Unidentified Aerial Phenomena sightings were reported over: Alaska, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, and Washington.

Sightings of UFOs were also reported in Canada, Hungary, Japan, United Kingdom, and Zaire.

The purpose of these files is to report the UFO eyewitness and photo/video evidence that occurs on a daily basis around the world and in space. These Files assume that extraterrestrial intelligent life not only exists, but my hypothesis is that the over a thousand UFOs reported each month represent technologically advanced spacecraft conducting surveillance of Earth. I personally became interested in UFOs when London Control ordered me to intercept one over England while flying for the US Air Force. Under Project Blue Book, the US Air Force investigated UFOs for more than twenty years; and we continue this research. I believe the God of the universe has spread life throughout the cosmos and UFO's are visiting us in ever-increasing numbers.

Dave McDonald is new Director of the Mutual UFO Network .

Clifford Clift, who has been the international director of MUFON, said he will step down at the end of the month because of personal and family commitments that require his full attention.

Clift was also a part of the committee that hired the new international director, David MacDonald shown on the right. He operates a school for pilots and aircraft dispatchers and owns Flamingo Air, a charter airline in Cincinnati. MacDonald has been involved with MUFON as the Kentucky State Director, assistant director of investigations and Star Team Administrator. He has conducted testing for new field investigators and sits on the MUFON board of directors.

"I think it is a great move, Clift said. "It is at an airport where there is a lot of activity — a lot of flights and pilots who provide sighting reports.

Editor's Note: I thank Clifford for his great service and leadership and many improvements. David is an excellent choice as MUFON's new Director with a wonderful personality. I expect great things for a growing organization with the most important world mission.

Supreme Allied Commander Mountbatten Saw UFOs

Earl Louis Mountbatten became First Sea Lord Admiral of the British Fleet the highest rank in the Royal Navy from 1954 until 1959. He was one of the three Supreme Allied Commanders of World War II (the others were Eisenhower and MacArthur) with a quarter million personnel under his direct command.

Later he was the last Viceroy of India, who orchestrated its independence from England. He was also the architect of the total reorganization of Britain's armed forces. He also had a keen interest in UFOs.

Mountbatten wielded power over millions of people around the globe and was frequently seen with world's leaders. Mountbatten was Governor of the Isle Wight from 1969 until 1974. He had the highest clearances and contacts put him position to know the inner most secrets of many countries. Mountbatten was a strong influence in the upbringing of his grand-nephew of Prince Charles, and later as a mentor. President Kennedy and Admiral Mountbatten

His interest in UFOs was so keen he tried to persuade the editor of the Sunday Dispatch to put a team on to sifting the reported cases and pursuing the more promising. He encouraged Prince Philip to research UFOs and put forward his theory that the mysterious objects came from outer space and were the inhabitants of other planets.

His biography states, "What do you think about flying saucers?" He asked his daughter Patricia in a 1948 letter. He had been discussing the phenomena with his trusted close friend Peter Murphy.

"They were both convinced that they come from another planet but we mutually and independently came to the conclusion that they were not aeroplanes with silly almost human pilots, but are themselves the actual inhabitants: Martians, Venusians, Jupiterians or what have you. Why should life in another planet with entirely different conditions in any way resemble life on our planet? Their inhabitants might be gaseous' or circular or very large. They certainly don't breathe, they may not have to eat, and I doubt if they have babies" bits of their great discs may break away and grow into a new creature. The fact they can hover and accelerate from the Earth's gravity again and even resolve around a V-2 rocket in America (as reported by their head scientist) shows they are far ahead of us. If they really come over in a big way that may settle the capitalist communist war. New Planet like Mars

A team of astronomers using the Kepler telescope have discovered the smallest exoplanets — and tiniest solar system — so far. And their existence may show that our solar system isn't all that unique.

The planets orbit a single star, KOI-961, and range between .57 and .78 the size of the Earth with the smallest about the same size as Mars. Their discovery is important because most exoplanets have been gas giants like Saturn or Jupiter.

"Astronomers are just beginning to confirm thousands of planet candidates uncovered by Kepler so far, Doug Hudgins, a scientist with the Kepler program said in a press release. "Finding one as small as Mars is amazing, and hints that there may be a bounty of rocky planets all around us. According to John Johnson, NASA's Exoplanet Science Institute's primary researcher, "This is the tiniest solar system found so far. [ NASA]

Strange object on the Moon

Strange object on the Moon obtained from Google Moon by Dr. Richard Buchli D.V.M Ph.D. who has been searching for strange anomalies on the Moon and Mars.

Prof Paul Davies and Robert Wagner at Arizona State University argue that images of the moon and other information collected by scientists for their research should be scoured for signs of alien intervention. The proposal aims to complement other hunts for alien life, such as the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (Seti), which draws on data from radio telescopes to scour the heavens for messages beamed into space by alien civilisations.

"Although there is only a tiny probability that alien technology would have left traces on the moon in the form of an artifact or surface modification of lunar features, this location has the virtue of being close, and of preserving traces for an immense duration," the scientists write in a paper published online in the journal Acta Astronautica.

GRAIL Spacecraft Reach our Moon

Over the decades, more than 100 spacecraft have gone to the Moon, "and yet we still don't know why the front side of the Moon looks different than the back side of the Moon, said Maria T. Zuber, the mission's principal investigator. The first of two NASA spacecraft to study the moon in unprecedented detail has entered lunar orbit. NASA's Gravity Recovery and Interior Laboratory (GRAIL)-A spacecraft successfully completed its planned main engine burn and is in a moon orbit.

"My resolution for the new year is to unlock lunar mysteries and understand how the moon, Earth and other rocky planets evolved," said Maria Zuber, GRAIL principal investigator at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. This $496 million NASA mission, called the Gravity Recovery and Interior Laboratory, or Grail, will conduct a single measurement: a map of the Moon's gravitational field. But it will do it with such precision that scientists will get a clear picture of the interior.

In March, the spacecraft will begin collecting the gravity data. Variations in density — for example, a mountain range or a clump of heavier metals below the surface — change the Moon's gravitational pull and create wobbles in its orbits, and the gravity map will be calculated from the changes in distance and speed between the two spacecraft.

For the near side, the data will be 100 times better than what scientists have now, Dr. Zuber said. For the far side, the improvement will be a factor of 1,000. That precision will allow the scientists to test, for example, predictions of a hypothesis that the Moon is actually an amalgamation of two moons that collided long ago, with the remnants of the smaller moon forming the far-side highlands.

Why Spend More Millions to go to the Moon?

Harv Howard writes, Wanna think about the new probes going to the Moon to check out its gravity (?), etc. and why such a mission is deemed important enough to spend millions of dollars at this stage of exploring the Moon? Perhaps the probes are going to check for voids as found on Phobos the larger moon of Mars.

This all ties in with this week's announcement by a couple of scientists that we should be looking at the Moon for signs of ETs. (Of course, that looking suggested for the public and non-governmental scopes is supposed to be for ancient ruins. Heaven forbid we should see an active base! You have to wonder if all of the hundreds of thousands of images taken by many probes over the decades were so blurry that civilians would be asked to look with their private instruments. NASA's Ken Johnson Claims Lunar Anomalies Exist

Russ Hamerly reports, NASA Whistleblower Ken Johnston who worked for NASA's Lunar Receiving Laboratory during the Apollo missions, says, "he was fired for telling the truth."

He joined George Knapp on his Sunday night Coast to Coast Program to explain NASA knows there is evidence for both modern and ancient artifacts on the moon, as well as an active base. He explained that in his position as Photo Control Department Manager, he had access to highly detailed film and negatives taken during the Apollo missions. In viewing 16mm film shot by Apollo 14, they saw a shadow cast in the bottom of a crater, "and as we approached it, in the dark area there were like five domes lit from the inside, and a little plume that looked like steam streaking up above it, Johnston said.

There are also Apollo pictures that show perfectly round holes, which he's concluded are vents rather than craters because they don't have ridges. Photos taken during the Apollo 15 mission show beams stretching across the surface that expose some of the lunar substructure, Johnston noted, adding that during seismic experiments the moon would ring like a bell, possibly indicating it was hollow. One of the more striking anomalous photos was taken by a Russian lunar orbiter which showed a fractured dome on the moon's surface, he commented. Another image, taken by the Lunik 13 Russian craft, looks like a drilling device and definitely appears artificial, he continued.

Johnston also talked about some of his early UFO contact experiences, where he was told he would become an ambassador between humans and ETs. He believes there is a group of ETs called the Watchers that keep tabs on humanity. Interestingly, he learned that Apollo astronauts were warned off by beings at one of the craters, and told not to return to the moon, and subsequently NASA scrapped the rest of its planned Apollo missions. The Chinese Roswell

Hartwig Hausdorf has ventured, virtually on foot, over many of the sacred places of China and had has written "The Chinese Roswell. His book is a translation into English from German that clearly and concisely describes his investigations into unexplained mysteries of China. He tells that a doorway was opened into ancient vistas never before glimpsed.

Hausdorf states, "The mythical first emperors of the Middle Kingdom, called the Sons of Heaven' possessed, not only extraordinary knowledge but also the ability to maintain constant contact with the gods in heaven through the agency of flying dragons. The legendary Emperor Emperor Yu -- said to have single-handedly willed into being the Xia Dynasty (2100-1,600 B.C.) -- had in his possession a flying vehicle powered by two dragons it was for this reason that his contemporaries dubbed this power potentate the 'Lord of the Air. Page 71.

Hausdorf aim has been to uncover tell-tale traces of an Alien Mind which may have passed that way millennia ago, and may be passing by again. He has visited dozens of Chinese Pyramids near the ancient city of Xian not generally opened to visitors. These ancient pyramids suggest a powerful ancient race.

Just one of the hundred pyramids allegedly took 70,000 workers twenty years to build. Hausdorf unearthed evidence of advanced beings from another world who visited primitive humans, gave them the knowledge of engineering, mathematics, astronomy, and civilization that became the basis for their cultures as are evidenced by the ancient pyramids and beliefs in China.

Missouri Flap

Kenneth Larson writes, "The December 2011 MUFON UFO Journal showed photos and comments from the witnesses of some 95 UFO sighting reports over Independence and Kansas City, Missouri. Mormon prophet Joseph Smith visited Independence in 1831 and dedicated the site for the future New Jerusalem. Smith (with Orson Pratt) wrote that he saw an object in the clear sky over Palmyra, New York, about September 26, 1820, that descended, lit tree branches in bright color, landed and two brilliant Personages appeared standing in the air who made clear they were the Father and Son.

Smith also had periodic visits from the Angel Moroni on each September 21-22, 1823 to September 21-22, 1827, explaining more information and Smith and his wife Emma recovered the ancient engraved gold plates from nearby HIll Cumorah in 1827 that served as the basis for THE BOOK OF MORMON published in 1830. New Zealand UFO Photos

Rick Pinfold writes, "Another fabulous dispatch,....thank you Major Filer.....It is time that we commit to taking constructive steps of advancement in categorizing witnessed photographical instances of the now-billions of obviously genuine "Models" of transportation and "Drone' devices....we now need to eliminate "Friendly" terrestrially-created devices, i.e., advanced drone types. (I don`t yet believe that human pilotage has been achieved yet, given the impossible physical parameters involved.) Leading national technologies are not about to show us their cards of what stage of advancement they`re at, are they?

Instead of bashing our heads about just trying to justify what hundreds and thousands worldwide are now documenting, due to the explosion of camera phones etc. (Seems these things cannot be captured or seen without digital devices; ..there`s a clue...BUT THEN...there is the photo evidence of the weird "animal, insect" forms...which I have had close contact with, most unfortunately. Maybe that is why Defense reporting points, including ours here in New Zealand have been closed down...to stifle info on programs that are already operating globally? i.e. advanced drone technology?...BUT...I have perhaps proof of most of what is being seen recently as being exactly that...It involves a recurring instance of human inquisitiveness and specific personal interest by the "operator/controller of the day".. Invitation to Seth Shostak of Seti

Dr. Harry Willnus writes, "I've been following the UFO phenomenon for over 55 years. I'm presently listed as a consultant for MUFON. Back in the early 1970's I was the first appointed investigator in Michigan to work with Allen Hynek's newly formed Center for UFO Studies (CUFOS) based in Evanston, IL. This came after Hynek retired from working as a scientific consultant with Project Blue Book which ended in 1969. I truly admired Hynek as he was one of the very few scientists at the time who pushed for scientific inquiry into the UFO phenomenon. While he began as a debunker of UFOs he realized, after a time, that there was indeed a real phenomenon present.

I heard Hynek speak numerous times and I recall how he once noted that he appeared on a panel along with Keith Shostak who was (and still is) associated with the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence (SETI). I recall that Hynek had an opportunity to converse with Shostak and asked what Shostak thought about several of the well known close-encounter UFO cases. Hynek was surprised that Shostak knew virtually nothing of these cases as well as having very limited knowledge of the UFO field.

That was nearly 40 years ago. Little has changed. I'll be attending the 21st Annual International UFO Congress Convention & Film Festival in Scottsdale, AZ from Feb. 22-26. This yearly symposium is one of the best of it's kind in the world. It's a shame that SETI people do not take advantage of symposiums which highlight the massive amount of UFO evidence that has been gathered to date.

I have offered-up to Seth Shostak that I will pay for a "full ride" for him if he will attend this symposium. My email to him has gone unanswered to this point.

Marines Take Delivery of its First Two F-35B Strike Fighters

The Marine Corps on Wednesday took delivery of its first two F-35B strike fighter production aircraft. BF-6 and BF-8 arrived at Eglin AFB, Florida, from Lockheed's F-35 assembly plant in Fort Worth, Texas. They are now assigned to the 33rd Fighter Wing that runs Eglin's joint F-35 schoolhouse.

X-37B Mission Remains Secret:

Air Force officials declined to comment on speculation that the US military is using the X-37B spaceplane currently in orbit to keep tabs on Chinese activities in space. AF spokeswoman Major Tracy Bunko told the Daily Report that officials were "really uncomfortable talking about specific orbits and missions" of the X-37B because they are classified. This Boeing-built spaceplane, the second X-37B in the series, is a "technology demonstrator," known as Orbital Test Vehicle-2, that the Air Force launched into space last March. It is conducting "on-orbit experimentation to meet its test objectives" in low Earth orbit, said Bunko. Britain's Spaceflight Magazine suggested in a recent article picked up by the BBC that the X-37B might be monitoring Tiangong 1—China's recently launched space laboratoryMSNBC. Worldwide Sightings Increase

"Last January 2011, MUFON recorded about 500 reports, and we're already up to 233 after just the first week of 2012," said MUFON International Director Clifford Clift.

"For December, we had 800, compared to about 500 in December 2010." CMS continues to amass sighting reports from around the globe. Dozens of TV stations report UFOs.

Alaska Triangle

Seward -- Robert Mackey writes, "Just got into town from Anchorage at 7:15 pm, on January 13, 2012, with unlimited visibility and saw two smaller craft moving into the east, as I watched them move across the sky into a part of the starlight sky that looked very different tonight. They disappear into the night sky. I noticed a huge triangle pointing up. Then it turned down pointing to the earth, then moved sideways, and slowly moved across the sky over the mountains and out of view. This craft was huge beyond belief, the size of an aircraft carrier. I saw three huge light beacons in a triangle shape move across the sky. It's extremely cold here, and I went inside to send this off soon as possible. I'm going to dress warmly and see if I can get something on camera. Thanks to Robert Mackey

Arizona Triangle

Casa Grande -- I was driving in my truck heading east on Interstate 8 just coming off Interstate 10 on January 11, 2012, when I noticed to my right what I thought was a plane flying low. When I got closer I saw it was hovering or moving very slow. As I kept driving I ended up almost right underneath the object. I didn't really have a chance to stop and get a good look, but it had three lights that made a triangle shape on the bottom. I lost sight of the object as I kept driving so I don't know how long it stayed there. Thanks to MUFON CMS

California Sightings

Pacifica -- On January 1, 2012 at 12:04 AM, I was just outside my house watching fireworks and I noticed four lights hover not far from my house. I ran into the house to get my camera as one of the lights floated out of sight. I was able to catch a picture of three of the lights before they took off in the same direction.

Silicon Valley — I watched the object for over five minutes, and took plenty of pictures and called my nephew out to see it. He did not believe it, until he saw it. We watched together, while I used my Rebel TI3 12.2 MP, with 300 MM zoom lens and took plenty of pictures. I went inside to put them on my computer; had to zoom in 300% to get good look. The flying object changed shape during its path, like another I saw at same place, same time of day, three years prior. Thanks to MUFON CMS

CHINA LAKE -- At 6 pm, on January 10, 2012, there were two of these things craft with two white light bars between colored strobing lights flying in circles north of me. At about 7 pm, there was a brace of red lights that looked like laser pointers moving west on a flat winged structure..

For several years one on these craft would orbit the town every time an unusual UFO passed by here for hours! The wing like objects seen earlier have always looked like an aircraft with its underside wing festooned with strobing colored lights I thought it was laying down chemtrails; but recently I saw the same pattern of lights with the two white connecting bars between the lights on a UFO that was over a Chinese airport. Connecticut Triangle

BOLTON -- I was on my way home from work on Route 85, around 8:10 PM, on January 5, 2012, when I saw a three light tipped triangle cross the road just above the tree tops. I was on the phone with my mother and told her I saw some weird lights. The craft was enormous, larger than a commercial airliner flying within 100 feet of the tree tops. Two seconds behind it, I saw a second identical triangle pass along the same path moving south. I was yelling into the phone. By the time I got to my home, I could see nothing. Florida Light

Samsula -- I was traveling on east SR 44 in the Deland, FL area on January 12, 2012. I drove past a green light and a police car and proceeded around the bend and saw three deer. I sped up to 70 mph when a light flew right over the car less than 50 feet off the ground. It was moving about 80 MPH. I noticed a large white light in the back with a large red light on top. The moon shined on a 40 feet long cylindrical cigar shape that looked like a bunch of entangled piping. There was nothing smooth on the surface. It sped up and moved to the left side of the road and then the right. Soon it was hovering over the woods to my right and then moved quickly to the left side of the car again. Then it slowed down, headed back to me, but flew off. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Georgia Cylinder

Tyrone -- At about 7 Pm on January 15, 2005, I was taking out the trash and noticed an extremely bright light. It was brighter than any stars or planes in the sky. I called my wife and we watched it for ten minutes before grabbing our cameras. We ended up watching the object and taking pictures for 40 minutes or so. We live close to the Atlanta Airport and several planes came close to the object. After looking at our pictures and video we noticed the object was disc shaped but the object changed shape. Around 7:40 pm, the object dimmed and slowly moved out of site. I used a Canon 50D and my wife used a Nikon D90. This was definitely out of the ordinary. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Illinois Cigar

WASHINGTON -- I was leaving my apartment around 6 pm on January 11, 2012, and saw two huge cigar shaped objects. They were huge skinny rectangle objects with five flashing orange lights coming from square windows. The one cigar shaped UFO was slowly turning around counter clockwise. The cigar shaped UFO to the right of the first moved towards the rotating UFO and then it crossed in front of it. A black helicopter was hurrying around both of the UFOs, but I don't know what it was doing? Inspecting? The whole event took place under 30 seconds because I ran back to get my mother and son to look at the phenomenon.

I was scared to death! When we came outside they were gone. Last week, I witnessed a star light object hovering in the sky in Peoria, IL. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Collinsville -- My friend and I were driving to a friend's house at 11 PM, on January 15, 2012, and saw a large circular shaped object above the tree line. As we started to stop the object took off, turned at an angle, and then slowed staying above the tree line. We picked up another friend and searched for the craft. A couple hours later we saw three objects in the sky in with a formation like Orion's Belt. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Indiana UFO Activity

40.5512165 N 85.602364 W. -- Leaving Indiana on my way back to Philly I was scared as hell on December 22, 2011. We spotted a large white orb on one side of the van, that flew over us to the other side of the van quickly. I got scare when it came toward me so I jumped and tried to get film it. We were in shock! INDIANAPOLIS -- George, there was a tremendous amount of activity in Southwestern Indiana on January 6, 2012. There were many eye-witnesses tonight; my second go round this week. I don't have video or camera if I did a picture tells a thousand tales. Four of the UFO's remained relatively in the same spots for nearly an hour. Can you believe that we were listening to the radio a woman called it in and the DJ told her, "She was on crack? If the ass would have looked outside, I bet he'd sung a different tune. Do you have any insight on all the objects we saw streaking through the sky leaving the vapor trails. Some you never saw all of a sudden there was a long vapor trail. Well we are definitely keeping our eye to the skies. We all feel they wanted us to see them; they were fantastic. We fear not! Any helpful suggestions on how to handle it publically? Ohio Moving Object

Columbus -- I took three pictures within about 35 seconds with my phone on January 9, 2012, at 5:50 PM. I did not notice anything in the sky when taking pictures of the clouds but later noticed the objects. Sure enough, it was in each picture, and seemed to be moving across the sky. These are the original pictures from my phone and not altered in any way.

Washington Triangle

Bellingham -- I live on Reed Lake/Cain Lake under a set of mountains just west of Mt. Baker where at the tree line on the mountain were three balls of light, clearly larger then any star. Being a helicopter pilot, and knowing the specific routes flying over my house I new these lights were not planes. Also I no for a fact there is no tower or structure that would be on top of the mountain. The lights were in a triangle formation for about a minute or two. Then they slowly formed a straight line, pulsated three times and disappeared. I was left with an amazing feeling of joy and wonder. Moncton NB  -- This morning on January 9, 2012, I came home from work when I spotted a big and round UFO with a white light flying slowly at a very low altitude it disappeared into the darkness. I wish I had a witness, If you look up in the sky on a clear day you will see them. They are here.

Cornwall, Prince Edward Island -- This is an account from two professional mature people, well up the socio economic ladder. My wife and I were on our deck about 9:45 pm on January 9, 2012. I had my Celestron spotter binoculars out. My wife pointed out a bright light due west. With my binoculars I could see a craft that I assumed was a helicopter. I saw a red light on one side and a green light on the other, and a bright white light to give definition of triangle with a dimmer white LED'ish strobe light in the center. The lights seemed absurdly bright, yet not blinding. It rotated 360 degrees and flew the nose of the craft headed directly to our location and flew directly above us at 500 feet quietly.

I saw a triangular black craft similar to a stealth bomber with wings from nose, but straight across the tail from wing tip to wingtip (triangular). Its lights were ridiculously bright, but did not seem to emit light as it was directly above us and we could see its belly. It was moving no more than 30 km's per hour. And suddenly we both could see the entire craft except its very tips with the lights transformed into the whitest and most perfectly spherical ball of white light. It was perfectly round and whitish blue, and only the tips of the craft were protruding. Despite the blinding whiteness of this orb, the colored lights were also very noticeable. The bright sphere went out and the craft flashed three pink lights nose to tail and then instantly two lights inside the colored lights of the wings. The center of the rear light flashed in the three sequence. And then it carried on to the east and stopped about a half mile from me. It seemed to consciously skirt the town of Cornwall circling three times and then went north and disappeared after an hour. My iPhone only recorded when the thing was beyond a quarter mile. Japan - Brothers Witness Spheres

Omiya -- Two brothers witness ten to fifteen spherical objects traveling southeast toward Tokyo on January 7, 2012. My brother and I were on a train platform 14 miles northwest of Tokyo looking at an advertising structure on a building when we saw several small, spherical objects traveling in a southeasterly direction. The objects "appeared to be about the size of basketballs 100 meters to 165 meters away. The objects were silver, were of a uniform size, and were easy to see against the bright blue sky. Redditch, Worcestershire -- I was driving at 25 mph on my way to visit a friend on January 12, 2012, who was sitting in his parked car 250 yards away. I suddenly noticed this orange light moving towards me at about 0640 hours. It caught my attention because of its color and short beam of light. At first I thought was an aircraft, but the lights were dull orange and I live within two miles of a major airport. It only lasted 20 seconds as two flew directly over my vehicle. Zaire Huge Boomerang Shape

DURBAN -- At about 7:30 pm, on January 12, 2012, I was standing on our deck looking at Venus low on horizon, and looked up at Saturn, and called my wife Dawn. As I pointed out Saturn, we both saw the materialization of a very large boomerang shaped flying vehicle about 25,000 feet high. I served in air force so I have a good eye for heights. The vehicle was in excess of five kilometers wide and surrounded in a luminous white light, and was a dark silvery color showing two blue and one red light. The air had a peculiar vibration. It flew at 1,500 km/hour for a distance of 75 kilometers, and then faded out to nothing. My wife could not believe her eyes. I have seen other craft before over the years. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Était-ce réellement une tornade, mardi soir, dans le ciel de Mordelles, près de Rennes, en Ille-et-Vilaine ? Un météorologue explique comment ce phénomène a pu se produire.

Une formation nuageuse semblable à une tornade

Ce phénomène étrange est plutôt rare. Il a été observé et photographié, mardi soir, par Nicolas, un habitant de Mordelles. Intrigués, nous avons questionné Frédéric Decker, météorologue à MétéoNews. Il nous raconte ce qui s’est réellement passé.

« Tout d’abord, j’avoue avoir d’abord pensé à un montage photo, mais avec les diverses photos et les témoignages, cette éventualité n’était plus à l’ordre du jour. On constate autour de la base nuageuse une couche uniforme de stratocumulus, nuages typiques sous des conditions anticycloniques. »

Pas de formation de tornade ?

Le météorologue nous explique que mardi, la situation météo était dominée par « un anticyclone à 1037 hPa dans une atmosphère calme sans contrastes thermiques. De telles conditions interdisent totalement la formation d’une tornade ».

Il semblerait que l’on ait affaire à une anomalie « positive de température locale, sans doute artificielle (zone surchauffée, usine, etc.) puisque cette formation nuageuse a été d’abord photographiée dans une petite zone industrielle avant de progresser en campagne ».

Cas assez atypique

Ce type de phénomène est donc « relativement courant, mais le cas de mardi était, il est vrai, assez atypique. Évidemment, ce phénomène esthétique ne présente aucun danger ».

Dans certaines conditions météo particulières, « des tornades sont possibles en Bretagne : il faut beaucoup d’air chaud en surface, beaucoup d’air froid en altitude, d’importants cisaillements de vent (vent de directions opposées entre le sol et l’altitude) et surtout la présence d’une cellule orageuse très active (seul un cumulonimbus, nuage d’orage, peut créer une tornade). »

To catch a liar is not easy. Our ability to detect a lie is 50/50. This “no better than chance” ability was improved upon with the advent of the polygraph in the early 1920s. This raised those odds to about 65%, though the polygraph remains “fluky” and the results it produces, controversial. But a new technology has recently emerged that applies software to analyze psycholinguistic cues to indicate truthfulness. This new “lie catcher” software was recently applied to the testimony of a key witness to the Roswell UFO crash in early July of 1947. This witness was Major Jesse Marcel. The new technology confirms that Jesse Marcel had indeed told the truth as a Witness to Roswell.

THE TECHNOLOGY

Two renowned professors at the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ have recently stunned the criminal psychology and law enforcement communities with the introduction of a computer program offering an astounding 86%-99% rate of success in lie detection. The creators of this “veracity software” are Dr. Raj Chandramouli and Dr. Koduvayur Subbalakshmi. The two (who have established Instream Media, LLC) are now developing partnerships with insurance companies (to detect against false claims) and other businesses where deception often comes in to play. The software developed by the professors is an extraordinary text analytics program.

Dr. Chandrmouli (who graciously provided the software and instructions for use to this author) explains that their approach to deceptive content utilizes a unique combination of statistical analysis, linguistics and psychology. The software combs for 88 psycholinguistic cues that indicate whether an individual is “covering up” or speaking the truth as he or she understands and believes it to be. Traditional polygraphs examine such things as pulse, sweat and respiratory rates to determine veracity. Similarly, “voice stress analysis” has been implemented. But the Stevens Institute scientists (who worked with an interdisciplinary team of linguists, psychologists and information technology engineers) believe that the standard polygraph and voice stress approaches have far too many variables and ‘outside influences’ that can adversely affect the accuracy of those machines and those that operate them.

The professors’ approach is far less open to such variables and influences. They and their team developed an algorithm based upon the Freudian notion that the truth always leaks out no matter how hard we attempt to cover it up- a phenomenon of course known as the “Freudian Slip.”

The technology does not require that an individual be “hooked up” in any way to any kind of machine. In fact, the individual does not even need to be alive to use the deception technology. By carefully and accurately transcribing into text the known and confirmed words of what a person has said on tape or in a video, the Stevens Institute technology is able to scrutinize and interpret their words in text form to determine if they are truthful.

THE WITNESS


Rare Photo of Major Jesse Marcel in 1947

In 1947, Major Jesse Marcel was stationed at Roswell Army Air Field (RAAF) as a Base Intelligence Officer. He was called by Chaves County Sheriff George Wilcox to respond to ranch foreman Mack Brazel’s visit to him about the discovery of strange debris discovered in a field on the JB Foster Ranch in early July of that year.

Major Marcel, when located in 1978, described seeing, handling and transporting very strange crash debris materials. Marcel said that some of the debris was very thin and light “metal with plastic properties.” He also described other odd material that was impervious to the heat of an applied torch and that would not dent or scratch even from the blows of a sledgehammer. Marcel also mentioned very strange “parchment” material and longer curved metal-like pieces. He said that this sky-fallen debris covered a very large area and that there appeared to have been an explosion in the air. He insisted it was not the debris from any kind of weather balloon or plane, that is was some sort of aircraft not of earth.

THE TRUTH

Dr Chandramouli provided this author use of the software to test for falsehood the testimony of Major Marcel. The conversion of key testimony by Marcel was transcribed and the results are in!

To the statement by Marcel:

“One thing that impressed us about the debris was the fact that a lot of it looked like parchment. It had little numbers with symbols that we had to call hieroglyphics because I could not understand them. They could not be read, they were just like symbols, something that meant something, and they were not all the same, but the same general pattern I would say.”

Dr. Chandramouli’s deceptive analysis results indicate: NORMAL, NO DECEPTION

To the statement by Marcel:

“This particular piece of metal was, I would say, about two feet long and perhaps a foot wide. See, that stuff weighs nothing, it’s so thin, it isn’t any thicker that the tinfoil in a pack of cigarettes. So I tried to bend the stuff, it wouldn’t bend. We even tried to make a dent in it with a 16 pound sledge hammer, and there was no dent in it.”

Dr. Chadramouli’s deceptive analysis results indicate: NORMAL, NO DECEPTION

To the statement by Marcel:

“There were small beams about three-eighths of a half inch square with some sort of hieroglyphics on them that nobody could decipher. These looked something like balsa-wood, and were about the same weight, except that they were not wood at all. They were very hard, although flexible, and would not burn.”

Dr. Chadramouli’s deceptive analysis results indicate: NORMAL, NO DECEPTION

CONCLUSIONS

The Stevens Institute technology analysis indicates with certainty that Major Marcel did indeed accurately relate in transcribed interviews the truth as he believed it to be:

Marcel said that there was a crash in the summer of 1947. The debris from that crash included varying types: 1) Parchment-like material with strange, indecipherable symbols 2) beams made of material that was like wood, but “not wood at all” that also had hieroglyphics and that, remarkably, would not burn and 3) unusually thin and unusually light metal-like material that would not even dent to the force of a pounding sledgehammer.

This author is continuing to work through the testimony of Major Marcel, as found in various interview transcripts and films to apply the psycholinguistic lie-catching technology. Comparison to other testimony (such as that of Officer Bill Rickett and Officer Sheridan Cavitt, who were also at the crash scene with Marcel) will be conducted as well and reported on at a later date.

I do not ascribe 100% certainty to anything. It is for this reason that I do not offer a “firm endorsement” of the findings of the Stevens Institute analysis. That qualified, I do believe that it is the best-available technology to ascertain honesty.

Half of writing history is hiding the truth. Hopefully technology will one day free us, at last, to uncover the truth, the whole truth, and to correct history.

The connection between pyramids, lightning & advanced aerial craft (UFOs)

The world is starting to learn about the hundred pyramids in China that are thought to be thousand years old. At that time most humans were considered as cavemen with dark skin, dark hair, and eyes. Chinese have kept the pyramids secret because the white skinned builders were from space with blonde hair and blue eyes. The mummies in Kseeyang Uygor region have blonde hair and some of them have red hair. Ancient Sumerian and Chinese history texts speak of wars with Blond white warriors in the past. Ancient pyramids exist all over the world with celestial and other evidence suggesting they were built 10,000 years ago when humans were still very primitive and prehistoric people.

Why would an alien race build pyramids? Pyramids are tall like Tesla's Towers that were designed to collect and transfer energy with a magnifying transmitter. The world has a tremendous energy system in nature called lightning. This is backed by the power of the sun and gravity. Mankind is starting to understand this energy, but the man who understood and developed alternating current, radio, motors, and some 1200 inventions was Nikola Tesla.

Tesla sought to create a system where each home and building had its own free energy source and could broadcast energy across distances. To that end, he constructed Wardenclyffe Tower in Shoreham, Long Island, which was to function as a wireless telecommunications facility and broadcast of electrical power. But JP Morgan, who financed the construction of the tower, eventually, pulled Tesla's funding. Unable to find additional backers,

Tesla was forced to abandon construction of the tower, and never fulfilled his dreams of creating a worldwide wireless electrical energy system that depends upon electrical conductivity.

The aliens have likely mastered energy transmission and are often seen hovering over power lines as filmed here over Clyde, Texas January 23, 2011, and above thunderstorms. Even small UFOs have been calculated to have electrical energy equivalent to that produced by a power station. This photo shows Tesla seated inside a circular framework 51 feet in diameter, which supported the primary and secondary conductors of the largest Tesla coil ever built, at his Colorado Springs experimental station in 1899. The oscillator is operating at 100 khz, and the discharges occur with a deafening roar striking an unconnected, comparatively smaller diameter coil 22 feet away. The activity of the oscillator created earth currents of such magnitude that sparks an inch long could be drawn from a water main at a distance of 300 feet from the station. Low frequency alternating current can be transmitted through the inhomogeneous earth with low loss because the net resistance between earth antipodes is considerably less than 1 ohm. The electrical displacement takes place predominantly by electrical conduction through the oceans, and metallic ore bodies and similar subsurface structures. The electrical displacement is also by means of electrostatic induction through the more dielectric regions such as quartz deposits and other non-conducting minerals.

An average bolt of negative lightning carries an electric current of 30,000 amperes (30 kA), and transfers fifteen coulombs of electric and 500 megajoules of energy. Large bolts of lightning can carry up to 120 kA and 350 coulombs. An average bolt of positive lightning carries an electric current of about 300 kA certainly enough to power a UFO. Although, I do not know the design of the propulsion system of the average UFO they make no noise or hum like an electric motor. The movement of electrical charges produces a magnetic field that apparently overcomes gravity or at least provides a high powered propulsion system. The intense currents of a lightning discharge create a fleeting but very strong magnetic field. Where the lightning current path passes through rock, soil, or metal these materials can become permanently magnetized. This effect is known as lightning-induced remanent magnetism, or LIRM. These currents follow the least resistive path, often horizontally near the surface, but sometimes vertically, where faults, ore bodies, or ground water offers a less resistive path. Lightning-induced magnetic anomalies can be mapped in the ground, and analysis of magnetized materials can confirm lightning was the source of the magnetization and provide an estimate of the peak current of the lightning discharge. Electromagnetism manifests as both electric fields and magnetic fields. Both fields are simply different aspects of electromagnetism, and hence are intrinsically related. Thus, a changing electric field generates a magnetic field; conversely a changing magnetic field generates an electric field. This effect is called electromagnetic induction, and is the basis of operation for electrical generators, induction motors, transformers, and probably UFOs. http://en.wikipedia.org

Pyramids are by design are very dry as any rain drains to ground level. The top of most of the pyramids are flat indicating a craft could land and safely park on top of the pyramid. Most of the pyramids are a hundred feet high, some reach 300 feet and are the highest structure in the area and provide a great view and are very susceptible to lightning strikes. UFOs apparently use the electrical power and store it in their batteries. Billions of lightning strikes hit the ground yearly providing tremendous energy that the aliens apparently can control.

Robert Bauval demonstrated that the three pyramids of Giza in Egypt are aligned to one another in imitation of the three belt stars of the constellation Orion. The Chinese pyramids may also show a correlation to the constellations.

The sheer size and large numbers of Chinese pyramids indicate an advanced civilization must have had an important purpose for building these structures. It's logical that the builders of the pyramids expected a return for their efforts. A couple of the more modern pyramids were tombs for Chinese leaders, but around a hundred were not used as burial tombs.

Above is a NASA Global map of lightning frequency. Satellites detect lightning on an average of 44 5 times a second, for a total of nearly 1.4 billion flashes per year. The Chinese pyramids are made mostly of clay with a tube system spreading out around them. Christopher Dunn showed evidence that the Giza Pyramid in Egypt was designed as a power plant and those in China may also be power plants collecting energy. Gulf Breeze UFOs

Ken Larson wrote, "In Filer Files #1, 2012, you noted Nicholas Tesla and his theory that energy could be drawn from the Earth as a source of power. In the 1990 book, "THE GULF BREEZE SIGHTINGS, authors Ed and Frances Walters said that the UFOs seen by witnesses with various photos taken of the objects would show them as hovering over the ground and pointed down as if they were looking for something. Colonies on Mars will flourish and we will eventually conquer the universe, says Stephen Hawking

World renowned physicist Professor Stephen Hawking has said that to survive the human race must colonize space' -- and he's confident that one day we will. To mark his upcoming 70th birthday, Professor Hawking answered questions from Radio 4 listeners, with one asking: Will we ever colonize the stars?' He replied: "I believe that we will eventually establish self-sustaining colonies on Mars and other bodies in the Solar System although probably not within the next 100 years.

"I am optimistic that progress in science and technology will eventually enable humans to spread beyond the Solar System and out into the far reaches of the Universe.

He explained that we must achieve this because global warming or a nuclear war will eventually ruin the planet. The possibility of multiple universes is something he does believe in, however, telling one listener: Our best bet for a theory of everything is M-theory. One prediction of M-theory is that there are many different universes, with different values for the physical constants.'

As for life on other planets, it's not something Hawking discounts, but he does warn that close encounters could end badly for the human race. Hawking believes that we will one day colonize our cosmic neighbor. Pictured is the Disney film Mission to Mars. You'd be forgiven for thinking that Hawking spends most of his waking hours thinking about these cosmic subjects. But when he was asked by New Scientist recently what preoccupied him he replied: 'Women. They are a complete mystery.' Professor Hawking married Jane Wilde in 1965, and they had three children. Colleagues have this week expressed their admiration Hawking, who has contributed to theories of gravity and showed that black holes emit radiation and slowly disappear.

Tension Grows with Iran Over Hormuz Strait

Seventeen oil tankers pass through the Strait of Hormuz each day carrying up to 40 percent of the world's seaborne oil. Iran is threatening to close the shipping lanes and attack US ships. A commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Ali-Ashraf Nouri said, "The supreme authorities of the (Islamic) establishment have emphasized that if the enemies impose sanctions on the export of our oil, we won't allow a drop of oil to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. This is the strategy of the Islamic republic in face of such threats."

Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi stated, The strategic Strait of Hormuz is completely under Iran's control, and all activities in the waterway are monitored by the Islamic republic. We plan to hold a large-scale military maneuver in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz in February.

On Sunday, U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta in a TV interview vowed that the United States would not allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons or to block the Strait of Hormuz. Iran also announced it began uranium enrichment at a new underground site well protected from possible airstrikes.

Appearing in the same interview, chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff General Martin Dempsey added that while Iranians have the capability to block the strait for a time, the United States would also be able to "defeat" them if it happened. .

To avoid Hormuz shipping lanes a pipeline is under construction to transport crude oil from Habshan, the collection point for Abu Dhabi's onshore oil fields, over 230 miles of desert and razorback mountains to the port of Fujairah, (Red Line on map) to the U.A.E.'s eastern coast, facing the Gulf of Oman. The project is designed to reduce shipping congestion and costs, saving two days sailing time for tankers, worth about $38,000, by loading at Fujairah. The contractor is the China Petroleum Engineering and Construction Corporation that expects to complete the pipeline in June 2012.

Kate Finland writes, "In older Filer's Files there are several Skyquake cases. Skyquakes are strong aerial explosion like booming sounds which are heard often in South Carolina, Florida and around San Diego California. This phenomenon is also called Barisal Guns, Lake Seneca Guns, and Moodus Noises etc. I collected a 600 cases database of these booming sounds and analyzed the timing of this phenomenon. I traced the origin of these sounds. The timing of these sounds is synchronized to the internal oscillations of the Sun. Skyquakes cluster to same frequencies which oscillate just above the tachocline in the Sun.

The phenomenon is natural and the connection Sun-Earth is obviously Frame Dragging (See Google Wikipedia). The 600 cases database contains only booming sounds of unknown origin, no meteors, or supersonic jets are accepted. Time span of this database is over 200 years. What really happens in this phenomenon is not known, but I suspect that the high masses rotating in the Sun are deforming the Space/Time-universe so that air is removed to another dimension and when the removing stops there happens an implosion of air which results an explosion like boom.

Airborne Laser to be Dismantled

The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) is dismantling the Airborne Laser Test Bed (ALBT) for permanent storage now that the Defense Department has terminated experiments with it.

DOD invested more than $5 billion in the modified 747, which was designed to shoot down boosting ballistic missiles via a high-powered chemical laser shot out of a nose turret. ALTB succeeded in shooting down a solid-fueled missile and a liquid-fueled missile during tests in `2010. The megawatt-class chemical oxygen iodine laser that gives the ABL its knockout punch comprises six modules carried in the rear of the aircraft. Each module is the size of a large sport utility vehicle. The aircraft uses six infrared sensors to spot the exhaust from a boosting missile. Once the missile is detected, a lower power, kilowatt-class solid-state laser called the Track Illuminator tracks it and determines an aim point.

"Consideration must be given to space requirements for laser fueling area and laser fuel mixing/storage facilities that would be required to maintain the Airborne Laser refueling requirements. The report noted that "properly maintained fuel could last up to two weeks if not used in a sortie. "The Airborne Laser could maintain an orbit, preventing enemy launches for this duration without resupply as long as no hostilities occur. Once hostilities start, refueling will be necessary.

Through those experiments, the agency said it gained critical insights to help it in the design of future concepts. In December, MDA Director Army Lt. Gen. Patrick O'Reilly said a new generation of anti-missile lasers would have to pack much more power in smaller packages and we are close to having a prototype. Thanks to AFA.

First Four Exoplanets of 2012 Have Been Spotted

Only four days into 2012 and already four new Hot Jupiter's: HAT-P-34, HAT-P-35, HAT-P-36, HAT-P-37. All four alien worlds are large gas giant planets orbiting very close to their stars. Their orbits are aligned just right with the Earth so that when they pass in front of their parent stars, they slightly dim the starlight from view.

California UFOs

SANTA ROSA -- Here is a full sized image of objects spotted at 7:15 pm, on December 31st, 2011. These objects seem to be the same as the ones shown on your site on July 27, 2011. Palm Springs -- I took a video last night on January 4, 2012 of a UFO. I have seen UFOs before but had a camera, but last night I did! It lasted too long for me to stay out and observe how it took off. That's usually the best part, since it was super fast - faster than the blink of an eye.

I first saw nine UFOs in 1975, while riding passenger in my husband's car in Idaho. I worked at an ABC news station and saw them in the sky after work. One dropped from the sky and hovered for a few seconds and then took off super fast! I had two sightings in 1975.

In San Clemente, California we both saw numerous UFOs of different types that do different things. I told the news director at ABC that I had seen nine UFOs in formation over Idaho. He found an article in the paper of others seeing six or nine red, white and blue lights in the sky.

I have a daughter in Guam Navy Intelligence who with a fellow Navy lady saw two UFOs out the window wobbling like they were going to crash and zoomed over the restaurant. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Connecticut Triangle

Voluntown/Sterling -- On December 24, 2011, before 10 pm, I was traveling north on Route 49 in a rural hilly farming area and noticed a low and fast brilliant blue/white marker light that was blinking similar to a halogen light. It was flying west and became brighter and changed to a flashing flood light when it got overhead. It followed me and was lighting up the road around me and the flashing light lit up the interior of my car. I slowed down but it kept pace with my car, flashing extremely brightly. When it got overhead I pulled off the road and opened the roof window. There was no sound. The light was blinding as it hovered overhead. I closed the roof, locked my doors, and drove off as fast as I could in flight mode, in a cold sweat. The flashing light kept pace overhead as I drove north then abruptly left me making a 90 degree turn to the east. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Florida Blue Ball

Miami Beach -- On January 7, 2012, at about 7:25 PM, I was exiting my home with my children, waiting on my wife to finish getting ready. I saw the full moon rising and decided to take a still photo of it with my I-phone 3G. I showed my 8 year old daughter and my 5 year old son the image of the Moon, but noticed a bright blue glowing small orb. It was about 15-20 degrees out from the Moon disc. It was only visible through the electronic view finder of the I-Phone, but not to the naked eye. It was stationary in relation to the Moon.

I'm aware that electronic cameras can see wave lengths of light that are not seen by the naked eye. I saw static like texture to the orb. The static was like the off channel on older analog TVs. There was rapid dancing gold, silver, yellow, and pink electrical sparking around the edges of the orb disc. We arrived at North Bay Village, and turned on the camera again, and could see the orb. I also attempted to use other family member's I-phones and other camera phones to view the object. Only one other I-phone among four camera phones saw the object. Georgia Unidentified

This video goes with my original November 30, 2011, report. It is a large, bright, multi-colored, star-like object, moving erratically, changing direction, and yet staying within the same general vicinity. My son had already been observing this thing for over an hour before he came and got me. After only a few seconds of gazing at it, I grabbed my video camera and shot two videos and several pictures.

My son and I went inside to view the pictures and were astounded that after 25 minutes of viewing pictures inside, that it was still out there. So I took more pictures. The object was visible for several hours. It became visible again on December 10, 2011. I have been documenting this object ever since. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Idaho Light

I was coming home at 9:45 pm, and parked my car on the street on December 24, 2012, and realized that a bright red light was viewable from my front yard. It was similar to the same red light ufo that I viewed in the east in September. I immediately called a friend that lives a few blocks away who saw the ufo and phoned his father, who lives in Boise, four miles away. His father confirmed that the UFO was over 500 feet high. I scrambled for my digital Coolpix camera, and ran outside to shoot a photo. Thanks to MUFON CMS

ADDISON -- I was filming a heavy spraying of chemtrails starting earlier 8ish yesterday, when all of the sudden I spotted a disk/oval shape craft flying along side one of the chemtrails.

Chicago -- This photo was taken today in Chicago over Lake Michigan on January 7th, 2012, around 6 AM. My cousin was on top of a roof about to start work in the Rogers Park area by Sheridan Road and noticed two lights in the sky moving together at the same time and then another appeared. Indiana Dark Silhouette

Jeffersonville -- On the night of January 3, 2012, I was watching the ISS and Tiangong space stations flyovers at 7 and 7:15 pm. A few minutes later, I caught a small flash from the western sky. It was easy to see three lights, one on each side of the first and further behind. I know that it's not a plane as a triangle is longer in front. I am trying to see a form, but it's like looking thru water. Only a slightly dark silhouette is moving fast, 2X the speed of the space stations I saw earlier. What I see is huge, possibly two miles long and a mile wide. After following it down range for another five seconds, it appeared to be around 100 miles up.

I saw a Georgia video using night vision goggles that captured the famed flying triangle flying in LEO last summer. In the video, you first see a jet ten miles up, then by luck he catches the lights of the triangle at 100 miles up, and it is still bigger than the plane. It was awesome! Thanks to MUFON CMS

Minnesota Lights

Woodbury -- On December 31, 2011, I was sitting in the car outside my house and saw two lights to the south. I got out of the car to get a better look. Several seconds later, one of the lights flew away very fast. The other light stayed for another couple seconds, then I turned to get back in the car once. I turned my camera back on and tried to snap another picture but as I took it the light disappeared. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Missouri Spheres

St. Charles -- My friends and I saw four glowing spheres roughly five miles away in a diamond shape. I saw three original lights, then one flew south and one took off to the north. The northern one turned around and flew south with the other one. The one that stayed hovering was the center piece that I then saw of the 4 creating diamond shape. I then went out back and another flew over my head from the north. It had 2 constant yellow lights and one flashing red. The four out front had blinking bluish reddish yellowish multicolor flashing lights. I then saw a yellow light come up from behind a house to the east and go straight up then head south. The lights are still floating outside. I have attached a short video of the main closest one. It has been hovering for two hours now and counting.

New Jersey Possible Abduction

TURNERSVILLE -- I was driving south toward the shore approaching the Atlantic City Expressway in November 1, 1986. I saw a large triangle in the sky nearly overhead, that didn't appear to be moving. As I got nearly under it, I pulled over to see if I could identify it and take note of details. I'd never seen any triangle like it and didn't know how it was staying up there? It was large and there were three lights on the bottom of the craft at the corners shining downwards. I lowered my window to listen, but there was no sound and the craft didn't move. After five minutes, I decided it was probably associated with McGuire Air Force Base and I pulled back on the highway and proceeded to Ocean City.

When I got home my husband asked me what I had been doing that I was an hour late. I had called him right before I left Philadelphia, so I guess I 'lost' an hour of time. In the 90's I began to have trouble with my muscles and eventually participated in a study at University of Rochester where my ck levels were again seen as elevated. The info I got at the time was people like 'me' were being included in a study which was originally designed solely for myotonic dystrophy. I apparently have a 'new' kind of muscular dystrophy and so do others in my family. Since that time a gene has been found for some people in the study in 'my category', though no gene has been found for mine. It was the show I saw on elevated ck levels that prompted me to make this contact with the account of what I saw. This case is under investigation by Ed Dobson of MUFON New Jersey. EAST WINDSOR -- I was driving home with my friend Ryan on November 27, 2011, coming through Millstone on a long straight road, when I saw this strange object with a blinking light. We got closer to the low flying object and parked and saw it was only a few hundred feet in the air. It was totally still and making no noise and shaped like a stop sign. There was one white light in the middle surrounded by six multi-colored lights. They were green, blue, red/orange, and yellow. We watched for a few minutes as it continued to hover, questioned each other on what it could be, and then took off because we knew it wasn't anything we had ever seen. DEMING -- At around the same time every evening on January 6, 2012, for the last three days and on previous occasions a glowing sphere makes a slow descent to the horizon. When it gets the horizon a second glowing sphere pops up usually to the right of the object with the same pulsing pinkish-red glow. Because of its higher intensity in color and brightness in comparison to any other objects in the sky, I immediately was locked onto this object until it faded below the horizon. It would periodically resurface until finally it did not do so again. I had a clear view of it for the entire duration of its flight. Hanks to MUFON CMS

New York Disc

HICKORY -- Outside my home facing south I witnessed two dark metallic disc shaped UFOs moving southeast on December 30, 2011. The first one became extremely bright and just disappeared. This was followed by a second one that became extremely bright, and disappeared. I went into the house and told my wife I spotted two UFOs. She came outside and I pointed to the sky at the location where I saw them. We saw two more this time adjacent to each other that brightened and disappeared. It was not until I downloaded the photos to my computer that we saw I had captured UFOs on my on my camera. Thanks to MUFON CMS

North Carolina Lights

Wrightsville Beach -- My friend and I were looking out from our balcony overlooking the Ocean on January 5, 2012. She and I were looking at two red pulsating lights about 30 degrees above the horizon. These lights remained stationary. After a few minutes a second set of brighter larger orange colored lights appeared and the red lights moved toward the orange lights then disappeared. We watched the orange lights brighten and alternately dim and get a little closer to us and move away. I snapped a picture and tried to take a video on my iPhone. After five minutes, it seemed to just become invisible, disappear, reappear and the lights seemed to pulsate before changing from visible orange lights to a dot. Then they just disappeared. Pennsylvania Huge Lights

HOMESTEAD -- I was walking up the hill to my apartment on January 6, 2012, when I noticed a huge light in the sky about 6:15 pm. I saw my neighbor standing by our building and stopped to talk to him, and after five minutes the light moved to a very visible position and told him to look up. We stood there trying to understand what it was. Two minutes later another object was moving at a steady pace and I pointed to it. He asked, "What's going on? We watched it slowly ascend until it disappeared. Five minutes later we saw the same type UFO. We were out there for half an hour and got my other neighbor and she was amazed. A second friend said,
"It's turning colors. I've seen many and I even had a visit when I was a child! Thanks to MUFON CMS

Canada Rectangle

Gatineau -- I was outside smoking at 11 pm when something that seemed like a red firecracker blossomed in the sky on December 2, 2011. However, it didn't fall apart like a firecracker does and flew closer to my home in the woods. The rectangular shape craft flew at low level I'd say 300 feet over the trees. Behind this light also on the belly was a white light. The ''craft'' passed right beside me over my head I heard a humming noise barely discernible.

It was moving quite slowly when I clearly saw the black rectangular shape edge. The lights changed in intensity; and I got a glimpse of red coming from the side lights. The rear was part of the propulsion system with a yellow extremely bright globe, like a mini sun. When the craft accelerated incredibly fast the globe got brighter and zig sagged downward at extremely high speed and disappeared in a flash. A helicopter passed over my house several minutes later. UFO over Chongjin Airport, China

SHANGHAI -- UFOs were observed on August 17, 2011 and Chinese Air Traffic officials closed Chongjin Airport for an hour until the craft departed the area.

On January 5, 2012, several videos surfaced online that claimed to show a UFO hovering above China's Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. The videos alleged that the UFO had caused flights at the airport to be diverted or canceled. UFO over Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport exposed [video]Another report was received from Taiyuan City, at 5:45 pm, on December 25, 2011.

China's plans for the next five years, according to a government white paper include a "giant leap" to the Moon. China's Space Activities include research on a heavy-thrust carrier rocket - vital for launching manned spacecraft to the moon.

A new UFO sighting was filmed on December 23, 2011, in France. A gray and white sphere was hovering in the sky between the clouds.

India Light

Tamil Nadu -- I sighted a ufo in the Yellenally Nilgiris District, Tamil Nadu, on January 6, 2012, at around 7:30 pm. I was out to get some fresh air and happened to look up at Orion's Belt and saw a bright light that moved southeast quickly. I thought it must be an aircraft but I did not see any strobe lights, just a plain bright white light. All I know is that it had the freakiest motion I have ever seen. It flew really quickly. In five minutes time, the light disappeared gradually into the clear sky. Since I believe in aliens and their existence, I had a feeling that it must have been a UFO. Thanks to Rufus

New Zealand Photo

Otaki beach, Kapiti coast -- On Easter Monday, on April 4, 2011, about 1400 hours, I was waiting to see vintage aircraft tracking north, returning from Wanaka Air Show. They were enroute to Ardmore on a bright sunny day and I was monitoring frequency area 122.300 MHz for their position. I was attempting to photograph a P-40 Kittyhawk in formation with a Japanese Mitsubishi Zero fighter at a stated height of 1500 feet. When reviewing photos from my cheepie video/still 3mpxl set accidently to "still mode" on first exposure I spotted this craft. Thanks to Rick Pinfold.

UK England Sighting

Cressing -- A couple believe they saw a UFO on their way home from work between 6:30 - 7 pm on December 15, 2011. The par had been driving along a country lane when they spotted a beam of light in the sky in the Cressing area. The couple, who wanted to remain anonymous, said: "We came off the main road and were heading home towards Notley when we both saw a UFO in the sky, it appeared to be round in shape, and although it was high up, you could just about make out the shape. "But what caught our attention was the fact that it had a huge bright white beam of light coming from it that was beaming straight up into the sky. -- We were so surprised by what we were seeing; we stopped the car to concentrate on it.

James Carlson Gets it Wrong Again:

Reuters Was NOT Paid to Publicize Robert Hastings’ Investigation of UFO Activity at F.E. Warren AFB in October 2010

     James Carlson's father, Eric, is a former U.S. Air Force ICBM launch officer who was involved in a UFO incident at a missile site operated by Malmstrom AFB, Montana, decades ago—although the elder Carlson continues to deny it. Nevertheless, I’ve interviewed other former/retired officers and enlisted men who said that a UFO had indeed been hovering over one of the Echo Flight ICBMs early on the morning of March 16, 1967, when the entire flight of ten malfunctioned. I subsequently published those persons’ testimony and, still later, the actual tape recordings of their conversations with me—thereby publicly contradicting Eric Carlson’s claims of no UFO-involvement in the incident. In response, James has been libeling me all over cyberspace ever since. His daddy is telling the truth, he claims, and all of those other guys are full of it.

Carlson claims that Reuters’ supposed paid endorsement of my investigation lent it an aura of legitimacy that it did not deserve. However, once again, James Carlson has only succeeded in demonstrating his inability to accurately state facts, in any given case he attempts to discuss authoritatively.

In reality, I paid PRNewswire, a publicity-for-hire group, to post my press release on the incident at F.E. Warren whereupon Reuters, and many other news organizations, distributed it on its merits, even though—as James correctly noted—all of my sources were, and remain, anonymous. (Just as all of the Watergate investigation sources’ names were initially kept confidential, until unfolding events resulted in their identities being made known by Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein.)

I am perfectly aware that it would have been more credible to cite the F.E. Warren AFB sighting witnesses and my other sources by name, however, I didn't have the option to do so in this particular case. (Approximately 95% of my ex-military sources over the years were identified in my book UFOs and Nukes. Carlson just calls those guys liars or otherwise unreliable. In other words, heads he wins, tails I lose. In Carlson’s eyes, none of my sources are reliable when they report their direct or indirect knowledge of UFO activity at USAF nuclear weapons sites.)

Unfortunately, regarding the October 23, 2010 incident at F.E. Warren, the two then-active duty missile maintenance technicians who spoke of UFO sightings on the day of the communications snafu were later discovered and punished. Someone, perhaps the Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), had been monitoring their emails to my go-between, an already-retired ICBM maintenance tech. Consequently, after the two technicians retired in June 2011, a “flag” was put in each of their DD214 folders, chastising them for releasing still-classified information about the incident. This official admonishment effectively bars them from possible employment with defense contractors, a development which troubles me greatly. Nothing like this has ever happened to any of my ex-military sources during my 39-year research career.

To those who say that I should be far more troubled about the techs' unauthorized disclosures, I will simply assert my belief that the American people deserve to know the facts about UFOs which the U.S. government withholds from us and the rest of the world--including information about ongoing UFO incursions at nuke sites--and, furthermore, any military or ex-military whistle-blower who reveals his or her knowledge of those facts is a true patriot.

Nevertheless, the information provided by the pair—regarding the actual 26-hour duration of the comm disruption, the multiple, intermittent sightings of a huge, cigar-shaped UFO concurrent with it, and the subsequent warnings by the missile maintenance commander to his squadron to remain silent about the dramatic events—are all reliable disclosures in my view and I am hoping that other, on-the-record sources will materialize in the future who can substantiate the techs’ assertions.

The purpose of these files is to report the UFO eyewitness and photo/video evidence that occurs on a daily basis around the world and in space. These Files assume that extraterrestrial intelligent life not only exists, but my hypothesis is that the over a thousand UFOs reported each month represent technologically advanced spacecraft conducting surveillance of Earth. I personally became interested in UFOs when London Control ordered me to intercept one over England while flying for the US Air Force. Under Project Blue Book, the US Air Force investigated UFOs for more than twenty years; and we continue this research. I believe the God of the universe has spread life throughout the cosmos and UFO's are visiting us in ever-increasing numbers.

The world will not end this year or any time soon.

Mars Life in Lava Tubes

Charles Q. Choi writes, "Ice within lava tubes on Earth can host bacteria in cold Mars-like conditions, hinting that life could dwell in similar lava tubes on Mars.The microbes in question were collected from a tube near Newberry Crater in Oregon's Cascade Mountains at an elevation of 5,020 feet. The bacteria resided within ice on rocks some 100 feet inside the lava tube. "We found many, many microbes, many species," study lead author Radu Popa, a microbiologist, and astrobiologist at Portland State University, told SPACE.com. One of the microbes is a species of Pseudomonas, one of the most common types of bacteria on Earth.

"You can find its cousins in caves, on your skin, at the bottom of the ocean and just about anywhere," said study co-author Amy Smith of Oregon State University. "What are different, in this case, are its unique qualities that allow it to grow in Mars-like conditions."

The microbes can thrive despite near-freezing temperatures and very low-oxygen air. Although the Oregon lava tube environment is less harsh than Mars — the Red Planet is colder, with less oxygen — "it does show that bacteria can live in similar conditions, said study co-author Martin Fisk of Oregon State University.

Mars winds are stronger than thought, indicating greater atmosphere than predicted."Mars either has more gusts of wind than we knew about before, or the winds are capable of transporting more sand," said Nathan Bridges, planetary scientist at the Johns Hopkins University's Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, Md., and lead author of a paper on the finding published online in the journal Geology. "We used to think of the sand on Mars as relatively immobile, so these new observations are changing our whole perspective."

Norman Bryden writes, "What's really interesting is that unlike ruins on Earth, structures on Mars in many cases seem up-kept. A lack of dunes, craters, crumbling buildings and broken tubes etc. are apparent in many central squares. Structures are clear of debris for kilometers and in most -- if not all areas from this distance."

Even more interesting are the tiny spikes about the size of people standing in the streets. So when did the gravity on Mars change so drastically that atmosphere from respiration no longer accumulates? Trees and open waters are visible.

Moon Satellites

A pair of NASA spacecraft are slipping into orbit around the Moon this weekend to try to answer persistent questions about Earth's celestial companion.

Paul Davies and Robert Wagner of Arizona State University have suggested a crowd-sourcing effort to find artificial structures on the moon. After all, lunar missions like NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter are returning some dazzling, high-resolution imagery of the moon's surface. If aliens have been there, perhaps we could spot evidence of their presence.

Russian Failed Satellite to Mars Will Crash

Russia's would-be Mars mission is dead. Phobos-Grunt was an ambitious project aimed to return samples from the Martian moon Phobos, but Russian operators never got it to fire its engines and head to our neighboring world. As the mission's launch window to Mars closed, the European Space Agency finally threw in the towel on trying to communicate with the failed probe. Further contact will be done to try to find out what wrong, and to steer the craft's eventual plunge back to Earth so that it falls into the ocean (and doesn't drop a toxic load of propellant into an inhabited area.)

But as new information on the program and the management culture at the Russian space agency Roscosmos comes to light, it now appears that we should have been surprised if the mission had succeeded. Phobos-Grunt was riddled with last-minute problems that should have been fixed before it launched. This is unsettling news for NASA, which, with the retirement of the space shuttle, is now reliant on the Russians to get humans into orbit. It is estimated that this probe will fall back to earth on January 9, 2012. It is believed that Phobos-Grunt's Neutron spectrometer, Alpha X spectrometer, and Ion spectrometer become activated in full power mode, and IF coupled with an explosion of over 7.5 metric tons of both the hydrazine and nitrogen tetroxide fuel an EMP blast could occur. If exploded at a sufficient height (measured in the tens of thousands of meters) would devastate an area over 1,000 kilometers. This could kill 9 out of 10 people in the area.

Mexico Pyramid Power Plant

The earliest buildings at Teotihuacan date to about 200 BCE. The largest pyramid, the Pyramid of the Sun above was completed by 100 CE. The early history of Teotihuacan Pyramids is quite mysterious, and the origin of its founders is debated. For many years, archaeologists believed it was built by the Toltec.

Ancient alien theorists like Erich von Dniken believe that, thousands of years ago, extraterrestrials landed on Earth, where they were hailed as gods and helped shape human civilization. But what proof could possibly exist for such an encounter? Proponents of the theory point to two types of evidence: ancient religious texts and physical specimens such as cave drawings, stone sculptures, and pyramids. The ancient religious texts tell of humans who interact with gods or other heavenly beings who descend from the sky—sometimes in vehicles resembling spaceships—and possess spectacular powers. The second is physical specimens such as artwork depicting alien-like figures and ancient architectural marvels like Teotihuacan and the pyramids of Egypt.

Some historical texts, such as the Florentine Codex, attributes the Teotihuacan site to the Toltecs. Although the word "Toltec" generally means "craftsman of the highest level" and may not refer to the Toltec civilization. Since Toltec civilization flourished centuries after Teotihuacan, the people could not have been the city's founders. The culture and architecture of Teotihuacan was influenced by the Olmec people, who are considered to be the "mother civilization" of Mesoamerica.

Theoretically the pyramids are designed to collect magnetic and electrical energy from the Earth and thunderstorms to help power for the space ships. Nikola Tesla the inventor of the Induction motor, Tesla coil, and Alternating current believed electrical energy could be taken from the Earth and built towers to prove his theories. He rigged his equipment to produce lightning-scale electrical discharges, a feat which would allow him to test many of his theories about the conductivity of the Earth and the sky.

The evidence suggests aliens visited Earth in the past, and have returned. We have hundreds of eye witnesses who claim to have seen the visitors and been inside their ships. There is evidence they collect electrical energy from lightning in the clouds, and power lines.

Alien Gods of Peru

Chan Chan Spanish chroniclers from the 16th century claimed that when the conquistadors led by Francisco Pizarro first encountered the Inca's they were greeted as Gods, "Viracochas", because their lighter skin resembled their God Viracocha. This story was first reported by Pedro Cieza de Len (1553) Spanish chroniclersa as a "White God", often with a beard. Similarly to the Incan god Viracocha, the Aztec god Quetzalcoatl and several other deities from Central and South American pantheons, Bochica is described in legends as being bearded. The beard, once believed to be a mark of a prehistoric European influence and quickly fueled and embellished by spirits of the colonial era, had its single significance in the continentally insular culture of Mesoamerica. The descriptions parallel the aliens referred to as Nordics.

Magnetic Fields Influence the Brain

Tom Reed who has had several encounters spoke with Jeff Rense and me yesterday about strong magnetic fields found on the car when his family was abducted. Compasses were affected several feet from the car. Recent research indicates magnetic and electrical fields influence brain activity. Tom claims he felt calm even during an alarming situation.

A negative magnetic field applied to the top of the head has a calming, sleep-inducing effect on brain and body functions, due to the stimulation of the production of the hormone melatonin. It helps control over respiration and the production of free radicals (highly destructive molecules that are missing one electron, and readily react with other molecules).

It is likely the aliens have the ability to control magnetic fields that at one time were effective in shutting down auto engines with distributors. All magnets have two poles, one positive and one negative. In 1974 Albert Roy Davis, Ph.D., noted that positive and negative magnetic polarities have different effects upon the biological systems of both animals and humans. Davis then concluded that negative magnetic fields have a beneficial effect on living organisms, whereas positive magnetic fields have a stressful effect. Thanks to Tom Reed

Iran Threatens to attack US Carrier

Iran threatened to attack a US aircraft carrier if it returned to the Persian Gulf. Sanctions targeting Iran's oil sector prompted a 40 percent drop in Iran's currency value. The prospect of sanctions targeting the oil sector in a serious way for the first time has hit Iran's rial currency, which has fallen by 40 percent against the dollar in the past month.

Lines formed at banks and some currency exchange offices shut their doors as Iranians scrambled to buy dollars to protect their savings from the currency's fall. Army chief Ataollah Salehi said the United States had moved the 

USS John Stennis nuclear powered aircraft carrier out of the Gulf from because of Iran's naval exercises, and Iran would take action if the ship returned. Attached aircraft to the carrier are Navy and Marine F/A-18 Hornet, EA-6B Prowler, MH-60R, MH-60S, and E-2C Hawkeye., in addition to her accompanying vessels. The USS Stennis has NATO RIM-7 Sea Sparrow and Rolling Air Missile (RAM) surface-to-air missile systems, and the Phalanx Close-in Weapons System for cruise missile defense.

The US announced its intentions to return to the Persian Gulf and dismissed the Iranian warning, and claims the deployment was crucial to the security and stability of the region. Some 40 percent of the world's seaborne oil passes through the Straight of Hormuz.

Major General Zhang Zhaozhong, a professor from the Chinese National Defense University, said China will not hesitate to protect Iran even with a third world war. And don't forget Russia, which recently said it is preparing to retaliate against any attack on Iran....

Congress Unexplainable, Inexcusable

Col. Amos wrote, "Please forward this to every one you know, we need a 28th Amendment along these lines. No one has been able to explain to me why young men and women serve in the U.S. Military for 20 years, risking their lives protecting freedom, and only get 50% of their pay. While Politicians hold their political positions in the safe confines of the capital, protected by these same men and women, and receive full pay retirement after serving one term. It just does not make any sense. Monday on Fox news they learned that the staffers of Congress family members are exempt from having to pay back student loans. This will get national attention if other news networks will broadcast it. When you add this to the below, just where will all of it stop?

Governors of 35 states have filed suit against the Federal Government for imposing unlawful burdens upon them. It only takes 38 (of the 50) States to convene a Constitutional Convention. If you agree, please pass it on. This is an idea that we should address. For too long we have been too complacent about the workings of Congress. Many citizens had no idea that members of Congress could retire with the same pay after only one term, that they specifically exempted themselves from many of the laws they have passed (such as being exempt from any fear of prosecution for sexual harassment) while ordinary citizens must live under those laws. The latest is to exempt themselves from the Healthcare Reform... in all of its forms. Somehow, that doesn't seem logical. We do not have elite that is above the law. I truly don't care if they are Democrat, Republican, Independent, or whatever. The self-serving must stop. If each person that receives this will forward it on to 20 people, in three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message. This is one proposal that really should be passed around.

Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution: "Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States.

A majority of your Senators are millionaires, 36 Democrats and 30 Republicans, in the house if they were not already millionaires they will soon be. They are too busy for UFOs making money. Based on the record of Congress over the last several years, I suggest we vote them all out of office and start fresh

Arizona Mothership

Tucson -- My brother called to tell me about the UFO. I then saw the object in the sky outside my front windows. I can view a UFO in the eastern sky on December 31, 2011, with numerous smaller UFOs surrounding a larger one. I watched it change shape and colors. Called news stations but they show no interest. Neighbors see it as well. Thanks to MUFON CMS

California UFO Light

RAMONA -- Driving to San Vicente Road at 10:30 pm, on December 28, 2011, I noticed lights at 67 Dye Road intersection. As I drove closer I realized that the lights were circling a farming area multiple times. The object was triangular with one red and one green light in the rear and one white light/spotlight in the front. The object was completely silent and after I stopped my car to watch it passed above me and shone its spotlight on my car.

I felt very scared and called my boyfriend and described what I saw. I was frightened after the light shone into my car and I drove away while on the phone. The drawing shows the light at my car. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Colorado Video Experiences

San Luis Valley -- Christopher O'Brien writes, "For the past two years a team of independent investigators (in conjunction with Orange County MUFON) have been planning a seven-camera surveillance set-up to monitor San Luis Valley. In October the first of these cameras became operational in the center of the SLV at a base station location near Hooper, CO. These are hi-rez Sony surveillance cameras with 36X optical zoom and can be operated remotely over the internet. On December 31, 2011 we had our first unusual sighting event that was recorded for analysis from a longtime SLV skywatcher around 8:30 PM. My wife and I watched a rare light show! The lights were Emerald green with a boomerang shape... This is the second sighting we have seen this past week. A lot has been going on in the San Luis Valley this past week and I am now armed with a video camera.

Two of our team members, Wayne (an amateur astronomer) and Andrew (an electrical engineer) shared the following sighting events that were recorded on video: "Tonight [at 2236 PST, Friday 12/30/2011] may well have been the most dramatic UFO sighting of my life. This one was being recorded in RealShot manager while both Wayne and I (and my 11 year old daughter) watched the live feed from the Hooper camera - and it was awesome. "Wayne confirms, via playback, that the recording is solid. "Wayne called me to announce that around 2236 PST, Friday a bright object had split in two and the independent parts had gone their own way. I got my camera feed up a few minutes later and I determined that we were now observing Mars (I recommend pbs.org sky chart for this - free and no registration). Just a few minutes later at 23:03 PST a very bright object (WAY brighter than Mars) entered frame left and traveled within a couple of seconds horizontally across to exit frame right. Cruise velocity was constant.

The direction was directly east; towards the Great Sand DunesThe elevation was estimated to be at about 40 degrees, zoom was nominal - about 3 bars on the control. No FAA lights or other identifying signs of anything other than a bright light. We were running MPEG4 at 30 fps, so what we saw was pretty much real-time.

"The noteworthy characteristic was that three times it stopped dead and left a bright blob behind directly where it had stopped, and then immediately restarted. No deceleration to a stop was noticeable, and neither was any acceleration back up to cruising speed. It just stopped on a dime for an instant to leave its blob, and started back up immediately. So the final image in my mind was a row of three bright equidistant blobs and this thing racing off towards the south, exit frame right. The blobs faded out, having remained in place, within a couple of seconds, maybe less.

The following day, two "jet black Blackhawk helicopters were reported headed south down the Rio Grande River. Normally, military choppers fly north in the SLV, so this flight path appeared somewhat unusual. Later that evening we had the green bolide event that was witnessed by many across the southwest. Georgia Boomerang

TYBEE ISLAND --We were sitting outside our condo on December 15, 2011, when my husband and I walked towards the street to investigate three police cars making a standard traffic stop. We turned around and were walking back to our condo when two very dark fast grayish black objects barely visible in the shape of a boomerang caught our eyes. The first one flew to the south very fast, and then another craft appeared and darted in a crisscross pattern giving off a white glow and disappeared. Illinois Circle

ROCKFORD -- Standing outside in the evening, something drew my attention on December 20, 2011. It was not easy to see, but once I spotted it I new was UFO. Its shape was like an egg when dropped in a pan, not exactly sphere shaped. Huge, as large as a city block. A jet plane flew in front of it that seemed like a spec in comparison. Forty jets could fit inside this craft. I witnessed the UFO for five minutes. I had a feeling, "There is something big going on here." Thanks to MUFON CMS

Kentucky Creature

Burlington -- I was driving down a residential street in the dark when suddenly my headlights landed on a ~7 foot tall man like creature on December 28, 2011. It almost looked like a very tall standing monkey, but it also resembled a man. It had medium red color fur all over it's body with a translucent aura around it. I had to focus very hard to see these details because it seemed like the creature was moving at 50 mph. I was afraid, of course, but I didn't feel as if it were here to harm me or anyone else. It seemed scared more than anything else. I feel it was trying to hide because it was running right toward a large wooded area. I lost sight of the object within 2-4 seconds of first seeing it because it was moving so fast. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Iowa Object

I was driving home during my hour drive from work with my sister when I saw a very large object that came from behind us and flew directly above us. I saw it above us for about two seconds. I don't remember exactly where we were when I saw it. It was so fast that my sister didn't see it. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Massachusetts Orb

Uxbridge -- There was a light in the sky that flickered blue, red, and white on December 26, 2011. At times the colors were incredibly bright while at other times they looked faded. It was present in the northeast sky at night at around 10 PM and I viewed it for about 30 minutes. It seemed to be moving in a southerly direction at an extremely slow rate of speed. I took pictures of it with a Sony Cyber-shot, but the pictures were barely exposed. My best view of it was with a pair of binoculars.

Missouri Hovering B-2 Bomber

37.96 N 91.83 W. -- I was on I-70 heading west, about the 46 mile marker on December 29, 2011, around 4:40 pm, an object was hovering no more than 50 feet south of the highway at the same height as some towers. There are many radio towers with flashing lights in the area so I thought it was one of those. When I got closer, I could tell it was a b-2 bomber and I was waiting for it to fly by. As I drove under it I realized I had a clear view of the outline of a B-2 bomber shape, but I have never seen one hover. The person in the car next to me was taking pictures. There was traffic so I did not stop and turned around at the next exit. As I drove back, heading east, I could see in the distance, the object had not moved, it was still there. When I got within a half a mile, it took off at the speed. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Nevada Light

Gila -- I had just awakened from sleep on December 31, 2011, at 10:30 PM, and looked out my north facing window at an EXTREMELY bright, silvery, white light over the mountains in the Gila Wilderness. The streak of light was like a meteor with a wobble to it, like the object was spinning. It was EXTREMELY bright, like a stroke of lightning with a slight silvery look about it. It was about the same width as a match head held at arm's length. The path of light was the width of two hands and seemed to slow down as it got lower. At the end of its flight path, it ended in an EXTREMELY bright white that lit up most of the mountain range. Thanks to MUFON CMS

New Jersey Triangle Lights

Dunell -- On December 24, 2011, we saw five orange lights. Three of the lights were in a V formation; while two were off to the left. They were directly above our neighborhood and seemed very low. We heard no sound at all. They were moving west and were climbing in altitude and blinked out one by one. We took a video and also called local police, who responded and also watched the video.

Hillsborough -- My husband and I were outside on the porch at 1:25 AM, on December 20, 2011, when a rod/cigar shaped object moved quickly across the sky. It looked like a thin cloud layer, but it was a definite structure, and completely silent. It appeared to be huge at arm's length it was two inches tall from top to bottom. It was headed southwest, and went between Jupiter and Orion. I have witnessed UFOs before around here. We lost sight of it after a few seconds. My husband also claims afterward, he had a ringing sound (like crickets) in his ears. We felt it was NOT man made. The above image is a rendering. New York City

MANHATTAN -- I am normally a skeptic regarding UFOs. However, I have spent the whole night looking for a reasonable explanation. I was sitting on top of my rooftop in New York City with my female friend. We both saw these dullish lights start fading into view high in the sky on December 22, 2011. It was whitish light in small blotches similar to the lights over Phoenix sky. Suddenly a small orb seems to shoot out around the object and made a very quick and sudden movement then faded from view. This object looked like some sort of small craft. Fifteen minutes passed as we tried to figure out a way to take some pictures. Then a bright white ball flash came down from the sky above the Alliance Building like a meteor but may have fallen past the city line. Five minutes later the circular shaped dull lights started to fade. We watched an incredibly beautiful, show as they maneuvered around. NOTE: The above item is a rendering. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Pennsylvania Light Formation

New Brighton -- I was driving home from my boyfriend's house and saw two lights in the sky, one was very much brighter than the other and twinkling different colors. At first I thought they were Venus and Jupiter. I kept my eye on them and about two minutes later I approached a stop sign in a very dark area and grabbed my phone to take a picture. I could clearly tell there was one object in the sky in front me. I could see ten small white lights along the side of the object. I turned left toward home and saw a black triangle moving very slowly above me. It had a small white light at each corner, and a small red light in the middle. I kept my eye on it til it went over the hillside, only slightly above the trees.

When I came home I started researching UFO's and was pretty scared to see that these Black Triangles have been seen many times before. The Pittsburgh Int'l Airport and the 911th Air Wing are near me, so I am used to planes. Thanks to MUFON CMS

South Carolina Triangle

Simpsonville --I was sitting in the car outside of Wal-Mart, when I saw this grayish plane flying high in the sky on August 26, 2009. I took two pictures of it, but never knew what kind of plane it was.

A friend at work told me it looked like a Navy stealth jet that was cancelled years back.

The sighting took place a few years ago in Simpsonville, South Carolina. I believe it was called an A3 Jet?

Tennessee Wing

Greeneville Tn. Pauline E. Petsel is taking photographs of UFOs on a regular basis. Pauline Petsel writes, "I have taken thousands of pictures over the last three years; sometimes I take fifty to one hundred images a night. Some months we don't see anything, but usually between the 6th to 9th of the month and the 22nd to 29th they show up. Last year, in October, November, and December it was unbelievable several times a week. In October, and November there were UFOs almost every day. It seems to have slowed, but I have still shots using my Nikon 300 on a tripod using a shutter release. There are probably 17 of us who have joined together because we are seeing these things. One woman who lives five miles away is getting the same pictures as I do. Behind' the lights I've found 'solid' looking stuff and 'crafts! Utah Strange Lights

Cedar Hills -- My wife and I were driving home from my sister's house when I saw a light in the sky on December 24, 2011. I pointed it out to her and she stopped the car. We both got out of the car and observed three orange objects that at first looked like an orb, but as they flew closer to us that were shaped like a small triangle, no larger than five feet in diameter. The lights were coming from the north towards us. They were at differing altitude, from 100 to 500 feet off the ground. We saw two very bright lights south of us so we drove to a nearby park and took a few more pictures of them. They were oval, and a very bright white light. We drove home and found that we could see them very well from there. In all we saw four bright white objects, moving around a stationary object that was on the top of the mountain.

I went back tonight to confirm that the stationary light is in fact something on the top of the mountain over Saratoga Springs, though we do not know why the objects were flying around it. The video shows their movement, and their extreme brightness. Thanks to MUFON CMS

BLUE MOUNTAIN, ONTARIO -- Coming back home on January 1, 2012, I saw a stationary hovering object, and v shaped orange lights. I parked the car in garage and went back outside and object was gone. It was seen by at least six others. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Columbia Moving Object

BOGOT -- I was on a municipal bus with my brother and saw that something was moving slowly high in the sky on December 25, 2011. I thought it was a plane, but it was still and then moved very quickly. I grabbed a cell phone and recorded it. When you were recording the object is standing still and suddenly I was not able to capture well as the bus was moving a lot. When I went to look at the object it was gone, but in the video it shows up fine as the object moves rapidly from the place. Thanks to MUFON CMS

China Disc

A series of otherwise unexplainable UFO and alien occurrences have shaken the world's most populous nation. Government officials have been summoned to Beijing from around the country in a last ditch effort to hold together the remaining vestiges of China's now failed UFO cover-up policy. However it appears that the government's efforts might be futile as the results from a recent poll indicate that at least 95% of Chinese citizens are fairly certain that aliens are visiting Earth and China in particular. Some of the events that have rocked China in recent weeks include: In the city of Guiyang, hundreds of locals witnessed two huge discs cross the skies above their homes. The UFOs changed color, going from purple to neon blue and emitting enough light to fill the entire area with an eerie glow. Journalists sent in to cover the event described the discs as "nothing earthly".

In Changsha a huge rotating spherical UFO was seen by frightened residents as it descended to just above ground level. Further south in the town of Donguan, a white saucer-shaped UFO was spotted amidst a thunderstorm by frightened onlookers.

A UFO was seen land in a military cemetery in the town of T'ian. At least twenty government scientists were rushed to Beijing where a conference entirely devoted to this incident was hurriedly convened. The scientists issued a report concluding that the UFO was merely an optical illusion. Not many locals were convinced.

As these events unfolded the footage below was uploaded on to the Chinese internet. It shows what many have described as one of the most convincing images of an alien craft seen by the public to date.

The Chinese government appears to be playing down public fears regarding the obvious alien presence through a tactic of denial; insiders claim however that the real focus now is simply on how to break the news without disrupting people's lives and threatening the economy. http://www.facebook.com/allnewsweb

Ireland UFOs Up

UFO sightings across Ireland have increased by nearly 70% in just three years. The UFO Research Association of Ireland revealed that 59 incidents were reported in 2011, compared with 42 the year before and just 35 in 2009. Association founder Adam Tallon suggested people are becoming more open to the possibility of UFOs and therefore feel more comfortable reporting a sighting to its website.

"I would like to believe that there is life out in the universe somewhere, whether it's walking, or talking beings or microscopic bacteria I don't know," said Mr. Tallon. The association has been able to attribute most sightings to ball lighting and Chinese lanterns but its main interests lie in UFOs that cannot be explained by conventional means. According to its website, these include incidents where the objects seem to be intelligently controlled or have been seen carrying out precise maneuvers that are impossible for any known air or space crafts. Mr. Tallon founded the group in 2005, and became the UFO Research Association of Ireland in 2008. "There is a slow but gradual increase in incidents being reported which I attribute to there wasn't really any place to report incidents prior to our organization and people are more comfortable reporting an incident compared to ten say 10 years ago."

Iraq UFOs

Last night, I was talking to a friend from the army who is an engineer who has been in Kuwait and Iraq. He is the one who looks at the radar for jets or missiles. He told me few secrets that yes UFOs are real and out there. They know every thing, but keep it all secret. With night vision binoculars he could see UFOs. Mexico Mothership

Tijuana -- Here is a video taken December 25, 2011, that is making the rounds on UFO web sites and blogs. The submitter calls the object a "Mother Ship, and states that the object is ejecting smaller UFOs. The YouTube video is quite long, and we are showing only a small portion of it.

Sea birds were in the vicinity, and had appeared in shots taken from another vantage point facing east; however none were noticed in other shots taken within seconds of this photograph.

If you are getting more sighting reports than listed here, please be sure to enter them manually into CMS. To make this happen automatically, make sure your local MUFON Website is pointing to the CMS Reporting form on www.mufon.com and direct all calls you get to the MUFON website so that witnesses can enter their own report directly into CMS.

The Betty and Barney Hill Experience

On September 19, 1961, Betty and Barney Hill were relaxed and enjoying their bright starlit drive along US Route 3, Northern New Hampshire’s major north-south route. From the top of Mount Washington, visibility was 130 miles and the waxing gibbous moon was about two thirds full. It was the last leg of their journey home to New Hampshire’s seacoast after a brief vacation in Niagara Falls, NY, and Montreal, Canada.

South of Lancaster, Betty’s interest was aroused by what she at first thought was a falling star, until it suddenly paused in the southwest sky and inched its way upward, stopping next to the moon. As Betty watched the star-like object, it grew larger. South of Twin Mountain, she and Barney stopped at a roadside picnic area in order to walk their dog. This gave her the opportunity to view the object through binoculars. Betty watched as it traveled across the face of the moon flashing multi-colored lights. By the time she handed the binoculars to Barney, the object had changed course, and shortly thereafter, rapidly descended in their direction.

Franconia Notch

Back in the car, Betty was awestruck by the perplexing object that seemed to be pacing them. Barney made a second stop near the Old Man of the Mountain, in Franconia Notch, to observe the ever descending silent craft. It rapidly changed direction, ascended and descended vertically and hovered motionless in the sky. This enigmatic phenomenon piqued Barney's interest and confounded his sensibility. His skepticism left no room for the nonsensical belief in flying saucers. However, although he remained cool for Betty's sake, he was quietly ruminating about the remarkable sight. He knew that it was different than anything he had ever seen before.

The Close Encounter

As they motored south of the Indian Head area of North Lincoln, almost directly in their path, the couple encountered a huge flattened circular disc with a row of intense blue-white lighted windows along its forward edge. Barney rapidly brought the car to a halt in the middle of the road and grabbed his binoculars for a closer look, opening the car door for a less encumbered view. The silent hovering object descended to an estimated eighty to a hundred feet above their vehicle. Rapidly, in an arc like movement, it shifted from its location directly ahead, and rested above the tree tops in an adjacent field. Barney pocketed his handgun and walked toward it. The silent enigmatic craft was huge; maybe sixty to eighty feet in diameter. As he approached it, two red lights at the end of fin-like structures parted from the sides of the craft, and it tilted toward Barney.

Lifting his binoculars to his eyes, he spied a group of figures that were "somehow not human" moving about with the precision of German officers. As the craft tilted downward and began to descend toward him, one of these strange creatures, who remained at the window, communicated a frightening message. Barney had the immediate impression that he was in danger of being plucked from the field. Overcome with fear and with all of the courage that he could muster, he tore the binoculars from his eyes and raced back to the car. Breathless, trembling, and in near hysterics, he told Betty that they needed to get out of there or they were going to be captured.

Rhythmic Buzzing Sounds

As Barney rapidly accelerated down the highway in an attempt to escape from the craft, it shifted directly overhead. Suddenly, rhythmic "buzzing" tones seemed to bounce off the trunk of their vehicle and they sensed a penetrating vibration. They drove on without speaking until 35 miles down the road, once again they heard a second series of buzzing sounds. Vague memories of encountering a roadblock, of seeing a huge fiery red-orange orb resting upon the ground, and feeling a desire for human contact preoccupied their thoughts. They looked for an open restaurant to no avail, so they drove on through Concord, picked up Route 4 and made a beeline to Portsmouth, expecting to arrive at approximately 3:00 A.M. The Hills were surprised to notice that, as they crossed into Portsmouth, dawn was already streaking the sky.

Physical Evidence

The Hills were startled to find shiny concentric circles on their car's trunk. When a compass was placed over the spots, the needle would whirl. But when it was moved to another area on the vehicle, the needle dropped down. Their watches had stopped and never ran again. The leather binocular strap had been severed.

Betty's favorite dress had been in fine shape when she dressed on the morning of September 19. But when she returned home, there was a 2' tear at the top of her zipper. The lining was torn from waist to hemline. And the hem was torn down on one side. Later, she discovered that it was coated with a strange pink powder that had degraded the fabric and reduced it to a rag. It has been analyzed by five laboratories. No one can explain the mystery.

The tops of Barney's best dress shoes were scraped. He had to purchase new shoes. His pant legs were covered with vegetative matter. Later, a concentric circle of wart-like growths appeared on his groin. They were removed when they became inflamed during his hypnosis sessions with Dr. Benjamin SImon. They were not venereal warts.

Project Bluebook Report

The day after the sighting, Betty phoned the 100^th Bomb Wing SAC at Pease Air Force Base in neighboring Newington, New Hampshire to report an unidentified flying object. She and Barney gave the interviewing officer a general description of the craft they observed. Barney omitted his observation of the humanoid figures fearing that he might be thought a “crackpot.” Later that day, Major Paul W. Henderson phoned the Hills and questioned both of them extensively. According to Betty, he seemed very interested in the wing-like structures that telescoped out from each side of the pancake shaped craft and the red lights on their tips.

As an “ADDITIONAL ITEM”, Major Henderson included information about a radar observation at 2:14 AM. Although it was not possible to determine any relationship between the two observations, as the radar observation provided no description, time and distance between the events, he stated, could hint of a possible relationship.

Letter to NICAP

On September 26, after reading a book she found at the public library, Betty typed a letter to Major Donald Keyhoe, director of the civilian UFO group, NICAP, in which she described the encounter. She stated that Barney had observed figures dressed in black, shiny uniforms looking down at him as he stood in a field. They were scurrying about as though they were making some hurried type of preparation. Barney had returned to the car in a hysterical condition, laughing and repeating that they were going to capture the Hills. She mentioned that they were considering the possibility of contacting “a competent psychiatrist who uses hypnotism” to assist Barney in removing the mental block that prevented him from recalling whatever he saw in the field that caused him to panic and develop a mental block.

Betty's Dreams

A few days later, Betty had the first of a series of five frightening dreams/nightmares, which she jotted down on note paper and, two months later, typed into a detailed account. Although the nightmares failed to follow a sequential story line, Betty rearranged them in logical order. Thus, she developed a frightening dreamlike account of abduction by aliens from another solar system. Barney was working nights and was not at home. When she mentioned her dreams to him, he stated tht they were only dreams and she should not be concerned by them. He refused to read her dream account but did overhear Betty explaining part of a dream to Walter Webb. Later, skeptics would argue that the abduction has no foundation in reality—that Betty’s nightmares are nearly identical to her and Barney’s hypnotic recall of abduction. This contention has been refuted through Kathleen Marden’s comparative analysis of the hypnosis transcripts. Although much of Betty's recall of the capture and physical examination aboard a flying saucer are similar to her dream account, there are significant differences. Betty and Barney recalled identical detailed information that wasn't in Betty's dreams and even contradicted the information in Betty's dreams. (See Hill Hypnosis Tapes VS Betty's Dreams.)

The Investigation

On October 21, 1961, NICAP investigator, Walter Webb, initiated his confidential preliminary investigation at the Hills’ home, interviewing them together and separately for a six-hour period. They had conscious recall for the close encounter with a large, silent hovering disk and the two sets of code-like buzzing sounds that seemed to strike the trunk of their vehicle. Barney described the figures he observed in detail remarking that they were "somehow not human."

NICAP members Robert Hohmann and CD Jackson, along with Major James MacDonald (retired A.F. Intelligence officer), interviewed the Hills on November 25, 1961. On this day, the Hills realized that their drive that should have taken approximately four hours to complete had taken seven. They were previously aware that they arrived home later than they had anticipated. But they had no mundane explanation for the 2-3 hour time discrepancy. Their only "lost time" memories were of a fiery orb in the road silhouetted against a stand of trees, a sharp unplanned turn off the main highway, and a roadblock, without knowing where or when it occurred.

On March 12, 1962, Betty contacted Dr. Patrick Quirk, a psychiatrist from Georgetown, MA, to request an appointment. Dr. Quirk did not attempt hypnosis. He recommended that the Hills should wait to see if more conscious memories of the experience would emerge. Betty and Barney were beginning to remember information that they had previously forgotten and Dr. Quirk explained that, in time, they would remember more without the use of hypnosis.

PTSD

In 1963, Barney developed a physically debilitating condition, which forced him take a three month leave of absence from his job at the U.S. Post Office. His traditional medical treatment was augmented by psychotherapy, but his health did not improve. At one appointment, Barney mentioned his continuing anxiety over his apparent amnesia and requested a referral to a competent psychiatrist who used hypnosis. His psychotherapist, Dr. Stevens agreed to set up an appointment with neuro-psychiatrist Dr. Benjamin Simon whose outstanding career included expertise in the use of deep trance hypnosis.

Hypnosis Sessions

Early in 1964, the Hills began what would amount to six months of separate hypnotic regression and therapy sessions (hypno-analysis), with Dr. Simon, who knew almost nothing about UFOs, and according to the NICAP investigator's report, refused to read any of the UFO sighting reports he gave to him. He induced amnesia at the end of each session for two reasons: 1. to protect the Hills from remembering their traumatic memories 2. to prevent the Hills from discussing their memories until he had completed his hypnosis sessions. An uncannily consistent dual recall of alien abduction emerged that was somewhat inconsistent with the details of Betty’s dream account.

The Publicity

Were it not for a violation of confidentiality, all of this would have remained undisclosed. However, on October 25, 1965, the Hills’ greatest fear was realized when a Boston newspaper published, for five days, a detailed account of the Hills’ UFO encounter and abduction experience.

Kathleen Marden’s Biographical Profile

Scientific ufologist Kathleen Marden has engaged in UFO abduction research and investigation for more than 21 years. She received formal training as a social worker, educator and hypnotherapist. She was awarded a B.A. degree with honors from the University of New Hampshire and participated in graduate studies in education at the University of Cincinnati and U.N.H.. During her fifteen years as an educator, she innovated, designed and implemented model educational programs. She also held a supervisory position, coordinating, training and evaluating education staff. Additionally, she taught adult education classes on UFO and abduction history.

She is the niece of Betty and Barney Hill, the NH couple whose 1961 UFO abduction stirred worldwide interest, and trustee of their extensive UFO collection. Kathy was a primary witness to the evidence of their 1961 UFO encounter and the aftermath. After Betty’s death in 2004, Kathy compiled two permanent archival collections for the Milne Special Collection and Archives Department at the UNH Library. The Hills’ civil rights collection is comprised of documents, letters, photographs and newspaper articles pertaining to Betty’s and Barney’s social and political activities.  The UFO collection contains all of all the correspondence, articles, and other material from Betty’s extensive files, including new material, Betty’s dress, and the forensic paintings of her captors by NH artist, David Baker. She has also transcribed the Hills’ hypnosis audio tapes and conducted a comparative analysis of the Hills’ individual testimony versus Betty’s dream account of alien abduction.

For ten years Kathy served on the MUFON Board of Directors as the Director of Field Investigator Training. In 2003, MUFON publicly recognized Kathy for her outstanding contribution of advancing the scientific study of the UFO phenomenon and demonstrating positive leadership. That same year she was the recipient of the dedication of the MUFON 2003 International UFO Symposium Proceedings. She is currently a member of MUFON’s Abduction Research Team.

Her articles have appeared in several magazines.  Her book Captured! The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Experience, (with nuclear physicist/scientific ufologist Stanton Friedman) was published in 2007. Her second book, Science was Wrong, also with Stan, was published in June 2010. Her chapter “UFO Abductions: Fact or Fiction” appears in the new book UFOs and Aliens: Is There Anybody Out There?. Kathy has appeared on television and radio programs in the US, Canada and Europe.  Additionally, she has lectured at locations throughout the United States.

Dreams or Recall on the Hill Abduction Hypnosis Tapes

The scientific investigation of the 9/19-20/1961 Betty and Barney Hill UFO encounter has been supported by the abundance of evidence that something anomalous occurred. It is bolstered by the professional competence of early investigators, such as Walter Webb, Robert Hohmann, C.D. Jackson, Dr. J. Allen Hynek, Dr. James McDonald, Marjorie Fish, Stanton T. Friedman and Dr. James Harder. However, skeptical literature is teeming allegations that the reported alien abduction was nothing more than a fantasy dreamed by Betty over a five night period and absorbed by Barney when he overheard her retell the tale to Walter Webb and others.

Barney, who admitted that he had overheard snippets of Betty’s dreams, informed Dr. Simon, “I just told her it was a dream and nothing to get alarmed about…I can’t believe whatever these dreams are that she is having…I never believed her dreams.”(3/21/64 hypnosis transcript)  Dr. Benjamin Simon reported on the Larry Glick Show in 1975 that he thought Betty so strongly believed her dreams that she repeated them as fantasies during her hypnosis sessions. During the 1965 hypnosis sessions, he also expressed that Barney had unintentionally absorbed the information in Betty’s dream account.

Although he was willing to accept the possibility that the Hills observed an unidentified flying object in the night sky on September 19-20, 1961, (though not necessarily an extraterrestrial craft), he stated that their abduction accounts were so nearly identical that one had to have obtained the information from the other, particularly since in 1964, alien abduction had never been reported. He added that although anything is possible, he felt that kidnapping by extraterrestrial aliens seemed improbable to him. (He knew almost nothing about UFOs.)

Dr. Simon stated of the Hill account to Larry Glick, "Barney and Betty gave the same story and this story was precisely like the story that was written up by the NICAP investigator. There were no differences between the three. It was the same story they gave consciously...There was no difference. They both shared the same story all the way."

He continued, "It had me in a bind and I was now faced with certain decisions and I couldn't make them. I was faced with a story that was very fantastic. If this were real and true, I would have to believe that these supposed people were from outer space...I believed in their honesty, but this story was fantastic and unreal and had to be accepted or rejected."

Many of you have read about the Hills’ close encounter with an 80’ silent, hovering craft south of Indian Head in Lincoln, NH. Barney’s conscious description of the figures on board, copied from NICAP investigator Walter Webb’s October 1961 confidential report, can be found on page 52 in my book Captured! The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Experience, co-written with nuclear physicist/scientific ufologist Stanton T. Friedman.

Overview of the Close Encounter 

It has been well established through early investigation reports that Betty and Barney consciously recalled a series of buzzing/beeping sounds that caused their vehicle to vibrate and a tingling sensation to pass through their bodies as the UFO hovered above their vehicle.

Later, they consciously recalled observing a fiery orb and a roadblock on an unfamiliar stretch of road, followed by another series of buzzing/beeping sounds approximately thirty-five miles south of the first occurrence.

When they arrived home later than expected, they observed and reported perplexing physical and circumstantial evidence for which they had no prosaic explanation. There were 12-18 shiny, magnetized circles on their car’s trunk that hadn't been there the day before. Their watches  were broken. The leather binocular strap was severed. The toes of Barney’s best dress shoes were so badly scraped that he relegated them to yard work attire. Betty's good dress was torn in several places--the top of her zipper, the lining and the hemline. (Later, Betty reported to investigators that her dress was coated with a pink powdery substance.)

It was the period of missing time and the subsequent decline in Barney’s health that finally took Barney, accompanied by Betty, to Dr. Simon’s office on December 14,1963. The events that unfolded under six months of separate hypnotherapy with amnesia imposed at the end of each session are well documented in John G. Fuller’s The Interrupted Journey (1966) and my book Captured! The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Experience, with Stanton Friedman. (2007).  

Although I was a primary witness to the evidence and the aftermath, my own investigation and research was delayed until the late 1980s. Finally, after several years of intensive study I convinced Betty (1996) to allow me to test the hypothesis that Barney had merely absorbed her dream account and that she had reiterated her dreams nearly verbatim in Dr. Simon’s office. This research approach is clearly amenable within the framework of social science, and also gave me the opportunity to answer the question that had been nagging at me for thirty-two years—were my aunt and uncle really abducted by alien beings?

Hypnosis Sessions

 Barney’s first hypnotic regression transpired on February 22, 1964 in a soundproof room at Dr. Simon’s Back Bay office in Boston, MA. To insure privacy Dr. Simon played bombastic classical in the room where Betty waited for Barney.  At the end of each session he reinstated amnesia in both Betty and Barney to ensure that no cross-contamination of information would occur and to protect his patients’ psychological well-being.  He reasoned that if the traumatic event, for which they had amnesia, entered their conscious memories too early it could produce added trauma.

I listened to the tapes several times, and when I felt that I had a full understanding of what had occurred, I transcribed the hypnosis tapes and performed a detailed dissection of the Hills’ individual statements for my comparative analysis.  It was then that I realized how much I (and probably Dr. Simon) had missed simply by listening to the Hills' statements.

With a couple of exceptions, that were easily worked out in later sessions, the Hills’ separate accounts for which they retained conscious memory were amazingly consistent.  I was anxious to compare Betty’s dreams with the several accounts detailed under hypnotic regression. (Dr. Simon revisited the Hills’ testimony several times in order to clear up what seemed at first to be inconsistencies.)

In “Dreams or Recall?” Betty wrote, “…I saw 8-11 men standing in the middle of the road.  Barney slowed down to wait for them to move, but the motor died.  As he was trying to start the motor, the men surrounded the car.”(11/61)

My Comparative Analysis of the Capture

Now let us compare this account to Barney’s hypnotic recall.  He stated, “I think I have driven a lot of miles and the road is not Route 3.  It is a heavily wooded area but it is a road, and this is when I am flagged down…I thought I saw a cluster of six men, because three came to me and three did not.” (2/29/64) The discrepancy is obvious. 

In Betty’s dream account 8-11 men surrounded the Hills’ vehicle, whereas Barney recalled six men who divided into two groups. Betty’s hypnotic recall is inconsistent with her dream account but consistent with Barney’s statement.

She reported, “There were these men standing in the highway…There were several…And Barney, of course, had to stop…and these men started to come up to the car.  They separated.  They came up in two groups…And there are one, two, three next to me.”(3/7/64)

“Dreams or Recall?” continues, “We sat there motionless and speechless, and I was terrified.  At the same time, they opened the car doors on each side, reached in and took us by the arm.” (11/61)

In Betty’s and Barney’s hypnotic regression sessions, a new scenario emerged that contradicted Betty’s dream account. Barney recalled, “I saw two eyes coming close to mine and I felt like the eyes had pushed into my eyes….I got out of the car and put my left leg on the ground, and the two men helped me out.”(2/29/64)

Now let us examine Betty’s statement made under hypnosis: “The men are coming toward us and I think I can get away from them.  If I can get the car door open I can run into the woods and hide. And I just put my hand on the car door to open it and the men come up and they open it for me.” Betty reported that although there were three men next to her, one took her out of the vehicle. Next, Dr. Simon stated that he didn’t hear her last statement and in a very confusing sentence, Betty started to count the men over and over again. Then she added, “I don’t know what happened.”(3/7/64)

She later informed me that she had lost consciousness when a handheld device was pointed at her. Again the Hills’ hypnotic regression statements are consistent, but they are inconsistent with Betty’s dream account. They did not sit motionless. Barney opened the car door and put his foot on the ground and Betty attempted to open her door to escape into the woods.

I suspected that Betty slipped into her dream account after she lost consciousness. Her dream account reads, “I am walking through a path in the woods. Tall trees are on both sides, but next to me on both sides is a man; two men in front; two men in back; then Barney with a man on each side of him; other men in back of him.”(11/61)

In “Dreams or Recall?” she counts ten escorts, whereas in Dr. Simon’s office, she and Barney had previously counted a total of six at their car doors, or perhaps eight in all. (Betty’s statements become a bit confusing.)

My Comparative Analysis of the Journey to the Ramp

Her hypnotic recall is nearly identical to her dream sequence when she states, “I open my eyes and I’m walking through the woods!...and there’s a man on this (right) side and an man on this (left) side, and two men in front of me…and there’s a couple of men behind me, and then there’s Barney…and there’s a man on each side of him.”(3/7/64) Her hypnotic recall omits the two men behind Barney that she mentioned in her dream account. Otherwise, her statement to Dr. Simon matches her dream almost verbatim.

The comparative analysis becomes tricky when Betty and Barney approach the ramp leading to the craft’s interior.  Betty’s dream account states, “We stepped up a step or two to go onto a ramp, leading to a door.” On 3/7/64 Betty omitted the steps when she told Dr. Simon, “I go up the ramp, and I go inside and in the corridor to the left.”

On 2/29.64, Barney stated, “I am only thinking of mental pictures because my eyes are closed, and I think I am going up a slight incline, and my feet are not bumping on the rocks.  That's funny, I thought of my feet bumping on the rocks. And they are going up smoothly, but I'm afraid to open my eyes because I am being told strongly, by myself, to keep my eyes closed.  Don't open them.” Barney’s omission of steps is consistent with Betty’s statement to Dr. Simon, but both contradict Betty’s dream account. 

Separate Experiences

The Hills are then escorted to separate examining rooms and both recall similarly detailed, but separate experiences with their captors. Although there is correlating data in their statements regarding procedures, attitudes and room descriptions, I chose not to include it in this comparative analysis. Additionally, the sequential order of Betty’s onboard experience differs from that in her dream account. My research protocol dictated that my data should be restricted to shared descriptive details, including positional and numerical data; not physical descriptions.

The Hills' Departure from the Craft

This takes us to the point where the Hills and their captors share a common area in the corridor at the time of departure. Betty’s dream   account  reads, “We left the ship and walked through the woods…All the men accompanied us. We came to the car and the leader suggested  that we wait and see them leave. We agreed. Barney seemed to wake up as we approached the car, and he showed no emotion. We stood on the right-hand side of the car, Barney was leaning against the front fender, and I was by the door. As we were waiting, I thought of Delsey. I opened the car door and Delsey was under the seat. She was trembling badly, and I patted her for a moment. She came out and I picked her up, and held her, again leaning against the car door.”

Betty contradicts her dream account when she states to Dr. Simon, “I've been standing there on the side of the ramp talking to him, and I'm at  the ramp now, and they're taking Barney ahead while we were talking. “ (3/14/64 hypnosis session)  

Barney’s statement is consistent with Betty’s hypnotic recall but inconsistent with Betty’s dream account. He informed Dr. Simon, “I am walking and I am walking, and I am being guided and my eyes are closed. And I open my eyes and there is the car, and the lights are off and it is not running. And Delsey is under the seat, and I reach under and touch her, and she is in a tight ball. And I sit back and I see Betty is coming down the road.” (2/29/64)

This comparative analysis reveals that Betty and Barney did not leave the craft at the same time and were not escorted to their vehicle by all of the men. Barney was returned by the crew, while Betty remained on the craft arguing with the leader. Finally, the leader escorted Betty to the car where Barney was already seated on the driver’s side. On 3/14/64, Barney added, “I saw my car and the lights were out and it was sitting down the road…very dark.  And I couldn't understand…I had not cut out the lights, and I opened the door, and felt for Delsey. And got in and I sat on my gun, and I took it...removed it from the seat, and put it down on the floor. And Betty was coming down the road and she came around and opened the door".

Betty added, “I got out to the car and Barney's inside and I opened the car door and I said, "Come on out and watch them leave…Delsey's sitting on the seat where I sit and I felt of Delsey and she is trembling all over. And she's scared, so I said, Well Barney, come on out and I'll get Delsey." And I picked Delsey up off the seat and I'm holding Delsey and I'm patting her and I'm saying, "Don't be afraid, Delsey. There's nothing to be afraid of.  Look Delsey, look."  And I'm leaning against the fender of the car and I shut the car door and I'm leaning against the fender and I'm looking up and I say, "Barney, look." And Barney comes out and stands aside of me and I'm patting Delsey "

It is clear that Betty and Barney’s statements to Dr. Simon independently confirm that they did not return to the car at the same time. This is in direct contradiction to Betty’s dream recall.  Additionally, both stated that Barney was seated in the driver’s seat when Betty arrived at the car. This statement is inconsistent with Betty’s dream sequence.  In Betty’s dream, she opens the car door to remove Delsey from under the seat, but under hypnosis she states that Delsey is on the car seat.  Barney confirmed Betty’s statement that he then exited the car and stood beside her to observe the craft’s departure.

My Conclusion

The above statements provide evidence that Betty and Barney Hill recalled correlating detailed positional and numerical information regarding their abduction experience.  Further, this information is inconsistent with Betty’s dream recollection, and therefore could not have been transferred to Barney by Betty. Nor could Betty have been restating the fantasy material in her dreams. Because the Hills amnesia remained intact during their hypnosis sessions, they could not have contaminated each other’s recall.  These findings clearly support the abduction hypothesis and refute the dream transference hypothesis.

Belgen melden 271 UFO's in een jaar

29/12 Tussen augustus 2010 en juli 2011 kwamen er 271 meldingen van vreemde luchtverschijnselene bij het Belgisch UFO-meldpunt. Dat zijn er 17 minder dan een jaar eerder in dezelfde periode. Dat maakte de organisatie zelf bekend.

Voor de meeste van die meldingen werd ook vrij snel een verklaringen gevonden. In 70 procent van de gevallen ging het om een vuurballon. Vaak werden ook gewoon meteoren, vliegtuigen of het Internationaal Ruimtestation (ISS) als UFO aanzien.

De piek was er in januari 2011 toen er 33 meldingen binnenkwamen. De vele vuurballonnen die in de nacht van oud op nieuw de lucht in werden gelaten, waren daarvoor verantwoordelijk.

De meest opmerkelijke verklaring voor een aantal meldingen is de VERHEES-Delta: een klein, driehoekig vliegtuigje(zie foto).

Sightings of UFOs were also reported in the Atlantic Ocean, Australia, Canada, France, Portugal, South Africa, and England in the United Kingdom.

The purpose of these files is to report the UFO eyewitness and photo/video evidence that occurs on a daily basis around the world and in space. These Files assume that extraterrestrial intelligent life not only exists, but my hypothesis is that the over a thousand UFOs reported each month represent technologically advanced spacecraft conducting surveillance of Earth. I personally became interested in UFOs when London Control ordered me to intercept one over England while flying for the US Air Force. Under Project Blue Book, the US Air Force investigated UFOs for more than twenty years; and we continue this research. I believe the God of the universe has spread life throughout the cosmos and UFO's are visiting us in ever-increasing numbers.

Scientists Suggest Finding Alien Structures on the Moon

Paul Davies and Robert Wagner of Arizona State University have suggested a crowd-sourcing effort to find artificial structures on the moon. After all, lunar missions like NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter are returning some dazzling, high-resolution imagery of the moon's surface. If aliens have been there, perhaps we could spot evidence of their presence.

Michael Bara suggests Astronauts have already found evidence of artificial dome structures on the north shore of Mare Crisium . Apollo 10 frame AS10-32-4421 was part of a sequence of photos that seem to show transparent domes designed to hold in atmosphere and occasionally reflect sunlight. The Astronauts' Cernan or Young had a sense of what they were looking for as they circled the moon. The "Double Domes" seem to be visible as outlined in yellow. There is also a possible "Face" on the left. The shape of the Dome and its placement in front of the background highlands are fully corroborated.

Tom Reed Abduction Case: part 3

I spent the weekend with Tom Reed at the Tennessee MUFON Nashville/Murfreesboro Conference and heard Tom's story of abductions and spoke with him privately and feel he is telling the truth regarding his family - brother Matthew, mother Nancy, and grandmother have a documented history of multi-generational abductions that would span over fifty years, and five states MUFON. Investigators - Steve White and Max Mitchell are responsible for investigating the case and providing much of the information. They picked me up at the Nashville Airport for the conference.

Angie, Thomas' future wife, would move in with him. Angie AB Rh negative, became pregnant and things started up again. After leaving a black tie dinner at a local country club, Tom and Angie witnessed the landing of a craft within 100 yards of their car in Glastonbury, Connecticut.

Thomas shared the family abduction history from the start with Angie, and how his mother was first abducted in 1954. When his mother and as difficult as it was to talk about, discussed it back in the 1950's with her mother, Thomas' grandmother, the grandmother would reveal to Nancy she also had been abducted as a child. Tom continued with the history and due to the pregnancy, would share his thoughts regarding the indoctrination period of select children.

Thomas and Angie moved to Fort Myers, Florida, where their son, Christopher was born. After Chris is taken home, he is found moved from face up to face down in his crib. Other effects such as rocking chairs rocking with nobody in them occurred.

Around the same time, a televised news report of a local man abducted from Fort Myers Beach makes local news. Tom and Angie were now concerned for Christopher. Thomas contacted the Miami MUFON chapter in 1994. Thomas and Anglia attended an abduction group in Fort Myers, and the investigation began. At this time, he handed over the drawings of symbols that he remembered from his time aboard the craft to the abduction's group director, who forwarded them for verification.

When they were returned, it was stated that they matched markings never before revealed to the public. Thomas speaks with Mary Zimmer, MUFON Assistant State Director. Angie became exhausted dealing with the abductions, and she had now had enough. Chris remained with Thomas after he and Angie divorced. Chris is a gifted boy and has been placed in accelerated programs and is especially high, in the 99 percentile in math by the 2nd grade.

In 2005, Thomas car was struck while sitting at a stoplight by tractor trailer truck in Boca Raton, Florida. He then moved to east Tennessee with Christopher, Matthew moved to Indiana. On his way home from work in April, 2009, Matthew awoke several miles off his normal route home with three hours of missing time and contacts MUFON.

Investigator Stewart Hill will document that the rear of the SUV is affecting a compass. There are other reports of UFO activity in the area. Thomas spoke with his brother Matthew and in time would also file a report with MUFON. Thomas also files a report with Steve White, a C.C. Detective with the Roane County Sheriff's Office and an Investigator with MUFON, after Thomas and his girlfriend are again experiencing activity in their home.

Chris has another series of awful nose bleeds. Steve and Thomas go over 50 years of abduction reports. Steve contacts the Assistant Director of MUFON in Miami who had been in contact with Thomas for over ten years. On February 2, 2010, Thomas awoke at 2:35 AM, to find himself hovering over his bed in a frozen state in an illuminated room. His feet and legs were near the ceiling fan, and his head and neck were on the bed and pillow, his arms were fixed to his side.

With every bit of his strength he was able to move his arm about two feet to the bed's headboard. He could not breathe or move for about 15 seconds. Then the room darkened and he was back in his bed and still wide awake.

Thomas awoke again in February in the same frozen state, unable to breath, wide awake this time sideways in the bedroom floating next to the window above his tanning bed, feet next to the window. The only thing he could move was his eyes, again 2:33 AM. Thomas met with Steve and the Director of the Tennessee MUFON Chapter in Knoxville. He is asked if Thomas would agree to speak alongside of Travis Walton in Nashville in September, 2010. Thomas agrees and per MUFON's request, undergoes regression hypnosis. Both Thomas and his son Christopher have exhibited some form of remote viewing capability with Chris exhibiting more than Thomas. Some of Christopher's ability was witnessed by the Knoxville Hypnosis Center, June 16, 2010.

Thomas would meet MUFON'S Investigator Steve White at a licensed polygraph service in Knoxville. This well respected polygraph office has been in business over 20 years. It is owned and operated by a retired police officer. This same officer discussed the events and history for over 3 hours in detail before submitting Thomas the polygraph. Star of Bethlehem

Kenneth Larson writes, "During the Christmas season, I noted a comment on the Internet that according to the Bible Jesus Christ is half alien and half human. This might explain the theory that the "star" of Bethlehem (St.Matthew 2) could have been a UFO that guided the wise men from the east westward to Jerusalem and then made a sharp turn to the south at Jerusalem and then flew four miles to Bethlehem where Jesus Christ was born, circa AD 1. This could explain why the Bible said Christ read people's minds, walked through solid walls, walked on water, was raised from the dead, ascended up into space or heaven, will return to the Earth the same way, will lead a parade of heavenly angels that might orbit the world so as to be seen by all eyes, etc. Thanks to Kenneth Larson

Peru Observatory 4200 years old

Ryan B. Schreiber in the Missourian News reports that the Temple of the Fox lay covered by dirt and sand for 4,000 years in the barren hills of Buena Vista, Peru, before it was unearthed in June 2004 by Robert Benfer, professor of anthropology at Missouri University. In the 33-foot high Andean temple, Benfer's team found the earliest known astronomical alignment and sculptures in the New World. "We did not expect to find architecture like this, he said. "No one did. For Benfer, the most significant finds from the temple were the numerous astronomical alignments, suggesting that the Andeans used constellations to guide their lives. He said, "Ancient Andean forecasters used the astronomical alignments to predict weather such as droughts and floods. He added other excavated temples in the region contained the exact same angle alignments, which further supports his theory. A second unexpected discovery was that Colonial churches and missions from Texas to Per often were architecturally aligned with astronomical phenomena.

His team also found ancient artwork on the 16-acre site, including a mural of a fox carved inside a painted llama. Andean people held the fox with the utmost respect because they believed foxes walked in areas suitable for building canals. Buena Vista is a 20 acre archaeological site an hour's drive north of Lima.

In 2006, archaeologist Robert Benfer and his team announced the discovery of a 4200-year-old observatory at Buena Vista. Named the "Temple of the Fox" by archaeologists, the observatory is located atop a 33 feet (10 m) high pyramid mound.

Texas Abduction Encounter

North Central Texas -- Dear Major Filer, "I heard you on Rense.com tonight...Excellent interview. Please add me to your weekly newsletter list. "I am 50 years old come April 2012. I want to add my witness testimony to the list. I was 7 years of age. I am female and of sound mind and body to this day.

My mother and as usual women of her age were holding a luncheon pot luck get together with our local involved church in a member's new home. The children were asked to go into the back yard and amuse our selves and I was surrounded by mainly boys aged 6-13. The mother's busy about visiting locked the glass patio door to keep us children from being a constant nuisance. There was a lovely yard with a cyclone fence ...red vine roses growing up to conceal the fence and nothing behind but empty barren farm land. Then at dusk after many hours it seemed of playing with these wretched "boys", THEY CAME.

Across the barren and weed ridden field...was the silver glowing ship slowly settling to the ground. It seemed a long a very long ways away. The boys and I ran to that cyclone fence, enclosing the large back yard area and pushing our way against thorny rose bushes, pressed ourselves up to see ...this sight". Time seemed to stand still and the boys fell, sleep ridden to the ground. All around me lay boys loud and mean little boys only moments before, lay soundly asleep upon the ground". I stood alone watching them come...faster and closer floating upon the field. I see the face...the "Whitley Strieber Contact" face in my minds eye to this day. They were upon me.

As a child I KNEW this to be evil and wrong to my person, so I turned...looking at that shiny new ranch home with it's locked patio door. I thought, -- Mother, please hear me". I tried to run...fighting the feeling of total lethargy in my every muscle. Somehow, I fought against this appealing sensual and tempting idea to just, "GIVE IN". I found myself surrounded in green mist that was all around me. This was upsetting enough let alone the brutal fight I was in ...to not "GIVE UP". I kept seeing the boisterous boys...all suddenly dead lying around me ...hopefully sleeping and that face in my eyes. Those large eyes and round grey head and non human elongated thin arms and hands they displayed. The deepest part of me was alive with resistance. Life and death type of a call only known to those who have witnessed that which in polite society was not spoken about.

I pressed; hard to breathe and push myself forward to the GLASS LOCKED PATIO DOOR...Surely salvation was there if I could just reach it. "Time" stood still or was lost during this harrowing experience. GOD HELPS ME PLEASE...GOD HELP ME". I threw myself upon all I knew as real and trustworthy about God's love and the horrors of the devil and how to seek God's help in a great time of need. As I cried out in this swirling midst of green smoke, as time and I were moving in slow motion....I suddenly was thrust out. I was freed from the gaseous green haze and time seemed to catch up and kicked me in the hind parts that hurt.

I was able to lurch for the door...the golden locked patio door. As I reached the door I looked back. I was enveloped in terror and a sense of dogged determination. The terrible green gaseous spiral was close, but did not envelope me anymore. The grey entities were sneering at me; those that wish to remove my will and take me were certainly not amused by my sudden freedom. I was free, however raggedly I was FREE. I beat my fist against that door as and my shocked into a rude awakening as only spoiled southern belles of that day could, unlocked that glass heaven to me. "MOTHER, MOTHER, MOTHER", I exclaimed! Her look to this day, stands in my minds eye.

Her eyes and response was harsh and looking at me and yet unlocking that golden glass door to me. "Wait till I tell your father", and I have never spoken these words again in fear I yelled, HELP ME! The boys all lay sleepless upon the ground and their mothers exclaimed, "Oh my God", they exclaimed in unison, instantly, as only fairy tales can tell, the bad boys "AWOKE".

Brushing off those burly waking angels, the mothers and boys reconciled...." All was well". This was done I might add with no recollection of the beautiful shiny disc or huge black insecticide shaped eyes. All was well. My mother making her fastidious apologies for her abrupt and ill mannered daughter begged to go home. We drove home in my Mother's new Buick with one great difference. I lay tucked up against my mother. She never allowed such extreme intimacy from any of her offspring to date.

She asked, "Did a boy try and touch you. You must tell me if this occurred! I told her knowing she would never believe me." Mother, they came for us and I stopped it, never...never give into them, they are not our friends!" As a child the most innocent of intuitions was to repel them at any cost. They are real. Russia's Mars Mission Is Dead

Phobos-Grunt was an ambitious project aimed to return samples from the Martian moon Phobos, but Russian operators never got to fire its engines. As the mission's launch window to Mars closed communications were lost with the failed probe. It will eventually plunge back to Earth.

This is unsettling news for NASA, which, with the retirement of the space shuttle, is now reliant on the Russians to get humans into orbit as another Russian resupply ISS Rocket also failed.

Metal Ball Falls from Sky

Windhoek -- The mysterious large metallic ball that fell out of the sky in Namibia, sparking considerable panic, is most likely a fuel tank from an unmanned rocket.

The hollow "space ball", which weighs six kilograms and has a circumference of 1.1 metres, was found near a village on a remote grassland about 750km from the capital. Locals contacted NASA for advice. Rumors began swirling that it may be evidence of extra-terrestrial life.

Arizona Blue Ball

Mohave -- I noticed a bright ball south of the moon on December 11, 2011, at 9:30 PM, I went in the house and got my wife and camera. I began taking pictures of the ball as it was south of the moon traveling north past the moon. Then it started flashing and took off out of sight at a high speed .When I downloaded the pictures I also noticed two small amber orbs that seemed interesting when enlarged.

Note: The first photo appears to show just the moon. Upon brightening and adjusting contrast the second photo shows a strange looking "mass." I couldn't find the two amber orbs mentioned by witness. Thanks to William Puckett Director UFOs Northwest http://ufosnw.com

Alaska Lights

Seward -- I was awake, in my motor home on December 23, 2011, at 4 AM, I saw UFO that appeared in front of a star that was extremely bright. It then powered down although I could still see it. The dim light headed off in a easterly direction. A half hour later, another one appeared, right over the city. It then disappeared from sight around 8 PM. We had a sharp earthquake that hit hard once then mellowed out. It made me wonder if there was a coincidence between the UFO's and the earthquake. Thanks to Robert Mackey

California Lights

SACRAMENTO -- On December 22, 2011, about 12:10 am, we were leaving Elk Grove heading north on I-5 when I saw five red orbs in the sky. The lights seemed to be moving in a semi triangle shape. I lost sight of the objects as we merged onto 50.

Colorado Bright Light Leveling off into a Bright Sphere

Lakewood -- I was letting dogs out in the exercise yard on December 12, 2011. I was standing in a stairwell watching the dog I had let out when I noticed the bright light. It was about 1:45 am, when I saw the UFO.

Delaware Lights

Wilmington -- I was doing exposure photos with my Canon t3i of this really cool road on December 22, 2011, and captured some sort of yellow sonic booms. That's the closest way I can describe it. I noticed these booms when I was reviewing the photo in my car when I packed up. Thanks to MUFON CMS

HOLLYWOOD -- I stepped outside to smoke and saw these uncommon lights moving west slowly. My neighbor kept yelling at me, if I was seeing them and I acknowledged. I ran inside and got my canon video camera and stared filming. The rest you can see if you would like. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Santa Rosa Beach -- Sheila Wise writes, "My husband and I went out on December 21, 2011, to take some pictures of our lighted angels, and got a lot more! We captured pictures of the orbs around the angels. My husband points out that there is one orb that looks as if it has the letters FORC written in it. When I was reading over your UFO Files where you say some Devas are organized in a military hierarchy. That being the case, the letters in the orb FORC would make total sense!!!!

Every morning when we ride our bikes, I say good morning Mother Earth, good morning Mother Nature, good morning all you Furry, Feathered, Reptilian, Elemental/Deva friends! I think perhaps I have built up a repoire with them to the point that they trust us? Not sure what's going on, but am quite sure there are more things going on than meet the eye!!! We tried taking pictures again tonight and there were no orbs. Kansas - the "UFO" that panicked

WINFIELD -- Chris Matyszczyk reports as anyone who has ever pulled a white rabbit out of a black hat will tell you, the art of fooling people depends on doing things right in front of their eyes. What, then, might one think of the explanations being offered to the poor, frightened people of Cowley County in Kansas? For just a few hours, they witnessed what some of them suspected was an extra-terrestrial craft being wheeled through their streets. It was only last Monday afternoon when a vast shrink-wrapped, saucer-shaped thing was seen being towed down Cowley County's Highway 77.

Street signs had to be moved so that this saucer didn't fly into them. Is it any wonder that slightly cowed Cowleyites believed this to be a UFO? Because technology lies at the very heart of Kansas--why, Sprint is headquartered there--the locals filmed this troubling sight. The saucer must have been at least 30 feet wide. Of course, the local authorities, no doubt feeling the need to be authoritative, immediately announced there was no need to be alarmed.

Sheriff Don Read declared that this was a drone created by the clever people at Northrop Grumman. A PR man from Northrop Grumman suddenly materialized to tell the world that this was an X-47B drone, destined for use by the Navy. Editor's Note: X-47Bs shown at left has wings, is not a disc, and has air intakes for a jet engine. The craft on the truck is 30 foot disc shaped vehicle with no apparent intake or exhaust duct for a jet engine so perhaps it uses an antigravity propulsion system.

Kentucky Possible Crash and Explosion

HazarD -- A thing was seen crashing into a hillside by witnesses in Perry County on or about December 16, 2011, at 9:30 PM. It made the local news and at first was almost written off as a mine explosion until no evidence of such could be found. Also no debris of a crashed craft was found. This needs to be put out there because it is a small county in Kentucky, where such things become local legend but nothing more. So far no OFFICIAL conclusion as been given for the explosion or the people who saw something fall from the sky. Maryland Triangle

ELKRIDGE -- I know what I saw is a UFO. I was driving eastbound down Marshalee Drive on December 12, 2011, a little after 11 PM, next to the Troy Golf Course. I was the only car on the road until I saw a huge shiny black triangle craft with alternating red, white, and green lights on the corners. I slowed and the lights seemed to purposely change.

The UFO also had a box-shaped structure behind which followed its every move and looked as though it was connected to the triangle. The UFO was flying at roughly 500 feet at 30 mph. It seemed to change shape to become a very skinny triangle as the craft rocketed across my windshield finishing in a floating stop. The UFO followed me side-by-side like it was tracking me, and flew over us again and just disappeared in mid air. Kens note: The above image is a rendering. New Jersey Cigar

Hillsborough -- On December 20, 2011, my husband and I were outside on the porch at 1:25 AM, and saw a rod/cigar shaped, moving quickly across the sky. It looked like a thin cloud layer, but it was a definite structure, and completely silent. It was huge and heading southwest and flew between Jupiter and Orion. I have witnessed UFOs before around here, but never seen anything like this! I am thankful my husband had also seen it, so I know I wasn't imagining it! We lost sight of it after a few seconds due to some cloud coverage. My husband also claims he had a ringing sound (like crickets) in his ears. I did not experience that myself. New Mexico Orb

On December 25, 2011, my wife and I went to bed at 10 PM, when she got up and observed a glowing object that faded out. I went to the window and a second object appeared that was moving south. It was much larger than a star and its surface was covered with twinkling red/yellow/orange lights and an irregular outline. We watched this object for a couple of minutes, and then it also faded out. A third object then appeared and I got my Panasonic DMC-ZS3 camera and went downstairs as the third light faded, and a fourth appeared and I took a nice picture.

We are near Holloman AFB, and regularly see flares are different and show an object one above the other connected by a fuzzy irregular tubular structure with no parachute. Thanks to MUFON CMS

North Carolina Red Cloud

35.759 N 79.019 W. -- We saw red light in the clouds that was saucer shaped on December 22, 2011. It looked like a plane had gone by with a red saucer with smoke. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Pennsylvania Orange Ball

Silverdale -- On December 10, 2011 around 11 PM, I was traveling south on Route 113 that at first I thought it was a plane but realized it was a reddish orange ball of light traveling towards me at a medium pace. I watched six spheres appear following each other evenly spaced apart. They moved following the same path making no noise, disappearing just south of me. I tried to get some other driver's attention by jumping up and down pointing to the objects in the sky. Being a scientist I tried to rationalize what I saw, but couldn't come up with any reasonable explanation except that these reddish orange spheres were UFO's. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Puerto Rico Cigar

Guanica -- The object came out of nowhere and its color is between yellow and gold and had the appearance of cigar. People in the hospital saw it from there and managed to take a photo. The object made no noise and the sighting lasted only a few minutes. The object is impressive for the large size and its slow movement along the coast. Thanks to MUFON CMS

SAN SEBASTIAN -- On December 12, 2011, arriving home from work I slowed down because the road is bumpy, when I noticed an alien vessel descending and glowing white blue, for about a second. It made no sound, and I lost track of it as it passed through clouds and faded. It was about 150-200 feet from me flying 80 mph. I recognized what it was and was in shock, scared, and then overwhelmed and paralyzed rapidly. I told my wife and reported it. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Washington Jupiter and Lights

Lynnwood -- On December 21, 2011, at 8 PM, the witness reported his sighting. He said that he had been seeing a bright light on clear nights in the southern sky. He zoomed in with his video camera and took some footage.

Note: The light in the video is the planet Jupiter that was very bright (magnitude -2.7). The large size of the light and the "diamond type" shape is due to the clipping of the image by the camera aperture. Republic -- Small white flashing lights all over sky and bigger round non flashing object traveling low above a woman's car was seen on Sherman Pass, on November 23, 2011. I came over the top of Sherman Pass, and saw many lights flashing randomly in the sky around a large object that had many colored lights. The bigger object was not flashing and moving very slowly and low. The closer it came I could tell that it was round with red, yellow, and blue lights in a circle pattern at the bottom with lights shining out the sides. It flew slowly towards us and crossed very close above my car. It was big and changing colors. I was very scared it was following me and I didn't really look back. Wyoming Mothership

WIND RIVER CANYON -- While driving a semi truck hauling a caterpillar bulldozer in July 1978 about 7:30 AM, my wife noticed a star moving toward us and growing larger. The meteoric thought was getting much bigger until it neared a small mountain directly in front of us at about 5000 feet altitude. The object hovered for about 30 seconds then appeared to land on the side of the mountain. I'm estimating I was 5000 to 10000 feet in diameter. I've never seen anything this large that was capable of moving under its own power. I'm a licensed commercial pilot and only stopped flying recently.

When they landed small silvery objects that looked like a lifting body type aircraft with no apparent wings shaped like a spear point came out of object made one orbit around large object and flew northwest at mach 2+. Remember this was a daylight UFO with 45 vehicles stopped and 100+ people watching with several taking 8 mm movies of the craft. When the object departed it climbed into space in thirty seconds. Portugal Light

algarve -- I was driving home on December 22, 2011, surrounded by mountains when I saw a very bright light like a landing light on an airplane. There is an airport not to far away in the city of Faro, This particular light I saw was near dusk and lower than any normal star and brighter than normal. The light was not much higher than the mountain and moving a bit back and forth. It was ahead of me at this point about five miles ahead when suddenly it veered at a super speed and lit about a mile south and instantly took off and was gone. The catch is that I've now seen it three nights in a row. I got here about 6 PM, and saw it again tonight. Thanks to MUFON CMS

South Africa Orbs

Die Wilgers, Eastern Pretoria -- On 13^th December and 24 December 2011, I saw a UFO that were witnessed by nine people at my house. On 13th December at 9 PM, my wife saw a fireworks flare rising up behind the trees in the field across the street. The amber "light was hanging above the tree line taking too long to burn out, in a very steady glow. This amber light approached at constant altitude, quite slowly, with a light unlike a Police helicopter. The amber light was too big and there was no sound. I called out my two sons and friends who are all in their twenties. Eight of us were staring at the nearby bulb-like amber light moving south right above our heads. It slowly moved away. My wife thinks she was able to make out a triangle shape inside the light glow.

On December 24, 2011 at 20:10 hours, I looked up and saw several big amber lights exactly in the same direction as the light I saw on the 13^th. But this time there was no less than eight lights hanging in the sky, so I ran and got my binoculars, shouting for my son and his fianc to come help me. The lights were moving towards us and I could make out a round object with the amber glow around it. United Kingdom Sightings

Earlestown -- I have filmed several UFOs and reviewed a film I made on 25 November 2011. I had just dressed and noticed an orange light flashing at 300 feet altitude a mile west flying at 10 mph. I ran 40 yards to the fields with a camcorder but the light had gone, but another orange light was in sky 1000 yards to west going SW slowly. I filmed a stationary ufo, and noticed a very bright ''star'' to the NE at 400 yards, that was moving west at 300 feet altitude.

I filmed a large orange sphere at 600 yards that turned on sixpence and flew at 5 mph overhead at 75 feet. It flew low as a broad beam of light emanated down onto our tree tops. Police UK on Duty sightings 9^th PRUFOS, Police Database by DC Gary Heseltine

Peterborough, Cambridgeshire -- On March 23, 1909, two uniformed officers including PC M. Kettle observed a cigar shaped object as it passed over the skies of Peterborough. I can find no record of any airships that were flying in that area at that time therefore this sighting remains listed as an unidentified flying object. Source: Peterborough Press.
