A group of scientists confirmed that there is a pear-shaped nucleus. Not only does this violate some laws in physics, but also suggests that time travel is not possible.

A new form of atomic nuclei has been confirmed by scientists in a recent study published in the journal Physical Review Letters. The pear-shaped, asymmetrical nuclei, first observed in 2013 by researchers from CERN in the isotope Radium-224, is also present in the isotope Barium-144.

This is a monumental importance because most fundamental theories in physics are based on symmetry. This recent confirmation shows that it is possible to have a nuclei that has more mass on one side than the other. “This violates the theory of mirror symmetry and relates to the violation shown in the distribution of matter and antimatter in our Universe,” said Marcus Scheck of University of the West of Scotland, one of the authors of the study.
Until recently, there were three shapes of nuclei — spherical, discuss, and rugby ball. There is a specific combination of protons and neutrons in a certain type of atom that dictates the shape formed by the distribution of charges within a nuclei. These three shapes are all symmetric and agree with the theory known as the CP-symmetry, the combination of charge and parity symmetry.
In the end, this could help us understand why our universe is the way that it is. As astrophysicist Brian Koberlein notes, “It’s been proposed that a violation of CP symmetry could have produced more matter than antimatter, but the currently known violations are not sufficient to produce the amount of matter we see. If there are other avenues of CP violation hidden within pear-shaped nuclei, they could explain this mystery after all.”
This uneven distribution of mass and charge in the nuclei causes the isotope to ‘point’ in a certain direction in spacetime, and the team suggests that this could explain why time seems to to only go forward and not backward.
“We’ve found these nuclei literally point towards a direction in space. This relates to a direction in time, proving there’s a well-defined direction in time and we will always travel from past to present,” Marcus Scheck from the University of the West of Scotland told Kenneth MacDonald at BBC News.
That said, it is a rather speculative hypothesis, but it does raise some rather interesting avenues for investigation.
In the end, this recent discovery is another indication that the Universe might not be what we thought, which could propel us to a new era of theoretical physics.

Scientists are beginning to tap into a wellspring of knowledge buried in the ancient stories of Australia’s Aboriginal peoples. But the loss of indigenous languages could mean it is too late to learn from them.
The Luritja people, native to the remote deserts of central Australia, once told stories about a fire devil coming down from the Sun, crashing into Earth and killing everything in the vicinity.
The local people feared if they strayed too close to this land they might reignite some otherworldly creature.
The legend describes the landing of a meteor in Australia’s Central Desert about 4,700 years ago, says University of New South Wales (UNSW) astrophysicist Duane Hamacher.
It would have been a dramatic and fiery event, with the meteor blazing across the sky. As it broke apart, large fragments of metal-rich rock would have crashed to Earth with explosive force, creating a dozen giant craters.
The Northern Territory site, which was discovered in the 1930s by white prospectors with the help of Luritja guides, is today known as the Henbury Meteorites Conservation Reserve.

Mr Hamacher, who runs an Indigenous astronomy program at UNSW, says evidence is mounting that Aboriginal stories hold clues about events from Australia’s ancient past.
Last year, he travelled to Victoria with tsunami expert James Goff, also from UNSW, to visit members of the Gunditjmara people
“They describe this gigantic wave coming very far inland and killing everybody except those who were up on the mountaintops, and they actually name all the different locations where people survived,” says Mr Hamacher.
He and Mr Goff took core samples from locations between 500m and 1km (0.6 miles) inland, and at each spot, they found a layer of ocean sediment, about 2m down, indicating that a tsunami likely washed over the area hundreds, or possibly thousands, of years ago.
The samples need further analysis but Mr Hamacher says it is a “very exciting” result that suggests the legend could be true.
Earlier this year, another team of researchers presented a paper arguing that stories from Australia’s coastal Aboriginal communities might “represent genuine and unique observations” of sea level rises that occurred between 7,000 and 11,000 years ago.

Nick Reid, a linguistics expert from the University of New England in Australia, co-authored the paper with marine geographer Patrick Nunn from the University of the Sunshine Coast.

The stories they analysed, which had been documented in colonial times, referred to water levels rising over coastal areas that were once dry.
By looking at historical records of sea level rise following the last glacial period, about 20,000 years ago, they were able to match the stories to coinciding dates.
Mr Reid says the relative isolation of Australia’s indigenous people – living for 50,000 years more or less free from cultural disruptions – and the conservative nature of their culture could help explain why there is so much detail in their stories.
“Aboriginal people have very particular beliefs about the importance of telling stories properly, and about stories being told by the right people,” he says.
They also employ a rigid kin-based, cross-generational system of fact-checking stories, involving grandchildren, parents, and elders, which Mr Reid says doesn’t seem to be used by other cultures.
This extreme conservatism and adherence to accuracy can also be seen in rock paintings, drawings and engravings, which were often used to support oral legends, says Les Bursill, an anthropologist and member of Sydney’s Dharawal people.

“They are replicated time after time after time, and if they vary, even by not very much at all, they are scraped off and re-done,” he says.
Secret knowledge
But Mr Bursill doesn’t think Aboriginal communities are interested in sharing their knowledge with modern Australia.
Non-indigenous academics recognise that some Aboriginal communities are suspicious of outsiders.
But Mr Hamacher says his research group has been approached by a number of Aboriginal communities keen to tell their stories.
He says this sharing must be met with a “giving back process” that benefits the Indigenous community.
His team, for instance, has developed a range of educational materials relating to astronomy, which are now taught in remote schools.
It is all part of a growing recognition that Indigenous knowledge has a lot to offer the scientific community.
Australia’s national science organisation, the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), is working with Indigenous communities to improve environmental management practices, in order to prevent wildfires and improve ecological health and biodiversity.
But there is a problem – Indigenous languages are dying off at an alarming rate, making it increasingly difficult for scientists and other experts to benefit from such knowledge. More than 100 languages have already become extinct since white settlement.
About 145 Indigenous languages are still spoken in Australia by at least one person but a 2014 report by the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies found that 75% of these were considered “critically endangered”.

An ancient “flying machine” (or parts thereof) reportedly were discovered in a cave in Afghanistan and retreived in 2012, and the news was immediately hushed. The hushed report of the ‘find’ did attracted the attention of world leaders including Barack Obama.
The Vimana (a flying machine often described in Sanskrit texts) was discovered by a group of 8 U.S. soldiers on a mission in the desert of Afghanistan.
The 5,000 year old machine is believed to be protected by an energy barrier, preventing the troops from removing it from the cave.
US Military scientists were deployed to Afghanistan to investigate the disappearance of the eight American soldiers (who were later found asleep after a hard day), and to get more information in what is causing the Vimana to be entrapped in what some are calling a “time well” in the cave.
From the ancient accounts found in the Sanskrit epic The Mahabharata a Vimana is described as measuring twelve cubits in circumference, with four strong wheels. Apart from its ‘blazingmissiles’, The Mahabharata records the use of its other deadly weapons that operated via a circular ‘reflector’. When switched on, it produced a ‘shaft of light’ which, when focused on any target, immediately ‘consumed it with its power’.
According to ancient writings found in the cave where the Vimana was discovered, the rightful owner of the flying machine was reportedly the ancient prophet Zoroaster who was the founder of Zoroastrianism.

Through a computer-simulated study, astronomers at Lund University in Sweden show that it is highly likely that the so-called Planet 9 is an exoplanet. This would make it the first exoplanet to be discovered inside our own solar system. The theory is that our sun, in its youth some 4.5 billion years ago, stole Planet 9 from its original star.
An extrasolar planet, or exoplanet, is by definition a planet located outside our solar system. Now it appears that this definition is no longer viable. According to astronomers in Lund, there is a lot to indicate that Planet 9 was captured by the young sun and has been a part of our solar system completely undetected ever since.
"It is almost ironic that while astronomers often find exoplanets hundreds of light years away in other solar systems, there's probably one hiding in our own backyard," says Alexander Mustill, astronomer at Lund University.
Stars are born in clusters and often pass by one another. It is during these encounters that a star can "steal" one or more planets in orbit around another star. This is probably what happened when our own sun captured Planet 9.
In a computer-simulated model, Alexander together with astronomers in Lund and Bordeaux has shown that Planet 9 was probably captured by the sun when coming in close contact while orbiting another star.
"Planet 9 may very well have been 'shoved' by other planets, and when it ended up in an orbit that was too wide around its own star, our sun may have taken the opportunity to steal and capture Planet 9 from its original star. When the sun later departed from the stellar cluster in which it was born, Planet 9 was stuck in an orbit around the sun," says Alexander Mustill.
"There is still no image of Planet 9, not even a point of light. We don't know if it is made up of rock, ice, or gas. All we know is that its mass is probably around ten times the mass of earth."
It requires a lot more research before it can be ascertained that Planet 9 is the first exoplanet in our solar system. If the theory is correct, Alexander Mustill believes that the study of space and the understanding of the sun and the Earth will take a giant leap forward.
"This is the only exoplanet that we, realistically, would be able to reach using a space probe," he says.

NASA’s Kepler Telescope Discovers a Colossal Artificial Structure Orbiting a Star in Our Vicinity
NASA’s Kepler Telescope has stumbled upon one of the most fascinating discoveries so far – a colossal artificial megastructure believed to have been constructed by an advanced alien civilization.
Besides Kepler’s ability of finding small, rocky worlds orbiting distant stars, it can also detect different space phenomenon like stellar flares, star spots and dusty planetary rings.
This time however, Kepler detected the signal of a supposed vast artificial structure orbiting a star only 1,500 light years away from Earth.
After finishing all plausible explanations, scientists now believe that this complex structure might be an artificial construction made by an advanced alien civilization way up on the Kardashev scale of comparison.
This megastructure works like a supersized solar array orbiting around its host star, stocking the energy and sending it back to the source. The size of the structure is so grand that it’s blocking a considerable fraction of starlight as it spins around its host.
Normally all the exoplanets discovered by Kepler have a typical planet-shape, meaning they are round. This time however, the telescope detected something that isn’t round and behaves unnatural.
A paper has been submitted to the journal Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society in which a particular star named KIC 8462852 is described.
Over the duration of the Kepler mission, KIC 8462852 was observed to undergo irregulary shaped, aperiodic dips in flux down to below the twenty percent level.

Studies mostly focused on two interesting anomalies at KIC 8462852, one that was recorded between days 788 and 795 of the Kepler mission and between days 1510 to 1570.
The first event showed a single transit causing a star brightness drop-off of 15 percent, while the second event manifested as a burst of several transits, possibly indicating towards mass of different objects, resulting in a brightness dip of up to 22 percent. For such a major dip in brightness to occure, the transiting objects have to be extremely big.
Considering that our galaxy has existed for more than 13 billion years, it’s not hard to imagine that an alien civilization may be out there, possessing technology that allows them to build megastructures around stars.

After analyzing all possible situations, scientists concluded that this strange anomaly might be the result of a group of dormant comets recently disturbed by a nearby star. Because this theory is not all that convincing, other researchers are already hypothesizing the possibility of a mega-engineered project created by a Type 2 alien civilization on the Kardashev scale.
This type of aliens would have the ability to use all the available energy radiating from a star. With the help of a vast shell or series of rings surrounding a star, a Dyson sphere-like structure could be constructed. This would block out the star from sight in visible wavelengths, but once the solar energy has been utilized by the alien civilization, the energy would be shifted to longer wavelengths and probably lost as infrared radiation.
Puzzled by these strange recordings, scientists are now trying to point a radio antenna at KIC 8462852 in order to solve the riddle. By doing so, they will be able to detect any artificial radio signals coming from the star and will determine whether or not an intelligent, Type 2 civilization exists in our vicinity, only 1,500 light-years away.
Meanwhile, a second paper is being drafted by top researchers in order to analyze the transit scenario focusing around the possibility of a colossal artificial device engineered by advanced aliens.

Canadian disclosure advocate Victor Viggiani has made a bold step towards the disclosure we all dream about by releasing several secret files from the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Runic Archives. “And I dare the US Government to charge me,” Viggiani said.
This past weekend has seen Canada’s first public hearing on UFOs take place. ET disclosure was once again brought to the discussion table and this time around, some intriguing documents were released.
A recently-retired school principal from Toronto, Victor Viggiani has been researchingUnidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs) for over three decades. When it comes to experience in the area of UFO sightings and anomalous phenomena, he has plenty to go around. Last Saturday, at the Alien Cosmic Expo in Ontario, Canada, Viggiani presented 11 documents that he obtained after filing a Canadian Access of Information Act (AIA) request. The documents reveal some unsettling statistics about what goes on in the sky above our heads.
I have here in front of me eleven documents. I call them the RUNIC Files and they are directly from NORAD indicating that over the last five years an average of 1,800 ‘tracks of interest’ with 75 intercepts. This is directly from the commander of NORAD.”
Mind-blowing. The US-Canadian organization tasked with providing aerospace warning and defense for Northern America intercepts and engages 75 unidentified flying objects per year. This means that the jet fighter pilots manage to get close enough to the UFOs to not only establish visual contact, but also get a target lock. Maybe not all of these encounters feature extraterrestrial airships as primary suspects, but it’s still enough to confirm our suspicions. And remember, this is the number of tracks of interest (TOIs) NORAD officials were willing to disclose. The real number of intercepts could be in the thousands and we wouldn’t even know.
Viggiani’s AIA request was aiming for more complete disclosure, a full “Table of Tracks of Interest” if you will. This was the official NORAD response:
“The request for “Table of Tracks of Interest (TOI) are classified UNCLASSIFIED//FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY (FOUO). It is to be controlled, stored, handled, transmitted, distributed and disposed of in accordance with DOD policy relating to FOUO information and is not to be released to the public, the media or other personnel who do not have a valid need-to-know without prior approval of an authorized NORAD official.”
The document continues with:
“However, the NORAD Commander has approved the release of the following information regarding Tracks of Interest and Unknown Tracks.”
The document that lists the TOIs is a six page record (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) in list form, with some of the entries redacted, on account of the sensitive nature of the information they contained. As Viggiani points out, the “missing information is obviously what they saw when they intercepted.” He continues:
“I also have documents relating to UFOs that have been found by the RCMP. I also have an air traffic control report that references Mr Hellyer’s [Paul Hellyer, former Canadian Defense Minister, big proponent of UFO disclosure] indication that two CF-18s chased three UFOs in 2001 out of Comox Air Force Base, at 35,000 feet and gained contact with these UFOs.”
Another one of the documents (dated November 14, 2008) references the discovery of a metal fragment that “had likely formed part of a vehicle that traveled in outer space.” The fragment had been retrieved by an unnamed pilot from the Wollaston Lake area in Saskatchewan and was to be taken to the National Research Council in Ottawa.
The Alien Cosmic Expo public hearing is only the latest in a series of efforts aiming to uncover the truth behind UFOs and the UAP conundrum. Its organizers and the 350 attendees are only a fraction of the disclosure advocates that are sick and tired of the massive sequestering of information during the past 70 years.
As Stephen G. Bassett, the Executive Director of the Paradigm Research Group bluntly puts it, “in a constitutional democracy, the government has always been given the right to keep secrets, but the government has never been given the right to lie to the people.”
It’s become plenty obvious that this unconstitutional hoarding of information crucial to the future development of mankind has to stop. Victor Viggiani took a daring leap in that direction, even if it meant being threatened with indictment.
“Any distribution of this kind of information,” Viggiani read from the NORAD document,“threatens National Security in addition to the Espionage Act of the United States.”
“I am hereby releasing it to you and I dare the US Government to charge me,” he concluded amid cheering and applause.

Dr. Michael Salla has pointed out that there is a military industrial extraterrestrial complex (MIEC) on the surface of our ‘natural satellite’, and there’s a strong possibility of an alien regime currently operating on the moon in tandem with humans.
To support his claims and those of many others, the Chinese have released an intriguing photo of what appears to be an artificial complex operating on the lunar surface. The image represents yet another confirmation of secret operations carried out up there, and it may also reveal that the Chinese government has been in touch with otherworldly visitors. That, in turn, would also explain why China has been investing massively in radio telescopes.

There’s a chance that the world governments have a secret pact to exploit the moon for its minerals. This pact may be signed by other ET species residing in the Universe, which could explain why this alliance has a secretive nature. However, since greed is a common trait among humans, there shouldn’t be long until someone is excluded out of this alliance, and eventually disclose this secret project to humanity.
Countless rumors speak of an alien base located on the dark side of the moon – the side we never get to see, and it’s no secret that, in 2009, NASA publicly bombed a portion of the moon for unclear reasons. Other leaked images originating from NASA’s headquarters reveal different structures found up there that are likely to be artificial in nature.
Among the most renowned people to speak of this Moon conspiracy is Milton Cooper, a Naval Intelligence Officer who disclosed that the US Navy Intelligence Community knows of the alien base. The term used to describe it is “Luna,” and according to Cooper, its main objective is to mine the underground for certain materials. He also speaks of a massive mother ship found in the vicinity of the moon used by the aliens to store up materials, and also travel to Earth in small “flying saucers” found on the main ship.

So, is it possible that what the Chinese revealed is in fact a small fraction of the mining operation facility called Luna? After all, it strongly resembles the drilling devices used by our own species, and there is no one to debunk it as being a natural formation. (source)

Roughly one century had passed since the invention of proper photographic equipment. Since then, countless pictures and videos of UFOs have surfaced, revealing an entire world of sightings that defy most explanations. Although in the last decades the UFO phenomenon had caught much traction and many appearances were debunked as hoaxes, there’s still plenty of authentic material that never got to be explained through our current scientific means and logic.
But what if our ancestors had video cameras back then? Would humanity accept the existence of otherworldly beings on Earth, or would they still be debunked as fake appearances?
Although they lacked the technological means, our ancestors frequently answered to unusual sightings by depicting them using various tools, and on different materials. Fromcave paintings, to scrolls and books, the UFO phenomenon was known throughout thousands of years, but with this rapid technological shift, our attention was drawn by the fact that we can slowly turn our imagination into reality, thus leaving aside the UFO phenomenon until the beginning of the 1990s.
There is no denial that UFOs exist on this planet, and as video cameras become more complex and affordable at the same time, the quality of recorded sightings grows exponentially. Such is the case of this video showing a group of bright objects behaving unnatural over a secluded forest in Poland.
The objects are known as orb UFOs, and people have reported seeing them all across the world. Contrary to the artificial alien crafts, these playful spheres of light are believed to be organic in nature because of the brisk moves they perform that seem to defy our earthly standards of flying devices capabilities.
Dr. Ruehl has studied them a few decades ago and concluded they are plasmatic entities, possibly from another dimension. They don’t rely on a physical body because they’ve progressed to another level of universal knowledge, thus leaving their material bodies behind. They can now switch from one dimension to another, and when they do so, develop an energy shield around them like the one seen in the video above.
Their shape is not always perfectly round, as they are sometimes seen morphing above the ground. This shapeshifting process makes their aspect undefined and vibrant, similar to how a liquid acts in outer space. Bigger entities sometimes release smaller UFOs, a phenomenon explained through their plasmatic nature that allows them to divide into smaller bits that appear to be sentient as well.
Their purpose on this planet remains a speculative matter. One hypothesis proposed they had been residing on the Earth ever since life began, making them a kind of primordial lifeform that had evolved across countless years of evolution. It is also believed that they exist throughout the entire universe.
Other theories claim these UFOs are alien devices used to monitor humanity. They could be either remote controlled by a species of extraterrestrials, or could be sentient because they are a form of artificial intelligence. However, either cases are not sufficient for explaining their shapeshifting and liquid appearance.
The only proposal in this case would be that intelligent devices/entities possess technology that’s way ahead of our time, thus limiting the comparison field available to our species. In other words, it would be impossible (for now) to understand the technology behind a sentient and artificial-in-nature device that’s monitoring the planet.
Whatever the case, we expect that time will eventually reveal the exact origins and purpose of these UFOS. Until then, keep your eyes on the sky and help us spread the word about this ongoing UFO phenomenon.

Scientists have been working to find a method to degrade plastics that doesn’t require a lot of heat or other energy sources, and which creates a cleaner product.
In a big breakthrough, researchers from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the University of California have found a way to turn plastic trash into liquid fuel. This research is published in the journal Science Advances. It is very significant as the process involved requires less energy and creates a purer end product than other methods. Moreover, it offers an efficient way of turning plastic trash into treasure and will help in reducing the amount of plastics that litter the planet.
How Researchers Managed to Achieve This
The method involves mixing the plastics with an organometallic catalyst (a small, commercially available organic molecule doped with the metal iridium). This reaction weakens bonds responsible for polyethylene’s stiff structure. After this, the team used this breakdown to create a diesel-like fuel.The team also claims that burning this fuel is cleaner than burning other combustible materials.

Eyewitness states: So, we saw several UFO's today above Mt. Shasta. Here is a video with one of the main UFO's, waving around the sky, & flashing, with a darker object under it at times. If you go frame-by-frame, then you can see several other white objects shooting around the sky with extras speed. Separately, there are black objects, some of which may be bugs? We were less than a mile from Bunny Flat, which is at 7,000 feet. Mt. Shasta is over 14,000 feet.
Police officers had experienced one of the fascinating encounters with an alleged structured, low- level UFO in the early morning of April 17, 1966. Portage County, Ohio officers at Sheriff’s Department first noticed the strange object rising from near ground level with bright light.
The sergeant ordered a chase of the object and the personnel did it for 85 miles across the border into Pennsylvania. Police officers from other jurisdictions also joined the aerial pursuit operation.
Mounted Deputy Wilbur ‘Barney’ Neff and Deputy Sheriff Dale Spaur investigated an alleged abandoned automobile on Route 224. Spaur said that he usually look behind him, so no one can come up behind. When he looked in a wooded area behind them, he saw something strange. The mysterious thing came up to approximately tree top level – about a hundred feet. Then it started moving towards them.
Spaur looked at Barney and noticed that he still watching the thing as it came over the trees. Barney was stunned, and the object kept getting brighter and started to light the area. Spaur told Barney to look over his shoulder, and he did.
The bizarre object stopped right over on top of them. They looked down to check their hands and clothes, but they weren’t burning or anything. The only sound in the area was a hum.
They were petrified, and both went inside their car. They observed the UFO moved toward the east and hovered again. Spaur reported their experience to the dispatcher as the object was around 250 feet away, lighting up the area brilliantly.
Sergeant Schoenfelt told them to follow and observe it while they got a photo unit to the scene. Spaur and Neff went south on Route 183, then returned east on Route 224, which put the unknown thing to their right.
They continued the chase while Spaur is in conversation with other police cars that were trying to catch up with them. Police Officer Wayne Huston at East Palestine, Ohio monitored the radio broadcasts, and he saw the UFO pass by with the sheriff’s cruiser in hot pursuit. He eventually joined the chase.
According to Spaur, when the UFO stopped and hovered, there was traffic on the radio about jets being sent to chase the UFO. However, the UFO seemed to hear every word about fighter planes that it went straight up at a very fast speed and gone. Until today, the case is unsolved and continues to be a mystery.

Quebec is on top of the list with the most sightings of unidentified flying objects (UFOs), according to the 2015 Canadian UFO Survey.
Winnipeg-based Ufology Research conducted the survey and released the result on Monday. It says that the year 2015 had the second-largest number of sightings in the last 30 years with 1,267. Second only to a whopping 1,981 sightings in 2012, which was also the alleged year of the end of the world based on the Mayan calendar.
Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta reported more sightings in 2015 than the year before, but Quebec comprises for around 35 per cent of all reports last year. The number of reported sightings in Quebec was way up from previous years when it was only responsible for between five and fifteen percent.
Montreal has 97 reports; Toronto, 78; Vancouver, 69 and Edmonton with just 36 sightings.
The survey reveals that most sightings last about 16 minutes and over 50 percent of the reports were of simple lights in the sky.
The research noted that UFO sighting reports remain high because of several reasons, including better access to reporting sightings, more secret military flights, or the downturn of the economy that causes people to look upward for assistance.
The study also admitted that no concrete evidence of the involvement of extraterrestrial contact of some UFO cases. The continued increase of reported UFO sightings from the public suggests that further examination of the phenomenon by physical, medical and social scientists is needed.

I am pretty sure the Great Flood did happen. While it is popularized as a Christian story in English speaking countries, the Great Flood transcends almost every single culture around the world. So I don’t doubt it happened. But the main issue is where did the water come from? Most of theories I have seen require bending the rules of the observable reality that we live in.
Back in 2011 scientists had discovered a massive cloud of water deep in space.
So, what if as one point one of these clouds passed through our solar system? It would probably take while to get here maybe a couple hundred years. But during that time a couple hundred years 6-7 generations word of mouth was the only real way to pass history. So for them 2 or 3 generations is all it would take to be “forever”.
During that time the Suns reflection and heat in the atmosphere would make it appear to be sparkling water in the sky, which could explain the firmament.
Once the cloud got near Earth and we started passing through it, the frozen water would melt in the atmosphere and completely saturate the air, it would then start raining.
And it would not be localized like what we see now, it would be entire Earth being rained on for an extended period of time. All that water would rush out to the ocean and anything near rivers or oceans, like a human population for example, would be washed out to sea and buried by all the sediments picked up from higher elevation.
Think of the world as one big mud slide. The people living in the higher elevations would not be as threatened by the flooding. And so the more advanced civilization would be destroyed and only the more simple societies in the highlands would be left, hence a reset.
Once this space cloud passed, things would settle down and Earth would have a lot more water content.

The Canada-France-Hawaii 3.6 meter optical/infrared telescope a top the summit of Mauna Kea, a 4200 meter, dormant volcano located on the island of Hawaii spotted a large unknown comet-like object over the Pacific Ocean on June 25, 2016.
MrMBB333 who monitors the recorded CFH data frequently says that he has never seen anything quite like this object. It resembles a comet but it looks like something else, like some kind of cloaked UFO of some sort.
There is strong evidence that UFOs, while flying low enough to be seen from the ground, do cloak themselves with clouds which they apparently generate and mists as camouflage to keep themselves hidden from the people.
It is also said that UFOs which travel dimensional produce a cloud of vapor or moisture in traversing from there to here.
About the strange object above the Pacific Ocean, it certainly doesn’t fit any natural classification of a comet, meteor or cloud. It’s more likely an artificially generated object.

A powerful blue light from the window caught the attention of a passenger on board the jet airliner when he decided to film the strange phenomenon in the clouds.
As we know, anything that's filmed though a window can pick up any light or lights behind camera, but after a closer look at the object, this does not seem to be the case.
Although the sighting was filmed from an unknown location, it doesn’t seem to be fake or CGI. A reasonable explanation for this phenomenon could be a beacon located at the top of a mountain that emits a blinking shining light skyward unless the blue triangular light belongs to a flying object from unknown origin.

Er is mogelijk vloeibaar water te vinden op het oppervlak van Mars. En NASA speelt met de gedachte om Curiosity erop af te sturen.
Zo af en toe verschijnen op het oppervlak van Mars donkere strepen. Ze worden ook wel Recurring Slope Lineae (RSL) genoemd en zijn alleen in de warmere seizoenen op de rode planeet te vinden. De ‘streepjes’ zijn vaak minder dan vijf meter breed en worden korter als de temperatuur op Mars daalt. Gaandeweg verdwijnen ze om – als de temperaturen stijgen – weer terug te keren. Aangenomen wordtdat de donkere strepen gevormd worden door zout, stromend water.

Curiosity Natuurlijk staan onderzoekers te springen om het water nader te bestuderen. En Marsrover Curiosity kan daar wel eens een sleutelrol in gaan spelen. De rover is op het moment bezig om Mount Sharp te beklimmen. En tijdens die beklimming zou de rover ook dichter in de buurt komen van twee hellingen waar deze donkere strepen wel eens gespot zijn. Curiosity zou de hellingen langdurig kunnen bestuderen om te zien of ze door de tijd heen veranderen en te achterhalen of de donkere strepen daadwerkelijk ontstaan door toedoen van water en niet door een ander (droog) verschijnsel.
Voorzichtig Klinkt als een prima plan. Maar NASA is bijzonder voorzichtig. “Het zijn niet alleen steile hellingen,” vertelt onderzoeker Jim Green. Er moet ook rekening gehouden worden met wat hij ‘planetaire bescherming’ noemt. “In andere woorden: hoe kunnen we zoeken naar sporen van leven zonder deze plekken te besmetten met bacteriën van de aarde?”
Gedijen op Mars Voor ruimtevaartuigen de aarde verlaten, worden ze gesteriliseerd: alle micro-organismen die op de ruimtevaartuigen huizen, worden gedood. Maar uitsluiten dat de ruimtevaartuigen op het moment van vertrek nog micro-organismen bevatten, is onmogelijk. Er is dus altijd een kans dat ook op Curiosity nog micro-organismen huizen. Natuurlijk is het leven op Mars – met onder meer extreme schommelingen in temperatuur – hard. Maar sommige micro-organismen kunnen zich – zeker als ze in kieren en gaten van Curiosity huizen – wellicht prima op de rode planeet redden. Het is natuurlijk niet de bedoeling dat deze micro-organismen ook op de rode planeet gaan gedijen, iets wat kan gebeuren als ze in een gebied terechtkomen met eigenschappen die gunstig zijn voor leven, zoals de aanwezigheid van water. De aardse bacteriën kunnen op Mars belangrijk bewijsmateriaal (voor de aanwezigheid van Martiaans leven) vernietigen of wetenschappers op het verkeerde been zetten doordat ze aangezien worden voor Martiaanse bacteriën.
Afweging Natuurlijk moeten dergelijke situaties voorkomen worden. En dus moet NASA goed nadenken alvorens deze Curiosity naar de donkere strepen stuurt. Hoe groot moet de afstand tussen Curiosity en de donkere strepen minimaal zijn om elk risico uit te sluiten? “Dat is de vraag die we al vroeg in het proces moeten beantwoorden,” stelt onderzoeker Catharine Conley. Ze stelt dat een kilometers grote afstand waarschijnlijk geen probleem is. “Maar als we veel dichterbij willen komen, moeten we op voorhand goed weten hoe groot de kans is dat aardse organismen van de rover komen zetten en dat vertelt ons dan hoe ver de rover (van de strepen, red.) weg moet blijven.”
Curiosity werd in 2011 gelanceerd en arriveerde in 2012 op Mars. Het belangrijkste doel van de rover? Vaststellen of Mars leefbaar is of dat ooit was. Ergens in de komende maanden zal moeten blijken of ook het bestuderen van de donkere strepen op Mars tot het takenpakket van de rover gaat behoren.

De dwergplaneet is bedekt met ijs. Maar daaronder schuilt waarschijnlijk een oceaan die in ieder geval nog niet volledig bevroren is.
Tot die conclusie komen onderzoekers in het blad Geophysical Research Letters. Ze baseren zich onder meer op de laatste gegevens van ruimtesonde New Horizons.
Spannende dwergplaneet In juli vorig jaar scheerde ruimtesonde New Horizons langs Pluto en zijn manen. Al snel werd duidelijk dat de dwergplaneet allesbehalve saai was. Het oppervlak was bedekt met verschillende soorten ijs: water-, stikstof- en methaanijs. Bovendien ontdekten onderzoekers op de beelden die New Horizons van Pluto maakte talloze interessante tektonische kenmerken, waaronder kilometers lange en kilometers diepe breuken. Al snel concludeerden de onderzoekers dat het zeer aannemelijk was dat onder het ijzige oppervlak van de dwergplaneet een oceaan huisde. “Wat New Horizons ons liet zien, was dat er op Pluto tektonische kenmerken te vinden zijn die erop wijzen dat Pluto een periode van wereldwijde expansie heeft doorgemaakt. Een ondergrondse oceaan die langzaam bevroor zou zo’n soort expansie kunnen bewerkstelligen.”
Het ontstaan van een oceaan Onderzoekers denken dat de kern van Pluto ooit veel warmte producerende radioactieve elementen bevatte. Deze zorgden ervoor dat een deel van de ijzige korst die Pluto bedekt, smolt. Maar omdat Pluto ver van de zon verwijderd is, zou het een kwestie van tijd zijn voor die oceaan weer bevroor. En wanneer water bevriest, zet het uit. De ijzige korst moet dan ‘mee rekken’ en kan gaan scheuren. Het resultaat: breuken aan het oppervlak. En die zien we ook op Pluto.
Deels vloeibaar Pluto had dus waarschijnlijk ooit een oceaan en die is gaan bevriezen. Maar hoe staat het nu met die oceaan? Is deze nog steeds aan het bevriezen? Of is de oceaan miljarden jaren geleden al volledig bevroren? Over die vragen bogen onderzoekers van Brown University zich. Gewapend met een model en geüpdatete gegevens van New Horizons gingen ze na hoe het nu met de oceaan zit. En het model suggereert dat de oceaan onder het oppervlak van Pluto nog niet volledig bevroren is. Want wanneer de oceaan volledig bevroren zou zijn, zou het normale ijs waar deze uit bestaat – onder de enorme druk en lage temperatuur waar het binnenste van Pluto mee te maken heeft – snel veranderen in ijs II. Dit ijs heeft een compactere structuur en een oceaan gevuld met dit ijs heeft dus minder ruimte nodig. Een volledig bevroren ondergrondse oceaan zou dan ook niet leiden tot een wereldwijde expansie, maar tot een wereldwijde krimp. Maar: “We zien geen dingen op het oppervlak die we zouden verwachten als er sprake is van wereldwijde krimp,” vertelt onderzoeker Noah Hammond. “Dus we concluderen dat ijs II zich nog niet gevormd heeft en dat de oceaan dus niet compleet bevroren is.”
Een prachtige foto van de atmosfeer van Pluto. Het lijkt erop dat op deze foto een wolk te zien is: de allereerste wolk die in de atmosfeer van de dwergplaneet is aangetroffen.

Slag om de arm Overigens houden de onderzoekers wel een kleine slag om de arm. Ze wijzen erop dat ijs II alleen kan ontstaan als de ijskorst aan het oppervlak van Pluto minimaal 260 kilometer dik is. Als de korst dunner is, kan de oceaan volledig bevroren zijn zonder dat er ijs II ontstond. En als dat is gebeurd, zou er ook geen krimp plaatsvinden. De onderzoekers benadrukken echter dat hun model suggereert dat de ijskap op Pluto tegen de 300 kilometer (misschien zelfs meer) dik is. En ook het stikstof- en methaanijs op het oppervlak van Pluto is goed nieuws voor de ondergrondse oceaan. “Deze exotische ijssoorten isoleren goed en voorkomen mogelijk dat Pluto meer warmte verliest.”
Er zijn al met al dus sterke aanwijzingen dat de oceaan onder het oppervlak van Pluto nog niet volledig bevroren is. “Dat is verbazingwekkend,” stelt Hammond. “Dat er op zo’n grote afstand van de zon op Pluto een oceaan met vloeibaar water kan bestaan en dat hetzelfde wellicht mogelijk is op andere Kuipergordelobjecten is ongelooflijk.”
De afstand tussen ruimtevaartuig Juno en Jupiter wordt iedere dag kleiner en is momenteel minder dan acht miljoen kilometer. Dit betekent dat de gasplaneet al goed te zien is.
Op een foto die Juno op 21 juni maakte, is niet alleen Jupiter te zien. Ook de vier grootste manen van de gasplaneet – Io, Europa, Ganymedes en Callisto – hangen als kroonjuwelen om de koning der planeten. Tijdens het maken van de foto was de afstand nog bijna elf miljoen kilometer.
De komende dagen worden de beelden alsmaar scherper. Juno arriveert namelijk op 4 juli bij Jupiter en zal dan langs de polen om de planeet draaien. Het ruimtevaartuig scheert rakelings langs de gaslagen om erachter te komen wat er onder het dikke wolkendek van Jupiter schuilgaat. Ook hopen wetenschappers te achterhalen hoe de gasreus is ontstaan.
De laatste dagen voor de aankomst bij Jupiter gaan spannend worden. We krijgen dan niet veel foto’s te zien, omdat de instrumenten zich klaarmaken voor de aankomst bij de gasplaneet. Pas twee dagen na aankomst bij Jupiter draaien de instrumenten naar buiten, waarna er foto’s gemaakt kunnen worden. “We zien de wolkenbanden zoals we ze nog nooit eerder zagen”, zegt hoofdonderzoeker Scott Bolton van het Southwest Research Institute. “Zelfs de Grote Rode Vlek.”
De Juno-ruimtesonde is op 5 augustus 2011 gelanceerd en is momenteel dus al bijna vijf jaar onderweg. Dat is een flinke reis. Gelukkig komt het doelwit nu in beeld.

Over een week arriveert ruimtesonde Juno bij Jupiter. En in wat voor toestand gaat Juno Jupiter aantreffen? Nieuwe beelden lichten een tipje van de sluier op.
De beelden zijn gemaakt door ESO’s Very Large Telescope (VLT) en schetsen een gedetailleerd beeld van de atmosfeer van de gasreus. Op basis van deze en andere beelden worden kaarten gemaakt die laten zien hoe de atmosfeer er nu voor staat, maar ook welke veranderingen deze de afgelopen maanden heeft ondergaan.

Voorbereiding “Deze kaarten dienen als voorbereiding op wat Juno de komende maanden zal tegenkomen,” vertelt onderzoeker Leigh Fletcher. “Door op verschillende golflengten van het infraroodspectrum waarnemingen te doen, kunnen we een driedimensionale reconstructie maken van het verticale transport van energie en materiaal in de atmosfeer.”
Toevalstreffers Het is nog niet zo gemakkelijk om vanaf de aarde heldere beelden van de atmosfeer van Jupiter te maken. Onze eigen atmosfeer zit regelmatig in de weg. Om toch scherpe beelden te kunnen verkrijgen, hebben de onderzoekers gebruik gemaakt van een techniek die ‘lucky imaging‘ wordt genoemd. Hierbij worden duizenden afzonderlijke, heel kort belichte opnamen van Jupiter gemaakt. Uit die beelden kiezen de onderzoekers één opname waarbij de atmosferische turbulentie het minst hinderlijk is. Meerdere van die ‘toevalstreffers’ hebben onderzoekers vervolgens gecombineerd om de beelden te verkrijgen die je hier ziet.

Ruimtesonde Juno werd in 2011 gelanceerd en legde maar liefst 3 miljard kilometer af om bij Jupiter te komen. Over precies een week arriveert de ruimtesonde dan eindelijk bij de gasreus. Het is de bedoelingdat de ruimtesonde onder de wolken van Jupiter gaat gluren. Naar verwachting zal de missie een schat aan informatie opleveren over de gasreus en zijn ontstaan en evolutie.
