Mysterious UFO Sightings: West Texas Encounters and a Strange Assault in Scotland

200-Foot UFO Seen in 13 Places in One Night

In the world of UFO sightings, a significant percentage can often be debunked as misidentifications or hoaxes. However, some reports defy all conventional explanations. Two such incidents—one in West Texas and another in Scotland—have left investigators baffled, as the experiences shared by witnesses hint at otherworldly encounters that remain unresolved to this day.

A Night of UFO Sightings Across West Texas

One of the most mysterious and widely reported UFO events occurred on November 2, 1957, in West Texas. On that fateful night, residents across at least 13 locations, including multiple police officers and a state fire marshal, reported sightings of a massive 200-foot-long cylindrical object flying low over the landscape. The object seemed to affect nearby vehicles, causing engines to stall and electrical systems to fail. This unprecedented series of sightings became known as the “UFO Storm of 1957.”

The incident began in the small town of Levelland, Texas, when farm workers Pedro Saso and Joe Salas were driving home late at night. While on a quiet, dark country road, the two men saw a bright, unidentified light approaching their vehicle. At first, they thought it might be a planet or a distant star, but the light quickly grew larger and more defined. They soon realized they were facing something far more unusual—a massive cylindrical object that seemed to be flying toward them.

As the object drew closer, Pedro and Joe’s truck suddenly stalled. The lights went out, leaving them in complete darkness except for the eerie glow of the approaching object. Fearful for their safety, Pedro leaped from the truck, seeking refuge, while Joe remained frozen in his seat. The object hovered above them, emitting intense heat and a loud whirring sound, similar to the force and noise produced by a jet engine.

Then, just as quickly as it had appeared, the object accelerated into the sky at an incredible speed—an estimated 600 to 800 miles per hour—leaving the two men stunned. When it vanished, the truck’s engine and electrical system came back to life. Shaken but unharmed, they drove to the nearest town and contacted the local sheriff.

While initially dismissed by authorities due to their background as Hispanic part-time farmers, Pedro and Joe’s story gained credibility when multiple other reports of similar encounters flooded the sheriff’s office that night. Citizens across West Texas reported their vehicles malfunctioning in the presence of the strange object, with some accounts coming from highly credible witnesses, including law enforcement officers. The event went on to become one of the most well-documented UFO sightings of the 1950s, and its sheer scale and consistency across multiple locations make it particularly noteworthy.

A Bizarre Assault in Scotland’s Dechmont Woods

While UFO sightings often involve distant lights or fleeting objects in the sky, one encounter in Scotland took a far more physical and terrifying turn. Robert Taylor, a forestry worker and World War II veteran, had a bizarre and disturbing experience in Dechmont Woods, near Livingston, Scotland, in November 1979. Taylor was conducting a routine inspection of the forest with his dog when he stumbled upon something completely out of the ordinary.

While walking through the woods, Taylor noticed a strange distortion in the air, akin to a heat shimmer, which momentarily obscured the trees. As he moved closer, the distortion cleared, revealing a spherical metallic object with protrusions resembling landing legs. The object emitted an unsettling banging noise, which immediately caught Taylor’s attention.

Things took an even stranger turn when two smaller spherical objects, equipped with spikes, emerged from the main object. These smaller spheres rapidly approached Taylor, and before he could react, they latched onto his legs. He recalled feeling a noxious, acrid smell that overwhelmed his senses, and the spiked spheres began dragging him toward the larger object. Overcome by the situation, Taylor passed out.

When he regained consciousness, the object and the smaller spheres had vanished. However, the clearing where the encounter occurred bore strange markings, with round holes and lines etched into the ground. Taylor’s trousers were also torn, consistent with the spikes he described, and a forensic analysis later confirmed this damage. Despite a thorough investigation by the police, no clear explanation could be found, and the case was officially treated as an assault. Taylor’s credibility as a war hero and respected member of the community lent weight to his story, making this one of the most unusual UFO-related cases on record.

    Unresolved Mysteries

Both the West Texas UFO sightings and Robert Taylor’s encounter remain unsolved to this day. In Texas, the wave of sightings in 1957, involving multiple witnesses and vehicle malfunctions, defies simple explanation. The same goes for Taylor’s experience in Scotland, which involved a physical interaction with an unknown object. While skeptics may propose alternative explanations, the witnesses in both cases were credible and detailed in their accounts, making these events enduring mysteries in the world of UFO investigations.

These stories serve as a reminder that some encounters with the unknown leave more questions than answers, forcing us to consider the possibility that there are phenomena beyond our current understanding.

Trump’s Mysterious Remarks on UFOs: Unveiling His Stance on Aliens

During his time in office, President Donald Trump addressed the topics of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) and extraterrestrial life on several occasions. His comments, often marked by skepticism and ambiguity, have both intrigued and perplexed the public.

Acknowledgment of Briefings on UFO Sightings

In June 2019, President Trump spoke with George Stephanopoulos of ABC News, where he confirmed receiving briefings about UFO sightings reported by U.S. Navy pilots. These pilots had encountered unexplained aerial phenomena that displayed advanced flight capabilities. When asked about his thoughts, Trump remarked:

I did have one very brief meeting on it. But people are saying they’re seeing UFOs. Do I believe it? Not particularly.”

This statement highlighted his awareness of the incidents but also his personal doubt regarding their significance or connection to extraterrestrial activity.

The Roswell Incident: An Enigmatic Response

In a Father’s Day interview in June 2020 with his son, Donald Trump Jr., the former president was questioned about the legendary Roswell incident of 1947—a focal point in UFO lore involving a supposed alien spacecraft crash in New Mexico. Trump responded with a hint of mystery:

I won’t talk to you about what I know about it, but it’s very interesting.

This coy reply sparked widespread speculation, suggesting he might possess undisclosed information about the incident, yet he offered no concrete details.

Formation of the U.S. Space Force

While not a direct comment on UFOs or aliens, President Trump’s establishment of the U.S. Space Force in December 2019 demonstrated a significant commitment to space-related defense initiatives. The Space Force was created to protect American assets in space and to address potential threats, which could encompass monitoring unidentified objects entering Earth’s atmosphere.

    Legislative Action on UFO Transparency

In December 2020, amid the signing of a substantial COVID-19 relief and government funding bill totaling $2.3 trillion, a less-publicized directive was included. The legislation mandated that U.S. intelligence agencies produce an unclassified report on UFOs and submit it to Congress within 180 days. Although not an explicit statement from Trump, this action under his administration indicated a move toward greater transparency on the subject.

    Maintained Skepticism Toward Extraterrestrial Existence

Throughout his presidency, Trump consistently exhibited skepticism regarding the existence of extraterrestrial life. In an October 2020 interview with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo, when pressed about the possibility of UFOs, he stated:

I’m gonna have to check on that. I mean, I’ve heard that. I heard that two days ago. So I’ll check on that. I’ll take a good, strong look at that.

Such remarks were characteristic of his cautious approach—acknowledging the topic without endorsing any particular belief or revealing sensitive information.

Top 10 Moments from Joe Rogan's Interview With Trump

President Donald Trump’s engagements with the topics of UFOs and aliens were a blend of acknowledgment and skepticism. While he confirmed awareness of military reports concerning unexplained aerial phenomena, he refrained from offering definitive opinions or disclosing detailed information. His enigmatic comments, particularly about the Roswell incident, have left room for public curiosity and ongoing discussion. Trump’s stance reflects a balance between national security interests and a personal skepticism of unverified claims about extraterrestrial life.

Unveiling the Lost Walt Disney UFO Documentary: A Forgotten Exploration of Alien Encounters

    Lost Walt Disney UFO Documentary

In the mid-1990s, Walt Disney produced a documentary that has since become the center of much speculation and intrigue among UFO enthusiasts. This rare piece of media, often referred to as the “Lost Walt Disney UFO Documentary,” was broadcast only once in five U.S. states in 1995 before it was mysteriously shelved and never aired again. The documentary presents a unique and surprising narrative, blending science fiction with claims of actual extraterrestrial contact, making it one of the most enigmatic features associated with the Disney brand.

    The Documentary’s Content

The documentary opens with a familiar face, Michael Eisner, the then-CEO of Walt Disney Company, who introduces the audience to the program in celebration of the new Tomorrowland at Walt Disney World in Florida. However, the focus quickly shifts from Disney’s futuristic theme park to a much more startling subject: UFOs and extraterrestrial life.

The film asserts that alien spacecraft have been visiting Earth for decades, with sightings reported across continents. It presents a blend of startling testimonies, home video footage of supposed alien craft, and scientific analysis, all aimed at convincing viewers that intelligent extraterrestrial life is not just a possibility but an ongoing reality. The documentary highlights how aliens are allegedly attempting to make open contact with humanity and delves into how various world governments have systematically covered up these encounters.

    WATCH IT HERE:

Lost Walt Disney UFO Documentary, this version is the complete uncut feature

One of the documentary’s primary claims is that for over 50 years, extraterrestrial encounters have been documented and investigated by government agencies worldwide. According to the documentary, officials have been aware of these visits but have chosen to hide the evidence from the public to avoid widespread panic.

    Evidence of Extraterrestrial Contact

The documentary presents various forms of evidence to support its claims, including:

    1. Home Videos of UFOs: It showcases videos from multiple eyewitnesses who captured flying saucers and strange aerial phenomena in the skies. One of the notable examples shown is footage from Mexico City in 1992, where an alien craft allegedly stalked military helicopters during a national holiday.
    2. Government Involvement: It suggests that governments around the world, especially the U.S. government, have engaged in elaborate disinformation campaigns to hide the existence of extraterrestrials. Retired military officers and intelligence experts speak on camera, claiming that they’ve witnessed extraterrestrial crafts firsthand or have had access to classified information about UFO sightings.
    3. Alien Abduction Stories: Personal testimonies from abductees add a disturbing dimension to the documentary. Some individuals recount being taken aboard spacecraft against their will, where they were subjected to various experiments. The documentary portrays these experiences as traumatic and life-altering, often leading to lasting psychological effects for the abductees and their families.
    4. Scientific Insights: The documentary draws a connection between the development of nuclear weapons and the increased frequency of UFO sightings. It suggests that the detonation of the atomic bomb in 1945 may have acted as a cosmic signal to alien civilizations, prompting them to visit Earth.

A Peek Behind the Curtain: The Roswell Incident

One of the focal points of the documentary is the infamous Roswell Incident of 1947, where an alien craft allegedly crashed in the New Mexico desert. The film reinforces the narrative that the U.S. military recovered not only debris from the crash site but also alien bodies, which were studied in secrecy. The Roswell case is presented as the linchpin in a larger government effort to suppress knowledge of extraterrestrial life. Testimonies from witnesses who claim to have handled the wreckage and bodies suggest a coordinated cover-up, with the military spreading disinformation to protect the truth.

Tomorrowland and the Public’s Preparation for Alien Contact

In addition to the UFO content, the documentary ties its subject matter back to Disney’s theme parks. Tomorrowland, a futuristic section of Disney’s Magic Kingdom, was undergoing renovations at the time, including the addition of a new attraction: “Alien Encounter.” This sensory thriller, developed in collaboration with George Lucas, aimed to prepare visitors for the potential reality of alien contact. The documentary suggests that this attraction was more than just entertainment — it was a way to help the public acclimate to the idea of extraterrestrial life, hinting that such encounters might soon become a reality.

    Why Was It Shelved?

Despite its shocking content and the Disney brand behind it, the documentary was pulled from circulation after only a single broadcast. There is no official explanation for why Disney decided to shelve the documentary, fueling rumors and conspiracy theories. Some believe that Disney was pressured by the government or other influential entities to suppress the film, while others think it might have been seen as too controversial for a family-oriented brand like Disney.

The Legacy of the Lost UFO Documentary

Today, the “Lost Walt Disney UFO Documentary” remains a topic of fascination. Bootleg copies have surfaced on the internet, with UFO researchers and conspiracy theorists analyzing its content for hidden truths. For those who believe in the possibility of extraterrestrial life, the documentary is seen as a bold attempt by a major corporation to introduce the public to the idea of alien encounters. For skeptics, it’s an intriguing example of how UFO mythology can be woven into mainstream media, even by a brand as wholesome as Disney.

In the end, the documentary serves as a reminder of the enduring mystery and allure of the unknown. Whether one views it as a piece of entertainment or a revelation of hidden truths, the lost UFO documentary from Disney continues to captivate audiences and fuel speculation about what might be out there — watching and waiting.

Paraglider captures unexpected visitor at the top of the Great Pyramid of Giza

Last Monday, paraglider Alex Lang was flying high above the Great Pyramid of Giza when he noticed unexpected movement at its peak. To his surprise, it wasn't a person, but a dog perched at the top of the ancient monument.
Lang, who recorded the bizarre sighting, described the dog barking and chasing birds from the very summit of the pyramid.
The footage left people both fascinated and confused, wondering how the dog had managed to scale such an immense structure. Some even joked that it might be a manifestation of Anubis, god of funerary practices and care of the dead. However, the main concern was whether the dog could safely make its way back down.

Luckily, a few days later, the dog was captured on video making its way down the ancient landmark, appearing calm and unscathed, as if the climb had been no big deal.

Project Blue Beam: Fact or Fiction? 'The Fake Alien Attack Conspiracy'

Imagine waking up one morning to a world where everything you know is turned upside down. Overnight, groundbreaking (false) archaeological discoveries challenge the foundations of every major religion, leaving society in turmoil and disbelief.

Before you can even comprehend what’s happening, the sky begins to change. Towering, hyper-realistic projections of gods appear above major cities worldwide, communicating directly with their followers, not through spoken words, but telepathically.
As panic grips the planet, reports of UFO sightings flood the news. Global leaders urge people to unite in the face of an impending extraterrestrial threat. In just two days, the world you once knew has crumbled.
This scenario sounds like a plot from a science fiction movie, but some conspiracy theorists believe this could be part of a secret agenda known as Project Blue Beam, an alleged psyop designed by powerful elites to bring about a New World Order and reshape society.
Serge Monast was such a conspiracy theorist. He is mostly known for his promotion of the Project Blue Beam conspiracy theory, Under the guise of a heart attack he died in his home in December 1996 at age 51.
According to Serge Monast Project Blue Beam has four stages:
    Step 1: Discrediting Archaeological Knowledge.
The first phase involves revealing falsified archaeological findings that call into question the core beliefs of every major religion, creating widespread confusion and societal disruption.
Step 2: Global Holographic Projections of Religious Figures.
A "space show" is staged where three-dimensional holographic projections of messianic figures appear in the skies over different regions of the world, each corresponding to the dominant religious beliefs in that area.
    Step 3: Telepathic Communication.
The third phase involves the use of advanced technology to simulate telepathic communication, where individuals believe they are receiving direct messages from their deities or spiritual leaders.
Step 4: The Grand Deception. The final stage is divided into three parts:
    • Convincing the global population that an alien invasion is imminent in every major city.
    • Persuading Christians that the Rapture is about to occur.
    • Using a mix of electronic manipulation and supernatural forces to create an illusion that will penetrate all forms of communication and technology, even infiltrating household appliances.
While many people dismiss Project Blue Beam as pure fantasy, the theory raises an unsettling question: could such a grand deception ever really be pulled off? And if so, how can we prepare for the possibility of such a dramatic upheaval?

Unveiling UFO Secrets: Lue Elizondo’s Revelations on UAPs and Government Secrecy

Lue Elizondo, a former U.S. intelligence officer and the director of the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), has played a critical role in bringing unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) to the forefront of public discussion. Known for his work in UFO investigations, Elizondo’s revelations have sparked global intrigue, fueling the belief that humanity is not alone in the universe. Through his interviews, Elizondo has shed light on some of the most compelling UFO secrets, revealing both astonishing claims and uncomfortable truths about UAPs and their impact on national security.

The Dichotomy of UAPs: Truth or Mass Hysteria?

In his interview, Elizondo discusses the two possible realities surrounding UAP sightings: either they represent non-human entities visiting Earth, or we are witnessing a form of mass hysteria on an unprecedented scale. What makes this dilemma so significant is the credibility of those reporting UAP encounters, such as military generals, nuclear technicians, and trained pilots with high-level security clearances. These individuals are responsible for critical national security tasks, which raises serious concerns if their sightings are to be dismissed as mere psychological phenomena.

The discussion emphasizes the existence of advanced aerial objects, like the Tic Tac-shaped craft or black cubes and triangular craft, that seem to outperform the best of human-made technology. Elizondo describes these objects as more advanced than any known aircraft, leaving experts baffled by their speed, maneuverability, and ability to defy conventional physics.

The Legacy of UFO Secrecy in the U.S. Government

One of the key revelations Elizondo touches on is the deep-rooted secrecy in the U.S. government regarding UFOs. He explains that while parts of the government remain hostile toward public UFO disclosure, significant efforts have been made behind the scenes to bring the truth to light. His work, alongside colleagues like former deputy assistant secretary of defense Chris Mellon, led to the declassification of three key UAP videos in 2017, which were then shared with the public through a New York Times article. These videos showed UAPs displaying flight characteristics that defied explanation.

Elizondo’s role in UFO investigations also involves navigating the complexities of classified programs. For example, he hints at the possibility of reverse-engineering UFO technology in secretive government projects. According to Elizondo, there have been longstanding “legacy UFO programs” that involve studying non-human intelligence and possibly even crash retrievals. However, he admits that much of this information is still classified, and full disclosure remains elusive.

UAPs and Nuclear Sites: A Critical Connection

Another alarming connection highlighted by Elizondo is the apparent interest UAPs have in nuclear capabilities. This includes sightings over nuclear facilities and military bases, which raises concerns about the potential threat they pose to national security. Elizondo draws parallels between UAP observations and the Serengeti, where predators like cheetahs observe their prey. He suggests that these entities could be studying human nuclear capabilities with similar intent.

The recurring presence of UAPs near nuclear sites across the world, from the U.S. to Russia and China, lends credence to the idea that these phenomena are more than random sightings. Elizondo reveals that many military personnel, from missile operators to radar technicians, have reported UAP sightings near nuclear facilities, further intensifying the mystery surrounding these objects.

Remote Viewing and UAPs: A Glimpse into Psychic Espionage

A particularly intriguing aspect of Elizondo’s interview is his discussion on remote viewing, a practice associated with psychic espionage. He describes his own involvement in a CIA experiment in which he and colleagues attempted to remote view a high-value detainee in a secure facility. According to Elizondo, their remote viewing efforts were successful enough to produce startling results, which included the detainee experiencing strange phenomena, such as visions of five white figures shaking his bed. This episode underscores the possibility that human consciousness could play a role in perceiving or interacting with UAPs in ways that conventional science has yet to fully understand.

Elizondo also notes that this practice of remote viewing was not unique to the U.S. The Russians and other foreign powers engaged in similar programs, exploring the potential for using the mind as a tool for intelligence gathering. While he cautions that remote viewing is still not fully understood, the data collected through these programs suggest there is more to the human mind than we currently comprehend.

The Role of Science and Technology in Understanding UAPs

Throughout the interview, Elizondo emphasizes that UAP investigations require a scientific approach, one that goes beyond conventional thinking. He touches on theories involving the manipulation of space-time and gravity to explain how UAPs achieve their extraordinary flight capabilities. These craft may create a “space-time bubble” around them, allowing them to traverse great distances in short periods by warping the fabric of reality itself.

Elizondo points out that the material science behind UAPs could be far more advanced than what is currently understood by mainstream science. He references scientific models that support the idea of manipulating gravity as a field variable, something that could provide the key to unlocking the propulsion systems of these craft. This, however, is not widely accepted within the traditional scientific community, and Elizondo highlights the need for new frameworks in physics to fully comprehend UAP phenomena.

The Ethical Dilemma: Are We Ready for the Truth?

One of the most profound questions Elizondo raises in his interview is whether humanity is truly ready to accept the truth about UAPs. He notes that while the public has a right to know about these phenomena, the implications of full disclosure could be both transformative and destabilizing. The technology behind UAPs, if revealed, could lead to massive shifts in global power dynamics and military capabilities. There is also the potential for misuse of such technology if it falls into the wrong hands.

Elizondo believes that careful consideration must be given to how information is disseminated and who controls the narrative. He expresses hope that the next generation will be able to handle the truth in a responsible manner, ensuring that the knowledge of UAPs can benefit humanity rather than sow further division or conflict.

Lue Elizondo’s interview sheds light on some of the biggest UFO secrets, revealing the complexities of UAP encounters and the challenges of disclosing such information to the public. His insights suggest that UAPs are not just a phenomenon of curiosity but have real-world implications for national security, science, and our understanding of the universe.

As Elizondo points out, the conversation about UAPs needs to be had—sooner rather than later. The future may depend on how we approach these phenomena, not only from a scientific standpoint but also from a collective, ethical perspective. Whether we are dealing with visitors from other worlds, future versions of ourselves, or something even more mysterious, it is clear that the truth about UAPs could change everything.

Hessdalen Lights: Real UAP Evidence Caught on Camera?

    Hessdalen Lights

The Hessdalen Lights, a mysterious phenomenon witnessed in a remote valley in Norway, continue to baffle scientists, locals, and UFO enthusiasts alike. These strange, pulsating lights in the sky have sparked debates, theories, and numerous investigations over the years. In a recent expedition, retired F-16 pilot and UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon) investigator Chris Leos, along with fellow YouTuber Carl Crusher, ventured into Hessdalen to capture the elusive lights on camera. Their journey raises the question: could these lights be real evidence of UAPs, or is there a more conventional explanation?

    The Investigation Begins

Chris Leos and Carl Crusher traveled to Hessdalen, a place long known for its unexplained light phenomena, to record and analyze these events. Hessdalen Lights have been reported as flashing, glowing orbs that hover in the sky or move erratically, disappearing and reappearing at random. Upon setting up camp, the duo witnessed several flashes, which they successfully caught on camera, prompting speculation about their origin.

The expedition took place in Hallin, Norway, a region famous for such sightings. As the team watched the sky through night-vision equipment, they saw bright flashes in the otherwise clear sky. The flashes were distinctive because they lacked the rhythmic patterns typical of aircraft or satellite lights. Chris, initially suspecting an airliner, quickly dismissed the idea due to the absence of clouds and the irregularity of the lights.

    Real-Time Encounters and Analysis

During their stay, the team had a surprise encounter with a French media crew filming a documentary about UAP hunters. It was during this encounter that Carl Crusher, using his night-vision camera, captured one of the bright flashes. Chris and Carl both witnessed the flash in real time, sparking further discussions about whether the light could be a UAP or something more ordinary, like a satellite flare.

Despite their high-tech equipment and sharp observational skills, neither Chris nor Carl could conclusively identify the lights. The flashes did not conform to the typical characteristics of aircraft or satellite lights, and there were no visible clouds that could account for the phenomenon. This raised the possibility of the lights being UAPs or some other unexplained atmospheric event.

    CE5: Communication with the Unknown?

One intriguing aspect of the investigation was the introduction of the CE5 (Close Encounter of the Fifth Kind) meditation technique, a method used by UAP enthusiasts to initiate communication with extraterrestrial intelligence. This practice involves meditative exercises that aim to call down UFOs or UAPs by focusing thoughts and intentions on them.

During the expedition, a local man named Eric shared a personal story. His wife, despite never having seen orbs before, felt an intuitive urge to go outside and look at the sky during a CE5 meditation session. To her surprise, she witnessed a mysterious orb after doing so. This anecdote added another layer of intrigue, suggesting a possible link between human consciousness and the appearance of the Hessdalen Lights.

While some remain skeptical of CE5 techniques, believers argue that the lights may be reacting intelligently, even telepathically, to observers. The idea that these lights could have some form of consciousness behind them continues to spark debate.

    Exploring Possible Explanations

Although the flashes observed by Chris and Carl were impressive, the question remains: what exactly are they? The most common hypothesis is that the Hessdalen Lights may be related to satellites. However, Chris was quick to point out that the flashes didn’t resemble typical satellite behavior. A possible explanation is a satellite flare, a phenomenon where sunlight reflects off a satellite’s surface, causing a sudden, bright flash in the sky. Yet, the flashes seen in Hessdalen were unusual, appearing multiple times without the characteristic steady movement of satellites.

Other potential explanations include atmospheric phenomena, such as unusual magnetic or electrical anomalies, which could create the illusion of lights. However, many of these theories fail to fully explain the lights’ erratic behavior, or their apparent responsiveness to human observation, as some witnesses have claimed.

    A Continuing Mystery

Despite the advanced technology and numerous investigations, the Hessdalen Lights remain largely unexplained. Chris Leos emphasized the need for further data analysis and detailed investigations to understand the lights’ true nature. He mentioned ongoing research efforts, including the use of automatic anomaly detection systems and satellite-based monitoring, to gather more concrete evidence.

While the lights could potentially be explained by natural phenomena or man-made objects, the possibility of UAPs continues to intrigue researchers and enthusiasts. The fact that Chris and Carl were able to capture these lights on camera adds weight to the argument that something extraordinary may be happening in Hessdalen.

Hessdalen Lights Caught on Camera! Real UAP Evidence?

The Hessdalen Lights continue to captivate the imaginations of those who witness them. Whether they are the result of UAP activity, satellite flares, or some other natural phenomenon, the lights remain an enduring mystery. The investigation by Chris Leos and Carl Crusher adds to the growing body of evidence, but also raises more questions than it answers.

For those interested in the search for UAPs or simply curious about unexplained phenomena, Hessdalen remains one of the most intriguing hotspots. As technology improves and more data is collected, the hope is that one day, the true nature of these lights will be revealed.

In the meantime, adventurers and researchers continue to flock to Hessdalen, hoping to catch a glimpse of these enigmatic flashes in the sky. Could they be UAPs? Only time, and further investigation, will tell.

UAP Research Gains FBI Attention: Nightcrawler Researchers Unveil Astonishing UFO Footage

Nightcrawler Researchers Capturing UAP with Advanced Technology

In recent years, the growing interest in Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP), commonly referred to as UFOs, has drawn attention from both the public and government agencies. Among the noteworthy contributors to this research is Nightcrawler Research, a group spearheaded by twin brothers Gerry and John Tedesco, both of whom are electrical engineers. Their work, initially rooted in studying cancer clusters on Long Island, has taken an unexpected turn toward UAP research, ultimately catching the eye of the FBI and other federal agencies.

From Cancer Clusters to UAP Investigations

The Tedescos’ foray into UAP research began in an unexpected way. Originally, the brothers were focused on analyzing cancer clusters on Long Island, prompted by the loss of friends and a desire to use their scientific expertise to investigate environmental contaminants. Equipped with a mobile laboratory filled with detection gear and cameras, they sought to uncover any correlation between pollutants and the rise of cancer cases in the region.

However, their direction shifted when the Director of National Intelligence released a landmark report on UAPs in 2021. Intrigued by the findings, Gerry and John turned their research toward the skies, leveraging their engineering skills and high-tech equipment to capture unprecedented footage of these mysterious aerial phenomena.

Cutting-Edge Technology in the UAP Field

One of the defining aspects of Nightcrawler Research’s work is their use of advanced technology. The brothers have invested a significant portion of their personal savings into acquiring state-of-the-art equipment. This includes hyperspectral cameras, which are capable of capturing light spectrums beyond what the human eye can perceive. This technology has proven invaluable in detecting and filming objects that are invisible under normal conditions, further strengthening their case for the existence of UAPs.

During their research along the flight routes near Long Island, particularly in areas where aircraft approach and depart from JFK International Airport, the Tedescos managed to record a series of astonishing encounters with UAPs. One notable example includes footage of a cylindrical object—referred to as a “Tic-Tac”—that appeared to fly perilously close to a passenger aircraft. The clarity of these images, particularly when viewed in slow motion, has caught the attention of aviation safety authorities due to its potential implications for air traffic safety.

    Gaining Federal Attention

The work of the Tedesco brothers has not gone unnoticed. Their methodical, data-driven approach has attracted the interest of not only UAP enthusiasts but also government bodies. Recently, they accomplished what few UAP researchers have managed to do: they had a peer-reviewed paper on UAPs published in a prominent scientific journal. This achievement brought their research to the forefront, and soon after, federal agencies, including the FBI and Homeland Security, began to take notice.

The government’s interest is likely tied to national security concerns, as many of the UAPs the Tedescos captured were found in close proximity to commercial aircraft. The risk these objects pose to flight safety has raised alarm bells, particularly given their unknown origins and capabilities. As more footage and data have surfaced, the FBI has begun engaging with the researchers, possibly signaling a broader federal inquiry into UAPs beyond what has been publicly acknowledged.

    The Importance of Their Work

What sets Nightcrawler Research apart is not just their impressive technological setup but also their dedication to approaching the UAP phenomenon scientifically. As trained engineers, Gerry and John Tedesco are able to scrutinize their findings with a critical eye, ensuring that what they present is backed by data. Their use of hyperspectral imaging has allowed them to film objects that otherwise would have gone unnoticed, expanding our understanding of what might be out there.

While much of the UAP conversation has been shrouded in mystery and skepticism, the Tedescos’ work brings a level of credibility and scientific rigor to the field. By documenting their findings through peer-reviewed research, they are helping to shift the dialogue surrounding UAPs from fringe theory to mainstream scientific inquiry.

    VIDEO:

'Reality Check': UAP researchers' work catches attention of FBI | Morning in America

Nightcrawler Research’s work is a testament to the power of scientific curiosity and technological innovation in exploring the unknown. What began as a local investigation into cancer clusters has transformed into a significant UAP research project, one that has captured the attention of federal agencies like the FBI. As concerns about national security and flight safety grow, it is likely that researchers like the Tedescos will play an increasingly important role in unraveling the mystery of UAPs. Their groundbreaking footage and data have already provided a clearer glimpse into the phenomenon, and as their work continues, we may soon find more answers to the questions that have puzzled humanity for decades.

The Air Force Asked This Man to Investigate UFOs—Then Pushed Him Away After What He Found

His job was to uncover secrets from the unknown. But his curiosity opened doors that the government preferred to keep closed.

Do you think the U.S. government is hiding, and possibly reverse-engineering, extraterrestrial technology? Think again. Or better yet, don’t think about it at all. Nothing to see here.

Meet J. Allen Hynek, The Astronomer Who First Classified UFO 'Project Blue Book' | Project Grudge

That’s the underlying message of a report released last month by the Department of Defense. The 63-page “Report on the Historical Record of U.S. Government Involvement with Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP)” concludes that the DoD’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) “found no evidence that any [U.S. Government] investigation, academic-sponsored research, or official review panel has confirmed that any sighting of a UAP represented extraterrestrial technology.”

The AARO, as The Guardian summarizes, is “a government office established in 2022 to detect and, as necessary, mitigate threats including ‘anomalous, unidentified space, airborne, submerged and transmedium objects’.”

This report comes on the heels of, and in contradiction to, what was arguably the most high-profile hearing on UAPs—formerly known as unidentified flying objects, or UFOs—in decades: the August 2023 testimony of “whistleblower” Dave Grusch.

In the bombshell hearing, Grusch, a former member of the Pentagon’s UAP Task Force, claimed that he had been made aware of a “multi-decade UAP crash retrieval and reverse engineering program.” But his claims were never substantiated, and while the new report never mentions Grusch by name, it does offer plausible explanations for the phenomena he described in his testimony.

This is hardly the first government report to debunk stories about little green men and their strange flying saucers. So, why do Americans keep clinging to conspiracy theories about extraterrestrial visitors? Blame science fiction, the AARO report says:

A consistent theme in popular culture involves a particularly persistent narrative that the USG—or a secretive organization within it—recovered several off-world spacecraft and extraterrestrial biological remains, that it operates a program or programs to reverse engineer the recovered technology, and that it has conspired since the 1940s to keep this effort hidden from the United States Congress and the American public.
AARO recognizes that many people sincerely hold versions of these beliefs which are based on their perception of past experiences, the experiences of others whom they trust, or media and online outlets they believe to be sources of credible and verifiable information. The proliferation of television programs, books, movies, and the vast amount of internet and social media content centered on UAP-related topics most likely has influenced the public conversation on this topic, and reinforced these beliefs within some sections of the population.

The X-Files and the internet helped guide curious people toward the fringes of ufology. But to fully understand the ongoing public skepticism regarding the government-provided explanations about aliens, we must consider the man who was once responsible for upholding these “official” stories—and examine his stunning evolution from a fellow skeptic to the world’s leading UFO advocate.

    Who Was J. Allen Hynek?

j allen hynek smiling and holding pipe

    Denver Post//Getty Images
    J. Allen Hynek, photographed in 1972.

Josef Allen Hynek, who was born on May 1, 1910, developed an interest in the cosmos following an episode of illness during his childhood. The sickness steered his curiosity away from following in the footsteps of his mother and father—a schoolteacher and cigar manufacturer, respectively—and toward the universe. Biography writes:

An introduction to the stars came after Hynek was bedridden with scarlet fever at age seven: Having run through their supply of children's books to read, his mom turned to textbooks, with a high school edition on astronomy capturing the boy’s attention.”

From an early age, Hynek’s passion for science was mixed with a penchant for mystery and a pursuit of philosophical thought. He had “an interest in more esoteric subjects, particularly the works of the Rosicrucian secret societies and hermetic philosopher Rudolf Steiner,” according to Biography.

In 1934, as a doctoral student, Hynek contributed to observations of the Nova Herculis supernova at Perkins Observatory in Ohio. By 1936, he joined Ohio State University’s Physics and Astronomy Department. His research over the next 12 years culminated in his appointment as director of the university’s McMillin Observatory.

And that’s when the U.S. government came calling—with an unusual request.

How Did J. Allen Hynek Become Involved With UFOs?

In the waning days of World War II, American fighter pilots reported seeing aircraft that were unlike any previously encountered in combat. Some described “orange, flowing lights,” while another pilot “saw a red-ish, wingless, cigar-shape object.”

These accounts reached the media, and a population exhausted by war both wondered and worried about the tales of the strange aircraft. But the occurrences were ultimately attributed to “electrostatic or electromagnetic phenomena.”

The incident involving pilot Kenneth Arnold on June 24, 1947, however, wasn’t as readily explained—and, more crucially, it wasn’t as easily dismissed. As PopMech previously summarized:

While searching for a Marine Corps C-46 transport plane, experienced pilot Kenneth Arnold diverted from his original flight path to help search the southwest slope of Mount Rainier. During the search, Arnold observed nine peculiar-looking” and possibly “completely round” objects flying in a formation that reminded him of geese. It was later estimated they were flying in excess of 1,000 miles per hour. When he reported it (and assuming they were a new type of jet or experimental military aircraft), the Army Air Corps dismissed it as a mirage or hallucination.”

When Arnold believed the Army dismissed his claims too lightly, he reached out to the press. His discussion with Bill Bequette from the East Oregonian newspaper resulted in Bequette creating the term “flying saucers” to describe the unusual objects Arnold reported seeing.

pilots looking at photo of ufo

    Bettmann//Getty Images
(L-R) Pilots E.J. Smith, Kenneth Arnold, and Ralph E. Stevens look at a photo of an unidentified flying object which they sighted while en route to Seattle, Washington in 1947.

America’s intelligence apparatus was still nascent at the time; the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) dissolved in 1945, and its successor, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), wouldn’t form until three months after Arnold reported his sighting. If there were mysterious objects flying in America’s airspace, the U.S. didn’t know where they could be coming from: The USSR? Enemies abroad? Aliens from another world?

It was crucial, then, to investigate whether these claims had any truth to them, and just as important to reassure a nervous American public that there was no cause for alarm (even if that might not have been true).

The U.S. Air Force enlisted Hynek to serve as an “astronomical consultant” for “Project Sign,” its initiative dedicated to examining the multitude of reports. Throughout Project Sign, Hynek meticulously analyzed each account of unusual aerial occurrences and categorized them accordingly. Per Biography:

There were those which were simply astronomical observations, like the appearance of a meteor, those explained by meteorology, like an unusually shaped cloud, and those which captured accounts of man-made objects, like balloons. That left about 20 percent with no clear explanation...”

Hynek’s later writings suggest that he had hoped for additional investigations to address the questions posed by the remaining 20 percent of unexplained cases. However, the U.S. government, apprehensive about public fears during the Cold War and the potential for those fears to be manipulated, preferred to make such questions go away. And so, Project Sign evolved into “Project Grudge.”

“The staff,” the Report on the Historical Record of U.S. Government Involvement with Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena summarizes, “especially those who seemed to lean towards belief in the ‘interplanetary’ origin of UFOs, were reportedly purged from the organization.”

Project Grudge released only one report, in August 1949. “There is no evidence that objects reported upon are the result of an advanced scientific foreign development; and, therefore they constitute no direct threat to the national security,” the report determined. It concluded by recommending that “the investigation and study of reports of unidentified flying objects be reduced in scope.”

Hynek, disillusioned with the direction the investigations took, characterized Project Grudge as a “public relations campaign.”

    What Was Project Blue Book?

Project Grudge’s conclusions failed to quell concerns about what people now referred to as “unidentified flying objects,” or UFOs. So the Air Force resumed its investigations once more, this time in its most famous form: “Project Blue Book.”

The Air Force again brought in Hynek for Project Blue Book, permitting him to actually conduct field investigations into these phenomena himself. Hynek’s perspective on the extraterrestrial theories regarding the unexplained sightings evolved from his days with Project Sign. As Biography observes:

While he had harbored plenty of skepticism the first time around, he found his assumptions challenged by the rational recollections of witnesses, and began thinking about the legitimate scientific study of these 'Unidentified Flying Objects' or 'UFOs.'”

However, Hynek quickly realized that he was seen more as an instrument to dismiss alien speculation than as a scientist tasked with exploring such possibilities. As Biography notes, “By the 1960s, Hynek found himself in conflict with the restrictive supervision of the Air Force.”

One particularly embarrassing incident for Hynek came in 1966, when he was sent to investigate “reports of unusual lights in separate areas of Michigan over successive nights.” Hurried to provide an explanation and pressed to steer clear of extraterrestrial theories, Hynek was compelled to suggest publicly that the sightings might be attributed to “swamp gas.”

The term “swamp gas” became a proto-meme of the mid-60s, and House Minority Leader (and future president) Gerald Ford demanded answers for the seemingly shoddy investigation. “Called to testify,” Biography notes, “Hynek used the occasion to argue for an extensive, transparent study of UFOs.”

Hynek broke from the directives of the Air Force, and just three years later, Project Blue Book was completely terminated. But that didn’t stop the astronomer.

What Did J. Allen Hynek Do After Project Blue Book?

Freed from the constraints of the Air Force, Hynek initiated a public campaign to promote the rigorous scientific investigation of what he called “ufology.” This effort first materialized as his 1972 book, The UFO Experience: A Scientific Inquiry.

Hynek wrote about his philosophy on the study of UFOs, his observations from decades working on Project Sign and Project Blue Book, and his scale for classifying UFO sightings, which involved both distant and close encounters. He classified distant observations as either “nocturnal lights,” “daylight discs,” or for those not seen directly by human eyes, “radar/visuals.”

The other observations—“close encounters”—also broke down into three categories. HISTORY summarizes:

Close Encounters of the First Kind meant UFOs seen at a close enough range to make out some details. In a Close Encounter of the Second Kind, the UFO had a physical effect, such as scorching trees, frightening animals or causing car motors to suddenly conk out. In Close Encounters of the Third Kind, witnesses reported seeing occupants in or near a UFO.

That final category inspired the title of the classic 1977 Steven Spielberg film, Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Hynek was reportedly paid for the use of the title and for his role as a consultant on the movie, and he also made a brief appearance in the Best Picture nominee. Hynek also appeared on shows like “The Dick Cavett Show” and “In Search Of...,” spoke on the university lecture circuit, and even presented on UFOs to the United Nations. His life’s work inspired a two-season TV series that aired in the 2010s, aptly named Project Blue Book.

Crucially, while Hynek openly discussed the limitations he faced during his tenure with the Air Force and was forthright about its apparent lack of genuine interest in investigating the possibility of alien encounters, his written work never fully embraced conspiracy theories. That wouldn’t be true for those who came after him.

    J. Allen Hynek: the Man behind UFO "Project Blue Book"

What Is J. Allen Hynek’s UFO Legacy?

In 1986, the year Hynek died, conspiracy theorist George C. Andrews published Extra-Terrestrials Among Usa book that incorporated ideas of ufology into existing ideas of government conspiracies and secret organizations. In Andrews’ grand vision of a global conspiracy, he claimed extraterrestrials were behind the killing of President John F. Kennedy.

In 1991, conspiracy theorist Bill Cooper incorporated Andrews’ theories into his manifesto, Behold a Pale Horse, one of the more widely read books of fringe political conspiracies. Where Hynek kept his speculations scientific, The New Republic noted that Cooper’s co-opting of ufology was “...the tip of a spear asserting that the number one thing we had to fear was not little green men, but the government that colluded with them, appropriating their technology against us.”

Hynek’s legacy risks being overshadowed by the extreme and politically charged theories of self-proclaimed ufologists that emerged in his wake. His ambition was for ufology to gain recognition as a legitimate scientific field; however, the proliferation of conspiracy theories that came after him provided the government with further justification to dismiss the subject entirely.

The new AARO report states that during the time Hynek was working with Project Blue Book, “about 75 percent of Americans trusted the [US government] ‘to do the right thing almost always or most of the time.’” But, the report notes, since 2007, that number has never risen above 30 percent. “This lack of trust probably has contributed to the belief held by some subset of the U.S. population that the USG has not been truthful regarding knowledge of extraterrestrial craft.”

Ultimately, the Air Force’s efforts to stifle Hynek—pressuring him to offer the public standard responses to questions he wasn’t even allowed to ask—appears to have backfired.

Ironically, the Air Force’s attempts to quiet suspicions only fueled them, leading to more conspiracy theories and distrust. People came to believe that the government was hiding the truth, contrary to Hynek’s actual revelation: that, in reality, the people at the top may not care much about finding the answers after all.

    VIDEO:

Could some craters on asteroids be the result of alien mining activities?

Where do asteroids and planets get all those craters? Countless small circular craters, plus almost always a few that look like massive killers. Even more confusing is that these craters are at a perfect 90º angle, as if an electric arc had run across the surface.

According to ThunderboltsProject, the Electric Universe (EU) model, the scars observed on asteroids are caused by electric arcs which cut surface depressions, scoop out material, accelerate it into space, then leave behind clean-cut geological relief.
This theory is supported by Electric Discharge Machining (EDM), a process we use every day to shape materials with electric arcs, producing similar clean-cut effects.
This brings us to the following hypothesis: Could it be that, instead of craters on asteroids being formed solely by natural space phenomena, that all these craters at a perfect 90º angle with clean-cut geological relief are the result of asteroid mining originated by alien races who use advanced electric arc/laser technology by extracting raw minerals they urgently need for use on their planet or for in-space manufacturing?
Asteroids vary greatly in composition, ranging from those rich in volatile substances to those composed of metals like gold, silver, platinum, cobalt, and palladium, alongside more common elements such as iron and nickel. This makes them potential treasure troves of valuable resources.
For us as Earthlings, asteroid mining is a technology in its earliest stages and requires significant advances in robotic technology before asteroid mining becomes a reality, however, if more advanced civilizations exist elsewhere in the universe, it's quite plausible that some of them have already turned to asteroid mining long ago.
Could their efforts be leaving behind the very craters on asteroids we observe today?

In Arizona, US, residents were left puzzled after spotting an unidentified blue object floating across the sky, reigniting discussions and theories about UFOs. Multiple witnesses observed the object, which quickly became a hot topic of discussion. With UFO sightings on the rise, the incident has captured the attention of both researchers and the general public, who are eager to know the mysteries behind these strange events. Following the sightings, local authorities and experts were flooded with inquiries, yet no clear explanation has been provided to the public.

The sighting was initially reported by a Scottsdale resident who was out for an evening walk with their dog. Describing the object as a luminous cigar shaped UFO, the object moved in an unusual manner, going up and down without making any sound. Witnesses reported the UFO hovered in the night sky for over 30 minutes.

As per the Instagram page, the witness stated, “Filmed on my iPhone 13 Pro, I was taking my dog for a walk back to my apartment and saw a weird blue light. It looked like a rope hanging in the sky and going up and down. It was taller than the planes passing by, we may have an airport nearby, so planes are very common. He hung up and down for 30 minutes and then fell, I lost my sight.” Meanwhile, sharing the video, the page wrote, “F-15 Fighter flying close to a UFO in Scottsdale, Arizona.”

While some social media users were intrigued by the mysterious blue object, others chose to add humour into the situation. A user asked, “F15 Fighter flying at commercial jet speed? How can you distinguish the airplane model from so far away that you can’t even zoom in?”

Another recommended that the blue object looked like a “Balloon.”

An individual wrote, “Very rare UFO worm type.”

“After this new series the 3 Bodies Problem I got fleas behind my ear,” a comment read.

Another wrote, “It’s Luke’s lightsaber, he threw it out so hard, just went through here in my town.”

A user joked, “It’s Goku in blue form.”

According to reports from 12 News, Arizona ranks among the top states in the US for UFO sightings, based on data from the National UFO Reporting Center. Since 1974, the organisation has collected information from around the globe regarding unidentified lights and objects observed in the sky. Among the 170,000 reports, nearly 5,000 originated from Arizona alone. Many of these cases were registered by pilots or military personnel. However, none could be compared to the Phoenix Lights. On March 13, 1997, a majority of Phoenix residents saw lights shaped like a V in the sky, till now there’s no explanation regarding the incident.

Unveiling the Truth: The Roswell Alien Autopsy – Fact or Fiction?

Unveiling the Truth: The Roswell Alien Autopsy – Fact or Fiction?

The Roswell Incident of 1947 remains one of the most enduring mysteries in UFO lore. Central to this enigma is the so-called alien autopsy footage that captivated millions across the globe with its shocking images of extraterrestrial bodies. For decades, conspiracy theorists, skeptics, and believers have debated the authenticity of the footage, sparking curiosity, research, and government scrutiny. However, in recent years, new revelations and leaked documents have re-opened the debate about whether the footage is genuine or a sophisticated hoax.

A Brief History of the Roswell Incident

On July 8, 1947, headlines around the world reported the discovery of a “flying disc” in Roswell, New Mexico. Initial excitement quickly turned into speculation as the U.S. military retracted their statement, claiming the debris was merely from a weather balloon. This sudden shift in narrative only fueled suspicion, leading to numerous theories that the military had found and was covering up evidence of an extraterrestrial crash.

Years later, in 1995, the so-called alien autopsy footage was released to the public by British entrepreneur Ray Santilli. The grainy black-and-white footage appeared to show an autopsy being performed on an alien body, presumably from the Roswell crash. The footage reignited global interest in UFOs, and the debate over its authenticity has never truly subsided.

    The Controversy Surrounding the Footage

For years, Ray Santilli adamantly defended the authenticity of the alien autopsy footage. According to Santilli, the film was genuine but had deteriorated over time. As a result, he claimed that some sections of the footage were “restored,” adding layers of confusion about its credibility. In 2006, Santilli admitted that much of the footage was a recreation based on the degraded original film, though he maintained that key elements were authentic.

This admission raised more questions than it answered. Why would there be two versions of the autopsy footage? If Santilli’s restoration was akin to restoring a historical painting, why were two films necessary? Skeptics quickly jumped on these inconsistencies, questioning whether the entire film was a fabricated hoax designed to capitalize on the public’s fascination with UFOs.

The Role of UFO Researchers and Skeptics

Even in the face of mounting skepticism, some researchers and believers remained convinced that there was more to the Roswell incident than met the eye. UFO researcher Philip Mantle, who had long investigated the alien autopsy footage, pointed out that despite claims of a hoax, many details surrounding the film still remain unexplained. According to Mantle, efforts to debunk the footage, including investigations by major television networks, had not definitively disproven its authenticity.

On the other hand, critics of the alien autopsy film pointed out the discrepancies in Santilli’s story over the years. As more inconsistencies emerged, particularly in relation to Santilli’s handling of the film’s authenticity, doubts increased. Kodak, the company whose film stock was allegedly used, offered to analyze the footage to verify its age, but Santilli never followed through. This further fueled the narrative that the footage was likely a hoax, driven by financial gain.

Government Involvement and the UFO Community

An additional layer to the Roswell story involves government secrecy. The U.S. military’s changing explanations for the crash have led many to believe that a cover-up has been in place since 1947. Initially described as a flying disc, the object was later dismissed as a weather balloon, and then as part of a top-secret project known as “Project Mogul.” This inconsistency has only strengthened suspicions among UFO researchers that the truth about Roswell has yet to be fully revealed.

The release of the alien autopsy footage in the 1990s further complicated matters. Researchers like Robert Bigelow, an American businessman and long-time advocate of UFO research, became deeply involved in examining the film. His organization, the National Institute for Discovery Sciences, conducted studies and employed scientists to investigate the UFO phenomenon, though no definitive conclusion about the alien autopsy footage was reached.

Despite the many doubts about the footage’s authenticity, some believers insist that Santilli’s film contains at least some elements of truth. They argue that if the footage were entirely fake, why have there been so many efforts to discredit it? Supporters of Santilli’s claims point to incidents like the mysterious burglary of his office as evidence that shadowy forces were at work to suppress the truth.

Impact on Popular Culture and the Ongoing Debate

Regardless of its authenticity, the alien autopsy footage has become a staple of popular culture. It has appeared in episodes of The X-FilesThe Simpsons, and Seinfeld, and has even been recreated in museums around the world. The footage’s impact on the public’s perception of UFOs has been profound, raising awareness and interest in UFO phenomena across generations.

Interestingly, while the autopsy film itself remains in question, it has not damaged the credibility of the broader Roswell story. If anything, the film has kept the incident alive in public consciousness. Even as skeptics dismiss the footage as a hoax, the core mystery of what happened at Roswell in 1947 remains unsolved.

    VIDEO:

The alien autopsy footage continues to fascinate, provoke debate, and fuel conspiracy theories. The footage’s origin may be in dispute, but one thing is clear: it has become an inseparable part of the Roswell mythos. As new leaks and documents emerge, the truth behind the alien autopsy may one day come to light, though for now, the mystery lingers.

In the end, whether the footage is real or fake, the allure of the unknown continues to capture the imagination. The Roswell Incident remains one of the most compelling UFO mysteries in history, and the alien autopsy footage—whether a clever hoax or a glimpse into extraterrestrial life—will undoubtedly remain part of that legacy for years to come.

What Really Happened at the Pentagon’s Once-Hidden UFO Office?

An office in the Pentagon investigated UFOs—and the paranormal—over a decade ago, segueing into a long saga leading to Congressional hearings and breathless news stories today. But the real story looks more like former defense officials pushing their personal mythology, rather than any cover-up of aliens

Historical photograph of The Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia.

    lassicStock/Alamy Stock Photo

After a long hiatus of systematic U.S. government–affiliated investigations into UFOs, a Pentagon office quietly resumed such efforts in 2008. Called the Advanced Aerospace Weapon Systems Applications Program (AAWSAP), it was funded to the tune of $22 million in total. The life—and cancellation four years later—of this Defense Intelligence Agency program has featured in congressional hearings, UFO “whistleblower” claims and renewed public uproar about aliens. But the real story is more sordid than sensational.

In 2022 the U.S. Department of Defense established the brand-new and separate All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) to investigate military reports of UFOs, now called unidentified anomalous phenomena, or UAP. Currently AARO offers a unique chance for the government to get this UFO thing right once and for all—but not in quite the way that more hard-line alien believers might wish.

The new office has its hands full. Last year congressional hearings heard claims of alien technology recoveries and a supposed decades-long cover-up of ET’s presence on Earth. Such assertions fill the new book Imminent: Inside the Pentagon’s Hunt for UFOs, by former military counterintelligence officer Luis Elizondo, attracting renewed notice among podcasters and serious news outlets alike.

Investigating these unverifiable fables about aliens should be scrapped as a fool’s errand for AARO, which earlier this year released a historical review demolishing this long-running conspiracy theory. The office’s real value, from a technical standpoint, lies in resolving UFO sighting reports with the very latest technology and tools, supplementing time-honored fact-checking and investigation, and showing how UFOs can be tracked and resolved in real time using high-tech sensors, rather than relying on the suboptimal witness testimonials that fill bookshelves and cable-news specials.

Government-themed conspiracy theories have been part of the UFO milieu for decades, but recent testimonies by “whistleblowers” to congressional committees have given these accounts a hitherto unparalleled air of authenticity. Far from being a scientific sea change, however, as longtime scholars of UFO claims we regard them as having elements closer to religion, with the same core group of advocates—including some former AAWSAP insiders—pushing the “nonhuman intelligence” narrative of hidden aliens or interdimensional beings.

AAWSAP was officially meant to research future aerospace threats but was a de facto UFO/paranormal investigation effort, a fact affirmed in the AARO historical report. Controversy has surrounded the office since the publication of a credulous 2017 New York Times article identified it by the moniker “Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program” (AATIP). The acronym soup confusion regarding the name has been exacerbated by Elizondo, who co-opted the AATIP label for his own, informal follow-on effort at the Pentagon after AAWSAP’s termination in 2012.

AAWSAP’s output included 38 “Defense Intelligence Reference Documents” produced by scientists contracted by mogul and UFO enthusiast Robert Bigelow, along with other reports described in two books. The latter reports reference as-yet unreleased databases of international UFO cases, investigations and findings from the “spooky” Skinwalker Ranch in Utah once owned by Bigelow, and monthly reports supposedly delivered to the DIA, along with a 494-page “10 Month Report” replete with charts, graphs and findings. There are good reasons to harbor doubts about these reports’ quality and objectivity.

Elizondo’s effort, despite his countless mass media and podcast appearances, has yielded no publicly accessed findings or deliverables proving any claims about a UFO cover-up. These may come to light, but “AARO assesses that the inaccurate claim that the USG [U.S. government] is reverse-engineering extraterrestrial technology and is hiding it from Congress is, in large part, the result of circular reporting from a group of individuals who believe this to be the case, despite a lack of evidence,” that office concluded in its recent report.

This entire saga shows how pseudoscientific thinking can metastasize in a positive feedback loop, ensnaring not only scientists with paranormal inclinations but also government officials. This was bemoaned by the former head of AARO, Sean Kirkpatrick, who remarked that these officials are tasked with matters of national urgency—a responsibility necessitating a mindset committed to objective investigation and analysis. Some of these officials are on the record casting AARO as part of the “cover-up.” Indeed, the UFO belief system has long ago morphed into a type of faith requiring no evidence.

The fact that officials harboring evidence-deficient beliefs regarding extraterrestrials and “high strangeness” (a term first popularized in the early 1970s by ufologists to describe certain bizarre and seemingly absurd elements of some UFO and “alien” encounters) are entrusted with national security matters should give one pause. America’s adversaries, to the extent that they are paying attention to the UFO mess, might well regard it as yet another avenue to undermine American institutions—somewhat reflecting a CIA panel’s 1953 warning about potential Soviet exploitation of the genre.

On a more positive note, ufology is now in vogue among historians keen to understand the mythical nature of the problem and how it relates to historical waves of aerial phenomena reports. Because of how modern media, and especially now digital media, magnify the voices of breathless advocates, sundry frauds and scientists with a penchant for the paranormal, the UFO phenomenon from 1947 onward has acquired much greater gravitas than prior scares and waves, some of which predate it by centuries.

Many serious people dismiss UFOs as a fringe interest or a pop culture distraction. Yes, they are. Yet we maintain, along with an increasing number of scholars, that there is much to be learned from studying UFO sightings, flaps and waves. While our own view is that UFOs, or UAP, emphatically do not represent any truly anomalous physical phenomena such as an extraterrestrial presence, this nevertheless does not consign ufology to insignificance. We should explore its meaning rather than ceding it to sensationalistic advocates employing shoddy methodologies and pushing quasi-religious, otherworldly stories. AARO and academia are thus tasked with an important responsibility that could yield original and fascinating developments into how and why people interpret and react to things they see in the sky.

First Look At Mystery Object Shot Down Over Canada By F-22 Raptor Last Year

Canadian authorities have released an image of an unidentified object that was shot down over the country's Yukon Territory by a U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor stealth fighter in February 2023.

Canadian authorities have released an image of an unidentified object that was shot down over the country's Yukon Territory by a U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor stealth fighter in February 2023.

Canadian authorities have released an image of an unidentified object that was shot  by a U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor stealth fighter in February 2023. This is the first image of any of a trio of still-unidentified objects that were downed over the United States and Canada that month, details about which remain scant. The new disclosure continues to raise more questions about those incidents given that the picture appears to have been declassified within days of the shootdown, but was then withheld from release until now.

Canada’s CTV News first published the image of what is also known as Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) 23, seen at the top of this story and below, along with an accompanying string of partially redacted internal emails from members of the Canadian armed forces earlier today. UAP is the term U.S., Canadian, and other authorities currently use to refer to what have been commonly described as unidentified flying objects (UFOs) in the past. The outlet said it independently verified the records after recieving them from an unnamed source who had obtained them via an Access to Information request. Canada’s Access to Information Act is similar in many respects to the U.S. Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), but the former is only accessible to Canadian citizens.

UAP 23 was downed over the Yukon on February 11, 2023. This came two days after another unidentified object, also known as UAP 20, was shot down in U.S. airspace off the northern coast of Alaska. A shootdown of a third unidentified object as it passed over Lake Huron came on February 12. This all followed U.S. and Canadian authorities tracking a Chinese spy balloon passing through their airspace for days before deciding to destroy it as it soared out over the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of South Carolina on February 4.

The very low-resolution and grainy image we now have of UAP 23 shows a broadly doughnut-like shape with an open center, as well as an apparent notch or gap in its circumference on one side. It is possible that what is seen is light reflecting only from certain parts and that what is visible is not truly representative of its full shape.

The quality of the picture, which CTV News notes “appears to be a photocopy of an email printout,” makes it impossible to discern any definitive details. “The image appears to have been taken from an aircraft below it, although that has not been confirmed,” CTV News‘ report adds.

“The best description we have is: Visual – a cylindrical object. The top quarter is metallic, remainder white. 20 foot wire hanging below with a package of some sort suspended from it,” one of the associated emails, dated February 11, 2023, says. Looking at the released picture again with this description in hand it looks like it might show a balloon catching the sun with a payload underneath.

At the time, Canadian authorities described what had been shot down over the Yukon as a “small, cylindrical object.”

“It is unknown whether it [UAP 23] poses an armed threat or has intelligence collection capabilities,” according to a memo provided to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on February 15, 2023, says. “The area in which the impact [after shootdown] occurred is a known (caribou) migration route, which opens the possibility of future accidental discovery by Indigenous hunters.”

CTV News published the heavily redacted document, which it also received from an unnamed source who obtained it first via an Access to Information request, in September 2023. The release of the memo had already raised new and still largely unanswered questions about what Canadian and U.S. authorities may or may not know about the trio of downed objects, as well as what other UAPs had been monitored in either country’s airspace before then, as you can read more about here.

No remains of any of the three still-unidentified objects brought down in February 2023 are known to have been recovered. The owners and/or operators of those objects, and whatever their purposes might have been, remain unknown, at least publicly. Past reports have suggested UAP 23, specifically, may have been a so-called “pico” balloon often launched by amateur radio enthusiasts.

U.S. officials subsequently said that the trio of objects appeared to be benign, which looks to have been a direct factor in withholding the image of UAP 23 from the public. The unredacted portions of the newly disclosed Emails, which you can find here, show a clear push between February 11 and February 15, 2023, including from then-Canadian Chief of the Defense Staff Gen. Wayne Eyre, to not only declassify the image, but also proactively release it, including on social media. However, by the end of February 15, the emails have taken a decidedly different tone.

“Should the image be released, it would be via the CAF [Canadian Armed Forces] social media accounts,” Taylor Paxton, then-acting Assistant Deputy Minister for Public Affairs with Canada’s Department of National Defense, writes in one Email. “Given the current public environment and statements related to the object being benign, releasing the image may create more questions/confusion, regardless of the text that will accompany the post.”

Major Doug Keirstead, Public Affairs Officer to Chief of the Defense Staff, subsequently sent another Email to his boss, Gen. Eyre, reiterating advice from acting Assistant Deputy Minister Taylor, as well as others, to hold off on releasing the image “pending U.S. engagement.”

The War Zone has reached out to the U.S. Office of the Secretary of Defense and the U.S.-Canadian North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) for more information.

If the goal behind not releasing this image and any others from the Febraury 2023 shootdowns was to avoid confusion and speculation, it only appears to have had the opposite impact. The War Zone, along with others, has tried to obtain imagery from these incidents from the U.S. side on multiple occasions to no avail and we have called into question the puzzling optics of not doing so in the past.

Amazing how quickly they declassified the MQ-9's MTS-B sensor footage of the Su-27 collision but we still haven't even gotten a single still frame of the 3 objects NORAD shot down over North America during the great balloon hunt.

    Quite telling.

    Tyler Rogoway (@Aviation_Intel) March 16, 2023

Even before February 2023, many members of Congress in the United States with access to classified information had criticized and otherwise called into question the U.S. military’s attitude towards UAP issues, broadly. The Department of Defense did establish an All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) in 2022 as a focal point for tracking and investigating all things UAP, but significant questions have been raised since about its resourcing and authorities. There have also been as yet unsubstantiated accusations of AARO and others within the U.S. government engaging in more active coverups.

“Data release and footage is prioritized based on the geopolitical environment at the time,” then-head of AARO Sean Kirkpatrick said in response to a question from The War Zone about why imagery from the February shootdowns had not been released at a press briefing in October 2023. “So engagements with Chinese fighters, Russian fighters have a much larger priority in getting it through the review process or declassification than UAPs or other similar engagements.”

“We are however, working through those processes, which all exist and we’ve got several of them actually already declassified and ready to update on our website [which] we’ll be doing on the next update to the website,” Kirkpatrick, who left AARO in December 2023, added at that time. “And we’re putting them out as quickly as we can get them through their proper steps.”

In a report released earlier this year, the Department of Defense’s own Office of the Inspector General (DODIG) went so far as to warn that a continued “lack of a comprehensive, coordinated approach to address” UAP issues “may pose a threat to military forces and national security.” The War Zone has repeatedly highlighted the significant evidence that a substantial number of UAP sightings are not only explainable, but are likely droneshigh-altitude balloons, and other uncrewed aerial assets that hostile actors are using to gather intelligence on critical capabilities and installations in and round the United States.

A more recent Congressional effort to push for more UAP transparency through an amendment to the annual defense policy bill, or National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), for the 2025 Fiscal Year looks to have collapsed, at least for now.

It will be interesting now to see whether or not the Canadian government’s decision to release the image of UAP 23, such as it is, and the accompanying emails, will lead to further disclosures about the February 2023 shootdowns by that country or the United States.

Image of Mysterious Object Shot Down Over Yukon Finally Released

    yukon ufo

In September 2024, a long-anticipated image of the mysterious object shot down over Yukon, Canada, in February 2023 was obtained by CTVNews.ca through a freedom of information request. The image, which has sparked significant public interest, shows a grainy, black-and-white representation of the object that was downed by a U.S. F-22 fighter jet after it crossed into Canadian airspace.

The object in question was one of three unidentified aerial objects shot down over North America within a short period, following the more widely reported downing of a Chinese surveillance balloon earlier that month. The object shot down over Yukon has been described in official documents as a “cylindrical” or “metallic” object with a tethered payload below it, although details have remained scarce, fueling speculation and public curiosity.

    The Incident

The sequence of events leading to the downing of the object began when NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) tracked the unidentified object as it entered North American airspace. After moving through Alaskan airspace, the object entered Canadian territory on February 11, 2023, prompting swift action from NORAD. Following discussions between Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the Canadian Defence Minister, and U.S. authorities, the order to engage was issued.

At 15:41 Eastern Time, the object was shot down over the Yukon, and Canadian military personnel, in coordination with the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police), were deployed to recover the debris. However, due to challenging winter conditions in the remote and mountainous region, the recovery mission was ultimately called off just days later.

    Description of the Object

Documents obtained by CTVNews.ca revealed some details about the object. In a memo dated February 11, 2023, a Canadian brigadier-general described the object as cylindrical, with a metallic upper portion and a long wire hanging beneath it, supporting a suspended package. Some officials speculated that it could be a balloon with a tethered payload, similar to other unidentified aerial objects encountered during that period.

Interestingly, these objects, including the one shot down over the Yukon, were described as being much smaller than the towering Chinese surveillance balloon that had drawn global attention just days before. Although there was much speculation about the nature of the Yukon object, U.S. President Joe Biden later stated that these unidentified objects were likely private or research balloons and posed no significant threat.

    The Image and Public Reaction

The image obtained by CTVNews.ca, which was part of a heavily redacted set of documents, appears to be a low-resolution photocopy, making it difficult to discern specific details. Despite being cleared for public release shortly after the incident, the image was withheld due to concerns from public affairs officials, who believed its release could raise more questions than it answered. The image was discussed internally, with some military officials advocating for its release on social media. However, the public release was delayed, partly due to the lack of clarity in the image and its potential to fuel further speculation.

This image has now been made public, and while it adds a visual element to the mystery, it does little to clear up the questions surrounding the object’s origin or purpose. The shape of the object in the image has drawn comparisons to a balloon, with a horseshoe or crescent-like shape visible, but the lack of detail makes definitive conclusions difficult.

    Secrecy and Speculation

The secrecy surrounding the object, its brief tracking, and the lack of debris recovery have all contributed to an air of mystery and speculation. While officials have publicly stated that the object posed no significant threat, the minimal information provided has led to various conspiracy theories and concerns about North American air defense vulnerabilities.

Experts have suggested that the U.S. and Canadian governments’ hesitation to release more information could be due to the sensitive nature of NORAD operations and a reluctance to disclose potential defense weaknesses. Iain Boyd, the director of the Center for National Security Initiatives at the University of Colorado, noted that withholding details may reflect concerns about how adversaries could exploit knowledge of such incidents.

Broader Context of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena

The Yukon object, referred to as “UAP 23” in some documents (with UAP standing for Unidentified Aerial Phenomena), was the 23rd such object tracked over North America in early 2023. The term UAP has largely replaced “UFO” (Unidentified Flying Object) in official circles, reflecting the shift toward a more scientific and data-driven approach to such sightings.

The February 2023 incidents of unidentified aerial objects prompted further scrutiny of UAPs by governments around the world. In Canada, the Sky Canada Project, led by the Office of the Chief Science Advisor, is expected to release its own report on UAPs later this year, as public interest in such phenomena continues to grow. In the U.S., the Pentagon and NASA have been more transparent about their investigations into UAPs, signaling a shift toward more open dialogue on the issue.

The release of the Yukon object’s image provides a glimpse into one of the more mysterious defense incidents of 2023. While the image adds to the body of evidence surrounding the event, the low quality and lack of detail leave many questions unanswered. As investigations into UAPs continue on both sides of the border, the public remains eager for further information about these objects and the implications they may have for air defense systems and international security.

The ancient Greeks knew Ceto as a sea goddess, cited by the History Cooperative as having power over monsters from the deep. But the modern-day incarnation might end up being better known for the power of ocean waves.

That's because Carnegie Clean Energy's version of CETO is a sea-based contraption that can turn wave power into grid-ready electricity, according to the Australian firm.

Wave-energy tech isn't new. Other iterations include buoy and raft designs. CETO is a submerged, flying saucer-shaped unit, according to CleanTechnica.

The report noted that Carnegie received a $1.3 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy in January to test marine-based energy production. Now, a Carnegie subsidiary has approval to place CETOs off the Spanish coast, and company leaders are pursuing various certifications to pave the way for expansion, all per CleanTechnica.

"By aligning CETO with international standards, the company is moving toward wider adoption of the technology and a future where wave energy is a competitive solution in our global energy mix," Carnegie CTO Alexandre Pichard said in the story.

CETO works with a fairly simple concept. Waves move in a circular motion, and CETO tracks and captures the energy generated by the movement. As the saucer-shaped unit rocks with the moving water, belts inside turn generators to make electricity. Artificial intelligence is used to help manage underwater operations, all per a video clip provided by Carnegie.

What's more, the unit can provide air-pollution-free electricity 24/7, even in stormy waters. CETO simply submerges below the turbulence to continue its function. The tech has been proven during "tens of thousands" of testing hours, according to the company.

It's part of a global renewable energy switchover leveraging abundant sun, wind, and waves. The United Nations reports that about 29% of the world's electricity comes from renewables.

Wave energy has serious potential, too, with the U.S. Department of Energy estimating that kinetic waves could provide around 60% of the nation's electricity demand, as CleanTechnica observed.

If fascinating programs from other energy developers reach full vision, captured wave and wind power at sea could be collected at offshore artificial "energy islands" and efficiently sent to the coast.

Importantly, the breakthroughs can help reduce the production of planet-warming air pollution, which NASA has linked to marine heat waves. The hotter water can harm coral and other sea life, according to the experts.

Inspired inlanders can help to cut pollution with some simple changes around the house. Cleaning the lint out of filters on washers, dryers, and other appliances can save you 10% on the cost to run them, while also removing a fire hazard. Importantly, the machines will then use less energy, producing less heat-trapping fumes.

For CETO's part, its developers are touting a scalable, modular design. Interestingly, the company-provided details even list a desalination ability.

Now, Carnegie seems poised to take CETO beyond myth, working toward a world powered by the "consistent rhythm of the sea," as the clip's narrator puts it.

Chilling video shows' 'horseshoe-shaped' UFO defying laws of physics after photo of similar craft shot down over Yukon is declassified

UFO enthusiasts are attempting to draw parallels between a old video that appears to show a flying aircraft zooming through the clouds and the recently declassified image of the UFO that was shot down near Alaska last year.

The photo shows a seemingly glowing horse shoe-shaped object with ill-defined edges over the Yukon territory in northwest Canada on February 11, 2023.

An internal email obtained by CTVNews had a Canadian brigadier-general describing it as such: 'Top quarter is metallic, remainder white. 20-foot wire hanging below with a package of some sort suspended from it.'

It was shot down by a US Air Force F-22 stealth fighter on a joint mission with the Canadian Armed Forces following the now infamous Chinese spy balloon drama that made international news that month.

A former officer with the Royal Canadian Air Force told DailyMail.com that based on his conversations with three active-duty staff who were involved with the shootdown, the object was a balloon similar to the Chinese craft shot down days earlier.

Nonetheless, a user on Reddit said they were able to stabilize a different UFO video from over 12 years ago, claiming it is similar to the object that was shot down.

'I recently stabilized this footage, which has drawn interesting comparisons to the “horseshoe” object reportedly shot down over the Yukon in 2023,' the poster wrote. 'After stabilizing the video, the object’s crescent or horseshoe shape becomes much clearer, along with its curious flight dynamics.'

They said the stabilization was done with Adobe After Effects and Premiere, software packages for editing motion graphics and video.

The video was originally posted by a YouTube channel called 'xxxdonutzxxx', which claimed the footage was shot over Busan, South Korea.

The reactions to the stabilized footage were all over the place, with some people showing their excitement and others showing skepticism.

'A better way to avoid confusion would be to publish a color, high-res photo or video, as they did with that jet intercept and the Chinese spy balloon. Amazing how transparency actually works,' one user wrote.

Another took issue with the entire idea that aliens are flying around in spacecrafts that always seem to look different in every UFO video.

They wrote: 'Serious question; why does every UFO look different? Do aliens hate mass production? Have they never heard of cost reduction through standardization? What does that say about their economy? Are they idiots?'

Those who are more inclined to believe aliens are out there offered a number of explanations for this. There could many many different alien races with different vehicles, some said. Others thought their space crafts could probably shape shift.

Elsewhere on social media, people are claiming all of the videos on the now abandoned 'xxxdonutzxxx' are fake and were made by two CG artists named Nico and Marco Kaschuba.

A person posted an alleged UFO sighting in Monument Valley, Arizona, from the 'xxxdonutzxxx' channel to a UFO forum on April 5, 2012.

At the bottom of the post, there is a copyright that belongs to 'Kaschuba Ufology.'

DailyMail.com approached Marco Kaschuba for comment, but he didn't immediately respond.

‘Jellyfish’ UAP video is likely the 'real deal': UFO expert | Banfield

An image of a UFO that was shot down by a U.S. fighter jet over Canada last year was released Wednesday.

The blurry photo, which appears to be a photocopy of an email printout, of the unidentified cylindrical object was captured as it hovered in the air in February 2023, days before it was shot down over Canada's Yukon Territory, which borders Alaska, according to CTVNews.

The news outlet obtained the image through an information request from Canada’s Department of National Defence.

The object initially drifted from Alaska into Canadian airspace. The North American Aerospace Defense Command first detected the "high-altitude airborne object" flying at about 40,000 feet over Alaska and scrambled jets to monitor it.

It was shot down on Feb. 11, 2023, and was one of three aerial objects brought down that month after the downing of a Chinese surveillance balloon days earlier.

All three objects were smaller than the Chinese spy balloon that drifted from Alaska across the U.S. before it was shot down off the coast of South Carolina on Feb. 4, 2023.

"Yesterday afternoon, I also spoke with President Biden and confirmed together that we will continue to do everything necessary to protect the sovereignty of our shared North American airspace but also to do everything necessary to keep our citizens safe," Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said at the time.

Biden later said the three objects were not related to the Chinese spy craft incident.

The image of the UFO was initially declassified in Canada and approved for public release before the acting assistant deputy minister for public affairs questioned whether the public should be allowed to view it, according to the news outlet.

"Should the image be released, it would be via the [Canadian armed forces] social media accounts," the official wrote in an internal email. "Given the current public environment and statements related to the object being benign, releasing the image may create more questions/confusion, regardless of the text that will accompany the post."
