Even a brief surf of the Net will show that there is a great deal of information on what has become known as the “Secret Space Program.” Much of it is made up garbage, created and promoted by nuts and charlatans. But, not all of it. Are powerful people controlling our access to what is known about outer space and the possibilities of alien life? A study of the available data strongly suggests the answer is a definitive “Yes!” Taking things even further, there are good, solid indications that some secret element of the government is clandestinely running a secret space program. When, on July 20, 1969, NASA astronaut Neil Armstrong took his first steps on the surface of the Moon, it began a new era in the United States’ space program. Further manned missions continued until 1972. Plans were formulated to establish a permanent, manned base on the surface of the Moon. Then, in 1973, NASA launched its first space station, Skylab. Eight years later, the Space Shuttle was unveiled. Today, however, things are very different. NASA no longer has a manned space program. The only way for U.S. astronauts to head into Earth orbit, and spend time at the International Space Station, is to hitch a ride with the Russians. What went wrong?

Some say that nothing went wrong. Rather, the theory is that although NASA’s manned space program is largely no more, there exists – maybe deep within the heart of the military – a secret group that is running a clandestine space program. We might even be talking about highly classified return missions to the Moon, and possibly even secret flights to Mars. Is a powerful group controlling what we know – or don’t know – about the secrets of outer space? Yes. UFO authority Richard Dolan says: “Over the years I have encountered no shortage of quiet, serious-minded people who tell me of their knowledge that there is such a covert program. Are there bases on the far side of the Moon? I do not know for sure, but I cannot rule it out.”

One person who is convinced that there is a secret space group is Gary McKinnon, a British man who had a ufological Sword of Damocles hanging over his head for the best part of a decade, after very unwisely deciding to hack the US Government for secrets of the UFO kind in 2001. According to McKinnon, while wholly illegally surfing around classified systems of both NASA and the U.S. military, he came across a list titled “Non-Terrestrial Officers.” McKinnon said of this discovery: “It doesn’t mean little green men. What I think it means is not Earth-based. I found a list of fleet-to-fleet transfers, and a list of ship names. I looked them up. They weren’t U.S. Navy ships. What I saw made me believe they have some kind of spaceship, off-planet.”

McKinnon was not the first to hint at the idea of a secret space group, however. As an experienced hacker of numerous computer systems, Matthew Bevan took the decision back in 1994 to uncover the long-rumored “crashed UFO” secrets of Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio. Stressing that Wright-Patterson was “a very, very easy computer system to get into,” Bevan was utterly amazed to uncover astonishing information relating to a top secret project to design and build a truly extraordinary flying machine of UFO like proportions. “The files,” Bevan said, “very clearly referred to a working prototype of an anti-gravity vehicle that utilized a heavy element to power it. This wasn’t a normal aircraft; it was very small, split level, with a reactor at the bottom and room for the crew at the top.”

Having accessed and carefully digested the fantastic information, Bevan duly exited the Wright-Patterson computer banks and began to doggedly search just about here, there and everywhere for the alien answers that he sought, including the less than secure computer systems of NASA itself. Bevan had got into the systems, he had carefully read the files, and he had then made good his escape, all without any form of detection whatsoever. Or, so Bevan had assumed was the case. History, however, has shown that Bevan’s initial assumptions were very wide of the mark. For approximately two years there was nothing but overwhelming silence. Then, on a particular morning in 1996, everything suddenly changed drastically in the life of Matthew Bevan. At the time when things began to go distinctly awry, he was working for an insurance company in Cardiff, Wales, and on the day in question he was summoned down to the managing director’s office.

On entering the room, Bevan was confronted by a group of men in suits who seemed to practically ooze intimidation. Bevan recalled what happened next: “One of the men outstretched his hand and I shook it.”

“Matthew Bevan?” the man asked.

“Yes,” replied Bevan.

The man identified himself as being with Scotland Yard’s Computer Crimes Unit: “I’m placing you under arrest for hacking NASA and Wright Patterson Air Force Base.’” Bevan was in deep trouble. On being taken to Cardiff Central Police Station, the line of questioning became decidedly curious and worthy of an episode of The X-Files: “What does the term Hangar 18 mean to you?” Bevan was immediately asked, in stern and intimidating tones.

“That’s a hoarding place for alien technology,” he replied, in a quite matter of fact fashion.

Bevan’s recollections of that exchange were more than eye-opening. “Throughout the interview, they kept coming back to Hangar 18: Did I see anything on the Wright Patterson and the NASA computers? Did I download anything? Well, when they asked me if I saw anything, I said: ‘Yes, I saw emails talking about an anti-gravity propulsion system.’” Needless to say, this did not go down too well, at all, with Scotland Yard’s Computer Crimes Unit, as it was known back then. Bevan correctly realized that he was in very hot water with the authorities, and a date was subsequently set for a hearing at London’s Bow Street magistrate’s court. But: it was not just Bevan, his defense, and the prosecution who were present at the trial. There was also a man present representing the interests of the U.S. Government and NASA.

A curious exchange occurred when the man took the stand – as Bevan remembered only too well. “As the hearing continued, the prosecution asked him what the American Government thought about my motives regarding my hacking at NASA and at Wright Patterson.”

The man replied: “We now believe that Mr. Bevan had no malicious intentions and that his primary purpose was to uncover information on UFOs and Hangar 18.’”

Bevan said: “Well, everyone had a bit of a laugh at that point, even the judge; however, when the prosecution asked: ‘Can you confirm if Hangar 18 exists or if it’s a myth?’ the man said: ‘I can neither confirm nor deny as I’m not in possession of that information.’”

The final outcome of the affair was that the case against Bevan completely collapsed. The magistrate overseeing the matter stated in no uncertain terms that a jail sentence was utterly out of the question, and that any financial punishment he might be able to impose upon Bevan would be meager in the extreme. Coupled with the fact that neither NASA nor the American Government as a whole was willing to divulge any and all information concerning the contents of the material on the Wright Patterson computers to the British court, and the cost of prosecuting the case was perceived as being as high as $10,000 a day, the prosecution grudgingly elected to offer zero evidence. Bevan’s last word on the matter: “Although I didn’t print or download anything – I read it all online – I know what I read: America has a secret space plane.”

According to a new study, life could have existed on Mars long before it did right here on Earth. When the planets first formed in our solar system approximately 4.5 billion years ago, meteors were crashing into everything and that chaotic period was called the Late Heavy Bombardment.

But now scientists have readjusted the timeline of when Mars stopped being heavily hit by meteors. Since meteors stopped attacking the Red Planet around 4.48 billion years ago, scientists believe that life on Mars could have developed between 4.2 billion and 3.5 billion years ago – approximately 500 million years before Earth became habitable.

In order to figure this timeline out, a team at the University of Western Ontario, Canada, examined pieces of Mars’ crust that came from the southern highlands of the planet. A collision on Mars sent pieces of the planet flying through space and around 120 samples have been recovered on Earth.

The team studied the oldest-known mineral grains from the meteorites and found zircon and baddeleyite that date back from between 4.43 billion and 4.48 billion years ago. The zircon had small traces of radioactive uranium which over time turned into lead and allowed the researchers to determine how old the rock was. Additionally, the rock had micro features which would confirm whether or not it had been exposed to high pressure from a huge impact.

Since the samples didn’t show high temperatures or pressure, it indicated that they were from a time after the Late Heavy Bombardment period finished. “We found none of these bombardment signatures in the Mars zircon and baddeleyite grains,” Dr. Desmond Moser told New Scientist, adding, “We know there was a giant impact on Mars, but it has to be older than 4.48 billion years ago.”

He also said, “The implication is that there could have been platform hosting life as much as half a billion years earlier than previously thought it was possible in the inner solar system.” This means that the countless meteor strikes on Mars between 4.2 billion and 3.5 billion years ago could have resulted with the waters from inside of the planet being released much earlier than previously thought. Additionally, the waters could have been “…setting the stage for life-forming reactions,” according to Dr. Moser. It’s incredible to think that while Earth was still forming, Mars could have been thriving with life.

Police Officers Close Encounter In Elmwod Wisconsin

APRIL 22, 1976. . . . . . . . . ELMWOD WISCONSIN

At around 11 pm on the evening of 22^nd April 1976, George Wheeler would spot what he believed to be an orange glow from a fire near Tuttle Hill in the small town of Elmwood. Around 60 miles from the Mississippi River and with a population (at the time) of just over 700 people, Elmwood was typical of its era of small-town America.

Wheeler himself had over three decades experience in policing, having served with state departments in New York and Wisconsin, as well as acting as a “one-man police force” in Elmwood before “retiring” to a reserve officer (essentially, filling in the current one-man police force was away). It is perhaps also important to mention that Wheeler was an experienced Second World War pilot who had seen combat on several occasion. In short, it would appear the relief police officer was a reliable and credible witness.

On this evening, however, thinking a fire was about to rip through the small town, he jumped in his vehicle and made his way to the location. Upon arriving, though, he wouldn’t find any flames of an uncontrollable blaze. Instead, he witnessed “a strange glowing object”. What’s more, this object was approximately 100 feet above the ground.

Wheeler would estimate he was around 500 feet from the hovering craft. He could see “six bluish-white lights” as well as several “windows or portholes” along the side. Even more intriguing and concerning at the same time, were the moving shadows suggesting that someone was inside this He notimammoth, silver-colored aerial vehicle.

A Brilliant Orange-White That Was “Like Looking Into The Sun!”

He continued to watch the scene develop. ced an open side-panel which allowed him to glimpse inside. Wheeler could see something “revolving slowly” which reminded him of a turbine. As his focus shifted to the bottom of the craft, he noticed several “legs” protruded from the underside. However, more prominent was the “black, hose-like appendage” which connected to the bottom of the main part of the craft.

He would radio his report to the sheriff’s department in nearby Ellsworth. As he was doing so, however, the craft suddenly rose with alarming speed. In sympathy with the sudden movement, a “bluish flash” hit the area, perhaps even the patrol car itself, causing the radio to cut out instantly. The car’s lights and engine also went out without warning.

When the radio came back to life a short while later with a voice asking Wheeler if he needed assistance, he would reply:

My God, it’s another of these UFOs or spacecraft!

Wheeler would take a few seconds to clear his thoughts. He would estimate seeing the object for no more than a minute, most likely around 45 seconds. He would also recall a “whooshing” noise as it zoomed upward into the night sky.

Wheeler would further recall that the main exterior of the craft was indeed a metallic silver color, the top was a brilliant glow of orangey-white. In fact, he would claim staring at this top part was “like looking into the sun” such was the brightness. Furthermore, it was huge. At least around the size of a two-story house.

An Attempt At Extraction Of Natural Resources

Perhaps of most interest was the black hose-like appendage. Wheeler claimed it projected downward into the trees below. Whether it went all the way to the ground is unknown. There are, however, several close-contact UFO sightings featuring similar “black tubes”. Most often, these devices are seemingly used to extract water from a supply on the ground, either a water tower or even a lake or river, for example.

If we accept, just for a moment, that the black tube that Wheeler witnessed was similar to these other sightings around the globe (with many of them, incidentally, seemingly taking place between the mid-1960s to the early-1980s), what was it attempting to extract?

There was a farmhouse nearby owned by the O’Bryan family. This means there will likely be a water supply tower too. However, it would appear that no direct activity was reported by the family. Mr. O’Bryan would claim that a little after 11 pm, the television reception went dead but quickly returned. This would likely match when the object took off into the sky knocking out the police radio and car engine.

It is also worth mentioning the testimony from a witness from another farm in the area, a 9-year-old boy would claim his sister returned to the family home that evening from “some doings in town”. Of more interest, however, was the reaction of the family dogs as she did so. Instead of running to her as they would do normally, they would purposely keep their distance and bark repeatedly.

Perhaps, then, we should turn our attention to the limestone quarry which resides in the immediate vicinity of the sighting. Might this have been the target of the apparently cosmic craft? Several contactees have claimed Earth’s natural resources are the target of such UFO activity.

“Hit” By A UFO!

Shortly after the incident, 36-year-old dairy farmer, David Moots, was returning home from dropping off the family babysitter when he saw Wheeler’s squad car parked across the road with the lights out. He pulled over his vehicle and walked over the Wheeler’s car to see if the long-time Elmwood police officer needed assistance.

Moots was aware of a past heart attack suffered by Wheeler. So when he saw him struggling to get out of his squad car he, at first, believed he might be having another similar episode. The closer he got to the car, however, he could clearly see there was something wrong with Wheeler. He called out to the relief police officer, asking if he was OK. Wheeler replied that he had been hit.

Now growing concerned once more, he asked him if a car had hit him Wheeler’s reply, however, was perhaps the last thing the dairy farmer expected to hear:

No, one of those UFOs!

The use of the word “those” is interesting, suggesting that UFO sightings were common knowledge among the residents of the town. When Moots was interviewed later and asked about this, he would claim that “a lot of people” claimed to have witnessed UFOs and strange objects in the area. So much so, that he didn’t think twice Wheeler mentioning one too. What did surprise him, though, was the claim of being “hit” by one.

Moots would further recall how “dazed” Wheeler appeared. And how he was not at all like himself.

An Orange Half-Moon Over Tuttle Hill – Corroborating Witnesses

There were, of course, several other witnesses to the evening’s events. For example, housewife, Mrs. Wergland, was at home just outside of Elmwood when her cuckoo clock announced it was 11 pm. She would make her way to the kitchen in order to take her regular shot of medicine. As she did so, however, she would happen to catch a glance out of her kitchen window.

There, opposite her home, was a “bright, orange moon-shaped” object hovering over Tuttle Hill. She would watch the object for several minutes before simply going to bed and going to sleep. When asked why she did not report the sighting or even wake her husband she claimed she had seen lots of strange objects in the area. And furthermore, her husband usually claimed they were likely “just the moon”.

Another witness, however, Paul Fredrickson would report his sighting. Fredrickson, the administrator of the Heritage of Elmwood Nursing Home was at home when he received a phone call. It was the wife of the police chief who asked that he might go to the front of his house and look out of the window. When he did, he would see an “an orange glow, like a moon cut in half”. What’s more, the object appeared to be over Tuttle Hill.

Fredrickson would quickly dismiss the idea that the orange glow was a blaze of some kind as there was no flames nor smoke. By the time he returned to the phone, his wife was now awake and downstairs. By the time they returned to the front window, the glowing object was no longer there.

Mystery Of Libyan Desert Glass: Meteorites Are Scattered Debris Floating In The Ocean Above

In theory, if there’s one phenomenon that could disprove the flat earth theory, it’s meteorites…. Though this is not really true. Meteorites are scattered debris floating freely within the sea firmament dome. Occasionally a meteor will violently pierce the dome and fall rapidly through the thin atmosphere of the first heaven in the third dimension. The proof is found in the composition of a meteor. Pyroxine, plagioclase and olivin are the three primary minerals found in both meteors and the seabed of the ocean’s floor.

Apparently, there is an ocean above and below. As above, so below.

Another piece of anecdotal evidence is the meteoric origins of Libyan Desert Glass, or great sand sea glass. Comprised of ninety-eight percent molten silica, Libyan Desert Glass is the byproduct of radioactive melting. Molded at three-thousand, six hundred and thirty-two degrees, which is the average temperature range of the thermosphere. Great sand sea glass are broken pieces of the sea firmament dome that have fallen to the flat earth. Molten glass? I’m sure I’ve read about that before.

Job Chapter 37 Verse 18 says, “Hast thou stretched out the heavens, which are strong and as molten glass.”

Below the sea firmament dome, the sun and moon revolve clockwise thirty-five-hundred miles above the flat earth. Not ninety-three-million… two hundred thirty-eight thousand miles respectively. Astronauts haven’t officially returned to the moon since 1972. Of course they were never there in the first place. Over the years, the copy and paste astrophysicists have run out of magic tricks. Non-existent ball planets don’t rotate around non-existent fireballs trillions of miles away. The physical truth hides in plain sight.

For example, the moon’s Tyco crater is visible to the naked eye. Yet it’s only fifty-three miles wide. Impossible to see if the moon were two-hundred and thirty-eight-thousand miles away. The static moon appears upside-down when viewed from the southern hemisphere because the moon never changes perspective. Only you do.

The Book Of Enoch, Section Chapter 72 Verse 1 says, “The book of the courses of the luminaries of heaven, the relations of each, according to their classes, their dominion and their seasons, according to their names and places of origin, and according to their months, which Uriel, the holy angel, who was with me, who is their guide, showed me all their laws exactly as they are, and how it is with regard to all the years of the world.

1 Corinthians 15:41 says, “The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.”

Another deception is cell phone towers communicating to non-existent high orbiting satellites twenty-two thousand, two-hundred and thirty-six miles in space. Let’s examine the satellite/cell phone relationship. We’ve been programmed to believe that when a phone call is made, the cell signal is connecting to a localized cell tower, which transmits your signal to a satellite, sending the signal to the closest localized tower of the cell phone receiver and connecting to the cell phone receiver.

Actually, that’s half accurate. A cell phone functions by communicating with towers connected to a base station in a configuration called a cell. As you move through the cell, the base station monitors your cell phone signal, transferring it to the nearest ground tower. Measuring the signal strength differences between multiple cell towers determines your cell location. All cables originating from a cell tower are underground. And all international calls are made via fiber optic cables, connecting to land-based cell towers in that particular country. Think about it. If there were twenty-five-thousand satellites cloaking the planet from twentytwo-thousand, two-hundred and thirty-six miles in space, cell phone and Wi-Fi dead spots wouldn’t exist. Dead spots are the result of the flat earth not having 100% land-based cell phone tower coverage.

 As above, so below illustrates the lie of duality and confusion. Freemasons and Knights of The Templar believe the Demiurge and Lucifer are equal, as demonstrated in the black and white trestle floor of Masonic Halls and Ying and Yang of Chinese philosophy.

The systemic lie of Kabbalah postulates that God is the total of everything: good and evil, knowable, unknowable, limitless, limited, merciful and cruel. In the beginning, Kabbalists believe God sent out an emanation of himself in the form of ten lights called the Sephiroth or Tree of Secret Knowledge. This equates to the name I Am.

The universe is comprised of layered spheres of frequencies, with the Ancient of Days ruling from the ninth dimension/heaven. To be one with the Light Bearer, disciples must pass through the nine guarded spheres, which are protected by angels and devils. Only those who know the guardian’s passwords can pass though the nine spheres. Gnostic knowledge enlightens the soul as it ascends the ladder of the Sephiroth, attaining apotheosis.

The ten Sephiroth spheres are the driving forces that move all of creation. In truth, there are ten heavens in the multi-universe.

The Book of The Secrets of Enoch, Chapter 22, Verses 1-2 says, “In the tenth heaven, the archangel Michael led Enoch before the Lord’s face. On the tenth heaven, Aravoth (the highest heaven of all ten heavens), I saw the appearance of the Lord’s face, like iron made to flow in fire, and brought out, emitting sparks, and it burns. Thus, I saw the Lord’s face, but the Lord’s face is ineffable, marvelous and very awful, and very, very terrible.” Kabbalists divide the universe into four worlds, each consisting of ten spheres, set and arranged into the Sephirothic Tree or Tree of Secret Knowledge. The secret philosophy is hidden within systemic structure of the Sephirothic Tree, revealing the mysteries of the Old and New Testaments.

James Gilliliand had no idea about the ships and the ETs in the area before he moved to ECETI Ranch. But pretty soon after he moved in they started appearing regularly.

The UFOs are often out of the range of out physical eyes yet cameras especially digital can pick up more of the light spectrum and peek into other dimensions occasionally.

Although we don't understand everything that happens, one thing is for sure, unprecedented events are unfolding at the Gilliland Ranch that have the potential to change the course and destiny of Humanity and the Earth.

Silent War In UFO Community Taking Place, Lets Talk About It. Scott C. Waring UFO Sighting News.

Hi everyone. I entered this area about 15 years ago because of the chaos I saw. I saw eyewitnesses attacked by Phil Plait who I believe is working for the NSA to do so. I jumped in and stopped him. He knows me. Thats when I became famous. He stated, "I guess I gave you your 15 minutes of fame." He was referring to an argument on his blog between me and him about how he mistreated and verbally abused UFO eyewitnesses and researchers. So I started UFO Sightings Daily site to help. 

I created an order of doing things, reporting things, rule of presenting the evidence that began to change the community. However I inspired thousands of UFO bloggers and Youtube who thought they could make money at this area, unlike me, and greed is causing them to attack each other for profit. I thought they were motivated to help, but instead I see daily attacks on me and other UFO researchers in comments, reports and Youtube channels. Such greed would only destroy the UFO community.

The is something that you don't know going on. A silent war within the UFO community that has gone untold to the public for years. For years I had comments on my blogs and then turned them off suddenly. Its because about ten different UFO researchers were each leaving rude and crude comments on my site under every post. I traced them down to their UFO sites, and asked them to stop, but it only made it worse. So I turned off comments so I could continue my work undisturbed. They thought they could scare me away from UFO research so that they could make a profit reporting UFO and alien news. 

Then my site was attacked by negative SEO, which reduced my readers from 150,000 to 7,000 over night. I asked google over 5 times to do something but they never did. Apparently UFO sites are low on their list. So I made another site ET DATA BASE. 

Now on Youtube, UFO channels are being attacked. Secureteam10 lost their demonetisation (adsence) but then got it back. Thirdphaseofmoon lost it and then got it back. But lots of UFO channels are currently reporting that some videos are being reviewed by Youtube because it might not be allowed to have adsence on it. I talked to six channels with this problem. 

Other UFO researchers are leaving rude and crude comments on my Youtube channel again. Probably because they are jealous of the attention I get or because of they are jealous of the discoveries I make. Ether way, most the negativity about my discoveries comes from UFO researchers not getting attention. 

Here is the deal, Google owns the platform my UFO Sightings Daily site is on, Google owns Youtube, Google owns Adsence. DO YOU SEE A PATTERN YET? Because I sure do. UFO researchers worldwide are being attacked by Google, which is an organisation worldwide controlling information that people are allowed to see. That Google itself is attempting to cleanup and delete the UFO community from the Internet. We are under attack by Google. 

I understand others greed for money has created a lot of chaos in the UFO research community, but why is Google attacking UFO researchers unless they are working with the US government to cover things up?

A new generation of ufologists are being inspired by military sightings and mainstream news stories.

With the Navy's recent revelation that its pilots have been regularly spotting unidentified flying objects, some of those in the UFO community who were once thought crazy now have some concrete evidence to point to. And the regular spate of mainstream news stories about UFO sightings has inspired a new generation of UFO hunters and researchers.

I'm regularly asked why I, a 32-year-old man with a good job and a young family spent six years researching the UFO subculture. Simply put, I find the culture and the people fascinating.

Ufology has always been a counter-cultural movement. Faced with decades of ridicule, the UFO community has always been the underdog. I like underdogs. But unidentified flying objects have made a cultural comeback, and the last two years have seen a huge growth in popular media coverage of this curious phenomenon and the people who explore it. It seems that UFOs have become all the rage, and this popular resurgence is inspiring a young new breed of UFO researchers and hunters.

These last few months have seen a surge in media outlets covering the UFO phenomenon. This week, the New York Times ran a story about two Navy fighter pilots who had multiple encounters with strange objects which seemed to perform impossible maneuvers. In one dramatic case, the pilots recounted a story of an object that looked like a “sphere encasing a cube” that flew in-between two fighter jets cruising in tandem just 100 feet apart.

These stories have been covered on all the major news networks and are making headlines around the world.

UFOs have always been fodder for the mainstream media. One can easily find news reports about flying saucers from the 1950s and alleged alien abductees have even appeared on Oprah from time to time. The difference between then and now is that UFOs have begun to slowly leave the gutter of tabloid journalism. The subculture of UFO enthusiasts and researchers seems to be pushing back hard against the stereotypes and taboos established by a mainstream culture that once wrote them off as crazy or conspiracy theorists.

Ryan Sprague, a Manhattan-based UFO researcher, author, podcaster and co-host of The CW’s popular Roswell: Mysteries Decoded is the embodiment of the new UFO generation. He and other young Ufologists perceive the UFO community and discourse as counter-cultural, subversive even.

“The community has always strived for legitimacy, but at the end of the day, they didn’t care what people thought about them or their theories, no matter how outlandish or ridiculous," Sprague told Motherboard. "And now, just like any revolution, UFOs have earned the spotlight after being ridiculed for so long. UFOs exist. Our government and military have admitted it. Now we take that next step and ask the hard questions.”

In my book, The UFO People: A Curious Culture, I present the idea that the UFO subculture has always been, and will continue to be, a group of dissidents who challenge established systems of power and ideology. The problem is that mainstream culture has always believed that people who believe in UFOs are uneducated, conspiratorial and delusional. That is, until now: With the Navy's recent revelations, many in the UFO community have been vindicated.

So why is no one freaking out about these revelations making front page news? As UFO author Chris Rutkowski once explained, perhaps it is because we have become acclimatized to seeing UFOs invading Earth in books and on screen. Whether you are of the Spielberg generation, watching a candy eating E.T., or a millennial who grew up watching The Avengers fight off hordes of evil intergalactic aliens, we are used to seeing this archetypal other in our media. UFOs, as a result, have become much less frightening and perhaps much more interesting. Have we negotiated UFOs into our cultural framework and identity?

Researchers like Sprague are not the only ones being affected by this new rebranding of the UFO. Ufologists come from all walks of life. Deep Prasad is the 23-year-old CEO of ReactiveQ, a multimillion dollar quantum computing tech start-up based out of Toronto. Growing up, UFOs were never really something that interested him. But after reading a 2017 article in the New York Times that broke the existence of a secret Pentagon UFO program, he became fascinated with researching the phenomenon. While he admits that the general public may be a bit slower to appreciate the cultural importance of UFOs, many people in his network seem to be coming around.

“My friends didn't think UFOs were cool for the most part, now most of them are either skeptically intrigued or deeply excited," he said."In their eyes, it's cool but it will be a whole lot cooler when the knowledge we gain from these UFOs affects day to day life.”

Talking about UFOs still is risky business because of the stigma this type of discourse carries, but isn’t this how all new movements begin? Perhaps this UFO renaissance is no different.

It seems that we can no longer question the existence of UFOs, and while the source of these strange objects is still up for debate, we are undoubtedly on the edge of something very new, incredibly cool, and very much in the hands of a brand new generation.

Mysterious Extragalactic Flash Pinpointed for 2nd Time Ever

The landmark find could eventually help astronomers figure out what's causing fast radio bursts.

Astronomers are starting to get the goods on one of the most mysterious phenomena in the universe.

For just the second time ever, researchers have pinpointed the location of a fast radio burst (FRB), a super-brief explosion that releases as much energy in 1 millisecond as Earth's sun does over nearly a century.

The lone, previously pinpointed burst, known as FRB 121102, is a rare "repeater," one that's flared up dozens of times over the past few years. But the newfound blast is a member of the much more commonly observed "one-off" class. Its discovery, which was announced today (June 27) in the journal Science, shows that these elusive beasts can be traced and tracked, potentially allowing astronomers to finally figure out what causes them.

"This is the big breakthrough the field has been waiting for since astronomers discovered fast radio bursts in 2007," study lead author Keith Bannister, of the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), said in a statement. (CSIRO is Australia's national science agency.)

Bannister and his colleagues found the FRB using the Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder (ASKAP), a network of 36 radio telescopes at CSIRO’s Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory in Western Australia. They detected the burst on Sept. 24, 2018, which explains its name — FRB 180924. (The repeater FRB 121102 was first spotted in 2012, as you may now have surmised.)

This was exciting enough, given that the total tally of known FRBs stood at 85. (Just two of those are repeaters.) But the team broke new ground by tracking their find to its source.

The researchers developed a new technique that automatically recognized FRB 180924 less than 300 milliseconds after the burst hit the ASKAP dishes. Such speed was of the essence, because the team needed to access data that's overwritten every 3.1 seconds. 

The scientists then measured the tiny differences in FRB 180924's arrival time at the 36 ASKAP dishes down to about 1/100th of a nanosecond. Comparing these differences allowed them to determine the burst's source in the sky with a precision of 0.00002 degrees — equivalent to the width of a human hair as seen from 650 feet (200 meters) away.

That source lies on the outskirts of a big galaxy called DES J214425.25−405400.81. Little was known about this galaxy, so the researchers characterized it using optical observations by the Keck II telescope in Hawaii and the Very Large Telescope and Gemini South telescope, both of which are in Chile.

The study team determined that DES J214425.25−405400.81 lies about 3.6 billion light-years from Earth. In addition, the galaxy is about 1,000 times more massive, and is forming stars much less actively, than the dwarf that hosts FRB 121102 (which lies about 3 billion light-years from Earth). 

And FRB 121102 lies near the center of its home galaxy, the region where a supermassive black hole likely lurks.

These differences are important because they show "that FRBs can come from a huge range of types of galaxies and environments," Bannister told Space.com via email. "They don’t seem to need very special conditions to occur."

FRB 180924's location also offers a few clues about the mysterious processes that drive FRBs. For example, Bannister said that supermassive black holes are ruled out for this particular burst, given its considerable distance (13,000 light-years) from the galactic core. 

Indeed, the new study may spur a significant rethink of FRB generation, team members said.

"The most credible model for bursts, built to explain the repeater, suggests they are produced by young magnetars (highly magnetized neutron stars)," co-author Ryan Shannon, of Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, told Space.com via email. 

"These magnetars are preferentially formed in tiny dwarf galaxies, like that of the FRB 121102 host," Shannon added. "Either the model needs to be relaxed to allow for bursts to be produced in a diversity of environments, or there are two mechanisms for producing bursts."

(There's always the possibility that FRBs are generated by advanced civilizations, of course. But this is a long shot, as alien invocations tend to be.)

The models will get stronger and stronger as more and more FRBs are pinpointed using the methods pioneered by Bannister and his team. And there are other exciting implications of the find as well.

For example, the amount of gas FRBs travel through is encoded in the bursts' signals, Bannister said. FRB 180924's home galaxy has relatively little gas, so the bulk of the burst's encoded information was therefore imparted by gas in the intergalactic medium. 

The gas that lies between galaxies is very difficult to study because it doesn't glow — but astronomers may now have a viable way to get a look at it.

"We have demonstrated that it is technically possible to catch one-off bursts and that they are clean probes of intergalactic medium," Shannon said. 

"The next step is to see if other one-off bursts are like FRB 180924 (originating in massive galaxies) or if they are more like the first repeater," he added. "I think they will be like 180924, and we will be able to open up a new window on the nearly invisible cosmic web."

NASA Is Sending a Life-Hunting Drone to Saturn's Huge Moon Titan

NASA is going to Titan.

The space agency announced today (June 27) that the next mission in its New Frontiers line of medium-cost missions will be Dragonfly, a rotorcraft designed to ply the skies of the huge, hazy and potentially life-hosting Saturn moon.

If all goes according to plan, Dragonfly will launch in 2026 and land on Titan eight years later, NASA officials said. The probe will then spend at least 2.5 years cruising around the 3,200-mile-wide (5,150 kilometers) moon, making two dozen flights that cover a total of about 110 miles (180 km).

The 10-foot-long (3 meters) Dragonfly will gather a variety of data at each of its stops. Such work will help scientists learn more about Titan, the only solar system body other than Earth known to host stable bodies of liquid on its surface. 

Titan's surface lakes, rivers and seas aren't composed of water, however: The frigid moon's climate system is based on hydrocarbons, in particular methane and ethane.

The mission is geared toward characterizing Titan's chemistry in detail. Complex organic molecules are known to swirl in the moon's thick, nitrogen-dominated atmosphere, and some scientists think its hydrocarbon seas could host exotic forms of life.

Titan also hosts another potentially habitable environment — a buried ocean of liquid water, which sloshes beneath the moon's icy crust.

Dragonfly could conceivably find evidence of Titan life, if the moon is indeed inhabited. And, because Titan is very similar to the early Earth, the mission's observations may shed light on the chemical processes that helped life get going on our planet, NASA officials said.

"Titan is unlike any other place in the solar system, and Dragonfly is like no other mission," Thomas Zurbuchen, NASA's associate administrator for science at the agency’s headquarters in Washington, D.C., said in a statement. 

"It's remarkable to think of this rotorcraft flying miles and miles across the organic sand dunes of Saturn's largest moon, exploring the processes that shape this extraordinary environment," he added. "Dragonfly will visit a world filled with a wide variety of organic compounds, which are the building blocks of life and could teach us about the origin of life itself."

Dragonfly will land among Titan's dunes, then make its way toward its final destination, the 50-mile-wide (80 km) Selk Crater. Selk is a particularly good place to study prebiotic chemistry and look for signs of life, NASA officials said. That's because the three ingredients necessary for life as we know it — liquid water, organic molecules and energy — mixed during the impact that created the crater. (Titan's bedrock is water ice.)

Dragonfly will be nuclear powered, like NASA's Mars rover Curiosity, the New Horizons Pluto probe and many other deep-space explorers. 

Dragonfly will be the fourth mission in the New Frontiers program, following New Horizons, the Juno probe to Jupiter and the OSIRIS-REx asteroid-sampling mission. Dragonfly's development costs are capped at $850 million, though the mission's total price tag, including launch, will probably top $1 billion.

The other finalist for the mid-2020s New Frontiers launch slot was the Comet Astrobiology Exploration Sample Return (CAESAR) mission, which proposed snagging bits of Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko — the same icy wanderer studied up close by Europe's Rosetta mission.

Dragonfly won't be the first craft to land on Titan. That honor belongs to Europe's Huygens probe, which touched down on the moon in January 2005. Huygens traveled to the Saturn system with NASA's Cassini spacecraft, which orbited the ringed planet from mid-2004 through September 2017.

1897 UFO Crash in Aurora, Texas

Those who study the UFO mystery are always asked for proof. And the proof is hard to find. The enigma of UFOs is different than any other phenomena, and the proof is elusive. There have been many reports of crashed UFOs, but most of these rely heavily on circumstantial evidence, and not solid, physical proof. Sometimes there are eyewitness accounts of physical evidence, but that evidence has been removed, lost, or stolen. Such is the case of the Aurora, Texas UFO Crash of 1897. The case bears many similarities to the Roswell Crash of 1947.

Aurora's History

Because of ever-changing railroad lines, and Texas highways, it is a miracle that the small town of Aurora, Texas is still there. And not only that, but it is a legendary "historical site" as designated by the state of Texas. Why would a small farming community get such a distinction? One reason-an alien spacecraft crashed there in 1897. At least that's what the residents say, and what the newspaper reports claimed.

A Great Airship

Although it would be five years or so before the Wright brothers would make the first controlled aircraft flight, this pre-flight era would become known as the "great airship" period in Ufology. Whereas many of today's unexplained UFO sightings are assigned to conventional flying craft, that luxury did not exist in 1897. Anything flying that was not a bird, blimp, or balloon could be extraterrestrial.

The Crash

These early ships were a slow-moving craft, and so was the one that crashed into an Aurora windmill on April 19. According to the legend, the craft was destroyed, and the remains of an alien pilot were discovered among the remains. Also found among the scattered debris was a strange material with hieroglyphic-type etching. The alien creature was given a proper burial in the one and only cemetery in town. The alien body has long since disappeared.

Staying Afloat

For the time period, news of this event was spread wide and far. Many new visitors made their way to the little town to see what all the gossip was about. Second and third-hand stories would soon morph into eyewitness accounts. Where the information came from that supplied newspaper accounts is anyone's guess.

About 6 o'clock this morning the early risers of Aurora were astonished at the sudden appearance of the airship which has been sailing around the country. It was traveling due north and much nearer the earth than before. Evidently, some of the machinery was out of order, for it was making a speed of only ten or twelve miles an hour, and gradually settling toward the earth.

"Aurora, Tex. -- (UPI) -- A grave in a small north Texas cemetery contains the body of an 1897 astronaut who was 'not an inhabitant of this world,' according to the International UFO Bureau. The group, which investigates unidentified flying objects, has already initiated legal proceedings to exhume the body and will go to court if necessary to open the grave, director Hayden Hewes said Wednesday."

Not of this World

UPI also picked up the story, and the legend was spread far beyond the borders of Texas. There were a number of eyewitness accounts of the incident later published, and they all agreed with the basic facts. An unknown craft had crashed into the town, strange debris was found, and a being "not of this world" was found in the wreckage. One intriguing account, although second-hand, came from a 15-year-old girl. Her parents had visited the site, and claimed that the alien pilot was a "small man."

Military Cover-up

There is also evidence of a military cover-up. Soon after the crash, military personnel came to Aurora. Could they have been responsible for the removal of the alien body? For a time, there was a headstone for the body, but even it has disappeared. All that remains are photographs of the headstone.

There have been, at times, lobbying to dig up the alien grave and see what evidence may remain. But townsfolk have kept this from happening. What excitement would run through UFO circles if alien DNA was found there? Maybe it is best to leave the grave alone, and let the Aurora mystery remain.

Op Twitter deelden mensen veelvuldig beelden van het blauw oplichtende water. De zeevonk was te zien vanaf de kust in Knokke tot aan het Waddeneiland Terschelling (in het noorden van Nederland). Dat meldt het Twitteraccount ZeevonkAlert, dat alle meldingen bijhield. 

Zeevonk (Noctiluca scintillans) is een eencellig beestje, een zogeheten zweephaardiertje, die algen eet. Het heeft een lichtgevend enzym dat actief wordt bij beweging door bijvoorbeeld golfslag. Een chemische reactie veroorzaakt dan het blauwe licht. 

Het natuurverschijnsel komt bijna elk jaar voor bij warm, zonnig, windstil weer. “De alg licht op wanneer water in beweging komt. Op de foto zullen er golfjes geweest zijn of steentjes in het water zijn gegooid, waardoor je het blauwe licht ziet”, legde Ben Lankamp van Weerplaza vorig jaar al eens uit. 

De algen geven niet onbeperkt licht: als zeevonk ‘tot bloei komt’, maakt de alg het pigment caroteen aan, ook wel het ‘worteltjespigment’ genoemd. Zodra zeevonk in dat stadium is, geeft het geen licht meer ’s avonds. Gelukkig hebben we dan de foto’s nog.

WETENSCHAP & PLANEET In Nederland zijn vanavond veel mensen opgeschrikt door een harde knal. Sommige Nederlanders zeggen dat ze ook een vuurbal hebben gezien. Een meteoriet misschien? Bij de ‘Werkgroep Meteoren’ (Nederlandse vereniging voor meteoorwaarnemers en -liefhebbers, red.) kwamen in ieder geval al ruim 200 meldingen binnen. 

Ook op sociale media zijn er veel meldingen van mensen die iets vreemds hebben gezien en/of gehoord. Meldingen over een doffe, harde knal kwamen eerst uit onder andere Zwolle, maar ook van verder weg, tot in Drenthe en Friesland. Vanuit heel Oost-Nederland worden er intussen berichten gepost over de ferme dreun. Sommigen zagen ook een fel licht of een vuurbal aan de hemel. Speculatie alom intussen over een mogelijke meteoriet, maar het is onduidelijk of dat echt zo is.

Bij de de Werkgroep Meteoren zijn vanavond tot dusver 220 meldingen binnengekomen van mensen die een meteoor boven Nederland denken gespot te hebben. “De mensen hebben de heldere vuurbol omstreeks half tien ’s avonds gezien”, zegt Joost Hartman van de Werkgroep Meteoren. “De meeste meldingen komen uit het oosten van Nederland. Er zijn ook mensen die harde knallen hebben gehoord. Zelf heb ik die heldere vuurbol helaas gemist.” Hartman weet niet zeker of al die mensen een meteoor hebben gezien, maar het lijkt hem wel waarschijnlijk. 

Een meteoor is een stofdeel dat verbrandt in de dampkring. Soms gaat dat gepaard met een knal.

From 1475 BCE to 1275 BCE, the Mitanni Empire ruled over the northern Euphrates-Tigris region in what is now Iraq. It’s only rival at that time was Egypt, but when the Hittite Empire began gaining power, they joined together against it. That wasn’t enough, and Mitanni was eventually defeated by the Hittite and assimilated so completely that very little is known of the dynasty. That may change with the discovery of a MIttani palace in Iraqi Kurdistan after drought exposed it in a reservoir.

“The find is one of the most important archaeological discoveries in the region in recent decades and illustrates the success of the Kurdish-German cooperation.”

Cooperation is always a good thing, especially at archeological sites in areas of political strife. Kurdish archaeologist Hasan Ahmed Qasim was working with Dr. Hasan Ahmed Qasim and Dr. Ivana Puljiz on a joint research project between the University of Tübingen and the Kurdistan Archaeology Organization (KAO) in cooperation with the Duhok Directorate of Antiquities after a drought caused the water level of the Mosul Reservoir in northern Iraq to drop unexpectedly and substantially, revealing the remains of a Bronze Age palace which is believed to have once stood on the edge of the Tigris River valley in the Mitanni town of Kemune. The site was first discovered in 2010, but the recent drop in water level was the first change archeologists had to do some serious digging

According to the press release by the University of Tübingen, the palace was a solid structure with two-meters thick mud walls, some standing over two meters high. A number of rooms were identified and those contained items that may finally shed some light on the Mitanni empire. One contained ten cuneiform clay tablets which suggest that Kemune may have once be the ancient city of Zachiku, which was thought to have existed in that area 400 years before. (Photos of the site here.) However, it’s what was on the walls that got the archeologists most excited, according to Puljiz.

“We also found remnants of murals in bright shades of red and blue. Mural paintings may have been a typical feature of palaces in the 2nd millennium BC, but they have seldom been preserved. Therefore, the discovery of murals in Kemune is an archaeological sensation.”

This is yet another important archeological site covered by the waters of a dam – in this case, the Mosul Reservoir of the Mosul Dam, the largest dam in Iraq. Completed in 1986, provides electricity to the 1.7 million residents of Mosul … and also some anxiety. The dam was briefly taken over by ISIS in 2014 and it has required constant maintenance and repairs due to being built on top of gypsum, a soft mineral that dissolves in contact with water. Whose bright idea was this? Saddam Hussein.

“The Mittani empire is one of the least-explored ancient Near Eastern empires. So far, information about the palaces of the Mittani period has only been found in Tell Brak in Syria and in the cities of Nuzi and Alalach on the outskirts of the empire.”

Saddam may be gone, but instability remains – both in the dam and the region. This appears to be an important central palace of the Mittani Empire, and could help locate its capital, which has remained a mystery in an empire of mysteries.

Will the researchers be able to uncover the secrets of the Mittani Empire and outrace the instability of the governments and the dam? Cooperation will help. So will luck. And don’t forget the climate change that caused the drought.

Archeology is a complicated science.

300 Meter UFO Parked In Crater On Earths Moon, June 30, 2019, UFO Sighting News.

I found a 300 meter long ship in a small crater on earths moon today. The ship is parked along the edge of the crater upper wall and is actually hovering above the ground. The shadow below it really shows the detail of its hight and size. 

To find its measurement I had to use a nearby crater called Messier A, which has a diameter of 11km. This helped me determine the size of the UFO itself. This is a white ceramic style ship. That means its reflective like shiny white ceramic and this makes it near impossible to get a detailed photo of unless its in the shadows.

This amazing six sided structure with a tower at its center was dicovered by Youtuber Jean Ward. He found a hexagon, a six sided structure. There is no way that such a large structure could be found in nature like this. Its huge, about half a km across. This is an amazing discovery and is proof that aliens did once live on Mars and the structures they left behind are still intact. A potential base for humanity in the future.

Glowing UFOs Light Up Sky Over City Of Mulhouse, France On June 20, 2019, Video, UFO Sighting News

These glowing orbs were seen over France this week. The eyewitness used a special app to record it that placed a bar across the video. Its strange, but today there are many video sharing apps that do such things. Kinda hurts the video, but it is still helpful in deterring the size and appearance of the UFOs. The orbs are flying together in unison, a fleet.
