SUPER EARTH: Scientists discover life-supporting planet 'right at Earth's front door'

ASTRONOMERS have discovered a planet that may be capable of supporting human life, and it's right at Earth's front door.

"It's not just in our backyard, it's right in our face," lead researcher Professor Steven Vogt said.
The planet is 22 light years away, previously thought to be 20 light years, and is formally known as Gliese 581g, but Professor Vogt told news.com.au that he has since named it after his wife.
"I called it 'Zarmina's world'," Professor Vogt said.
While his claims have been previously reported, a new study, released to News.com.au this week, dismisses calls of balderdash by the international science community. 
The study - by astronomers at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and the Carnegie Institution of Washington - shows the planet is twice the size of Earth. It is known as a "super Earth" due to its ability to hold on to its gassy atmosphere, which increases its chances of retaining liquid.
Whether this liquid is frozen and stored under the surface or flowing freely across the planet, the researchers can't say.
The scientist from the University of California said that the planet has "churchly weather".
"From the energy bounds and brightness of the star we can tell that the temperatures would be just about right to stand on the surface and feel the warmth of the alien star on your face, like standing in the park in Sydney."
However the researchers were unable to determine what the surface of the planet is like, Professor Vogt said.
The planet exists in a band of perpetual twilight near its orbiting star known as the "Goldilocks zone" - an area near earth that isn't too hot, or cold but is just right for sustaining life.
Prof Vogt said scientists will eventually be able to send out probes in search for advanced civilisations
"If you get lucky and find civilisations, you'd be able to have a two-way conversation within a human life-time," he said. "You don't want to have to spend 1000 years waiting to hear 'wazzup', and then another 1000 years before they get to hear not much, and you?'."
The researcher said after making first contact, scientists may receive an answer within 44 years.
"Within a few hundred years you could be able to receive picture postcards from an iPhone or Android and be able to listen to what they sound like, and sample their way of life from a spacecraft," he said.
"There is something out there."
These findings are not without controversy, however.
This isn't the first time Professor Vogt has claimed the existence of a habitable planet. His findings back in 2010 sparked a scientific cat fight between the US researchers and a rival team of Swiss astronomers, known as "HARPS" (High Accuracy Radial Velocity Planet).
HARPS published research saying it had found four planets that orbited the same star as Gliese 581g (which at the time had not yet been confirmed).
Prof Vogt's team questioned the team's data and suggested two more planets existed in the Goldilock's Zone and published its findings in the US’s Astrophysical Journal.
HARPS claimed that Vogt's research was nonsense, creating waves in the scientific community.
The international media then seized on HARPS and Vogt's data, reporting problems with both team's research.
A year later the HARPS team released expanded data on its findings confirming the existence of four planets but not Vogt's extra two.
Vogt's team then analysed HARPS data and tried unsuccessfully to replicate the findings.
Prof Vogt told news.com.au that they discovered that the Swiss team omitted five points of data which related to the radial velocity of the planets because it didn't fit their data model or modes of thinking.
“Such setting of eccentricities introduces biases and personal choices into the model that inappropriately affect the resulting solution,” Prof Vogt wrote in the study, which was provided to News.com.au.
"You're basically deliberately deleting information in your data that's telling you there's more in the system than you're telling people about. You're hiding that stuff,” he told News.com.au.
Prof Vogt's study will be published in European astrophysics journal, Astronomisch Naschrischten tomorrow (AEST).

The Return of The Incredible Green Fireballs: New Films of a UFO Mystery

     Nature provides man with wondrous atmospheric displays from comets to the Northern Lights. As awe-inspiring and infrequent as these phenomena are, they all have prosaic origins as explained by science. Much less understood (and far more rare) are the enigmatic Green Fireballs. The Green Fireball is often associated with historical sightings that occurred in areas like the State of New Mexico and near our National Laboratories, such as Sandia and Los Alamos. These unusually-behaved luminous balls of ethereal green were very different from conventional meteors and were seen to perform extraordinary aerial feats during the late 1940s and early 1950s. Military and intelligence authorities at that time even had a top-secret project called “Twinkle” whose objective was to trace the mysterious green fireballs plaguing Southwest skies in particular. Then for some inexplicable reason, appearances of the green balls of fire tapered down and “winked out.”
Or did they?

– Revealed here are remarkable images (recently found buried within NASA space footage archives) of a Green Fireball that seems to “follow” our astronauts.

– Striking and exceeding rare film has been located, also taken from space, where one can vividly see the strange Green Fireballs doing the impossible: exiting the earth’s atmosphere rather than entering it.

– High definition, non-hoaxed film taken this past Spring (with link below) clearly depicts a slow, “watchful” Green Fireball passing above excited witnesses for several minutes- not seconds. The object is comprised of matter but displays a luminous halo of “energy” and seems to change shape into a “diamond.”

– Documented recent reports referenced here that have been filed of Green Fireballs that wildly morph their appearance and “pace” their observers.

The glowing green balls are now exhibiting behavior so distinctly unnatural and never-before-seen that the conclusion draws near: Some of this phenomenon is intelligent and it is evolving in its revealed capability. It is able to mimic nature while traversing at will above us with a purpose unknown.

Green Fireballs: Natural and Artificial

Of course astronomers recognize the term “Green Fireballs” in conventional terms as naturally-occurring atmospheric events. Infrequently, shooting meteors of sufficient mass and velocity can create a “shockwave” hot enough to produce a Green Fireball. It is a cosmic phenomena associated with the color green that is caused in part by ionized oxygen (and is similar in color to that of a green aurora.) Recent research at Queensland University points to a possible connection to “ball lightning” electrical phenomenon as well. Sightings of most all such Green Fireballs can be accounted for in these (largely) understood, prosaic ways.

Only very occasionally ever filmed clearly, here we see a conventional “shooting” Green Fireball over Ocean Shores in 2008, towards the very end of this 44 second clip (incorrectly titled “UFO Green Fireball”- as it is indeed a green meteor):



A “conventional” Green Fireball is very simply a mass of stony or metallic matter that has fallen to earth from outer space. As can be seen in the above clip, it appears as a transient, fiery streak, otherwise known as a “falling star.”

But there are a core of sightings of Green Fireball-like phenomena that are distinctly different than conventional fireballs or green meteors - and that elude conventional explanation. It is this phenomenon that does not appear to find its origin with the realm of known atmospheric or celestial events. This unknown phenomenon was first noted officially and scientifically in 1948. Such illustrious scientists as astronomer Dr. Lincoln LaPaz (who was also involved in the Roswell crash investigation in 1947 according to multiple credible sources) initiated Green Fireball investigations utilizing expensive monitoring equipment (including an installation placed only 30 miles from the Roswell crash-involved Foster Ranch.) So concerned was the military that such sightings were occurring near rocketry and nuclear sites that a top secret conference was organized about the issue and attended by luminaries including Dr. Edward Teller. Opinions were divergent and studies, inconclusive.

In 1965 LaPaz privately confided to the Air Force’s Dr. J. Allen Hynek of Project Blue Book his last known word on the flying green balls: LaPaz was sure that certain fireballs’ anomalous characteristics were never really understood by himself or by officials- and that they did not behave like normal meteorites- and were most probably “artificial” in their origin. Despite best efforts, a certain class of Green Fireballs resisted all attempts at sustained filming and at determining trajectory- or in ever recovering any expected celestial debris. We have learned that this class of “artificial” Green Fireball phenomenon displays essential differences from “conventional” green meteors:

- They favor and cluster in specific geographic areas and sometimes near highly-sensitive locations.

- They appear episodically and even seem to “leave” us all together, only to reveal themselves again years later.

- They do not emit smoke trails (but sometimes have unusual ‘tails’).

- They change direction and angle of travel (sometimes sharply and abruptly, unlike conventional “shooting” meteoric phenomena).

- They have no impact sites and have never left any evidence of any type of their descent to earth.

- They do not always “shoot” or dart quickly, as they can also change their speed- and can sometimes maneuver far more slowly than meteors and other entering cosmic debris.

- They can possess “lime green” colorations that are not consistent with known celestial phenomena.

These anomalous characteristics left LaPaz and others forever perplexed. One can only wonder what they might think of their even more incredible aerial behavior today, documented on film.

- They travel impossibly upward and outward through our atmosphere and into space.

- They follow and track our astronauts.

- They can hover silently and with precision and even appear to even “watch” their observers.

- They can morph their shape.

The Green fireball That left The Earth To Follow The Astronauts - On Film

In scouring the deepest recesses of official NASA archived images online, located were photos and film of the Green Fireball taken from space that to my eyes are nothing short of astounding. And I was equally astounded that at least one other has also found the same thing.

In May of this year researcher Wilbur Allen spoke at a small conference which featured a call-in from his friend, Moon-walker Dr. Edgar Mitchell. Mr. Allen (who has professional interest in photography and was once employed as a White House engineer) delivered a presentation that included a brief segment of film that somehow made its way passed NASA censors. The film, taken by Apollo 7 in 1968, has been discovered to include clear moving images of a Green Fire Ball that is exiting –not entering- the Earth’s atmosphere. Further, it careens into space and is photographed by the astronauts! Allen notes yet another astronaut-filmed image of a Green Fireball in space which has received very little notice involving Buzz Aldrin- a man whose comments on ET have been both full of hints and contradictions. Allen also provides a striking comparative analysis of green fireballs using a solarization imaging technique.

Green Fireball That Hovers, Follows Observers, and was Filmed!

For several minutes on October 9th, 2011, an excited Chicagoan and friends filmed a Green Fireball (that also morphed into a diamond-shape.) Shot clearly in 300X zoom, the resulting footage shows in astounding detail a flying Green Ball which possesses some kind of defined structure and which appears comprised of matter as well as a sort of high-state “energy.” The luminous aerial wonder changes shape and appears in ethereal green colors, encircled by a halo which is the hue of an ‘electric violet.’ The flight pattern is intentional and slow enough to be filmed for minutes- not seconds. The Green Balls of Fire Continue To Fly

A review of Green Fireball UFOs reported to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) shows that sightings of such phenomenon are on the rise and that their performance capabilities are evolving. Two notable, documented examples:

- In January of 2012 (MUFON Case # 34457) in New Mexico (a state long favored by the Green Fireballs) witnesses sighted one descending toward them. Then remarkably, its position suddenly changed to one of flying level. It then morphed its shape from a fireball into a slightly shiny V-shaped object and out of view! This is reminiscent of the filmed October 2011 episode above, where the “ball” becomes a “diamond” shape.

- In March of 2010 (MUFON Case # 22579) we learn of a report filed by a married couple in Florida who are described as “astronomy fans” who have seen many meteors. This green one however, was markedly different. They were surprised at how utterly slow the object moved as it passed closely by them (at about the speed of a single engine prop airplane) and that its brightness never wavered.

The Great Green Fireball is curious of us. Fleeting and ever furtive, it is secretive and evasive. It lets us glimpse it (and now even film it) but it never lets us “get it” to touch it. This is was Dr. LaPaz’ very lament. As he said, “it was not natural.” It acts with aptitude. It comprehends and it discerns. We can speculate that it is a sentient ball of light, a probe, a craft. But we cannot be sure. The only thing that is really certain is that the phenomena is real- and that its secrets will be revealed to us only if and when it ever wishes to do so.

The purpose of these files is to report the UFO eyewitness and photo/video evidence that occurs on a daily basis around the world and in space. These Files assume that extraterrestrial intelligent life not only exists, but my hypothesis is that the over a thousand UFOs reported each month represent technologically advanced spacecraft conducting surveillance of Earth. I personally became interested in UFOs when London Control ordered me to intercept one over England while flying for the US Air Force. Under Project Blue Book, the US Air Force investigated UFOs for more than twenty years; and we continue this research. I believe the God of the universe has spread life throughout the cosmos and UFO's are visiting us in ever-increasing numbers.

Newly Released UK National Archives Files (U.S. plays dumb, still).

The National Archives has been released on 12 July 2012.

Its files, contain over 6,700 pages of UFO policy, parliamentary questions, public correspondence and UFO sighting reports.

The files reveal the role of the UFO Desk Officers for the first time, including what they really thought about the possibility of alien visits, their ideas to harness alien technology as a weapon, and their briefings to Tony Blair on UFO policy.

One of the strangest jobs in Whitehall; Dr David Clarke, author of the book  'The UFO files' and Senior Lecturer in Journalism from Sheffield Hallam University, said: 'These records allow us to look behind the scenes of what must have been one of the strangest jobs in Whitehall. We now have a fascinating insight into some of the extraordinary reports and briefings which passed over the UFO Desk on a daily basis and how its officers used logic and science in their attempts to explain the unexplained".

The 'daily mechanics' of the UFO Desk Officer job included providing briefings on the Ministry of Defence's position on UFOs and extraterrestrial life, undertaking UFO investigations, handling hundreds of Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, and managing UFO 'experts' and press enquiries.

Among the files is a 1995 briefing by a UFO Intelligence Officer which states that although there is no hard evidence for alien craft, if sightings were indeed alien visitors there was a number of possible reasons for their visit, including 'a) military reconnaissance b) scientific c) tourism'.

The briefing paper also states that if the reports were to be believed, alien technology was far superior to ours and goes on to suggest that the Ministry of Defence could use the UFO technology, if it existed.

Prime Minister Tony Blair was briefed on the UK's files about UFO sightings in 1998, newly declassified MoD documents have revealed.

Writer Nick Redfern urged him to "consider making available for public scrutiny all of the many and varied UFO reports compiled by the government".

The request came as the government began to implement Freedom of Information (FOI requests).

Some 6,700 pages of UFO documents have been released by the National Archives.

Chelsea FC sighting

The documents also include details of a briefing made before a House of Lords debate on UFOs in 1979, and reveal that former Prime Minister John Major had been asked by a fellow MP in 1996 whether the government would set up a national inquiry into UFO sightings.

The declassified documents - from the MoD unit which investigated UFO claims from 1950 until it was shut down in 2009 - also include several sightings and investigations.

Dr David Clarke, author of the book The UFO files and senior lecturer in journalism from Sheffield Hallam University pushed to have these files released.

He said: "These records allow us to look behind the scenes of what must have been one of the strangest jobs in Whitehall".

A spate of sightings in west Wales in 1977 which included a hotel owner seeing two tall silver-suited "faceless humanoids" which began making measurements.

A UFO sighting in Spalding, Lincolnshire, which led to the witness being visited by three tall men in black suits who seemed to move silently.

A mounted police officer seeing a "square/diamond shaped object moving across the sky and changing shape" whilst on duty at Chelsea FC ground in 1999.

An RAF Air Commodore describing in a memo to Defence Intelligence Staff that he had seen a UFO flying above him when he was flying at 40,000 feet.

A memo noting claims the naval task force sailing to liberate the Falklands in 1982 had been shadowed by UFOs.

'X Files' fiction

Files relating to the unit have been transferred to the National Archive since 2007.

The documents also include an email from an intelligence officer working on the desk who described the daily mechanics of the role.

The officer says it is not the MoD's role to confirm or deny the possibility of extraterrestrials, but to gauge whether unidentified objects are a threat to the UK's security.

In an email he says discussion of the unit "tends to suggest to the public that there are Top Secret teams of specialist scientists scurrying around the country in a real life version of the X-Files [But] this is total fiction."

Italy Marshal Giancarlo Cecconi Film-Radar-Visual Case

Pilot Giancarlo Cecconi, in his G-91R fighter is attached to the 14 Group 2nd' Air Force Fighter Wing is returning to Treviso Air Base, Italy after having carried out a reconnaissance mission on June 18, 1979, at 11:30 AM. The Istrana radar center (TV), registers the presence of an intruder on its radar screens, and gives Cecconi directions to approach the unidentified craft that has penetrated a prohibited area. Having unused film in his aircraft cameras, the pilot activates them and approaches the UFO up to a distance of 70-80 meters and at speeds estimated at 300 knots (450-500 km. The airport ground staff follows the scene with binoculars. The Treviso Control Tower personnel call Cecconi to warn him that the object is discharging a strange "blue trail." He is in close pursuit at 7,000 feet altitude but does not know its wake. When the Pilot closes on the object it makes up and down movements a 1,000 feet at a time, climbing up to 13,000 feet. Cecconi makes seven to eight passes close to the object and each time takes gun camera film of the UFO resulting in a total of 82 frames depicting the intruder. The apparent UFO is stationary relative to the G-91, but the radar center confirms Cecconi it is moving, course and speed defined. The pilot tries to pass (and resume) just next door, but it does not succeed because the object "appears to operate" in order to get over him in the front angled or otherwise, without the side completely set before him [3].

 The witness recalls a "gas tank" of matte black and the presence of a small white or clear "dome" located on the upper side, of the slightly flattened object. The "dome" is like a kind of shaping or fairing like those found on sports cars. While Cecconi is making yet another tack to get back to doing another round of photographs, Istrana radar calls to report the object suddenly disappeared from theirs and other radars. After a few seconds, the Treviso control tower confirms the UFO has visually disappeared.

A few minutes later, the plane lands and the films are removed and quickly developed. The pilot is very curious to see the pictures that came out well, including the white.""dome" The object is a cylindrical tank at least eight meters long (26 feet) with a maximum three in diameter suspended in the sky at thirteen thousand feet high."

X-37 B Space Plane Lands.

VANDENBERG --CNN reports The U.S. Air Force's robotic X-37B space plane finally returned to Earth Saturday (June 16), wrapping up a mysterious mission that lasted more than year in orbit.

The unmanned X-37B spacecraft, also known as Orbital Test Vehicle-2 (OTV-2), glided back to Earth on autopilot, touching down at California's Vandenberg Air Force Base at 5:48 a.m. The mission lasted more than 15 months with objectives that remain shrouded in secrecy.

This same craft is due to launch again in the fall 2012. Air Force officials announced the X-37B space plane's successful landing in a brief statement posted on the Vandenberg website.

The X-37B stayed in orbit for 469 days this time. Thanks to USAF.

New Race of Super Earthlings

Scientists have made an unexpected and unsettling discovery - a large number of new and previously unseen mutations have been detected among humans. There are those who suggest that there will soon be fantastic X-men. This unexpected discovery is a result of a study conducted by scientists from Cornell University and University of California.

When they examined genes of several thousands of people from around the world, it turned out that mankind has acquired over the past few years new, previously unseen mutations. Is a new human race being born? The scientist studied 202 genes in 14,002 people. The human genome contains some 3 billion base pairs; the scientists studied 864,000 of these pairs. While this is only a small part of the genome, the sample size of 14,002 people is one of the largest ever in a sequencing study in humans.

This project led by John Novembre of the University of California Los Angeles and Vincent Mooser of UK-based drug company GlaxoSmithKline, reports that more than 95% of variants found by sequencing 202 genes in 14,002 people were rare, and that 74% of the variants were carried by only one or two people in the study.

Power Grid Vulnerable

WASHINGTON - After recent storms knocked out power for more than 3 million people in the middle of a record heat wave former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich decided to talk about Americas vulnerable power grid. In an opinion piece posted on The Washington Post Gingrich writes: "Without power, the comforts of home become worthless. You sit in the sweltering heat, realizing you are living in a box that, without electricity, is a trap. You pray for the "juice" to return before your groceries go bad. You either make do in the heat or find refuge with friends who have electricity." Newt claims that the power grid is created in such a ways that doomsday-level damage could be caused if the United States were to be hit with an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) strike or even a major solar storm. The former speaker is worried that a nuclear weapon detonated over the atmosphere of the continental United States could cause an EMP that would knock power out for months, perhaps even years. Gingrich also points to the Carrington Event of 1859, a solar storm that since that time has caused geomagnetic disturbances every 75 years. While we make think the possibility of a solar storm causing major issues is not possible in 1989 a space storm knocked out power to millions of people in Quebec for several hours. "Suppose that, rather than being a temporary disruption in our lives, the power outage lasted weeks or months, or even years. Consider what state all of us, from the richest to the poorest, would be in if we were still literally in the dark. Millions could be trapped in houses or apartments that were never designed for this climate without air conditioning. No cool air; months with no food shipments and every pharmacy shut down — no refills for life-sustaining medications." Consider making preparations just in case.

Sightings in the United States

Arkansas Triangle

Camden I saw lights just over the tree tops flashing different colors that caught my attention at 7:45 pm. A black triangle craft was moving slowly at about two miles per hour in a straight line path headed south about 200 feet altitude on September 19, 2011. The UFO had numerous little red, green, and blue colored lights and two rectangular yellowish pulsating light panels to bright white pulsations.

I could see the craft in great detail has it crossed over Highway 167 on a diagonal between the newly built Sheriffs complex and a business called Steel Deals.

I was the only one stopped and rolled the window down and heard no sound... I was awe stricken as I watched it float silently and pass directly overhead lit up like a Christmas tree. I could see the roundness of each little colored light which were grouped in sections all along the underbelly of the Triangle UFO. 

The panels went from steady bright/dim pulses to getting real bright; like it was powering up. It then took off at breakneck speed headed south, where it was seen by another witness 15 miles from where I saw it in a community called Frenchport, AR.

California Orbs

Oakland -- The witness saw five to six red balls of light floating around the sky at 8:30 PM for half an hour on

July 8, 2012.

The lights would then abruptly shoot up and disappear.

HOLLYWOOD -- You folks need to watch Pt 2 of the original video taken on July 8, 2012. How do you suppose the "lanterns" are unaffected by the draft of the helicopter's rotors? Whatever the objects are, they are maintaining their own position and are stronger than the helicopter. This is most noticeable when the chopper moves to within a few yards of the orb and it doesn't move. Colorado Disc

Colorado Springs --There have been way too many "sightings" in and around Colorado Springs for this to be missed by the news. This disc sighting was published on June 28, 2012 by Ko3k10 News 13TV.

If you look behind the helicopter on the far right you'll see a disc shaped object following the fire fighting helicopter. It is NOT another helicopter (size) and is NOT an airplane (speed).

Delaware Triangle

LEWES -- I was going fishing at the pier in Cape Henlopen State Park on the night of June 28, 2012, at a little after 10 PM. Also present was my father, brother, and two nephews and other people who were on the pier. As we walked out on the pier a triangular shaped object appeared that seemed black with lights at each corner. The lights had a red-orange flicker as the object flew silently and slowly 200 feet overhead. It rotated slowly climbing steadily and then flew over the Atlantic Ocean. It was being followed by three other objects with a single light the same color as the triangles. I took a cell phone picture and video of the triangle. NOTE: The above image is a rendering. Florida Orbs

St. Augustine Beach -- My son and I were driving over the bridge to the beach when we noticed a rainbow. It was very odd because there was only one small cloud. I snapped pictures and noticed two objects that appeared to be flying in tandem. I cleaned the lens and all three photos showed the two bright discs of light flying closer to the cloud in each photo. They flew straight, then appeared to arc up over the cloud. Both left a distinct trail. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Indiana UFOs

BLANFORD Richard Bondira has been photographing UFOs on clear nights since January 2012.

He sent me dozens of photographs of UFO that he has filmed over the last six months. As many as ten or more UFOs can be seen on some nights. They mostly hover but can be seen maneuvering, spin around, or go straight up. They usually come from the southeast heading northwest. They stretch across the night sky from east to west. Maine Encounter

CHINA -- In September of 2000 my cousin and I were sitting in my car which was parked with all power off watching the flashing lights of planes move along the eastern horizon. One was by itself and approached much closer moving at about 25 miles per hour with a bright fixed headlight like a searchlight. It made no sound, had no blinking indicator lights and had no visible outline even as it approached.

When the object was directly in front at no more than 200 feet, I flashed my headlights and the object which had no visible lights except the spotlight suddenly illuminated us with a staggered row of colored lights. After five seconds the lights completely turned off and the object which was hovering changed course and moved slowly and silently away.

Additionally my friend who had stayed in a cabin on the opposite side of the hill years before had been awakened one night by lights outside the cabin with tremendous shaking of the structure. He who was a brave and courageous individual whom I never saw afraid said he was mortally terrified as he hid in a ball from the object and event taking place. Thanks to MUFON CMS

BOSTON --I was filming a documentary in Boston on July 17, 2012, and I shot a church, when reviewing the footage later I noticed a quick flying object at top left shooting past the screen at 0:03. Very strange and it does not seem to be a camera error.

Michigan Dozen Lights

WATERFORD On June 26, 2012, at 10:50 PM, I and my fianc walked outside to his car before he left for work. We noticed strange lights in the southeast sky. They were formed in a triangle, and moving slowly in formation to the east.

Lake Leelanau -- On July 3, 2012, I was on my boat preparing to watch the fireworks display at 10:45 PM. I am a 47-year-old Navy veteran and private pilot that observed an orangish-red glow moving from left to right from my position along the 45th parallel, travelling north. The object was below the clouds at 5, 000 feet AGL and moved silently. The orangish-red orb was followed by 14 objects that followed the exact same flight path as the previous one.

I observed two of the objects go black, but I could see their outline and thought they looked like a quarter. I have seen many craft from both ships at sea, on vantages at land and from aircraft that I myself have piloted. No strobes, navigation lights or noise were present. Missouri Sightings

Kansas City Margie Kay reports we had quite a few UFO sightings on July 4, 2012, including my own sighting with 16 other witnesses. I filmed this and am putting it up on You Tube this weekend. Union -- The witness, who was an Assistant Fire Chief at the time, was prompted to contact MUFON after seeing a TV program on the Illinois sightings in they hear 2000. He stated that he was returning from a house fire in St. Clair, Missouri at 3:00 AM and was on I-44 Highway approaching Union when he heard law enforcement on the county police band radio discussing an unidentified object. The dispatcher said "Oh its this Roswell stuff again." and that police were chasing the object. 

As the witness approached Highways 50 and 47, he saw a large triangular craft traveling at 25 MPH, about 500 feet altitude. The witness said that very bright lights on the triangle pointed down, but did not light up the ground, seeming to stop 100 feet up.
The witness joined up with a Union officer and a County officer, and the three of them followed the object in their separate cars for an hour as the object headed towards Washington, Missouri, north of the original position. The object was always in front or above them. At one point, the county officer attempted to tilt his dash cam up to get pictures, but it would not raise high enough.

The object stopped and hovered several times and moved very slowly. They were unable to use the radio for communication while the craft was above them. After an hour, the officers needed to turn back to get back to other calls, so this witness left as well. By this time, the object had moved into an area SE of Washington, MO over farmland where there were no roads, and it was impossible to follow. The witness surmises that the object from Illinois continued into Missouri and officers picked up its trail after it crossed the state line. New Jersey Light, Alien Abduction and Triangle

Abducted

ATLANTIC COUNTY -- First, I never remember seeing a UFO. I didn't even know I was being abducted until July 6, 2012, when I read some reviews of the book "Taken" and some red flags went up for me. My abductions usually begin at night but it has happened during the day. I am in bed and feel a presence in the room and feel like a heavy weight is on me. I can't move my body but can move my eyes and control my breathing. Then I fall asleep or at times it seems like nothing happened. I only remember bits and pieces like a dream things like being in water but I can breathe. One afternoon, I remember lying face down and hearing someone say, "The device resides at the base of the spine". I felt little tingled at the small of my back, no pain.

On another night years later, a presence came into my room and said "You have no idea whats in store for you tonight" then it left. During the night I awoke to the worst pain on the left side of my face. The worst part about this is I know when this is going to happen before they come. But when I get in bed I dont care and it's ok to be taken. I know I do not want this to happen and I feel like a prisoner and know there is nothing I can do, and I must go. They have taken me since the 6th grade, I'm 30 now. Being a psychic I thought it was a spirit or demon messing with me. I always felt I could handle whatever came my way. ATLANTIC CITY I saw a triangle on July 14, 2012, with perimeter lights sitting in Bader Field moving slowly south about 10 PM. It was moving very slow and stopped behind a translucent cloud and the lights went out and I couldnt see it anymore.

ALBANY On July 15, 2012, I saw a large reddish orange object that I perceived to be burning or glowing. It was headed north towards Albany flying faster than an average plane at low altitude. LACONNER -- Sitting in living room I saw an orange colored orb behind the trees headed north about two miles out on July 16, 2012. It did not look like a normal aircraft since Im by a Navy Air Base. Texas UFO Hovers Over Harbor Bridge

Corpus Christi I was at work on July 4, 2012 at 10:30 AM, on a cloudy morning and first noticed what I thought was a plane hovering low over the harbor bridge. I then realized it was a black star shaped craft in a slow circular path hovering over our bridge. After 20 minutes, it zoomed quickly sideways and upward simply vanishing. When it did that we were able to see it was a star shape almost like a sheriffs badge. It was so huge and frightening. Milano -- Richard West reports at 05:20 AM Saturday, 14 July, 2012, I was riding in the front seat as a passenger coming back from a gig in Brazoria, Texas. We were traveling west on State Highway 36 just out of Milano. Steve, the driver, and I saw though we saw lights on a tower but as we got closer, we realized the lights were shaped like a pentagon suspended over the road. The center of the underside of the object had the brightest light of five. The five other lights were located close to the end of each corner of the underside of the pentagon-shaped object. All the lights were white and pulsated about once a second. We could see that the dull black object had shape and a surface with seams or vents. It hovered over the road silently about 30 feet in altitude as we passed underneath going 60 mph. The object was 20 to 30 feet across. We saw it fade in the rear view mirror as we drove farther away. Sydney I had a truly mind blowing experience while on vacation in Australia on January 9, 2012, at 11:30 PM. I am a UK resident that arrived at Erskineville Station to meet with a friend. As I approached the station I noticed a light in the sky that acted strangely. It flew in formation at high speed from behind a tall building; shrinking and growing in size above Erskineville. PERTH Journalist Pip Moir posted a photo on July 2, 2012, that she took at Cottesloe Beach to Twitter shortly after 6 pm, as puzzled onlookers debated what caused the colorful phenomena.

Canada Light and Cigar

PETERBOROUGH -- We saw three or more anomalies on July 10, 2012. They came in on the angle of a plane but we realized it was not blinking like a plane. It flew straight up into the sky and veered off to the northwest before it disappeared. Five minutes later a big orange oblong object climbed south. It was the size of a hot dog bun held at arms length. Five minutes later a moon like object came out of the water rising slowly at 12:45 AM. It changed to a bright orangish red too. Niagara Falls -- Just before turning in on July 1, 2012, I went outside to look around as I will often do. I spotted a small pinkish light heading my way from the northwest flying straight about 150 mph? It looked to be only a few hundred feet above my house as it passed over. The light was brighter pink by now and appeared to pulsate slightly almost like it was a burning ball. I think I could see a missile or cigar shape with no wings or rotors visible. The light on the underside more or less obscured the actual craft. I strained to hear any sound and I may have heard a very faint hissing sound as it passed over. Mexic Alleged UFO Photographed Before Sandstorm

CIUDAD JUAREZ Residents claim having photographed an UFO minutes before last Fridays sandstorm, whose winds approached 90 kilometers an hour and created widespread chaos throughout the region.

Through Facebook, a photograph shot by Raquel Vargas was shared by Juan Carlos Len, showing a sort of ring suspended in the sky with at least a dozen lights.

The image was taken in Calzada del Rio, to the north of the city. "I was running an errand at a neighboring development and we heard something like a lightning bolt, but when we turned around, we saw that thing in the sky," she said.

The phenomenon was seen by several local residents. "When we left our home, in a matter of minutes, it was still in the sky and I managed to take a picture of it. Others did as well."

"There was a lot of wind and flying dirt after that, and we went away because the storm had already started," she noted.

United Kingdom England Sighting

LIVERPOOL -- On July 10, 2012, four bright footballs were seen in the sky. Two were flying close to each other with an airplane flying just in front of the two flying in formation. It was scary. Earlestown -- I have filmed several UFOs lately. I reviewed an excellent film I made on 12 December 2011.

At 6-30 pm, I had just dressed and noticed an orange light flashing at 300 feet altitude a mile to west over slack heaps flying at10 mph going north. Another orange light was in sky 1000 yardsgoing SW slowly. I filmed a ufo, and noticed a very bright ''star'' to NE 3-400 yards, alt.300 feet stationary and I filmed and it began to move west slowly. It appeared to cam-cord as large orange sphere and 5-600yds.it turned on sixpence and went N 5mph.and as it went over 70-80ft. trees in woods it had dropped to 100ft.alt.and a broad beam of light emanates down onto tree tops. A minute later an airliner came directly over going south at 1200 feet altitude. Though I did not see as I filmed on my film can be seen a shiny silver sphere between me and the other alien craft, low down over fields so maybe the airplane saw both. Moffat I first noticed the object opposite my house, a mile away maybe, which would be just to the north-west of the town in Dumfriesshire. It was 2 am, on July17, 2012, and I had gone for a walk before going to bed. The sky was clear so this object stood out as it was moving around erratically and was a flashing. There was a green light on the object and it looked as if a beam was reflecting off the sky around it. It cannot have been a plane, due to the abrupt movements it was making.

I took a photograph of it with a telephoto lens, and downloaded to my computer and magnified some more; it looked like a wide silver object with "windows" around the edge. After half an hour, it was still there but having had a busy day I was so tired I just had to go to bed! 

The last time I saw a UFO, was in 1979 near power lines. It was about 100 feet above me and about 200 feet in diameter. It completely lit the ground around me as if it were daylight. It was about 12:15 am and I lost about an hour of time. The last things I remember was seeing the object move slowly to my left for about 200 yards, and then accelerate forward so fast that it disappeared. Thanks to MUFON CMS

But according to one of our leading physicists, it is a matter for governments – rather than Hollywood – who should start preparing for our first extra-terrestrial encounter now.

Speaking at the Euroscience Open Forum conference in Dublin, Jocelyn Bell Burnell said: ‘I do suspect we are going to get signs of life elsewhere, maybe even intelligent life, within the next century.

How well prepared are we? Have we thought of how we approach them? Should we put them in a zoo, eat them, send in GIs to bring them democracy?’

She said we are most likely to find alien life where we find rocky planets with carbon dioxide and ozone in the atmospheres. The Oxford University professor said: ‘If we do suspect there is intelligent life out there, are we going to make ourselves known to them or not?

‘There are interesting questions about who you would tell first – the Press, the Prime Minister, the Pope? We should start thinking now.’

However, she said that even if we do find signs of alien life, it is likely to take decades to talk to them from Earth via radio or lasers.

Professor Bell Burnell said: ‘Nothing can travel faster than the speed of light. So you are probably talking of conversations that could take 50 or 100 years, just one way.’

Previous research has found almost half of Britons believe in little green men.

The poll of more than 2,000 men and women for the Royal Society found that 44 per cent are of the opinion extra-terrestrial life exists and more than a third of those questioned said we should be actively searching and trying to make contact with ET.

Worrying: Stephen Hawking has warned that aliens may plunder Earth for its resources

Scientists are divided about whether we should be advertising our presence to inhabitants of other planets.

Some say that if we alert hostile aliens to our existence we risk an invasion that could lead to the end of life on Earth.

They argue that if ET has the technology to cross space to reach us any defences we have will be all but useless.

And Stephen Hawking has warned that aliens may plunder Earth for its resources.

Castro Saw Alien Craft and Bodies

Jorge Martin, Puerto Rican ufologist reports that on March 29, 2012, former President of Cuba, Fidel Castro issued historical document of Reflections, entitled "The need to Enrich our Knowledge." The letter discussed several issues related to the dangers for the survival of humankind posed by the current warmongering race that some of the world powers are enforcing; and how the bearers of these actions tend to suffer from characters that lack culture and special knowledge. Interjected is the possibility of extraterrestrial life in the universe around us.

Castro stated, "When Pope John Paul II visited Cuba in 1998, I sat down to dinner with a spokesman of the Pope. I said, "I think there is a 99.9 percent chance there is intelligent life on other planets'. A European article reads, "There could be thousands of millions of planets not much larger than Earth orbiting stars in our galaxy. "Our new observations show that about 40% of the 160.000 million red dwarf stars have a 'super-Earth" orbiting in their living zone, and there may be liquid water on the surface of the planet. "

Jorge Martin, states, "In 2002, the renowned Cuban filmmaker Octavio Cortzar visited Puerto Rico and asked to meet with us at our magazine ENIGMAS Goals.

He gave me a copy of the first documentary ever made in Cuba entitled "UFOs in Cuba." Octavio Cortzar further stated since President Fidel Castro opened the door with his letter about extraterrestrial life, he would reveal more of Castros statements.

John Paul II told Castro in 1998, "The probability of life beyond Earth was a fact and discussed the observations of UFOs!"

Castro saw the reality of extraterrestrial life visiting us, when he visited the Soviet Union. Perhaps, as a result we would deviate from the path of self destruction in which we currently are on.

Fidel Castro also gave Juan Mari Bras, a pro-Puerto Rico Independence leader information about the UFO matter? What did Castro say to Attorney Juan Mari Bras, I asked Mrs. Trabal? Well-she-said, "On one occasion we were talking about the UFO subject. Fidel Castro told us, before the fall of the Soviet Union, he had traveled to the USSR and the Soviet Authorities had taken him to a military base in which there was a special laboratory, and had showed him an alien spaceship, a disk they had captured. He also saw the body of a tall extraterrestrial being they kept preserved in a special box-like machine or cryogenic freezer."

Juan Mari Bras had not spoken about this before because Castro had told him confidence. Juan is a person of great integrity, and would not say something like this if it not was true. Castro also told us, "The Soviets to him they knew Americans had a similar lab and research center with crafts and alien bodies."

It is likely Castro was taken to the Plesetsk Cosmodrome where the Soyuz Rocket Cosmos=3M, and Tsykon are launched and is under persistent surveillance by alien crafts. This photo was taken by security officer Ghenady Korniev Vassili Zaitsev on January 5, 1992, at the Plesetsk missile center.

The other possible missile center where the alien craft could be stored is the base of Kapushtin Yar, in Astrakhan, Volgograd. "Alien language" presented by CIA and Disney

Robbie Graham a doctoral candidate at the University of Bristol for a PhD writes, "One of the most eyebrow-raising cases of government involvement in a Hollywood UFO movie in recent years is that of Race to Witch Mountain (2009), which apparently received extensive support from the CIA albeit in an off the books capacity despite its plot drawing extensively from UFO mythology (with references both to Area 51 and Roswell) and its presentation of a sinister government UFO cover-up."

In 2010, the film's director, Andy Fickman a self-described "UFO enthusiast" born and raised in Roswell, New Mexico told me that, although he personally shaped the majority of the films UFO-related content, at least some of it was the result of CIA input." The director claims that, in a highly unusual production arrangement, he and his crew were closely assisted by an active employee of the CIA whose advice extended to designing the alien writing seen in the flying saucer during the films climactic scenes.

Despite my best efforts, Fickman has been unwilling to reveal to me the identity of his CIA advisor, but claims hes a former Air Force Technical Intelligence Officer, that he had been "very active in Hollywood," and "had a lot of connections in the computer world.

Race to Witch Mountain: inside the flying saucer

All of the on-camera alien language in terms of their spaceship and everything that was all designed by him in the sense [of what] the mathematics of communication would be, so you know...there would be a similar mathematical equation that the government probably has if they were to ever come across an alien race. So a lot of the things we ended up using were things he was bringing to me...and the next thing you know, thats what I had on screen.

The alien "language" to which Fickman refers appears onscreen in Race to Witch Mountain in the form of holographic symbols aboard the Nordic aliens flying saucer. Here are three of the most frequently recurring symbols that appear in the climactic scenes of the movie...

The question, of course, is what do these symbols mean? Besides them bearing a passing resemblance to certain crop formations (the authenticity of which is debatable), it is difficult to ascribe any significance to them beyond the fact that they were designed by an alleged CIA operative.

Has the CIA, in cooperation with Disney, presented us with real alien symbols language? If so, to what conceivable end? These symbols were frequently used in antiquity. Disney has overseen the production and/or distribution of numerous UFO and alien-themed movies in recent times, with the best known examples including Flight of the Navigator (1986) Signs (2002), Lilo and Stitch (2002), Chicken Little (2005), Lifted(2007), I am Number Four (2011), Mars Needs Moms (2011) and the forthcoming John Carter (2012)

The Disney/UFO connection can be traced back to 1953 when the CIA-sponsored Robertson Panel recommended that the US government make efforts to strip UFOs of their "aura of mystery" through the exploitation of mass media. In this context, the panel highlighted Walt Disney Productions specifically as a potential conduit for its propaganda. The panels singling-out of Disney made sense given the animation giants then firmly established working relationship with the US government: during World War II Disney made numerous propaganda shorts for the US military, and in the 1950s corporate and government sponsors helped the company produce films promoting President Eisenhower's "Atoms for Peace" policy.

Oscar-winning Disney animator Ward Kimball Best known for creating iconic Disney characters such as Jiminy Cricket and The Mad Hatter, Kimball also worked as Directing Animator on Disney classics including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1938) and Pinocchio (1940).

While at a MUFON symposium in 1979, Kimball claimed that the United States Air Force (USAF) had approached Walt Disney himself in the mid-1950s to request his cooperation on a documentary about UFOs that would help acclimate the American public to the reality of extraterrestrials According to Kimball, in exchange for Disneys cooperation, the USAF offered to furnish the production with genuine UFO footage Kimball claimed that Disney accepted the deal and ever faithful to Uncle Sam began work immediately on the USAF project It wasnt long, however, before the USAF reneged on its offer of UFO footage When Kimball challenged the USAF Colonel overseeing the project he was told that "there was indeed plenty of UFO footage, but that neither Kimball, nor anyone else was going to get access to it." A Disney UFO video was actually produced and shown in the South.

The Kimball case, though, seems to be at odds with the Robertson Panels recommendations, which were to debunk UFO reality through media channels, not promoting it but perhaps another faction within the military-intelligence community one with a UFO acclimation agenda had similarly recognized Disneys propagandist potential?

Lockheed's Skunk Works Confirms It's Their Bird

There's this website called Open Source Geoint and it has published a satellite image of one of the most secret defense plants in the country, the Air Force's Plant 42, where a handful of the top defense companies build some of the country's most highly classified aircraft and sensors.

Plant 42 houses highly classified facilities where a number of contractors, including, most famously,  Lockheed Martin's Skunk Works, where the U-2 spy plane and the F-117 were built.

Dave Majundar who writes Flight Global's the Dew Line, speculates that this aircraft "looks a lot like a RQ-170, but bigger..."He postulates that it may be a P.420, a larger plane than the so-called Beast of Kandahar," It was able to provide important help to the team that killed Osama Bin Laden.

C-130 Crash

Four members of the North Carolina Air National Guard's 145th Airlift Wing in Charlotte died when their Modular Airborne Firefighting System-equipped C-130 crashed on July 1 while fighting a woodland fire in southwestern South Dakota. Two other crewmembers were injured in the crash and hospitalized, after a one-day stand down on July 2, the Air Force's small fleet of firefighting C-130s resumed flight operations to help battle wildfires. As of early morning on July 4, these airplanes, which began operating on June 25, had conducted a total of 105 airdrops and discharged more than 270,000 gallons of fire retardant on the flames in parts of Colorado, Montana, South Dakota, and Wyoming.

Electrical Equipments Stops Working Near Baltic Sea UFO

The OceanX team exploring a UFO-shaped object at the bottom of the Baltic Sea has claimed that their electrical equipments stop working when they approach within 200 meters. Professional diver Stefan Hogerborn, who is part of the Ocean X team which is exploring the anomaly, said some of the teams cameras and the teams satellite phone would refuse to work when directly above the object, and would only work once they had sailed away.

"Anything electric out there - and the satellite phone as well - stopped working when we were above the object," the Daily Mail quoted him as saying. "And then we got away about 200 meters and it turned on again, and when we got back over the object it didnt work," he said. Diver Peter Lindberg admitted,
"We have experienced things that I really couldnt imagine and I have been the team's biggest skeptic regarding these different kind of theories, I was kind of prepared just to find a cliff or outcrop or pile of mud but it was nothing like that, so for me it has been a missing experience I must say," he said

"I am one hundred percent convinced and confident that we have found something in May of last year that is very, very, very unique," member Dennis Asberg said.

There are perfectly straight lines and angles embedded into the smooth structure and a diver is photographed at lower right.

The lines can be made by natural causes, but they look very man made.The grooves are about 1-1.5 meter wide and 0.5-1.5 meters deep. The disc has a completely circular plate-like exterior, 180 meters in circumference. There are stone circles, like "fireplaces" of hard black "almost petrified" burnt looking stone each a few inches in diameter, like 4 or 5 pearls in a necklace in various arrangements on top of the dome. It might be a meteorite, or the base from a U-boat, - or a UFO?

"The Ocean X team did get some pictures, such as these soot-covered rocks that encircled an egg-shaped hole which went into the object at its centre, and have no idea what any of it means. There is a long 985-foot runway, skid marks, or a downhill path that is flattened at the seabed with the object at the end of it.

Some 200 meters away is yet to be explored! The initial side scan sonar images show something shaped like a "gothic church window." It is similar to the larger object and also has a disturbed seafloor area leading up to it, or what could be a ridge. The divers were so amazed by the main anomaly that they simply didnt have time to dive on the second one. The return trip in two weeks time should present an opportunity for this to finally be explored. The sonar picture of the unidentified object resembles the famed Star Wars ship the Millennium Falcon. They have no way of telling what is inside the object whether it is filled with gold and riches or simply aged sediment particles.

Sightings Increase

MUFON CMS continues to amass sighting reports from around the globe. In June 2012 there were 721 sightings reported to MUFON through CMS from the following countries; US 625, Canada 44, UK 10, Australia 6, and Mexico 5.

The National UFO Reporting Center reports 672 sightings in June compared to 472 in May mostly in the US. Frequent of red, orange, or yellow "fireballs or cluster of Fireballs Continue.

Sylmar On July 8, 2012, we were sitting outside when my sister looked up and saw a rotating object in the sky that seemed to be falling. She said "Look, is that a plane falling?" I became a bit nervous as it seemed to be falling. I ran inside to get my husband who came out with his camera and we saw a second similar object. The first one began to go higher towards the mountains. The second object followed the same pattern like the first one, stopping, rotating, and then ascending in the same direction. A third object much longer looking zoomed in the same direction as the first object. It was too fast to be captured on camera. After 15 to 20 minutes, the two objects came closer to each other. The objects just disappeared.

Colorado Bluish-White Lights

Sylmar -- I took this on the night of June 30, 2012 hovering just west of the Central Colorado Rockies. It resembled two hovering field lights in a row Sylmar and Santa Clarita over Interstate 5 in the New Hall Pass.

The bright white is a star is Spica, but I do not know what the dots are nor the blue object that morphs into different shapes, Thanks for your updates one of the best out there!

WATERLOO -- My husband and I went outside after 9 pm, on July 3, 2012, when I heard him say, "Something above us looks odd." I looked up and right overhead was a silently flying vehicle heading northwest. It had four perfectly spaced lights that were larger than those of higher flying planes. The lights were perfectly spaced apart and flashing slowly. This "square object" was about the size of a quarter while planes were the size of a small felt-tipped marker. Massachusetts Orange Fireballs Over Cape Cod Bay

Michigan Sun Dog

Howell -- Doug Parrish writes, "The sighting along I-94 near Kalamazoo is suspect, the "second sun" to the left of the real sun is most likely situated at 22.5 that is normally called a "sun dog," i.e. a refraction of the sunlight through a high-level of ice crystals in the upper atmosphere. In perfect viewing conditions, there would also be one on the right at the same degree of separation. I see them often in my part of SE Lower Michigan. They are a natural occurrence.

INDEPENDENCE -- We were celebrating with fireworks when my 10 year old Aaron said, "Whats that?" I saw what I now have to say was a UFO. We saw two of the exact same objects flying in formation at a steady speed. By the time I got my video camera it was traveling away from us. I got some pretty good video of them with me zooming in and out and trying to keep them both in picture. They stayed in formation as they traveled east out of sight I live about a mile from the old airport. Strangest unexplainable thing we have ever seen.

Montana Mutilated Cow

Polson -- A strangely mutilated cow found dead southwest of Polson has launched an investigation by the Lake County Sheriffs Department on June 27, 2012. Deputies were notified of the killing Saturday, but from the level of decomposition, the adult cow was likely killed Wednesday, said Dan Yonkin, Lake County undersheriff.

What is being described as a non-natural death occurred in the Valley View area, which is an area that is home to many cattle ranches in Lake County? Some of the meat from the animal had been cut off and some of the organs removed. A local veterinarian responded to the ranch to perform a necropsy on the animal, and samples collected from the necropsy were sent to a Colorado lab for further investigation.

Yonkin said, "Its an odd thing, and we initially suspected animal predation, but weve ruled that out and it appears it is human caused." The cow was among a herd when the unusual killing took place.

Yonkin said, the Sheriffs Department is methodically going through the details of the incident and will continue to investigate until the answers to the mystery are found.

"Our concern is we dont want to see more of these," Yonkin said, "I wouldnt want ranchers to be concerned every night when they go to bed that when they wake up their cows will have been killed in their pasture."

New Jersey Flying Object

BRIGATINE -- On June 16, 2012, at 9:45 pm, while sitting on a balcony at the Jersey shore I observed coming from the north what I thought was a plane. Soon I realized that what I saw was quickly changing directions, and moving faster than a plane. I observed the object going to the northeast near the Big Dipper Constellation. Cherry Hill -- My daughter and I witnessed a stationary daylight object in the sky on July 6, 2012, at 6:30 PM. I was driving on Route 38 past the Cherry Hill Mall when my daughter pointed out a hovering object. As we drove, it was periodically obscured by trees. My daughter thought it was rectangular, but I saw a dull gray triangle. It was difficult for me to keep my eyes on it since I was driving. When we stopped at a red light, a driver in the next lane had to slam on their brakes, which made me wonder if the driver was watching it too. Princeton --While out shopping on July 10, 2012, I was observing the beautiful clouds in the sky. I snapped two photos with my cell phone camera: one at 3:04 pm and another at 3:06 PM both facing north. After downloading the photos to my computer, I noticed a strangely-shaped, dark object in front of one of the puffy white clouds on the first photo. The object is not on the second photo. MEDFORD On July 6, 2012, I had my first UFO sighting while lying on my bed. Out my window I saw an orange orb moving slowly and silently. I got out my phone and to get a shot of the object. It was an orange orb about 200 feet away from my window.

Washington Light

Seattle On July 4, 2012, during fireworks a very reddish orange light flew higher and higher then faded out as it headed south. It kept going and many people saw it near the fireworks and even in other states. It was nothing from this world.

Orillia, Ontario -- On July 1st, 2012, after watching the concert at Burls Creek Family Campground we set up overnight camp. It was about 11:45 PM, on July 1, 2012, when I witnessed three brilliant round orange UFOs. Two were much more distant moving south very slow. Then a third one came across much closer above moving east. Within five seconds, I immediately pulled out my camera to capture the moment on video mode. There was pulsation of brightness coming from this brilliant orange round swirling object. It had a fluid-like movement. It was really an extraordinary show in the sky for five minutes. Chile Research

Region IV, Regional Research has devised a method to capture flying objects that the human eye cannot see, because they do not reflect the light. For many years there has been talk that the Elqui Valley is a prime location for the sighting of UFOs. There are dozens of stories and many mysterious pictures, not to mention the case of an alleged flying saucer that crashed into a Paihuano hill. There are also many more UFOs flying over the hills, that are invisible to the naked eye? This was discovered by regional researcher Patricio Diaz, who years ago noticed that the photos you took to elquinos landscapes, strange forms appeared after daylight, of which no one realized at the time.

Patricio Diaz thought quickly to take photos with two cameras; one a standard camera and an infrared camera. Infrared is a type of light you cannot see. Our eyes can only see what we call visible light. Infrared light gives us special information that we cannot get from visible light. It shows how much heat something has and gives information about the temperature of an object. Everything has some heat and radiates infrared light. Even those we think are very cool. Patricio Diaz says, "My profession is an electronic technician and I worked to change the camera, the software, shutter speed, and I use a polarizing filter." It was a long process and managed to save these objects," said Diaz. He was shooting in places like Pisco Elqui, El Molle, Vicua and Paihuano. "We achieved very interesting and good results. I used the second camera to have a comparison of what I was recording in infrared. If it appeared as a bird or an insect we can discern if the object is passing fast and blurred.

In contrast, the other objects were in the focal plane of the hill, shot 4 or 5 miles and the object looked sharp and movements that did were very interesting. They stopped in the air so it cannot be a meteorite. Diaz has spent 25 years devoted to UFO research and these strange aerial phenomena were captured in the Elqui Valley in broad daylight.

Case Paihuano was forever on the map of world ufology on October 7, 1998, when a dozen people witnessed the crash of a reddish fireball UFO against the Cerro Las Mollacas. Copenhagen -- I was sitting on my balcony on July 1, 2012, when I saw two red lights flying north faster than planes, side by side. They disappeared, and then two other lights passed in the sky. I tried to take pictures and shoot a video but they were blurred due to the speed of the moving objects. Two light couples passed by in few minutes. The last light couple disbanded: one going straight, the other vanishing. The speed was far faster than a plane; and there was no noise. BERLIN -- A friend and I were trying to make some photos from the Berlin television tower of a golden object. I saw an object at very high altitude on February 15, 2012, it moved slowly to the right and then to the left, but most of the time it seemed to be stationary. Pakistan Lights

Faisalabad On July 1, 2012, I saw flashing lights in the sky. We used to sleep on the roof and frequently saw flashing lights in the sky not caused by lightning. The flashing lights come up while the stars are in the sky. Ive seen over 500 lights and this happened daily. I was able to get friends to take photos of the lights.

The lights are high sharp lights which enlightened the whole surrounding area like daylight for 1 to 2 seconds. We have assumed some ufos are studying our family and taking snaps with their own cameras. Most of the people of the city have also seen these objects as well. SOUTH HAMPSHIRE -- I am going to tell you now about a UK case that is the best of its kind anywhere in the world ever that occurred in August 2011. Everything has also been thoroughly examined by the editor of the Flying Saucer Review, Britains oldest UFO journal to which our Royal Family even subscribes and has done since it started the late 50's. I have tried to tell the media but they arent interested.

It's enough to make one think that smoking gun evidence about aliens and UFO's is somehow taboo. The witness was bathed in colored light as he filmed this object. There were two of these originally, until its companion flew off, leaving this one to put on its fabulous display..

All the photos have been enlarged for ease of viewing and are not objects close to the lens and have been professionally examined and are original images. I know the people involved who are senior in age, really nice, humble, simple folk and good family friends of me and my partner. They know little about computers but are definitely in contact with an alien race. There is no doubt about it. I would wager the entire contents of my home on it. They seek to remain anonymous and do not seek money.

The contacts have included numerous detailed UFO photo opportunities, a face-to-face meeting with Nordic-type aliens in a highly remote woodland clearing, and various abductions by small fawn-colored beings. These contactees have been keen ufologists, active in the field for more than 40 years, out sky watching several times a week in all weathers

One of the witnesses was abducted on Dragon Hill, Wiltshire and taken while holding his camera. Whilst on board he was allowed to obtain images of the alien beings, and other shots, and was returned together with his camera. The other witness even has shots of an unidentified planet, and many space shots showing nebula's, galaxies etc, that even one of the UK's top astronomers was left stunned and in his 21 years of studying the sky, he said had never come across anything like it. The images even rival those taken by the Hubble Space telescope.

I wrote to NASA of course about this. They refused to answer me. The downside to all of this is the witnesss burns and scars left from over exposure to the craft and their environments, together with what are believed to be medical experiments performed on them. Nat Geo’s Chasing UFOs: Two of the Stars Say the Show was Hijacked

My last article on this website, Nat Geo’s Chasing UFOs: Investigation as Farce, roundly criticized the format and content of the new reality series currently being aired on the National Geographic channel. Having meticulously investigated UFO activity at nuclear weapons sites for 39 years—utilizing declassified U.S. government documents and the testimony of more than 130 military veterans—I was appalled by the ridiculous thrashing around in the dark and superficial-to-non-existent analysis by the trio of “investigators” offered up in the program’s first three episodes.

I was/am concerned that public and scientific perceptions about the UFO phenomenon, and those who actually research it, will be very negatively impacted as a result of Chasing UFO’s pretend-investigation approach to the subject. God knows there already exists a pervasive perception, at least in some quarters, that there is no “there” there. Therefore, this crap was the last thing that I, or anyone who wishes to learn the facts about UFOs, needed to see on their TV screens.

Out of a sense of fair play, upon posting the article I emailed one of the show’s stars, filmmaker James Fox—whose previous two UFO documentaries I loved—and notified him that I had just publicly trashed him and his current project. To his credit, he took my very harsh but accurate criticism in stride and, in response, subsequently offered some mostly-apologetic commentary on UFO researcher, journalist, and best-selling author Leslie Kean’s Facebook site:


Shortly thereafter, a second member of the Chasing UFOs trio, Dr. Ben McGee, added his own input. Both comments appear below and, as of this moment, over 40 other individuals have been added their views to the very influential blog.

James Fox said: I know how disappointed all of you are. I am too. It's not the show that was sold to both myself and scientist Ben. Two months into it, we were off to a great start; good locations, solid witnesses and some opportunities for Ben to apply his field research as a geologist at some crash sites. Very exciting stuff. Unfortunately, when we actually got out in the field we began to realize that they were more interested in poking around a night than allocating the time necessary during the day as apparently (so we were told) Americans love watching others sneak around at night from the comfort of their couches. Ben and I reluctantly played along...and it wasn't always bad. We really set up field maps and surveillance at the Roswell crash site (with a slew of high tech gear) and ran out of daylight. As it was in the middle of nowhere we all decided to work through the night and did find something...there were other cases in the show where when witnesses claimed to see strange lights appear in certain areas and that too made some sense for us to go out at night...but for the most part it was gratuitous night time boloney. As far as the title, it was UFO Investigations until they switched it to Chasing UFOs after it was all shot and edited. So with a lack of control in the field and zero in post the show is what it is. Having said that, all my previous works are circulating Nat Geo headquarters and I've been influencing and establishing contacts in the mainstream (middle america mainstream) and will continue to do so and I will only return if I'm on as a producer all the way through to the end. Will it ever be I Know What I Saw or Leslie's great work...? No, but I'll do my best to make is a credible while entertaining as possible (as that's most important to Nat Geo). I promise I'll either quit or change my position within the show because at least I can make it all make some sense. The show does get a bit better further down the road but not a lot. Please bare with me a bit longer as I've jumped into the lions den to see what I could do from the inside. My credibility and reputation has, deservedly, taken a serious hit but know that I'm hoping to come out with an opportunity that otherwise wouldn't have presented itself. Fingers crossed. James

Ben McGee said: Greetings, all - James asked me to chime in as well. When we were brought onboard, the project certainly had a much harder inclination than its final realization, and as a career scientist I was excited that NatGeo was at the helm (unaware of their desire for a major shift in programming flavor). Our intentions were very sincere, and the project working title was even more serious than James remembers: Sightings Investigated. For my own part, while personally unconvinced of any extraterrestrial visitation, I had plans to provide insightful context that I thought viewers of all stripes would appreciate and find engaging - examples of spaceflight technology, astronomy, planetary science - helping anchor the show and explain why the scientific establishment supports the possibility of extraterrestrial life yet is unconvinced of extraterrestrial visitation either now or in the distant past. We filmed much of this content, but as you no doubt noticed, the great majority was ultimately not included. Apparently, such is television. James and I both had expectations and (for our own reasons) hopes of an ultimately serious product. We both saw the project heading in a different direction as time went on and were powerless to influence it. Injecting science into mainstream media is also problematic, and I am suffering heat in my own circles for the lack thereof on the show. I will personally vouch that James's motives were true, and if anyone is interested in the science that we did perform, I’m keeping a blog on the NatGeo website (linked below).

My own opinion, expressed in great detail in my first a article on this subject, is that the fix was in from the get-go and neither Fox, McGee nor Erin Ryder (the trio’s third member) had any real chance of influencing or altering the ridiculous outcome.

Indeed, the Nat Geo network’s track record on UFO “documenataries” speaks for itself. As I wrote in the other article, “Over the years I had told several people, only half-jokingly, that if the Nat Geo scripts were not actually written at CIA headquarters, the network was at least making the agency very happy by broadcasting its poorly researched, extremely biased, essentially propagandistic shows on the UFO subject.”

Those comments were specifically directed toward Nat Geo’s other new UFO program, The Truth Behind UFOs: Popped, a true-to-form debunking exercise—only the latest of many—which aired the night before the premier of Chasing UFOs. Given the absurd ambiance offered by latter, I suppose I can now add, “Not to mention making otherwise serious people who sincerely wish to investigate the phenomenon look like fools.”

ROSWELL: Battelle Scientist Confesses To UFO Crash Debris Analysis

     Newly discovered documents reveal that in the months immediately following the purported 1947 UFO crash at Roswell, secret government studies began on a material that was previously unknown to science. The "memory metal" that was studied precisely matches some of the debris material reported by several witnesses to the crash. Evidence shows that -under military direction- these unique metal studies were undertaken by a contracted laboratory that possessed advanced technical capabilities that the U.S. government itself did not have at the time. A former high-level scientist employed by the involved laboratory has offered a confession that he was tasked to study the crashed UFO material. Information provided by two U.S. Air Force Generals also offers direct support for this discovery.

The documents suggest that after the crash, the US government attempted to develop a unique material that is today referred to as memory metal. This shape-recovery alloy was reported by several witnesses to the Roswell crash in the summer of 1947. The lightweight "morphing" material was able to be crumpled or deformed and then return itself instantly and seamlessly to its original state. The metallurgical discoveries that resulted from these studies were then "seeded" for further technology development to other government agencies (including NASA) and through a series of military contracts to universities and industry.

THE BATTELLE MEMORIAL INSTITUTE

The laboratory contracted by Wright Patterson Air Force Base to perform these studies was Battelle Memorial Institute in Columbus, OH. It has been credibly reported that Wright Patterson Air Force Base was the very base where the Roswell UFO debris was flown after the crash.

Recently obtained documents reveal that these studies for Wright Patterson were conducted at Battelle under the direction of Dr. Howard C. Cross. In the late 1940's, H.C Cross was Battelle's expert scientist in exotic metallurgy and Titanium alloy research.

Curiously –although he was a research metallurgist- Cross was also Battelle’s "point person" in later studies on UFOs that Battelle conducted in the early 1950's for the U.S. Air Force's official UFO study, Project Bluebook. Cross is likely an author of Project Bluebook's still-missing Report Number 13. He is also the author of a strange letter from Battelle to Wright Patterson known as "The Pentacle" memo. Dr. Cross' historic role will be detailed in a forthcoming article.

Founded in 1929, Battelle is engaged in research, development and commercialization of technological innovation. They specialize in materials science and engineering, life sciences, energy science and national security. Battelle contract operates many of our country's National Laboratories. This includes some of the U.S.'s most sensitive installations such as Oak Ridge, Lawrence Livermore and Brookhaven laboratories. Battelle is headquartered in proximity to Wright Patterson- and remains one of the nation's leading defense contractors. Their metallurgical capabilities and technical talent continue to be recognized as world-class.

The General's Widow: A Roswell Tell-All

     Captivating and credible testimony recently obtained from the elderly widow of a highly-placed U.S. Air Force General reveals that the Roswell crash of 1947 was in fact an extraterrestrial event. Her confession affirms that the true nature of the wreck has been shrouded in secrecy for decades- even from those at the highest levels of government.

Her husband, General Harry Nations Cordes, who possessed Top Secret/SCI clearance, was uniquely positioned to be "in the know" on such matters. Perhaps no other military man in history can lay claim to having been stationed at Roswell Army Air Field in July of 1947; later with Wright Patterson Air Force Base; to have worked at Area 51; been employed by the CIA; to have acted as Deputy Chief of Staff at Intelligence Headquarters for the Strategic Air Command (SAC) and still later to have led many intelligence functions at the Pentagon.

The Cordes story is a telling one- and leaves little doubt that what fell from the skies to the desert floor in New Mexico six decades ago was not from Earth.

The General
Harry Cordes graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, GA and received an MBA from the George Washington University in Washington, DC. Shortly after the outbreak of WWII, duty called and Harry enlisted in the Army Air Force, graduating first in his class at navigation school. There, his love of flying developed and he was accepted for flight training as a pilot. Spanning over four decades, Cordes' career involved him in many historical events. He flew over 25 types of different planes. He flew combat and reconnaissaince missions in Europe, the Pacific, and Vietnam. Gary Powers, who gained global attention during the height of the Cold War, served under Cordes.Cordes was a U-2 pilot and was the first human to fly in a space suit. Cordes saw action in the Bay of Pigs, the Cuban Missille Crisis and the A-Bomb tests at Bikini Atoll. He served at the highest level of decision-making for many of the nation's most confidential matters, including "Star Wars" - the Strategic Defense Initiative.

Time at Roswell
In 1947 Cordes was stationed at Roswell (RAAF) as a Radar Operator. It was there that he met he met Rogene, his future wife. Rogene's father's cattle and sheep ranch was adjacent to the Roswell crash site. It is Rogene Cordes with whom this author has had extensive dialogue over several months. It is Rogene Cordes -the General's widow- who felt compelled in the winter of her life to now tell all about what she and her husband knew about the Roswell crash and its history-making implications.

Their Roswell Story

Both Rogene and Harry were well aware of the crash of a "flying disk" at the time of its occurence in the summer of 1947. As Roswell residents at the time, they read the papers and they personally knew many of the involved principals. But it was not until the 1980s when the Roswell story was brought back into the public eye that they began to discuss the meaning of the event and the truth of what has crashed there. Rogene recounts that she knew her husband knew much about the incident. She too wanted to know what really had happened.

Rogene told me that she used every tool she could to get him to talk. This included what she called "beauty" and "pillow talk" to coax him to reveal more about what he knew about the crash. Harry told her that he was not physically at the base the week of the crash and that he was on travel during that time period. She hints that she did not believe that he told her all that he knew. When she pressed him further he told her, "many of the guys there knew what had really happened. But it was a matter of duty to country to never talk." Finally, after repeated attempts, Harry told her, "I was a radar operator at RAAF as you know. The object was flying and it was unidentified. The machine was tracked by White Sands radar and those folks didn't know what the hell was happening." She pressed further. She said, "Just tell me, was it a balloon?" Harry replied, "It was no balloon. Jesse Marcel told the truth. But if I tell you the details you will never view life the same." He beseeched her to ask no more. But she did. Harry blurted out, "Rogene, if I tell you...I will have to kill you." She thought he was joking. But Harry was not laughing.

Much later Rogene much decided to approach her by-then retired husband on the Roswell matter more assumptively. She asked him directly, "Where do they keep the craft honey, at Area 51?" She knew of course that he had worked at the Nevada Test Site for some time. He told her that it was not stored there. "Maybe at one time it was at Wright Patt, in off-limits area."

Still later Rogene brought up the issue with her husband, remembering that he was in the CIA at one time. She asked him, "What did you learn about the crash when you were at the CIA?" The last thing he would utter on the matter to her was, "When I went to work for the CIA one of the first things that I did was to look for the Roswell file. I know it exists, but it was missing. Either that or they were hiding it from me."

Rogene told me that "I know that he wondered his whole life why there was a coverup- why they would not tell the people."

Though Harry Cordes was sparse in details about Roswell, he would tell her more general stories about UFOs that were encountered during his time in service. He told his family (including both of his daughters) that at one time when he was flying at 70,000 feet (the highest anyone has ever flown up to that time) he had personally witnessed what he said, "could only have been an alien craft."

Rogene's Roswell Secrets
Rogene, born and raised outside Roswell, NM, grew up on a ranch. She was employed at a Roswell bank in the summer of 1947. Rogene knew many of the people in the community whose names today are well-known in relation to the Roswell crash.
She spoke cryptically of Butch Blanchard, who was Commander of RAAF at the time of crash, "Butch was a believer." She states that she knew he had told "all the guys involved at the base" (many of whom she and her husband entertained at their home with dinners, card games and BBQ's) to say nothing of the crash event. Whenever she brought up the subject with the "military fellows" she was met with stoney silence. She said to me, "Anyone who wanted to stay in the military simply didn't talk about it! It was their patriotic duty to not say much and to not ask too many questions." She also knew Blanchard's wife at the time, Ethel. She believes that Ethel was emotionally distressed over her husband Butch's involvement in the retrieval- and that it may well have contributed to their eventual divorce.

Rogene lived just a few doors down from Roswell Sheriff George Wilcox and his wife, Inez. Rogene even today does not like to talk about the Wilcox involvement, "George Wilcox and Inez were threatened and were afraid for their own reasons. They really did not want to ever discuss it, not even to talk about it with their friends. George changed after all of that."

Though Rogene is unsure about the totality of the truth of embalmer and undertaker Glenn Dennis' Roswell tales, she said that she went to high school with Glenn. She knew him to be "on the straight and narrow." But one story he told she knows was true. The day after the Roswell crash Rogene was trying to get ice for the soda and beer for the holiday weekend. She made the "usual rounds" for ice, including at Clardy's- the general store in town. She was told that Roswell base personnel had already been in and that "they cleared out all the ice, they bought it all." She then went to the train station, where dry ice could be purchased. To her amazement, she was told that the Roswell base personnel had already been there too and "had bought it all out." Rogene felt that the entire town had it's entire supply of ice and dry ice depleted. This had never happened before or since the crash weekend. Later, when Glenn told about the need for ice to help preserve the bodies from the crash, she "put two and two together."

Most interestingly, Rogene confirms that there were military cordons around surrounding ranch lands to the crash site. With her own eyes she saw "military men with guns at their sides" who would not let people pass. Their paths were diverted away from the area. Later she also overheard talk at the bank "from early-rising ranchers" about long trucks covered in canvas going to the base.

Finally, she explained that she knew Walter Haut well. Haut was the public information officer at the Roswell Army Air Field who issued the story of a "flying disk" that had fallen near Roswell. Rogene believed that the original story issued was the true story. The news story was recanted the following day. She said, "I know Walter finally confessed that it was not from Earth at the end of his life. Walter finally told the truth."

The woman from Roswell -the General's widow- had cleared her conscious. She concluded her conversations with me, "Harry died in 2004. He didn't want to say everything he could have. But I feel better telling what I know. People should know. And now they will. Roswell really happened."
