Soldaat: “Ik zag een enorme UFO boven vliegbasis Soesterberg”
Een soldaat die gestationeerd is geweest op vliegbasis Soesterberg, zegt in 1991 een enorme UFO te hebben gezien boven de basis. De getuige had op 17 februari 1991 nachtdienst op de legerbasis toen het incident zich voordeed.
“Ik zag om 03.00 uur samen met een andere soldaat recht boven ons een grote cirkel in de lucht,” zegt de getuige. “Het object had geen vorm. Er waren alleen felle lichten te zien die langzaam tegen de klok in draaiden.”
Geen geluid
Het was een groot object en de getuige vroeg zich af wat het was. “Ik schat dat het object een doorsnee had van 30 tot 50 meter,” zegt hij. “We dachten in eerste instantie aan een blimp, een zeppelin, met lichten aan de zijkant. Maar het vreemde was dat het erg laag boven de grond hing en geen geluid maakte.”
UFO boven vliegbasis Soesterberg (MUFON)
Al snel begon het object rond te draaien. “Na enkele minuten begon het sneller rond te draaien, waarna het plotseling met ongelooflijke snelheid wegschoot richting het westen,” aldus de getuige. “Enkele seconden later voelden we korte tijd een harde wind in ons gezicht, zoals bij een helikopter.”
Jarenlang gezwegen
De getuige kon het object goed zien. “Ik kan niet zeggen hoe snel het object vloog,” zegt hij. “Wel konden we tot over een afstand van meer dan 30 kilometer kijken. Dit object legde die afstand vanuit stilstand af in ongeveer 0,1 seconde. Ik ben thuis in de luchtvaartwereld en heb vliegervaring. Door dit soort extreme acceleratie zouden mensen in pulp veranderen.”
De getuige zegt vele jaren te hebben gezwegen over het incident. “Ik wilde er niet over praten omdat we gelijk na de gebeurtenis erg ziek zijn geworden,” zegt hij. “Dagenlang hadden we hoge koorts en moesten we overgeven. Ik was zo getraumatiseerd dat ik er jarenlang niet over kon praten.”
Boven vliegbasis Soesterberg zouden ook in 1979 UFO’s zijn gezien. In februari dat jaar zouden diverse waarnemingsposten UFO’s hebben gezien, maar zoals vaker durfden mensen er niets over naar buiten te brengen. RTV Utrecht besteedde in 2012 aandacht aan het verhaal.

Interesting is big distance the object covered I think I saw the same object on the other photos (attached) probably. It is 16:59:31 (4917), 16:55:49 for both 4708 and 4709. On the 4708 is object on the left side up. I don´t know what is it.
A space observer from the UK allegedly captured an image that apparently shows a space craft near Europa, the Solar System’s sixth largest moon.
Some observers say the image is another proof that there’s alien life out there, particularly in areas that haven’t been explored or researched.
Secure Team posted the video online and showed images that were snapped using a Canon 650D camera with a 7D-300mm telescopic lens on a tripod in the back garden.
British Louis Read sent the image to the UFO observers to get some opinions.
According to the video, the spacecraft gets closer to the Europa, one of Jupiter’s 63 moons, and has never been visible since then.
Some experts got so curious about the image, so they increased the exposure of it. They then concluded that it is either a fleet of UFOs or one giant alien structure going about their business.
Space agencies, including NASA, have yet to travel to Jupiter in their quest for more detailed information about the planet, but they are planning to dispatch a probe out there.
NASA is currently exploring Mars with the Curiosity Rover, sending images from the Red Planet back to Earth on a regular basis.

I just received this interesting footage of an unidentified flying objects or orbs flying above Portugal city Evora. This was taken on Wednesday, 13th April 2016.
A man from Idaho claimed he had an encounter with a UFO in 1977. The strange object reportedly hovered above a home nearby and traveled towards him. The witness was driving his truck to his home late at night on May 5, 1977.
When he pulled into his driveway, the witness spotted a UFO hovering just over a neighbor’s roof. As he watched the strange aerial thing, he seemed to hear a voice from a male voice saying ‘This is not of this world.’ The witness stopped the truck, got out from it, and watched the bizarre object for 20 to 30 minutes.
Initially, the witness can’t see any detail of the unidentified flying object. It was when the unknown thing passed nearer to him when he saw pulsating, colored lights on the side of the craft.
The witness did not hear any noise or emission from the craft. He described the lights as dazzling but didn’t illuminate the ground or adjacent buildings. The disc was still in the sky over roofs when the witness got tired and went inside.
He reported his sighting almost 40 years ago to Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) on March 23, 2016. He included drawings that show the shape of the craft from the side with descriptions or explanations. His testimony is filed under Case 75381 in MUFON’s witness reporting database.

Stephen Hawking en filantroop Yuri Milner hebben vanavond een nieuw wetenschappelijk project aangekondigd: Breakthrough Starshot. Het doel: een ruimtevaartuig in twintig jaar tijd naar de meest nabije buurster sturen.
Een licht ruimtevaartuig reist op een nader te bepalen tijdstip naar het nabije Alpha Centauri-systeem op een afstand van 4,37 lichtjaar bij de aarde vandaan. Dat is – omgerekend – zo’n 40 biljoen kilometer. Hawking en Milner willen dat deze ruimtesonde deze afstand in twintig jaar overbrugt, wat neerkomt op een snelheid van eenvijfde lichtminuut per minuut.
Aangezien een lichtseconde ongeveer 300.000 kilometer is, moet het ruimtevaartuig dus 60.000 kilometer per seconde afleggen. Dat is vijf keer de doorsnede van de aarde.
Het ruimtevaartuig reist op hoge snelheid naar Alpha Centauri.
Zeilen in de ruimte Hoe gaat dit duo dit plan verwezenlijken? Het ruimtevaartuig van Milner en Hawking weegt niet meer dan een vel papier en gebruikt een zeil – niet groter dan een gemiddelde vlieger – om voort te bewegen. Dit zeil is slechts enkele honderden atomen dik. Een gigantische laserstraal van 100 miljard watt raakt het zeil van dit ruimtevaartuig, waardoor het vliegende zeilbootje flink wordt versneld. Deze straal wordt afgevuurd vanaf een hoge en droge locatie, bijvoorbeeld de Atacamawoestijn in Chili.
Binnen vijftien jaar De verwachting is dat het ruimtevaartuig binnen vijftien jaar gelanceerd kan worden. Tenminste, als de ontwikkelingen op het gebied van nanotechnologie, lasers en microelektronica op het huidige tempo blijven doorgaan. Het feit dat een bekende wetenschapper als Stephen Hawking zijn naam verbindt aan het project is hoopgevend te noemen.
Foto’s van een andere wereld De missie gaat zo’n 100 miljoen dollar kosten. De grote vraag is: wat levert het op? Natuurlijk is het een fantastische prestatie dat een ruimtevaartuig een ander zonnestelsel kan bereiken. Wellicht kunnen er zelfs foto’s gemaakt worden, maar dat gaat spannend worden. Kunnen de gegevens een afstand van vier lichtjaar overbruggen? Hawking en Milner laten het er niet bij zitten en zijn van plan om een ontvanger te bouwen die de gegevens kan ontvangen. We krijgen wellicht voor het eerst foto’s van een andere wereld te zien.
Yuri Gagarin Het is bijzonder dat het project vandaag is aangekondigd. Het is namelijk 55 jaar geleden dat de Russische kosmonaut Yuri Gagarin voor het eerst een rondje om de aarde aflegde. Op Scientias.nl werd in 2011 het jubileum gevierd met een artikel over Gagarin.
Wetenschappers aan boord van het internationale ruimtestation installeren dit weekend de Bigelow Expandable Activity Module (BEAM). BEAM functioneert als een soort ruimtetent.
De ruimtetent wordt gekoppeld aan de Tranquility-module. Dit gaat verrassend snel, namelijk in vier uur tijd. De gemiddelde kampeerder prutst misschien wel langer met tentstokken en haringen. Wanneer BEAM is geïnstalleerd, wordt deze module opgeblazen. Eenmaal opgeblazen biedt de ruimtetent zestien kubieke meter extra leefruimte, waardoor de totale ruimte in het internationale ruimtestation met acht procent toeneemt.
Als het aan NASA ligt, worden toekomstige ruimtestations allemaal opblaasbaar. Opblaasbare ruimtestations of modules nemen minder ruimte in en kunnen daardoor makkelijker met een raket vervoerd worden. Ook zijn ze veel goedkoper. De ruimtetent van Bigelow Aerospace kost slechts achttien miljoen dollar. Dat lijkt misschien veel, maar een ruimtestation als het ISS kost vele malen meer, namelijk 150 miljard dollar.

De komende twee jaar testen astronauten of de ruimtetent goed functioneert. Beschermt de opblaasbare module de astronauten tegen zonnestraling, ruimteafval en extreme temperaturen in de ruimte? Ontstaan er scheuren of groeien er schimmels aan de binnenkant van BEAM? Hier letten astronauten op.
Na de testperiode zal BEAM losgekoppeld worden, waarna de tent verbrandt in de atmosfeer van de aarde.

Physicists Send Particles Of Light Into The Past, Proving Time Travel Is Possible?
Single particles of light (photons) to simulate quantum particles travelling through time were just used by scientists from the University of Queensland, Australia. They showed that one photon can pass through a wormhole and then interact with its older self. Their findings were published in Nature Communications.
Closed timelike curves are a concept necessary to understand this experiment(CTC). CTCs are used to simulate powerful gravitational fields, like the ones produced by a spinning black hole, that could theoretically (based on Einstein’s theory of general relativity), warp the fabric of existence so that spacetime bends back on itself. This creates a CTC, almost like a pathway to travel back through time.
“It’s intriguing that you’ve got general relativity predicting these paradoxes, but then you consider them in quantum mechanical terms and the paradoxes go away.” – University of Queensland physicist Tim Ralph (source)
Tim Ralph (quoted above) and his PhD student Martin Ringbauer simulated a Deutsch’s model of CTCs, according toScientific American, “testing and confirming many aspects of the two-decades-old theory.” Although it’s just a mathematical simulation, the researchers (and their team/colleagues) emphasize that their model is mathematically equivalent to a single photon traveling through a CTC. Nothing has actually been sent back through time though; to do that, scientists would have to find a real CTC, which has yet to happen as far as we know. Of course, there always remains the possibility that black budgetscience has.
Think in terms of the ‘grandfather paradox,’ a hypothetical scenario where someone uses a CTC to travel back through time to cause harm to their grandfather, thus preventing their later birth. Now imagine a particle going back in time to flip a switch on the particle-generating machine that created it – this is a possibility that these physicists say they have shown through their simulation.

A pair of glasses has enabled a blind man to read for the very first time in 20 years.
The high-tech specs are the invention of OR-Cam, an intuitive wearable device with a smart camera, is designed to assist people who have a visual impairment.
Luke Hines, aged 27, became blind in one eye and has only 3 per cent vision in the other after he underwent an operation to remove a brain tumor in 1997.
In an interview with the Sun newspaper, Luke, from Devon, England said:
"Something as simple as going to Tesco I used to hate doing because I would just go, get the same things every time and get out of there."
However, with his new specs, shopping has now become a completely different experience.
"Now I can spend hours up there just trying to read everything. It's really nice being able to do it without having to rely on someone else."
The Or-Cam device is a small camera that can be worn in the same way as Google Glass. It is connected by a thin cable to a portable computer and can fit in the wearer's pocket. This then clips onto the wearer's glasses via the use of a magnet, which then offers clear speech as it reads aloud the words or objects pointed to by the user.
Priced at just US$2,500 — it recognizes English-language text.
Luke has suffered greatly due to his handicap and was unable to go to school because of his visual impairment.
However, life has taken a turn for the better and through the use of Or-Cam, Luke is now able to do so much more. He is hoping to go onto college and eventually become a gardener.
In an interview with The Sun, Luke's mother, Jane Jinen said:
"It's such a delight because if it can give Luke a quality of life that we have got and he can go to college, it would just be overwhelming."

Toni Wheeler holds fond memories of growing up in the rural town of Aurora, sitting on the porch of an elderly resident named Mr. Mayfield and listening to him tell about the time a UFO crashed into a windmill, killing a spaceman.
“He would tell us it did in fact happen,” said Wheeler, now the city administrator, recounting one of the highlights of her Wise County childhood in the late 1970s. “He said tons of people went rushing up there to the [crash] site, but they made all the kids stay back underneath the hill, because they were afraid it might have a disease.”
The legend of the 1897 crash of an alien spacecraft 27 miles northwest of downtown Fort Worth certainly put Aurora on the map — having been retold in books, movies and TV shows — although many residents would just as soon their community not be known for such a tale.
But many others — Wheeler among them — are ready to embrace the extraterrestrial adventure, and on Saturday they will host the first of what they hope will become an annual event known as the Aurora Alien Encounter.
At least 300 people are expected to turn out for the event at the relatively new MD Resort conference center, south of Texas 114 in the Wise County town.
The festivities are scheduled to include a day of talks with UFO researchers and authors, an alien laser tag competition and shuttle tours of both the residential area where the crash reportedly happened and the cemetery where the alien — nicknamed “Ned” by the City Council — was buried.
Reports of an alien crash
On April 17, 1897, a story attributed to Aurora cotton buyer S.E. Haydon appeared in The Dallas Morning News: “About 6 o’clock this morning the early risers of Aurora were astonished at the sudden appearance of the airship which has been sailing through the country.”
The story went on to explain that an aircraft smacked into a windmill just a few hundred feet north of what is now Texas 114 and crashed into a field.
Supposedly, the pilot was buried in the town cemetery.
The incident occurred six years before the Wright brothers’ first human flight at Kitty Hawk, N.C., and nearly 50 years before the much more famous unidentified flying object reportedly crashed in Roswell, N.M.
Today, the roughly 1,400 residents of Aurora are left to decide for themselves whether they believe the story. And it appears that they may never reach a consensus.
“Some of the older residents of this community, you could never change their mind about things,” said Dan McEntire, the city’s historic preservation officer. “A lot of people believe it and a lot of people don’t. It’s just what it is.”
Controversies
Several components of the Aurora incident make it a compelling, mysterious tale.
The plot in the Aurora Cemetery where the alien was supposedly buried was later dug up, and the body (if there was one) removed. An original stone marker with a UFO carved into it disappeared years ago, although today the location is marked with a nondescript, cigar-shaped boulder.
The windmill the spaceship reportedly hit is gone, but a now-closed water well at the base of the windmill still exists on private property near Texas 114.
Folks working on a History Channel show about the Aurora crash in 2008 opened the water well for the first time in about 70 years in search of wreckage that supposedly had been thrown inside. They found bits of metal, but tests on the material were inconclusive.
Chunks of metal hieroglyphics were reportedly found at the crash site, but their whereabouts are unknown.

Radar operators say UFO travelled 120 miles in 8 SECONDS in Britain's famed close encounter

Two former radar operators have revealed how a UFO travelled 120 miles in less than EIGHT SECONDS during Britain's most famous close encounter.
Ike Barker and Jim Carey have given their first in-depth interviews since the incident at RAF Bentwaters, in Suffolk - hailed as the world's best documented case.
They were on duty in the air traffic control tower when the unidentified target was tracked on radar during a spate of bizarre sightings in late December 1980.
On December 26, a small team of security police officers reported seeing a triangular shaped craft land in Rendlesham Forest, just outside the base.
And, two nights later, Deputy Base Commander Lt Col Charles Halt and several other USAF personnel observed strange flashing lights moving through the woods.

The military team watched in awe as the glowing object fired a beam of light on the ground before it flew away.
Meanwhile, reports came in over their radios that the UFO was firing beams into the weapons storage bunkers, which housed the biggest stockpile of nuclear missiles in Europe at that time.
Halt later filed an official report to the UK Ministry of Defence - dubbed the 'Halt Memo' - giving details about the case, which was released under the Freedom of Information Act.
However sceptics have debunked the sightings as satellites, meteors or the Orfordness lighthouse a few miles away.
But speaking in a new documentary called UFOs and Nukes: The Secret Link Revealed, the retired USAF air traffic controllers say the craft they tracked was not man-made.

Ike Barker said: "It wasn't like any radar target I've ever seen.
"It was travelling at an extremely high rate of speed. It passed over the control tower and then it stopped. I've never seen anything like the maneuverability that happened with this object.
"It was orange in colour and it popped into my mind that somebody was flying a basketball out here. There were lights around the centre but not like navigation lights.
"It was more like portholes, as if you were seeing the lights from the inside coming out. It hovered momentarily, reversed its course and went back out a high rate of speed."

A team of security police officers reported seeing a triangular shaped craft in Rendlesham Forest
Carey, a tech sergeant with the 2164th Communications Squadron, said the unknown target made a sharp right angle turn at high speed before it left the area.
He said: "It was just phenomenal to see it go that fast. I said that can't be one of ours. No jet can make an immediate right hand turn."
The radar experts, who did not report the sighting to their superiors over fears it could ruin their careers, are among more than 150 military witnesses who have reported UFO activity at nuclear weapons laboratories, test areas, storage depots and missile sites since the 1940s.

Personnel at RAF Bentwaters observed strange flashing lights moving through the woods
Declassified US government and KGB documents from the former Soviet Union have also revealed how missile launch systems have mysteriously malfunctioned, causing panic among military chiefs during the Cold War.
American researcher Robert Hastings, who has produced the documentary and written a book on the ominous incidents, believes these incursions are a warning to humanity.
He said: "My opinion is that those who pilot UFOs are visitors from elsewhere who engage in provocative actions against American and Russian nuclear missile sites to send us a message that we humans are playing with fire - that to engage in nuclear warfare is essentially suicide."

Retired UK police detective Gary Heseltine, who now edits the UFO Truth ezine, said: "The testimony of the two radar operators should once and for all put to bed the ludicrous sceptical theories that the military personal were confused by the Orfordness lighthouse.
"Their testimony clearly highlights that UFOs were interested in the base and that beams were shone down into the nuclear storage bunkers.
"Every high school child, politician and university college student should be shown this documentary."
The new evidence has come to light as Hillary Clinton's campaign manager John Podesta told CNN News that the American people "can handle the truth" about UFOs

While many people it is not a question whether Aliens exists in the universe, there are others who believe we might not find our cosmic neighbours at all. According to theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking, humanity will not find intelligent alien species anytime soon.
This Week, Professor Hawking, Russian Billionaire Yuri Milner and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg presented the most ambitious Alien-hunting mission in the history of Mankind. Called ‘Breakthrough Starshot’, the project costs over 100 million US dollars which will be wisely spent to create the sophisticated nano-spacecraft.
In the conference, a group of researchers together with Professor Hawking and Yuri Milner detailed a project that aims to send a fleet of tiny spaceships into space to the neighboring star system Alpha Centauri in search for extraterrestrial lifeforms.
However, in addition to the incredible project that will change space exploration forever, the audience wanted to know more bout Aliens, and specifically, when scientists might discover them.
Professor Hawking took some questions from reports in advance so that he would have time to prepare the answers.
One of the most interesting comments made by Professor Hawking was about Alien life. Hawking said that it was very unlikely that scientists will find intelligent alien lifeforms in the next twenty years. “The probability is low, probably,” he said.
However, he continued talking about alien life.
“The discoveries of the [NASA] Kepler mission suggest that there are billions of habitable planets in our galaxy alone,” Hawking said. “There are at least a hundred billion galaxies in the visible universe, so it seems likely that there are others out there.”
In the past, Professor Hawking discussed alien life and how he believes an intelligent alien species might threaten our civilization. During the Breakthrough Starshot conference, Hawking was once again asked what humanity should do if we all of a sudden discover intelligent alien life, professor Hawking’s answer was, “We should hope that they do not find us.”
Others seem to share the views of Professor Hawking. Jill Tarter, astronomer, and co-founder of the SETI Institute said that if aliens visit our planet, they could take control of everything thanks to their clearly superior technology. However, Tarter added that aliens capable of finding Earth may be co-operative…
“If they showed up on our doorstep, that means they have technologies that are considerably advanced with respect to ours.” “And because of that, they are going to be the ones that set the rules,” Tarter said in an article published by TechCrunch.
This neutral-benevolent attitude of extraterrestrial visitors has already been proposed by scientists in different countries based on thorough analysis of extensive historical and modern documents.
Along the same lines, Dr. Nathalie Cabrol, a colleague of Tarter, said in September last year that an alien civilization might be trying to contact us, but humans could be “too primitive to see those signs.”

Powerful Signal Triggered by Supermassive Black Holes has ‘ Alien ’ Written All Over it
A bizarre space anomaly has recently been noticed by astronomer. They’ve stumbled over a place in the universe where a number of supermassive black holes have mysteriously aligned and are now sending extremely powerful radio bursts throughout space. Researchers who detected this bizarre phenomenon asserted that such an event has never been captured before, and they are now debating about what could be causing all this.
“Since these black holes don’t know about each other, or have any way of exchanging information or influencing each other over such vast scales, this spin alignment must have occurred during the formation of the galaxies in the early Universe,” explained Andrew Russ Taylor, director of South Africa’s Institute for Data Intensive Astronomy.
The team of astronomers was on the lookout for radio signals in the universe using data collected by the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT) in India, when they first discovered the vigorous signal. The GMRT, which is one of the largest and most precise radio telescope arrays in the world, had just finished a three-year-old radio survey that gathered radio waves originating from black holes across several galaxies.
After closely analyzing the data received, they were surprised to discover this never-before-seen phenomenon, where each of the supermassive black holes located at the center of each galaxy were spinning in the same direction. So, what could be causing all this?
Opinions are now split among the researchers investigating this case, and while some of them consider an important event from the early stages of the Universe to be the cause, others are opting for a more recent and controversial cause.
“The alignment of the black holes is probably caused by an overall spin in the structure of this region of space, triggered by fluctuations of primordial matter in the early Universe, way before galaxies even formed,” said Yasmin Tayag in a report for Inverse.
The scientific explanation is vaguely describing the source of this unusual alignment, but at least there is one thing the team mutually agrees upon – an extremely powerful source must have caused the fluctuations that sequenced the black holes to spin the same way. Whatever this source is remains a topic for debate, but there are some who take into account the most exotic of possibilities.
“This is not obviously expected based on our current understanding of cosmology. It’s a bizarre finding,” said astronomer Romeel Dave from the University of Western Cape in South Africa in a recent press release.
In other words, this recent find has perplexed the scientific community, as the phenomenon cannot be explained using the means we have at our disposal. There is much room left for speculation, and judging by the excitement shown by the researchers, I wouldn’t be surprised if they would announce that super-advanced aliens are causing this unusual sequencing.
After all, the probability of supermassive black holes being inhabited by higher beings had already been explored by Russian cosmologist Vyacheslav Dokuchaev from Moscow’s Institute for Nuclear Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
“Interiors of supermassive black holes may be inhabited by advanced civilizations living on planets with the third-kind orbits,” he wrote in a paper published in Cornell Univeristy’s online journal. “We could live inside a supermassive black hole eventually, but super-aliens may have already beaten us to it,” he concluded.
With sensitive telescopes such as the South African MeerKAT radio telescope and the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) already on the way, it’s likely that the source of all this meticulous space menace will be revealed in the near future. If they’ll detect an exotic species or only a rational phenomenon we are yet to find out, but the scientist in charge of the research seems absolutely amazed of this particular find.
“We really need MeerKAT radio telescope to make the very sensitive maps, over a very large area and with great detail, that will be necessary to differentiate between possible explanations,” said Taylor who is leading the investigation. “It opens up a whole new research area for these instruments, which will probe as deeply into the and as far back as we can go – it’s going to be an exciting time to be an astronomer.”

In addition to numerous other politicians, Russian Deputy Primer Minister Dmitry Rogozin has openly spoken out about extraterrestrial civilizations, while claiming that Russia does not hide information on UFOs and Alien life. Is society being prepared for disclosure?
According to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, the Russian government does not hide any information about contact with unidentified flying objects.
In an interview, Rogozin spoke out about extraterrestrial civilizations and that the search for intelligent life elsewhere in the universe is one of the main objectives of the Russian Space Agency reports RIA Novosti.
‘One of the greatest scientific, and mankind’s dilemmas is whether or not we are alone in the Universe. Whether somewhere out there is another intelligent civilizations. Given the infinity of space and time, anything is possible,” said Rogozin.
The deputy prime minister also added that the Russian government does not hide any information about contact with unidentified flying objects, suggesting that the Russian government has nothing to hide when it comes to Alien contact.
Earlier this year in January, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) published hundreds of declassified documents about UFOs and extraterrestrial life. Most of the files contain images of the 40s and 50s and belong to the digital archive of the agency. While the CIA has not revealed any information about whether or not the agency or the United States Government has established contacts with extraterrestrial beings, the declassified files show the seriousness with which the US government treated these phenomena.
In the last couple fo years, UFO enthusiasts were able to take a peek at countless declassified governmental files about UFOs, and unexplained contact with mysterious flying objects.
Last year, former astronaut Edgar Mitchell, the sixth man to walk on the moon claimed that military chiefs saw Extraterrestrial vehicles observe nuclear weapons test in the New Mexico White Sands in 1945.
The former Astronaut argued that extraterrestrial beings intervened in the Second World War preventing a catastrophic nuclear war between the United States and the Soviet Union. Mitchel also claimed that ‘they’ had shot down test nuclear missiles preventing both nations from entering into a nuclear conflict.
He said: “They wanted to know about our military capabilities.
“My experience talking to people has made it clear the ETs had been attempting to keep us from going to war and help create peace on Earth.
“Other officers from bases on the Pacific coast told me their missiles were frequently shot down by alien spacecraft.”
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin is one of the many governmental officials who have discussed alien life in recent times.
In 2013, Russian Primer Minister Dmitry Medved was believed to have inadvertently confirmed the existence of intelligent extraterrestrial life, in a short interview while away from network cameras:
„I tell you the first and last time. Together with a nuclear suitcase the president has a folder, which is top secret and devoted entirely to the report by the Russian secret service which handles the control of extraterrestrials in our country. After the term, the two folders and a small nuclear suitcase are transferred to the new president. How many of them are among us I cannot say because panic might begin.“

Vooralsnog trekt het schoeisel van de mummie de meeste aandacht. Fervente 'believers' van complottheorieën zien er het ultieme bewijs in voor het bestaan van tijdreizen.

Billionaire’s hunt for aliens will include a fleet of tiny spacecraft
Russian billionaire Yuri Milner is looking for aliens, and putting up a lot of his own money to do it. Adding to the $100 million he pledged to spend on alien hunting projects last summer, he recently announced he will spend another $100 million to create miniature spacecraft to look for extraterrestrial life in our closest neighboring star system, 25 trillion miles away.
Last July, Milner pledged to spend $100 million over ten years to help expand the ability for the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) to listen to a larger amount of the radio spectrum in their quest to intercept an alien radio signal. This was being done through what he calls Breakthrough Initiatives.

In an announcement made earlier this week, Milner introduced a new program called Breakthrough Starshot. This program intends to build “nanocraft” that can sail the 25 trillion miles to Alpha Centauri, the closest solar system, in order to search for alien life and habitable planets.
It sounds like science fiction, but he says most of the technology needed already exists. According to Milner, advancements in microelectronics is what makes it possible. The proposed nanocraft will consist of a small microchip and a sail propelled by laser. The craft will have to be very lightweight, but it is now possible to produce a tiny chip that can include a computer, camera, navigation and communication equipment and anything else the little spaceship will need.
The nanocraft will also be fast, traveling at speeds up to 20% the speed of light. At that speed it will still take 20 years to reach Alpha Centauri, but at least it will not be alone. Milner says they will send a fleet.
“Instead of sending one big expensive machine, you can send hundreds of these,” Milner told Popular Science. “Interstellar medium is dangerous. There are dust particles that can destroy your technology. The math today shows that between the sun and Alpha Centauri something like this, if it flies this way [the thin edge as the leading edge] it will have four collisions of dust particles on the one-micron size.”
Each craft will cost about the same as in iPhone, making a fleet affordable. And with the danger of dust particles obliterating the craft, redundancy will help increase the chances for success.
Once they reach their destination, the little spacecraft will have a few hours to record video and whatever other telemetry they will be able to obtain. The data will then be sent back to earth via lasers. However, because we are talking about such vast distances, the data will still take four years to reach earth, even at the speed of light.
Milner admits there are many challenges ahead. For instance, it will take great precision to aim the lasers sending the data back to earth. There is also the matter of the lasers providing the light to propel the craft.

The light sails will not be propelled by the sun, but by an array of lasers on earth that will take 100 gigawatts. It will only take a few minutes for the lasers to propel the craft to their top speed, but the lasers will need to be very precise.
“If you’re slightly out of the beam, then you’re off completely,” explains Milner. “Can we devise a form of sail that will be stable on the beam? If it moves sideways, then it automatically moves inwards? There are many small and relatively complicated challenges like this.”
Even with the challenges, Milner is confident it can be done.
“It is possible there will be roadblocks, but we can move forward in many of those directions. This first $100 million is really just the proof of concept.”
So what if his nanocraft make it and they do find aliens? Milner says, “I think that there is a possibility of some life, but not intelligent life. So hopefully we will see something, but not too scary.”
Stephen Hawking could be at fault for making Milner worried about scary aliens. Hawking was part of Milner’s SETI announcement last summer, and was also present at the announcement of Breakthrough Starshot this week.
Hawking has expressed a fear that if we meet an advance extraterrestrial civilization, it might not go so well for the human race. At the Breakthrough Starshot event, when asked what Earthling should do if they meet aliens, Hawking replied, “We should hope that they don’t find us.”
However, he says he does think they are out there.
“There are at least a hundred billion galaxies in the visible universe, so it seems likely that there are others out there,” Hawking told the crowd.
It will take a few years to develop the spacecraft, but Milner is motivated to make it happen.
He told Popular Science, “I feel we have responsibility to push this forward if we can. People have been developing this technology, not specifically for this project, but we have this capability now. And I’m convinced that if something is possible, somebody is going to do it. So I think we just really want to see if it’s practically possible.”

A Colorado police officer at Wheat Ridge reported watching multiple unknown lights near ground level during a routine property check where video surveillance backed up the report, according to testimony in Case 57173 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The police officer pulled into Anderson Park at 1 a.m. on June 19, 2014, during a routine patrol, in Wheat Ridge.

“As I began driving towards the back I see five or six lights; two red, two blue, and two green, or it was two red, three blue, and one green,” the witness stated.“The lights were near a tree line on the other side of a softball field and about 150 yards away.”
The witness reported that the lights were clustered around each other at various heights in a kind of oval shape.
“I would estimate the lights were clustered around something the size of a car and were about three feet away from each other. The lights looked like LED quality light and were as bright as car headlights, not moving, and each light was about the size of a softball.”

The officer watched the lights as he pulled into the park.
“As I drove into the park the lights did not change in intensity or move like a directional light would as you move a flashlight around. As I drove I observed the lights from about the 5 o’clock to the 4 o’clock position covering about 50 yards and there was no change in intensity of the light or any idea as a direction they were pointing; thus giving me the impression they were some kind of dome light or spherical in nature.”
The officer stated that he did not see any beams of light that lit up the grass or trees around it like a car headlight would do.
“I looked at this for about five seconds and then all of a sudden the lights go out simultaneously. To clarify, there is no way the light was emitted from separate sources. The lights went out at exactly the same time and had to have been controlled from a single source.”

The officer then called the sighting in on the police radio saying that hewas going to check the park as he had just seen some strange lights.
“The radio works just fine. I go check the area and observe that the trees and grass are frosted over with freezing dew and I could see my breath. The low that night was 52 so it was probably about 55 degrees, possibly lower due to the proximity of nearby Clear Creek. I did not observe this frost anywhere else in the city that night and I was near another water source in a different part of town about two miles away and one hour earlier and did not observe the frosting of the vegetation.”
The officer turned on his spotlight and could see what appeared to be snow falling in the beam of his light.
“I remember thinking, ‘Is it snowing? No it’s too warm. Is this ash from a forest fire? No there’s no fire and I don’t smell smoke.’ I then walked onto the freshly frosted grass and see no signs of disturbance on the grass. There is a bike path near there so I go to the bike path and turn off my flashlight and stand still for about 20 seconds to see if I can hear anything (like kids laughing). As I am standing in the half-moon light my hand goes to my gun and I think to myself slowly, ‘I’m gonna go back to my car.’”

The officer felt odd.
“It wasn’t a physical feeling that made me uneasy, but not knowing what I was dealing with made me feel vulnerable. I went back to my patrol car and throughout the night parked nearby to see if the lights came back and they never did. I went back to the area just as the sun was coming up and did not observe any signs on the ground and the vegetation was no longer frosted.”
The officer attempted to understand what he had witnessed.
“The only rational explanation I can think of is that there were these lights on an ATV on the bike path, but they were arranged asymmetrically and did not appear to be directional. But I would imagine I would have seen the lights move as the ATV drove down the bike path or heard the vehicle driving away. Furthermore, the path goes into the trees and driving an ATV as fast as it would have to have gone for me to not hear it would be insane without lights. There was a traffic signal about 50 yards behind me, but the colors I saw were different hues than traffic signal colors and I have driven that area at that time a hundred times and never seen this. There was no water on my windshield and it was too clear to be a reflection.”
Colorado MUFON Field Investigator Henry Lindsey and MUFON Director of Training Ken St. John investigated and closed this case as an Unknown.

A New Mexico witness in Santa Fe County recalls a UFO event from 1995 when a disc-shaped UFO was caught on camera, according to testimony in Case 75628 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was taking photos of a double rainbow just after a thunderstorm on August 15, 1995.

“I took several photos, about six,” the witness stated. “I was directly across the street from the National Cemetery. I did not notice the object when photographed.”
The witness then took the film to be developed at the Fox one-hour kiosk in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
“When I went through the photos is when I saw this object in just one photograph. I took the photo to the Sun Spot Observatory in New Mexico. They told me that I was about 500 feet from the object. They told me that the object was going at least 500 mph. They told me that shadows were consistent with all other objects in the photograph. They told me that the camera I was using, a Kodak Instamatic, that this photograph could not have been faked.”
The witness stated that he also received a warning.
“They told me not to show it to people, because I could get into trouble.”
But that warning did not stop the witness from attempting to get more opinions.

“I went to Kirtland Air Force Base where a friend of mine was a helicopter mechanic. I showed the picture to some pilots. They became very angry with me and told me to get the hell off the base, and that if I ever came back there again, they would report me to base security. One pilot told me that I was a trouble maker, and that he was going to inform base security of my address and have me put in jail. I did not go to jail, and no one ever contacted me about the photograph.”
About two weeks later, the witness stated that he gave the photograph, the original, to a man named Dr. Greer.

“He told me that he had friends in the area that would examine the photo and that he would contact me in about two weeks to tell me about what it was. I never heard back from Dr. Greer. In the past years I have attempted to contact Dr. Greer, but he has never returned my phone calls. I also sent a copy to a man, Stanton Freidman. He told me that the photo was interesting.”

A Nevada witness at Las Vegas reported watching and videotaping a round UFO with light beaming from the object to the ground level, according to testimony in Case 59760 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness woke up about 5:30 a.m. on September 12, 2014, and first saw the object.
“As I was walking back to my bedroom I noticed a round ball in the sky that looked similar to the moon, but it had rays of light beaming down from the object,” the witness stated.“One of the rays blinked and that is what caught my attention.”
The witness first thought that the object was a plane, but then noticed something unusual.
“I ran to get my phone to record and by the time I got back to the object, the light was slowly ascending into the object while both light and object simultaneously disappeared.”
Nevada State Director Donna Carbone investigated this case and closed it as an Unknown.
“The object hovered, glowed, cast light, appeared transparent, and was the shape of a circle,” Carbone stated in her report.“Surface was glowing and had a mist/shroud. Apparent size was unknown and actual size was 31-100 feet. Prominent colors were white, exterior lights flashed randomly and other. Emission was a beam and cloud, and sound is unknown. Elevation is unknown as is lowest altitude. Flight path was stationary and direction first observed was in the west as was direction last observed. No landing observed.”
Carbone interviewed the witness for more details.
“The object was above the mountains and it was not going upwards and disappearing, but going back towards mountains and fading. It did not look man-made, but seemed alive and aware and gentle, like a being, as it hovered. Witness was adamant that the object was not a rocket, space junk, or satellite.”

Carbone came to her own conclusions.
“This is a very interesting case due to the fact it has been on TV, in the newspapers, and on the radio, and not two sources have agreed on what it is. First report I received was a three stage rocket that launched from Guiana in South America. Then I received a report that it was a Navy Trident missile launch from a submarine. And, finally NBC News reported that our government said it was a Russian Satellite breaking up and re-entering our atmosphere, even though Russia denied it. There were also statements that it was “space junk.” So where and who do we believe. All reports came from credible individuals. Then I have my witnesses’ statements from all three reports (59760, 59777, 59758). Two witnesses at Lake Tahoe, one a pilot, state this was not a satellite as it banked and turned. Another witness, a 61-year-old male, who gets up every morning to watch the ISS go overhead, stated that the object hovered, and that it went into a mist. Then I have a 21-year-old female witness, whose hobby is photography. She is adamant that what she filmed is not a satellite, rocket or space debris. She stated she watched this object as it went “backwards” into a mist, and that it almost seemed to be alive.”
While the case appears to be concluded, Carbone is leaving the door open to future interpretation.
“So moving forward who do we believe? For me there are way too many conflicting reports, which finds me in a quandary on what to believe. I have decided to close out all three cases and mark them as Unidentified Aerial Vehicle, until we can receive absolute proof on what this object was. Editor’s note: OpenMinds.tv originally reported on this story in September, 2014, and most experts agree it is a rocket launch of some sort. However, as the MUFON investigator indicated, it is still uncertain whose rocket it was.
Space journalist and historian James Oberg posted this comment on our original story: “Looks like a pretty standard rocket launch, so when you get basics such as azimuth/elevation, angular size and duration, etc., please share.
