I first met moonwalker Edgar Mitchell in late 1995, at a restaurant in the back yard of Kennedy Space Center, which was getting ready to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Apollo 14. Given how NASA types tended to treat UFO questions like warlocks and unicorns, De Void was unprepared for Mitchell’s receptivity. No, he insisted, he hadn’t seen evidence of UFOs during his off-planet adventures. “NASA at that time was so sure there were no such things, there was no discussion of it." But he added this: "I would say, however, that if there was knowledge of ET contact existing within the government, and we were sent into space blind and dumb to such information, I think it is a case of criminal culpability."
Criminal culpability. Whoa. Thus began a long conversation with one of the old astronaut corps’ unique thinkers. This was a guy who, after admitting he conducted ESP experiments on the moon in 1971, took a lot of crap from colleagues – and he didn’t care. He went onto formalize his curiosity about human consciousness by founding the Institute of Noetic Sciences, which went on to publish papers on everything from meditation to the “Physical effects of collective attention at Burning Man 2013.”
"There seems to be more to the universe than random, chaotic, purposeless movement of a collection of molecular particles." -- Dr. Edgar Mitchell /CREDIT: collectspace.com
Anyhow, the former Navy captain rolled his own tobacco that night, back when you could still smoke indoors, and he talked about one of his even more unusual intrigues. A year or so earlier, during Air Force efforts to resolve General Accounting Office questions aboutmissing records related to the 1947 Roswell controversy, USAF Secretary Sheila Widnall had granted amnesty to potential whistleblowers who might produce leads, but by that time the major players were dead. One year after that, without naming names, Mitchell said he was in discussions with former military or government operatives who wanted to extend immunity to cover even more UFO insiders.
“The purpose of the meeting was not to convince anybody else of their stories,” he said, “but to get people released from their security oaths with regard to these phenomena. Given who they were, and their credentials, I have to tell you, it pushed my confidence level up five notches.” Mitchell said he was shaken by what he was learning. “I am convinced there is a small body of valid (UFO) information, and that there is a body of information ten times as big that is total disinformation put out by the sources to confuse the whole issue.” He described the setup as “a body of semi- or quasi-private organization” operating with black-budget federal funding. “And nobody knows what goes into black budgets. The prime requisite is security first and everything else second.”
Without more details, Mitchell’s allegations sounded like something Fox Mulder’s scriptwriters could’ve hatched without really trying. We now know that the sixth man on the moon had, in 1995, begun huddling with “Ambassador to the Universe” Disclosure guru Steven Greer, whose ET outreach tuition now begins at $2,500 a pop. The Mitchell-Greer bond fell apart when Greer began using Mitchell’s name as a witness to promote his Disclosure initiative. Mitchell, in fact, had no first-hand knowledge of Greer’s alleged cloak-and-dagger scenario, and he charged Greer with “overreach(ing) his data continuously.”
But in 2008 – and once again, without naming names – Mitchell stoked the embers when he told CNN’s Larry King he had met a high-level Pentagon official pooh-bah who told Mitchell that he – the pooh-bah official – couldn’t get his hands on classified UFO documents because he lacked the proper security clearance. But that was a story Greer had been repeating for years. And that official was Rear Adm. Thomas R. Wilson, former Defense Intelligence Agency director and – at the time of his meeting with Mitchell in 1997 – director of intelligence for the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
So De Void got on the horn to Wilson, whose golden parachute had made for a soft-retirement landing with a defense contractor in Minnesota. Wilson definitely remembered Mitchell asking him about pursuing UFO leads. But Wilson also said he had all the security passes he needed. “What is true is that I met with them,” Wilson told De Void in a phoner. “What is not true is that I was denied access to this material, because I didn’t pursue it. I may have left it open with them, but it was not especially compelling, not compelling enough to waste my staff’s time to go looking for it.”
Mitchell told De Void he was “shocked” by Wilson’s answer. Ever the gentleman, however, Mitchell declined to argue: “I do not wish to engage him on this matter.” For his part, Greer stood by his Wilson story in an email: “I was there and I know what he said. I was also informed prior to the meeting that, after sending him a secret document with UFO-related code names and numbers, that he located one of the compartments but was specifically denied access to the operation.” And that was that.
But so earnestly did Mitchell want to get to the bottom of the mystery that he traveled to Mexico City for the unveiling of what would be the biggest UFO fiasco of 2015 – the Roswell space alien cadaver pix, which were being hyped as a game-changer. Within days, the images were discovered to be Kodak slides of a Native American mummy. De Void didn’t attempt to contact the Apollo veteran for reaction after that. But living in fear of making mistakes would’ve been an untenable prospect for one of only a dozen men to leave bootprints on another world.
“The desire to live life to its fullest, to acquire more knowledge, to abandon the economic treadmill,” he wrote in his autobiography The Way of the Explorer, “are all typical reactions to these experiences in altered states of consciousness. The previous fear of death is typically quelled. If the individual generally remains thereafter in the existential state of awareness, the deep internal feeling of eternity is quite profound and unshakable.” After literally expanding the perimeters of human history, what could possibly be intimidating after that? Name-calling?
So bon voyage, Dr. Mitchell. And here’s hoping that your greatest wish for those who determine our fates will someday come to pass: “From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say ‘Look at that, you son of a bitch.’”
NASA Europa Mission May Not Launch Until Late 2020s
NASA Europa Mission May Not Launch Until Late 2020s
By Mike Wall, Space.com Senior Writer
NASA's anticipated mission to the potentially life-supporting Jupiter moon Europa may not get off the ground until the late 2020s, agency officials say.
Last year, Congress granted NASA $175 million to continue developing its Europa mission, which will perform dozens of flybys to gauge the life-hosting potential of the icy moon's huge subsurface ocean.
In that allocation, Congress declared that NASA must have the Europa mission ready to launch by 2022. But NASA's fiscal year 2017 budget request, which was released Tuesday (Feb. 9), includes just $49.6 million for the Europa effort — a level that, when combined with predicted funding in the coming years, "supports a Europa mission launch in the late 2020s," NASA chief financial officer David Radzanowski said during a news conference Tuesday. [Europa May Harbor Simple Life-Forms (Video)]
Getting the Europa flyby spacecraft ready to launch by 2022 would probably require a 2017 investment of about $194 million (out of a total NASA budget request of $19.03 billion), Radzanowski said. The space agency has provided this estimate to Congress, he added.
"Within our $19 billion request, to find an additional $150 million — whether within the science portfolio or abroad — we felt would upset the balance of the overall portfolio," Radzanowski said. "So we do not think it's prudent to support a 2022 launch at the funding level requested."
NASA planned mission to search for life on Jupiter’s moon Europa
Scientists regard Europa as one of the solar system's best bets to host life beyond Earth. The moon's vast ocean — which harbors more water than all of Earth's seas combined — is in contact with Europa's rocky mantle, making possible all sorts of interesting chemical reactions, researchers say.
So astrobiologists are eager to explore Europa — and they're not the only ones. Congress shares this enthusiasm, in large part because of John Culberson (R-TX), who chairs the House of Representatives' Appropriations Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies, and has a longstanding interest in the search for alien life.
Indeed, in the 2016 budget deal, Congress directed NASA to make its Europa mission more ambitious, ordering the agency to add a component that would actually touch down on the icy moon. The deal also stipulated that NASA use the agency's in-development Space Launch System (SLS) megarocket, as opposed to a currently available booster. (Launching atop the powerful SLS would cut travel time to Europa considerably.)
NASA is still assessing how it can incorporate these directives, and how doing so would change the Europa mission's pricetag, Radzanowski said. (The flyby-only version, which would conduct 45 close encounters with Europa from Jupiter orbit over 2.5 years or so, is estimated to cost about $2.1 billion.)
It's too soon to know exactly what's going to happen with the Europa mission, which is still in the early-development phase. For example, Congress may end up giving NASA far more for the project than the $49.6 million it requested this year, bringing a 2022 liftoff back into the realm of possibility.
In fact, that will probably happen, if precedent is any indication. NASA didn't ask for any Europa-mission funding in 2013 or 2014 but ended up getting more than $120 million for those two years combined. And in 2015 and 2016, NASA requested a total of $45 million for the Europa project, and Congress allocated $275 million.
STILL DON’T BELIEVE IN ALIEN LIFE? YOU NEED TO READ THIS
STILL DON’T BELIEVE IN ALIEN LIFE? YOU NEED TO READ THIS
Whatever word we put to it – Source, God, The Universe, the under lying fabric that makes up all-that-is – IS… ever-evolving, infinite creation. These fundamental, base structures of geometries are what make up our universes, atoms, a blade of grass and our very consciousness. It is infinite expression, much of which transcends our perception of what is real – it exists outside of 3D concept.
Now, fractal this back down to your life. You and I and everything are fundamentally made up of the same geometries of creation. Something like an alien, a conscious being that exists outside of time, a fairy or even a thought, idea or concept are, at their core, a different expression of the same energy.
So, straight up, scientific, hard logic minds need to understand that:
“Seeing is believing” is not how it works.
Believing allows you to see.
Physicality is a product of the mind. Consciousness is something we are just beginning to understand scientifically, yet it
is something to be understood intuitively – that is the intelligence of our heart
Doing the introspective, emotional work alongside actually researching, discerning and gathering data objectively – brings you to the truth. It is not anyone’s truth, it is obvious to all who look. A simple expression of energy like a Grey Alien who interacts on our planet is not an opinion – it’s a regular occurrence.
We are collectively coming to the end of a cycle where ideas of tradition, cultural norms and social constructs have limited our potential. We are so much more than a physical vessel, and when you really feel that at your core, no scientific study or tangible proof is needed, it’s just as real as anything.
The infinite universe exists outside of our container of what we consider real, so for the last time:
Everything exists, creation is infinite: Aliens exist and have been interacting on our planet for some time now. There’s many that want to openly contact us but we are not collectively ready.
Discern what resonates with you and what doesn’t; this is not about convincing.
See what’s really going on.
Former CIA Agent Reveals Truth on his Deathbed
Canadian Minister of Defense on the Interaction with Extraterrestrials
Paul Hellyer again on RT explaining like a boss, when asked”Why do you say UFO are as real as the airplanes flying over our heads.” He replies with“Because I KNOW that they are, in fact, they’ve been visiting our planet for thousands of years.” He goes on to say:
“There’s been a lot more activity in the past two decades, especially since we invented the atomic bomb. They are very concerned about that and if we will use it again, because the whole cosmos is a unity and it affects not just us but other people in the cosmos. They’re very much afraid that we might start using atomic weapons again and this would be very bad for us, and them also.”
“There is a federation of these people, and they have rules, one of them is that they don’t interfere with our affairs unless they are invited. They have accepted the fact that this is our planet, and we have the right to run it but they are very concerned, they don’t think that we are good stewards of our planet. We are ruining our planet, we’re doing all sorts of things that we shouldn’t be doing, and they don’t like that. They’ve made it clear, and they have given us a warning.”
A citizens hearing on UFO disclosure was held at the National Press Club in Washing, DC. A number of professors, historians, scientists, high ranking political and military personnel gathered April 29th to May 3rd to elaborate on the ongoing reality of extraterrestrial life. Here are the thoughts of the congress men and women who open mindedly understood the information on the existence of aliens.
A wiki leaks cable reporting the U.S. Ambassador calling on Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloev, the Dushanbe Mayor at his parliamentary office. They began what was said to be a lengthy discourse which ended in the Mayor saying:
“We know there is life on other planets, but we must make peace here first.”
Okay and for you who like to dig deep, see all the sides and take in all the information, this video is worth a watch. The point isn’t to immediately make decisions, jump to conclusions or even take everything as a truth.
When you get down to it, contradicting ideas, impossible thoughts and everythingalready exist, so the information in this video is as only as “out there” as you deem it to be. You are a creator, what you deem anything to be, it is to you.

10 Reasons Why Humans May Not Have Come From Earth
10 Reasons Why Humans May Not Have Come From Earth
You know the phrase: Men are from Mars, women are from Venus … but what if we’re all from Alpha Centauri?
An American ecologist by the name of Dr Ellis Silver thinks that he might have spotted a few telltale signs that humans did not originate from Earth, and that we’re actually beings from another world.
There is a pretty well-accepted theory out there that organic matter may have been delivered to planet Earth by meteors, perhaps as single-celled organisms or just as the building blocks of life such as amino acids.
But Dr. Silver goes one step further: That we arrived as fully formed, complex organisms, between 60,000 and 200,000 years ago. Perhaps we interbred with Neanderthals, perhaps we’re just straight up aliens, all Silver knows is that there are some things about our physiology that just doesn’t add up.
Citing everything from sunburn to childbirth in his book Humans are not from Earth: a scientific evaluation of the evidence, Dr. Ellis Silver points out all of the things that seem to contradict the idea that we evolved over millions of years in our earthly environment. Who knows, perhaps Earth is even some kind of prison colony, and we’ve been sent to this little galactic backwater to learn our lesson whilst the rest of the universe zooms about in lightships?
Granted, these theories should probably be taken with a healthy pinch of salt, but what does the venerable Dr. Silver have to say about the possibility that we’re all just spacemen?
11. Bad Backs
If we evolved on this planet, why does just standing up on it hurt us?
Silver argues that the gravity on our home planet must’ve been stronger, and so we’re progressively growing taller and taller with each generation, causing us to have bad backs.
It is thought, in the wider scientific community, that on planets with stronger gravity, human-like life forms would evolve to be much shorter and stockier to deal with the extra gravity bringing them down.
When that gravity isn’t there, we apparently start to grow like forced rhubarb, ending up so tall and willowy that our own skeletons can’t support us very well.
There could also be a counter argument that the gravitational pull on our home planet is, in fact, weaker, and the fact that our bodies will slowly bow to the pressure of Earth’s gravity over our lifetimes is proof that we evolved to deal with weaker gravity.
As we grow older, we hunch over and even shrink, gravity slowly wears us down, starting with a crick in the neck and ending with a hunchback.
Silver also wonders about the possibility that the food on this planet is more nutritious than on our home planet, causing a growth spurt.
If we spent all our time back home chewing on tough, woody vegetation (yum), then were sudden plunged into a world of strawberries and fillet steak, it’s possible that all of those abundant nutrients made us shoot up like a 14-year-old boy who lives on McDonalds and Red Bull.
10. Childbirth
In further expanding his argument, Silver points to the excessive nutrition on earth and a possible cause for the difficulties of human childbirth.
The fact that humans have to spend hours screaming in pain to bring new life into the world, whereas the rest of the animal kingdom can drop a sprog in their sleep, has long puzzled anthropologists. Why is it such an ordeal for us to have kiddies when it’s literally our only biological purpose?
Silver thinks that the high levels of nutrition that we get could cause our babies to grow far bigger in utero than our bodies are designed to cope with.
Indeed, it is a well-known phenomenon that people with diabetes have much larger than average babies due to the high sugar levels in their blood – this demonstrates that there is, in fact, a clear link between high nutrition and baby size.
Whether or not that means that diabetics are even more alien-y aliens than us regular aliens, Dr. Silver doesn’t specify.
Perhaps this is also a result of our newer, willowy frames (thanks to the lack of gravity, remember?). Perhaps, back on our own planet, there are a load of stocky, troll-like beings happily squeezing babies out of their wide, childbearing hips left, right and centre.
9. The Sun
Ahh, it’s that classic summer scene. The moment there’s a little bit of sun, every spare bit of grass, beach or garden is littered with people turning gradually pinker.
But why is that? Why does our own sun do us so much harm?
This is one of Ellis Silver’s arguments for our alien origins. Humans will easily burn through sun exposure, whereas many creatures won’t.
Humans, in contrast with other species, cannot sunbathe for more than short periods at a time without getting sunburned. This indicates that the human body is not effectively adapted to constant exposure to our sun, which is a funny thing for a species that have no protective layer of fur.
Our own sun, from which all life on Earth draws its energy in one way or another, will literally give us cancer if we stay out in it too long, other creatures have evolved so that this doesn’t happen. A lizard, for example, can sit out all day and not get so much as a tan line and some corals even produce their own SPF to protect themselves.
Silver thinks that this is because we evolved with a much weaker sun, or perhaps we originated on a planet with lots of cloud cover.
Another thing that he highlights as odd is the fact that humans seem to suffer from seasonal mental disorders such as Seasonal Affective Disorder. Other animals migrate, hibernate or just tough it out when it comes to surviving an Earth winter, but humans just can’t seem to hack it.
We can’t cope with a lot of sun, we can’t cope with a lack of sun – why are we so ill-suited to the comings and goings of the seasons if we’ve spent millions of years evolving on this planet?
8. We Look So Different
Right, so what’s the deal with this bipedal thing? How come everything else on the planet has remained perfectly happy with a low centre of gravity and sturdy base, whereas we wobble around on two legs?
Perhaps it’s just because we’re looking at it from the inside, but you have to admit that we tend to stick out a bit. Two legs, extremely fine coat, hair growing out of odd places, opposable thumbs, huge heads, big, flat feet – we look much more like aliens than natives.
Silver points to our lack pf body hair as a particularly odd feature of humans. It is necessary for humans to wrap themselves in the furs of other animals, just to stop ourselves freezing to death, even on the hot African plains where we are supposed to have evolved.
The theory is that perhaps on our home planet, the temperature didn’t fluctuate so much between night and day and at different latitudes. Possible reasons for this could be a thicker cloud layer that insulates the planet (a bit like on Venus), a binary star system (so that the sun effectively never sets), or even that the crust of the planet is much thinner, allowing the heat from the molten core to come up through the ground.
As a weird side note: Our relatively high levels of subcutaneous fat and almost total hairlessness, as well as our bipedalism, would actually make us excellent swimmers. Maybe we were some kind of race of semi-aquatic dolphin people on our home planet.
7. We’re Too Advanced
The most conspicuously different feature of the human race, is just how much more advanced we are when compared to the rest of life on Earth.
Why are we so far ahead of every other animal? It sounds like classic human arrogance, but for all our talk about how intelligent dolphins are because they can recognise themselves in a mirror – they didn’t invent the bloody mirror, did they?
Okay, how about if we argue that inventing things like wheels and mirrors and social media executives isn’t necessarily an indicator of intelligence? It’s still drastically different to what everything else on the planet is doing.
Why are we such outcasts from the natural world? It could be because it’s not our natural world.
If we arrived on a primitive Earth with a head start, it could explain why we appear to be leaps and bounds ahead of every other species. Dr. Silvers also cites that fact that the “missing link” that would connect us with our common ape ancestors is still, er, missing (it’s not, but never mind).
We could have come from a planet where a number of species were similarly advanced – perhaps that’s even the reason we left, to go and rule elsewhere.
It all seemed to happen at once too. Evolutionarily speaking it took us fricking ages to get the hang of sharpened rocks, then, all of a sudden, we invented agriculture, writing, language, art, electricity, machinery, chemistry, quantum physics and pretty much everything else around us today. What the hell happened?
6. We Can’t Sleep
One of Silver’s arguments is that the human circadian rhythm is out of whack with the actual day-night cycle on Earth.
The circadian rhythm is the thing that regulates your sleeping and eating patterns. It means that you’re tired at night and awake in the morning and is the reason why you feel jet-lagged after a long haul flight. As the Earth’s day and night cycle lasts for around 24 hours (not including leap seconds because come on), it would make sense for our circadian rhythm to also be on a 24 hour cycle, but it’s not.
Dr. Silver uses the argument that the human circadian rhythm is on a 25-hour cycle, meaning that it makes more sense that we should have evolved on a planet with 25 hour days. Unfortunately, Silver is wrong with the 25-hour figure, but not about the fact that it doesn’t match up.
It used to be thought that our circadian rhythm was a whole hour off, turns out it’s actually anything from a quarter to half an hour off. This doesn’t seem like much until you realise that (providing you stuck to your natural circadian rhythm) it would only take you a month to potentially be 7 hours out of whack. That’s a whole night’s sleep for most people.
This means that our home planet could have been slightly bigger than Earth, in order to have longer days (although, again, it’s not quite that simple), and so this also feeds into Silver’s theory that our home planet had slightly higher gravity.
5. We Don’t Like It Here
Evolution generally means that a species adapts to its environment, but we don’t seem to want to play that game.
A big part of the theory comes down to the fact that we have altered the planet to fit us, rather than the other way around; we just can’t seem to bear living in the natural world. The fact that we have altered our environment so drastically makes it seem as though we’re just not suited to living in earth’s natural habitat.
In fact, what we’re doing appears not to be evolving, so much as terraforming.
Another of Silver’s arguments is that we’re seemingly terrible at reading our own planet. Many animals have built-in sensors for natural phenomena such as earthquakes, tsunamis and even just the ability to predict the weather, whereas we have had to intervene with our technology in order to keep up with them.
It could be that we came from a planet that is not so geologically active, meaning that there would be no benefit for us to be able to predict earthquakes.
Then, we have the fact that we can’t eat most of the food on this planet without altering it in some way. Whether it’s by cooking it, or through selective breeding, most of the food that we eat is not as nature intended it.
We’re not saying that our home planet had hamburger trees and rivers of lemonade (if it does then book us a one-way ticket to Alpha Centauri), but that fact that most animals, apart from us, are perfectly fine eating grass and raw zebra is a bit weird.
4. Rapid Overpopulation
Humans are spreading, and they’re spreading fast.
As of 2015, there are over seven billion of us crammed onto this tiny little planet and the number is always going up. Not exactly a balanced eco-system.
It’s almost as though we’re an invasive species.
What happens when you introduce a new species into an environment that they did not evolve in? A lot of the time, they take over.
This is due to the fact that they do not have any natural predators and the local fauna are not equipped to defend themselves against them. This means that the non-native species has free reign to hunt, eat and breed, with the potential to decimate the local environment.
This does sound an awful lot like how we interact with the natural world. We’re so far up the food chain, that we don’t even feature as the apex predator in it, we actually exist outside of earth’s eco-system. It does seem to scream foreign species.
Even with other invasive species, the ecosystem will ofetn find a way to restore istelf back to normality. With “normal” imbalances in nature, that balance can be quickly restored as the food runs out, and the invading species will quickly begin to reduce in number again. This doesn’t appear to have happened to humans so far.
Perhaps, when the resources finally do run out, we’ll go the way of many other species and simply become one rogue algea bloom in the long natural history of the planet.
3. A Prison Planet?
One of Dr. Silver’s slightly more esoteric theories is that the Earth may actually be a prison colony for a society of galactic beings.
It is apparently our naturally violent, vengeful, lustful, criminal natures that makes him think this. The fact that you don’t often observe this kind of behaviour in the animal kingdom makes Silver think that it could well be because these are traits that come from a completely different race of people.
The theory is that we could have had our memories wiped and been dumped in a primitive backwater by a civilisation of space-faring beings as a sort of “cooling off” period, presumably after becoming too much of a menace to intergalactic society.
Perhaps they hoped that we would integrate with the natural world on a young planet and become a peaceful race of hunter-gatherers, or something.
But actually what happened is that we almost immediately wiped out the Neanderthals and set about transforming the Earth to suit our anti-social ways, so they left us here.
To be fair, given our earthbound history of shipping criminals off to somewhere out of sight and out of mind, this does sound like exactly the sort of thing we’d do if we ever became a planet-hopping race of pan-galactic beings. The question is, has it already happened?
2. So Where Did We Come From?
In order to figure out our origins, Dr. Ellis Silvers then takes us through the practicalities of colonising another planet, and he’s certainly given it a lot of thought.
So, if we presume that this ancient race of humanoids has developed the technology to travel at near light speed, they would need to originate from somewhere that can be travelled to within a human lifetime. Say, 30-ish light years away.
Silver reckons that these early settlers could well have brought frozen embryos with them to kickstart the whole breeding process, as they would have been elderly by the time they arrived (although this does sort of ruin the whole “Earth is a space prison” thing).
Dr. Silver then goes on to list his top picks for our potential homeworld, including Alpha Centauri A and B (1 lightyear), Epsilon Eridani (10.5), 61 Cygni A and B (17), Epsilon Indi (20) and Tau Ceti (22). Do let us know if one of those names stirs something primordial in you, it could be the proof we need.
The Alpha Centauri binary system eventually claims the top spot due to its proximity and the fact that it’s a binary system (remember our earlier discussion about the sun that never sets?). It would mean that, at even a fraction of the speed of light, it would still be reachable within one lifetime.
Although, fair-minded as always, Dr. Silvers also allows for the idea that a race of galactic beings could well have harnessed the use of hyperspace and wormholes in order to reach our humble little Earth from pretty much anywhere in the universe.
So that doesn’t really narrow it down.
1. An Editor’s Note
Okay, it should be said at this point that Dr. Silver’s theories should be taken with a healthy pinch of salty skepticism.
The idea of planet seeding is one that is gaining lots of interest in the scientific community and many have expressed interest in investigating Silver’s thoughts more thoroughly. Of course, there have also been those who have said that “it is possible to drive a coach and horses through several of his arguments.”
Which is also a fair point.
Silver often mistakes cause for effect and relies too heavily on the assumption that evolution is a perfect process. The idea that every mutation has to “make sense” completely is false, and the idea that evolution does not compromise is wrong. If the benefits of a particular mutation outweigh the cost, then it’s likely to stick around, warts and all.
For example, this accounts for the idea that childbirth is very difficult. In fact, it is because we essentially walk on our hind legs that our pelvises have changed shape. Luckily, the benefits of walking on two legs, thereby freeing up your hands for things like tool-making, outweigh the drawbacks of difficult and painful births (we can even use our hands to help each other give birth). This is known as the Obstetric Dilemma.
Whilst this doesn’t Silver’s theory, it does slightly weaken the “Childbirth, what’s that all about, eh? Eh?!” angle. Something that Dr Sliver relies on quite a bit.
There are quite a few holes like this in Dr. Silver’s theory. But, then again, Silver himself has said that his arguments are designed to spark open debate, and are by no means conclusive proof that we’re all aliens.
So, with that in mind, let us know what you think in the comments. Are we a bunch of hyper-evolved aliens, trapped on this godforsaken rock, or are we just a bunch of apes in shoes after all?

Nikola Tesla: Life Exists on Other Planets
Nikola Tesla: Life Exists on Other Planets
Nicola [sic] Tesla discussed communication between the earth and other planets today as if he regarded this as a feat no neater than telephoning to the cordial shop around the corner.
Tomorrow he will be 76. It will be forty-six years since he came, a shy, unheralded youth, from the Province of Lika, in Eastern Austria. But the fire of his tremendous endeavor seemed to burn as fiercely this morning as it has any time down the years in which he has established his prominent place among scientists.
Interplanetary communication is only one phase of that endeavor, he hurried to say. Annihilation of distance, he said, sums it up; annihilation of distance by transmission of energy.
Certain of Life Elsewhere. “I am in dead earnest.” He spoke quietly and carefully. “I feel certain of what I tell you.
“The transmission of energy to another planet is only a matter of engineering. I have solved the problem so well I don’t regard it as doubtful.”
He is certain, too, he said, that there are creatures on other planets whose ways are like the ways of those on this one.
“It is mathematically certain that other planets are inhabited. Every other planet has to pass through practically the same phase of existence the earth did, and life is started on them, during that favorable phase, by rays of some sun.
“It develops in the presence of moisture and heat and light in much the same manner as life does on the earth.
Interplanetary Forum. “We know that light propagates in straight lines, and consequently our perceptions of the forms through the images projected on the retina must be true.
“Therefore, it should not be hard to establish intelligent exchange of ideas between two planets.”
The earth, he thinks, might be the beneficiary.
“It is conceivable that there is civilization on other planets far ahead of ours. If communication were established by the earth, the consequences to human beings would be incalculable.”
Busy in Laboratory. He had been at work all day in his mid-town laboratory. Characteristically, he did not want to say much about it. As it always did, it concerns fundamentals; the application may come decades after his success in principle, as it has in radio and high-tension electricity.
“I’m giving all my time to annihilation of distance. Same as ever. To my mind that’s the most important achievement to be hoped for in the furtherance of the intellectual development of man, as well as in the promotion of his material welfare.
Radio Just a Step. “The wireless art already fulfills this in a large measure, but we must establish transmission of power in all its innumerable applications.
“This has been my life work and I hope to see its full fruition before I am gathered to my forefathers.”
Spruce and slim, with cane and gloves and a tailored air, he did not look 50 as he rose and stood by a desk on the mezzanine floor of the hotel where, a recluse among millions, he takes cover.
Longs for His Wine. About him there was none of the traditional coldness of the pure scientist. He felt, he said like a boy.
Why? Well, no coffee and no tea, for one thing. Another, he has never been married. He would be even more fit, he thinks, if they had not taken his wine away.
“Just the same I could climb a tree 100 feet tall.”

Meteorite Did NOT Kill Man in India: Experts
Meteorite Did NOT Kill Man in India: Experts
By Discovery News
It would have been a first — but it probably wasn't.
A report earlier this week suggested that a falling meteorite killed a bus driver and injured three others in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. However, scientific experts have since looked into the matter and cast serious doubt on the initial report from Indian government authorities.
"Considering that there was no prediction of a meteorite shower and there was no meteorite shower observed, this certainly is a rare phenomena if it is a meteorite," G.C. Anupama, the dean of the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, told the New York Times.
NASA scientists, meanwhile, were more definitive in disclaiming the meteorite report. They said in a statement that photographs of the 5-foot-deep, 2-foot-wide impact crater indicated a "land-based explosion" may have caused the damage.
In fact, according to the International Comet Quarterly, no meteorite-caused death has ever been confirmed. The closest report yet, according to the New York Times, was a 1908 incident in Tunguska, Siberia when a "blast" was reported entering Earth's atmosphere. The blast flattened hundreds of square miles of forest and killed two men and hundreds of reindeer. But no meteorite was recovered.
As for the supposed meteorite recovered from the scene in India, reports are hardly definitive that it is, in fact, a meteorite. According to the BBC, some reports said police recovered "small stone weighing about 10g," while others refer to a "hard, jagged object in dark blue and small enough to be held in a close hand."
Derek Sears, a meteorite and asteroid expert at Nasa's Space Science Division, saw a photograph of the rock. He told the BBC that "the image of the stone is too poor to tell anything, but I would have thought if the object killed someone we would have a large stone?"
If the falling object was not a meteorite, then what was it? Sears suggested to the BBC it could have been an object falling from an aircraft passing overhead. Others have said it could have been a bit of space junk that didn't burn up completely after passing through Earth's atmosphere.
Needless to say, the definitive explanation remains a mystery.
According to a new calculation designed to determine the habitability of a planet, the Earth only scores a little over 80%.
ONLY 82 PERCENT
The world has long been obsessed with finding extraterrestrial life. Sadly, most of the planets that we stumble across seem rather uninhabitable. Indeed, the number of worlds that we see as being “habitable” is rather low.
This makes recent findings about the Earth’s habitability rather surprising, and it seems that the universe may be more welcoming that we think.
According to a study, which is based on a new calculation that rates exoplanet habitability, our planet (the one that we live and breathe on) scores just 82 percent on the habitability index.
The Earth scores 82 percent on the habitability index. Image Credit: NASA
You see, despite the fact we are a hundred percent sure that this planet has living inhabitants, the habitability index places us a little too close to the Sun.
“Basically, where we lose some of the probability, or chance for life, is that we could be too close to the [Sun],” said astronomer Rory Barnes from the University of Washington. “We actually are kind of close to the inner edge of the habitable zone. If we spotted Earth with our current techniques, we would reasonably conclude that it could be too hot for life.”
HABITABILITY INDEX
This new calculation was developed as a way to help scientists in their search for alien life on other planets. The index was created last year based on habitability-influencing factors, such as atmospheric pressure, access to water, geology, and how much energy the world in question can absorb (or reflect) from its nearest star.
All things considered, researchers have come to the conclusion that anyone looking at Earth for possible signs of life would assume our proximity to the Sun means our planet could very well be too warm to be habitable. As a result, they may focus their attention on other nearby planets that score higher on the habitability index.
“Remember, we have to think about Earth as if we don’t know anything about it,” said Barnes. “We don’t know that it’s got oceans, and whales and things like that – imagine it’s just this thing that dims some of the light around a nearby star when it passes.”
Of course, we must also remember that alien life might have evolved on worlds that are far, far warmer than our own. As such, their “habitability index” would look very little like our own.

New Star Trek TV Series Beams Up Bryan Fuller as Co-Creator
New Star Trek TV Series Beams Up Bryan Fuller as Co-Creator
By Sarah Lewin, Staff Writer
Move over, James T. Kirk, "Star Trek" has another captain now. CBS Studios has tapped "Hannibal" creator Bryan Fuller — a veteran Trek writer — as a co-creator for its new Trek TV series launching in 2017.
Fuller has written for "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" and "Star Trek: Voyager," and brings a deep appreciation of the "Star Trek" world to the new show, according to CBS Studios representatives. The new show will air on CBS All Access, a digital streaming platform. (The first episode will air on live TV.)
"My very first experience of Star Trek is my oldest brother turning off all the lights in the house and flying his model of a D7 Class Klingon Battle Cruiser through the darkened halls," Fuller said in a statement. "Before seeing a frame of the television series, the Star Trek universe lit my imagination on fire. It is without exaggeration a dream come true to be crafting a brand new iteration of Star Trek with fellow franchise alum Alex Kurtzman and boldly going where no Star Trek series has gone before."
Kurtzman, the new show's other executive producer — who was a co-writer and producer on the recent reboot films — added his support of the new showrunner: "Bringing 'Star Trek' back to television means returning it to its roots, and for years those roots flourished under Bryan’s devoted care," Kurtzman said in the statement. "His encyclopedic knowledge of Trek canon is surpassed only by his love for Gene Roddenberry's optimistic future, a vision that continues to guide us as we explore strange new worlds."
The show will introduce new characters and follow storylines unrelated to the movies, although it will be set after the upcoming film "Star Trek Beyond."
The Legendary Thunderbirds Might Inhabit the US Even Today
The Legendary Thunderbirds Might Inhabit the US Even Today
Our planet has plenty of room left to explore, and judging by the tens of thousands of new animal species discovered each year, who knows what exotic and bizarre creatures are waiting for us out there?
Each year, between 15,000 and 18,000 new animal species are being discovered all around the globe and are classified using the latest DNA tests. As it happens, extinct or even unknown creatures are still being found on Earth. So what happens when the legendary becomes the ordinary, or better said: what happens when creatures believed to be extinct come into the picture?
North American indigenous people often sculpted totems, told tales and also sang about the great Thunderbirds. These legendary creatures were depicted as large birds, capable of creating thunderstorms with the beating of their enormous wings that measured no less than 20 feet.
They were believed to reside on desolate mountain peaks and were the servants of the Great Spirit of the World. While these creatures were usually venerated, the indigenous people feared them because of their wrath and most of the time they were careful not to cross the Thunderbird’s path.
In the modern world, the Thunderbirds are associated with Pteranodon, a genus of Pterosaurs that included some of the largest known flying reptiles. Fossilized remains were discovered mostly in North America, more precisely in present day Kansas, Alabama, Nebraska, Wyoming and South Dakota.
But what’s the point if these timeworn birds have gone extinct millions of years ago? Well, as a matter of fact, they haven’t. For more than 200 years, inhabitants of the areas mentioned above have reported several incidents involving enormous birds with lizard-like features, very much alike the extinct Pterosaurs.
A bizarre photograph has surfaced in the 1950s that caused quite a stir in the U.S. It revealed an unknown event from the American Civil War in 1864 – Near the city of Vicksburg, a huge bird distinct from any known species at that time, was standing under the feet of six American soldiers equipped with rifled muskets.
It had a remarkable wing span, along with a prolonged beak and an unfamiliar head. Is it possible that this creature was indeed one of the famous Thunderbirds depicted by the American indigenous people?
Another report from July 25, 1977, highlighted an incident involving three children from Lawndale, Illinois. They told how two giant birds chased them until one of them grabbed their ten-year-old friend Marlon Lowe. The bird had long legs with distinguishable claws, and it managed to get hold of the boy and lift him up about two feet of the ground before he was released as a result of his struggle.
The local authorities were informed about this incident but didn’t pay too much attention until four-fingers footprints were discovered about half a mile from the area where the boys were chased.
Since our planet has a lot of unknown and inaccessible places, we find it likely that these creatures exist even today. We might consider the hypothesis of it going extinct, but because of its predatory features and imposing proportions, it’s hard to believe that it did not manage to survive.
Even though no recent reports of such birds have surfaced, the known cases along with a symbolism rooted into the Native American culture might prove that these legendary birds have surpassed the test of time and managed to preserve their species for millions of years.
If they are to be found remains once again an issue of time, but with all the technological progress this century, it’s likely that someday the magnificent Thunderbirds will be discovered, and hopefully the witnesses will live to tell about it.

Whether you love building model observatories or helping the Avengers save the universe, there's a Lego set that caters to your needs.
Recently, the brick-building giant released three new skywatching and space sets, which include a bunch of awesome features.
You can find the first, an observatory, in Lego's "Lakeside Lodge" ($29.99), a 3-in-1 set. The lodge version includes a campfire, balcony, stove, table, moose, frog and minifigure. It can be rebuilt into an observatory or a small cabin.
Fans of the Lego "Friends" line of products have a new addition as well: "Olivia's Exploration Car" ($14.99). Olivia and her robot, Zobo, plan to take their SUV to an observatory platform that is complete with a turning platform, telescope and sky map. The sky map even includes a magnifying glass for Olivia to get a better look at constellations when aiming the telescope.
Or if superheroes are more your style, you can ride along on the Avengers' "Avenjet Space Mission" ($59.99). An Avenjet is a vertical takeoff and landing shuttle that Iron Man created for the superhero team's field missions, according to the Marvel Avengers Wiki.
The mission includes three Avengers (Captain Marvel, Captain America and Iron Man) pitted against Thanos and Hyperion. Comics Alliance points out that Hyperion is usually a good guy,"but there are a few versions of that guy floating around the multiverse, so you can never be too sure. I guess?"
The products are available from the Lego website as well as stores where Lego is usually sold.
Project Blue Book: 130,000 pages of US Air Force's UFO files declassified, hits the web
Project Blue Book: 130,000 pages of US Air Force's UFO files declassified, hits the web
The truth is out there — and it's now on the web.
The fabled Project Blue Book, the Air Force's files on UFO sightings and investigations, have tantalized and frustrated extraterrestrial enthusiasts for decades. But this week, nearly 130,000 pages of declassified UFO records — a trove that would make Agent Fox Mulder's mouth water — hit the web.
UFO enthusiast John Greenewald has spent nearly two decades filing Freedom of Information Act requests for the government's files on UFOs and other phenomena. On Jan. 12, Greenewald posted the Blue Book files — as well as files on Blue Book's 1940s-era predecessors, Project Sign and Project Grudge — on his online database, The Black Vault.
Project Blue Book was based at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. Between 1947 and 1969, the Air Force recorded 12,618 sightings of strange phenomena -- 701 of which remain "unidentified."
According to a 1985 fact sheet from Wright-Patterson, posted online by the National Archives, the Air Force decided to discontinue UFO investigations after concluding that "no UFO reported, investigated and evaluated by the Air Force has ever given any indication of threat to our national security [and] there has been no evidence indicating that sightings categorized as 'unidentified' are extraterrestrial vehicles." Wright-Patterson also said the Air Force has not seen any evidence suggesting the sightings "represent technological developments or principles beyond the range of present-day scientific knowledge."
Skeptics smelled a whitewash. The private and now-defunct National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena, for example, charged throughout the 1960s that the federal government was covering up what it knew about UFOs and pushed for congressional hearings.
The National Archives has made these files available to public on microfilm in its Washington headquarters. Parts of the Project Blue Book files have previously been posted online in various locations, Greenewald said. But his webpage is the first time the complete files have been posted in PDF form in a searchable database, he said.
The more than 10,000 cases include a 1950 incident at Holloman Air Force Base in Alamogordo, New Mexico, where an Air Force Office of Special Investigations agent reported a star-like craft that shifted from a bright white color to red and green as it moved erratically in several directions.
And in 1965, Air Force Maj. Jack Bond, the deputy for reconnaissance at the Directorate of Advanced Recon Planning, reported seeing an unidentified object moving in a sine wave pattern while on a flight out of Wright-Patterson. Bond said the object strongly reflected the sunlight as it rose and appeared gray as it descended. It rose and fell three times at varying speeds, before leveling off and accelerating away at more than 600 knots.
The investigator dismissed Bond's observation as a mirage caused by the sun, due to the motion of Bond's plane and the hazy atmospheric conditions.
One thing you won't find online are records related to the alleged 1947 Roswell, New Mexico, incident, where conspiracy theorists maintain the military recovered a crashed alien spacecraft and its occupants.
But Roswell does pop up several times in the files. There are several blurry photographs of lights in the sky taken at Roswell in 1949, for example. And in 1950, airmen there spotted a circular object 10 feet in diameter with a bluish-white color going fast at 8,000 feet and taking a sharp turn to the right.
The National Archives maintains it "has been unable to locate any documentation among the Project BLUE BOOK records which discuss the 1947 incident in Roswell, New Mexico."
But that is just what they would say, wouldn't they?
It has been claimed that CIA killed former US President John F Kennedy after requiring the agency to release top-secret UFO files.
Kennedy was shot dead while in an open-topped car travelling on November 22, 1963, through the centre of Dallas, Texas.
The incident brought shockwaves not just in the US but also around the world and has created dozens of conspiracy theories.
However, UFO experts recently shared perhaps the most astonishing claim to date. They said that the president made a letter and sent it to the CIA head ten days before he was assassinated.
They further revealed that the president also made a visit to NASA’s base at Cape Canaveral in Florida just four days after he sent the memo.
In the letter, JFK seemingly asks the CIA to give details about everything it knows about UFO sightings.
The letter specifically asks a review of the high threat cases. It stresses the important to have a clear distinction between the knowns and unknowns. It also proposes an arrangement of the program of data sharing with NASA where unknowns are a factor. The president also apparently sent a letter to NASA requesting the agency to cooperate with the Soviets on UFO issues.
UFO conspiracy theorists believe that JFK was worried that the Soviets could mistakenly identify UFOs over Russia as spy planes. They also think that presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who makes a promise to release all UFO files to the public if she wins, does not know it yet, but she doesn’t have the power to release such information. They add that CIA would kill Hillary before she could do it, just like JFK. They believe that Hillary will be too scared to release the truth.
FEBURARY 12, 2016 …………………. CITRUS HEIGHTS CALIFORNIA
I was at my house in Citrus Heights moving my car for my brother-in-law to go to work . I observed an object that was unusually bright it to the east in the sky . I pointed it out to my brother-in-law and asked him what he thought it was . I observed it slowly ascending into the sky 40 degrees from the horizon . This was about 545 in the morning , I returned inside to get the telescope that we have . I proceeded to set up the telescope outside my front door and view the object through the lens. I observed an object resembling an eye that was slightly pulsating and moving slowly . t was yellowish green in color and had a circle in the middle that was black with three line like things separating it into three pieces. I was not sure what the object could’ve been initially so I proceeded to take pictures through the lens of the telescope thus documenting my observation. I thought it was very strange and something I’ve never seen before I asked several friends and family if they had ever observed anything that was similar they had not . I lost sight of the object because the sun finally rose and the light of secured anything else to be seen . To my knowledge it never stopped moving upwards it was extremely slow and not the space station . See pictures of follows .

Zoals in Gorinchem:
Of in Groningen:
