A fiery experiment deliberately lit in a cargo spacecraft last month monitored larger and more dynamic flamesthan most previous efforts to learn how fire works in space have.
The Spacecraft Fire Safety Experiment-V (Saffire-V), which occurred after a Northrop Grumman Cygnus spacecraft departed the International Space Station on Jan. 6, is the latest in a series of fire studies to protect astronauts on long-term missions.
Saffire-V lasted 26 hours, then the Cygnus spacecraft, which was filled with trash, burned up safely in Earth's atmosphere as planned.

The experiment involved lowering the spacecraft pressure and filling it with oxygen similar to what humans may breathe in future spacecraft. Sensors embedded in the spacecraft, along with cameras, measured temperature variations, oxygen levels and flame growth. The data could improve fire detection and assist with cleanup after a fire, NASA said in a statement
"The Saffire-V data will allow us to model fire scenarios and increase our confidence in safety strategies," Gary A. Ruff, Saffire project manager at NASA's Glenn Research Center, said in the same statement.
NASA plans to fly another Saffire experiment to the space station, although the agency has not specified when it will fly or what the new experiment will study.
Fire behaves quite differently in microgravity than on Earth. Without gravity, hot gasses don't rise; fires also burn at lower temperatures and with less oxygen. Those differences matter: for example, researchers say the material used to extinguish spacecraft fires must be more concentrated than what we use on our own planet.
NASA is trying to beef up its deep-space systems in preparation for the Artemis program, which plans to land humans on the lunar surface by 2024 if the budget and technology development stay on track. NASA also plans to establish a long-term base on the lunar surface assisted by international partners, commercial robots and landers built under the agency's Commercial Lunar Payload Services program.

THE Pentagon has admitted to holding and testing wreckage from UFO crashes in a bombshell Freedom of Information letter, shared with The Sun.
Researcher Anthony Bragalia wrote to the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) requesting details of allUFO material, which they hold and results of any tests they had been carrying out on it.

He wrote: "This could include physical debris recovered by personnel of the Department of Defense as residue, flotsam, shot-off material or crashed material from UAPS [unidentified aerial phenomenon] or unidentified flying objects."
In the response, shared with The Sun, the DIA released 154 pages of test results that includes reports on a mysterious "memory" metal called Nitinol, which remembers its original shape when folded.
Bragalia said it was a "stunning admission" from the US government and the documents reveal that some of the retrieved debris possesses "extraordinary capabilities" including the potential to make things invisible or even slow down the speed of light.
He told The Sun: "The Pentagon has admitted to holding and testing anomalous debris from UFOs.

"They have been able to learn some things about the materials of construction which hold tremendous promise as futuristic materials which will change our lives forever."
He said he first made the request in 2017 - which took three years for the DIA to fulfill - after it was revealed the Pentagon had been studying UFOs under the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP).
"The article mentioned that anomalous debris from UFOs (now called UAPs) was being analyzed by a private defense contractor," Bragalia said.
"Material evidence such as UFO debris has been a focus of my research.
"My Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was very specific, seeking the test results of UFO/UAP debris, not material already known to science."

Bragalia believes some of the material that is being tested could have come from the notorious Roswell incident of 1947, in which a UFO crashed in New Mexico.
"The inclusion of advanced technical reports on Nitinol is curious," Bragalia said.
"Nitinol is a shape-memory alloy that 'remembers' its original shape when folded or crunched, and snaps back seamlessly and instantly.
"This memory metal characteristic was reported by many witnesses at Roswell."

However the agency has held back certain details about the materials - including any information about they could be of alien origin - stating in the letter: "I have determined that some portions of five documents must be withheld in part from disclosure..."
"They are omitting information on the chemical and elemental composition of the material as well as its origin," Bragalia said.
"They have omitted the names of the involved scientists as well, but I have since learned some of their names and will be contacting them."
The DIA letter, first shared on Bragalia's blog, reveals that the testing was carried out by Bigelow Aerospace, one of the Department of Defense's private contractors based in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The company laid off all of its staff at the Vegas plant last March due to the toll of the pandemic - and it's not known where the UFO material may now be kept.
Mysteriously Bragalia said everyone he approached who used to work at the plant refused to comment to him.
"All former personnel have refused me any real comment," he said.
"I suspect the material has been returned to the Pentagon."
The UFO researcher is planning to launch an appeal to obtain some of the redacted information in the coming months.

Het aantal diersoorten waarin nieuwe coronavirussen kunnen ontstaan, blijkt veel groter dan gedacht.
De huidige coronacrisis heeft ons behoorlijk opgeschrikt. Want het noodlottige voorval in Wuhan heeft velen doen afvragen hoe groot de kans eigenlijk is dat er een coronavirus opduikt én overspringt naar de mens. In een nieuwe studie, gepubliceerd in het vakblad Nature Communications, hebben onderzoekers zich over die prangende vragen gebogen. En daaruit blijkt dat we de uitbraak van een compleet nieuw coronavirus zwaar hebben onderschat.
Nieuwe coronavirussen De eerste vraag is natuurlijk hoe nieuwe coronavirussen precies het levenslicht zien. “Nieuwe coronavirussen ontstaan wanneer twee verschillende stammen hetzelfde dier infecteren,” legt onderzoeksleider Maya Wardeh uit. “Hierdoor wordt het virale genetische materiaal gerecombineerd. Ons begrip van hoe vatbaar verschillende dieren zijn voor verschillende coronavirussen is beperkt. Maar dergelijke informatie zou inzicht kunnen verschaffen in waar virale recombinatie plaatsvindt.”
Kunstmatige Intelligentie De onderzoekers hebben gepoogd die kenniskloof te overbruggen door met behulp van ‘machine learning’ op zoek te gaan naar specifieke zoogdieren waarin nieuwe coronavirussen het makkelijkst kunnen ontstaan. En dat is heel belangrijk. Want door te voorspellen welke dieren mogelijk de bron zijn van een toekomstige uitbraak van een nieuw coronavirus, kunnen we het risico dat het coronavirus daadwerkelijk naar de mens overspringt, beperken. In de studie analyseerden de onderzoekers onder andere de soorten die al eerder bij uitbraken betrokken zijn, zoals de Kleine hoefijzerneus, loewak en schubdierachtigen.
Zoogdiersoorten De bevindingen zijn tamelijk verontrustend. Want de onderzoekers komen tot de conclusie dat het aantal diersoorten waarin nieuwe coronavirussen kunnen ontstaan, veel groter is dan gedacht. Zo schatten de onderzoekers dat er bijvoorbeeld 40 keer meer zoogdiersoorten bestaan die kunnen worden geïnfecteerd met een diverse reeks coronavirusstammen dan voorheen bekend was. De onderzoekers vermoeden dat de loewak en de Kleine hoefijzerneus bijvoorbeeld respectievelijk 32 en 68 verschillende coronavirussen herbergen. Het team ging nog een stap verder door de betreffende gastheren te identificeren waarin een recombinatie zou kunnen plaatsvinden. En daaruit blijkt dat er mogelijk 30 keer meer gastheersoorten zijn die nieuwe coronavirussen herbergen dan gedacht, waaronder katten, egels en konijnen. Opmerkelijke nieuwe gastheren zijn onder andere de kameel, de groene meerkat, en de vleermuis Scotophilus kuhlii.

Het betekent dat de potentiële omvang en de kans op een uitbraak van een compleet nieuw coronavirus – afkomstig van wilde én gedomesticeerde dieren – zwaar onderschat wordt. “Gezien het feit dat coronavirussen vaak recombinaties ondergaan wanneer ze een gastheer tegelijkertijd infecteren én dat SARS-CoV-2 zeer besmettelijk is voor mensen, vormt dit de meest directe dreiging voor de volksgezondheid,” concludeert onderzoeker Marcus Blagrove. Als specifiek voorbeeld benadrukt het team het risicovolle scenario van recombinatie tussen het zeer besmettelijke SARS-CoV-2 en het meer dodelijke MERS-CoV. In de studie identificeerden de onderzoekers 102 potentiële gastheren van deze twee virussen en adviseren met klem om dit te blijven monitoren, om een vervelende afloop te voorkomen.
Nieuwe stammen Hoewel het onderzoek zorgvuldig is uitgevoerd, houden de onderzoekers een slag om de arm. Zo stellen ze dat deze bevindingen gebaseerd zijn op slechts beperkte gegevens over coronavirus-genomen en wisselwerkingen tussen virus en gastheer. Toch zetten de resultaten ons op scherp. “Het is belangrijk om op te merken dat virale recombinatie verschilt van mutaties,” onderstreept Blagrove. “Recombinatie vindt plaats over langere perioden en kan volledig nieuwe stammen of soorten genereren. Ons werk kan helpen bij het oprichten van surveillanceprogramma’s om toekomstige, alarmerende stammen te ontdekken voordat ze overspringen op de mens. Dit geeft ons een belangrijke voorsprong bij de bestrijding ervan.”
De onderzoekers zijn nu van plan om hun model uit te breiden en ook vogelsoorten onder de loep te nemen. Uiteindelijk is het doel om een volledig beeld te scheppen van de diersoorten die mogelijk belangrijke coronavirus-gastheren zijn. Want op die manier wordt de kans op een volgende desastreuse uitbraak van een nieuw coronavirus, flink ingedamd.
Russian state laboratory Vector has announced a new research project in which it will probe ancient animals frozen in the Siberian permafrost, looking for ancient. The aim of the project is to identify such viruses and conduct advanced research into virus evolution.

The remains of many Paleolithic creatures are trapped in the icy grip of the Siberian permafrost. Aided by global warming that melted some of the ice, expeditions have uncovered the remains of numerous kinds of animals preserved by the freezing temperatures. The remains are interesting by themselves, but Russian researchers now want to probe even further, and look at what type of viruses these organisms may have hosted.
The study will be focused on remains discovered in 2009 in Yakutia, a vast region of north-eastern Siberia where remains of Paleolithic animals including mammoths, elk, dogs, partridges, rodents, hares, and many others have been discovered. The researchers will be probing these groups looking for ancient viruses, called paleoviruses.
“We are conducting studies on paleoviruses for the first time,” said Maxim Cheprasov, head of the Mammoth Museum laboratory at Yakutsk University, who added that they have already carried out several bacterial studies on the samples.
The research is a collaboration between Vector and the University of Yakutsk. The work began with analysis of tissues extracted from a prehistoric horse thought to be at least 4,500 years old. Researchers drill a tiny hole and take tissue samples, placing them in a test tube. They then carry out a series of analyses on this sample, from genome sequencing to isolation of total nucleic acids, to obtain data on the entire biodiversity of the microorganisms in the sample.
“If nucleic acids aren’t destroyed, we will be able to obtain data on their composition and establish how it changed, what was the evolutionary development of microorganisms. Vector researcher Olesya Okhlopkova explains in a press release. She adds that they will also “determine the epidemiological potential of currently existing infectious agents.”
Sergei Fedorov, one of the participating researchers, adds that the findings are kept in a special freezer at temperatures of -16 to -18 degrees Celsius (around 0-3 degrees Fahrenheit). Mammoths will be a point of particular interest for the project, but researchers will look at samples from various ancient animals. “We hope that interesting discoveries in the world of viruses await us,” says Fedorov
Vector is a secluded research institute that, in Soviet times, was weaponized and used in the Soviet biological warfare program. The laboratory made important progress in smallpox research, but also researched the production of various viruses and toxins. In post-Soviet times, the center focuses on vaccine research (for Hepatitis A or influenza, for instance), diagnosis systems, and other epidemiological research.
Vector also developed a COVID-19 vaccine (EpiVacCorona, not the Sputnik V) which was licensed in October in Russia and is scheduled to begin mass production in February.
Lucid dreaming happens when you’re aware that you’re dreaming, as opposed to being completely immersed in the experience and totally decoupled from reality. Some lucid dreamers are so good at it they can consistently enter this state of awareness in their sleep and can even control their dream’s storyline to their liking. If you find all of this fascinating, you’re not alone — and scientists have now published a new study in which they’ve tapped into the brains of lucid dreamers while they had real-time dialogues.
Despite the ubiquity of dreams, scientists still know surprisingly very little about them. Most people have trouble remembering their dreams, which are subject to distortion, fragmentation, and forgetting, making neuroscience studies of dreaming highly challenging. In typical dreams, people judge their experience But this is where lucid dreamers come in.
In a new study, researchers led by Karen Konkoly, a neuroscientist at Northwestern University, attempted to communicate in real-time with 36 individuals who were in rapid-eye-movement (REM) sleep. The participants hailed from the United States, France, Germany, and the Netherlands, and were assessed by four independent laboratories.
“Why do we have dreams? How are dream scenarios created? Does dreaming confer any benefit for brain function? These and other questions have remained open, in part, because of the limited options available for peering into dream experiences,” wrote the researchers in the journal Current Biology.
“In typical dreams, people judge their experience with a high degree of acceptance and a lack of critical evaluation; they fail to realize that their experience is merely a dream. On the other hand, a “lucid dream” differs in that the dreamer gains the elusive insight of being in a dream.”
The participants’ experience with lucid dreaming varied — which was exactly what the researchers were looking for. Some had minimal experience with lucid dreaming, while others were frequent lucid dreamers. One patient with narcolepsy claimed he almost always had lucid dreams.

To verify that the participants were indeed dreaming, the researchers placed electrodes close to their eyes, as well as on the scalp and chin. This device records brainwave activity and eyeball movement, which are closely linked to deep sleep.
During this stage, people are likely dreaming. But how do you know they are also aware they’re dreaming? In order to identify which participants were lucid dreaming, the researchers asked certain questions that some participants answered with pre-arranged eyeball movements.

For instance, one participant was asked for the answer to eight minus six, to which he correctly answered “two” by making two eye movements from left to right. When asked to repeat the answer, the participant once again performed the correct eye movement.
After the participants woke up and the sessions were over, the researchers made a tally and found 18% of the trials involved clear and accurate communication as described above, 17% seemed to acknowledge they were being asked questions but made unintelligible answers, 3% gave wrong answers, and 60% had no reaction at all.

In addition to finding the black hole is 50% more massive than prior estimates, near 21 solar masses as opposed to 15 solar masses, the team also discovered that the companion star also has a greater mass than previous measurements had revealed. The system as a whole is 20% further away than previously calculated–7,200 light-years from Earth as opposed to 6,100 light-years.
“We know that Cygnus X-1 hosts a black hole that is 21 times the mass of the Sun. We also learned that the supergiant companion star in Cygnus X-1 is also more massive than we had thought, with a mass of about 40 times the mass of the Sun,” Professor James Miller-Jones, the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR), Curtin University, Australia, tells ZME Science. “The revised masses and distances also lead to an updated orbital separation between the star and the black hole — they orbit each other at a separation of one-quarter the distance from the Earth to the Sun.”

The finding, published in the latest edition of the journal Science, means that Cygnus X-1 contains the largest black hole created through the collapse of a star alone, that has ever been detected with traditional electromagnetic astronomy without the use of gravitational waves. Larger black holes do of course exist, but these are formed through other mechanisms such as mergers between smaller black holes after that initial stellar collapse.
Miller-Jones, the study’s lead researcher, goes on to explain that the team also learned that the black hole is spinning very rapidly , close to its maximum possible speed.
“With all this new information, we were able to propose a likely scenario for how this system formed, which can explain its observed properties.”

The finding doesn’t conform to current theories about black hole formation and stellar development in binary systems as its mass is greater than the limit imposed on such an object.
How Cygnus X-1 Challenges Theories of Stellar Evolution
The team chanced on their finding whilst conducting an ambitious project to observe Cygnus X-1 almost continuously over a full 5.6-day orbit with the network of radio telescopes that comprise VLBA and X-ray telescopes. The aim of the research was to better understand how gas being fed into a black hole from a binary partner via a spiraling accretion disc connects to powerful jets of material that launch out from near the central region at near light speed.
“We had not originally aimed to refine the distance and the mass of the black hole but realised that our data would allow us to do so, by accounting properly for the effects of the black hole orbit. But there is still a wealth of data from this rich observing campaign that we are looking to analyse more fully.”

“Black holes form from the deaths of the most massive stars when they run out of fuel and gravity takes over,” says Miller-Jones. “The mass of the resulting black hole is set by the initial mass of the star from which it formed — which we call the progenitor star — the amount of mass that star lost in winds over its lifetime, and any interactions with a nearby companion star.”
Miller-Jones continues, saying massive stars launch very powerful winds from their surfaces, which leads to significant mass loss over their few-million year lifetimes. Some of the later phases of star’s evolution have particularly strong winds — determined by the abundance of elements heavier than helium in the gas from which the star was formed. More heavy elements mean stronger winds, and ultimately, a less massive star immediately before gravitational collapse.
While some stars can also lose further mass in supernova explosions as they collapse to form a black hole, the evidence suggests that in Cygnus X-1, there was no explosion, and the star collapsed directly into a black hole,” says Miller-Jones. “The stronger the stellar winds during the late evolutionary phases of the star, the less massive we would have expected the black hole to be.”

At first, the team wasn’t totally aware of just how significant their discovery of mass disparities in the Cygnus X-1 binary system was. “I think that our biggest surprise was when we appreciated the full implications of our measurements,” Miller-Jones says. “As observational astronomers, my team and I had already found that we could revise the source distance and the black hole mass. However, it was not until I visited a colleague, Professor Ilya Mandel of Monash University, who is a theoretical astronomer, that we realised how important this actually was.”
Mandel–co-author on the resulting paper– realised that a 21-solar mass black hole was too massive to form in the Milky Way with the constraints in place due to the current prevailing estimates of the amount of mass lost by massive stars in stellar winds.
“The existence of such a massive black hole in our own Milky Way galaxy has shown us that the most massive stars blow less mass off their surface in winds than we had previously estimated. This improves our knowledge of how black holes form from the most massive stars.”

Cygnus X-1: No Stranger to Contraversy
The team’s findings have allowed them to put forward a scenario that would allow the formation of a 21 solar mass black hole in a binary system. “We suggest that the star that eventually collapsed into a black hole began its life a few million years ago with a mass of 55-75 times the mass of the Sun,” Miller-Jones tells ZME. “Over its lifetime, it was close enough to its companion–the current supergiant–that gas from its surface was transferred onto its companion. This removed the outer layers of the black hole progenitor and caused it to rotate more rapidly because the two stars were always keeping the same face towards one another.
“Eventually, possibly as recently as a few tens of thousands of years ago the progenitor star collapsed directly into a black hole–of close to its current mass of 21 times the mass of the Sun–without a supernova explosion.”

Additionally, as well as gaining an insight into the black hole’s birth, Miller-Jones believes the team’s results could also indicate how the system could end its life. “Finally, we considered the eventual fate of this system,” the paper’s lead author says. “While the current companion star may eventually form a black hole, the separation of the two stars is such that the two black holes are unlikely to merge on a timescale comparable to the age of the Universe.”
A companion paper appearing at the same time in the Astrophysical Journal will delve deeper into these elements of the research.
A closer look at the massive star in the Cygnus X-1 binary (ICRAR)
This isn’t the first time that Cygnus X-1, and more specifically its black hole, has sparked discussion in the fields of astronomy and cosmology. As speculation grew during that the intense X-ray source in the region was the result of a black hole, renowned physicist Stephen Hawking bet fellow scientist Kip Thorne–well known for his black hole work–in 1974 that Cygnus X-1 did not contain a black hole.

Elon Musk, de CEO van Tesla en SpaceX, wil zo veel mogelijk geld investeren in de kolonisatie van Mars. Hij verkoopt daarom de meerderheid van zijn materiële bezittingen. Dat vertelde hij tijdens een interview met het Duitse mediabedrijf Axel Springer.
Musk werd deze week voorbijgestoken door Jeff Bezos en is niet langer de rijkste man ter wereld. In december vertelde hij al aan Axel Springer dat hij van plan was om bijna al zijn bezittingen te verkopen. Hij zal ook geen eigen huis meer hebben. Sindsdien verkocht hij al meerdere huizen uit zijn vastgoedportfolio, die ooit meer dan 100 miljoen dollar (82 miljoen euro) waard was. Vorig jaar verkocht hij drie huizen in de rijke buurt Bel Air in Los Angeles en een landgoed dat vroeger eigendom was van acteur Gene Wilder. “Behalve de aandelen in de bedrijven, zal ik bijna geen bezittingen hebben met een geldwaarde”, zei Musk. “Als het op het werk druk is, dan slaap ik graag in de fabriek of op kantoor. En ik heb natuurlijk een plek nodig voor als mijn kinderen er zijn, dus ik zal gewoon iets huren of zo.”

Musk verhuist ook van Californië naar Texas, omdat hij daar geen inkomstenbelasting dient te betalen. Zijn inspanningen om zijn kapitaal te vergroten, kaderen allemaal in zijn plannen om uiteindelijk een kolonie te stichten op Mars. “Ik denk dat het belangrijk is dat de mensheid een ruimtevarende beschaving en een multiplanetaire soort wordt,” aldus Musk. “En het zal veel middelen vergen om een stad te bouwen op Mars. Door zijn bezittingen van de hand te doen, toont Musk dat hij echt naar Mars wil. “Ik probeer ook gewoon duidelijk te maken dat het me menens is”, aldus de ondernemer. “En het gaat niet om persoonlijke consumptie. Want mensen vallen me aan en zeggen: ‘oh, hij heeft al die bezittingen. Hij heeft al die huizen’. OK, nu heb ik die niet meer.”

Musk hoopt uiteindelijk drie ruimteschepen per dag te lanceren naar Mars, met telkens 100 mensen aan boord. Binnen dertig jaar moet de kolonie op Mars zo een bevolking van maar liefst een miljoen mensen tellen. Voor wie naar Mars wil, maar het niet kan betalen, zijn er leningen beschikbaar, beweert de ondernemer. Bovendien zullen er op de rode planeet volgens hem veel jobs beschikbaar zijn.
Volgens critici is Musks plan echter een interplanetaire vorm van contractarbeid. Dat systeem werd vroeger gehanteerd door koloniale grootmachten: kolonisten die de oversteek naar de Nieuwe Wereld niet konden betalen, kregen dat vergoed door hun toekomstige werkgever in ruil voor enkele jaren arbeid op diens landgoed of in diens fabriek. In werkelijkheid was dat systeem echter erg vergelijkbaar met slavernij: de arbeiders werden uitgebuit, genoten erg weinig vrijheid, hadden vaak geen medische verzorging en werden dikwijls gedwongen om langer in dienst te blijven dan aanvankelijk overeengekomen.

Gejuich, gejoel en grote opluchting bij het NASA-team nadat de Perseverance zichzelf veilig door de dunne dampkring van Mars wist te loodsen. Enkele minuten na de landing van de Marsrobot volgde er al een eerste foto van zijn nieuwe thuis. Maar waarom was dat een zwart-wit foto?
'Seven minutes of terror' van de landing van de Perseverance
Perseverance is niet zomaar een Marsrover of -robot. Het is het meest geavanceerde astrobiologische laboratorium ooit dat vanop de aarde gelanceerd is. Hij is ontworpen om de Jezero-krater op Mars uit te kammen, op zoek naar tekenen van leven. Om deze missie te doen slagen, is de robot uitgerust met tal van technische snufjes waaronder 19 camera’s. Zoveel camera’s en toch een zwart-wit, en ietwat wazige, eerste foto maken? Kan dat niet beter?
Perseverance maakte gebruik van zijn navigatiecamera’s om de foto te maken. Deze camera’s - eentje vooraan en een tweede achteraan - dienen voornamelijk om de omgeving te verkennen. Het spreekt voor zich dat deze robuuste camera’s als eerste (deels) werden vrijgemaakt en geactiveerd.
Het beeld is een beetje korrelig door het stof dat tijdens de landing opwaaide. Dat stof is meteen ook de reden waarom er niet onmiddellijk andere camera’s geactiveerd werden; de lenzen van deze camera’s blijven afgedekt totdat het stof is gaan liggen. Nog een reden waarom er voor de zwart-wit foto’s werd gekozen: deze beelden, met een lage resolutie, konden sneller naar de aarde verstuurd worden.
Kortom, de eerste foto’s - Perseverance deelde wat later nog een tweede foto van zijn uitzicht aan de achterzijde - zijn slechts een fractie van wat nog komen moet. Twee van de camera’s waarover de Marsrobot beschikt kunnen immers beelden maken met een zeer hoge resolutie. Zonder twijfel zullen er nog enkele spectaculaire plaatjes volgen.

Residents from Dulce, New Mexico will attest that the Archuleta Mesa in New Mexico has seen its share of bizarre events. Dulce, a border town near the Colorado-New Mexico border, is remote, largely unpopulated (Dulce has a population of only around 3,000 people), and is the tribal headquarters of the Jicarilla Apache Reservation. According to several reports, it is the home of the top-secret Dulce Base – a research and military facility operated jointly between humans and alien beings from another world.
Paul Bennewitz picks up strange radio signals
The rumors of a base in Dulce began in 1979. Paul Bennewitz, a local electrician with a doctorate in physics, was researching classified government programs at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Part of his researched involved construction and monitoring of sensitive radio equipment. It 1979, he began intercepting strange radio transmissions. From what he could tell, the communications were between government organizations and another party which he ultimately determined were not from this planet. The signals emanated from the mesa near Dulce.
Aliens in the area?
The story gained traction when a second report lent credence to the theory there were aliens in the area. New Mexico State Trooper Gabe Valdez had investigated several bizarre cases of mutilated cattle near the mesa. These weren’t your run-of-the-mill cattle mutilations. Valdez noted that he often found discarded gas masks and glow sticks at the scene. And in one instance, he found an unusual fetus inside one of the carcasses. According to Valdez, the fetus looked like a “cross between a human, a monkey, and a frog”. Experts in alien species drew the conclusion that the fetus was the discarded body of a nefarious reptiloid (aka Reptilian) alien body.

Soon after, 35-year-old Phil Schneider came forward with claims he had worked at the Dulce Base facility. Investigators determine Schneider did indeed have military contacts. He was the son of Oscar Schneider, a Captain in the United States Navy who worked in nuclear medicine and helped design the first nuclear submarine.
According to Schneider, he had been employed by Morrison-Knudsen on a project to drill four large holes that were joined together with tunnels. His job was to descend into the holes and study the rock composition in order to recommend further course of action. He was suspicious of the job from day one because of the unusual presence of military personnel – Green Berets and other special forces.
During the drilling, workers came across a large artificial cavern. The structure was huge and clearly manmade. As Schneider was marveling at the cavern, he suddenly found himself face-to-face with a seven-foot-tall gray alien. Schneider pulled a pistol he was carrying and shot the alien who fought back with an unknown weapon of its own. A gunfight broke out between more aliens and the military personnel. During the melee, 67 workers and military personnel were killed, Phillip Schneider being one of only three people that survived. Schneider claimed to have suffered injuries in the attack and showed scars on his chest to prove it. He claimed the unusually shaped injuries were from the alien’s weapon.
Schneider explains Dulce Base
Schneider says Dulce Base has seven levels tied together by a subway system. In fact, Schneider says the underground subway system extends all the way to Los Alamos National Laboratory.
He says the base is the center of a ground operation between the US and extraterrestrials. According to Schneider, thousands of aliens lived in the underground facility. They were allowed to experiment on humans in exchange for advanced alien technology.
Schneider began speaking out about the aliens, UFOs, and government coverups. Together with four other men, he started a publication called The Alien Digest. The publication became popular with the paranormal community and gained a wide circulation. In the publication, Schneider revealed that underground alien bases existed all around the world. Huge amounts of black budget money went towards building the bases.
The death of X
In 1993, one of the men behind The Alien Digest was found dead in a park in Portland, Oregon. He had been shot in the mouth. Schneider claimed his partner was murdered to shut them up. Police paid no attention to his claims.
For several years prior, Schneider had travelled throughout the country lecturing about government cover-ups, black budgets, and UFOs. Schneider always claimed he knew his life was in danger. Schneider’s body was found on January 17, 1996, three years after the death of his business partner. Doctors ruled the death a stroke. Oddly, the ruling was later changed to suicide. Investigators claimed Schneider had wrapped a rubber catheter hose three times around his neck and tied it with a knot.
Schneider’s claims are confirmed
Soon after Schneider’s untimely death, Thomas Costello came forward claiming to be a security guard for the base. Costello confirmed Schneider’s reports and added that horrific experiments were conducted at the base by both humans and aliens. Costello noted that the caves in the mesa had been occupied by reptoid aliens for centuries.
Costello’s claims ignited a media firestorm with publications across the country reporting his story. Oddly, after Costello’s appearance before the public, Schneider’s family suddenly burst into the scene. After years of silence, family members came forward with claims that Phil Schneider was insane. The media firestorm subsided, and the family grew silent again.
Other secret underground military bases
The top-secret Tonto National Forest military base
Researchers have found other instances of secret underground military bases. A FOI request revealed a strange report from the US Forest Service’s Southwestern Region office in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was an odd call from a man claiming to have run across workers building an underground “alien base” near the Tonto National Forest outside Phoenix, Arizona. It noted that the following email was sent to all US Forest employees:
“David received a call this morning at the front desk from a male caller reporting the construction of a secret government installation upstream from the Salt River Canyon past Pinal Creek (Upstream from Roosevelt Lake). Caller claims to have seen construction cranes coming out the side of the cliffs, miniature stealth planes and UFOs, aliens and people working together at the site, aliens eating people. He found a severed head and claims to have pictures of some of this stuff. Caller reported that he is 60, not crazy and doesn’t do drugs. He said he had already called the ‘office at the lake’, but he didn’t know if those people were turning the other cheek or maybe those people have been paid off.”
Another similar report was found in the archives of a UFO investigative organization. The report had been submitted by Scott Heckman and spoke of a base in the national forest where scores of people were said to have “gone missing”. The report read:
“The most major base that I have been able to follow the craft towards is located in the Tonto National Forest. I discovered this while camping in the Sierra Ancha Wilderness. The UFOs kept flying down into the basin two minutes apart. They flew low, out of the southeast at about two thousand feet above the terrain. During the daytime A-10’s use the area for training. Re-fueling practice also occurs here both day and night. These areas have also been plagued with several unexplained disappearances that have occurred in Cochise County over the last 30 years. Cars are abandoned with people’s ID; money and keys left behind. Their occupants are mysteriously missing, never to be seen again.”

The following is a bizarre report that made the rounds on the Internet forums in the early 2000’s. The author of the report claims to have inside knowledge of Dulce base operations.
This facility is a “GENETICS LAB” and is connected to Los Alamos, via a “Tube-Shuttle.” Part of their research is related to the General Effects of Radiation (Mutations and Human Genetics). Its research also includes other “Intelligent Species” (Alien Biological Life Form “Entities”).
In the revised September 1950 edition of “THE EFFECTS OF ATOMIC WEAPONS” prepared for and in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, under the direction of the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory, we read about how “complete Underground placement of Bases is desirable”. On page #381: “There are apparently no fundamental difficulties in construction and operating Underground various types of important Facilities. Such facilities may be placed in a suitable existing mine or a site may be excavated for the purpose”.

Centuries ago, Surface People (some say the Illuminati) entered into a pact with an “Alien Nation” (hidden within the Earth). Paul Benowitz reports, about his study into the Dulce area, “Troops went in and out of there every summer, starting in ’47. The natives do recall that. They also built a road – right in front of the people of Dulce and trucks went in and out for a long period. That Road was later blocked and destroyed.. The signs on the trucks were ‘Smith’ Corp. out of Paragosa Springs, Colorado. No such corporation exists now – no record exists….. I believe the Base – at least the first one was being built then under the cover of a lumbering project…. problem – they NEVER hauled logs. Only BIG Equipment”.
R&D AND THE MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX
THE RAND CORP. became involved and did a study, for the Base. Most of the lakes near Dulce were made, via Government grants ‘for’ the Indians.
NAVAJO DAM is the main source for conventional electrical power, with a second source in EL VADO (also, an entrance).

The DULCE FACILITY consists of a Central “HUB”, the Security Section, (also some photo labs). The deeper you go, the stronger the Security. This is a multi-leveled Complex. There are over 3000 cameras at various High-Security locations (exits and Labs).
There are over 100 Secret Exits near and around Dulce. Many around Archuleta Mesa, others to the south around Dulce Lake and even as far east as Lindrith.
Deep sections of the Complex connect into natural Cavern Systems.
A person who worked at the Base, who had an “ULTRA 7” Clearance, reports: “There may be more than seven levels, but I only know of seven. Most of the Aliens are on 5-6-7 Levels. Alien housing is Level Five.”

The network-net was set-up by DARPA Advanced Research Project Agency). Two of the procedures were, RHIC (Radio-Hypnotic Intercerebral Control) and EDOM (Electronic Dissolution of Memory). The brain transceiver is inserted into the head thru the nose. These devices are used in the Soviet Union and the United Stated, as well as Sweden. The Swedish Prime Minister Palme gave the National Swedish Police Board the right (in 1973) to insert brain transmitters into the heads of human beings COVERTLY!
They also developed ELF and EM wave propagation equipment (RAYS) which affect the nerves and can cause nausea, fatigue, irritability, even death. As US Energy Secretary, John Herrington named the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory and New Mexico’s Los Alamos National Laboratory to house new advanced genetic research centers as part of a Project to decipher the Human Genome. The Genome holds the genetically coded instructions that guide the transformation of a single cell – a fertilized egg – into a Biological Being. “The Human Genome Project may well have the greatest direct impact on humanity of any scientific initiative before us today”, said David Shirley, Director of the Berkeley Laboratory.
Covertly, this research has been going on for years, at DULCE LABS. Level #6 is privately called “NIGHT-MARE HALL”, it holds the Genetic Labs. Reports from workers who have seen bizarre experimentation, are as follows: “I have seen multi-legged ‘humans’ that look like half-human / half-octopus. Also Reptilian-humans, and furry creatures that have hands like humans and cries like a baby, it mimics human words… also huge mixture of Lizard-humans in cages”. There are fish, seals, birds and mice that can barely be considered those species. There are several cages (and vats) of Winged-humanoids, grotesque Bat-like creatures…but 3 1/2 to 7 feet tall. Gargoyle-like beings and Draco-Reptoids.
Level #7 is worse, row after row of thousands of humans and human mixtures in cold storage. Here too are embryo storage vats of Humanoids in various stages of development.
“I frequently encountered humans in cages, usually dazed or drugged, but sometimes they cried and begged for help. We were told they were hopelessly insane and involved in high risk drug tests to cure insanity. We were told to never try to speak to them at all. At the beginning we believed that story. Note: Human and animal abductions (for their Blood and other parts) slowed in the mid-1980s, when the Livermore Berkeley Labs began production of artificial blood for Dulce.
William Cooper states: “A clash occurred where in 66 people, of our people, from the National Recon Group, the DELTA group, which is responsible for Security of all Alien connected Projects, were killed.” The DELTA Group (within Intelligence Support Activity) have been seen with badges which have a black Triangle on a red background. DELTA is the fourth letter of the Greek alphabet. It has the form of a triangle, and figures prominently in certain Masonic Signs.

INSIDE THE DULCE BASE
Security Officers wear jumpsuits, with the Dulce Symbol on the front upper left side. The standard hand weapon, at Dulce is a “Flash Gun”, which is good against Humans and Aliens. The ID card (used in card slots, for the doors and elevators) has the Dulce Symbol above the ID photo. “Government Honchos” use cards with the Great Seal of the U.S. on it. “The Cult of the All-Seeing Eye” (THE NEW WORLD ORDER) 13, “666” The Phoenix Empire….”9″ “Illuminism”… “One out of many”.
After the Second Level, everyone is weighed, in the nude, then given a Uniform. “Visitors” are given an ‘off white’ uniform. In front of ALL sensitive areas are scales built under the doorway, by the door control. The persons card must match with the weight and code or the door won’t open. Any discrepancy in weight (any change over three pounds) will summon Security. No one is allowed to carry anything into or out of sensitive areas. All supplies are put thru a Security conveyor system. The Alien Symbol language appears a lot at the Facility.
During the construction of the Facility (which was done in stages, over many years) the Aliens assisted in the Design and Construction materials. Many of the things assembled by the workers, were of a Technology they could not understand, yet…it would function when fully put together. Example: The elevators have no cables. They are controlled magnetically. The Magnetic system is inside the walls.
There are no conventional electrical controls. All is controlled by advanced Magnetics. That includes a magnetically induced (phosphorescent ) Illumination System. There are no regular light bulbs. All EXITS are magnetically controlled. Note: it has been reported that, “If you place a large magnet on a entrance, it will affect an immediate interruption. Long line of lights appearing on the north side and disappearing on the south side of view. While walking at about 6"20am, I observed a long row flights toward the ESE of the horizon moving in a North to South direction. The lights made no sound and remained at a steady speed. The lights appeared on the north end of the line and disappeared on the south end of the line. It was diicult to estimate distance, but the line looked at least a mile long. The lights appeared lower than commercial airline travel, and were located lower than the adjacent clouds. I observed the lights for five minutes, after which the disappeared.

Russia opts for lunar project with China over continued cooperation with ISS partners beyond LEO
HELSINKI — Russia is preparing to sign a memorandum of understanding with China to cooperate on a vision for an international lunar research station.
“Roscosmos has completed domestic proceedings to harmonize the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of People’s Republic of China on cooperation to create the International Lunar Research Station,” Roscosmos Press Office told SpaceNews in an email.
“The date to sign the above mentioned MoU has not been determined yet and is currently discussed with the Chinese partners,” Roscosmos said. An Order of the Government of the Russian Federation relating to the move was published online Feb. 11.
Roscosmos press office said the official announcement of the plans to create the International Lunar Research Station is planned to coincide with one of the upcoming international events. St. Petersburg is due to host the Global Space Exploration Conference 2021 in June.
Roscosmos did not provide requested further details on the makeup of, nor contributions to the International Lunar Research Station.
The ILRS is understood to be a Chinese-developed vision for a robotic base at the lunar south pole. The first steps will be the upcoming Chang’e-,6, -7 and -8 missions and international missions such as Russia’s Luna 27. In the early 2030s an expanded ILRS will involve long-term robotic and potentially short-term crewed missions. A long-term human presence at the lunar south pole is the goal for 2036-2045.
The project, at this early stage, would appear to consist of Chinese, Russian and potentially other nations contributing their own, discrete spacecraft. This would be in contrast to a more complex, integrated program such as the International Space Station.
ILRS objectives include “construction and operation of human[ity]’s first sharing platform in the lunar south pole, supporting long-term, large-scale scientific exploration, technical experiments and development and utilization of lunar resources’, according to a 2020 presentation to the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS) by the Lunar Exploration and Space Engineering Center under the China National Space Administration (CNSA).
From Gateway to China-Russia lunar station
The development follows Russia opting not to join eight nations, including the U.S., in signing on to the Artemis Accords last October. The Accords are a set of principles and norms for those who want to participate in the NASA-led Artemis lunar exploration program.
Bleddyn Bowen, a lecturer in international relations at the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom, told SpaceNews that the development is not such a surprise, given that Russia has always been lukewarm to the Lunar Gateway, part of the Artemis program, and this will have been factored in. However the project will still suffer from the loss of Russian expertise.
Bowen sees the move from Russia as an ISS partner to working more closely with China in lunar exploration rather than ISS partners is part of wider space-related and geopolitical shifts, particularly since the outbreak of the Ukranian conflict.
“This MoU fits the larger trend, which is Russia moving into a closer orbit with China,” says Bowen, adding that this more formal agreement builds on existing cooperation in material science, data sharing, purchase agreements and lunar exploration.
Bowen cautions however that this is “just a memorandum of understanding, so we’ll have to wait and what, if anything, comes from this”.
Zhang Ming, a researcher on international security and space issues at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, told SpaceNews both China and Russia, who have long cooperated in space, have difficulties in working with the U.S. for different reasons. Zhang notes that Russia had expressed concerns that Artemis was too “U.S.-centric” and she would expect “more and more space and lunar cooperation between Russia and China” if the “United State continues its space policies and practices without any change.”
“The U.S. advances its space agenda aggressively and sometimes unilaterally in recent years despite the concerns of the rest [of the] world, which made China and Russia very worried. The mistrust and skepticism towards U.S. motives will promote China and Russia to further their space cooperation,” Zhang said.
Roscosmos chief Dmitry Rogozin last year told Russian media China and Russia had agreed they will “probably” build a moon research base together, following talks with Director of the China National Space Administration Zhang Kejian.
Brian Weeden of the Secure World Foundation also believes the split has been coming for sometime, citing the Ukraine invasion and 2016 election interference. “I think we’re at a much different US-Russia space relationship than we had for the past few decades.”
“I don’t think it’s going to have a serious impact on Artemis. Russia indeed has some experience in robotic lunar landers but no human spaceflight experience and their space sector has been declining for some time,” says Weeden. “The space partnership with Russia in the ISS was driven more by national security and foreign policy reasons than a need to have Russian expertise. It’s useful, but not critical.”
The European Space Agency has also been involved in discussions, while recently having signed an MoU with NASA on the Gateway. “At ESA we are following the Chinese lunar exploration plans very closely in order to see where our respective programmatic interest could meet, primarily the CE-6, -7 and -8 missions but also the ILRS initiative”, Karl Bergquist, ESA’s international relations administrator, told SpaceNews last year.
From Chang’e to ILRS
The ILRS is an evolutionary, expanded stage of Chinese lunar exploration following the approval of a first set of missions in the early 2000s. China has since launched two lunar orbiters, a pair of lander and rover missions and, in late 2020, the complex Chang’e-5 lunar sample return mission.
Chang’e-6, a polar sample return mission, and the multi-spacecraft Chang’e-7 are scheduled for around 2023-2024. The later Chang’e-8 mission will be designed for in-situ resource utilization and 3D-printing technology tests, as well as life science related to potential long-term stays on the moon. These missions will form the robotic basis of the ILRS before expansion into more long term base.
China is also developing capabilities for deep space human spaceflight. In May 2020 China tested a new generation spacecraft and is also developing a super-heavy-lift launcher for space infrastructure and lunar missions. A new, three-core launcher for potential crewed lunar missions is also in development.

It all had started a few years before the “Space Race” began between the two rivalry nations: the USA and Russia. The world was stunned by the daily UFO sightings, and stories of alien contact flushed newspapers. It was the era of two types of people: the first one was groups of like-minded people, for example, engineers, scientists, and inventors who dismissed any alien contact and flying saucers’ stories, while the second ones were the alien contactees who also claimed to had been in the UFOs. These groups never aligned with each other, but Wilbert Brockhouse Smith (1910-1962), a Canadian engineer was the only line of connection between these two groups.
Mr. Smith worked as a senior radio engineer for the Canadian government’s Department of Transport in the late 1940s and 50s. He was the reason behind the radio communication between Canada and the United States at that time. Very few people know that Mr. Smith convinced the Canadian government to establish a program to monitor the UFOs that eventually detect the strange aerial phenomenon which, according to him, was not earthly. While asking Americans about the existence of UFOs, he received a reply from them that the US government had put this subject at their uppermost concern, and it even was the more highly top secret than the atomic bomb.

Besides, according to researcher Grant Cameron, Mr. Smith played a major role in establishing Radio Ottawa used by Canadian spies and also for tracking secret Soviet communications.
In 1950, the Canadian UFO study program, Project Magnet was established by Transport Canada under the supervision of Mr. Smith. The government funded the project for four years, but he received informal funding after. In 1952, he set up an observatory at Shirley’s Bay to study the findings of UFO sightings under Project Magnet. He had a personal interest in geo-magnetism, which made him conclude that the UFOs were of extraterrestrial origin, propelled by magnetic forces, and actually from parallel universes.
Mr. Smith said:
“It is my opinion that the people from elsewhere choose all sorts of methods to make contact with us, and their technology and understanding being much better than ours, they can use methods which we find quite incomprehensible.”

Interestingly, he believed that the UFOs were controlled through physic powers, and such statements embarrassed the Department of Transport. In 1952, when the great UFO wave hit the media, Mr. Smith claimed that the United States Air Force shot down a UFO near Washington, D.C, recovered its piece and let him borrow it. When asked if he had returned the piece to the USAF, he replied that it went to a much more highly secret group (It was neither FBI nor CIA), which identity he could not disclose.
Smith’s contact with aliens
Surprisingly, Mr. Smith was also a firm believer in aliens. In 1961, he gave a speech at the Vancouver Area UFO Club, where he claimed to had been in contact with aliens, referring to them as “the boys topside.” Furthermore, he said that the aliens had explained to him that the speed of light is not constant, and time works differently in the universe, not like ticking on Earth.
“Their ships, he was told, were supported on the Earth’s gravitational field. The fields surrounding their ships, he added, created areas that reduced areas that weakened the strength of objects that came into contact with them, accounting for the destruction of earthly military craft that flew too close to them. This explained, among other phenomenon, the May 1956 crash of a military jet into the Villa St. Louis convent in Orleans — the jet, Smith said, flew into a “very strong vortex of reduced binding,” causing it to break apart.”
On November 21, 1950, Mr. Smith wrote a memo which was classified as “Top Secret” but later, it was recovered from the Archives of the University of Ottawa. According to the memo, the Canadian government was serious about UFOs and had been building a secret technology using oceanic radiation, atmospheric radio-activity, and geo-magnetism. He further wrote that his work in geomagnetic and the energy on which flying saucers operate was connected.
Before his death from cancer, Mr. Smith asked his wife to hide all his research and sensitive files, as he was afraid that it would get into the wrong hands. He died on December 27, 1962, and soon after that, the Russians, Americans, and Canadians approached his wife.

Jackie said she had seen a man in a spacesuit in a live broadcast from Mars, but this information is concealed by the NASA authorities. She claimed to be part of a team of specialists processing information from the Viking, the first Mars rover to send images from the surface of Mars to Earth.
“I wonder if you could solve a 27-year-old mystery for me,’ she asked the presenter. ‘That old Viking rover was running around. Then I saw two men in space suits – not the bulky suits we normally used, but they looked protective. They came over the horizon walking to the Viking Explorer.”
The Vikings 1 and 2 landed in 1975 and 1976 and sent back the first data on the surface of Mars, including the apparent absence of extraterrestrial life.
NASA claimed that no traces of life were seen there, the Vikings found all the elements necessary for life on Earth. Carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen, oxygen, and phosphorus were present on Mars.
Jackie vowed that 6 other NASA employees witnessed this event with her. When those people tried to tell everyone about what they had seen and tried to leave the room, they found out that the front door was locked and the paper was hung on the door window so that no one else could look into it or enter.

Of course, so far none of those 6 alleged employees have contacted Jackie to confirm her words.
John Lear: Secret Missions To Moon & Mars
Former CIA pilot John Lear and former Lockheed L-1011 Captain also said that NASA astronauts flew to Mars in 1966. Moreover, Lear believes that astronauts had been preparing for this mission especially long. They introduced certain drugs into the body, allowing people to adapt to Martian climatic conditions. Allegedly, those astronauts could breathe rarefied Martian air, so NASA had the opportunity to launch humans on the red planet for a longer time.

For those who do not know, John Lear is the son of Bill Lear, who founded Lear Jet in 1962. So, there is no doubt that he would have sensitive information related to secret technology and extraterrestrial activities.
During his interview with Coast to Coast AM radio program, Lear had given statements that could be hard for anybody to digest. He said that in 1953, a UFO crashed with an extraterrestrial named EBE 3, who helped the US government to build spacecraft with alien technology. Then he said that in 1962, the craft with incredible speed was built that carry passengers and take to Moon in just 60 minutes. In 1966, NASA had a trip to Mars. What’s more, “humans there were adapted to breathe in the thin atmosphere.”
Lear said: “The population of Mars is around 600 million and they are exactly like us.”
He claimed that his father was involved in the anti-gravity technology programs which were highly secret. According to him, everything we know about Moon is a lie. In the 70s, NASA began destroying photographs taken by Apollo 8, 10, and 11, in which it was possible to see the cities, bases, pipes, roads, vegetation, lights, mining, and a nuclear reactor.
Apart from John Lear, there are other US officials who made similar statements. Philip J Corso, a former US Army officer said that Grey aliens, also referred to as Zeta Reticulans were not really aliens, but bio machines specially created to work on other planets. There are dozens of such stories including Project SERPO.

At least 3 of the billion-dollar-plus TR-3Bs were flying by 1994. Aurora is the most classified aerospace development program in existence. The TR-3B is the most exotic vehicle created by the Aurora Program. It is funded and operationally tasked by the National Reconnaissance Office, the NSA, and the CIA. The TR-3B flying triangle is not fiction and was built with technology available in the mid-80s. Not every UFO spotted is one of theirs.

The TR-3B vehicles outer coating is reactive to electrical Radar stimulation and can change reflectiveness, radar absorptiveness, and color. This polymer skin, when used in conjunction with the TR-3Bs Electronic Counter Measures and, ECCM, can make the vehicle look like a small aircraft or a flying cylinder–or even trick radar receivers into falsely detecting a variety of aircraft, no aircraft, or several aircraft at various locations. A circular, plasma filled accelerator ring called the Magnetic Field Disrupter, surrounds the rotatable crew compartment and is far ahead of any imaginable technology.
Sandia and Livermore’s laboratories developed the reverse engineered MFD technology. The government will go to any lengths to protect this technology. The plasma, mercury based, is pressurized at 250,000 atmospheres at a temperature of 150 degrees Kelvin and accelerated to 50,000 rpm to create a super-conductive plasma with the resulting gravity disruption. The MFD generates a magnetic vortex field, which disrupts or neutralizes the effects of gravity on mass within proximity, by 89 percent. Do not misunderstand. This is not antigravity. Anti-gravity provides a repulsive force that can be used for propulsion. The MFD creates a disruption of the Earth’s gravitational field upon the mass within the circular accelerator. The mass of the circular accelerator and all mass within the accelerator, such as the crew capsule, avionics, MFD systems, fuels, crew environmental systems, and the nuclear reactor, are reduced by 89%. This causes the effect of making the vehicle extremely light and able to outperform and outmaneuver any craft yet constructed–except, of course, those UFOs we did not build.
The TR-3B is a high altitude, stealth, reconnaissance platform with an indefinite loiter time. Once you get it up there at speed, it doesn’t take much propulsion to maintain altitude. At Groom Lake, there have been whispered rumors of a new element that acts as a catalyst to the plasma. With the vehicle mass reduced by 89%, the craft can travel at Mach 9, vertically or horizontally. My sources say the performance is limited only the stresses that the human pilots can endure. This is a lot, really, considering along with the 89% reduction in mass, the G forces are also reduced by 89%.

The TR-3Bs propulsion is provided by 3 multimode thrusters mounted at each bottom corner of the triangular platform. The TR-3 is a sub-Mach 9 vehicle until it reaches altitudes above l20,000 feet–then God knows how fast it can go! The 3 multimode rocket engines mounted under each corner of the craft use hydrogen or methane and oxygen as a propellant. In a liquid oxygen/hydrogen rocket system, 85% of the propellant mass is oxygen. The nuclear thermal rocket engine uses a hydrogen propellent, augmented with oxygen for additional thrust. The reactor heats the liquid hydrogen and injects liquid oxygen in the supersonic nozzle so that the hydrogen burns concurrently in the liquid oxygen afterburner. The multimode propulsion system can; operate in the atmosphere, with thrust provided by the nuclear reactor, in the upper atmosphere, with hydrogen propulsion, and in orbit, with the combined hydrogen oxygen propulsion.
What you have to remember is, that the 3 rocket engines only have to propel 11 percent of the mass of the Top Secret TR-3B. The engines are reportedly built by Rockwell. Many sightings of triangular UFOs are not alien vehicles but the top-secret TR-3B. The NSA, NRO, CIA, and USAF have been playing a shell game with aircraft nomenclature – creating the TR-3, modified to the TR-3A, the TR-3B, and the Teir 2, 3, and 4, with suffixes like Plus or Minus, added on to confuse further the fact that each of these designators is a different aircraft and not the same aerospace vehicle. A TR-3B is as different from a TR-3A as a banana is from a grape. Some of these vehicles are manned and others are unmanned.
It all becomes apparent in Belgium where, after frequent sightings of flying lights and a mid-air near-miss by UFO, at one point Belgian Air Force, anxious to identify the origin of the phenomena, authorized F16 scrambles under the condition that the visual observations on the ground were confirmed by the local police and detection on the radar.
One of the consequences of such a decision was that on 31 March 1990 at 00:05 hr, two F16 were scrambled from Beauvechain airbase and guided towards the radar contacts.
A total of 9 interception attempts have been made that night. On six occasions the pilots established a lock-on with their air interception radar. Lock-on distances varied between 5 and 8 NM. On all occasions targets varied speed and altitude very quickly and break-locks occurred after 10 to 60 seconds. Speeds varied between 150 and 1010 knots. On three occasions both F16 registered simultaneous lock-ons with the same parameters. The two F16 were flying approximately 2 NM apart. Owing to the night conditions, no visual contact could be established by either of the F16 pilots.
Antarctic researchers found life deep under the sea.

The accidental discovery of marine organisms on a boulder on the sea floor beneath 900 metres (3,000ft) of Antarctic ice shelf has led scientists to rethink the limits of life on Earth.
Researchers stumbled on the life-bearing rock after sinking a borehole through nearly a kilometre of the Filchner-Ronne ice shelf on the south-eastern Weddell Sea to obtain a sediment core from the seabed.
While the boulder scuppered their chances of obtaining the core, footage from a video camera sent down the hole captured the first images of organisms stuck to a rock far beneath an ice shelf.
“It’s slightly bonkers,” said Dr Huw Griffiths, a marine biogeographer at the British Antarctic Survey. “Never in a million years would we have thought about looking for this kind of life, because we didn’t think it would be there.”
Ice shelves form when frozen water from the continent’s interior flows to the coast and floats on to the surrounding sea. As the ice flows over the land, it can pick up boulders that become embedded in the base of the ice shelf before dropping out on to the sea floor.
While surveys of Antarctic marine life have found some small mobile organisms – such as fish, worms, jellyfish and krill – far beneath ice shelves, they have never previously found stationary filter-feeders, which survive by ingesting food that falls down on them. Their absence led many scientists to suspect that the total darkness, the lack of food and the -2C temperature was too hostile for them.
Photos and video footage of the boulder show that it is home to at least two types of sponge, one of which has a long stem that opens into a head. But other organisms, which could be tube worms or stalked barnacles, also appear to be growing on the rock. Details on the discovery have been published in Frontiers in Marine Science.

The isolated boulder community lies 500 metres under the base of the ice shelf and 160 miles (260km) from the nearest open water. Because of the strong currents in the area, the food they ingest – perhaps dead plankton – is thought to be carried between 370 and 930 miles before reaching them.
“This is by far the furthest under an ice shelf that we’ve seen any of these filter-feeding animals,” said Griffiths. “These things are stuck on a rock and only get fed if something comes floating along.
“It was a real shock to find them there, a really good shock, but we can’t do DNA tests, we can’t work out what they’ve been eating, or how old they are. We don’t even know if they are new species, but they’re definitely living in a place where we wouldn’t expect them to be living,” he said.

Parallel Twin Ziggurats: The Tower of Babel and Pyramid of Cholula
From the oasis sands of the biblical cradle of Mesopotamia all the way to the volcanic Valley of Mexico, parallel pyramids and mirroring myths have endured across the ages. Isolated from each other by vast oceans and deserts of time, disperse cultures have incorporated analogous stories into their mythology, building structures, such as the Tower of Babelor the Pyramid of Cholula, that are strikingly similar even though they are located in different corners of the globe.
Stories of ziggurats built by different cultures abound, one could even call them twin towers, challenging conventional narratives of human history. These tales have several components in common: offended deities, the multiplication of languages, a global deluge and vexing ancient structures. These aspects are all intertwined, as if they are all pieces of a grand global puzzle waiting to be deciphered.
Mythology must not be blindly accepted at face value (thank you very much Dr. Jones), but on the other hand, to instantly dismiss mythology as ancient fiction is equally flawed reasoning. The former results in superstition, the latter produces ignorance. Some of the most renowned scholars on the subject of comparative mythology, such as Carl Jung and Joseph Campbell, theorize that widespread mythological parallels amongst separate cultures can be explained away by the formation of base archetypes conjured from the cauldron of the collective human subconscious. While their expertise and the essence of this concept are beyond question, some myths are so specific, so universal, and are then compounded by their entanglement with mysterious structures, they defy this concept.
There are widespread mythological parallels relating a story to that of the Tower of Babel.
The most commonly known of all these accounts is the biblical Tower of Babel narrative found in the Book of Genesis, chapter eleven verses one through nine. This narrative basically states that the generations following a global deluge cataclysm united together under one language. They migrated west into the region of Shinar ( Sumer or modern day Iraq) and they were determined to build a great city, with a tower.
There is a curious indication that somehow, this tower would empower them and prevent any future annihilation. Furthermore, this project is seen as an affront to the supreme deity. To counter this effort, the deity intervenes by confounding the language that united them, thereby undermining the project and causing the people to scatter throughout the planet.
Authors and scholars ranging from ancient times up to the present have made a variety of noteworthy observations and interpretations regarding this account. Josephus for example, wrote that a key aspect of the story is the arrogance of the tyrannical ruler who commissioned the construction whom the biblical text names Nimrod. Another interpretation is that this is more of an etiological myth (a myth that explains the origin of something unknown) which provides an explanation for the origin of different languages and cultures.
Perhaps the scholarly observations of the greatest magnitude are the attempts to identify the structure in question by associating it with the mysterious ziggurats of ancient Babylon and Sumer. This is quite logical due to the fact that the cities mentioned in the texts have historical basis in fact, were said to have been founded by this ruler in the texts, and come complete with enigmatic ziggurat structures, or towers, as their focal point. The extremely loose consensus among modern scholars identifies this tower with the Ziggurat of Etemenanki in Babylon which was somewhat restored by Nebuchadnezzar II and then eventually destroyed in a restoration attempt by Alexander the Great .

A ziggurat is an enormous, ancient structure composed of terraced layers of stone which ascended to great heights by stacking raised platforms atop each other and were physically climbed by spiraling ramps. These were built by the Elamites, the Elbaites, the Akkadians, the Sumerians, and the Babylonians, dating as far back as the sixth millennium BC.
The ziggurat was not utilized for communal worship, but instead was believed to be the literal dwelling place of the deity to whom it was dedicated. Human presence at the ziggurat was restricted to an elite priesthood and a small contingent of armed guards. According to Herodotus, at the summit of the ziggurat was a temple that housed a small shrine, and at this shrine, offerings were made exclusively by the high priest who also preformed other secretive occult rituals.
The Ziggurat of Etemenanki
In the 1880s, foundation cylinders were discovered with Neo-Babylonian inscriptions that chronicled the restoration effort by the king. It reads:
At that time my lord Marduk told me in regard to E-temen-anki, the ziggurat of Babylon, which before my day was (already) very weak and badly buckled, to ground its bottom on the breast of the netherworld, to make its top vie with the heavens. I fashioned mattocks, spades and brick-molds from ivory, ebony and musukkannu-wood, and set them in the hands of a vast workforce levied from my land. I had them shape mud bricks without number and mold baked bricks like countless raindrops. I had the River Arahtu bear asphalt and bitumen like a mighty flood. Through the sagacity of Ea, through the intelligence of Marduk, through the wisdom of Nabû and Nissaba, by means of the vast mind that the god who created me let me possess, I deliberated with my great intellect, I commissioned the wisest experts and the surveyor established the dimensions with the twelve-cubit rule. The master-builders drew taut the measuring cords, they determined the limits. I sought confirmation by consulting Samas, Adad and Marduk and, whenever my mind deliberated (and) I pondered (unsure of) the dimensions, the great gods made (the truth) known to me by the procedure of (oracular) confirmation. Through the craft of exorcism, the wisdom of Ea and Marduk, I purified that place and made firm its foundation platform on its ancient base. In its foundations I laid out gold, silver, gemstones from mountain and sea. Under the brickwork I set heaps of shining sapsu, sweet-scented oil, aromatics and red earth. I fashioned representations of my royal likeness bearing a soil-basket, and positioned (them) variously in the foundation platform. For my lord Marduk I made it an object fitting for wonder, just as it was in former times.

Herodotus’s Account of the Same Babylonian Ziggurat
Before the discovery of this royal inscription in the 1880s, the only other description of this particular ziggurat came from Herodotus who described it in his writings from the mid-fifth century BC, he wrote:
The center of each division of the town was occupied by a fortress. In the one stood the palace of the kings, surrounded by a wall of great strength and size: in the other was the sacred precinct of Jupiter [Zeus] Belus, a square enclosure two furlongs [402 m/1319 feet] each way, with gates of solid brass; which was also remaining in my time. In the middle of the precinct there was a tower of solid masonry, a furlong [201 m/659 feet] in length and breadth, upon which was raised a second tower, and on that a third, and so on up to eight. The ascent to the top is on the outside, by a path which winds round all the towers. When one is about half-way up, one finds a resting-place and seats, where persons can sit for some time on their way to the summit. On the topmost tower there is a spacious temple, and inside the temple stands a couch of unusual size, richly adorned, with a golden table by its side. There is no statue of any kind set up in the place, nor is the chamber occupied of nights by any one but a single native woman, who, as the Chaldeans [the Babylonians], the priests of this god, affirm, is chosen for himself by the deity out of all the women of the land .
The White Temple ziggurat in Uruk is an example of a simple ziggurat from ancient Sumer. It’s purpose was to bring the temple closer to the heavens.
There are many, extremely ancient Sumerian myths that predate biblical narratives. They are most certainly their precursors especially since the biblical narrative itself emphasizes the role of the patriarchal figure Abraham whose father was said to have had significant status in one of these very cities. Among these precursor narratives, is one that is undoubtedly the original version of the biblical story of the tower and the confounding of languages.
The story is entitled Enmerkar and the Lord of Arratta . Although some lines of text are missing, the nucleus of the story is that a king called Enmerkar is told by his patron deity to subjugate a neighboring kingdom and demand huge quantities of mineral tribute so as to embark on future constructing of more ziggurat dwellings and sanctuaries for the deities. The rival king refuses to submit, and Enmerkar (aided by the deities) conquers the rival king and the deity Enki/Ea is invoked to confound the united language.
This sets of a chain of events resulting in the dispersal of the population who now speak a variety of languages. The incantation invoking Enki reads:
“Enki, the lord of abundance and of steadfast decisions, the wise and knowing lord of the land, the expert of the gods, chosen for wisdom, the lord of Eridu, shall change the speech in their mouths, as many as he had placed there, and so the speech of mankind is truly one."
Could it be that the parallel myths throughout the world are actually the story of the same event in history? Here an artist’s version of how the Great Pyramid of Cholula in Mexico looked originally.
Similar parallel myths exist throughout the world. The Native American Cherokee have an oral tradition that contains many elements which are similar to the Sumerian myth.
When we lived beyond the great waters there were twelve clans belonging to the Cherokee tribe. And back in the old country in which we lived the country was subject to great floods. So in the course of time we held a council and decided to build a storehouse reaching to heaven. The Cherokees said that when the house was build and the floods came the tribe would just leave the earth and go to heaven. And we commenced to build a great structure, and when it was towering into one of the highest heavens the great powers destroyed the apex, cutting it down to about half of its height. But as the tribe was fully determined to build to heaven for safety they were not discouraged but commenced to repair the damage done by the gods. Finally, they completed the lofty structure and considered themselves safe from the floods. But after it was completed the gods destroyed the high part, again, and when they determined to repair the damage they found that the language of the tribe was confused or destroyed.
The Greco Roman narrative of the Gigantomachy is almost identical to this story. However, it must be objectively conceded that the close contact of these cultures very well could have transmitted this myth from Mesopotamia to the Mediterranean via contagion and conflation much in the same manner as it was transmitted from Mesopotamian to Hebrew cultures. Be that as it may, this mode of transmission cannot explain the parallel myths and enigmatic structures found at far flung corners of the globe. One of the most striking parallels is the proverbial twin tower of the Great Pyramid of Cholula in Mexico.
The Great Pyramid of Cholula, also known as Tlachihualtepetl, is the largest known pyramid on Earth in terms of volume.
The largest known pyramid on Earth, in terms of volume, resides in the Valley of Mexico. Known as the Great Pyramid of Cholula, this enormous pyramid is closely associated with the Mesoamerican deity Quetzalcoatl and the nearby, equally enigmatic, site of Teotihuacan. While this structure and the previously discussed ziggurat are not remotely twin in terms of their design, they are astonishingly twin in terms of their mythological traditions and mysterious functions.
According to Aztec mythology, (note that the Aztecs absolutely did not construct the Cholula Pyramid or Teotihuacan, but regarded them as sacred sites of pilgrimage) the Quinametzin were a race of giants who inhabited the region in the previous “Sun of Rain” era. They stood twelve-feet-tall (3.7 meters) and it was they who were responsible for the construction of both Teotihuacan and the Great Pyramid of Cholula.
In the sixteenth century AD, Dominican friar Diego Duran wrote a report that was relayed to him by an old priest of Cholula. This account stated that when the sun first rose there were giants in the land and they decided to build a tower that would lead them up to the Sun. The creator deity was angered by this and summoned the inhabitants of the sky to destroy the tower and scatter the race of giants. Another variation within Aztec mythology is that of seven giants (principle among them Xelhua), who, having survived a cataclysmic deluge, arrived in the valley and attempted to construct a mountain that would prevent another such catastrophe. The gods were angered by this, and hurled fire down onto the pyramid, killing many of them and ceasing its construction.
The Key to the Mystery is Etymology
It can, and has, been argued that these Mesoamerican myths were subject to the biblical projections of the friars and missionaries who first recorded them, and that this is the explanation for such stark parallels. However, this convenient cop-out does not stand up in the court of reality, and the reason why is the etymology of the names associated with the sites which existed long before these missionaries ever arrived and which parallel the Tower of Babel narrative.
Chapter eleven verse six of the Book of Genesis states: “And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” The word cholula itself originates from the Nahuatl word cholollan which means “place of refuge.” The word Teotihuacan itself means “The Place Where Men Become Gods.”
In the Chimalpopoca Codex is a narrative in which, after a period of just living on Earth, Quetzalcoatl (the deity associated with Teotihuacan and Cholula) becomes intoxicated with his celibate priestess sister, copulates with her, and neglects his sacred obligations. The next day, he and his subjects erect an enormous stone chest. In the story Quetzalcoatl lies down inside the chest, clad entirely with jade, and is set ablaze. His ashes and heart then rise up into the heavens whereupon he became the morning star.
The Greek Gigantomachy narrative states that the giants sought to lay siege to Olympus (literally translated as sky) by stacking mountains atop mountains. The Greek etymology of the word pyramid itself is pyr-fire ra-star mid-heart. These etymological connections were not projected by anyone as they existed for thousands of years before contact of any kind.
What all this means is a mysterious riddle wrapped in an enigma. The reader will have to draw their own conclusions, but it can be objectively stated once again that these links cannot be the result of some kind of cultural contagion. Furthermore, it must be noted that the ziggurat and the pyramids of both Teotihuacan and Cholula were built by unknown peoples for unknown functions using unknown methods in some dark distant recess of prehistory.
