Phoenix — One night I was outside talking to my dad on the phone as we were talking a bright pulsating light caught my eye on January 31, 2016! I began to walk towards it, as I got closer, I stopped as a truck came around the corner near the dumpsters and it stopped as well! I stood there staring at this massive craft! As it made no noise at all!! The red light continued to pulsating! I was stuck! I couldn’t move my feet! My dad was still on the phone talking! All of a sudden, I was able to move my feet! I told my dad and ran into the house to get my friend!! I screamed and told her that she needed to see this! I got her to come outside with me and the craft was leaving. She yelled, “Let’s go, I’m going in the house and you should too!! She left and I watched it go behind the high trees still seeing the white lights flashing that went steady! I ran in the house and sat down in amazement at what just happened. I didn’t feel threatened while being stuck in place! But that night the dreams started coming and I woke up crying and screaming! I remember being terrified. I know something happened! I haven’t been the same since these things have taken place! I have markings on my body and what looks like 3 perfect ice cream scoop marks! California Lights
Citrus Heights — I was at my house an observed an object that was unusually bright in the eastern sky on January 12, 2016. I pointed it out to my brother-in-law and asked him what he thought it was. I observed it slowly ascending about 5:45 AM. I got my telescope and viewed the object through the lens. I observed an object resembling an eye that was slightly pulsating and moving slowly. It was yellowish green in color and had a circle in the middle that was black with three lines like things separating it into three pieces. I was not sure what the object could’ve been, so I proceeded to take pictures through the telescope thus documenting my observation. I thought it was very strange and something I’ve never seen before. I asked several people if they had ever observed anything similar, they had not. I lost sight of the object because the sun finally rose and it was moving upwards slowly. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Colorado Disc
Sterling — I was driving home to Eckley, traveling south on the evening of September 27, 2015. It was dark out, and I noticed a low glowing spherical object to the east of me. It was too low to be a star or planet and appeared to be following me. It would appear to be closer then farther away. I tried to take a picture with my cell phone, but my cell phone was dead. I traveled over 50 miles to my home and it was still there to the east, though smaller and farther away. So, I took a picture with my Cannon Camera. There was a full moon out later that night and I took some pictures of the moon as well. The spherical glowing object was gone when I took pictures of the full moon. Later when I zoomed in on the glowing object in my photo, the perimeter appears odd and seems to emit some distance from the perimeter. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Florida Orb
Miami– I was driving on the Bird Road Street when suddenly this object caught my attention on January 26, 2016.
It was hovering and shining very strong, it stayed for about 4 minutes and started to disappear in about 15 seconds.
It made a sideways move and it started to get thinner and thinner until it disappeared. I caught this because I always pay attention to the skies and this is not my first time in events like this. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Louisiana Triangle
Delta shaped craft seen going from south to north in a straight line. It had a white light in front, steady white light on both left and right side with blinking red light in the center. A deep roaring sound was made but not like the sound of a jet noise. It was 8:45 PM, and its estimated altitude was 2000 feet, moving at steady speed. The craft appeared to be very large with lights that illuminated the triangle shape of craft. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Nevada Policeman Spots Alien Triangle Over the Casinos
Las Vegas — While driving south on 95S, I saw a triangle with an inverted bottom, outlined in chasing white lights hovering/bobbing above Santa Fe Casino on January 5, 2016. I was traveling to work between 9:25 pm and 9:45 pm and passed the Santa Fe Casino and right above it, I witnessed a hovering silent triangle. It may be some type of military stealth flying object. White was the dominant color of its lights. There could have been other colors as well.
The lights were chasing around in the V shape of the object that I was seeing. The bottom was inverted to another v. As it hovered in that spot, it rotated at a half circle as it bobbed up and down slightly. The behavior of the craft frightened me more than the sight of it. New Hampshire Orbs
Salem— I only recognized this sighting last night, (2/7/16) but occurred in the early fall of 2014. I was outside my old work taking a video I clicked on one & a black object caught my eye. At first, I was skeptical & thought it was a bird, until I searched on my Facebook page and found the whole video. I found that these objects appeared as early as: 09 seconds in. They would be visible in one spot, and then disappear. The more I watched it(which I would pause frame for frame) the more I would watch these objects move around, fade, or move further from its spot throughout the same second. At 2:27, the object comes up from behind my head, and as I slowed it, I watched it disperse into two objects. I paused it; screen shot it when the object was one, then again as it changed into three black objects. They moved kind of in a pattern. They seemed to come out of nowhere in the clouds. I don’t know any bird that can multiply itself in mid flight. My first ufo sighting was when I was at 5 years old and checked out books on aliens in first grade. Thanks to MUFON CMS
New Jersey Triangle
Cherry Hill— I walked outside and stood there watching the stars for ten minutes, as they seemed very bright because there were no clouds. Once my eyes adjusted, I saw a black or dark transparent object moving slowly in a fixed path. It appeared 50 feet away from me and about 50 feet above me as well. The object became still for three seconds once it was above me. Once it reached my brightly lit home, it then continued on at the same rate. I was shocked and awed. I noticed it was there when I saw what appeared to be a moving constellation. Upon further inspection, it blocked out other stars as it moved above me. The front or center (it was difficult to tell where the formation exactly started) had a light-colored part that reflected the street lights which are orange. The whole thing moved silently and smoothly. Three minutes into the sighting, it made the sound similar to the sound of something mechanical moving into place, and it eventually dissipated into the sky or just moved too far for me to see. New Mexico Triangle
Roswell— My friend of mine showed me a video he took over New Mexico when he was on board a plane traveling from Dallas to Los Angeles. It was in October 2014. His GPS showed he was north of Roswell. Numerous passengers inside the plane also saw the same lights during the minute it was visible. After watching the video many times, we still don t know what is! The object looks over the Horizon at 35,000 feet, and it enters the cloud. There is a video to check out, maybe you saw something like this before. Thanks to MUFON CMS
North Carolina Enormous Black Triangle
Camp Mackall Military Reservation, Ft. Bragg — I am a retired US Army Special Forces operator and instructor. I have spent a career honorably serving my country and I swear that the following statements are true and factual. While assigned as cadre to the JFK Special Warfare Center, I spent the majority of my time teaching tactical combat patrolling to Special Forces candidates. At 2330 hrs (11:30 pm) on the night of 13 September 2010, our student squad of 15 men was in ambush posture on a clear night. I heard jet aircraft and observed two fast moving F-15 fighter jets traveling in formation at 10,000 feet heading north. I have vast military experience directly using numerous types of aircraft for close air support during combat operations in Iraq in 2003.
I lifted my night vision goggles (NVG’s) to my eye so I could get a better look at the F-15s, and a mile in front at 2500 feet altitude was an immensely larger object. I estimate it was about the size of an NFL Football Stadium. The vessel was triangular in shape, gunmetal or carbon black in color, making absolutely no sound as it flew ominously straight line and precisely steady undoubtedly under some form of highly advanced intelligent navigational control. I immediately brought the sight to the attention of my assistant instructor who then also observed it as well. Though my (NVG’s) I could see that the unknown craft had at least one light located at each corner of the triangle under its massive dark outline blackening out the night sky behind it, however upon lowering my optics the lights appeared to be pale blue in color and barely visible with the naked eye. Awestruck, we stood and watched this amazing spectacle pass directly over us and for two minutes until it disappeared over the low tree line with the two jets in trail towards the small town of Hoffman to our north. A minute later, it reappeared having had changed direction, now heading south. There were now three fighters in formation behind it and the craft seemed to have pulled further in front traveling at a higher rate of speed. By this time, the student squad was now also watching the event curiously as the triangle and following jets disappeared again. We both agreed that the fighters behind the craft seemed to be in pursuit rather than in escort. There is also a possibility the event was observed by radar. NOTE: The above image is a rendering. Oklahoma Orb
Durant–At about 10 am, I was driving north on Highway 75 just south of Durant when I saw these strange cloud formations on December 15, 2015. So, I took a few pictures of them and a few days later, when I went to view them I noticed in two of the photos there was a bright orb at the bottom of one of the clouds. I did not see the orb when I took the pictures. So I could not observe any actions, sounds, or movement. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Texas Circle
Fredericksburg — I was driving on 87 towards I-10, when a very fast black object flew from right to left, exactly in front of my car on January 10, 2016. I slammed the breaks and came to a complete stop, so did the driver behind me. As I looked to my right I saw a very shiny object flying erratically then disappeared without any sound, I just felt a very strong gust of wind and, it left a circle-like trace in the sky. I photographed it from that point. A half hour later as I was driving on I-10 towards San Antonio, the “circle” was still in the sky. I was surprised it had not dissipated by then.
It was at the exact same place I saw and reported about 50 creatures in November 2015, that had a very weird purple see thru skin with very dark veins throughout. They were walking on their hands and knees, trying to create the impression they were sheep. It is too cold to shear sheep but when I tried to report the incident to the local authorities, they claimed all I saw was freshly sheared sheep. I grew up on a farm. I know those were not sheep! A week later, police put cones in the area: “cattle”, they claimed. Something odd is happening in the area. Huge installations are brought into town almost every day. It is unusual to see all those huge devises being hauled right through downtown Fredericksburg! Thanks to MUFON CMS
Utah Radar
Doppler Radar Paint near Location and Time f UFO Sighting.
This case was reported to me by Erica Lukes who is the director of MUFON for the state of Utah. She knows a radio show host who was scanning communications between aircraft and the FAA shortly after midnight on January 14, 2016. He heard a conversation between an airline pilot and Air Route Traffic Control. The pilot reported seeing an extremely long bright object that he estimated a mile wide to his right. The air traffic controller told him that he was looking in the direction of Nephi, Utah. Apparently, the air traffic controller told the pilot that the object was not detected on radar. The object appeared to keep pace with the aircraft. Research showed that the aircraft was American Airlines Flight Number 434 which was enroute from San Francisco, to Philadelphia, at 31,000 feet. The actual sighting time was 12:13 AM MST on January 14, 2016. We were able to find segments of the conversation on the Air Traffic Control archives of controller telling the pilot that Nephi, Utah was off to his right. However, the UFO report was not on the tape. The Doppler radar map for Salt Lake City was also obtained showing possible UFO returns along the route at the time of the sighting. The radar was operating in “clear air mode” which means that the gain is turned up making it more sensitive.

Strange Alien Object Encounter in Southern Australia
Hackham — I was alone, just my dog and I in my car around 10:55bPM driving down South in Onkaparinga /Hackham driving along Penny’s Hill Road, I witnessed a massive weird shaped object on a vertical angle on January 5, 2016. I pulled over and watched it just suspended there with clear glowing white bright lights underneath it. It looked very overwhelmingly large and sinister looking. It had a dark metallic rippled look but nothing what I would have suspected a UFO would look like. It was suspended above the housing suburb six streets away and was as large as four houses. My brain couldn’t comprehend what I was witnessing. It flew very gracefully silently with elegance like a plane, but at a very quick speed northwest in about 20 seconds. Melbourne –I observed a star like sphere traveling extremely slow in a straight line. It turns, stops, waits for a satellite to pass and it makes a figure 8 turn and reverses direction. Thanks to MUFON CMS

St.Marie-St.Racheal, N.B— These pictures were taken with my friend’s huntingcamera in the woods near his home on January 11-2016. He gave me his permission to send it to you. I was only able to send 9 pictures; the remanding 20 pictures are much brighter. They were taken on two different nights, 8 pictures on January 11-2016 late in the night and 21 pictures on January 13. In the back ground, you will notice the feeding box for the animals and strange light shinning down. Since this event happen, all the animals have stop coming to eat in these area, whereas before they would come on a daily bases. We are curious to know your thoughts and would like a follow-up please. Thank you.
Unknown object strikes Colombian A320 in cruise
By: David Kaminski-Morrow reports Colombian investigators are trying to ascertain the nature of an object which struck an Airbus A320 at cruise altitude in the country’s airspace. The LAN Colombia aircraft had been operating flight 4C3509, a service to Bogota from Cancun, on January 10, 2016. Preliminary information from Colombian authorities, disclosed by the French investigation agency BEA, states that the aircraft had been cruising at 35,000 feet within the Bogota flight information region when hit. It was travelling between the waypoint KAKOL, on the Panamanian border, and the VOR at Rio Negro when the incident occurred. BEA says that, “the aircraft, flying at 480 knots, sustained an impact from an unknown object”.There was no alarm or indications of a malfunction, it states, and the crew – having checked the A320’s systems – opted to continue to Bogota. Inspection of the aircraft revealed a 20 cm depression on the forward left-hand side of the aircraft. Investigators also state that there were visual indications of a substance of unclear origin, and that a sample is being studied to determine its composition. Thanks to Jim Nelson Website
Morphing Alien Craft Encounter in Norway
Asker— I am 30 years old and on Saturday October 10, 2015, I had an experience that I cannot explain. I was a passenger in a car and on my way home suddenly became aware of a very bright cigar formed object in the sky. Right behind the object a smaller object of the same shape occurred. I was looking at these two cylinders. It was so big, but with no wings and suddenly it disappeared. I was looking around in the sky trying to find it, but the sky was empty. Five seconds later, it suddenly appeared again in the sky, but this time in a new shape much closer to my car. It was V-shaped, very white, and bright, but no lights, and squared like boxes. It had mass and behind the big V was a smaller V just hanging. I could not understand what it was. On Google, I found a woman and her 21 year old son telling a similar story. South Korea Red Objects
Kunsan AFB — What my four man crew and I saw on that clear night sky on the flight line was nothing of ours.
At least four red objects that looked like stars slowly made right angle turns in a group in 1973. Andy Miller states, “Nothing we had flew like that”.

Gravitational waves are the "smoking gun" of the Big Bang.
Predicted by Albert Einstein's theory of general relativity in 1916, a massive object like Earth distorts space-time around it like a bowling ball dropped on a trampoline. The larger the object, the more space-time is distorted by it. If a marble were circling around the bowling ball on the dimpled trampoline, it would fall inward, toward the bowling ball, like a rock in space circling a planet. Gravitational waves are ripples in space-time that travel outward from a source.

Scientists think that powerful gravitational waves are created when two extremely dense objects — like a pair of neutron stars or a black hole and a neutron star — orbit one another in binary pairs. The interaction of those two objects swirl space-time, creating ripples that theoretically can be measured using powerful instrumentation. [See images of gravitational waves]
Direct evidence
In 2014, the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics found a faint signal in the cosmic microwave background radiation (CMB) that signifies the first direct evidence of gravitational waves ever discovered. Gravitational waves were the last untested part of Einstein's general theory of relativity.
The Harvard-Smithsonian study spotted gravitational waves as ripples in space-time possible left over from the rapid expansion of the universe (called inflation) right after the Big Bang nearly 13.8 billion years ago.
Scientists working on the study found a distinct curling pattern in the CMB — the comic fog that fills the universe and represents the earliest detectable radiation — that further supports the idea that the universe went through a huge period of inflation a fraction of a second after the Big Bang.
"This work offers new insights into some of our most basic questions: Why do we exist? How did the universe begin?," astrophysicist Avi Loeb, who wasn't a member of the study team said in a statement about the Harvard-Smithsonian research. "These results are not only a smoking gun for inflation, they also tell us when inflation took place and how powerful the process was."
Cosmic inflation
CMB radiation came into existence about 380,000 years after the Big Bang. Scientists have mapped the CMB across the sky and found that it is a uniform temperature, evidence that bolsters cosmic inflation theory.
"Why the cosmic microwave background temperature is the same at different spots in the sky would be a mystery if it was not for inflation saying, well, our whole sky came from this tiny region," Chuck Bennett, principal investigator of NASA's Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) mission, told Space.com in 2013. "So the idea of inflation helps answer some of these mysteries, and it explains where these fluctuations came from." ['Smoking Gun' of Universe's Inflation: Gravitational Waves (Infographic)]
New experimentation
Experiments like Advanced LIGO (Laser Interferometer Gravitational Wave Observatory) and Advanced Virgo, could potentially detect those binary-created ripples in space-time, although neither has found a clear signature yet.
"The advanced LIGO detectors that are now being installed will see out through a substantial part of the universe," California Institute of Technology emeritus professor of physics Kip Thorne, a leading proponent of LIGO, said in 2012. "We expect to see black holes colliding at a rate of perhaps somewhere between once an hour and once a year."
Gravitational waves are different from gravity waves, which are ripples created in the atmospheres of planets by the interactions of winds whipping over geological features on the planet's surface.
These ancient Maya artifacts are a set of extremely provocative items that according to many prove that ancient mankind was visited, in the distant past, by beings not from Earth.
According to reports, the contact between an Alien species and the ancient Maya is supported by the translation of certain codices withheld by the Mexican Government.
Whether ancient mankind was visited or not by extraterrestrial beings is a provocative debate that will remain as one of the most enigmatic subjects for years to come. While many people still have doubts where we have been visited by Alien beings in the past, other people firmly believe we have been visited and state that the evidence can be found among an ancient cultures around the globe, from ancient texts to intricate cave paintings, the evidence can be found everywhere.
The alleged artifacts were created by the Ancient Maya and have been in the possession of the Mexican government for at least 80 years.
“Mexico will release codices, artefacts and significant documents with evidence of Mayan and extraterrestrial contact, and all of their information will be corroborated by archaeologists,” he said. “The Mexican government is not making this statement on their own – everything we say, we’re going to back it up.”

According to accounts, it is believed that deep in the Mexican Jungles are landings pads that are at least 3000 years old. These landing pads were left behind by the ancient visitors from the skies.

On Thursday (Feb. 11), scientists with the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO) project announced that they had made history's first-ever direct detection of gravitational waves, mysterious phenomena first predicted a century ago by Einstein in his theory of general relativity.
LIGO's two detectors — one in Louisiana and the other in Washington state — recorded the space-time distortions caused by gravitational waves that were produced 1.3 billion years ago during the merger of two black holes.
LIGO records such distortions on a photodetector, based on how long it takes laser light to travel down both 2.5-mile-long (4 kilometers) arms of each L-shaped detector. But it's a relatively simple step to convert this information into sound waves, project team members said.
"We can hear gravitational waves. We can hear the universe," LIGO Scientific Collaboration spokeswoman Gabriela Gonzalez, a professor of physics and astronomy at Louisiana State University, said during a news conference Thursday.
"That's one of the beautiful things about this [detection]," she added. "We are not only going to be seeing the universe — we are going to be listening to it."
So, what do gravitational waves sound like? The original conversion to sound waves evokes the thump of a heartbeat, while an adjusted version designed to better accommodate the range of human hearing could be mistaken for a drop of water falling into a bucket.
The LIGO project is led by scientists from the California Institute of Technology and the Massachussetts Institute of Technology, and funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation.

Zwaartekrachtsgolven bestaan! Voor het eerst zijn de rimpelingen in de ruimtetijd gemeten door twee LIGO-observatoria. Wetenschappers beschouwen de ontdekking van zwaartekrachtsgolf GW150914 nu al als één van de hoogtepunten van dit jaar.
Om half vijf werd er een persconferentie gegeven in Washington DC om de ontdekking aan te kondigen. “Dames en heren, we hebben zwaartekrachtsgolven ontdekt”, riep directeur David Reitze van LIGO door de speaker. “We hebben het voor elkaar gekregen!” Dit kwam voor toeschouwers natuurlijk niet als een totale verrassing, want de geruchtenmachine draait al zeker een week op volle toeren.
De zwaartekrachtsgolven zijn afkomstig van een paar zwarte gaten. Op een afstand van ruim 1,3 miljard lichtjaar van de aarde zijn twee zwarte gaten steeds dichter om elkaar gaan draaien, wat uiteindelijk resulteerde in een samensmelting. De twee zwarte gaten waren respectievelijk 29 en 36 keer zo zwaar als de zon en draaiden net voor de samensmelting 75 keer per seconde (!) om elkaar heen. Nu is er een zwart gat ontstaan met een massa van 62 zonnen. Het totale proces duurde slechts 0,2 seconden. Wetenschappers hebben de zwaartekrachtsgolven die tijdens de samensmelting ontstonden – met de naam GW150914 – opgevangen.
“De totale output van zwaartekrachtsgolven tijdens de samensmelting was vijftig keer meer dan alle energie die alle sterren in het universum samen afgeven”, zegt wetenschapper Kip Thorne van Caltech. Hij is één van de oprichters van de LIGO-observatoria. “Dit is natuurlijk onvoorstelbaar.”
EERDERE CLAIMS
In 2014 kondigden onderzoekers aan dat ze mogelijk sporen van zwaartekrachtsgolven hadden gedetecteerd. Het was wereldnieuws, maar later onderzoek toonde aan dat het door de onderzoekers aangevoerde bewijs helemaal niet zo overtuigend was. Het signaal dat de onderzoekers aanzagen voor zwaartekrachtsgolven kon ook wel eens door iets anders veroorzaakt zijn.
Maar even terug, wat zijn zwaartekrachtsgolven? Zwaartekrachtsgolven zijn rimpels in de ruimtetijd. Albert Einstein stelde ruim honderd jaar geleden dat onmogelijk is om te spreken over tijd en ruimte als afzonderlijke entiteiten. De vier dimensies van de ruimtetijd zijn lengte, breedte, hoogte en natuurlijk duur. Zo weten we dat licht in één seconde een afstand van 299.792.458 meter aflegt.
Je moet je de ruimtetijd voorstellen als een vel papier. Planeten en sterren liggen als knikkers op dit vel, waardoor de ruimtetijd lokaal gekromd is. Daarnaast reizen er golven door de ruimtetijd. Dit zijn zwaartekrachtsgolven, die ontstaan bij hele bijzondere gebeurtenissen, bijvoorbeeld wanneer twee zwarte gaten fuseren of wanneer een gigantische ster ontploft. Je kunt het vergelijken met wanneer je een steentje in een plas water gooit. Er ontstaan direct kringen rondom het steentje.
Waarom zijn zwaartekrachtsgolven nu pas ontdekt? Je vraagt je wellicht af waarom zwaartekrachtsgolven niet eerder zijn ontdekt. Op het strand zijn golven in de zee makkelijk te spotten. Waarom niet in de ruimte? Dit komt omdat de hele aarde op een golf meebeweegt. Stel, je rijdt met een snelheid van 120 kilometer per uur op de linkerrijstrook en de automobilist naast je rijdt ook exact 120 kilometer per uur, dan lijkt het alsof zijn auto niet beweegt, maar dat is visueel bedrog. Dit geldt ook voor zwaartekrachtsgolven. De enige manier om ze te vinden is door op meerdere plekken metingen te verrichten en deze metingen vervolgens naast elkaar te leggen. Een goed voorbeeld is het LIGO-experiment in de Verenigde Staten. In twee vacuümbuizen van vier kilometer lang wordt de lengte van een bundel infraroodlicht gemeten. Met deze apparatuur is het mogelijk om piepkleine variaties te meten in de lengte van de bundel, zelfs als die variaties kleiner zijn dan eenduizendste van de diameter van een atoom!
“DIT IS HET BEGIN VAN EEN NIEUW TIJDPERK VOOR DE STERRENKUNDE”
Mysteries ontrafeld Wetenschappers kunnen zwaartekrachtsgolven gebruiken om meer te leren over het heelal. Een zwart gat zendt geen lichtdeeltjes uit, waardoor wij nooit weten wat er exact gebeurt in een zwart gat. Zwaartekrachtsgolven kunnen door geen enkele vorm van materie worden tegengehouden, waardoor we naar deze rimpels kunnen luisteren om meer te weten te komen over zwarte gaten.
Maar er is meer. Dankzij zwaartekrachtsgolven kunnen wij ook achterhalen wat er kort na het ontstaan van het heelal allemaal gebeurde. Aangezien de oerknal bijna veertien miljard jaar geleden plaatsvond, zijn de zwaartekrachtsgolven heel erg zwak in het huidige heelal. Het is dus onwaarschijnlijk dat deze golven snel worden opgepikt.
Stel, twee zwarte gaten of neutronensterren draaien om elkaar heen en smelten uiteindelijk samen, dan zouden de zwaartekrachtsgolven er ongeveer zo uit moeten zien:

Fantastische (inter)nationale prestatie Wetenschappers in binnen- en buitenland zijn betrokken bij deze fantastische ontdekking. Zo hebben sterrenkundigen van de Radboud Universiteit en natuurkundigen van Nikhef en de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam belangrijke bijdragen geleverd aan het valideren en analyseren van zwaartekrachtsgolven.
“Wat we hebben gemeten is fantastisch”, zegt zwaartekrachtsgolvenspecialist Jo van den Brand. Hij is hoogleraar subatomaire fysica aan de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. “Het opgevangen signaal is zó helder dat het met het blote oog in de ruwe data is te zien. Een verrassend aspect van deze ontdekking is dat de zwarte gaten die zijn samengesmolten veel zwaarder zijn dan de zwarte gaten die we kennen in dubbelsterren in onze Melkweg.”
“Het signaal komt precies overeen met wat je zou verwachten volgens Einsteins theorie”, zegt Chris van den Broeck. Hij is wetenschapper bij Nikhef en werkte samen met collega’s maandenlang aan de analyse. “Nu kunnen we de theorie in de meest extreme situaties testen.”
“We kunnen nu beginnen met het onderzoeken van de ‘verdraaide’ kant van het universum”, zegt Thorne. “Denk aan objecten en fenomenen die zijn gemaakt door een verstoring in de ruimtetijd. Samensmeltende zwarte gaten en zwaartekrachtsgolven vormen nu het begin.”

CLANCY — What at one time was believed to be a UFO has turned out to likely be H2O, a Clancy resident says.
On Nov. 4, motion detector cameras set up on the back upstairs balcony of Dr. Richard O’Connor’s home captured photos of what he believed was a UFO. They were among 280,000 photos his cameras have taken over two years.
O’Connor, who is interested in UFOs and said he had set up the cameras in the hope of capturing something flying by, tried to have the photos analyzed and got various opinions, ranging from some saying that the photo had not been manipulated to others saying it had.

After dozens of emails from all over the country, O’Connor ran experiments on suggestions that the photo may be of a falling water drop. He said he used a turkey baster and dropped water so that the cameras could take some pictures.
“I am now convinced beyond a shadow of doubt that the Nov. 4 photo ... was, in fact, simply and only a couple of falling raindrops fortuitously (or not) captured by the Reconyx camera,” he wrote in an email Wednesday to friends. “Why all of these images of the water drops appear as flattened ovals rather than spheres I cannot explain ... This must have something to do with the acceleration of the water drops combined with the camera's shutter speed.”
“It is difficult for me to put into words just how disappointed I am about this news, especially when I consider just how many people, including myself, were truly fascinated by the Nov 4, 2015 photo as well as all the time and effort I have put into going over all of these (280,000) photos,” he wrote.
Debate over UFOs, roaming bison, Congressman Zinke
“Probably no Nobel Prize for me. Perhaps a Darwin Award?” he asked.
His email is addressed to ‘Friends of the JAML,” which is the Jesse A. Marcel Library that is on his property. The library is in honor of O’Connor’s friend, the late Jesse Marcel, a Helena physician who, as a boy in 1947, said he had viewed UFO wreckage in Roswell, N.M.
The group meets on Tuesdays at the library to discuss UFOs and other related issues. The next meeting is 7 p.m. March 1.
“Please do not bring any tar, feathers, or pitchforks,” O’Connor wrote.

She said that before the incident she had been slightly dubious about the existence of extra-terrestrials, but that this close encounter was now giving her pause for thought.
Fiona, who took the photo on 9 February, said: 'I'm undecided whether I believe in aliens or not, but this photo certainly meets the criteria of a UFO.
'After I had taken the photo, my friend zoomed in and it looked even more like a UFO. I have shown the photo to a few sensible friends and they all think it is incredible.'

Dat fenomeen heeft de stijging van de zeespiegel tijdelijk met 20 procent vertraagd, zo blijkt. "We hebben altijd gedacht dat de groeiende afhankelijkheid van de mens aan grondwater voor irrigatie en consumptie, zich vertaalde in meer water dat zich van de aarde naar de zee beweegt", aldus J.T. Reager, van het Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) van NASA. "We hadden tot nu toe echter niet gemerkt dat de veranderingen in de wereldwijde watercylcus het afgelopen decennium de verliezen door het oppompen van grondwater meer dan compenseren, omdat de aarde zich gaat gedragen als een spons."
Betere voorspellingen
De watercyclus bestaat erin dat het water uit de oceaan verdampt, weer op de aarde terechtkomt in de vorm van neerslag, en dan weer richting de oceaan stroomt via beken en rivieren.
Volgens de onderzoekers van NASA zal deze ontdekking leiden tot betere voorspellingen over de stijging van de zeespiegel in de toekomst. De onderzoekers ontdekten het fenomeen nu pas, omdat ze tot nu toe niet over instrumenten beschikten waarmee ze metingen konden uitvoeren op heel de planeet.

One of the six men to set foot on the moon back in 1971, Edgar Mitchell, has never held back on remarks about extraterrestrial existence and activity, but his recent statements are nothing short of amazing.

One such facility was the infamous White Sands, where the first ever nuclear explosion took place, but most missile testing bases had been visited frequently by spacecraft during that period, according to Mitchell, who quotes military insiders on his claims.
He also states he has knowledge of his own, because he spent his childhood and teen years in New Mexico, somewhere around the bomb testing base, and also in the vicinity of Roswell, where the worldwide UFO community firmly believes the most notorious extraterrestrial encounter happened.
He says the aliens were showing interest in White Sands because they knew humans were testing a weapon they hadn’t yet completely developed and wanted to know about America’s ability when it came to such powerful weapons.
One other reason could be the aliens were worried that nuclear warfare or even testing might somehow affect their planet or some other parts of the universe. The veteran doesn’t’ think so though. He is firmly convinced their sole focus was to keep peace on Earth.
Edgar Mitchell says it is not only his opinion, but also that of people he has spoken to along the years who have been part of such encounters. For example, he says the staff camped at important missile bases in the harshest period of the Cold War could often see flying objects directly above them, in those uncertain moments when the push of a button could wipe out a whole continent.
Many times the aliens would make their equipment or missiles malfunction. In areas of the Pacific Ocean, personnel reported their flying missiles being shot down by unidentified aircraft. Mitchell also suggests the number of UFO encounters during that period is simply too high to be taken like a joke or conspiracy theory.
When asked about his thoughts on Edgar Mitchell’s remarks, Nick Pope (the Ministry of Defense’s UFO investigator) said Mitchell is a respectable and honest man, but we can’t be sure his sources, high ranking officials or not, have been similarly honest with him, so his claims could never really be verified because of the classified aspect of his discussions with such people.
Pope also said that the possibility of aliens attempting to keep peace on our planet by sending simple flying aircraft above military bases was a naïve fairy tale, because if we’re really being watched by extraterrestrials, they’re probably so advanced compared to us that they had far more powerful things available if they wanted to stop a nuclear war.
Well’ you can’t tell us we’re all crazy Mr. Pope. There’s another Pope already doing it.

3 Types of UFO You Probably Didn’t Know About [Video]
The UFO phenomenon is full of mysteries, and I’m not talking about what the government and other agencies are hiding from us. There is a huge number of sightings each year, each of them having distinct particularities, so there is no risk of dying of boredom when analyzing these cases.
So why is there no official action directed towards these things? Why there’s no signal picked up by our advanced ground radars you might ask? Or why is there no trace of a downed alien craft if the appearances are so many?
According to some UFO analysts, the answer to this is quite simple – UFOs are more diverse than what you would think. They can vary from advanced artificially designed crafts such as the notorious Black Knight satellite, to speeding orbs that are capable of performing law-defying maneuvers, and last but not least, the organic UFOs.
If we look at the first type of UFO – the artificially designed craft of either earthly or alien origins, it’s easy to imagine a governmental cover-up scenario. If the officials manage to get their hands on one of this extremely advanced pieces of technology they are in for a treat since such a great “technological cake” would serve them well, and they’ll probably share it with no one.
Such a craft might be extremely hard to capture, however, according to numerous accounts, the above scenario is likely to have happened. If this type of UFO is artificial, then our earthly radars should be able to track it and ultimately capture it. So why is there no official evidence to back-up these claims? Well, because officials cannot be trusted when it comes to revealing classified information, but fortunately for us, there are some brave people who succeeded in smuggling actual footage of UFOs being chased by the military.
The below video surfaced in 2014 and it shows how a Black Hawk helicopter belonging to the Aguadilla Coast Guard is pursuing a presumed UFO. Watch carefully at 01:24 (timer displayed in upper left corner), when a second UFO comes out of the ocean joining formation with the original one, then both crafts smoothly descend into the water, seemingly unaffected by the hydrodynamic forces.
The second UFO example is the orb UFO. These small buggers appear to be the size of a drone and they’re capable of reaching tremendous speeds at a very high altitude while also performing impossible maneuvers such as brusque turns or drop-offs.
This type of UFOs are the most intriguing since there are no earthly devices that can match them. UFO researchers and enthusiasts have been documenting these peculiar orbs, and consider them to be artificially intelligent devices that are either remote controlled or piloted on their own. Below is a classic example of an orb UFO.
Alas, the third type of unidentified flying objects – the mysterious organic beings. This particular appearance is extremely puzzling to say the least. Franklin Ruehl, the renowned American ufologist and cryptozoologist depicts these UFOs as otherworldly beings that evolved from organic compounds found in space in order to survive its seemingly unlivable conditions, and may very well be the first lifeforms to arrive in the cosmos.
Different videos show how these beings are shapeshifting in the sky, morphing into various forms while steadily floating at high altitude, and when highlighted by the Sun, they form an aura of rainbow colors. These UFOs are also found in large groups, similar to a flock of birds, and some people even claim to summon them using only telepathic abilities.
The UFO phenomenon is real and it’s intensifying. If it involves actual alien beings or secret military technology we are yet to find out, and considering the great technological advancement of our species, the hour of disclosure might come sooner than you’d think.

The Moon used to rotate at a faster rate in the distant past, and for some reason, its rotation slowed down and became tidally locked with Earth. There are traces of titanium, uranium 236, mica, and neptunium 237 on the moon… these elements have not been found to occur naturally… What is going on?
Mankind has always been fascinated by Earths loyal satellite, the moon. Believed to have been ‘formed’ around 4.5 billion years ago, Earth’s moon is one of the largest ‘natural’ and most mysterious satellites in the solar system. Many details about the moon have led numerous researchers and scientists to question its real purpose. Why is the moon in synchronous rotation with Earth, always showing us the same face? And why is it so important for life on Earth?
In the 21st century, there are many UFOlogists around the world who speculate that the moon is actually a giant base where extraterrestrials survey mankind’s progress. While this theory might sound absurd to many readers, there are quite a few details about the Moon which are simply put, inexplicable.
Robin Brett, a scientist from NASA stated, “It seems easier to explain the non-existence of the Moon than its existence.”
Set in place 4.53 billion years ago?
According to studies, if our moon did not exist, life on Earth would have probably had a hard time surviving. For example, its gravitational influence produces ocean tides and body tides on Earth. Mysteriously, The Moon’s current orbital distance is about thirty times the diameter of Earth and is exceptionally large relative to Earth: a quarter its diameter and 1/81 its mass. Even more interesting is the fact that the Moon used to rotate at a faster rate, but early in its history, its rotation slowed and became tidally locked.
But if the moon was ‘engineered’ as some suggest and is, in fact, an artificial ‘structure’ wouldn’t there be something on the moon that could uncover its mystery? Well, if we look closer, there are a couple of very interesting things. According to studies, the moon has a solid shell of around 20 miles made of highly resistant materials such as titanium, uranium 236, mica, neptunium 237. Definitely, elements that you would not expect to find “inside” the moon.
In the 1970’s Mikhail Vasin and Alexander Shcerbakov from the Soviet Academy of science wrote an article called: “Is the Moon the creation of Alien Intelligence?
How is it possible that the surface of the moon is so hard and why does it contain minerals like Titanium?
Mysteriously, there are some lunar rocks that have been found to contain PROCESSED METALS, such as Brass, Mica and the elements of Uranium 236 and Neptunium 237 that have NEVER been found to occur naturally. So how did they get there?
Uranium 236 is a radioactive nuclear waste which is found in spent nuclear and reprocessed Uranium. More interestingly, Neptunium 237 is a radioactive metallic element and a by-product of nuclear reactors and the production of Plutonium.
There are some lunar rocks that have been found to contain ten times more titanium than “titanium rich” rocks on planet Earth. Here on Earth, we use Titanium in supersonic jets, deep diving submarines and spacecraft. It’s unexplainable. Dr Harold Urey, Nobel Prize winner for Chemistry said he was “terribly puzzled by the rocks astronauts found on the moon and their Titanium content. The samples were unimaginable and mind-blowing since researchers could not account for the presence of Titanium.
Even more fascinating is the incredible orbit of the moon. It is the only known moon in the solar system that has a stationary, nearly “perfect” circular orbit. It’s a fact that the Moon does not spin like a natural celestial body. In other words, our Moon does not share any characteristics with other moons found in our Solar System. If it wasn’t strange enough, from any point on the surface of our planet, only one side of the Moon is visible.
What is the moon hiding… and why have we stopped going to the moon?

Case 1: Gradually cloaked object in the sky over WV, US.
I was taking photos of the full moon on a friend’s porch and I captured a photo of the object. It appeared out of nowhere and it was there without moving, without sound for about 15 minutes.
I watched it gradually camouflage with the sky. There was an odd feeling in the air. Like static electricity. I felt tingly. It’s hard to describe and it sounds crazy but I felt almost euphoric during the time I saw it.
All I know is I know what I saw and I know I cannot explain it as just some anomaly. When you see the photo, you be the judge.
Case 2: High speed UFO over Gilroy CA, US.
I was leaving through my kitchen door to the back patio on the step before exiting I saw a huge dark, seemingly stationery object in the sky.
In a reflex, I quickly turned and picked up a camera from the kitchen table next to me.
Instinctively, I just aimed the camera in the direction of the object and clicked to take the shot. Instantaneously the object disappeared and I believed that I had not got the photo I was after.
The roll of film got left to one side, not till some time later did it get developed. I noticed there was something on a photograph, sometime later when I then had photographic software I came across the photo put it in my computer and was able to look at a larger version of my photo. It was then, that I realized I had managed to get a picture of the object I’d seen earlier. The image was taken in 1996-08-14.
Case 3: Silvery UFO over Buenos Aires.
I was returning from work when I decided to capture some photographs from the rising sun when I saw a silver shining object that moves slowly in the sky before it disappeared.
I took some images of this strange object which made no noise. Seeing something what I cannot explain gave me a mixed feeling inside of me.
Case 4: Pulsating and moving UFO captured with Telescope in Citrus Heights, CA, US.
I was at my house in Citrus Heights moving my car for my brother-in-law to go to work. I observed an object that was unusually bright to the east in the sky.
I pointed it out to my brother-in-law and asked him what he thought it was. I observed it slowly ascending into the sky 40 degrees from the horizon. This was about 5:45 in the morning.
I returned inside to get the telescope that we have. I proceeded to set up the telescope outside my front door and view the object through the lens.
I observed an object resembling an eye that was slightly pulsating and moving slowly. It was yellowish green in color and had a circle in the middle that was black with three line like things separating it into three pieces.
I was not sure what the object could’ve been initially, so I proceeded to take pictures through the lens of the telescope thus documenting my observation.
I thought it was very strange and something I’ve never seen before. I asked several people of my acquaintance and family if they had ever observed anything that was similar; they had not.
I lost sight of the object because the sun finally rose and the light obscured anything else to be seen. To my knowledge it never stopped moving upwards.
A flying saucer reportedly appeared as a family stopped to take a picture of some motorbikes on a bridge. After the family posted photos of their sighting, many conspiracy theorists offer their thoughts about it. A photograph shows an apparent UFO above the motor bikers.
Argentinian Verónica, one of the family members, said she took a photo to capture a group of bikers crossing a bridge when she spotted unusual flying object above it.
After she had screamed, other familymembers looked at it in the sky some 50 meters away. The object allegedly disappeared after the photo was shot. Verónica said they ran back to their car for safety.
The family revealed the sighting occurred at La Rinconada, close to Junin de Los Andes in Argentina.
As usual, not everyone is convinced about her story. Many believe Verónica is making up aUFO sighting story. UFO enthusiasts wonder why the family run away after seeing something unusual. They say that people usually stare as long as possible and try to understand what they are seeing.
However, another UFO witness defends the reaction of the family. The witness said that the first time she saw a UFO was with her boyfriend, and she was scared. Her boyfriend reportedly wanted to stare, as it got closer, she was afraid.
Another commenter said that he/she would do the same thing after seeing a giant black arrow in the sky.
UFO enthusiasts had observed disc-shaped object orbiting an asteroid very close to earth, igniting speculations of NASA covering up an alien spaceship.
NASA said that it was nothing but a small moon. Nevertheless, this doesn’t stop UFO enthusiasts to accuse the space agency of not telling the truth and insist that the object is a spaceship.
Tyler of Secureteam10 made a video explaining the reason he believes the object discovered on asteroid 2004 BL86 is not what NASA had told. The object in question passed 199,600 km from Earth on January 26, 2015.
Tyler says the 7-metre in diameter object doesn’t look like a moon as it has a long, metallic cylindrical hull with two other smaller cylinders that appear like arms sticking out the side.
Even though Tyler admits it isn’t a conclusive proof, he is pretty confident it is of alien origin. He says that even if NASA had a better footage of the UFO, they would edit it for it to look like a moon.
Some YouTube viewers commended the work of Tyler saying that it is important to keep a critical eye and common sense when it comes to dealing with any information from NASA.
However, others argue that NASA is correct as objects spotted close to every asteroid have always been in a circle, oval, or disc-like shape. One commenter said that the small object moving in from the top of the frame is the asteroid’s satellite, meaning the moon.
The YouTube user further explained that hundreds of professional astronomers and thousands of amateur astronomers have been monitoring this object. He said that NASA released information after it was examined by dozens of non-government agencies, including those who are seriously researching evidence of extraterrestrial life.
The post continued that it was quite odd that out of 20,000 individuals who have looked into the matter, none of them claimed what Tyler was claiming. The commenter concluded that it was a moon.
James Gilliland had an interview this week on the Weekend Today Show in Austrailia. He is a unique person, who seems to shun the fancy cloths for something more comfortable. He runs the ECETI Ranch at Mount Adams, Washington, where its famous for its nightly UFOs and orbs. Although the mountain sky is busy with UFOs, the aliens don't seem interested in direct contact, but have met him personally on a few occasions. Perhaps direct contact with humans today is forbidden for some reason. Anyway, I wish I had been to his live talk he had for fans in Melbourne.
