The fairies of times long gone were very far removed from what one might be accustomed to seeing on a modern day Christmas card. Contrary to the belief that fairies grow to barely five to six inches tall, the creatures of old reached heights similar to those of young children – that’s to say roughly around three feet tall. They were most often described as looking very old, wizened, and even sinister. They lived deep underground, in darkened hollows, in mounds that opened up into vast, cavernous, winding regions, and in magical domains where aging was non-existent, disease was unknown, and, for all intents and purposes, life seemed to go on forever.
In addition to that, the little people – like fairies all across the planet – had an obsession with human reproduction: they stole newborn babies from their cradles, sometimes replacing them with one of their own, magical kind. It was a creature termed a “changeling,” most often a fairy baby, but sometimes an ailing, very old fairy. On other occasions, the fairies left effigies, often carved out of wood, and known as the “stock’ or the “fetch,” which were designed to resemble a baby. In mere days, however, the effigy would degrade, revealing it to be nothing more than the rotted wood of an old tree. It hardly needs saying that none of these replacements offered any kind of comfort to the distraught parents, who just wanted their children returned as soon as possible. Unfortunately, they seldom were – if ever.
There was a very good reason why the fairies were so intent on kidnapping human babies: a staple part of fairy lore tells of how the creatures were very often blighted in their attempts to reproduce, with miscarriages and deformities leading the pack when it came to fairy births. So, they would try and strengthen their stock via the introduction of new blood: ours, to be precise. Generally, the stolen baby would, as an adult, marry into fairy nobility.
On this same path of improving the fairy stock, there are numerous tales in centuries-old Celtic lore of men becoming dazzled and entranced by fairies – very often late at night on lonely roads, or in the depths of silent, enchanting woods – and taken to the fairy kingdom where they would engage in sex with female fairies, and usually with fairy queens. In 1886, F.S. Wilde, a noted historian on Celtic folklore and mythology, said: “The queen [of the fairies] is more beautiful than any woman on earth, yet Finvarra [the king of the fairies] loves the mortal woman best, and wiles them down to his fairy palace by the subtle charm of the fairy music, for no one who has yet heard it can resist its power, and they are fated to belong to the fairies ever after. Their friends mourn for them as dead with much lamentation, but in reality they are leading a joyous life down in the heart of the hill, in the fairy palace with the silver columns and the crystal walls.”
Then there is the matter of what we might call “missing time.” One thing, more than any other, confirmed an encounter with the fairies: when the person – or, perhaps, “the victim” is a better term to use – who had encountered these magical beings returned to our world, they typically found that days, weeks, or even years, had gone by, despite being absolutely certain in their own minds that the passage of time was no more than scarcely a few hours.
A classic example of this is the 13th Century story of one Thomas the Rhymer, a bard of Berwickshire, Scotland. While strolling, alone, one night, on the banks of the Leader Water, Thomas is confronted by the most beautiful woman he has ever encountered in his life, sitting atop a huge, white, horse. Her hair is golden, and her green cloak is adorned with priceless, sparkling jewels. She introduces herself as none other than the queen of the fairies. Thomas, practically, hypnotized by her beauty, asks for a kiss. The queen agrees, but demands that, in return, Thomas must travel with her to the fairy kingdom, where he will serve her – meaning sex. He eagerly agrees. For Thomas, it seems that no more than three days has passed by, when he is returned to our world. He is, however, terrified to find that no less than seven years have elapsed. So smitten is he by the queen – who has given him the gift of prophecy – Thomas eventually returns to the fairy realm to live out the rest of his days, perhaps no longer able to relate to our world, after seeing what lies beyond the veil.
A similar story, from the 19th century, tells of two Welshmen, Llewellyn and Rhys, who were walking to their homes late one night when they heard the sound of enchanting, hypnotic music. While Rhys was entranced by it, Llewellyn was not: he knew it was the chilling calling-card of the fairies, and that listening to the music for too long would lead one to fall under the spell of the little people. Rhys refused to budge; Llewellyn fled. On the following day, Llewellyn tentatively returned to the scene and found, to his amazement and concern, Rhys wildly dancing in what was termed “a fairy circle.” Despite the passing of a day, Rhys was sure he had only been dancing for mere minutes.
There is another factor that comes into play here: the issue of small, diminutive entities, of a supernatural nature, displaying a somewhat morbid obsession with newborn babies and human reproduction, and who have the ability to leave the targeted individual with a distinct sense of “missing time,” are staple factors of what have become known, today, as “alien abductions.” Of course, there is nothing new about any of this at all: check out the work of Jacques Vallee, particularly so Passport to Magonia, a book that I think gets closer to the truth of the UFO phenomenon than most.
In the world of UFO truth-seeking, one of the most significant events in recent memory was last year’s apparent disclosure of a secretive research project within the Pentagon. That project, known as the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, was created to analyze evidence of anomalous aerial activity gathered by the U.S. military. The disclosure of the program was accompanied by several videos which were reported to show U.S. aircraft being easily out maneuvered by strange objects capable of speeds and acrobatics far out of reach of current military aircraft. While those “disclosures” have been great fodder for headlines over the last year, the man who formerly headed the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program recently made comments suggesting more, bigger disclosures are in store for 2019.
Luis Elizondo recently sat down with legendary journalist George Knapp to discuss all that’s happened in the year since the initial disclosure of the program. In the interview, Elizondo suggests that while last year was a big one, 2019 could be even bigger:
Data is forthcoming. So, that’s a good thing. Data is beginning to flow in the direction that it’s supposed to flow in. Decisions can now finally be made that need to be made. From my perspective, that is a huge accomplishment. But at the same time, we also have to respect these individuals’ privacy. We have to respect their professional positions and allow them to collect as much data as they can before they do anything with it.
Of course, as a career intelligence officer, Elizondo parses his words carefully and doesn’t reveal anything specific. Of course, you have to wonder: does he actually have anything specific to disclose? If the AATIP program Elizondo headed was as steeped in actual evidence as was reported, then probably so.
At another point in the interview, Elizondo hints that while the videos that have been released so far help shine light on all of the strangeness going on in our skies, there’s plenty more where they came from:
I think we have a much better understanding in the depth and scope that the Department of Defense has played in recent times, not historical 40s and 50s. I’m talking very recent regarding the UFO phenomenon. I think people will be surprised just how frequent and the volume in which these things are apparently recorded and observed by active duty military people on missions, around the world, by the way.
Of course, given DeLonge’s announcement of a new television series, could all of this merely be a clever multi-year campaign to build the “To The Stars Academy” brand? Along those same lines, could all of this talk of disclosure be another smokescreen to conceal what’s really going on in the skies? Just because these aircraft (or whatever they are) are highly advanced doesn’t necessarily mean they’re aliens, after all. What’s really going on in those Pentagon videos? Will we ever know, or is all of this a distraction?

While filming the full Moon a huge dark object comes into view crossing the moon without changing speed. It looks like it flies slightly behind the Moon at the top.
A remarkable detail; the full Moon occurred at the first day of the winter solstice late Friday afternoon and coincides with the Ursids meteor shower which is visible between December 17 and 25, 2018. A full moon coincides with the first day of winter solistice is a unique event given that the next time a full moon lines up with the winter solstice will be 2094.
The next footage shows the dark circular object at the moment it crosses the moon at the first day of the winter solstice.

What's That Weird Cloud That's Been Looming Over Mars for Weeks?
A 930-mile-long cloud is suspended over one of Mars' volcanoes.

For over a month, Mars orbiters have been watchinga weird Martian cloud that resembles a booger and is so large that it can be seen with telescopes on Earth.
Suspended over the western slope of Arsia Mons, an enormous volcano near the red planet’s equator, the elongated cloud stretches for about 930 miles, and was first spotted by the European Space Agency’s (ESA) Mars Express orbiter on September 13. Though the cloud looks like the kind of volcanic plumes huffed out by Earth’s active volcanoes, Arsia Mons is long extinct—its last eruption is estimated to have occurredaround 50 million years ago.
The volcano still plays a role in shaping the water-ice cloud, though, along with atmospheric dust levels and the Martian seasons.

With its 12-mile-high peak and diameter of nearly 400 miles, Arsia Mons is 30 times more voluminous than the largest volcanoes on Earth. Its humongous bulk condenses and cools air currents as they pass over the summit, creating this “orographic cloud”—a nephologic formation that tend to form over leeward (downwind) slopes—on the western flank of the volcano.
Similar clouds observed in 2009, 2012, and 2015 coincided with the winter season, so it’s not surprising that this one showed up a few weeks before the Martian winter solstice on October 16. Plus, Mars was recently gripped by a dust storm that encircled the planet in June and July that likely boosted the cloud’s visibility and size.
Maybe one day, we’ll be able to view this rare event from the the surface through the eyes of a rover, lander, or even a human crew near Arsia Mons, which has inspired science fiction stories due to its possible cave system. In the meantime, Mars Express will continue snapping raw images of the cloud until it fades away, so you can follow its progress safely from Earth.

If only a hippopotamus will do this Christmas, Santa has the space rock for you.
A small asteroid will fly safely by Earth Saturday (Dec. 22) and according to the folks at NASA, it looks just like the mighty hippo in new radar images. The asteroid, called 2003 SD220, is also making its closest approach to Earth in more than 400 years and won't be any closer until 2070, NASA officials said. Itlast flew by Earth on Christmas Eve of 2015.
"Do you want a hippopotamus for Christmas?" officials with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory wrote on Twitter Friday (Dec. 21). "You're in luck. Hippo-shaped #asteroid 2003 SD220 will fly safely past Earth on Saturday, Dec. 22, at a distance of ~1.8 million miles (~2.9 million km)." The new radar images revealed that asteroid 2003 SD220 is nearly 1 mile long (1.6 kilometers) and has a shape "similar to that of the exposed portion of a hippopotamus wading in a river," JPL officials said in a statement. The asteroid's size and close flybys of Earth make it potentially hazardous asteroid to watch for NASA, but it poses no impact threat to our planet, agency officials said. The radar images were taken between Dec. 15 and Dec. 17 by scientists with NASA's JPL, Goldstone antenna in California, Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico and the National Science Foundation's Green Bank Telescope in West Virginia. The Goldstone and Arecibo instruments bounced microwave signals off the asteroid that were then picked up by the Green Bank Telescope to create detailed radar images of the rock's size and shape.

"The radar images achieve an unprecedented level of detail and are comparable to those obtained from a spacecraft flyby," said Lance Benner of JPL in Pasadena, California, lead scientist for the Goldstone observations, in the JPL statement. "The most conspicuous surface feature is a prominent ridge that appears to wrap partway around the asteroid near one end."
The ridge rises 330 feet (100 meters) above its surroundings, and the asteroid is pepperd with bright spots that may be reflections from boulders, Benner said. "The images also show a cluster of dark, circular features near the right edge that may be craters," he added.
The new observations are about 20 times more detailed than those taken in 2015, when asteroid 2003 SD220 last flew by Earth. At the time, it was much farther away than on its current visit, NASA officials said.
The new images also confirm key details about asteroid 2003 SD220, NASA added. They show that the asteroid rotates just once every 12 days - an oddly slow spin for a space rock. It also has a wobbly motion that NASA officials likened to a badly thrown football (or perhaps a meandering hippo?).

"Known as 'non-principal axis' rotation, it is uncommon among near-Earth asteroids, most of which spin about their shortest axis," NASA officials said of the asteroid's motion.
By refining asteroid 2003 SD220's rotation, size and shape, the new radar images will help scientists understand how it formed and evolved over time, researchers said. The observations were funded by NASA's Near-Earth Object Observations Program, which regularly tracks potentially dangerous asteroids for the Planetary Defense Coordination Office that oversees the agency's Planetary Defense Program.

There's something weird going on with Ultima Thule, the distant object that NASA's New Horizons spacecraft will fly by just 10 days from now.
New Horizonsteam members don't think the 23-mile-wide (37 kilometers) Ultima is spherical; rather, the available data suggest that it's elongated or is perhaps even composed of two close-orbiting bodies. So, mission scientists were expecting to see a substantial "light curve" from Ultima: significant changes in brightness corresponding to different orientations of the object as it rotates.
But that's not what New Horizons observations in the lead-up to the epic New Year's Day encounter have shown. Instead, Ultima's brightness is relatively constant, like that of a spherical body. [NASA's New Horizons Mission in Pictures]
"It's really a puzzle," New Horizons principal investigator Alan Stern, of the Southwest Research Institute in Boulder, Colorado, said in a statementyesterday (Dec. 20). "I call this Ultima's first puzzle — why does it have such a tiny light curve that we can't even detect it? I expect the detailed flyby images coming soon to give us many more mysteries, but I did not expect this, and so soon."
Team members have come up with several possible explanations. For example, maybe Ultima's pole of rotation just happens to be pointed directly at New Horizons, minimizing the brightness variations seen by the spacecraft.
It's also possible that Ultima, which lies more than 4 billion miles (6.4 billion km) from the sun, is surrounded by a light-blocking cloud of dust, like the coma around a comet's nucleus. But an energy source would be required to generate such a feature, and it's unclear what that source would be. (The sun couldn't do the trick way out in Ultima's cold, dark environs, mission team members said.)
"An even more bizarre scenario is one in which Ultima is surrounded by many tiny, tumbling moons," Anne Verbiscer, a New Horizons assistant project scientist at the University of Virginia, said in the same statement. "If each moon has its own light curve, then together, they could create a jumbled superposition of light curves that make it look to New Horizons like Ultima has a small light curve."
If this is what's going on, it would be unprecedented. No solar system body is known to have such a satellite setup, Verbiscer said.
"It's hard to say which of these ideas is right," Stern said. "Perhaps it's even something we haven't even thought of. In any case, we'll get to the bottom of this puzzle soon — New Horizons will swoop over Ultima and take high-resolution images on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1, and the first of those images will be available on Earth just a day later. When we see those high-resolution images, we'll know the answer to Ultima's vexing, first puzzle. Stay tuned!"
The flyby will peak at 12:33 a.m. EST (0533 GMT) on Jan. 1, when New Horizons zooms within a mere 2,200 miles (3,540 km) of Ultima's reddish surface. That's more than three times closer than the probe got to Pluto during a historic encounter with the dwarf planet in July 2015.
Ultima, which is officially known as 2014 MU69, has been in a deep freeze in the far outer solar system for more than 4.5 billion years. So, studying the object up close should reveal key insights about the solar system's earliest days, mission team members have said.

Christmas is traditionally a time for travelling and visiting family and friends – and probably for dropping in on the neighbours to wish them well.
The National Archives holds Ministry of Defence (MOD) files concerning reports of Unidentified Flying Objects [UFOs] from the general public. These reports are mainly in the series DEFE 24 and DEFE 31 (redacted files are available to download from Discoveryfor a fee). They give the date, time, location and – more importantly – a description of what the witness saw. The sightings are from across the country, with the details of the person reporting the sighting redacted.
Of course, a few dark, cloudless evenings, a festive drink or two, and a dose of seasonal good cheer, may explain this selection of Christmas lights and star sightings…

The UFO reports relate to a fireball, catalogue ref: DEFE 24/1955/1
There were approximately 20 sightings of Unidentified Flying Objects – now referred to as unexplained aerial phenomena – across the South East; from Minster, Kent to Basildon and Luton. The sighting over Ashford (Kent) reports ‘like a shooting star, but not a shooting star’.
When the report came from Five Oak Green, near Tonbridge, Kent, the object was pencil-shaped, with three areas of lights. As the object moved over West Dulwich, it was a saucer-shaped white light, and very bright. In Luton the object was star-shaped, and in Basildon, four objects were seen.
The file in DEFE 24/1959/1 confirms these sightings as a ‘fireball’.

During the evening, two reports – one from London and one from Surrey – concerned a very bright / large object with a burning tail / orange yellow triangle. Falling like a shooting star, the object was later confirmed as the re-entry of space or satellite debris.
From Brighton, the report was of a cylindrical object, with flowing light from the front, and flames from the rear. [DEFE 24/2035/1].

Over the years, Christmas Eve has brought out an array of reports of strange lights and objects. On Christmas Eve 2002, while stopping at a service station on the A418, a member of the public saw an orange object with lighter coloured tail (DEFE 24/2035/1).
Someone switched the Christmas lights on in 2008 – well, 15 lights, red and flickering were reported from Wycombe; from Rottingdean, Sussex, 15 bright lights were reported coming from the Downs (DEFE 24/2627/1).
In 2009, a letter reported an orange-red ball over Suffolk. In 1990, a star-sized bright, white object was seen over Cannock. Over Shepperton, two large round shapes – bright with red, white and blue lights – were reported (both DEFE 24/1940/1).
On Christmas Day, perhaps some people are contemplating the stars, and end up seeing various sights. In 2008 over Perth, Scotland, someone simply reported seeing a UFO (DEFE 24/2627/1), while over Coventry an orange light with a tail flame effect was reported. Glastonbury, famous for its annual music festival, saw two reports of very bright red lights (DEFE 31/172/1).
In 1983 there was a report of three single orange lights in the shape of a triangle over Groombridge (DEFE 31/173/1). In 1985, a pyramid shape with two bright headlights was reported over Newport (DEFE 24/1924/1). The report from 1995 over Otley, Yorkshire was of a round object, like a satellite dish, bright like a star, with white lights around the edge. In Loose, Kent, the object was larger than the moon, spherical elongated, and very bright (both DEFE 24/1974/1).

Boxing Day
On Boxing Day, apparently people are still looking towards the stars. A report in 1996 from Blackheath mentioned three separate lights, formed at high speed, before separating. In 1990, a motorist reported bright orange and red lights at 01:45 on the M23, Junction 9 for Gatwick (DEFE 24/1930/1). The report of a cigar shape, with blue and green light at the rear, came from Hull in 1990 (DEFE 24/1940/1).
In 1991, Inverness, the sighting of a circular object, green-blue with white light, very bright, and the size of an aircraft was spotted (DEFE 24/1956/1). In 2008, someone in Yorkshire saw two parallel UFOs.

We cannot leave another Christmas without mentioning the unique festive illuminations from 26 to 28 December 1980 in Rendlesham Forest, and the report from Lieutenant Colonel Charles Halt, United States Air Force. I will leave you to read the only record of those events for yourself… but allow me to reassure you that the Ministry of Defence states there is no threat to UK air space, nor is there any evidence to substantiate the existence of extra-terrestrial life – not even at Christmas.

She stands at the lectern, looking down at her notes. Her face is grim. She appears shaken.
“At a top robotics company in Japan this week,” she says into the microphone, “four robots being developed for military applications killed 29 humans in the lab.”
Gulp! And it gets worse.
“The scariest part is that lab workers deactivated two of the robots and took apart the third.” The woman’s voice is quavering now. She manages to continue: “But the fourth robot began restoring itself, and somehow connected to an orbiting satellite to download information about how to rebuild itself even more strongly than before.”
The teller of this tale isn’t a Hollywood screenwriter. Linda Moulton Howe’s background is in journalism.
A Stanford graduate, as well as a former Miss Idaho, Howe won awards in the 1970s and ’80s for her work at Denver, Atlanta and Boston TV stations.
But somewhere along the line she became fascinated by UFOs and conspiracy theories.
“She is probably the most preeminent UFO investigator in the world,” fellow ufologist Ike Bishop said of Howe in 1998.
Howe believes space aliens have visited Earth many times, but right now she’s more concerned about robots created by Earthlings. She says the massacre of the scientists has been hushed up because “the robotics company has too much to lose, and the government wants AI robot soldiers.”
Her speech took place back in February, but it’s only just taken off online. The Independent reports that the video of Howe’s talk has been viewed more than 100,000 times on Twitter this week. The very same week, it so happens, that a mysterious drone (or drones) repeatedly dive-bombed London’s Gatwick Airport, forcing the airport to close for more than a day.
To be sure, Howe’s robot-massacre story is a tough one for any rational person to buy into. It’s apparently based on a phone interview she conducted with someone allegedly from the CIA, who told her: “This is serious s—t, Linda, but you’re not going to hear about this in the news.” When you’re a prominent conspiracy theorist like Howe, you’re going to be the target of pranksters and nuts.
None of which means we don’t have anything to worry about. Robots might not have secretly murdered a clutch of scientists in Japan – but that could change.
Entrepreneur Elon Musk, for one, believes AI one day could be a very real “threat” to humankind.
“As AI gets probably much smarter than humans, the relative intelligence ratio is probably similar to that between a person and a cat, maybe bigger,” Musk said recently. “I do think we need to be very careful about the advancement of AI.”
While driving late in the evening on December 19th in Arlington County, Virginia friends recorded an enormous object in the sky, shaped like an Egyptian pyramid. Seen in the distance is the Pentagon, which is located across from the Potomac River in Washington, D.C.
This remains unexplained in its entirety, yet these guys may have captured one of the most spectacular sightings ever in history. The exact time this was recorded isn’t known. Their explanation for recording through their window is, it was cold outside. Perhaps they weren’t thinking clearly either…

I believe this was a sign that 911 number two is in the works and is imminent. First the videos and then I will explain why this event points to 911 number two.
Ok; those are the videos, now for the analysis and why this incident is pointing to the imminence of 911 number two. First I would like to get this straight from the beginning. UFOs are of demonic origin and will play a large part in the great end times deception that will lead to the world installing the antichrist/UFO man as the leader of the world.

Ok, with those facts in mind let’s get back to the Washington D.C. pyramid UFO incident. The sightings were recorded about 4 AM on 12/19/2018.
There was a similar pyramid UFO incident over Moscow on Dec 9, 2009 which is detailed at The Big The One.
If you take into account time zones the events were 9 years and 11 days apart. That is a sign that 911 number two is imminent. The reason that I can this is because of a lot of other data is telling me that 911 number two is imminent, which I will show you now.
There was a huge amount of predictive programming pointing to 911 number two and was associated with the date 11/1/18.
Many were watching this date, but it came and went with nothing major happening. In light of the huge amount of 11/1 signals/predictive programming/signs I theorized that the 911 number two 11/1 event was for another calendar system, of which there are many in the world.
The next 11/1 date in an alternative calendar system—the Hebrew religious calendar—falls on 1/7/2019 of which I issued a watch for on 12/3/2018. Since then new information has come to the forefront that warranted the issuing of a major prophecy watch for 1/7-8/2019 for the possibility of a 911 number two nuclear event. Here is the post;
One of the data points brought forth in that post shows several decodings from the nefarious I Pet Goat II film that point to 1/7-8/2019 as the day of 911 number two.
It is interesting to note that in the original full version of the I Pet Goat II film that a pyramid UFO was shown many times hovering over an urban location after which one of its appearances the destruction of the USA was shown.
Another data point in that post highlights the esoteric decoding of the 2018 Economist cover of which 28 events have already come to pass. The last one being 5G mobile which went live on 12/21/2018. One of the events coming up that may align near 1/7-8/2019 is #31—enough said.
Hmm…a UFO is seen hovering over Washington D.C. and a few hours later our troops are being pulled out of Syria over which Defense Secretary Mattis has just resigned because he believes it is a big mistake.
I find this to be a bit beyond coincidence—did the UFO aliens communicate some information that caused this sudden troop withdraw? Will this decision play a role in 911 number two? Remember UFO/aliens are demonic so they may present information which appears good but will lead to destruction—think Adam and Eve.
Now take a look at this piece of data concerning our aircraft carriers reported by The Big The One;

WETENSCHAPDe Korolev-krater op Mars is 82 km breed en over een diameter van zo’n 60 km ligt er een dikke waterijslaag van een geschatte 2 km in. Goed voor een volume van maar liefst 2.200 km³. Fantastische foto’s van ruimtevaartorganisatie ESA tonen de indrukwekkende ijskrater. Bij ons is een witte Kerst niet voor dit jaar, maar op de rode planeet is daar dus wél sprake van.
De ruimtemissie Mars Express heeft spectaculaire beelden opgeleverd van de krater op Mars. Het Europees Ruimte Agentschap (ESA) gaf de beelden gisteren vrij. “Dit beeld lijkt een grote vlakte ongerepte sneeuw af te beelden – een droom voor elke liefhebber van de eindejaarsperiode”, klinkt het in de bijgevoegde mededeling van de ESA. In werkelijkheid gaat het om een gigantische krater op Mars, gevuld met ijs, niet met sneeuw.
De beelden van de Korolev-krater zijn gemaakt door de ruimtesonde Mars Express Orbiter. Die bevindt zich sinds Kerstmis 2003 in een baan rond de rode planeet. De ESA noemt deze beelden dan ook “een fantastische viering van die belangrijke mijlpaal” van vijftien jaar geleden. Eigenlijk gaat het om vijf foto’s die samen werden gevoegd tot één beeld, verduidelijkt de organisatie nog.
De krater is maar liefst 82 kilometer breed en het diepste punt zou zo’n 2 kilometer moeten zijn. Volgens de ESA gat het om een “uitzonderlijk goed bewaarde Marskrater”. De ruimteorganisatie legt ook uit dat de krater gevuld is met ijs door een zogenaamde ‘koudeval’. De lucht die over de krater waait, wordt door het ijs naar beneden getrokken en daalt in temperatuur. Daardoor vormt er zich een permanente koude luchtlaag boven het ijs dat zo nooit kon smelten. Ook niet in de zomer - Mars kent net als de Aarde seizoenen - omdat lucht een slechte warmtegeleider is en als een soort van beschermend schild werkt.

Onderzoekers van de universiteit van Dayton in de Amerikaanse staat Ohio deden eerder dit jaar tests om te zien welke schade een drone kon aanrichten bij een vliegtuig. En de beelden zijn vrij beangstigend.
De onderzoekers van het Impact Physics Lab wilden eigenlijk weten wat het verschil was tussen de impact van een vogel en die van een drone op de vleugel van een vliegtuig. Ze gebruikten daarvoor een vogel uit gel, een doorsnee hobbydrone en de vleugel van een standaard passagiersvliegtuig. Uit de test bleek dat zelfs een kleine drone een ernstig risico vormde voor een vliegtuig.
“De drone spatte niet uiteen toen hij de vleugel in volle vlucht raakte”, aldus onderzoeker Kevin Poormon van het Impact Physics Lab. “In de plaats scheurde hij de vleugel open, dreef hij zich naar binnen en beschadigde hij de interne structuur aanzienlijk.”
Het lab doet al 40 jaar tests met vogels en bracht de schade die de dieren kunnen toebrengen al uitgebreid in kaart. “Drones wegen ongeveer evenveel als sommige vogels. Het aantal hobbydrones neemt fors toe en dat betekent dat ook het risico op een rampzalig ongeval stijgt. Het is een kwestie van tijd eer een drone eens aanzienlijke schade aanricht bij een bemand vliegtuig.”

WETENSCHAP & PLANEETDe Amerikaanse ruimtevaartorganisatie NASA onderzoekt een mogelijk informatielek op een van haar servers met persoonlijke gegevens van haar personeel. Dat blijkt uit eeninterne memo. “Het is een topprioriteit van ons agentschap om uit te zoeken wat er precies aan de hand is”, klinkt het. “NASA gelooft niet dat er een ruimtemissie in gevaar is door het cyberincident.”
Het onderzoek begon al op 23 oktober, maar de nota aan het personeel werd pas deze week rondgestuurd. “Na een eerste analyse heeft NASA vastgesteld dat informatie van een van haar servers met persoonlijke informatie van huidig en voormalig personeel mogelijk gehackt is”, klinkt het. “Toen het incident ontdekt werd, heeft onze afdeling internetbeveiliging onmiddellijk onze servers en de informatie erop extra beveiligd.”
De NASA is nu aan het onderzoeken hoe groot het potentiële lek is en wie er allemaal nadeel van ondervonden kan hebben. Het kan gaan om personeel dat bij de NASA gewerkt heeft tussen juli 2006 en oktober van dit jaar. Ruimtemissies zouden niet in gevaar zijn.
“We nemen de bescherming van persoonlijke informatie heel ernstig. De NASA doet er alles aan om ervoor te zorgen dat haar servers afdoende beveiligd zijn en herbekijkt alle processen en procedures om na te gaan of die nog wel toereikend zijn”, klinkt het nog.

What comes to mind when you think that giant structures built on planet Earth may also have been built on other planets? Mars used to be Earth-like, could an intelligent Bronze-Aged civilization have lived there in the past?
Dr. Horace Crater was the Professor of Physics at the University of Tennessee Space Institute, who recently retired after 40 years and, unfortunately, also recently passed away due to natural causes. He was an assistant professor of physics at Vanderbilt before joining the Space Institute in September 1975. He was promoted to professor of physics in September 1987 and has been making breakthroughs in theoretical participle physics ever since.
According to the University of Tennessee Space Institute, “He has a deep commitment to the study of very fundamental problems in relativistic quantum mechanics and quantum field theory, including the relativistic two and three body problem as it applies in atomic, nuclear, and particle physics. Over the years he has taught a wide variety of advanced courses including quantum mechanics, quantum field theory, solid state physics, and general relativity. He has published numerous refereed papers in the most prestigious physics journals. He enjoys teaching new things as he learns new branches of physics.”
Why am I writing about him? Perhaps because he’s one of the most recent examples (out of many throughout the years) who has been pushing the boundaries of false information published in science, something we see too much of today. For a reputable academician to even take on the ‘face on Mars’ subject is quite brave, but far from foolish. Dr. Crater, along with his research colleagues professor Stanley McDaniel and Ananda Sirisena, published a paper not long ago in the Journal of Space Exploration titled “The Mounds of Cydonia: Elegant Geology, or Tetrahedral Geometry and Reactions of Pythagoras and Dirac.”
A study that’sadded to the already robust evidence pointing to “artificial surface interventions” on Mars as the study states. The main premise of the article is that these structures, if indeed artificial, “provide an elegant and concise way for an intelligent species to transmit to another intelligence evidence that it understands the basics of tetrahedral geometry, prime numbers, and the quantum mechanics of the electron’s spin, thereby giving additional evidence for the possibility of intelligent intervention.”
They found that the odds against change that these mounds were simply natural formations were hundreds of millions to one…in some cases, billions to one. What really stands out is the fact that they also point out to the existing information which is already available suggesting artificial surface interventions on Mars.”

The study above primarily dealt with the mounds in the Cydonia region on Mars, and it was published. The one below was sent to me by one of the researchers, and unfortunately, Dr. Crater passed away before they could attempt to have this one published as well, as a follow-up to their first one. Anytime something like this is published in a mainstream scientific journal, by such credible and scholarly minds, it’s going to raise a few eyebrows. No matter how true something is, or how much evidence exists to at least entertain the hypothesis, if something goes against the grain or defies the current accepted framework of knowledge, it may not be published.
New Face On Mars Study
This is why I think it’s important to present to you what Dr. Crater was working on after he published the paper above because it no doubt captured his heightened interest. The new paper was called The “Face on Mars” – Four Decades Later.
“The anomalous characteristics of the so-called “Face on Mars” feature, as seen in the 1976 Viking image, was debunked 20 years ago by reference to a 1998 image taken by the Mars Global Surveyor. However ten years later, in 2008, a far superior image was obtained that shows details consistent with the original of 1976. By means of side-by-side comparisons, we show how this 2008 image gives an improvement in identification of the allegedly anomalous details.”

This one below was taken by Mark Carlotto, an image scientist with 30 years of experience in satellite remote sensing and digital image processing, who studied optics, signal, and image processing at Carnegie-Mellon University from 1972-1981, where he received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering. He’s had several positions in academia and industry. Here are some of the peer-reviewed papers he’s authored and c0-authored prior to this one.

Members of the Society For Planetary SETI Research (SPSR) have, Mark, being one of them, also recently published a paper in the Journal of Space Exploration about certain features on the far side of the moon that appear in the crater Paracelsus C. Titled “Image Analysis of Unusual Structures on the Far Side of the Moon in the Crater Paracelsus C,” it argues that these features might be artificial in origin, meaning someone other than a human being built them and put them there.
What’s so special about the image below is that, upon enhancement, it should teeth like structures within the mouth. Keep in mind that we’re looking at a structure that’s approximately 2 miles thick.

Here’s a great quote from the paper itself regarding the 1998 image above:
The effect of the 1998 image of the facial feature, released by MSSS, has been to draw mainstream attention away from a feature on Mars that could be of great cultural value to humanity and to our future search for extraterrestrial intelligence. SETI will have to expand away from only a radio signal search to searching for planetary artifacts as a standard procedure. Perhaps our discovery of ETI may be closer to home than we ever thought possible.
The study then goes on to compare a picture from a decade later, which seems very strange because they look so different. What’s really going on here? Is NASA changing/airbrushing their pictures?
Shown below is the MRO CTX image: B01_010143_2216, acquired on 24th September 2008, from a distance of just over 311 km. This image has not been processed and is presented here as obtained from the MRO HiRise website. (The incidence and emission angles are shown in Table 1.)
According to the authors, the image below “shows clearly an ‘eyeball’ in the eye cavity and ‘teeth’ in the mouth area.”
As you can see, they, among many others, are quite convinced…
Corroborating Information That Puts The Nail In The Coffin
The study makes a good point with its conclusion, outlining how the focus of the search for extraterrestrial intelligence has primarily been in terms of radio SETI. On a side note, that thought reminded me of this document, showing possible interception of communications from extraterrestrial intelligence by the National Security Agency (NSA). SETI should be considering a lot more than simple radio signals.
Despite not getting any mainstream attention, the idea that this debate was put to rest, as told by the mainstream decades ago, is simply not true at all.
The Journal of Scientific Exploration, in 1991, published a paper by Vincent DiPietro, Greg Molenaar and John Brandenburg espousing The Cydonia Hypothesis. The abstract read, “Evidence suggesting a past humanoid civilization has been found at several sites on Mars. In particular, what appear to be large carved faces, with similar details, have been found at two separate sites. Together with geochemical and geological evidence that suggests Mars was once more Earth-like in climate, the images of the objects support the Cydonia Hypothesis: that Mars once lived as the Earth now lives, and that it was once the home of an indigenous humanoid intelligence.”
That’s just one example, there are also those who have been quite outspoken, and you can see more examples with regards to this in the articles linked below, written earlier, but also go into great detail on the subject. So, if interested be sure to check them out and give them a read.
When contemplating topics as such, we always have to keep in mind that, as NASA astronaut and Princeton physics professor Brian O’Leary once told the world, “there is abundant evidence that we are being contacted, that civilizations have been visiting us, for a very long time.” He is one of the hundreds of people considered “credible” who have testified to the idea that intelligent beings have been visiting us. On top of that, we also have verified footage recently released from the Pentagon, and millions of pages of UFO released by dozens of governments worldwide.
We may not know what’s going on, but it’s quite clear that what we are told is happening, is not. There is a lot of information to consider here beyond the study, and when contemplating extraterrestrial life in general. It seems that there are a lot of people out there who believe without a doubt that we are being visited, have been visited and that this is being covered up. Human beings aren’t stupid, and all of these people aren’t simply believing this for no reason.
The truth is out there, and it has huge perceptual, consciousness, spiritual, historical, and scientific consequences. This type of thing really does leave no aspect of humanity untouched.

De onderzoekers hebben op basis van de foto een 3D-reconstructie gemaakt van het gezicht, waarin duidelijk afzonderlijke ‘tanden’ in het gebied rond de mond kunnen worden gezien. Ook is de oogholte opvallend gedetailleerd.

Als de linkerkant van het gezicht niet beschadigd zou zijn, zou de mond nog verder doorlopen, schrijven ze.
Vincent DiPietro en Greg Molenaar wezen in 1982 voor het eerst op details van de oogstructuur van het gezicht op mars.
Aan de hand van de technieken die indertijd voorhanden waren stelden ze vast dat er een oogbal in de oogholte van het gezicht aanwezig was.

We moeten volgens de onderzoekers niet alleen speuren naar radiosignalen van aliens en buitenaardse microben, maar ook uitkijken naar mogelijke artefacten die zijn achtergelaten door intelligente levensvormen.

Chinese scientists are developing a $126 million state-of-the-art brain scanner to try and find the human soul.
They will use powerful magnetic forces to observe the structure and activities of every neuron in a living brain.
The aim is to build the world’s most powerful MRI device — which may one day be able to help answer one of life’s big questions.
The mystical soul, according to many religious, philosophical and mythological traditions, is the true essence of a living being.
Simply stated, it’s said to be the part of a person that is not physical and lives on long after the body experiences death.
The scanner “will revolutionize brain studies,” said a senior scientist working on the top-secret project in Shenzhen.
The total budget for the state-backed facility will even exceed that of FAST, the world’s largest telescope in Pingtan.
“It will show us a different world with phenomenon unseen before…maybe even the soul,” one scientist told the South China Morning Post.
“We may for the first time capture a full picture of human consciousness or even the essence of life itself,” said another physicist.
“Then we can define them and explain how they work in precise physical terms – just like Newton and Einstein defined and explained the universe,” he said.
The Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology revealed the first phase of the project has been given the green light.
The technology can also help study or diagnose neurodegenerative conditions including Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s.
Current MRI scanners can only visualize objects larger than 1 mm, but the new device is aimed to visualize objects 1,000 times smaller.
However, professor He Rongqiao, of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing, was skeptical about the project.
He said: “What is consciousness? There is not even a scientific definition.
“If you can’t even define it, how do you know what you see is what you are looking for?”

1000 keer kleiner
De technologie kan ook helpen om neurodegeneratieve aandoeningen waaronder Parkinson en Alzheimer te bestuderen.
Huidige MRI-scanners kunnen alleen voorwerpen laten zien die groter zijn dan één mm, maar het nieuwe apparaat kan voorwerpen laten zien die 1000 keer kleiner zijn.
Bewustzijn
Professor He Rongqiao van de Chinese Academie van Wetenschappen in Peking reageerde sceptisch.
“Wat is bewustzijn?” vroeg hij. “Er is niet eens een wetenschappelijke definitie. Als je het niet eens kunt definiëren, hoe weet je dan waar je naar zoekt?”
De maan is een object aan de hemel die door iedereen over de hele wereld wordt gezien en vreemde dingen vallen dan ook al snel op.
We weten hoe normaal gesproken dit hemellichaam eruit ziet, maar wat als dat opeens verandert?
Als er één hemellichaam is dat we allemaal van dichtbij kennen, dan is dat wel de maan. Ook al kijken we niet zo erg veel naar de lucht misschien, we weten toch wel ongeveer hoe de maan eruit moet zien.
Het beeld verandert natuurlijk ook met de verschillende fases van de maan, van bijna onzichtbaar tot de bekende volle maan. Wat je dan ziet vanaf de aarde is te zien op de volgende afbeelding.
Maar wat als dat beeld opeens verandert?
De afgelopen dagen heeft de Youtube gebruiker Mr. MBB333 diverse e-mails ontvangen van abonnee's die zeggen dat de maan er heel anders uitziet dan normaal.
Zoals bijvoorbeeld op de volgende afbeelding die genomen is ergens in Amerika:
Het lijkt wel alsof de maan op haar rug is gevallen. Iets dat ook blijkt uit de volgende opname, eveneens genomen in Amerika.
Daar tegenover staat een opname die is gemaakt aan de andere kant van de wereld en wel in Australië waar je precies het omgekeerde ziet.
Mr. MBB3333 heeft gecontroleerd via bestaande sterrenprogramma's hoe de maan er op die locaties en die tijden uit had moeten zien en dat is niet zoals te zien op de afbeeldingen.
De maan had normaal gesproken verticaal "afgesneden" dienen te worden en niet horizontaal zoals nu het geval is.
De enige conclusie volgens Mr. MBB333 mogelijk is, is dat de maan ten opzichte van de aarde van positie is veranderd. En als hij gelijk heeft, dan is natuurlijk de grote vraag wat ervoor zou kunnen zorgen dat een hemellichaam zoals de maan van positie verandert? Als er lezers zijn met ideeën dan horen we dat natuurlijk graag.

Those of is living here know it’s nice but not a gem. However, it turns out other planets really are. Astronomers have recently discovered exoplanets formed in high temperatures that caused them to be covered with sapphires, rubies and other gemstones. Does this abundance of precious stones let guys living on these planets off the hook in Valentine’s Day?
“Perhaps it shimmers red to blue like rubies and sapphires, because these gemstones are aluminium oxides which are common on the exoplanet.”
Caroline Dorn, astrophysicist at the Institute for Computational Science of the University of Zurich and co-author of a report on the discovery published in the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, is describing HD219134 b – a super-Earth in the constellation Cassiopeia making tight three-day orbits around a star just 21 light years from Earth. That three-day year means HD219134 b formed in a much hotter environment than Earth, causing it to have a different density and a different abundance of elements. In a University of Zurich press release, Dorn explains that computer models give a good picture of HD219134 b,
“Many elements are still in the gas phase there and the planetary building blocks have a completely different composition.”
Instead of rock-forming elements like iron, magnesium and silicon, they found no iron but plenty of calcium and aluminum, along with lesser quantities of magnesium and silicon. That explains why the planet should be covered with sapphires –these are the crystallized form of the mineral corundum, which consists of aluminum oxide (α-Al2O3) and trace amounts of other elements that give them their distinctive blue color. If the dominant trace element is chromium, the combination with aluminum oxide forms rubies instead, which HD219134 b could also be covered with.
Sapphires
Will the first flight for HD219134 b be leaving before your upcoming anniversary? Even if it did, HD219134 b is not a hospitable place to be. Dorn estimates that it and two other similar super-Earths orbiting other stars could have a surface temperature of up to 3,000 degrees F. If you can stand the heat, you may sink in its low density (20% lower than Earth) and won’t be able to stand the cosmic radiation – lacking any iron ore means HD219134 b has no magnetic field to protect the atmosphere which, if it is there at all, will have a different composition than Earth’s.
However, any guy who has forgotten a wife or girlfriend’s birthday or anniversary will be willing to put up with those inconveniences to bring back a cargo bay full of sapphires and rubies, right? Unless it’s the diamond anniversary. Then you might want to visit super-Earth 55 Cancri e, the so-called “diamond planet” discovered in 2012. Except … Dorn’s study also looked at 55 Cancri e and determined it probably is covered with sapphires and rubies instead of carbon-based diamonds.
For those on a budget or who can’t wait for the first HD219134 b mission, perhaps Dorn can start looking for closer super-Earths covered with chocolate.
