Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

Wie waren de krachtpatsers die Stonehenge bouwden? - HLN.be
WETENSCHAP Stonehenge – het megalithische bouwwerk in het Verenigd Koninkrijk – is een raadselachtig monument waarvan nog vele mysteries opgelost moeten worden. Nieuw onderzoek licht alweer een tipje van de sluier en omschrijft waar de bouwers van Stonehenge precies vandaan kwamen.
Opgepast, want er volgt meteen al een spoiler: de krachtpatsers waren niet afkomstig van het Verenigd Koninkrijk. Uit DNA-onderzoek blijkt dat de voorouders helemaal van Anatolië, het huidige Turkije, kwamen. Ze bereikten het Verenigd Koninkrijk omstreeks 4.000 voor Christus.
Zo’n 900 jaar later (3.100 voor Christus) begonnen hun nakomelingen aan het indrukwekkende bouwwerk. Weet wel dat het Stonehenge-complex in verschillende fases gebouwd werd. In totaal zou men er zo’n 3.000 jaar aan werken. Omstreeks 2.500 voor Christus begonnen ze met de eerste blauwe hardstenen te sleuren waardoor het monument stilaan de vorm begon aan te nemen die we nu kennen.
Voordat de voorouders van de bouwers het Verenigd Koninkrijk bereikten, legden ze een hele weg af. Ze reisden voornamelijk langs de kustlijn van de Middellandse zee en passeerden daarbij landen zoals Griekenland, Spanje en Portugal. Uiteindelijk bereikten ze enkele honderden jaren later het noorden van Groot-Brittannië.
Onderweg deelden de Anatolische volkeren hun kennis. Die kennis was tweeledig: ze deden aan landbouw terwijl er in de meeste Midden-Europese landen nog jager-verzamelaars woonden. Bovendien keken de andere volkeren toe hoe de krachtpatsers stenen monumenten – beter bekend als megalieten – bouwden.
De twee groepen, jager-verzamelaars en boeren, leefden gescheiden van elkaar. De eerste groep had een donkere huid en blauwe ogen, terwijl de tweede groep bleker was, zwarte haren had en donkere ogen. Na een tijdje maakten de primitievere volkeren plaats voor de landbouwers, landbouwers die graag indrukwekkende monumenten bouwden.
Nieuwe cultuur
Rond 2.400 voor Christus maakten de Anatolische volkeren alweer plaats voor nieuwkomers. De klokbekercultuur zou de plaatselijke bevolking volledig gaan vervangen. Zij herstructureerden de blauwe stenen, iets minder nauwkeurig dan de vroegere boeren deden. Omdat de stenen minder grondig in de grond verankerd werden, zouden sommige exemplaren doorheen te tijd beginnen te hellen.

It isn’t a secret that Earth’s moon has been considered as a critical strategic celestial body. Looking back at history, we will find that numerous countries had planned ‘scientific’ outposts on its surface. However, there are certain documents that have only recently revealed militarization projects of the moon.
There is a requirement for a manned military outpost on the moon. The lunar outpost is required to develop and protect potential United States interests on the moon; to develop techniques in moon-based surveillance of the earth and space, in communications relay, and in operations on the surface of the moon; to serve as a base for exploration of the moon, for further exploration into space and for military operations on the moon if required; and to support scientific investigations on the moon. On June 9, 1959, the United States Government decided that the construction of a lunar outpost is of great importance to the country. Project Horizon: The establishment of a Lunar Outpost was created in response to growing interest of other nations, like the Soviet Union in the militarization and exploration of the moon. However, its primary goal was to protect potential United States interests on the lunar surface.
During 1959, the Space Race was adopting a whole new level. Two years after the initial proposal of Project Horizon, the first Apollo mission would launch, on October 27, 1961, creating a new chapter in the history of mankind. However, countries around the globe –primarly the US and the Soviet Union—werent only planning traveling to the moon and placing astronauts into orbit around the planet, their plans were way ahead of time, and they had numerous projects already lined up that would have kickstarted the militarization of our solar system.
The rapid advances in propulsion, electronics and space medicine and other astronautical sciences in the 1950’s would have allowed the successful construction of a military outpost on the moon.
„To be second to the Soviet Union in establishing an outpost on the moon would be disastrous to our nation’s prestige and in turn to our democratic philosophy. Although it is contrary to United States policy, the Soviet Union in establishing the first permanent base may claim the moon or critical areas thereof for its own.“ (Source)
The outpost was planned to be of sufficient size in order to contain sufficient equipment that would later be used in the militarization and exploration of the moon. The military outpost was designed in order to allow the survival and moderate, constructive activity of ONE person, and 10-20 on a sustained basis.
During planning, researchers considered that the outpost needed to be designed for expansion facilities, supply and operation of personnel in order to maintain the maximum extension of sustained occupancy. The futuristic project of 1959 was planned to be self-sufficient for as long as possible without any additional support from Earth.
However, not only was Project Horizon the first step of lunar militarization, the base was designed so it could sever as a permanent manned installation on the moon, which eventually would allow the investigation of scientific, commercial and military potential on the lunar surface.
The lunar outpost was intended to serve as an observation post which would facilitate –in the near future—travel between Earth, the moon and eventual exploration of our solar system and outer space.
The establishment of a manned US outpost on the moon will:
Demonstrate the United States scientific leadership in outer space
Support scientific explorations and investigations.
Extend and improve space reconnaissance and surveillance capabilities and control of space.
Extend and improve communications and serve as a communications relay station.
Provide a basic and supporting research laboratory for space research and development activity.
Develop a stable, low-gravity outpost for use as a launch site for deep space exploration.
Provide an opportunity for scientific exploration and development of a space mapping and survey system.
Provide an emergency staging area, rescue capability or navigational aid for other space activity.
Project Horizon included a ‘sophisticated’ defense system that would be incorporated into the lunar outpost. The base would be defended against Soviet overland attack by man-fired weapons:
Unguided Davy Crockett rockets with low-yield nuclear warheads
Conventional Claymore mines modified to puncture pressure suits
Take in count that all of this was possible in 1959. Over half a century later, with the numerous technological advancements, just imagine what we are capable of.
A document published by Wikileaks clearly implies that the United States had a "secret" base on the Moon that was destroyed by Russia. It's one of many interesting documents that suggest strange things are and have been happening on the Moon.
Reflect On:
Is our world really as it's been presented? There are millions of pages of documents that are classified by multiple countries every single year, how is it possible to really determine what's going on behind the scenes? Why does secrecy rule?

The idea that something strange may be happening on the Moon is not far fetched at all. In fact, given all of the information that’s now available within the public domain on the subject, it’s hard to see how it’s not a fact. We’ll get to some of that information later in this article; but first, let’s draw our attention to a strange Wikileaks document titled, “Report That UR Destroyed Secret Moon Base.”
Unfortunately, the document is not an electronic document, therefore access to its full contents is not available online. For anybody truly interested in reading the entire thing, a Freedom of Information Act Request (FOIA) may be in order.
Without speculating here, we can conclude that this is what it says it is, a report regarding possible space wars that are taking place in the classified world. The document title alone not only exposes the reality of these alleged wars, but the possibility of a “Secret Moon Base” belonging to the United States that apparently was in operation until it was destroyed by “UR.” (Soviet Union)
So, what other information exists, besides this document, showing that something strange is and has been happening on the Moon? There’s a lot of information, so it’s hard to know where to begin.
First of all, the idea of bases on the Moon have been an open discussion within the government for a long time, although the information isn’t easy to find, but it’s definitely out there. A document from the government’s own publishing office is a great example. It clearly shows one of the goals of the United States government is to build a base on the Moon, and this is as far back as 1966. (source)
A portion of the document reads, with reference to presidents Kennedy and Johnson in a statement by HON. George P. Miller:
I also believe that we can and will achieve the goal set by Presidents Kennedy and Johnson: a manned landing on the moon before 1970. My own confidence in our rapidly advancing science and technology is such that I can visualize many more dramatic achievements ahead, although I will fix no timetable for them. 1. The exploration of the lunar surface, and possibly the establishment of one or more permanent bases there.
Furthermore, decades old documents have been declassified discussing this topic, showing just how serious and far possible advancements with these intentions have gone.
Take a look at the screen shot below, taken from the CIA electronic reading room in the form of a memorandum that was addressed to the CIA director regarding “Military Thought (Top Secret)” by Lieutenant General Korenevskiy.
The document above really goes into detail regarding the importance of weaponizing space. This brings to mind another document from Wikileaks, in the form of an email that was sent to politician John Podesta from Dr. Edgar Mitchell, Apollo 14 astronaut, and Dr. Carol Rosin. It reads as follows:
Dear John, Because the War in Space race is heating up, I felt you should be aware of several factors as you and I schedule our Skype talk. Remember, our nonviolent ETI from the contiguous universe are helping us bring zero point energy to Earth. They will not tolerate any forms of military violence on Earth or in space. The following information in italics was shared with me by my colleague Carol Rosin, who worked closely for several years with Wernher von Braun before his death. Carol and I have worked on the Treaty on the Prevention of the Placement of Weapons in Outer Space, attached for your convenience.
A declassified report by the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center from June 1959 shows just how seriously they considered a plan called Project A119. In general, they wanted to investigate the capability of weapons in space as well as gain further insight into the space environment and the detonation of nuclear devices within it.
Interesting to say the least, but it’s important to recognize the intentions behind the letter, and that is the recognition that humans have brought and will continue to bring their destructive ways into space by weaponizing it or attempting to weaponize it.
With all of this documentation, it’s also interesting to look into witness testimonies from credible sources.
In the 1950s, Colonel Ross Dedrickson was responsible for maintaining the inventory of the nuclear weapon stockpile for the AEC, and for accompanying security teams testing the security of the weapons, among many other duties. When it comes to weaponizing space, which is clearly outlined within multiple documents linked above, this is what he had to say:
“I also learned about incidents involving nuclear weapons, and among these incidents were a couple of nuclear weapons sent into space that were destroyed by the extraterrestrials… At the very end of the 70s and the early 80s, we attempted to put a nuclear weapon on the Moon and explode it for scientific measurements and other things, which was not acceptable to the extraterrestrials. They destroyed the weapon before it got to the Moon.” (source)
Dedrickson is one of hundreds of whistleblowers with verified, credible and impressive backgrounds to speak up about an extraterrestrial presence. In that same interview, he went on to state that:
A spacecraft went to the rescue of Apollo 13, and they accompanied Apollo 13 on their voyage around the Moon back to Earth. And on two occasions they thought they might have to transfer the crew to their spacecraft, but they saw them safely back to Earth.
This may explain why several astronauts have also been quite outspoken about an extraterrestrial presence, like Edgar Mitchell, Brian O’Leary, Story Musgrave, Gordon Cooper and many others.
Another document from 1965 regarding the CIA keeping tabs on Soviet space plans reads as follows:
Keep in mind, this was more than 50 years ago.
Below is an interesting quote from Carl Sagan:
It is not out of the question that artifacts of these visits still exist, or even that some kind of base is maintained (possibly automatically) within the solar system to provide continuity for successive expeditions. Because of weathering and the possibility of detection and interference by the inhabitants of the Earth, it would be preferable not to erect such a base on the Earth’s surface. The Moon seems one reasonable alternative. Forthcoming high resolution photographic reconnaissance of the Moon from space vehicles – particularly of the back side – might bear these possibilities in mind. (source)
George Leonard’s 1976 book, Somebody Else is on the Moon, and Fred Steckling’s 1981 book, We Discovered Alien Bases on The Moon, also come to mind when discussing this subject.
Members of the Society For Planetary SETI Research (SPSR)recently published a paper in the Journal of Space Exploration about certain features on the far side of the Moon that appear in the crater Paracelsus C. Titled “Image Analysis of Unusual Structures on the Far Side of the Moon in the Crater Paracelsus C,” it argues that these features might be artificial in origin.
The study makes a great point when it comes to the extraterrestrial hypothesis:
A decidedly conservative mainstream scientific establishment often rejects anomalies based on subject matter alone, i.e., there cannot be alien artifacts on the moon because there are no alien artifacts on the moon (or other planets). Such a view is an example of circular reasoning, based on the belief that extraterrestrials do not exist, or if they do exist that they could not have traveled to our solar system.
The truth is, “there is abundant evidence that we are being contacted, that civilizations have been visiting us for a very long time.”

When it comes to the Moon, man-made bases may not be the only ones there.
As far as our own bases are concerned, Karl Wolfe, who was a precision electronics photograph technician at Langley Air Force Base, became well-known when he provided his testimony at National Press Club in Washington, D.C. as part of Dr. Steven Greer’s disclosure project.(source)
Wolfe’s testimony revealed that he was taken into a dark room where images from NASA’s Lunar Orbiter were being developed and stitched together into composite images called “mosaics.”
“They were doing 35 mm strips of film at the time which were then assembled into 18 ½ x 11 mosaics. Those strips were from successive passes around the Moon and they would build up a photograph ,” Wolfe said.(source)
“We walked over to one side of the lab and he said, ‘By the way, we’ve discovered a base on the backside of the moon.’”
Dr. John Brandenburg, the Deputy Manager of the Clementine Mission to the Moon, which was part of a joint space project between the Ballistic Missile Defence Organization (BMDO) and NASA, has also made some fascinating revelations. The mission discovered water at the Moon’s poles in 1994 (Source: page 16 of 18)(source)(source). But, according to Dr. Brandenburg, the Clementine Mission had an ulterior agenda:
“The Clementine Mission was a photo reconnaissance mission basically to check out if someone was building bases on the Moon that we didn’t know about. Were they expanding them?… Of all the pictures I’ve seen from the Moon that show possible structures, the most impressive is a picture of a miles-wide recto-linear structure. This looked unmistakably artificial, and it shouldn’t be there. As somebody in the space defence community, I look on any such structure on the Moon with great concern because it isn’t ours, there’s no way we could have built such a thing. It means someone else is up there.” (Quote from the documentary, “Aliens on the Moon.”)

I am mentioning this stuff because, whatever is happening with regards to the Moon, you can bet that it’s being funded by trillions of dollars from within these deep black budget programs. These are our tax dollars hard at work.
We don’t really hear about black budget programs, or about people who have actually looked into them. However, the topic was discussed in 2010 by Washington Post journalists Dana Priest and William Arkin. Their investigation lasted approximately two years and concluded that America’s classified world has:

The Takeaway
Our world is not how it’s been presented. Many subjects once and that still are deemed as a “conspiracy” are clearly not a conspiracy. Strange things happening on the moon and UFOs, for example, are one of several great examples.
It’s OK to explore these things, but it’s vital that we examine good sources and present good sources when we do so.

Er is een WikiLeaks-document opgedoken waarin valt te lezen dat Rusland een geheime basis op de maan heeft vernietigd.
De volledige tekst van het document is niet publiek beschikbaar, maar kan wellicht worden opgevraagd via een Wob-verzoek.
Het document, dat dateert van 24 januari 1979, suggereert dat er mogelijk oorlogen worden gevoerd in de ruimte en dat de Verenigde Staten beschikken of beschikten over een geheime maanbasis.
Vrijgegeven
Het stuk is afkomstig van het Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs van het Amerikaanse ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken, en opgestuurd naar Samuel L. Devine.
Hij was tussen 1959 en 1981 lid van het Amerikaanse Huis van Afgevaardigden.
Verder is aangegeven dat het stuk op 17 december 2012 is vrijgegeven door de Amerikaanse overheid.
Mysterieuze structuren
Verschillende klokkenluiders hebben gezegd dat de Amerikaanse ruimtevaartorganisatie NASA geregeld foto’s van bouwwerken op de maan bewerkt of vernietigt.
Zo schreef de Washington Times in 2001: “Karl Wolfe, een sergeant die voor de NSA werkte, zei dat op de achterkant van de maan mysterieuze structuren waren aangetroffen toen het maanoppervlak vóór de landing in 1969 in kaart werd gebracht. De foto’s werden buiten het publieke domein gehouden.”
Vernietigen
Een andere klokkenluider is dr. Ken Johnston. Hij werkte ten tijde van de Apollo-missies in het Lunar Receiving Laboratory.
Hij zou ruim 40 jaar geleden opdracht hebben gekregen om foto’s van bouwwerken te vernietigen. Johnston besloot de foto’s echter te bewaren.

If it’s springtime in the Northern Hemisphere, that means it’s time for crop circles to begin popping up in England and other places where there are large farms and people with time on their hands. Or extraterrestrials anxious to send messages using that sophisticated communications device known as the “field.” China is in the Northern Hemisphere, which makes the news from the Qinghai Province in the central northwest part of that country doubly puzzling. Instead of an overnight crop circle, residents discovered an ice circle carved into or painted on the ice covering Qinghai Lake, the largest salt lake in China. Ice messages on a salty lake? Have the aliens switching to sending messages via giant margaritas?
“On April 12th, a giant mysterious figure appeared on the ice on the south side of Haitai, Qinghai Lake Erlang Sword Festival. According to the photographer, Qing Xiu, Qinghai Lake Tourism Group Co., Ltd., the deputy general Heng Xiu introduced the picture was taken at 11 o’clock on the same day, the area is more than 100 square meters, the specific reasons for the unknown are unknown.”
Qinghai Lake unfrozen
“The specific reasons for the unknown are unknown.” Sounds like China News hired an ex-politician to write that description of a large circular picture on Qinghai Lake, a 4,489 sq. km (1,733 sq. mi) saline and alkaline lake located 3,205 m (10,515 ft) above sea level in a hollow of the Tibetan plateau. (You can see the photos of the ice circle from different angles here.) Before you ask … yes, it has a monster that People’s Daily posted a photograph of with the explanation, “The monster in Qinghai Lake looks like a dragon.” It’s also near a cave containing the Baigong Pipes – out-of-place artifacts that appear to be 150,000 years old in what appears to be an artificially dug cavern with a triangular opening. Connect those dots and it spells “Aliens!” to some, but scientists say sandstone, iron-rich sediment brought by floods and hydrogen sulfide gas could have combined and hardened into iron pyrite formations resembling metallic pipes.
What were we talking about? Oh yeah, the ice circle. Speaking of strange theories …
“This China Ice Circle is depicting Earth’s halted orbit, pushed back 5 months from December, 2003 when it encountered Nibiru in its path. As the Last Weeks approach, Venus and the Dark Twin will escape the cup. This Ice Circle shows the past, current, and future status of these planets, but unquestionably shows the blocked orbit of Earth.”
The website Zetatalk.com thinks the small circles in the ice circle represent Earth and Nibiru. Comments on the video report on the Ufomania YouTube page range from a magnetic motor to an automotive symbol to UFOs. None of them make any attempt to explain how the ice circle got there. The China News photo shows it to be near the edge of the ice (melting?) and the shore. There are some lines in the spaces of the circle, but no tracks inside or outside of it. While the brief story mentions the photographer belongs to a tourism group, it gives no indication how he got to the spot, how long it lasted, why sow few shots were taken, and what he thought it might be, other than the “reasons for the unknown are unknown.”
CGI? Possibly. A government cover-up of something it wants covered up? The Baigong Pipes are rumored to be alien artifacts (there are signs at the cave entrance saying they are) whose actual origin is protected by the government (not surprising – it’s China).
The website segnidalcielo.it gives the big reveal — a drone video from the Facebook page of Mai Tian Quan that was purportedly made by an automotive company called AION which shows that the symbol is its logo. While it graphically displays the logo being placed on both the ice and in a field, the video gives no information on how they were actually made, leading many to believe the whole thing, including the pictures from the lake ice, are computer-generated.
If the ice circle is human made, it’s impressive. If the auto company has developed some kind of aerial technique for burning circles into ice and crops, that’s even more impressive.
Not as impressive as aliens or the Baigong Pipes, but impressive.

In the photo is a long dark blue craft standing upright. It looks just like a disk on its side. And its so bright that its causing light reflections on its right and left in the photo. I believe this craft is responsible for the destruction of the Israel lander. It shot a burst of energy at the lunar lander that caused the lander to lose control and crash to the moons surface.
There is a reason humans have not been back to the moon...its because we were not invited to go back. Aliens made it clear during the Apollo missions that astronauts were not wanted on the moon. This object began to descend to the surface of the moon...the aliens spotted it and deemed it to be a threat against...an uninvited guest trying to come into there home. That is why they destroyed it. They knew it was unmanned and only research gathering tech, so they nipped it in the bud before it found any useful information that cause humans to want to come there. They do not want humans there. Only craft that have had direct contact with the aliens and made agreements could do such a thing. A simple 30 meter radio telescope could accomplish such a job.
If you look carefully at the photo you will see that the blue area of light is a solid object. Look at the enhanced photo of it and you can see that there are two thick lines running down it. That shows that this is a solid object. There is no doubt in my mind that aliens shot down the Israel space craft.

Stratolaunch, the private launch company founded by the late billionaire Paul Allen, has just flown the world's largest aircraft for the first time.
The massive airplane, which has a wingspan bigger than a football field and is designed to launch rockets from the air, took off on its maiden test flight from the Mojave Air and Space Port in Mojave, California, this morning (April 13).
"We all know Paul would have been proud to witness today’s historic achievement,” his sister Jody Allen, chair of Vulcan Inc. and trustee of the Paul G. Allen Trust, said in a statement released by Stratolaunch today. "The aircraft is a remarkable engineering achievement, and we congratulate everyone involved.”
The flight, while not officially announced beforehand by Stratolaunch, was spotted by photographers at the airport, where the company has been conducting runway tests with the giant plane in recent months.
"It was surprising. In a way, I expected it to take longer," aerospace photographer Jack Beyer told Space.com after watching the plane's takeoff, adding that it almost felt anticlimactic. "And then I realized it was actually effortlessly in the air and was astounded." Beyer is posting his views of the Stratolaunch test on his Twitter and Instagram.

The huge airplane, named Roc, took off at 6:58 a.m. PDT (9:58 a.m. EDT; 1358 GMT) and stayed aloft for 2.5 hours, Stratolaunch representatives said in the statement. Roc reached a peak altitude of 17,000 feet (5,180 m) and a top speed of 189 mph (304 km/h), they added.
The flight, which allowed pilots to evaluate Roc's performance and handling, ended with a touchdown back at Mojave Air and Space Port.

Founded by Allen in 2011, Stratolaunch is a private spaceflight company that seeks to launch rockets into orbit from high altitude using its novel megaplane carrier aircraft. The plane was built for Stratolaunch by Scaled Composites, the Mojave-based aerospace company that also built SpaceShipOne, the first commercial suborbital spacecraft.
The carrier plane is enormous, the largest ever built. It features twin fuselages and six jet engines, and has a wingspan of 385 feet (117 meters) — long enough to cross an American football field from end zone to end zone. That's about the same length as the International Space Station.
The aircraft is designed to fly satellite-carrying rockets to an altitude of about 35,000 feet (10,700 m), then release the boosters so that they can launch their payloads up to orbit.
"A historic milestone for the Stratolaunch team with this record setting aircraft taking flight," Thomas Zurbuchen, NASA's associate administrator for NASA's science directorate, wrote on Twitter. "This is about going to the edge of space and beyond!"
Stratolaunch initially teamed up with the spaceflight company SpaceX, which was going to build a modified version of the Falcon 9 rocket to launch from the giant carrier plane. But the two companies split within a year. Orbital Sciences (later Orbital ATK and now Northrop Grumman) then stepped in, with a planned new rocket called Thunderbolt.
But in 2016, Stratolaunch announced plans to use smaller rockets (Orbital ATK's Pegasus XL vehicles). At one point, Stratolaunch was also developing its own series of rockets and spacecraft, including a small space shuttle, to launch from the massive carrier plane. But earlier this year, the company shut down that program to focus on launching smaller Pegasus XL rockets built by what is now Northrop Grumman.
"What a fantastic first flight," Stratolaunch CEO Jean Floyd said in the same statement. "Today’s flight furthers our mission to provide a flexible alternative to ground-launched systems. We are incredibly proud of the Stratolaunch team, today's flight crew, our partners at Northrup Grumman’s Scaled Composites and the Mojave Air and Space Port."

Just like on Earth, there is a robust population of bacteria and fungi on theInternational Space Station(ISS) — and a new study catalogues its exact composition.
Most of the microbes are associated with humans, particularly the bacteria Staphylococcus (26% of total bacteria isolated), Pantoea (23%) and Bacillus (11%), according to a statement on the new work. Other organisms come from specific parts of humans, such as Staphylococcus aureus (10%), which is usually found in human nasal passages and skin. Another example is Enterobacter, whose percentage was not specified in the release, which is found in the human gastrointestinal tract.
While it sounds like a gross combination, the scientists noted in the statement that similar bacteria are found in mundane Earth environments such as offices, gyms and hospitals, so the space station is similar to these other "built environments" frequented by humans.
It's unclear if bacteria that sometimes cause disease on Earth, such as Staphylococcus aureus and Enterobacter, could cause disease in ISS astronauts, researchers said in the statement, because that depends on things such as how these organisms function in microgravity and how healthy the astronaut is to start. (In general, people selected for space are in great health, and work to maintain their fitness in space in exercise periods spanning 2 hours a day.)
"Specific microbes in indoor spaces on Earth have been shown to impact human health, Kasthuri Venkateswaran, a senior research scientist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and a co-author of the paper, said in the statement. "This is even more important for astronauts during spaceflight, as they have altered immunity and do not have access to the sophisticated medical interventions available on Earth."
"In light of possible future long-duration missions," Venkateswaran said, "it is important to identify the types of microorganisms that can accumulate in the unique, closed environments associated with spaceflight, how long they survive and their impact on human health and spacecraft infrastructure."
The researchers said this study is the first "comprehensive catalog" of the fungi and bacteria found on surfaces in a closed space system, such as the ISS. The researchers said this could lead to eventually developing safety measures for astronauts during spaceflights, although right now the risk to spaceflyers (if any) is unclear.
Astronauts collected the samples during three flights spanning 14 months, a time span that allowed the researchers to see how the microbial and fungal populations changed over locations and during time. They came from eight locations on the ISS, including the dining table, toilet, exercise equipment, a viewing window and sleeping quarters.
"The authors found that while fungal communities were stable, microbial communities were similar across locations but changed over time," researchers said in the statement. "Samples taken during the second flight mission had higher microbial diversity than samples collected during the first and third missions. The authors suggest that these temporal differences may be due to the different astronauts on board the ISS."
The new research was led by Aleksandra Checinska Sielaff, who has affiliations at both NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Washington State University. The work was detailed April 8 in the journal Microbiome.

Underneath the layers of vegetation covering the hills in Visoko, there are layers of concrete making up what is known as the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids.
One of the Bosnian Pyramids, the Pyramid of the Sun, is approximately one third taller than the ancient Egyptian Great Pyramid. The Pyramid of the Sun is constructed of five thick layers of concrete (sandstone slabs, almost one meter thick for each layer), with each layer containing a fifteen centimeter layer of clay in between. Underneath the concrete and clay, the inner pyramid consists of sandstone blocks.
The concrete blocks covering the hills are being excavated and samples of the concrete have been sent to prestigious labs all over the world to be tested. The tests resulted in several interesting findings about the concrete’s properties.
Under the concrete of the Pyramid of the Sun, the series of large sandstone blocks show various types of rocks (differing pebbles and cobbles), including sandy quartz limestone, when more closely analyzed. It is thought that the concrete is made from material found at a locally deposited post glacial conglomerate. Experts who examined these crystals determined that during the manufacturing process, the materials were heated to above 500 degrees. Studies done at the University of Paris discovered that the concrete material found on the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun was five times stronger than modern day concrete. The concrete was shown to be resistant to 94 Megapascals of pressure, which means it is highly compressed and extremely rigid – concrete of this strength is only available in a few very developed countries at special request. The founder of the French Institute of Polymers, Joseph Davidovits, Ph.D. performed an electronic microscopic analysis on a sample of concrete; he concluded that the chemical composition of the old concrete’s basis is a calcium/potassium geopolymer cement. He found the cement to be five times stronger and five times more water resistant than any concrete able to be made today. Davidovits is an author of over fifty patents in the field of the science of materials, and is considered an expert in the field. He holds a French Medal of Merit and has published ten books about the construction of the Egyptian Pyramids.
The construction material comprising the Pyramid of the Sun is not a normal, natural process. Dr. Aly Barakat, a geologist from Cairo, spent weeks researching all of the environment surrounding the Pyramid of the Sun. He did not find materials similar to the blocks of the Pyramid of the Sun and therefore he concluded his research noting that the pyramid is a natural hill shaped by man and covered with stone blocks. Other scientists, however are continuing to research differing hypotheses.
The genius of the builder of Bosnian pyramids, tunnels and blocks in the Ravne tunnels is reflected in the multiple purpose of these structures.
Ceramic blocks in Ravne tunnels reflections are of the advanced technological knowledge of their creators. Also, their strategic lay out contributes to the complete protection of tunnels from geopathogenic radiation. Their shapes are anatomical. Energy measurements have demonstrated the presence of beneficial radiation in their vicinity. And, finally, their surfaces are purposely done to show the relief of the terrain.
Block K-2, the most popular among them, has an intriguing surface. When exposed to various illumination, it shows clear indications of the relief of the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids. The locations of the pyramids, valleys, elevations, rivers and estuaries of Fojnica in Bosnia in the Visoko’s valley are noted.
The ‘Bosnian pyramid complex’ is a pseudoarchaeological notion to explain the formation of a cluster of natural hills in central Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since 2005, Semir Osmanagić, also known as Sam Osmanagich, a Bosnian businessman now based in Houston, Texas, has claimed that these hills are the largest human-made ancient pyramids on Earth.

In Visoko staan de Bosnische piramides. Eén daarvan, de Zonnepiramide, is zelfs groter dan de Grote Piramide in Egypte en bestaat uit vijf lagen van één meter dikke blokken zandsteen.
Deze betonblokken zijn onderzocht en monsters zijn naar laboratoria over de hele wereld gestuurd. De resultaten zijn opvallend.
Studies die zijn uitgevoerd door de Universiteit van Parijs hebben laten zien dat het materiaal dat werd gebruikt voor de betonblokken, vijf keer sterker is dan modern beton, zo schrijft de Sarajevo Times.
Geopolymeer
Het bleek een druk tot maar liefst 94 megapascal te kunnen weerstaan. Zulk sterk beton is vandaag de dag alleen op speciaal verzoek in slechts enkele landen verkrijgbaar.
Analyses onthulden dat het oude beton bestaat uit een geopolymeer gebaseerd op calcium en kalium.
Het materiaal waar de Zonnepiramide uit bestaat, is niet op een natuurlijke manier ontstaan, aldus de krant.

Dr. Aly Bakarat, een geoloog uit Caïro, heeft wekenlang onderzoek verricht rond de piramide en kon geen materiaal vinden dat lijkt op de blokken waar de Zonnepiramide van is gemaakt.
Hij concludeerde dat de piramide een natuurlijke heuvel is die door de mens is bedekt met stenen blokken.
De tunnels onder de piramide blijken op een strategische manier te zijn aangelegd. Zo zijn ze volledig beschermd tegen geopathogene straling.

NASA is een meester in het dingen verborgen houden voor de bevolking, maar soms is de waarheid te achterhalen door dingen te combineren.
Zoals, waarom komt NASA nu ineens met een waarschuwing dat de grootste bedreiging voor de mensheid de uitbarsting van een supervulkaan is?
De mensheid staat bloot aan verschillende bedreigingen die ons als soort van de kaart kunnen vegen.
Wanneer een asteroïde de aarde zou raken, dan kunnen we, een beetje afhankelijk van de grootte en waar deze inslaat, echt wel spreken van een ramp voor de mensheid. En die gebeurtenis is helemaal niet zo onaannemelijk als men ons wil doen voorkomen, want veel van die asteroïden komen uit het niets en worden soms niet of veel te laat opgemerkt.
In het programma praat hij met een aantal experts van NASA die toegeven dat ze geen flauw idee hebben over wat er allemaal op ons af komt. De eerste keer dat zij gewaar werden dat er een asteroïde in de vorm van een meteoriet boven Rusland was ontploft, was toen ze dit vernamen via Twitter.
En toch weet NASA ons nu te vertellen dat er nog een grotere dreiging bestaat voor de mensheid en dat is de supervulkaan. De gevolgen van een dergelijke uitbarsting zou er volgens hen voor kunnen zorgen dat de mensheid compleet zou verdwijnen van deze aarde.
De kans dat een dergelijke uitbarsting zal voorvallen is groter dan die van een asteroïde die de aarde zal raken, stellen zijn.
Aangezien de kans van een asteroïde die de aarde raakt behoorlijk groot is, is daarom ook te stellen dat een uitbarsting van een supervulkaan bijna om de hoek staat.
Ze komen tot die conclusie omdat blijkt uit de historie van onze planeet dat supervulkaanuitbarstingen een keer zo vaak voorkomen als een asteroïde die de aarde raakt. Ze hebben hiervoor als maatstaf genomen een asteroïde met een diameter van minstens twee kilometer.
Onder een supervulkaan wordt verstaan een vulkaan die groot genoeg is om bij een uitbarsting meer dan 1000 km3 materiaal de atmosfeer in te spuwen. Dit soort hoeveelheden in de atmosfeer zouden een ramp op aarde veroorzaken die de mensheid tot de rand van uitsterven zou drijven, volgens de onderzoekers bij NASA.
De meest bekende supervulkaan op aarde en ook tevens degene waar men zich de meeste zorgen om maakt is de Yellowstone supervulkaan in Amerika. Als deze zou uitbarsten dan zou die zeker aan het criterium voldoen van een supervulkaanuitbarsting en zou er derhalve ook voor kunnen zorgen dat de mensheid wordt uitgeroeid.
Uit de historie van uitbarstingen is te concluderen dat deze supervulkaan eigenlijk nu op het punt komt waarbij het zou moeten uitbarsten. In de praktijk weet niemand of en wanneer dit zal gebeuren, want historische aanwijzingen zijn nooit een garantie voor de toekomst.
Wanneer je bovenstaande waarschuwing van NASA combineert met een bericht dat wij schreven eind vorig jaar over NASA en Yellowstone, dan ontstaat toch een bepaald beeld.
NASA houdt zich al heel lang bezig met de problematiek rondom Yellowstone en werkt nu aan een plan dat de wereld moet redden van een uitbarsting door deze gigant.
Die plannen bestaan volgens Brian Wilcox van het NASA Jet Propulsion Lab uit het boren van een tien kilometer diep gat in de vulkaan waardoor water naar binnen kan worden gepompt. Op deze manier kan dan de hitte in de vulkaan langzaam afnemen. Tegelijkertijd zou dan de vrijgekomen hitte kunnen worden gebruikt als een soort enorme energiecentrale.
Er zouden dan ook investeerders gezocht moeten worden die hier brood in zien, want de kosten van het boren van een dergelijk gat met bijbehorende acties zou ongeveer 3,5 miljard dollar moeten kosten.
Maar, zegt Wilcox erbij: “Dit alles moet heel voorzichtig gebeuren, want het kleinste foutje kan ervoor zorgen dat deze supervulkaan juist zal uitbarsten”.
Klaarblijkelijk overweegt NASA om een groot risico te nemen om deze supervulkaan te beteugelen. Waarom zouden ze iets dergelijks doen als ze er niet vrijwel zeker van zijn dat deze anders toch zal uitbarsten?
En dan komt er nu een sinistere waarschuwing die zegt dat de kans op een dergelijke uitbarsting groter is dan die van een asteroïde die de aarde raakt.
Het lijkt er zoals gewoonlijk op dat zij veel meer weten dan ons wordt verteld en als dat zo is, dan is de vraag: wat dan?
Weten zij dat de onbekende planeet Nibiru nu dichterbij komt en maken ze zich zorgen dat de enorme krachten die iets dergelijks met zich mee zal brengen, zal zorgen voor een toch al wankele supervulkaan zoals Yellowstone?
Of hebben zij andere concrete aanwijzingen waardoor zij kunnen bepalen dat het niet lang meer zal duren voordat Yellowstone meer dan 1000 kubieke kilometer as en ander puin de lucht in zal spuwen?
De reusachtige, slapende vulkaan onder het Yellowstone National Park in de Amerikaanse staat Wyoming zal waarschijnlijk veel eerder uitbarsten dan tot dusver werd aangenomen. Uit een nieuwe studie blijkt dat de grote klap niet over honderden, maar al over tientallen jaren zal plaatsvinden. Als dat gebeurt zullen de gevolgen niet te overzien zijn.
Gemiddeld barst de supervulkaan onder Yellowstone om de 600.000 jaar uit. De laatste grote uitbarsting was 631.000 jaar geleden. Wetenschappers maakten zich tot voor kort geen zorgen, omdat ze dachten dat de eerste tekenen van een eventuele uitbarsting duizenden jaren van te voren zichtbaar zullen zijn. Maar het blijkt volgens de laatste metingen te gaan om enkele decennia.
De recentste uitbarsting van de vulkaan (die van 631.000 jaar geleden) begon toen een nieuwe lading magma naar één van de vulkaankamers werd geduwd. Dat proces duurde slechts enkele tientallen jaren en geen eeuwen zoals eerder werd verondersteld.
Bovenstaande bericht was enkele maanden geleden en nu verschijnen er berichten dat een enorme groot stuk van gesmolten rots (magma) met een lengte van ongeveer 750 kilometer lengte zich langzaam naar boven werkt.
Het is min of meer een gegeven dat deze supervulkaan op een bepaald moment tot uitbarsting komt. En nu kunnen wetenschappers wel vol zelfvertrouwen verklaren dat het minstens enkele decennia zal duren voordat er een uitbarsting komt, nadat de eerste tekenen zijn waargenomen, maar eerst dachten ze dat het duizenden jaren zouden zijn en daar zaten ze ook finaal naast.
Kortom, niemand weet wanneer dit soort monsters echt zullen uitbarsten, maar waar wel iedereen het over eens is, is dat wanneer dit gebeurt, het een ramp voor de wereld zal zijn.
Een uitbarsting zou onmiddellijk een einde maken aan alle klimaatakkoorden die ooit door idioten zijn bedacht, want de wereld zou terechtkomen in wat men noemt een vulkanische winter. Het zonlicht zou worden geblokkeerd door de miljoenen kubieke meter puin en as dat de atmosfeer in wordt geslingerd. De temperaturen op aarde zouden aanzienlijk dalen, oogsten zouden mislukken en miljarden mensen zouden omkomen van de honger.
Feit is dat de afgelopen maanden de activiteit van en rond de Yellowstone supervulkaan zijn toegenomen. Dat wil uiteraard niet zeggen dat deze morgen zal uitbarsten, maar het is wel degelijk iets om nauwlettend te blijven volgen.
In a new book, published through my August Night imprint, MJ Banias presents a nuanced exploration of the UFO phenomenon and the community that seeks to understand it. MJ’s book, The UFO People, is distinct from the bulk of UFO literature in that he approaches his subject through the lenses of cultural studies and philosophy. But MJ is no armchair researcher. A former MUFON investigator in his native Canada, he has interviewed many witnesses to UFO phenomena and has not shied away from throwing tough questions at some of the most enigmatic and controversial figures in and around the field of UFOlogy. MJ has been interviewed on numerous podcasts and radio shows, and his work has been featured in Fortean Times and FATE magazines. He maintains a popular blog, Terra Obscura, which critically examines the culture, people, and ideas that shape how society responds to the inexplicable.
Here, MJ talks to me about UFOs, the people who see and believe in them, and the community of outsiders whose identities are bound up in a relentless search for a “truth” that seems tantalisingly and forever beyond our reach and understanding…
RG: Is it possible to separate the UFO phenomenon from UFO culture, or is the culture intrinsic to our understanding of the phenomenon?
MJB: It is impossible to separate social and cultural ideologies from “objective” phenomena. All knowledge, understanding, ideas, and objects are subject to the meaning imparted upon them by our collective cultural milieu. The UFO phenomenon is no different. Our systems of language, values, beliefs, political and economic structures all lend to what we understand the UFO phenomenon to be. Moreover, when we look at the UFO narrative, it is clear that the cultural and social zeitgeist of a given time seems to shape the UFO phenomenon itself. UFOs are a part of us, and we are a part of them.
RG: What excites you most about the UFO subculture, and what frustrates you about it?
MJB: That is a funny question, because the answer is the same for both. The UFO subculture is exciting because it is a perfect anarchy. It has no locus of control, no established hierarchy or structure of power. There is no ivory tower which governs what is and is not UFO discourse. Rather, the UFO subculture is totally democratized. Ideas and meanings, and, perhaps most importantly, power, floats around between different players and groups. It is completely counter-cultural. By its very nature, it challenges established mainstream systems (such as academia or capitalism, for example). There is a beauty in chaos. However, this chaos is also problematic. Since there is no set structure, since it is total anarchy, very little can ever be accomplished. Our current understanding of “progress” does not fit into the UFO discourse or community. Nothing has really been solved. If anything, the mystery is only greater now.

RG: Do you see any similarities between the UFO subculture and other anomalistic communities, such as cryptozoology and the paranormal? To what extent do these communities overlap?
MJB: There is significant connection between these communities. John Keel presented this notion fairly early on in his books Operation: Trojan Horse and The Mothman Prophecies. When one takes a step back to look at the entire UFO narrative, there are many connections between cryptozoology, paranormal research and general Forteana and anomalistics. While there may be some within these communities who do not like to be lumped together, there is significant lore across all those narratives that threads them together.
Where I think UFOs are uniquely interesting is how they affect political and economic power systems. No one worries about Bigfoot invading the planet or ghosts presenting technology which will undo the foundations of modern Capital. UFOs create a sort of political disruption which leads to often ridiculous conspiracy theories. Moreover, there are significant links between modern conspiracies political movements and right wing Neo-Nazism, among other similar ideological groups. I touch on this in my book, but I think it warrants much more study.
RG: In your book, you interview some of the most interesting and controversial figures in the UFO scene, albeit they are several steps removed from the scene, observing from the sidelines as they pursue their own research and agendas. Who are these individuals, and what did your learn from them?
MJB: We often hear about this shadowy group dubbed “the invisible college” or “the insiders” or “the invisibles.” They have become as mythologized as UFOs themselves. This “college” is a loose collection of individuals, some of whom know each other, but most do not. They all pursue the “paranormal” in some way, but they do so in secret, primarily because their professional careers would be affected. I spoke to several such individuals for my book, but only three allowed me to publish their names. They are Dr. Christopher “Kit” Green, Dr. Hal Puthoff and Dr. Garry Nolan.
The work that they do pushes science to the outer fringes, but they do it because they, like the rest of us, want answers. My book provides a deep look into their projects and their thoughts on the UFO enigma, as well as the UFO community itself. The book explores the military and intelligence interests in their work, how human health has been affected by the phenomenon, and how their work may reshape our understanding of what it means to be human. While their work is impressive, and is gaining significant attention within UFO circles, they are just people. Most of them want to be left alone to their work, and live in the ghostly realm in between their professional careers and their personal interests.

RG: Why should UFO researchers read your book? What does it contribute to the knowledge and debate?
MJB: Many UFO researchers will undoubtedly be offended by my book because it calls into question the very ideology which drives them. The book is not so much about UFOs as it is about people. It challenges what we believe UFOs to be and highlights one key truth: no one has any clue what is going on.
The book explores how we make meaning, and that UFOs seem to shape themselves to our interpretation of them. When it comes to UFO research and “knowledge,” the book uses contemporary philosophy to challenge our ufological assumptions. UFOs, in simple terms, are ghosts in our society. They are a symbiotic mix of reality and mythology—they exist and do not exist. Moreover, UFO researchers fall victim to this spectrality. In chasing ghosts, we become ghosts.

RG: Your book features original essays by a number of respected researchers. Who are they and what have they contributed?
MJB: My book features three contributions from four writers. The first is a chapter by A. J. McCormick, who is an experiencer. She is featured prominently in the first part of my book. I’ve also included a groundbreaking essay by Allison Jornlin, which presents her current research into the historical roots of paranormal studies in the context of gender politics. Finally, a joint essay by Paul Dean and Barry Greenwood — two of the best UFO historians alive today — provides a concise and essential history of the UFO phenomenon, and specifically the Extraterrestrial Hypothesis (ETH).
RG: Do you consider yourself part of the UFO community, or are you a removed observer?
MJB: Perhaps this is really what the book is about. Is the UFO community real? Does it exist? Or, are we simply phantoms wandering in between our daily official reality and some counter-cultural netherworld?
I am a member of the community. I’m not sure how or where I fit though. I am not a ufologist. I am not a UFO researcher, per se. While I do study UFOs and the paranormal, I focus more on the people, and how they interact on a cultural and philosophical level with strange phenomena.

RG: What do you hope to achieve through your work?
MJB: I want the community to think critically. Moreover, to have the community reflect on the philosophical nature of the UFO phenomenon and discourse. I want to begin chipping away at the idea that UFOs and other associated phenomena are ghosts within the human machine, and vice versa, this paranormality is inherently a part of us.
RG: Have you drawn any conclusions about the underlying nature of the UFO phenomenon? Is there an ontological reality behind UFOs, or is it purely a sociocultural phenomenon?
MJB: The only sane answer here is “I don’t know.” Do I believe that people experience anomalies and bizarre events that are objective, that is, outside of their own minds? Yes. Something strange is going on. Beyond that, the data is far too chaotic to ascertain any knowable facts. UFO discourse is a spectrum of prosaic lights in the sky to episodes of incredible high strangeness.
As I mentioned earlier, UFOs and other paranormal phenomena are inherently tied to humanity. We give UFOs meaning, we provide for them a place and space to manifest and “be.” However, that is not the whole story. Those phenomena come from somewhere, from some unknown source. Something is made real so it can be seen or gives of a radar signature. Something must leave landing trace marks. Clearly, something tangible is popping in and out of our awareness.
We need to be cautious not to oversimplify the phenomenon. I am often asked what I believe when it comes to UFOs. This is difficult because my beliefs, or even “what I think I know,” is not factual or true. It is merely speculation. All claims regarding the UFO phenomenon are pure speculation. If anyone claims to KNOW what UFOs are, then they are most likely delusional or trying to sell you something. The best we can do is to keep searching for answers, and not trust anyone who says they have them.
