Out of Place in Time: Was This Hammer Made 100 Million Years Ago?

Oopart (out of place artifact) is a term applied to dozens of prehistoric objects found in various places around the world that seem to show a level of technological advancement incongruous with the times in which they were made. Ooparts often frustrate conventional scientists, delight adventurous investigators open to alternative theories, and spark debate.

A hammer was found in London, Texas, in 1934 encased in stone that had formed around it. The rock surrounding the hammer is said to be more than 100 million years old, suggesting the hammer was made well before humans who could have made such an object are thought to have existed.

Much mystery surrounds the so-called “London Hammer.”

Carl Baugh, who is in possession of the artifact, announced that it was tested by Battelle Laboratory in Columbus, Ohio, a lab that has tested moon rocks for NASA. The tests found the hammer to have unusual metallurgy—96.6 percent iron, 2.6 percent chlorine, 0.74 percent sulfur, and no carbon.

Carbon is usually what strengthens brittle iron, so it is strange that carbon is absent. Chlorine is not usually found in iron. The iron shows a high degree of craftsmanship without bubbles in the metal. Furthermore, it is said to be coated in an iron oxide that would not readily form under natural conditions and which prevents rust.

Glen J. Kuban, a vocal skeptic of Baugh’s hammer claims, wrote in a 1997 paper titled “The London Hammer: An Alleged Out-of-Place Artifact,” that the tests may have been conducted privately rather than at Battelle Laboratory. He cites a 1985 issue of the magazine Creation Ex Nihilo. Epoch Times contacted Battelle Laboratory to verify. A spokeswoman said she had not heard of the hammer in her 15 years at the lab, but she would check into it. 

Kuban said the stone may contain materials that are more than 100 million years old, but that doesn’t mean the rock formed around the hammer so long ago. Some limestone has formed around artifacts known to be from the 20th century, so rocks can sometimes form fairly quickly.

Baugh’s website says, however, that the fossils in the stone surrounding the hammer “retain fine detail, indicating that they were not reworked, but [are] part of the original formation.” This would suggest the fossils and the hammer are from the same time period, that the fossils did not just get mixed up in materials that formed rock around the hammer at a later date. 

Carbon dating performed in the late 1990s “showed inconclusive dates ranging from the present to 700 years ago,” Baugh supporter David Lines reported at the time. According to Kuban, Lines said the test had been contaminated by more recent organic substances. Such contamination is one of the reasons Baugh is said to have delayed having the artifact carbon dated (skeptics say he delayed because he feared being proved wrong). Dating is often called into question on both sides—by skeptics and proponents—for various reasons when it comes to ooparts.

The object was found by a hiker, and it seems it was not found embedded in the original layer of rock, which would have made a stronger case for an ancient origin. It was a chunk of rock found resting on a ledge, perhaps having tumbled there from within a larger formation.

As evidence of the hammer’s age, Baugh said part of the wooden handle had turned to coal. The photos of the hammer show a black part of the hammer that looks like it could be coal. 

The debate surrounding the hammer’s origin has become bound up with the creationism versus evolutionism debate. Baugh is a creationist. Kuban is a creationist-turned-skeptic (or a much more moderate creationist). Various creationist organizations take different stances on this artifact, and many evolutionists dismiss it as a creationist hoax. But the object remains a fascinating one apart from its role in this controversy.

Satisfying the Alien Notion

When you try to break through misinformation and disinformation, it has always been wise to realize that – no matter how smart you think you are – if you are operating with erroneous or incomplete information, you will never uncover or find a solution to any issue.

That is why I find it so discouraging that there are certain individuals that tend to have a myopic view of what is around them and that they fear the idea of opening their minds to new understanding of old ideas.

There seems to be this willful ignorance that can be worn comfortably by individuals of different political and religious beliefs. It contributes greatly to a dysfunctional and hypocritical society.

There are many people who assume a black and white solution to all things and it is difficult to discuss things that broaden the horizons of people. It used to be easy to open up the discussions about the possibility that intelligent life that is beyond this planet or even this existence had a hand in our creation. Now it is seen as a sort of cosmic blasphemy or some satanic deception that is never clearly defined.

It only feels uncomfortable because for many people creationism is something that cannot be seen as something that had a little push from scientifically advanced beings or even a superior being that many now call the creator or God.

I always seem to sound hostile to those who are in a willful denial about how there is a half way point between god and science that if it is explored could give us new insight to how we arrive in this world.

It would have us ascend beyond the fairy tale and into the hardcore truth about God and what his plan is. It would give us the spiritual and intellectual armor to put to rest once and for all the secrets about what is above us and how observers at a distance see us as wanting love, reaching out for understanding and pushing the boundaries of knowledge in order to achieve and existence that can co-exist with God – or any other being that shares the heavens with him.

A day doesn’t go by when a person with camcorder or a smartphone doesn’t capture something strange flying overhead. Equally, there isn’t a day that goes by when a person posts the video to YouTube and gets accused of faking or Photoshopping the image to get attention.

Then truth is, they all can’t be faked or CGI’ed and those who become armchair analysts with an axe to grind most certainly have no credibility, in my opinion. I think it would be unreasonably to believe that every blip, smudge and light that is out of place is a alien space craft. It is also equally unreasonable to assume that everyone has the ability to expertly fake a UFO video or picture.

But the fight for the truth continues and some people in places of power give subtle hints that they know that there is at least something to be said about alien interactions with human beings.

Back during Bill Clinton’s second term in the late 90′s, there was a rumor amongst conspiracy theorists that when Clinton came back to the White House, he requested a cigar and then asked for all of the files about Roswell. The rumor was that Clinton wanted to finally disclose the truth about what really happened.

The rumor got a little airtime on late night talk shows because many people remembered what Ronald Reagan had to say about UFO’s and whether or not the time for disclosure was about to happen.

Well, nothing really transpired after the rumor, we are still wondering and many people are waiting for the government to finally say ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to whether or not we are alone in the universe.

Recently, Jimmy Kimmel had the former president on his program and – in a roundabout way – told Clinton that if he were president he would run to the White House immediately after taking the oath he would demand to see all the files on the UFO’s. He then asked Clinton directly, “Did you do that.” Clinton replied, “Sort of.”

After all of these years, Bill Clinton admitted on national television that he did request documents about Area 51 and Roswell and told Kimmel that – at the time – he was willing to tell the American people about the truth.

He really did not go into too much detail as to why he was curious, only to say that – in 1997 – the 50th anniversary of the Roswell crash was about to be observed and he knew that there would be tons of letters being sent to him about the event.

He then proceeded to tell Kimmel some of his thought about how the world would united if there was the revelation of aliens. Some of his views paraphrased a lot of what President Reagan had said about aliens.

“I just hope that it’s not like Independence Day, that it’s a conflict… Maybe the only way to unite this incredibly divided world of ours – they’re out there, we better – think of how all the differences among people on earth would seem small if we felt threatened by a space invader.” — Bill Clinton

Compare this to what Ronald Reagan had to say about aliens and their presence.

“Just think how easy his task and mine might be if [...] suddenly there was a threat to the world from some other species from another planet outside in the universe. We’d forget all the little local differences that we have between our countries, and we would find out once and for all that we really are all human beings here on this Earth together.” — Ronald Reagan

After the discussion I had with L.A. Marzulli about the so-called alien “watchers” that he cited as being with man before and during the times of Noah, it needs to be pointed out that every secret society, cult, cabal and indeed every significant and manipulated event in history has somehow been based on events that can be determined “extra-terrestrial.”

Authors Zecharia Sitchin and William Bramley have arrived at a remarkable conclusion that the world’s affairs have been influenced by the belief of extraterrestrial gods or aliens.

Whether or not you are willing to admit that God is included in this is your prerogative, but a god does retain many of the attributes of the aliens we hear about and ancient texts tell us that they were with Adam and eve in the Garden of Eden as the creation story relates that many were to go down to earth to make mankind.

In the first chapter in Genesis, it is quite clear that the ancients believed that there was a plurality of beings that were in the Garden of Eden at the time mankind was to be created.

In the ancient Jewish Kabbalah, the book of Zohar speaks of a shimmering upright walking serpent race known as the Nachash that helped Adam and Eve multiply and replenish the Garden with human forms.

“Two beings [Adam and Nachash] had intercourse with Eve, and she conceived from both and bore two children. Each followed one of the male parents, and their spirits parted, one to this side and one to the other, and similarly their characters. On the side of Cain are all the haunts of the evil species; from the side of Abel comes a more merciful class, yet not wholly beneficial – good wine mixed with bad.” – Zohar 136

If we dismiss this as fantasy because there is no literal detail on how we arrived on this planet in a Bible, then why is it that every early culture beginning in the first and second centuries includes in their beliefs a rich tradition of beings that were not considered gods, angels or even demons?

They were the wise ones from above. They gave enlightenment to the people and much of what they revealed was eventually taught in the ancient secret schools. These beings were known to be higher intelligent beings that would descend from the skies in order to interact with mankind.

We know that UFO reports are even older than the Bible.

Somewhere, the information was garbled and changed. They were minimized as mythology when much of what happened is history told in a way that the people would be able to understand. The Bible is an example of a text that was a compendium of simple explanations for a more complex plan that was first initiated by ‘the watchers’ and the prophets who associated with them.

If we were to understand that rich histories that were recorded at the same time as the bible and that they are worth exploring, we may find that their most certainly is no missing link and that we were divinely jump started by custodial developers under the direction of a supreme creator.

Jehovah and Elohim were two different “gods”. Jehovah is a singular name that was the “creator force” and the Elohim are plural. The Elohim were most likely the custodial messengers or beings of light that would administer or police the Earth and its people.

By leap-frogging gradual evolutionary changes, mankind was perfected and groomed in order to be under the constant observation of the creator and that now – with the revelation of the abduction and contact phenomena – we understand that the custodians are still doing their thankless job of maintaining and servicing mankind without any thoughts or obligation of morality.

Simultaneous global evolution was necessary as human beings in certain locales needed to evolve and adapt to their surroundings. This is why in northern most parts of the world the skin of man was lighter and as we moved into more brighter and warmer climates the skin would darken.

The custodial beings that were with us all along created a variety and model of human in order for their own protection and confused their languages to also protect human beings as well.

“The B’nai Elohim saw the daughters of Adam, that they were fit extensions. And they took wives for themselves from all those that they chose…The Nephilim were in the earth in those days, and even afterwards when the B’nai Elohim came to the daughters of Adam, and they bore to them — they were Powerful Ones which existed from ancient times, the men of name.” – Hebrew translation and interpretation of Genesis Chapter 6

We hear about these beings and their relationship with mankind in the first four books of the bible. These beings were well known in the times of Enoch, Methuselah and Noah.

If we are to believe that the end times are allegedly similar to the times of Noah, then perhaps we should open up to the idea that the custodians that have been watching man for some time have arrived and their secret is being kept by leaders who are fully aware of their presence.

That is if these times are truly like the times of Noah.

We can go back to the times of antiquity and see that the custodial construction of man was somewhere between the hominid and the reptile. The breeding process that continued from Eden to the flood was literally a slow process of eliminating the beastly hominid in favor of a caring mammalian with base reptilian attributes.

Mental constructs of territory, tribe, and borders. However, there was a point where mankind had to receive the Promethean fire or – in the case of Clarke’s ’2001: A Space Odyssey’ – the time where the monkey touches the monolith.

Think about how Michelangleo’s Sistine Chapel painting shows Adam reaching to touch the hand of God or in the modern poster of ‘E.T.: The Extra-terrestrial’ where Elliot touches the glowing finger of the alien.

The metaphor is not lost on those who are aware and realize that there are more images and symbols that continually remind us that we are not alone and that we are all equal in the eyes of our creators and that differences would truly cease to exist if we were forced to confront those who made us or those who are observing us from a distance.

The secret of the true origins of man and his relationship with god and his minions most certainly is one of the things that keeps us bound to this planet and keeps our mental state in and out of superstition, myth and mystery.

MILITARY BOMBERS ENCOUNTER ALIEN DISC OVER UTAH

JULY 16, 1947    …….    SALT FLATS UTAH

I was a member of the United States Air Force at the time that I saw nine flying discs. I dutifully reported my sighting to the Operations Section at Travis Air Force Base as had been directed by the Senior Officer.  The pilot of our aircraft was also the officer in charge of the section that I was assigned to at the time. I was the Aircraft Distribution Officer of the Far East Air Materiel Command located in Fuchu, Japan in 1947.  I had a project to take B-17 aircraft from the theater to Middletown Air Depot, Pennsylvania to have them modified to be air rescue aircraft. This involves such modification to accommodate a lifeboat attached the bomb bay which could be dropped for rescue at sea. I was assigned to one of these trips to observe the modification process.  I became a passenger on the flight of a B-17 from Japan to the Middletown Air Depot. The crew picked up a modified B-17 aircraft (without the life boat) for return to Japan.   On that return flight I had positioned myself in the nose of the aircraft.

As we approached Promontory Point, Utah at 15:30 hours, 16 July, 1947, I noticed several objects rising from the Salt Flats. At first I thought they were big white birds but they were coming towards our aircraft at such great speed that I became alarmed.  However, in just a few moments they veered to the left of our aircraft, but close enough for me to identify them as nine round disks, approximately 40-60 feet in diameter with light blue  underbellies.  They were in what appeared to be a V formation of three, three, and three. They passed off the left wing of our aircraft in a climbing flight. I immediately made my way to the cockpit to advise the pilot of my sighting. He had not seen them. However, the flight engineer, Technical Sergeant GJH (name withheld), Serial Number AFxxxxxxxx, did see them and confirmed my sighting.  We only differed on one thing. T/SGT. H saw them as they were a little lower than our aircraft and he described the top of them as sand colored.  I had been in the Philippines Islands and Japan for approximately for 18 months and had not been aware of the UFO excitement in the States at that time. The weather over the sighting area was perfectly clear and there was no way that I could have been mistaken about what I had seen.  I talk about this event to my friends and others that want to listen to my experience. Since there is so much reaction to stories of such sightings, I have never gone beyond just telling about the event.  Also, I never had any further contact with T/SGT. H since he was assigned to a different organization than mine. I have kept the record of this event in my wallet all these years to make sure that the data was immediately available to me in the event someone wanted names and dates.  I also put a copy of the data in my personal strongbox for safe keeping.  There is one thing that I regret about this event. I had just purchased a movie camera with a telephoto lens while in the States on this trip, and had it right in front of me at the time, and I did not think enough to take pictures of the sighting.  However, on the other hand, the whole thing was over in just a few seconds and had I tried to take movies of it I may have missed the whole show. Amazing new revelations in George Washington’s war diary suggest that the Father of the Country pow-wowed with space aliens, thinking they were yet another tribe of exotic and remote Indians.

What set alarm bells ringing is a diary reference to a glowing round craft in the snowy woods behind Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, where the first commander- in-chief wintered with his bedraggled Continental Army.

DAYBOOK

Ironically the news comes from a British historian who may have access to captured documents that Americans have never seen.

Quentin Burde of Edinburgh believes he has several pages of the daybook the general dictated to his military secretary nearly every day.

“The rub is that just when things get really interesting, there’s a gap of a page or two,” says the independent Scots historian.

GLOWING GLOBE

But a reference to the glowing craft may clarify Washington’s later references to green-skinned Indians, or

“Greenskins,” as the commander sometimes called them.

“Until now, historians have assumed Washington was referring to a tribe that used green war paint,” says Burde, who specializes in researching points in history where he believes space aliens have intervened in human events.

Now Burde believes the Greenskins were space aliens who supplied Washington with wise advice, information about British troop movements and tactics, and perhaps even some superior technology that helped him win the war.

Whoever they were, Washington very much looked forward to his rare meetings with the Greenskins, who lived in a glowing globe in the woods.

“The usual interpretation is that the glowing globe was a rounded lodge made of animal skins that glowed from the firelight inside,” says Burde.

But Burde’s discovery of references to a “hovering” and “disappearing” globe leads him to believe the glowing lodge was really a spacecraft.

“It also is strange that sometimes the globe is behind Washington’s headquarters and sometimes it’s not,” notes Burde. “An Indian lodge is either there or it’s not. This thing came and went, which is entirely consistent with a spacecraft that pays occasional visits.”

Burde believes there is crucial evidence yet to surface, and he is scrambling to find the missing parts of the war diary. The pages were captured by the British and languished for years in an Edinburgh archive.

The diary’s importance was missed by historians when it did surface because it’s not in Washington’s handwriting.

Burde’s explanation for that is simple.

“Washington often dictated,” he claims. ” He had a military secretary, a Lt. Johnson, at the time and these pages are definitely in his hand.”

UNAWARE

Burde also believes Washington had no idea he was dealing with creatures from another planet. “He probably thought he was talking with an extremely talented Indian war chief, or a medicine man with powers bordering on the magical,” he says.

1. What lead and inspired you to create your new book entitled “The Ghost Rockets: Mystery Missiles and Phantom Projectiles in our Skies?”

I have a number of friends who work in various academic and government jobs who are fascinated with the unexplained, though most often from a more “critical” perspective like myself. Due to their role in government or the scientific community, they most often have to maintain a low profile (which is a whole different conversation we could have). Anyhow, one of these friends with a background in engineering and aerospace began looking into reports of rocket or missile-like UFOs following a report of a “rocket” seen near an airport in Glasgow last year, which turned out to be a toy balloon. What he found picqued my interest, and we began looking more deeply into the possibility that there are rocket (or rocket like) technologies buzzing around in our skies, which are presently unaccounted for. 

2. Could you go into what exactly mystery missiles and phantom projectiles are in your perspective?

It’s difficult to say, especially since the raw data is primarily the circumstantial witness reporting (although some of it is very good, like the reports I learned of that exist in NASA’s Aviation Safety Reporting System database, which is publicly available online). However, in modern usage, I think the closest fit for what we’re observing in such cases are some kind of drone technology, although at times they do appear to behave more like weaponized ballistic technology. Usually, a missile or rocket has a very specific purpose, and their appearances are generally expected to be accounted for by government agencies behind their launches. This doesn’t always seem to be the case, however, so far as what witnesses have described over the years, and this book gets into some of those cases.

3. So when did these events start to happen exactly as far as seeing these phantom projectiles? Is the point of origins right after World War 2?

The story about these “mystery missiles” goes back to 1946 in Sweden and other parts of Scandinavia, where immediately after WWII there were hundreds of reports of objects resembling rockets seen flying over the countryside during the summer months. The Swedish government formed a study group to determine their origin, and failed to muster any scientific data to account for them, and thus publicly issued a dismissal on the grounds that post-WWII paranoia may have been the contributing factor. But at least a few researchers on that panel, which some historians point out as the technically being first government UFO study group, have noted in years since that there did appear to be a technology of some sort that was operating in the skies over Sweden, which resembled more advanced cruise missile technologies of today. However, no such technology was known to have existed on par with what was seen in 1946, hence the use of the term “Ghost Rockets,” which I applied throughout the book in relation to similar reports that have continued around the world right up to the present day.

4. Are people seeing mystery missiles up to this day in the modern era and could you share a case with us?

Objects that are similar to the classic 1946 Ghost Rockets are still reported, and there have even been recent cases that emerged since the publication of my book! One that has made headlines was a case where a British pilot observed what he described as a bullet shaped object, similar to a “flying rugby ball,” flying dangerously close to his aircraft last summer. The altitude and behavior of the object he observed was inconsistent with most prosaic explanations, and while we could attempt to say he had simply been mistaken, toward the end of my book I recount a number of very similar cases to what occurred last summer over Europe. There have even been cases where aircraft at extremely high altitudes have managed to strike objects while in flight, resulting in dents on the nose-cone of the aircraft! Granted, implosion due to pressure changes at such altitudes, as well as rare instances where high-flying birds may have been unfortunate enough to have a collision with the radome of the plane, could account for at least some of these impacts.

5. Could you go into some of the Long Island cases with us from New York? 

I bring up the Long Island cases because of their proximity, both in location, and time frame, to the tragic TWA Flight 800 incident. There were a number of instances where witnesses including experienced commercial pilots leaving JFK International Airport reported seeing rockets or flares over Long Island Sound in the weeks before, and even after, the Flight 800 crash. Peter Davenport of the National UFO Reporting Center managed to retrieve a transcript of a dialogue between the crews aboard a Lufthansa and a British Airways flight as they spoke with operators at Boston ATC, as they observed a green “missile” flying above and adjacent to them while departing from JFK. The object obviously remained in the sky longer than a meteor, following what appeared to be a horizontal trajectory for a period of several minutes, and was observed from both aircraft as they travelled. This incident took place remarkably close to a number of others, some involving red or pink “flares” rising up from the ocean and moving dangerously near commercial aircraft. 

Now I’ll make an interesting observation here. In my book, I don’t directly suggest that TWA Flight 800 was taken down by a missile… I merely report what most other documentaries on this subject have not done, and that is that there were similar reports of flare-like objects seen over Long Island in the weeks and months before and after Flight 800 went down. Since the conventional explanation here is that the crash resulted from a spark in the center-wing fuel tank, I presume most modern skeptics would discount these cases, and further say that I’m doing “more harm than good” by presenting information that appears to steer the mind of the reader toward an alternative conclusion about the fate of TWA Flight 800. Some might even call that “pseuoscience.” However, I maintain that these cases described in the relevant chapter of my book are well documented, and as isolated incidents unto themselves, should be considered for the dangers they may have represented. And yes, the did occur in the same general vicinity of the TWA Flight 800 crash. Knowing this, which is more irresponsible: presenting well-documented data that may hold implications with regard to a terrible tragedy that occurred, or staunchly overlooking it out of concern that those implications, close to being contrary to the “official narrative,” will do more harm than good by promoting what some would call a conspiracy theory? I outline the official narrative in the book, but also present the facts regarding those other incidents that I simply don’t think many others have taken the time to examine. The data is right there for anyone to read, and I in no way think that presenting it is harmful, or in support of “conspiracy theories.” It’s simply a presentation of what I find to be factual data, to the best of my ability to discern.

6. What is one of your favorite cases involving phantom projectiles?

There is a case that took place in the Bahamas back in the 1980s, over an area called The Tongue of the Ocean (I have some satellite images in the book that show the region). In the 1980s, a pair of AUTEC employees on a night shift aboard a seabound vessel observed a pair of colored “rockets” glide overhead, traveling parallel to the ocean, as if on course to some destination. The observers found this to be extremely odd, as these “rockets” didn’t behave like weapons or ballistic missiles, but more like rocket-driven “drones” of some kind.

7. I have to wonder if some of these ghost rockets are people seeing future or past events from their now moments. Like a glimpse into the matrix so to speak where time suspends and they catch a glimmer of a rocket caught in a time flux. Any more insights into the phenomenon you can share?

In a strictly speculative sense, I’ve wondered about the temporal component in relation to UFO reports, which I discussed in my book The UFO Singularity. Again, many amidst my skeptical brethren out there disliked that book, because they felt it was too speculative (although I did source a wealth of scientific literature in doing so, for which a few others in academic circles, particularly mathematicians and microbiologists, issued a lot of praise). I state that this approach is speculative, but I don’t find speculating, at times, about observable phenomenon to always be “harmful.” It can be though, and in defense of the hard-line skeptics, I think that most of them are primarily concerned about the harmful things that pseudoscientific claims can often present. With the consideration of some phenomenon that may possess a temporal component, we’re merely considering what I’m sure an untold number of physicists have done as well… and without a valid time machine (or even a valid working model for how one would work), we’re all just speculating. But speculation, when carried out in a reasonable fashion, is sometimes a useful tool for getting our gears turning… and then it’s up to us to get back to looking for hard data that backs up those ideas, which then can be presented later, if proven, as scientific fact. So yes, I’ve wondered about what we might call “future technologies,” and I’ve written about those… with The Ghost Rockets, I’ve gotten back to documenting and critically analyzing data, which is quite a departure from my last book… and my readers have noticed, let me assure you! But most of the feedback has been good, all things considered. A few were upset that the book didn’t just go on ad-nauseum about the Scandinavian cases from 1946, but I state in the book that I’m applying the “Ghost Rocket” term across the board to similar reports that have occurred in decades leading up to the present day, and that plenty of exhaustive literature about the 1946 rocket wave already exists. I’m not a huge fan of just going out there and re-writing what other authors have already written, you know, and I feel there is a lot of “new” information this book presents for people interested in obscure reports of unexplained aerial phenomenon.

8. Have any other researchers gotten into this topic? Because from what I’ve seen you are the only one I’ve seen personally to tackle it.

As I had mentioned, a wealth of material exists that documents the old rocket reports from the 1940s. Jerome Clark wrote a lot about this, as well as Clas Svahn and Anders Liljegren, a pair of fine Swedish researchers on the subject. Svahn and Liljegren also documented at least a few of ongoing rocket reports that occurred throughout the 1960s, 70s and 80s; with the passage of time, new information about some of those has surfaced, as well as renewed scientific interest in solving them. As a result, I think I managed to flesh out a few of those incidents and bring a lot of new information to those, based on scientific investigations which, in a few cases, may detract from the “missile” theories related to those incidents. But as a researcher, one must attempt to be as thorough as possible, and of course, the aforementioned gentlemen did that at the time they had written about those cases. One of the important things about any area of study like this is to review the old literature and see what new concepts or emerging evidence might lend to it. Here, we’re fortunate to have science that we can often apply to several decades-old mysteries, which helps us to move closer to understanding them better, and in The Ghost Rockets, I think we are able to take a closer look at some of the unexplained missile reports from the past with a new, modern perspective.

9. What would you like to share from the book with us that our readers might find fascinating?

Simply put, these rocket reports represent a curious element within the context of UFO studies. There is that common misconception that UFO means “alien spaceship,” which I think is a ludicrous misunderstanding. UFO means, and has always meant “unidentified flying object.” There is some compelling data out there, but I don’t think any of it conclusively proves that we are dealing with extraterrestrial technologies. Therefore, to say that UFOs represent ET space vessels is a gross stretch in judgement; the possibility exists, but possibility alone does not constitute proof, and I maintain resolutely that we have yet to discover hard proof that alien visitors from other planets have arrived here on Earth. There are, however, a wealth of reports of flying objects of unknown origin, which seem to represent a highly sophisticated technology being employed; my first guess is that these would have to originate from here on Earth, but the problem, as we consistently see in the better reports of unexplained aerial phenomenon, is that these technologies, whatever they may be, appear at times to be so advanced that they border on the exotic or otherworldly. Still, appearance alone cannot be taken as “proof” of the otherworldly, no matter how badly any of us want that to be the case. The possibility remains, but it is merely one in a long list of complex possible solutions to what we call the “UFO” mystery.

10. What are you up to next book wise and any projects or news you’d like to share with us before we depart? Thanks.

I have about four or five ideas I’m working with as far as books, and I’ve been talking with my publishers, as well as looking at self-publishing alternatives, which both fascinate me from a technological and marketing standpoint, and also seem to represent the next wave of success in writing and publishing for driven entrepreneurs. So we’ll see what the future holds… and of course, if I’m lucky, I’ll continue to find intriguing data that I can write about as honestly as possible. If we can present good facts, we might one day be able to present a truly strong argument regarding these UFO things after all.

Bill Clinton asked aides to investigate aliens, UFO files

The 42nd President appeared on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ Wednesday where he spoke with the late-night host about alien life in the universe and how a visit from extraterrestrials could quell in-fighting in Washington.

Clinton is convinced that if aliens did visit Earth, bipartisan cooperation in Washington would be instantaneous.

Bill Clinton thinks we are not alone.

In an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Clinton said that when he was President, he actually asked aides to investigate what, if anything, the government knew about UFOs.

The search turned up no evidence of E.T. — but Clinton said he wouldn’t rule out that aliens exist.

“If we were visited someday I wouldn’t be surprised,” he said. “I just hope that it’s not like ‘Independence Day.’

The extraterrestrial topic was first brought up by talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, who said he would demand to see  any documents on UFOs if he became President.

The issue of extraterrestrial life came up when Kimmel declared that if he were to become President, he would immediately “demand to see all the classified files on the UFOs.”

“Did you do that?” Kimmel asked.

“Sort of,” Clinton smiled.

He said he asked for the review at the beginning of his second term, after “Independence Day” came out and as the 50th anniversary of an alleged UFO crash in Roswell, N.M., approached.

“First, I had people go look at the records on Area 51 to make sure there was no alien down there,” Clinton said, referring to the top-secret section of a Nevada Air Force base. “But there are no aliens there,” Clinton said.

“When the Roswell thing came up, I knew we’d get gazillions of letters, so I had all the Roswell papers reviewed, everything.”

While nothing was known about UFOs, Clinton said it is known that there are other planets out there that could possibly support life.

“If you saw that there were aliens there, would you tell us?” Kimmel asked.

“Yeah,” Clinton said, smiling.

“So, what do we know?” the former President continued on Wednesday night’s show.

“We know there are billions of stars and planets, literally, out there. And the universe is getting bigger,” he said. “In the last two years, more than 20 planets have been identified outside our solar system that seem to be far enough away from their suns and dense enough that they might be able to support some form of life, so it makes it increasingly less likely that we’re alone.”

Clinton joked that a visit by aliens might be “the only way to unite us in this incredibly divided” world. “If they’re out there, we better think of how all the differences among people on Earth would seem small if we felt threatened by a space invader. That’s the whole theory of ‘Independence Day.’ Everybody gets together and makes nice.”

Likelihood of alien life on Enceladus bolstered by confirmation of subsurface ocean

New evidence confirms what many scientists already suspected–a liquid water ocean exists beneath the icy surface of Saturn’s moon Enceladus.

In 2005, NASA’s Cassini spacecraft discovered water-rich plumes erupting from Enceladus’s south pole, leading researchers to believe the moon contained a subsurface ocean. And scientists feel that new data gathered by Cassini confirms this belief. Cassini measured the moon’s gravitational field, and in reviewing this data, scientists determined that Enceladus has more mass at its south pole than is superficially apparent. Scientific American explains, “Because liquid water is denser than ice, a buried ocean could contribute this hidden mass.”

This body of water in the moon’s southern hemisphere is reportedly as large or larger than Lake Superior in the United States, and is located on top of Enceladus’s rocky core at a depth of approximately thirty one miles.

Candice Hansen-Koharcheck, senior scientist with the Planetary Science Institute, told Discovery News, “There have been clues all along . . . But until you actually get this gravity data, it’s still kind of a circumstantial evidence-story. This is proof of the pudding.”

And Scientific American states that the presence of this ocean “boosts Enceladus’s ranking among the top places in the solar system to look for extraterrestrial life.” According to Cornell University planetary scientist Jonathan Lunine, “There are terrestrial organisms that would be perfectly comfortable in that environment . . . It makes the interior of Enceladus potentially a very attractive place to look for life.”

The Cassini spacecraft has three more scheduled targeted flybys of Enceladus to collect more data before it plunges into Saturn’s atmosphere.

Bill Clinton talks about UFOs and Area 51 again

Even though it is Jimmy Carter who famously had a UFO sighting, Bill Clinton seems to be the one who talks the most about them, and he is open to the idea of extraterrestrial visitation.  He has a long history of association with the UFO subject and Area 51 that spans back throughout his presidency.

UFO buffs, and reporters, where poised at their televisions last night, ready to find out if Jimmy Kimmel would keep his promise when the other night he said he would ask Clinton about UFOs when he came on the show. Kimmel kept his promise, and in typical Kimmel fashion, in a light hearted and funny way. However, he did get some interesting and heartfelt comments from the former president.

Kimmel brought up the subject by saying that if he were president he would immediately go find out about UFOs. He said, “I probably wouldn’t even finish the oath. I would run to the White House. I’d demand to see all of the classified files on the UFOs because I want to know. I want to know what has been going on. Did you do that?”

Clinton replied, “Sort of.”

Clinton said he began looking into it at the beginning of his second term, during the 50^th anniversary of the alleged Roswell UFO crash. Kimmel was surprised he waited so long. Clinton also said he looked into Area 51.

Clinton says there was a sci-si movie that about an alien being held in Area 51. So he says he first had people look into Area 51 to find out if there really was an alien down there. He says he found out it was a secret base, and that the people who worked there even had to wear special clothing, but that they were dealing with secret stealth technology, not aliens.

As for Roswell, he says he knew they were going to receive “zillions” of letters about it for the anniversary, so he had all of the Roswell papers reviewed. Clinton didn’t get into the results of that inquiry before Kimmel’s next question, but we do know from previous comments that Clinton says he found no evidence of aliens at Roswell either. More on the later…

As soon as Clinton mentioned he had the Roswell files reviewed, Kimmel asked, “If you saw that there were aliens there would you tell us?”

Clinton replied that he would, to which the crowd clapped. He then said:

What do we know now? We know we live in an ever expanding universe. We know that there are billions of stars and planets, literally, out there, and the universe is getting bigger. We know from our fancy telescopes that just in the last two years more than 20 planets have been identified outside of our solar system that seem to be far away enough from their suns and dense enough that they might be able to support some form of life. So, it makes it increasingly less likely that we are alone.

Kimmel suggested, “Oh, you are trying to give me a hint that there are aliens.”

Clinton replied, “No, I am trying to tell you I don’t know, but if we were visited some day I wouldn’t be surprised. I just hope it’s not like Independence Day the movie. “

Finally, Clinton embarked some sentiments, similar to those given by Reagan in the 80s and repeated several times, that if there was an alien threat that humans would need to unite and forget our petty difference. He noted that was the point behind the Independence Day movie.

Clinton’s UFO History

Clinton wasn’t kidding when he says he looked into UFOs during his presidency. In fact, a story that would make Kimmel proud was printed in a book by Clinton’s friend William Hubbell.

Hubbell was a friend of the Clintons from Arkansas, and was actually indicted for fraud in the Whitewater scandals. Before his indictment he was assigned to the Attorney General’s office as the Associate Attorney General. Hubbell wrote in his book Friends in High Places:

Clinton had said, ‘”If I put you over at Justice, I want you to find the answers to two questions for me,” Hubbell recounts. “One, who killed JFK. And two, are there UFOs?” Clinton was dead serious. I had looked into both, but wasn’t satisfied with the answers I was getting.

In a speech he gave in Belfast in Northern Ireland in 1995, Clinton brought up Roswell. He said, “I got a letter from 13-year-old Ryan from Belfast. Now, Ryan, if you’re out in the crowd tonight, here’s the answer to your question. No, as far as I know, an alien spacecraft did not crash in Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947. And, Ryan, if the United States Air Force did recover alien bodies, they didn’t tell me about it, either, and I want to know.”

Someone else who wanted to know was Laurence Rockefeller. Laurance, one of the Rockefeller heirs, worked diligently during Clinton’s administration to fund research into UFOs, and to get official government information released.

Laurance, who passed in 2004, was by no means a black sheep of the powerful Rockefeller family. He held a seat on the New York Stock Exchange, and was the founding trustee of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund for forty-two years. He was a venture capitalist who was involved with, among other things, the rise of the computer era. He helped shape history, and before he passed he wanted the public to be informed about UFOs.

Researcher Grant Cameron, who runs the website HillaryClintonUFO.net, was able to retrieve documents through the Freedom of Information Act that showed Rockefeller was soliciting help from Hillary’s staff on drafting a document to President Bill Clinton in 1995.  The title of the document was Lifting Secrecy on Information About Extraterrestrial Intelligence as Part of the Current Classification Review.

The Clintons never did publicly involve themselves with Rockefeller’s quest for UFO truth, but like he told Kimmel, Clinton did make his own inquiries. Another time when he discussed his Area 51 and Roswell investigation was after his presidency in Hong Kong in 2005.

Clinton took part in a Q and A session with an audience for CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets, a large independent equity broker and financial services group. The moderator asked Clinton if there was a list that was passed from president to president with a list of secrets like “’Where is Jimmie Hoffa?” and “What really happened at Roswell?” He added, “Is there something for us to look forward to that will be released that will make the National Inquirer required reading?”

Clinton chuckled, and although he wasn’t asked about it, his answer mostly referenced Area 51:

Well, I don’t know if you all remember this, but there was actually, when I was president in my second term, there was an anniversary observance of Roswell. You Remember that? People came to Roswell, New Mexico from all over the world. And, um… and there is also a site in Nevada where people were convinced that the government had buried a UFO and perhaps an alien deep underground, because we wouldn’t allow anybody to go there. And um… I can say now, because it has now been released into the public domain, I actually had so many people in my own administration convinced that Roswell was a fraud, but this place in Nevada was really serious, there was an alien artifact there. So, I actually sent someone there to figure it out, and it was actually just a secret defense installation, alas, doing boring work that we just didn’t want anybody else to see.

This wasn’t the first time Clinton referenced Area 51. He was forced to do so in 1994. Due to the burning of unknown chemicals at Area 51, several civilian contractors got sick and two of them died. Five of these employees, who remained unnamed, and the families of two of the deceased sued the US Air Force and the EPA in 1994.

The Air Force had a difficult time denying the existence of the base to the media, while at the same time acknowledging the law suit existed. Because of its secret nature, the Air Force said they could not reveal the chemicals that were being burnt at the base, and President Clinton reinforced this decision with a Presidential Determination which exempted “The Air Force’s Operating Location Near Groom Lake, Nevada” from environmental disclosure laws. Thus, the victims’ case was dismissed due to a lack of evidence. The determination requires being reviewed and renewed every year, and every president since Clinton has done so.

The determination did not include the name Area 51, because the name of the base was officially classified until recently. In fact, President Obama had the honor of being the first president to speak the name of the base. Clinton’s appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel may, in fact, be the first time he has uttered those words in public.

Clinton’s UFO Buddy

Johh Podesta was Bill Clinton’s chief of staff and aided in Obama’s transition into the White House in 2008, and is currently a White House advisor. He is also known to be a sci-fi enthusiast, and has been involved with efforts to get the government to disclose all it knows about the UFO phenomenon.

Podesta served on Clinton’s staff from 1993 until Clinton left office. His final position was as Clinton’s Chief of Staff. He has remained influential in politics through a liberal think tank that he founded called the Center for American Progress.

It has always been known that Podesta is a big sci-fi buff. He made headlines during his tenure in the White House when he had an X-files themed birthday party. He was especially keen on that TV series. For a man at his level to have an interest in sci-fi is not that unusual. However, the depth of his interest in UFOs was revealed when he spoke at a press conference at the National Press Club asking the government to release its secret files on UFOs so that scientists can determine the nature of the phenomena.

In 2002 the Coalition for the Freedom of Information headed by journalist Leslie Kean, along with the Sci-Fi channel (now SyFy), held a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. to address the issue of secrecy regarding the subject of UFOs. At that meeting Podesta stated, “It is time for the government to declassify records that are more than 25 years old, and to provide scientists with data that will assist in determining the real nature of this phenomenon.” He made this comment in front of several major media representatives in attendance. The video can be seen below.

Clinton by far, more than any other president, has demonstrated the biggest presidential interest in UFOs. Every time he has talked on the subject he has left open the possibility that there could be more to the subject than we know. It seems he has been open to the idea of alien visitation for some time, even before it was cool. And yes, it is now very cool to believe in aliens.

The former United States president appeared on Wednesday’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” He ended up discussing, among other things, extraterrestrial life.

Clinton admitted that soon after becoming president, he had his aides research Area 51, the Nevada military facility, “to make sure there was no alien down there.” He was also interested in Roswell, N.M., the site of a reputed UFO sighting in 1947, which was celebrating its 50th anniversary during Clinton’s presidency.

“I had all the Roswell papers reviewed – everything,” he told Kimmel.

“If you saw that there were aliens there, would you tell us?” Kimmel asked.

“Yeah,” Clinton said, nodding.

Given the size of the universe, and the continued discovery of new planets, Clinton believes we’re not alone.

“If we were visited someday I wouldn’t be surprised,” Clinton said. “I just hope it’s not like ‘Independence Day.’”

Clinton went on to discuss some of the potential benefits to an alien invasion, framing his argument around the 1996 sci-fi disaster movie.

“It may be the only way to unite this increasingly divided world of ours … think about all the differences among people of Earth would seem small if we feel threatened by a space invader,” Clinton said.

The Philip Experiment – Conjuring a ‘Thought-Form’

We’ve all been there — you freak yourself out telling stories or watching a horror movie and all of a sudden you’re seeing poltergeists everywhere. But what about people who have actually caused paranormal phenomena to happen, with just the power of their brains?

One of the most famous explorations of the link between the paranormal and the mind is The Philip experiment, which tested a group’s ability to “create a ghost” from a fictional narrative. These experiments have informed much of modern parapsychology, even making it into cinema. In The Quiet Ones, a group of psychology students perform experiments inspired by The Philip Experiment on a young girl, Jane Harper, who harbors unspeakable secrets, resulting in a truly terrify outcome. I looked at The Philip Experiment and spoke with a psychiatrist about whether or not telekinesis and other paranormal phenomena can be explained using what we know about the human brain.

The Philip Experiment

In the early 1970s, a group of parapsychological researchers — known as The Owen Group — from the Toronto Society for Psychical Research decided to test the theory that paranormal visitations are merely a product of the human mind by seeing if they could use their collective fear and belief to create a spirit, named Philip, and force it to manifest.

The group began by envisioning a history for Philip — they even drew his portrait. They then spent an entire year discussing Philip, meditating on his image and willing him to appear to them. In 1973, during a traditional spiritualist séance in which members placed their hands on a table and spoke and sang to Philip, he began to communicate. He began by rapping on the table, answering questions related to the history that they had created for him, and also correctly answering questions outside of his own mythology, but still within the collective knowledge of the group.

Telekinetic happenings were reported, such as the lights dimming when the group would request Philip lower them. The Philip experiment worked so well that the Owen group took him to the small screen — filming a séance in front of a live audience of fifty people, during which the table reportedly levitated. Iris Owen and Margaret Sparrow, both members of The Owen Group, also wrote a book about the experiment, called Conjuring Up Philip.

Evidence of the Paranormal?

Some saw the Philip experiment as proof that people can, with enough will power, connect with a spiritual or paranormal world, while others saw the test as proof human consciousness creates such experiences. I spoke with psychiatrist Dr. Robert Stein, about what he thinks links the paranormal and the human mind.

“What I don’t believe is that there are people hanging around in the ether waiting to talk to us,” he began, but went on to say that it’s not as simple as saying that these things are hoaxes, or that everyone who claims to have had a paranormal experience is a fraud. Citing the frequency of simultaneous scientific discovery, and the phenomena of mass hysteria, Stein suggests that group experiences of the supernatural are either the result group projection or products of the fact that human energy — specifically ideas — are more tangible than we think.

“There is no reason to think that ideas travel any differently than, say, radio waves,” he said. The same way radio waves can cross great distances, perhaps brain waves can pass through the air, creating physical, telekinetic changes in the environment and shared understanding. “There are so many examples of people around the world coming to the same conclusion at exactly the same time, it’s possible that the mind is more powerful than we think.”

With this in mind, there are two possible explanations for the Philip Experiment’s success: either the participants were so wrapped up in their fantasy that they interpreted everyday phenomena to support their desire for a paranormal encounter, or they were actually creating a change in their environment with their brain waves. There’s also a third option: that the whole thing was a hoax.

Another ‘Chupacabras’

Jackie Stock and her husband Arlen Parma caught a strange hairless animal at their home in Ratcliffe.

The couple encountered the creature, a dark skinned hairless dog-like animal, after Parma spotted it outside on their property in Texas. “He called me to come and look, and I said ‘Bubba that looks like a baby chupacabra,’” said Stock.

Local news agencies were quick to pick up on the story with headlines suggesting that the enigmatic critter was in fact the legendary chupacabra, a carnivorous quadruped said to be responsible for a spate of farm animal deaths over the last few decades.

This isn’t the first case of its kind either – there have been several reports of both dead and captured chupacabra over the years. Most of these however have turned out to be more mundane animals suffering from mange, a condition that sees their fur falling out resulting in an unusual appearance.

It is thought that the creature in this case, far from being the goat-sucking predator, could in fact be little more than a hairless raccoon or possum suffering from the condition.

Eight-Year-Old Exorcist ‘Saving Brazilian Slums’

On the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro the eight-year-old daughter of a pastor is giving hope to believers in places where poverty is rife.

In the slums of San Gonzalo, people flock to a small church where Alani Santos claims to exorcise demons and cure the sick.

“When the little missionary touches you, something will happen. You will be cured,” says her pastor father.

Exorcism in the poorer parts of Brazil has always formed part of Christian life, but Pentecostalism is on the rise with more churches promising a direct experience of the presence of God. In some ways, Alani is becoming the face of God to those seeking her help.

Describing how she helps people, Alani tells Vocativ: “A lot of the time I touch people, sometimes I just pray and worship and the person is cured.”

Asked what the most emotional part of the services she does is, Alani says: “It’s the part when I pray and God performs miracles, my dad interviews people and they say they’ve been cured. That’s very pleasing to see.”

She also describes the immense privilege she feels to be able to help people.

Alani also preaches herself. At one service she says, with her audience repeating: “I have faith that I will receive my miracle. My enemy has been defeated. I know you’re going through this struggle, you have to have faith because it’s only getting worse. That’s because victory is coming, all you need to do is have faith and seek Jesus Lord.”

Members of her congregation claim that she helped cure a man of HIV after seven years. In the video we also see her touch the forehead of a man who then collapses to the ground crying. – IB Times

Bill Clinton thinks we might not be alone.

 In an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday, the former president said he wouldn’t be surprised if we were visited by aliens one day. 

‘We know now we live in an ever-expanding universe,’ Clinton told Kimmel. ‘We know there are billions of stars and planets literally out there – and the universe is getting bigger.

‘We know from our fancy telescopes that just in the last two years more than 20 planets have been identified outside our solar system that seem to be far enough away from their suns – and dense enough – that they might be able to support some form of life.’

He added: ‘So it makes it increasing less likely that we’re alone.’

But when Kimmel pushed on whether there actually are aliens, Clinton responded: ‘I’m trying to tell you I don’t know.’

‘But if we were visited some day, I wouldn’t be surprised,’ he added. ‘I just hope that it’s not like Independence Day, the movie – that it’s, you know, a conflict.’

Clinton assured Kimmel that soon after he became president, he instructed his aides to research Area 51, the Nevada military facility, to make sure there were no aliens there.

He also had the Roswell papers – which detailed a reputed UFO sighting in 1947 – reviewed.

He said that while he had no evidence of aliens, he said that their existence could have surprising benefits for the world.

‘It may be the only way to unite this increasingly divided world of ours… think about all the differences among people of Earth would seem small if we feel threatened by a space invader,’ Clinton said.

‘That’s the whole theory of Independence Day. Everybody gets together and makes nice.’

Entire Family Alien UFO Encounter Evidence Deteriorates On Way To Lab

On the evening of 20th January, 1988, Sean Knowles was driving his mother, Faye, brothers Patrick and Wayne ands radio suddenly began to malfunction. At 1.45 a.m. Sean spotted what he presumed to be a truck with only one headlight working up ahead.

As it approached, however, he could see that there was a strange ball of light hovering above the truck, which was now driving erratically on the wrong side of the road. Realizing he was in danger of a collision, Sean quickly swerved narrowly missing the wayward truck.

Not long after, another car passed the Knowles’, with what appeared to be the same bright light travelling above it. Perplexed, Sean turned the car around to follow the glowing object, but before long, the ball of light had doubled back again and was, this time, in pursuit of Sean’s car. Everyone in the car was thrown into a state of panic as Faye and the children screamed at Sean to get out of there fast. Sean tried to turn the car once more, but it was to late, the object had already caught them up and landed with a thump on top of the car.

Bright beams of light filled the inside of the car. Patrick, who was sitting in the front passenger seat, felt as if his ‘brains were being sucked out of his head’. The dogs were going crazy and everyone in the car thought they were going to die. What Sean thought initially was the movement of the car going forward at 200kmph, was in fact the car being drawn up into the air by the object. Faye, who was in the back seat, opened the window and actually touch the object. She felt something which was warm and spongy, like some sort of suction pad. Recoiling violently, she became hysterical and began to scream. When she pulled her hand back in, it was red, swollen and cold. Patrick, in the front seat, rolled his window down only to engulf the inside of the car with a black, ash-like substance and a smell which smelt like ‘decomposing bodies’.

The family’s voices became distorted, sounding as if they were talking in slow motion, and their hair stood on end. Then, suddenly, the car dropped back down to the ground, bursting one of the rear tyres. It was not until this point that Sean realised the car had been in the air. After regaining control of the vehicle, Sean managed to stop the car, enabling the family to exit the car and run for cover in some nearby bushes.

They watched petrified as the object, which resembled ‘an egg in a cup’ hovered above them. Emitting an electrical humming sound, the craft circled around in the sky above while beaming a searchlight down on to the ground, as if looking for them. Eventually, to their relief, the craft disappeared. For around 15 minutes afterwards, their voices remained distorted while they desperately tried to change the tyre. Then to their horror and surprise, the craft returned.

The family quickly jumped into the car and drove towards the Mundrabilla Roadhouse, some 40km away, as this was the closest inhabited building to them. In Sean’s frantic attempt to get to the Roadhouse, they clipped a kangaroo on the way, badly denting the car, but this didn’t stop them driving at a frantic pace until the service station was in sight. It was at this point that the craft disappeared out of site. On arrival at the Mundrabilla Roadhouse, the family, visibly shaken, reported their encounter to two truck drivers. An attendant at the station said ‘I thought at first they were trying to be funny, they were excited and scared. When I got near to the car, I noticed an odour which smelt similar to hot insulation’. Faye’s hand was still swollen and the dogs had began to lose clumps of hair.

A thorough investigation was carried out by the Victorian UFO Research Society (VUFORS). Samples of the dust which entered the car were sent to a NASA-related laboratory in California for analysis. The results showed that the dust was made up of oxygen, carbon, silicon, potassium and, more unusually, a trace of astatine, which is a radioactive chemical produced synthetically. Its half-life is only a few hours and so, in normal circumstances, even the smallest trace of this element would have long since deteriorated by the time the investigation was underway. However, when magnified 5,000 times, some of the particles exhibited signs of potential radiation, which would help to explain Faye’s swollen hand.

Event: Two teenage girls were standing outside waiting a ride. One of the girls was visiting her friend who lived in a wooded area. They were in a conversation when both observed something that they would never forget. Coming across the road and toward a nearby wooded area was a 7 to 8 foot tall Bigfoot-type creature, which was covered in white fur. What was even stranger was the fact that this tall creature was carrying a luminescent sphere in one hand. The girls also noted the creatures eyes were brownish-red. Quite shaken the girls ran back to the home and told the father of one girls of what they had seen. The father owned this particular wooded area that the creature was seen to enter. He entered these very woods a short time later to investigate. It was noted by the girls that he was gone over an hour, and while he was down in the woods the girls observed an object move across the sky and projected a beam of light into the same woods! The father returned and seemed to be acting unusual in his manner and told them the encounter “was something not to be discussed” and “he didn’t want anyone tramping around in his woods.” He later told a UFO Field Investigator that he did not wish to talk about the incident, the missing time, and wanted no one looking around in his woods.

The Monumental Baalbek – The largest building blocks on Earth

In Lebanon, at an altitude of approximately 1,170 meters in Beqaa valley stands the famous Baalbek or known in Roman times as Heliopolis. Baalbek is an ancient site that has been used since the Bronze Age with a history of at least 9,000 years, according to evidence found during the German archaeological expedition in 1898.

Baalbek was an ancient Phoenician city that was named by the name of the sky God Baal. The name ‘Baal’ in the Phoenician language meant ‘lord’ or ‘god’. Legends abound around Baalbek with some of them mentioning that Baalbek was the place where Baal first arrived on Earth and thus ancient alien theorists suggest that the initial building was probably built as a platform to be used for sky God Baal to ‘land’ and ‘take off’.

Part of this suggestion is because Heliopolis was built on a massive platform that probably was built in pre-roman times for the initial temple or city of Baal - Baalbek. If you look at the picture it becomes obvious that different civilizations have built different parts of what is now known as Heliopolis. However beyond theories, the actual purpose of this structure as well as who has built it are completely unknown. Massive stone blocks have been used with the largest of the stones to be approximately 1,500 tons and a size of 68x14x14 feet. Those are the largest building blocks that have ever existed in the whole world.

The way that those stones were cut and moved has fascinated researchers for many years now. Because of the existence of ancient texts referring to Baalbek as a landing place the speculations about pre-existing advanced civilizations that we do not know about, as well as alien intervention, have flourished. We need to make clear that those stones are not made by the Romans as many debunkers try to propose. However even if we could hypothesize that it was Romans that did built the whole site including the platform, even Romans with their advanced technology while they could probably explain how the smaller stones of 2 to 3 tons could be cut and moved it WOULDN’T explain how they could cut and move 1,500 tons blocks.

It is possible that the platform below the Heliopolis was built as the base of another older temple that probably the Egyptians or the Romans destroyed to build Heliopolis (a name given by Alexander the Great when he conquered the area). The area was previously used also by the Egyptians to worship Ra. Which makes you wonder why they would build another temple on the same place and multiple civilizations use the same exact spot, unless that place was important for some reason. It is also interesting to mention that in Heliopolis Baal was also worshiped as well as other Greek and Roman Gods. Over the ruins of the pre-roman site a massive temple of Jupiter, the largest temple of its kind, as well as smaller temples for Venus and Mercury were built by the Romans.

The quarry that was used was situated about ¼ mile away from the area. So not only did they transfer those massive stones that distance but they also placed them together in such a precise way that not a sheet of paper can fit between the stones. That is another point that the debunkers fail to reply to – even if the stones were carried in the ways they suggest, how could they place rectangle stone blocks in such a precise way next to each other?

Another interesting point is that if the Romans/Greeks have built such a massive platform why there is no reference at all as to how that was built since it is the only place in the world (and consequently in the Roman Empire) that such a monumental work has been done.

In another context, biblical archaeologists have connected Baalbek to Baalgad that is mentioned in the Bible.

So Joshua took all that land, the hill country and all the Negeb and all the land of Goshen and the lowland and the Arabah and the hill country of Israel and its lowland from Mount Halak, which rises toward Seir, as far as Baal-gad in the Valley of Lebanon below Mount Hermon. And he captured all their kings and struck them and put them to death. Joshua 11:16-11:17

Although not all archaeologists agree with that theory, it is obvious that there are huge similarities between a) the Baal-gad, a sanctuary of Baal and b) Baalbek also a temple for Baal according to the legends (before it was named Heliopolis and new temples were built) and both in the same area in LEBANON.

In the Bible there is another name that appears related to Baal, which is Baalath, a town of the tribe of Dan, which was fortified by King Solomon in 970 BC where again Baal was worshiped with the permission of Solomon. It is worth mentioning here that even in the temple of Solomon, Baal was a deity that was allowed to be worshiped in the temple.

And Baalath, and all the store cities that Solomon had, and all the chariot cities, and the cities of the horsemen, and all that Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and throughout all the land of his dominion. Chronicles 8:6

It has become obvious that Baalbek is a mysterious ancient city, used for thousands of years by many different civilizations. The Phoenicians, the Egyptians, the Greeks and the Romans all of them used it and all of them worshiped Baal. The origins are unknown and why the site was so important is also unknown. What is for sure is that the initial site wasn’t constructed by Romans, and before the Romans there was no known civilization that would have the technology to build such a massive monument. It makes sense that somehow they got the technology to do it and somehow Baal is related to that. The debunkers have not provided sufficient answers and the possibility of advanced civilizations being responsible for it, as mentioned in myths and legends, seems closer to reality.

Huge UFO Seen Over Chile Prior To Quakes!

New Fox reality TV show searching for UFO and paranormal enthusiast

Fox TV is casting for a new reality TV show called Utopia, and they want to include a UFO and paranormal enthusiast. However, on this show cast members are expected to spend a year in an isolated area attempting to build their ideal utopian society from scratch.

A representative from Fox says, “We need people from all walks of life and skill sets to contribute to this new community being founded,” and they emailed us at Open Minds specifically because they feel our blog followers have what it takes. More specifically it is because we write about UFOs and stuff, and they want someone who is into that sort of thing.

Cameras will follow cast members all day and night as they try to get along with other cast members and work together to build the community, and of course you can be voted out. The cast will hold a vote on each show to replace one cast member with a new person,

John de Mol

The show was created by John de Mol, known for producing other successful reality shows, such as Big Brother, Deal or no Deal, Fear Factor, and The Voice. He says when they say start from scratch, they mean it, “If these people don’t work, there is no food, they will be starving.”

De Mol  says, “it is the opportunity for 15 people to create a better society than the one we live in right now.”

Not only will footage of the cast members be shown on the weekly program, viewers will also have the opportunity to peak in on the cast online. The show will incorporate real-time viewer feedback, making the community an interactive experience for viewers.

In order to apply candidates are being asked to submit a video and a photo along with their online application. Candidates must be 21 or older, a U.S. citizen, and willing and able to be away from family and friends for up to 1 year.

Are you read to represent the UFO and paranormal community on a reality TV show?
