To me, it was the urge to see it up close before it got away, Travis Walton said about why he ran toward the light.
Walton now attends and speaks at UFO conferences like one in the Phoenix area this spring.
Hollywood told the UFO abduction story in the 1993 sci-fi flick Fire in the Sky.
Walton wrote a book describing and analyzing the encounter.

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - It's one of the most famous and well-documented UFO stories ever. It thrust a small Arizona town into the international spotlight. Hollywood made a movie about it. Decades later, people are still talking about it, and the man in the middle of it all has a message for you.
For some, what happened in the White Mountains on November 5, 1975 is a matter of belief. For others, its fact.
Twenty-two-year-old Travis Walton was with a logging crew in a national forest outside Snowflake, Ariz. In the darkness, the crew said they saw a glow.
To me, it was the urge to see it up close before it got away, Walton told KGUN9 recently.
The 90s sci-fi flick Fire the Sky shows what Travis said "it" was: some kind of spaceship.
After Walton ran toward the glow, he later described, I was hit by a blast of energy from this craft.
His buddies all said they saw it, too. They drove off without him and later told deputies about Waltons disappearance. A massive search followed.
Days later, Walton finally turned up on a street, half-conscious, and soon describing the inside of a UFO.
Now, nearly four decades later, Walton -- and every single man there that night -- are all still sticking to that story.
It's an ongoing battle, he said, explaining hes spent years fighting what he calls "misinformation."
That I had been hallucinating on drugs, that the hypnotist had planted these memories in my mind, he said, giving examples.
Walton wrote a tell-all book, pointing out, for example, every crew member passed a lie detector test.
Walton said it's only a matter of time till everyone's a believer.
The skeptics are a bit like Flat Earthers, he said.
Chris Impey is a distinguished professor at the University of Arizona's astronomy department. He said personal stories and fuzzy photos don't cut it -- that scientists need hard evidence as proof in cases like Walton's.
Some artifact, some physical object that we can look at -- that anyone can look at -- and say, 'No, this isn't terrestrial,' Impey said.
No such object has ever been delivered into a scientist's hands so they remain skeptics, he added.
Firm belief in what happened near Snowflake forced Steve Pierce to break his silence. He was there that night.
It just scared me so bad that I didn't talk about, Pierce told KGUN9 over the phone.
He didnt talk about it until recently. Pierce said he's speaking up to get the "truth" out there, at the request of his daughter.
My family still doesnt believe us, he said. I've got two brothers that still don't believe it.
Walton also has people close to him that dont believe, he said. Thats one reason he regretted running toward the light that night.
I wished I'd stayed in the truck, he said.
It derailed my life and I wish I could have it back, he also said, adding hes since accepted what happened as fate.
Still, he has never changed his story and neither have any of the witnesses. Nearly 40 years later, the mystery of Snowflake lives on.

Good morning,
My name is Gary Heseltine and I am a recently retired police detective in England having served almost 24 years with the British Transport Police.
I am here on behalf of police officers worldwide who have witnessed UFOs.
In January 2002 I created the POLICE REPORTING UFO SIGHTINGS website otherwise known as the PRUFOS Database, (www.prufospolicedatabase.co.uk) a facility for recording and collating on and off duty British police officer UFO reports.
When I began my research I did so with a handful of cases involving a dozen officers, 11 years later I can reveal that I now have over 425 cases taking place between 1901-2012 that involve in excess of 940 British police officers.
These sightings have taken place the length and breadth of Britain and have been reported at all times of the day.
Analysis of the cases on the database reveals that over 70% are multiple officer reports thus offering significant corroboration to a sighting event.
Many cases involve corroboration by 6 officers or more with events being witnessed by officers from multiple geographical locations.
In one particular case in excess of 24 police officers were involved in tracking at least one object over six counties of Britain on the night of March 30-31st 1993. This case is referred to as the Cosford Incident.
Many officers have observed structured craft of huge size and proportions in close proximity to their ground position. These craft range in shape and dimensions from tens of feet to many hundreds of feet in size.
Many of the police witness cases on the database are truly extraordinary and I will highlight three of these.
For example in October 1984 near RAF NORTHHOLT in Middlesex, a silent black triangular craft was seen at low altitude by two uniformed police officers on mobile patrol which they described as the being the size of three football fields. When I sought to clarify the estimate of the size the officer told me that the size was accurate because when it was observed it was seen directly over three football fields.

On another occasion in October 1978 three uniformed police officers in a rural area of Buckinghamshire observed a huge object (described as the size of a football field) which suddenly and silently materialised in front of them in the blink of an eye and at relative close proximity to their position. A number of smaller objects were seen flying around the larger main craft. The larger object then projected a wide beam of light down to the ground as it slowly traversed the landscape for several minutes before suddenly disappearing in the blink of an eye. The manner of its appearance and disappearance was described as like switching a light bulb on and off.

Many officers have seen objects that appear to move in ways that seem to defy the known laws of physics and aerodynamics.
For example in May of 1981 or 82 two firearms officers were involved in the close protection of a then prominent Conservative Minister at a secret location in North Yorkshire. At approximately 0530 hours in the morning as they were walking in the grounds of the residence they suddenly became aware that the early morning sunshine had darkened. When they looked up to establish the cause they saw a huge dark purple cylindrical object, which had a pronounced undercarriage underneath it, that was described as being the length of a football field and hovering silently above the house at an altitude of 200/300 feet. The object remained motionless above the house for 5-10 minutes before it suddenly and silently accelerated toward the horizon at a tremendous speed. There it remained stationary for a short time before quickly accelerating out of sight.

In my introduction I mentioned that I would refer to police officer sightings worldwide and in the time permitted I would like to draw your attention to two particular countries where numerous police officer UFO sightings have taken place.
Namely I refer to the United States and Belgium.
Many of the US cases are outstanding and I will highlight two of them.
Just after midnight on 14th December 1994, 15 police officers of Trumball County, Ohio, observed multiple circular UFOs from different geographical positions. In one particular sighting the engine of police vehicle driven by Sergeant Toby Meloro suddenly cut out. When he got out of the vehicle he observed a UFO hovering directly above him and the vehicle. As soon as the object moved silently away from the vehicle engine restarted and for a short time tried to pursue it.
On 5th January 2000 in Illinois multiple police officers observed a large triangular craft that was witnessed from many different geographical locations and was sometimes seen at close proximity to their ground positions.
Broadly speaking all the officers involved in both of these incidents describe craft that moved in silence and which were able to make incredible high speed manoeuvres unlike that of any known aircraft.
Finally in the skies above Belgium between 1989-1991 hundreds of police officers observed large triangular objects all over the country. Many of these sightings involved multiple police officer witnesses and were frequently seen at relative close proximity to their ground locations. In addition many of these sightings were confirmed on multiple civilian and multiple military radar facilities.
In the allotted 10 minutes given to brief you I want to say on behalf of all police officers worldwide that what many of them have observed have been actual craft, physical in nature and which moved in ways that the officers involved have never witnessed before or since their encounters.
*At the end of my testimony I shall be submitting summary reports of all the cases I have highlighted here today for your perusal.
In closing I urge this panel to accept their collective testimonies as genuine and that they offer compelling circumstantial evidence that many of these sightings represent extraordinary unknown structured craft flying in the Earths airspace.
In closing and on a personal note I believe the time is now to lift the veil of secrecy that has shrouded this subject for over 60 years and that the subject of UFOs should now be openly accepted in the mainstream media as being real in nature which in turn would allow people from around the world to come forward without fear of ridicule and a risk to their careers.
As a police detective of many years service I believe the collective testimonial, documentary and physical evidence obtained in over sixty years of UFO research overwhelmingly confirms that some UFO sightings do represent an ongoing extraterrestrial engagement with planet Earth.
I am deeply honoured to have given testimony before this panel and I submit it to your on behalf of police officers worldwide.

A passenger plane came within 300 feet of crashing into a 'UFO' flying over Glasgow, an official investigation has found.
The plane was less than 10 seconds away from hitting the object as it flew over Baillieston on the outskirts of Glasgow at 3,500ft and prepared to land.
Despite an extensive investigation, the UK Airprox Board - which investigates reports of near misses - was unable to identify the 'blue and yellow' object which passed below the Airbus 320.

The pilot was clearly shocked and reported that there had been a 'high' risk of collision following the incident on December 2 last year.
He told his control tower: 'We just had something pass underneath us quite close. Have you got anything on in our area.'
They replied: 'Negative. Weve got nothing on radar and were not talking to any traffic either'
The unidentified flying object passed directly beneath the plane before either of the crew had a chance to take action to avoid it.
Both pilots described the object as 'blue and yellow (or silver) in colour with a small frontal area but that it was "bigger than a balloon".'
The airline involved has not been identified by the report authors.
Several companies fly in Airbus 320 planes from the airport and they can seat up to 220 people - although the number of seats varies.

The report authors said they had not been able to work out what the object was.
They wrote: 'The controller stated that he was not talking to anyone else in that area and that nothing was seen on radar. Search action was taken with no result and the A320 pilot stated his intention to file an Airprox.
'Additionally, a further detailed review of individual radar sources did not yield any conclusive radar data that matched the A320 pilot's description of the encounter.

A320: 'Glasgow Approach [A320 C/S]'
Air Traffic Control: '[A320 C/S] pass your message'
A320: 'Er yeah we just had something pass underneath us quite close and nothing on TCAS have you got anything on in our area'
Control: 'Er negative er weve got nothing on er radar and were n-not talking to any traffic either'
A320: 'Er not quite sure what it was but it definitely er quite large and its blue and yellow'
Control: 'OK thats understood er do you have a an estimate for the height'
A320: 'Maybe er yeah we were probably about erm four hundred to five hundred feet above it so its probably about three and a half thousand feet.
' we seemed to only miss it by a couple of hundred feet it went directly beneath us wherever we were when we called it in it was within about ten seconds
' couldnt tell what direction it was going but it went right underneath us'
Control: 'do you suspect it might have been a glider or something like that'
A320: 'well maybe a microlight it just looked too big for a balloon.
'The Air Traffic Control unit's own radar replay also showed no surveillance traces in the immediate vicinity of the A320 at the time.'
Once on the ground the A320 pilot gave a further description of the event to the Glasgow Aerodrome Controller.
The pilot said: 'We seemed to only miss it by a couple of hundred feet it went directly beneath us - wherever we were when we called it in it was within about ten seconds; couldn't tell what direction it was going but it went right underneath us.'
Asked if he thought it was a glider, the pilot replied: 'well maybe a microlight - it just looked too big for a balloon.'
But the board ruled out any such aircraft and were baffled.
'The board initially considered likely candidates for the untraced aircraft. The A320 crew had not been able to assimilate any information regarding the form of the untraced aircraft in the fleeting glimpse they had, reporting only a likely colour,' it said.
'Members were of the opinion that, in the absence of a primary radar return, it was unlikely that the untraced aircraft was a fixed-wing or rotary-wing aircraft or man-carrying balloon.
'It was considered that a meteorological balloon would be radar significant and unlikely to be released in the area of the Airprox.
'A glider could not be discounted but it was felt unlikely that one would be operating in that area, both due to the constrained airspace and the lack of thermal activity due to the low temperature.
'Similarly, The board considered that a hang-glider or para-motor would be radar significant and that conditions precluded them, as they did para-gliders or parascenders.
'Members were unable to reach a conclusion as to a likely candidate for the conflicting aircraft and it was therefore felt that the Board had insufficient information to determine a cause or risk.'
The mysteries behind many UFO sightings may never be explained, but what happened over Puget Sound on June 21, 1947 is a mystery that's getting new life in a film.
It's a complex story with many facets, but it that can be summarized like this: At 2 p.m., Harold Dahl was on a fishing boat salvaging logs with his young son when he said he saw six flying discs appear above him over the water.
One of the donut-shaped discs appeared to be in trouble and dropped what appeared to be tons of a hot molten substance in the water and the beach. As the story goes, the heat and debris killed his dog and burned his son.
Days later he was visited by a mysterious "man in black," who told him not to talk about what he saw. He was then visited by two Air Force investigators who were on a classified mission to see him and gather evidence. On the investigators' return to a California airbase, the B-25 they were piloting crashed, killing both of them and destroying whatever evidence they were carrying. The FBI closed the case without any resolution.
It's known as the Maury Island Incident.
"They are just many unanswered questions and that makes it an intriguing mystery and maybe a solvable mystery, we don't know," said Philip Lipson, Co-director of the Northwest Museum of Legends and Lore.
Lipson and the museum's other co-director, Charlette LaFevre have been investigating the incident for the last 10 years.
What makes the Maury Island Incident significant in UFO lore is its timing. It happened three days before pilot Ken Arnold's famous sighting of "flying saucers" over Mt. Rainier.
The media called Arnold's account of what appeared to be disc's skipping across sky as flying saucers and that's where the term first originated.
Two weeks after Dahl's sighting came Roswell, which is arguably the most famous claim of an alien crash landing on earth. After that, the floodgates of UFO sightings opened wide as it seem everyone had a story to tell. But to UFO buffs, the Maury Island Incident started it all.
"It's not promoted like Roswell but I always say it's the Roswell of the northwest," LeFevre said.
Seattle's Northwest Museum of Legend and Lore has a collection dedicated to the incident, including a piece said to be from the B-25 that crashed new Kelso Washington on August 1.
That date also has some significance as it was the first day the Air Force separated from the Army and became a branch of the armed services. The crash is considered the first Air Force Crash ever.

The official UFO Hearing held at the United Nations Special Political Committee on November 28, 1978 was undoubtedly one of the great milestones in the history of ufology, particularly when it comes to its recognition by key international institutions. While photos of this event have been published many times, I am not aware of any footage ever been shown in a UFO documentary or news story. Last week I received a box of old videos that had somehow gotten separates from the rest of my UFO collection, and while looking at the videotapes, I rediscovered one that had been given to me many years ago by the late Colman von Keviczky, the director of ICUFON (Intercontinental UFO Network) and veteran New York ufologist. The tape included raw footage of the UN UFO Hearing and press conference shot by Colman himself, who was a professional cameraman.
The footage you are about to see lasts 1:15 min. and begins with a shot of the hall of the Special Political Committee where the UFO Hearing was held; it then shows Dr. J. Allen Hynek addressing the delegates and you can see Prime Minister Gairy sitting behind the astronomer; the camera then pans over the tables where the delegates sit, showing many empty seats; back to Hynek and the screen where a montage of UFO footage (both films and still photos) prepared by Lee Spiegel for Hynek's Center for UFO Studies (CUFOS) was shownbecause the camera was far from the screen and you can barely see the footage, we have edited it out; next you'll see a second panelist addressing the committee, Lt. Col. "Il faut agir rapidement pour réduire le nombre des débris spatiaux tournant autour de la Terre, qui risquent de polluer certaines orbites dans quelques décennies, ont estimé jeudi des experts internationaux à l'issue d'une réunion en Allemagne.
Morceaux de fusées, satellites en fin de vie, outils perdus par des astronautes... Ces objets sont les résidus des quelque 4.900 lancements effectués depuis le début de l'ère spatiale qui, sous l'effet de dislocations et collisions en chaîne, "le syndrome de Kessler", n'ont cessé de se multiplier.
Depuis 1978, "leur nombre a triplé" avec "un risque de collision démultiplié", avertit Heiner Klinkrad, directeur du département des débris spatiaux à l'Agence spatiale européenne (ESA), lors d'une retransmission par internet.
"Il suffirait de quelques décennies pour qu'un tel environnement devienne instable", a-t-il souligné durant la 6e Conférence européenne sur les débris spatiaux, qui s'est tenue durant quatre jours à Darmstadt (Allemagne).
Plus de 23.000 débris de plus de 10 cm sont actuellement recensés par la Nasa ou l'ESA, dont la majorité sur les orbites basses (en dessous de 2.000 km) utilisées par les satellites d'observation de la Terre ou la Station spatiale internationale (ISS).
Quant aux objets compris entre 1cm et 10 cm, ils se comptent par centaines de milliers. Des fragments de taille apparemment inoffensive mais qui, lancés à une vitesse moyenne de 25.000 km/h, peuvent sérieusement endommager un satellite, soulignent les spécialistes.
Chaque année en moyenne, l'ISS est contrainte de réaliser une "manoeuvre d'évitement" pour échapper à une collision potentielle. Et selon l'ESA, une dizaine d'objets s'approchent à moins de 2 km d'un satellite toutes les semaines.
Zone la plus touchée: les orbites polaires situées entre 800 km et 1.200 km d'altitude, véritables autoroutes pour de nombreux satellites d'observation.
Pince, harpon, filet ou voile?
Or, si les lancements se poursuivent au rythme actuel et que rien n'est fait pour limiter le nombre de débris, le risque de collision pourrait à terme être multiplié par 25, selon les projections des agences spatiales.
Pire, même si on arrêtait net les lancements aujourd'hui, le nombre de débris continuerait à augmenter par le seul jeu de "l'effet Kessler".
Pour traiter le problème, il est nécessaire d'une part de placer systématiquement les satellites désactivés sur des voies de garage, où ils ne gêneront pas et finiront par se désintégrer dans la haute atmosphère terrestre.
Mais il faut aussi débarrasser l'espace des plus gros débris, au rythme de 5 à 10 objets chaque année si on veut stabiliser la situation.
"Il y a un consensus fort sur la nécessité urgente d'agir dès à présent pour commencer à enlever ces débris", a assuré M. Klinkrad à l'issue de la conférence de Darmstadt, qui a rassemblé quelque 350 acteurs de l'industrie spatiale.
Pour ce faire, l'ESA et d'autres agences spatiales étudient déjà diverses solutions pour dévier la trajectoire des débris vers l'atmosphère: bras robot, pince géante, moteur fixé sur le débris, harpon ou filet de remorquage, voire un canon à ions bombardant l'objet pour infléchir sa course.
Certains envisagent même de doter le débris d'une voile solaire qui ferait office de parachute pour le freiner et le contraindre à perdre de l'altitude.
Mais dans le meilleur des cas, ces "missions de nettoyage" ne rentreront pas en service avant une dizaine d'années.
Tout ceci aura bien sûr un coût, mais un coût bien inférieur à celui des satellites potentiellement détruits par des débris (100 milliards de dollars environ), dont nos sociétés modernes sont extrêmement dépendantes (télévision, télécommunications, etc.).
Les débris spatiaux présentent de nombreuses similitudes avec les déchets à la surface de la Terre ou dans les océans. Les prévisions sont entachées de nombreuses incertitudes, ce qui sert souvent d'excuse à une réaction tardive", relève Heiner Klinkrad.
Mais si nous attendons trop longtemps, les coûts et les risques vont considérablement augmenter", insiste le responsable de l'ESA."

NASAs Kepler mission has discovered a 5-planet system that includes a hot Mars and four super-Earths, two of which might host liquid water. These arent quite the Earth-like exoplanets Keplers been looking for, but theyre close.

In a system 1,200 light-years away, five small planets whizz around an orange star about two-thirds the size of our Sun. One of them is a hot Mars, a planet half the size of Earth that whips around the star every 12.4 days. Another two are hot super-Earths, completing orbits every 5.7 days and 18.2 days. But the final two are the ones that capture the imagination: half again the size of Earth and orbiting in the stars habitable zone, these worlds could be the pale blue dots weve been looking for.
Eric Agol, a University of Washington associate professor of astronomy, has identified Kepler 62f, a small, probably rocky planet orbiting a sun like star in the Lyra constellation. The planet is about 1.4 times the size of Earth, receives about half as much heat and radiation, as Earth and circles its star in 267.3 (Earth) days. Its one of two super Earth planets discovered in the star Kepler 62′s habitable zone, that swath of space the right distance from the star to potentially allow liquid water to exist on a planets surface, thus giving life a chance. A super-Earth is a planet greater in mass than our own but still smaller than gas giants such as Neptune.
Kepler 62′s other super-Earth, nearby 62e, is 1.61 times Earths size, circles the star in 122.4 days and gets about 20 percent more stellar flux than the Earth. The two are the smallest exoplanets planets outside the solar system yet found in a host stars habitable zone.
Eric Agol says, The planets this small that we have found until now have been very close to their stars and much too hot to be possibly habitable.This is the first one Kepler has found in the habitable zone that satisfies this small size. Kepler 62f is the smallest size and the most promising distance from its star, which by these measures makes it the most similar exoplanet to Earth that has been found by Kepler. Agol said,
While the sizes of Kepler 62e and 62f are known, Agol said, their mass and densities are not but every planet found in their size range so far has been rocky, like Earth.
Jan Harzan the California assistant state director for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) recounts his attending a1993, Ben Rich Lecture of the former president of the Lockheed-Martin Skunkworks in Palmdale, California.
During the UCLA Alumni association lecture Ben Rich who is known as the "Father of Stealth," and is recognized as one of the worlds best aircraft engineers led development of the heralded F-117 stealth stated, Lockheed-Martin then had the technology to travel to the stars using an entirely new technology not dependent on rockets and chemical propellants. He stated that, It would not take years to travel to other planets,some UFOs, are theirs and that some of them are ours.
Ben showed slides and went through the history of the Skunkworks, the U2, and SR-71 and showed a black disk headed for space stating, "We now have the technology to take ET home". During a Q&A, he stated, It was now possible to travel to the stars. There was an error in the equations which was corrected. Back in the 1990s there was a little known, a military base near the town of Odintsovo in the Moscow region where the military and intelligence agencies have covered-up the investigation of the captured alien spacecraft. Odincovo let slip this data in a telephone conversation with me in the mid-to late 1990s. You and your colleagues have taken virtually no tangible and concrete actions or a detailed study and the final publication of this important data for the whole of Russia and the world of ufology.

With regard to the current Russian cover-up since the mid-1980s, an alien disk-UAV is in an underground bunker base at SRF-10-Odincovo that is now closed. This is the only extraterrestrial aircraft in storage and under study in the former Soviet Union and now Russia. Information about other alleged crashes is false. Im fully aware of the fact that after the publication of this information on the alien disk will likely cause it to be transported to a more distant place in the Urals. Concealment continues in secret from most of the leading Russian aerospace industry professionals who have the right to know about it!
They are hiding and exploring the unmanned extraterrestrial reconnaissance machine which was discovered and captured in Zagorsk region of Moscow, near the village of Nikulskoe and the arsenal at the landfill by engineering troops back in 1979, after falling into the gorge near power lines, for the "Blue" zone defense of Moscow.
Contrary to popular belief, this craft was NOT hit by a missile, and the disc did not shoot anybody, he fell himself as a result of a domestic accidents. The above is confirmed by numerous witnesses. In particular, corporal Krupin Viktor, who served with the MAS technician in the protection of Zhukovsky in the period 1981-1983. In 1982, I personally talked to the officer, who secretly photographed the rescue disk at the crash site on his personal camera. A cordon of soldiers stood near the 1263rd Engineering Corps arsenal Arsaki. KGB and Soviet Interior Ministry personnel cordoned off the crash site for a rescue disk. In the mid-1980s, after the full range of research and the weight of failed attempts to open the drive enclosure at the time of equipment in the USSR - the disc was hidden in a much more secure and isolated place. The alien disk was placed inside a new bunker underground room in 1986 or 1987 connected to the main building thru a tunnel in the southeastern part of the military base Odincovo of Vlasikha.
Scientists from different research institutions, including and from the NGO "Composite were brought to the bunker periodically mainly materials science.
The diameter of the disc is a small, 6-7 (max -8) meters, unmanned. Dome top and bottom - a small projection and 3 supports. Unfortunately the disc has not opened, and researchers do not have access to the interior and the equipment inside the drone has not been removed. Numerous methods were tried and extreme means were rejected in order to avoid the danger of destruction of the disc. Therefore, there has not been a special introduction of alien technology. The Americans with those things are better, because they have access to the inside of the two captured alien discs.

To sum up, I note the reality of the extraterrestrial civilizations with conclusive tangible evidence - not just at Area 12 in the Nevada nuclear test site in the United States, but some specialists now SIC RKT , TSNIIMV (now NPO "Composite"), some soldiers and members of the Strategic Missile Forces Base Odintsovo-10 (Vlasikha). Employees of the former KGB and current FSB, hiding and studying for many years captured alien disc.
The US has three alien discs with participation of corporations "Lockheed", "Monsanto", "North American", "Konv"yr", "Boeing Phantom Works" and many others. There are a series of ancient maps that have turned up at various places around the world such as in China and Turkey that suggest the Earth once held an advanced civilization or that we had been visited by extraterrestrials. Scholars have been able to dismiss most of the evidence has mere myth, but some evidence cannot be dismissed and should be examined with an open mind.
For example, The Piri Re Map dated from 1513 Turkey was only rediscovered in 1929, but its authenticity, has been established. The pre-modern world map compiled in 1513 from military intelligence by the Ottoman admiral and cartographer Piri Reis. It shows the coasts of Africa and South America as well as an essentially mountainous Antarctica without the layer of ice that now exists. We also know that Navy personnel who also make maps realized the map these ancient maps had to have been compiled by their kind of people dedicated people.
Navy experts believe the ancient maps were the result of aerial surveys. It's unlikely they had satellite style surveillance, but may have used something along the lines of operations conducted from prehistoric aircraft carriers! They also recognized ancient space travelers might have been responsible. Knowing the correct shape of Antarctica without an ice covering suggests time travel, or penetrating radar and aerial reconnaissance in the ancient past.
UKs Monuments to Space Ships
Throughout England there are archeological structures carved in the soil that have a similar cylinder shape to UFOs and size and are known as a cursus. They are called cursus because they thought they were race tracks. Cursus was a name given by early British archaeologists to the large parallel lengths of banks with external ditches which they thought were early Roman athletic courses, hence the Latin name cursus, meaning "course". Cursus monuments are now understood to be Neolithic structures and represent some of the oldest prehistoric monumental structures of the British Isles http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cursus - cite_note-0 some 3500 years old and built before the circular Stonehenge. Many are over a mile long and the distance between the dug parallel earthworks (shown here) can be up to 100 meters that consists of a bank with an external ditch. They are often aligned next to pre-existing long barrows or prehistoric earth mounds used to bury the dead.
The Cursus monuments are often built over rough terrain crossing streams or valleys. Cursuses became a subject of study when many of them were discovered through aerial photography, and curiosity was piqued as to what their purpose might be. Finds of arrowheads at the terminal ends suggest archery and hunting were important to the builders. It has been conjectured that Cursus were used in rituals connected with ancestor worship, and that they follow astronomical alignments.
It is my theory the Cursus were built over rough terrain as to mark the position of the huge alien Motherships like the one I chased while in the US Air Force. The Cursus may outline the crafts landing field. The cylinder shape and size match the monuments on the ground as well as the long burrows. Thousands of man hours of work were needed to build the outline to imitate the Motherships who often launch disc shaped craft. Stonehenge which was built later and hundreds of other stone and timber circles could imitate the discs.
