Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

The ancient Egyptians had their pyramids, the Greeks, their sculptures and temples. And everybody knows about the Maya and their famous calendar.
But other ancient peoples get short shrift in world history. Here are a handful of long-lost cultures that don't get the name recognition they deserve.
7. The Silla
The Silla Kingdom was one of the longest-standing royal dynasties ever. It ruled most of the Korean Peninsula between 57 B.C. and A.D. 935, but left few burials behind for archaeologists to study.
One recent Silla discovery gave researchers a little insight, however. The intact bones of a woman who lived to be in her late 30s was found in 2013 near the historic capital of the Silla (Gyeongju). An analysis of the woman's bones revealed that she was likely a vegetarian who ate a diet heavy in rice, potatoes or wheat. She also had an elongated skull.
Silla was founded by the monarch Bak Hyeokgeose. Legend held that he was hatched from a mysterious egg in the forest and married a queen born from the ribs of a dragon. Over time, the Silla culture developed into a centralized, hierarchical society with a wealthy aristocratic class. Though human remains from the Silla people are rare, archaeologists have unearthed a variety of luxurious goods made by this culture, from a gold-and-garnet dagger to a cast-iron Buddha to jade jewelry, among other examples held at the Gyeongju National Museum in South Korea. 6. The Indus
The Indus is the largest-known ancient urban culture, with the people's land stretching from the Indus River in modern-day Pakistan to the Arabian Sea and the Ganges in India. The Indus civilization persisted for thousands of years, emerging around 3300 B.C. and declining by about 1600 B.C.
The Indus, also known as the Harappans, developed sewage and drainage systems for their cities, built impressive walls and granaries, and produced artifacts like pottery and glazed beads. They even had dental care: Scientistsfound 11 drilled molars from adults who lived between 7,500 to 9,000 years ago in the Indus Valley, according to a study published in 2006 in the journal Nature. A 2012 study suggested that climatic change weakened monsoonal rains and dried up much of the Harappan territory, forcing the civilization togradually disband and migrate to wetter climes.

5. The Sanxingdui
The Sanxingdui were a Bronze Age culture that thrived in what is now China's Sichuan Province. A farmer first discovered artifacts from the Sanxingdui in 1929; excavations in the area in 1986 revealed complex jade carvings and bronze sculptures 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall.
But who were the Sanxingdui? Despite the evidence of the culture's artistic abilities, no one really knows. They were prolific makers of painted bronze-and-gold-foil masks that some archaeologists believe may have represented gods or ancestors, according to the Sanxingdui Museum in China. The Sanxingdui site shows evidence of abandonment about 2,800 or 3,000 years ago, and another ancient city, Jinsha, discovered nearby, shows evidence that maybe the Sanxingdui moved there. In 2014, researchers at the annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union argued that at around this time, a major earthquake and landslide redirected the Minjiang River, which would have cut Sanxingdui off from water and forced a relocation.

4. The Nok
The mysterious and little-known Nok culture lasted from around 1000 B.C. to A.D. 300 in what is today northern Nigeria. Evidence of the Nok was discovered by chance during a tin-mining operation in 1943, according to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Miners uncovered a terra-cotta head, hinting at a rich sculptural tradition. Since then, other elaborate terra-cotta sculptures have emerged, including depictions of people wearing elaborate jewelry and carrying batons and flails — symbols of authority also seen in ancient Egyptian art, according to the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Other sculptures show people with diseases such as elephantiasis, the Met said.
Contributing to the mystery surrounding the Nok, the artifacts have often been removed from their context without archaeological analysis. In 2012, the United States returned a cache of Nok figurines to Nigeria after they were stolen from Nigeria's national museum and smuggled into the U.S.

3. The Etruscans
The Etruscans had a thriving society in northern Italy from about 700 B.C. to about 500 B.C., when they began to be absorbed by the Roman Republic. They developed a unique written language and left behind luxurious family tombs, including one belonging to a prince that was first excavated in 2013.
Etruscan society was a theocracy, and their artifacts suggest that religious ritual was a part of daily life. The oldest depiction of childbirth in Western art — a goddess squatting to give birth — was found at the Etruscan sanctuary of Poggio Colla. At the same site, archaeologists found a 4-foot by 2-foot (1.2 by 0.6 meters) sandstone slab containing rare engravings in the Etruscanlanguage. Few examples of written Etruscan survive. Another Etruscan site, Poggio Civitate, was a square complex surrounding a courtyard. It was the largest building in the Mediterranean at its time, said archaeologists who haveexcavated more than 25,000 artifacts from the site.

2. The Land of Punt
Some cultures are known mostly through the records of other cultures. That's the case with the mysterious land of Punt, a kingdom somewhere in Africa that traded with the ancient Egyptians. The two kingdoms were exchanging goods from at least the 26th century B.C., during the reign of the pharaoh Khufu (the builder of the Great Pyramid of Giza).
Strangely, no one really knows where Punt was located. The Egyptians left plenty of descriptions of the goods they got from Punt (gold, ebony, myrrh) and the seafaring expeditions they sent to the lost kingdom. However, the Egyptians are frustratingly mum on where all these voyages were headed. Scholars have suggested that Punt may have been in Arabia, or on the Horn of Africa, or maybe down the Nile River at the border of modern-day South Sudan and Ethiopia.

1. The Bell-Beaker Culture
You know a culture is obscure when archaeologists name it based on its artifacts alone. The Bell-Beaker culture made pottery vessels shaped like upside-down bells. The makers of these distinctive drinking cups lived across Europe between about 2800 B.C. and 1800 B.C. They also left behind copper artifacts and graves, including a cemetery of 154 graves located in the modern-day Czech Republic.
The Bell-Beakers were also responsible for some of the construction at Stonehenge, researchers have found: These people likely arranged the site's small bluestones, which originated in Wales.

MUFON, based in the USA, is the world's largest organisation dedicated to the investigation of alien abductions and UFO sightings and footage.
But the organisation has previously admitted that it does get inundated with hoax footage by pranksters and other individuals, which in some cases have to undergo initial assessment, tying up investigators.
The organisation accepts that this is one of the pitfalls of being an organisation dedicated to such research.
MUFON investigator Peter Davenport said on the website: "One of the greatest burdens that UFO investigators have to bear, in the course of their collecting and investigating sighting reports submitted by members of the public, is the deluge of apparently false reports and cases of mistaken identity that have to be waded through, and eliminated from, the stream of incoming data.
"What prompts people to create and submit bogus reports is unclear, save for the apparently widespread lack of self-discipline, and lack of concern for others, that seems all too common in mankind.
"However, the fact remains that such deception takes place constantly, and that it probably will continue in ufology, and elsewhere, until long after we have finally laid to rest the mystery of UFOs."

A FORMER government emergency expert made a detailed death bed confession of how he was shown inside an alien flying saucer at the top-secret Area 51 military base, it has been sensationally claim
Paul Hellyer, a former Canadian Minister of Defencem, said an unnamed former Canadian Chief of Emergency Measures revealed the astonishing story just before his death from a neurological illness.
Mr Hellyer, 92, revealed the claim to a panel of the world's top UFO and alien investigators and experts.
Speaking at the "Hearing on ET Disclosure” in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, Mr Hellyer explained that if he wanted to know about the workings of an alien space craft he would "ask the current chief of emergency measures".
Mr Hellyer, who became a UFO expert after claiming to have seen proof of alien visitations while in office, said: "The reason I know is I interviewed the previous one, who is now deceased, and he went Langley and the CIA asked if he would like to see one of these crafts.
"They flew him to Area 51 and let him go inside one and observe it and make notes and this sort of thing."
Conspiracy theorists have insisted for years Area 51 is where evidence of alien visitations of Earth are secretly held away from public view, including the remains of the alleged 1947 Roswell flying saucer crash.
Mr Hellyer added: "I guess, presumably, it was to be in better to cops with it if one crashed here and he was involved in trying to do something positive about it.
"But before he was allowed to go had to go he had to sign an oath of secrecy and not tell anyone, and during his life he didn't tell anyone including his wife, and an Air Force buddy phoned me and he was dying of Lou Gehrig’s disease and at that point he felt he should tell someone.

"I phoned him and he gave me a full report of what he saw and the whole idea of the inside of the craft and this sort of thing, and the fact he had been in a brief and many things, but now he felt he could tell somebody and he thought that would be a good one to tell."
Mr Hellyer was Canadian Minister of Defence from 1963 to 1968 and was deputy prime minister in 1969, but outed himself as a UFO believer 11 years ago.
He told a TV news interview that some of the aliens lived on one of Saturn's moons called Andromedia.
But sceptics claim he was deluded and to have debunked him because none of Saturn's 62 moons and satellites have this name.
Victor Viggiani, who chaired the hearing, said: "The more important and dramatic piece of evidence presented by Hellyer was a story he told about the day he was called to listen to some death bed confession.
"Paul did not provide dates for the events but he received a call from a man who said that the former head of emergency measures in Canada and that he has a story he wanted to get off his chest."

Een voormalige Canadese overheidsfunctionaris heeft op zijn sterfbed gezegd dat hij in een buitenaardse vliegende schotel is geweest in Area 51. Dat schrijft de Britse Daily Express.
De Canadese oud-minister van Defensie Paul Hellyer zei dat de anonieme man, die de leiding had over een afdeling die over noodmaatregelen gaat, zijn verhaal deelde vlak voordat hij stierf aan de gevolgen van een neurologische ziekte.
Geheimhoudingsverklaring
“Tijdens een interview zei de man dat de CIA hem had gevraagd of hij één van deze schepen van binnen wilde bekijken,” zei Hellyer. “Ze vlogen hem naar Area 51, waar hij vervolgens aantekeningen maakte.”
“Voordat hij er naartoe ging moest hij een geheimhoudingsverklaring ondertekenen,” vervolgde hij. “Hij sprak er met niemand over, zelfs niet met zijn vrouw. Toen hij ontdekte dat hij ALS had en stervende was, besloot hij alles te vertellen.”
80 soorten
Al jaren wordt gezegd dat Area 51 de plek is waar bewijs voor buitenaards bezoek wordt bewaard, waaronder de resten van een vliegende schotel die in 1947 bij Roswell zou zijn gecrasht. In 2013 erkende de Amerikaanse overheid het bestaan van de basis.
Hellyer was tussen 1963 en 1968 minister van Defensie en werd in 1969 vicepremier van Canada. Recentelijk claimde hij dat 80 verschillende buitenaardse soorten communiceren met wereldleiders, maar dat overheden betrokken zijn bij een cover-up.
Iedere 3.600 jaar komt er een minizonnestelsel in de buurt van onze aarde met alle gevolgen van dien.
Het is dan ook geen toeval dat een dode vulkaan naast de stad Rome na 36.000 jaar plotseling weer rommelend tot leven komt.
Op ongeveer 20 kilometer afstand van de Italiaanse hoofdstad Rome ligt een bergachtig gebied met de naam Colli Albani oftewel de Albaanse heuvels.
Het zijn de restanten van een dode vulkaan, tenminste een waarvan met altijd dacht dat deze dood was. Nu echter komt deze oeroude vuurspuwer plotseling weer tot leven tot grote verbazing van de wetenschap.
Laat dat nu toevallig precies tien keer 3600 cycli zijn, wat weer gelijk is aan de elliptische omloopbaan van het mini zonnestelsel Nibiru.
Nu is niet iedere passage van dit zonnestelsel iedere keer even heftig en zullen de gevolgen ook iedere keer anders zijn. Maar, het feit dat deze vulkaan in Rome na 36.000 weer tot leven komt zou je dan ook kunnen uitleggen dat de komende passage wel eens een heftige zou kunnen zijn.
Diezelfde wetenschap die hier met verbazing naar kijkt weet ons ook te vertellen dat het nog wel 1.000 jaar kan durenvoordat deze werkelijk uitbarst. We zullen dat maar even niet al te serieus nemen, want in werkelijkheid hebben ze geen flauw idee.
Wat er onder andere de laatste keer gebeurde dat Niburu voorbij kwam, blijkt uit een aantal dingen zoals wij schreven in een eerder artikel:
Zoals bekend, wordt er alles aan gedaan om het bestaan van een vreemde planeet in ons zonnestelsel (Nibiru of ook wel Planet X) zo lang mogelijk verborgen te houden.
Dit heeft alles te maken dat de elite niet wil dat de wereld in paniek raakt waardoor zij niet meer op tijd in hun schuilplaatsen zouden kunnen komen.
De beste aanwijzingen voor wat ons te wachten staat, kunnen waarschijnlijk worden gevonden in de geschiedenis, of beter gezegd de archeologie en geologie.
Zo heeft onder andere geologisch onderzoek in Groenland uitgewezen dat er ongeveer iedere 3600 jaar dramatische gebeurtenissen op aarde plaatsvinden. Heftige aardveranderingen die vaak zijn ontstaan als gevolg van een inslag van een meteoriet.
Het betreft geen eenmalige gebeurtenissen, maar cycli die met de regelmaat van de klok iedere 3600 keer terug keren.
Het is nu ongeveer 3600 jaar geleden dat de laatste keer dit soort grote rampen plaatsvonden op aarde.
De Minoïsche uitbarsting is een enorme vulkaanuitbarsting die zich in de Minoïsche tijd op Thera heeft voorgedaan. Dendrochronologisch en ander onderzoek situeert deze gebeurtenis tussen 1650 en 1600 v.Chr.
Derinkuyu is een onderaardse stad in het district Derinkuyu in de provincie Nevşehir in Turkije. De onderaardse stad is volgens archeologen 3500 jaar oud en bood plaats aan ongeveer 35.000 tot 50.000 mensen.
Iedere 3600 jaar doen zich klaarblijkelijk heftige periodes op aarde voor. Waarbij het op onze planeet tekeer gaat en we te maken schijnen te krijgen met inslagen van meteorieten die rampzalige gevolgen hebben.
De bekende tien plagen uit de Bijbel verwijzen waarschijnlijk ook naar gebeurtenissen die verband hielden met de vorige passage van Nibiru.
De tien plagen van Egypte zijn mogelijk te verklaren aan de hand van natuurrampen die ruim 3000 jaar geleden hebben plaatsgevonden. Dat beweren Duitse wetenschappers.
De plagen bestonden uit verschillende rampen zoals het water van de Nijl dat in bloed veranderde, hevige vuurstormen en drie dagen duisternis.
Niet de laatste passage van Nibiru, maar de keer daarvoor is waarschijnlijk verantwoordelijk voor de alom bekendezondvloed. We praten dan over een periode rond 5100 voor Christus.
Hoe heftig de komende passage van de planeet Nibiru zal worden en wanneer die precies komt, weten wij niet.
Wat we wel hebben, zijn de voorspellingen van één van meest betrouwbare profeten die ooit op aarde heeft rondgelopen en dat is de bekende Edgar Cayce.
Navolgnd een deel uit een eerder artikel met wat informatie over Edgar Cayce en de top tien van zijn voorspellingen die nog niet zijn uitgekomen.
Een aantal daarvan heeft duidelijk betrekking op de passage van Nibiru en de gevolgen daarvan.
Voor diegenen die nog nooit van Edgar Cayce hebben gehoord:
De meest prominente ziener van de vorige eeuw is ongetwijfeld Edgar Cayce (1877- 1945). Hij is de best gedocumenteerde helderziende ooit. Edgar Cayce, beter bekend als de slapende profeet, heeft in totaal 14.306 ‘readings’ slapend uitgevoerd, in een veranderde bewustzijnstoestand, die allemaal nauwgezet gedocumenteerd zijn.
Edgar Cayce werd vooral beroemd om zijn medische ‘readings’, omdat hij met een bijna honderd procent nauwkeurigheid de diagnose kon stellen van het ziektebeeld van zijn patiënten. In de meeste gevallen kon hij zelfs de naam en het adres geven van de arts die ze het beste konden consulteren. En dit alles terwijl hij in een trancetoestand verkeerde en enkel en alleen de naam van de patiënt kende die hij zelf, meestal, nooit eerder ontmoet had.
In de nadagen van zijn carrière begon hij informatie door te geven over oude beschavingen - vooral over de Egyptische en Atlantische culturen - en hij voorspelde tevens toekomstige gebeurtenissen voor deze aarde die bekend zijn geworden als de ‘Earth Changes’. Edgar Cayce richtte zelf de ‘Association for Research and Enlightenment’ (A.R.E.)’ op om zijn erfenis te bewaren voor het nageslacht. Deze organisatie bestaat nog steeds en is zeer actief. Edgar Cayce is zeer uitvoerig bestudeerd en er zijn meer dan driehonderd boeken gewijd aan deze mystieke man.
Nog een vreemd toeval: Afgelopen week plaatsten wij een artikel waarin goed werd onderbouwd dat de Grote Piramide rond 9.500 voor Christus is bebouwd. Edgar Cayce heeft altijd gezegd dat de Grote Piramide rond 10.000 voor Christus werd gebouwd.
Hier volgen de top tien voorspellingen van Cayce die nog niet uitgekomen zijn. Vele mensen hebben deze gekoppeld aan het jaar 2012, maar dat hoeft uiteraard niet zo te zijn.
1) Het grootste deel van Europa zal in een oogwenk veranderen. Japan zal uiteindelijk in de zee verdwijnen.
2) Er zal nieuw land verschijnen voor de oostkust van Amerika (het oude Atlantis?).
3) Er zal een omkering van de polen komen, zodanig dat waar eens een koud klimaat heerste het warmer zal worden en waar subtropische zal het meer tropisch worden. Er zullen mos en varens groeien op plekken die we ons nu niet voor kunnen stellen.
4) Er zal een tijd komen waarop de zon donker wordt. Dit is het moment van een grote spirituele ontwaking. 1. I was in my home with my wife and teenage son. We all saw the object high in the sky and we filmed the object using 60x HD camcorder.
2. My wife looked out the window and saw an object with bright light high in the sky.
3. We thought the object could be a sophisticate, large drone, possibly military. However when we reviewed the video at the end frame by frame it appears to spin and then disappear.
4. The object hovered stationary for several minutes. Using my HD video camera zoomed in at 60x I could see an A fram shape for each structure, a red and green light in the middle, and 3 bright white lights on top. It began spinning and then disappeared as shown frame by frame on the video. It returned a few minutes later in the same location but facing a different direction. It hovered stationary again and then disappeared. The video zoom did not resolve well but the object appeared to change color all at once to red before it disappeared.
5. We were excited to see the object even if it turns out to be just a drone. My wife posted the video clip to her facebook account and friends were shocked. Some said it was just a drone, but other did not.
6. We lost sight of the object because it disappeared. Please see the video clip as it is all there. I have 4 videos total but have processed only 1 to remove the audio and clip just the best section to reduce file size. The sequence of the video is continuous and has not been modified. There are millions of meteorites entering the Earth’s atmosphere every day and most of them burn out prior reaching the ground. However, a man living in a village in northern Bosnia claim that six meteorites crash through his roof in less than a year.
Radivoje Lajic was in his home in the Bosnian village of Gornji sleeping when a loud noise awakened him during one evening in November 2007. The first that came to his mind were memories of the recent war that brought so much chaos in their country. However, the rest of the night stayed silent and later, Lajic found the culprit. It was a space rock that caused a hole in his roof. Lajic has been aware that things like this do happen. He did not expect it would be the first of six crashes into his household.

Four more meteorites hit his property over the next several months, prompting Lajic to reinforce his roof with steel girders. These series of incidents came to a stop in April 2008, only to be back again in the summer of 2010 when another meteorite hit his Gornji home. Since then, Radivoje Lajic has been suspecting of an extraterrestrial attack that intentionally targeted him.
There have been suggestions that the nearby Bosnian Pyramids could provide an explanation to Lajic’s case. The pyramids are believed to exert geomagnetic or gravitational disturbance, which could probably disrupt the natural trajectory of meteorites and somehow attract them to the area, not necessarily crashing on the pyramids, but landing nearby.
Bosnian Pyramids are located in the city of Visoko, less than 30 miles in a straight line from Gornji. They are a group of controversial structures. Many believe that these pyramids are artificial in nature and might be the oldest pyramids ever discovered.
According to archaeologists, the Bosnian Pyramids could be at least 24,800 years old, much older than the Egyptian ones. An unknown ancient civilization might have built them using advanced technology to erect a 722 foot-tall edifice.

Scientists from the University of Queensland, Australia, have used single particles of light (photons) to simulate quantum particles travelling through time. They showed that one photon can pass through a wormhole and then interact with its older self. Their findings were published in Nature Communications.
The source of this time travel conundrum comes from what are called “closed timelike curves” (CTC). CTCs are used to simulate extremely powerful gravitational fields, like the ones produced by a spinning black hole, and could, theoretically (based on Einstein’s theory of general relativity), warp the fabric of existence so that spacetime bends back on itself – thus creating a CTC, almost like a path that could be used to travel back in time.
According to Scientific American, many physicists find CTCs “abhorrent, because any macroscopic object traveling through one would inevitably create paradoxes where cause and effect break down.” Others disagree with this assessment, however; in 1991, physicist David Deutsch showed that these paradoxes (created by CTCs) could be avoided at the quantum scale because of the weird behaviour of these fundamental particles that make up what we call matter.
It’s well known that at the quantum scale, these particles do not follow the rules that govern classical mechanics, but behave in strange and unexpected ways that really shouldn’t even be possible.

In the quantum world, paradoxes that we don’t understand are common findings, but this should not deter people from taking this science seriously. Even Einstein didn’t believe a lot of quantum theory, but I’d like to think that if he were alive today, he would definitely be having some fun, given all of the recent breakthroughs.

The Experiment
Tim Ralph (quoted above) and his PhD student Martin Ringbauer simulated a Deutsch’s model of CTCs, according to Scientific American, “testing and confirming many aspects of the two-decades-old theory.” Although it’s just a mathematical simulation, the researchers (and their team/colleagues) emphasize that their model is mathematically equivalent to a single photon traveling through a CTC. Nothing has actually been sent back through time though; to do that, scientists would have to find a real CTC, which has yet to happen as far as we know. Of course, there always remains the possibility that black budget science has.
Think in terms of the ‘grandfather paradox,’ a hypothetical scenario where someone uses a CTC to travel back through time to cause harm to their grandfather, thus preventing their later birth. Now imagine a particle going back in time to flip a switch on the particle-generating machine that created it – this is a possibility that these physicists say they have shown through their simulation.

Why This Is A High Probability
In my opinion, there is no doubt time travel is possible. Why do I believe this? Well, it’s because we know one hundred percent that superposition is real on a quantum scale.

This means that one particle can exist in multiple states at one time. This is best demonstrated by the quantum double slit experiment. Recent experiments have also confirmed quantum entanglement, showing that space is really just a construct that gives the illusion of separation. One thing that suggests there is a high probably of time travel, in conjunction with the experiment mentioned in this article, is the fact that there are experiments showing that particles can actually be entangled through time.
This is illustrated by what is called the ‘delayed choice experiment.’
Like the quantum double slit experiment, the delayed choice/quantum eraser has been demonstrated and repeated time and time again. For example, physicists at The Australian National University (ANU) have successfully conducted John Wheeler’s delayed-choice thought experiment. In 2007 (Science 315, 966, 2007), scientists in France shot photons into an apparatus and showed that their actions could retroactively change something which had already happened.
This particular experiment illustrates how what happens in the present can change what happened in the past. It also shows how time can go backwards, how cause and effect can be reversed, and how the future caused the past.

Although we do not have access to a CTC quite yet, there are good reasons to believe that this type of time travel is possible at the quantum mechanical level, and that is why I chose to mention these other experiments, to show that ‘time’ doesn’t even really exist as we think it does.

Why these same quantum mechanical laws have not been observed on the macroscopic level is yet to be understood, but physicists are working on the problem. For example, in 2012 physicists David Wineland and Serge Haroche received the Nobel Prize in physics for demonstrating how “quantum weirdness” could not only exist at the subatomic micro-world level, but also show itself in the macro-world. At one time, superposition was only thought to exist in the inaccessible quantum world, but not anymore. We know it’s possible, we just haven’t figured out how. Perhaps one day, we will have determined the key to this puzzle and be able to observe large objects like cars, humans, apples, and oranges behave in the ways that matter does on a subatomic level, and perhaps one day we will find a wormhole, or a CTC in space, to conduct actual experiments that go beyond theory. That being said, a lot of what used to be considered theoretical in quantum physics is no longer theoretical, like quantum entanglement.

Meet Gary McKinnon who thinks that NASA is editing out the parts of UFO appearances in the videos it releases to the public and it has been doing so for years. He is a avid UFO watcher and has faced a 10-year fight against extradition to the US after breaking into computer databases of NASA, US military and the Pentagon.
According to McKinnon, NASA and the US government has known for years we are being regularly monitored by UFOs from far-flung galaxies. But it believes that the general public wont be able handle the truth, or it would lead to the breakdown of religion and society and it has been successfully withheld the information by covering it up.

McKinnon says that his interest in UFO’s and NASA coverup built up after former NASA contractor Donna Hare went whistleblower in November 2000 with claims that NASA staff digitally edited out UFOs from satellite pictures before they were released, from Building eight of the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.
To prove whether Hare was right or wrong, McKinnon hacked into computer databases of NASA, there US military and the Pentagon, from his girlfriend’s aunt’s home in London. McKinnon said their security was so lapse he was able to regularly gain access to entire databases for between 18 months and two years.
First, while scouring US Navy databases, McKinnon stumbled across a file containing a list of “non-terrestrial officers” with their ranks and names and a separate file of “material transfers between ships”.
Mr McKinnon believes he may have found confidential evidence of a secret space base. McKinnon has released 4 videos based on his findings.
When asked if non-terrestrial officers could mean something else such as this or astronauts, McKinnon added: “It could be up to you how you interpret them.”
The other evidence uncovered by McKinnon was while trawling the 255 computers of building eight at the Johnson Space Center. He said: “There were image databases with roll one: filtered or processed and unprocessed. They were 200-odd megabytes each. I had full remote control of the desktop.”
He said he started to download an image, but it was extremely slow, and he only got half to 2/3rds of the way down before being rumbled. McKinnon added: “It was the hemisphere of a planet I assume was Earth. It was cloudy, but there was the classic cigar-shape (UFO).” McKinnon said he took a screen grab, but then saw the cursor move separately to his mouse movements, before the connection was lost, and he was unable to retrieve the image from the clipboard.
He was arrested soon after before a highly publicised battle against extradition from 2002 to 2012, during which, in 2008, he was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome – a form of autism that may have affected his behaviour. He was accused by the US government of costing it $700,000 and hacking for more sinister reasons than trying to discover if the truth was out there.
This was amid claims he deleted critical files, shut down the US Army’s 2,000-computer Washington network for 24 hours and paralysed munitions supplies to the US Navy.
Hundreds of physicists and astronomers worked for five years to build the largest, most precise, three-dimensional map ever, charting how dark energy competed with dark matter in shaping the expansion of the universe. The map covers 1.2 million galaxies.
THE LARGEST MAP EVER
It took hundreds of physicists and astronomers five years to construct the largest-ever, most precise, three-dimensional map of distant galaxies that charts the dark energy propelling the accelerated expansion of the universe.
Project co-leader Jeremy Tinker from New York University says: “We have spent five years collecting measurements of 1.2 million galaxies over one quarter of the sky to map out the structure of the Universe over a volume of 650 cubic billion light years.”
The results of the project has been published in the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society. “This map has allowed us to make the best measurements yet of the effects of dark energy in the expansion of the Universe. We are making our results and map available to the world,” Tinker adds.
Consistent with the calculations of general relativity, the galaxies were observed drifting towards areas of the universe with more matter—thus more gravitational pull.
Shirley Ho, an astrophysicist at Berkeley Lab and Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) who co-led two of the companion papers says the data they gathered will pave the way towards more accurate measurements: “We can now measure how much the galaxies and stars cluster together as a function of time to such an accuracy we can test General Relativity at cosmological scales,” she says.
THE BATTLE OF ENIGMAS
On top of the fact that we currently do not know what exactly dark energy and dark matter are, the team also had to decipher between the two in their measurements. Thanks to the Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (BOSS) program of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey-III, measurement of the rate at which the universe expands was made possible, which led them to measure the amount of dark matter and dark energy which our present universe is made of.
By determining the size of the baryonic acoustic oscillations (BAO) in the three-dimensional distribution of galaxies, BOSS can measure the expansion rate of the Universe. Galaxy distribution was measured starting from 13.7996 billion years ago, 400,000 years from the time the universe is believed to have started—a time when pressure waves are known to have travelled throughout the cosmos.
From that point on, astronomers were able to observe the competition between dark matter and dark energy in controlling the universe’s expansion.
“We’ve made the largest map for studying the 95% of the universe that is dark,” says David Schlegel, astrophysicist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab) and principal investigator for BOSS. “In this map, we can see galaxies being gravitationally pulled towards other galaxies by dark matter. And on much larger scales, we see the effect of dark energy ripping the universe apart.”
Rita Tojeiro of the University of St. Andrews, who co-led the BOSS galaxy clustering working group alongside Tinker outlines how this is a milestone for cosmology: “We see a dramatic connection between the sound wave imprints seen in the cosmic microwave background 400,000 years after the Big Bang to the clustering of galaxies 7-12 billion years later. The ability to observe a single well-modeled physical effect from recombination until today is a great boon for cosmology.”
“The results from BOSS provide a solid foundation for even more precise future BAO measurements, such as those we expect from the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI),” says Natalie Roe, Physics Division director at Berkeley Lab. “DESI will construct a more detailed 3-dimensional map in a volume of space ten times larger to precisely characterize dark energy — and ultimately the future of our universe.”
If new rocket engines being developed by the European Space Agency (ESA) are successful, they could revolutionize rocket technology and change the way we get to space. The engine, called the Synergistic Air-Breathing Rocket Engine (SABRE), is designed to use atmospheric air in the early flight stages, before switching to conventional rocket mode for the final ascent to space. If all goes well, this new air-breathing rocket could be ready for test firings in about four years.
Conventional rockets have to carry an on-board oxidizer such as liquid oxygen, which is combined with fuel in the rocket’s combustion chamber. This means rockets can require in excess of 250 tons of liquid oxygen in order to function. Once this oxygen is consumed in the first stages, these used up stages are discarded, creating massive waste and expense. (Companies like SpaceX and Blue Origin are developing re-usable rockets to help circumvent this problem, but they’re still conventional rockets.)
Conventional rockets carry their own oxygen because its temperature and pressure can be controlled. This guarantees the performance of the rocket, but requires complicated systems to do so. SABRE will eliminate the need for carrying most on-board oxygen, but this is not easy to do.
SABRE’s challenge is to compress the atmospheric oxygen to about 140 atmospheres before introducing it into the engine’s combustion chambers. But compressing the oxygen to that degree raises its temperature so much that it would melt the engines. The solution to that is to cool the air with a pre-cooling heat exchanger, to the point where it’s almost a liquid. At that point, a turbine based on standard jet engine technology can compress the air to the required operating temperature.
This means that while SABRE is in Earth’s atmosphere, it uses air to burn its hydrogen fuel, rather than liquid oxygen. This gives it an 8 x improvement in propellant consumption. Once SABRE has reached about 25 km in altitude, where the air is thinner, it switches modes and operates as a standard rocket. By the time it switches modes, it’s already about 20% of the way into Earth orbit.
Like a lot of engineering challenges, understanding what needs to be done is not the hard part. Actually developing these technologies is extremely difficult, even though many people just assume engineers will be successful. The key for Reaction Engines Ltd, the company developing SABRE, is to develop the light weight heat exchangers at the heart of the engine.
Heat exchangers are common in industry, but these heat exchangers have to cool incoming air from 1000 Celsius to -150 Celsius in less than 1/100th of a second, and they have to do it while preventing frost from forming. They are extremely light, at about 100 times lighter than current technology, which will allow them to be used in aerospace for the first time. Some of the lightness factor of these new heat exchanges stems from the wall thickness of the tubing, which is less than 30 microns. That’s less than the thickness of a human hair.
Reaction Engines Limited says that these heat exchangers will have the same impact on aerospace propulsion systems that silicone chips had on computing.
A new funding agreement with the ESA will provide Reaction Engines with 10 million Euros for continued development of SABRE. This will add to the 50 million Pounds that the UK Space Agency has already contributed. That 50 million Pound investment was the result of a favorable viability review of SABRE that the ESA performed in 2010.
In 2012 the pre-cooler, a vital component of SABRE, was successfully tested at Reaction Engines facility in Oxfordshire, UK.

IN 2012, the pre-cooler and the heat exchangers were tested. After that came more R&D, including the development of altitude-compensating rocket nozzles, thrust chamber cooling, and air intakes.
Now that the feasibility of SABRE has been strengthened, Reaction Engines wants to build a ground demonstrator engine by 2020. If the continued development of SABRE goes well, and if testing by 2020 is successful, then these Air Breathing rocket engines will be in a position to truly revolutionize access to space.
In ESA’s words, “ESA are confident that a ground test of a sub-scale engine can be successfully performed to demonstrate the flight regime and cycle and will be a critical milestone in the development of this program and a major breakthrough in propulsion worldwide.”

Every planet in the Solar System has its own peculiar orbit, and these vary considerably. Whereas planet Earth takes 365.25 days to complete a single orbit about our Sun, Mars takes almost twice as long – 686.971 days. Then you have Jupiter and the other gas giants, which take between 11.86 and 164.8 years to orbit our Sun. But even with these serving as examples, astronomers were not prepared for what they found when they looked atCVSO 30.
This star system, which lies some 1200 light years from Earth, has been found in recent years to have two candidate exoplanets. These planets, which are many times the mass of Jupiter, were discovered by an international team of astronomers using both the Transit Method and Direct Imaging. And what they found was very interesting: one planet has an orbital period of less than 11 days while the other takes a whopping 27,000 years to orbit its parent star!
In addition to being a big surprise, the detection of these two planets using different methods was an historic achievement. Up until now, the vast majority of the over 2,000 exoplanets discovered have been detected thanks to indirect methods. These include the aforementioned Transit Method, which detects planets by measuring the dimming effect they cause when crossing their parent star’s path, and the Radial Velocity Method, which measures the gravitational effect planets have on their parent star.
In 2012, astronomers used the Transit Method to detect CVSO 30b, a planet with 5 to 6 times the mass of Jupiter, and which orbits its star at a distance of only 1.2 million kilometers (by comparison, Mercury orbits our Sun at a distance of 58 million kilometers). From these characteristics, CVSO 30b can be described as a particularly “hot-Jupiter”.
In contrast, Direct Imaging has been used to spot only a few dozen exoplanets. The reason for this is because it is typically quite difficult to detect the light reflected by a planet’s atmosphere due it being drowned out by the light of its parent star. It can also be quite demanding when it comes to the instrument involved. Still, compared to indirect methods, it can be more effective when it comes to exploring the remote regions of a star.
Thanks to the efforts of an international team of astronomers, who combined the use of the Keck Observatory in Hawaii, the ESO’s Very Large Telescope in Chile, and the Spanish National Research Council’s (CSIC) Calar Alto Observatory, CVSO 30c was spotted in remote regions around its parent star, orbiting at a distance of around 666 AU.
The details of the discovery were published in a paper titled “Direct Imaging discovery of a second planet candidate around the possibly transiting planet host CVSO 30“. In it, the researchers – who hail from such prestigious institutions as the Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory, the Jena Observatory, the European Space Agency and the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy – explained the methods used to find the exoplanet, and the significance of its discovery.

As Tobias Schmidt – of the University of Hamburg, the Astrophysical Institute and University Observatory Jena, and the lead author of the paper – told Universe Today via email:
“[30b and 30c] are both unusual on their own. CVSO 30b is the first transiting planet around a star as young as 2.5 million years. Published in 2012, all previously detected transiting planets were older than few hundred million years… It has been a surprise to find a planetary mass companion at 662 AU, or 662 times the distance from Earth to the Sun, from a primary star having only about 0.4 solar masses. According to the standard model, planets form in disks around the star. But none of the observed disks around such low-mass stars is large enough to form such an object.”
In other words, it is surprising to find two exoplanet candidates with several times the mass of Jupiter (aka. Super-Jupiters) orbiting a star as small as CVSO 30. But to find two exoplanets with such a disparity in terms of their respective distance from their star (despite being similar in mass) was particularly surprising.
Relying on high-contrast photometric and spectroscopic observations from the Very Large Telescope, the Keck telescopes and the Calar Alto observatory, the international team was able to spot 30c using a technique known as lucky imaging. This process, which is used by ground-based telescopes, involves many high-speed, quick exposure photos being taken to minimize atmospheric interference.

What they found was an exoplanet with a wide orbit that was between 4 and 5 Jupiter masses, and was also very young – less than 10 million years old. What’s more, the spectroscopic data indicated that it is unusually blue for a planet, as most other planet candidates of its kind are very red. The researchers concluded from this that it is likely that 30c is the first young planet of its kind to be directly imaged.
They further concluded that 30 c is also likely the first “L-T transition object” younger than 10 million years to be found orbiting a star. L-T transition objects are a type of brown dwarf – objects that are too large to be considered planets, but too small to be considered stars. Typically they are found embedded in large clouds of gas and dust, or on their own in space.
Paired with its companion – 30 b, which is impossibly close to its parent star – 30 c is not believed to have formed at its current position, and is likely not stable in the long-term. At least, not where current models of planetary formation and orbit are concerned. However, as Prof. Schmidt indicated, this offers a potential explanation for the odd nature of these exoplanets.
“We do think this is a very good hint,” he said, “that the two objects might have formed regularly around the star at a separation comparable to Jupiter or Saturn’s separation from the Sun, then interacted gravitationally and were scattered to their current orbits. However this is still speculation, further investigations will try to prove this. Both have about the same mass of few Jupiter masses, the inner one might be even lower.”

The discovery is also significant since it was the first time that these two detection methods – Transit and Direct Imaging – were used to confirm exoplanet candidates around the same star. In this case, the methods were quite complimentary, and present opportunities to learn more about exoplanets.
As Professor Schmidt explained:
“Both Transit method and radial velocity method have problems finding planets around young stars, as the activity of young stars is disturbing the search for them. CVSO 30 b was the first very young planet found with these methods, currently a hand full of candidates exist. Direct imaging, on the other hand, is working best for young planets as they still contract and are thus self-luminous. It is therefore great luck that a far out planet was found around the very first young star hosting a inner planet…
“However, the real advantage of transit and direct imaging methods is that the two objects can now be investigated in greater detail. While we can use the direct light from the imaging for spectroscopy, i.e. split the light according to its wavelength, we hope to achieve the same for the inner planet candidate. This is possible as the light passes through the atmosphere of the planet during transits and some of the elements are absorbed by the composition material of the atmosphere. So we do hope to learn a lot about planet formation, thus also formation of the early Solar System and about young planets in particular from the CVSO 30 system.”
Since astronomers first began began to find exoplanet candidates in distant star systems, we have come to learn just how diverse our Universe really is. Many of the discoveries have challenged our notions about where planets can form around their parent star, while others have showed us that planets can take many different forms.
As time goes on and our exploration of the local Universe advances, we will be challenged to find explanations for how it all fits together. And from that, new and more comprehensive models will no doubt emerge.
