Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

Alien and UFO conspiracy theorists believe whistleblower testimonies prove that top-secret alien technology reverse-engineering research work is ongoing at several underground alien-government facilities across the country. The whistleblower testimonies, according to conspiracy theorists, also prove that the government is covering up the truth about contact with extraterrestrial races and access to exotic alien technology.
Many whistleblowers claim to have worked as government scientists and engineering contractors at several underground alien-government research facilities, such as the top-secret Area 51 military base in the Nevada desert.
Conspiracy theorists believe that alien UFOs recovered from crash sites are being stored at top-secret government facilities, such as Area 51 and the Dulce underground facility.
Conspiracy theorists also believe that in addition to badly burned alien corpses recovered from the Roswell crash site in 1947, the military authorities also rescued alien survivors from inside the crashed UFO. The alien survivors were taken to Area 51 where they were forced to help government scientists and engineers to reverse-engineer the propulsion technology of their exotic craft.
Conspiracy theorists cite testimonies by several whistle-blowers as proof of ongoing work at Area 51 to reverse-engineer alien propulsion technology. One of the whistle-blowers was Bill Uhouse, a man in his 70s, who claimed he worked from 1966 through 1979 as an engineer at the top-secret Area 51 facility in collaboration with a Grey alien. According to Uhouse, who passed away in 2009, he worked as a mechanical engineer at Area 51 with a Grey alien known as “J-Rod.”

He claimed to have worked with “J-Rod” to construct a flight simulator for the training of Air Force pilots who would fly advanced USAF stealth reconnaissance craft developed through reverse-engineering studies of alien UFOs.
According to Uhouse, he communicated with “J-Rod” by using a Grey alien technology adapted for use with humans. The technology allowed human scientists and engineers working with Grey aliens to communicate via telepathy aided by a sophisticated translator software.

According to Bill Uhouse, “J-Rod” showed humans at the facility how to control and fly an alien UFO. It is claimed that there are different races of the Greys. Grey alien races include Tall, Short Greys, and Greys with size comparable to humans. But it is uncertain which of the three major Grey races “J-rod” represented.
Going by the testimony of whistleblowers like Uhouse and several others who have come forward with information, it can be surmised that there are extraterrestrial races or civilizations that are scientifically and technologically far more advanced that ours.
Uhouse claimed that alien tech reverse-engineering research activity involving aliens and humans was ongoing at a number of massive undergroundfacilitiesacross the country. Some of the better known facilities include the Area 51 research facility and the Dulce underground research facility.

The Dulce alien-government underground facility, located under the Archuleta Mesa near Dulce in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico, is believed widely to be much larger and more important than Area 51. It is believed that construction of the alien-government facilities began under the administrations of Presidents Harry Truman and Dwight Eisenhower. They were built to house Grey, Reptilian and Tall White alien scientists. The treaty with the Greys and the Reptilians included an agreement that the government would allow the aliens to establish underground research facilities where alien scientists would conduct bio-genetic research to develop advancedalien-human hybrids.
To facilitate the alleged bio-genetic research program, the U.S. government permitted the aliens to abduct a limited number of humans for use as research guinea pigs. Aliens use top-secret underground bases for sinister, Nazi-style bio-genetic research to develop human-alien hybrids, according to conspiracy theorists.
Grey and Reptilian aliens needed to develop Grey-human and Reptilian-human hybrids to save their races from extinction, according to conspiracy theorists. The aliens agreed in return to grant the U.S. government access to advanced alien technology, especially aerospace technology.
UFO conspiracy theorists claim that most cases of alien abduction involve Greys and Reptilians using humans for sinister, Nazi-style bio-genetic research as part of efforts to develop human-alien hybrids.
And there are rumors that the Greys and Reptilians are violating the terms of the agreement with the U.S. government that limit the number of humans they are allowed to abduct for the purpose of their bio-genetic research program. Although the U.S. authorities are aware that the aliens are violating the terms of the agreement under which treaties were signed in the 1950s, they have been unable to stop the violations. The underground facilities are equipped with sprawling laboratories and engineering workshops. The facilities also have sections where extraterrestrials and abducted humans used as research guinea pigs are held captive.
According to Uhouse, there may be hundreds or even thousands of Grey aliens working with Pentagon on advanced technologies as part of efforts to keep their side of the bargain with the U.S. government.

A new video revealing a compact formation of 7 UFOs has recently surfaced. The sighting is extremely intriguing as the flying device appear to be charging from this massive thunderstorm, and as the storm light up the sky, the traits of a mothership are also revealed.
The objects were clearly visible for a relatively long period of time. Their spherical design and brightness emanating from them make this sighting impossible to miss, even with the naked eye. At one point, we can see one of them shutting down its lights and thus becoming invisible for a few seconds, before turning bright again. Such a behavior indicate these may be the notorious orb UFOs that keep showing up everywhere across the globe.
Most UFOlogists believe extraterrestrial vessels use many types of energy, electricity being just one of them, and have methods (unknown to us) for harvesting it from sources we can’t possibly imagine. The web is full of footage of UFOs plunging in active volcanoes or gathering water from the oceans, and the vast amount of electricity produced by a thunderstorm should also serve as their battery recharger.
This theory is also backed by the earlier video, as the UFO seems drained of power and seeking lightning and slowly moves towards it.
The authenticity of the video is undeniable, the quality is not too good or too bad. Just before the 1:20 mark, as a powerful bolt of lightning splits the sky, it also illuminates what seems to be a gigantic mother ship, incorporating the 7 round bright lights. Throughout the recording, the peculiar orbs become even brighter whenever lightning strikes, indicating the possible moment when they capture energy.
Could the visible structure behind the small UFOs be in fact a mothership recharging?
This incident is almost identical to the one in Phoenix, Arizona. Back in 1997, strange lights lit up the sky, leading authorities into believing that the luminous objects were in fact signaling flares used by the army. This is not the case however, as there was no military or industrial testing of any kind anywhere in the area when the footage was captured.
Furthermore, flares wouldn’t even be visible in a bright storm such as this one, let alone be made more visible by lightning. But, this time, authorities haven’t even bothered giving an explanation.
Some skeptics suggested the bright dots are nothing more than drones, but since the autonomy of drone battery can’t hold for more than five minutes, not to mention the harsh conditions imposed by the extreme weather, such a possibility is extremely unlikely.
However, since the military has technology way ahead of our time, it’s possible that their new toys are being tested in the storm. If they have indeed achieved such a feat, than the moment when Project Blue Beam will impose a new world order isn’t as far as some would expect.
The matter remains debatable since numerous ufologists consider the objects you’re about to see in the video to be clear evidence of extraterrestrial activity. Although some consider our earthly technology less evolved than that of aliens, the possibility of world governments being in close relationship to these otherworldly beings, sharing technology in exchange for abduction programs and tons of data may be why their wrong.
If there’s indeed a pact between humanity and extraterrestrials, it could explain why there’s so many breakthrough discoveries going on right now. Whatever the case, we are yet to find out what these ‘higher forces’ have in store for us.

Why Humanity May be Monitored by an Advanced Species of Extraterrestrials
The words “Black Knight” may not ring many bells in the field of science to a simple person with little access to forbidden knowledge. In our case, it is no literature reference, nor Monty Python’s famous Holy Grail quest.
This object of worldwide interest has quite a history of interacting with a few of our most brilliant minds in the realm of science, thus making its existence undeniable among our list of unexplained UFO phenomena.
The Black Knight is a celestial body which is theorized to have roamed our orbits for more than 13,000 years, and counting. Though it is an ancient neighbor of our beloved blue star, its presence had been noticed in 1899, when Nikola Tesla was experimenting with a high-voltage radio device in Colorado Springs, and intercepted radio signals from space, which he immediately interpreted as “from another world”. His conclusions were based upon the irregular and unusual signals read by his receiver.
Nikola Tesla may have been the first but not the only one to read these enigmatic radio transmissions. Guglielmo Marconi, an Italian inventor and electrical engineer renowned for the Marconi’s law and the radio telegraph system, had apparently intercepted the same signals.
In 1953, four years before the launch of Sputnik I, the Black Knight satellite got originally into the attention of the Department of Defense, after it was noticed by Dr. Lincoln La Paz of the University of New Mexico. Striving to gather as much knowledge regarding the mysterious satellite, astronomer Clyde W. Tombaugh was assigned with leading a research mission.
A similar attempt was conducted by the Grumman Aircraft Corporation, the last century’s leading producer of military and civil aircraft. The initiative took place after capturing a photograph of the Black Knight, widely manifesting the Military’s interest in the unidentified flying object.
Thus, a special committee was created, whose sole purpose was the gathering of any piece of information relevant enough to clear little by little, the mystery around our distant neighbor.
After thorough calculations, it was estimated that the satellite orbited at a distance of about 400-600 miles from the surface of the earth and it weighed around 15 tons, which was another proof of its unearthly origins, because not even the Americans nor the Russians had the capability of sending such a heavy object into space.
Moreover, the satellite’s moving speed was calculated to be as twice as fast as any other satellite launched from Earth. The Black Knight’s movement unpredictability made it very hard to be seen in the sky, added up to the shroud of mystery that veiled this ancient and unique relic of the sky.
These characteristics were of great importance for it assembled an intricate puzzle that reveal a peculiar behavior of this rogue satellite, which made even more clear the fact that it did not belong to our technological state.
Because it was situated about the polar orbit, it meant again that it was not some sort of satellite placed there for espionage, since not one country was able to achieve polar orbit at that time.
One year after, one of the first public mentions regarding the Black Knight satellite, occurred in August 1954, when the technology magazine Aviation Week and Space Technology published a story that caused quite a stir in the Pentagon who tried to keep these events a secret.
In 1957, while taking pictures of the Sputnik II, Dr. Luis Corralos accidentally takes a clear photograph of the Black Knight, where it is indicated that the mysterious satellite orbited in an opposite direction compared to any other satellite that orbits from west to east, due to the technological insufficiencies of that time.
On February 1960, the media of the United States lavished with headlines that announced the detection of a mysterious “dark” satellite orbiting on a regular path around our planet. Initially it was considered to be another Russian surveillance satellite sent to spy on the U.S. territory, which put the American government in a pretty bad shade, hence making them seem unaware of various other threats to the national security, considering the tensions of the Cold War.
After the announcement, the Department of Defense assured the population that it was merely but an old space derelict, an Air Force Discoverer satellite that had gone astray.
None of these evidences compare to new data put into light by Duncan Lunan, a Scottish scientist who was able to decipher the radio signals caught by two Norwegian physicists in the 1920’s.
In the process of translating the signal, he plotted a vertical axis of the broadcast pulse sequence with a horizontal axis of echo delay time, resulting in the representation of the Epsilon Bootis Star System as it was13000 years ago.
Along with the Black Knights satellite transmission, a message accompanied the star map:
“START HERE.
OUR HOME IS EPSILON BOOTIS, WHICH IS A DOUBLE STAR.
WE LIVE ON THE 6TH PLANET OF 7 – CHECK THAT, 6TH OF 7 – COUNTING OUTWARDS FROM THE SUN WHICH IS THE LARGER OF THE TWO.
OUR 6TH PLANET HAS ONE MOON, OUR 4TH PLANET HAS THREE, OUR FIRST AND THIRD PLANETS EACH HAVE ONE.
OUR PROBE IS IN THE ORBIT OF YOUR MOON. THIS UPDATES THE POSITION OF ARCTURUS SHOWN ON OUR MAPS.”
Even for the most skeptical and non-believers, this is an unassailable series of evidence that should at least determine one to take into consideration that this stranding relic is more than what meets the eye.
Most believe that the Black Knight is a surveillance tool and a way of testing our species’ wisdom and intelligence, to make the first step in finding on our own with little help, the way to what might be our real origins.
There is no room for our ego and ignorance, for we must extend our spectrum of belief and reach out to any sign given, since many of us desperately seek clues of our whereabouts.
Deep inside we all feel an intrinsic connection with our maker, who might be closer to us than we could possibly imagine, and more caring than we deserve.

Deze maand werd bekend dat er leven mogelijk is in de ondergrondse oceaan van Jupitermaan Europa. Dat concludeerden wetenschappers van het Jet Propulsion Laboratory van de NASA.
Een nieuwe studie heeft geleid tot soortgelijke conclusies over dwergplaneet Ceres. Aan het eind van de 20e eeuw werd door ruimtetelescoop Hubble voor het eerst een foto gemaakt van een intrigerende heldere stip op Ceres, de grootste asteroïde tussen Mars en Jupiter.
Er wordt nog altijd druk gediscussieerd over de witte vlekken. Sommige astronomen denken dat ze worden veroorzaakt door ijs, zout of iets heel anders. Het is bekend dat onder het oppervlak van Ceres grote hoeveelheden bevroren water liggen opgeslagen.
Raadsel
Onlangs bestudeerde Paolo Molaro van de sterrenwacht van Triëst in Italië Ceres met de HARPS-telescoop. Hij ontdekte samen met zijn collega’s dat de heldere vlekken gedurende de dag van vorm veranderen en helderder worden. Het team staat voor een raadsel.
Met de HARPS-telescoop ontdekten de onderzoekers onverwachte veranderingen. Ze dachten in eerste instantie dat de apparatuur niet goed werkte. Uiteindelijk moesten ze concluderen dat de stippen echt veranderden. En wel op momenten dat ze zichtbaar waren vanaf de aarde.
Deze variaties doen astronomen nog steeds perplex staan, omdat er geen plausibele verklaring voor is te vinden. “We weten niets over deze veranderingen,” vertelde Molaro aan Astrowatch.net. “En dit vergroot het mysterie rond de stippen alleen maar.”
Vluchtige stoffen
Hij hoopt dat wetenschappers die betrokken zijn bij de ruimtesonde Dawn in de komende maanden meer duidelijkheid kunnen verschaffen. Molaro wil eind dit jaar meer metingen doen.
Volgens één hypothese kunnen de veranderingen worden veroorzaakt door de aanwezigheid van vluchtige stoffen, die verdampen door zonlicht. Als ze worden verlicht door de zon, vormen ze pluimen die zonlicht reflecteren.
Vanwege het enorme waterreservoir op de dwergplaneet wordt er ook nog altijd druk gediscussieerd over de vraag of er leven mogelijk is op Ceres. “Niemand weet dat op dit moment,” besloot Molaro.

Belgische en Franse wetenschappers zijn bij een kernreactor op zoek naar tekenen van een parallel universum. Dat schrijft het toonaangevende wetenschappelijke tijdschrift Physics World. Volgens de multiversumtheorie is ons heelal niet alleen en zweven er ook andere heelallen rond.
Ons universum wordt gekenmerkt door vier dimensies, te weten lengte, breedte, diepte en tijd. Er kan ook nog een ruimte zijn met vijf of meer dimensies, waar ons vierdimensionale heelal zich samen met andere 4D-heelallen in bevindt.
Geteleporteerd

Hoewel deeltjes uit een ander 4D-heelal ons niet kunnen bereiken, hebben de Belgische wetenschapper Michaël Sarrazin en zijn collega’s toch een manier bedacht om ze te meten.
Ze laten een kernreactor continu neutronen produceren. Als die neutronen op atoomkernen in de reactor botsen, moet een klein deel ervan in een naburig 4D-heelal belanden. Ontsnapte neutronen kunnen vervolgens weer vanuit het parallelle heelal terugkeren naar het onze. En die kunnen worden opgevangen door een detector. Eigenlijk zijn die neutronen dan door de wand van de kernreactor geteleporteerd.
Groter project
Het team van Sarrazin stelde een detector op naast een Franse kernreactor. Na enkele dagen bleken er een aantal neutronen te zijn opgevangen. Die gelden echter nog niet als bewijs voor parallelle universa en hogere dimensies.
Volgend jaar willen de wetenschappers een groter project opzetten. Het onderzoek van Sarrazin en zijn collega’s is gepubliceerd in Physics Letters B.

In de Amerikaanse staat Ohio bevindt zich op de Wright-Patterson luchtmachtbasis de beroemde hangar 18 met daarin de overblijfselen van de Roswell UFO crash.
Op diverse plaatsen in de buurt van de basis wordt door verscheidene mensen op verschillende data een vreemd uitziend object in de lucht waargenomen.
Voor mensen die interesse hebben in UFO’s is de Amerikaanse luchtmachtbasis Wright-Patterson in de staat Ohio een fascinerende plek.
Hier bevindt zich de beroemde Hangar 18, waar de overblijfselen van de Roswell UFO crash uit 1947 zouden worden bewaard.
Niet alleen het ruimtevoertuig zelf, maar ook de overblijfselen van de bemanning .
Uiteraard houdt de Amerikaanse overheid de lippen stijf op elkaar, maar de verhalen over Wright-Patterson Airforce Base gaan niet weg en in dat kader is de volgende gebeurtenis meer dan interessant.
Een echtpaar woont in buurt van Wright-Patterson Airforce Base en ziet een vreemd object in de lucht hangen.
Het is een vreemd gevaarte dat geen geluid maakt en tegen zonsondergang wordt ontdekt door een man die op de veranda van zijn huis staat.
Hij roept zijn vrouw en deze begint onmiddellijk te filmen, waarbij ze opmerken dat het object als het ware met de wolken mee beweegt.
Dan, plotsklaps, verdwijnt de UFO alsof deze in het niets oplost. Dit is niet zomaar een verhaal dat door één of twee mensen wordt verteld, maar ook de buren zien hetzelfde object in de lucht hangen. Meerdere getuigen die allemaal niets bijzonders hebben met UFO’s zien dit vreemde object.
Dat heel veel overeenkomsten vertoont met een vergelijkbaar object dat ongeveer een maand eerder was gefotografeerd door iemand in het iets verder gelegen Dayton.
De objecten lijken teveel op elkaar om niet één en dezelfde te zijn. Bijzondere opnames op een bijzondereplek.

Redpath is the senior education support officer of Armagh Planetarium in Northern Ireland. It was uploaded on a video stated the real color of the Black Knight. Its origin and its function are not known, but different images exist. It was NASA that took the pictures. In the following video, experts have shown a comprehensive and long investigation to rebuild, with a few available information about the object. While the investigation used a Spanish language, it is clear that the images will speak for themselves.

Of course as our understanding of the science behind Black Knight, biological systems, and our psychology has advanced so too has our portrayal of extraterrestrials in our entertainment media. Some residents think it can be a flying saucer with life from another planet.
CBS 6 went out to the place of the sighting to interview the witnesses and investigate the authenticity of the reports about a UFO flying overhead.
The lights were still there when the television crew arrive in McKinney, Virginia and found out that the lights did not or barely move.
Moreover, there were no sounds of an engine running from those lights.
A reporting witness told CBS 6 that he believed the lights were coming from a UFO or UFOs visiting the Virginia sky.
While the alleged flying object may remain unknown at least for now, Zach Daniel, CBS 6 chief meteorologist, has a pair of guesses of where the lights could be coming.
He says that they are most likely from satellites or might be from another planet visible in the sky. But admits that he can be wrong, and further investigations may shed some lights whether they are from satellites, planets, orbiting space shuttle, the International Space Station or perhaps UFOs.
The most notorious alien mystery started when an unidentified object crashed near a ranch in Roswell, New Mexico. Despite that many alien investigators exerting efforts to obtain an “evidence” from the alleged crash which included aliens, both dead and alive in the wreckage, the story remains a mystery. Despite the ever-changing and self-serving statements from the U.S. Government, no one knows what caused the crash near Roswell in July of 1947. However, thanks to the courageous individuals who came forward to speak out what they witnessed at the unexplained event. Even though their claims were debunked as fake or hoax, we still learned something from them.
The public debate took place about the existence of aliens and UFO involving the former ministers of the government who served previously. Houston, you have an epic balloon room in space. NASA has inflated the first-ever expandable room for astronauts on the International Space Station, a round module that made occasional popcorn-like popping sounds as it reached its full size.
It took NASA astronaut Jeff Williams on the station more than seven hours to inflate the privately built Bigelow Expandable Activity Module today (May 28). The new space room, called BEAM for short, was built for NASA by Bigelow Aerospace. Its inflation went at a glacial pace — a safety precaution since BEAM is the first of its kind — with Williams reporting that he heard popping noises with almost every short burst of air he fed into the module through a manual valve.
"It sounds sort of like popcorn in a frying pan starts up," Williams said. Flight controllers at NASA's Mission Control center in Houston said the sound was expected and a welcome one, since it indicated BEAM was expanding as planned. [The Inflatable BEAM Space Room in Pictures]

The inflation process began in earnest Saturday at 9:04 a.m. EDT (1304 GMT) and was complete by 4:34 p.m. EDT (2034 GMT). Ten minutes later, the ball-shaped room was pressurized to match the pressure of the rest of the International Space Station.
NASA and Bigelow Aerospace initially tried to inflate the BEAM module on Thursday (May 26), but the expansion process did not go as expected. During that first two-hour attempt, NASA engineers detected higher-than-expected pressures inside the BEAM habitat, but later determined it was likely due to the module's fabric layers sticking together.

The fully inflated BEAM module is 13 feet (4 meters) long and 10.5 feet (3.2 m) wide, and contains 565 cubic feet (16 cubic m)of living space. But at launch, it was compressed into a space 7 feet long by 8 feet wide (2.1 by 2.4 m).
"Congratulations to the entire BEAM team," Bigelow Aerospace representatives wrote on Twitter after the inflation. "A significant milestone has been accomplished."
BEAM is a prototype space habitat that can be folded up like a parachute and reduced to nearly one-fifth its inflated size, making it easier to pack for a trip into space. Expandable habitats take up less room in a payload fairing than rigid, metal habitats, and are also lighter, which lowers the cost of sending them to space. In 2013, NASA awarded a $17.8 million contract to Bigelow Aerospace to build BEAM for testing at the space station.
"This first test of an expandable module will allow investigators to gauge how well the habitat performs and, specifically, how well it protects against solar radiation, space debris and the temperature extremes of space," NASA officialssaid in a statement.

With the BEAM inflation complete, NASA and Bigelow Aerospace will begin a weeklong series of leak checks. Only once those leak checks are complete will astronauts be allowed inside BEAM module for the first time, NASA officials have said.
The station crewmembers were initially scheduled to enter the BEAM habitat for the first time on Thursday (June 2), but those plans changed after Thursday's aborted inflation attempt. The leak checks should take about a week to complete, NASA added.
The Las Vegas-based Bigelow Aerospace, hastested its expandable habitats in space, but never with human occupants. The space station crewmembers will enter the habitat several times a year to "retrieve sensor data and assess conditions inside the module," according to NASA officials, but the crewmembers will not occupy the habitat full time.
BEAM flew to the station in a SpaceX Dragon cargo capsule and arrived on April 10. It will remain on the station for two years, after which it will be jettisoned from the station using the Canadarm2, the robotic arm that can be operated from inside the station. Then, the habitat will fall toward Earth and burn up in the atmosphere.

Wetenschappers dachten dat de dinododende meteoriet niet overal evenveel slachtoffers maakte. Antarctische zeedieren zouden wellicht minder hebben gemerkt van de inslag die 65 miljoen jaar geleden plaatsvond. Uit nieuw onderzoek blijkt dat deze aanname niet klopt.
Wetenschappers van de universiteit van Leeds hebben meer dan 6.000 zeefossielen voor de kust van Antarctica geanalyseerd. Deze fossielen zijn 65 tot 69 miljoen jaar oud. Het is de grootste collectie zeefossielen ter wereld en het duurde zes jaar om deze volledige groep te onderzoeken. Onder de fossielen bevinden zich kleine slakjes en kokkels die op de zeebodem leefden, maar ook grotere soorten die aan het oppervlak zwommen.
Een bijzonder exemplaar is de ammoniet Diplomoceras. Dit is een ver familielid van de hedendaagse octopussen en inktvissen. De Diplomoceras had een paperclip-achtige schelp en kon wel twee meter lang worden. Een andere bijzondere zeebewoner was de Mosasaurus, ook wel de maashagedis genoemd, met een lengte tot wel achttien meter. De Mosasaurus is ook te zien in de film Jurassic World.

Uit de analyse van de 6.000 fossielen blijkt dat het aantal soorten na de meteorietinslag met 65% tot 70% afnam. “Ons onderzoek laat zien dat de Antarctische zeedieren het van de ene op de andere dag moeilijk kregen”, zegt promovendus James Witts. “Dit wijst op een plotselinge en fatale gebeurtenis. Het is sterk bewijs dat de Antarctische zeedieren het effect van de meteorietinslag vrijwel direct merkten, in tegenstelling tot een langzame daling veroorzaakt door klimaatverandering of vulkanische activiteit.”
Daarnaast blijkt uit het onderzoek dat de meteorietinslag overal ter wereld zijn sporen achterliet. De inslag nekte niet alleen de dino’s, maar roeide ook veel andere dieren uit, zelfs bij de verre zuidpool.
Astronomen hebben diverse aanwijzingen gevonden dat de planeet – op 1200 lichtjaar van de aarde – wellicht leefbaar is.
Kepler-62f werd in 2013 ontdekt en draait om een ster die iets kleiner en koeler is dan de zon. Naast Kepler-62f draaien er nog vier planeten rond deze ster. Kepler-62f is van al deze planeten het verst van de ster verwijderd. De planeet is ongeveer 40 procent groter dan de aarde.
Leefbaar Hoewel we aardig wat van deze planeet weten, is er ook veel onbekend. Zo is niet helemaal duidelijk of de planeet leefbaar is. We weten dat deze 40 procent groter is dan de aarde en dat betekent dat deze waarschijnlijk rotsachtig is. Maar is er op het oppervlak van de planeet ook vloeibaar water – een belangrijke vereiste voor het leven zoals wij dat kennen – te vinden?
KOOLSTOFDIOXIDE
De atmosfeer van de aarde bestaat voor 0,04 procent uit het broeikasgas koolstofdioxide. Dit gas houdt de aarde warm. Omdat Kepler-62f verder van zijn ster verwijderd is, heeft deze meer koolstofdioxide nodig om warm genoeg te zijn om vloeibaar water te bezitten.
Verschillende scenario’s In die vraag hebben Amerikaanse onderzoekers zich nu vastgebeten. Ze schetsten verschillende scenario’s waarin de atmosfeer van de planeet en de baan van de planeet er elke keer een beetje anders uitzag. Vervolgens keken ze of de planeet met die baan en atmosfeer vloeibaar water kon bezitten. Zo keken ze bijvoorbeeld hoe het de planeet verging als deze een atmosfeer had die net zo dik was als de aarde, maar ook hoe de situatie was als de atmosfeer twaalf keer dikker was. Ook gingen ze uit van verschillende concentraties koolstofdioxide (van dezelfde concentratie als de atmosfeer van de aarde tot concentraties die 2500 keer hoger liggen, zie kader). Uit het onderzoek bleek dat veel van deze scenario’s de planeet in staat stellen om leefbaar te zijn.
Dikke atmosfeer Om het hele jaar door leefbaar te zijn, zou de planeet een atmosfeer nodig hebben die drie tot vijf keer dikker is dan de aardse atmosfeer en volledig uit koolstofdioxide bestaat. Het is zeker niet ondenkbaar dat de concentratie koolstofdioxide op Kepler-62f zo hoog ligt. Maar zelfs als de concentratie net zo hoog is als op aarde, kan er op de planeet – als deze een specifieke baan volgt – een groot deel van het jaar nog vloeibaar water te vinden zijn, zo stellen de onderzoekers. En daarmee is Kepler 62f een goede kandidaat voor leven.
De afgelopen jaren zijn er duizenden exoplaneten ontdekt. Een aantal ervan bevindt zich in de leefbare zone, wat betekent dat er mogelijk vloeibaar water op het oppervlak te vinden is. Maar op welke van deze potentieel leefbare planeten moeten we straks met behulp van krachtigere telescopen op zoek naar sporen van leven? Dit onderzoek kan helpen, omdat het op wetenschappelijke wijze de kans berekent dat een planeet leefbaar is.

De foto’s zijn gemaakt door ruimtesonde New Horizons en hebben een resolutie van 80 meter per pixel. En daarmee zijn het veruit de meest gedetailleerde foto’s die we van Pluto hebben.
New Horizons maakte de foto’s op 14 juli, toen deze langs dwergplaneet Pluto scheerde. Tijdens die scheervlucht verzamelde de ruimtesonde een schat aan informatie over Pluto en zijn manen. Die informatie stuurt de sonde geleidelijk aan richting de aarde. En nu zijn dan – eindelijk – alle foto’s met de hoogste resolutie die New Horizons van Pluto maakte, binnen.
Mozaïek NASA voegde de foto’s samen tot één grote foto (een soort mozaïek eigenlijk). En die foto stelt wetenschappers in staat om zelfs de kleinste details op Pluto te bestuderen en vast te stellen hoe deze zijn ontstaan. Onderzoeker Alan Stern noemt de foto ‘magnetisch’. Zijn oog blijft er naar toe trekken. “De foto zorgt ervoor dat ik verlang naar nog een missie naar Pluto om hoge resolutiebeelden zoals deze van het gehele oppervlak te maken.
Eén zijde Want dat heeft New Horizons niet gedaan. De sonde scheerde langs Pluto en heeft dus maar één zijde van de dwergplaneet in detail kunnen fotograferen. De hoge resolutie-beelden die je hier ziet, beslaan slechts een klein stukje van die zijde van Pluto (zie afbeelding hiernaast). Maar wat zo mooi is, is dat dit kleine stukje van Pluto een grote verscheidenheid aan landschappen vertoont die we nu dus in detail kunnen bekijken.
Variatie genoeg We zien heuvelachtige, met kraters bedekte terreinen die overlopen in een gebied met parallel aan elkaar gelegen heuveltjes, dat weer overloopt in een chaotisch berglandschap, dat weer plaatsmaakt voor een vrij ‘glad’ terrein, om weer uit te komen in een bergachtig landschap. A GREEN energy expert, who helped shape UK renewable power policies, says he is convinced aliens have been secretly implanting extra terrestrial DNA into pregnant humans.
Experts claim that extraterrestrials have made hybrids with humans
Author Miguel Mendonça, 42, now claims the so-called alien-hybrid community is expanding on Earth and vital to the future of the human race because of how they are helping us "evolve into higher beings".
Mr Mendonça, who suffers with MS, the illness that leaves suffers with neurological symptoms, muscle pain and severe physical and mental exhaustion, even feels better with increased energy levels for having regular contact with the hybrids, although he stressed it could not cure his condition.
He said: "It's made no difference to my condition, but I do feel better on some levels."
Mr Mendonça, from Bristol, was formerly research manager for the World Future Council, which promotes best policy renewable power sources, and has written extensively on green energy policy.
However, for his latest publication, Meet The Hybrids: The Lives And Missions of ET Ambassadors On Earth published by Amazon and co-authored with Barbara Lamb, he spent time interviewing eight people who claim they have grown up with implanted alien DNA in their bodies and are part of a mission to improve mankind.
Ms Lamb has held great interest in the claims since she first heard them and has been an alien abduction researcher since the 1980s.
Mr Mendonça said he began the project with an open mind, but after finishing the research was convinced they were telling the truth and thinks he has now solved the mystery of why UFOs allegedly visit the Earth.

He said: "I try to keep my feet on the ground as much as possible.
"My background is in renewable energy policy gained as an academic, so I have to be sure of my facts.
"These hybrids are raising the vibration and awakening people. I have begun to go through this process and to me it is undeniable.
"Whenever someone with a strong ET aspect talks to me I feel my energy shift - it just goes through the roof.
"I find myself seeing energy with my third eye.
"I am a writer, and just wanted to share their stories, and had no clue I would be affected, it's changed my life.
"I will try to use what has been revealed. For one thing, it has solved some of the mystery of the UFO subject.
"We know why they are coming here and who they are."

In researching the book, each 'hybrid' was given the same set of questions to answer, including how they discovered they were a hybrid, what their genetic make-up was, and why they were here on Earth.
Mr Mendonça told Express.co.uk: "What became clear was how similar each of their accounts were. These were hybrids independent of each other who were describing the same experiences."
Among the interviewees was Robert Frost-Fullington, 36, from California, in the US.
He claimed to have DNA from four alien species known as reptilians, Sirians, Tall Whites and those which appear like a praying mantis.
He claimed in the book to have had implants inserted under his tongue at the age of five, before experiencing several encounters with aliens.
After periods of "conscious recall", in 2011, he said he realised he was a hybrid.
Asked how he was created, he said: "When the human woman becomes pregnant, she's taken up onto a craft and the beings will take the embryo and create a genetic overlay."
But far from seeing this non-consensual kidnap and interference as sinister, Mr Frost-Fullington and other hydbrids, including women, claim it is being done in the interest of humanity.
The people interviewed claimed their mission on Earth was to "raise" what they believe is a "frequency" on Earth by increasing an energy they refer to as "vibrations."
They all suggested this was triggering an ascension to take place, whereby humans will evolve from the third to an alleged fifth dimension, and lead more spiritual rather than physical lives.
Things such as war and violence are likely to end, it is claimed.
Tatiana Amore, 34, from southern England, was also interviewed, and said she was predominately of the "Pleiadian" race.
She said: "I understand the Earth is now changing to a new frequency which is meant to be lighter and better for humans."
However, although the hybrid were described as independent, one of them was Cynthia Crawford, 67, from Arizona.
It became clear in the book she had counselled and met several of the other interviewees before the research began.

Mrs Crawford and Mrs Lamb also both spoke at the 2011 Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) annual convention at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Irvine, California, according to skepticblog.com.
Express.co.uk asked Mr Mendonça why he had not extended the research to interviewing the alleged hybrid's parents, or more scientific tests, such as putting the subjects through DNA and lie detector testing, and locating their alleged implants for further examination.
Mr Mendonça said: "Some said their parents were freaked out or did not want to know because they were old-school Christians."
He did not believe DNA screening would show anything unusual, because: "All it would find is their normal code and it would ignore anything else."
He added that they were reluctant to give up their DNA samples amid fears "secret military projects would use it to create human super soldiers."
But he added: "Robert is apparently warming to the idea of doing DNA testing, but we did not ask people to submit to DNA tests as much as anything because we did not have funding for that."
He added he had not considered the use of lie detectors or scans for implants, but that there had been an "independent verification" of interviewee Charmaine D'Rozario-Saytch, a 28-year-old woman from southern England, having a "possible implant".

Depuis des décennies, on spécule sur l’existence de nouvelles forces macroscopiques qui seraient analogues à l’interaction magnétique entre deux aimants. Ces forces dépendraient des spins entre deux particules. On vient d’améliorer les tests sur leur existence d’un facteur d’environ un million en utilisant une population d’électrons associée aux atomes de fer dans le manteau de la Terre.
Les forces électriques entre les électrons, les quarks ou d’autres particules chargées dépendent de leurs charges. Les théories de Yang-Mills à la base des autres interactions du modèle standardutilisent des sortes de généralisations des charges et des champs électriques pour décrire la force nucléaire forte et la force électrofaible. Dans une certaine mesure, la masse d’une particule élémentaire est l’analogue de la charge électrique pour le champ de gravitation, qui est aussi décrit par des équations de type Yang-Mills, les équations de la relativité générale.
Toutefois, on sait qu’il existe dans la nature des forces entre des objets qui ne semblent pas directement liées aux charges entre les particules, mais plutôt à une autre caractéristique fondamentale : le spin. C’est le cas des forces entre des aimants qui reposent ultimement sur le fait que les électrons doués de spin se comportent comme des dipôles magnétiques en interaction.
Généralisations des forces entre aimants
On s’est donc demandé s'il existe dans la nature des généralisations des forces magnétiques, faisant intervenir dans leur formulation mathématique non plus des produits de charges électriques mais des produits des expressions mathématiques décrivant leur spin. Incontestablement, on peut construire des théories mathématiques cohérentes prédisant des forces à plus ou moins longue portée entre des particules douées de spin. Mais la parole était à l’expérience.
Le prix Nobel de physique Norman Ramsey a été le premier à chercher des traces de ces nouvelles interactions en 1979. Il en a conclu que les effets mesurés entre deux protons ne différaient pas de ceux auxquels on s’attendait du fait des interactions magnétiques standard similaires, à la limite des mesures de l’époque.

Vers 1984, le futur prix Nobel de physique Frank Wilczek a publié avec un collègue un article dans lequel il a relié l’hypothèse d’un nouveau couplage spin-spin entre deux particules à celle de l’échange entre ces dernières d’un boson scalaire bien particulier. Il s'agit de celui qu’il venait d’introduire dans le monde de la physique théorique : l’axion. Il faut savoir en effet qu’au bout du compte, le couplage magnétique entre deux spins de particules chargées fait intervenir un échange dit virtuel d’un boson bien connu : le photon.
Plus généralement, les années passant, plusieurs chercheurs ont emboîté le pas de Wilczek en introduisant divers nouveaux bosons susceptibles de donner lieu à des forces qui dépendent d’un couplage spin-spin. Des expériences délicates ont été entreprises afin de détecter l’existence d’une cinquième force à plus ou moins longue portée, nécessairement très faible pour avoir échappé jusqu’ici à toute détection. Au cours du temps, elles n’ont fait que repousser lentement les limites concernant les paramètres des théories proposées.
1042 géoélectrons polarisés à l'intérieur de la Terre
De façon remarquable, un groupe de physiciens des particules élémentaires et de géophysiciens vient de publier un article dans Science qui améliore brutalement d’un facteur de l’ordre d’un million la précision des tests sur l’existence d’un couplage spin-spin, autre que magnétique, entre des fermions du modèle standard.
Pour obtenir ce résultat spectaculaire, les chercheurs ont utilisé l’influence de ce qu’ils appellent des géoélectrons à l’intérieur de la Terre et ce sur trois expériences. Ces géoélectrons sont des électrons non appariés d'atomes de fer du manteau et de la croûte terrestre. Ils ont tendance à s’orienter avec leur spin le long des lignes de champ magnétique générées par la géodynamo. On dit qu’ils sont polarisés.
En se basant sur un modèle géophysique de l’intérieur de la Terre, il a d’abord fallu calculer le nombre et la répartition de ces géoélectrons polarisés. Une fois la carte de leur densité établie, il est devenu possible de calculer l’effet d’une éventuelle cinquième force sur certaines expériences. Une partie d’entre elles avaient pour but initial de déceler d’éventuelles violations de l’invariance de Lorentz, et utilisaient aussi le phénomène de résonance magnétique nucléaire.
Il se trouve que si les géoélectrons sont parfois à des milliers de kilomètres de ces expériences, leur nombre, estimé à 1042, compenserait largement cet inconvénient, à savoir une décroissance rapide de la cinquième force avec la distance. Ces géoélectrons seraient en effet responsable d’une force bien plus intense que celles théoriquement produites en laboratoire entre deux dispositifs, distants de quelques mètres tout au plus, et destinés spécifiquement à découvrir une nouvelle interaction avec un couplage spin-spin.
La chasse à la cinquième force continuera
Les résultats sont pour le moment négatifs, mais les chercheurs pensent pouvoir repousser encore les bornes sur l’intensité d’une cinquième force de ce genre en effectuant une nouvelle expérience en un lieu plus approprié : la Thaïlande. D’après leur modèle de répartition des géoélectrons, c’est en effet dans le sud de ce pays que les effets recherchés seraient les plus intenses et permettraient de repousser encore d’un facteur deux la précision des mesures.
En tout état de cause, ce travail est un exemple de plus des interactions surprenantes et imprévues que l’on peut rencontrer entre deux domaines de recherche à priori disjoints, à savoir la géophysique et la physique des particules. Ce n’est cependant pas la première fois. On se souvient du rôle des géoneutrinos.
Mais depuis peu, des physiciens en Hongrie pensent qu’ils pourraient avoir trouvé des preuves d’une cinquième force. Et, si elle est vérifiée, cela voudrait dire que nous aurons besoin de revoir nos connaissances sur la façon dont l’Univers fonctionne réellement.
Refaisons un point sur les 4 forces certifiées, car elles sont assez importantes. Elles sont un élément fondamental du modèle standard de la physique, qui explique tous les comportements et les particules que nous voyons dans l’Univers. En simplifiant et en commençant par la plus grande extrémité de l’échelle, la gravité est responsable de l’attraction des corps massifs entre eux (les planètes par exemple) et la force électromagnétique fait la même chose, mais de manière différente, avec nos molécules. A l’autre bout de l’échelle, il y a la force nucléaire forte qui est la colle pour les noyaux atomiques et la force nucléaire faible qui permet à certains atomes de passer par la désintégration radioactive (réaction nucléaire dans les étoiles, par exemple). Ensemble, ces forces expliquent, plus ou moins, la physique que nous pouvons observer.
La preuve de cette cinquième force a été repérée l’année dernière, quand une équipe de l’Académie hongroise des sciences a rapporté qu’ils avaient projeté des protons sur du lithium-7 et dans les retombé de l’interaction, avoir détecté un nouveau boson super-léger qui était seulement 34 fois plus lourd qu’un électron.
Aussi important que cela puisse paraitre, le papier n’a pas eu l’attention nécessaire et fut oublié jusqu’à ce qu’une équipe aux États-Unis publie leur propre analyse des données à la fin du mois dernier.
L’équipe américaine, dirigée par Jonathan Feng de l’université de Californie, a montré que les données ne rentrent pas en conflit avec les expériences précédentes et elle a calculé que le nouveau boson pourrait en effet être porteur d’une cinquième force fondamentale. C’est à partir de ce moment que le monde de la science a commencé à s’y intéresser.
Ce document n’a pas encore été examiné par des pairs (peer-reviewed), mais il a été diffusé de telle sorte que les autres physiciens puissent vérifier les résultats et ajouter leurs propres conclusions, ce qui est le cas actuellement.
Ainsi des chercheurs du monde entier s’efforcent d’effectuer des tests de suivi pour vérifier la découverte hongroise et nous pouvons nous attendre à des résultats dans environ un an.
Mais qu’est-ce qu’un boson super-léger a à voir avec une nouvelle force de la nature ?
Ce n’est pas la première fois que des chercheurs ont affirmé avoir détecté une cinquième force. De nombreux scientifiques pensent qu’il pourrait y avoir une particule, appelée “photon noir”, qui pourrait mener à une nouvelle force permettant d’expliquer lamatière noire, cette substance invisible qui représente plus de 80 % de la masse de l’Univers.
Voilà ce que l’équipe hongroise, dirigée par le physicien Attila Krasznahorkay, cherchait. Pour ce faire, ils ont tiré des protons sur des cibles minces de lithium-7, une collision qui a créé des noyaux instables de béryllium 8, qui se sont ensuite décomposés en paires d’électrons et de positrons.
Selon Edwin Cartlidge :
Selon le modèle standard, les physiciens devraient constater que le nombre de ces paires observées diminue à mesure que l’angle séparant la trajectoire de l’électron et du positon augmente.
Mais cela n’a pas été ce que l’équipe a vu. A environ 140 degrés, le nombre de ces paires a grimpé, ce qui crée une petite bosse avant de retomber à nouveau à des angles plus élevés.
Cette “bosse” était la preuve d’une nouvelle particule, selon Krasznahorkay et son équipe. Ils ont calculé que la masse de cette nouvelle particule serait autour des 17 mégaélectronvolts, ce qui n’était pas attendu pour le “photon noir”, mais pourrait être la preuve de toute autre chose.
Les chercheurs sont très confiants quant à leurs résultats expérimentaux. Selon eux, les chances que cette bosse soit une anomalie sont d’environ 1 200 milliards, mais il faut garder à l’esprit qu’aucune autre équipe n’a encore confirmé leurs résultats.
L’analyse par l’équipe de Feng aux États-Unis n’était pas une répétition de l’expérience, mais des calculs pour vérifier que, théoriquement au moins, le boson super-léger détecté par Krasznahorkay pourrait être capable de porter une nouvelle force fondamentale.
La communauté scientifique reste encore assez sceptique, concernant cette découverte, surtout en voyant que le boson super-léger n’était pas ce que l’on s’attendait à trouver.
Il ne reste plus qu’à attendre les résultats de ces autres équipes scientifiques, dans un an !

One of the most studied events in the Earth’s history isn’t even one with humans in it: the asteroid impact that wiped out the dinosaurs. Almost 65 million years ago, the asteroid is theorized to have wiped out much of life on our planet. But some have argued whether it had the same effect in the poles, far from the impact zone in the Gulf of Mexico.
Until now.
A new study of more than 6,000 marine fossils from the Antarctic shows that the same event that killed the dinosaurs was sudden and just as deadly to life in the polar regions.
In a research published in Nature Communications, scientists from the University of Leeds and the British Antarctic Survey on Seymour Island in the Antarctic Peninsula were engaged in a six-year process of identifying more than 6,000 marine fossils ranging in age from 65 to 69 million-years-old.
They found that when grouped by age, the fossil collection shows a dramatic 65-70% reduction in the number of species living in the Antarctic 66 million years ago – around the time the mass extinction event occurred that wiped out the dinosaurs at the end of the Cretaceous Period.
CONFLICTING THEORIES
Up until now, it was thought that the creatures living in the southernmost regions of the planet would have been in a less perilous position during the mass extinction event than those elsewhere on Earth.
It was thought that the poles were far enough from any of the hypothesized causes of the mass extinction event, whether its the much-popular asteroid impact in the Gulf of Mexico or extreme volcanism in the Deccan volcanic province in India.
It was also theorized that the species in the Antarctic would have had a hard enough time to survive, as a result of living in environments that were always strongly seasonal. For example, life near the Poles has to adapt to living in darkness for half of the year and to an irregular food supply.
What is the Bermuda Triangle? The Bermuda Triangle is a region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean in which ships, planes, and people are alleged to have mysteriously vanished.

And all these happen when apparently there are no human errors, equipment failures or even natural disasters. Strangely, the ships and aircraft just vanish when everything seems to be okay.
Many believe that Devil is at play here and therefore call the area also as Devil's Triangle. The facts however are quite far from what is generally known or believed to be true. There are many stories and myths created through sheer imagination of writers who have used them rampantly to draw publicity to their books. In many cases, the facts got blurred.
