As might be expected, pilots are reporting seeing a lot more drones these days but the lather that sightings seem to create might be overblown, according to an analysis by the Academy of Model Aeronautics. AMA looked closely at each of the 1,270 sightings reported by pilots of manned aircraft in data released by the FAA in February that showed that 44 of those encounters could be described as close calls. That’s about 3.4 percent and the same as the results of similar analyses done by AMA in 2015 and 2016. “Back in the 70s and 80s, everything pilots saw was a UFO. Now everything they see is a drone,” AMA President Richard Hanson told Popular Science. “Drones are the new UFOs.”
Hanson told PopSci it’s possible pilots have now lumped everything they see in the air, from dry cleaning bags to kites and weather balloons, as drones. They’re also reporting perfectly legal drone operations. Some of the reports included sightings of drones being flown at well below the 400-foot ceiling. Despite all the hype, the notes that come with new drones about rules and drone registration and numerous programs promoting safe operation of the aircraft, Hanson told PopSci he thinks there’s more education to be done. “The vast number of sightings that are people operating inappropriately is because they just don’t know any better, they didn’t know they weren’t supposed to do what they were doing,” he said. “There are a few individuals who are irresponsible but you find that in any community of people.”
Comments (1)
Guess this might be what I would you expect to hear from someone in the model airplane community who isn't thinking critically. Seems Mr. Hanson thinks the best defense is a good offense. I would suggest Mr. Hanson do some serious flying with someone at his local airport, especially in some urban area and explain to the pilot how a 2 or 3 lb "rock" flying towards the windshield is not an issue. A small bird is an issue when it hits a light aircraft...a "drone" is a deadly projectile and not to be taken lightly.
It is happening much more often than he implies. I would suggest that the "vast number" of sightings that we pilots are seeing are not UFO's and in reality more often an RC model than not. What a stupid premise to suggest. What some in the modeling community fail (or just refuse) to recognize is that the "vast" majority of these aircraft are being operated by people without the requisite knowledge to operate in the National Airspace and all that comes with that...and I would suggest that it is quite a bit more than a few bad apples...many people just understand what they are dealing with when they launch one of these things from their back yard.
I grew up as a modeler myself, but learned quite a bit at the local flying field before flying my own airplane...granted, the deal was quite different many years ago in the RC world with limited radio frequencies and such which served to naturally restrict the flying to a small area with line of sight for the most part. Now, you can go down to the local hobby shop and buy an aircraft and in minutes launch it into harm's way using GPS and not even having to fly it...just send wherever it suits your fancy. Mr. Hanson does no one any favors by diminishing the issue by trying to pawn off the problem on pilots reporting flying plastic bags as drones. Please.
Observations of the exoplanet HAT-P-26b have expanded our knowledge of how universes are formed. New satellites set to launch in October will give us even more information
WHAT ASTRONOMERS FOUND ON HAT-P-26B
Scientists at the University of Exeter have discovered peculiar aspects of the Neptune-sized exoplanet HAT-P-26b using NASA’s Hubble and Spitzer Space Telescopes. Their findings contribute to our knowledge of the diversity of planets as well as how they are formed.
As the planet — which is around 437 light-years from earth — passed in front of its sun, allowing the telescopes to measure it, scientists discovered an atmosphere rich in helium, hydrogen, and water vapor. Hannah Wakeford, co-leader of the new study and postdoctoral researcher at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), said that this atmosphere would result in “a very alien sky […] a kind of scattery, washed-out, gray sky.”
The planet is also of interest because of its formation. In Earth’s Solar System, metallicity (astronomy terminology for anything heavier than helium) tends to decrease as mass increases, but HAT-P-26b defies this pattern. While it is about the size of Neptune, its metallicity is more inline with Jupiter.
The atmosphere of the Neptune-mass exoplanet HAT-P-26b is unexpectedly primitive, composed primarily of hydrogen and helium. By combining observations from Hubble and Spitzer space telescopes, Wakeford et al determined that, unlike Neptune and Uranus, the exoplanet has relatively low metallicity. Image credit: NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center.
So, why does this matter?
David Sing, a professor at the University of Exeter said, “this new discovery about its atmosphere feels like a big breakthrough in our pursuit to learn more about how solar systems are formed, and how it compares to our own” because “This exciting new discovery shows that there is a lot more diversity in the atmospheres of these exoplanets than we have previously thought.” And, while thousands of exoplanets have been discovered, we know relatively little about the compositions of their atmospheres.
This is the first in what promises to be a series of breakthroughs that will emerge as new telescopes launch this upcoming October. The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) will allow us to explore further with a mirror that has a diameter of 6.5 meters in comparison to the Hubble-Telescope’s 2.4 meter. In addition to this, the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) will provide “detailed characterizations of planets and their atmospheres”and is expected to survey more than 200,000 planets during its 2 year mission.
HOUSTON -When people see something odd in the sky, we in TV, often hear about it first. But many times what an observer thinks is a UFO, is actually be something else. In this blog I offer a cheat sheet based on my experiences in meteorology, of 11 things to consider before making a report and also some fun facts about our universe that could ... validate ... the existence of UFOs.You decide!
Whether a person calls their local TV station, the police or a friend, there's nothing better than a little acknowledgment of a weird experience! There's also MUFON, the Mutual UFO Network, a venerable, science-based organization that's been debunking UFO sightings since the late 60s. While they can explain most experiences as of Earth-origin, many sightings remain unexplained -- and that's where it gets interesting.
Culture has taught us to think, "crazy person!" when the subject of 'unidentified aerial phenomena' or 'flying objects' is breached. Sure there are plenty of hoaxes and confused people out there, but with the occasional story like, "The Phoenix Lights", as recently told from our sister station in Arizona, you'll see why many highly respected people raise an eyebrow.
So are we alone? Your guess is as good as mine, but cosmologists (who study the universe as a whole), astronomers (who can speak of features in the universe), astronomical biologists (people who study the potential for extraterrestrial life), nuclear and theoretical physicists (who use their knowledge of time, space and multi-verse dimensions to speculate) and some philosophers, will tell you the same thing: out of the 2 trillion galaxies in our universe,we are not alone.
The scale of our existence is immense. At light speed it would take 100 millennia just to cross our own galaxy -- and there are 2 trillion of these things. (That's 2,000-million!) Our calendar only goes back 2 millennia. That means over the span of the last 2,017 years, at light speed, we'd have only traveled about 2% across the Milky Way. Physicists today believe travel that fast is impossible due to various atomic forces which hold matter -- you and me -- physically together, so in reality, we'd have traveled far less than that. Considering the scale, to say we are the only example of life in this realm is probably an opinion born from not considering this bigger picture. (Some would more curtly say it's downright arrogant to think we're alone.)
But, even if life does exist, "out there", have they visited Earth? Because space is so expansive, many life forms would likely not remain alive long enough to exit their own galaxy, much less visit ours. Of course, intelligent life may exist within our own Milky Way, but even a relatively, "close" planetary system outside of our own could still take hundreds or thousands of years to get to at light speed.
Enter the world of theoretical physics who speculate that special propulsion systems could help cross those distances -- systems which may not simply travel from point A to point B, but instead, "skip" between the two places instantaneously, as if to cross a dimensional plain and cheat the physical limits of time and space. We are only just now beginning to understand quantum physics, which could hold the key. Considering just 120 years ago, the only way down the road was on horse and buggy, and today we can rocket off to Mars, imagine the technological achievements of species 100 years from now, or 1,000! Some say ET's may have doubled even that number in their technological advancement, easily achieving interstellar travel. Cool.
So let's say for a minute that they're real -- and they're here. It's important to know the difference between a Earth object and ... well ... something else. Here's 11 things to look out for.
Airplanes with their landing lights on, approaching a nearby airport and/or lining up to the runway, doing a series of maneuvers are commonly mistaken for, "orbs" (alien craft believed to be energy-based, which can through dimensions.)
Airplanes at a distance during takeoff or landing, conducting broad turns can glint sunlight off the top of their wings and to the ground-based observer it can look like a short or long-duration sun glint.
Airplanes conducting military activity -- flying in formation at high altitude, etc.
Airplanes of military origin we're not accustomed to seeing, like the B-2 Stealth Bomber, which could easy be confused for a, "black triangle." (That's a genre of UFO occurring time and time again in various UFO sightings, although many are as a big as a football field and fly low, slow and silently, ruling out military activity.)
Airplanes creating exhaust trails, especially at twilight and dusk.
Bird ... or birds. You'd laugh at how many videos of birds I've seen, when the user screen-grabs a single frame, then zooms in, contorting the pixels and making it look like something entirely different.
Drones. As quadcopters, have gained in popularity, many times they look like UFO -- especially if illuminated at night. These things can flash, spin, strobe, etc. From a distance, it might be tough to tell.
Clouds. Many times in Texas after a big thunderstorm, strange clouds can form which resemble UFOs. Essentially high speed winds can shape low-level clouds into perfect tear-drops, disks and circles, resembling what we have been groomed culturally, to be an alien space craft.
Chinese lanterns. Many celebrations these days feature the release of light-weight paper lanterns, powered by a candle. They ascend slowly and often in large quantities -- and from afar can resemble a swarm of flickering ... UFOs.
Satellites. There are 2,271 human-launched satellites orbiting our planet as of today. Many times on a clear night, it's possible to see a half dozen pass by in just 30 minutes. While these objects are in space, an untrained eye may not realize the white, star-like appearance and fast movement across the sky (at an apparent rate about the same as a jet at cruising altitude) is not a UFO, but instead a man-made space craft.
Lens flare. Often when a photo is taken with a bright object in its sights, whether it's the sun, the moon or flood lights at night, lens flare can often resemble an, "illuminated disk." Rest assured, it's only light refracting around the lens and/or it's UV filter, if it's an SLR cam.
Typically sighting experiences happen too fast for an observer to reach for a good means to record it. Usually we only have our cell phones -- and that's a vast improvement from where we were just a decade ago when it was a luxury item to have a camera on your phone. But cell phone cams pose a problem because their wide angle lenses make for terrible UFO photography. In fact, out of the 80,000 or so cataloged UFO sightings taken by MUFON since 1969, there is not one piece of photographic evidence that absolutely proves their existence, much less from any mobile device. There's countless testimony and fuzzy, horribly unclear photos and shaky video. There's tons of computer renderings recreating what an experiencer saw, and then there's the outright fakes. There are claims (by very notable people) that, "the Government" took their solid evidence away (which I can't confirm or deny!) -- but there is zero scientifically admissible, undeniable evidence in existence today that the mainstream can hold in their hand and declare as, "reality." Perhaps the reason is because what most see fall within those 11 items I mentioned above, or perhaps we've all been groomed to think of anything related to ET's as taboo, and even if it was placed in our lap we'd assume it was fake.
If you can produce tangible evidence, you'll not only win the Nobel Prize, but probably unite humanity. In the mean time, hopefully my list can help you determine what you really saw!
Keep those reports coming! If you see anything, I'm all ears. I want to know just like you!

INTRO : Extraterrestrial Terror of 'Alien'
Since the first slimy Xenomorph burst from the chest of Officer Kane in the 1979 original "Alien" movie, several other versions of the extraterrestrial monster have terrorized space travelers in the nearly 40-year-old sci-fi saga. From chestbursters to facehuggers, here are the creepiest creatures from the "Alien" movies. [The Best Scary Movies That Take Place in Space]

1. Neomorph
The latest addition to the Xenomorph family makes its debut in "Alien: Covenant" (in theaters May 19). Director Ridley Scott envisioned the Neomorph as a combination of the original Xenomorph and the prehistoric-looking goblin shark found on Earth.

2. Queen
She's big, she's scary, and she lays evil eggs: Meet the queen of the Xenomorphs. Much like the queen of a beehive, this queen is larger and stronger than the other aliens in its family. The first queen of the "Alien" saga appeared in the 1986 movie "Aliens," and were later featured "Alien: Resurrection" and "Alien vs. Predator."

3. Chestburster
The next phase of a Xenomorph's life cycle has another self-explanatory name. After a Facehugger implants an embryo, this little alien violently erupts from the host's body. Chestbursters are responsible for some of the most bloody and gut-wrenching scenes of the "Alien" movies.

4. Facehugger
As the name implies, this Xenomorph will hug your face—but not as a display of affection. This long-tailed, crustaceous alien shoves a slimy appendage down its victim's throat to impregnate them with an alien embryo. It then detaches from the new host and dies shortly afterward. But it certainly doesn't end there…

5. Ovomorphs
The Xenomorph egg, or Ovomorph, is the earliest stage in the lifecycle of the various monsters in the "Alien" saga. Queens can lay the eggs, but other Xenomorphs can also create them via a process called "eggmorphing," in which they transform a victim into an egg by trapping them inside a cocoon.

6. Newborn
What happens when you mix a human with a Xenomorph? This horrifying, slimy killing machine, apparently. When scientists attempt to clone Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) in "Alien: Resurrection"—following her shocking extraterrestrial death in "Alien 3"—the clone somehow winds up with an alien embryo in her body. The scientists then extract that embryo, which grows up to be a Xenomorph Queen. That alien then gives birth to this ghastly human-alien hybrid.

7. Runner
Otherwise known as "Dog Aliens" or "Bambi Bursters," this type of Xenomorph spawns when a Facehugger takes a four-legged animal as its host. Runners made their first appearance in the 1992 film "Alien 3," when an alien emerges from the crew's canine companion, Spike.

8. Deacon
Named after a bishop's hat, this pointy-headed and terrifyingly toothy alien appears in the prequel film "Prometheus" when a Trilobite impregnates an Engineer—an intelligent, human-like extraterrestrial the crew encounters on the moon LV-223. The trilobite was an octopus-like Facehugger that Elizabeth Shaw ripped from her own body.
Credit: Twentieth Century Fox
9. Predalien
This Predator-Xenomorph hybrid appears in the "Alien vs. Predator" movies and is the result of a Facehugger impregnating a Predator. Also called a Proto-Xenomorph, it looks a lot like the other aliens in the saga, but sports what looks like a long, tentacled hair. These things are bigger, stronger and arguably scarier than human-born aliens.
Many Vietnam war veterans have come forward since the fierce fighting officially ended in 1975, including high ranking military officials, claiming to have spotted UFOs of alien origine.
The most reputable claimer is Captain George Filer III, who worked for the US secret service in Vietnam, who says he saw the UFOs interacting with the US’s jets.
He claimed: “One of our planes flew at about 500 knots, and suddenly a UFO appeared and circled the aircraft several times before it flew off at three times the speed of our Air Force jets.
“It is a technology that is far superior to ours.”
Captain George Filer III: "Suddenly a UFO appeared"
Since his retirement from the military and with his experience in UFO sightings, Captain Filer dedicated his life to extraterrestrial activity, running the website National UFO Center.
But Captain Filer is not the only person to have seen UFOs that are not of this Earth during the ill-fated Vietnam war.
Pete Mazzola, who served in the Vietnam war from 1965 to the end of the decade said before his death in 1987 that he saw UFOs during the conflict.
GETTY
There are many reported sightings of aliens during the Vietnam war
He said: “There were several times, while on patrol in the jungle, that I had time to look up at the stars.
“I saw more than a few unusual ‘shooting stars’ that manoeuvred in a way no meteor could.”
In one incident, Mazzola and his squad saw a UFO hovering over paddy fields and palm trees where they were pinned down.
GETTY
“It is a technology that is far superior to ours.”
He said: “I couldn’t believe what I saw. The other guys saw it too but afterwards were too shocked to talk much about it except to say, ‘What the hell was that?’”
Another witness, General George S. Brown, says the alleged UFOs caused confusion among allies.
Gen. Brown said: "I do not know if this story was ever told. They were not called Ufos. They were labelled as enemy helicopters.
“They were seen at night and in certain places. Once they were observed in early summer '68. It triggered a small battle.
“We never found an enemy, we only found ourselves. But someone had fired a shot there. It was always the same. We could not identify an enemy, and yet we reacted.

Alien Implants: Proof of Physical Contact?
Alien Implants: Proof of Physical Contact?
JP Robinson
For more detailed information on the ET/UFO reality, readThe Alien Enigmaby JP Robinson.
Proof of physical contact with extraterrestrial beings has always been difficult to authenticate due to the mysterious and elusive nature of alien abduction experiences. But many 'experiencers' have reported discovering foreign objects or implants lodged beneath their skin in various parts of their body, following a contact.
Could these bizarre objects prove once and for all that something out of this world is visiting and physically affecting human abductees?
Dr. Roger K. Leir, author of The Aliens and the Scalpel and Casebook Alien Implants has spent many years researching physical evidence for proof of the reality of alien abduction. He and his surgical team have performed numerous surgeries on patients claiming to have been abducted by aliens, with the sole intent of recovering implants left in various parts of their anatomy and presenting them for biological and metallurgical research.
The retrieved objects have been scientifically investigated by many prestigious laboratories including Los Alamos National Laboratory, New Mexico Tech, the University of Toronto, Southwest Labs, Seal Laboratories, York University and the University of California at San Diego. The results have been astounding.
On removal of the implants which he described as small metallic rods with strange grey biological membrane surrounding them, initial metallurgic tests drew comparisons with meteorite samples. The laboratories are never informed beforehand of the origin of the objects as this would only compromise and devalue the investigation. One such sample which was extracted from the back of a subject’s wrist bone was described as ‘seed-like’ in appearance as it was only five by two millimetres in size. Dr. Leir commented that “this piece has similar metallurgy as to the earlier specimens and contains high amounts of iron and nickel and has isotopic ratios that are not of this Earth.”
Patient John Smith asked Leir to remove a foreign object from his big toe following an abduction experience. Before the operation took place, other signs of physical evidence were discovered in Smith’s backyard and master bedroom. Recounting that the alien’s craft was seen hovering in the backyard above a patch of turf, soil samples were sent off to be analysed and the results concluded that there was a strange high bromine content present.
Two small four-fingered handprints were visualised under UV light on the interior of the master bedroom wall at the same area as a magnetic anomaly below the window. A biotechnologist has taken DNA from the handprints and the tests are ongoing.
Minor elements found in the toe sample were rare on Earth and never found in the human body. The scientific analysis revealed the presence of ruthenium, iridium, palladium, rhodium, osmium, hafnium, yttrium, rhenium, niobium, cerium, neodymium, samarium, gadolinium, dysprosium, praseodymium, europium, rubidium, thorium and uranium.
The conclusion of the analysis confirmed the object to be non-terrestrial in origin as some of the elements show non-terrestrial isotopic ratios. The iron in the sample appeared to be meteoric in origin. There were also numerous inclusions in the metal portion of the object such as biological tissue growing out of the metal and surrounding it, sodium chloride orthorhombic nano-crystals of varying size plus carbon nano-structures like nano-fibres and nano-tubes. Leir explained that carbon nano-tubes can be used in a medical capacity by injecting them into the body where they eat up cholesterol.
By comparing the isotopic ratios found in the implant to known isotopic ratios of elements in our solar system, Leir discovered that they were not the same. Sub-atomic structures in the implants are also non-terrestrial. With the origin of the material still unknown, Leir concluded that the results clearly indicated that the material is not from this planet and perhaps not even from our solar system.[i]
Leir said, “We have to draw certain conclusions that these are being manufactured by some kind of intelligence, which is certainly not within the realm of our academic science.”[ii]
Discussing the purpose of the bizarre objects Leir speculated, “I think that these are genetic monitoring devices and I believe that there is a signal that is both going in and out. I also believe that the human race is now, and has been undergoing for some years, a genetic manipulation.”
The fact that people are waking up in the morning with these unusual items implanted deep under the skin is cause for concern. Leir’s research, although still in its early stages, is extremely revealing and suggestive of something greater than our understanding coming into contact with our species and physically affecting it.
The question of whether or not extraterrestrial beings are responsible for implanting the metallic devices remains inconclusive, but something physical is definitely occurring, even though it remains unclear where the responsibility lies.
[i] The X-Conference 2009, Gaithersburg, MD, April 17 – presentation on case file # SC001-09-08
Mysterious or otherwise unexplained explosion noises and booms have been reported throughout the United States in 2017. Is secretive military testing to blame? Or could anomalous geological activity be the cause of these unidentified noises? Loud booms have been reported since long before the advent of air travel, after all. Whatever these mystery booms might be, they sure seem to be on the rise. The latest case of unexplained loud noises comes from the rural community of Sharps Chapel, Tennessee, where residents are reporting a spate of mysterious explosion noises that seem to have no identifiable cause.
Sharps Chapel is heavily forested and largely undeveloped.
The noises all seem to emanate from Island F, an island in Norris Lake not far from Rocky Top, Tennessee. The island is small, just a few miles across, and is uninhabited. Hunting and target shooting is popular in the area, but residents report that these noises sound different. Sharps Chapel community watch captain Tom McCaffery says the sound is unlike the usual gunfire heard throughout the rural area:
I have heard plenty of fireworks over my years, but never anything like this. The closest thing I can think of to the sound is cannon fire.
Local authorities speculate that some citizens are perhaps using homemade explosives for target practice, but have so far been able to find concrete proof. The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), an administrative body which oversees rural areas of Appalachia, has been investigating the noises at the request of local citizens.
No traces of explosions have been on the island.
According to TVA spokesman Jim Hopson, TVA investigators haven’t found any clues that might explain the source of the explosions:
They’ve gone to the island, searched the area and found no physical evidence to indicate any kind of explosion, including disturbed ground cover, holes or unusual debris.
Reports of phantom cannon-like booms along America’s east coast date back to at least the late 19th century when James Fenimore Cooper dubbed them “Seneca Guns.” Strangely, most of these reports occur near water, leading some geologists to suspect that they might be caused by large volumes of gas escaping bodies of water. With hydraulic fracking on the rise throughout the United States, it’s not entirely inconceivable that underground pockets of natural gasses are being disturbed at an unprecedented rate. Of course, there are any number of events both natural and man-made that could be the cause of these booms, sonic booms from military aircraft being the most likely candidate. Still, without an official explanation, the high frequency of these unexplained booms is a bit conspicuous.
UFO cults – and particularly controversial ones – are nothing new. In fact, they are ten-a-penny. Some are far more well known than others. Take, for example, the Heaven’s Gate crowd. Remember them? “Thanks” to their nuttier-than-squirrel-shit leader, Marshall Herff Applewhite, Jr., they came to a sticky and irreversible end in March 1997, after knocking back significant amounts of Phenobarbital and vodka. A word of advice: do what I do and stick to a few cans of Steel Reserve on a Friday and Saturday night. There was also the Cosmic Circle of Fellowship, which was established in the 1950s by the allegedly dimension-hopping William Ferguson. Both Unarius and The Seekers can also be added to the list. In fact, the list is a long and winding one.
One such cult, which has largely been forgotten, is the subject of today’s article. It was in the 1940s that one Francis Herman Penovic – who went by the very different name of Krishna Venta – created what was popularly known as the Fountain of the World. Its official title, however, was WKFL Fountain of the World; the “WKFL” meaning “Wisdom,” “Knowledge,” “Faith,” and “Love.” It was a pretty harmless group (for a while…), albeit one that eventually had its moments of violence and even death.
The Fountain of the World had its base of operations in Simi Valley, California. And it thrived very nicely – which is hardly surprising, given that those who chose to join the cult were required to hand over their entire belongings and life-savings. Members were also made to wear what became the de rigueur WKFL Fountain of the World uniform. Namely, robes and sandals. Or, as I term it, hippy crap. Worse still, male members of the group were told to grow beards. Even more hippy crap, in other words.
The group was very much a benevolent one, working to improve conditions for the homeless who lived on the streets in Simi Valley – usually by offering beds and food at the Fountain of the World headquarters. Without doubt, the most visible example of the WKFL Fountain of the World’s determination to help whenever and wherever it could surfaced on July 12, 1949. That was the date on which a Standard Airlines aircraft slammed into the Simi Hills, killing around three-quarters of all those on-board. The WKFL Fountain of the World were quickly on the scene to try and lend whatever help they could.
Krishna Venta
Like so many cult-leaders, Venta had delusions of grandeur. Just one year before the tragic crash of Flight 897R on the Simi Hills, he proclaimed: “I may as well say it: I am Christ. I am the new messiah.” UFOs even came into the story. Well, of course they did! Venta / Jesus maintained that he had spent time on a planet called Neophrates and had commanded a veritable armada of spacecraft from Neophrates to the Earth. And as is the case with so many cult-leaders, it all ended violently. But, you knew that was coming, right?
On December 10, 1958, two men – Ralph Muller and Peter Duma Kamenoff, both of who were ex-members of the Fountain of the World, and who correctly believed Venta had been banging their wives – planned to go on a suicide-driven bombing mission to kill Venta. Unfortunately, they succeeded. The crazed, irresponsible pair caused chaos, tragedy and death – and on a large scale. The Los Angeles Timesreported one day later:
The Fountain of the World Monastery in a wooded canyon near Chatsworth was ripped apart early yesterday by a heavy explosion which instantly killed the bearded leader of the cult, Krishna Venta, and seven of his followers. Two ex-cultists linked to the blast by bizarre tape recordings in which they vowed ‘to bring Krishna to justice’ were believed to have also died in the explosion. Two children, both girls, ages 8 and 9, and a 59-year old woman were seriously burned. The explosion blew the roof from an adjoining dormitory for children and touched off a brush fire that swept over 150 acres. Fire completed the destruction of the monastery and dormitory.
The end of Krishna Venta
The heyday of the Fountain of the World was abruptly – and fortunately – at an end. After years of languishing in obscurity, it finally closed its doors in 1975. Good riddance to the group – and to beards and sandals, too.

Witness report:
Hovering ligtining object for a few hours lights looks like a plane lights with beaming I was at the front of the house and I was drinking a tea . When I notice the object I start to make photos and movies , I thought it is an airplane but I watch it and it does not move for hours . Because this area close to an airport, it looks like a star but was very close to the buildings and the lights looks different than the star lights , it looks like a car or an airplane lights , and it didn’t move at all only beaming light , I felt so excited as I believe in UFO and I even try the contact them by waving lights from my iphone , but no reaction , I did found it also in the next day at the same spot and the same time . I lost the sight of the object when the sun light getting more stronger.

A secret space program with the name of Solar Warden has been in existence since 1980 but the public has known nothing about it as it has been kept a secret. An investigative researcher looked into the program when making a freedom of information request to the Department of Defense and found out that the program belonged to NASA.
He talked to a representative from NASA who said that Solar Warden did belong to them and it was not a joint program with the DoD and that he should talk with the Johnson Space Center FOIA manager.
GOVERNMENT SLIPPED UP WITH INFORMATION
The Solar Warden program does not just operate classified under the government of the US but also of that of the United Nations. Many people have tried to find the truth about the program but this researcher used information that had been leaked and asked questions, while government departments slipped up in giving information away, in much the same way as when Darren Perks questioned the Department of Defense, while Gary McKinnon contributed.
McKinnon was the guy who hacked into the computers of the US Space Command many years ago and found out that there were such things as non-terrestrial officers along with fleet-to-fleet transfers and the Solar Warden program. He was charged for committing the biggest military computer hack by the Bush Justice Department and was looking at a prison sentence of up to 70 years once extradited from the UK.
Of course, if they tried McKinnon in open court he would testify to the classified facts and his attorney could subpoena officers from the government under oath to talk about the space fleet program they had been keeping quiet about. The extradition of McKinnon, not surprisingly, did not go anywhere.
LARGE CIGAR SHAPED MOTHERSHIPS PART OF SOLAR WARDEN PROGRAM
McKinnon found out that there were craft or ships within Solar Warden and it had been said that there was around eight cigar-shaped motherships, with each of them being longer than putting two football fields end to end, along with 43 scout ships that were smaller.
The Solar Warden Space Fleet was operating under the Space Operations Command and US Naval Network and there was about 300 personnel working at the facility. Solar Warden was said to have US aerospace Black Projects contractors, with contributions from the UK, Canada, Italy, Australia, and Russia. It had also been said that the program was operated and tested from a secret military base much like Area 51.
Whether there is any truth in this remains to be seen, but in the end, no doubt, the truth will eventually come out. Solar Warden does seem to be a possibility that may be real, so it should not be viewed as being yet just another conspiracy. While there is a great deal of hype along with controversy surrounding all the information and facts, it perhaps should not be ruled out. If found out to be real then it would change the views on space exploration along with space travel, so really if there is anything to it there is no wonder that it is being kept a secret.
ISS CAPTURES UFO PASSING AT HIGH SPEED IN THE SKIES OF NORTH KOREA
ISS CAPTURES UFO PASSING AT HIGH SPEED IN THE SKIES OF NORTH KOREA
The unseen video that shows the mysterious object passing at high speeds over North Korea surfaced on the Internet. This unidentified object entered the upper layers of the atmosphere. The object was captured with a camera installed on the International Space Station.
Live broadcasts from the International Space Station (ISS) are usually guidelines for unexplained appearances, which ufologists and conspiracy theorists always associate with extraterrestrial beings. Once again, the US space agency was accused of covering up evidence of the existence of aliens.
It has been going on for some time that not every space technology or celestial body observer approaching Earth has a strictly terrestrial origin. The International Space Station since it began its scientific activities in space seems to have become a point of direct observation of the Unidentified Flying Objects that circulate our atmosphere, and more, "they" seem to demonstrate that they are not even worried about being captured in video Or detected by radars and other instruments of detection of space agencies administered by the superpowers.

CHASING A UFO WITH A LASER
CHASING A UFO WITH A LASER
UFO's are mostly known as these untouchable discs flying through to the sky. People think that these objects can not be touched, not be messed with, no be tracked. However, when we try to seek contact with these entities, the results are spectaculair.
I went out UFO hunting this evening and I came across this object, I checkec my satelite finder and the results were negative, I checked my plane tracker and the result was negative. The object that I was filmking was showing some strange movements so I decided to shine my laser towards the object and the results were spectacular.
Could this be some form of intelligent being that was trying to communicate with me? Or was it trying to get out of scope really fast? The object did not make any noice whatsoever. The movements were highly irregular. What do you think it is? I don't it was a bird.
Two separate texts were discovered, now being held in the Morgan Library and Museum in New York City and the other at the Museum of the University of Pennsylvania, which have recently been deciphered in the past few year
Texts that date back some 1,200 years and written in the Coptic language – a form of Egyptian – describes how Pontius Pilate had dinner with Jesus the night before his crucifixion and supposedly offered his son to be condemned to death in place of the Messiah.
However, more peculiarly, the text describes how the authorities asked Judas to kiss Jesus to identify him because he had the ability to shape-shift.
Part of the text reads: “Without further ado, Pilate prepared a table and he ate with Jesus on the fifth day of the week. And Jesus blessed Pilate and his whole house.”
The Roman, who is considered a Saint in Captic churches which would explain the favourable view of him, then tells Jesus: “Well then, behold, the night has come, rise and withdraw, and when the morning comes and they accuse me because of you, I shall give them the only son I have so that they can kill him in your place.”
To which Jesus responds: "Oh Pilate, you have been deemed worthy of a great grace because you have shown a good disposition to me."

Jesus then supposedly showed Pilate that he can escape if he chose to by shape-shifting.
The text reads: "Pilate, then, looked at Jesus and, behold, he became incorporeal: He did not see him for a long time.”
GETTY
Jesus was allegedly a shape-shifter
The text also describes Judas’ betrayal of Jesus: "Then the Jews said to Judas: ‘How shall we arrest him (Jesus)? For he does not have a single shape but his appearance changes. Sometimes he is ruddy, sometimes he is white, sometimes he is red, sometimes he is wheat coloured, sometimes he is pallid like ascetics, sometimes he is a youth, sometimes an old man’.”
However, historians believe that it is unlikely that anyone took the text as truthful.
Roelof van den Broek, of Utrecht University in the Netherlands, told Live Science that the author probably did not even believe it.
He said: "I find it difficult to believe that he really did, but some details, for instance the meal with Jesus, he may have believed to have really happened.
"The people of that time, even if they were well-educated, did not have a critical historical attitude. Miracles were quite possible , and why should an old story not be true?"
Schokkende oude Egyptische geschriften onthullen bizarre geheimen over Jezus
Schokkende oude Egyptische geschriften onthullen bizarre geheimen over Jezus
On the Life and the Passion of Christ.
In physics, some of the easiest questions to ask are the most difficult to answer. From the mystery of dark matter to the inevitable end of the universe, there are many questions we just don't have answers for yet.
BIG QUESTIONS IN PHYSICS
Across all disciplines of science there exists an abundance of unanswered questions and mysteries that have endured for as long as humans have attempted to solve them. Perhaps one of the most query-filled fields is physics, which continues to confound even the most brilliant minds. While it’s unlikely that all these quandaries will be answered in our lifetime, some of them may well could be.
Why is there more matter than antimatter?
In theory, the Big Bang should have created as much matter as antimatter in the universe. But it didn’t — at least not as far as physicists can see. Matter is everywhere, all around us — it makes up everything. But so far, we’ve only found small amounts of antimatter. Why is that? Shouldn’t a particle of matter have an antimatter counterpart? It must be that the laws of the universe and nature just don’t apply to antimatter the same way they do to matter. Scientists have to figure out why that is and what it means for the universe.
What is dark energy/dark matter/all this dark stuff?
For all we can see of our universe, there’s much more that we have yet to see — in part because it’s made up of invisible stuff called dark energy and dark matter. The thing is, we haven’t even actually visualized dark matter — only the effect it has on what we can see. Physicists are trying to gain a deeper understanding of the invisible force by studying the behavior of stars and galaxies which appear to react to the presence of it. It is, however, a challenge to study something we can’t see. We need technology to catch up and let us come face-to-face with these “dark” substances.
THE UNIVERSE’S UNSOLVED MYSTERIES
One of the simplest questions to ask may be one of the hardest to answer:
How big is the universe?
Asking how big, or how old, the universe is depends on what part of the universe you’re talking about: the observable universe, or the entirety of it. We know through studying light that the observable universe is around 13.8 billion years old — that’s 46 billion light years. Determining how big even the observable universe is presents challenges because it isn’t a static entity: the universe is still expanding.
Are there parallel universes?
Even though we don’t quite have a handle on our own universe, it hasn’t stopped us from wondering if there are others out there — particularly so-called parallel universes. The idea is part of the multiverse theory, for which there are at least five accepted theories. Those who don’t think it’s possible point out that after the Big Bang, with all that matter taking up space in space, inflation would have slowed down. Because it slowed down, if there were multiverses they wouldn’t be expanding at the same rate as our universe is. That would throw a wrench in the idea of a truly parallel universe.
This is merely a fraction of the questions physicists are asking, and it all kind of comes down to answering one final question: what’s the ultimate fate of the universe? How will it end? Some theories posit that it will be a lot like how it began: a big bang. More specifically, a big crunch. One of the most prominent theories about the inevitable death of the universe is that eventually, as the universe expands, it will eventually reach a density that exceeds critical density — at which point it would collapse in on itself in an event referred to as the Big Crunch. Of course, that’s just one theory. Another posits that the end will be more of an endless void — but in either case, it won’t happen for billions, if not trillions, of years. As far as we know, anyway.
Technical advances in space exploration and science are driving the increased likelihood of making contact with extraterrestrial life. Contact with alien life, especially if it happens soon, has the potential to transform humanity entirely.
TECHNICAL ADVANCES DRIVING CONTACT
Both the most cynical person on Earth and the world’s greatest optimist could easily look at everything around them and ask: could this truly be all there is in the universe? Whatever your reason for posing the question, you may have an answer sooner than you think — and that answer is likely to be “no.” Science writer and comedian Ben Miller posits in his book The Aliens Are Coming! The Extraordinary Science Behind Our Search for Life in the Universe that one of the most powerful forces shaping science today is the growing search for life in the universe fueled by the belief that we are not alone. He believes that because of our current technologies, we’ll know about life on the Earth-like planets closest to us within the next ten years.
It’s easy to see why he thinks so. Scientists have identified an exoplanet that they’ve described as the best candidate for life as we know it — perhaps an even more important a target for planet characterization within habitable zones in the future than either Proxima b or TRAPPIST-1, and these have also recently been discovered. Speaking of Proxima b, the James Webb Telescope is likely to give us the images that will clarify its potential for supporting life, as it will do for other exoplanets.
In recent months scientists have stated that the fast radio bursts we’ve intercepted from outer space may well be evidence of alien life. Now they’re working to discern whether alien technology could be their source. Scientists also now believe that life might exist on Europa, one of Jupiter’s four Galilean moons. Recently, NASA’s plans to send a lander in search of biosignatures that might signal the presence of extraterrestrial life within its warm core have sprung into action; Europa may be home to a subterranean ocean, making it an ideal place to search for alien life.
Kepler-186f, pictured here in an artist's concept, is the first Earth-size planet to be discovered in a star's habitable zone.

In 2016, researchers made improvements to the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array that could make finding water on celestial bodies easier. These improvements were specifically directed toward the ongoing search for alien life, as was the partnership between Breakthrough Initiative to find alien life and the National Astronomical Observatories of China. China’s team uses the 488 meter (1,600 foot) FAST telescope, and now it is being used in partnership with the world’s other largest radio telescopes, including the Parkes Observatory in Australia and the Green Bank Telescope in the US, to seek out extraterrestrial life. In 2016 scientists also adopted more accurate methods for studying gravitational pull of distant stars, making it easier to gather data on the size and brightness of the star, the likelihood of water oceans, and possibility of life being present.
AN UTTERLY CHANGED HUMANITY
Why are we so enthralled with this search for other life in the universe? It’s far more than an AV geek, sci-fi con hangover, if that’s your suspicion. Contact could mean extraordinary things for humanity if it happens soon — some of the possibilities are daunting, but most of them are promising.
Stephen Hawking is one of the best-known and most reputable voices who cautions against making first contact with alien life. His argument is simply that we have no way of knowing what’s out there, and that, historically speaking, as more advanced civilizations have come into contact with less advanced cultures, the latter has typically been oppressed and aggressed against, the former seeing it as less valuable. However, it’s worth noting that when we speak historically we are, by necessity, limited to our own recorded human history. What we’re observing may not be a pattern common to all life; it may simply be a pattern common to human cultures.
In contrast, the SETI (Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence) Institute is populated by people who feel we have little, if anything, to lose by seeking out other forms of life. SETI has now given birth to METI International (Messaging Extra Terrestrial Intelligence), which is actively seeking out contact. Douglas Vakoch, a professor in the Department of Clinical Psychology at the California Institute for Integral Studies and the president of METI International, strongly disagrees with Hawking. He thinks it is illogical to hide our existence as a species since we have already leaked transmissions from radio and television broadcasts in the form of electromagnetic radiation for almost 100 years. Vakoch concludes that any culture with the technological sophistication to master interstellar travel can already perceive our leaked signals, and are therefore already aware of us, waiting for us to make the first move.
METI, led by Vakoch, is now working to target star systems within 20 or 30 light-years with repeat messages as part of an effort to accumulate data in order to test the Fermi Paradox and the Zoo Hypothesis. Ideally, within a few decades, Vakoch and his team hope that they will generate a testable hypothesis with enough data and standard peer-review methods.
As for Miller, he’s not on Team Hawking, and thinks that the benefits of contact outweigh the risks. The potential to learn about advanced technology for space travel, repairing our planet’s environment, and many other applications is an obvious benefit to contact. For Neil deGrasse Tyson, the big benefit to contact is more profound: right now, our understanding of life is extremely limited, and that is because we only have our own, terrestrial sample of life to study. The notion that we have an understanding of the tremendous diversity of life is somewhat silly when you think of it in this context; our entire set of observations all share a single origin and an encoded existence that transmits heredity and mediates replication via nucleic acids.
Our current understanding of life is too much like the infamous legal definition of pornography — the classic “I know it when I see it” — which, for Tyson, lacks scientific rigor (and to clarify, he is not responsible for that icky analogy). But our explorations of the galaxy to find contact with other forms of life could give us other examples and samples, and a truer sense of what life truly is. This kind of knowledge has the potential to change everything else we think we know, most likely for the better.

Life in the Rocks
Microscopic images of geyserite taken from the Dresser Formation in Australia provide evidence for microbial life that lived 3.48 billion years ago. The ripply "palisade" texture could have been formed when long filaments of bacteria were entombed by the silica from the mineral-rich water from a hot spring.

Ancient rocks found in a remote stretch of Western Australia may contain the world's oldest known evidence of life on land, a new study finds.
The findings hint that early life may have gotten its start in hot springs on land, as opposed to deep inside ocean hydrothermal vents, as is commonly believed, Djokic told Live Science. [Read more about the oldest evidence.]
Sunbathing Toddlers
A group of great white sharks, babies and 1- and 2-year-olds, was spotted off the coast of Dana Point, California, on May 10, 2017.

A group of more than a dozen great white sharks were spotted swimming in the surf off a Southern California beach, but beachgoers shouldn't panic, say shark experts.
These are not bloodthirsty predators, but rather a group of "toddlers," said Chris Lowe, director of the Shark Lab at California State University, Long Beach. They are babies and 1- and 2-year-olds, probably 5 to 7 feet (1.5 to 2 meters) long, that are likely moving into the shallow waters because the area is safe and there's plenty of their favorite food, stingrays, Lowe said. Inside a 3,800-year-old pyramid at the site of Dahshur in Egypt, archaeologists have discovered a burial chamber that may have held the mummy of a princess named Hatshepset. A wooden box inscribed with hieroglyphs was also found within the chamber.
The wooden box is inscribed with "Hatshepset," which likely does not refer to the pharaoh Hatshepsut but rather someone else with a similar name, the researchers said. Last month, another inscription, written on an alabaster block, was also found in the pyramid. [Read more about the discovery.]
Poop Diet
Studies in mice have garnered attention for a remarkable result: When the feces of one mouse was transplanted to another mouse, the recipient mouse either gained or lost weight.
All of the patients in the study received stool from OpenBiome, a company that provides stool from healthy donors who have healthy BMIs, said Dr. Valery Muenyi, a resident physician in internal medicine at the University of Miami and the lead author of this study. An estimated 7,000 bodies are thought to be buried under The University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC), according to radar scans of the campus grounds.
Exhuming and reburying 7,000 bodies could be very expensive — about $3,000 per corpse, or a total of about $21 million — and UMMC is currently investigating options that could relocate the bodies and create both a memorial center and a dedicated lab for analyzing the remains, UMMC representatives added. A Robot Can Print This $32,000 House in as Little as 8 Hours
PassivDom
IN BRIEF
PassivDom uses a 3D printing robot that can print the walls, roof, and floor of a 380-square-foot model home in about eight hours. When complete, the homes are autonomous and mobile, meaning they don't need to connect to external electrical and plumbing systems.
Building a house by hand can be both time-consuming and expensive. Numerous homebuilders have chosen to automate part of the construction (i.e., by printing the home’s parts) instead.
A new Ukrainian homebuilding startup called PassivDom uses a 3D printing robot that can print parts for tiny houses. The machine can print the walls, roof, and floor of PassivDom’s 380-square-foot model in about eight hours. The windows, doors, plumbing, and electrical systems are then added by a human worker.
When complete, the homes are autonomous and mobile, meaning they don’t need to connect to external electrical and plumbing systems. Solar energy is stored in a battery connected to the houses, and water is collected and filtered from humidity in the air (or you can pour water into the system yourself). The houses also feature an independent sewage system.
PassivDom’s homes, which start at $31,900, are now available for preorder online in Ukraine and the US, and the first ones will be delivered later this year.
Check out the homes below.
PassivDom’s smallest model measures 380 square feet and costs $31,900, designer Maria Sorokina tells Business Insider.
Passivdom
Here’s what the house looks like when you walk in the front door. It’s a large open space with a small kitchen and floor-to-ceiling windows.

This model doesn’t include a separate bedroom, which means residents need a sleeper sofa. A small bathroom is located near the kitchen.
Passivdom
PassivDom offers three models of homes and can make custom models as well. The premium models come with furniture, but the one pictured below comes unfurnished.

The homes also offer the possibility of living off the grid.
“We should have opportunities to live in nature away from civilization, but have comfortable conditions of a traditional house,” Sorokina says. “This technology can allow us to live in the woods, on mountains, or on the shore — far away from people and infrastructure.”
Passivdom
To make a PassivDom home, the team maps out the plan for the 3D printer in its factories in Ukraine and California. Layer by layer, the seven-axel robot prints the roof, floor, and 20-centimeter-thick walls, which are made of carbon fibers, polyurethane, resins, basalt fibers, and fiberglass.

Doors, windows, appliances, an alarm system, solar panels, and the septic, electrical, healing, cooling systems are then added.
Depending on the model, the whole process can take under 24 hours. The design and production of larger houses with more specifications and finishes, like the one below, can take up to a month. If a house is premade, it can be shipped the next day.
Passivdom
The startup believes 3D printing is a cheaper, more efficient way to build homes that it can sell at a (relatively) affordable price. “Over 100 million people do not have a roof over their heads,” Sorokina says. “It is necessary to build more affordable houses.”
Passivdom
PassivDom is not the only company using 3D printing to build homes. The San Francisco-based housing startup Apis Cor, Dus Architects in Amsterdam, as well as Branch Technology from Chattanooga, Tennessee, say they can construct homes in mere days or weeks.

Please.
