I was checking out the sun at the SOHO/NASA site called helioviewer and noticed a triangle UFO that was in close orbit around our sun. The sun was rotating, but he black triangle craft remained in place. The object was colder than the sun, otherwise the UFO would also be the same color as the sun.

 

About 15 years ago I read an article in the news that was about two Russian scientists that recorded UFOs flying around our sun. These UFOs they said, were often as big as our moon and made hard right angle changes of direction. They also would decrease and increase speed for no apparent reason. They said they believed the UFOs were gathering a certain rare particle created by the sun. The story soon disappeared and so did the scientists. But I remember it, so I keep looking and yesterday found this. 100% proof that those scientists were correct.

Mars may have been habitable more than 4.4 billion years ago

A new study suggests that Mars may have exhibited conditions fit for harboring life as early as 4.48 billion years ago, which would predate the earliest evidence of life on Earth by half a billion years.

The solar system’s early history was wrought with violence, filled with rock and debris flying everywhere. This is evidenced by the countless craters that dot the surface of virtually every planet, moon, and even asteroid, in the solar system. Chemical analysis shows that each of these bodies must have formed and cooled before these impacts began about 4 billion years ago, during a time known as the Late Bombardment Period.  Eventually, the impacts became smaller and infrequent, allowing life to develop on Earth — and possibly elsewhere, too.

When exactly this heavy bombardment ended has always been a matter of debate among scholars. In a new study, astronomers at Western University analyzed minerals from the oldest-known Martian meteorites. The team imaged tiny grain samples from the meteorites down to the atomic level, revealing that they are almost unchanged since they crystalized on the surface of Mars eons ago.

In comparison, samples taken from impact sites on Earth and its moon show that more than 80% of the studied grains had been altered by the intense pressure and heat of the impacts. This all means that heavy bombardment on Mars ended by the time the analyzed minerals formed some 4.48 billion years ago.

According to the researchers at Western University, the Martian surface could have been habitable around the time it is believed that water was abundant there. Based on this new timeline, the researchers believe there was a 700-million-year period between 3.5 billion and 4.2 billion years ago when Martian life could’ve thrived. Because water was also present on Earth by this time, it is plausible that life in the solar system may have started much earlier than previously accepted.

“Giant meteorite impacts on Mars may have actually accelerated the release of early waters from the interior of the planet setting the stage for life-forming reactions,” Western researcher Desmond Moser said. “This work may point out good places to get samples returned from Mars.”

It also means that there’s a chance that if there was ever life on Mars, it could have first appeared there before life on Earth. There’s also a chance that life originating on Mars may have migrated to Earth via meteorites, although this is purely the author speculating at this point.

Musk onthulde zijn plannen voor het nieuwe en supersnelle luchtverkeer twee jaar geleden al. Hij maakte zich toen sterk dat passagiers binnen het uur eender welke plek op aarde zouden kunnen bereiken. De maximumsnelheid van de Big Falcon Rocket zou 27.000 kilometer per uur bedragen. Van New York naar Shanghai reizen zou bijvoorbeeld maar een half uur in beslag nemen.

Rollercoaster

Tijdens de Twittersessie gisteren vroeg iemand aan Musk of passagiers vrij zouden kunnen rondlopen in de cabine van de raket. “Dat zou niet verstandig zijn”, klonk het antwoord. “Er zal vermoedelijk een veiligheidssysteem nodig zijn om iedereen op zijn plaats te houden, zoals in Disney’s Space Mountain-rollercoaster. Het zal op veel manieren hetzelfde gevoel geven als een ritje op Space Mountain. Je zal alleen uitstappen op een ander continent.”

Als gevolg daarvan zouden alle tickets dezelfde (tweede of economy) klasse hebben. Er zou geen cockpit nodig zijn, geen voedsel bedeeld worden en er zou geen toilet zijn. De meeste van de vluchten zouden ook niet veel langer dan 15 tot 20 minuten duren. Er zouden 1.000 passagiers per keer aan boord kunnen gaan. (lees hieronder verder)

Musk maakte wel niet duidelijk welke Space Mountain hij precies bedoelde, want de attractie in Disneyland Parijs verschilt sterk van de attractie in andere parken van Disney, onder meer in Californië en Florida. Waar Space Mountain in Parijs een supersnelle rollercoaster is met loopings, is Space Mountain in de andere Disneyparken eerder een rustige achtbaan.

Ruimte

Eerder liet Musk al weten dat de raket een soort intercontinentale ballistische raket zou zijn. Die volgt een suborbitale baan: ze bereikt wel de ruimte, maar keert naar de aarde terug nog voor ze een volledige omloop rond de planeet heeft gemaakt.

Ze zou vliegen aan een snelheid van Mach 25. Ter vergelijking: een vliegtuig dat Mach 1 haalt, gaat door de geluidsmuur. De Concorde, het supersonische vliegtuig dat in 2003 uit roulatie gehaald werd, haalde Mach 2.

Planetoïde 16 Psyche kan iedere aardbewoner schatrijk maken - HLN.be

Hoewel de planetoïde door de grote hoeveelheden ijzer, nikkel en diverse edelmetalen extreem waardevol is, is het niet vooralsnog bedoeling om 16 Psyche te gaan ontginnen met mijnbouw. Volgens NASA heeft dat een aantal redenen. Allereerst kan de planetoïde pas astronomische bedragen opleveren als het ding compleet naar aarde wordt gebracht, in stukjes wordt gehakt en verwerkt. 16 Psyche naar onze planeet brengen is onmogelijk. Wel zou dat misschien in stapjes kunnen met peperdure mijnbouwmissies, maar ook dat is toekomstmuziek.

NASA wil met de onbemande missie, die in 2022 begint en vier jaar later afgerond zal zijn, ontdekken of er daadwerkelijk veel edelmetalen in 16 Psyche zitten. Waarschijnlijk wel, zo blijkt uit metingen die vanaf de aarde zijn gedaan. De planetoïde vliegt extreem ver weg tussen Mars en Jupiter en bevindt zich tussen de 378 en 497 miljoen kilometer van de zon. Het ding draait, net als de aarde, om de zon. Een baan duurt vijf jaar. Die van de aarde 365 dagen.

De ruimtevaartorganisatie noemt de missie - feitelijk een vliegend object vol slimme meetinstrumenten -  interessant omdat mijnbouwexpedities in de verre toekomst financieel aantrekkelijk kunnen zijn voor de aarde. Omdat de opbrengst van 16 Psyche zo groot kan zijn, verwacht NASA op termijn zelfs een regelrechte goudkoorts op aarde. “Als er ooit een manier is om er via een futuristische infrastructuur  te komen en terug te keren, zullen de mogelijkheden oneindig zijn en zal iedereen er heen willen om absurde rijkdom te vergaderen”, verwacht NASA.

The men claimed they were abducted by aliens. In Mississippi, police believed them.

What is certain about the night of Oct. 11, 1973, is this: When Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker Jr. arrived at the sheriff’s department in Pascagoula, Miss., they were frantic. They told authorities they had just been abducted by aliens. Each had a puncture wound in one arm. Police tried to catch them in a lie, but it didn’t work. Both men later passed polygraph tests.

On Saturday, the riverbank where the men said the close encounter happened got a historical marker, calling it one of the “best documented” cases of alien abduction. After decades of avoiding media attention, Parker was there for the dedication. Hickson died in 2011.

In 1973, Hickson was Parker’s foreman at a shipyard. The two had gone fishing after work at an abandoned boat launch and were still there after the sun went down.

“I was just getting ready to get some more bait,” Hickson told The Washington Post in 1975, “when I heard a kind of zipping sound. I looked up and saw a blue flashing light. Calvin turned around too. We saw a 30-foot-long object with a little dome on top.”

As it hovered just above the ground, three small creatures emerged, also hovering, he said. The men were suddenly paralyzed. The creatures grabbed them with pincer-type claws and pulled them toward the object, he said.

“I floated inside,” Parker told the Biloxi Sun Herald in 2018.

Hickson said they were subjected to a physical examination by something that looked like a “big eye,” a constant mechanical sound buzzing the whole time.

And then, they were dropped off, right back in the dark delta where they started. Hickson found Parker standing up, arms raised to the sky and screaming, he told The Post. They ran for help.

At first, sheriff’s investigators thought the men had been drunk. Or lying. After interviewing the men, they left the room with a recorder secretly taping, hoping to catch the pair dropping the act once they left.

But they didn’t. They kept on talking about what they had seen and how scared they were.

“We did everything we knew to try to break their stories,” Jackson County Sheriff’s Capt. Glen Ryder told The Post in 1975. “If they were lying to me, they should be in Hollywood.”

Overnight, it was national news. There were news conferences and cameras thrust in their still-stunned faces. A “UFO investigator” from Northwestern University flew down and said their story checked out. Skeptics called them liars, or said Hickson had an episode of sleep paralysis with hypnagogic hallucinations, while Parker was “highly suggestible.” Believers flooded into Pascagoula by the thousands, wrapped in aluminum foil and sitting all night on the hoods of their cars, waiting for visitors from another world.

Hickson was 42 at the time, and was well-known in the community, so perhaps he felt more able to handle the media crush. He recounted the experience to anyone who would listen. He went on Johnny Carson and Dick Cavett. He published a book in 1983.

Parker, on the other hand, was 18 or 19 when it happened. He had just arrived in Pascagoula from an even smaller town and had planned to earn some extra money before returning home to get married. He told the media he had passed out at the beginning of the whole affair and couldn’t remember what happened.

That was the only lie he told, he said to the Sun Herald in 2018. In fact, he did remember what happened, and was so afraid that aliens had infected him with something that when he got home from the sheriff’s department he took a bath in bleach. Within a few weeks, he skipped town. He got married and picked up work in oil fields. If someone at a job recognized him, he would quit.

If Hickson was trying to get rich from the story, it didn’t work. Parker told the Sun Herald that before Hickson’s death in 2011, he occasionally paid the older man’s electric bill.

Parker, now in his 60s, slowly came out of hiding in recent years, and in 2018, published a book of his own.

In March, as the city was discussing plans for the marker, new witnesses emerged, telling the Mississippi Clarion-Ledger that on the night in question, they saw an unidentified flying object with flashing blue lights going up and down the Pascagoula River. They said they kept it secret all these years because they were afraid of people’s reactions.

One of them, Maria Blair, told the Clarion-Ledger: “The story is very true. That’s what has bothered me for 45 years. It’s been on my mind for 45 years.”

Did 14-foot giants exist? Did they differ from humans? Author explores these ancient beings

Everyone knows the first line of the English fairy tale, “Fee Fi Fo Fum.”

But how many know the rest of the verse, which gets a little dark:

“I smell the blood of an Englishman/ Be he alive, or be he dead/ I'll grind his bones to make my bread.”

What the hell kind of bedtime story is that?

Actually, it derives from the early 18th century tale of Jack and a cannibalistic giant called “Jack the Giant Killer.” The origins of that can be traced through oral histories to prehistoric England, when giants may have roamed not just the UK, but the Earth.

The 16th century scribe, Raphael Holinshed, wrote in “Chronicles of England, Scotland and Ireland,” that Britain’s oldest acknowledged name was taken from a prehistoric king named Albion, who ruled a race of giants that dominated the UK for hundreds, possibly thousands of years B.C.

The Bible is filled with stories of Middle Eastern giants, including the Nephilim tribe that spawned the Amorites, Emim and Anakim, who the Sumerians called the Annunaki.

Marco Polo wrote of encountering giants in Zanzibar who were “so strong they can carry as many as four ordinary men.” Mid-20th century journalist Glenn D. Kittler said of the Watusi tribe east of the Congo, “Men towering 7 or 8 feet are a common sight.”

Reputable accounts of giants come from all over the world, says Hugh Newman, co-author with Jim Vieira of “Giants On Record: America’s Hidden History, Secrets in the Mounds and the Smithsonian Files." An extinct, genetically distinct subspecies of Homo sapienswas discovered just a decade ago in a Denisova Cave in Siberia. Called the Denisovans, they lived from 50,000 to 300,000 years ago and “are known to be very, very tall,” says Newman. And their descendants could have wandered as far west as North America.

Newman, who is described on ancient-origins.net as a world explorer, megalithomaniac and author, will talk about the Nephilim, the Denisovans and giants in general Friday in a lecture titled “Giantology: Scientific Evidence For A Worldwide Culture Of Giants in Prehistory” at the annual Contact in the Desert conference in Indian Wells.

The conference runs May 30-June 3 with field trips, talks and workshops on UFOs, ancient aliens, forbidden archaeology and more.

He gave the long and short of giantology in a recent telephone interview from England.

THE DESERT SUN: So, when did giants roam the earth?

NEWMAN: We’re looking at different eras, really. In North America, we’ve got dating that goes back around 10,000 years, right up to the 1900s when giants have been witnessed. It’s quite a large range, but generally, it’s anywhere from around 1000 B.C. to around 900 A.D.

How tall are we talking?

Anywhere between 7-foot – that’s the lower limit of what we call a giant. We have one account of up to 18 feet, but we don’t think that’s for real. Probably about 14 foot.

Would you call the giants a different species of Homo sapiens? In other words, if you did a 23 and Me test of DNA, could you find evidence of giants that could distinguish them from other ancestors?

Not really, no. There is one (piece of evidence) we get. We have elements of up to 3 or 4 percent of Denisovan DNA within some tribes in the northern areas of North America, some of the Algonquin-speaking tribes. So, it’s thought that maybe these tall ancestors came into the Americas a very long time ago.

So, you’re saying the giants weren’t different from ancient humans, just taller?

I believe so, yeah. But we don’t really know because we can’t get access to (many) bones or DNA because of the NAGPRA Act – the Native American Grave Protection and Repatriation Act (requiring institutions that receive federal funding to return Native American cultural items to their descendants). Since 1990, it’s been almost impossible to gain access to anything to do tests. It’s one of the reasons we call the book, “Giants On Record” because we had to use the records as the evidence rather than the bones, even though we have many, many academics who actually dug them up and reported them. I personally don’t think they’re alien-human hybrids or anything like that, but, if you look into the legends and oral traditions of the Native Americans, you’ll find accounts of them interbreeding with the star people – people from the sky. There are stories within some of the same tribes that ended up being giants. So, it is quite strange.

Where did most of the giants roam this continent?

Most of the accounts in North America have to do with the mound culture (in which North American communities over a 5,000-year period built earthen mounds for ceremonial and elite residential purposes), based around the Ohio Valley, down the Mississippi (River) and splitting into different parts of the country. Whether they’re the Adenas, who are the earliest (from 500 B.C.E to 100 A.D. in southern Ohio), or the Hopewell (known as the Mound Builders, from 200-500 B.C.) or the Fort Ancient (who built the Alligator and Serpent mounds in Southern Ohio, 1000-1750 A.D.), we have mound culture sites going back to 4,000 B.C. And we have very early evidence of giants in the Southwest that have nothing to do with mounds. We have red-haired mummies found in Lovelock Cave in Nevada (discovered in 1911 and corresponding to Paiute oral history about a tribe of giant cannibals). Also down that way you have the Spirit Cave Mummy (discovered in 1940 east of Fallon, Nevada and linked by DNA to the Fallon Paiute-Shoshone tribe), which is known to be 9,000 or 10,000 years old. So, perhaps these skeletons are that old. Ross Hamilton, who we call the godfather of giantology, was in touch with Vine DeLoria Jr., a Native American scholar and activist, and Vine DeLoria Jr. had access to all these elders who shared their stories going far back … 12,000 to 13,000 years ago. There are stories of mammoths hanging out with giant humans. In fact, one of the stories we feature from Vine DeLoria Jr. is that they herd mammoths like we herd cattle.

There’s a guy who I believe found evidence of giants in Peru. (Brien Foerster, giving a workshop on “Peruvian Elongated Skull People: Human Subspecies or Hybrids?” at 2 p.m. Sunday). Do you know who I’m talking about?

They found these giant long skulls, but they’re not giants. I’ve seen them. They’re standard-sized humans but their skulls are very long. It’s mainly cranial deformation. We have accounts of actual giants being found in South America as well.

There are also stories of the Anunnaki in Southern Africa. (Michael Tellinger will discuss “Vanished Civilizations of Southern Africa: Gold Mining Empire of the Anunnaki —  Fossils Of Giants and Extinct Creatures” at 2:30 p.m. Saturday). They were supposed to be giants, too, right?

The Anunnaki actually come from the area of the Bible lands. So, you’re talking about Biblical traditions. There also were the Watchers (described in the Book of Enoch as angels who lived among humans before The Flood) and they were said to be giants. They later gave birth with human females to the Nephilim, who were the well-known giants a lot of people talk about. (Genesis 6:4). There’s not too much evidence of them in south Africa. They may have gone down to south Africa to mine for gold and minerals, and there is evidence down there of giant human beings. The interesting thing about that area is we have a tribe of humans that goes back at least 200,000 years called Homo heidelbergensis. These were known to routinely be over 7 feet tall, and this was reported by Prof. Lee Berger. Also, there was a gentleman called Prof. Francis Thackeray, who had a fossilized bone that was found in South Africa (from) someone who was twice the height of a human being. Homo Heidelbergensis are the early ancestors of the Denisovans, who have emerged more recently from the Altai mountains or Denisova Cave in Siberia. This is really big news at the moment. They found these thick skull fragments and large finger bones and very advanced bracelets, jewelry technology, at least 40,000 years old. The suggestion is they spread from the Denisovans (to) North America and other places. So, there’s a sequence here.

You must have a million questions about giants. What do you want to learn most?

Well, there are a couple of things. One is, why is this important chapter in human history being completely and utterly covered up? The other question is, if you look around the world, there’s always a connection between megalithic construction, mound culture-type sites and the giants. That was part of their traditions: building these sites. At Contact in the Desert, I talk about these two things specifically. If you go back to the time of the Bible, and the Anunnaki and the Watchers and the Nephilim, we have stories that recount that they were obsessive megalith builders and stone masons and metallurgists. There is so much mythology about this subject in folklore and oral traditions, and now there is evidence actually emerging that this is actually, genuinely a thing. We have 1,500 newspaper accounts in North America of giant bones and skeletons being unearthed. We have 17 accounts of 7- to 8-foot giants in the Smithsonian’s own scientific annual reports. The Maryland Academy of Science is talking about 9-foot giants. We have universities in Texas finding 36-inch circumference skulls and so on. There’s too much data to ignore that this is reality and the people who try to tell us that this is all sensational newspaper stories or exaggerated measurements are completely wrong.

It seems like giants are always associated with the bad guys. How did that happen? Was it because of Goliath?

It could be. But also a lot of British stories — Gogmagog (last of the Albion giants) and Jack the Giant Slayer — talk about these man-eating cannibalistic giants. You also have cannibalism linked to giants in tons of myths in North America. There were Native American tribes who had to protect themselves from these marauding cannabilistic savage giant tribes.

How did these tribes of giants die out?

They just got bred out of existence, I think. I don’t really know why or how. In North America, the people that lived on that continent before the Europeans arrived were decimated by small pox. Interbreeding and lifestyle changes (have contributed).

You must get a lot of skepticism about this. How do you deal with skeptic people?

We don’t worry about them too much. They always say, “Where are the bones?” We say, “The academics took them away.” I suggest they go and talk to the Smithsonian.

What are you doing to celebrate World UFO Day? You don’t know when it is? You don’t know WHAT it is? Where have you been?

“Our main vision is to take a worldwide celebrated holiday and make people aware of the UFO phenomenon during this day. We see a future in which UFOs aren’t speculations anymore, but part of daily life.”

WorldUFODay.com seems to be the home of all things World UFO Day. The idea to hold it on July 2nd was inspired by the Roswell Incident which occurred on July 2, 1947, although in its early days (the first celebration was coincidentally in 2001) the holiday was also celebrated on June 24, the anniversary of day also in 1947 that pilot Kenneth Arnold claimed to have seen nine UFOs flying in a formation near Mount Rainier, Washington — making it the first big UFO event in the US. WorldUFODay.com promotes the July 2nd date with an event map, poster and tips on how to celebrate, although it doesn’t appear to have been updated lately.

For a more timely list of places to celebrate World UFO Day where you’ll have the highest probability of seeing one or more, SatelliteInternet.com has compiled a nice list of the number of UFO sightings in the U.S. per state (using data from the National UFO Reporting Center’s online database) and then used population data (from the last US Census – see how important it is to count everyone?) to rank them in order of most sightings per 100,000 people.

Based on this compilation, the state where you don’t want to be on World UFO Day is … Texas! The Lone Star State has 4969 sightings but its area-to-population ratio puts it at the bottom. Neighboring Louisiana is 49th (and that probably includes a few questionable Mardi Gras sightings), followed by Georgia, Mississippi and Alabama. Why don’t UFOs like the Deep South? That’s a question for ufologists, sociologists, space scientists and tourism bureaus. Let’s look at where you should be on July 2nd to see a UFO.

The number one UFO hot state in the US is … not New Mexico! Sorry Roswell fans. In fact, they may want to consider changing the date to June 24 because the US state with the best chance of seeing a UFO is Washington – home of the Kenneth Arnold sighting. Number two is the aptly-named Big Sky Country of Montana, followed by Vermont (Vermont?), Alaska and Maine. The listing doesn’t give any details on sightings – it’s just a summary but a good place for starting discussions and arguments. What about this UFO aversion to southern states? People often ask me why I think that the creatures of Loch Ness, Scotland are supernatural in nature, rather than being flesh and blood animals. Well, the primary reason is because the loch is – and has been for centuries – an absolute magnet for paranormal activity. The real story of the Loch Ness Monster is very different to the one presented by countless cryptozoologists and monster-hunters over the years and decades. It’s also a story that many of those same cryptozoologists and monster-hunters have clearly ignored. Or, perhaps, even deliberately suppressed. That is evidenced by the fact that the supernatural data is out there, to be seen by one and all, yet it has barely been touched upon at length or discussed in the vast majority of Nessie-themed books. The reason why it has been ignored is abundantly obvious: mainstream cryptozoology does not wish to see the down to earth theories challenged by the world of the paranormal. I understand that cherished beliefs suggesting the Nessies are plesiosaurs are important to many. However, ignoring key data will not help solve the mystery. In reality, such an approach will have the polar opposite effect: it will stifle research and push it down the wrong road.

Time and again, we have seen the monsters of Loch Ness tied to the domain of the supernatural. No less than the very first recorded sighting – the 6^th century affair of St. Columba – was steeped in strange phenomena. The monster’s deadly games were reeled in by the saint, who called upon the power of the Christian god to try and rein-in the creature. More than a thousand years later the monster was still plaguing the people of Loch Ness. That much is made clear by the tales of the kelpies of Loch Ness. It’s important to note that not a solitary soul believed them to have been regular, albeit unknown, animals. Indeed, the unanimous conclusion was that the kelpies were deadly, paranormal monsters that had the ability to alter their physical appearances. Such theories, and fears, extended right up until the final years of the 19^th century – and made a resurgence years later, largely thanks to the work of monster investigator Ted Holiday. And still on the issue of the final years of the 1800s, there is the not insignificant fact that none other than the “Great Beast” Aleister Crowley lived at Loch Ness’ Boleskine House. That Crowley – deliberately, inadvertently, or a bit of both – conjured up infernal, supernatural entities and helped create an air of malignant menace at the loch, cannot be denied and cannot be without relevance.

Something else which cannot be denied is the fact that when the term “Loch Ness Monster” was created in the 1930s, it prompted a multitude of reports that described the Nessies in wildly varying ways. Arthur Grant encountered a monster with distinct flippers and a long neck. Hugh Gray’s famous photo shows a creature that pretty much lacks any kind of neck; as for its head it’s beak-like. Lieutenant McP Fordyce’s monster had long legs (rather than flippers), walked on the land, and was somewhat hairy, rather than dark and serpent-like. Add to that the tusked and frog-like Nessies of earlier years and what we have is a modern incarnation of the old kelpie – a creature that could morph into multiple forms. The implication is obvious: the kelpies of old never really went away. They were merely upgraded for new generations and given a new name: Nessie.

The highly bizarre, and downright sinister, situations into which ill-fated Nessie-seeker Ted Holiday found himself plunged are further evidence of the supernatural forces that lurk and manipulate at Loch Ness. Men in Black, strange synchronicities, a mysterious and deadly dragon cult, the Reverend Donald Omand’s exorcism of the Nessies, repeated encounters near creepy old Urquhart Castle, and Holiday’s very own unrelenting descent into a word filled with magic, mysticism, and the occult all make that clear. Even monster pursuer Tim Dinsdale – hardly publicly known for having beliefs in the supernatural nature of the monsters – admitted to having crossed paths with certain, paranormal aspects of the Nessie mystery. And then there’s the matter of UFOs.

In the summer of 2015, the controversy of the Loch Ness Monster was taken to a new height – as in literally. That was when the mystery was yet again linked to the matter of high-flying UFOs. The three key players in the story were Alan Betts and his wife, Anna, and Anna’s mother, Tatiana. The family, from the English city of York, were holidaying in Scotland. It was April 2015, and the three were staying at a cottage near Urquhart Castle. While at the loch, and as is the case for practically everyone who visits the loch, they took a good number of photos. It wasn’t until the Betts returned home, however, that they realized just how weird one of their vacation pictures was. Taken by Tatiana, it appeared to show a pair of anomalous objects in the sky, right over Loch Ness. As if Nessie wasn’t enough of a mystery on its own.

Alan – the director of a refrigerating company – said when the story hit the headlines two months later that the timing of their vacation was fortuitous. The weather was pretty much perfect: that’s to say it was bright and sunny for almost the entire time. However, on one particular day, and after the Betts spent hours of checking out the area, things changed. The sunny weather was suddenly gone and everything quickly became dark and gloomy and the rain poured in definitive deluge style.  Tatiana decided to take a photo of the moody skies – something which proved to be crucial to the story. It was only after the family got back home, and downloaded their holiday pictures onto their PC, that they noticed something odd on that particular photo. It was a pair of brightly lit objects that appeared to be flying over Loch Ness, but which weren’t seen at the time Tatiana took the picture. Alan was a self-confessed skeptic, but admitted that he was at a loss to explain what the camera had captured.  Interestingly, Alan added: “Our Akita dog, Yuka, was strangely unsettled that night.”

Anna, when approached by the Huffington Post for comment on the growing controversy surrounding the photo, said: “We can say 100 percent that the camera was perfectly fine. It was raining very heavily, there were no lights in the house to resemble the objects in any shape or form.” Some commentators suspected that the entire matter could be explained away via light reflection. Both Anna and Alan felt that such an explanation was unlikely, noting that no lights were on when the picture was taken. And, at the time of writing, that’s pretty much where things stand today. The Betts are sure they photographed something unusual, while the skeptics are positive the case can be explained in wholly rational terms.

Put all of the above together and what you get – as I see it, anyway – is a strange place and its stranger creatures, and all tied to the world of the paranormal.

On Earth, butane is a gas used in lighters and camping stoves (it’s a liquid under pressure) while acetylene is a gas most often used in welding because of the high temperature of its flame. On Titan, Saturn’s largest moon that is actually larger than the planet Mercury, the temperature is so cold that these two chemical compounds freeze together to form ‘alien’ crystals that can’t form in nature on Earth. Scientists recently created these alien crystals in a lab and think they may be what forms the mysterious rings around liquid lakes on the surface of Titan. Do bathtubs on Titan have them too?

One of the things that attracts kids to science is the appeal of mixing substances together and seeing what happens … while wearing protective gear and under adult supervision, of course. (Yeah, right.) That appeal never goes away – it’s the way scientists at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory discovered the alien crystals. According to their paper presented this week at the 2019 Astrobiological Science Conference in Seattle, Washington, the researchers built a mini Titan in a cryostat, a container used to maintain low cryogenic temperatures. To chill things off, they first filled the crystat with liquid nitrogen, every scientist’s favorite form of entertainment. After freezing flowers and making ice cream, they raised the temperature enough to turn the nitrogen into gas, thus creating a Titan atmosphere in the cryostat.

Then it was time for mixing up stuff. Based on atmospheric and surface data from Cassini–Huygens flybys and landing, they tossed in methane, ethane, acetylene, butane and other carbon-containing molecules. The first things to form were benzene crystals – nothing unusual there. But then the ethane molecules combined with the benzene to form benzene-ethane co-crystals that don’t naturally exist on Earth. Following that came the next alien co-crystals – a combination of acetylene and butane that’s also unheard of in nature.

Is this a big deal? Well, it got the JPL scientists excited, as mixing things to see what happens usually does. Is it big enough to inspire governments to budget future space missions to Titan? That’s a tough one. A robotic mission to the surface would confirm that Titan’s lakes are a liquid hydrocarbon soup and that what look like bathtub rings around their edges are made of these or other kinds of alien crystals that form as the lake evaporates and the gases combine in new ways with the liquids. Does it mean there could be life on Titan? No, and that’s the holy grail of space funding as missions to nearby space bodies seem to be implicitly apocalyptic as they search for signs that either there’s life already there or they have the elements for sustaining human life and colonization.

The alien crystals are Interesting, but the days of exploring space for the sake of pure exploration are not here yet.

Will they ever be?

The island of Puerto Rico is home to a number of different religions, one of them being Santeria – which is also practiced throughout much of the rest of the Caribbean. Its origins, however, can be found in the traditions of the Yoruba people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, West Africa. While those that adhere to the teachings of Santeria believe in the existence of one, overall god, they also believe there are numerous sub-gods too, which are collectively known as the Orishas. Those that are initiated into the religion – and which are known as Santeros – are required to go through a week-long process of purification, one which involves the application of both herbs and water to carefully and completely cleanse the body. Not only that, a great deal of time and effort is expended by the Santeros when it comes to the appeasement of their many and varied sub-deities. One way in which this has been achieved (but far less so today) is by animal sacrifice – and, specifically, the killing of chickens and goats, which – allegedly – just happen to be the most favored delicacies of the Puerto Rican “vampire.”

In November 1992, three years before the chupacabra phenomenon took off big-time, a major controversy of legal proportions surfaced in Florida, where Santeria has a significantly-sized following. It’s a following dominated by the Church of Lukumi Babalu Aye, which was created in 1974. As a result, the city of Hialeah – situated in Miami-Dade County – passed a law banning the practice of animal sacrifice. In 1992, this law was challenged by the church, in the Supreme Court, no less. Anargument was made to the effect that preventing the followers of Santeria from carrying out a prime aspect of their traditions was unconstitutional. On June 11, 1993, the church won the case.

In mid-2007, I was once again on the island with which I have so much affinity. I decided that I would spend the four days at my disposal trying to get to the heart of the claims that at least some tales of the chupacabra, and its deadly attacks on livestock, might be the concoctions of groups that engaged in sacrificial activity. Since such rumors existed, they had, at least, to be addressed. Santeria has a long history on Puerto Rico: it took much of its inspiration from Nigerian slaves shipped over to the island in the 18^th century. As for the matter of animal sacrifice, this was typically carried out by a Santero who was well-versed in the many and varied intricacies of the religion. The reasons for such sacrifices were numerous and included a desire for physical well-being, riches, and good fortune. Just like each and every paranormal pact, this one came at a price: money, of course.

A Santero would rub the skin of a paying client with the body of the animal that was to be imminently sacrificed. Doing so, the followers of Santeria believed, transferred whatever ailed the person – or whatever they desire – into the body of the animal. The sacrificing of the animal was an act designed to ensure the wish reaches the Orishas, who granted them whatever it was that the person in question required. Sometimes, the corpse of the animal was destroyed; on other occasions it was eaten. As for the blood, it was served in a large vessel that is then offered to the gods.

Since Santeria has a large and acknowledged following on Puerto Rico (although, it’s important to note that the sacrificial angle, today, is largely symbolic rather than literal) it’s most unlikely that its adherents would need to pass any sacrifices off as attacks undertaken by the chupacabra. There is, however, another group, allegedly, on Puerto Rico that might find it to its advantage to do exactly that. Santeria has an offshoot known variously as Mayombe, Palo, or Palo Mayombe, but which, for the sake of ease, I will refer to as Palo. Its rituals – of supposedly being able to grant wealth, health and power – are essentially identical to those of regular Santeria.

While on Puerto Rico in May 2007 I was able to hook up with a man named Sal, who told me a profoundly disturbing story. It was around 7:00 p.m. on a bustling, hot, Friday evening and we were hanging out in a run-down, darkened bar in Old San Juan’s La Perla district. Sal, thirty-something, worked in a local restaurant. As I sat and listened, he told me a number of stories that had come to him, second-hand, by what he described as a friend in the meat trade. Admittedly, I wasn’t altogether happy about relying on a story that came from a friend of a friend (and, maybe, of yet another friend, too), but in this case, I really had no choice. Sal said there existed on Puerto Rico what can only be described as a rogue form of religion, one that practiced highly controversial rituals. The group, he added, was one that pretty much no-one knew about or was linked to. Unless, that is, you were a part of it. The rituals of the group typically revolved around the sacrifice of chickens, goats and peacocks.  According to Sal, the group began its deadly activities in late 1994, or maybe early 1995, and was focused on providing a unique service, in return for a great deal of money: a guarantee of power and wealth.

Sal said that many of the people were nothing less than major, household names: famous actors, politicians, musicians, authors, and even – he claimed – certain figures in the world of royalty. Some of the rituals, Sal said, were held in a large and spacious house, one that was owned by a rich and influential figure in the equally rich and influential area of Condado, which is situated in Santurce, a district of San Juan. Other rituals were supposedly undertaken, in somewhat dicey fashion, deep in the heart of the El Yunque rain forest. As well as sacrifices and the dishing up of dead bodies to ancient deities, wild, alcohol- and cocaine-fueled orgies were the name of the game, too. It all reminded me of something straight out of the Tom Cruise-Nicole Kidman movie of 1999, Eyes Wide Shut. I distinctly remember thinking at the time: I sincerely hope Sal hasn’t made all this up after seeing, and getting over-excited by, the movie.

As for the chupacabra connection to the story, Sal claimed that while the group was not responsible, per se, for creating the legend of the beast, the members most definitely exploited it to their great advantage and to the absolute hilt. By that, he meant – and particularly in relation to the events in El Yunque – when the group was busy killing chickens and goats in the rain forest, and then draining their blood and offering it up to the gods, it made a great deal of sense for them to spread tales of a chupacabra or several on the loose. By doing so, their controversial actions remained buried under a mass of tales of an animal-killing, blood-drinking creature that might not actually exist – or that actually might. Could Sal help me to track down the group? Nope. Could he give me its name? Not a chance. Was there anything else he could tell me? Not a thing. It was very much just a case of: here’s what I know; take it or leave it. I decided, on balance, to choose the former – to the extent that I could. Sal’s story proved nothing. It did, however, strongly suggest to me that the truth behind the chupacabra legend was far more complex and confusing than most observers of the phenomenon had ever realized.

National Geographic Photographer: “I Saw Hyper-Advanced Aquatic Alien Creatures In the Ocean”

Lu Lamar, the underwater Director of Photography for OceanX and National Geographic, made an odd claim in a video clip of OceanX.

The YouTube clip was posted by OceanX on June 15. In this short clip he states the following:

“I think, in the ocean, I have come across potentially beings from another heavenly body that are more highly advanced than humans.”

Lamar is a respected photographer with a lot of experience documenting oceanic wildlife in the deepest parts of our oceans.

This is a very interesting claim, it would prove that besides USOs and alien underwater bases, intelligent life is indeed present in the depths of our oceans.

Strange Signals Coming From Space Are Not From Our Satellites

The signal amplitude of 0.75 Janskys is very weak, just strong enough to be stronger than the background of space, Sereda continued, noting energy signatures from satellites are much stronger. “There’s no way a local Russian satellite would produce a signal that weak… forget about the idea that this is a satellite,” he reiterated.

Sereda referenced an experiment in which a compressed laser pulse traveled 300 times faster than light and required very little energy to accomplish the feat.

Sereda suggested the signal from space could have been sent in such a way, which would remove the enormous energy burden required to blast a signal in all directions from a system so far from our planet.

Moon Size UFO On Video At Our Sun, June 2019, Video, UFO Sighting News.

I was checking out the sun at the SOHO/NASA site called helioviewer and noticed a triangle UFO that was in close orbit around our sun. The sun was rotating, but he black triangle craft remained in place. The object was colder than the sun, otherwise the UFO would also be the same color as the sun.

 

About 15 years ago I read an article in the news that was about two Russian scientists that recorded UFOs flying around our sun. These UFOs they said, were often as big as our moon and made hard right angle changes of direction. They also would decrease and increase speed for no apparent reason. They said they believed the UFOs were gathering a certain rare particle created by the sun. The story soon disappeared and so did the scientists. But I remember it, so I keep looking and yesterday found this. 100% proof that those scientists were correct.

 Alien Recorded On Security Cam Walking Away From House, June 2019, UFO Sighting News.

This video was shot last week of an alien short thin figure caught on ten seconds of infrared video cam. The person is seen opening the door and walking away. This leads me to believe that it could be  her own son sleepwalking wearing a hat, however if it was her son, wouldn't she have video of him coming back home? Without video of him coming back, there is no proof its her 9 year old son sleepwalking. Its sad the video only records 10 seconds at a time. Otherwise we might have some answers to this. It does have a lot of alien features to it, for instance the hands wrist area seems to be higher, making the hands much longer...1.5X longer than they should be.  This cannot be explained. Strange indeed.
