Amazing footage: Flashing orbs over West Kelowna, Canada 27-Apr-2017
Amazing footage: Flashing orbs over West Kelowna, Canada 27-Apr-2017
This interesting footage of a multiple objects flying across the sky above West Kelowna in BC, Canada was filmed on 27th April 2017.
Witness report:
On Thursday April 27, 2017 at approximately 7:30 pm in West Kelowna, British Columbia, I was travelling home with my 3 daughters. My 6 year old daughter said “Daddy, what are those flashing lights in the sky?” I was travelling in the southwest direction and I looked up to my left and I noticed several (approximatley 6) flashing lights up in the sky that appeared to flashing and what I would describe as dancing in the sky. At first I wasn’t sure what to make of them. I thought they were some sort of flares or even military aircraft doing some sort of exercise. But since I live in the Okanagan valley and there is no Air Force bases in the area, I knew they were not any of conventional military aircraft. The objects that I was observing were absolutely silent. Given the way these object were moving in the sky, I then realized that what I was witnessing was not a normal or easily explainable occurrence and was most likely Extra Terrestrial in nature.
I quickly pulled off to the side of the road and grabbed my phoned got out of my vehicle to start video recording the lights. Thats when I noticed a second group of (approximatley 4 or 5) that suddenly appeared below the first group. They looked like they were flying closer to Okanagan Lake before the flew upward to join the first group. The two groups formed two separate formations and proceeded to fly eastward towards Kelowna. I had my camera zoomed in and locked on both groups and continued to record them as they were flying away. Or so I thought. After approximately 20-30 seconds of “recording”, I realized that I didn’t actually hit the record button on my phone. I quickly hit the record button and was able to zoom in on the luminous objects as they were flying away. I was able to record the lights, (which were flying in two groups, one approximately 6, the other approximately 4) for about 30 seconds until they essentially were out of sight.
Important points: although it was early evening and the sun was starting to set, there was still plenty of daylight outside. These objects were extremely bright in sky. I am absolutely certain they were neither airplanes of any type or birds. the objects appeared to be well below the clouds when I first noticed them as well as below the tops of the mountains. The second group of lights appeared tore flying lower in the valley near the lake although it did not occur to me at first but what I witnessed I would describe as orange glowing orbs since I did not observe any sort of metallic craft with any visible lines. Only lights the objects that I observed were absolutely silent.
British Witness Spots UFOs Following Passenger Aircraft
British Witness Spots UFOs Following Passenger Aircraft
The witness thought of balloons reflecting bright sunlight for a moment, but the UFOs remained at a constant speed, moved with direction and turned relative to each other while maintaining the same distance from each other. The witness also noticed that the mysterious aerial objects seemed to emit a constant light and not reflect it. They explained that balloons would change intensity upon tilting relative to the observer and the sun.
The witness stated that the aircraft did not land at a London airport. They estimated the plane, which had a vapor trail, to be over 15,000-20,000 feet above the ground. Great Britain MUFON is investigating the case, which is filed under Case 82822 in the witness reporting database.
So-Called Apocalyptic Fireball Caught On Videos From Different Locations
So-Called Apocalyptic Fireball Caught On Videos From Different Locations
The sight of a flaming ball falling from the sky has made some viewers baffled and frightened. Two videos recorded from two separate places caught an apparent the same sight of what seemed like a massive fireball.
Taken in Louisiana on April 29, the first video shows what looks like a falling object from the sky having a huge trail of smoke behind.
The second video, which then uploaded on the same night, was recorded from neighbouring state of Texas. It also shows a large UFO falling to the ground with a bright reddish colour around it and a huge trail behind.
Both videos show a seemingly burning fire falling out of the sky or a bomb coming down to the Earth’s surface.
Some UFO hunters suggest it could be an unusual weather phenomenon or a downed satellite.
Other commenters joked about the two videos saying they show Superman from Krypton coming down to Earth.
Others described the incident as alarming as it involved an apocalyptic fireball streaking across the sky above the two states in the U.S. As of posting time, no official explanation yet as to what caused such thing to happen. One user commented that how come the thing considered apocalyptic as it never made a big headline moments after both videos circulated online.
Ohio witness encounters hovering sphere at tree level
Ohio witness encounters hovering sphere at tree level
An Ohio witness at Sagamore Hills Township reported driving toward an unknown light and discovered a hovering sphere just above the tree line, according to testimony in Case 83449 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness first saw an unusual light in the sky and drove toward it along Chaffee Road in Sagamore Hills Township, Ohio.

The witness was driving home from a gym at 9:30 p.m. on April 30, 2017, when the incident began.
“For some reason, I passed up my street, continued down a main road looking for somewhere to turn around, when a light caught my eye,” the witness stated.“I assumed it was a plane, but upon further inspection I realized it wasn’t.”
The witness discovered a sphere hovering at the tree top level. Pictured: Chaffee Road in Sagamore Hills Township, Ohio.

The witness continued driving toward the light.
“I parked my car in the middle of a side road where either a saucer or possibly a sphere was hovering above the tree line. It stood hovering for a few minutes, silently may I add, and then darted incredibly quickly(as in hundreds of miles per hour) down the tree line, instantaneously changed direction back to its original location and then shot up into the sky and out of sight.”
The witness was amazed.
The object moved away at incredible speed. Pictured: Chaffee Road in Sagamore Hills Township, Ohio.

“I have tried incredibly hard to think of what else it could have been, but I just can’t disprove what I saw. I then sat in my car, dumbstruck, for minutes until returning home. For those who want to look up a map, the road is called Chaffee Road.”
Ohio MUFON Field Investigator Scott Miller is investigating.
Sagamore Hills Township is one of nine townships in Summit County, Ohio, population 9,340. Please remember that most UFO sightings can be explained as something natural or man-made. The above quotes were edited for clarity. Please report UFO activity to MUFON.com.

Count up all the stuff in a galaxy and you should have a pretty good understanding of how much light is being emitted. But that doesn’t seem to be the case for our own Milky Way. Our galaxy’s got a source of extra gamma rays, the highest-energy light, right in its center. And scientists don’t know where all that energy’s coming from.
We’ve known about the gamma ray excess since 2009, and groups using the Fermi Large Area Telescope, the main instrument on a gamma ray telescope orbiting the Earth, continue to spot it. Could the light be coming from dark matter? Aliens? After some modeling, scientists think they’ve got the answer: Pulsars, incredibly dense, rapidly-spinning cores of ancient stars that shoot beams of radiation out like lighthouses. (And, sorry, I’m not talking about fast radio bursts, as cool and mysterious as they may be.)
To figure out what could be causing the eerie gamma glow, the researchers needed a more accurate model of unresolved portions of the galaxy. So, they made a list of 400 objects in the center of the galaxy that could be contributing to the anomaly, then whittled that list down to 66 pulsar candidates. They put this updated data back into their computer simulation, and it seemed to account for the the excess radiation.
“From our findings, there should be this population of pulsars in the galactic bulge around the galactic center,” study author Mattia di Mauro from the from the Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology (KIPAC) at Stanford University told Gizmodo. “These should explain the [excess] energy.”
Artwork: NASA/CXC/University of Massachusetts/D. Wang et al.; Greg Stewart/SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory
This model might seem to be the most accurate interpretation for the unusual gamma ray light, but there are caveats—for one, the paper was posted on the arXiv server as a preprint, meaning other scientists haven’t had a chance to give input yet. Additionally, said di Mauro, the researchers determined which of their 400 sources were actually pulsars using gamma rays. It’s much easier to determine whether a pulsar is really a pulsar with a radio telescope, though, so the team will make those radio measurements next in order to verify their findings.
As for the other theories, the researchers also tested whether or not the excess could have come from long sought-after dark matter particles, a popular prior theory. Dark matter is the mysterious stuff that seems to account for 80 percent of the measured gravity of the universe—but according to the new model, it wasn’t the source of this mysterious light.
“In our paper... we find that if we use dark matter as an interpretation, the distribution of pulsar-like sources is not consistent with what we have in the real sky.”
One researcher who wasn’t involved with the story found the rejection of dark matter exciting. “We all want dark matter to be there but I like that there’s a systematic and careful analysis, asking if there are more astrophysical sources we weren’t good enough at finding before,” Renée Hlo¸ek, Assistant Professor of Astrophysics at the University of Toronto told Gizmodo. “I don’t think dark matter’s dead, yet but I’m glad astrophysics is being counted on more to explain these anomalies.”
After all, that’s what science is about, she said. “We keep figuring out what dark matter isn’t until we figure out what it is.”

Coming Soon? Scientists Discuss Potential Breakthroughs in Alien-Life Search

It was a good week for astrobiology. Within days of NASA’s announcement that the necessary ingredients for life likely exist in the Saturn moon Enceladus' subsurface ocean, scientists gathered at Stanford University to discuss discovering life outside the solar system.
Noting how "the search for life in the universe has been transformed from speculation to a data-driven science," speakers like Stanford physicist Peter Michelson offered detailed plans for finding life on exoplanets.
Over the course of two days on April 20-21, dozens of scientists attending the Breakthrough Discuss conference contemplated options for exploring planets in other star systems. These options include using a new generation of powerful telescopes for long-distance observations, as well as advancing a first-of-its-kind technology to visit other star systems — all within the next generation. [10 Exoplanets That Could Host Alien Life]
What these strategies have in common is a focus on observing habitable-zone planets in our local stellar neighborhood. In this neighborhood alone, within 30 light-years or so of our solar system, astrobiologists have already identified several potentially Earth-like exoplanets and dozens of systems that may harbor Earth-like worlds.
These exoplanets, identified by the effects they have on their parent star, are rocky and roughly the same size and density as Earth. They orbit their stars at a distance that would allow liquid water to exist on the surface, given the right atmospheric conditions. There is, however, at least one major difference between our planet and these potentially-habitable exoplanets: They aren't circling stars like our sun.
The diagram shows how new technology developed at Caltech will help astronomers search for molecular bio-signatures on exoplanets. Coronagraphs block a star's light, making orbiting planets easier to see. High-resolution spectrometers would help further isolate a planet's light, and could reveal molecules in the planet's atmosphere.

On the spectrum of stars, our sun is what's known as a yellow dwarf. It's bright, and not terribly large compared to the largest stars in our galaxy. Yet, even middling stars like our sun aren't all that common. Our local stellar neighborhood — and probably the universe as a whole — is filled with many more low-mass stars. There are 20 yellow dwarf stars like our sun nearby and 250 M-dwarfs, a variety of star so small and dim that, despite their abundance, they can't be seen with the naked eye. Over the last three to four years, every single low-mass star we've studied appears to have at least one planet. Usually, they have more than one.
"How common are planets orbiting low-mass stars? Very common indeed," Courtney Dressing, an astronomer at the University of California, Berkeley, said during a presentation at the conference. "For a typical M-dwarf, there tends to be 2.5 planets. One in four of the stars has a planet the same size and temperature as Earth in the habitable zone."
Dressing's point was that, given the number of M-dwarfs in the local region, there should be at least 60 potentially Earth-like planets in habitable zones within 32 or so light-years from here, and perhaps many more. To date, most of our exoplanet data comes from NASA's Kepler spacecraft, which has focused its search for planets on large M-dwarf stars. In the near future, when the small and medium-sized M-dwarfs are studied, we may discover that closer to one in three stars have an Earth-like planet in the habitable zone.
Apart from their abundance, these low-mass stars offer other advantages to researchers who study potentially habitable exoplanets. M-dwarf planets have tight orbits around their stars because the habitable zones are close in, giving scientists opportunities to view their transits every few weeks. It is during these transits, when the exoplanets pass in front of their stars, that we have the best opportunity to study their atmospheres for signs of life. [5 Bold Claims of Alien Life]

Many conference attendees, including Mercedes López-Morales from the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, explained how we will be surveying the atmospheres of the closest habitable-zone planets for signs of life dwelling on the surface or in an ocean. "We're going to look for oxygen," she said.
Because the rise of oxygen in Earth's atmosphere corresponded with the appearance of life, we frequently use that particular molecule as a marker for the presence of life elsewhere. Also, oxygen likes to interact with other chemicals. If we discover a planet where oxygen is still hanging around in the atmosphere, something, possibly life, is actively making it. So, the search for life will focus on elements and molecules like hydrogen, oxygen, and methane. However, as López-Morales explained, there is a downside to this approach.
"A planet's atmosphere is only 1 percent the size of the planet," she said. "The size of the signal is tiny. You need to collect at least one trillion photons to be very certain that you are truly looking at oxygen."
The good news is that a new generation of telescopes designed for planetary exploration and astrobiology will soon be coming online to help us gather those photons. Around this time next year, NASA's Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) will be getting ready for launch. During its two-year mission, TESS will survey 200,000 stars, including the brighter ones in our local systems.
The Giant Magellan Telescope (GMT) in Chile, slated to be operational by 2022, will have a resolving power 10 times greater than NASA's famous Hubble Space Telescope. The GMT will feature a device called the G-CLEF spectrograph, which will be able to see molecules like oxygen in far-off planetary atmospheres. Finally, when the ground-based European Extremely Large Telescope (E-ELT) opens in 2024, it will have more light-gathering-power than all of Earth's current 8- to 10-meter telescopes combined. Astrobiologists are counting on these large telescopes coming online between now and 2024 to identify the prime candidates to look for oxygen and life in our stellar neighborhood.
Even as we anticipate a treasure trove of atmospheric data from these missions, scientists are discovering species that live quite happily without oxygen, light, and other features that we used to believe were required for life. These discoveries highlight how atmospheric biosignatures like oxygen are an imperfect, if tantalizing, way to look for life from afar. The question then becomes: Could there be there another way to look for extraterrestrial life beyond studying exoplanet atmospheres?
Ideally, to definitively identify life on other worlds, we would visit nearby planets like Proxima b, only 4 light-years away, either in person or with a spacecraft. This is the goal of the Breakthrough Starshot initiative. Announced a little more than a year ago, Starshot’s goal, according to its founder, is to "literally reach the stars in our lifetimes." The plan to accomplish this feat involves launching a fleet of very small spacecraft. Starshot will then accelerate these craft to about 20 percent the speed of light using powerful ground-based lasers. This strategy should allow scientists and engineers to slash the time, cost, and weight required to gain an up-close look at planets around other stars, project representatives have said.
"The goal is to fly a probe very close to a planet and figure out if it has life," said theorist Avi Loeb, chair of Harvard University's astronomy department. "What is the color of the planet? Is it green? Does it have vegetation? Is it blue, are there oceans? Or is it desert-like?" [Laser-Sailing to Exoplanets: Images of the Breakthrough Starshot Concept]
At the conference, NASA engineer Ruslan Belikov premiered simulations of what an exoplanet might look like from Starshot's point of view. Even if the craft were moving at 90 percent the speed of light, the onboard cameras should still be able to pick up signs of large oceans, clouds and land masses that an exoplanet might have, Belikov said.
The hope is that, someday, by combining laser acceleration of these very small craft with cameras and other sensors, we might finally be able to take a firsthand look at habitable-zone planets circling nearby stars, and, in so doing, perhaps definitively find life elsewhere in the universe. Combining data from our new generation of very large telescopes with atmospheric observations of nearby exoplanets around M-dwarfs may help us choose the best targets for small Starshot craft to fly by.
"We are going to be the generation that is remembered for finding exoplanets. That's a fact," López-Morales said. "Are we going to be also the generation that will be remembered as the first ones who found life on those planets?"
That, indeed, would be the breakthrough of a lifetime.
Stephen Hawking adjusted his doomsday timer for Earth, slashing 900 years from his initial 1,000-year estimate. According to the famous physicist, humanity has a century left to evacuate the planet and become multi-planetary species.
ESCAPING EARTH
Over the past century or so, humanity has accomplished a great deal of innovation. We learned to fly (at least with the help of airplanes), built huge machines, cured diseases, and developed computers, the Internet, and smart devices. At the same time, we’ve caused our fair share of destruction, too: in the form of several wars — two of which were world wars — and, of interest as of late, man-made climate change. Now, renowned physicist Stephen Hawking thinks we have 100 years left before doomsday — and we need to get off Earth long before that comes to pass.
This isn’t the first time Hawking has given a doomsday prediction. In recent years, he’s warned about how super artificial intelligence (AI) would end humankind and how contacting extraterrestrial life would go bonkers for humanity. Then in November of last year, he said we have 1,000 years to leave Earth. Now, he’s cut it down to 100 — leaving us to wonder just how bad the past six months have been. They’d arguably have to have been pretty bad for Hawking to drastically cut our time on Earth by 900 years in one fell swoop.
The details of Hawking’s latest doomsday warning will be featured in a new BBC documentary airing on June 15 called Expedition New Earth, where he suggests that humanity needs to be a multi-planetary species within the next century in order to survive.
OUR DAYS ARE NUMBERED
Hawking explains that humankind’s days on Earth are already numbered because of climate change, asteroid strikes, epidemics, and overpopulation. The only way to survive? We need to change planets, and fast. A lot could happen in 100 years, and we’ve proven that we’re capable of discovering and developing many things within a century. But could we really go multi-planetary in that timeframe?
A team out of Beijing, China has developed and built another giant robot that it wants to enter in the upcoming robot battle set for August.
The Monkey King can fight on all fours or standing on two legs while holding a staff.
The upcoming MegaBots battle was just delivered a surprise twist with another giant bot looking to square up in the ring. What was originally a two titan grudge match for the ages now has the potential of becoming a three-way death match rife with black blood and twisted metal.
This new contender hails from Beijing’s Greatmetal and goes by the name of Monkey King. This behemoth sets itself apart from the competition with its ability to fight both on all fours and bipedally. Even more, it can wield a staff while fighting on its hind legs.
The Monkey King could go up against the Mk. III from the U.S. or Japan’s KURATAS. The original plan was for the American and Japanese bots to square off sometime in August. And, while a three-way melee sounds incredible, it might be more likely that the champion from the planned fight in August would earn the right to go toe-to-toe with royalty in a more tournament-style match.
This could be the start of a brand new sports league combining the brains of robotics with all the muscle of pro-sports. Stay tuned for updates on the exact date and time of the first brawl as well as any more hints as to whether or not the Monkey King will be joining the fray.

If Aliens Visit, Don't Expect a Hollywood Ending, Ridley Scott Warns
If Aliens Visit, Don't Expect a Hollywood Ending, Ridley Scott Warns
By Mindy Weisberger, Senior Writer

Film director Ridley Scott, who delights in terrifying moviegoers with his cinematic blend of horror and science fiction, suggested in a recent interview that the scary prospect of belligerent invading aliens might transcend the realm of sci-fi. According to Scott, hundreds of alien species are "out there" on distant worlds, and Earth's inhabitants should prepare for the worst if they ever decide to visit our planet.
One scientist, though, says that Scott's information about such hostile, and abundant, aliens is off-base and unsupported.
Scott told Agence France-Presse (AFP) about his belief in "superior beings," while fielding questions about his latest movie, "Alien: Covenant," opening in theaters in the U.S. on May 19. He warned that any extraterrestrial travelers who are technologically advanced enough to show up on our doorstep would likely be very intelligent and very hostile. And unlike the scenarios that dominate movies — if we go toe-to-toe with these invaders, we probably won't be the victors, he said.
In the interview, Scott explained that "the experts" estimate there are "between 100 and 200 entities" on other planets, following what could be a similar evolutionary path to ours. And if they get here first, our best bet would be to "run for it," AFP reported.
The possibility of intelligent, technologically adept alien life has intrigued science-fiction writers and readers since the French writer Voltaire published his short story "Micromégas" in 1752, describing two extraterrestrial visitors to Earth — one from the planet Saturn and one from a planet orbiting the star Sirius.
Scott has made his own contributions to the genre, most notably with his string of "Alien" movies, which imagine a highly adaptable and morphologically flexible alien species. The so-called xenomorphs breed quickly and are ruthlessly efficient at overpowering humans, either swiftly dismembering them or cultivating them as hosts for their young — luckily, in isolated locations that are far from our home planet.
But though Scott is a skilled sci-fi yarn-spinner, his assessment of real-world alien threats could use a script doctor, according to Seth Shostak, senior astronomer with the SETI Institute, a research institution dedicated to the search for communication signals produced by intelligent extraterrestrial life.
To begin with, Scott's "expert" estimate of 100 to 200 "entities" is entirely unsubstantiated, Shostak told Live Science.
"We have absolutely no data that would tell you what that number might be," he said.
In fact, estimates based on data about known planets and galaxies suggest that the actual number of intelligent extraterrestrial life forms could, in fact, be significantly higher. With approximately 1 trillion planets in our galaxy alone, and about 2 trillion more galaxies, that adds up to…well, it's a lot of planets, Shostak said. [Why Do We Imagine Aliens as 'Little Green Men'?]
To narrow the search a bit, scientists could start by just looking at the trillion planets in our own galaxy, he said. Only a fraction of those planets might be capable of supporting life — perhaps 1 in 10. And maybe only 1 in 1,000 could produce and support life more complex than bacteria, he said.
That gives us about a billion planets in our galaxy that might harbor some type of intelligent life. But over time, life on many of those planets could have already waxed and waned — self-destructed or been wiped out. Perhaps only one planet in a million of those intelligent-life-harboring worlds still support life capable of contacting humans. That adds up to about 1,000 planets that could potentially hold intelligent, extraterrestrial species, Shostak told Live Science.
However, if a planet is more than 70 light-years from Earth, it hasn't yet received any radio signals from us. Its residents, no matter how technologically adept, wouldn't know humans exist yet. Even if long-distance observations of Earth told them we had oxygen in our atmosphere — and thereby some form of life — they'd be very unlikely to travel all this way to look at what might amount to just a lot of bacteria, Shostak added.
Neither would extraterrestrials be likely to invade our solar system merely to steal our resources, he said. If a civilization is advanced enough that they've exhausted all the resources of their entire star system — every planet, moon and asteroid — and are all out of natural materials, they're probably at a stage where they could create what they needed from simpler materials in their own backyard, rather than traveling across the galaxy for a very limited supply, Shostak said.
It's equally unlikely they'd be showing up because they thought humans would make an excellent addition to their diet, he said.
"To do that, they would have to know that we had something interesting within our bodies that they could metabolize, and their body chemistry would probably be very different from ours," Shostak said.
But Scott did get one thing right: If extraterrestrials are capable of building spacecraft that can transport them to our planet, they certainly would be technologically "superior" to people, Shostak said. And if he saw a spaceship suddenly appear, Shostak admitted that he'd probably do as Scott suggested — and just "run for it."

Spherical Drone Display Looks Like 360-Degree Flying Screen
Spherical Drone Display Looks Like 360-Degree Flying Screen

Forget plane-pulled banners ― there may be a new way to advertise in the sky.
The Japanese telecom company NTT DOCOMO recently revealed what it claims is the "world's first spherical drone display." Although it appears to be a solid, globe-shaped screen while in flight, the display is actually an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV, or drone) inside a spherical frame with curved LED strips. The LEDs spin rapidly during flight, creating the illusion of a spherical screen. The drone display was showcased April 29-30 during the Niconico Chokaigi conference, a festival of Japan's internet culture.
Though the technology is not yet ready for commercial use, the company said it should be available by March 2019. These flying screens could be used for advertisements during a sporting event, or to display information at a concert, according to DOCOMO. [Photos from Above: 8 Cool Camera-Carrying Drones]
"Going forward, the company will explore potential entertainment and messaging solutions for event venues, including stadiums and concert halls," company officials wrote in a statement. Previously, it was challenging to equip a drone with a spherical display because it interfered with the airflow of the drone's propellers, according to DOCOMO. In addition, the display's weight tended to drag down the aircraft. The telecom company solved these issues by using a mostly hollow display, which allows for better airflow and is lightweight.
The spherical frame surrounding the drone has a maximum diameter of about 35 inches (88 centimeters), and the display measures 144 pixels high by 136 pixels wide. The entire device, drone and display, weighs just 7.5 pounds (3.4 kilograms). Since it's relatively small and light, the drone display is highly maneuverable and, according to DOCOMO, could be operated virtually anywhere.
A mysterious new video has emerged which conspiracy theorists believe may show a UFO in the sky over France.
An unusual cigar-shaped object, which radiates beams of light, was spotted near Paris, and experts believe it resembles objects previously seen over China and Australia.
It is unclear what the object is, and the uploader has admitted that it could be a 'full blown hoax.'

SIGHTINGS IN CHINA AND AUSTRALIA
In a follow-up video, Secureteam10 drew comparisons between the sighting over Paris and previous sightings in China and Australia.
In 2010, a similar cigar-shaped object was spotted in the sky over an airport in China that caused the airport to shut down.
A news report by ABC news claimed that the strange sighting caused the Xiaoshan Airport to 'stop operations' on July 7, 2010.
Tyler Glockner, who runs the site, also referred back to a previous UFO sighting over the Gold Coast of Australia in early 2014.
He said: 'Again we see what looks like a very similar UFO, hovering over the beach, in an eerie display, that truly makes the hairs on my neck stand up.'
The footage was posted on YouTube by Secureteam10, a well-known conspiracy channel that regularly posts supposed UFO sightings.
In the video, Tyler Glockner, who runs Secureteam10 explains that the footage was sent to him in an email, and that the sender did not have much information on it, other than the fact that it was recorded near Paris within the last week.
Mr Glockner said: 'I've done a bit of digging since I received it, and haven't been able to find a copy of the original video.
'So I don't know, it could be a full blown hoax.'
Nigel Watson, author of the UFO Investigations Manual, told MailOnline: 'It is always a danger sign when a video or picture of a UFO is from an anonymous source with little supporting information or eyewitness testimony.
'In this case it is a video from "France", which isn't very helpful.'

LINKS BETWEEN CONSPIRACY, NARCISSISM AND SELF-ESTEEM
Over the course of three online-based studies, researchers at the University of Kent showed strong links between the belief in conspiracy theories and these psychological traits.
The results showed that those people who rated highly on the narcissism scale and who had low self-esteem were more likely to be conspiracy believers.
However, while low self-esteem, narcissism and belief in conspiracies are strongly linked, it is not clear that one - or a combination - causes the other.
But it hints at an interesting new angle to the world of conspiracy and those who reinforce belief.
Mr Glockner said: 'This looks like the exact same UFO.'
'It's undeniable that this is either the exact same craft, or something similar to it.'
Mr Glockner also referred back to a previous UFO sighting over the Gold Coast of Australia in early 2014.
He said: 'Again we see what looks like a very similar UFO, hovering over the beach, in an eerie display, that truly makes the hairs on my neck stand up.'
While it is unclear what the objects are, Mr Glockner is optimistic that we will soon find out.
He added: 'At least with these two other UFO sightings we are corroborating the Paris sighting much more.

'I am definitely starting to lean towards us truly having a bonafide, smoking-gun UFO sighting here.'
But Mr Watson is not so convinced.
He added: 'Secureteam 10 link it to a 2010 UFO story from China, that is one big leap of the imagination for most of us but is very easy for the UFO obsessed Secureteam who have a loose grip on reality.
'To me, the French images look like they were filmed through a window and are reflecting lights inside the room; as they are just lights it is hard to say without further evidence.
'As for the Chinese UFO of 2010, this has a few mundane explanations, some say it was a private aircraft or the launch of a DF-21 missile fired at the Gobi desert.'

A NASA spacecraft has captured a recording of eerie sounds from a strange ‘void’ between Saturn and its rings.
What’s surprised the scientists is how quiet it is – with the spacecraft detecting barely any dust as it travelled through the gap between Saturn and its rings.
Scientists used the craft’s sensors to measure dust in the area – then converted the data of dust particles hitting the sensors into a crackling, whooshing sound.
‘It was a bit disorienting – we weren’t hearing what we expected to hear,’ said William Kurth, leader of the RPWS team at the University of Iowa, Iowa City.
‘I’ve listened to our data from the first dive several times and I can probably count on my hands the number of dust particle impacts I hear.’
Cassini came within about 1,900 miles of Saturn’s cloud tops (where the air pressure is 1 bar – comparable to the atmospheric pressure of Earth at sea level) and within about 200 miles of the innermost visible edge of the rings.
The gap between the rings and the top of Saturn’s atmosphere is about 1,500 miles wide – and the spaceship zipped through at 77,000mph relative to the planet.
While mission managers were confident Cassini would pass through the gap successfully, they took extra precautions with this first dive, as the region had never been explored.
‘No spacecraft has ever been this close to Saturn before. We could only rely on predictions, based on our experience with Saturn’s other rings, of what we thought this gap between the rings and Saturn would be like,’ said Cassini Project Manager Earl Maize of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.

MIT researchers have designed a system that can 3-D print the basic structure of an entire building. The system consists of a tracked vehicle that carries a large industrial robotic arm, which has a smaller, precision-motion robotic arm at its end. A new robot designed by a research affiliate at MIT can digitally construct buildings out of local materials ranging from ice to dirt to moon dust.
Why it matters: The Digital Construction Platform (DCP) is revolutionizing construction by proving that new technology can source local energy and materials to autonomously manufacture buildings — all while adapting to local conditions. This is particularly helpful in disaster relief situations and hazardous environments.
How it works: DCP is basically a giant, solar-powered, four-ton robotic arm (that you'd typically see on an assembly line) that sits atop tank tracks. It zips around collecting data about its surroundings, like radiation levels and topography, using the sensors in its technology. The arm has a nozzle that can mix various local, viscous materials and spray them to create structures.µ
The timing: Because of the DCP's solar panels, it can operate for eight hours after one charge. It can be powered up and ready to go in just minutes.
The results: The DCP constructed a 50-foot wide dome from stock-insulating foam spray in 13.5 hours.
Who it could replace: This robot could change architects' jobs by replacing contractors who would typically do things like wiring or HVAC before the building construction could begin.
One fun thing: Steven Keating, the DCP's creator, wrote that the technology would aid in "autonomous construction systems" for use in "extraterrestrial exploration," like building things from ice on Mars. "We've shown how we could do [it]," Keating told Fast Company. "And NASA is very excited to use ice for printing on Mars because ice absorbs a lot of cosmic radiation."
Why Real Scientists Think Aliens Would Never Eat Humans
A new book posits that alien encounters would be far more benign than they appear in the movies; Arrival, above, is more realistic than mostCourtesy Paramount Pictures and Hybride Technologies
When the Martians first land on Earth in the 1996 sci-fi comedy Mars Attacks!, for a moment it appears all will be fine. "We come in peace," says their leader, as the music swells and a dove soars overhead. Seconds later the Martian pulls out a laser gun and opens fire on a crowd of human onlookers. Yet another blockbuster alien invasion has begun.
That's Hollywood, of course. But the melodrama underscores one of humanity's most widely held fears: that if and when we do encounter extraterrestrial beings, they will wreak all kinds of havoc, much as they do in the movies.
Or will they? For his new book, Aliens: The World's Leading Scientists on the Search for Extraterrestrial Life, quantum physicist Jim Al-Khalili asked a series of experts to explore how humans might actually make contact with aliens. The possibility is not as far-fetched as it once seemed: since NASA launched its Kepler mission in 2009, researchers have discovered thousands of new planets and "revolutionized our concept of how many habitable worlds could exist," writes astrobiologist Nathalie Cabrol in one of the book's essays.
But while Hollywood suggests we should expect to battle their inhabitants, science tells a different story. Here, five popular alien myths that Aliens debunks.
MYTH NO. 1: Aliens would eat us
Movies like The Blob and Critters imagine aliens harvesting humans for food, an unpleasant prospect. But it doesn't track with the science of nutrition, writes astrobiologist Lewis Dartnell. In order for aliens to get nourishment from eating us, their bodies would have to be capable of processing our molecules (like amino acids and sugars). And that requires having a similar biochemistry--a long shot for a species that hails from a different world.
MYTH NO. 2: Aliens would breed with us
Both of this summer's extraterrestrial blockbusters, Alien: Covenant and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, involve human-alien hybrids. But given that we can't even reproduce with our nearest evolutionary relative, the chimpanzee, it's "overwhelmingly improbable" we could do so with aliens, according to Dartnell.
MYTH NO. 3: Aliens would look like us
Human evolution depended on so many unique and unpredictable factors, it's near impossible that an extraterrestrial species would have human-like features, like the aliens in The Day the Earth Stood Still and Star Trek. It's far likelier, writes neuroscientist Anil Seth, that they'd be as different as the octopus, "our very own terrestrial alien," which has a high level of intelligence, a decentralized nervous system and an alternative style of consciousness.
MYTH NO. 4: Aliens would be "living" creatures
Even restrained films like Arrival get this one wrong, according to some scientists. Should aliens contact us, cosmologist Martin Rees believes we will hear not from fellow organic creatures, but from the robots they produced, who can, in theory, live forever.
MYTH NO. 5: Aliens would steal our water and metal
The aliens in Independence Day famously arrive to strip Earth of its resources. But again, that logic doesn't add up, writes Dartnell. Most of our metal is in the Earth's core, not its crust; asteroids would be far better targets for mining. And icy moons, like Jupiter's Europa, would be easier places to stock up on water. They're uninhabited, and they don't have Earth's strong gravitational pull.
So if aliens aren't interested in harvesting our lands or our bodies, why would they make co ntact? Dartnell suspects a purer motive: curiosity. "If aliens did come to Earth," he writes, it would probably be "as researchers: biologists, anthropologists, linguists, keen to understand the peculiar workings of life on Earth, to meet humanity and learn of our art, music, culture, languages, philosophies and religions."
Jody Pendarvis at his recently burglarized UFO Welcome Center. He suspects aliens aren't the ones whole stole his flatscreen Tv
BOWMAN -- For over two decades, the UFO Welcome Center hasn’t been burglarized. All of that changed recently and an unidentified earthling may be to blame.
On April 22, someone stole a 32-inch TV from the UFO Welcome Center.
Then on April 29, someone attempted to take a compact window air conditioning unit from the home of Jody Pendarvis, who owns the center. His home is only a few feet from the welcome center, which is located at 4004 Homestead Road.
Pendarvis built the UFO Welcome Center 23 years ago and hasn’t had any problems from earthlings or extraterrestrials.
He has good reason to believe an earthling is responsible for the burglary of the TV: the thief didn’t enter the welcome center from the top, he said.
The entrance into the welcome center is through a ramp door, which Pendarvis designed with two pulley cables on each side. An electric motor powers the ramp door to open and close.
Pendarvis said that someone tampered with the ramp door when it was up, then crawled into the welcome center and stole his 32-inch Emerson flatscreen TV.
Pendarvis reported the theft and attempted theft to the Bowman Police Department
Both of the cases remain active.
The first time Pendarvis saw a UFO was in May 1999 in Orangeburg, he said.
He’d constructed the UFO Welcome Center just five years prior.
“I didn’t believe in UFOs until 1999,” he said.
“I said, 'Oh no, they do exist!' " Pendarvis said of his sighting.
As for whether E.T.’s, space creatures or any unidentified flying objects are visiting the welcome center ... well, Pendarvis said that’s top secret information.
Pendarvis says next time he’s gone, “Maybe I’ll have E.T. watch the place.”

A long camera exposure captures guests staring at twinkling stars and a giant laser beam pointing to Europa, Jupiter's moon.
Emcee Tom O'Key seemed giddy as dozens of guests filed into an outdoor theatre in this Mojave Desert town on a recent Saturday night to learn about an icy moon of Jupiter and take a stab at connecting with whatever - or whomever - may be living there.
"We're sending selfies to Europa here tonight, folks," O'Key told those who had gathered in the Joshua Tree Astronomy Arts Theater. "Take a moment to reach out to the cosmos and say, 'We here on Earth care.'"
Sponsored by the Southern California Desert Video Astronomers, the public program featured a documentary, 3-D holographic projections, views through telescopes and what was believed to be the first opportunity to send video selfies to a moon of Jupiter that NASA scientists have identified as one of the likeliest homes of extraterrestrial life in our solar system.
Gina Ferazzi/Los Angeles Times
Zerrin Leckey, 9, sends a selfie message to Europa using a device designed to convert audio and visual images into flashes of laser light aimed at the moon.
Zerrin Leckey, 9, was among the first to take a few deep breaths, smile, then speak into the lens of a video camera connected to a device that converts audio and visual images into flashes of laser aimed at the moon - only 37 minutes away at light speed.
"Hi, Europa!" he said. "This is Zerrin on Earth. I'm turning 10."
Next up was Jean Mueller, 67, a retired telescope operator at the Palomar Observatory who has discovered more than 30 comets.
"I photographed everything in the sky except you, Europa," she said. "Now, I'm talking to you in person, and that's pretty nice."
Gina Ferazzi/Los Angeles Times
Guests line up near the ticket booth to enter the outdoor Astronomy Arts Theater for "Europa is Alive!"
The casual tone of these pioneering attempts at intergalactic communication was fine with O'Key, who didn't hesitate to note the limits of the technology in the astronomy club's "Europa is Alive!" event or "the giggle factor involved in all this."
It was O'Key, 63, a retired technical consultant in personal injury litigation cases, and Leonard Holmberg, 62, a retired developer of optics-based products, who put together the selfie-sender: "An instrument comprised of a video camera, a laptop computer, fiber-optics technology and a yellow laser that cost us about $400," O'Key said.
"We like to think we're bringing extraterrestrial adventure to everyday people," he said.
Gina Ferazzi/Los Angeles Times
Scientists have been searching the skies for signs of alien civilisations for decades, mostly based on the premise that they, like us, would use bursts of radio and laser light.
"Of course, we'd need the power of the sun to generate a coherent beam strong enough to hit Europa," Holmberg said. "But at least some of the photons in the transmissions we're sending are reaching their target. No doubt about it."
The project, Holmberg said, suggests how far technology has advanced since charismatic physicist Carl Sagan popularized the possibility of making contact with extraterrestrial life.
Sagan led a team that developed communications materials that were aboard the Voyager 1 and 2 space probes launched in 1977 to make drive-by visits to planets in this solar system and then continue on to explore space. The packages included images of a nude man and woman and musical samplings, including Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode."
O'Key and Holmberg consider themselves "Saganites," inspired by NASA's recent announcement that Europa and Saturn's moon, Enceladus, harbor all the ingredients needed for life to evolve: heat, organic material and vast oceans of water capped by ice.
"What they're doing is fine with me," said Seth Shostak, senior astronomer at the nonprofit Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence Institute based in Mountain View, Calif. "But it's fair to say we don't know if aliens are friendly, or if they even exist. If they do, will they be cute and cuddly like the one in the movie 'E.T.,' or will they be like the Kardashians?
"In that case," he continued, "we should keep a low profile. You don't want your tombstone to read: I'm responsible for the obliteration of the human race."
Scientists have been searching the skies for signs of alien civilisations for decades, mostly based on the premise that they, like us, would use bursts of radio and laser light we might be able to hear or see.
The SETI Institute runs an array of radio telescopes designed to act as an enormous ear capable of scanning more than a million stars over 10 billion radio frequencies. It still has not detected any signal produced by someone else out there.
The Mars lander Phoenix, launched in 2007, carried recorded greetings. A year later, NASA beamed the Beatles' "Across the Universe" at the North Star, Polaris.

UFO experts spot 'huge spaceship' in the sky with flashing lights above France, China and Australia
Bright lights and a flying "cigar shaped" object captured in the footage have led to theories it could be a UFO
UFO experts believe glowing objects spotted in the sky above France, China and Australia could be a huge spaceship.
Footage recorded in France, possibly near Paris, shows bright lights in the sky and a "cigar shaped" flashing object.
Tyler, speaking on Secureteam10 , a channel reporting sightings and unusual activity in space, claims these "mind[blowing" lights are UFOs.
In the intriguing footage, he said a very similar UFO had been spotted years before.
Unexplained bright lights have been detected above France, China and Australia(Photo: Secureteam10)
A reported UFO sighting back in 2010 over an airport in China, prompted it to temporarily shut down.
A previous ABC news report claimed the strange sighting caused the Xiaoshan Airport to "stop operations" on July 7 that year.
The news report says that outbound flights were grounded after an " unidentified flying object " was detected.
There have been claims of UFOs spotted above France, China and Australia(Photo: Secureteam10)
The incident captured the attention of Chinese media at the time, and people shared photos of flying objects emitting rays of red and white lights.
But what the object was remained a mystery.
Tyler compares high resolution photos to show the similarities between the latest so-called UFO sighting in France with the sightings seven years ago in China.
He also claims a similar UFO sighting was captured over the Gold Coast, Australia.
He said: "I found an old shipwreck off Mexico… this one is huge!
"Its 138 meters across according to Google Ruler. The detail is outstanding.
"Oh, and by the way, it is a treasure - 138 metres of iron is roughly $10 million plus recycled.
"Let alone the other artefacts it must still have on it.
"It's not a freighter because it's thin along its ends, more like an old battle ship. I researched old sunken ships in the area there, but couldn't find any that match."

Mr waring says he found another smaller ship and a fishing boat.
GOOGLE*UFOSD
It is not the first time Mr Waring has alleged to find mystery objects on Google Earth.
Well today I stumbled upon something thats not a UFO, but is still absolutely amazing due to its size.
Scott C Waring
Mr Waring said he found a second smaller ship of about 61 meters across that he estimated had a wooden hull, to the north west of the larger one.
He said: "It's on the same island as the first ship, but is on opposite side."
And to the south west of the larger one, he believes to have found the remains of a 12-metre long fishing boat.
So has Mr Waring found some undiscovered shipwrecks on Google Earth?
Sceptics would argue it could just be the effects of pareidolia, when the brain tricks the eyes into seeing familiar objects or shapes such as faces or animals in textures or patterns like clouds or rock surfaces.
