While camping alone on the cliffs of Gay Head, Aquinnah, Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts I made this observation. It was Bill Clinton’s birthday, as mine was the day before, so I guess we were both celebrating on the island…my accommodations were a bit more primitive than his I’d guess. To save money I drove my motorcycle to a secluded spot on Gay Head Cliff, looking out to No Man’s Island, an uninhabited island that had been used by the military for bombing practice, about a mile off shore. It was very dark, but a nice starry night. I had passed Clinton’s motorcade earlier that day and was just enjoying the solitude and peace of that beautiful island. The beach front lay before me at the bottom of the cliff; a clothing optional beach, very famous, was nearby and got extensive use on sunny summer days. The President had done a book signing that day in Vineyard Haven and may have been coming back from the beach when I saw his motorcade. It was late, about 1am, when I finally settled down, as I wanted to be as inconspicuous as possible; camping was illegal there. I had only a sleeping bag, which was enough for that nice weather. As I was looking out over the cliff to the SW I saw a fishing boat way off, a dragger, with all its very bright lights on, not moving so it seemed. Suddenly, to the right of the boat appeared a large, spinning, pinwheel kind of light, with reds, oranges, and yellows going round and round, going clockwise. It was just at the ocean surface and not far from the boat..I thought, those guys on the boat have to be looking at this light. It was kind of freaky watching, trying to figure out what it could be. It was not related to the boat at all. I watched it stay steady for about ten minutes when all of a sudden it just went out, like someone pulled a light switch…just gone. The boat was still in the same spot. I wondered whether it was still there with its light out or moving in the darkness with out lights. I kept watching but never saw the light again..I didn’t sleep much that night, wondering if it might find me there alone, miles from the nearest habitation. Just a weird and lucky observation for me. I wonder what the boat crew thought. I’d say the pinwheel was almost the size of the ship and that they were very near each other, relative to my position. Was it observing the boat? I can’t help but wonder, as I hear the screams and fear in the background of some of these captures, just how people are going to react when the invasion of these “space enemies” finally happens. Well, as the Bible states, some will just fall dead at the sight of it.

More readers have submitted their own snaps of the mysterious sight.
Andrew Hill, from Tuffley, spotted the phenomenon from Haresfield Beacon. He said: “It looks like falling debris with fire or flames at the front of the trails.
“In the image there are four trails. I hope we will get some reason for this phenomenon soon.”
Reader Paul Hooper also wrote in to say that he was in South Worcestershire when he saw what looked like a ‘UFO falling to earth’.
Astronomer John Fletcher, who runs the Mount Tuffley Observatory from his Tuffley home, ruled out anything falling from space such as a meteor or UFO.
He said: “This is likely to be a distortion of a vapour trail from a jet airliner as it enters the twilight zone in the atmosphere.
“If it was a meteor then it would have been much faster. I can rule out it being anything falling from space.”
A 61-year-old Florida UFO witness has a conclusion for those studying UFO sightings – they're all ours, according to March 14, 2014, testimony in Case 54675 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness says he's always been interested in military aircraft – and he's seen some usual things over the years – objects that look like our aircraft – but don't behave like our aircraft.
“I've watched a B-58 Hustler hovering about 20 feet over some trees; for maybe six to eight seconds,” the witness stated. “I was maybe a hundred yards away. The B-58 Hustler does not hover.”
One object covered too much ground in too little time.
“I've seen a UFO flying from east to west, covering an estimated distance of 20 miles; in about eight seconds. It seemed to be anywhere from 500 to 1,000 feet long. It bounced up and down as it crossed the sky. It bounced up and down in the sky, like an A/C current sine wave. From peak to peak of its bounce, I'd say was maybe half a mile.”
One object looked like one of ours, but appeared to be altered.
“And I saw one UFO that looked basically like a Navy F-14 Tomcat with its wings folded for super-sonic flight. The similarity ended at where the engine intakes are on an F-14. It was like an F-14 without a cockpit; ascending and reflecting sunlight so much it almost hurt my eyes to look at it.”
Today is a sad day to report the passing of Dr. Roger K. Leir, we have lost a great family man, podiatrist and devoted ufologist. He will be greatly missed by all.
I was in my car yesterday when Richard Shaw phoned and told me.
“Have you heard?”
“Heard what I asked.”
“Oh, I guess you haven’t heard yet.” He paused for a moment and I heard in his voice that something was wrong. “Roger died yesterday of a heart attack…”
“What?” I said in disbelief, stunned by what I was hearing.
Richard continued letting me know that Roger had gone to the doctor because his ankle was flaring up again. He went into the bathroom and apparently had a heart attack while in there. Efforts to revive him failed.
I first met Dr. Leir or as Richard and I have come to call him between us, Uncle Roger, at a MUFON meeting in 1999. Nephilim had just been published and I went to the meeting to see author Barry Chamish, who had also written a book on the Nephilim. While there I was introduced for the first time to Dr. Roger Leir. I had heard about him and his recent extraction of an alleged alien implant. We talked for a while about UFOs and implants and then I asked him, what the implant looked like.
He reached into his coat pocket and produced a small vial and looking at me with an impish grin said, Here it is, want to take a look?
I was taken aback realizing that I was about to hold the implant myself. He popped the lid of the continuer and then let the implant fall into my open palm. That’s who Roger was. You never really knew what he was going to tell you or show you.
Roger was in all of the Watchers films, and is the focus of Watchers 7. He was the pioneer of implant removal and his commitment to the research in this field will be sorely missed. He was a friend and I will miss him.

Nous avons la profonde tristesse de vous faire part du décés le 14 mars 2014 du Dr Roger Leir.
Il était alors à l’hôpital quand le malheur est arrivé, avant même toutes interventions. On n’a ps connaissance à cette heure de la cause du décés de Roger Leir. Roger avait été renversé par une voiture alors qu’il rentrait du Symposium International du Mufon à Irvine, en Californie en 2010, hospitalisé avec des blessures aux pieds et à l’abdomen, il a été hospitalisé durant quelque temps. Il a reprise ensuite ses activités.
Roger Leir est venu à nos repas ovni de Paris il y a quelques années, après la traduction et l’édition de son premier ouvrage en France. Outre son extrème compétence dans le domaine des implants éventuellement « d’origine E.T. » (Il était devenu le nr 1 mondial dans ce domaine et a donné des conférence au Royaume-Uni, Brésil, Turquie, Japon, Australie, France , Canada, Pérou, Mexique, Italie, Saint-Marin…) il était d’une gentillesse sans limite, attentionné et toujours prét à rendre service. Nous pouvions le suivre, parcourant inlassablement les Etats-Unis, le monde, lors de conférences qu’il donnait dans les congrès et réunions diverses, spécialisées en général sur le phénomène ovni. Il ne savait pas dire « non » lorsqu’on lui demandait de venir lors d’une telle manifestation et se mettait en quatre pour faire plaisir. Nous gardons tous et ce jour là à ce repas OVNI à Paris plus de 200 personnes présente, un excellent souvenir de son intervention qui a remplie de bonheur la salle. Gildas Bourdais, son ami de toujours et le traducteur de ses œuvres littéraires, était là pour le présenter, le soutenir et traduire son intervention.
Rappelons que le Dr Leir et son équipe ont effectué plus de 15 interventions chirurgicales sur des personnes qui prétendaient avoir été enlevées par des E.T. ce qui a abouti à l’extraction de 16 objets distincts soupçonnés d’être des implants exotiques. Analysés par d’importants laboratoires, ces objets sont vraiment insolites, tels des anomalies metallurgiques ou encore des rapports isotopiques étrangers à notre monde.
Il s’est aussi déplacé au Brésil afin de mener une enquête sur l’affaire de Varginha. Ce cas l’intriguait et il a voulu en savoir plus afin de tenter de faire la lumiére dans ce dossier. Il a écrit par la suite un ouvrage sur Varginha dans lequel il raconte ce qu’il a appri.
Le Dr Leir, chirurgien durant plus de 43 années était titulaire d’un diplôme universitaire de Dr en médecine podiatrique, Bac es-science et agrégé en Art. Il était certifié par:

Wallonië is in de ban van wat ze het wonder van Jalhay noemen. In dat plaatsje, in de buurt van Luik, licht een Mariabeeldje elke avond spontaan op. Een wonder, aldus de eigenaars en heel wat mensen die het al aanschouwden. Vooral omdat het beeldje volgens hen ook heelkundige en goddelijke krachten zou hebben.
De Maria van Jalhay, zo wordt ze inmiddels genoemd. Honderden kijklustige pelgrims hebben al een bezoek gebracht aan het dorpje. In de woning van het stel waar het Mariabeeld staat, is het dezer dagen aanschuiven geblazen wanneer de sculptuur oplicht. Woensdagavond kwamen 500 mensen opdagen om het gloeien van het beeldje te kunnen zien. De politie moest zelfs snelheidsbeperkingen instellen om het verkeer niet te laten ontregelen.
Donderdag telde burgemeester Michel Fransolet meer dan 1000 geïnteresseerden. Het gehele weekend wordt er nog een grote toestroom van bezoekers verwacht. Uit respect voor de eigenaars wordt gevraagd de bezoekuren tussen 19 en 21 uur te respecteren.
Het bisdom Luik stuurt een priester naar het dorpje voor een diepgaand onderzoek. De kerk wil de feiten officieel niet erkennen, maar in tegenspraak met de boodschap van het evangelie is het oplichten alvast niet, aldus bisschop Jean-Pierre Delville. Het gemeentebestuur vraagt de oprichting van een comité van experts om het fenomeen te onderzoeken.
De krant La Dernière Heure slaagde erin een eigen oplichtende Maria te maken met gietklei en een fluorescerende acryllak. Het effect kwam erg dicht in de buurt van de Maria van Jalhay, aldus de krant. Chemicus Mark Van Der Auweraer van de KU Leuven denkt dat fotoluminescentie de meest waarschijnlijke verklaring is voor het oplichtende beeld.
Ook volgens professor natuurkunde Pasquale Nardone is er niets bijzonders aan het beeldje. Na jarenlang stof en nicotine te hebben vergaard is het onlangs eens afgestoft en ‘werkt’ het nu weer, zo is de gedachte.

I was awakened at 2:38 a.m on 3/12/14 by a sound like my cellphone ring but it was only five notes. I opened my eyes and there was an image, about 2′x3′ on the wall in front of me. It was obviously bamboo trunks and leaves. The image faded to black in about 3 seconds. This has happened before with other images, like forest scenes. These wake-up calls are usually accompanied by craft being sited outside my window. This time my blinds were open. I rolled over and there was a very large star-like object (as big or larger than Venus or Jupiter.) Every amateur astronomer with even a 70 power scope knows how fast the moon and stars are moving up there. You have to keep adjusting your telescope constantly or the object drifts right out of our field of view in a few seconds. Knowing this, I positioned my view so that the bright object was against the window frame and waited. The object did not move for 10 minutes. After that, the angle started to increase from 45º to about 50º which was the opposite direction from the moon (which was visible and which decreased its angle during the time the bright object was both stationary and moving in a retrograde motion from Earth’s rotation.) I determined then to get my Nikon D7100 camera and do a telephoto long exposure shot, sort of thinking aloud, “If you don’t want me to photograph you, you can leave before I get back with the camera.” It did not leave. I held the camera against the glass and window frame and took the shot. The camera automatically did a 2 or 3 second exposure. I will attempt to upload the full resolution photo. It appears to have captured some detail, not just a sparkle as would be the case with Venus or Jupiter since I only have a 200mm optical telephoto zoom on the camera. I have had more than 20 sightings since the first during the Phoenix lights flap. This is the first time I have ever attempted to take a picture of any of them.
