Mystery UFO sightings in Cornwall have earthly explanation
A bizarre, swarming UFO "appeared" in multiple places over the English coastal peninsula, but it's not a sign of an impending alien invasion.
If you've been following social media posts from people in Cornwall over the last week, then you may think the alien invasion of Earth has begun in the English peninsula. Multiple seemingly unconnected people posted videos over Twitter and Instagram showing a strange, swarming formation hovering in the sky along with the hashtag #ufocornwall. But it wasn't aliens. It was likely the work of the Eden Project.
The Eden Project is a series of massive greenhouses in Cornwall with connected transparent domes filled with exotic plants. It's a visually stunning place and it's about to launch a new attraction called Journey Into Space, which includes an Astronaut Academy, an astronomy photography exhibit and something called "Alien Encounter."
The swarming UFO videos seem to have been orchestrated by the Eden Project as a publicity stunt tied into the alien-themed part of the experience.
The Eden Project describes the Alien Encounter as "An alien spaceship has crash-landed at Eden, and its inhabitants are stranded here. We're working on a way to communicate with these mysterious life-forms -- can you help us decode their signals and language?" It sounds a bit like the 2016 movie "Arrival."
A tweet on Monday with a short video showing the swarm-UFO beaming down to the Eden Project seems to confirm the origin of the social-media videos. The Eden Project has not yet responded to a request for comment.
As far as marketing stunts go, the UFO sightings is a decent one. The Eden Project had the good sense to create an interesting-looking alien presence that mimics natural phenomena like insect swarms or a starling murmuration. Some people will be disappointed to discover the hoax, but never fear, there will always be more UFO sightings to enjoy.

Many scientists say that, life can be possible on other planet. Even a formula have been developed called "Drake Equation" which shows the possibility of finding life form on other planet. Here are 5 facts which shows that we have already encountered aliens.
1. The Skylab III Mission
Skylab III was the second manned mission to the first American space station. The mission began on July 28, 1973 and lasted 60 days. The crew was testing scientific experiments in space.
The astronauts saw a UFO that paced them for a while. The three observed the bright-red flashing object for 10 minutes, taking 4 coloured photographs.
While communicating with NASA the astronauts referred to what they were seeing with cryptic messages to avoid spreading unwanted attention.
In the brief time they were observing the object, now of the crew members decided to estimate its size and distance.
By measuring the delay between when Skylab III went in to the Earth's shadow, and when the UFO went in to the Earth's shadow. He was able to obtain a distance measurement, which showed the object to be 40-45 Km away and 243 metres in diameter.
At that time, in 1973, the Skylab was the largest object ever put in orbit, and it measured 43 meters in diameter.
2. Collisions of Planes and UFOs
Ever since man acquired the ability to fly, there have been more and more stories about encountering "delta-shaped" objects in mid flight.
With the increasing use of commercial airlines, the sightings have escalated tremendously, with many of the reporting being recorded.
Here's some of them:
ATC: Hey Cactus 564, say again... 564: I said there's Nothing on their radar on the other centres at all on that particular area, that object that's up in the air? ATC: It's up in the air? 564: Affirmative
ATC: What's the altitude about? 564: I don't know, probably right around 30,000 or so, there's Strobe, it starts from going counterclockwise and the Length is Unbelievable
ATC: Swiss Air 127, go ahead. 127: Yes Sir, I don;t know what it was but it just Overflew like a couple of hundred feet above us. I don't know if it was a rocket or whatever but incredibly fast, opposite direction. It was too fast to be an airplane.
3. The "Wow" signal
For over 50 years scientists have been listening to the skies in hopes of receiving messages from other life forms. Until August 15, 1977, there has been zero messages received.
The wow! signal is a 72 second transmission picked up by the Big Ear radio observatory at Ohio State University, coming from the direction of the constellation Sagittarius.
It's name comes from what Jerry R. Ehman, the man who recorded it, wrote down when he printed a copy of the signal.
The signal in words was "6EQUJ5".
There have been many theories as of what the signal meant, but none of them are conclusive.
4. The Apollo 11 Mission
Similar to the Skylab III case, during their journey to the moon, the Apollo 11 crew faced and observed a Ufo throughout the third day of their mission.
To avoid compromising the mission, the astronauts decided to use cryptic messages when the communication back to Huston.
"Huston, how far away is the S-IVB?" was what their cystic message said.
Nice the S-IVB, the detaching part of the spacecraft, was the only other object that they could have been observing, their cryptic message was saying " Huston, is what we are seeing what we think it is, or could it just be our detached S-IVB?"
The reply, stating that the S-IVB was 6,000 nautical miles away from them, confirmed what he crew was thinking....
After that they never talked about it for fear of ridicule... not even NASA knew this at the time.
5. Aliens DNA Samples
On the morning of July 23, 1992 at 7:30 am, while Peter Khoury was in bed, two beings in the forms of tall, beautiful Nordic women, with exceptionally long face features, visited the man in this room.
One appeared to have Asian Characteristics, with dark hair, big eyes, a long nose and slightly dark skin, while the other one was white as milk and had typical Nordic hair. The two beings were communicating telepathically with Peter Khoury who, once awaken by them, was shocked to find the two in front of him. Before he could do anything, one of the women grabbed him by the head and pushed him towards her breasts. The man, still in shock, reacted violently by biting the woman's nipple.
He chocked a little with the nipple in his throat, but managed to swallow it, noticing no blood whatsoever. The reaction of the woman was null. she communicated telepathically to the other one saying that had made a mistake. The man was able to hear their conversation, at the end of which they disappeared. Immediately after that he went to the bathroom because he was feeling pain on his penis. When he checked what was causing that feeling, he was shocked to find some of the blond woman's hair attached around that area.
He removed the hair with a lot of pain and effort and secured it so that he could send it for examination. After that he had six hour erection. At first it appeared to have come from a light skinned caucasian like looking woman. The thin blond hair was examined and was concluded that it could not have come from a normal human of that racial type.
Not only did Peter Khoury's story have physical proof, but it was also backed up by the lie detector, which concluded that he was stating the truth about an event that had really happened.

Bizarrely, a team of British intelligence officers were assigned to investigate weird sightings in the skies in World War I – becoming the precursor of UFO investigators both real and fictional.
Most of us think of UFOs and mysterious sightings in the sky as a modern phenomenon – but ‘phantom airships’ became a huge panic in the early years of the Twentieth century, and regularly featured in newspapers.
By the time of World War I, a more scientific approach was needed.
A predecessor to MI5 – Military Observation Department Five (MO5), under the control of Lieutenant Colonel Kell – was assigned the task of classifying sightings in the air.
Amid panic about enemy airships, it was a military necessity to weed out ‘phantom airships’ from real aircraft sightings.
Nigel Watson, author of UFOs of the First World War says, ‘It can be regarded as the first ever official guide to studying UFO reports long before the CIA or any other organisation got with the subject when ‘flying saucer’ sightings were all the rage after WWII.
‘During WW! there were numerous reports of mysterious lights and objects moving about in the skies. These were studied by the Assistant Director of Military Aeronautics, a post held by Lieutenant Colonel W.S. Brancker; the department of Military Training; and by the Brancker and Kell can be regarded as the first Mulder and Scully who studied the flow of UFO-type reports that flowed into their offices.’
Lights in the sky
The reports sent to Brancker and Kell sound eerily like today’s UFO sightings – and came amid widespread panic not only about enemy airships but also more mysterious sightings.
A 1914 telegram from the Chief Constable of Lancashire said, ‘Large red light seen at 8.45pm today passing over Runcorn Bridge Arches. Immediately afterwards, an explosion was heard in Widnes and Runcorn.
The guidelines set out by the war office helped officers of MO5 categorise sightings as of natural origin – or as something more mysterious.
Flying saucers
Various legends about extraterrestrials have circulated about World War I – of which the most astonishing (and implausible) is that German fighter ace the Red Baron shot down a UFO.
Fellow pilots claimed, after the war, that Baron Manfred von Richtofen shot down a flying saucer type craft – from which two inhabitants fled.
Fellow German pilot Peter Waitzrick said that the fighters saw an aircraft like an upside down saucer, ‘We were terrified because we’d never seen anything like it before. The Baron immediately opened fire and the thing went down like a rock, shearing off tree limbs as it crashed into the woods.
‘There’s no doubt in my mind that the Baron shot down some kind of spacecraft from another planet and those little guys who ran off into the woods were space aliens of some kind.
The story is highly dubious, however – given that Waitzrick didn’t share his story until 80 years after the event, and chose to do so in the U.S. tabloid Weekly World News.
The disappearing soldiers
UFO fans claim that aliens may have ‘abducted’ people from the battlefields of World War I – with a claim of hundreds of men ‘vanishing’ into a cloud during the Gallipoli campaign.
Witnesses claimed to have seen British soldiers marching towards Hill 60 at Sulva Bay in Turkey on August 21, 1915 – before being snatched up by a ‘solid-looking’ cloud.
A statement from a supposed eye-witness published in 1965, said, ‘When they arrived at this cloud they marched straight into it with no hesitation, but no one ever came out to fight. About an hour later this cloud very unobtrusively lifted off the ground until it joined other similar clouds, then they all moved away northwards.’
But it seems likely that this is a hoax. Documents released after the Armistice suggest that 180 bodies found behind enemy lines are those of the ‘missing soldiers’ – and the story of the cloud is a myth.
The ‘Angel’ of Mons
An ‘Angel’ which many British soldiers credited with saving their lives in one of the first, brutal battles of World War I has been seized on by UFO fans as evidence of extraterrestrials…
Many soldiers credited the strange apparitions with saving their lives – and the story became a staple of parish magazines.
The battle had been one of the first in which the British faced the Germans – and despite retreating, only 1,600 lives were lost.
Decades later, debate rages still – some attributing the ‘Angel’ to a short story from the Evening Standard, others to British intelligence.
The popular author, Arthur Machen claimed that this legend was created by his fictional ‘The Bowmen’ story published in The Evening News, 29 September 1914.
In it, British soldiers call on St George for aid, and are helped by ghostly bowmen from the Battle of Agincourt. One fact that lends weight to this theory is that few reports of the incident exist before Machen’s story.
Nigel Watson, author of UFOs of World War 1 says, ‘Even today the legend is swathed in controversy. Theories about it range from it being a myth based on Machen’s story, the product of hallucinations due to stress and exhaustion, real angelic visitations, ghosts, swamp gas, airships or alien UFOs projecting or shaping themselves to the expectations of the witnesses.’

NASA have revealed that a curious incident in 2010 might be firm evidence that an alien species is attempting to create communication links with humanity. In 2010, Voyager 2 became the first spacecraft powered by human beings to leave the known solar system. According to NASA expert Kevin Baines, at the time that the craft entered interstellar space, it became to send communications to the base on Earth in a language that was totally incomprehensible to the scientists who received it.
NASA SPACECRAFT HIJACKED BY ALIENS?
Baines said that the team immediately assumed that the spacecraft was malfunctioning in some way and proceeded to run a full assessment of its systems. However, they could find nothing wrong with it except that one component in the binary code system had been changed from 0 to 1. After running further investigations, they were left with no alternate explanation except that someone or something had taken temporary control of the spacecraft. The minute change in the binary code suggested that someone or something deliberately tried to alter aspects of Voyager 2’s computer system. This suggested to the team on the ground that the spacecraft had been temporarily taken over by computer hackers. However, they didn’t think it was likely that the hackers were of terrestrial origin as they would not have been able to make contact with the spacecraft at such an enormous distance. It took the experts at NASA three weeks to be able to reassert control over the spacecraft’s computer system and correct the era. Officially, NASA has conceded that they have absolutely no idea about who or what could have taken temporary control over Voyager 2 and sent the incomprehensible message to their team on the ground. However, German scientist Hartwig Hausdorff has not been so coy in revealing what he thinks was behind the incident – he is confident that the message was sent by an alien species.
A fleet of passenger aircraft is stabled at Las Vegas McCarran International Airport that it's impossible to buy tickets for.
They don't carry any company logos – they're plain white with a red band down the side - and anyone who boards one is sworn to secrecy about where they're going and what they do for a living.
The reason that the aircraft, mostly Boeing 737s, are so shadowy in nature, is because they serve America's most secret military base, Area 51 in Nevada, which conspiracy theorists claim houses UFO technology.

Drone flying over Area 51 spots 'something odd'
They are run by the United States Air Force and operate from a private terminal at McCarran nicknamed Gold Coast, according to Flight Club.
The fleet does have a name of sorts – Janet Airlines, because that's the call sign the planes in it use while in civilian airspace.
From Las Vegas they fly north-west to a place that has what's widely regarded as the most restricted airspace in the world, the Area 51 base in the Nevada Test and Training Range.
In fact, Flight Club calls it 'restricted airspace inside restricted airspace'.
It claims that once the Janet aircraft approach this secretive area their call signs change from the likes of 'Janet 210' to 'bones 58'.
Once they touch down, the passengers disembark into a facility that's inspired countless books, TV shows and movies, but about which very little is known.

UFO expert Nick Pope said: 'Area 51 [pictured] exists - it's part of a military testing range in Nevada - and because of the remote and sparsely-populated location, it's where various secret prototype aircraft and drones are developed and test flown'
Nick Pope, author of Encounter in Rendlesham Forest and the man who used to investigate UFOs for the British Ministry of Defence, explained to MailOnline Travel that Area 51 is the place where some of America's most hi-tech military hardware is built and tested – but he doubts any of it is extra-terrestrial in origin.
He said: 'Area 51 exists - it's part of a military testing range in Nevada - and because of the remote and sparsely-populated location, it's where various secret prototype aircraft and drones are developed and test flown.
'The UFO and conspiracy theory community think it's the place where crashed UFOs are kept and where the US military are trying to back-engineer this alien technology, and even Hillary Clinton has said that if she's elected President she'll look into the claims.
'Sadly, despite the rumours, I've seen no evidence that we've recovered any extraterrestrial technology.
'Having been namechecked in movies like Independence Day, Area 51 has become part of pop culture and the secret is out, so if there ever was alien technology at Area 51, I suspect it's been moved to a location we've never heard of.'
Something crashed near Roswell, New Mexico, 68 years ago. The first military authorized press release stated, “RAAF (Roswell Army Air Field) Captures Flying Saucer On Ranch In Roswell Region.” That’s right, the military was the first to indicate it was a flying saucer.
Then, they quickly said that was a mistake. It was just a weather balloon. But UFO researchers were never satisfied with that answer, even decades later, and the controversy only grew.
The military later revealed that this wasn’t a simple weather balloon, but an aircraft used for clandestine purposes — part of the Army’s top secret “Project Mogul”— to monitor atomic weapon testing in the old Soviet Union. The military also claimed that crash test dummies may have been mistaken for ETs. But that explanation only stirred the controversy.
The central figure surrounding the events of the 1947 Roswell UFO issue was Maj. Jesse Marcel, the intelligence officer for the 509th Bomb Group at Roswell Army Air Field. He was assigned the initial task of going out to the debris field to collect some of the material, described as shiny wreckage, including pieces of rubber, super-resistant tinfoil, wooden sticks and metallic-looking I-beams.
Here’s an excerpt from a 35-year-old interview conducted by this writer with Marcel, when he finally felt comfortable talking about the Roswell case more than 30 years after it happened:
We went out to the scene of where the crash was and started picking up the debris. It’s almost indescribable. It’s not the kind of material I’d ever seen in my life, nor have I seen it since. There were various types of materials which I couldn’t identify. There were little members that looked like they were made of wood, but it wasn’t wood and it had some kind of writing or hieroglyphics that I couldn’t decipher and nobody else could. It was flexible, but you couldn’t break it and you couldn’t burn it.
Also, I found a piece of metal which was about the thickness of the foil in a pack of cigarettes. But the amazing part about it was you could put it on the ground, hit it with a sledge hammer and you couldn’t even put a dent in it. That astounded me and I knew it was nothing from here. I was convinced it was not from anywhere on Earth and I’m still convinced of that.
I had brought a counterintelligence man with me in a staff car plus a pickup truck. We got everything we could into that and I sent the agent back to the base. Then I filled up my car with stuff. By the time I got back home, my wife said, ‘What happened to you? There’s been a bunch of news reporters out here, wanting a picture of you.’ And I said, ‘For what?’ And there had been a public relations officer with them. He said, ‘From what happened, your husband will be very popular by tomorrow morning.’ So that’s how it all started.
What amazed me most of all was the weightlessness of all this material — it weighed nothing. I found one piece of metal — supposedly metal — which was about a foot wide and about two-and-a-half feet long. When I got back to the base, we [Marcel and several enlisted men] brought it all into a briefing room and set up a whole lot of tables there. One of the men said, ‘Let me see if I can put some of those parts together, to see what the thing might have looked like.’ He came back later and said [he tried but couldn’t do it].
I consulted my CO [commanding officer], who said, ‘You better fly the thing to Wright-Patterson Air Field [Ohio]. So, we loaded up the whole thing — which was not a whole lot of material — onto a B-29. We had only picked up one small fraction of what was out there. It was scattered over such an area about three-quarters of a mile long and several hundred feet wide. We’d been there all day, picking up the fragments.
I asked my CO if it was a better idea to stop at Carswell [Air Force Base] at Fort Worth and consult General Ramey and he said, ‘Yes, you better do that.’ When I got to Fort Worth, I talked it over with the general, and he told me, ‘Don’t open your mouth to the press. Put some stuff on the floor and let them take a picture of it.’ But I was careful not to put out anything with detail on it. So they took pictures, and one picture appeared in the papers. Gen. Ramey told news reporters this was nothing but a crashed weather balloon, but I do know this: later on, Ramey wanted to cover his statement up, because he didn’t know, himself, what it was. I went back to Roswell to resume my duties, but what they did at Carswell was to make a mock display with a battered weather balloon and they let the press take pictures of that. The whole thing was a cover-up to begin with and that was the last I heard of it.
I know it was not a weather balloon and I’d swear it on the biggest bible. It wasn’t a missile or any part of an aircraft that we know of.
To mark the crash anniversary, Michael Donovan of OuterPlaces.com joined us on the HuffPost Weird News Podcast to discuss Roswell’s unanswered questions.
Two years ago, Donovan was standing in the Roswell crash debris field along with Dr. Jesse Marcel Jr., a highly decorated military flight surgeon.
“It was a moving experience because we’re out on the site and this large thunderstorm was moving toward us — you could see lightning flashing — and he’s standing there with his Iraq war veteran hat on and said, ‘This is amazing. Sixty-six years ago, my father was standing on this very site,'” said Donovan.
“His father had loaded debris into his car, drove back to Roswell, stopping at his house, and showed his wife and son, Jesse Jr., the material after spreading it out on the kitchen floor,” said Donovan. “Here’s a guy — a doctor, a flight surgeon — why would he make up an experience he had in the middle of the night when he was 11 years old? So, when we were standing there at the crash site, I asked him, ‘When they loaded that plane up and flew it to Fort Worth, what happened to it?’ And he said, ‘You know what? I don’t know.’ But he said the base commander’s secretary, a few years ago before she retired, showed somebody a box of stretchy stuff that, if you crushed it, it would pop open. Jesse Jr. said to me, ‘I think that stuff must still be somewhere around, in the military’s possession.'”
Donovan says his belief in UFOs and a possible cover-up surrounding the Roswell UFO incident never gets in the way of his work — which includes co-designing the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.
“No, not at all. It goes back to the idea of being on a quest, being a problem-solver, and that’s what designers do. We solve problems. In the reading of science fiction, you begin on a path to discovery. That’s what we do every day and it’s really that kind of interest — learning new things — that put me on the path that I’m now on, relative to OuterPlaces.com.
“In my own mind, I keep trying to create some kind of balance between what I think is a certain appropriate level of secrecy. We’re adults in this country, by and large, and I think the government owes us as much information and let us make up our own minds.”
Here are some unanswered questions that continue to surround the 1947 Roswell UFO crash incident:
1) What exactly crashed there in 1947? Was it a weather balloon, high altitude spy device, extraterrestrial craft?
2) Did the military switch materials that Maj. Marcel brought back from the debris field and, instead, allow the press to take pictures of an actual battered weather balloon?
3) If the crash site debris wasn’t really a weather balloon, where did the real stuff end up?
4) Why would the military decide to even issue a press release about a captured flying saucer?
5) Related to the above question, why would the military suddenly change the story from flying saucer to weather balloon?
6) Why did the military hire a local Roswell mortician to make child-sized caskets following the UFO debris retrieval?
7) Why did Jesse Marcel Sr. wait more than 30 years before finally revealing his part in the Roswell UFO events?
8) If true, why would the U.S. government want to cover up such a monumental event as the crash of an alien ship?
This weekend’s 20th Roswell UFO festival takes off full blast today with speakers giving their presentations at different locations simultaneously. If lectures don’t fit your fancy, there’s always the alien pet and alien costume contests and a UFO festival light parade to check out.
It’s fair to say that something happened outside Roswell in 1947 that literally put the town on the map. The debris is long gone, but the reverberations have never stopped.
Whatever it was, after almost 70 years, it still depends on whom you ask or what you read, and whether you believe them.
A 1997 CNN-Time poll showed that 80 percent of Americans think the government is hiding information about the existence of alien life forms, and nearly two-thirds of the poll respondents believed that a UFO crashed outside Roswell in 1947.

Scientists at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) are working on a new microscope technology in the search for alien life. Called digital holographic microscopy (DHM), it is, according to their publication, a technique that has a much better output when compared to traditional microscopes. The device, currently in development, has no moving parts, so it can be put to use in detecting life as long a large enough sample is collected.
The researchers have pointed out that the moons of Jupiter and Saturn are the most likely locationswhere life is possible on the outer planets. In their report, they pointed out that Nasa now has as an "explicit goal the search for signs of life".
Considering the distance that needs to be travelled and the restrictions that a spacecraft would face in outer space, especially the outer planets, sample collection cannot be done in high volume or quantity.
Life, if it exists on the outer planets, cannot be expected to be thriving. In fact, the researchers say that life will most likely be prokaryotic (a unicellular organism that lacks a membrane-bound nucleus), anaerobic (organism that does not require oxygen for growth), and present at potentially very low densities, presenting further difficulties in sample collection and detection.
According to the scientists, the new technology improves on the existing electron microscopy methods. They claim that it is an "approximately 100-fold improvement". The new technique also has the ability to capture two important facets of microorganisms- their 'intensity and phase'. This leads to clear images even when they are focusing on organisms that are nearly transparent.
In outer space, organic life cannot be expected to be similar to, or even resemble what is here on earth, so looking at single celled life and telling the difference between a mineral or a salt and a living cell is a challenge.
The scientists therefore need to detect "multiple identically shaped and sized, highly regular features that may suggest life". So that is what this new microscope will be looking for on alien surfaces.
Field testing of the technique was carried out in the Canadian High Arctic. The harsh cold terrain there could be compared to environments in outer space. Two samples were tested with different bacterial populations, concentrations, and levels of activity.
In the tests the team was able identify life clearly in of the samples using this new method without any "preconcentration or any other steps".
The target is Enceladus, one of Saturn's moons. The Enceladus plume as it is known is a vapour spout that spews water into outer space. The idea of the DHM project is to collect samples there. A flyby through the heart of the Enceladus plume at an altitude of 50 km could give them enough samples to study and look for life forms.

Sumer, or the ‘land of civilized kings’, flourished in Mesopotamia, now modern-day Iraq, around 4500 BC. Sumerians created an advanced civilization with its own system of elaborate language and writing, architecture and arts, astronomy and mathematics. Their religious system was a complex one comprised of hundreds of gods. According to the ancient texts, each Sumerian city was guarded by its own god; and while humans and gods used to live together, the humans were servants to the gods.
The Sumerian creation myth can be found on a tablet in Nippur, an ancient Mesopotamian city founded in approximately 5000 BC.

Sumerian mythology claims that, in the beginning, human-like gods ruled over Earth. When they came to the Earth, there was much work to be done and these gods toiled the soil, digging to make it habitable and mining its minerals.
The texts mention that at some point the gods mutinied against their labour.

Anu, the god of gods, agreed that their labour was too great. His son Enki, or Ea, proposed to create man to bear the labour, and so, with the help of his half-sister Ninki, he did. This first man was created in Eden, a Sumerian word which means ‘flat terrain’. In the Epic of Gilgamesh, Eden is mentioned as the garden of the gods and is located somewhere in Mesopotamia between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.

Initially human beings were unable to reproduce on their own, but were later modified with the help of Enki and Ninki. Thus, Adapa was created as a fully functional and independent human being. This ‘modification’ was done without the approval of Enki’s brother, Enlil, and a conflict between the gods began. Enlil became the adversary of man, and the Sumerian tablet mentions that men served gods and went through much hardship and suffering.
Adapa, with the help of Enki, ascended to Anu where he failed to answer a question about ‘the bread and water of life’. Opinions vary on the similarities between this creation story and the biblical story of Adam and Eve in Eden.

Our planet has come a long way in scientific breakthroughs and discoveries. Mainstream science is beginning to discover new concepts of reality that have the potential to change our perception about our planet and the extraterrestrial environment that surrounds it forever. Star gates, wormholes, and portals have been the subject of conspiracy theories and theoretical physics for decades, but that is all coming to an end as we continue to grow in our understanding about the true nature of our reality.
In physics, a wormhole was a hypothetical feature of space time that would be a shortcut through space-time. We often wonder how extraterrestrials could travel so far and this could be one of many explanations. Although scientists still don’t really understand what they have found, it does open the mind to many possibilities.
Turning science fiction into science fact seems to happen quite often these days and NASA did it by announcing the discovery of hidden portals in Earth’s magnetic field. NASA calls them X-points or electron diffusion regions. They are places where the magnetic field of Earth connects to the magnetic field of the Sun, which in turn creates an uninterrupted path leading from our own planet to the sun’s atmosphere which is 93 million miles away.
NASA used its THEMIS spacecraft, as well as a European Cluster probe, to examine this phenomenon. They found that these portals open and close dozens of times each day. It’s funny, because there is a lot of evidence that points toward the sun being a giant star gate for the ‘gods’ to pass back and forth from other dimensions and universes. The portals that NASA has discovered are usually located tens of thousands of kilometres from Earth and most of them are short-lived; others are giant, vast and sustained.
As far as scientists can determine, these portals aid in the transfer of tons of magnetically charged particles that flow from the Sun causing the northern and southerns lights and geomagnetic storms. They aid in the transfer of the magnetic field from the Sun to the Earth. In 2014, the U.S. space agency will launch a new mission called Magnetospheric Multi scale Mission (MMS) which will include four spacecraft that will circle the Earth to locate and then study these portals. They are located where the Earth and the Sun’s magnetic fields connect and where the unexplained portals are formed.
NASA funded the University of Iowa for this study, and they are still unclear as to what these portals are. All they have done is observed charged particles flowing through them that cause electromagnetic phenomenon in Earth’s atmosphere.

Mainstream science continues to grow further, but I often get confused between mainstream science, and science that is formed in the black budget world. It seems that information and discovery isn’t information and discovery without the type of ‘proof’ that the human race requires. Given that the human race requires, and has a certain criteria for ‘proof’, which has been taught to us by the academic world, information can easily be suppressed by concealing that ‘proof’. It’s no secret that the department of defence receives trillions of dollars that go unaccounted for and everything developed within the United States Air Force Space Agency remains classified. They are able to classify information for the sake of ‘national security’. Within the past few years, proof has been emerging for a number of phenomenon that would suggest a whole other scientific world that operates separately from mainstream science.

Back in May, the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico detected strange radio signals coming from Ross 128, a red dwarf star 11 light-years away. After closely analyzing the data with the help of the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) project, the team has now revealed what they believe to be the source of the signals – and it's bad news for little green men hunters
According to the Arecibo astronomers, "the signals consisted of broadband quasi-periodic non-polarized pulses with very strong dispersion-like features," and they're unusual enough that the team has since dubbed the observation "The Weird! Signal," in an apparent reference to the 1977 Wow! Signal.
The astronomers put forward the three most likely explanations for the transmission: unusual stellar activity from the red dwarf, emissions from other background objects, or interference from satellite communications orbiting Earth.
Unfortunately, the most mundane of those turned out to be the culprit. The Arecibo team analyzed the data, backed up by observations from SETI using the Green Bank Telescope and the Allen Telescope Array, and has concluded that the Weird! Signal is most likely interference from geostationary satellites. Ross 128 is close to the celestial equator, which happens to be a busy patch of sky locally, and the signals are also within the range of frequencies that these satellites use to communicate.

That said, the team admits that the satellite solution leaves a few questions unanswered. Earthly origins don't quite account for the signals' "strong dispersion-like features," although this could be caused by multiple reflections. The researchers plan to continue looking into this scenario, as well as any others that might be a better fit.
Extraterrestrial intelligence was, of course, right at the bottom of the list of likely explanations. Intelligent life may ultimately have been responsible for these weird signals, but once again, it appears the call was coming from inside the house.

WATCH the once top-secret efforts by the American military to create a UFO-style alternative to the helicopter as revealed in this eye-opening series of images and video.
The video shows the classified Cold War project, which many in the US armed forces thought would be the next big thing in military innovation, going through a series of test flights between June 1 1960 and June 14 the following year.
The craft, called the Avrocar after the Canadian company that produced it, can be seen hovering a foot or so above the ground as it makes its way around the base, with one pilot at the controls.
Plans for the craft were first drawn up early in the Cold War, with each side desperate to find the next technological innovation. It was powered by a giant central fan, intended to lift it off the ground and propel it upwards.

And the American military had big plans for the Avrocar, with some staggering projections for its performance. However, the reality of the aircraft fell way below expectations.
Designers had hoped that the craft would reach speeds of around 300 mph, with a maximum altitude of 10,000 feet and a range of 995 miles.
But, as can be seen in the video, the craft fell drastically short of the projections. It's maximum speed never reached above 35 mph, with a paltry maximum altitude of three feet and a range of just 79 miles.

The aircraft was re-financed several times by the American military before funding finally ran out in June 1961. At this point, with performance falling way below expectation and no signs of any immediate improvement, the military cancelled the project.
And, judged against its projections, it's easy to see why. Objectively speaking the Avrocar was a dismal failure, with several aspects of its design unfit for military use. The craft couldn't lift itself more than a few feet off the ground without becoming extremely unstable, and its design made high-speed performance tremendously difficult. Moreover, it emitted far too much sound and heat to mak }e it a suitable combat vehicle.
In total the US spent an estimated $10 million on the projection which, by today's standards, is actually relatively good value for money. It equates to approximately $100 million in today's money, a drop in the ocean in terms of military expenditure.

One month from today, the total solar eclipse of Aug. 21 will make its way across the U.S. from Oregon to South Carolina. As the clock ticks down to the big day, the question is: Are you prepared?
A total solar eclipse occurs when the moon completely blocks the disk of the sun. While partial solar eclipses are common, with two to five occurring around the world each year, a total solar eclipse happens somewhere on Earth only about once every 18 months. The 6-year-old son of Cecil the Lion was shot and killed on July 7 just outside Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe, meeting the same end his father did in 2015, according to news reports.
A private hunter in Zimbabwe reportedly led the hunt that brought down Xanda, though his clients' identities are not known, according to a statement by Lions of Hwange National Park. [Read more about the lost giant.]

Exactly 218 years ago today, on July 19, 1799, French troops in Rosetta, Egypt, uncovered a striking black stone carved with three ancient texts: two Egyptian texts and a Greek one.
The discoverer of the Rosetta Stone was a French military officer, Pierre François Xavier Bouchard, who spotted it while he and his men were demolishing a wall to extend Fort Julien in Rosetta, a port city now known as Rashid. The troops were part of Napoleon's Egyptian campaign, in which he (temporarily) conquered the country — and brought a bevy of scientists along who were eager to study what was to them unfamiliar land. Heir Apparent
Salvador Dalí's remains are set to be exhumed in order to collect DNA samples for a paternity claim against the artist's estate.

In a surreal development almost worthy of one of his paintings, Salvador Dalí's grave is scheduled to be opened tomorrow (July 20) in an effort to collect DNA samples that could settle a paternity claim against the artist's estate.
A spokesperson for the Dalí estate told AFP that the exhumation was scheduled to proceed on July 20, but an appeal is being filed against the court's decision. [Read more about the family.]
Cracking Up

The trillion-ton iceberg that broke off Antarctica last week will not go quietly into the night.
Satellite images from ESA and the European Union’s Copernicus Program show that the massive iceberg is splintering and a constellation of smaller icebergs are surrounding it. The vagaries of ocean currents and buoyancy of ice will dictate how long the pack of 'bergs travels together. It's possible the smaller chunks could be the first drift north toward warmer waters in the South Atlantic where they would meet their likely demise. [Read more about the iceberg.]

The world's first laser weapon — one that can "kill" threatening, airborne drones — is ready for action, according to news sources.
The LaWS laser beam is completely silent and invisible. A Lost Continent

Scientists will soon venture to the world's hidden eighth continent, the sunken land of Zealandia.

King Tut's Wife

Famed archaeologist Zahi Hawass and his team say they've found evidence of a tomb that could belong to King Tut's wife.
As for whose remains were buried there, Hawass said the tomb could belong to Ankhesenamun, who was the wife of Tutankhamun (reign 1336-1327 B.C.). Ankhesenamunmarried Ay after King Tut died, so it's possible that her tomb is located near Ay's, Hawass said. [Read more about the tomb.]
What the Drake Equation Can Tell Us About the Future of Humanity

The Drake Equation is a method of quantifying the likelihood of finding intelligent alien life. Many variables influence the equation, which continually expands, but there are limits as well.
The Drake Equation attempts to quantify how likely we are to find intelligent alien life.
It takes all of the variables required for an intelligent civilization to exist AND send out communication signals, then multiplies them together.
The values of the variables on the left side of the equation are skyrocketing the more we explore the universe with telescopes and satellites. We’ve found far more star systems and planets capable of hosting life than we ever thought possible. Some estimates are as high as 60 billion planets in the Milky Way!
But the N value (the estimated number of alien civilizations in our galaxy capable of communication) must still be small because…well…we haven’t found them yet!
That begs that question — which of the variables on the right side, the unknowns, are the great filters causing that small N value?
The most critical variable to us on Earth is the last one. L is the length of time civilizations release detectable signals into space.
If L is responsible for the small N value, it could mean that species don’t often last long enough to create signals, let alone receive them. It would then stand to reason that the near-term destruction of our species is statistically probable.
SETI researchers hope that, instead, the great filter is behind us. Perhaps the emergence of intelligent life is the rare occurrence rather than how long those lifeforms survive.
Or maybe the Drake Equation is incomplete.
Maybe they have some Star Trek-esque ideal of never meddling with the growth of early-stage civilizations.
Maybe they are out there listening, but they’re so far away that our signals won’t reach them for centuries, and their replies will take just as long to hit our digital ears.
Maybe they’re so much more advanced that we’re just not that interesting to them.
…or maybe we’re one day away from receiving a reply.

In Siberië zijn gemummificeerde leden van een nog onbekende beschaving opgegraven uit de permafrost. Dat schrijft The Siberian Times.
De ontdekkingen nabij de stad Salechard wijzen erop dat mensen lang geleden al in het uiterste noorden van Rusland actief waren.
“De gemummificeerde resten lagen naast elkaar en hun voeten wezen in de richting van de rivier,” zei hoofdonderzoeker Alexander Goesev.
Cocons
“De lichamen waren gewikkeld in cocons van berkenschors en stof,” vervolgde hij. “De cocon van de volwassene was van top tot teen bedekt met koperen platen.”
“De cocon van de baby was bedekt met fragmenten van een koperen ketel,” aldus Goesev. Hij schat dat het kind niet meer dan zes maanden oud was.
De cocon van de volwassene was 1,70 meter lang, wat betekent dat de man of vrouw die erin zit voor die tijd uitzonderlijk lang was.
Perzië
Onderzoekers van het Centrum voor Arctische Studies en de Nationale Universiteit van Seoel doen momenteel onderzoek naar de resten. Ze gaan onder meer het geslacht bepalen en de vondst dateren.
Het archeologische complex werd ontdekt in 1997. Er werden eerder al voorwerpen uit Perzië gevonden in het gebied.

It's never aliens. 😢

If you've been keeping up with the news in the UK, you might have heard about a morphing UFO appearing at a number of locations across Cornwall last week.
We're telling you guys straight up – this is not aliens, despite some hashtags on the footage.
Neither of those things make sense over the timeframe, which had footage being uploaded over a number of days.
Well, as both Twitter and Instagram commenters pointed out, unfortunately it's nothing that cool – instead it's likely to be a giant publicity stunt for the Eden Project, a botanical garden in Cornwall.
Speaking to The Sun Online, a spokesperson for the project said "It's true we have a galaxy of ways to tell the story of space at Eden this summer."
"To coin a phrase…The truth is out there."
Although we don't have much information to go on at this stage, it's assumed that the videos have been doctored using CGI and released to a number of people to share the UFO 'sighting'.
