Alien interaction: “The chances are pretty good for contact to take place,” says Dr Eamonn Ansbro ahead of his Trinity College Dublin public lecture on Monday night.
For the last 17 years since setting up his Kingsland Observatory outside Boyle, Co Roscommon, Eamonn Ansbro has been looking for extraterrestrial life.
It’s a pursuit that is easily to mock. Aliens of the popular imagination are green, with pointy heads and fly around in saucers. Their human pursuers are often similarly ridiculed.
Yet, in the last few years the discovery of thousands of exoplanets – planets around other stars – has made the search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI) a serious proposition.
The problem is that we do not know whether or not extraterrestrial intelligence exists and even if it does we do not know how they are communicating.
The biggest barrier is the distances involved. Even at the speed of light (250,000km a second), a message sent to the nearest star, Alpha Centauri, would take nine years to get there and back.
Dr Ansbro is advocating faster-than-the-speed-of-light communication, a potential discovery which would overturn the laws of physics defined by Albert Einstein.
“It is possible,” he says, “There have been theoretical models regarding this. There has been work done in the last five or six years to indicate that this is possible. Currently you are constrained by the speed of light.”
Extraterrestrial intelligence
He speculates that while humans use 4D technology (ie radio communication), he believes extraterrestrial intelligence may be using something more advanced which is called quantum superluminal communications (QSC) or 5D. To borrow an analogy, human beings may be on AM while aliens may be on FM.
Dr Ansbro admits there is no certainty there is extraterrestrial intelligence. “The science of SETI is still on the fringe with astrobiology [the notion of extraterrestrial life],” he says.
“We have no history behind us similar to say any of the other sciences and we are going on a number of assumptions. It’s a really high-risk project.
But absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. Mankind has only very recently had the tools to even begin the search. New telescopes are being developed that will look for the tell-tale carbon signatures of life in the atmosphere of exoplanets.
At a lecture on Monday hosted by Astronomy Ireland, Dr Ansbro will explain the latest thinking on the possible nature of extraterrestrial life.
“The chances are pretty good for contact to take place,” he says. “The ultimate test will come from the exploration of extraterrestrial biospheres.
“ In what to us will be extreme planets, eg having a global ocean a hundred kilometres deep or much larger rocky planets than Earth with extreme gravity, our extrapolations will be tentative, but we can nonetheless envisage life in a range of habitats considerably wider than what we know on Earth.”
Dr Ansbro’s Astronomy Ireland public lecture takes place in Trinity College Dublin, Fitzgerald Building, at 8pm. Tickets are €10 with concessions at €5.
Ben was driving to work from his home on Hooe Road when he spotted something in the air.
Recalling the strange turn of events, he said: "I drove straight back home to get my camera, then I went to the highest point in Plymstock to take the pictures, where the big cross on the hill is.
"I missed the meteor coming through the atmosphere, but I saw the sparks coming down, travelling really fast."

Meteors: The facts
A meteoroid is a small particle from an asteroid or comet orbiting the sun. That's different from a meteor - which is a meteoroid burning up in the Earth's atmosphere – known as a shooting star. Finally, a meteorite is a meteor that survives its passage hit the Earth's surface.
They are all different from asteroids or comets which have orbits around the sun that bring them close to the earth. An asteroid is a relatively small, inactive body, composed of rock, carbon or metal, which is orbiting the sun. Whereas a comet is a A relatively small object composed of dirt and ice.
Comets are characterised by dust and gas tails when in proximity to the sun.
Far from the sun it is difficult to distinguish an asteroid from a comet.
NASA will hold a press conference on Thursday, starting at 2 PM ET, at which it will discuss new discoveries related to ocean worlds found within our solar system. The fresh findings come from the Cassini spacecraft, which was launched in 1997 and arrived at its destination orbiting Saturn in 2004, and the Hubble Space Telescope.
The briefing includes “new discoveries” that “will help inform future ocean world exploration,” according to NASA’s press release. The results of the findings will help with future efforts to locate life outside of Earth – but we should stress here that there’s essentially zero chance this announcement will be at all about the discovery of alien life, as a way of heading off the recurrent frenzy of hype before it happens.

An atmosphere wrapped around an exoplanet called Gliese 1132b (GJ 1132b) has been identified. It is located almost 39 light-years away in a constellation that is called Vela.
The discovery is of special importance to those interested in alien life. It is the first time that some sort of atmosphere has been found around an exoplanet that has a mass and radius like the Earth's. For those who are searching for signs of extraterrestrial life, this is a big discovery.

"With this research, we have taken the first tentative step into studying the atmospheres of smaller, Earth-like, planets," said Lead researcher John Southworth from Keele University in the UK on the exoplanet, according to Science Alert. "The planet is significantly hotter and a bit larger than Earth, so one possibility is that it is a 'water world' with an atmosphere of hot steam."
The exoplanet is thought to have some "'water world' with an atmosphere of hot steam" almost 1.6 times as big as the Earth's. Its radius is also 1.4 times bigger. However, its complete similarity or habitability to the earth is still not clear. The new exoplanet's surface temperature of 370 degrees Celsius (698 degrees Fahrenheit) sounds pretty uninhabitable. The planet orbits the red dwarf star Gliese 1132. This was the star that Southworth and his group studied.
They used the ESO/MPG telescope in Chile. When they assessed the dimming of brightness in its seven wavelengths of light, they found that the GJ1132b exoplanet went by the host star after every 1.6 Earth days. This gave them a good idea of the planet's size as well as composition.
The exoplanet looked bigger when it was examined in one type of infrared wavelength of light. Hence, it showed an atmosphere opaque to such wavelengths. After examining various versions of the atmosphere, scientists saw an atmosphere rich in water and methane.
The GJ 1132b exoplanet is orbiting a host star that is a low-mass red dwarf. It seems to be a star that is very common in the Universe and tends to host small, Earth-like planets. However, such stars are also aggressive and could blast with massive solar flares the planets around them. Research has shown that activity like this could evaporate the planet's atmosphere, according to The Astronomical Journal.
It has also been found that such an atmosphere can tolerate flares for billions of years and still not get destroyed. Hence, it is possible that there are thousands of such exoplanets that are revolving around low-mass stars. They too could be having such atmospheres.
UFO sightings are still being reported at a near- record level, according to the survey.
In 2016, 1,131 UFO reports were officially filed in Canada, the fifth year in a row above 1,000 cases but down slightly from 1,267 UFO sightings reported in 2015.
Last year most UFO reports were recorded during the summer with June, July and August having a combined 37.7 per cent of all cases.
Most sighting reports were simple lights in the sky, known as Nocturnal Lights (54.9 per cent), and Close Encounters comprised less than one per cent of the total.
The most popular shape of UFO reported in 2016 was a simple point source of light.
Other shapes reported were Triangle, Ball, Cigar and Fireball.
The classic “flying saucer” was only reported 48 times or 5 per cent in 2016.
While the vast majority of cases reported to UFO groups and official agencies are of low Strangeness, some rather odd incidents are reported each year, the report states.
"Close Encounter cases are definitely in the minority, but some of these cases are extremely close indeed," it said.
A witness in Cornwall, P.E.I. reported that a thin, six-foot-tall, long fingered, white alien in a black suit appeared in his bedroom. The witness spoke to the alien, which then left by walking through a wall.

Someone spotted a mysterious “white orb” in the sky in just one of many photographs they took last spring at Lion's Head and reported it as a UFO.
A couple months later, a person noticed a “starlike object” moving side to side in the skies over Williamsford. The object then flashed and disappeared.
Then, last fall, someone in Markdale saw two lights moving at a high rate of speed before blinking out in the sky.
The three accounts were among the 1,131 reports of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) that were officially filed last year in Canada, according to a 2016 Canadian UFO Survey produced by the Manitoba-based Ufology Research.
Six of the reports related to sightings in Grey-Bruce.
Astronomer Chris Rutkowski, the study's author, said 21 per cent of the reports in the survey have been classified as having a probable explanation, while 74 per cent did not come with enough information to be explained.
Only about four per cent of the cases are considered unexplained, which is the lowest in 28 years. That's most likely due, he said, to more careful scrutiny by Ufology of the raw information it received. About 1.5 per cent of the cases have been explained, which is the lowest in 24 years.
The survey notes that the unexplained classification does not imply an alien visitation.
“None of the reports that we have and none of the statistical studies that we do really say anything about whether there are aliens out there or not. This is simply what people are reporting,” Rutkowski said in an interview.
“Some people claim that they've seen some aliens associated with them but we don't have any proof of that.”
Rutkowski said, as an astronomer, he believes there is probably extraterrestrial life “out there somewhere.
“And probably within five or 10 years, we're going to find some definite proof that there is life outside our solar system quite close to earth. But there's no definite proof for this,” he said.
The UFO sightings included in Ufology Research's report were either reported directly to the organization or were collected from other sources, such as Canadian government agencies, civilian Canadian UFO organizations, USA-based groups like the Mutual UFO Network and the National UFO Reporting Centre, and Internet sites, including YouTube.
This was the fifth year in a row that more than 1,000 cases were included in the report.
Just over 18,000 Canadian UFO reports have been catalogued since the Canadian UFO Survey launched 28 years ago. About 2,150 of the cases are still unexplained.
In 2016, about 57 per cent of the sightings related to a “simple point source of light in the sky.” About five per cent of the UFOs were described as being the classic flying saucer shape, while nine per cent were reported as balls of light, five per cent were identified as fireballs, four per cent were triangular shapes and three per cent were cigar-shaped objects.
Only one per cent of the cases described a “close encounter.”
The other local cases in the 2016 survey include a March 18 report of a red light flying fast in the sky in the Town of the Blue Mountains before a helicopter came into the area and an April 1 account of a white light crossing the night sky above Owen Sound. There was also a report of an unknown object flying in multiple directions above Walkerton on Nov. 6.

This particular UFO classification hasn’t always been called flying saucers. UFOs have been reported for many centuries, so it’s no surprise they have been called many other names.
Strange objects and lights in the sky were reported in Charles Fort’s 1919 non-fiction publication The Book of the Damned. It was called “Damned” because 19th- and 20th-century scientists refused to investigate such reports.
During World War II, pilots on all sides of the conflict reported strange objects that literally flew circles around aircrafts of that era.The American airmen nicknamed them “foo-fighters.”
It wasn’t until 1947 the term came to be. On June 24, 1947, businessman and private pilot Kenneth A. Arnold of Washington State reported observing a “V”-shaped formatting of nine discs flying at great speed over Washington’s Mount Rainier. Two days later, the Chicago Sun, while reporting the news of Arnold’s sighting, coined the term “flying saucer,” and the handle stuck.
Statistically speaking, flying saucers as a UFO silhouette are approximately 5.5 percent of the 120,000-plus national UFO sightings. Of course, the principle national UFO reporting databases don’t call them flying saucers. The National UFO Reporting Center and Mutual UFO Network refer to them as a “discs.” Both databases have relatively equal numbers: NUFORC with 51 percent of this type of report and MUFON with 49 percent. From 2001-2015, the national total is 6,629 flying saucer reports.
The top five states for flying saucer reports are:California: 902; Florida: 433; Texas: 380; New York: 316; Arizona: 315. At the other end of the ranking, we must not forget the states with the least amount of flying saucer reports. They are: Wyoming: 16; Detroit: 13; North Dakota: 12; Washington D.C.: 10; San Diego: 8.

An amateur video sent conspiracy theorists into a frenzy after seeing a mysterious disk in it hovering above Mexico.
According to the witness, he was driving a car in the city of Morella when he saw the UFO, which has left Ufologists abuzz. A 40-second clip was posted to YouTube by Carlos Arriola, who said he had also seen the strange thing.
The strange black sphere in the video appears to hover in the sky and travel in one direction at a slow speed and then changes direction.
Some UFO enthusiasts believe the video shows an alien spacecraft so clearly. They described the aerial thing in question as a dark disk moving slowly above a busy road in Morelia, Mexico.
The person who took the video was driving the car while recording the UFO on video. Many UFO followers were impressed with the smooth movement of the unknown aerial thing while making no sound over the city. They said that seeing a close up a real UFO is a rare opportunity to savour.
The strange craft has since captivated the local area. It reportedly made an appearance on March 27.
An Indiana witness at Anderson recalled a UFO event from 2015 where the object was “as big as a football field” and just 300 feet overhead, according to testimony in Case 82148 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was walking home after a third shift in November 2015 when the incident occurred.
“No cars were out,” the witness stated.“Just me walking down the middle of a major road.”
The witness saw the UFO out of the corner of his eye.
“I turned to the right and saw the huge, stretched, diamond-shaped spaceship. It had orange lights on all sides of it. It was just floating in a straight line heading east. No noise, no fumes. It was massive. Floating 200feet above me.”

The object quickly moved away.
“It slowly flew east and I watched it until it disappeared. Breathtaking moment. Unbelievable.”
The witness provided three illustrations of the event with the report, which was filed on February 17, 2017.

Anderson is a city in and the county seat of Madison County, Indiana, population 56,129. MUFON Indiana Field Investigator Timothy D. Wagner investigated this case and closed it as an Unknown.
“This object is not a natural phenomenon,” Wagner stated in his report. “It is possibly man-made. Could be a military secret craft. This can’t be ruled out. The object most likely is not a blimp because if it was 200 to 300 feet above witness, he should have heard the blimp motors. No sound pretty much rules out any conventional aircraft as we know it. Too big to be a hobbyist’s drone. With this limited information, would recommend a disposition of Unknown – UAV.”

A Maine witness at Orrington reported a late-night encounter with a low flying, silent, triangle-shaped object along a rural roadway, according to testimony in Case 82505 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was driving with friends on Friday, January 13, 2017, about 11:19 p.m. when the incident began.
“It also happened to be my friend’s birthday, so I can remember quite vividly what happened,” the witness stated.“I got out of work around eight o’clock and I went home to let my dog out and I went out to the lake to go see him and hang out with friends. I got to his house around 9 and we hung out for 45 minutes or so when we decided to go to Walmart with his brother and another friend because I just bought a new car and he wanted to get a video game.”
So the group all piled into the car and drove to Walmart.
“We left the Brewer Walmart around 10:50 right before they closed at 11 and we headed back towards Orrington. We were heading up the Brewer Lake Road and went around an ‘S’ turn and we had noticed these red lights down the road above the dam on the lake. We aren’t far away from Bangor International Airport so it didn’t seem like there was anything unusual about something like that; it looked like it was just beyond the dam and it was flying parallel to the road, so it looked like it could have been a plane coming in.”

But there was something unusual about the lights.
“When we saw it, I started talking about, I swear,how I saw a UFO the previous January. As we drove down the road closer to the object, (and I’m still talking about the UFO) it was like it heard me talking about UFOs because this triangular silhouette went from being far off the road and fairly high in the air (500 – 700 feet) to swooping in very close probably 400 feet off the road and 200 feet high.”
The witness described how the object moved.
“The way the object moved down closer was very odd and I was euphoric, but terrified at the same time. It was flat with the horizon when the object dipped up one side at 20 to 30 degrees and swooped in closer.The best way to describe it is the way a feather or a leaf falls to the ground and swoops side-to-side. After it swooped down close to the car everyone started to have this moment of awe, yet panicky.”
The witness slowed down the car and pulled off to the side of the road.
“It was just us four at the time because it was 11 at night. I turned the radio off and I rolled all the windows down and it was dead silent. That too-quiet type of quiets – and we were all looking at the black equilateral triangle that had glowing bright red lights on each end. The object also had a center light that glowed white and the object was dark against the clear night sky and it had to have been 40 to 60 feet across.”
As the group looked at the object, one of the friends in the back seat pulled out her phone and tried to film it on her iPhone.
“But we looked at the video after and we couldn’t see anything but darkness. While she was filming, I kept almost driving my new car off the road into a ditch because this object seemed to be hovering closer to us.”

The witness was afraid as the object moved closer to the vehicle and was not sure what to do. Then a second object was seen.
“I kept driving slowly down the road going back to my friend’s house and we turned the corner away from the UFO, and this bigger, triangular thing was across the lake above the Holden/Bucksport side of the lake heading towards the direction of the black triangle UFO. This could have been an airplane, but it was still dead silent. I was still driving slowly down the road when I stopped and started talking to everyone in the car and we decided to turn around and go back and investigate.”
The group returned to the area where they first saw the object.
“When we went back to the area where I pulled off the road, of course, the object was gone along with whatever the larger object was. For weeks after I kept dreaming about that 4 or 5 minutes of my life and it was odd it happened on Friday the 13th. The photo is just a quick sketch I did at work with the blue representing the red lights.”
Orrington is a town on the Penobscot River estuary in Penobscot County, Maine, population 3,733. Maine MUFON Assistant State Director Valerie Shultz is investigating. Triangle UFOs have reportedly been seen all over the US, according to MUFON.
UFO investigators are looking into a case when a man said he encountered a low flying, silent, triangle-shaped object along a rural road.
The man in Orrington, Maine, was driving with friends at 11.19pm local time when the incident happened.
He reported it the the US-based Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) which is investigating the growing phenomenon.
In a report to the organisation, which keeps a global database of UFO cases it investigates, the witness said: "We were heading up the Brewer Lake Road and went around an ‘S’ turn and we had noticed these red lights down the road above the dam on the lake."
He initially thought it could be a plane from Bangor International Airport.
He added: "But there was something unusual about the lights.
“This triangular silhouette went from being far off the road and fairly high in the air (500 – 700 feet) to swooping in very close probably 400 feet off the road and 200 feet high.
“The way the object moved down closer was very odd and I was euphoric, but terrified at the same time.
"It was flat with the horizon when the object dipped up one side at 20 to 30 degrees and swooped in closer.
"The best way to describe it is the way a feather or a leaf falls to the ground and swoops side-to-side. After it swooped down close to the car everyone started to have this moment of awe, yet panicky.”
The man went on to describe a bizarre encounter that they tried to film.
He said: "We were all looking at the black equilateral triangle that had glowing bright red lights on each end.
"The object also had a centre light that glowed white and the object was dark against the clear night sky and it had to have been 40 to 60 feet across.
“But we looked at the video after and we couldn’t see anything but darkness.
"While she was filming, I kept almost driving my new car off the road into a ditch because this object seemed to be hovering closer to us.”
The group said they saw a second, larger triangular object in the sky.

The report added: "We turned the corner away from the UFO, and this bigger, triangular thing was across the lake above the Holden/Bucksport side of the lake heading towards the direction of the black triangle UFO.
"This could have been an aeroplane, but it was still dead silent.
“For weeks after I kept dreaming about that 4 or 5 minutes of my life and it was odd it happened on Friday the 13th."
The incident was in January, but has just been reported to MUFON.
Maine MUFON Assistant State Director Valerie Shultz is investigating.
A MUFON spokesman said: "Please remember that most UFO sightings can be explained as something natural or man-made."
In December Express.co.uk revealed the huge number of similar triangle UFO reports being made to MUFON.
The reports are often eerily similar, leading to speculation the bizarre UFOs could be REAL.
Many reports tell of a silent triangle shape, defined by a series of lights, that are said to be in some cases as big as a football field, moving slowly across the sky.
Scott Brando runs website ufoofinterest.org which exposes hoax UFO sightings.
He is sceptical any unexplainable sightings have been made.
Mr Brando says triangle UFOs are usually aircraft or military flares.
He told Express.co.uk: “About other similar sightings I'd like to see some reports by MUFON, however many formation of sky lanterns or the launch of skydivers Golden Knights were often mistaken for UFOs.”

THIS strange rock with "alien symbols" could have come from a flying saucer that allegedly crashed in the New Mexico desert nearly 70 years ago, according to UFO conspiracy theorists.
Known as the Roswell Rock, it is still being debated on websites as the potential smoking gun evidence in the world's biggest unsolved UFO mystery.
Roswell has been at the heart of UFO conspiracy theories since July 1947 when the military sensationally announced it had found the remains of a crashed flying saucer in the desert nearby.
But the following day it retracted the statement, saying it was in fact a damaged US Air Force air balloon.
Witnesses later came forward to say there had been alien bodies within the "crashed craft", which along with the wreckage were then taken to the mysterious top-secret Area 51 military base in Nevada.
Roswell now holds an annual UFO festival because of its notoriety, and sightings are still taking place.

The Roswell Rock has been linked to the alleged UFO crash of 1947.
The rock was actually found around 25 miles from the alleged crash site in 2004.
According to believers, the rock has magnetic properties and markings etched into it that are similar to those found inside crop circles across the world.
Debate about the origins of the rock were fuelled this week after it appeared in a new online video.
Tyler Glockner, founder of YouTube channel Secureteam10 said in the short film: "It was discovered back in 2004, sticking out of the dirt in Roswell, New Mexico, in a basically barren, empty area of desert close to where the infamous Roswell crash occurred.
“The rock was very smooth, rounded, and it contained these mysterious symbols that looked to show almost what looks like a lunar cycle of the Moon.
“It’s been theorised that this rock may have been part of the wreckage from the Roswell crash.

“Or, that this rock – which is said to hold some very mysterious powers, was actually left behind by a previous alien visitation, and that the Roswell crash was what occurred when these aliens had come back to Earth to retrieve the mystery rock.”
It is claimed that if magnets are placed near the stone it spins in circles, but this has not been filmed.
Despite the ongoing debate about the rock, sceptics claim it is nothing more than a hoax, and the creator of it previously came forward.
A post on a discussion about the rock on ufocon.blogspot.co.uk said: "That's a several years old hoax, I think. If memory serves, an artist came forward and admitted making it.
Even some well known Roswell researchers are not convinced the rock has anything to do with the alleged UFO crash.
UFO researcher Kevin Randle said: "I suppose what we’re supposed to deduce here is that this rock had been in the spacecraft before the crash and that somehow it was ejected with no sign of the destruction of the craft, to be found, literally miles and miles from the crash site by a bow hunter.
"The fact he was in New Mexico doesn’t mean that this rock had anything to do with the events of July 1947 and there is absolutely no way to connect it to 1947, just as they had been no way to connect any of these other items to the crash."
He said similar rocks had even been on sale at a UFO festival in Roswell in the 1990s.
He added: "We can close another chapter on the Roswell UFO crash.
"Clearly the rock had nothing to do with it and had it not been found in central New Mexico, no one would have taken a second look at it."

UFO hunters were particularly interested in the latest finding because of the object's bizarre shape.
Normally icebergs come in a wide range of shapes and sizes.
But the keen-eyed UFO hunters claim that this iceberg does not fit any of the most common categories of iceberg.
'Icebergs can be classified on the basis of their shape,' wrote UFO Sightings Hotspot.
'The two basic types of iceberg forms are tabular and non-tabular.
'The shapes and forms from this iceberg look very different if we compare it with all the different shapes and forms of tabular and non-tabular icebergs.'
But conspiracy theorists have put forward the bizarre claim that the object is in fact a large extraterrestrial base.
The object can be seen on Google maps by searching the coordinates 72°43'13.53"S 78°40'21.56"W.
'I'm not an iceberg expert but this object is really peculiar and looks like a vessel disguised as an iceberg,' wrote the website UFO Sightings Hotspot.
'It looks out of place.'
To most people Antarctica is a barren wasteland of ice and snow found at the bottom of the globe.
But UFO hunters believe it could house extraterrestrial bases and life, acting as the perfect hiding spot due to its lack of human settlers.
Previous strange theories around the continent have suggested that UFOs are parked inside of Antarctic caves.

Misschien komt het doordat het drukker wordt in het luchtruim dat er steeds vaker UFO’s worden waargenomen door passagiers vanuit vliegtuigen?
Ook nu zijn er enkele van die waarnemingen in Amerika, waarbij eentje bij een bekende onderwaterbasis voor UFO’s, net voor de kust van Californië.
Op 7 april 2017 reist een gezin met een vliegtuig van de luchtvaartmaatschappij Frontier van Philadelphia in Pennsylvania naar Charlotte in North Carolina.
Het is rond de middag en hun 7-jarige zoon zit bij het raam en roept naar zijn ouders om naar buiten te kijken omdat hij een ruimteschip in de lucht ziet.
De ouders nemen meerdere foto’s en wanneer je inzoomt, dan zie je inderdaad een aantal objecten die niet thuishoren in het landschap.
Volgens UFO experts zijn het ook grote objecten, ongeveer een paar kilometer in lengte. Waar deze waarneming veel op lijkt, zijn de UFO’s die enkele jaren geleden door mijnwerkers in Chili werden waargenomen en waar toen kleinere UFO’s uit tevoorschijn kwamen.
Wat we wel hebben geleerd in de loop der jaren is om dit soort objecten niet af te doen als “wolken”, want dikwijls blijken ze dat echt niet te zijn.
Naast dit verhaal is er nog een vergelijkbare waarneming, eveneens door een gezin uit Amerika aan boord van een vliegtuig, dit keer van Los Angeles naar Hawaï.
Het verhaal wordt verteld door Carlos en Yvette die net na het opstijgen vanaf Los Angeles vanuit het raam een zilverkleurige glinsterende schijf zien. Het object scheen volkomen stil te hangen en nadat men erin geslaagd was om een aantal foto’s te nemen, was het plotsklaps verdwenen.
In de video hieronder wordt het stel geïnterviewd door onderzoeker L.A. Mazulli die heel erg geïnteresseerd is in dit object, omdat het is gefilmd net voor de kust waar zich al jaren een zogenaamde UFO hotspot bevindt en er sprake schijnt te zijn van een ondergronds UFO basis voor de kust.
Nu lijkt het erop dat de ingang van deze basis, net voor de kust van Californië, misschien is ontdekt.
Onlangs werd er via een het Amerikaanse radiostation, Dark Matter Radio, een bizarre ontdekking bekendgemaakt.
Het betreft een gigantische onderwateringang net voor de kust van Malibu bij wat men noemt Point Dume. Het is een soort plateaustructuur van ongeveer 2,2 bij 4 kilometer. Het bevindt zich op een afstand van precies 6,66 mijl (10,7 kilometer) vanaf de kust.
De ruimte tussen de pilaren is 837 meter en de hoogte 192 meter. Het dak van het plateau is 150 meter dik en lijkt zelfs bestand tegen nucleaire explosies. Het geheel bevindt zich op een diepte van 450 meter onderwater.
De streek rond Malibu is al jarenlang een “hotspot” voor UFO’s en ook doen al die tijd al verhalen de ronde over een ondergrondse buitenaardse basis voor de kust. Is dit dan misschien eindelijk de oplossing voor dit raadsel?
De ingang is groot genoeg voor ruimteschepen van aanzienlijke omvang en eventueel ook voor nucleaire onderzeeërs. Al vanaf de jaren vijftig worden er met grote regelmaat UFO’s waargenomen in dit deel van Californië. In de jaren zeventig was het de gewoonte van veel gezinnen om als uitje naar Point Dume te gaan om daar de veelkleurige UFO’s onder water te zien verdwijnen.

The digital eye is more perfect and catches more detail than our flawed human eyes. Here is such an example. A UFO was hovering in a secluded wooded area over a house when it was caught. It was probably over the house to scan its residence, their mental and physical health and the technology in the home.

While sky fishing (taking a cluster of photos less than a second apart of the same spot of the sky) I captured a silver sphere. I had seen light anomalies in this particular part of the sky and landscape in the past and decided to take a burst of 35 photos to see if I could capture anything. Upon examining the photos, 1 of them showed a small silver sphere hovering over a house/wooded area. It was tough to gauge the distance and the size of the object. There were no birds or bugs close to the camera (iPhone) at the time and no other blurs,that would suggest something was in flight,showed up in any of the other photos.

Do you remember a report where I personally was on top of my 8 floor apartment building and spotted a baseball size translucent orb rise up from the buildings edge at a speed of 5 inches a second...3 meters from me? It looked like the orb above, but then when I flipped my tripod 180 degrees to face it, it had shot 50 meters away in 2 seconds! Yes, I got it on video, but at that distance it looked white, like the photo below. I frightened it by moving fast, and its color changed...it reacted to my fast movement at grabbing the tripod behind me. What I'm saying is that this is 100% real. This is a an entity that can hear our thoughts...thats how I called it to me in the first place. (Video of my experience here)

Eyewitness states:
While on a Delta Airlines flight from NY to Fort Lauderdale flying over the Norther Atlantic Ocean, flying at approximately 29,000 feet, several passengers and I observed a silver oval object hovering over the clouds. The object changed from solid to translucent. I took several photographs of the object with my I-phone. The object was at an altitude of approximately 40,000 feet. The object was last observed moving in an unknown direction into clouds. No other aircraft were observed at the time of the sighting. At first sight I thought the object was a plane and then a weather balloon, but then the object was observed to appear to almost disappear/invisible or become translucent in quick intervals.
Below you can't see it, but I had my camera on a tripod facing the sky behind me...but the UFO appeared in front of me2-3 meters ahead. So I lunged at the tripod, flipping it, but that little @#$#ing UFO shot off 50 meters pissing me all to hell.
A couple has released a clip showing a strange object that they suspected a UFO. Auckland couple Lance and Patricia Rasmussen said they have been observing coloured orbs flying in the sky for the past year at their home in Manukau Heads.
They said the objects’ descriptions do not fit any terrestrial origins, such as drones or planes.
Security cameras captured a video of a circular object hovering in the sky metres away from the couple’s home.
For several seconds, the object darts in various directions, before flying upwards in tremendous speed and off the camera’s view.
Mrs Rasmussen said that they had taken hundreds of pictures showing different objects hovering metres away over their roof.
Mr Rasmussen shared that these mysterious objects have the size three times of a CD and have the ability to change shapes. He added that they also stay up for more than two or three hours while changing colours right in front of their eyes, according to Mr Rasmussen.
The couple is not sure whether these objects mean any harm or anything like it. They also filed a report to the Civil Aviation Authority about the strange incidents they have been encountering. However, the CAA spokesperson said that they always tell people who reported UFOs that if there was something untoward, then they expect it to be airways or pilots have something to do with it.
