The Norwegian Spiral Anomaly—First Case of a Wormhole, or Just a Failed Missile Test?

A remarkable appearance lit up in the night sky over Norway, leaving the onlookers in dismay as they couldn’t understand if the 10-minutes-long event posed a threat for them or not. Were they witnessing a missile test, or rather something way more complex?

On 9 December 2009, a mystifying spiral appeared over northern Norway and Sweden. It consisted of a blue beam of light with a greyish curling emanating from one end of it. Hundreds of calls flooded the Norwegian Meteorological Institute, as residents wanted to understand what is happening.

Among the first people to speculate on this was astronomer Knut Jorgen Roed Odegaard, who at first considered the sighting to be a fireball meteor, but quickly after he excluded this possibility because the light lasted for too long. He also suggested that it could be a rare, never-before-seen case of Norwegian lights.

UFO enthusiasts believed they were witnessing a fine example of a wormhole, an interdimensional portal connecting two different points in the universe. The sighting sure looked surprising, with the emanating light twisting and spreading at the same time, but could this actually be the case?

One day later, the Russian Ministry of Defense debunked the event as a failed missile test, suggesting that the unusual light display occurred as a result of the missile’s third stage nozzle being damaged, and furtherly causing the exhaust to come out sideways, making the rocket to spin. According to Russian defense analyst Pavel Felgenhauer:

The missile’s first two stages worked as normal, but there was a technical malfunction at the next, third stage of the trajectory. Such lights and clouds appear from time to time when a missile fails in the upper layers of the atmosphere and have been reported before. At least this failed test made some nice fireworks for the Norwegians.

But can the Russian officials be trusted? After all, they’ve had many other failed rocket tests, but none compared to this one. According to the UFO community, the officials might be hiding something far more important. Some believe the spectacular event was in fact a secret military test aimed at opening a wormhole, while others linked the sighting to the recent high-energy experiments undertaken at the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland.

Could the Russians be covering this up? After all, every similar event appears to be explained as a rocket test, but this one was something completely different. The spiral intensified in both length and size, while two different types of lights could be observed. It grew and grew until the object causing the spin swiftly disappeared into thin air, making the other bluish trail more visible. Is it possible that what we see in the video is in fact a craft of some sort preparing for interdimensional travel? Otherwise how can we explain the fact that the object vanished without a trace, and no official photos of the recovered parts were released to the public?

In the lack of other relevant proof, we can either believe the explanation offered by the Russian officials, or rely on our own judgement. The unique phenomenon cannot be linked to anything so far, and most explanations have one or more gaps that prevent them from being completely reliable. However, one thing remains certain – this was an extremely spectacular, and at the same time unique sighting.

According to ufologists, the most striking part about the mysterious Black Knight Satellite is the fact that it is locked into polar orbit around Earth. Polar orbits are often used for earth-mapping, earth observation, capturing the earth as time passes from one point and reconnaissance satellites. This would put the Black Knight in the category of an observational Satellite.

Monitoring agencies around the world have reported picking up radio signals from the anomalous object for over 50 years now. The anomalous satellite has captured the interest of numerous governments around the world, including the government of the US, Russia, and China and there are even rumors that the Great Nikola Tesla was one of the first to intercept signals from this “Alien” satellite. Three weeks ago, headlines announced that the U.S. had detected a mysterious “dark” satellite wheeling overhead on a regular orbit. There was nervous speculation that it might be a surveillance satellite launched by the Russians, and it brought the uneasy sensation that the U.S. did not know what was going on over its own head. But last week the Department of Defense proudly announced that the satellite had been identified. It was a space derelict, the remains of an Air Force Discoverer satellite that had gone astray. The ‘Alien Satellite’ is even said to have been seen in space “shadowing” the Sputnik 1 Spacecraft, when cosmonauts reported seeing a UFO in polar orbit around the planet.

Even more mysteriously, the Gruman Aircraft Corporation showed interest in the alleged Alien Satellite. On September 3, 1960, seven months after the satellite was first detected by radar, a tracking camera at Grumman Aircraft Corporation’s Long Island factory took a photograph of the Black Knight. At that point, people all over the world started identifying the object in the sky, which could be seen as a red light moving at higher speed compared to other satellites in an East to West orbit.

The same year, the Black Knight satellite was located once again in Polar Orbit. Astronomers and Scientists calculated the object’s weight to be over 10 tons which would be at that time the Heaviest Artificial Satellite to orbit our Planet.

Three years after allegedly spotting the Black Knight, when Gordon Cooper was launched into space, it is believed that he actually reported seeing a mysterious UFO, with a glowing green object in front of his capsule in the distance moving towards his Spacecraft. The Muchea tracking station, in Australia, which Cooper reported the object to, picked up this Unidentified object on Radar traveling East to West.

According to believers that suggest, we are being tracked by an alien satellite in polar orbit around Earth, the extraterrestrial satellite carries a mysterious message and originates from the Epsilon Bootes Star System, and was placed to monitor Earth around 13,000 years ago.

There are numerous enigmas surrounding the Black Knight. Today, we cannot know for sure whether we are looking at space debris (thermal Blanket) or something that originated from an otherworldly civilization. Believers and skeptics will continue an ongoing debate, where both sides make good points supporting their theories. The truth behind the Black Knight Satellite, however, remains a profound mystery.
