Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

There have been 30 UFO sightings in Connecticut in 2017. Ten of those sightings were reported in July alone.
July was a big month for UFO sightings in the Nutmeg State, according to the National UFO Reporting Center. There were 10 UFO sightings reported in Connecticut during the month of July, according to the organization that records UFO sightings nationwide. Prior to July 20, UFO sightings had been reported in all of 2017, marking a 50 percent spike in reports.
Two of the reported sightings, however, were discredited by local police. In Clinton on July 2, a report of a green sphere with white dots was reported, but police confirmed the object to be lens flares. On July 16 in Groton, what one person thought to be a row of five hook-shaped objects was later ruled by police to be a sky-writing aircraft. "Flew extremely low overhead," wrote the reporter."Silent craft, absolutely no noise. Single red/pink light on craft. Moved from East to West. Passed over my dad's house & the neighbor's house across the street while releasing 4 small red balls of light that turned & disappeared before hitting the ground. They looked like firework embers, the way the died out. & the UFO disappeared behind the trees"
Another UFO was spotted in Manchester, where the witness saw an orange spherical light that didn't move.
Just one bright orange light visible, not moving, not twinkling, very visible, could not have been a planet," wrote the witness. "Did not change location for the couple of minutes I could see it. I tried to follow it while I was driving to assess what it could've been, but it disappeared at some point, and was not seen again."
Overall, sightings were reported in Meriden, Manchester, Plainville, Groton, South Windsor, Clinton, Stratford, Bridgeport, Middletown and Clinton.

As of Tuesday, there have been 30 UFO sightings in Connecticut reported to the organization in 2017.
The organization notes on its homepage that some of the reports are edited to make them more understandable. In addition, the organization attempts to eliminate what appears to be hoax reports.
“Those reports that deserve special attention, we feel, are those from sources who elect to remain anonymous, and/or who elect to provide no contact information,” the organization states on its website. “Also, we suspect that some of the reports that address a single source of light, passing generally from the western sky to the east may be the result of a sighting of the International Space Station.”
About 8:30 p.m. on July 23, someone in Meriden reported an egg shaped UFO flying “extremely low overhead,” according to the database. The reported craft was silent with a single red/pink light. It moved from east to west before disappearing behind trees.
About 8:20 p.m. on July 17, someone in Plainville noticed two “saucer like disks” flying along a commercial plane, but much higher. The disk passed two planes “like they were traveling two times their speed,” the report states.
About 9 a.m. on May 6, three people in Southington reported seeing red and green lights in the sky for five minutes before the lights disappeared. The lights were moving in circles, unlike a plane, and wasn’t making noise like a helicopter, the report states.
Nearly half of Americans believe in aliens, and almost as many believe aliens are visiting earth, according to a new survey. However, less than 20% believe in alien abduction, and a bit less than that claim to have seen a UFO.
20th Century Fox Home Entertainment commissioned the survey as part of their promotional campaign for the blu-ray release of the movie Phoenix Forgotten. More than 1700 Americans were surveyed.

Phoenix Forgotten is a found footage sci-fi thriller that is set during a famous mass UFO sighting in Phoenix, Arizona in 1997 that is referred to as “The Phoenix Lights.”
“The Phoenix Lights phenomenon of March 13, 1997 led us to introduce a survey to find out what Americans believe about aliens,” a rep from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment told OpenMinds.tv. “From our survey, we found that nearly half (47%) believe in aliens but less than a fifth think they’ve ever seen a UFO or alien themselves.”
Other surveys have also found that around half the population believe in aliens, but perhaps a more interesting finding in this survey was that slight less than 39% of those surveyed “believe aliens have visited Earth before.”
Although many in the group believe aliens have visited Earth, less believe aliens are actually abducting people. 18% of the group said they believed in alien abduction.
As for UFOs, only 16.74% claimed to have seen one. However, 27% said the knew someone who had.
When it comes to the Phoenix Lights, surprisingly, 45.5% said they had heard of the event. I live in Arizona, and the topic is still hot in the news out here. In fact, I was part of several promotional interviews for Phoenix Forgotten in the local media, and people still love talking about it. Especially the fact that then governor Fife Symington claims to have seen the UFO, and believes it was an alien spacecraft. So it was not too surprising to see 80% of the Arizona survey participants had heard of the Phoenix Lights. In fact, I am not sure how the other 20% have not.
The survey went on to ask whether people felt the Phoenix Lights could have been cause by aliens. A whopping 67% said yes.
Phoenix Forgotten portrays aliens as pretty scary. Another found footage movie that premiered at the International UFO Congress in Phoenix, titled The Phoenix Incident, was also based on the Phoenix Lights event and also portrayed aliens as frightening monsters. However, these portrayals do not seem to have influenced everyone. When asked if they felt aliens would have friendly or hostile intentions, only 9% were sure they would be hostile, 25% believe aliens are friendly, while 66% say they are just not sure.

Although some of these questions were obviously asked for fun, this survey does give us some interested insight into the general public’s perception of the UFO phenomenon and the idea that aliens are visiting Earth. More and more people seem to be opening up to the idea of alien visitation. Should we be afraid?
If indeed the Phoenix Lights UFO sightings were caused by aliens, no one was actually harmed. Recently, Kurt Russell claimed to have witnessed the unidentified lights from his personal aircraft he was piloting. He and his son, who was also onboard, obviously lived to tell the story. So at least the aliens flying over Phoenix in 1997 were benevolent. I guess they could also have been testing our defenses for a future invasion force. Or it could have been a manmade object that was mis-identified. A pragmatic person would assume the later was the case, as this is the most logical answer. But, personally, I find it fascinating that so many people are open to the more exotic possibilities.

Scientists spy new evidence of water in the Moon’s interior
Using satellite data, Brown researchers have for the first time detected widespread water within ancient explosive volcanic deposits on the Moon, suggesting that its interior contains substantial amounts of indigenous water.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. [Brown University] — A new study of satellite data finds that numerous volcanic deposits distributed across the surface of the Moon contain unusually high amounts of trapped water compared with surrounding terrains. The finding of water in these ancient deposits, which are believed to consist of glass beads formed by the explosive eruption of magma coming from the deep lunar interior, bolsters the idea that the lunar mantle is surprisingly water-rich.
Scientists had assumed for years that the interior of the Moon had been largely depleted of water and other volatile compounds. That began to change in 2008, when a research team including Brown University geologist Alberto Saal detected trace amounts of water in some of the volcanic glass beads brought back to Earth from the Apollo 15 and 17 missions to the Moon. In 2011, further study of tiny crystalline formations within those beads revealed that they actually contain similar amounts of water as some basalts on Earth. That suggests that the Moon’s mantle — parts of it, at least — contain as much water as Earth’s.
“The key question is whether those Apollo samples represent the bulk conditions of the lunar interior or instead represent unusual or perhaps anomalous water-rich regions within an otherwise ‘dry’ mantle,” said Ralph Milliken, lead author of the new research and an associate professor in Brown’s Department of Earth, Environmental and Planetary Sciences. “By looking at the orbital data, we can examine the large pyroclastic deposits on the Moon that were never sampled by the Apollo or Luna missions. The fact that nearly all of them exhibit signatures of water suggests that the Apollo samples are not anomalous, so it may be that the bulk interior of the Moon is wet.”
The research, which Milliken co-authored with Shuai Li, a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Hawaii and a recent Brown Ph.D. graduate, is published in Nature Geoscience. The work was part of Li's Ph.D. thesis.
Detecting the water content of lunar volcanic deposits using orbital instruments is no easy task. Scientists use orbital spectrometers to measure the light that bounces off a planetary surface. By looking at which wavelengths of light are absorbed or reflected by the surface, scientists can get an idea of which minerals and other compounds are present.
The problem is that the lunar surface heats up over the course of a day, especially at the latitudes where these pyroclastic deposits are located. That means that in addition to the light reflected from the surface, the spectrometer also ends up measuring heat.
“That thermally emitted radiation happens at the same wavelengths that we need to use to look for water,” Milliken said. “So in order to say with any confidence that water is present, we first need to account for and remove the thermally emitted component.”
To do that, Li and Milliken used laboratory-based measurements of samples returned from the Apollo missions, combined with a detailed temperature profile of the areas of interest on the Moon’s surface. Using the new thermal correction, the researchers looked at data from the Moon Mineralogy Mapper, an imaging spectrometer that flew aboard India’s Chandrayaan-1 lunar orbiter.
The researchers found evidence of water in nearly all of the large pyroclastic deposits that had been previously mapped across the Moon’s surface, including deposits near the Apollo 15 and 17 landing sites where the water-bearing glass bead samples were collected.

“The distribution of these water-rich deposits is the key thing,” Milliken said. “They’re spread across the surface, which tells us that the water found in the Apollo samples isn’t a one-off. Lunar pyroclastics seem to be universally water-rich, which suggests the same may be true of the mantle.”
The idea that the interior of the Moon is water-rich raises interesting questions about the Moon’s formation. Scientists think the Moon formed from debris left behind after an object about the size of Mars slammed into the Earth very early in solar system history. One of the reasons scientists had assumed the Moon’s interior should be dry is that it seems unlikely that any of the hydrogen needed to form water could have survived the heat of that impact.
“The growing evidence for water inside the Moon suggest that water did somehow survive, or that it was brought in shortly after the impact by asteroids or comets before the Moon had completely solidified,” Li said. “The exact origin of water in the lunar interior is still a big question.”
In addition to shedding light on the water story in the early solar system, the research could also have implications for future lunar exploration. The volcanic beads don’t contain a lot of water — about .05 percent by weight, the researchers say — but the deposits are large, and the water could potentially be extracted.
“Other studies have suggested the presence of water ice in shadowed regions at the lunar poles, but the pyroclastic deposits are at locations that may be easier to access,” Li said. “Anything that helps save future lunar explorers from having to bring lots of water from home is a big step forward, and our results suggest a new alternative.”
The research was funded by the NASA Lunar Advanced Science and Exploration Research Program (NNX12AO63G).

Onderzoekers van de Brown University in de VS zijn tot de ontdekking gekomen dat de maan veel meer water bevat dan gedacht.
Ze troffen grote waterreserves aan onder het maanoppervlak. Het eerste bewijs voor water op de maan werd pas tien jaar geleden gevonden.
Na het bestuderen van satellietgegevens kwam het onderzoeksteam tot de conclusie dat de mantel van de maan rijk aan water is.
Veel natter
Uit meetgegevens van de Indiase maansonde Chandrayaan-1 blijkt dat vrijwel alle afzettingen van explosief vulkanisme op de maan relatief rijk zijn aan water.
Dat wijst erop dat de mantel van de maan veel natter is dan altijd is aangenomen.
Het is onduidelijk of het water altijd in het gesteente aanwezig is geweest of dat het kort na de vorming van de maan is aangeleverd door inslagen van planetoïden en kometen.
Grote vraag
“Het blijft een grote vraag waar het water in het binnenste van de maan precies vandaan komt,” zei coauteur Shuai Li.
In 2008 ontdekte geoloog Alberto Saal van de Brown University sporen van water in vulkanische glasbolletjes die waren meegenomen door astronauten van de Apollo 15- en Apollo 17-missies.
Net zoveel
Na onderzoek bleken die net zoveel water te bevatten als basalt op aarde. Dat suggereert dat de mantel van de maan tenminste net zoveel water bevat als die van de aarde.
Onlangs werden er nog ‘oceanen aan water’ ontdekt in het binnenste van de aarde.
Het onderzoek is gepubliceerd in het wetenschappelijke tijdschrift Nature Geoscience.

In de Amerikaanse staat Louisiana rijdt een echtpaar naar huis, wanneer ze opeens in de lucht een vreemde wolk waarnemen.
Ze maken foto’s en uit die vreemde wolk komt op een gegeven moment een soort trechter, met aan het uiteinde een UFO.
De volgende gebeurtenis vond onlangs plaats in de stad Alexandria in de Amerikaanse staat Louisiana. Het betreft een echtpaar dat over straat rijdt en opeens een vreemde wolk ontdekt in de lucht. Een wolk die zij omschrijven qua vorm als een donut.
Ze hadden onderweg snel bovenstaande foto genomen omdat het donker begon te worden. Toen ze thuis waren aangekomen en hun auto hadden geparkeerd, keken ze nogmaals naar de vreemde donut-wolk.
Het was een stuk donkerder geworden en de lucht om de vreemde wolk leek een soort donkerbruin te zijn en tot hun verbazing zagen ze een soort trechter van wat leek op een damp uit het midden van de wolk komen.
Onderaan deze trechter verscheen een object dat een ovale vorm had en doorzichtig was, omringd door lichten.
Dit soort vreemde wolken wordt vaker gesignaleerd zoals de volgende in Australië.
En dan is er natuurlijk CERN, waar ook diverse keren iets dergelijks gebeurde. Het volgende is wat wij vorig jaar schreven:
De krachtigste deeltjesversneller ter wereld blijkt niet resistent te zijn tegen kleine scherpe tandjes. De Large Hadron Collider (LHC) van het Europees Centrum voor Nucleair Onderzoek CERN vlakbij Genève ligt sinds gisteravond stil nadat een wezel een stuk bekabeling doorbeet.
De Large Hadron Collider, die een ondergrondse, 27 kilometer lange ring vormt, is een van de meest complexe machines ter wereld. De komende dagen zal het toestel echter stilliggen voor reparatiewerkzaamheden.
Dat was dan waarschijnlijk wel een heel bijzondere marter, want het complex heeft wekenlang stil gelegen en werd rond 8 mei weer opgestart.
Direct daarna gebeurde er iets merkwaardigs met een aantal radarsystemen die een perfecte cirkelvormige wolkenformatie weergaven boven CERN.
CERN heeft publiekelijk aangekondigd dat ze zich dit jaar bezig zullen houden met supersymmetrie en donkere materie. De energieniveaus die door CERN dit jaar gehanteerd zullen worden, zijn daarom dan ook hoger dan ooit tevoren.
De wolken op de radar tonen een perfecte cirkel, maar er is geen bui gevallen.
Zijn de wetenschappers bij CERN er misschien in geslaagd om een dimensieportaal te openen? Het is dan ook niet voor niets dat ze hebben gezegd dat dit jaar het jaar zal worden waarin ze echt resultaten zullen bereiken.
Ook afgelopen december leek het er al op dat CERN erin was geslaagd om een dimensieportaal te openen, zoals wij schreven in het eerdere artikel:
Enkele dagen geleden zijn er nogal bijzonder beelden opgedoken waarbij een UFO schijnt te verdwijnen in een soort spiraalwolk, pal boven het CERN terrein in Geneve.
Ohja, CERN zegt dat de vorming van de cirkelvormige wolken niets met hen te maken heeft, maar dat het een probleem met de radar is. Tuurlijk.
En toch is er een verschil tussen de dimensieportalen zoals die door CERN worden gecreerd en het voorbeeld waarmee we dit artikel begonnen. In het geval van het echtpaar zien we een dimensieportaal waar via een soort trechter iets uit tevoorschijn komt wat lijkt op een UFO. Met andere woorden een daar op dat moment bewust gecreëerd portaal door entiteiten van buiten deze aarde om zo te kunnen reizen.
Iets dat al heel lang gebeurt, want zoals te zien op het volgende oude schilderij uit Roemenië, kwamen er ook in het verleden al via een soort slurf UFO’s uit dimensieportalen.

Als er geen maatregelen genomen worden om de opwarming van de aarde tegen te gaan, zullen delen van de wereld getroffen worden door extreme hittegolven die zelfs gezonde mensen na enkele uren kunnen doden. Dat blijkt uit nieuw onderzoek dat gepubliceerd werd in het wetenschappelijk vakblad Science Advances.
De wetenschappers onderzochten de impact van de klimaatverandering op de dodelijke combinatie van hitte en vochtigheid - iets wat gemeten wordt met de zogeheten natteboltemperatuur (WBT). ‘Als je op een warme zomerdag buiten een oppervlakte natspuit, dan wordt het daar tijdelijk heerlijk koel. Dat komt omdat het verdampende water warmte nodig heeft. Die warmte wordt onttrokken aan de lucht en dus wordt de lucht boven het natte oppervlak kouder. De laagste temperatuur die we bekomen tijdens de verdampingsfase noemen we de natteboltemperatuur’, zo legt weerman Frank Deboosere het fenomeen uit op zijn website.
Zes uur in de schaduw
Als de natteboltemperatuur 35 graden Celsius bereikt, dan kan het menselijk lichaam niet meer afkoelen door te zweten. ‘Zelfs fitte mensen die in de schaduw zitten zullen dan binnen de zes uur sterven’, zegt professor Elfatih Eltahir van het Massachusetts Institute of Technology, hoofdauteur van de studie.
Vooral het zuiden van Azië zou volgens de onderzoekers worden getroffen. ‘Driekwart van de bevolking (ongeveer 1,7 miljard mensen, nvdr.) - en meer bepaald de landbouwers in de valleien van de Ganges en de Indus - zullen tegen het eind van de eeuw blootgesteld worden aan een vochtige hitte die extreem gevaarlijk is voor de gezondheid’, zo luidt het.
Een Indiase man wandelt op de uitgedroogde bedding van het meer Ahmad Sar in Ahmedabad, in de Indiase deelstaat Gujarat.
‘Dit is een echt dilemma voor een land als India. De overheid probeert voor een economische boost te zorgen en de bevolking uit de armoede te halen, maar daardoor wordt heel wat koolstof uitgestoten en fossiele brandstoffen verbrand. En laat dat net de meest schadelijke zaken zijn. Voor India is klimaatopwarming al lang geen abstract idee meer, maar eerder een zaak op leven en dood.’
Zelfs vandaag vormen hittegolven al een groot risico voor Zuid-Azië. Een ernstige ‘episode’ in 2015 veroorzaakte al 3.500 doden in de regio en vorig jaar werd de hoogste temperatuur ooit gemeten in India: in de stad Phalodi werd het liefst 51 graden. Een andere recent verschenen studie linkte de impact van de klimaatopwarming nog aan de zelfmoorden van ongeveer 60.000 Indiase landbouwers.
Als er niet ingegrepen wordt - het ‘business as usual’-scenario waarin de koolstofuitstoot niet aan banden gelegd wordt - zal minstens 4 procent van de bevolking ‘minstens één keer’ zo’n dodelijke hittegolf ondergaan tussen 2071 en 2100. We are fascinated with prophecy, the end times, the second coming, the great awakening, Nostradamus, the list goes on, and there are few who can say they are generally not intrigued by the idea that our future can be foreseen or foretold. Even if the prophecy is surrounding a religion we might not necessarily believe in, it is still something that fascinates us.
Why? because in any great story, such as the story of humanity, we want to know how it ends. We all love a good spoiler, or would love to know that we are going in the right direction. There seems to be an engrained need within our nature to need to know that it is going to be alright in the end, no matter how dark things get.
Some seek to prepare for it, embrace it or fight against it and though there have been many prophecies that have failed to come to pass, it has not quenched our collective thirst for what is to come, only one of the many prophecies has to come true.
But what much of these prophecies have in common is the signal of a great change in direction for mankind, a path into darkness, war and despair that eventually leads to great change for the better. Whether brought about by the second coming of a religious deity, an event of some significant spiritual magnitude or a realisation on behalf of humanity that we have a responsibility to treat others equal to how we would want to be treated ourselves.
All point to a similar pattern.
One of the craziest things regarding prophecy is that many of them from different sources all point to a time around now, or from now in the future, and could not possibly be fulfilled until at least 100 years ago, as a lot of the pre-requisites simply did not exist until such time. It has only been since the advent of nuclear proliferation that mankind has been capable of self annihilation, only since the radio, television and now the internet have we had mass communication, we are now living in a time where the realisation of such prophecy is more possible than ever before.
Every day, more and more people are awakening to the truth, that religion is a control mechanism, our governments lie to us, our food and water is poisoned, and disease spreads suffering across the planet, caused only by the selfish need through greed to withhold cures, opting more for treatments, that keep those inflicted financially dependent on big corporations, for treatment through drugs with significantly damaging side effects. There is a battle raging throughout our race at this time, between good and evil, which is steadily but surely revealing the vary truth of our nature, our origins, our connection to our ancestors, and the truth about the nature of reality itself.
With all that being said, there are few prophecies more captivating to many than those written in the book of Revelations. There is just something about what is said in those texts that can captivate even the most anti religious people, even if it is by passive association, or vague knowledge of the meaning of the number 666,
So this is why during one of our Paranormal experiments we decided to ask, about the Second Coming. Not because we wanted to validate a religious doctrine but because we wanted to know that if there is any truth to the prophecy, how would it play out in a real world scenario?

So who are we communicating with?
This is the interesting question, as being Paranormal Investigators we were expecting to communicate with loved ones in the spirit world.
In this session we are using a ghost box device known as the SCD2, and have communicated with spirits yes, but also beings claiming to be of both an extraterrestrial and inter-dimensional nature as the videos below will evidence, all on the same night, all live on YouTube.
With evidence even to suggest that these entities are communicating with each other, and we always remain cautious in what we take on board, but during this session, the responses seem to be from those who have a profound love of humanity, and can see our highest potential and capacity for amazing things.

I am not religious in any way shape or form, but I understand the power of story, it is a defining element of what it is to be human in my opinion, and what I can agree with is the fact that we are living in a time where more and more people are asking the big questions, “Why am I here” “What is it all about” we are becoming more open, willing to wonder and daring to dream, to seek and find higher forms of consciousness and better ways of living our lives, even in many cases we don’t even realise we are doing it.
We have become more fascinated with the Paranormal, ghosts, spirits, psychics and mystics, conspiracies and UFOs even the more sceptical of us are having experiences they cannot explain, and the more religious among us are having their faith tested by experiences such as the Mandela Effect.
So what if the meaning of these responses is this, that in amongst this great awakening, humanity both individually and collectively is gradually accessing a great consciousness, an understanding of the impossible of which each and every one of us is capable. Something that has been hidden from us for eons that is now being revealed, as the literal translation of the word Apocalypse would suggest.
And what if, in amongst this potential, this awakening, felt by millions worldwide, one of us has the understanding, and the means to spread a message, so unique and profound that it transcends the barriers we place between one another, to offer us a choice, shall we explore this frontier together, or keep fighting amongst ourselves. Not to follow that person, or group of people or belief system, but to find that spark of light within ourselves, to fulfil our dreams and rediscover ourselves together?
Would that not be the miracle of miracles? A message, that could come from any one of us, that inspires us to realise that being human, is something to be cherished, something sacred, that no person can take away, once we step into our personal power, our ability to awaken and see the magnificence and beauty within ourselves reflected in each other, and through that we can do the most impossible things. This personally for me is what I believe these messages we have been receiving are trying to tell us, that when we speak our truth, and trust that higher voice within ourselves, there is no limit to the possibilities of where that may lead.

NASA is currently on the lookout for a candidate to take up an incredibly unusual and fascinating job role at that space agency, that of ‘planetary protection officer.' The primary role of this job, which comes with a considerable salary, is to coordinate the protection of the planet Earth from contamination from alien planets.
NASA PUBLICLY ADVERTISES FOR A NEW PLANETARY PROTECTION OFFICER
The position of planetary protection officer was first created in 1967 after the United States ratified the Outer Space Treaty. Article IX of the document which states that all missions to space must be carried out in full mindfulness of protecting the planet from potential contamination from alien worlds. For a space mission to be permitted, there must be less than a one in ten thousand chance that this kind of contamination could occur.
This means that the primary role of the planetary protection officer is to analyze the potential risks of contamination from space missions and to come up with measures to help to mitigate the risks. Mars is considered to be the most difficult and potentially problematic planet for the person in control of contamination to manage. It is believed that the Red Planet was once covered in a considerable body of water and that it might have once been the home of alien organisms. Scientists from NASA are very keen to collect fragments from the planet which might point to the existence of ancient alien life on Mars. The role of the planetary protection officer is to ensure that none of these samples have the potential to contaminate Earth once they are brought back to the planet.
Many space agencies across the world have planetary protection officers, but they tend to be shared roles. There are only two full-time planetary protection officers in the entire world, one based at NASA and the other based on the European Space Agency. To fulfill such a rare and specialized job, a very exceptional candidate is required. According to NASA, the successful candidate will have at least one year of experience at the top level of civilian government; they will have an advanced knowledge of planetary protection, diplomatic experience so that they can deal effectively with international space agencies and an advanced degree in either physical science, engineering or mathematics. After all of that, the candidate will have to undergo extensive security clearances.
At this current time, NASA’s planetary protection officer is Catharine Conley who has held the role since 2014. The role is held for three years at a time by one individual, although the contract can be extended. Conley has yet to make it clear whether she intends to reapply for her current job or to move on to a new area within the space agency.

The light could also have been used as a means of transportation from the UFO to the ground.

The UFO was filmed when Crowe and a friend set up a camera to capture fruit bats rising from the Botanical Gardens next to his office.

I am amazed not only about all the UFO pictures and videos being published on YouTube, but also on the variety of their shapes and sizes. It is as if the galaxy has come here to Earth on vacation to witness the unfolding and awaking of humans to ET existence.
How much is due to so many cell phone cameras out there, and how much is due to a gradual progression of human technology and awareness, I do not know; probably all of the above. Yet my sightings in the field during the 1990s were during the analog period of videos. As soon as film cameras were replaced by digital cameras, my sightings dried up in early 2000s.
What blows my mind is the diversity of craft being captured on video. I most of the UFOs expand our concepts of alien design from discs to triangles to diamonds. They have been followed by everything, including flying sinks, giant seahorses, and giant aliens. What is going on? I attach screen shots of this diversity. Lost Dead Sea Scrolls
In October 1999, another “lost” Dead Sea Scroll was unearthed that has the possibility of setting off another theological firestorm. If the “Angel Scroll” is proven to be authentic, Jews and Christians will be presented with a new understanding of how the ancient Israelites viewed God, the angels, and humanity’s place in the universe.
According to researcher Barry Chamish, “The Angel Scroll” is 1000 thousand lines long and had been taken by Benedictine monks to their German monastery in 1970. In 1977, one of the group, Father Gustav Mateus, died and bequeathed his photographs and transcriptions of the scroll to an unnamed Jerusalem college administrator, who, in turn, handed the material over to Stephan Phann, a member of the team of scholars translating the scrolls held by the Israeli government. Subsequently, Phann’s findings were published in the news magazine The Jerusalem Report.
In presenting the information, Phann admitted that some scholars were skeptical, but that most experts were in agreement that the text of “The Angel Scroll,” in his words “felt” genuine. The bits of the scroll that were released for the public’s examination deal with “divine chariot-throne themes with elaborate details of angels ascending heaven’s multiple gates.”
Such references may be of great interest to those who take a literal view of the biblical accounts reporting encounters with extraterrestrials/angels. An Israeli Ufologist, who is also a student of “Kabala,” Jewish mystical practices, Mordechai Spasser cautioned researchers about taking the “UFO viewpoint with more study.” Spasser stated that from what he had read, the scrolls appear to be referring to the “astral plane,” and other aspects of Jewish mysticism.
Writer Chamish, however, quotes a number of passages from “The Angel Scroll,” and follows them with his literal interpretation. Here is one, describing a visionary’s [or UFO contactees] “heavenward visit above the high places of the clouds”with anangel:
“According to the plan of that day, the Voice went forth to me and directed me and he drove me by the Spirit. And a vision was revealed to me from the Most High, and [the] Prince of Angels lifted me up in the Spirit and I ascended heavenward above the high places of the clouds and be showed me the great world and the image of the gods. And I pondered the appearance roundabout and there was no time and no place and their appearance from the dwelling places of light was like a rainbow in the clouds. And they had no bodies and no bodily structure and the dominion of darkness was over all of the earth round about.”
Chamish concludes that this is an accurate description of a trip in a Space Shuttle:
“First the traveler passes above cloud level…Then he sees the earth from space and it is surrounded by darkness. He is shown ‘images of the gods’ and their homes on a control monitor and marvels at the fine color quality and at the bizarre fact that there is no firmament to the images on the screen.”
It seems quite apparent that the Dead Sea Scrolls have only now begun to yield sources and inspiration and controversy for believers and non-believers alike.

Great Pyramid at Giza
The scholars claim the Great Pyramid at Giza was built by conventional methods, yet when I visited the site I was unable to insert my Visa card between the 15 ton blocks that were on the north face because they were built with great precision. This is certainly the one of largest structures ever built. New York’s Empire State Building is among the very highest erected by modern man, yet it is only about 2/5 the volume of the Cheops pyramid.
Let’s assume the pharaoh had all the men he needed to move the blocks. It would seem reasonable that they could move ten blocks a day since they had to be chopped out of granite quarries, dressed down to a thousandth of an inch, carried for hundreds of miles and raised up and placed at the correct level. The pyramid reached a height of 490 feet in the air and contains and incredible 2,600,000 stones that weigh 6 and million tons. The Cheops pyramid with a base 764 feet, and covers thirteen acres (an area almost equal to seven city blocks). The polished limestone facings (now removed) covered 22 acres. The building comprises totals 6,250,000 tons in weight (each stone is at least 2-1/2 tons). At a complete rate of ten stones a day each stone weighing at least three tons or more would take 250,000 days or six hundred and sixty years. Image dozens of Pharaohs generation after generation working seven days a week for 660 years to build the Great pyramid. There is one next to it almost as big. What is not generally realized there are two gigantic pyramids and one slightly smaller and three smaller ones.
My co-pilot was a graduate engineer visited the pyramids with me felt we could not build then this precise even today with our best equipment. Additionally the pyramids weight would cause them to sink into the ground through the years, but they still are standing high.
The Grand Gallery and King’s Chamber contains 70 ton blocks of rare, red granite formed into a roof deep inside the pyramid. This unusual granite comes from a quarry found 600 miles away. Egyptologists tell us wooden rollers or trees were used to move the 70 ton blocks. There are no forests in Egypt so the trees are a giant problem as well. So a mythical forest was used to move the blocks? To import the trees would require the greatest fleet of ships in history. Considering tugging these huge blocks of stone would quickly destroy most trees. If we assume a loss of ten rollers per block, we would need 26 million trees. Where did the ancients find the trees and how did they build a smooth enough road to drag the stones. Even upon reaching the building site the 70 ton stones had to be lifted hundreds of feet in the air to put them in place. I doubt even are biggest helicopters could lift stones of this size. Dr. M. K. Jessup a research scientist who constructed and operated the Southern hemisphere’s largest refracting telescope concluded the only possible method was visitors from space who wrote the “The Case for UFOs.” He simply states no power on Earth could have built the Great Pyramid and huge stone structures around the world. That the lifting engine was most likely a huge spaceship.
Covering the “King’s Chamber” are granite slabs of 60 to 70 tons each, brought from a quarry 600 miles away. The casing stones (which are still in place on the north face near the base) each weigh 15 tons. The supposition that enormous manpower, inclined planes and rollers were used must be discarded. To handle or move one of the blocks might require a thousand hands (500 men), for whom there would not have been room around the stone. (Assuming the use of primitive methods, the block must still be handled, even if only to pass ropes under it, or to load it onto a barge.)
Furthermore, engineers have estimated that a ramp to service the Cheops pyramid would finally have had to be a mile long, with a volume of masonry four times greater than the pyramid itself. No, that’s not how they built it.
Do you know why air plane pilots are warned not to fly over Egypt’s Great Pyramid? That’s right; the Civil Airline Department has banned all planes from flying over the pyramids. The largest structure at Giza, in Egypt, is the Cheops pyramid. An energy field radiates from the apex, which prompts the discovery of electrical contacts and wiring inside the Great Pyramid, along with markings that show how to connect them, do not fit anywhere in conventional Egyptology but confirm the theory first published in his book, “The Giza Power Plant:” Technologies of Ancient Egypt by engineer Christopher Dunn, wonder why it was built. The mass of evidence suggests that the major pyramids were not intended to be tombs.
There are strong signals coming from the pyramid that can effect aircraft instruments.
The pyramid is perfectly square to within 3/10,000 percent. Although it is constructed of 2,300,000 great blocks put together without any cement, you still can’t get the thinnest blade of a knife between them. The joints of the original limestone casings are barely perceptible, not wider than the thickness of silver paper. One of today’s biggest U.S. contractors has stated that we do not possess any machine capable of making equally smooth surfaces as those connecting the stones of the pyramids. They were fitted to an accuracy of 1/100 inch. The pyramid is level over an area of 13 acres to within half an inch. It is the world’s most accurately aligned building, true north.
• Originally this pyramid had a beautiful covering of glistening white marble polished to a mirror like finish reflecting the light. It was capped by a golden point that shot shafts of light back at the sun. In a search for hidden powers and riches, Melik al Aziz, in 1196, employed thousands of workers to pull down the three Giza pyramids stone by stone removing the outside marble.
The pyramid incorporates higher mathematics in its very design, and advanced scientific knowledge in its measurements. The relationship of the pyramid’s height to the perimeter of its base is the same as that between the radius and circumference of a circle. It thus incorporates the mathematical value known as pi (the constant by which the diameter of a circle. • It served also as a calendar by which the length of the year can be measured to the exact minute. And it was as an observatory from which maps of the stellar hemisphere could be accurately drawn. • It is so finely aligned to the North Pole that modern compasses can be adjusted to it.
The measurements of its sides and angles accurately reflect the geographic measurements of the northern hemisphere, such as the degree of latitude and longitude, the circumference and radius of the earth even accounting for polar flattening. But more amazingly, the Egyptian cubit—the unit of measurement used in the pyramid—was found to be exact. In other words, the cubit fits into the dimensions of the earth within five decimal places a rather startling coincidence. This knowledge of the Earth requires satellite or aerial reconnaissance of the Earth.
The pyramid builders were highly advanced in their technology. Attempts to build pyramids using the orthodox methods theorized for the ancient Egyptians, have fallen pitifully short. The Great Pyramid is 483 feet high and houses seventy-ton pieces of granite lifted to a level of 175 feet. Theorists have struggled with stones weighing up to two tons to a height of a few feet. One wonders if these were attempts to prove that primitive methods are capable of building the Egyptian pyramids or the opposite. Attempts to execute such conventional theories have not revealed the theories to be correct! Do we need to revise the theory, or will we continue to educate our young with erroneous data?
In August 1984, an article by Christopher Dunn in Analog Magazine entitled “Advanced Machining in Ancient Egypt?” based on The Pyramids and Temples of Gizeh, by Sir William Flinders Petrie, published in 1883. Since that article’s publication, I have been fortunate to visit Egypt twice. With each visit I leave with more respect for the industry of the ancient pyramid builders. An industry, by the way, that does not exist anywhere in the world today.
In 1986, Christopher Dunn visited the Cairo museum and gave a copy of his article, and a business card, to the director. He thanked me kindly, then threw my offering into a drawer with other sundry stuff, and turned away. Another Egyptologist led Dunn to the “tool room” to educate hin in the methods of the ancient masons by showing me a few cases that housed primitive copper tools. Dunn writes, I asked my host about the cutting of granite, as this was the focus of my article. He explained how a slot was cut in the granite and wooden wedges, soaked with water, were inserted. The wood swelled creating pressure that split the rock. This still did not explain how copper implements were able to cut granite, but he was so enthusiastic with his dissertation, I chose not to interrupt.
Dunn was musing over a statement made by Egyptologist Dr. I.E.S. Edwards in “Ancient Egypt” (National Geographic Society, Washington, 1978). Edwards said that to cut the granite, “axes and chisels were made of copper hardened by hammering.” This is like saying “to cut this aluminum saucepan they fashioned their knives out of butter!”
My host animatedly walked me over to a nearby travel agent encouraging me to buy plane tickets to Aswan, “where” he said, “the evidence is clear. I must see the quarry marks there and the unfinished obelisk.” Dutifully, I bought the tickets and arrived at Aswan the next day.
The Aswan quarries were educational. The obelisk weighs approximately 3,000 tons. However, the quarry marks Dunn saw there did not satisfy him as being the only means by which the pyramid builders quarried their rock. Located in the channel, which runs the length of the obelisk, is a large hole drilled into the bedrock hillside, measuring 12 inches in diameter and three feet deep. The hole was drilled at an angle with the top intruding into the channel space. The ancients must have used drills to remove material from the perimeter of the obelisk, knocked out the webs between the holes and then removed the cusps. The conventional wisdom states that the obelisks were pounded out with stone pounders but that’s not the case. Dunn believes that the Ancient Egyptians inherited this site and tried to replicate the techniques and marks they found there by using the only tools that they possessed – stone pounders. The most difficult operation is the bottom cut that was not accomplished.
While strolling around the Giza Plateau later, Dunn started to question the quarry marks at Aswan even more. (He also questioned why the Egyptologist had deemed it necessary to buy a plane ticket to look at them.) He was to the south of the second pyramid when he found an abundance of quarry marks of similar nature. The granite casing stones, which had sheathed the second pyramid, were stripped off and lying around the base in various stages of destruction. Typical to all of the granite stones worked on were the same quarry marks that Dunn had seen at Aswan earlier in the week. These marks were not made with copper or stone pounders. They appear to be advanced technology
This discovery confirmed Dunn’s suspicion of the validity of Egyptologists’ theories on the ancient pyramid builders’ quarrying methods. If these quarry marks distinctively identify the people who created the pyramids, why would they engage in such a tremendous amount of extremely difficult work only to destroy their work after having completed it? It seems, to me, that these kinds of quarry marks were from a later period of time and were created by people who were interested only in obtaining granite. You can see demonstrations of primitive stone cutting in Egypt if you go to Saqqara.
There are hundreds of pyramids worldwide in virtually every continent and many at the bottom of the ocean underwater indicating their great age. Most are made of various types of rock, such as granite that is often mined hundreds of miles away. They are huge magnificent structures thousands of years old that are generally claimed to be 3,000 to 25,000 years old. All over the world, later rulers copied the older pyramids. Some of the ancient pyramids often still have energy emitting from them and are thought to be power stations. Many are built on an exact North South axis and advanced technological knowledge was used in building them.
Dr. Sam Osmanagich Ph.D. director of Center for Anthropology and Archaeology at the American University in Bosnia has authored 11 books about ancient civilizations. He claims many Pyramids are 10,000 to 25,000 years old and built well before humankind was sophisticated, or had agriculture, or cities. The question is did ancient civilizations build them or are ancient aliens responsible for a worldwide pyramid construction system?
The world’s best-known pyramid at Giza is just outside Cairo, Egypt. The Great Pyramid is the large one on the right and the others were built later. The oldest Chinese and Egyptian pyramids are much superior to those made later. Older pyramids are built from granite and sandstone blocks, more recent ones are much smaller built from bricks and mud. Traces of more advanced beings who were likely alien are everywhere around us. In the meantime, mainstream scientists try to fit those monuments into their time coordinates. Hundreds of pyramids are being found all over the Earth including those under the sea like the three found off the coast of Florida. It is apparent that ancient aliens or an ancient previous sophisticated civilization existed on Earth as depicted in ancient texts. According to Herodotus, 100,000 people built Khufu’s Great Pyramid – more than the population of any city at the time. Science tells us humans were not sophisticated, slightly above cave men in ancient times. Originally, this pyramid had a beautiful covering of glistening white marble (polished to a mirror like finish) and could he seen for 50 miles, reflecting the light. It was capped by a golden point or ball that shot shafts of light back at the sun. It incorporates the mathematical value known as pi (the constant by which the diameter of a circle may be multiplied to calculate its circumference and it does so accurately to several decimal places. Its main chamber made use of several Pythagorean functions not “discovered” supposedly until thousands of years later.”

Incredible Ancient Precision: But Was ET There?
Part of the megalithic boxes, the 30-ton lids were made of the same blocks of stone. Upon discovery, some of these were blown open with the aid of gunpowder, only to find the inside of these giant boxes empty. Researchers have no idea what their actual purpose is now how these giant boxes were assembled thousands of years ago.
The question that the existence of these boxes raises is whether ancient Egyptians built these boxes as memorial tombs for the Apis bulls, and if so, how come no remains were found? Even though scientists believed that Ancient Egyptian mummies were all our DNA, they were wrong. A new study has revealed fascinating—and totally unexpected—results. According to reports, the first ever full-genome analysis of Ancient Egyptian mummies has shown that they were more Turkish and European than Africa. Experts studied ancient DNA from Egyptian mummies from around 1400 BC to around 400 AD finding that they shared genes with people who originate from the Mediterranean.
Experts discovered that ancient Egyptian mummies were closely related to ancient people in the Levant, modern-day Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Israel and Lebanon. The discovery has come as a surprise to many experts.
The sequencing success, reported in Nature Communications, “finally proves to everyone that there’s DNA preserved in ancient Egyptian mummies,” says Albert Zink, a biological anthropologist at the Institute for Mummy Studies in Bolzano, Italy.
According to sciencemag.org, he participated in a 2010 study that identified DNA sequences from 16 ancient Egyptian royal mummies, including Tutankhamen. But that study used polymerase chain reaction, a method that efficiently finds and extracts targeted DNA fragments but cannot always reliably distinguish between ancient DNA and modern contamination.
Note: Miles long tunnels exist beneath the surface of Egypt with perfectly smooth walls built many thousands of years ago by advanced technology that we are unable to reproduce today. What causes ancient lights to automatically switch on or off in some of the tunnels?

I was 4 years old in 1966, when I began speaking about my imaginary friend, Tony Smithenhouser. Tony was very, very tall with long arms and was an engineer on the railroad. I lost touch with Tony somewhere around 12. In 1986 and I was taking care of my mother, who had terminal breast cancer and my bedroom flooded as the wind pushed the rainwater over the foundation and into my bedroom.
I felt a presence enter my room from outside and heard communication within my thoughts of a musical sound. I turned and saw two beings hovering above the floor of my room. Their skin was pearlescent, and glowed white. Their heads were hairless and their skull only slightly larger in width than ours would be. Their communication was in musical tones that I somehow understood. One was taller and both were wearing a flowing very white gown. The taller being asked me to trust it. The smaller being outstretched its four long fingers hand, no thumbs. My hand reached out to inches apart, when my body is elevated and we were hovering at the doorway. We moved effortlessly, slowly hovering above the ground. I was asked to look towards our field at a ship that was hovering with beings standing in formation as we glided toward the craft. It was familiar, as though I was once again with Tony Smithenhouser. I remember waking up in my bed, with muddy shoes at 3:33am. I felt panic and I knew it happened. I have a calling now to photograph the skies. Last night I captured orbs, spheres and a worm like craft. I have a genetic mutation disease called S.A.P.H.O. Syndrome that came on suddenly in 2006, but 82 specialists from Stanford to UCLA have no explanation or treatment. Now I use energy and vibration therapy to help. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Boca Raton— Six balls of light crossed the night sky over our neighborhood at random intervals of time on July 23, 2017. From 9 to 9:19 pm, the balls of light were red and orange all traveling across the night sky and all flickered and died out in the same vicinity. The balls of light were brighter, higher, and larger heading north, on the same line. They moved quickly with a consistent spherical shape with no tail. The entire event lasted about 20 minutes. Pine Mountain — I was traveling (passenger), north on I-185 in west central Georgia, around 1:30 am. With my iPhone, I was taking pics of the clouds illuminated by the moon on April 19, 2017. I took 45 pics, and saw only beautiful clouds. In the morning I was going through the pics, and was shocked to see some type of craft in two of the pics. It’s shaped similar to our stealth bombers.

Arnold — I came outside for a smoke in early morning when it was still fairly dark out and there were neither stars not moon visible on July 20, 2017. I spotted a single white light about the size and brightness of a star moving south. It was a single white light moving too quickly and too bright to be a satellite. I ran into the street to keep the object in view. By the time I reached the street as it stopped and hovered there for about thirty minutes. Eventually a cloud bank obscured it and when it cleared the object was gone. I used my sister’s phone to snap some photos. New Jersey Star
My brother and I were outside, when we noticed what we thought to a bright star in the sky on July 16, 2017. It was a shiny speck. We both ran inside and grabbed my camera, which had a 250x zoom lens with 18 megapixels. We took 4 photos. We went back inside to look at the pictures, and in awe we realized they were shaped oddly and had pipes. It wasn’t a star at all. New York Object
East Village Manhattan — I was at my local Gym in NYC doing Pilates on my mat, starting out the large windows when a large cylinder shaped UFO appeared in sky on July 16, 2017. It was moving towards the east overhead rotating with 4 lights on one side. They would only show on that side after it made a full rotation. Three of four small sphere type UFOs were blipping in and out around it following it. This thing was clear as day of what I saw and it looked exactly like the UFO that was filmed in UK. This thing had to be hundreds of feet long. I viewed it for over 5 minutes and then after it all passed overhead I was not able to view it any longer. I have video and photos. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Oregon Lights
Portland— We first saw one of them moving toward us from the south on June 30, 2017. It stopped and hovered over central Portland for a while until four helicopters approached them from all directions and surrounded it. A black military helicopter approached and joined the others in a circle around them after a few minutes. All of the helicopters flew off in different directions while the military helicopter flew off and landed on the federal building downtown. AUSTIN — We’re not sure this is anything other than an anomaly on July 19. 2017. We’re asking what you think? It didn’t move and no lights were observed. It was the only cloud in an otherwise brilliant blue sky.
Just a very strange shape for a cloud and then I started to notice the twin gray shapes near the bottom of the cloud. It’s just an android phone cam so it’s not a very high resolution. Thanks to MUFON CMS
West Virginia Lights
St. Albans– I couldn’t sleep, went out to front porch to drink coffee on July 25, 2017, and saw three stars close together. I took a great pic on my cell phone of a triangular object. In the photo was with a tether that was oblong, Two other identical tethers were sticking out from left side of craft. It was stationary for about 90 minutes. There was a short burst of a contrail that didn’t seem to affect its position. It wasn’t anything I’d seen before and I am in awe. Found other sightings describing the EXACT object I saw, tether and all. I can’t find any pic on your site that shows any detail. If it’s ours it’s the best kept secret. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Parana — During July 27th, 2017) around 7:00AM I was driving taking my wife to her work when we saw in the east a massive shining object. We stopped at the coordinates 25º44’54″S 53º03’15″W and looked to East where the object was. We observed it for at least 5 minutes and it was hovering. Its shape was kind of a big Cigar, like a missile floating in the sky. Apparently it was reflecting the sun’s light. It was shining a powerful white bright light and when it started to move towards sunrise leaving a trail. Rocky Point/Sandy Beach— My wife and I noticed a glowing orange star like object moving slowly for a few minutes and then vanished around 10:30 pm PST. It was neither a plane nor a balloon. I’ve never seen anything like that. Yes, there have been repeated daylight sightings of pterodactyls in Mexico. One interesting thing is that they all were daylight sightings. Humacao — Five objects to the southeast were observed on July 5, 2017. One of them constantly represented an inverted cross red light which scared m, since I do not know if it represents some sort of warning.

Barmouth Beach — Walking my dog on Barmouth Beach, my son took some photos and after uploading them to the computer I noticed this orb like object on several of them on July 29, 2015.

Who says there are no good jobs available? Its only Planetary Protection Officer (and one of only two in the world) is moving on and this great six-figure job is available for the right person. Could that be you? “Planetary protection is concerned with the avoidance of organic-constituent and biological contamination in human and robotic space exploration. NASA maintains policies for planetary protection applicable to all space flight missions that may intentionally or unintentionally carry Earth organisms and organic constituents to the planets or other solar system bodies, and any mission employing spacecraft, which are intended to return to Earth and its biosphere with samples from extraterrestrial targets of exploration. That sounds like a big job for just one person, but Catherine Conley has been NASA’s planetary protection officer since 2014 and she must be doing a good job because we haven’t been contaminated since then … have we? In fact, the only reason the position is available is bureaucracy — the position is being moved to a different department and that requires opening it up for a new person … including Catherine Conley, who can reapply. And she would be wise to. Where else can you get paid between $124,406 to $187,000 a year to protect Earth from aliens, other than in the European Space Agency?
The Planetary Protection Officer does not have the authority to call out the Air Force
The biggest part of being a Planetary Protection Officer is protecting other planets from contamination by our space probes and protecting us from what returning probes might bring back. The Outer Space Treaty of 1967 created the necessity for the position:
“States Parties to the Treaty shall pursue studies of outer space, including the moon and other celestial bodies, and conduct exploration of them so as to avoid their harmful contamination and also adverse changes in the environment of the Earth resulting from the introduction of extraterrestrial matter and, where necessary, shall adopt appropriate measures for this purpose.”
Despite being paid up to $187,000, the Planetary Protection Officer doesn’t have to be perfect. In an interview with Business Insider, Conley said her target is to insure that Earth probes have a less than 1-in-10,000 chance of contaminating other celestial bodies. In that respect, this sounds more like an actuary at an insurance company. Conley traveled to space labs building equipment for missions and determined the probability of an orbiting probe photographing a planet’s surface suddenly crashing to the surface.

A bigger job is to protect Earth from contamination on so-called “sample return missions” like those planned for Mars. Conley has been helping to set up protocols and procedures to reduce the risks that Martian dirt will harm scientists or escape from the lab and kill us all.
If you think this is the job for you, get out your résumé and make sure it includes a degree in “physical science, engineering, or mathematics that included 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science such as mechanics, dynamics, properties of materials, and electronics” or equivalent experience. You must also have “experience planning, executing, or overseeing elements of space programs of national significance” and skills in “diplomacy that resulted in win-win solutions during extremely difficult and complex multilateral discussions.” You know, like negotiating with alien leaders to keep their filthy spaceships off of our pristine planet.

Well, my most recent article here at Mysterious Universe – “Are UFO Abductees Being Secretly Watched?” – provoked some interesting Facebook comments and messages – and emails, too. Some people were supportive of the theory that there is clandestine and widespread surveillance of alien abductees. Some even shared their stories with me on their own experiences. Others, meanwhile, considered the whole thing to be a bunch of nonsense born out of hoaxing and fantasizing. But, that latter category of people forget something important. In fact, they forget something very important. Or, maybe, they’re not even aware of what I’m about to state now.
Long before the alien abductees were on the scene, there were the Contactees – those people who, predominantly in the 1950s and the 1960s, claimed face to face contact with human-looking aliens, and who were concerned by our growing nuclear arsenals and the reckless ways in which we were exploiting the Earth and its inhabitants. They made grave and dire warnings of what would happen if we didn’t curb our warlike ways: a radioactive nightmare and the end of civilization would be the only inevitable outcomes. As an aside, given the way things are going right now in the world, they just might have had a point. But, there is something else too; something which has deep relevancy to the matter of someone – or some agency of government, the military, or the Intelligence community – spying on those who have undergone the abduction experience.
Just about all of the Contactees of the fifties and the sixties were watched secretly, carefully and closely by the FBI. George Adamski’s FBI file reveals that the Bureau was concerned by two things: (A) Adamski’s claims that his long-haired “Space Brothers” and “Space Sisters” were probably communist in nature; and (B) Adamski’s ability to influence lots of people (his 1953 book, Flying Saucers Have Landed – co-authored with Desmond Leslie – was a huge seller). George Van Tassel was secretly watched too: his FBI file is extensive and covers the early 1950s to the middle part of the 1960s. He also talked about the politics of the aliens, as well as how he was reportedly told by his space-buddies that many of our major religions were born out of visits from ancient astronauts.
Contactee George Hunt Williamson had an FBI dossier opened on him, as did Frank Stranges, of Stranger at the Pentagoninfamy. Truman Bethurum – the man who lusted after hot and curvy space-babe Aura Rhanes – was watched. As was Orfeo Angelucci. Moving across the pond, in the late 1950s the British Police Force’s Special Branch opened a file on the Contactee-driven Aetherius Society. It was chiefly because the group often talked about the perils of atomic weapons – and to audiences of people who listened very closely to what was being said. It’s clear from the files referred to above that the relevant agencies did not believe the tales that the Contactees were telling. But, when it comes to their particular stories, that wasn’t the point. The point was that that the Contactees were saying a great deal of controversial things – and a lot of people listening to what they had to say were nodding their heads eagerly and in agreement. That’s what specifically had the FBI concerned.
Alien spacecraft is hovering abpve the meadow
Much the same can be said about today’s alien abductees. Namely, that more than a few books on the subject have sold very well. In many of those same books the bug-eyed Grays have warned those who have been abducted about the perils of nuclear war, of the destruction of the rain-forests, of the collapse of the ozone-layer, of the decline of the human race and…well, you get the picture. Just like the Contactees of yesteryear, the alien abductees of today – and particularly those who lecture and write articles and books – are in prime positions to potentially influence many.
Had there not been widespread surveillance of the Contactees in the 1950s and the 1960s, I might be inclined to dismiss some of the accounts of government agencies watching the abductees today. But, the FBI’s surveillance of the Contactees went on for years. Voluminous files were created. Special-Agents of the FBI sat in the audiences at Van Tassel’s and Adamski’s lectures – as the now-declassified files show. They even visited Van Tassel at his Giant Rock, California home, and on several occasions.
In light of all this – namely, the political/nuclear//end-of-the-world issues that led the FBI to keep a careful and clandestine watch on the Contactees – it doesn’t seem strange to me at all that what was going on in the 1950s with Adamski & Co. has its very own modern-day equivalent: the surveillance of the abductees.

Over de hele wereld worden meldingen gedaan van nooit opgeloste gevallen van veeverminking, schrijft persbureau Sputnik.
De FBI heeft sinds de jaren zeventig in de VS alleen al duizenden gevallen onderzocht, maar is sindsdien niet veel wijzer geworden.
Met name boeren uit staten als South Dakota, Colorado, Kansas en Nevada treffen al decennialang koeien aan waarbij met de grootst mogelijke precisie organen zijn verwijderd.
Raadsel
Zelfs de knapste koppen stonden voor een raadsel, blijkt uit de stukken. In veel gevallen worden vaartuigen – helikopters of UFO’s – gemeld op plekken waar later dode koeien worden gevonden.
Sommigen denken om die reden dat de overheid het in de doofpot probeert te stoppen of dat aliens er verantwoordelijk voor zijn.
Sinds 1955 zijn er ruim 10.000 gevallen gemeld en in geen enkel geval kon een dader worden aangewezen.
Patroon
Chuck Zukowski van UFOnut.com doet al tientallen jaren onderzoek naar deze raadselachtige gebeurtenissen.
Hij stelt dat er sprake is van een patroon: een dier wordt overgebracht van locatie A naar locatie B, waar het wordt ontdaan van bloed en ongewone sneden in het lichaam worden gemaakt.
Voorts gaat het lichaam naar locatie C, die zich over het algemeen dicht bij locatie A bevindt.
Niet-menselijke bron
“Dit gebeurt al honderden jaren. Zelfs de inheemse Amerikanen kennen verhalen over veeverminking, nog voor de tijd dat Europeanen naar Noord-Amerika migreerden,” zei hij.
Volgens Zukowski wijst het bewijs sterk in de richting van een niet-menselijke bron.
In de meeste gevallen die hij heeft onderzocht zagen getuigen lichtbollen in het gebied waar dieren werden gevonden, en in sommige gevallen zelfs ruimteschepen.
‘Absoluut niet!’
Hij meent dat de ongemarkeerde helikopters die worden gezien erop wijzen dat de Amerikaanse overheid zelf ook onderzoek doet naar het fenomeen.
Op de vraag of hier een alledaagse verklaring voor kan zijn antwoordde Zukowski: “Absoluut niet!”
Hij zei dat hij ook meldingen heeft gekregen uit Australië, Nieuw-Zeeland, de Dominicaanse Republiek en Groot-Brittannië.
Het lijkt op een sciencefiction film, maar niets in minder waar, want de nieuwe Facebook robots hebben een eigen taal ontwikkeld die voor de programmeurs niet meer te volgen is.
Als robots in staat zijn om dit te doen, dan doemt er een ander schrikbeeld op en dat is dat ze dan ook een soort bewustzijn hebben.
Er heeft zich iets werkelijk alarmerends voorgedaan en de vraag is of de mensheid dit beseft, of dat men gewoon doorgaat met levensgevaarlijke experimenten.
Elon Musk blijft mensen iedere keer weer verbazen, niet alleen met zijn nieuwe uitvindingen en plannen, maar ook met hoe hij over bepaalde dingen denkt.
Zo denkt dat hij dat er een kans is van één op de miljard dat wij NIET in een computersimulatie leven, een beetje zoals wij beschreven in een eerder artikel “Is God een IT specialist?”.
En dan is het natuurlijk één ding dat wij als mensen leven in die computersimulatie, maar zoals de ontwikkelingen er nu uit zien, kan binnen die computersimulatie de leidende rol wel eens worden overgenomen door robots.
In een toespraak vorige week begon Elon Musk opeens over het grote gevaar dat hij ziet en dat is dat overheden niets doen om AI (Artificial Intelligence) te reguleren. Dit is volgens hem broodnodig omdat er een groot gevaar bestaat dat het met kunstmatige intelligentie zoals robots volledig uit de hand kan gaan lopen.
Hij zegt dat mensen waarschijnlijk pas in actie zullen komen als ze robots zien die door de straten gaan en mensen doden. Mensen doen helemaal niets omdat het voor hen zo onbegrijpelijk is allemaal.
Maar, zo stelt, hij: “Als wij nu niet proactief dit soort dingen gaan reguleren in plaats van reactief, dan kan het wel eens te laat zijn”. Musk ziet AI als een fundamenteel risico voor het voortbestaan van de mensheid en maakt zich daarover dan ook veel zorgen.
En alsof hij op zijn wenken wordt bediend, verschijnt gisteren het volgende bericht in de Telegraaf:
Facebook heeft de bouw van slimme zelfdenkende robots vroegtijdig moeten afbreken. De robots in kunstmatige intelligentie bleken illegaal hun eigen taaltje te hebben ontwikkeld.
Dat hebben bronnen binnen Facebook tegenover technologieblog Tech Times gemeld.
De robots moesten zelf vervolgstappen in de programmeertaal bedenken voor apparaten. Ze kwamen echter vanuit het niets met een coderingstaal waar het Facebook-personeel weinig tegen kon doen maar ook niet begreep.
De robots gingen door de grenzen van wat programmeurs vooraf als norm hadden vastgesteld. Het taaltje tussen de robots kregen Facebook-programmeurs niet voldoende beperkt, waarop het project tijdelijk werd stilgelegd, aldus het blog.
De robots begonnen in het Engels, maar bedachten daarna de eigen taal die voor de softwaremakers totaal niet te volgen zou zijn geweest.
De sociale mediareus steekt momenteel miljarden in kunstmatige intelligentie, bijvoorbeeld voor besturing van zelfrijdende auto’s. Vanaf juni was bekend dat de zogeheten dialogue agents een eigen taal ontwikkelden.
De robots bleken voor programmeurs ,,ongelooflijke sterke onderhandelaars”, melden de bronnen tegen Tech Times.
Het probleem blijkt enkele dagen nadat topman Elon Musk van de zelfrijdende batterijautomaker Tesla meldde dat het begrip bij topman Mark Zuckerberg van Facebook van kunstmatige intelligentie maar zeer beperkt is.
Facebook reageert niet op het bericht, maar doet dat zelden op dergelijke ontwikkelproblemen.
Eerder waarschuwden experts in kunstmatige intelligentie zoals hoogleraar Stephen Hawkings voor de te grote macht van de zelfdenkende robots.
Elon Musk hamert al langer op ’het grootste gevaar voor de mensheid’. Zuckerberg noemde die zorgen recent onnodig en onverantwoord.
Het bovenstaande is zo ingrijpend dat het onze wereld letterlijk op zijn kop kan zetten.
Als robots, zonder dat ze daartoe geprogrammeerd zijn, in staat blijken om zelf een eigen onafhankelijke taal te creëren die voor niemand anders te begrijpen is, dan betekent dit dat er een bepaalde mate van bewustzijn aanwezig is in die robots.
Het duidt op een bepaalde mate van intelligentie, intentie, efficiëntie en bewustzijn.
Waarmee we dan op een punt zijn aanbeland waarbij blijkt dat je dus bewustzijn in een robot kunt stoppen.
Is het dan een zaak dat bewustzijn misschien inderdaad niet is verbonden aan een bepaald individu, maar overal aanwezig is en dat dit bewustzijn als het ware ook te vangen in dit soort apparaten?
Of is het een zaak dat zielen die reïncarneren op aarde hiervoor verschillende voertuigen kunnen gebruiken zolang er maar een bepaalde rekenmachine, een kwantumcomputer zoals onze hersenen, aan is gekoppeld zodat het kan denken, voelen en ervaren? Dat men voor reïncarnatie normaal gesproken een menselijk lichaam gebruikt, maar dat er ook zielen zijn die net zo lief reïncarneren in het metalen lichaam van een robot?
Of zoals iemand uit onze omgeving zei: “Als ik mag kiezen tussen mijn lichaam of een robotlichaam als ik hetzelfde ervaar en kan? Doe dan maar een robotlichaam.”
Kunnen mensen die straks heel erg ziek zijn hun complete bewustzijn inclusief geheugen uploaden naar een computer om dat dan vervolgens te downloaden in een robotlichaam?
Duidelijk is wel dat Mark Zuckerberg druk doende is een doos van Pandora te openen.
En wie weet was Pandora uit de Griekse mythologie ook wel een robot, want ze werd tenslotte in een werkplaats gemaakt.

NASA is looking to hire a planetary protection officer, a person who will lead the agency's efforts to keep its spacecraft and astronauts from contaminating worlds with life-forms that don't belong there.
NASA officials have stressed that keeping Earth clean — of alien microbes that could arrive here in a sample-return capsule, for example — is the highest priority, but the responsibility applies to all celestial objects that agency spacecraft visit.
"NASA maintains policies for planetary protection applicable to all spaceflight missions that may intentionally or unintentionally carry Earth organisms and organic constituents to the planets or other solar system bodies, and any mission employing spacecraft which are intended to return to Earth and its biosphere with samples from extraterrestrial targets of exploration," NASA officials wrote in a job description. "This policy is based on federal requirements and international treaties and agreements."
So the job checks the making-a-difference box. The pay is good, too; the stated salary range is $124,406 to $187,000. And if you're after a challenge, you'll almost certainly get it.
The topic of planetary protection is generating more and more discussion these days as NASA works on getting (microbe-laden) astronauts to Mars and sending robotic probes to potentially habitable worlds, such as Jupiter's ocean-harboring moon Europa. (The agency is scheduled to launch a Europa flyby mission in the 2020s, and Congress has instructed NASA to put a lander down on the moon's icy surface as well.)
Such plans have spurred debate within the spaceflight community, with some exploration advocates stressing that planetary-protection concerns could hinder the effort to put boots on Mars and hunt for life on the Red Planet.

The responsibilities of the role include protecting Earth from extraterrestrials and aliens. The job basically includes preventing biological and organic contamination of alien worlds by humans and robots while carrying out space explorations.
Planetary protection officers have been employed by various space agencies for part time roles but NASA and ESA will hire full-time employees, as revealed by Business Insider report.
The job description for planetary protection officer posted on USAJobs.gov reveals that the employee should focus on "avoidance of organic-constituent and biological contamination in human and robotic space exploration".
The main concern of this job is to save the environment of Earth from being polluted by extraterrestrial matter from space missions.
"If we're going to look for life on Mars, it would be really kind of lame to bring Earth life and find that instead," said Catharine Conley, who has served as NASA's sole planetary protection officer since 2014, according to New York Times report.
The process to hire a planetary protection officer is difficult and requires an advanced degree in math or science along with an experience in planning as well as carrying out space programs. Possessing good skills in diplomacy is another crucial requirement of this job in order to handle extremely difficult and complex multilateral discussions.
The Outer Space Treaty – which was approved by the US in 1967 -- led to the origin of the planetary protection concept and planetary protection role. As part of the international agreement, any space mission must have less than a 1-in-10,000 chance of contaminating an alien world.
The invasion is nigh! You knew it would happen eventually — that the Roswell aliens would not only turn out to be real, but that they'd one day return to finish their job of Earthly conquest. Now, NASA, which was surely part of the conspiracy of silence for the last sixty years, has come clean, announcing the creation of the new position of Planetary Protection Officer. It's a sweet gig, actually, paying up to $187,000 per year. That makes for a pretty big pot of disposable income — at least until, you know, the world ends.
Actually, however, you can sound the all clear: The planetary protection job is real, though its purpose is only partly to save Earthlings from the ravages of alien life forms (and by life forms we mean microbes, not green guys). A bigger part of the job is to protect aliens from us — the real bad guys.
Human beings have long hoped to find life in space and we may not have to look far. In our solar system alone, there are at least five worlds other than Earth that, thanks to the presence of water, may have the conditions to support biology: Mars, Jupiter's moons Europa and Ganymede, Saturn's moon Enceladus and Pluto. The problem is, discovering and recovering that life requires sending robot probes or even human beings out to explore. Robots could contain trace bacteria, viruses or other biological contaminants from Earth, and a human being is nothing but one gigantic, walking contaminant.
If an earthly organism got loose in an otherwise pristine place, two problematic things could happen: The contamination would make it impossible to know for sure if any organism you detected was native to the planet or a stowaway. Worse, if alien life did exist, Earth bugs could contaminate its environment and perhaps even prove to be lethal.
In-bound contamination — the space-to-Earth variety — has, of course, always been what worries us more. When astronauts from the first three Apollo moon landings returned to Earth, they were kept in quarantine for three weeks to ensure that they had not picked up any lunar bugs. That was unlikely given that the moon is an airless, waterless, and thus likely sterile place. But in fact there was a bit of a scare.
When the Apollo 12 crew returned to earth, they brought back a camera from the unmanned Surveyor 3 spacecraft that had landed on the moon two and a half years earlier. NASA scientists examined the camera and to their surprise, discovered a small, viable colony of strep bacteria deep inside. It was possible—though exceedingly improbable—that strep was endemic to the moon. Much more likely, the bugs had been carried aboard the Surveyor and had somehow survived their time in the lunar environment. Later analysis revealed that neither scenario was the right one: the camera was actually colonized by the bugs in the lab's ostensible clean room after its return. Still, the incident was seen as a reminder of how easy the spread of bugs from world to world might be.
The Planetary Protection Officer's job will be to help ensure that that kind of bio-leak doesn't happen for real not just when humans come back from alien worlds, but when robot probes do too. This will be especially important if NASA at last moves ahead with its long deferred Mars Sample Return mission, whose job, as its name suggests, will be to collect samples of Martian soil and rocks to be transported back to Earth for study. To help prevent outward-bound contamination, the job will include establishing and developing better quality control standards so that clean rooms where spacecraft are assembled stay clean and disinfection of the spacecraft before the launch actually works.
And then, of course, there is one final act of self-sacrifice spacecraft perform to help keep things pristine. On September 21, 3003, after eight years spent orbiting Jupiter, the aging Galileo spacecraft made a suicide plunge into the planet's cloud tops to prevent it from accidentally crashing onto Europa, Ganymede or any other Jovian moon that might harbor life. This September, the Cassini spacecraft, which has been orbiting Saturn since 2004, will make a similar high-dive into the Saturnian atmosphere. The maneuvers are designed so that the ships leave the planetary systems as they found them: unharmed—even if much better understood.
