Las Vegas is Building the World’s Largest Sphere
The skyline-changing MSG Sphere entertainment venue in Las Vegas will be the largest such structure in the world.
The $1.8 billion orb will feature 17,500 seats surrounded by a super high-resolution LED screen that projects at an amazing 19,000 x 13,500 pixels, a world record.
The set up will create a revolutionary fully immersive, multi-sensory platform for audiences, and artists.
Just gotta beat that Covid thing and we’re off. Have a look.
Earth scientists at the turn of the century, Gavin Schmidt among them, were enthralled by a 56-million-year-old segment of geologic history known as the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum (PETM). What most intrigued them was its resemblance to our own time: Carbon levels spiked, temperatures soared, ecosystems toppled. At professional workshops, experts tried to guess what natural processes could have triggered such severe global warming. At the dinner parties that followed, they indulged in less conventional speculation.
During one such affair, Schmidt, now the director of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies, couldn’t resist the comparison. If modern climate change — unambiguously the product of human industry — and the PETM are so alike, he mused, “Wouldn’t it be funny if it was the same cause?” His colleagues were charmed by the implication. An ancient race of intelligent, fossil-fueled… chickens? Lemurs? “But,” he says, “nobody took it seriously, obviously.” Until, nearly two decades later, he took it seriously himself.
One day in 2017, Schmidt received a visit from Adam Frank, a University of Rochester astrophysicist seeking insight into whether civilizations on other planets would inevitably alter their climates like we have. Truth be told, Frank expected his alien conjecture to come across as mildly outlandish.
He was surprised when Schmidt interrupted with an even stranger idea, one he’d been incubating for years: “What makes you so sure we’re the first civilization on this planet?”
Worlds Within
One thing nearly all human creations have in common is that, geologically speaking, they’ll be gone in no time. Pyramids, pavement, temples and toasters — eroding away, soon to be buried and ground to dust beneath shifting tectonic plates. The oldest expansive patch of surface is the Negev Desert in southern Israel, and it dates back a mere 1.8 million years. Once we disappear, it won’t take Earth long to scrub out the facade human civilization has built upon its surface. And the fossil record is so sporadic that a species as short-lived as us (at least so far) might never find a place in it.
How, then, would observers in the distant future know we were here? If the direct evidence of our existence is bound for oblivion, will anything remain to tip them off? It’s a short step from these tantalizing questions to the one Schmidt posed to Frank: What if we are the future observers, discounting some prehistoric predecessor that ruled the world in long, long ago?
Frank’s mind whirled as he considered. A devotee of the cosmos, he felt suddenly dazed by the mind-boggling immensity of what lay beneath, rather than above, him. “You’re looking at Earth’s past as if it were another world,” he says. At first glance the answer seems self-evident — surely we would know if another species had colonized the globe like Homo sapiens did. Or, he now wondered, would we?
Take the analogy where the planet’s entire history is compressed into a single day: Complex life emerged about three hours ago; the industrial era has lasted only a few thousandths of a second. Given how rapidly we are rendering our home uninhabitable, some researchers think the average lifespan of advanced civilizations may be just a handful of centuries. If that’s true, the past few hundred million years could hide any number of industrial periods.
Humanity’s Technosignature
In the months after that conversation, Frank and Schmidt crafted what seems to be the first thorough scholarly response to the possibility of a pre-human civilization on Earth. Even sci-fi has mostly neglected the idea. One 1970s episode of Doctor Who, however, stars intelligent reptilians, awakened by nuclear testing after 400 million years of hibernation. In homage to those fictional forebears, the scientists dubbed their thought experiment the “Silurian hypothesis.”
Both scientists are quick to explain that they don’t actually believe in the hypothesis. There isn’t the slightest evidence for it. The point, as Frank puts it, is that “the question is an important one, and deserves to be answered with acuity,” not dismissed out of hand. Moreover, he says, “you can’t know until you look, and you can’t look until you know what to look for.” To see what traces an industrial civilization might leave behind, they start with the only one we’re aware of.
Our seemingly indelible mark on this planet will someday be reduced to a thin layer of rock, composed of the eclectic materials with which we’ve constructed the human world. Collectively they will make up our “technosignature,” the unique imprint that accompanies every technological species. For example, the sediment from our current geological epoch, the Anthropocene, will likely contain abnormal amounts of nitrogen from fertilizer, and rare-earth elements from electronics. Even more telling, it may harbor veins of substances that don’t occur naturally, like chlorofluorocarbons, plastics and manufactured steroids. (In fact, that’s the premise of an ominous short story Schmidt wrote to accompany the study.)
Of course, there’s no reason every civilization must unfold in the same way. Some may never avail themselves of plastic. But they must share certain universal features. Probably they would disperse indicator species, like mice and rats in our case, in their travels. And Schmidt notes that even aliens can’t violate the laws of physics: “Does every technological species need energy? Yes, so where does the energy come from?”
We humans conquered our planet with the help of combustion, and it seems reasonable to bet that ascendant life forms everywhere do the same. It’s just intuitive, Frank says: “There's always biomass, and you can always set biomass on fire.” For a long time we’ve founded our industry on fossil fuels, and, climatic consequences aside, that will leave a geological footprint. Carbon occurs in three types, called isotopes. When we burn the tissues of long-dead creatures, we change the ratio of isotopes in the atmosphere, a shift known as the Suess effect. Scientists have noted similar ratios in events like the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum, and if anyone is looking in another 50 million years, they should have no trouble seeing it in the Anthropocene.
Anyone Out There?
So what about the PETM? Did those fumes originate in the engines of primeval jalopies? Unlikely. The carbon surge of that period was far more gradual than the one that began with our Industrial Revolution. The same is true of other comparable events in the distant past; geologists have yet to find anything as abrupt as the Anthropocene. That said, the brevity may be the problem — it can be incredibly difficult to make out short intervals in the rock record, as well as at the astronomical level. Which brings us to the Fermi paradox.
If the universe is so vast, with so many livable planets, why haven’t we found any hint of intelligent life? That’s what puzzled the Italian physicist Enrico Fermi. One solution is that plenty of civilizations have arisen, but they fizzle out so quickly that few exist at any given moment. Time, like space, is enormous, and humans may not overlap with many other extraterrestrial world-builders, reducing our chance of discovering any. Then there’s a more optimistic scenario: They may evade our notice not because they died off but because they mastered the art of sustainability, making their technosignatures less conspicuous.
That said, Frank is skeptical that a technological species could ever become undetectable — subtle, certainly, but not invisible. To build solar panels, you need raw materials; to acquire those materials, you need some other form of energy. As for wind power, recent research suggests that even if we raised enough turbines to power the planet, they too would contribute to short-term warming. This, Frank says, demonstrates at global scale the principle that there is no free lunch: “You cannot build a world-girdling civilization and not get some kind of feedback.”
The Search (and Fight) For Life
Since publishing the Silurian hypothesis, the authors have predictably attracted as many eccentrics as academics. “Everybody and their dog who has an ancient aliens podcast wanted to interview us,” Schmidt says. Both Schmidt and Frank realize the prospect of earlier earthlings is a seductive one. But regardless of who latches onto their hypothesis, they still see meaningful scientific lessons in their research.
For one, they hope it will inspire geologists looking in (and astrobiologists looking out) to hone their methods of detection. To identify a bygone civilization, they argue, scientists must search for a broad range of signals at once, everything from carbon fluctuations to synthetic chemicals. And they’ll need to pinpoint the rise and fall of these signals, given the importance of timing in distinguishing natural and industrial causes.
The hypothesis also bears on the famous Drake equation, used for calculating the number of active civilizations in the Milky Way galaxy. The equation assumes at most one civilization per inhabitable planet; an increase in that estimate could radically change its output, or the probability that we have intelligent galactic neighbors.
Perhaps most importantly, Frank and Schmidt’s work represents a call to action, and humility. It could be that both potential solutions to the Fermi paradox — extinction and technological transcendence — are possible. If so, we have a choice: “Are we going to live sustainably, or are we going to keep making a mess?” Schmidt wonders. “The louder we are in the cosmos, the more temporary we’re going to be.” Through one door, humans achieve a lasting place in the universe. Through the other we exit, leaving only a trail of cataclysmic breadcrumbs as a warning for the next big-brained saps to find — or overlook.
MUFON SADDENED BY THE PASSING OF DR. R. LEO SPRINKLE
MUFON SADDENED BY THE PASSING OF DR. R. LEO SPRINKLE
Well known UFO researcher Dr. R. Leo Sprinkle died this past week ( 22 november 2021) . Dr. R. Leo Sprinkle, known in the UFO community as a hardworking psychologist interested in UFOs, particularly alien abduction and who organized contactee conferences each year since 1980, has died at 91.
He was a Professor of Psychology at the University of Wyoming. MUFON joins the UFOlogy Community in mourning his passing. The man was not only brilliant but was a friend to many many experiencers throughout the years.
Dr. Sprinkle was very close to MUFON’s Colorado State Director Katie Griboski who wrote an entire book about the correspondences Dr. Sprinkle received over decades from the people he helped.
For those of you unfamiliar with him, Katie has allowed us to post this short biography from her book Letters of Love and Light.
Psychologist, hypnotherapist, and UFO contactee researcher R. Leo Sprinkle was born in 1930 in Rocky Ford, Colorado. As a young man he joined the United States Army, serving two years as a corporal in 194th Field Artillery Battalion in Wertheim, Germany.
He then returned to the United States, and began his studies at the University of Colorado, where he earned his bachelor’s degree, then a Master’s of Personnel Service in Counseling. He received his Ph.D. in Counseling and Guidance at the University of Missouri in 1961.
In 1964, after serving as Director of the Counseling Center at the University of North Dakota, he became Associate Professor of Guidance Education at the University of Wyoming. Leo served as Counselor and Associate Professor of Psychology there from 1967 till his retirement in 1989.
Leo’s many published writings have included his book Soul Samples (1999, Granite Publishing) and his approximately 50 articles published in academic and UFO journals. These have focused mainly on UFO research, extrasensory perception, hypnosis, reincarnation, spiritual growth, and counseling theory and practice.
Not long into his career, Leo became increasingly known in UFO circles as a researcher of contactee experiences, offering an open mind and a sympathetic ear for those needing to speak of their experiences. A nonbeliever for many years, Leo migrated, as he puts it, from “scoffer” to “skeptic” after experiencing a UFO sighting himself in 1949. A second sighting with his wife in 1956 then moved him from “skeptic” to “unwilling believer.”
By the mid 1960s, Leo was involved in trailblazing research and investigation of UFO abductions. As psychology professor and therapist, over the decades he has performed more than 500 hypnotic regressions of possible contactees and abductees. Viewed as an authority in the UFO field, he has spoken on this topic on national television and at international conferences.
Among the many cases Leo has investigated have been some of the most extraordinary and well-known UFO incidents to have occurred since 1930.
In 1964, using a set of standard tests, Leo’s breakthrough research included the first psychological study of hundreds of individuals who had reported sighting or experiencing a UFO. He concluded from this that most UFO witnesses operate within the normal psychological range……..
“My approach is to minimize the tendency to ‘explain’ (or explain away) the reality of psychic experiences,” Leo has said, “and to emphasize the willingness to explore the personal meaning of these human experiences of spiritual emergence.”
In 1980, Leo founded the University of Wyoming’s annual summer Rocky Mountain Conference on UFO Investigation as a meeting place for hundreds of UFO contactees, abductees, and other experiencers seeking affirmation and support.
In 1988, Leo published the PACTS model of abductee/contactee experience. Based on 24 years of study, it marked out five stages of experience. Briefly, these were: Preparation (family and cultural experiences of ESP and/or spiritual contacts, including childhood visitations by Spiritual Beings (SBs), Abduction (UFO sightings and/or abduction experiences inducted or initiated, involuntarily, by SBs), Contact (adult visitations inducted or initiated voluntarily by SBs), Training (instruction for a mission or task), and Service (cooperation with SBs—channeling verbal or written information from them, providing healing, instruction, or assistance to others).
There is also the accomplishment which this book celebrates: Leo’s active correspondence over 40 years, in supportive yet academically responsible ways, with UFO and ET experiencers all over the world.
Over the years, as a result of his research, Leo has concluded….that UFO activity is a part of an incoming wave of human consciousness—a shift into viewing ourselves not only as “planetary persons,” but as “cosmic citizens.”
Thank you Dr. Sprinkle. You will be greatly missed!
Remote Viewing Alien Life Forms: Locating Space Aliens On Earth
Remote Viewing Alien Life Forms: Locating Space Aliens On Earth
Most psychic abilities are innate and come naturally to people. Clairvoyance and telepathy are two of the most known abilities. However, there is a form of psychic ability that can be learned through a scientific method known as Scientific Remote Viewing.
What is Scientific Remote Viewing?
Scientific Remote Viewing, also known as SRV, is a process of being able to view something or someone at a distant location and can be used to view the target of the viewing session at any point in time.
The idea is to obtain information without using any of the five senses. Instead, SRV works to override the conscious mind to get to soul-level communication.
The viewer is given two random four-digit numbers. Although these numbers would have no meaning to the viewer’s conscious mind, the viewers’ subspace mind recognizes what the numbers signify.
O̳r̳i̳g̳i̳n̳a̳l̳ly developed by the CIA and U. S. military, this particular remote viewing process was developed by Dr. Courtney Brown.
Dr. Courtney Brown is a scientist and director of The Farsight Institute which is an organization dedicated to the development of remote viewing as a scientific way of collecting information.
One of the foremost and most respected viewers in the world, Dr. Courtney Brown has been able to remote view different races of e̳x̳t̳r̳a̳t̳e̳r̳r̳e̳s̳t̳r̳i̳a̳l̳s and claims some of them are on Earth now.
E̳x̳t̳r̳a̳t̳e̳r̳r̳e̳s̳t̳r̳i̳a̳l̳s̳ on Earth
When remote viewing e̳x̳t̳r̳a̳t̳e̳r̳r̳e̳s̳t̳r̳i̳a̳l̳s, both Dr. Brown and many other viewers at the Farsight Institute have collected the same data. Although some of the data might seem difficult to believe, much of the information is similar to information obtained by many researchers in the field of U̳F̳O̳ investigations.
The best known a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ life forms are those referred to as the Greys. Due to abuse to their environment, they destroyed their own planet. They had to move underground and began genetically altering themselves in order to adapt to their new surroundings.
It’s said that they altered their minds so that they could avoid emotions and it’s said that they altered their bodies to be smaller.
One of the drawbacks from this is that they could no longer produce their own offspring. They came to Earth to work with human biology in an effort to create a hybrid race which in time will allow them to reproduce on their own and feel emotions again.
Life on Mars and Martians on Earth
According to information received through SRV, there was once life on Mars. Due to a comet or asteroid, the Martian c̳i̳v̳i̳l̳i̳z̳a̳t̳i̳o̳n̳ was mostly destroyed.
While it’s said that some of the survivors moved underground, others were brought to Earth and supposedly live in an underground facility under a mountain in Santa Fe Baldy, New Mexico.
Who are the R̳e̳p̳t̳i̳l̳i̳a̳n̳s and Why are They Here?
Apparently the Martians aren’t the only ones with a secret underground base. Allegedly, another race of a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳s known as the R̳e̳p̳t̳i̳l̳i̳a̳n̳s have at least one base on Earth as well.
Both R̳e̳p̳t̳i̳l̳i̳a̳n̳s and hybrid R̳e̳p̳t̳i̳l̳i̳a̳n̳s have been viewed, along with humans. The apparent reason the R̳e̳p̳t̳i̳l̳i̳a̳n̳s came to Earth was to form a hybrid species between Man and R̳e̳p̳t̳i̳l̳i̳a̳n̳s.
Remote viewing was originally developed to be used as a type of psychic spying for the military. Although the above information regarding a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ life may seem difficult to believe, especially since it isn’t verifiable, numerous remote viewing sessions have had verifiable results, indicating that the process does work.
If military bases and weapons can accurately be remote viewed, then the possibility of remote viewing a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳s should be considered, especially if viewed by Dr. Courtney Brown who has an outstanding reputation in his field.

Alien Abductee Travis Walton And His Terrifying Experience
Alien Abductee Travis Walton And His Terrifying Experience
Perhaps one of the most famous alien abduction stories is that of Travis Walton. He claims he has had an alien encounter on November 5th, 1975. He was 22 at the time.
He was working with a logging crew of seven men at the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, Arizona. The crew were heading home after work in their pickup truck when they saw strange bright lights coming through the trees.
As their truck rolled slowly along the road, they stopped when they reached a portion of trees where the light was so bright it looked like the sunset, but the sun had set a half an hour before.
The men suddenly became aware that what they were witnessing was a UFO. The driver rolled to a stop on the side of the road, along the edge of the trees for a better look.
He shut off the engine as the mesmerized men observed a golden-colored object hovering twenty feet above the ground through the trees. Walton was suddenly seized with an overwhelming desire to see the spacecraft up close before it flew away, so he got out of the truck and blazingly walked up to it.
The ground was vibrating under his feet. He stood within feet of the craft, basking in its glow.
Looking up at the golden disc, Travis stood in awe of it and wondered what mysteries it held. As his mind expanded on the possibilities, the craft began to move oddly and erratically, his friends screamed at Walton to get away from it.
Travis started to move away from the craft when suddenly he felt a tremendous electrifying shock hit him and pass throughout his body. The energy lifted his body above the ground and then hurled him ten feet through the air. When his body hit the ground he felt numb all over.
What The Others Witnessed
What Walton’s friends witnessed was a blast of blinding greenish colored light coming from the aircraft that suddenly hit and lifted his body in the air. His back was arched, his legs and arms outstretched.
He was thrown through the air like a rag doll and landed on the ground in a lifeless heap. His friends thought he was dead because he was not moving. In fear, the crew left Travis behind and went for help.
The men went to the sheriff and told them what happened. The sheriff believed them and sent out a search party after Travis later that night but Walton was gone. His disappearance made news. Search dogs, airplanes, and trackers could not locate the logger. After four days they gave up.
A Terrifying Experience
When Walton woke up, he was on a flat surface on his back. At first he thought he was in a hospital, but when his eyes began to adjust to his surroundings, he realized he was in the alien aircraft.
Three small figures in orange-colored surgical coats stood over him. The strange entities were studying him closely. He said they were about five feet tall with very pale and hairless skin, no fingernails, and had small human-like features, but their eyes and heads seemed oddly large.
Terrified, Travis struck out at one of the aliens with his arm, although it was ineffectual in his weakened state. He then managed to get off of the examining table and moved away from the prying eyes and had nowhere to go.
He was backed up against the wall of the craft ready to defend himself as the creatures moved in on him. While Walton screamed at the aliens and tried to defend himself, they never spoke.
Walton claims the aliens suddenly left the room after his outburst and he wondered through the spacecraft looking for an escape. Eventually, he met up with a tall looking human in a blue space-like suit with a clear helmet.
The stranger never spoke, but took him to another place where two more of these human-looking people were waiting. The other humans never spoke but carefully escorted Travis to an examining table.
He felt powerless as they gently pushed him back on the table and placed a mask over his face. He immediately fell unconscious. When he woke up again, he was laying on the side of a road near Heber, Arizona over thirty miles away from the abduction sight. The craft was hovering over him, then suddenly shot out of sight.
He was gone for five days and was in shock. The story made headlines, and soon a movie about his experience was made (Fire in the Sky).
Still, there were skeptics who wanted to know the truth. Next, Walton was polygraphed by expert, John J. McCarthy, who claims that Walton failed the exam, and felt that Travis had perpetrated a hoax. But McCathy’s outdated methods were called into question.
Travis later took two more polygraphs and passed them. Still, the old polygraph seemed to overshadow him, leading some to believe that he was lying about his ordeal. Walton went on to write the book, “The Walton Experience” which was adapted into the film, “Fire in the Sky.” He has been a guest on Larry King Live and also a guest of several UFO conventions.
By Definition UFOs Are Real, But If They Are Not Aliens, What Might They Be?
By Definition UFOs Are Real, But If They Are Not Aliens, What Might They Be?
When people say that “they don’t believe in UFOs” it is testament to the fact that in most people’s minds, UFOs mean aliens. However, by definition, UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) are very real – there are thousands of sightings every year. The fact we don’t know what the vast majority of these sightings are, does not mean they do not happen.
So if they are not aliens, what are they?
Several other theories exist as to what they might be?
Perhaps the most “accepted” of these would be that they are the results of top secret government aircraft tests. We know this happens, and to a certain degree at least, most of us accept the need to test such machines away from “prying eyes” – that being said, some of the technology that is on display during some of the sightings are so far away from anything we know we are capable of that even if it were aircraft tests – the question of where that technology came from in the first place raises it’s head.
If aliens are not responsible for UFOs - what else could these strange types of sightings be?
Theories that UFO and alien sightings are in fact evidence of time-travellers are relatively common in the UFO fields, particularly when dealing with abduction cases.
Would this explain the cases where the “captors” were very “human-looking” and some have reported a “human presence” observing what is happening? Although many speak of being "chipped” so that they can be found again (and many people have indeed had unknown items removed from their bodies) – if these “aliens” were in fact time-travellers, that would explain how they know so much about the people they are visiting and their whereabouts in the first place, and maybe even time-travellers would need to “chip” people.
The airship sightings of the late 1890s (which you can read about here) are just one of the many strange sightings throughout history where the possibility of their being time-travellers was considered.
Even the general description of the “grey alien” that many people report seeing has been theorised by some as how human beings may look far into the future – the bigger head for example has been “explained” as having to house a larger brain that will be more engaged than it is now, and a slender, less muscle-bound body as most manual work will be done by machine as opposed to people. Even the larger black eyes have been attributed to a change in the atmosphere in the future (given all the theories of global warming and such) – perhaps humans will be forced to live underground or in artificial enclosures?
Could UFO sightings have more to do with human time-travel than out of this world life?
And what if their reasons, assuming they were human time-travellers for a moment, were not at all sinister? What if they have indeed altered the course of history by observing from the future? What, for example, if the second world war had not ended how we “know” it ended until “they” came from the future to ensure so? A wild theory no doubt, but the point being, whether for sinister or beneficial means, if the possibility to travel back in time existed, it would be utilised rightly or wrongly – of that there is no doubt. For a little further reading on this click here.
Check out the short video below about how humans may look in the future and you can do a little further reading here.
What if the UFO sightings were exactly that – not real in that they can be touched, but simply something real that can be viewed for just a brief amount of time.
There are many sightings of so-called “phantom” buildings, ships, trains and essentially anything else that simply appeared and then disappeared in front of people’s eyes. Could the same be true of the UFO sightings. Could it be that the UFOs are simply a “phantom” aircraft from another time – past or future – that we have simply no reference for, and that this “rip” in space time is some phenomenon that we don’t understand but provides us a brief look into the past or the future. The famous Sky Battle of Basel in 1655 is just one documented sighting that could quite possibly have been a vision from the future as opposed to a sighting of an “alien” spacecraft.
However, while this theory would provide a possible explanation for UFO sightings, it would not account for the cases of inter-action and abduction. So, if not a “ghost” craft, then could it be possible that what we are viewing is a sneak look at an alternative dimension, and in some cases, living beings actually crossing to and from their dimension to ours.
One of the things perceived to make this possible, and another theory in itself to explain the UFO phenomenon, is the stress and movement of tectonic plates – which it is theorized releases enormous amounts of energy. Perhaps this energy release is so great that it opens portals or windows to another time or dimension, maybe even to other planets? It has been noted that strange phenomenon occurs around these plates – including much UFO activity and strangely enough Big-foot sightings.
Might intelligent life from other worlds come in the form of self assembling and self replicating machines?
One of the wilder theories is that the UFOs ae not objects at all, but living things. Kenneth Arnold, widely regarded as the first person to have reported seeing a UFO (something we will look at a later date) made statements that he felt what he had seen may have been alive. We know for example that life can exist outside of the planet in space, even if it is just bacteria, and we know that life has at some point found it’s way to us on meteorites – for some further reading click here about how “life” was found outside the International Space Station very recently.
And, as some scientists have stated, perhaps these living beings are artificial intelligent life? Many have theorised that, in the same way that we have sent unmanned probes to Mars, other alien races may have sent the same thing to Earth to essentially gather information – you can read about William Robert Loosley here, who claimed to have witnessed such a machine on Earth back in 1871.
Real or hoax? One of the many "genuine" UFOs caught on film?
Perhaps these machines are so advanced we have yet to fully understand them – some have even suggested self-assembling and self-replicating machines. Click here for more in depth reading on this particular theory.
Whatever they are, barring some kind of absolute disclosure of information, it will keep people wondering and theorizing for many years to come.
Check out the videos below – a look at the UFO time travel theory, some of the most credible UFO sightings and a little bit further viewing on time travel itself.

note peter2011
I try to keep an open mind about most things.
When we look at the possibility of these super advanced objects being ours or a foreign government, we have to think about the following:
1. If these objects are ours or a foreign powers' and are supposed to be 'secret', why would they fly where people can see them?
2. These objects have been around for decades if not centuries. Does it make sense that any human government would have developed such technology so long ago and it is still secret?
3. If such technology was created so long ago, why hasn't some of this tech spilled out into civilian industry as it has with other advanced tech.
Our limited way of thinking keeps us from seeing that there may be other possibilities besides, the U.S., Foreign governments, future humans, Extraterrestrials, Extra-dimensionals
Recent analysis of ancient DNA found in soil samples collected in the Canadian permafrost has revealed that mammoths and Yukon wild horses survived thousands of years longer than previously thought.
The samples, which were found specifically in the Klondike region of Yukon, were analyzed and presented in a 30,000-year DNA record by researchers from McMaster University, the University of Alberta, the American Museum of Natural History, and the Yukon government.
The samples provided the researchers with valuable information regarding plants and animals from the Pleistocene-Holocene transition period that occurred between 14,000 and 11,000 years ago. This was also the time when numerous animals were believed to have gone extinct such as mammoths, sabre-toothed cats, and mastodons.
They found that the woolly mammoths and North American horses were already declining drastically in numbers before that time period when the climate became unstable. However, they did not completely go extinct until around 5,000 years ago – thousands of years later than previously estimated. Previous research conducted by scientists at McMaster University claimed that woolly mammoths and North American horses were alive in the Yukon around 9,700 years ago.
Hendrik Poinar, who is an evolutionary geneticist and director of the McMaster Ancient DNA Centre, discussed their research in further details, “The rich data provides a unique window into the population dynamics of megafuana and nuances the discussion around their extinction through more subtle reconstructions of past ecosystems.” Their study was published in the journal Nature Communications.
Researchers used DNA capture-enrichment technology developed at McMaster to isolate and rebuild the fluctuating animal and plant communities during the Pleistocene-Holocene transition.

Ross MacPhee from the American Museum of Natural History weighed in by noting, “Although mammoths are gone forever, horses are not,” adding, “The horse that lived in the Yukon 5,000 years ago is directly related to the horse species we have today, Equus caballus. Biologically, this makes the horse a native North American mammal, and it should be treated as such.”
He is correct in regards to woolly mammoths currently being extinct; however, a new company is planning on changing that. A few months ago, it was reported that a new de-extinction company named Colossal is planning on resurrecting the woolly mammoth within the next six years.
As for how they plan on doing that, they want to change the genome in Asian elephants to create a modern mammoth. More specifically, they would need to add mammoth genes to the DNA of Asian elephants so that the modified creature would have curved tusks, subcutaneous fat stores, smaller ears, and a thick shaggy coat that would help them to live in the Arctic Circle. Realistically, if they succeed, it would be an Asian elephant/woolly mammoth hybrid. We’ll have to wait and see how that experiment turns out…

Enorme hoeveelheid gegevens in permafrost

THEY SAY IT'LL BE ABLE TO SPOT A *BASEBALL* IN ORBIT.
US MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY
Seek and Destroy
The US Space Force installed a high tech new radar system this week that it says will be able to detect objects the size of baseballs in orbit.
The massive monitoring system, dubbed the Long Range Discrimination Radar (LRDR), is located at the Clear Space Force Base near Fairbanks, Alaska, according to The Anchorage Daily News. The radar is slated to support the US missile defense system and provide reconnaissance data in space.
“Today marks an extremely important milestone for US homeland defense,” US Missile Defense Agency (MDA) director Jon Hill said in a press release yesterday. “The LRDR has finished construction, and we can now begin the testing phase that will lead to the full operational use of this vital system.”
The Long Range Discrimination Radar (LRDR) at Clear Space Force Station, Alaska, is a multi-mission, multi-face radar designed to provide search, track and discrimination capability in support of homeland defense.

Missile Demand
The testing phase of the LRDR system will now take at least another year, with its operational date slated for 2023.
Once operational, the radar will give the US Space Force the ability to “simultaneously search, track, and discriminate multiple small, baseball-sized objects” in orbit, according to a press release from the MDA.
“LRDR will allow Northern Command to better defend the United States from ballistic and hypersonic missile threats,” Hill added in the release.
Arms Race Escalation
The installation of the LRDR marks a significant milestone for both the US Space Force and the burgeoning geopolitical arms race.
Now, with the US Space Force ramping up its own detection efforts, it’s just more evidence that underscores a clear and haunting fact: the world’s biggest powers seem to be gearing up for a conflict the likes of which has not been seen since the Cold War. Let’s just hope it stays just as bloodless.
A team of researchers in China has built and tested a prototype hypersonic flight engine that is allegedly based on a design that was scrapped by NASA over 20 years ago, according to a report from the South China Morning Post (SCMP).
The prototype itself might not lead to a production version of hypersonic aircraft. Still, in a paper in the Journal of Propulsion Technology, the team behind the machine said "understanding its work mechanism can provide important guidance to hypersonic plane and engine development."
The prototype based on Tang’s blueprint was tested at a wind tunnel in Nanjing, Jiangsu.

NASA's scrapped X-47C program is revived
The original design was proposed by Ming Han Tang, a former chief engineer of NASA's hypersonic program in the late 1990s. Tang's Two-Stage Vehicle (TSV) X-plane design was at the center of the Boeing Manta X-47C program, as per the SCMP report. However, before the program could verify the viability of the design, it was terminated by the U.S. government due to its high costs as well as a series of technical issues.
Unlike the majority of hypersonic aircraft proposals, which feature an engine on the underside, the TSV X-plane design by Tang has two separate engines on each side. At lower speeds, the engines work as normal turbine jet engines. With no moving parts, the configuration then allows the aircraft to quickly switch to high-speed mode to accelerate to more than five times the speed of sound.
Now, Professor Tan Huijun and colleagues at the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in Jiangsu, China, have constructed a prototype based on Tang's original specifications. They were able to do this due to the fact that the blueprints for the Boeing Manta X-47C program were declassified in 2011. Huijun and his team tested the prototype in a wind tunnel that allows testing in conditions resembling flight at Mach 4 to Mach 8. The tests revealed that Tang's proposed engine design works in these conditions, meaning they should be able to conduct further tests and build new iterations of their prototype.
The race to go hypersonic
The U.S. and China are in the midst of a space and aviation race. According to the SCMP article, a number of high-profile Chinese scientists quit NASA and other government engineering firms in the U.S. in the late 90s due to strained relations between the two countries. This reportedly coincided with the start of China's hypersonic weapons program in the early 2000s.
China's space agency recently announced that it is building a fission reactor for the Moon that will reportedly be 100 times more powerful than one in development by NASA. China's government also announced earlier this year that it will collaborate with Russia on a lunar space station, which will directly rival NASA's lunar Gateway program. In October, China also launched a hypersonic missile with "an advanced space capability" that took U.S. officials by surprise.
In July, meanwhile, the U.S. Air Force granted a hypersonic aircraft startup called Hermeus a $60 million contract to develop a prototype aircraft within three years that could travel at speeds of Mach 5 using only one engine. The race to go hypersonic is in full force.
Editor's note: We have reached out to NASA to confirm some of the details in the original report. We will update the article if and when we hear back.
NASA SCIENTISTS ARE GONNA BAWL THEIR EYES WHEN THE TINY MARS CHOPPER DIES
NASA SCIENTISTS ARE GONNA BAWL THEIR EYES WHEN THE TINY MARS CHOPPER DIES
I'M NOT CRYING, YOU'RE CRYING!
NASA
NASA’s Mars itty bitty scouting helicopter has outlived its life expectancy seven times over — and when it does finally cross the cosmic rainbow bridge, things are probably gonna get emotional.
This heartwrenching insider scoop comes from Christopher Hamilton, an associate professor of planetary sciences at the University of Arizona who’s witnessed other tearjerker endings at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena.
Ingenuity, the four-pound helicopter that acts as a scout for the Perseverance Rover, was only supposed to last for 30 days when it was first took to the Martian skies more than seven months ago. As Hamilton told United Press International, Ingenuity’s surprisingly-long lifespan will make its final transmission, whenever it comes, that much more bittersweet.
“When the day comes that Ingenuity makes its final flight on Mars,” the cosmologist told UPI, “there will be a mixture of emotions — sadness that such an exceptional spacecraft has reached the end of its journey, but also triumph in that Ingenuity opened a new paradigm in Mars exploration.”
This little chopper that could is special for more reasons than its lifespan. It was also, as UPI noted, designed as an experiment into whether such a tiny and high-tech robot could survive Mars’ notoriously thin atmosphere at all. Seven-and-a-half months and 17 flights around Mars’ Jezero Center crater later, Ingenuity has demonstrated that ability in spades.
Much of Ingenuity’s worth lies in the fundamental things it can do that terrestrial rovers cannot, chief of which being that it can fly and take high-resolution photos while the Perseverance Rover can only move on the ground. In doing so, Ingenuity has shown the way for the Rover in ways JPL drivers on Earth could not.
What was planned as a “what-if” experiment turned into an important complement for Perseverance, an article in IEEE Spectrum magazine noted.
And what’s more, the researchers who have worked with Ingenuity have become very attached to the little rotorcraft on an emotional level.
“The whole team, we all love it!” Olivier Toupet, a Mars Rover driver at the JPL, told Spectrum. “We didn’t know we were going to love it.”
As the publication pointed out, Ingenuity’s timeline has been repeatedly extended, first from 30 days to a few months, and now indefinitely. That’s been “a big surprise,” Olivier said.
Extended missions are nothing new for the JPL, the rover driver noted, but the limits of Ingenuity’s design mean that it could last for months or years more — or die at any moment.
“Ingenuity’s achievements cannot be overstated, and it will be remembered as one of the great pioneering vessels of all time,” Hamilton told UPI. “One day, Ingenuity will make its last flight on the Red Planet, but it will not be the last aircraft to fly on Mars — it’s just the beginning.”
If that’s not enough to make astrophysicists cry, I don’t know what is.
Former US AIR FORCE Officer: “The United States Is Aware Of ALIEN BASES On The MOON
Former US AIR FORCE Officer: “The United States Is Aware Of ALIEN BASES On The MOON”
U̳F̳O̳ researchers have always argued that on the Moon and more precisely in the dark side, there could be some e̳x̳t̳r̳a̳t̳e̳r̳r̳e̳s̳t̳r̳i̳a̳l̳ bases. The theory suggests that if these a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳s from a distant planet, from another solar system, they could have many bases on the Moon and other planets in our solar system, from which they can make their regular visits to Earth. It is also true that these beings from other worlds could travel by exploiting the StarGates or Wormholes for long distances. They have had this technology for thousands of years already.
In support of this claim, Milton William Cooper, an American writer, broadcaster and former US AIR FORCE intelligence officer, stated under oath in 1989 that the US government was aware of a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ bases on the Moon. the exactness “outposts”) where spaceships are hosted that often visit the Earth.
“Beyond the Moon there are a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ bases” – declared Milton Cooper in a statement. “They have been seen by the Apollo astronauts. During the trip to the Moon these a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ bases were photographed, which were equipped with large machines used for work on the surface of the satellite (perhaps who knows for mining) and large spaceships “. Let’s not forget that the Apollo 15 Mission had photographed a large 3 km long spaceship near Delport Crater. Then subsequently the Apollo 20 mission flew over and photographed the whole area where the a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ ship was parked on the lunar soil.
Cooper has also written about other conspiracy theories, related to the United States government. But the surprise came in 2001, when Cooper was murdered by agents from the Sheriff’s Office (Apache County). There was a police raid on his home in Arizona over a tax evasion report. The official story says Cooper opened fire first. Is there perhaps a better proof? You know how these things go. If you know too much … you get killed. The truth hurts…
Pictures
Many conspiracy theorists claim that there are actual NASA photographs, which clearly show a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ bases on the far, far side of the Moon. “There is a complex of a lunar a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ base on the far side of the moon,” said Scott C. Waring, one of the most respected U̳F̳O̳logists. “This seems to be crazy, but it’s true and we have irrefutable evidence … especially directly from the military.”
In 1994, the US Navy sent a satellite called Clementine which was intended to photograph the moon for two months in a row. During this period, the satellite images sent to the space center were 1.8 million, but only 170,000 of those images were made available to the public. The rest were classified. Classified images of the craters of the moon? ” One of the most fascinating evidence of e̳x̳t̳r̳a̳t̳e̳r̳r̳e̳s̳t̳r̳i̳a̳l̳ bases on the far side of the moon comes from remote viewing by Ingo Swann (1933-2013). Swann, who was instrumental in creating the US government’s remote viewing program in 1970, was one of the most famous RVs in the world, but far more recognized than a few others. For example, in 1973, while performing a distant view of Jupiter, Swann had reported that the giant gas planet had rings. This fact was unknown to astronomers before, until it was confirmed by the Voyager 1 spacecraft in 1979.
But Swann was also known for a remote viewing session on the far side of the moon. Swann asked a man named Axelrod, who worked for the United States government, for some a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ targets.
“Axelrod together with Ingo Swann, agreed on a series of RV sessions in the coordinates of the Moon” – declares the writer Gary S. Bekkum, of the American Chronicle – “Swann visualized the Moon with his remote vision in the predetermined coordinates, under the guidance of Axelrod. In particular, a dozen different places were searched and soon realized that in some points there were a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ bases. Swann had found what appeared to be tracks with wheel tracks as large as those of tractors. In principle Swann was confused by what he was seeing, but he realized that he was witnessing the activity of building intelligent structures on the Moon. At the bottom of a crater he saw a dusty haze, illuminated by rows of artificial green lights mounted on large towers. Swann was surprised during the VR session when he realized that “someone” or “something” has appeared in one of the buildings of one of the bases on the Moon.
Swann knew that an interplanetary VR operation had been endorsed, due to the need to monitor underground structures and e̳x̳t̳r̳a̳t̳e̳r̳r̳e̳s̳t̳r̳i̳a̳l̳ activities in an unconventional way. Swann was on a mission to psychically spy on an a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ moon base, because these beings were very rude to the human military. When Ingo Swann “listened” in Remote, he sensed that he had been psychically discovered by two of the ET humanoid inhabitants of the moon base, also asking if he was in danger. ”
Are astronauts and scientists aware of e̳x̳t̳r̳a̳t̳e̳r̳r̳e̳s̳t̳r̳i̳a̳l̳ bases on the far side of the moon? As we have seen, there is only some evidence that a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ bases may be on the far side of the moon. Unfortunately, even this theory cannot be proved or proved, but we know that some American military and astronauts are witnesses to the fact that up there, on the Moon, there is someone watching us.
There’s a new article over at Mirador titled “Congress Tells Pentagon and Intelligence Community: UFOs are Serious Business!” The article, from Douglas Dean Johnson, and dated December 7, states: “With the unveiling today of legislative language already agreed on in negotiations between key lawmakers meeting privately, it is likely that Congress will soon send the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community a set of emphatic statutory commands regarding Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (or UFOs, in common parlance).” Well, the UFO subject has always been serious business. For example, in the 1950s, when the “Contactees” were at their height and hanging out with the “Space Brothers” (allegedly, at least…), the FBI opened near-voluminous files on the likes of George Adamski, George Van Tassel, George Hunt Williamson and way more. Many people in Ufology write-off the Contactees, but the fact is that they were of deep concern to the U.S. government for the best part of a decade. Adamski’s FBI file is more than 300-pages-long. So is the Van Tassel file. Of course, none of this really had anything to do with real aliens. Rather, the FBI was concerned by (A) the fact that many of the Contactees had communist leanings; (B) that the Contactees quickly developed huge followings; and (C) that for a while the FBI suspected some of the Contactees were possibly even working for Soviet spies in America.
(Nick Redfern)
“Giant Rock,” California where George Van Tassel hung out. So did the FBI, now and again.
The big irony in all of this is that while many well-known ufologists of that era, such as Leonard Stringfield, Gray Barker and Albert Bender had files opened on them, those latter files were barely in the figure of around thirty-to-forty pages. Stan Friedman’s file is pitiful, in terms of what it tells us (or, rather, what it doesn’t). So, for the FBI, the UFO/Contactee issue was one of deep concern for a long time. UFOs themselves, though, were not of particular interest to the FBI. If at all, even. Rather, it was the politics of the Contactees that had the FBI worried. Moving on, there’s the matter of the CIA’s Robertson Panel of the 1950s. Yet again, we see serious business, but for reasons that weren’t directly tied to the UFO enigma, itself, but that had everything to do with politics. The curious and fantastic UFO events of July 1952, over Washington, D.C., deeply troubled the CIA and the Air Force. And, for very intriguing and alternative reasons that had very little to do with literal alien invasions or visitations. On December 2, 1952 the CIA’s Assistant Director H. Marshall Chadwell noted in a classified report on UFO activity in American airspace: “Sightings of unexplained objects at great altitudes and traveling at high speeds in the vicinity of major U.S. defense installations are of such nature that they are not attributable to natural phenomena or known types of aerial vehicles.”
Believing that something really might be afoot in the skies of America, Chadwell prepared a list of saucer-themed recommendations for the National Security Council: “1. The Director of Central Intelligence shall formulate and carry out a program of intelligence and research activities as required to solve the problem of instant positive identification of unidentified flying objects. 2. Upon call of the Director of Central Intelligence, Government departments and agencies shall provide assistance in this program of intelligence and research to the extent of their capacity provided, however, that the DCI shall avoid duplication of activities presently directed toward the solution of this problem. 3. This effort shall be coordinated with the military services and the Research and Development Board of the Department of Defense, with the Psychological Board and other Governmental agencies as appropriate. 4. The Director of Central Intelligence shall disseminate information concerning the program of intelligence and research activities in this field to the various departments and agencies which have authorized interest therein.”
The overall conclusion of the Robertson Panel was that while UFOs, per se, did not appear to have a bearing on national security or the defense of the United States, the way in which the subject could be used by unfriendly forces to manipulate the public mindset and disrupt the U.S. military infrastructure did have a bearing – and a major one, too – on matters of a security nature. According to the panel’s members: “Although evidence of any direct threat from these sightings was wholly lacking, related dangers might well exist resulting from: A. Misidentification of actual enemy artifacts by defense personnel. B. Overloading of emergency reporting channels with ‘false’ information. C. Subjectivity of public to mass hysteria and greater vulnerability to possible enemy psychological warfare.” There was also a recommendation that a number of the public UFO investigative groups that existed in the United States at the time, such as the Civilian Flying Saucer Investigators (CFSI) and the Aerial Phenomena Research Organization (APRO), should be “watched” carefully due to “the apparent irresponsibility and the possible use of such groups for subversive purposes” Now, moving onto later days:
(Nick Redfern)
In 1999, Gerald K. Haines – in his position as the historian of the National Reconnaissance Office – wrote a paper titled “CIA’s Role in the Study of UFOs, 1947-90.” It’s now in the public domain, as a result of FOIA rules. Haines’ paper largely detailed the history of how, and why, the CIA became interested and involved in the phenomenon of UFOs. Although Haines covered a period of more than forty years, I’ll bring your attention to one particular section of his paper, which is focused on the 1970s-1980s. Haines wrote: “During the late 1970s and 1980s, the Agency continued its low-key interest in UFOs and UFO sightings. While most scientists now dismissed flying saucers reports as a quaint part of the 1950s and 1960s, some in the Agency and in the Intelligence Community shifted their interest to studying parapsychology and psychic phenomena associated with UFO sightings. CIA officials also looked at the UFO problem to determine what UFO sightings might tell them about Soviet progress in rockets and missiles and reviewed its counterintelligence aspects.”
The Soviets, then, were masking their secret, chemical- rocket tests by spreading false and fantastic tales of aliens and UFOs. Haines also noted something that is absolutely key to the story this article tells: “Agency analysts from the Life Science Division of OSI and OSWR officially devoted a small amount of their time to issues relating to UFOs. These included counterintelligence concerns that the Soviets and the KGB were using U.S. citizens and UFO groups to obtain information on sensitive U.S. weapons development programs (such as the Stealth aircraft),the vulnerability of the U.S. air-defense network to penetration by foreign missiles mimicking UFOs, and evidence of Soviet advanced technology associated with UFO sightings [italics mine].” So, there is nothing new, at all, about government agencies taking a serious approach to the UFO phenomenon. As we’ve seen in this article, the U.S. government’s UFO interest was not always for the reasons that so many ufologists wish for (namely, that the government has proof of alien life and, one day, will show it to us).
As the issues surrounding the U.S. government and UFOs continue to grow, we should keep in mind there are likely more than a few alternative reasons why the government, right now, is watching the UFO phenomenon. And, will continue to do so. Will all of that interest be focused on alien life? I say “No.” Politics, Russian spies, counterintelligence, disinformation, and those “subversive purposes” I mentioned above will be the key issues. The UFO subject is not just about UFOs, as strange as that might sound.
August 2000 in the skies above Brighton, a team of Sussex police offers came across something which looked very strange. A bright light was picked up on thermal imaging flying across the sky. It clearly wasn’t an aircraft as the shape didn’t match and the lights on the object were something they’d never seen before. But what could it be? Was it a UFO? ‘Paranormal Files’ is a series that examines some of the most controversial cases recorded in the UK. A SpaceX flight surgeon and an elite track cyclist are among the new class of 10 astronaut candidates, NASA announced on Monday.
Why it matters:"These NASA astronauts will plan, train and fly missions to the International Space Station and to the Moon under Artemis, and eventually onto Mars," Vanessa Wyche, the director of NASA's Johnson Space Center, said during an event announcing the new astronaut candidates.
How it works: The 10 candidates will move to Houston, Texas, the home of Johnson Space Center, to begin two years of training starting in January 2022.
Once that training ends, the 10 rookies will become official astronauts.
What's happening:More than 12,000 applications were submitted for this round of astronaut selection. Here are the lucky 10, with bio information via NASA:
Nichole Ayers is a major in the U.S. Air Force who is one of a handful of women flying the F-22.
Marcos Berríos is a major in the U.S. Air Force and a test pilot with 1,300 hours of flight time in about 21 aircraft.
Christina Birch taught bioengineering at the University of California, Riverside, and is a U.S. National Team track cyclist.
Deniz Burnhamis a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy and works in the energy industry managing drilling projects in Alaska, Canada and Texas, among other places.
Luke Delaneyworked as a pilot at NASA's Langley Research center and has logged more than 3,700 hours of flight time on various aircraft.
Andre Douglas has worked with NASA during his time at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab, focusing on various space exploration projects for the space agency.
Jack Hathaway is a commander in the U.S. Navy with 2,500 hours of flight time in about 30 aircraft and 39 combat missions.
Anil Menonwas a SpaceX flight surgeon and is an emergency medicine physician.
Christopher Williams was a medical physicist in the radiation oncology department at Brigham and Women's Hospital and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, with research focusing on aiding cancer treatments with imaging.
Jessica Wittner is a lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy and serves as a test pilot and aviator.
1 fun thing:One of the astronaut hopefuls took the opportunity during the announcement to pitch a different kind of mission to Mars:
"I think it would be great if NASA could scale up the Ingenuity helicopter that's currently flying on Mars to maybe, you know, fit two people," Berríos said. "I would love to take it for a spin for science."
It can reach a top speed of 63mph and can run for 20 minutes.
You can purchase the car anywhere in the world.
If you've always dreamed of flying to work, that dream may very soon be a reality.
If you have $92,000, that is.
Companies are always looking for new market niches, and flying cars are quickly becoming the next big thing.
There are plans for cars that both fly and work on the road and for flying taxis that will aim to form the basis of future travel.
Jetson is one of these companies.
The company aims "to make the skies available for everyone with our safe personal electric aerial vehicle," according to its website.
The company's first flying car, Jetson One, is already on sale.
Jetson One has a maximum speed of 63mph thanks to its eight electric motors which generate 102 horsepower. The car can run continually for 20 minutes.
The car can take off vertically and remain airborne, although the company doesn't specify the maximum altitude that the vehicle can reach.
The car can be controlled with a three-axis joystick, and there's a throttle lever to adjust power.
No expense has been spared when it comes to safety. The chassis of the vehicle was inspired by the same technology used in race cars. The company also said that it will be able to fly even if it loses an engine. There is an emergency function that takes control of the aircraft, a LiDAR sensor capable of tracking the terrain to avoid obstacles, and a parachute with a rapid deployment system.
It's already sold out for 2022 but Jetson has more deliveries scheduled for 2023. If you're interested, you can reserve one online with a deposit of $22,000.
That isn't all. It's shipped as a partially assembled kit and so requires you to complete it at home.

Astronaut Quotes About UFO’s And Extraterrestrial Life
Astronaut Quotes About UFO’s And Extraterrestrial Life
The question of whether or not life exists on other planets has fascinated the human race for centuries. Images of flying saucers and “little green men” are pervasive in our pop culture, and accounts of various a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ encounters continue to attract widespread interest as well as skepticism.
Ever since the infamous Roswell incident took place in 1947, public interest in U̳F̳O̳s has skyrocketed, and the government has repeatedly engaged in a culture of secrecy, double-talk and disinformation regarding what they really know about e̳x̳t̳r̳a̳t̳e̳r̳r̳e̳s̳t̳r̳i̳a̳l̳ life.
While speculation and rumors continue to abound, one thing is for certain: There are thousands of accounts of people who claim to have seen U̳F̳O̳s and/or a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳s, as well as harrowing accounts of a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ abductions.
Many of these accounts have been offered by people who could gain no financial or social advantage from sharing their stories. Even if what they’re claiming to have seen or experienced didn’t really happen, something is definitely going on, and it undoubtedly merits our attention.
One of the most stubborn obstacles to the progress of an honest conversation regarding U̳F̳O̳s is this issue of the credibility of witnesses. Simply put, many witnesses of e̳x̳t̳r̳a̳t̳e̳r̳r̳e̳s̳t̳r̳i̳a̳l̳ activity have been discredited due to a lack of status or influence.
Whenever someone would finally muster up the courage to come forward and share what he/she experienced, they would inevitably be ridiculed and dismissed as a fraud, a publicity hound, or even mentally unstable. Some have even been victims of vicious character assassination attacks by government officials and media personnel.
For this reason, it is all the more significant when persons of influence come forward and reveal that they have also encountered e̳x̳t̳r̳a̳t̳e̳r̳r̳e̳s̳t̳r̳i̳a̳l̳ activity. With the development of government space programs and technological progress in the field of aviation, several highly esteemed pilots, astronauts and cosmonauts have gone on record to confirm that they have personally witness unidentified flying objects that are able to maneuver in ways that defy all known laws of physics.
Many of them have had long, successful careers, and would not have any sane reason to want to destroy their own credibility. The following collection of quotes from these individuals will no doubt leave you with this thought-provoking question: If things are not really as these men are describing, what exactly is happening?
Astronaut Neil Armstrong
“We have no proof, But if we extrapolate, based on the best information we have available to us, we have to come to the conclusion that … other life probably exists out there and perhaps in many places.”– Neil Armstrong, Oct 21, 1999.
Astronaut Story Musgrave
“Statistically it’s a certainty there are hugely advanced c̳i̳v̳i̳l̳i̳z̳a̳t̳i̳o̳n̳s̳, intelligences, life forms out there. I believe they’re so advanced they’re even doing interstellar travel. I believe it’s possible they even came here. It’s logical to presume the universe must have other life in it and by virtue of association that we could be visited at some point.” Astronaut Storey Musgrave.
Astronaut Gordon Cooper
“The evidence points to the fact that Roswell was a real incident and that indeed an a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ craft did crash and that material was recovered from that crash site, says Mitchell, who became the sixth man on the moon in the Apollo 14 mission. Mitchell doesn’t say he’s seen a U̳F̳O̳.
But he says he’s met with high-ranking military officers who admitted involvement with a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ technology and hardware. Cooper told a U.N. committee recently, Every day in the U.S.A. , our radar instruments capture objects of form and composition unknown to us. Cooper speculates that public skepticism toward U̳F̳O̳s will shift dramatically.” — Astronaut Gordon Cooper and Ed Mitchell in an interview.
Cosmonaut Victor Afanasyev
“It followed us during half of our orbit. We observed it on the light side, and when we entered the shadow side, it disappeared completely. It was an engineered structure, made from some type of metal, approximately 40 meters long with inner hulls.
The object was narrow here and wider here, and inside there were openings. Some places had projections like small wings. The object stayed very close to us. We photographed it, and our photos showed it to be 23 to 28 meters away.
Many cosmonauts have seen phenomena which are far beyond the experiences of earthmen. For ten years I never spoke on such things. The encounter you asked me about happened on May 5, 1981, at about 6 PM, during the Saljut Mission. At that time we were over the area of South Africa, moving towards the area of the Indian ocean.
I just made some gymnastic exercises, when I saw in front of me, through a porthole, an object which I could not explain. It is impossible to determine distances in Space. A small object can appear large and far away and the other way around. Sometimes a cloud of dust appears like a large object.
Anyway, I saw this object and then something happened I could not explain, something impossible according to the laws of Physics. The object had this shape, elliptical, and flew with us. From a frontal view it looked like it would rotate in flight direction.
It only flew straight, but then a kind of explosion happened, very beautiful to watch, of golden light. This was the first part. Then, one or two seconds later, a second explosion followed somewhere else and two spheres appeared, golden and very beautiful.
After this explosion I just saw white smoke, then a cloud-like sphere. Before we entered the darkness, we flew through the terminator, the twilight-zone between day and night. We flew eastwards, and when we entered the darkness of the Earth shadow, I could not see them any longer. The two spheres never returned.” Cosmonaut Victor Afanasyev commenting on a U̳F̳O̳ sighting that occurred while en route to the Solyut 6 space station in April of 1979.
Astronaut Scott Carpenter
“At no time, when the astronauts were in space were they alone: there was a constant surveillance by U̳F̳O̳s.” Astronaut Scott Carpenter photographed a U̳F̳O̳ while in orbit on May 24, 1962. NASA still has not released the photograph.
Astronaut Eugene Cernan
“I’ve been asked about U̳F̳O̳s and I’ve said publicly I thought they were somebody else, some other civilization.” Commander Eugene Cernan, Commanded the Apollo 17 Mission-The quote is from a 1973 article in the Los Angeles Times.
Astronaut Gordon Cooper
“I believe that these e̳x̳t̳r̳a̳t̳e̳r̳r̳e̳s̳t̳r̳i̳a̳l̳ vehicles and their crews are visiting this planet from other planets which obviously are a little more technically advanced than we are here on Earth.
I feel that we need to have a top level, coordinated program to scientifically collect and analyze data from all over the earth concerning any type of encounter, and to determine how best to interface with these visitors in a friendly fashion…. For many years I have lived with a secret, in a secrecy imposed on all specialists and astronauts.
I can now reveal that every day, in the USA, our radar instruments capture objects of form and composition unknown to us. And there are thousands of witness reports and a quantity of documents to prove this, but nobody wants to make them public.-Colonel L. Gordon Cooper, Mercury and Gemini Astronaut, in an address to the UN in 1985 after announcing that he had seen and chased U̳F̳O̳s over Germany in the 1950s.
Cooper also reported a greenish object, which passed by his capsule going east to west (opposite normal man-made orbits) while in orbit in May of 1963. The object was tracked by ground-based equipment in Perth, Australia. The press was told it could not question Col. Cooper on this aspect of the mission. I know other astronauts share my feelings…. And we know the government is sitting on hard evidence of U̳F̳O̳s.” Col. Gordon Cooper, January 14, 1997.
“The U.S. Government hasn’t maintained secrecy regarding U̳F̳O̳s It’s been leaking out all over the place. But the way it’s been handled is by denial, by denying the truth of the documents that have leaked. By attempting to show them as fraudulent, as bogus of some sort.
There has been a very large disinformation and misinformation effort around this whole area. And one must wonder, how better to hide something out in the open than just to say, ‘It isn’t there. You’re deceiving yourself if you think this is true.’ And yet, there it is right in front of you.
So it’s a disinformation effort that’s concerning here, not the fact that they have kept the secret. They haven’t kept it. It’s been getting out into the public for fifty years or more.” Dr. Edgar Mitchell, from the same interview.
Astronaut Brian O’Leary
“We have contact with a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ cultures.” Astronaut Dr. Brian O’leary
Astronaut James McDivitt
“At one stage we even thought it might be necessary to take evasive action to avoid a collision.; Astronaut James McDivitt commenting on an orbital encounter he and Ed White had with a weird object with arm-like extensions which approached their capsule. Later in the flight they saw two similar objects over the Caribbean.” Astronaut James McDivitt
Astronaut Donald Slayton
“I was testing a P-51 fighter in Minneapolis when I spotted this object. I was at about 10,000 feet on a nice, bright, sunny afternoon. I thought the object was a kite, then I realized that no kite is gonna fly that high. As I got closer it looked like a weather balloon, gray and about three feet in diameter.
But as soon as I got behind the darn thing it didn’t look like a balloon anymore. It looked like a saucer, a disk. About the same time, I realized that it was suddenly going way from me-and there I was, running at about 300 miles per hour.
I tracked it for a little way, and then all of a sudden the xxxx thing just took off. It pulled about a 45-degree climbing turn and accelerated and just flat disappeared.” Donald Slayton, Mercury astronaut, in a 1951 interview.”

Interstellar exploration might not be lightyears away, at least not in the figurative sense. That's because international research project Breakthrough Starshot just provided an update on its plans to send a probe to Alpha Centauri, our closest neighboring star system.
Before getting there, it will have to develop and test a new type of spacecraft propulsion system that utilizes a lightsail and a laser beam array to reach the immense speeds required for interstellar travel within our lifetimes, a press statement from the Australian National University (ANU) explains.
A 40 trillion kilometer journey through space
Breakthrough Starshot's ultra-lightweight spacecraft will have to travel four light-years to reach Alpha Centauri. To put it another way, our nearest neighboring star system is a mind-shattering 40,208,000,000,000 (40 trillion) km away from Earth.
As a point of reference, our fastest and most reliable technology today for long-range space travel is the ion thruster, which is powering NASA's DART mission to a nearby asteroid at speeds of 15,000 mph (24,000 km/h). However, according to NASA, with the ion thruster, it would take 18,000 years, or approximately 2,700 human generations, to get to Alpha Centauri.
Impressively, the Breakthrough Starshot team believes its spacecraft, with the help of lasers located on Earth, will be able to reach unprecedented speeds, allowing it to travel the distance to Alpha Centauri in only 20 years. If it does reach its destination, the probe spacecraft will then send back the first-ever images taken from another solar system, allowing a never-before-seen window to distant planets that may or may not resemble Earth.
In a new research paper, the ANU team outlined their concept, which is designed to make travel to Alpha Centauri a feasible proposition. The team is developing a tiny probe with a lightsail that will be powered by a powerful laser array from Earth. That laser array will concentrate millions of beams on the sail throughout its interstellar journey, allowing it to reach incredible speeds.
"To cover the vast distances between Alpha Centauri and our own solar system, we must think outside the box and forge a new way for interstellar space travel," Dr. Bandutunga, from the Applied Metrology Laboratories at the ANU Centre for Gravitational Astrophysics, explains.
"Once on its way, the sail will fly through the vacuum of space for 20 years before reaching its destination. During its flyby of Alpha Centauri, it will record images and scientific measurements which it will broadcast back to Earth."
Interstellar spaceflight powered by 100 million lasers
To develop their spacecraft, Breakthrough Starshot and the ANU team rely on the advancement of several key technologies. Lightsails, for example, were only recently proved as a viable form of space travel. In 2019, a Carl Sagan-inspired project called LightSail 2 was able to successfully lift its orbital trajectory around Earth by 3.2 kilometers using a lightsail, or solarsail, propelled by photons from the Sun.
The main challenge, however, will come in the form of the ANU team's state-of-the-art laser array proposal, which will have to precisely train millions of lasers to work in unison. "The Breakthrough Starshot program estimates the total required optical power to be about 100 GW — about 100 times the capacity of the world's largest battery today," Dr. Ward, from the ANU Research School of Physics, says. "To achieve this, we estimate the number of lasers required to be approximately 100 million."
To keep their lasers pointing precisely at the lightsail for the duration of the journey, the ANU team proposes using a 'guide laser' satellite in Earth's orbit, which will act as the conductor, making sure the entire laser array is pointing at the right coordinates. This, alongside an algorithm designed to pre-correct the light from the array, will help to account for the atmosphere distortion the rest of the Earth-bound lasers will suffer.
According to Dr. Bandutunga, "the next step is to start testing some of the basic building blocks in a controlled laboratory setting. This includes the concepts for combining small arrays to make larger arrays and the atmospheric correction algorithms." The ANU team also emphasizes the fact that it is part of a global collaboration and that it is only working on one facet of the ambitious project.
Breakthrough Starshot is one of the Breakthrough Initiatives, a series of scientific and technological programs founded by Yuri Milner, designed to search for life outside of our solar system. If the lightsail prototype does become a reality, it could achieve interstellar travel in our lifetimes by reaching the planets surrounding our second nearest star, Alpha Centauri, which gives its name to its star system. Success for the project, therefore, would elevate human beings to the lofty category of interstellar species. The question is, how many others, if any, are out there?
History's First UFO Abduction in 1572? The Strange and Mysterious Tale of Hans Buchmann
History's First UFO Abduction in 1572? The Strange and Mysterious Tale of Hans Buchmann
November 15, 1572.
The weather in Kriesbuhl, a small picturesque farming village in the foothills of the Swiss Alps is cold, even for that time of year, but clear.
On that day, a Saturday, Hans Buchmann, an impoverished peasant farmer, has a debt to pay. He owes sixteen florins, roughly the equivalent of $600 in today’s money, to a creditor in the nearby market town of Sempach. Hans has been borrowing heavily against his small plot of land to make ends meet and provide for his family.
But no matter how much Hans borrows, the money seems to always disappear and his family remains impoverished.
Lucky for him this fall’s crop has been quite lucrative and he’s saved up the money to pay off his creditor. Now in the crisp early morning sunlight Hans is preparing to walk the four miles to Sempach to pay off his debts. Unfortunately, for Hans, the road from Kriesbuhl to Sempach is mostly uphill and through wooded terrain, but in November of 1572, though the temperatures have been falling steadily over the last several days, no snow has yet fallen on the foothills of the Swiss Alps.
It is a journey that should take just under two hours each way, but Hans Buchman won’t return home for nearly three months.
Hans bundles up against the cold, putting on his woolen overcoat hat and mittens before grabbing his walking stick and departing. Perhaps out of a sense of shame over the debts that he’s incurred, or perhaps because he has other intentions entirely, Hans leaves his house without telling either his wife, or two teenage sons, exactly where he’s going…
Two weeks later, Hans Buchman, dirty and disheveled, and suffering from a splitting headache, awakes to find himself curled up against a stone wall in an alleyway in a strange and unknown city.
His hat, mittens, overcoat and walking stick are nowhere to be seen and he is clothed in nothing more than a ragged shirt and loose fitting pants. Clothes that seem to have once belonged to someone else.
He has no idea where he is. He runs out into the street inquiring of everyone who passes by in German, “Where am I? What city is this?”
But no one responds. Everyone simply walks by this dirty, unkempt madman, supposing Buchmann to be nothing more than some drunken foreign beggar, the kind that is very commonplace in this cosmopolitan early modern city.
It is St. Andrew’s Day, some two weeks after November 15, 1572 and hundreds of men, women and children are out in the streets, as church bells ring and call the faithful to mass.
Hans sees a man dressed in a soldier’s uniform, not unlike those Hans has seen worn by soldiers in his native Sempach. This soldier seems to be a man of authority, one of the many uniformed, heavily armed men that appear to dwell in this strange and overcrowded city.
“Sir,” Hans shouts in German as he runs up to the soldier, “my name is Hans Buchmann. I was traveling to my native city of Sempach but seemed to have lost my way. What city is this?”
The soldier responds in perfect German, “This is Milan and you are a long way from Sempach.”
1500's Milan
Hans Buchmann, somehow, has ended up over 150 miles from home. He had set out, two weeks ago, on a two hour’s journey from his native village of Kriesbuhl, a simple walk of four miles he had undertaken perhaps hundreds of times before, and ended up on the other side of the Alps in Italy, over a five days journey from his native village.
He has no idea how he got there.
The soldier who answered Hans’ desperate question, is as it turned out, Swiss and he is one of the many thousands of foreign mercenaries who regularly come to Milan to prop up that city’s defenses during the ongoing and interminable wars between the independent Italian city-states.
This soldier, along with other Swiss soldiers of fortune, helps Hans return home. For Hans the journey home in winter, over high snow covered mountain passes is long and arduous. It takes weeks for Hans Buchmann to reach Kriesbuhl. By the time he reaches the doorstep of his farmhouse it is already the first week of February 1573.
In the interim, Hans’ two sons had set out along the same overland trail as Hans on the way to Sempach in search of their missing father. They found Hans’ coat, hat, mittens and walking stick lying by the roadside at the edge of a forest outside of town, but upon reaching Sempach and inquiring of as many locals as they could find as to the possible whereabouts of their father, no one reported having seen him in at least two weeks.
Some residents of Sempach did report that they had seen Hans enter the town on the afternoon of November 15, 1572 and that he had stopped at a local tavern to have a drink, but after that the trail had gone cold.
During the sixteenth century it was common for towns and cities in central Europe to have a local chronicler, who would record events for posterity in a town chronicle, that would be kept in city record offices. It appears that when Hans Buchmann, did eventually return home, and told his fantastical tale of having ended up, by means unknown over 150 miles away in Milan, Italy that he was questioned by both a chronicler and a magistrate from the nearby German city of Rothenburg.
Original Chronicle from 1573
Hans' tale is so improbable that, suspecting some form of foul play or subterfuge on the part of the debtor, the magistrate demands a full investigation into the matter and requests that Hans Buchmann present himself at the Rothenburg police station at once.
Under intense questioning by the magistrate, as recorded in the Rothenburg city chronicle for the year 1573, Hans Buchmann admitted that he had first set out on his journey to Sempach carrying sixteen florins because he owed the money to a man named Hans Schiirmann the proprietor of the Romerswill Inn in Sempach
Sempach Romerswill Inn
Though the historical record is unclear as to whether or not Hans Buchmann ever explicitly stated what he exactly owed the money for, it would appear that the sixteen florins may have been some sort of drinking debt that he owed, like a bar tab gone out of control, since a 16th century inn was more akin to a modern tavern or dive bar rather than a sort of hotel.
Hans Buchmann said that he stopped at Schiirman’s home but that Schiirman was not there, and that unable to pay his debts at that moment, he then went to another local inn to have a drink.
It is at this point that Hans Buchmann’s story begins to get a little sketchy to say the least. Buchmann admitted to drinking on the day of his disappearance, but he claimed he couldn’t remember exactly how much though he stated to the magistrate that, “it was just a little.”
He claimed that he left the unnamed tavern a few hours later, just before sunset and decided to set off on his way home figuring that he would pay his debt back to Schiirman on another, later date, when the proprietor of the Romerswill Inn was at home.
Hans Bruchmann told the magistrate and chronicler of Rothenburg that the last thing he could remember while walking along a wooded trail on the outskirts of Sempach was hearing a loud and insistent buzzing sound. He said that he could recall looking up into the sky and seeing a bright light while being completely enveloped by a buzzing sound like a swarm of bees and lifted up into the night sky towards the light.
The next thing that Hans said he could remember was waking up in an alleyway in Milan with a pounding headache two weeks later and over one-hundred and fifty miles away.
In her book on European folklore surrounding the holiday season entitled The Old Magic of Christmas (Llewellyn Publications 2013) author, historian and folklorist Linda Raedisch states of Hans Buchmann, “(W)hen he was first set upon, he thought he was under attack by a swarm of bees, but the buzzing then revealed itself into a terrible scraping of bows on fiddle strings. We don’t know what really happened to Hans...but it is interesting that he should have mentioned how the buzzing of bees preceded his being lifted up and carried above the treetops.” (Raedisch 12)
Buzzing, noise and lights would indicate, perhaps the existence of some sort of craft, or motor, something that would have been completely unknown to a peasant farmer from the Swiss Alps in the year 1572.
It is also interesting to note that the night sky was extremely active with intriguing celestial phenomena at the time of Hans Buchmann’s supposed disappearance. In fact, only four days prior on November 11, 1572, Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe had become the first person in history to witness a supernova. Brahe, using crude astronomical instruments, had observed and recorded an enormous explosion in the night sky, what he incorrectly deemed the “birth” of a new star in the constellation Cassiopeia. In reality, what Brahe had seen, pretty much with his naked eye alone, was the death of a star, an explosion so enormous that it could easily be seen from billions of lightyears away. The type of celestial event that would have been readily visible to any extraterrestrial civilization anywhere in our galaxy.
Tycho Brahe's sketch of a Supernova
So, with all this talk of bright lights, buzzing and stars exploding in outer space was Hans Bruchmann the unsuspecting victim of history’s first ever verifiably recorded alien abduction?
Maybe, but maybe not.
In her book historian and folklorist Raedisch readily admits, “We don’t really know what happened to Hans...just before his disappearance he had borrowed some money without asking, so he had plenty of reason to fabricate the tale.” (Raedisch 12)
If his debt, was in fact a drinking debt, or if he never had the money to even pay back the debt in the first place, maybe he just conveniently decided to make himself disappear and then return once he supposed enough time had elapsed to allow him to think up a fanciful cover story and protect him from debtor’s prison.
Perhaps, Hans Buchmann simply went on a two week long drinking binge and wandered into Milan, or maybe, just maybe he ended up so far away from home via otherworldly means.
Hans Buchmann may have been history’s first documented victim of alien abduction, or he may simply have been a man filled with shame, who attempted to hide the truth about his debts and his addiction from his family. History will never know for sure...
It has never been easy for those who claim to have been abducted by aliens to convince their friends and family, let alone persuade authorities to investigate or plead their case in the court of public opinion. A recent incident in La Palma, Argentina, is becoming a classic case. A woman disappeared, is found wandering a day later 40 miles away, claims the last thing she remembers is a loud noise and bright lights, comes forward to identify herself and explain the experience to the media, and is doubted by UFO experts.
“I got up, drank two or three mates and began to see that the phone had some lines, something like interference.”
“The power went out, I walked outside and from there I don’t remember anything else. I did not see a light or anything, I only heard the wind as very strong and nothing else.”
“The next day she was sitting on the street, with her legs extended, her arms above her legs. When I open my eyes, I see the street and I look to one side, I see the edge and the other side the edge as well. I don’t remember how long I was sitting.” Google translation
Irma Rick, the woman who was said to have been be abducted by aliens on November 16, gave an interview to Canal Crónica TV, which was reported on by Infopico.com and Inexplicata. As noted in the original coverage, Irma also had a UFO encounter in 2002. Initial investigations by authorities mentioned that she was in no physical condition to have walked that far, was found in a severe state of shock and amnesia, and tracking dogs mysteriously lost her scent very near to her home.
“I only discussed it with my husband and my kids. What were they going to say? They’re just as startled as me. I would like to know what happened to me, but I still don’t know anything.”
(Irma, did you have any marks on your body?) “Yes, I have something that was done to my head. That’s all I have.”
Irma told the reporters she had no explanation for what happened to her and nor how she got the mark on her head. The reporters questioned her for any concrete evidence of a UFO or aliens – impressions in the ground – and she could not provide any. At the end, she agreed to be interviewed further by UFO researchers.
Luis Burgos (FAO-ICOU) is a well known South American UFO investigator. While he did not interview Imra Rick directly, he reviewed her testimony and the reports. In his report, he notes immediately that “there is nothing at all beyond the alleged abductee’s story.” No UFO investigators checked the site for radiation, electromagnetism, marks, prints or other signs of a UFO landing or alien contact. Burgos found Irma’s testimony on her UFO encounter in 2002. In that case, she reported seeing a UFO above her silo. Police later found that “bird droppings were burned on the silo and “pigeons no longer stop there like they used to.”
Again, no such investigation occurred after the latest incident, but what really bothered Burgos is Irma’s cellphone. While it’s odd that aliens would have allowed her to take in when abducted, what he finds really odd is that the investigators didn’t take away from her. The battery “was remarkably unaffected” during her disappearance and three calls were made from it. A GPS or phone company search would give the locations of the calls and the path the cellphone and Irma took during her 24-hour disappearance. That would make this “one of the easiest UFO cases to solve.”
If that’s the case, why wasn’t the phone inspected and the case solved? This would have been key evidence if Irma Rick was kidnapped, had some sort of medical lack-of-memory event or some other non-alien incident. Did the alien abduction story taint the investigation? Or was the police investigation controlled by the aliens? At this point, either is possible.
The case of Irma Rick is easy to doubt and hard to prove. It’s still unsolved.
CRONICA TV Interviews Teleportation (or Abduction) Victim
Argentina: Interview with Irma About her
Teleportation (or Abduction) Experience
[An interview with the experience, conducted by Marco Bustamante (interviewer), Esteban (news presenter) and an unidentified woman, also a presenter for CRONICA-TV. Irma is the woman abducted by an alleged UFO in La Pampa. She saw a very bright light in her patio, vanished for 24 hours, and reappeared 65 kilometers away.]
Interviewer: We’re here in La Pampa with Irma. What a fright!
Irma: Yes, it was a fright. I don’t even know how to explain it.
Interviewer: Could you tell us what happened?
Irma: Yes, see here. My husband went away to look after another property and…he left, and I got up, had two or three cups of mate, I played around with the phone and such, drinking mate early in the morning, then the phone began getting crisscrossed with lines, like when the service is going out –
Interviewer; [interrupts] So it was interference?
Irma: Yes, yes. I suddenly began hearing a buzzing, like when the wind whistles against a window
Interviewer: A windstorm on the phone
Irma: Yes, a buzzing, a loud whistling, so, ah, I told myself –
Interviewer: But it was outside?
Irma: I’ll tell you. When I looked at the phone, and heard this sound, I went outside, thinking my husband had forgotten something. I stepped out as far as there [points] where that little dog is.
Interviewer:
[camera pans right]
Irma: Up to there. That’s as far as I remember. Ten meters. I remember nothing more.
Interviewer: So four or five meters to the dog, and you lost sight of everything?
Irma: By the time I got here, I had no memory of anything.
Interviewer: [to camera] Friends, Irma is the woman about whom everyone has spoken, but this is the first time she’s speaking out.
News Presenter: Mirta, it’s such a pleasure to speak with you…
Interviewer: Irma, Irma
News Presenter: I’m so sorry, I’m awful with names. I apologize. Tell me, what is it that you remember?
Irma: As far as remembering, I remember very little. All I remember is the interference to my phone, the signal was lost. At that time, I stepped outside to where we have a covered porch, and I recall nothing else after that. I didn’t see any lights or anything at all. All I heard was the wind, a lot of wind, like an incredibly powerful wind.
News Presenter: And you woke up the next day somewhere else? Am I right in saying this? Please correct me if I’m wrong.
Irma: Yes, yes. Look, all I remember is that I wasn’t sure if it was night or day. I tried to open my eyes and all I could see was lights, many, many lights. And everything was white, as white as snow, you see. Just like that. But that same brightness didn’t let me open my eyes. It was something that kept my eyes from opening up.
News Presenter: And you couldn’t tell if it was day or night, or where you were?
Irma: No, no. No, no, no. Nothing. Nothing at all.
News Presenter: And you couldn’t hear anything or see anything?
Irma: Only the light, a very bright light that made my eyes shut again.
Interviewer: What did you feel?
Irma: I have no idea. No idea whatsoever. The next day I remember –
Woman’s voice: Yes, please tell us.
Interviewer: Go ahead, tell us, tell us.
Irma: What I do remember the next day is that I was sitting on the street with my legs outstretched, my arms on my legs. When I opened my eyes, I saw the street, I was at the edge of the street, I could see the other side, but I don’t remember how long I was sitting there.
Woman: And that’s what I was going to ask you. You disappeared for 24 hours. Do you remember the perception of time that you had? Did you feel 24 hours had gone by?
Irma: No
Woman: Did it feel like six months?
Irma: No, I only know what they told me. I don’t remember how long I was –
News Presenter: Right, and the place you turned up…was it known to you, did you recognize it or not?
Irma: Yes, because I’d gone by there. Which is why I’m telling you, after I got up, I walked around, I felt my body and noticed that I had my phone, right? The phone was in the pocket of my housecoat and it was on.
Woman: Your phone was on?
Irma: I don’t know how long –
Woman: Yes.
Irma: I don’t know how long I wandered around until I began reacting. When I looked at the phone, and saw it was on, I saw the time was 5:10 in the morning. That much I recall.
Reporter: So at what time did you vanish?
Irma: Look, it must have been around 7 in the morning.
Interviewer: 7 in the morning on Monday, and you appeared on 5 in the morning on Tuesday.
Irma: No, I disappeared on a Tuesday and reappeared on Wednesday
Interviewer: Ah, because that hadn’t been ascertained so far, getting the dates right. You were gone on Tuesday and came back on Wednesday.
Irma: Supposedly it was Wednesday.
News Presenter: That means there’s a one-night window of absence between Tuesday and Wednesday
Irma: Yes, yes.
Woman: Twenty-four hours
News Presenter: A little less than that, though. Twelve hours.
Irma: I don’t know, because I was around seven in the morning that I went outside and then appeared the next day as far as I know.
Interviewer: At five-thirty more or less. And when you came to and regained consciousness, you had enough presence of mind to take photos?
Irma: No, that came later. What I did first was phone my children. But I couldn’t speak. I started texting the kids. They tried to video call me, but all I could do was move my hands around, because I couldn’t [speak].
News Presenter: How? How did you move your hands around?
Irma: I moved my hands around because I couldn’t speak. Words wouldn’t come.
News Presenter: But you were able to see your phone?
Irma: Of course, and that’s why I began to text.
Woman: What you did was get in touch by messaging.
Irma: Of course, it was the first thing I did.
News Presenter: In fact, when you got to the hospital, you still weren’t able to speak.
Irma: No, no, it was a long time later that I –
Woman: When were you able to speak?
Irma: I don’t know. I couldn’t tell you. I remember what happened from 5:30 in the morning to around 10:30 more or less.
Interviewer: What did they tell you at the hospital?
Irma: No, nothing. They just asked me questions, much as you’re doing right now. I gestured, because it was the only way I could answer
News Presenter: Irma, evidently, this is the first time you’re telling your story…the possible abduction…is that how you say it? By a UFO, in the enormity of the province of La Pampa. Now, you’ve surely told this to your friends, relatives, acquaintances. How did you say it, and how was it received? Did they believe you or not?
Interviewer: [to News Presenter] Esteban, look at this. This is the first time she’s spoken to anyone about it, except her husband. This is the first time she’s spoken about it.
Irma: And with my kids. I only discussed it with my husband and my kids.
News Presenter: And what did they say?
Irma: What were they going to say? They’re just as startled as me. I would like to know what happened to me, but I still don’t know anything.
News Presenter: But your children…you have two, is that right?
Irma: Three, three.
News Presenter: Your three children and your husband – I understand you all live together there in this farmhouse?
Irma: I’m sorry?
News Presenter: You all live together in the farmhouse?
Irma: No, not at all. My children are in town. I’m out here alone with my husband.
News Presenter: With your husband. So your husband was an entire day without seeing you?
Irma: Yes. Look, maybe it would be better if he told you.
Interviewer: What impresses me is –
News Presenter: [overlapping]
Interviewer: Esteban, do you know what impresses me? Is that to get to the place where she was found, you have to make a complete turn. You have no idea how complicated it is to get here. We’re some 20 kilometers away from the town, but you need at least between forty minutes to an hour by car to get here, because the road isn’t lovely, there are many parts…you even have to drive across a stream…how were able to do all this? What explanation do you have?
Irma: What can I tell you?
Woman: Your clothes were clean.
Interviewer: When you were found, your clothes were clean.
Irma: Yes, but they said I was very dirty, smelly…at least that what they said.
Interviewer: So you walked 60 kilometers?
News Presenter: Excuse me, if you were able to walk sixty kilometers on rural roads, dusty roads, at the very least your shoes or slippers would be covered in dirt, at the very least. Your clothes too, but the footwear, definitely.
Irma: Yes, but no matter how much, I don’t think I could walk such a distance in that time.
Woman: Irma, did you have any marks on your body?
Irma: Yes, I have something that was done to my head. That’s all I have.
Woman: They did what?
Interviewer: [to Irma] You stay right where you are. We’re going to move the camera to show it. Where is the cut, Irma? Where is the cut on your head?
Irma: On top.
Interviewer: Okay, on top. We’re going to be showing you live this incision that appeared on her head.
[Irma brushes her hair aside with her right hand, camera focuses in to show a dark pink mark on the scalp.]
News Presenter: Look at that cut! so weird. This is incredible, Marco! It’s a meticulous incision. And a tough one to do, am I right?
Irma: What I want is an explanation. How would I do this to myself?
Interviewer: I have a confession to make. You know, Irma’s case made me think of…do you remember the case of the Chinese woman who left Ezeiza Airport, walked a few kilometers, she’d suffered a stroke and was unconsciously doing some things. Did the doctors tell you if you’d had a stroke or anything?
Irma: Well, they took me to [the town of] General Acha, they performed X-rays and [earpiece falls out]
Interviewer: [fumbles to replace Irma’s earpiece]
News Presenter: It’s very strange, the thing about your head.
Woman: Very strange.
Irma: It’s as if –
[On screen caption: “They Performed a Tomography and There’s Nothing To Be Seen”]
Interviewer: Can I ask you a favor? Could you get up and show us where it happened? Come, come, that way we walk around a little [puts earpiece into Irma’s ear. Both walk to the middle of the property. News Presenter thanks Irma for agreeing to the interview]. You were there, by that blue curtain, is that your dining room?
News Presenter: It was seven o’clock in the morning, is that right?
Irma: Yes, yes. That’s the house. [Points to door and a cement path leading to a covered car port] I walked right up to there. From the blue curtain to where the little white car is.
Interviewer: So the abduction took place right there?
Irma: I don’t remember, but I know I got that far.
News Presenter: There’s interference, Marco. Did you step on a wire or is there something else going on?
Interviewer: I’m using the cordless mike, no wires involved.
News Presenter: Maybe I’m going deaf. Anyway, go on, go on.
Interviewer: [Pointing at spot] So that’s where it would have taken place [Buzzing metallic interference becomes noticeable]
Irma: Yes, as far as I know, it was right there. I don’t remember anything beyond that.
Interviewer: [to News Presenter] Esteban, let me tell you…the distance from the door to the entrance of the rural road is at least one kilometer. If there was a vehicle involved, she would have noticed. Right, Irma?
Irma: Yes, I suppose I would have. Aside from that, take a look, all I could hear was the wind. A very strong wind that seemed to suck you in, but that’s where I lost consciousness.
Interviewer: Yes, it’s very odd
News Presenter: The production staff is checking the weather forecast for that day and there was no call for strong winds, at least from what the records show.
Interviewer: [Walks with Irma to the carport, which contains a Mitsubishi SUV. A sleeping dog gets up and walks away. Camera focuses on two sizeable indentations in the soil] We’re standing exactly on the spot where the abduction took place. [Looks at Irma] The place you were kidnapped.
Irma: Yes, yes.
Interviewer: And from here, to the place where you were found, there’s a 60 kilometer distance.
Irma: That’s more or less what they say.
Interviewer: [To News Presenter] But notice something. Irma takes very short steps.
News Presenter: [Interested in the indentations] Would those be the mark, the record, of the event? Am I saying it right or not?
Interviewer: Now we’re noticing the interference. We got cut off.
Woman: Did you notice that?
Interviewer: There’s some sort of interference.
News Presenter: I was saying that those indentations, depressions on the soil…could they be a record of the event? Could it be a key to this investigation?
Interviewer: Was there a ground impression, ma’am?
Irma: No, I don’t think so. Well, I didn’t see anything, so I don’t know.
Interviewer: [To News Presenter] Esteban, a little context here…
News Presenter: Stop, we saw what looked like a pit of some sort. Or is it a natural depression on the soil?
Irma: No, that’s something the dog does.
News Presenter: Oh, OK, nothing to do with it at all. And Irma, could you tell me, how did the animals react? The dog, the cats…how did they react?
Interviewer: Dogs are highly sensitive.
Irma: I couldn’t tell you.
Interviewer: You weren’t there.
Irma: There’s nothing I can say.
Woman: Did you hear them bark?
Irma: Can’t tell you. All I know is that I got this far and…that’s all I know.
Interviewer: This is all very strange, guys. Very, very odd.
News Presenter: Irma, would you be willing to tell your story to an agency tied to the research into these matters?
Irma: No, I didn’t speak to anyone.
News Presenter: But would you be willing to do so?
Irma: Yes, yes.
