TV personality Ben Hansen witnessed a UFO flying above Huntington Beach, California on the night of Friday, May 3.

Hansen, known best for his role as host and lead investigator on the SyFy channels show Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files, was exercising with a friend at a local Huntington Beach high school. Hansen finished running around the schools track, and while he waited for his friend to finish her laps around the track, he looked up and noticed a triangular shaped object traveling at a very quick pace in the northwestern sky.
According to the UFO sighting report published on his website, Hansen describes the object as a defined craft in the shape of a near perfect equilateral triangle with large white spheres at each corner. As the object passed silently overhead, Hansen ruled out the possibility that the UFO was a flock of birds. And the object was unlikely a conventional plane because there were no position marker, navigation, strobe, landing, beacon, or other lights visible. Hansen also ruled out the possibility that it was something like three weather balloons attached to a frame because, by his calculations, the craft was traveling somewhere between 500-800 mph.
When his friend finally joined him, Hansen learned that she too saw the UFO. Before discussing the sighting, Hansen told her to write down what she saw first to avoid contaminating each others memories. She only saw the object for a few seconds before it disappeared from view, and her perspective was different from Hansens. And therefore, her description varies slightly from Hansens. She describes:

It was in the formation of a triangle, but it seemed to have several objects that were forming that triangle. It wasnt very high, definitely not a plane, it was not illuminated. Initially I thought it might be a flock of birds, but it was a triangle shape not a V shape and the objects were much bigger than birds and it would have taken several birds to make the triangle as big as it was. It was almost as if they looked like Styrofoam Dixie cups clustered inside the triangle.
The differences in the witnesses descriptions is illustrated in a drawing included with the sighting report.
Shortly after this sighting, the witnesses saw two more UFOs returning along the same path as the first UFO. Although these objects were silent like the first UFO, these craft were different in appearance. Hansen describes that, lacking a better way to describe them, they appeared to . . . have the shape of fighter jets, but they were completely white in color and flying in such tight formation that they were almost touching each other. Also like the first UFO, no lights were visible on these craft.
In addition to posting his sighting report on his website, Hansen also submitted the report to the National UFO Reporting Center and the Mutual UFO Network. This former FBI agent is a trained investigator, and it shows in his report, which is considerably more thorough than most UFO sighting reports.
As I told a friend, when he asked me to assess the Citizen Hearing before it happened, "Nothing is black or white. Some good will come from it, however, I suspect that the negatives will outweigh the positives and I am concerned that the ex-USAF missileers who've decided to participate will end up being unfairly associated with the less-than-credible witnesses."
Well, given that former U.S. Senator Mike Gravel took the Air Force veterans seriously and went so far as to say that their statements were the "smoking gun" that confirmed that there was/is a government cover-up on UFOs, I would say that I was correct about the good part.
Also, serious researchers were in evidence, including Peter Davenport and Kevin Randle, to name two. And credible whistleblowers, such as retired FAA administrator John Callahan.
But as I watched the hearings, all five days, it became clear that I was also correct about the bad part. Bassett has never vetted his witnesses, refuses to do so, probably doesn't even know how, and it frequently showed. So, it's not surprising that there was more than a little BS, wishful thinking, and unwitting participation in hoaxes and disinformation ops. Welcome to the Wonderful World of Ufology.
However, given how rare it is for a high-level government type to say something affirming about UFOs and the cover-up of same--even though Sen. Gravel left Washington in 1981--I decided to issue the following press release:
It has already received some useful attention. The debunkers will say that I am posting it just to sell books. That's what they always fall back on, since the information I have collected over the years from military veterans is credible and documented.
Off the cuff and beginning with the first sentence, labeling Mr. Shrivers penscript a book, I find a little amusing since Mr. Shriver spends a great deal of time nit picking various minutiae in the Ramsey book, et al. Unless somethings changed, Mr. Shrivers critique is 17 pages long and a more accurate description would be a pamphlet, booklet, paper or long article.
Conversely, Ramseys book is 233 pages, Scullys (the original) is 242 pages and Steinmans is 625 pages long.
As Ive written before, I can appreciate the specifics that Mr. Shriver has offered, citing page and verse with the various tomes hes chosen to censure (its refreshing); however, melding his criticism together in one treatise, for all 3isnt prudent in my view.
Since Mr. Shrivers main thesis for his fault finding, is minute details allow me to point out that Stanton Friedman doesnt possess a doctorate and is always the first person to point this out. Mr. Shriver refers to Stan as Dr. 3 times in his paper.
Beyond the claimed geographical errors, it would seem that the primary counter argument to the evidence presented in the 3 books, and to simplify things, Ill just focus on the Ramsey book, was that if the UFO event actually happened he would have known about it. In support of this dogma Mr. Shriver stated that he queried his former classmates (class of 51 & 52) about an alleged UFO crash [in 1948]; since Mr. Shriver is a glutton for details, and playing by his rulesits important to note that the term or acronym i.e., UFO was borne by the Air Force in 1952, and didnt become popular re the public lexicon until many years after that. In short, its a given that no one in Aztec or anywhere else had heard of a UFO in 1948.
I know readers are thinking that Im splitting hairs, but Mr. Shriver, condemned Scott Ramsey for calling Mt Taylor, The Taylor Mountains, he laid the ground rules, so whats good for the goose . . ..
Finally, if the geographical errors that Mr. Shriver cites are proven to be accurate, e.g., if Scott (himself, opposed to quoting someone), got the name of a bridge or a street wrong, Im sure every attempt will be made to correct any errors in the next printing. Ive also advised Scott to insert a thank you to Mr. Shriver for his efforts.
When Mr. Shriver finally got around to the main event, i.e., a UFO coming down on Hart Canyon rd in the Spring of 48, although I was pleased that he deviated from the tired old Cahnian edict of over 60 years (ala JP Cahn) as a counter argument to the Aztec Incident, I have to say I was amused that the core of his rebuttal (beyond Geography) was/is argumentum ad ignorantiam, e.g., idea that if it really happened he would have heard about it. These Arguments from ignorance are often a go-to defense for the status quo.
Curiously, Mr. Shriver wrote:
The first time I recall hearing of the UFO crash in Hart Canyon was when I learned that the Aztec City Library was holding an annual symposium about the UFO crash. During the 2000s . . ..
The Annual Aztec Symposium was borne in 1998, and was an economic boon for the City of Aztec in general and used as a fundraiser for the new library as Shriver notes in his piece. Not only was the event (s) heavily advertised, so were its many prestigious speakers; yet by Mr. Shrivers own admission he never knew about it until the 2000s (he didnt specify the year).
In the same vein, Frank Scullys book was a New York Times best Seller in 1950; it was the first to name Aztec as the local for a (then) Flying Saucer coming down in the area. It was printed in multiple languages in countries around the world, and it precipitated many an (national) article in its wake, given the gravity of the claims. Yet Mr. Shriver didnt hear about that either.
One of the events that Scully wrote about, was the lecture given by Scientist X re the Aztec Incident, which took place in March of 1950 at The University of Denver. Again, this was national headline news and again, Shriver was ignorant to the event.
One of the biggest events in UFO history, was The Farmington Armada, which took place in 1950 and topped the front page of The Farming Daily Times and in huge caps read, HUGE SAUCER ARMADA JOLTS FARMINGTON; here again Shriver knew nothing about it (and according to him, neither did his class-mates).
In November of 1947 a Mysterious Flaming Object came down in the Four Corners area and more then one search team made up of scientists including the renowned Dr Lincoln La Paz was in the area for days; this again was widely publicized and yet again, Monte Shriver draws a blank.
Based on Monte Shrivers ideology, i.e., if it happened I would have known about it, and since he was ignorant to the a fore mentioned events (to name a few)would he have us believe that they didnt occur either?

AZTEC Nothing otherworldly happened in Hart Canyon, says Aztec native Monte Shriver.
Shriver will present his findings on the "other Roswell" at a meeting of the San Juan County Historical Society at the Bloomfield Multicultural Center on Wednesday.
He admits there is likely something out there, but is convinced it didn't crash land in Aztec - on March 25, 1948, or any other date.
The incident has been long debated, but Shriver hopes to finally dispel the stories of a 100-foot-long alien craft containing human-like bodies slumped over a control panel that was swiftly carted away to an undisclosed location by the military.
Last fall, he self-published "It's About Time," a book that questions the research of three books dedicated to the storied UFO crash event - Frank Scully's 1950 book "Behind the Flying Saucers," William Steinman and Wendelle Stevens' 1986 book "UFO Crash at Aztec: A Well Kept Secret" and Scott and Suzanne Ramsey's 2012 book "The Aztec Incident: Recovery at Hart Canyon."
All three lack verifiable evidence to be much more than fantasy, Shriver said.
"When I was nine, I camped out with the Boy Scouts right where the alien crash was supposed to have happened, in 1948 and '49, and nobody ever breathed a word about a UFO," Shriver said. "If they had, we would have certainly heard about it."

"My first reaction was one of amazement, since I had grown up, graduated from Aztec High School and never heard anything about a UFO landing in Hart Canyon," Shriver said. "Intrigued, I went online and bought all three books and began to look into their claims."
With the support of his wife of 53 years, Shriver, a former college professor and accountant, stepped out of full retirement to begin his research.
He spent the better part of a year in the special collections department of New Mexico State University, Las Cruces, where he and his wife retired nine years ago.
"All three books say everyone at the site was sworn to secrecy by the military about the crash, then why did some speak?" Shriver said. "But, overall, much of the evidence and documentation presented in them is unexplained or not relevant to Aztec."
But Scott and Suzanne Ramsey hold firm to their findings, citing consistencies about eyewitness accounts culled from over 27 years' research.
"When you have multiple people citing the same specific details like the number of portholes - six - and the color - brushed-silver - of the disc, you begin to see consistencies that are telling," Ramsey said. "We (he and his wife) have followed many leads at great expense through the years and only go with what we can verify."
Possible leads that might shed even further light on the UFO crash and military cover-up - two people in Aztec and one in Durango - are currently being vetted by the couple, who currently live in South Carolina, Scott Ramsey said.
"Remember that ad, 'Where's the beef?'" Shriver joked. "I mean, really, where's the disc?"
Copies of Shriver's book will be for sale by the San Juan County Historical Society at the meeting Wednesday. All proceeds will go directly to the society.
Ufologist Stanton Friedman to give lecture at MVCC Tuesday
UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The original civilian investigator of the crash in Roswell, New Mexico is in town to give a lecture at MVCC on Tuesday. Stanton Friedman is a believer that we are not alone in the galaxy.
"We used to think the government only told us the truth," said Stanton Friedman. "But now we know that isn't the truth. I hate to say it but it's true."
While working as a nuclear physicist, a book about unidentified flying objects peaked Friedman's interest more than five decades ago. So, Friedman started reading more and the more he read he says the more evidence he discovered.
"The evidence is overwhelming that Planet Earth is being visited by intelligent controlled extraterrestrial spacecrafts. In other words, SOME (underlined 33 times), some UFO's are alien spacecraft, most are not."
His lecture Tuesday night is all about Roswell. "Since I'm the original investigator, I start at the beginning," said Friedman. "How did I find out about it, and I'll go into what happened and what supporting evidence we've had and where it fits in the larger scheme of things. I bring a peculiar background to this, not only having worked under security, but I worked on fusion propulsion systems for deep space travel. The people that say you can't get here from there. It's like saying you can't get from here to California in three days on a bike. Who cares? You can fly there in one day."
So we had to ask, has he ever seen a UFO. "No," said Friedman. "But I chased neutrons and gamma rays for 14 years. Never saw a one. They're real too."
Friedman will sign books before and after the lecture Tuesday. It starts at 7p.m. inside Schafer Theater at MVCC in Utica. General admission is $10. MVCC Students are free.
I wanted to post a review of the new Sirius film because of the long build up to its release and the apparent level of attention it has garnered on the internet. It seems to have a substantial and fairly well-organised marketing campaign behind it such as ads embedded on websites (e.g. http://www.openminds.tv/ as of 28th Apr 2013).
Before discussing the Sirius films content, I would just like to note what adverts/postings for the film typically show online. Various embedded panels will show Watch Sirius instantly for $9.99; Available for a 72-hour rental period; Buy the DVD for only $19.99. One puzzle to me is that it is said that the film has been crowd-funded, yet it is now being sold so do the crowd funders get a share of the returns? Maybe not I dont know how these things are set up. Now, of course films with production values like Sirius are expensive to make if you choose to make them in the way that Sirius is made. Perhaps I am biased because I try to give away all the material I compile either for free or at close-to-cost price. Nevertheless, because of the glitzy-packaging of information in todays CGI-loaded visual media, I can appreciate a requirement for more attention grabbing production. One could argue for lengthy periods about the relative merits of giving away things for free and/or making things cheaply or giving them a professional, contemporary feel and look. Higher production quality can attract higher numbers of viewers or hold viewers attention for longer, perhaps. Or, if viewers are truly interested in the information, does a more basic and less expensive presentation suffice?
The Beginning of the Film
The setting at the very beginning of the film, a lecture by Steven Greer and people are entering the building and being body-scanned by a security person of some kind. Soon after this is shown, the narrator (Thomas Jane) says Most people dont know what a dead-mans trigger is well, googling this phrase reveals some odd definitions most relating to TV or movies, it seems. However, it seems to be a peculiar way of starting this film. In the first 7 minutes of the film, Ted Loder and Laurance Rockefeller are mentioned. It is not mentioned (not that it necessarily should be) that Loder is Greers cousin, but no real evidence of any kind at all is discussed and it becomes clear that the style of the film is one of docu-drama or something similar to that. The film runs for about 1 hour and 50 minutes (but there are an additional 6 minutes of credits at the end, listing those who helped fund the film).
Another analysis of some of the photos by Paolo V suggests Ata it is indeed a foetus and not a 6-year old child. Paolo V and suggests the lower 2 ribs have not developed and so there are only 10 in total. He points out the lack of developing/developed teeth (which would be seen, in some form, in a 6-year old child).
I have to point out that the Starchild skull and much other evidence outside the Greerosphere is not mentioned in any way, shape or form in the Sirius film.
The events of 9/11 are covered very briefly, and a, somewhat generalised, statement is made that it is hard to concretely prove 9/11 was a false flag attack. This is followed by short coverage of Kennedys Secrecy speech, Cynthia McKinneys question to Donald Rumsfeld on 10Sep 2001 about the missing trillions and there is mention of SAPS, USAPS and Black Projects. Of course, no kind of link between 9/11 and Black Projects is implied or openly stated the only possible clue that is given is that these things are covered one after the other in the film No mention is made of the direct, established connection between the free energy issue, cold fusion and 9/11, as shown in the research of Dr Judy Wood in her book Where Did the Towers Go?.
Consciousness and Contact
One of the other topics mentioned is the all important one of Consciousness and the analogy of how our consciousness seems to be something like a TV set which we can tune to allow us to decode certain signals or frequencies. This is not covered in depth (as with most topics in the film). Also, several segments of Greers CSETI retreats to different locations are intermingled with other footage. (Some footage has selected faces of people pixelated out). It is mentioned that Greer has been involved with training people to contact ETs using methods such as Coherent Thought Sequencing and Remote Viewing. I became quite interested in these aspects a few years ago, but did not explore them in depth, nor did I go on one of Greers retreats.
Further Additional Notes and Topics Covered
There is the necessary inclusion of Eisenhowers warning about the Military Industrial Complex from his 1961 leaving address. And then there is mention 24 countries opening their UFO files to scrutiny (although the nature of what has been revealed is not really discussed and most of the documents released simply discuss sightings by military and other personnel)
Conclusion
Having viewed the film, I would contend that in terms of the actual evidence discussed, there is little which is new in this film indeed, apart from the humanoid, I would describe the film as a kind of video blog about Dr Greer, punctuated with segments from the Disclosure Project witness testimonies recorded over 10 years ago. The Ata evidence is inconclusive, though Dr Greer does not seem keen to admit this nor does he acknowledge more solid, tested evidence that is readily available.
As mentioned above, there are huge holes in the film such as the absence of any discussion or even a mention of the evidence which proves the links between topics in the film and how the WTC was destroyed.
Also absent in the discussion of contact is what is being communicated and who or what is on the other side of that communication. Perhaps I am being unfair it is implied that feelings of peace, love and good will are to be communicated which is all very good and fine, though I suppose I am the sort of person looking for more specific concepts or information to be communicated in some ways. And if more specific information cannot be communicated, why isnt it said that There's a starman waiting in the sky
Hed like to come and meet us - But he thinks he'd blow our minds?
And, a key question is why is this film called Sirius? No explanation (that I could detect) is made in the film? Is it some encoded reference to the fascinating history of the Dogon Tribe? Sirius is not a place I have previously seen associated with any of Greers postings or published research.
So, overall, Sirius is like a Greer-centric version of Foster Gambles Thrive documentary (which I also made a short posting about) with less information in it and more of a UFO/ET slant. In both films, the most important information and links (re 9/11) are firmly omitted.
Overall, the film may serve a purpose in arousing the interest of certain types of people in the topics that are covered in the film. Beyond that, people will need to look elsewhere for much of the necessary detail and also, more critically, for the information which is left out. I think if they were going to spend money on an online rental of the film, it would be a waste as you can watch much better documentaries such as Out of the Blue for free, or get new or second-hand DVDs from places like Amazon.
What is more worrying to me is that Greer is yet again asking people to contribute money to his Sirius initiative, as he did with Seaspower, Aero2012 and the Orion Project, yet he has apparently no new information and no new plan. (When this question was asked of Greer in an interview with him at the time of the Citizens Disclosure Hearings, he became somewhat uncomfortable talking about it claiming that peoples lives had been threatened in the Orion Project. So how will the same thing not happen in this latest initiative and what did the $3 million Orion Project achieve?)
I hope that this article has served to supply some thoughts and information which are not generally available and it will encourage readers to think and research carefully and also to think carefully so that we can achieve the sorts of things that are talked about in films like Sirius and Thrive. It has become clear to me that unless the figures featured in these films (and the researchers and producers who make them) fully acknowledge the obstacles in our way as I have written about elsewhere on this website then significant and rapid positive change is far less likely because the same mistakes will be repeated endlessly, as they seem to have been in Steven Greers case since at least 2001.
Video testimony by an anonymous alleged former CIA official was shown at the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure at the National Press Club in Washington, DC on Friday, May 3.
UFO author and historian Richard Dolan interviewed Anonymous on March 5, 2013. Facing impending kidney failure, this individual felt compelled to disclose secret information he feels is too important to keep secret. In the video, he claims to have served in the U.S. Army, worked for the CIA, and worked on the U.S. Air Forces Project Blue Bookone of the USAFs official studies of UFOs. And he refers to the project as partially a fraud. Asking for clarification, Dolan states, Youre saying some of the Blue Book cases were completely fictitious? The anonymous man responds, Yes.

Anonymous alleges that, after an invasion threat from President Dwight Eisenhower, he and his superior at the CIA were allowed inside the secretive Area 51 in Nevada to gather intel and report back to the president. There, Anonymous describes seeing several alien spacecraft, including the craft that crashed in Roswell, New Mexico. Then, he and his superior were taken to the S-4 facility southwest of Area 51 where they observed live extraterrestrials.
Author and UFO researcher Peter Robbins, who served as a witness at the Citizen Hearing, saw the video testimony as it was presented. He posted his reaction on his Facebook account: In my opinion, if it can be confirmed by any relevant supporting documentation, this moving and fascinating account does qualify as an authentic death bed testimony from an individual who convincingly claims to have been a CIA officer deeply involved in the matter or crashed and/or recovered craft, and at one time a liaison between the Agency and the President (Truman).
This testimony will be included in an upcoming documentary titled Truth Embargo.
Alien? Subhuman primate? Deformed child? Mummified fetus? The Internet is buzzing over the nature of "Ata," a bizarre 6-inch-long skeleton featured in a new documentary on UFOs. A Stanford University scientist who boldly entered the fray has now put to rest doubts about what species Ata belongs to. But the mystery is not over.
The story began 10 years ago, when the diminutive remains were reportedly found in a pouch in a ghost town in the Atacama Desert of Chile. Ata ended up in a private collection in Barcelona; producers of the film Sirius latched onto the bizarre mummy as evidence of alien life.
Last fall, immunologist Garry Nolan, director of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute's Proteomics Center for Systems Immunology at Stanford in California, heard about Ata from a friend and contacted the filmmakers, offering to give them a scientific readout on the specimen. They asked him to give it a shot.
Among the apparent abnormalities, Ata sports 10 ribs instead of the usual 12 and a severely misshapen skull. "I asked our neonatal care unit how you would go about analyzing it. Had they seen this kind of syndrome before?" Nolan says. He was directed to pediatric radiologist Ralph Lachman, co-director of the International Skeletal Dysplasia Registry at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. "He literally wrote the book on pediatric bone disorders," Nolan says. Lachman was blown away, Nolan recalls: "He said, 'Wow, this is like nothing I've ever seen before.' "
To study the specimen, Nolan sought clues in Ata's genome. He initially presumed the specimen was tens or hundreds of thousands of years oldthe Atacama Desert may be the driest spot on the planet, so Ata could have been preserved for eons. He consulted experts who had extracted DNA from bones of the Denisovans, an Asian relative of European Stone Age Neandertals. It turned out that their protocols weren't necessary. "The DNA was modern, abundant, and high quality," he says, indicating that the specimen is probably a few decades old.
To the chagrin of UFO hunters, Ata is decidedly of this world. After mapping more than 500 million reads to a reference human genome, equating to 17.7-fold coverage of the genome, Nolan concluded that Ata "is human, there's no doubt about it." Moreover, the specimen's B2 haplotypea category of mitochondrial DNAreveals that its mother was from the west coast of South America: Chile, that is.
Meanwhile, after examining x-rays, Lachman concluded that Aka's skeletal development, based on the density of the epiphyseal plates of the knees (growth plates at the end of long bones found only in children), surprisingly appears to be equivalent to that of a 6- to 8-year-old child. If that holds up, there are two possibilities, Nolan says. One, a long shot, is that Ata had a severe form of dwarfism, was actually born as a tiny human, and lived until that calendar age. To test that hypothesis, he will try to extract hemoglobin from the specimen's bone marrow and compare the relative amounts of fetal versus adult hemoglobin proteins. The second possibility is that Ata, the size of a 22-week-old fetus, suffered from a severe form of a rare rapid aging disease, progeria, and died in the womb or after premature birth.
Nolan hasn't yet turned up hits for genes known to be associated with progeria or dwarfism. He's stepping up the search for mutations through additional sequencing and casting a wider net. Another possibility is a teratogen: a birth defect-inducing toxicant along the lines of thalidomide. Nolan plans to analyze tissue using mass spectrometry to look for toxicants or metabolites. But reports of a handful of other Tom Thumb-sized skeletons from Russia and elsewhere have Nolan leaning toward a genetic explanation.
At least one expert has a more prosaic takebut agrees that the specimen is human. "This looks to me like a badly desiccated and mummified human fetus or premature stillbirth," says William Jungers, a paleoanthropologist and anatomist at Stony Brook University Medical Center in New York. He notes that "barely ossified and immature elements" of the hands and feet, and the wide open metopic suture, where the two frontal bones of the skull come together down the middle of the forehead. "Genetic anomalies are not evident, probably because there aren't any," he says. Nolan responds that the rib number and epiphyseal plate densities remain a riddle; while he is open to the fetus hypothesis, he thinks that the jury is still out.
Nolan's analysis went viral this week; besieged as he has been by the media circus, he doesn't regret having gotten involved in debunking a claim of alien life. "I'm thrilled with the outcome," he says. Once the analyses are complete, he says, he'll submit his findings for peer review. The other claim Nolan debunks is that Ata is an elaborate hoax. The x-rays clearly show these are real bones, complete with arterial shadows, he says. "You just couldn't fake it," he says, adding, with a laugh, "unless you were an alien."

In UFO circles, much fuss has been made about a recent response by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) to two petitions on extraterrestrial/human communications, posted on a government website. Phil Larson, who was tasked to respond, has been accused of everything from lying, to cover-ups, to gross incompetence. But the real problem lies with the inappropriate and fundamentally flawed content of the petitions themselves -- not with the government reply to them. The critics seem to have lost sight of what the petitions actually said and did not say, while insulting and lashing out at Larson.
One petition asks the Obama administration to "immediately disclose the government's knowledge of and communications with extraterrestrial beings" and the other to "formally acknowledge an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race." The former asks for congressional hearings about "this subject" (communications with ET) while the latter requests the release of documents about "this phenomenon" (an extraterrestrial presence). Thousands of people signed on to the assumptions that extraterrestrial beings have been secretly talking to our government or somehow are involved with the whole human race. Try thinking about these bizarre and murky statements from the perspective of a scientifically-oriented government official. How is he to make sense of such absurd requests?
Neither petition had anything to do with the subject of UFOs, as properly defined; no request for data on UFOs was included. And, chances are, Larson knows very little, if anything, about the evidence for UFOs. Like most government scientists, he likely dismissed the subject long ago as baseless and therefore irrelevant to space policy, and has never looked into it. Consequently, it's entirely logical that Larson would not make the leap from the question of extraterrestrial communications to the issue of physical unidentified flying objects. Did the petitioners not expect that their requests would be taken at face value?
Without asking for acknowledgment of evidence for UFOs, you can't slam Larson for not providing it. He addressed the petitioners' concerns with an update on the current status of the scientific search for extraterrestrial life: "The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race. In addition there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public's eye." The "any evidence" here refers specifically to evidence of ET interacting with humans, not to evidence for UFOs. Within the realm of science and logic, his statement happens to be true. Unfortunately, the badly worded petitions asked for the wrong thing -- something obviously impossible for the White House to deliver. And, sadly for all of us, the subsequent attacks on Larson's statement (called "a travesty against the public" by one leading UFO researcher) will not serve to motivate officials to help our cause.
It's important to realize that these two petitions received attention only because they acquired the requisite 5,000 signatures (now the minimum is 25,000) along with hundreds of others. Larson's response does not represent some kind of formal government statement on the UFO issue -- far from it. Larson simply provided an obligatory scientific response to citizens seeking an announcement of contact with extraterrestrials. The significance of his statement should not be blown out of proportion or spun as something that it is not.
I would like to share some comments from government insiders whom I asked to read the petition about an "extraterrestrial presence," since this one garnered the most signatures. Ed Rothschild, principal with the Podesta Group, a leading government relations and public relations firm in Washington, is "a seasoned veteran at strategic communications" with "dynamic experience in both Congress and the public interest community," according to the firm's website. Ed has provided assistance to my group, the Coalition for Freedom of Information, in the past, and is an expert at positioning the UFO issue in Washington. His response to the petition is as follows:
Those who claim that extraterrestrials are here are simply propagating nonsense -- a non-scientific belief that defies credibility. This is counter-productive and undermines efforts to get serious government attention for the issue of the existence of life beyond our solar system. I can't imagine this silly statement would go anywhere except into government office waste baskets. The only way to approach the issue of unexplained aerial phenomena in Washington and expect results is to present the facts and seek a legitimate inquiry into the small percentage of well-documented cases worthy of serious investigation. The approach represented by this petition has been shown many times before to be a failure. Further, those propagating this nonsense choose to make outrageous claims simply to get media attention, rather than focusing on the hard work that science requires.
Nick Pope, who worked for the UK's Ministry of Defense for 21 years and was in charge of the government UFO project in the 1990s, also has serious concerns:
Any statement that implies the government is lying is going to be counter-productive. When someone accuses you of being part of a cover-up, you can't and don't engage with them. I got this sort of thing all the time at the Ministry of Defense, and no meaningful dialogue was possible with such people. I simply gave them a polite brush-off, and I understand exactly why this is necessary within government. To get results, a constructive request should stress the reasons why the phenomenon is worthy of official investigation.
And what about members of Congress? The best I could do is approach a high level Hill staffer with knowledge of this issue, who wishes to remain anonymous. He works for a member from a relevant committee. "As is often said, politics is the art of the possible. Overly broad statements and fantastical claims of cover ups serve only to poison the well for anyone interested in advancing any subsequent suggestion for research or review of policies. Enthusiasm and conviction is no substitute for reason and evidence."
Scientists are a difficult bunch to convince. Yet theoretical physicist Michio Kaku acknowledged on national television that the strongest UFO cases cannot be explained and appear to defy the laws of physics. But when asked if this confirms that there is extraterrestrial life, Kaku replied "No, we don't have that smoking gun" yet. Astronomer Derrick Pitts was swayed by the same evidence, accepting it because it did not involve "fantastic claims of alien visitation."
Clearly, we can't make the leap from the existence of unknown airborne objects, for which we have proof, to claims of extraterrestrial communications, which can't be proven, if we want to appeal to scientists. Neal Lane, Rice University professor of Physics and Astronomy, was the director of the OSTP under President Clinton. "Implausible explanations for UFOs such as this one, made by enthusiasts and conspiracy theorists, are not effective in approaching government," he explained after reading the petition. "A strong case has already been made for a new U.S. role in cooperative investigations of UFO phenomena, involving U.S. cooperation with other countries in investigating the credible reports and making the results public." That "strong case" is the one I am proposing as an alternative rallying point, because it is steadily gaining the support of many key players who know how government works.
Despite our own personal beliefs about alien spaceships, extraterrestrials, or government cover-ups, we have to adopt a strategy that will work. Our assumptions and conclusions are completely irrelevant -- and can be harmful -- to this process. It is crucial to realize that the vast majority of U.S. officials are both uninformed about and uninterested in UFOs. And if they are open, they are so afraid of ridicule that they have limited capacity to act. We have to educate them by presenting refined, concise, and well-documented official data on the UFO phenomenon. Timing is important, too; unfortunately, an election year is not the time to attempt this.
An effective strategy involves establishing the fact that a UFO, by definition, is simply something unidentified (the acronym does not mean "alien spacecraft"); it helps to use the acronym UAP (unidentified aerial phenomena) whenever possible. The agnostic position, the scientifically sound one, acknowledges the accumulated evidence of an extraordinary, physical phenomenon but recognizes that we don't yet know what it is. Secondly, we need to provide a reason that government should care about UAP, such as pointing out that we could be vulnerable to exotic foreign spy planes or drones if we ignore reports; that these objects raise significant air safety issues; that we're losing potentially valuable scientific data about the nature of this recurring phenomenon. Thirdly, we have to invite government to engage in an investigation because we need its expertise, making its participation sound necessary and beneficial, rather than being accusatory.
Specifically, we need a small government office to serve as a U.S. focal point in the investigation of carefully selected cases, in cooperation with the international community. A staffer would have immediate access to all pertinent data and witnesses when investigating a UFO incident, working in conjunction with a qualified civilian oversight board. This proposal has received the support of generals, former and current government and military officials, scientists, and many other VIPs from around the world.
John Podesta, President Clinton's former chief of staff who served as co-chair of Obama's transition team, has been one of the more public proponents of what he calls "a new way forward." Labeling himself a "curious skeptic," he wrote in 2010 that "It is definitely time for government, scientists, and aviation experts to work together in unraveling the questions about UFOs that have so far remained in the dark." He says that the plan for a small U.S. government agency is "an idea worth considering."
Former Arizona Governor Fife Symington witnessed a spectacular UFO event while in office, but felt he had to keep that secret until ten years later. He knows from experience that change in government policy is desperately needed, and in response, he has publicly urged establishing this office, as have those in charge of government agencies investigating UAP in other countries.
I have gathered a powerful coalition of high level government, military and scientific experts who support a rational, scientific approach to the UFO problem, as outlined here. We are all fortunate that such respectable figures have offered advice on how to frame this sensitive issue and work effectively with our government. Doesn't it make sense to take our cues from them? I invite all of those who are serious about UFOs to align themselves with this well-tested, productive approach. Once we have even the smallest change in the official position -- such as acknowledgement that UAP are worthy of investigation -- the door is opened. After that, anything will be possible.

Even as most Americans wonder what planet politicians are from, is it possible that the government is squelching evidence of extraterrestrials visiting Earth? One former presidential hopeful says yes and that the conspiracy goes all the way to the top.
Former Sen. Mike Gravel (D-Alaska) says the White House has helped keep the truth about the extraterrestrial influence that is investigating our planet from the public.
It goes right to the White House, and of course, once the White House takes a position, well there's nothing going on...it just goes down the chain of command, everyone stands toe, Gravel tells Top Line.
Gravel is one of six former congress representatives who were paid $20,000 by the UFO advocacy group Paradigm Research to participate in a Congressional-style Citizen Hearing on Disclosure in Washington this week, where witness after witness has presented first-hand accounts of UFO sightings and extraterrestrial visits.
Gravel says the strongest accounts of alien encounters are from former military officers, such as retired Air Force Capt. Robert Salas, who testified that UFOs temporarily disabled nuclear weapons on his watch.
The smoking gun of the whole issue, which is when they saw hovering space craft in Wyoming and South Dakota over the ICBM missile silos that the missiles couldn't work, Gravel says.
Gravel says the media has aided what he sees as a government cover-up by not taking reports of ET encounters seriously.
What we're faced with here is, in areas of the media, and the government too, an effort to marginalize and ridicule people who have specific knowledge, he says.
When asked about the fact that he was compensated for his participation in the hearing, Gravel says it did not influence him to agree with the testimony.
This is an opportunity which I've taken to focus on this issue for an entire week and the preparation I made in coming to it, for my enrichment that's very important, Gravel says.

HIROSHIMA. Le 30 juin 1908, une formidable déflagration au-dessus de la Sibérie Centrale balaya 2000 km² de forêt, abattant des millions darbres. La catastrophe ne fit heureusement quune victime, puisquelle se produisit dans une zone quasi-désertique. Lexplosion a été enregistrée sur des sismographes : ils ont évalué sa magnitude autour de 5 sur léchelle de Richter et sa puissance a été estimée à 1000 fois celle de la bombe qui détruisit Hiroshima.
Quelle est lorigine de cette explosion ? Mystère. Selon la communauté scientifique, lhypothèse la plus probable est quelle résulte de lexplosion dun astéroïde ou dune comète au-dessus du sol. Les quelques rares expéditions menées sur zone nont en effet pas retrouvé de cratère dimpact ni (ce qui est plus étonnant) de débris.
Du coup, il ny a aucune preuve en faveur de cette explication. De quoi éveiller bien des imaginations ! Des dizaines dhypothèses ont été émises pour expliquer lévènement de Toungouska... Et il y en a pour tous les goûts : crash d'OVNI, micro-trou noir, collision avec un objet fait dantimatière !
Un siècle après, la solution de lénigme est peut-être enfin accessible. Dans un article publié sur le site arXiv.org, Andrei Zlobin de l'Académie des sciences de Russie annonce qu'il a identifié trois roches présentant des traces de fusion dans une collection dune centaine de pierres ramenées de Toungouska lors dune expédition quil a conduit en 1988.
Pour une raison inexpliquée, Andrei Zlobin a attendu 20 ans pour examiner son butin en détail et cinq ans de plus pour publier ces premiers résultats. Mais en 2008, il a analysé sa collecte et a trouvé ces trois pierres qui représentent selon lui des fragments de lobjet qui a explosé en 1908.
NATURE. Le chercheur na pas encore procédé à lanalyse chimique des pierres, aussi il nest pas encore possible de savoir si elles sont des débris dun astéroïde ou dune comète dont le noyau contenait des fragments de roches. Le monde devra attendre encore un peu pour se faire une meilleure idée de la nature de lobjet de Toungouska.

My daughter Victoria passed away on April 27, 2013; she was a very special woman and will be missed by everyone. She died when her heart stopped during a three week stay in the hospital. Victoria loved her animals. She had her own horses, her cat Tiapan, fed the birds, and tried to protect the environment. She finished high school in three years and was Miss Philadelphia in the Miss World Beauty Contest.
She graduated from La Salle University and became a Respiratory Therapist. Later she became a Chiropractor, with a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree.
She had a glow about her whenever she walked into a room and was a strong Christian. She was in a terrible auto accident fifteen years ago and unable to practice and lived with us since then. Every night we hugged goodnight.
I looked up just now to see a blue heron fly by slowly with its huge wings spread. It was a beautiful sight and Vickys favorite and perhaps it sent a message. The thought came to me, God looked around his garden and needed a wonderful, gentle person in pain and flew her on wings to heaven to be with her sister Elizabeth who died March 8. Victoria has left a legacy of her wonderful daughter Anastasia who is attending Johnson and Wales University in North Carolina.

Lights All Over the World
A thousand UFOs are reported each month and are usually seen with lights or as bright orbs. They often appear to be signaling their presence. I have been told by high ranking personnel that UFOs definitely have a religious aspect involved in their presence. Most are friendly but some have their own agenda. The Ten Commandments has instructions for mankind to abide by rules or laws that mankind should use when they travel in space such as do not kill and steal.
The Bible frequently mentions lights.
You are the light of the world. Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. Mathew. 5:14-16: The Bible promises life after death. Are these ships here to pick up human souls as they die? Peoples bodies are known to lose less than an ounce at death.
Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote, "The soul comes from without into the human body, as into a temporary abode, and it goes out of it anew ... it passes into other habitations, for the soul is immortal."
Angels in Starships
There are thousands of books about angels and first hand contacts with humans. The book Angels is Starships tells of Angels or aliens in Italy. The book states, And now the facts: Giorgio, Tina, Paolo, and other friends have a number of 'eye-to-eye' contacts with space brothers, with rides in starships, and with conversations, in which it is revealed to them that they are the so-called 'angels' of the Bible, or mediators and messengers of those who served God's will, and still serve, to reveal the truth to men of Earth, and to guide them on the path toward higher development. During the encounter their car received tremendous heat and the engine was severely damaged.
In the course of such meetings, the group received important revelations and messages of utmost seriousness, which concern all the inhabitants of this afflicted planet. The invitation to follow paths to a better way of life is well advised, for the time of great catastrophes and dreadful happenings about which the Apocalypse speaks is coming nearer; the day in which "one will be taken away and the other left behind."
On the occasion of one of these unusual meetings, the Earthly friends, who had been entrusted with messages and teachings, and had been guests on the flying saucers and the starships, were allowed to have the wonderful experience of visiting a distant planet.
Understanding of this work is important and perhaps decisive for every person.
A few examples of UFO encounters are: In Indian Sanskrit, space vehicles are generally called 'Vimanas.' Cicero, in the 43rd chapter of his "De Divinatione", writes of 'balls in the heavens'; Julius Obsequens, in "Prodigia", writes of 'flaming shields', and these descriptions occur likewise in Aschylos, Plutarch, Seneca, and Valerius Maximus. and Xenophon. Dio Cassius related that, at the first landing of the Romans in Great Britain under Aulus Plautus in the year 43 B. C., a round object flew like lightning from east to west. Roman soldiers had UFO like objects on their shields.
'Dark globes' were seen over Basel in the Middle Ages, and similarly, there were 'airships' in the skies of the United States toward the end of the 19th century. During World War II, 'balls of light' and so-called 'foo-fighters' followed both the Allied and the German aircraft.
USAF First Responders Announce Intent to File Federal Lawsuit.
A bombshell exploded at the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure on April 30, 2013, in Washington, D.C., when retired USAF Tech Sergeants John Burroughs and James Penniston announced their intention to bring a federal lawsuit against the Veterans Administration (VA) in an effort to obtain medical benefits and to remedy injuries sustained in the line of duty at Bentwaters RAF Base in December of 1980.
If the lawsuit comes to trial, the Sergeants who witnessed a UFO at RAF Bentwaters will bring out the significant series of events. All those shown testified at the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure. Sergeants Penniston and Burroughs were the first on-scene responders to a potential base incursion by a UFO Penniston actually touched the UFO and both have been denied access to their military medical records that may show the effects of the UFO on their bodies.
The UFO incident has been denied by the government despite the release in 1983 of a memorandum by the then-Deputy Base Commander Lt. Col. Charles Halt to the British Ministry of Defense confirming the incident. The VA has utterly denied benefits to the pair and further obfuscated any release of medical records on the incident without reason preventing any proper treatment.
By filing a federal lawsuit, the pair intends to force disclosure of the details known to their chain of command pertaining to the incident that would prove useful in treatment of their respective conditions. Lunar Base
NASA wants to establish a lunar base, but would like to have private enterprise do it. The U.S. space agency has contracted with Bigelow Aerospace to plan a design for a permanent outpost on the Moon. David Weaver, NASAs associate administrator, announced that NASA would conduct a planning phase study with Bigelow Aerospace. Bigelow Aerospace worked closely with MUFON investigating UFOs several years ago.
Bigelow Aerospace was founded and is operated by Robert Bigelow a strong UFO advocate who is financing his aerospace company from money he made from his successful Budget Suites of America hotelchain.

Arizona Rectangle
PHOENIX -- I was traveling south on I17 on my way to work with a co-worker on April 25, 2013. We were just past Happy Valley Road and before Pinnacle Peak Road. On the west side of the interstate floating above the ground about 100 feet was a black rectangle about 30 to 50 feet long and about 10 feet in height. The black sides were smooth and dark, like blackened windows, along the sides of it as far as I could tell. On the bottom where white round circles about 3 feet in diameter, that covered the entire bottom. My co-worker said "Those things must be how it stays up there." As we passed by we went under the Pinnacle Peak Road overpass. We turned back to see if it was still there and could not locate it. When they went on down I17 to work. It was about 6:30 AM.
I am thinking that this happened about April 24/25 2010. My co-worker and I laughed at the time saying, Now we saw a UFO and it was sort of small and lame. I didnt take a photo, but this what I saw and found on the internet. Thanks to MUFON CMS
California Disc
SAN DIEGO -- My wife and I were having a glass of wine looking south out our picture window from our hillside home in La Jolla on April 26, 2013 and saw twelve orange orbs slowly ascending. At 8:30 PM, the orbs ascended slowly and gracefully about ten miles away over the South Bay of San Diego Bay. They climbed in a slow continuous, upward direction separating into three groups, and formed two triangles and one rectangle. The orbs slowly disappeared from view when they were high in the air, and 15 to 20 degrees up. They did not appear to be drifting, as if driven by the wind. Thanks to MUFON CMS

lake park -- Im a crewmember on a private yacht out of Palm Beach on April 26, 2013. We were headed out to Riviera Beach to fuel up. As we passed a "super yacht" Marina I snapped a picture of the yacht designed and owned by Steve Jobs. Later I downloaded picture to my computer and noticed something in the sky, zoomed in and it is not a plane, helicopter, or the Goodyear Blimp. Pretty interesting but I cant figure this one out. I am not a stranger to sightings and have contacted MUFON on a few occasions. Last sighting was at Christmas of 2012 in Rhode Island when a huge saucer shaped object passed VERY low right over my friends and I. Thanks to MUFON CMS

ALGONQUIN -- My wife and I were taking the trash out during the evening of April 26, 2013, I saw three orange lights coming from the southwest; I pointed them out and she immediately saw the lights, and wondered what it was, as I did. The lights were spherical in shape with changing colors every two seconds from red, yellow, orange. As they flew over head there was no sound. The objects proceeded east over us with all but one staying on their path. Then one more showed and I grabbed my camera and ran outside with my son who also saw them and was able to get this video of their departure. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Maine Light
Exeter-- I was in my garage listening to the radio when my son yelled for me to "Come see this!" I went outside and my wife, son and I looked up to what appeared to be a fireball in the sky on April 27, 2013 at 8:15 pm. It appeared to be moving and wasnt aircraft landing lights. My thought was it may be an aircraft on fire coming into Bangor International Airport, so I yelled to my son to grab my camera. He came back outside seconds later, and I started snapping pictures of the object.
I did get several pictures of the object as it faded, but then came back getting brighter and larger. It was coming right towards us as I snapped a few more pictures as it split and disappeared. Im 43 and worked nights for nine years so Im familiar with everything in the night sky, but this sends shivers down my spine. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Olivet -- A friend of mine lives on campus over at Olivet College on April 27, 2013. I saw on a social network some photos he posted. He said that he was one of the only people, not the only person, to see this UFO. He said that it was moving around when he took photos of it. I later researched about Olivet and found that Olivet is known for supernatural things happening but more like Ghosts and things like that happening. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Montana Cow Mutilation
Browning -- I called the witness regarding a sighting of strange lights in the sky that occurred on April 19, 2013. She said that these strange behaving lights have recently been noted on many nights and have been witnessed by family members. The witness was assisting her brother-in-law and sister with calving operations five miles south of Browning and all cows were checked and fine at 4:30 AM. At 7:10 AM, after sunrise the animal was found mutilated and her calf was also dead. The only blood found was around the mouth where precision cuts had been made. Predators would not touch the animal. The witness snapped several photos a few hours after the mutilation was noted. No UFO activity was noted at the time of the mutilation but unusual nocturnal lights had recently been noted on several nights. Thanks to MUFON CMS
New Jersey Sighting
RANDOLPH A couple called on April 25, 2013, they had seen a Mothership and seven to eleven craft flying with jerky movements. Three in sky with light shoot through northwest. 20 degrees two tiny lights on both sides drifts towards, just spoke to an Astronomer from the Morris Museum.
He described much of what we are seeing, but he could not explain the jerky-motioned "star" that circled and bobbed the other "star" - for lack of a better term. He thought the orb streaking across the sky might have been a satellite, I guess there is a lot of reflection...some makes sense, but not all. Anna in Randolph, NJ

MASSAPEQUA Its a hobby of mine to record and review video taken with a webcam from on top of my roof. Ive been doing this for over a year now and have never captured anything even close to this before. You might not be able to tell but the object moved across the skyline in less than a second on April 20, 2013. The camera itself captures 30 frames a second. I really dont think its a bird. Ohio Pilot Witnesses Strange Objects
ALLIANCE -- "I am a retired pilot and the reason I was startled is that I initially stared at the lead object that resembled a turbo-prop aircraft with an engine fire on April 21, 2013. I was facing north when I noticed on the horizon three objects flying in formation 30 degrees above the horizon at an altitude of 2500 feet AGL "The lead craft was in the middle and the other two craft a mile behind."
The craft were heading due west (270 degrees) making no sound." The witness described the objects.
"They resembled an orange-yellow fireball with no discernible sharp edges. The fiery glowing light they emitted was no aircraft lighting as this light came from the entire craft. It was not light being projected onto say the fuselage or vertical stabilizer as pilots turn on below 10,000 feet when landing to light the logo or name on an airplane.
I got my binoculars and saw a fourth object trailing the three, completing a tetrahedron formation as the fourth craft was trailing the lead craft by five miles." "The craft were traveling at roughly 125 KTS. The witness is a longtime sky watcher and has never seen anything like this before.

I grew up flying with my father and then at the age of 17 obtained my ratings and went on to have a career in aviation with tens of thousands of hours of flight time and this is the first time I saw something I cannot explain. Utah Orb WEST VALLEY CITY -- I got a strong urge to go outside, if I did that Id see UFOs. It was like a voice in my head telling me it would be after 9:00 PM. The numbers 9:02, 9:08 popped into to mind and others times, but I only remember the first two. I have not gone out to look for a long time. I have been just noting I was being summoned, but refused to go outside.....refused to corporate with them. Anyway I decide to go outside and corporate this time. I take my binoculars and cell phone. My 10X50 binoculars are mounted on a tripod, which enables steady clear viewing.
The first one at 9:02 PM..... I see it up high as told. It was maybe 12,000 feet in altitude? It was going very fast, it crossed half the sky in about 5 seconds. It was heading north and appeared to be bright white round sphere. As usual nothing blinked on it, just one solid round lit sphere.
The second one was moving much slower, it was heading North-northwest. It went on the west side of the valley at about 9,000 feet altitude at 9:08 PM. It was a bright white round sphere with no FFA markings, no sound, just a bright round glowing ball.
The third one was slowing coming over the valley from the west. It turned and headed towards me for a few moments. I was thinking great! Its going to come right over me! Then as I thought of videoing it or photographing it. It then turned once I thought of doing this. It seemed to turn on purpose for me thinking this. It seemed this was not pleasing to them. So they turned and headed South-southeast. It was only about 6,000 feet or less in altitude. Bright white round sphere with no FFA marking lights. I could not hear any sound. As close as it was, I could have got good video footage. However, I have tried this a few times and got foiled for my efforts.....hahaha. I also knew if I dont do this, then they will come more often and get much closer next time. So I did not bother to try and did not want to irritate them. I know this sounds crazy to most everyone, but a few people will know exactly what Im saying here. So I added this in the report for those select few that will identify with what they have experienced with UFOs too. The time for this one was 9:13 PM. I watched it for about 4 minutes? These bright white round spheres have a black small spot on the bottom of them, which is only visible up close and once they are over you. It cannot be seen from a side view, only from a bottom view of this craft.
The fourth was coming from the east side of the valley and heading North-northwest. It was moving slow. It then slowed down, appearing to stop and started to dim down slowly. It was soon not visible. It was bright white and I think it was at about 7,000 feet AGL. The time was 9:29 PM. I waited until almost 10:00 PM, but did not see it again or any others. Surry -- On April 17, 2013 at around 2053 hours I was scanning the skies with a thermo imaging camera I notice an object that appeared to be a boomerang coming from the west to east. I notices the boomerang slit off in 4 circles object and became a tight formation. I grabbed my cell phone and started to record the screen while tracking the objects. I could not see these objects with the naked eye. They were not there. The thermo camera was the only thing picking up the three objects moving right to left. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Martín Coronado -- On April 5, 2013, I saw from my house witness with my wife and kids flying triangle object with 12 light around the edges which was moving throw the night sky after a while the shape of edges moves, and looks like it was 12 light balls moving to same direction, then appears another one.. and after ten minutes appears another one with really disorganized shape, after 1 min or less, the light the last one , come to a line and move to the down town direction.. I saw also too many choppers around the area. We live near a military base and I think they saw the lights as well. I'm sure this wasnt any type of glob, object done by humans. manly, New South Wales The witness was lying near the water on Sydney Harbor with two others on March 17, 2013, enjoying a relaxing Sunday, looking up to the sky. Witness saw two objects fly out from behind a cloud and disappear. The other people present also saw a white/metallic object that other appeared green. Then three more objects were seen flying in formation and also quickly disappeared from view. The witness phoned me and asked me if I could see them. I responded, "Why are you calling me, why aren't you filming? The witness saw two more objects and began filming the high flying objects. Darlington -- These are hundreds of "UFOs" that a biochemist-turned-school teacher says he captured on his $600 digital camera from the veranda of his home in the Perth Hills. Rob Hartland has taken more than 20,000 photos of the day-time sky in the past six months and analyzed them on his computer. It began when he was taking photos of clouds to test out a new camera when he noticed a "smudge" that, when enlarged and enhanced, "had some structure to it, suggesting it could be some sort of craft in the sky." He has identified a dozen different UFOs including round, square and saucer-shaped craft, posting the photos to his website wispyclouds.net for extra-terrestrial buffs and skeptics to ponder.

"I take about 30 shots at a time. In ten minutes I'll take 300+ images. Then I connect the camera to the computer. I zoom in and enhance any little thing I note on the images and you get these craft in anywhere from 2 per cent to 20 per cent of shots," Mr. Hartland said.
"Some of them appear to have transparent canopies and in some shots it looks like there could be occupants inside." I always say 'could' rather than 'is'. There is always doubt. But UFO stands for unidentified flying object and as far as I'm concerned these aren't identified. "There's no way it is a bird or insect or plane they look totally different and these craft move much faster."
Mr. Hartland has completed a PhD in biochemistry, said he had no history of mental illness or drug taking and that he never altered his photos. The Sunday Times picture editor Jackson Flindell said Mr. Hartland's images did not appear to have been tampered with, but dust on a digital camera's image sensor could cause anomalies, while powerful magnification could also distort images. Kozloduy On April 7, 2013, a sunny day, as we were travelling with my husband back to Kozloduy, I was taking pictures with my camera. Suddenly I saw a glowing object on the picture. It was really surprising for me, because the sky was almost clear. There were only little, white, fluffy clouds. But the object doesn't look like them, as you can see on the picture. I actually didn't saw it really. To make sure that it isn't some defect on my lens, I made some more pictures, but the object didn't showed again. Aurora About 22:20 hours driving NB on Highway 400 north of King Road I noticed an object pass over my vehicle on April 22, 2013. Object was travelling northwest at a very high rate of speed. All that could be seen was two rectangular more square than rectangular emitting and bright orange light. There was a space between the two rectangles. The rectangles were side by side. The object was travelling at a very high rate of speed not lowering or lifting in the sky. It was out of sight in about 5 seconds. It made no sound what so ever. The only way I could describe the speed is to liken it to a jet fighter doing a fly by at a very high rate of speed very low to the ground. Except this object was probably about 5000 feet in the air or more. It had no other lights of any kind. Just to the west was a plane with strobes about same altitude heading in a southeast direction. Medellin-- My nephew called me tonight to tell me about lights in the night sky. I went outside my house, the night sky was cloudy but I saw some lights that were moving from south to west spreading and crunching, creating clouds that surrounded them. When they reached de west at 40 degree above the western horizon, they turned towards east as following an equatorial orbit. Then I couldn't see them any longer. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Grand Turk Island
CAICOS -- My husband and I took a cruise to the Caribbean and we saw a UFO as our ship pulled away from Grand Turk at 8:30 PM on December 14, 2012. It wasa goldish tan egg shaped object that flew directly above our balcony towards the open ocean. My husband looks and says Its probably a satellite. I say Thats not a satellite. Its too low and close and its not lit up.
All of the sudden it stops and zips straight back to the ship right in front of us looking like a white ping pong ball with a vibration blur around it. Silently it darts back to where it originally stopped and darts back to the ship again a little higher up. It darts back out again and turns back into a gold egg again. India Bright Cylindrical Hovering Object
VARANASI,Andaman and Nicobar Islands -- My son and I were on the roof of our house when my son pointed out the hovering cylindrical object in March 2013.The object was cylindrical in shape with no wings; and left no gas trail if it were a rocket. It was bright and shiny and our sighting lasted for three minutes. It quickly changed directions, while maintaining the same general direction. I am very much sure it wasn't a conventional craft. Ireland Orbs
CORK -- A three-minute video, captured on a cell phone in Southern Ireland has started a debate on UFOs. The recording, which shows three bright orbs flying erratically, has sparked discussion over the existence of little green men and spurred criticism from skeptics.
The clip was recorded in December 2012 but was uploaded in March by the YouTube user Natkis. It shows three bright lights flying in the sky, in some sort of pattern. These lights are then joined by others on the right hand side of the screen.
KFAR BIN-NUN -- It was on my birthday, and I came home after 6 PM, on March 14, 2013, and noticed something in the sky. At first I thought that those were airplanes, but there was no noise and they circled too long above my village. Each object had three lights circling every minute that would almost touch each other and then continue circling again and again. Those lights would go on and off in both craft fading in and out perfectly synchronized. I have a Canon 40D and a Canon 70-200 2.8 IS lens.

Karachi -- We were at the roof of our friends home when I sighted an orange/red flaming object floating and moving in the sky on March 30, 2013. I informed all my friends to look at that thing and we all saw the object. It was there for one minute then it was gone in front of our eyes. Puerto Rico Fireballs
CAGUAS-- My husband and I saw seven red fireballs on the night of March 22, 2013, about 8:35 PM. We were driving in the city when I first spotted two red lights in the sky fairly low. I asked my husband if he knew if there were any new antennas? Then I noticed the lights were moving slowly and going up. Then I knew I was watching strange very red, close and parallel fireballs. They were about 500 feet high and took a course to the northeast.
I asked my husband to stop the car and we got out as the first two fireballs disappeared slowly. Then I saw three higher, around 900 feet ASL. WEM --Shropshire Star reports, Two girls, who are both aged 14 and in year nine at Thomas Adams School in Wem, were playing in the towns Lowe Hill Park when they spotted the object moving diagonally across the sky on Friday afternoon.
Lydia Arrowsmith, left, and India Griffiths looking out for another UFO. Lydia said: We were taking pictures of each other on the swings and my friend saw something in the corner of her eye and quickly took a picture. It passed reasonably fast diagonally upwards into the sky.
The girls rushed indoors and showed the picture to Lydias dad Paul, 55 and Mum, 51. The father-of-three said: They were very excited, I had a look at the picture and tried blowing it up on the computer. I can describe what it is not, but I cant describe what it is. It is nothing familiar.

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - It's one of the most famous and well-documented UFO stories ever. It thrust a small Arizona town into the international spotlight. Hollywood made a movie about it. Decades later, people are still talking about it, and the man in the middle of it all has a message for you.
For some, what happened in the White Mountains on November 5, 1975 is a matter of belief. For others, its fact.
Twenty-two-year-old Travis Walton was with a logging crew in a national forest outside Snowflake, Ariz. In the darkness, the crew said they saw a glow.
To me, it was the urge to see it up close before it got away, Walton told KGUN9 recently.
The 90s sci-fi flick Fire the Sky shows what Travis said "it" was: some kind of spaceship.
After Walton ran toward the glow, he later described, I was hit by a blast of energy from this craft.
His buddies all said they saw it, too. They drove off without him and later told deputies about Waltons disappearance. A massive search followed.
Days later, Walton finally turned up on a street, half-conscious, and soon describing the inside of a UFO.
Now, nearly four decades later, Walton -- and every single man there that night -- are all still sticking to that story.
It's an ongoing battle, he said, explaining hes spent years fighting what he calls "misinformation."
That I had been hallucinating on drugs, that the hypnotist had planted these memories in my mind, he said, giving examples.
Walton wrote a tell-all book, pointing out, for example, every crew member passed a lie detector test.
Walton said it's only a matter of time till everyone's a believer.
The skeptics are a bit like Flat Earthers, he said.
Chris Impey is a distinguished professor at the University of Arizona's astronomy department. He said personal stories and fuzzy photos don't cut it -- that scientists need hard evidence as proof in cases like Walton's.
Some artifact, some physical object that we can look at -- that anyone can look at -- and say, 'No, this isn't terrestrial,' Impey said.
No such object has ever been delivered into a scientist's hands so they remain skeptics, he added.
Firm belief in what happened near Snowflake forced Steve Pierce to break his silence. He was there that night.
It just scared me so bad that I didn't talk about, Pierce told KGUN9 over the phone.
He didnt talk about it until recently. Pierce said he's speaking up to get the "truth" out there, at the request of his daughter.
My family still doesnt believe us, he said. I've got two brothers that still don't believe it.
Walton also has people close to him that dont believe, he said. Thats one reason he regretted running toward the light that night.
I wished I'd stayed in the truck, he said.
It derailed my life and I wish I could have it back, he also said, adding hes since accepted what happened as fate.
Still, he has never changed his story and neither have any of the witnesses. Nearly 40 years later, the mystery of Snowflake lives on.

David Weaver, NASAs associate administrator, announced that NASA would conduct a planning phase study with Bigelow Aerospace. Bigelow Aerospace worked closely with MUFON investigating UFOs several years ago.
PHOENIX -- I was traveling south on I17 on my way to work with a co-worker on April 25, 2013. We were just past Happy Valley Road and before Pinnacle Peak Road. On the west side of the interstate floating above the ground about 100 feet was a black rectangle about 30 to 50 feet long and about 10 feet in height. The black sides were smooth and dark, like blackened windows, along the sides of it as far as I could tell. On the bottom where white round circles about 3 feet in diameter, that covered the entire bottom. My co-worker said "Those things must be how it stays up there." As we passed by we went under the Pinnacle Peak Road overpass. We turned back to see if it was still there and could not locate it. When they went on down I17 to work. It was about 6:30 AM. 
lake park -- Im a crewmember on a private yacht out of Palm Beach on April 26, 2013. We were headed out to Riviera Beach to fuel up. As we passed a "super yacht" Marina I snapped a picture of the yacht designed and owned by Steve Jobs. Later I downloaded picture to my computer and noticed something in the sky, zoomed in and it is not a plane, helicopter, or the Goodyear Blimp. Pretty interesting but I cant figure this one out. I am not a stranger to sightings and have contacted MUFON on a few occasions. Last sighting was at Christmas of 2012 in Rhode Island when a huge saucer shaped object passed VERY low right over my friends and I. Thanks to MUFON CMS 
ALGONQUIN -- My wife and I were taking the trash out during the evening of April 26, 2013, I saw three orange lights coming from the southwest; I pointed them out and she immediately saw the lights, and wondered what it was, as I did. The lights were spherical in shape with changing colors every two seconds from red, yellow, orange. As they flew over head there was no sound. The objects proceeded east over us with all but one staying on their path. Then one more showed and I grabbed my camera and ran outside with my son who also saw them and was able to get this video of their departure. Thanks to MUFON CMS 
Exeter -- I was in my garage listening to the radio when my son yelled for me to "Come see this!" I went outside and my wife, son and I looked up to what appeared to be a fireball in the sky on April 27, 2013 at 8:15 pm. It appeared to be moving and wasnt aircraft landing lights. My thought was it may be an aircraft on fire coming into Bangor International Airport, so I yelled to my son to grab my camera. He came back outside seconds later, and I started snapping pictures of the object. 
Browning -- I called the witness regarding a sighting of strange lights in the sky that occurred on April 19, 2013. She said that these strange behaving lights have recently been noted on many nights and have been witnessed by family members. 
-- "I am a retired pilot and the reason I was startled is that I initially stared at the lead object that resembled a turbo-prop aircraft with an engine fire on April 21, 2013. I was facing north when I noticed on the horizon three objects flying in formation 30 degrees above the horizon at an altitude of 2500 feet AGL "The lead craft was in the middle and the other two craft a mile behind." 
WEST VALLEY CITY -- I got a strong urge to go outside, if I did that Id see UFOs. It was like a voice in my head telling me it would be after 9:00 PM. The numbers 9:02, 9:08 popped into to mind and others times, but I only remember the first two. I have not gone out to look for a long time. I have been just noting I was being summoned, but refused to go outside.....refused to corporate with them. Anyway I decide to go outside and corporate this time. I take my binoculars and cell phone. My 10X50 binoculars are mounted on a tripod, which enables steady clear viewing. 
Surry -- On April 17, 2013 at around 2053 hours I was scanning the skies with a thermo imaging camera I notice an object that appeared to be a boomerang coming from the west to east. I notices the boomerang slit off in 4 circles object and became a tight formation. I grabbed my cell phone and started to record the screen while tracking the objects. I could not see these objects with the naked eye. They were not there. The thermo camera was the only thing picking up the three objects moving right to left. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Martín Coronado -- On April 5, 2013, I saw from my house witness with my wife and kids flying triangle object with 12 light around the edges which was moving throw the night sky after a while the shape of edges moves, and looks like it was 12 light balls moving to same direction, then appears another one.. and after ten minutes appears another one with really disorganized shape, after 1 min or less, the light the last one , come to a line and move to the down town direction.. I saw also too many choppers around the area. We live near a military base and I think they saw the lights as well. I'm sure this wasnt any type of glob, object done by humans. They fly very fast and move the direction very smoothly. Hope somebody else show in my area. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Darlington -- These are hundreds of "UFOs" that a biochemist-turned-school teacher says he captured on his $600 digital camera from the veranda of his home in the Perth Hills. Rob Hartland has taken more than 20,000 photos of the day-time sky in the past six months and analyzed them on his computer. It began when he was taking photos of clouds to test out a new camera when he noticed a "smudge" that, when enlarged and enhanced, "had some structure to it, suggesting it could be some sort of craft in the sky." He has identified a dozen different UFOs including round, square and saucer-shaped craft, posting the photos to his website 
-- My husband and I took a cruise to the Caribbean and we saw a UFO as our ship pulled away from Grand Turk at 8:30 PM on December 14, 2012. It was a goldish tan egg shaped object that flew directly above our balcony towards the open ocean. My husband looks and says Its probably a satellite. I say Thats not a satellite. Its too low and close and its not lit up. 
CORK -- A three-minute video, captured on a cell phone in Southern Ireland has started a debate on 
KFAR BIN-NUN -- It was on my birthday, and I came home after 6 PM, on March 14, 2013, and noticed something in the sky. At first I thought that those were airplanes, but there was no noise and they circled too long above my village. Each object had three lights circling every minute that would almost touch each other and then continue circling again and again. Those lights would go on and off in both craft fading in and out perfectly synchronized. I have a Canon 40D and a Canon 70-200 2.8 IS lens. 
WEM -- Shropshire Star reports, Two girls, who are both aged 14 and in year nine at Thomas Adams School in Wem, were playing in the towns Lowe Hill Park when they spotted the object moving diagonally across the sky on Friday afternoon.
