Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

SUPPUTATIONS. En arrivant sur le site martien baptisé "Kimberley", le rover Curiosity a pris cette image sur le 3 avril. Arrivée sur Terre, elle y a fait un joli effet : comment expliquer le point lumineux qui éclaire l'horizon de la planète rouge ? Les chasseurs d'OVNI y ont vu la preuve d'une vie extraterrestre,"utilisant la lumière comme nous". Les supputations allaient bon train, d'autant plus que la Nasa n'avait pas officiellement commenté l'image...
C'est désormais chose faite, l'Agence spatiale américaine venant de publier un communiqué. Qui confirme le tweet de l'ingénieur Doug Ellison du Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) : cette lumière a sans doute été produite par un rayon cosmique ayant frappé le capteur de la caméra de Curiosity à l'origine de l'image. La Nasa évoque néanmoins une seconde hypothèse : qu'il s'agisse d'un reflet de la lumière du Soleil sur une roche martienne...

Een vrouw uit East Grinstead in het Engelse graafschap West Sussex stelt dat mensen die onder vliegroutes wonen, worden vergiftigd vanuit de lucht. Barbara Craig (53) meent dat vliegtuigen worden gebruikt om schadelijke chemicaliën in de lucht te brengen in een poging het weer te manipuleren.
Craig beweert dat er een duidelijk onderscheid kan worden gemaakt tussen chemtrails en condenssporen die worden achtergelaten door vliegtuigen, zogeheten contrails. De 53-jarige lerares zei: “De chemicaliën kunnen een wit of zwart spoor achterlaten. Als verschillende vliegtuigen op hetzelfde moment onder dezelfde weersomstandigheden vliegen en sommige toestellen laten wel sporen achter en andere niet, dan weet je gelijk waar de chemtrails hangen.”
Als schilder houdt Craig de lucht nauwgezet in de gaten. Ze woont inmiddels ruim 30 jaar in Engeland en heeft het wolkendek in die periode drastisch zien veranderen. Actiegroep Look Up is van mening dat overheden overal ter wereld aan weermanipulatie doen, ook wel geo-engineering geheten. Over het doel van de chemtrails zijn de meningen nog altijd verdeeld.
“Er worden zeker experimenten gedaan,” zei de van oorsprong Canadese Craig. “Ze gebruiken HAARP om de atmosfeer op te warmen en sproeien zonder medeweten van de bevolking aerosolen. De overheid doet dit om zonnestralen tegen te houden, maar hoe kun je klimaatverandering tegengaan door giftige stoffen te gebruiken die in onze bodem en ons regenwater terechtkomen? We moeten samenwerken met de aarde en niet een eigen systeem opdringen.”
“Toen ik in Italië lesgaf merkte ik dat kinderen ziek waren op dagen dat er gesproeid werd,” ging ze verder. “Een vriend van me uit Brighton geeft ook les en hij zei hetzelfde.” Volgens Craig en anderen worden de chemtrails gesproeid door nietsvermoedende piloten die vanaf Heathrow en Gatwick vliegen.
Een woordvoerder van de Britse burgerluchtvaartautoriteit deed de chemtrails af als complete nonsens. “Mensen geloven al decennia in deze mythe, maar het is complete nonsens. Er is absoluut geen bewijs voor,” zei hij. “Piloten zijn ook mensen met gezinnen. Waarom zouden zij in zoiets verwikkeld raken?”
Afgelopen vrijdagmiddag heeft een inwoner van Maassluis een ongeïdentificeerd vliegend object gefilmd. Dat meldt RTV Rijnmond. Het onbekende object was een kwartier goed zichtbaar boven de Botlek. De UFO heeft een blauwe kleur, maakt geen hoorbare geluiden en hangt lange tijd stil. Uiteindelijk verdwijnt het object in de wolken.
Toen Dick Smits de beelden in slow-motion afspeelde, meende hij nog meer objecten te zien. “Er schoot iets vanaf de tweede kraan van links naar rechts keihard omhoog,” zei hij.
Bij het UFO Meldpunt Nederland zijn volgens de omroep nog nauwelijks meldingen binnengekomen, terwijl het object vrijdag toch ruim een kwartier boven de omgeving van Brielle en Ouddorp heeft gehangen.
“Het is moeilijk te zeggen wat dit is geweest, het zou een UFO kunnen zijn,” aldus Smits. “Ik geloof wel in buitenaards leven. Ik denk wel dat er meer is. Dit is maar een klein planeetje.”

Deze zwarte ring zet meteorologen en UFO-experts in Groot-Brittannië voor een groot raadsel. Georgina Heap (16) uit Warwick kon het bizarre fenomeen vrijdagavond filmen, terwijl ze buiten aan het tennissen was met haar moeder. Amper drie minuten lang was het te zien, waarna het plots verdween. "We waren met zo'n tien mensen en stopten allemaal met wat we aan het doen waren om te kijken. Het is het vreemdste ding dat ik ooit gezien heb", zei de tiener aan The Mirror.
Hoewel de ring op rook lijkt, was er volgens de lokale brandweer geen enkel brandje in de buurt op dat moment. Ook meteorologen lieten weten dat er geen abnormale weersomstandigheden werden vastgesteld. Volgens een UFO-expert die de overheid vaak adviseert, zou de ring mogelijk uit insecten kunnen bestaan. "Het zou om miljoenen bijen of insecten kunnen gaan, maar ik heb er nog nooit van gehoord dat ze zich zo groeperen", klinkt het.

According to the Daily Mirror, 16-year-old Georgina was playing tennis with her mom when she saw the UFO moving past. The pair saw a clearly defined black circle which looked like a giant smoke ring. The UFO hovered for three minutes before it disappeared. Georgina said she looked up and thought “what the hell. It was just floating there like a cloud and then it disappeared. It wasn’t birds either. There were about ten of us who stopped what we were doing and watched. It is the weirdest thing I have ever seen.”
The video below of the UFO shows the object over a tree, but end before the UFO disappears, which would have been helpful to see to determine if its a smoke ring or UFO cloaking. SCW
“A similar UFO was recorded by some US solders in Sept 1957 at Fort Belvior, Virginia. Private Stone remembered his Kodak Brownie camera which was in his car. He ran over to the car, which was parked nearby, grabbed the camera and took six pictures in fairly rapid sequence. On all Friday all Saints Days, Jose Espinoza got up early in order to arrange some sugar cane carts, which he had left in the fields in order to work on them later. Ignoring his mother’s his mother’s pleas not to go out on such a Holy day because the “Devil himself was out doing his work on this day” Jose headed out to the carts. Soon after climbing on the first cart he began his labors, suddenly he noticed standing on the last cart (there were four carts) a little man, only about one foot and a half in height, fiery red in color, emitting sparks from “horn like protrusions and a tail”. The little man noticed the stunned Jose and produced a small ball of fire which he flung at Jose, he repeated this several times; rolling several balls of fire at Jose, each ball was bigger than the last. Jose barely managed to avoid the fiery spheres, and could not further react to the situation. Finally he reacted and screamed with all his might, “this is the devil!”, and quickly jumped from the cart, running towards his house without stopping.

A local woman, Mariyka (Mary) living in a local village near the River Uzh had gone into the forest to fetch some firewood. Some time after that amazed villagers saw her running from the forest emitting terrible screams, “Oh bad trouble, Trouble! Help me, …help me!” All her clothes were torn to rags and she was apparently injured, bleeding and with numerous bruises. She then fell to the ground and began to tremble as if in a fever induced seizure. He relatives and neighbors gathered around her then heard her mention something about a “white ape” that had attacked her and evidently raped her. Mariyka constantly repeated, “White ape, white ape”. Despite attempts to make her give additional information as to what had happened, all she could do was stutter and stammer, showing evidence of shock. As her conditioned worsened, an elderly local woman, a known healer was call to assist her, but she could not help her either but did manage to interrogate her. But all the unfortunate Mariyka could say was that she had met a strange bipedal white hairy ape that had attacked her. The villagers decided that she had met the devil. Mariyka died 2 months after her strange and unfortunate encounter. Remarkably the elderly healer was also found dead, strangled in her home, and the doors of her wooded house torn open. Shortly before the incident local villagers had observed strange sparkling round objects flying low over the elderly healer’s house. Local militia and then possibly NKVD (secret police) units arrived at the village to conduct an investigation, but the frightened villagers of the previous Hungarian territory seized by the Soviet Army in 1944 did not cooperate.

A 27-year old trucker driving on the outskirts of Santiponce observed a tall thin figure step out into the middle of the road. He was forced to reduce his speed as he watched the figure, thinking at first that it was a “naked man”. But as the headlights illuminated the figure the witness realized that it was not human. It had a large egg shaped head and long dangling arms. The humanoid remained unmoving in the… middle of the road gesticulating briefly with his arms as if ordering the truck to stop. Scared, the witness accelerated the truck and headed straight towards the strange individual. As he neared the two-meter tall figure he noticed that it appeared to be completely covered in a shiny tight-fitting suit. The figure suddenly jumped head first into a group of small trees on the side of the road using inhuman agility. Terrified the witness drove quickly away and did not see the bizarre creature again.

Open Minds UFO Radio: Thomas Reed and his brother began experiencing strange events in the 1960s, beginning with a UFO encounter. Some of their encounters were witnessed by others and investigated by UFO researcher J. Allen Hynek, who was an astronomer and consultant for the Air Force on the subject of UFOs. The Reed brothers’ encounters include memories of being taken by strange creatures and examined. They describe ant people and strange looking humanoids. Although Reed still does not know what really may have happened, he believes at least some of his encounters had something to do with extraterrestrials. In this show we talk to Thom about his encounters and the physical evidence found by investigators.
A second new rib is a report on some empirical research of my own, the Peters ETI Religious Crisis Survey. I asked people who self-identify as religious or non-religious to answer questions regarding the potential impact of confirmed contact with ETI. I wanted to test the widespread assumption that contact with ETI would precipitate a crisis for religious people, perhaps even destroying traditional religion. I'll share my data and my conclusions.
I'm well aware that the extraterrestrial hypothesis is not the only hypothesis for explaining the UFO phenomenon. Yet, it is the one that interests me here. As I see it, space consciousness is built right into the phenomenon. A phenomenon includes both the object and the subject, both unidentified object and the subject's attempt to interpret it. The extraterrestrial interpretation is virtually co-present to any facts or data having to do with flying saucers. The meaning of the UFO is as important to me as any facts associated with the UFO. To a certain degree, UFOs–God's Chariots? is a study of human meaning in light of a scientized worldview.
New UFO Theologies are Developing
On the one hand, religious sensibilities surface in UFO lore in disguised form, in the form of a secularized religion. On the other hand, actual UFO theologies are appearing in an almost undisguised form. UFO generated theologies come in two varieties: ancient alien theology and contactee theology. I stress: these are secular theologies. They belong to no church. UFO theologies appeal to those who are Spiritual But Not Religious, the SBNRs. Curiously, UFO theology may not even look like traditional theology. It looks more like science. But, what appears to be UFO science has become a vehicle for expressing displaced religious or spiritual hopes.
Our Ancient Astronaut Theorists offer reinterpretations of ancient phenomena. They reinterpret the texts of the Bible and other sacred literature. They look again at ancient marvels such as the pyramids, statuary, and petroglyphs. They hypothesize that human contact with visitors from space better account for what happened than claims about gods. Rather than supernatural intervention, our ancestors allegedly experienced super-technological intervention. Extraterrestrial geneticists allegedly jump-started human evolution and initiated progress in terrestrial science and technology. What we have at work here in ancient astronaut theory is a theology without the divine, a secular theology that accounts for both creation and providence.
Contactee theology does not represent a rival sect; rather, it offers a complementary set of doctrines. Like ancient astronaut theory, the contactees believe in evolution and rely upon an apparently scientific assumption: if extraterrestrials are older than earthlings and have evolved longer, then they are more advanced than we in science, technology, medicine, politics, morality, and even religion. Where ETI are now is where we will be in the future, where we will be if we progress in our evolution. Visitors from space represent our own future, arriving ahead of time. This implies that visiting ufonauts have the technical capacity for solving difficult problems on our planet. The two most difficult of these problems are the threat of nuclear war and the threat of ecological catastrophe. Our more advanced space benefactors offer us world peace and environmental rescue. In short, contactee theology projects salvation coming from the skies in the form of technologically advanced UFOs.
I ask: why are some people expressing such an interest in the connection of religious doctrines with UFOs? I suggest that the study of UFOs has the appearance of being scientific–hence, it offers the opportunity to discuss religious feelings in seemingly scientific terms. Whether we say it in public or not, many of us believe science is good and religion is bad. Science is for modern educated people; religion is for old-fashioned superstitious people. We feel a little embarrassed when we have a religious feeling, as if we were being subverted from within by a pre-civilized emotion. If only we could feel that our religious beliefs had the respectability and credibility of science! Then we could have confidence in what we believe. I suggest that the ancient astronaut theory and contactee theologies offer us an ostensibly respectable way of talking about our deeper spiritual needs. Our religious feelings urge us to ponder the ultimate heights and depths of our spiritual reality. If we are compelled to translate our spiritual concerns into naturalistic or scientific terms, then we need nothing short of the infinity of the stars to capture our speculations. A UFO theology can do this for us.
But, I ask: are UFO theologies healthy? Or, do they risk drawing us into idolatry? The potential idol here is technological progress. Whether advances in science or technology take place on Earth or on another planet, to trust in technology for human salvation is to build one's house on sand. No amount of evolutionary advance or technological progress can save the human race from our own propensity for self-destructive behavior. If anything, progress in technology becomes progress in the scope of our destructive potential. Our salvation is to be found only in a God of grace. To place our trust for planetary deliverance in advanced technology–whether terrestrial or extraterrestrial technology–is to trust a deity that cannot deliver.
Despite my prophetic warning, I must admit that UFOs have a powerful way of drawing out our spiritual sensibilities in masked form, even when we believe ourselves to be no longer religious. Each one of us has a deep spiritual need to be at one with our creator and source of life. Thoughts about planetary self-destruction and death create anxiety. When destruction and death seem inevitable, we begin to ask for God's hand to save us. If we are convinced we are not religious, we may ask the government, the good luck charm, our crystal, the astrologer, or even UFOs to save us.
Alan Godfrey is a retired police constable who served with the West Yorkshire Metropolitan Police Force. His life and career are notable for having been entangled in some of Britain’s most unusual mysteries, including the Zigmund Adamski case, allegedly connected with the UFO phenomenon. His alleged UFO encounter took place during one of the most active waves of UFO sightings in British history. He is considered by some ufologists to be one of the first alien abductees in Britain. Ufologist Jenny Randles has claimed that the Alan Godfrey case cemented the Pennines as the central hot spot of UFO activity in Britain, and possibly in all of Europe.
Within six months of discovering Adamski’s body, Godfrey was given another, seemingly less pressing, assignment. The police station had been receiving multiple calls from concerned citizens regarding a herd of cows that had allegedly been appearing and reappearing on a local council estate. On the night of November 28, 1980, Godfrey was dispatched to investigate. He was driving his car down Burnley Road when he spotted something down the way ahead of him. Thinking that it was a double-decker bus that had skidded sideways on the road, he turned on his police lights and moved in for a closer inspection. When he got within 25 yards of the object, he realized that it was not in fact on the road at all; it was hovering approximately five feet off the ground. Not knowing how to proceed, he tried calling for backup in the car radio, only to discover that it would not function. His personal radio was also “completely dead.” Godfrey recalled that the object appeared to have been emitting some kind of force capable of disrupting the trees on either side of the road, yet it made no noise whatsoever, nor could he feel any vibration in the police car. For safety reasons, he remained in the car and proceeded to sketch the object in front of him in a notepad he kept in the vehicle. He described the object as a diamond shape, with the bottom half rotating and the top sitting stationary. Soon after finishing the sketch, he reported a “jump in time”; he suddenly found himself driving the car again, approximately 20 or 30 yards past the point at which he met the object. Confused as to what had just happened, Godfrey turned the car around and inspected the area in which it had rested. He found that the road was perfectly dry where it had hovered, despite the fact that the entire area had been dampened from the rainfall that night. Despite initial scepticism, Godfrey later came to believe that he was the victim of an alien abduction.
Godfrey returned to the station to retrieve two fellow officers in an attempt to continue the search for the missing cattle. They managed to find them in a field, to which the only point of access was across a bridge and through a locked gate. There was no sign of the cattle having walked there themselves, despite the ground being wet and easily disturbed. Godfrey insisted that the only way the cows could have gotten there was for them to have simply been dropped on the spot.
Upon returning to the station, Godfrey also noticed that there was approximately 30–35 minutes “missing” for which he could not account. While he claims his trip down Burnley Road should have only taken him 15 minutes, he had been gone for approximately 45–50. He also noticed several other things for which he had no rational explanation; an itchy but painless mark had appeared on his foot, and his boot had been split horizontally on the sole. The next day, he also discovered that three other officers had reported seeing strange lights at the time of Godfrey’s encounter.
Godfrey reported the occurrences as per standard police procedure, despite some ridicule from colleagues. He soon found that the story had been leaked to the press, much to the embarrassment of the department and his family. Godfrey maintains that the department, uncomfortable with his newfound notoriety, pressured him to resign through such tactics as replacing his car with a bicycle. Godfrey no longer works for the Police Service

Witness said: A new video from Dublin showing what appears to be a big UFO in the sky with green and red lighting! This great sighting is worth investigating and Garda I’m sure have already been updated by the mysterious craft. What on earth could it be? UFO! It resembles one from reports in Russia last year where green and red lighted craft was over a power plant.

It happened quite a few years ago now, I’d say around 16 years if I had to guess. I was around 8/9 at the time and like most 8/9 year old boys, I had been sentenced to an evening of being grounded for something stupid I’d done. I had been in my room and playing on my games console when my mum had passed and heard and advised me that being grounded isn’t something you’re supposed to enjoy, before taking the console away. So to console myself I went to my bedroom window to watch my friends playing outside. My window looked out over our garden, which had an alleyway behind it, and then a row of buildings beyond that. As I was looking out at my friends playing whatever they were playing, I noticed movement above the roofs of the buildings at the alleyway. Assuming there was a spider or something on my window, I looked up to get it. Instead of a spider I witnessed a large triangular craft passing above the buildings. Not directly above, of course, but it appeared that way because of it’s position in the sky. It looked to be far away and still was very visible and very clear…and very large. I’d estimate it was approximately one mile away and was still as big as my finger is now. I observed the object for around 10 seconds. It moved in a perfectly horizontal line, and rotated to the right as it went at a speed of a around 1 full rotation per ~3 secs. It was very dark coloured, almost black. And the only way I know it wasn’t totally black is because it had 2 thick darker lines running across its width. There were also darker lines in between these lines but they weren’t very clear. Could have been markings, could have just been recesses in the surface. As I watched it I’d been totally frozen, until after watching it for about 10 seconds I screamed and ran downstairs. And wouldn’t go back up no matter what, mother’s wrath be damned! I have no idea what it was I saw, I’ve never seen anything like it since then. Oh, and as a slightly interesting aside, a week or two after this we had some very strange occurrences in the house. Firstly, my sister developed an imaginary friend that she never spoke to when we were around. This friend spent a while apparently just playing with her, but after a fortnight or so she began to wake up screaming in the night. She’d have marks on her and would literally stay up all night so she didn’t have to go to sleep on her own. It got so bad that she had to be moved first into my mum’s room and then into mine. For some reason, after moving into my room, and having me tell her many times that if he comes back she should tell him to go away and to ignore him, it seems he did. My mum has always been a believer in ‘other stuff’ and was of the opinion that if you just ignore anything bad it will go away. Which is a philosophy I have found very useful in life, believe me! Any attention is good attention for that stuff. We had a few incidents of switches flicking themselves off or on, once a TV (and we had a very old TV…weren’t very rich) had the volume dial turned all the way up while my whole family was in the room. Through that we just tended to ignore as best as we could, and eventually it all stopped. The second and more terrifying (to my mind anyway) occurrence was this: around the time my sister had her imaginary friend, I began to experience very vivid dreams. And all to do with non-human entities. At first the dreams were “relatively” okay. I’d see beings in the garden looking up at my window. And these weren’t the typical Greys. They looked more like a head attached to a pair of giant legs with two small arms beneath the chin. Never saw any full facial details so can’t comment on that. After a few of those came the bad dreams. And they were full of Greys! I dreamed they came into my room and were apparently examining my sister. I wanted to stop them or say something but couldn’t move, and whenever I thought about what I could do one of them would straighten up and look into my bed (we had bunk beds), and begin to examine me. I had one or two of those, then they got really weird. I’d dream that I was standing outside my house in the street, in just my pajamas. And I was terrified. I don’t know why but I was terrified. I was always carrying a ship in a bottle, something I’ve never owned, and would look up into the sky. Across the sky a number of huge, and I mean HUGE winged figures would fly by at ridiculous speeds. As the last ones started to pass, dozens and dozens of craft would begin to pursue. Craft of all shapes and sizes. And then the dream would end. So yeah. That’s it. I have no idea if my sighting was linked to the following events, but it is what it is. I remember everything that happened at the time that was connected, and I don’t think I’ll ever forget it. And the feeling of utter helplessness watching my little sister go through that stuff is another thing I will never forget. NOTE: The above image is a rendering.

The X-37B sits on the runway of the Vandenberg Air Force Base on Dec. 3, 2010.
The Air Force’s secret space plane has been up in orbit for nearly 500 days—a space endurance record. But nearly a year and a half into the mission, the Pentagon still won’t say what the X-37B is doing up there, or when it might come back.
The U.S. Air Force boosted the robotic X-37B atop the nose of an Atlas-5 rocket in December 2012. Since then it’s orbited the Earth thousands of times, overflying such interesting places as North Korea and Iran.
Similar to the Space Shuttle in appearance, the diminutive X-37B is about a quarter the size of the old shuttles. But there are major differences. Lacking a crew, the spacecraft has no cockpit windows. The X-37B has a payload bay about the size of a pickup truck bed.
And while the original Space Shuttle could stay in orbit for up to 17 days—a limitation largely due to the needs of the crew—the first X-37B mission, OTV-1, spent 225 days in space under the guidance of Air Force space flight controllers at Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado. The second mission, OTV-2, handily doubled that number, clocking 469 days in orbit. OTV-3 is currently at 482 days and counting.
Eventually—nobody knows when—the pudgy space plane will glide back down to Earth like the Space Shuttle it resembles, rolling to a stop on an Air Force runway in California.
The X-37B began as a NASA project to build a small, unmanned space plane. NASA handed the project over to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency in 2004, but after budgetary problems the program was transferred to the U.S. Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office, which continues to manage the X-37B program. Boeing’s Phantom Works division built two of the X-37B spacecraft.
The U.S. Air Force will not comment on what kind of missions the X-37B does in space. The service, which doesn’t mind talking about the space drone as a technological achievement, clams up when discussing actual missions.
Rumors abound. One of the most popular is the X-37B can sneak up and eavesdrop on other satellites. The idea does have appeal, but skeptics point out the U.S. already has other smaller, harder to track satellites to do just that.

Another rumor is that the X-37B can, like supervillian Ernst Blofeld’s giant clamshell satellite in You Only Live Twice, saddle up to the satellites of other nations and mess with them. Though theoretically possible, the X-37 would have to be launched into an orbit similar to the target’s, and the X-37B’s size makes it easy to track. Even amateur satellite spotters can track the X-37B, and it would be obvious to everyone who had stolen a satellite.
The most interesting—but least likely—rumor is that the X-37B is some kind of orbital bomber, capable of nailing targets from on high. There’s not a whole lot of evidence to back that theory up.
Brian Weeden, a former Air Force officer with the Space Command’s Joint Space Operations Center and now at the Secure World Foundation, believes that the X-37B is primarily a test bed for new technologies. “I think it is primarily an ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) platform for testing new sensor technologies or validating new technologies.” Weeden tells The Daily Beast. “The current OTV-3 on orbit has basically been in the same orbit since launch, with only the occasional maneuver to maintain that orbit. That’s consistent with a remote sensing/ISR mission.”
The X-37B is probably testing technologies that might be incorporated into the spy satellites of the future. New cameras, radars, and other sensors could be tested in space and then brought back to Earth for study. That’s much better than designing them on Earth and then building an enormously expensive spy satellite reliant on untested technology.
That doesn’t mean that OTV-3 isn’t spying on other countries—it probably is. OTV-3’s orbit takes it over all sorts of interesting places, including North Korea, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and China. The space drone’s sensors are likely could well be getting workouts against real-world targets, from North Korean missile facilities to shipyards where China’s next aircraft carriers are being built.
And although it’s only a guess, one can surmise that, based on the amount of time the X-37B is spending in orbit, those sensors are apparently working pretty well.
If the X-37B is just a test platform, why won’t the Pentagon open up about it? “I don’t think the secrecy surrounding the X-37B program is an attempt by the U.S. government to hide anything nefarious, but rather that it’s driven by bureaucratic inertia,” Weeden says. Addressing the rumors, Weeden points out, “The secrecy surrounding the program makes it difficult for the U.S. government to respond meaningfully to those claims and debunk them.”
The X-37B is a relatively bright spot during a fallow period for the U.S. space program, and Boeing and the Air Force are capitalizing on the program’s success. Boeing is converting the former Orbiter Processing Facility at the Kennedy Space Center, where Space Shuttles were maintained in-between spaceflights, to a one-stop facility designed to refurbish landed X-37Bs and prepare them for spaceflight again.
Boeing has also proposed a larger X-37C, which would be capable of carrying up to six astronauts to and from orbit. This project is likely to get a second look as relations with Russia, the only country currently capable of sending astronauts into space, sour over the situation in the Ukraine.
In the meantime OTV-3 continues to drift overhead, silently orbiting the Earth, doing whatever it does. It’s anyone’s guess when it will be coming back.
Its now 4:39 am on Wednesday April 2, 2014 I was deep asleep and woke up with some vivid memories of my dream…
I heard the last message sent by Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah , the clock says: 01:19:29 MAS370 Good Night Malaysian Three Seven Zero.
All is quiet and seem normal in the cockpit and co pilot Fariq Abdul Hamid finalized all his checking and was in a very relaxed state of mind.
The cockpit light is deemed to the maximum and in near total darkness. I can see Captain Zaharie using a small flash -light, looking at the picture below, his face is very sad, he is trying very hard not to cry and hide his feelings from his co-pilot.
The co-pilot was poisoned with some heavy sleeping tablets dropped secretively in his beverage by a very disturbed Captain.
He is waiting for his co-pilot to become totally impaired and requested not to be disturbed by the crew. it is now 01:20:16, I see him tampering with the electronics and he seems to be satisfied with the results. I see him disabling the auto pilot “off position” and manually turned the plane left, towards the Indian ocean.
Update: It is during this time that the co pilot Fariq Abdul Hamid noticed something was very wrong and tried to alert the authorities by placing a call. But Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah took the phone away from him without much resistance from the co-pilot.
16-year-old Georgina Heap observed the peculiar phenomenon for three minutes before it disappeared.
The black ring appeared in the sky over Leamington Spa on Friday evening while Georgina was outside playing tennis with her mother.
Grabbing her iPhone she filmed the ring for three minutes before it vanished. Her footage has generated a great deal of interest since appearing online and nobody is quite sure what to make of it.
“It’s a truly bizarre image,” said former MoD UFO researcher Nick Pope. “It looks like a smoke ring, but I can’t see where it could have come from.”
The man, who is in his mid-20s and appears to come from somewhere in Eastern Europe, was found in an industrial area in the east of Oslo in what police described as “a bad condition”.
He speaks very good English with an east European accent, understands Czech, Slovak, Polish and Russian, and is calling himself “John Smith” until he recovers memories of his real name.
“The man has no identity papers, and does not remember his name, where he came from, how he ended up in Norway or any other details of his life,” the police wrote in their statement.
Oslo police have tried to establish the man’s identity for nearly four months, sending photos and fingerprints to East European police forces via Interpol, and searching through lists of missing people.
“We have come to a point in the investigation where we had tried everything without getting anywhere,” Sturla Henriksbø from the Oslo police told VG newspaper. “Therefore we are now, in consultation with the man himself, releasing his picture.” – TheLocal
Woman ends up in hospital after seeing spirits everywhere
A 23-year-old Malaysian woman is in hospital after she allegedly saw spirits while trying out a so-called ghost-hunting application on her smartphone, Kwong Wah Yit Poh reported.
The woman, known only as Wu, from Hubei, China, claimed to have seen spirits around her when she first tried the app.
When she went to the cemetery with her parents during the Qing Ming festival, she tried the application again.
This time it allegedly showed three spirits by her side, leading her to have sleepless nights for three days. She had to seek medical treatment in a local hospital.
Former beauty queen Angie Cheong Wei Yee from Ipoh has been working hard to provide a bright future for her adopted son in Hong Kong, who is suffering from a heart ailment, Guang Ming Daily reported.
The former Miss Chinatown, who was active in the Hong Kong entertainment industry in the 90s, recently opened a grocery store there, where 10-year-old Hanson is studying at an international school.
She adopted him eight years ago in Beijing.
Cheong, 43, said she decided to move back to Hong Kong to enjoy life with her adopted son.
Every morning, a woman in Singapore would wake her husband for work.
When his wife, who was seven months pregnant, did not wake him up on Monday, the man was horrified to find her dead in their bedroom, China Press reported.
The night before, the man had slept in the living room while his wife slept in the bedroom.
The 31-year-old woman, who had a hole-in-the-heart when she was born, had undergone surgery as a child.

Something is creepily tickling — and tormenting — guests at a New Jersey hotel, according to residents and owners. And after years of complaints, a team of self-described ghost hunters are claiming they’ve found paranormal evidence inside the establishment.
For years, people have speculated that ghosts might be haunting the historic Hotel Somerset in Somerville, N.J., with stories ranging from mysterious foot and neck tickling in the middle of the night to guests’ shoes being cryptically rearranged.
Curtis Jones, 67, a Vietnam veteran who has lived at Hotel Somerset, the nation’s oldest continuously run hotel, for seven years, claims he’s experienced all three phenomena.
He’s hoping that it will all soon come to an end.
“I just want it to go away!,” Jones, who says he suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, told USA Today.
He’s not the only one who suspects something paranormal might be at play. Tom McCormick, who runs the hotel, called in the Paranormal Diagnostics Group, a group of ghost hunters, to investigate.
McCormick said two additional residents complained about foot tickling years ago in a different room — one in which a resident once died. And he claims that his family, including a young son and his wife, Shannon, have all experienced ghosts on the property, according to USA Today.
“I was getting soda down in the basement, when I heard a woman or a girl whisper to me, ‘Help me,’” Shannon said of a purported experience last year.
They claim their son saw the same little girl later that night.
Ghost hunters Robert McCaffrey and Dave Orloff of the Paranormal Diagnostics Group have investigated the hotel three times of late and they, too, claim to have collected proof of the paranormal, including video of flashes and shadows — and creepy audio recordings.
In one audio clip they claim to hear the name “Evelyn Epright.” According to McCormick’s father, Epright lived in a house behind the hotel, but her home was later torn down in the mid-1960s.
They also claim a medium told them that three children might be haunting the hotel — and that the medium was able to draw an image of Jones’ room without ever seeing it.
She claims “his closet is a vortex of paranormal activity” and that there is “extensive energy” at the foot of his bed, according to the McCaffrey and Orloff.
The hotel’s long history contributes to the notion that spirits might be lurking. Founded in 1748, it has a long lifespan that is intertwined with a murder trial, the Revolutionary War and other noteworthy events.
McCormick claims that five tenants died in the hotel and a sixth committed suicide during his parent’s 40-year ownership of the Hotel Somerset. – The Blaze

Ascending a mountain stream, the Chiarao, R L Johannis came upon a 10-meter wide lens shaped object of red burnished metal, wedged into a rock crack so that it stood on edge. It had a low cupola bearing a thin telescoping antenna like a car’s radio but no openings, seeing two “boys” 50 meters away, he called out to them, and began to approach them. When within 25 meters, he saw that they were midget-sized beings not over 3 ft tall, wearing dark blue overalls of translucent material, with bright red belts, collars, and cuffs. Their large heads were covered with broad tight fitting caps. They had immense round yellow green eyes with vertical slit pupils, and a mere slit of a ^-shaped mouth, which kept opening and closing. Their skin was dull greenish; they walked like robots, with arms hanging. After a couple of minute’s stupor, Johannis waved his geologist’s pick and called out, asking who they were. At this one raised his hand to his belt and a thin puff of smoke received was emitted; Johannis found himself flat on the ground, paralyzed, and feeling as if he had received an electric shock. He saw one of the beings pick up his pick, with a green hand that had eight fingers; four of them opposite like our thumbs. Then with small steps they slowly walked to the saucer. A few minutes after they entered the rock crack, the disk rose vertically to about 15 ft above the ground (still on edge, “like a gong”) & hovered there, while Johannis tried to get up but fell back again. The disc tipped a bit, and then took off, with a blast of wind that rolled Johannis into the stony riverbed. It was more than 2 hours before he felt able to walk home. When he unpacked his pack, he found that the aluminum objects in it were missing. At this time he had never heard of flying saucers.

Bob Taylor, a forestry worker was inspecting young forest plantations on foot accompanied by his dog. In a clearing surrounded by trees he came upon a large dome-shaped object, dark gray in color, hovering just above the ground. The surface texture seemed to be periodically cha…nging from something like emery paper to smooth and shining. The object was about 13 ft high and 20 ft in diameter. There was a rim around it, like a hat brim, from which emerged small projections like propellers. Only seconds after first seeing this strange object, Taylor became aware of two smaller spheres which emerged from close to the larger and rolled quickly towards him. They may have been around 3 ft in diameter, and had spikes around them, which touched the grass with a sucking or plopping noise. When they reached him, each sphere attached itself to his trousers just below the pockets and he felt himself being tugged towards the larger object. His Wellington boots were dragging on the ground as he tried to resist the pull, and he was being overcome by an acrid choking smell. He lost consciousness and fell forward onto the ground. When he opened his eyes the object had gone and his dog around him barking. Taylor could neither speak nor stand at first, so he began to crawl to his truck and then was able to walk the rest of the way. Later he complained of a bad headache and a terrible thirst, his chin was painful; he felt sick and could still taste the acrid smell. On examination, marks were found on the ground, ladder like “tracks”, not more than four inches deep.
