In 2005, astronaut Leroy Chiao was commander of the International Space Station for six and a half months. During a spacewalk with cosmonaut Salizhan Sharipov, the two were installing navigation antennas. They were 230 miles above Earth, traveling at over 17,000 miles per hour, when something unusual caught Chiao’s eye.

“I saw some lights that seemed to be in a line and it was almost like an upside-down check mark, and I saw them fly by and thought it was awfully strange,” Chiao told The Huffington Post.

Chiao’s fellow spacewalker, Sharipov, hadn’t seen the lights because he was facing the opposite direction.

This experience, recreated in the above video (and still image below), launches “NASA’s Unexplained Files,” one of several programs presented as part of Science Channel’s week-long “Are We Alone?“ series, beginning March 2.

A down-to-Earth explanation is offered for Chiao’s sighting: the bright lights of a fishing boat hundreds of miles below him. But is that the only possible interpretation of what the astronaut saw?

It’s easy for many to have no doubt that he witnessed an intelligently controlled extraterrestrial spacecraft. But Chiao doesn’t believe there’s ever been any tangible evidence that someone else is visiting Earth or has done so in the past.

“I’m skeptical of claims that we’ve been visited by aliens from another planet or other dimension, but I don’t rule it out 100 percent. I have an open mind and I do believe there’s other life in the universe.

“If there is life out there that’s so much more advanced than we are and they know either how to travel great distances in short amounts of time, or they’re able to come from a parallel universe into ours, why don’t they just come and show themselves?”

“NASA’s Unexplained Files” episodes highlight possible out-of-this world UFOs either seen or photographed by astronauts over many years.

An alleged photographic piece of UFO evidence occurred on the 1972 Apollo 16 moon mission when astronauts returned to Earth with several film cannisters, one of which showed something intriguing above the lunar surface — something that looks very much like a “classic” flying saucer.

Big harpoon is 'solution to space junk'

Airbus is testing a big harpoon to snare rogue or redundant satellites and pull them out of the sky.

The 1m-long projectile would be attached, through a strong tether, to a chase spacecraft.

Once the target was captured and under control, the chase vehicle would then drag its prey down into the atmosphere to burn to destruction.

Airbus has been working on the concept for a number of years now, developing ever bigger systems.

It is a response to the growing problem of orbital junk - old pieces of hardware that continue to circle the globe and which now pose a collision threat to operational satellites.

Something in the region of 20,000 items of 10cm or larger are currently being tracked.

The latest Airbus harpoon is being designed with the capability to capture one of the biggest rogue items of the lot - Europe's defunct Envisat Earth observation platform.

This 8-tonne behemoth died suddenly in orbit in 2012. "Envisat is the outlier," explained advanced project engineer Alastair Wayman.

"If we can design a harpoon that can cope with Envisat, then it should be able to cope with all other types of spacecraft including the many rocket upper-stages that remain in orbit."

The testing at the aerospace company’s facility in Stevenage, UK, involves firing the harpoon, using compressed air, into a panel that is representative of the kinds of material used to build satellite structures.

Typically, this takes the form of 3cm-thick, composite honeycomb panels that incorporate a lot of aluminium.

"The harpoon goes through these panels like a hot knife through butter," said Mr Wayman.

"Once the tip is inside, it has a set of barbs that open up and stop the harpoon from coming back out. We'd then de-tumble the satellite with a tether on the other end."

This is where harpoons should come into their own, over other methods of capture such as nets and robotic arms. A harpoon is relatively simple. You line up the target and shoot.

"Many of these targets will be tumbling and if you were to use a robotic arm, say, that involves a lot of quite complex motions to follow your target," Mr Wayman explained.

"Whereas, with the harpoon, all you have to do is sit a distance away, wait for the target to rotate underneath you, and at the right moment fire your harpoon. And because it's a really quick event, it takes out a lot of the complexity."

You still have to bring the tumbling satellite under control using thrusters on the chase vehicle - but computer simulations show this should be possible.

The European Space Agency, which is responsible for Envisat, is considering all options at the moment, and the demonstration missions that fly in the next few years will almost certainly go for easier, more cooperative targets first. Indeed, a miniature version of the Airbus harpoon is set to launch next month on a mission called RemoveDebris.

This demonstrator satellite, developed at the Surrey Space Centre, will carry its own piece of junk which it will release and then attempt to retrieve. It will trial a net, but will perform a harpoon test as well to further knowledge about how such systems will behave in the weightless environment of space.

For the big harpoon back in Stevenage, it is now ready to move to its next development stage. This will involve firing the projectile over a distance of 25m, the sort of separation over which the real flight model would have to work.

2 Weeks Before His Death, Stephen Hawking Predicted ‘The End Of The Universe’

According to a report by the Sunday Times, the world-renowned astrophysicists’ co-authored a mathematical study in which he and his colleagues sought to prove the multiverse theory, and how different universes exist out there.

In addition, he also predicted how the universe we currently live in would eventually fade to darkness as stars throughout the cosmos run out of energy.

His last scientific paper—titled ‘A Smooth Exit from Eternal Inflation’—is currently being reviewed by a leading scientific journal and is expected to be accepted for publication shortly.

A Smooth Exit from Eternal Inflation collects concepts from his theory of the lack of limits, which states that the universe expanded from a small point after the Big Bang.

As explained by the Sunday Times, this new proposal suggests that this great explosion was only one of an infinite number of explosions that occurred, each of which created its own universe.

In this context, Thomas Hertog, who collaborated with Hawking, explained that the work makes the multiverse easier to understand, by making it “a verifiable scientific framework.”

However, upon closer inspection, and as explained by follow-up articles published by Gizmodo and the Register, the study, which is yet to be peer-reviewed actually leans away from the multiverse theory, as the two scientists concluded; “we conjecture that the exit from eternal inflation does not produce an infinite fractal-like multiverse, but is finite and reasonably smooth”.

However, in the study, research shows that, if the correct mathematical tools are used, a space probe capable of discovering its existence could be sent. These mathematical tools are explored in the new study waiting to be peer-reviewed.

If this proposal of the British astrophysicist had succeeded while Hawking was still alive, Hertog assured that it would have allowed him to obtain the Nobel prize that “he had wanted for so long.”

“This was Stephen: to boldly go where Star Trek fears to tread,” said Hertog, professor of theoretical physics at KU Leuven University in Belgium.

“He has often been nominated for the Nobel and should have won it. Now he never can.”

However, this will not happen since the recognition is not delivered posthumously.

Meanwhile, the latest theory developed by the scientist is still being analyzed by specialists of the US scientific journal Physical Review Letters, who must give their approval before it is published.

A number of scientists around the world have said how Professor Hawking’s work may represent the breakthrough that cosmology needs, as it’s the first theory that may be verifiable through experiments.

Some 70,000 years ago, a rogue star duo whooshed by our solar system — and early humans probably saw it

If you happened to be alive 70,000 years ago, you might have witnessed an extremely rare event: a duo of rogue stars passing relatively close to the Sun — close enough to gravitationally disrupt the comets and asteroids in the outskirts of the solar system.

In a time when humans were just leaving Africa and Neanderthals were still around, two small reddish stars were approaching our solar system. We now call them Scholz’s star, after the astronomer who discovered them (Ralf-Dieter Scholz). The system is currently some 20 light-years away from Earth, but 70,000 years ago, it was much closer. A team of astronomers now analyzed the orbit of nearly 340 objects in the solar system with hyperbolic orbits (very open, not quite typical elliptical), finding that the trajectory of some of them was influenced by Scholtz’s star. They report that some comets and asteroids in the Oort Cloud — the outer limit of our solar system — were disrupted by the passing of the star.

“Using numerical simulations we have calculated the radiants or positions in the sky from which all these hyperbolic objects seem to come,” explains Carlos de la Fuente Marcos, who together with the other coauthors publishes the results in the MNRAS Letters journal.

“In principle,” he adds, “one would expect those positions to be evenly distributed in the sky, particularly if these objects come from the Oort cloud; however, what we find is very different: a statistically significant accumulation of radiants. The pronounced over-density appears projected in the direction of the constellation of Gemini, which fits the close encounter with Scholz´s star.”

Despite the name, Scholz’s star is actually a binary system consisting of a red dwarf and brown dwarf, with the entire system having just 0.15 solar masses. Because it was so small, it didn’t disturb all the hyperbolic objects in the solar system. Authors explain that the disturbance might also just be a coincidence, completely unrelated to Schultz’s star — but since both the timing and the location of the disturbance fit so well, it’s highly unlikely.

Scholtz’s star passed approximately 52,000 astronomical units away from the Sun (1 astronomical unit is equivalent to the distance between the Earth and the Sun) — the equivalent of 0.82 lightyears. It’s estimated that a star passes through the Oort Cloud every 100,000 years. However, an approach closer than 50,000 astronomical units only happens every 9 million years, according to current models.

Surreal, six-inch mummy with an elongated skull finally described by scientists

It’s the strangest human mummy you’ll likely ever see, and it’s not an alien.

In 2003, researchers found an incredibly bizarre mummy in Chile. Measuring a mere 6 inches, with an extremely elongated skull and several extreme abnormalities, it only remotely looked human. The questions came in fast, and they poured in: what is? Is it human — and if it is human, why does it look so strange?  The specimen was auctioned off to a Spanish businessman which delayed proper studies but now, results from the first comprehensive analysis are finally in.

“This was an unusual specimen with some fairly extraordinary claims put forward. It would be an example of how to use modern science to answer the question what is it?” says senior author Garry Nolan from Stanford University.

Not an alien

Thankfully, Ata, as the skeleton was named (short for Atacama), contains some high-quality DNA which researchers were able to sequence. They compared Ata’s DNA with human and non-human primate reference genomes, including chimpanzee and rhesus macaque. To the chagrin of UFO hunters, researchers learned that Ata is very much human and even more — she has Chilean ancestry.

DNA results will certainly disappoint UFO conspiracists, but Ata is very much human — although she’s incredibly small and suffers from several malformations.

Although researchers believed Ata was a few years old, Nolan now believes she was either stillborn or only lived for a few days. It’s unclear exactly when Ata lived, though the skeleton seems to be at least several decades old — probably some 40 years.

Next, researchers moved on to look for more clues regarding Ata’s extremely short stature and unusual features, which aside from the obvious skull malformation, include an abnormal rib count and premature bone age. They found multiple mutations in genes associated with diseases such as dwarfism, scoliosis, and musculoskeletal abnormalities. Surprisingly, all these malformations can be explained with a relatively short list of gene mutations in genes associated with bone development, Nolan says.

However, Ata is more than just an interesting specimen. Since she had the grave misfortune of suffering such severe abnormalities, she can teach us quite a bit about how the gene mutations can affect the human body.

“This is a great example of how studying ancient samples can teach us how to analyze modern day medical samples” says co-author Atul Butte, from the UCSF.

Aside from her skeletal malformations, Ata also probably suffered from something called congenital diaphragmatic hernia — a fairly common, but also life-threatening condition where a baby’s diaphragm doesn’t form correctly. Nolan told The Guardian:

“She was so badly malformed as to be unable to feed. In her condition, she would have ended up in the neonatal ICU, but given where the specimen was found, such things were simply not available,” he said.

“While this started as a story about aliens, and went international, it’s really a story of a human tragedy. A woman had a malformed baby, it was preserved in a manner and then ‘hocked’ or sold as a strange artefact. It turns out to be human, with a fascinating genetic story from which we might learn something important to help others. May she rest in peace.”

My wife and I have made watching Saturday Night Live a ritual in our home. Say what you will about the quality of SNL today in relation to the ‘good old days,’ the show still has its finger on the pulse of American culture. As we sat on our couch this last Saturday night, beers in hand, host Bill Hader, and the SNL cast put on a sketch about alien abduction. My wife and I realized at that moment, when our eyes met, our perception of anything related to the subject of aliens or UFOs was no longer passive, and that SNL was playing a role in establishing this active participation.

Neither my wife nor I have ever had a strange paranormal experience. We have never seen a UFO, let alone been aboard one. We have never seen aliens or ghosts or Bigfoot. My personal and scholarly interest is that of the UFO community, the individuals who form the subcultural collective which engages with the UFO phenomenon and attached discourse. My wife, who has stood by me by some curious miracle, quietly, and with great patience, tolerates my Ufological interests. Yet, by association alone, or her polite way of listening to me talk about the latest UFO scandal or phone call I had to make to a UFO witness, the cultural impact of UFOs seems to have rubbed off on her.

When Roger, the Reiki healer, played by Bill Hader, explains why a tourist couple visiting Sedona should not hike up to the top of Spirit Rock because of extraterrestrial visitors, we both sat quietly through the entire sketch. While the sketch itself was a bit of a dud, compared to Kate McKinnon’s internet-breaking alien abduction sketch with Ryan Gosling, we both had the exact same question on our minds, but were being polite and refrained from hitting ‘Pause’ on the PVR.

Hader’s Roger, playing to a fairly common Ufological paradigm, goes on to explain that he often climbs to the top of the mountain to meditate and connect with his spirit and body. It all went south one night, however, when “she revealed herself…an alien lady with a head shaped like Mr. Peanut.” The alien “initiates intercourse…because they needed DNA for their little babies.”

However, due to the alien’s unfamiliarity with human anatomy, she flipped Roger over, “spread [his] cakes and blasted [his] Raisinette with a turkey baster.” Roger awakes in his bedroom after the experience with his pants on backwards, and on his pillow is a mint with a little note that read, “Great Job!” When the tourist couple inquires as to why they probed him, obviously pointing out the whole anatomy issue, Roger responds by saying, “I guess they had to figure out the lay of the land.” The sketch continues on with strange lights hovering from above, one of the SNL cast being beamed up to a UFO, and Roger getting to hold his new alien baby.

Mysterious lights in the sky, or just some clever photography?

When the sketch concluded, I managed to speak first, “Is there more UFO stuff on TV, or are we just noticing it more?”

My wife responded with,

“I think we just notice it more. We are prone to noticing it more because it is now a part of our lives; I notice it more. When people talk about UFOs or aliens or something paranormal, I usually stop and listen. I’m tuned into it more, as if it is starting to matter to me. This is your fault.”

Saturday Night Live is a cultural institution. As one journalist put it,

“with its weekly live broadcasts, the show can swiftly distill and cement public perceptions of current events.”

From a pop culture standpoint, it still has significant cachet no matter how “good” or “bad” the sketches or cast are. In regard to its coverage of UFOs and aliens, the show usually sticks to the usual and simple fare, however, it does make some interesting ideological claims. Furthermore, it puts the UFO debate into the pop culture realm, but in an approachable way.

Four years ago, Hader was in a sketch featuring actor Jon Hamm in which he was an alien poorly disguised as a sports announcer named Greg. The sketch featured Greg ‘infecting’ various others and turning them into aliens in order to invade the planet.

I previously mentioned the famous Kate McKinnon and Ryan Gosling sketch, that aired on December 5^th, 2015, which involves three alien abductees being interviewed by Pentagon staffers concerning their experiences. On September 30^th, 2017, Gosling returned to SNL to reprise his role with McKinnon to be interviewed again by Pentagon staff due to the lot of them being abducted a second time. Coincidently, the famous New York Times article concerning a secret Pentagon program which looked into “advanced aerial threats,” in other words, UFOs, was published on December 16^th of the same year.

It seems that the writers of SNL sketches do play to the conspiracy paradigm present in UFO discourse. The interviewers in both sketches are NSA agents and have been tasked with getting to the bottom of “three confirmed cases” of alien abduction. Furthermore, the abductees in both sketches have vastly different experiences. Ryan Gosling and Cecily Strong’s characters both enjoy peacefully divine interactions with the beautiful aliens bathed in light, while McKinnon’s character is on a different part of the ship, the lower decks perhaps, where little alien grays poke and prod at her, steal her pants, and stare at her while she pees in a bowl. As McKinnon puts it, she didn’t think she was “dealing with the top brass.” This is another common experiencer narrative; the stark difference between those who are contacted for some prophetic or higher purpose, and those who experience horrifying and frightening abductions.

This most recent alien sketch involving Hader plays upon the alien-human hybrid plot, which arguably gained great fame when Dr. David Jacobs published his book, The Threat, in 1997. While stories of breeding programs and the harvesting human ovum and sperm existed in the 1960’s, Jacob’s work showcased many individuals who claim to have taken part in such a program, and were continuously ‘re-abducted’ to see, hold and bond with their hybrid children, or to undergo more sexual acts.

More recently, the story of David Huggins hit the news cycle in mid-2017. Huggins claims to have engaged in sexual intercourse with a female extraterrestrial for the purpose of having a hybrid child, and a recently released documentary entitled Love and Saucers tells his story.

While many within the UFO community may get upset with SNL for turning these often frightening and heartbreaking experiences into a joke, the purpose of the show is to point to our collective cultural landscape and make fun of it. When SNL targets White House staff or some current cultural issue, we take it for granted. It is truly a right of passage for every American President to have one of the SNL cast to play him or her (soon hopefully). George W. Bush had Will Ferrel, Barack Obama had Fred Armison and Jay Pharoah, and Donald Trump has Alec Baldwin. Before every popular cultural event such as the Super Bowl, The Academy Awards, and St. Patrick’s Day, the cast and writers of SNL put it through the ringer, and ensure we see the humor in our common traditions, ideologies, paradigms, and assumed truths. The purpose of parody and farce is to satirize, to allow us to giggle at something truthful and even scary.

I am not suggesting that Saturday Night Live is some Ufological savior. Nor am I suggesting that the butt of their jokes, the UFO community and the countless people who have had strange paranormal experiences, should relax and laugh a little. I think we need to appreciate that, for better or worse, we are becoming more comfortable with the realization that the “truths” we used to hold dear are beginning to shift and change. If the show is a cultural mirror, a silly twisted mirror, but a mirror none the less, with every UFO related sketch, our reflection becomes a little more otherworldly. With every UFO sketch that we laugh at, it is also informing the broader popular culture that UFO phenomenon is something worth talking about. Perhaps SNL is unknowingly normalizing the UFO phenomenon; if we laugh about it, we can also talk about it.

Perhaps the more we engage with the UFO phenomenon, the more it seems to show up in our regular lives on Saturday nights. Regardless of whether you are a fan of the show or not, SNL continues to question and poke fun at UFOs and aliens. In some way, it normalizes the strange in its various sketches and turns UFOs and the related phenomenon into approachable.

Raadsel opgelost: vreemde mini-mummie is dan toch geen alien - HLN.be

De ontdekking in een verlaten, gortdroog en heet oord in de Chileense Atacama-woestijn baarde in 2003 wereldwijd opzien. Er werd zelfs een documentaire gewijd aan het alientje, dat Ata werd gedoopt naar de vindplaats. De film is nu definitief sciencefiction. In werkelijkheid had de kleine gemuteerde meid, die vermoedelijk een jaar of veertig geleden veel te vroeg werd geboren, een reeks genetische afwijkingen, die onder meer leidden tot misvorming van de schedel.

Californische wetenschappers hebben dat in het vakblad Genome Research beschreven. Van veel van de aangetoonde gendefecten was bekend dat ze een rol speelden bij dwerggroei, verkromming van de ruggengraat (scoliose) en deformatie van spieren en botten. Andere geconstateerde mutaties waren wel in verband gebracht met het ontstaan van bepaalde ziektebeelden maar nog niet met dit soort ontwikkelingsstoornissen.

Bij het eerste onderzoek viel meteen op dat Ata tien in plaats van twaalf paar ribben had en dat sommige skeletdelen van een zes- of zevenjarig kind leken. Zou het kunnen dat zij ondanks alle misvormingen zo lang heeft geleefd? Nee, zeggen de specialisten dankzij het uit een rib gehaald erfelijk materiaal. Ata was een foetus en leed aan een zeldzame ziekte die botten snel doet verouderen.

Toen de mensen eindelijk aankwamen op Mars met een tiental grote raketten, bleek dat er zich al een ondergrondse beschaving op de planeet bevond. 

De regering van de Marsbewoners werd gevormd door tien verschillende mannen die een leider hadden gekozen die bekenstond als Elon. 

We hebben ondertussen diverse artikelen gepubliceerd over het fenomeen Elon Musk. De held, de stripfiguur die alles kan en de meest onvoorstelbare capriolen uithaalt in de ruimte zoals het lanceren van een Tesla auto.

Niet zo vreemd natuurlijk dat er snel stemmen opgingen die zeiden dat Elon Musk niet een bepaald iemand is, maar meer een instituut, waarbij het karakter Musk wordt vertolkt door diverse acteurs.

Net zoals Harry Potter of Buffy The Vampire Slayer het ons mogelijk maken om de verschrikkingen van de moderne wereld onder ogen te zien door alles meer behapbaar en te overwinnen te maken, zo biedt Elon Musk ons een blik op de toekomst waar technologie niet al onze banen vernietigt, waar het kapitalisme niet alleen maar onze omgeving kapotmaakt en waar niet slechts zes mensen 99 procent van 's werelds rijkdommen beheren. Door de visie van "Musk" kunnen wij geloven dat ondanks dat alle voorgaande dingen gebeuren, we in ieder geval verder kunnen door te gaan wonen op Mars en ons te vermengen met robots.

Volgens voornoemde Tim Dunlop is de naam Elon Musk bedacht door een striptekenaar, maar nu komen er aanwijzingen boven tafel dat die naam misschien al veel eerder is bedacht. 

En dan komen we uit bij de beruchte Duitse raketgeleerde en Nazi, Dr. Wernher von Braun. Deze man was nauw betrokken bij de oprichting van het Amerikaanse NASA. Hetzelfde NASA dat recentelijk in samenwerking met Musk een raket lanceerde die tevens een Tesla auto met zich meedroeg. Dit instituut is louter en alleen in het leven geroepen om de mensheid te misleiden zoals we schreven in een eerder artikel: 

Sinds de oprichting van NASA in 1958 is er alles aan gedaan om de occulte oorsprong van dit instituut voor het publiek verborgen te houden. De oorsprong die direct leidt naar wat men wel het “slechtste mens ooit” op aarde noemt, Alistair Crowley. 

De hoogste rangen binnen NASA werden gedomineerd door leden van de geheime genootschappen zoals de Vrijmetselaars en voormalige Nazi’s, waarvan de meest bekende Wernher von Braun is. 

Dan is duidelijk dat je op iedere persconferentie wordt voorgelogen, dat er allang een geheime ruimtevloot bestaat, dat er mensen op Mars wonen en dat buitenaardsen overeenkomsten hebben gesloten met overheden. 

Dat alles wat NASA aan het grote publiek vertelt, gebaseerd is op leugens en dat ze met de technologie zoals ze die tonen aan de buitenwereld nog niet eens de Van Allen Gordel kunnen passeren met bemande ruimtevluchten.

Wat niet erg bekend is bij het grote publiek is dat Wernher von Braun in 1949 een roman schreef met de titel: Project Mars: A Technical Tale.

Het is een roman die speelt in de jaren tachtig waarbij de mens voor het eerst een poging doet om de planeet Mars te koloniseren. De reis wordt gemaakt met tien grote ruimteschepen en was alleen mogelijk door een verregaande internationale samenwerking. In die tijd is de Derde Wereldoorlog al achter de rug en bestaat er één wereldregering die dit alles mogelijk maakt. De grote schepen bevonden zich in een omloopbaan om de aarde en er waren meer dan 1.000 vluchten nodig vanaf de aarde om deze voor te bereiden en te bevoorraden voor de lange reis naar Mars.

Echter, wanneer de menselijke expeditie uiteindelijk aankomt op Mars, ontdekken ze dat er daar al een vreedzame beschaving woont, niet aan de oppervlakte van de planeet, maar ondergronds. 

Er komt echter iets bijzonders naar voren wanneer het boek rond hoofdstuk 24 beschrijft wie er de leiding heeft over de beschaving op Mars. 

De regering bestaat feitelijk uit 10 mannen en de door hen gekozen leider werd de Elon genoemd. Verder zijn er twee volksvertegenwoordigingen die de wetgeving mogelijk maken die door de Elon en zijn kabinet moeten worden uitgevoerd.

De vraag is dan ook: hoe komt een Wernher von Braun in 1948/49 aan de bijzondere naam Elon? Het is nu niet bepaald een veel voorkomende naam en de oorsprong van die naam is Joods en betekent iets als: een stevige eik. Ook in Afrika komt die naam af en toe voor en daar betekent het: God houdt van mij.

Heeft Wernher von Braun die naam verzonnen of was het ook al in die dagen onderdeel van de plannen van de geheime ruimtevloot en wist Von Braun dat die naam Elon later zou worden gebruikt voor een fictief karakter die te maken krijgt met het namens de mensheid mogelijk maken om naar Mars te reizen.

De naam lijkt te bijzonder om zomaar op toevalligheid te berusten, mede omdat we dus nu te maken hebben met een Elon Musk.

Nu wordt misschien gesuggereerd dat Elon Musk is vernoemd naar de fictieve leider van de planeet Mars omdat zijn ouders het boek hadden gelezen van Von Braun. Ook die vlieger gaat niet op, want nadat hij het boek had geschreven wilde niet één uitgever in Amerika zich daaraan wagen en is het pas jaren na de dood van Von Braun dat het boek in 2006 uiteindelijk werd uitgegeven. Jaren nadat Elon Musk was geboren. 

Von Braun wist heel veel over wat er zich allemaal in de achtergrond afspeelde. Daarom is het zo goed als zeker dat hij wist dat er in latere jaren een echt Mars project zou ontstaan en dat de naam Elon daar een belangrijke rol zou spelen. Wat in dat geval nogmaals een bevestiging is dat Elon Musk niet een echt iemand is, maar een fictief karakter dat door een aantal verschillende acteurs wordt gespeeld.

In dat licht is de samenwerking met overheidsinstelling NASA ook niet vreemd, terwijl eerder dit een privé aangelegenheid zou zijn. In onze ogen is dit laatste wederom bedoeld om een bepaalde indruk te wekken, alsof (rijke) privé personen dit soort initiatieven ongestoord zouden kunnen ontplooien. Alle particuliere initiatieven mislukken om uiteenlopende redenen en pas als Elon samenwerkt met overheidsinstelling NASA mag het ineens wel een succes zijn.

Wernher Von Braun is verder natuurlijk ook bekend geworden door de bekentenissen die hij deed tegenover Dr. Carol Rosin, waarover wij eerder schreven:

Ongeveer drie jaar voor zijn dood kwam hij in aanraking met Dr. Carol Rosin. Misschien kreeg hij aan het eind van zijn leven iets van wroeging, want haar vertelde hij een groot aantal geheimen. Om de gigantische kosten en de mega verdiensten voor de ruimtewapensystemen enigszins te rechtvaardigen en de agenda voor de New World Order te promoten, zouden er kunstmatige vijanden worden gecreëerd. 

Eerst zou dat Rusland zijn. Daarna de terroristen. Vervolgens de landen in het Midden-Oosten. Dan de laatste troefkaart: Een bedreiging uit de ruimte.

GOUDKLEURIGE UFO'S WAARGENOMEN BIJ SEDONA  ( VIDEO )

De plaats Sedona in de Amerikaanse staat Arizona heeft een bijzondere reputatie omdat daar geregeld vreemde dingen gebeuren. 

Zo schijnen er diverse vortexen te zijn en is het ook een plek waar de scheidingen tussen dimensies lijken te verdwijnen. 

Sedona in de staat Arizona staat bekend als een soort magische plek waar jaarlijks duizenden toeristen naartoe komen om ook iets mee te krijgen van de aparte sfeer daar.

Ongeveer een maand geleden schreven wij een artikel over een man die er klaarblijkelijk in was geslaagd om in Sedona een poort naar een andere dimensie te openen om daarna spoorloos te verdwijnen. Voor zover wij kunnen nagaan is de man tot op dit moment nog steeds spoorloos en vermoeden sommigen dan ook dat hij erin is geslaagd om een andere dimensie te bereiken, maar niet in staat om terug te keren.

De volgende waarneming is afkomstig van Mufon en staat daar geregistreerd onder nummer 90899.

Afgelopen weekend was een man op bezoek in Sedona en zit een hapje te eten in Sinuaga Plaza aldaar, op de tweede verdieping, vanwaar hij een mooi uitzicht heeft over de bergen.

Hij besluit enkele foto's te nemen en wanneer hij later thuiskomt en de foto's bekijkt, dan ontdekt hij enkele goudkleurige UFO's op zijn foto's.

De foto's die hij maakte zien er als volgt uit:

Wanneer je goed kijkt op de eerste foto, dan zie je daar in de wolken ook nog een UFO.

Volgens ufoloog Scott Waring is er grote kans dat er zich onder de bergen bij Sedona ondergrondse buitenaardse bases bevinden.

Volgens één van zijn lezers moet er nog ergens een schip verborgen zijn in de wolken:

Nu zien we niet iedere dag goudkleurige UFO's, maar een plek waar ze wel regelmatig worden waargenomen is het bij het ISS ruimtestation.

Hierna een deel uit een eerder artikel uit 2014 waar ook de gouden UFO prominent in beeld komt:

Het lijkt dat de gouden UFO die we dit jaar al verschillende malen zijn tegen gekomen, kind aan huis is bij het ISS. 

Terwijl de censuurjongens bij NASA koffiepauze hadden en vergaten de camera uit te zetten, verscheen op 29 augustus wederom de gouden UFO in beeld.

Je ziet de UFO hangen achter de zonnepanelen van het ISS ruimtestation. Grote vraag is natuurlijk of hij van buitenaardse afkomst is of toebehoort aan de geheime ruimtevloot van de Bilderbergers. 

Wij hopen op het eerste en ook op dat er misschien zo langzamerhand wat buitenaardse beschavingen zijn die zich zodanig zorgen maken over de psychopaten die op onze aarde aan de touwtjes trekken, dat ingrijpen geoorloofd wordt.

Want een beetje hulp van andere beschavingen om de zaak weer goed op de rit te krijgen, lijkt gezien de huidige wereldsituatie geen overbodige luxe.

Eerst een deel uit het artikel dat wij in januari van dit jaar schreven: 

Scott Waring van Ufo Sightings Daily brengt een groot deel van zijn leven door met het publiceren over en het zoeken naar UFO’s en andere vreemde onverklaarbare zaken, vaak gerelateerd aan NASA's archieven. Zo komt hij nu met het volgende verhaal: 

"Ik was aan het kijken naar het ISS en luisterde naar de conversatie om erachter te komen waar ze het over hadden. Terwijl ik aan het luisteren was zag ik deze gouden bol die stil hing op ongeveer twee meter afstand van het ISS"

"Ik bleef kijken en zag dat de zonnenpanelen achter de UFO bewogen en ik kon duidelijk zien dat de UFO zich tussen de panelen en de camera bevond. Toen de zonnenpanelen zich langzaam weg van de UFO bewogen werd deze ineens duidelijker zichtbaar tegen de blauwe achtergrond".

"Toen werd het beeld door NASA ineens op volledig blauw gezet. Hadden ook zij de UFO gezien en besloten daarom het scherm op blauw te zetten? Ik denk het wel. Ik heb de onderstaande video opgenomen en ik sta ervoor in dat deze echt is".

En nu, enkele dagen geleden, op 15 augustus werd de volgende opname gemaakt nabij het ISS:

Wat deze UFO’s te zoeken hebben bij het ISS ruimtestation is nog steeds niet duidelijk. Naast deze bijzondere gouden exemplaren worden er bijna dagelijks ook allerlei andere soorten UFO’s waargenomen. 

Ondanks dat dit feit nu zelfs door mainstreammedia wordt gerapporteerd, is er nog steeds geen enkele reactie van NASA.

Glowing Triangular UFO photographed by an airplane passenger over Texas, March 2018, UFO Sighting News.

This triangle UFO was seen by a person on a passenger jet over Texas this week. The UFO is glowing, probably due to the angle of the setting sun and the plane. I do not believe that people on the ground could see this craft. Notice the clouds hide 90% of it below. The shape of the triangle and the fact its trying to hide itself is good evidence its real. Check out this remake of a very good sighting that happened over Las Vegas, Nevada back in 2015!

 I shot this video from my backyard in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas, Nevada on the night of July 16, 2015. I had to remake this amazing video. Watch the UFOs and how they move and you will understand that they cannot possibly be anything conventional. The video begins with them sped up by four times so that you can see how unusual they are and then watch it at actual speed. I spent more than a year skywatching before I ever had any idea at all that these were in the northern sky and that they existed. They are doing this in restricted airspace so it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary to assume that they might be ours. If they aren’t ours then whose are they, where are they from and why are they allowed to do this?

Amazing daytime UFO over Marco Island, Florida 17-Mar-2018

Check out this footage of a cigar-shaped UFO flying over the sky above Marco Island in Florida. This was filmed on 17th March 2018.

Witness report: 

To aerial devices traveling towards one another that seemed rather large to me and did not look like anything that I had seen before and struck me odd. I am very observant and detailed I am a firefighter and this is nothing that I have seen before.
I was outside throwing the football with my two young boys and noticed two vessels in the sky traveling towards one another. It struck me odd, so much that I stopped throwing the football and took a closer look and realize that these objects were very far away but really really large. And they were traveling towards one another at a very close distance apart from where I was standing it looked as though it might be a close call kind of thing. I did not think it was a large aircraft or drone or anything that I’ve seen before. It look like an (Advil with lights on the side but white & lights were yellow and orange.) normally Aircrafts don’t do that, fly directly forwards each other. The larger of the two UFOs were traveling north and the smaller of the two was traveling south. The one traveling south was leaving trails. And I lost track of the one traveling north and they both basically disappeared. Both of my boys and my ex-wife thought that it was very odd and that I was not making a big deal of nothing. After posting on Facebook my fire chief told me that I should contact you folks and let you see the videos and pictures. I’m just curious what it was? When you see the video you will be able to judge for yourself that it just seems so far away and to be so large in the sky it did not seem right.

Triangle-shaped formation filmed over Colorado Springs 3-Mar-2018

This UFO sighting was filmed in the sky above Colorado Springs on 3rd March 2018.

Witness report: 

Bright large stationary orbs disappearing then reappearing. Vacationing with friends and spouse at Cheyanne Mountain resort in Colorado Springs, Co. After a long day of outside activities we returned to the resort for dinner. Afterwards we went to the outside patio to sit at the fire pit and talk about our day.

µAt first I didn’t notice anything strange but my friend pointed out a weird light in the sky that just hovered. When I looked to where he was pointing I pulled out my iPhone and began recording it. Shortly after a 2nd orb materialized above the 1st. Once they were both visible they simultaneously got brighter and slightly larger. At the time I was confused as to what I was looking at. There was a lake between the orbs and myself and the lights were reflecting off the water. The lower light suddenly disappeared and another orb appeared ABOVE the remaining one.

At one point there were 3 visible orbs that from my angle appeared to be in a relatively straight line. I wondered if maybe they were flares but every orb held it’s place in the sky with no apparent descent or change. I tried at various times to zoom in but it would not hold focus. This went on for over 2min so I felt I was neglecting my group. I stopped the recording and returned to the fire pit, which was about 30’ away.

When I turned back around all of the orbs were gone. I still don’t know what I saw but during the incident the server came out and my friend asked if he knew what it was. His reply was, “I’ve been here for 10 yrs and have never seen anything like it”, which adds to the mystery. There were other vacations making some noise in the pool but we’re no airplanes in the sky and other than those talking it was silent.

This bow shock was generated in a laboratory in a magnetized plasma-obstacle interaction, like the one used to solve the mystery of why comets emit X-rays.

Scientists from 15 institutes, led by the University of Oxford in the U.K., announced today (March 20, 2018) that they’ve solved the mystery of why comets emit X-rays. Very hot objects like the sun emit X-rays, but comets aren’t hot. In fact, they’re sometimes described as dirty snowballs and are among our solar system’s coldest objects. So what’s the mechanism for X-rays from comets?

The answer comes from experiments performed at the LULI laser facility in Paris, where, these scientists say, they were able to replicate the interaction of comets with the solar wind. The new study is published in the peer-reviewedjournal Nature Physics. These scientists’ statement explained:

When comets travel through the solar system they interact with solar radiation, the solar wind and the solar magnetic field. This produces a visible atmosphere or coma as well as the observed cometary tail, and in some cases, X-rays. These are generated on the sunward side of the comet where the solar wind impacts the cometary atmosphere, forming a bow shock.

Alexandra Rigby, an Oxford University student, led the experiment as part of her doctoral research. She explained:

The laser beams are fired onto a plastic foil which explodes, causing a stream of electrons and ions to be expelled forming a high speed flow of ionized gas (plasma) like the solar wind.

To replicate a “comet” in the lab, the researchers placed a solid sphere of material about 1 centimeter (0.4 inches) away from the plastic foil. The result, they said, mimicked conditions comets encounter while traveling through our solar system. It was found that electrons are heated to about a million degrees Celsius (about 1.8 million degrees Fahrenheit) in the upstream region by plasma turbulence. Their statement explained:

These hot electrons are responsible for emitting X-rays in the presence of a magnetic field.

Physicist Gianluca Gregori of Oxford – who led the scientific team – commented:

These experimental results provide direct laboratory evidence that objects moving through magnetized plasmas can be sites of electron heating. This process is common in astrophysics and can take place not only in comets, but also in planetary magnetospheres (as of our own Earth), or even in supernova remnants where the ejected material sends a shock wave into the interstellar gas.

The scientists expressed satisfaction that they can now replicate astrophysical phenomena like this one in the laboratory and, thereby, to solve long-standing mysteries, like the mystery of X-rays from comets.

Bottom line: X-rays come from very hot objects, and comets are cold. Yet comets emit X-rays. Researchers used lasers in a laboratory setting to find out why.

The Juno spacecraft has found that the giant planet Jupiter is full of big surprises; its interior composition and structure seem to be quite different, and its winds even more active, than originally thought. Now, giant cyclones at the planet’s poles have been seen in greater detail than ever before. They are not only stunning, but unique from atmospheric storms of any other planet in our solar system, even other gas and ice giants. Also, other new data from Juno builds on previous findings, including showing that the planet’s strong winds penetrate deep into the atmosphere and last longer than any similar ones on our planet.

The new findings are published (here and here) in the March 8, 2018, edition of the peer-reviewed journal Nature.

In a statement from NASA, Scott Bolton, principal investigator of Juno from the Southwest Research Institute, San Antonio, said:

These astonishing science results are yet another example of Jupiter’s curve balls, and a testimony to the value of exploring the unknown from a new perspective with next-generation instruments. Juno’s unique orbit and evolutionary high-precision radio science and infrared technologies enabled these paradigm-shifting discoveries.

Juno is only about one-third the way through its primary mission, and already we are seeing the beginnings of a new Jupiter.

Since astronomers first started using telescopes, it could be seen that Jupiter seemed to be an active world, with its well-known colorful atmospheric belts, and of course the Great Red Spot. Thanks to probes like Voyager, Galileo and now Juno, we can see these phenomena in much greater detail than ever before. The atmospheric belts are incredibly turbulent, with jet streams and storms far more powerful than any on Earth.

Jupiter’s atmospheric marvels are not limited to its equatorial regions, however; Juno has provided unprecedented views of the planet’s poles, where massive cyclones churn with unearthly ferocity. Infrared images created from data taken by the Jovian Infrared Auroral Mapper (JIRAM) instrument look almost surreal, like cosmic artwork.

The clusters of cyclones around the poles look kind of like a space pizza – a dazzling, yet unearthly sight. Alberto Adriani, Juno co-investigator from the Institute for Space Astrophysics and Planetology, Rome, and lead author of oneof the new papers, said:

Prior to Juno we did not know what the weather was like near Jupiter’s poles. Now, we have been able to observe the polar weather up-close every two months.

Each one of the northern cyclones is almost as wide as the distance between Naples, Italy, and New York City – and the southern ones are even larger than that. They have very violent winds, reaching, in some cases, speeds as great as 220 mph (350 kph). Finally, and perhaps most remarkably, they are very close together and enduring.

There is nothing else like it that we know of in the solar system.

Jupiter’s south pole has cyclones, too. This computer-generated image of cyclones at Jupiter’s south pole was created using data from the Jovian Infrared Auroral Mapper (JIRAM) instrument on Juno.

Interestingly, the cyclones remain close to each other but never seem to merge together.

Not only are Jupiter’s storms unearthly, so are its auroras, which are much more powerful than any here, and “defy earthly laws of physics.”

Juno had also already shown that the planet’s equatorial belts extend much farther down into the atmosphere than thought, and new gravity measurements have also now shown a north-south asymmetry. Luciano Iess, Juno co-investigator from Sapienza University of Rome, said:

Juno’s measurement of Jupiter’s gravity field indicates a surprising north-south asymmetry, similar to the asymmetry observed in its zones and belts.

The stronger the asymmetry, the deeper the jet streams are. The Jovian weather layer, from the very top to a depth of 1,900 miles (3,000 kilometers), is now estimated to contain about one percent of Jupiter’s mass (about 3 Earth masses). Earth’s atmosphere is less than one millionth the mass of the planet itself, by comparison.

Tristan Guillot, a Juno co-investigator from the Université Côte d’Azur, Nice, France, and lead author of the March 8 paper on Jupiter’s deep interior, said:

Juno also found that Jupiter rotates almost as a solid body, beneath the active weather layer.

This is really an amazing result, and future measurements by Juno will help us understand how the transition works between the weather layer and the rigid body below.

Juno’s discovery has implications for other worlds in our solar system and beyond. Our results imply that the outer differentially-rotating region should be at least three times deeper in Saturn and shallower in massive giant planets and brown dwarf stars.

Juno has conducted 10 science passes over Jupiter so far; the next one will be on April 1.

Bottom line: Thanks to Juno, we now know that Jupiter’s interior composition and structure appear different, and its winds more active, than originally thought. Also, Juno has now seen giant cyclones at Jupiter’s poles in greater detail than ever before.

Designer of U-2 Spy Plane Witnessed Strange UFO

The Kelly Johnson UFO Sighting

Without question one of the most credible UFO sightings of all times is the sighting of a dark elliptical craft on Dec. 16, 1953 by one of the world’s leading aircraft engineers, Clarence Leonard “Kelly” Johnson, who designed the U-2 spy plane for the CIA.

In addition, what makes this sighting so credible is that unbeknown to Johnson, a Lockheed test pilot on a  flight along the Los Angeles coastline corroborated Kelly’s sighting.

The Event

Johnson spotted the craft from his Lindero Ranch near Agoura, Calif. at about 5 p.m. and at first thought it was a lenticular cloud, or the vapor trail from some sort of aircraft.

“When it did not move or disintegrate, I asked my wife to get me our 8-power binoculars, so I could not have to take my eyes off the object, which by now I had recognized as a so-called saucer,” Kelly wrote in this Dec. 18, 1953 letter to the United States Air Force. (See copy of letter below)

Johnson then ran outside his house so he could focus better on the strange object.

“The object even in the glasses, appeared black and distinct, but I could make out no detail,” Johnson wrote.

As Johnson watched for about five minutes mesmerized — this is a man who was at the cutting edge of top-secret aircraft technology — when the object suddenly climbed and sped away at a speed Johnson estimated as impossible for any earthly technology.

The next day when Johnson reported for work at Lockheed, he found that one of its test pilots had seen the same UFO at the same time while testing the Constellation airframe 4301, which was a prototype for the Navy Airborne Early Warning aircraft.

The test pilot, Rudy Thoren, also documented his experience with the Air Force, which investigated the case as part of its Project Blue Book, only to conclude that both men had mistaken a cloud for a UFO.
