Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

Mars: New hypothesis on the origin of the megafloods
A study published in Scientific Reports puts forward a new explanation for the Martian megafloods: enormous discharges of subterranean water that dug out the biggest flood channels in the solar system over 3 billion years ago.
For many years it was thought that these megafloods were caused by the release of a deep global hydrosphere in the Martian subsoil. However, the research conducted by J. P. Alexis Rodríguez of the Planetary Science Institute (PSI-USA), with the participation of Rogelio Linares and Mario Zarroca of the Department of Geology of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), has revealed that their origin could have been vast quantities of sediment and ice deposited 450 million years before the floods.
The findings from this project, which was partially supported by NASA funding for the PSI under its Planetary Geology and Geophysics Program, are detailed in the study entitled “Martian outflow channels: How did their source aquifers form, and why did they drain so quickly?”
The article, co-authored by the UAB Geology Department members mentioned above, describes how the sediments carried by rivers and glaciers filled up enormous canyons below an ancient ocean located in the Northern Lowlands, and how it was the release of the water trapped in these buried sediments that caused the megafloods, whose effects we can observe in the present.
The canyons filled up, the ocean disappeared and the planet surface remained frozen for around 450 million years. Subsequently, 3200 million years ago, the heat from lava beneath the canyons thawed the ice trapped in the sediments and enormous rivers of subterranean water spread over hundreds of kilometres, before eventually bursting out on to the now-dry surface and causing the megafloods.
In the words of the Geology Department researchers, “Our research suggests that, given that the process was regional rather than global, there could still be large reservoirs of subterranean water trapped under the surface of Mars, in the areas around the old northern ocean, or in other parts of the planet where seas and lakes formed at the same time.” “Traces of ancient environments capable of sustaining life forms similar to those on Earth could have been preserved in sub-surface materials that are now exposed,” claim R. Linares and M. Zarroca. “The results obtained could have clear implications both for exobiological research and for future human activity on Mars.”
To illustrate the scale of the Martian megafloods, the UAB researchers have estimated the effect they would have on Europe, quantifying it as around 2,500,000 km2.

A mysterious luminous object was sighted on the evening of November 17, 2015, thousands of people in the skies of the city of Omsk in Siberia (Russia).
The bright object was seen by thousands of people then flocked to the streets to watch the show in the skies of Omsk. Subsequently there was a real invasion on social networks, where thousands of witnesses, who shared photos and videos, as well as the various experiences of this exceptional sighting. Until now, the Russian Ministry of Defense has never stated that the sighting of Omsk was due to the launch of a spacecraft or the return of an intercontinental ballistic missile.

3:00 AM. My home has an enclosed back porch. It is not a flimsy structure. There is a window in the door that goes out to my concrete patio. The atmospheric conditions were as clear as possible. Due to my home being located in a very rural section of Western Ocean County, NJ – In the NJ Pine Barrens. There is a 15,000 acre Protected NJ Game Reserve twenty feet from my back door of my enclosed porch. The edge of said game reserve is within view of the windows within my enclosed porch. I first noticed above the tree line the crescent Moon in the early morning sky. I then looked to my right above the tree line. I have looked out from that same exact location on hundreds of occasions. Over the course of the approaching two years since I moved into my current home.
This part of Western Ocean County, NJ is extremely rural. One of the very few location’s within NJ where ambient light does not impede the ability to see the night sky in an unexpectedly very clear manner. When I noticed what I believed to be what appeared to be a star as bright as the planet Venus in the night sky. I had never before ever observed a star like object in this area above the pine forest tree line. Based on the prior perspective & capabilities I have previously experienced. Within eight seconds of noticing this “new star”. It started to move at lightening fast speed diagonally on a sharp angle. Having dropped below the tree line. It was very difficult to see due to the density of the forest.

Though, due to it’s extreme brightness, I was still able to make it out through the pine tree’s in the forest. It remained there for less than twenty seconds. Once again, at an amazing observation of lightning fast speed. This star like appearing very bright object. Soared above the tree line by what appeared to me to be an ascent of six hundred feet within less than three seconds! As I continued observing this very bright star looking like object. It continued moving up & down at truly such fast speed that it could not have been a drone or any type of manufactured airborne object from the planet Earth. I watched it moving in a manner that was not consistent with anything that I had any ability to explain. It varied from very precise right & also left angle trajectory flight.
Once again, all movement that I saw were all occurring at lightening fast speed and beyond that specific description of truly jaw dropping speed in sync with perfect avionics. The kind of super accurate movement and motions that were unlike any traditional aircraft I had ever observed, prior to this specific event. I did not have the ability to accurately know how large this object, AKA UFO was/is. Beyond it maintaining it’s consistent brightness. It was not pulsating. It was not changing it’s size or the amount of star like bright white light that I was observing from what I in a conjectured manner of thought. Possibly believed that this object was anywhere from twenty miles away from my home. Upwards of it very possibly being hundred’s of miles away from my home location. If it was very far away.
That caused me to wonder about what the true and accurate size of this, not of this Earth, flying object truly and honestly was. I do not own a telescope. I own a pair of high power binoculars. I did not want to search for them in the main part of my home. With great concern that if I stopped intently observing this most unexplained flying marvel in the early morning sky above at 3:00 AM EDT until 3:25 AM EDT. Everything that I have communicated above was done so in an ethical and honest manner. I did not add or exaggerate anything relative to my honest observation that I have shared above. I would love to know exactly what it was that I was actually observing. FYI: My home is a fifteen minute drive from the town of Lakehurst, NJ ( I do not know the zip code there ).
There is a very large US Naval Base located in Lakehurst, NJ. Most people I know locally believe that this specific US Military Naval Base has Nuclear Weapons located on its very large base. When the local & State Wide NJ Press has inquired as to whether or not this US Naval Base does or does not have Nuclear Weapons on it’s grounds or within it’s large & multi-faceted infrastructure. The official spokespeople from this US Military Facility have consistently responded with the answer: “NO COMMENT”. I’ve read & heard in the recent past, that UFO’s are frequently attracted to military facilities that contain nuclear weapon’s. Possibly that’s was why the specific UFO sighting I observed. Very may well have been within the specific area that I have just related. Beyond my original accurate described observation. Which is now being honestly shared & reported here.

UFO hunters claim astronaut Scott Kelly has evidence of aliens lingering around the International Space Station.
They say they have spotted an alien ship in the top right corner of an image Kelly tweeted of India from 250 miles (400km) above the Earth.
Kelly was 'trying to tell the world about the existence of aliens' without directly saying anything, conspiracy theorists claim.
But, like many of the so-called motherships seen in space images, this may just be part of the ISS projecting out in front of the camera lens.

In a video made by YouTube channel Sonofmabarker, the narrator said: 'In the upper right of the photo you can clearly see a large object with two lights on each end.
'I would find it hard to believe that Scott Kelly did not notice this when he tweeted this out.
'It really sticks out like a sore thumb. Scott Kelly thank you for sending this photo down to Earth.
Scott Waring, editor of blog site UFOsightingsdaily.com, said: 'When an astronaut tweets a photo of a UFO, you can bet people notice it.

THE ISS IN NUMBERS
Construction of the ISS began on 20 November 1998. It supports a crew of up to six, with crews typically split into groups of three.
The station orbits at a height of about 255 miles (410km). It has a total mass of about 990,000 pounds (450,000kg) and has living space roughly equivalent to a five-bedroom house.
It completes an orbit of Earth every 92.91 minutes and moves at 17,100 miles (27,600km) per hour.
It has now been in space for more than 6,000 days, during which time it has completed more than 92,500 orbits of Earth, and has been continuously occupied for more than 14 years.
'Scott Kelly likes to send out photos of the view from the windows of the space station, and they look cool.
He describes the latest 'sighting' as a cigar-shaped glowing UFO with a metallic body that is around 25 meters long and 150 to 200 meters away from the ISS.
'It looks like Scott was trying to hint at the existence of aliens. Message received Scott, and thanks.'
This isn't the first time conspiracy theorists have seen what they believe to be an alien ship around the ISS,
in August, footage allegedly taken from a Nasa camera shows a pink and white object soaring across space.
It reignited claims the ISS is being 'monitored by extra-terrestrials'.
The short clip, uploaded to YouTube, is the latest to fuel claims that extra terrestrials are monitoring Earth
The supposed sighting came after another Nasa video, shot from the ISS in June, which showed mysterious lights 'leaving' Earth before the stream cut.
According to a prolific Nasa watcher, YouTube user Streetcap1, it proved Nasa is trying its best to prevent us knowing about a mysterious alien race.
The most likely explanation is much more mundane, with the sudden blackout caused by either a camera glitch or a fragment of space debris.
Streetcap1 captioned the video: 'During a period when the camera is moving for around two minutes, Nasa captures a distant pink and gold object.
'Caught August 3 2015. We need them to maybe start pointing the ISS cameras outward and stop treating people like children.'

Many commenters accuse Streetcap1 of doctoring the footage. The user admitted to adjusting the lighting to 'bring out' and 'clarify' certain qualities, but insists the rest is direct from Nasa.
The June video is a short clip taken from Nasa's ISS live stream, which shows the views from cameras on the space station.
Created by Mister Enigma on YouTube, the video advises viewers to watch in full screen mode as 'the UFOs are really small.'
Watching the video, a small speck of light can be seen very faintly in the distance rising from the atmosphere.
The feed from Nasa then cuts out, with the message: 'Please stand by.

The user complains that Nasa is deliberately pointing the camera inward so we cannot see the UFOs
'The High Definition Earth Viewing experiment is either switching cameras, or we are experiencing a temporary loss of signal with the International Space Station.'
The video then replays the footage but zooms in, showing what seem to be two rotating dots rising from the atmosphere.
But before proclaiming that humanity has finally made first contact with aliens, it's probably worth pointing out that there are several more rational explanations.
First, the quality of the video is extremely low. The two specks of light could simply be a glitch in the footage, or a glint of sunlight.
It could also be some space debris orbiting Earth, or even a satellite.
And the timing of Nasa switching off the video, while unfortunate, is certainly not on purpose; Nasa often switches cameras or temporarily turns off the feed.
Does this NASA footage prove that aliens exist?
Nasa cut away from a live ISS stream the other day. The agency often cuts away to change cameras or when it's out of range. But some conspiracy theorists claimed to have seen UFOs in the video. And they claim Nasa ended the stream to prevent people seeing the 'aliens'. The object is seen in the red ring
This can be for a number of reasons, such as the station moving out of range of ground stations.
It's also highly unlikely that Nasa monitors this feed constantly, as it runs almost around the clock seven days a week, apart from these brief stops.
'I'm a bit suspicious of this video, it could be of 'real' objects out there or some form of camera trickery,' Nigel Watson, author of the UFO Investigations Manual, told MailOnline.
'UFO spotters love to see any object or flick of light out there as proof that extraterrestrial craft are monitoring our planet, and are keeping an eye on the ISS at a distance.
'Though if they are piloted by aliens using advanced technology wouldn't they have perfected the means to hide themselves completely from our cameras?'

Described as 'scary but beautiful', the streaking fireball provoked jokes about aliens and Batman's calling card, but no-one could definitively explain a flying object that was also seen far to the south in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.
Footage highlighted by major media outlet LifeNews showed the UFO flashing fast track over the local IKEA furniture store in Omsk, heading in an easterly direction. Yet it is one of a number of recent unexplained flying objects over Siberia - links to others are here.

Astronomers at the planetarium of the Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies in Novosibirsk said of the early evening 17 November sightings: 'It is definitely not a comet.'
Their theory was that 'the object was the second stage of intercontinental ballistic missile Topol launched at 15:12 Moscow time (or 18:12 Novosibirsk time) from Kapustin Yar cosmodrome in Astrakhan region.'

Insider Camila Sharzhanova explained that the exact construction of the newest modification of Topol RS-12M is a secret but she speculated that the object was the second stage of the new missile. 'It was whirling so that the trajectory doesn't change, the fuel left was discharged through side nozzles.'
TASS stated that the missile hit its trial target at Saryshagan polygon in Kazakhstan. Yet many doubted that its routing would take it over Tymen and Novosibirsk, which is some 1,200km distant.

And there was a different view from Omsk. Vladimir Krupko, head of the city's planetarium, said: 'I am 100% sure it was a launch. I saw a ring and a moving cloud. Most probably, it was the engine's discharge.
'Given the direction, could be from Plesetsk (in northern Russia), but I can't find information about any launch, there is information only about a launch of a military satellite from Plesetsk in the afternoon.'

KOTA KINABALU: Three young men have claimed witnessing an unidentified flying object (UFO) that appeared to be burning, descending at Dumpil Bay, Putatan, on Monday. However, the authorities have dismissed the claim as a hoax after a fruitless search in the area.
The three young men, Shahrizal Matusin, 20, Rozaidin Alimudin, 24, and Azmi Lamjin, 28, were reportedly heading back to Lok Kawi on their motorcycles after attending their friends’ birthday party around 1.30 am on Monday when they spotted a huge burning object shaped like a plane slowly descending into the sea 50 metres away near the Lok Kawi Army Camp.
The trio immediately halted their motorbikes to get a closer look but the sea appeared to be calm as usual and the unidentified object seemed to have disappeared into thin air.
They subsequently informed the police who conducted a search with a rescue unit. The search ended four hours later.
Penampang police chief DSP Rosley Hobden later confirmed that the sighting could be a hoax as the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) had no report on any flying objects or a crash on its radar at that time.
The 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama appeared as a guest on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ program, and, as Kimmel did with Clinton, he asked the current president if he knew anything about Area 51 and UFO’s. The interview was filled with background laughter and thats the best way to discuss Alien life. You can’t be certain if its true or not.
Kimmel addressed the issue in the same way he had done before, telling the interviewee that if he was the president of the United States, the first thing he would do is take a look at what the government really knows about UFOs and extraterrestrial life.
“That’s the reason why you would not be president,” was the immediate response of Obama. He added: ”The aliens would not allow it. It would reveal all their secrets. They exercise great control over us.”

Have UFOs suddenly taken an interest in golf? On June 7, 2015 a triangular UFO has been photographed above the Golf Club at Dove Mountain in Marana, Arizona.
Witness report: On vacation (Tucson AZ) playing golf, watched and heard F18's flying around courses a lot that day, took picture of friend and saw craft in photo it made no sound unlike F18's, it was so far off I didn't think it was a craft, (maybe a bird) plus made no sound so I went back to playing golf.
Later that evening was looking at image with friend and we decided it had to be a craft of some kind. I worked for General Dynamics for few years and watched a lot of military aircraft flying and this looked nothing like any I have observed. It appeared to be ascending in a straight line at about a 20 degree angle. The sighting is reported to Mufon.

Victor Marchetti CIA says, “We Have been Visited”
Victor Marchetti is a former Executive Assistant to the Deputy Director of CIA who wrote, “We have, indeed, been contacted — perhaps even visited — by extraterrestrial beings, and the US government, in collusion with the other national powers of the Earth, is determined to keep this information from the general public. Victor Marchetti, former Special Assistant to the Executive Director of the CIA, in an article written by him for Second Look entitled “How the CIA Views the UFO Phenomenon”, Vol 1, No 7, Washington, DC, May 1979. __
Pages 2-7, in an article entitled “How the CIA views the UFO phenomenon“, the purpose of the international conspiracy is to maintain a workable stability among the nations of the world and for them, in turn, to retain institutional control over their respective populations. Thus, for these governments to admit that there are beings from outer space with mentalities and technological capabilities obviously far superior to ours, could, once fully perceived by the average person, erode the foundations of the Earth’s traditional power structure.
Political and legal systems, religions, scientific, economic and social institutions could all soon become meaningless in the mind of the public. The national oligarchic establishments, even civilization as we know it, could collapse into anarchy. Such extreme conclusions are not necessarily valid, but they probably accurately reflect the fears of the ‘ruling classes’ of the major nations, whose leaders (particularly those in the intelligence business) have always advocated excessive governmental secrecy as being necessary to preserve ‘national security.'”
What Marchetti says is perfectly consistent with the Brookings Institute research of the late 1960s, which said that contact would be dangerously disruptive, since superior civilizations demolish inferior civilizations throughout human history, either violently or at least culturally. He also was intrigued by the fact that he knew they had globally dispersed UFO collection facilities through the clandestine services. He thought cover-up is further implied by the fact that few of those have ever been released. He also mentions in the article that he had heard some rumors in high places about the possession of extraterrestrial debris.
Another highly placed rumor was in regard to the National Security Agency’s detection by SIGINT of ‘strange signals’ that had been attributed to extraterrestrial origin – and this was when the NSA denied having any information or involvement with UFOs until they were sued in the early 1980s under the FOIA and won exemption, but still conceded having some information.
In an on-camera interview with journalist George Knapp, Sokolov says that the USSR decided UFOs were a unique phenomenon and could only be extraterrestrial. He also said that communications with the CIA revealed that the CIA had reached the same conclusion.
NASA Apollo 17 Film Shows Triangle
Appollo 17 was crewed by Eugene A. Cernan Command Module Pilot Ronald E. Evans and Lunar Module Pilot Dr. Harrison P. Schmitt who had a PhD in Geology from Harvard. The primary scientific objectivesincluded “geological surveying and sampling of materials and surface features in the Taurus-Littrow region.” A 16mm film take from the Moon Lander Module window during undocking clearly shows a triangular-shaped aerial object rotating several times at the top right of the photo and moving down to the right. The object appears to be a UFO observing the astronauts.
On December 11, 1972, Apollo 17 touched down on the Moon. This was not only our final Moon landing, but also the last time astronauts left Low Earth Orbit. The two astronauts unloaded a lunar rover, and began to deploy scientific instruments around their landing site: an experiments package and explosives (to complete seismic experiments begun with other Apollo missions in other locations on the Moon). Their first exclusion in the rover yielded numerous samples of lunar rock. Over the next couple of days, the astronauts completed two additional Moonwalks, where they continued to drive across the lunar surface and collect samples.
On December 14th, 1972, Cernan became the last human to step on the Moon’s surface: 07 00 00 47: “Bob, this is Gene, and I’m on the surface and as I take man’s last steps from the surface, back home, for some time to come, but we believe not too long into the future. I’d like to just list what I believe history will record that America’s challenge of today has forged man’s destiny of tomorrow. And, as we leave the Moon at Taurus Littrow, we leave as we come and, God willing, as we shall return, with peace and hope for all mankind. Pilot and Crew Witness Alien Craft over the Atlantic
Atlantic Ocean — Often times in dealing with older UFO cases, they simply remain “status quo.” It is rare that new information comes forward. Luckily, that is not the case with the incredible June 29, 1954 sighting of seven UFOs from an England-bound Boeing Stratocruiser flying over the Atlantic Ocean. Crew members, and passengers saw the UFOs, and one of the eyewitnesses’ daughters has given us compelling evidence about this mysterious event. Our eyewitness who came forward worked for the British Airways as a manager for over 25 years, and is now is retired. The case of the BOAC (British Overseas Airline Corporation) airliner is extraordinary in that the UFOs, morphed, or changed shape, in flight. The seven UFOs paced the giant airship for part of its journey, which initiated at Idlewild Airport, New York at precisely 4:55 PM. Veteran pilot James Howard was at the controls. The BOAC airliner flew north over Connecticut and Rhode Island. At about 9:05 PM, Captain Howard saw the UFOs-one larger object, a mother ship, and six smaller UFOs. Most of the passengers were already asleep as the sightings began. Howard immediately informed his co-pilot First Officer Lee Boyd, but Boyd had already seen them. The objects were definitely flying as a group, and pacing the plane. Three of the UFOs led the mother ship, and three brought up the rear. The group of unknown flying objects flew parallel to the BOAC for about 80 miles of its journey. Although the six “escort” ships stayed the same, the mother ship appeared to change shapes occasionally.
The crew of the BOAC radioed Goose Bay in Labrador, Canada to find out what they were seeing. Goose Bay had nothing on radar to explain the seven UFOs. The tower dispatched a Royal Canadian Air Force fighter jet to investigate the sightings. The mother ship was described by the crew as being as large as an ocean liner. Not long before the jet arrived to check out the group of unknowns, the UFOs started to vanish from the sky.
Eyewitness George Allen, “It looked to me as though the six smaller UFOs disappeared went inside the big one.” The entire sighting lasted 18 minutes as it covered the 80 miles. Howard informed the jet that the UFOs were now gone.
The sighting of the seven UFOs was reported through official channels. Captain Howard was interviewed in the December 11, 1954 issue of Everybody’s Weekly. He stated: “It was a solid thing. I’m sure of that, maneuverable and controlled intelligently-a sort of base (mother) ship linked somehow with those smaller attendant satellites. There is no rational explanation-except on the basis of space ships and flying saucers. It must have been some weird form of space ship from another world.”

French Cometa Report “UFOs and Defense:
“What Should We Prepare For?”
High-level French officials – including numerous retired generals and admirals from the French Institute of Higher Studies for National Defense (IHEDN), a government-financed strategic planning agency – several years ago took a giant step in openly challenging skepticism about UFOs. They asked what should we prepare for?
In a report based on a three-year study, the French concluded that “numerous manifestations observed by reliable witnesses could be the work of craft of extraterrestrial origin” and that, in fact, the best explanation is “the extraterrestrial hypothesis.” The COMETA Report 2000 was prefaced by General Bernard Norlain of the Air Force, former Director of the IHEDN. All held important positions as intelligence analysts of IHEDN. The group was presided over by General Denis Letty of the Air Force, and. General Bruno Lemoine.
Some key members were Admiral Marc Merlo of IHEDN), Michel Algrin, Doctor in Political Sciences, General Pierre Bescond, engineer for armaments (former auditor of IHEDN). The preamble was by Andre’Lebeau, former President of the National Center for Space Studies (Centre National D’études Spatiales), or CNES.
Outside contributors included Jean-Jacques Velasco, head of SEPRA at CNES, François Louange, President of Fleximage, specializing in photo analysis, and General Joseph Domange, of the Air Force,.
The French group reached conclusion after examining nearly 500 international aeronautical sightings and radar/visual cases, and previously undisclosed pilots’ reports. They drew on data from official sources, government authorities, and the air forces of other countries.
In its conclusion, COMETA claims that the physical reality of UFOs, under control of intelligent beings, is “quasi certain”. Only one hypothesis takes into account the available data: the hypothesis of extraterrestrial visitors. This hypothesis is of course unproved, but has far-reaching consequences. The report states that there have been ”visits often for hours above secret installations and missile bases” and ”military aircraft shadowed.”
The goals of these extra terrestrials remain unknown but must be the subject of speculations and prospective scenarios. In its final recommendations, it stresses again the need to :
1) inform all decision-makers and persons in position of responsibility;
2) reinforce means of investigation and study at SEPRA;
3) have UFO detection taken into account by agencies engaged in of space surveillance;
4) create a strategic cell at the highest state level ; 5) undertake diplomatic action toward the Unites States for cooperation on this “capital question”;
6) study measures which might be necessary in case of emergencies.

The findings are contained in a 90-page report titled “UFOs and Defense: “What Should We Prepare For?” It is apparent these Frenchmen see an apparent threat from aliens and their report should not be forgotten.
The Third World War
Pope Francis has often framed the upsurge in violence around the globe in terms of a “third World War” being waged piecemeal through crimes, massacres, religious persecution and the destruction of cultural sites. On Saturday, he told the Italian Bishops “there are no justifications for these things.”
The Islamic State claims responsibility for downing a Russian plane with a soda pop bomb, and attacks in Beirut, Lebanon, and Paris, France in recent weeks. The Russian plane crashed in Egypt kills all 224 passengers and crew after a bomb caused the crash in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula on October31, 2015. American intelligence experts revealed a ‘heat flash’ was detected on satellite images at the same time and location that the Russian plane crashed.
The Lebanon health ministry said 43 people had died and 239 were wounded in the twin blasts on November 12, 2015, which targeted the Muslim Shia-majority. At least 128 people died in Friday night’s November 13, 2015 rampage in Paris. The Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for killing over 400 people. Some of the Islamic State’s terrorists were recent immigrants from Syria.
Syrian President Assad says his country warned three years ago what would happen in Europe if the West continued to support “terrorists” in his country. The Islamic State warned this is just the beginning as Washington DC and New York City will be attacked. My prediction is that the attacks will likely insure that Jeb Bush will become more popular and become the next US President.
Why is the Islamic State killing and beheading large numbers of people claiming to follow the Quran. Mohammed was a great general who conquered virtually all of Saudi Arabia.
Islam Armies conquered all of the Middle East, Northern Africa, and Spain; and were only barely defeated in Northern France in 732 in the Battle of Tours saving Europe from becoming Muslim.
The Quran contains at least 109 verses that call Muslims to war with nonbelievers for the sake of Islamic rule. Some are quite graphic, with commands to chop off heads and fingers and kill infidels wherever they may be hiding. Muslims who do not join the fight are called ‘hypocrites’ and warned that Allah will send them to Hell if they do not join the slaughter.
Those that make war against God and His apostle and spread disorder in the land shall be slain and crucified or have their hands and feet cut off on alternate sides, or be banished from the land. Quran 5:33, “The Table,” .
Dr. Moorthy Muthuswamy writes, “About sixty-one percent of the contents of the Koran are found to speak ill of unbelievers or call for their violent conquest; only 2.6 percent of the verses of the Quran are noted to show goodwill toward humanity. About seventy-five percent of Muhammad’s biography (Sira) consists of jihad war waged on unbelievers.” “And kill them wherever you find them”: that is in the Quran three times (2:191, 4:89, and 9:5). The radical Islamic State is using the Quran to recruit and justify its actions. “I shall cast terror into the hearts of the infidels. Strike off their heads, strike off the very tips of their fingers.” ….truthbeknown
Mars Structures
Martian Archaeology anomaly hunters report a possible UFO crash in the Candor Chasma region of Mars discovered by Mars researcher Neville Thompson. Mars Archaeology described the find as “exposed ruins on Mars caused by a crashed flying saucer.” And indeed, the images, which showed the site from different angles, appeared to reveal a crash site. The Inquisitr commented at the time that the images appeared to show a “low flying saucer-shaped craft that crashed on the Martian surface.”
“… a low flying saucer-shaped craft that crashed on the Martian surface, plowing into the Martian soil and finally coming to rest half-submerged in the red soil. And that is not all — the scaled 3-D reconstruction of the site (see below) suggests that the flying saucer was actually approaching the entrance to an underground storage and maintenance facility for ships, which could also have been a production facility.”

Note: It difficult to assume a UFO actually crashed since there does not appear to be dirt piled around the alleged crash site. A cylinder shaped structure with a bridge like object appears to be near the rounded buried object. In any case, the objects do not appear natural and represent structures made by Martians or other extraterrestrials.

October 2015 saw a total of 992 UFO sightings reported to MUFON from around the world. Sightings by Country US 777. UK 59, Canada 56, Australia 15, Germany 7, India 7 and Mexico 6.
Sightings by stare were California 115, Michigan 47, Texas 46, Florida 44, Ohio 40, New York 40, and Pennsylvania 35.

Arizona Triangle
Tucson — On vacation, playing golf I watched and F18’s flying around allot on May 7, 2015. I took a triangle craft in my photo that made no sound unlike F18’s. It was so far off I did not think it was a craft since it made no sound.
I went back to playing golf. Later that evening was looking at image with friend and we decided it had to be a craft of some kind. I worked for General Dynamics and watched a lot of military aircraft flying and this looked nothing like any I have seen. It was ascending at a 20 degree angle. Thanks to MUFON CMS
California Strange Lights
Aliso Viejo — I was walking my wife to her car at 5 am outside our apartment on November 7, 2015.when I saw a strange light.
I said, “Look at this!” She pulled her camera and tried to take photos of a green light around a red light in the center. The light was brighter than I ever seen. My wife left and I got my phone and took video and some photos. Ten minutes later, it was hovering and then it moved farther away. It was too large to be a star and had a red light in its center. The camera did not show the red and green rays coming out of the object. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Seal Beaches — In Garden Grove coming out of the movie theatre on November 14, 2015, looking northeast, I saw a bright orange light. First thought, another so-called middle launch. Then saw four more, except horizontal path at first, changing to vertical path, same as the first one. Each new orange light appeared about 3-5 minutes after the other. Eventually losing sight of each one consecutively as they rose higher and higher into the night sky. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Florida Light
Jacksonville— On Friday November 13, 2015 at about 6:10 pm, I was on Amelia Island taking pictures of the crescent moon.
Upon reviewing the pictures, I noticed the flume in three of the photos.
It was not seen during the taking of the photos. Upon reviewing the photos and zooming the photos on the flume there is a cylinder shaped object. The three photos submitted were all taken within a minute or two of each other. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Illinois Lights
Grantfork — On November 2, 2015, I saw bright white unusual starlight, with a red star on its left. In addition, above the white one was a 1ight changing colors from white/to red so I figured it was an airplane. I watched it for five minutes as I got closer to Grantfork, I could see an outline of a weird shaped triangle.
I sped up as the UFO gained speed and I started to lose sight. I followed speeding up and looked back to check and saw this small V shaped thing with a bright light. I came into town down about 85 mph, slammed on the brakes, and got out of car to take a video and it was gone. Thanks to William Puckett, DirectorUFOsnw
Massachusetts Boomerangs
Driving home on Route 3 South on November 10, 2015, I witnessed a horseshoe shaped beam of light glowing white with a bluish tone. It flashed quickly then moved forward slightly, showed the light in the horseshoe shape again and then disappeared. I was sober and this was unlike anything I have ever seen before. I often look at the sky at night. I was in disbelief because even though I have done a lot of research in this field and I know what I saw, and I have full confidence that this was a ufo. Montana Discs
Clancy – On November 4, 2015, this photo was taken by the east-facing motion-activated camera (Reconnyx Hyperfire 900 trail camera) on the corner of the house. The cameras are set to record 20 photos less than a second apart when motion activated. I was reviewing photos and two bright spots were not seen in the photos immediately before or after this one.
Second Report by Witness: The sun was definitely to the right of the two objects and the end of the object appears to be reflecting the sunlight. The left end, with a much brighter light – looks like a light source. The glow on the left end may be related to the propulsion system. The smaller object above appears to have the same configuration. The larger object appears to have a small circular porthole.
Note: Trail cameras took the above photos facing east operated by anesthesiologist Dr. Richard O’Conner who monitors airspace with cameras around the Jesse Marcel Library. Richard O’Conner started the library in memorandum of Jesse Marcel Sr. and Dr. Jesse Marcel Jr. Dr. O’Conner is a UFO and crop circle researcher and regularly facilitates UFO meetings. Note: Enlargement reveals that the objects are similar in appearance and were only in the field of view of the east-facing camera for 1/20 second. The cameras are triggered by motion and will snap 20 frames/second. Both objects show a pronounced bright spot on the left end, which could be an energy or light source and not a reflection. Nevada Light
Henderson — I was at work, driving a company vehicle and turned onto Larson Lane and saw the bright whittle light on November 7, 2015. I thought it was a helicopter. It was hovering very low about halfway up the hill and hovered slowly until it just faded out. I snapped a picture and some video. The hill had a mist like “glow” around it. I took a nap in my car and awoke at 10 PM with several hours of missing time. I finished my shift and left the shop at around midnight. I woke up extremely ill with flu. Thanks to MUFON CMS
New Jersey Metallic Saucer
Cherry Hill — I walked outside and stood there watching the stars for 10 minutes on November 4, 2015, as they seemed very bright. While talking on the phone, I saw a black object slowly moving on a fixed path. It was 50 feet away and 50 feet above me for three seconds. I was shocked and felt riveted, as it appeared to be a moving constellation. It blocked out other stars as it moved above me. It was difficult to tell where the formation exactly started as the light-colored part reflected the streetlights. The whole thing moved smoothly and made the sound of something mechanical moving. The exterior lights looked like stars in a triangular formation. It eventually dissipated into the sky. Photo is a rendering. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Seaside Park – The witness saw four lights moving in the sky that came together into one light and shot over the Atlantic Ocean in only five seconds on November 16, 2015, at 9:50 PM.
It was ten times faster than any aircraft. He saw the same object in January 2010 from Quarter Avenue. It flew off in exactly the same location and speed. He thought it might be some sort of a runway. Thanks to MUFON CMS
New York Orb
Bronx – I was jogging by the Marina Del Ray catering hall, which is by the Whitestone Bridge when I looked up and saw a bright light. It had a white tail. The ball of light was ascending towards the sunlight and reminded me of what I heard at my aunt’s funeral the night before. He said, “My aunt would give me a sign that she was all right.” The light to the sun reminded me of my aunt’s spirit ascending to heaven. I did not want to get cold so I continued jogging. Later when I enlarged the pictures, I noticed I caught something amazing. Thanks to MUFON CMS
North Carolina Orb
Clingmans Dome — In the Smoky Mountains, I was taking pictures of the scenery on November 15, 2015, when I noticed a big odd green spot in my screen. I couldn’t see it with my naked eye so I assumed the lens was dirty. No one was projecting a light so I just continued to take pictures for twenty minutes.
Later looking at my pictures, I saw the green spot in many pictures in just one area of the mountains. The photos containing the green light were taken from about 4:54 to 5:05 PM. It was in different spots in all of the pictures. I was wondering if it was a drone. It moved erratically, changes shape, and has lights in some images. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Texas Lights
Dallas — Driving into my gated apt complex, looked up and saw a chevron shaped formation on October 28, 2015.
The lights, giving shape to the chevron were orange-red. The formation did not emit sound. As I continued to observe, 3-4 solid orange-red “orbs” followed the chevron- equidistantly spaced. I started to record this event with my phone after a minute or so all of the lights disappeared.

Washington – Light
Chehalis– On November 3, 2015, I looked at the white object with binoculars as a spiral came out of it. It started up rather vertically and then slowly went horizontal. I took the photo with my cellphone. The light was in one spot for over 20 minutes.
Note: The witness saw the object moving horizontally and vertically. Contrails are elongated and do not appear as dots in the sky.
Too many people do not look at what witnesses see when analyzing photos.
Caloundra, Queensland– We were sitting on our balcony when we noticed the orb like light ascend from behind the buildings in the distance on November 7, 2015. We noticed the light because it was out of the ordinary for such an object to be in this area. It ascended and proceeded to descend then move in a sideways direction, then disappeared behind the building in the distance. We were not scared just surprised. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Araguacu, Tocantin — My Son in law described seeing several objects moving around the night sky on November 10, 2015.
They would stay stationary for a while and then maneuver around.
They were different colored lights flashing in rapid succession.

Bulgaria Disc
Sophia — I was taking a picture of a new building, when suddenly this disc like UFO appeared over the city and moved very fast on October 8, 2015.
It made sharp turns and was extremely fast. I thought I had to take a picture of it so I did.
I took about 10-15 photos, but only this one came out non-blurry, as the object was stationary at that time. After this, it shot up into the sky and disappeared. Thanks to MUFON CMS

India Bright Object
Bangalore Hsr Layou — I just returned from my work around 5 am, on October 29, 2015, and decided to have a smoke after a hard day’s work.
While smoking I observed a bright object hovering above the moon and flashing lights. So I took a picture of it. It was hovering for a minute, and by the time, I decided to take another snap I was gone. It was clear sky with no trails of cloud anywhere. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Corydon— Since April 26, 2015, from the first night I moved into my residence I have been observing these objects. There is no consistency like you would have with planets. It will occur for several nights in a row and will not reoccur for months. My wife and I were watching a thunderstorm, when the flashing object appeared as I had seen many times before. At times, it has made sudden moves such as getting out of the way of an airplane. One of the first encounters involved the object being close to my home and I got my telescope to look as it moved away. It disappeared just as suddenly after the storm subsided. Korea Orb
Seoul — I was heading out to go to a café and caught sight of the object. There was no movement, nor sound, nor was there the flashing of lights that one would expect. I had seen a similar thing a few nights before, but was unable to get photos. It was beginning to fade but unlike this one, it had drifted out of view. Due to my missed opportunity, I was more motivated to capture this one. I pulled out my iPhone 6 and shot a few pictures and a short video. I was enjoying sunset scenery outside my balcony around 6:46 PM, on November 7, 2015. I captured three photos of the beautiful scenery and found a sphere with two lights on it. Based on the objects shape, I think it is an UFO. I was unaware of the existence of the object until I reviewed my photos on my Samsung Galaxy.
Note: I found that initially the object was hovering in the sky. However, based on the third photo, the object just flew away. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Norway Light
Molde — The object was filmed from 6:50 to 8:10 PM, on October 11, 2015 in the right side of the image. The location of the fish farm can be found at 62.44’32.08″ N 7.22’34.38″ E on Google Earth. In the last part of six video at 4:03 minutes, the unknown object can be seen flying slowly towards the north. At times smaller lights can be seen. The video camera had to be recharged at one point during the sighting. NOTE: The five other videos can be found on YouTube. TVUFOFootage.

Chester le Street — Having a coffee in the garden, I noticed a light coming in my direction quite slowly. It had a bright light at one end that was flashing on one off in 10 second intervals on August 11, 2015. I realized the flashing light was reflecting the sun, which was rising in the East behind me. It was an oblong tube shaped object tumbling end over end catching the sun like a bright light flashing on and off. I went for my camera and could see it was going to pass over my home so I just kept pressing the shutter and captured some images. It was traveling at a steady speed and height until it was overhead then it turned north towards Newcastle upon Tyne. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Norwich – I have been doing astronomy since I was a kid, and know the sky and saw a very bright light low on the SW horizon. I assumed it was the ISS (International Space Station) as it can be quite bright and low. I grabbed my binoculars to see a bright yellow light and four red lights. It headed south in an arc and then east. I noticed a smaller object that I presumed was a jet was tailing it making engine noise and flashing navigation light. The larger craft was quiet, and through my binoculars was chevron shape of yellow and steady red lights. Both headed west at 10 PM. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Dubai— My wife and I were visiting the top deck of the world tallest building the Burj Khalifa for the sunrise observations on March 28, 2014. When the daylight begun to brighten the eastern sky, only minutes before the sunrise we noticed a very bright star at 7:08 am. It was not there a few minutes earlier. Soon, a second object appeared just few degrees above the first object. They both were moving slowly across the sky. I began taking photos and video. The first object was a spherical ball of fire that changed into two balls of fire with ionized glowing air.
The higher object was dropping down and appeared as glowing gas slowly losing its glow. After two minutes, the higher object with three lights opened but still connected on a three arm like structure. Suddenly the lights went off, and the object just zoomed away. Aroa, Estado Yaracu— It was 5:30 PM, and I was painting a metal structure in my house and looked north -75 degrees above the horizon on November 7, 2015, to see a flying UFO. I thought it was a plane but observing that lacked planes and tail, I thought it was a missile, but unlikely in Venezuela? It was light gray with a short flame that seemed electric because there was no smoke. It emitted a pulsating light from the tail in the front of some slight metallic sheen. HOUSTON-- Work needs to be done by commercial companies to take up the responsibility of supporting science and human astronauts in low-Earth orbit and beyond, according to NASA Administrator Charles Bolden.
Speaking yesterday (Nov. 17) at the first annual SpaceCom Expo here, Bolden talked about the need for a marketplace in low-Earth orbit where "NASA is not the only customer." This could potentially include maintaining the American side of the International Space Station, which serves as a one of a kind microgravity laboratory and testing ground for human trips into deep space. And Bolden doesn't imagine the work of private companies will stop there.
In reference to the commercial space market that has already begun to blossom, Bolden said, "Now that the doors have been kicked open, I'm looking forward to new ideas about what we do next and how we keep that market humming. Who has a plan for non-NASA astronauts to conduct low-Earth orbit ops? That's my question." [Building the International Space Station (Photos)]
Looking even further into the future, Bolden added, "As we focus on sending humans to Mars, it will likely be commercial companies and international partners who assume a lead role in taking humans back to the surface of the moon. And I'm all for that."
Bolden was not the only speaker at SpaceCom discussing the need for commercial companies to take over more responsibilities on the station, or to create new orbiting laboratories to replace it. NASA is committed to maintaining its portion of the station through 2024, but as Bolden said, the agency would like to dedicate its resources to more ambitious goals, like sending humans to Mars. But, as was noted by commercial spaceflight leaders at another recent conference, a human presence in low-Earth orbit provides information and training for human journeys to more distant space locations, and many leaders advocate for maintaining a human presence in low-Earth orbit while pursuing human trips to the moon or Mars.
The space station is also an invaluable scientific resource. The weightless environment provides a unique variable for testing all kinds of physical, chemical and biological processes. Currently, scientists must apply to NASA to have their experiments taken to the orbiting laboratory, but some commercial companies are beginning to change that. NanoRacks allows customers to send small experiments to the station, and Made In Space, the company that sent the first 3D printer into microgravity, can use its machine for commercial purposes. Companies with more capital can also pay to have scientific payloads launched on top of commercial rockets, but there is currently no option to put an experiment in space for a long duration.
Bolden noted that commercial spaceflight companies will be filling a larger role in NASA's human spaceflight program than ever before, when private companies begin delivering NASA astronauts to the International Space Station as part of the Commercial Crew Program. NASA has now officially ordered a CST-100 space taxi from Boeing. SpaceX was also awarded a contract to support the construction of its Dragon crew capsule, although NASA has not yet ordered one of the vehicles. Currently, NASA astronauts are launched to the space station aboard the Russian Soyuz capsule.
"If all goes well and we get full support from Congress, my hope is we will fly the first commercial crew capsules in late 2017, early 2018," Bolden said. "For the first time in quite some time we will no longer be dependent on any other nation to get our crews into space, and for us in this day and age that is critically important."

How would humanity change if we knew aliens existed?
We have yet to discover any signs of an extraterrestrial civilization — a prospect that could quite literally change overnight. Should that happen, our sense of ourselves and our place in the cosmos would forever be shaken. It could even change the course of human history. Or would it? Last week, SETI's Seth Shostak made the claim that we'll detect an alien civilization by 2040.
Personally, I don't believe this will happen (for reasons I can elucidate in a future post — but the Fermi Paradox is definitely a factor, as is the problem of receiving coherent radio signals across stellar distances). But it got me wondering: What, if anything, would change in the trajectory of a civilization's development if it had definitive proof that intelligent extraterrestrials (ETIs) were real?
Finding a World Much Like Our Own
As I thought about this, I assumed a scenario with three basic elements.
First, that humanity would make this historic discovery within the next several years or so.
Second, that we wouldn't actually make contact with the other civilization (just the receipt, say, of a radio transmission — something like a Lucy Signal that would cue us to their existence).
And third, that the ETI in question would be at roughly the same level of technological development as our own (so they're not too much more advanced than we are; that said, if the signal came from an extreme distance, like hundreds or thousands of light-years away, these aliens would probably have advanced appreciably by now. Or they could be gone altogether, the victims of a self-inflicted disaster).
I tossed this question over to my friend and colleague Milan Cirkovic. He's a Senior Research Associate at the Astronomical Observatory of Belgrade and a leading expert on SETI.
"Well, that's a very practical question, isn't it?" he responded. "Because people have been expecting something like this since 1960 when SETI was first launched — they haven't really been expecting to find billion-year old supercivilizations or just some stupid bacteria."
Indeed, the underlying philosophy of SETI over the course of its 50-year history has been that we'll likely detect a civilization roughly equal to our own — for better or worse. And no doubt, in retrospect it started to look "for worse" when the hopes of an early success were dashed.
Frank Drake and his colleagues thought they would find signs of ETIs fairly quickly, but that turned out not to be the case (though Drake's echo can still be heard in the unwarranted contact optimism of Seth Shostak)."Enormous Implications""Some people argued that a simple signal wouldn't mean much for humanity," added Cirkovic, "but I think Carl Sagan, as usual, had a good response to this."
Specifically, Sagan said that the very understanding that we are not unique in the universe would have enormous implications for all those fields in which anthropocentrism reigns supreme.
"Which means, I guess, half of all the sciences and about 99% of the other, non-scientific discourse," said Cirkovic. Sagan also believed that the detection of a signal would reignite enthusiasm for space in general, both in terms of research and eventually the colonization of space.
"The latter point was quite prescient, actually, because at the time he said this there wasn't much enthusiasm about it and it was much less visible and obvious than it is today," he added.
No doubt — this would likely generate tremendous excitement and enthusiasm for space exploration. In addition to expanding ourselves into space, there would be added impetus to reach out and meet them.
At the same time, however, some here on Earth might counterargue that we should stay home and hide from potentially dangerous civilizations (ah, but what if everybody did this?). Ironically, some might even argue that we should significantly ramp-up our space and military technologies to meet potential alien threats.
Developmental Trajectories
In response to my query about the detection of ETIs affecting the developmental trajectory of civilizations, Cirkovic replied that both of Sagan's points can be generalized to any civilization at their early stages of development.
He believes that overcoming speciesist biases, along with a constant interest and interaction with the cosmic environment, must be desirable for any (even remotely) rational actors anywhere. But Cirkovic says there may be exceptions — like species who emerge from radically different environments, say, the atmospheres of Jovian planets. Such species would likely have a lack of interest in surrounding space, which would be invisible to them practically 99% of the time.
So if Sagan is correct, detecting an alien civilization at this point in our history would likely be a good thing. In addition to fostering science and technological development, it would motivate us to explore and colonize space.
And who knows, it could even instigate significant cultural and political changes (including the advent of political parties both in support of and in opposition to all this). It could even lead to new religions, or eliminate them altogether.
Another possibility is that nothing would change.
Life on Earth would go on as per usual as people work to pay their bills and keep a roof above their heads.
There could be a kind of detachment to the whole thing, leading to a certain ambivalence.
At the same time however, it could lead to hysteria and paranoia. Even worse, and in twisted irony, the detection of a civilization equal to our own (or any life less advanced than us, for that matter) could be used to fuel the Great Filter Hypothesis of the Fermi Paradox.
According to Oxford's Nick Bostrom, this would be a strong indication that doom awaits us in the (likely) near future — a filter that affects all civilizations at or near our current technological stage. The reason, says Bostrom, is that in the absence of a Great Filter, the galaxy should be teeming with super-advanced ETIs by now. Which it's clearly not.
Yikes. Stupid Fermi Paradox — always getting in the way of our future plans.

Here is plenty of evidence showing UFO activity on our planet, but what are these mysterious flying crafts actually doing here?
While investigating the sky for strange phenomenon, UFO hunters have stumbled upon these enigmatic bright orbs that seem to perform diverse actions right above our heads. They can be seen during the night while executing physics-defying maneuvers, brisk turns and strange dips in brightness. The orbs appear even during the day, unconcerned about the humans observing them.
During the last couple of months, it seems that their activity has intensified, with reports coming from all over the world, not only from UFO hunters, but also from regular people surprised by these UFOs. What they try to achieve or who controls them remains to be discovered, but for the moment, we’ll reveal a small glimpse of what these orbs are doing.
The renowned UFO hunter and analyst Mr. Crow managed to film such an orb during the day while shooting into the chemtrails. He did an amazing job highlighting the shots fired by the orb. As you will notice, the strange shots are nothing compared to what we’ve seen on our earthly crafts, as one missile goes forward while the second is fired from the side of the orb (barely visible because of chemtrail cloud).
The above video reveals an unusual behavior of a UFO or bright orb as it was called, shooting at something found into the chemtrails. Before it performs this action, the orb speeds up for a brief amount of time before suddenly slowing down. A second shot coming from its left side is visible, thus exposing an otherworldly shooting system. After the firing is over, bizarre white residue falls from the sky, indicating that the orb hit its target, whatever that was.
As Mr. Crow stated in the video, the orbs could be either controlled by someone or they could possess an independent will and act on their own, as if they were programmed:
At this point, I can safely say these are intelligent things or they are being intelligently controlled. It seems to me that they are probably not with the chem planes, they are not on the same mission as the chem planes, otherwise why would they be shooting things? That’s just my guess, nothing more!
The mysterious orbs have a few things in common: they pulsate, merging from a big ball of light to an almost invisible dot on the sky, they perform maneuvers defying the laws of physics and after they accomplish the mission (whatever that may be), they fly up until they go out of sight. Could the peculiar flying orbs be part of a secret military or governmental project? Are they being controlled by someone or do they act as programmed?
As far as we are concerned, these bright orbs might be artificially intelligent (AI) devices because of the advanced features they seem to possess. After further analysis, they are believed to be about 9-feet wide. The strange devices can be seen at night performing strange rituals at high altitude even without special equipment.
Reports referring to these peculiar sightings appeared from early 2000s, this way excluding any drone possibilities. When thinking about a military jet or helicopter scenario, the sparkling orbs contradicts this theory through their extended maneuverability and newly discovered circular shooting system.
The presented case offers great insight into the UFO phenomenon, as it clearly shows that something really strange is happening above us. Could this mean that planet Earth is home to an alien base, or does it point towards a mothership hypothesis? Are we humans part of a much bigger picture, with aliens, AI and our governments on the same part of the bargain?
Whatever the case, until further evidence we can only take a wild guess at what these things are and what their purpose might be, but in order to better understand this phenomenon and to see how real it is, the video below will show more disclosing UFO activity. A Maiden Gully woman saw two strange objects objects hovering above Bendigo at around midday yesterday.
“They looked like space ships to me,” Cathie Simpson said.
LENTICULAR CLOUDS: Caught Cathie Simpson's attention in Lockwood yesterday due to their strange, space-ship like shape.
The office manager was leaving work at about 12:45pm when they caught her attention and she snapped a picture on her iPhone to discover what they were.
The answer: lenticular clouds. Stationary, lens-shaped clouds which form in the troposphere, normally in perpendicular alignment to the wind direction.
“Basically, they're formed when air is lifted over ranges – typically by stronger winds – and a wave is formed in the flow,” Bureau of Meteorology forecaster Stephen King said.
“The clouds then tend to form in the peaks of these waves.
“They were also visible around the Melbourne area.”
Because of their shape, lenticular clouds are sometimes cited as explanations for UFO sightings.

Aliens Are Always Relevant
While at breakfast with my friend earlier this week, our conversation quickly turned extraterrestrial. Blame the recent blow up in the news about the bizarre missile sightings in Los Angeles and Houston, or maybe the endless “X-Files” memes and screenshots that douse our Tumblr dashboards — but, in general, aliens and space travel are brought up pretty much daily. This time, however, there was an added level of gravity to the typically-silly subject.
“Think about it. What if aliens actually did land on Earth? Like… What do we do? Are humans ready for that?” We asked each other, eyes bugging out and images of aliens chilling poolside with us flipping through our minds.
With these pop culture references in a way normalizing the existence of life outside of Earth, most of us have become so entertained by the fantasy of an invasion, even forgetting just how scary the actualization of that hypothetical would be.
Alien fixation is not a recent pop culture phenomenon. Mankind is peppered with documentation of strange UFO sightings (taking the acronym of “unidentified flying object” in its most literal context). There’s Roman writer Julius Obsequens’s description of “burning globes” and “round shields” in A.D. 393, the flying “fire-breathing dragons” in China A.D. 747; let’s not even get started on all of the Stonehenge, Great Pyramid and Easter Island Head conspiracies. Point being, there’s an entire human history of weird shit in the sky and people marveling at them with skepticism.
And now, it goes beyond the realm of ancient sightings — astrophysics has hopped on board the “are aliens real?” bandwagon. Frank Drake developed an equation in 1961 that puts, in numerical terms, the estimation of communicative extraterrestrial life in the Milky Way. It measures the number of planets with detectable signs of life, the number of stars observed, the fraction of stars that are quiet, the fraction of stars with rocky planets in the habitable zone, the fraction of those planets that can be observed, the fraction that have life, and the fraction on which life forms reveal their existence by sending signals into space. Taking into account just how massive the Milky Way is, the question turns from “will we come into contact with aliens?” to “how have we not contacted any yet?”
We playfully raise our eyebrows at “missiles” on a Saturday night and tune in every episode to ridicule the pseudoscience behind “Ancient Aliens,” transforming aliens into an aesthetically-pleasing facet of pop culture. And yet, it’s also so terrifying to think about them being real. Is this assimilation of aliens just an example of trying to quell our fears of the unknown, or a way of being in denial of how real they just could be? All I know is, our real fear should be the lizard people that live in the earth’s core.

President Barack Obama told GQ in an interview with Bill Simmons, creator of ESPN’s “30 for 30″ documentary series, published Tuesday that his favorite conspiracy theory to come up during his administration concerned a military exercise in Texas that prompted the state’s national guard to keep a watchful eye.
When asked by Simmons what he found to be “most entertaining conspiracy theory” he had ever read about himself, Obama responded, “That military exercises we were doing in Texas were designed to begin martial law so that I could usurp the Constitution and stay in power longer. Obama was talking about Operation Jade Helm 15, which was led by U.S. Special Operations Command from July to September in Texas. It also included New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah and Colorado.
The exercise included the Army Special Forces Command, better known as Green Berets; Navy SEALs; Air Force Special Operations Command; Marine Special Operations Command; Marine Expeditionary Units; and the 82nd Airborne Division.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) directed the Texas State Guard to monitor the joint military exercise and provide updates.
“During the training operation, it is important that Texans know their safety, constitutional rights, private property rights and civil liberties will not be infringed,” Abbott wrote in April.
Speaking more generally about conspiracy theories, Obama was asked, “Have you ever said, ‘Give me the JFK-assassination files, I want to read them. Give me all the secret stuff?’”
“I gotta tell you, it’s a little disappointing,” Obama replied. “People always ask me about Roswell and the aliens and UFOs, and it turns out the stuff going on that’s top secret isn’t nearly as exciting as you expect. In this day and age, it’s not as top secret as you’d think.”
