The world was worrying about war when rancher W.W. Brazel walked into the sheriff's office in Corona, N.M., on a hot, dusty day 75 years ago to report a "flying disk" he might have found on his property, about 100 miles northwest of Roswell Army Air Field.
The next day - July 8, 1947 - the public information officer at the base issued a news release stating the U.S. Army Air Forces had recovered a "flying saucer" at the ranch. While military brass quickly retracted the statement, it was too late: The legend of Roswell as the "UFO Capital of the World" was already soaring - much like the countless bright objects many Americans claimed to have seen in the sky that summer.
The event that we know today as the "Roswell Incident" gave birth to the modern movement of UFO sightings, along with the genre of alien science fiction.
"For centuries, people have seen things they can't explain," said Roger Launius, a historian and the retired curator of the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum. "In earlier generations, they referred to them as angels, demons, deities or whatever. That changes with the scientific revolution, where people began to wonder if the points of light they see are alien in nature."
The fertile ground for Roswell was sown under the darkening mushroom cloud of the nuclear age. World War II had ended less than two years earlier, and the United States and Soviet Union seemed to be on the precipice of another global conflict. The term "Cold War" was coined by George Orwell in a 1945 essay and entered the modern consciousness when Bernard Baruch, an adviser to President Harry S. Truman, uttered it in a speech in the spring of 1947.
Amid this heightened apprehension came the first news of "flying saucers" - and the term's first mention in print, according to the Oxford English Dictionary - on June 24. Media across the country reported that a civilian pilot named Ken Arnold said he'd spotted bright objects streaking across the sky at supersonic speeds near Mount Rainier in Washington.
Some officials suggested the fast-moving lights might have been rockets or jets being tested by the military. Nonetheless, public hysteria erupted over the next few weeks, with more than 800 similar sightings being reported across the country - many of them deemed "copycat" events by law enforcement and military officials.
"When Ken Arnold sees this stuff, it's told in an overblown tabloid way," Launius said. "It gets hyped-up in the press and builds from there. If the present doesn't tell you that Americans love conspiracies, I don't know what does. It wasn't any different in 1947."
While all this was happening, an unsuspecting Brazel was tending the sheep and cattle on his New Mexico ranch. With no radio or newspaper, he was isolated from the outside world. The rancher gave little thought to the unusual debris he found scattered around his pastures.
On July 5, Brazel headed into Corona on a Saturday night and learned what everyone else had been talking about. He began to wonder whether there was a connection. On Monday, he gathered up the strange material and traveled back into town to inform local officials of his discovery. The sheriff visited Brazel's ranch, then contacted the military.
The debris was transported to Fort Worth Army Air Field in Texas, where military experts proclaimed it was from a crashed weather balloon. However, before that pronouncement was relayed back to Roswell, the New Mexico base sent out the news release about finding a "flying saucer." Lt. Walter Haut, Roswell's public information officer, later claimed that base commander Col. William H. Blanchard had ordered him to use that description.
For a few days, the world's attention was focused on Roswell, N.M. But most people seemed satisfied with the military's explanation, and the story quickly faded.
It would not blow up again until 1978, when the National Enquirer ran an article about the incident. All of a sudden, new versions of the event emerged - some from the original participants - with reports of an actual spacecraft, alien bodies and a government coverup adding new layers to the legend.
"The story seems to get better with each retelling," Launius said. "Initially, there was no discussion whatsoever of alien bodies. That somehow gets wrapped in it as part of the original incident, even though there is nothing about it in the sources of the time."
The story evolved with a seemingly endless array of articles, books, movies and documentaries about what "really happened" in the New Mexico desert. In 1993, television audiences were introduced to the long-running series "The X-Files," whose fictional stories of FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Sculley tracking down alien abductions and an international conspiracy only added fuel to the fire.
Many involved with the incident altered their descriptions of events over time, including the government. In 1947, the CIA and military were concerned that these "flying saucers" were actually new technology being used by the Soviets. When the Army Air Forces retracted its first statement, it was less than forthcoming about the debris' origins - likely because it was hiding a secret.
"The weather balloon was a cover story," Launius said. "The best evidence suggests that this was a Project Mogul listening device that they recovered pieces of."
Project Mogul was a military program designed to intercept Russian radio messages via high-altitude balloons, which would eventually deflate and fall to the Earth. Several crash sites have been identified around the country. In 1994, a U.S. Air Force report identified the top-secret project as the likely source of the debris found in New Mexico.
Launius said the UFO sightings of the summer of 1947 were the result of a world consumed by fear of an apocalypse.
"Just in the United States between 1947 and 1960, there were a total of 6,523 UFO reports," he said. "There seems to be a direct tie between public perception of the reality of space travel and these UFO sightings. I am convinced that the rapid rise in the number of UFOs reported in the early Cold War era was the result of heightened tensions as everyone watched the skies for warning of a nuclear attack."
But even if the Roswell Incident could be explained by a military program, subsequent events in the skies remain a mystery. On July 19, 1952, almost exactly five years after Brazel reported the strange debris on his ranch, a series of UFO sightings occurred over Washington, D.C. Airline pilots reported seeing flashes of light streaking across the sky, and radar operators were perplexed by fast-moving blips on their screens. The Air Force scrambled jets to intercept the objects, which disappeared and never returned. The event 70 years ago has never been explained.

FLORIDA — Here's something to celebrate as World UFO Day approaches on July 2: The Defense Department has finally acknowledged UFOs — or UAP, unidentified aerial phenomena — are real and may explain what you've seen in the skies over Florida.
In May, during the first public hearing on UFOs in half a century, a top Navy intelligence official told lawmakers the military has added more than 250 reports of aircraft flying at mysterious speeds and trajectories to its database in the past year, bringing the total to about 400.
What lawmakers didn't hear is evidence of extraterrestrial life.
What are folks reporting in the skies above Florida? The crowd-sourced list from the National UFO Reporting Center includes some strange things, indeed. For example:
One person in Fort Meyers said they saw a bright object moving across the sky and leaving smoke circles.
Another person on Anna Maria Island reported seeing a disc that moved across the sky for about 10 seconds and then quickly faded.
Someone in Jacksonville said they saw three objects hovering in the sky for about two hours. They told the Reporting Center that they called 911 1hen they saw an airplane flying in the same direction, but the dispatcher said there was not an aircraft in the area.
World UFO Day on July 2 commemorates the Roswell crash, which more or less made it safe for Americans to talk about strange occurrences in the sky. The crash occurred at the dawn of the Cold War, a time of escalating tension over the arms race when school children were taught duck-and-cover drills to protect themselves in a nuclear attack, fueling wild speculation about the object's origins.
The Roswell Army Air Field announced in a July 8, 1947, news release that it had recovered the wreckage of a "flying disc" from W.W. "Mac" Brazel's ranch about 75 miles north of Roswell.
The release was straightforward, noting:
"The many rumors regarding the flying disc became a reality yesterday when the intelligence office of the 509th Bomb Group of the Eighth Air Force, Roswell Army Air Field, was fortunate enough to gain possession of a disc through the cooperation of one of the local ranchers and the sheriff's office of Chaves County."
Earlier that summer, on June 24, 1947, Kenneth Arnold, a businessman piloting a small plane, filed the first well-known report of a UFO over Mount Rainier in Washington, according to History. Arnold claimed he saw nine high-speed, crescent-shaped objects zooming along at several thousand miles per hour "like saucers skipping on water."
The Roswell Army Air Field mentioned nothing in its press release about alien life, but people were already growing uneasy about what might be circling overhead. Brazel was among them.
He thought the object he found on his ranch was similar to what Arnold had seen, or to the objects described stories about flying saucers and discs, so he gathered some of the material from the wreckage, including rubber strips, tinfoil and thick paper, and deposited them with Sheriff George Wilcox, who in turn turned it over to the commanding officer of the Roswell Army Air Field.
Although the objects Arnold claimed to see weren't saucer-shaped at all, his analogy led to the popularization of the term "flying saucers." And since then, Americans have been more or less obsessed with the idea that alien life is among us. That brings us to the May hearings.
The Defense Department was loathe for many years to even acknowledge the existence of UFOs — or, as they're referred to in military and spy agency circles, UAP. But the Pentagon had to walk back years of public denial after a shadowy five-year program to investigate UFOs was exposed in 2017 by The New York Times and Politico.
The intelligence gathered over the five years of the program, which was initiated in 2007, included former Naval Cmdr. David Fravor's account of an other-wordly encounter with an oblong, Tic Tac-shaped aircraft flying erratically through his airspace at an incredible speed, defying accepted principles of aerodynamics.
"I can tell you, I think it was not from this world," Fravor told ABC News in 2017. "I'm not crazy, haven't been drinking. It was — after 18 years of flying, I've seen pretty much about everything that I can see in that realm, and this was nothing close."
Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, now a ranking member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, called on the Pentagon in late 2020 to investigate the UFO sightings.
The military said in its 2021 report to Congress on UFOs that investigators found no evidence supporting alien life, a finding Scott W. Bray, the deputy director of Naval intelligence, repeated in the hearings in May, telling lawmakers the investigation hadn't turned up anything "extraterrestrial in origin," and that none of the documented objects had attempted to make contact with U.S. aviators.
All of the unexplained sightings appeared to be unmanned, Bray said.
Still, the sightings are of great concern both to the military and to members of Congress from both parties, who worry about threats to national security. Some of the sightings of aircraft flying without a discernible means of propulsion have been reported near military bases, raising concerns they are the stealth spy aircraft of U.S. adversaries.
The U.S. government is believed to be withholding technical information about the sightings of the mysterious aircraft near military bases and coastlines, raising concerns about Chinese or Russian spy technology.
"We are also mindful of our obligation to protect sensitive sources and methods," Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security Ronald Moultrie said in his opening remarks. "Our goal is to strike that delicate balance — one that will enable us to maintain the public's trust while preserving those capabilities that are vital to the support of our service personnel."
Indiana Congressman Andre Carson, a Democrat who chairs the subcommittee of the House Intelligence Committee that held the hearing, has previously said that pilots too often are reluctant to come forward for fear they'll be ridiculed.
"We want to know what's out there as much as you want to know what's out there," Moultrie told lawmakers, adding that he was a fan of science fiction himself. "We get the questions, not just from you. We get it from family, and we get them night and day."
The move to destigmatize UFO reports appears to be contributing to an increase in reports, and detection capabilities are improving, Bray said.
For example, he said, Navy and Air Force pilots and crews "now have step-by-step procedures for reporting UAPs," using onboard technology.
Also, sensors have been improved, and more drones and other non-military aerial systems are in the skies, which could account for some of the increased sightings.
Another possible culprit, Bray said: Mylar balloons.
Republican Wisconsin Rep. Mike Gallagher introduced an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2023 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) to protect UFO whistleblowers from retaliation.
The amendment would create a “secure system for receiving reports of any event” or “any government or government contractor activity related to unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs). The whistleblower system would be staffed by “designated and widely known, easily accessible, andappropriately cleared Department of Defense and intelligence community employees or contractors.”
The language in the amendment has the potential to increase the disclosure of information on UFOs and unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) as it would protect those who come forward with information, according to The Drive. Individuals who speak publicly about UFOs have reportedly said that they have proof of alien life, but do not reveal much of the details for fear of imprisonment, according to Engadget.

The whistleblower system would be screened “to prevent unauthorized public reporting or compromise of properly classified military and intelligence systems, programs, and related activity, including all categories and levels of special access and compartmented access programs, current, historical, and future.”
Should anyone who discloses information on UFOs and UAPs be retaliated against, they would be allowed to bring civil action “for all appropriate remedies,” the amendment continued.
“Despite recent progress, we still know far too little about UAPs, along with the threat they may pose to our national security and the safety of our pilots. No one should be afraid of potential repercussions from sharing information that could help us better understand this phenomena, which is why we need to establish a secure and protected process within the government for individuals to share information and expand our understanding,” Gallagher told the Daily Caller of his amendment.
Gallagher is an outspoken advocate for UFO/UAP disclosure. During a livestreamed House Permanent Select Committee Intelligence Hearing on the topic, he pushed Pentagon officials to disclose more information on one reported incident from a Montana nuclear facility, which was shared to his YouTube channel.

There are many assumptions about the number of extraterrestrial species in the universe. Many UFOlogists, abductees, and even people in authorities claim to have seen the so-called intelligent beings from outer space. Alex Collier is the only contactee who provided in-depth information about the beings from Andromeda. In his interviews, he discussed the influence of various alien species on the human race.
Many well-known UFO enthusiasts considered Collier to be credible, at least in the sense that he tries to convey as fully as possible the information received from his contacts with the Andromedans. He first began to experience extraterrestrial contact during his childhood up to his mid-teens. After the experiences stopped over a period of several years, which included military service as a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army, the contact resumed in 1985.
He met with two Andromedans who became his mentors and took him on board their space vehicles including a large extraterrestrial mother ship where he was exposed to the teachings of the Andromedans over a three-month period. The Andromedans gave him information about cosmic spirituality, life in the universe, and Earth’s galactic history.
Collier claimed that humans are composite of 22 different ETs races that arrived on Earth at different times
The Andromedans are “one of the thousands of extraterrestrial races in existence.” They are human and some have bluish skin, measuring more than 2 meters tall. According to Collier, the author of the book “Defending Sacred Ground: The Andromedan Compendium,” all human life forms originated in the Lyra Constellation. However, a war caused their stars to explode, making humanity spread to different places in the galaxy to survive.
Collier explains that the different skin tones are due to different DNAs and exposure to different stars. The Andromeda Beings are one of the oldest civilizations living in the Andromeda constellation.
This civilization, no matter where in the constellation it lives, has a single government and is spiritually 4,700 more advanced than us, as well as 5,000 years technologically. However, they maintain a balance of the spiritual and technological. In fact, they use technology to be able to evolve spiritually.
This is because there are different dimensional levels. We are currently in the Third dimension. We still haven’t reached the Fourth, much less the Fifth. What differentiates the Third from the Fourth dimension, is the conscience.
In the fourth dimension, there is a collective consciousness, because everyone is telepathic and can read the mind of the rest. This leads to each person being authentic, transparent, and without ulterior motives. Upon entering this dimension, the being becomes clairvoyant since, in this state of consciousness, energy systems and fields can be seen.
However, there are still dualities and the judgment systems are modified since the judiciary will be able to take decisions according to the energy fields. The beings of Andromeda have not lived in a society as manipulated as ours. They are telepathic and clairvoyant because they have studied all the sciences.
All souls know who they are, they all know about their past lives, and every time they incarnate, they are aware and know where they are going. In addition, they can see their evolution in the afterlife.
According to various interviews by Collier, he stated that Earth is under the control of “regressive” extra-terrestrial beings. Those aliens came to Earth from the star system known as Alpha Draconis. He said that humans are separated by two different philosophical belief systems. One of them spreads love & free will, while the other one shows control and resource consumption. He said humans are behind the Andromedans because of the manipulations in our DNA. The intense manipulation of Earth dated back 5,700 years. However, this has an origin 14,000 years ago, when the aliens from Orion began to manipulate our DNA structure.
In his last lecture before he retired from the UFO lecture circuit in 2002, Collier said that the ancient alien race known as the “Founders” are responsible for building planets’ environments and making them suitable for life. The Andromedans and the Pleiadians believed that this ancient alien race is called the “Paa Tal.”
He even said that those aliens are capable of removing moons to alter the planet’s position from its sun to control the amount of radiation. The Andromedans could reportedly create a solar system.
Collier noted that the Andromedans are about 4,300 to 4,500 years ahead of us in technology. They do not count years in 365 days as we do on Earth. According to different extraterrestrials, one year is a time when every cell in their body duplicates itself, and it takes around 34 years.
According to Collier, humans consist of 22 extraterrestrial races. He claimed that there are about 135 billion people living on the planets in the eight closest galaxies to us. He even said that when he visited one of those habitable planets, those people got scared of seeing an earthling because of our bad reputation. In the whole universe, only humans could make their own people slaves and kill them for their own benefits.

Ergens op deze Hubble-foto botsen twee sterrenstelsels op elkaar. En nee, het zijn niet de twee grote spiraalstelsels die in elkaar lijken te schuiven.
Het grote sterrenstelsel op deze ruimtefoto van de week is NGC 105. Dit spiraalstelsel is 215 miljoen lichtjaar van de aarde verwijderd en ligt in het sterrenbeeld Vissen. Het object werd in 1884 door de Franse astronoom Édouard Stephan ontdekt. NGC 105 is zelfs met een goede verrekijker nog niet te zien. Je hebt een flinke telescoop nodig, wat ook verklaart waarom het sterrenstelsel pas relatief laat is ontdekt.
Links naast NGC 105 zien we een ander sterrenstelsel. Het lijkt net alsof dit sterrenstelsel – PGC 212515 (of LEDA 212515) – botst met NGC 105. In werkelijkheid is er niets aan de hand. De afstand tussen PGC 212515 en de aarde is 350 miljoen lichtjaar. Dit betekent dat er ruim honderd miljoen lichtjaar ‘ruimte’ is tussen de zogenaamde botsende sterrenstelsels en dat is meer dan genoeg. Om het in perspectief te plaatsen: het Andromedastelsel is slechts 2,5 miljoen lichtjaar van onze Melkweg verwijderd.
Toch zijn er wel botsende sterrenstelsels te zien op deze prachtige foto. Dan moeten we wel eerst goed inzoomen. Ver in de achtergrond treffen we diverse onregelmatige sterrenstelsels in verschillende soorten en maten aan. En ja hoor: er zijn zelfs twee botsende sterrenstelsels zichtbaar. Kijk maar eens naar de uitsnede hieronder. De botsende sterrenstelsels zie je net onder het midden van de foto.
Maar er is meer te zien op de foto. Zie je die heldere ster rechtsboven NGC 105? Die ster bevindt zich in onze Melkweg. Dit object staat dus honderdduizenden keren dichter bij de aarde dan NGC 105. Daarnaast zie je ook talloze rode puntjes. Dit zijn allemaal sterrenstelsels op miljarden lichtjaren afstand van de aarde. Fascinerend!
Veranderlijke ster steelt de show De reden dat NGC 105 is gefotografeerd door de Hubble-ruimtetelescoop is omdat dit sterrenstelsel een zogenoemde Cepheïde huisvest. Dit is een veranderlijke ster die regelmatig opzwelt en krimpt. Als de ster opzwelt, neemt de temperatuur toe en wordt de Cepheïde helderder. Na deze piek krimpt de gasbol weer en koelt de ster zo’n duizend graden af. Cepheïden zijn overigens hele grote sterren, namelijk zogenoemde superreuzen. Een gemiddelde Cepheïde heeft een doorsnede van vijftig miljoen kilometer. In vergelijking: de zon heeft een doorsnede van ruim één miljoen kilometer.
Verschillende supernova’s In NGC 105 bevinden zich ook nog eens drie Type Ia supernova’s, namelijk SN 1997w, SN 2006tg en SN 2007A. Dit type supernova ontstaat in nauwe dubbelstersystemen, waarin de ene ster een witte dwerg is, en de andere een rode reus (of een tweede witte dwerg). Type Ia supernova’s spelen een cruciale rol in ons begrip over het universum. Watch this huge orb moving over Menlo Park yesterday. The eyewitness saw it for 15 minutes, but only caught 58 seconds of video, but still it shows us its sphere shape. Absolutely awesome! Love this video, as short as it is, it tells me so many things, its sphere shape, its slow rotation, its high in the blue sky and moving ever so slowly...I just wish we could see it leaving. To see it move faster or change directions would help understand it a bit.

The news of a UFO crash in Roswell, New Mexico sent shockwaves through the nation, but what was once a headline of a newspaper on July 8, 1947 now seems to be nothing more than an urban legend.
The Roswell event started with a flying saucer in military possession to it being nothing more than a weather balloon, and a UFO expert Pope Nick told DailyMail.com that the '180 narrative flip' was effective in 'killing the story'
Nick Pope, who ran the British Government’s UFO project from 1991 to 1994, told DailyMail.com in a phone interview: ‘The US military released a press release that we had recovered a flying disc, which they said was once of those mystifying discs spotted over the US weeks before.
’24 hours later, they completely reversed the narrative.’
If the debris at Roswell was not of this world, than this could be one of the best cover story in American history, Pope suggested.
‘I am not saying this is deliberate, but the best cover story is the one that makes you laugh, makes roll your eyes,’ he said.
‘If something becomes a joke then serious politicians, military personal, scientists and journalists don’t want to touch it or if they do, they come from a perspective that they do not really believe it.’
The ‘180 narrative flip,’ as Pope calls it, refers to the intelligence office of the 509th Bombardment Group announcing that day at noon that they were in possession of a flying saucer and then stating that it was later determined by military officials to be a radar-tracking balloon.
‘I am still undecided,’ said Pope when asked if he believes it was an alien aircraft that crashed on the ranch 75 years ago.
‘As much as I believe in life out there, I am not sure about visitation.’
The wreckage was first discovered by W.W. 'Mac' Brazel, who was taking his sheep to a nearby stream.

Brazel spotted the debris over his land and called the authorities who came to the scene for a deeper analysis – which they determined was a flying saucer.

The story described the debris as being a metallic-looking, light but strong material.
But the excitement was gone in what seemed like an instant and no one thought twice about it.

Pope also pointed out that any UFO books written in the 1950s to 1960s do not include any information on the Roswell event.
‘The killing of the story was that effective,’ he said.
Pope continued to explain that it would be fascinating if the 75-year-old case could be solved and if the result was that the debris was from a UFO.

Mystery of the 1947 Roswell wreckage
In July 1947, a rancher reported pieces of debris scattered over his land.
Authorities were called to the scene and after investigating the wreckage, determined the pieces were from a flying sauce.
The local paper's front page story reported that the Roswell Army field recovered a flying saucer on a New Mexico Ranch after metallic-looking, light but strong material was scattered across the land.
'The intelligence office of the 509th Bombardment Group at Roswell Army Air Field announced at noon today, that the field has come into the possession of a Flying Saucer,' Roswell Daily Record reported on July 8, 1947.
However, shortly after the 'UFO' discovery made headlines, the War Department in Washington released a statement claiming the debris was the remains of a weather balloon.
‘Conversely, the people at the Roswell military base was where only atomic bomb squadron was housed and these people were the best of the best.’
‘If ever there were people less likely to misidentify a weather balloon it would be them.’
Playing devil’s advocate, Pope says the cover up could have been a way to conceal something like a top secret weapon that had crashed.
The conversation about UFOs and aliens is not taboo in the US, as over the past year the government has released video footage showing military jets chasing what could be a flying saucers.
There was also a recent public congressional hearing about UFOs, which saw three former cavalrymen testify about their encounter with a UFO at a Middle East US military base in 2014.
They said they saw eight bright objects hovering and zipping across the sky at incredible speeds from a desert outpost in Sinai, on the Egyptian border, around December 2014.
The three cavalry scouts, who are trained in identifying aircraft, believe the objects they witnessed were of non-human origin.
‘It is strange that despite all that interest and congressional hearings you hardly ever hear senators or congressional representatives s mention the 'R' word – Roswell,’ said Pope.

I’m a big fan of Billy Carson. I’ve watched the documentary and think it’s one of the best documentaries I’ve ever seen. The whole way it was done was so interesting I couldn’t stop watching, it was like reading a book you can put down. It’s actually genius and at the same time humble, it’s creativity blended with common sense.
The progression of finding the evidence was natural and flowing and at the very end you were sure there’s a black knight satellite and the implications of that are unthinkable for earth. I agree with Billy Carson when he says we better not try to shoot it down, it may send a message out and call in the Calvary. The sun unleashed a massive solar flare on Saturday (July 9), one powerful enough to earn X-class status, the highest ranking for solar flares. With energy waves higher than the earth itself. Solar flares, huge explosions in the sun's atmosphere, are classified on a logarithmic scale, where each letter represents a 10-fold increase in energy output compared to the one before it. The smallest solar flares are A-class, followed by B, C, M and then, at the top of the scale, X.
I estimate this one to be a X3-class maybe even a X4 flare. Such a massive amount of energy must have a purpose and has to be harnessed maybe even controlled and activated by aliens for communication, teleportation and other uses.

The eyewitness said that a MUFON conference was being held just the night before, so this UFO may feel the mental thoughts of believers in intelligent alien life. Hey all, at first when looking at this report, I thought it might be a glare, however did you notice the close up looks to be a solid object? Also the fact that the person is not moving, but only holding the camera steady on the fireworks, yet the object is moving? A glare would require a persons camera to be moving. The UFO seems to be only visible to the camera since the eyewitness said it was not visible at the time but noticed it later on video. Another odd thing...near the UFO there are small sparkles...yet it's far from the fireworks, as if it were trying to mimic the fireworks in its own way.

The hardest to record UFOs are those made of pure energy. They move fast, in unpredictable directions. These are not search lights. Searchlights have a pattern, but there is no pattern here. Each light is slightly different shape and size...but searchlights have same size shapes. This sighting cannot be easily dismissed. How can you dismiss a real sighting, just because it doesn't fall into the category of what you think it should look like? These are real UFOs.

Was woken by my girlfriend told to come outside. We both saw 2 lights low down circling around in th same pattern but occasionally with more appearing with them there were also a few directly above our heads. Wow Signal
Of all the occurrences discovered by science in outer space, the renowned signal Wow! It is among the most enigmatic.
It is a 72-second radio wave signal collected by the Big Ear Radio Observatory on August 15, 1977. A message that hasn’t ever been spotted before. Nothing similar has occurred since then.
The scientist Jerrt Ehman was in charge of spotting this signal in the radio telescope, and when he acquired such data, he jotted down the word Wow! in addition to the recorded information, thus the suitable moniker.
Nevertheless, this would not imply that an alien is trying to be spotted. It is not even known where it originates from with certainty, and there is a chance that it is a natural phenomenon, which would also be fantastic news.
As a result, it is the responsibility of subsequent generations to try to decipher the cause of this extraordinary event.
A new study has evaluated the data and says that it has uncovered the source of the signal; a star in the Sagittarius constellation that may fit the parameters for life as we know it situated 1800 light-years distant.
It is the question that everyone wants to know the answer to, and it is not for the faint of heart. According to the study’s author, the signal Wow! According to DW analysis, it is the best radio transmission candidate for SETI (search for alien intelligence) that we have acquired with our telescopes.
However, it is equally reasonable to believe that a putative alien civilization employed this element to interact.
The study’s explanation
Over the years and via various research, it was determined that the signal originated from the Sagittarius constellation or possibly from some adjacent star clusters. Working on this terrain, on the other hand, is almost a mission impossible in a sense.
However, astronomer Albert Knight set out to evaluate data from thousands of stars in this location until the search could be narrowed down. That is how he discovered 2MASS 19281982-2640123, a star identical to our Sun located 1,800 light-years distant in the constellation of Sagittarius, as published by D.W.
Although this star is too far away to send any reaction in the form of radio or light transmission, Caballero stated in his final essay that it could be a wonderful target for observations hunting for exoplanets surrounding the star.
The most startling aspect of the case is that the star that is pointed to is quite close to the distance at which an extraterrestrial civilization is most likely to reside. This star’s estimated temperature is barely 5 degrees warmer than the Sun’s, and its radius and luminosity are nearly similar. According to him, it is a good target for searching for potentially habitable exoplanets.
Even if this signal was not transmitted by an extraterrestrial civilization, this study is fantastic news for astronomy. We already indicated that the fact that it is a natural occurrence is beneficial since there could be a world identical to our Earth in this vicinity. However, it also provides a fresh observation tool for other constellations in the never-ending quest.
