Some of the best UFO stories in my opinion are the ones with the backdrop of the Cold War. When flying saucers and flying discs were not meant to be called ‘UFO’s’ and aliens were merely saucer men or little green men from Mars.

I guess there is always a soft spot in one’s heart for the comic book versions of the flying saucer and the men from space. My father turned me on to some classic comic books that went beyond the stories of Batman and Superman. There were also other magazines that were pulp zines that talked about aliens and flying saucers all the time. In the 1950’s and 1960’s the flying saucer stories were fun and later into the 1970’s and 80’s what was simply a b-movie mythos became a topic of cover-up, conspiracy and film noir intrigue as the aliens were more than just imaginary villains, they were now a product of classified top secret intelligence.

The pulp and comic book fantasy became reality and the mystique became more and more horrifying as we began to hear in the nightly news reports stories of abductions and cattle mutilations.

I remember when I was growing up there were two terrifying stories that always had my attention. The first one was John Keel’s ‘Mothman Prophecies’ where a giant human like flying creature terrorized a small town in the Ohio valley and The Maury Island Incident where two men and a young boy witnessed flying saucers near Washington state in 1947. The story was unbelievable and as a young man I really did not look into the details of the incident. As I grew older I wanted to know more about the case.

It wasn’t until 1996 when I received a copy of the ‘Big Book‘ of strange stories that I was once again reading a graphic novel telling the tale of what happened on the little peninsular island just outside of Vaschon Island, Washington in the American Northwest.

Many people are unaware that the very first reports of unidentified flying objects were in the Pacific Northwest.

Before stories of an alien crash landing in Roswell, New Mexico, before a pilot spotted UFO’s near Mt. Rainier and before the UFO photos were taken near McMinnville, Oregon – there was the Maury Island incident in Puget Sound, Washington.

This was the beginning of the modern UFO era. Those early sightings were centered in Washington state and in Oregon.

When I lived in Utah, I was close enough to Area 51 and the west deserts of Nevada to visit areas where alleged UFO activity was happening. I was also close enough to Roswell and in 1997 I arrived there to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Roswell crash.

Little did I know that I would find myself in a situation where I would move closer to the area where the Maury Island incident took place and the famous Trent Farm Saucer was taken.

I also happened to wind up in Bigfoot territory when I moved to the Pacific Northwest and found out that an old colleague of mine in Utah was being sought by the FBI because of the possibility of him being the infamous D.B. Cooper, a folk hero in the Northwest and a historical figure that remains a man of mystery.

When I moved to Portland, Oregon I wanted to first organize a trip to Maury Island. It would take me eight years to organize a group to investigate and by the time I was ready to go to Maury Island I collapsed and was rushed to the hospital and was later diagnosed with cancer.

I waited another 5 years to organize another trip and in June of 2013 I was diagnosed again with cancer.

A year later, I decided that I was going to investigate the Maury Island case regardless of my health condition. The trip and the investigation was a success and even though I sprained my ankle during the investigation and the Vaschon paramedics had to rush me to South Harbor Hospital in Seattle I can say that I got what I was looking for and at the 15th, annual McMinnville UFO festival I am here to give my report to a national audience that I hope has the same interest as I do in the case.

On June 21st, 1947, harbor patrolman Harold Dahl was cruising in a boat near Maury Island in Puget Sound, Washington. Dahl had his 15 year old son and his dog along as they salvaged logs on that warm summer day.

Off in the distance, they spotted what they said were six round objects that resembled flying doughnuts. One of the objects was flying erratically and started descending towards the boat. Dahl said it began spinning and emitting bits of something that looked like lava or white hot metal. The slag hit the boat, breaking a worker’s arm and killing the dog.

Dahl used the ship-to-shore radio, but there was too much interference to send an SOS. The panicked harbor patrolman had the presence of mind to snap a few photos as he steered towards shore on Maury Island. He took his son to a Tacoma hospital, to have the boy’s burns treated. He later told his employer Fred Crisman, that he thought the metal ejecta had showered down from an alien space craft.

Later, Dahl claimed that he had been visited by what he described as a stereotypical man in black – or MIB. The man wore a black suit and drove a brand new Black Buick sedan. The MIB treated Dahl to breakfast at a waterfront cafe in Tacoma. While Dahl sipped his coffee, the mysterious visitor revealed that he also had witnessed the six UFOs. He told Dahl that if he loved his family he would keep his mouth shut about the whole affair.

The one person Dahl confided in was Fred Crisman, who was eager to see photographic evidence from the pictures Dahl said he had taken. It turned out, though, that the camera film was useless because the negatives were fogged. Crisman decided to check it out in person. He went to Maury Island and claimed to have seen metal slag strewn all over the ground. While he was surveying the area, a similar doughnut shaped object appeared out of the clouds. It was there, he said, right in front of him. In that moment, Fred Crisman became a firm believer in Dahl’s story.

Later that summer, a team from the U.S. Air Force sent two investigators who visited Maury Island and collected samples of debris. They carried the material with them for a return flight to San Francisco in a B-25 aircraft, but never made it. On August first, 1947, the plane crashed near Kelso, Washington, killing the crew onboard.

It’s a story partly gleaned from declassified FBI documents – a conspiracy investigation that the government wanted to hush up. Then came the mysterious military plane crash. What material was on board that B-25?

Whatever it was, it apparently was linked to what Harold Dahl claimed to have seen in the sky over Maury Island, as the first wave of UFO sightings began in the Pacific Northwest.

I remember that when I was in Roswell, New Mexico in 1997 I was making some connections to what happened with Dahl and Crisman and what Kenneth Arnold reported in 1947 while flying over Mt. Rainer. I also spoke with Stanton Friedman in Roswell about Maury Island and he discouraged me from investigating the case because he said it was a hoax.

In 2007, it was reported that a prospector hiking in the area of Rose Valley near the ravine in a forested area of Kelso found wreckage of the missing B-25. It was the first time I saw mainstream news reports speaking about a secret military plane crashes and most importantly an aircraft that carried a classified cargo—namely parts of a flying disc.

Before I planned my first outing in Washington, I wanted to verify that what I was hearing was true. After I placed a call into the local news agency I was told that the wreckage in question was tied to a strange UFO story form 1947.

I thought, if this is a hoax then why is this place and wreckage find so important?

It was then that I realized that the story may have been called a hoax and that maybe Crisman and Dahl were forced to recant their story. I then wondered why so many people are hoping that the Maury Island story would go away when the proof of it all can be found in wooded area outside of Kelso, Washington.

I did some dot connecting and perhaps what we are dealing with is a story that if it was given any credence would be devastating for our military and our government, especially if the military pilots died carrying something that could be far more dangerous to national security if revealed.

As Weird U.S. writes in ‘The Maury Island Incident’:

“Dahl and Crisman sent a package to publisher Ray Palmer in Chicago. (A year or two later, Palmer founded Fate magazine.) The package contained a box of metal fragments and statements about the strange happenings on the 21st and 22nd of July. A few weeks later, Palmer contacted Kenneth Arnold (see Flying Saucers at Mount Rainier), who had begun investigating UFOs.

Arnold arrived in Tacoma in late July with airline pilot E.J. Smith. The two of them met with Dahl and Crisman, examined Dahl’s boat, and conducted interviews. Dahl and Crisman did not produce the pictures, however. Dahl also told Arnold that his son had disappeared. (Dahl said later that his son was found waiting tables in Montana, but he could not remember how he got there.) On the afternoon of July 31, Captain Lee Davidson and First Lieutenant Frank Brown of the U.S. Army Air Force flew up to Tacoma from Hamilton Field, California.

In addition to being pilots, the two men were intelligence specialists. They met with Arnold, Smith, and Crisman for several hours. One of the officers said that he thought there might have been “something” to the story, but they had to leave around midnight. They were in a hurry to be at Hamilton Field on August 1, the day when the Air Force was to split from the Army. The two officers flew out of McChord Air Field around two o’clock in the morning on a B-25 bomber, with a crew of two other men. About twenty minutes later, the airplane crashed near Centralia, Washington. The two enlisted men managed to parachute to safety, but Davidson and Brown were killed, making them the Air Force’s first casualties.

Dahl and Crisman said that the AF officers took some of the strange metal onboard. People thought they heard anti-aircraft guns shoot the plane down. The local newspapers and FBI received phone calls stating that the plane was shot down to cover up the information Brown and Davidson had found. Because of the loss of life, the Air Force broadened its investigation and the FBI launched their own.

The Air Force investigators determined that the crash had been a terrible accident. One of the engines caught fire and the men to began bailing out. Before Brown and Davidson could jump out, a wing broke and struck the tail section, which also broke off. The plane went into a spin, trapping the men inside.

Another Air Force investigator spoke with Dahl and Crisman and visited their boat. He stated that the damage he saw did not match the damage the two sailors described. There were no piles of metal on Maury Island, and the existing samples looked like slag from a metal smelter. His conclusion matched that of the FBI investigator: that Dahl and Crisman had faked the incident to gain publicity for a magazine article.

The FBI warned Dahl and Crisman that their hoax had not succeeded and that if they dropped the matter, the government would not prosecute the two men for the fraud, which had resulted in the deaths of the two officers.”

You would think that a hoax which resulted in the deaths of two officers would be a prosecutable crime. Both men, however, were never charged in the deaths which puts into question the validity of the hoax story.

It is also interesting to note that Fred Lee Crisman, one of the so-called hoaxers in the Maury Island case, had connections to a well-known and notorious name in our history, that name is Clay Shaw.

Clay Shaw was arrested and tried for complicity in the murder of John F. Kennedy, acquitted on March 1, 1969 by a grand jury.

If we dig into some interesting history we find that Clay Shaw was a spy for the OSS, the United States spy agency that preceeded the CIA. Shaw’s spy business was also accompanied with his ties to Nazi POW’s and ‘Operation Paperclip’ where the United States brought over from Germany Nazi scientists that were helping the war effort by providing information about rocketry and in some conspiracy circles secret saucer technology that was allegedly being tested by the Nazis.

Werner Von Braun first met Clay Shaw in 1945 when he, Walter Dornberger – soon to become the chairman of Bell Helicopter, and about 150 other Nazi rocket scientists abandoned Peenemünde and traveled south to join the American forces in Germany close to the French border.

As Alex Constantine wrote in ‘Project Paperclip and the Kennedy Assassination’:

“Von Braun first met Clay Shaw in 1945 when he, Walter Dornberger [soon to become the chairman of Bell Helicopter] and about 150 other Nazi rocket scientists abandoned Peneemunde and traveled south to join the American forces in Germany close to the French border. The Nazis were brought to the Deputy Chief of Staff’s headquarters where major Clay Shaw maintained their relationship over the years through their mutual connection with the Defense Industrial Security Command, or D.I.S.C., an operational arm of the counterespionage division of the FBI… When Shaw learned he was a suspect in the Garrison investigation, he immediately phoned one Fred Lee Crisman, a veteran of Operation Paperclip and a covert contract “security” specialist for aerospace firms.”

Did Crisman hold a secret about classified Nazi saucer technology and was he trying to get the word out about our alliance with Nazi scientists and their so called alien technology?

If it was reported that the pilots that died in B-25 were carrying Nazi tech, wouldn’t that have been a scandal so great that it would shake the nation two years after World War II?

At first, Dahl and Crisman went along with the whole hoax claim. They made statements that the story was a fake and simply refused to give interviews on the matter. But a few years later in the January 1950 issue of Fate magazine, Crisman stated that the incident had happened, and Kenneth Arnold included Maury Island in his 1952 book ‘The Coming of the Saucers‘.

As MUFON notes:

“Today, most people believe that Crisman and Dahl faked the incident, perpetuating a hoax that got out of control. Other people believe that the U.S. Government was behind a conspiracy that may have involved anything from UFOs to dumping nuclear waste in Puget Sound.”

Perhaps the key to the whole UFO mystery goes far beyond that of Roswell and begins with shady relationships with Nazis, the aerospace industry and the very real possibility that stealth Nazi aircraft that was financed by prominent American investors was being seen in the skies during and after World War II.

The mystery of Maury Island remains just that, a mystery. And as outrageous as it may sound, we can’t erase it from UFO history just because the story has a lot of inconvenient inconsistencies.

POSSIBILITY THAT THE ALIENS ARE TARGETING THE WELSH

Telepathic aliens are targeting Wales in a bid to harvest our superior genetic material – that’s according to “abduction victim” Hilary Porter.  While Hilary’s stories may sound outlandish or unbelievable, she dismisses those who scoff for being closed minded.  The 67-year-old sought-after speaker and ufologist is claiming a stretch of road between Swansea and Cardiff is a “hotspot” of alien activity  Hilary says she was so traumatised by her abduction that she was too scared to return to Wales for four decades.  When she did finally return in 2009 to visit a friend in Llanelli, she drove through the danger area unharmed – only to be abducted from her bed within a day of arrival.  Hilary says she has been abducted so many times she has lost count and is convinced that aliens are already among us and only a government cover-up continues to keep it a secret.  “They know what is going on but they are absolutely powerless to stop it,” said Hilary.  However, the active member of the British Earth and Aerial Mysteries Society (BEAMS) believes the tide is turning as people increasingly come forward with their own tales of alien abduction.  Later this month she will be among a host of speakers at the Anomalous Mind Management, Abductee, Contactee, Helpline project (AMMACH) conference, which is expected to attracted hundreds.  Hilary, who has had two experiences of aliens in Wales, holds the belief that extra terrestrials are targeting the Celtic tribe.  The first occasion was in September 1970 as she drive home from a holiday in Ireland with her now ex-husband.  She said as they headed towards the original Severn crossing, they suddenly found themselves on the outskirts of Cardiff outside a garage with no idea how they had got there.

 “It was damned frightening. We just blacked out and had no idea how we got there,” she said.  “I didn’t feel well at all. My husband thought we must have gone to sleep, but that didn’t explain how we got there.”  Also unexplained was how the petrol level in the car hadn’t gone down, she said.  “When we got home I got changed and found triangular suction marks on my stomach, blood suction marks. I thought ‘flipping hell, look at that.”  The marks themselves quickly disappeared and it wasn’t until seven years later that Hilary had a dream of travelling in what appeared to be a hexagonal spaceship.  Within a short space of time she started suffering flashback memories which, she believes, began to reveal what had really happened in Wales.  Today after years of studying “experience phenomena”, she has come to the conclusion she was teleported by aliens from another dimension.  “They transport you molecularly and can create portals in a wall or closed door,” she said.  “In the flashbacks I was on a beach and could see this alien being who was about 6ft tall and wearing green coveralls.  “I couldn’t see his face but he could communicate mind to mind and had a box around his neck for seismic testing and warned me that he was going to cause an earthquake.”  When he did, they were forced to run, she said, and she got into a small round vehicle which took her and the alien on to a small oval UFO.  “I thought ‘flipping eck’,” she said.  She later created a drawing of the flight deck of the UFO which shows a consul and an alien moving a series of levers, which she describes as looking like those in an old fashioned railway signal box. “Clearly a cover memory,” she said.  She believes the relatively pleasant events she recalled had been created by the aliens to hide the real nature of the traumatic experience she actually underwent.  On the second occasion, she said she woke at a friend’s house to find she had an unexplained black eye.  Hilary revealed that her research has led her to the conclusion that aliens target certain human “tribes” who genetic make-up is of more interest.  “The Celtic tribes from Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Cornwall and Brittany are definitely on the list,” she said.  “They are trying to make alien human hybrids and it seems the genetic material of these races are more compatible.” – WalesOnline

Amazing! Alien 450 Million Yr Old Chip Discovered in Russia (Stunning Videos)

An alien chip has been discovered in Labinsk riverside of Hojo in the Kuban region in Russia, embedded in an unusual stone. The chip is similar in nature to a modern day electronic chip and was submitted for analysis to the Research Institute of Nanotechnology and new materials of the South Russian State Technical University, who determined the chip is approximately 450 million years old.

More and more evidence is being found that provide insight into ancient civilization and technologies that human beings now are creating, but come from a time when it is was assumed advanced technology did not exist and this is just one more example of this phenomenon.

But far from a dry scientific analysis of what happened at the place known as Tunguska, this novel is pure science fiction in the classic sense – a rollicking and intricate tale about the alien personalities that become stranded on our planet.

How these interstellar explorers caused and then covered up what was a planetary event is the sci-fi adventure that is “Tunguska”.

Early on a June morning in 1908, a tremendous explosion rocked an area in Siberia around Tunguska.

The peasants within 80 kilometres of the blast saw a multi-coloured, mushroom shaped cloud slowly rising high into the sky.

Later there were accounts of animals and those brave humans who ventured into the area of the explosion being struck down with a strange sickness.

Scientists said that the explosion that caused shock waves to circle the Earth several times was the result of a meteor.

But meteors strike the Earth and leave a crater.

This blast was at least a mile above the surface, and there was no crater - just millions of trees flattened and laid out in lines radiating from the centre of the explosion, over an area of hundreds of square miles!

“Another perplexing fact that cast doubt on the 'meteor' theory was that the object slowed down and changed direction before it exploded, according to eyewitnesses in Afghanistan,” England said.

“Scientists believe it was a meteor, and completely discount any other explanation, even though eye-witness evidence points to some sort of control!”

The author has his own views of this enduring mystery.

From his research of the explosion in Siberia and other inexplicable events in the Bermuda Triangle, Bass Strait and other areas in the world, he has formed an opinion that all these strange happenings have tenuous links to each other.

“Tunguska is fiction, of necessity, and is his scenario of what could explain the, so far, inexplicable! - Read Tunguska and decide for yourself!”

The Tunguska event caught England’s attention many years ago; long before the Internet.

He has always been interested in the paranormal and the inexplicable, those events that have no plausible explanation.

The Bermuda Triangle enigma has long fascinated him, even more so when governments glibly explain away the disappearances as natural occurrences in the face of corroborated sightings by reliable witnesses.

“UFOs are also inexplicable, well most of them are,” he said. “Airline pilots have put their careers on the line to report events that have put their aircraft in danger!”

Now research is so easy with the World Wide Web, and so much information is available on almost any topic, including masses of information about all three topics.

Quite recently, eyewitness accounts of the Tunguska event from Afghanistan have come to light.

“And the clincher was a report that small glass like beads found at the epicentre of the Tunguska explosion were very similar to glass like beads found at Hiroshima after the Atomic bomb in 1945!

“So with all that information it was a natural progression for me to write something.

“My first attempt to write about the Tunguska explosion disappointed me, because it was difficult not to paraphrase some of the evidence, which reads like science fiction.

“I decided to write a sci-fi novel, but combining much of the enigmatic information about Bermuda, UFOs and Tunguska, because anything I wrote had to be fictional anyway.”

He said reader could enjoy the novel without the some known facts and figures he added in the preface, but he hopes it does prompt some discussion, which was his aim.

He is now working on his early life story, from age three to 17 when he joined the Royal Navy.

“As an experienced father of two daughters, grandfather of six and great grandfather of; phew, I’ve lost count, one would think I have seen everything; certainly seen enough not to be surprised at anything a child does or says. But I still cringe when recalling moments of my own youth; wow, did I really do that or surely that can’t be right.

“But times were different, people were different; in fact it was a different world to the one we live in today.”

Paul England has also published Voyage of a Lifetime, which documents one family’s sea voyage from England to Australia, as well as a number of children’s books, known as the “Frogger” series.

In May 12, 2014, the Object Report website was sent an email of a daylight UFO photographed over the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. The XXXXXX Chong eyewitness submitted an image from his cellular phone camera taken about noon. He took a photo and 30 seconds later the object shot upwards at an incredible speed and disappeared into the clouds. Cylinders in Space

This UFO was caught by "Myunhauzen74" of YouTube. He watches the SOHO images almost daily posting 5-7 videos per week. I really am fascinated by this particular UFO in the above screenshot. It was also seen by the Mars Curiosity Rover on April 28th and was even seen at the space station on live cam on May 5, 2014. Who Speaks for Earth?

Fahrusha writes, “If you are a skeptic regarding life beyond the Earth and or UFOs, suspend disbelief for a few moments and ponder the possibilities. If an alien race were to contact or visit our planet Earth with whom would they want to communicate?” This would depend on several factors. Certain people who study such things are drawn to the hypothesis that all evolution across the Galaxy and perhaps across the Universe would follow a similar pattern. This hypothesis is bolstered by yet another hypothesis called panspermia. According to this theory, life is seeded throughout the galaxy by objects (often and most prominently comets) flying through the cosmos. When a comet, composed largely of ice, passes close to a star, a tail or coma is generated due to the gravitational and magnetic force of the star. The coma is the visible part of the matter ejected from the comet. The matter ejected could contain dormant spores and viruses which over time, as the planets circle their star, may rain down on them in small quantities when the planets pass through the trajectory of that comet.

(Please read about the theory of panspermia by Hoyle and Wickramasinge.) So if all life originated on different planets from these same building blocks it might be expected to follow a similar pattern. I find this to be an attractive hypothesis but it has not been definitively proven. It is plausible that there are several evolutionary paths that cause life to form on different planets. There could be a pathway that uses methane as a main building block or silicon in place of carbon. There could be life forms which neither breathe nor respire. The possibilities are virtually limitless and depend on how we define life. Does life require breathing, breeding or consciousness; or all three? Then we come to the question of size and purpose. The size of the beings would probably be in some way related to the gravitational force of the planet on which they evolved. If the beings chose to communicate with Earth from afar, size would not be a major factor. Purpose, however, would be. Since the first episodes of Star Trek, ufologists and other interested folks have been entranced by the idea of a Galactic Federation of humanoid beings. Such an idea postulates that advanced alien races have banded together in some manner for the good of the Galaxy or Universe. With such a worldview or Weltanschauung, the alien beings wish us here on Earth as viewed from NASA’s Apollo 8 mission. Earth no harm and may even be following some form of anti-interference code. Other prominent ideas include aliens visiting our solar system in order to mine or retrieve elements or compounds unavailable on their home planet or galactic neighborhood. High on the list of things that some say the visitors may have come for are water and gold. Another less savory theory (for humans anyway) is that aliens may come to abduct, mutilate, enslave or consume us and our animal companions (cattle mutilations). Or maybe there are different aliens and inter-dimensional creatures visiting or communicating for different purposes. In Ufology circles, one often hears a comment to the effect that in order for the truth to be revealed about UFOs, a space ship would have to land on the White House lawn. I find this rather comical in an anthropocentric and Americocentric way. Why do we think other beings would want to communicate with the American government or any other human government?

Why would they want to communicate with humans at all? want to communicate with humans at all? We have done such a piss poor job of maintaining the Planet that we are likely to become largely extinct within the next two hundred years. Why not speak to the cetaceans (whales and dolphins) or cephalopods (squids and octopi)? Both groups have highly intelligent member groups and the cetaceans appear very peace loving. Perhaps the visiting alien race has a “group mind” and certain insects such as ants, bees or termites would be the object of their communiqués.

Or in a more sinister vein, suppose the world from which the strangers sprang never had a major asteroid collision? The dinosaurs were the dominant group on the Earth for more than 180 million years before the asteroid hit (theory) and wiped them out, far longer than humanity has been the dominant and now over-populating the Earth. I am not the first person to speculate that reptilians could be visiting, or insectoids, for that matter.

Any species capable of traveling or communicating across the light years of interstellar space would certainly be more technologically advanced than humanity, and could be sending out self replicating robots to do their dirty work (can you spell Grays? ) It is also possible that they have learned to communicate mind to mind and do not require radio waves (So much for SETI!) or other physical means of communication. Furthermore they could logically be capable of affecting our minds into seeing what they want us to see and be seen or not seen as they wish it. After all, octopi and other earth based life forms practice effective camouflage and they have never even invented the wheel. But supposing these aliens wanted to communicate, who would they choose? I maintain that it would depend on their purpose. Benevolent aliens would not choose to communicate with violent beings that are destroying their environment unless they had a means by which to alter this rapacious behavior. Apollo Landings

Clark C. McClelland, former, NASA, Space Shuttle Fleet, ScO states, “Yes, we landed 6 of 7 Apollo’s on the Moon in what NASA realized were heavily loaded with valuable tons of Helium-3 (H-3) regions. All six are on each of those H-3 landing sites . that are very important and valuable.”

Sleuths Study Ancient UFOs

One of the best-known scientific sleuths of UFO sightings is focusing his search not on today's flying saucers, but on the sky wonders of antiquity. Jacques Vallee the French-born computer whiz and who served as the model for Francois Truffaut's UFO-hunting character in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind." He's a co-author of a newly published book, "Wonders in the Sky," that lists 500 unexplained aerial observations dating back as far as 1460 B.C. and going up to the dawn of the industrial age in 1879. About 90 percent of UFO reports turn out to have perfectly natural explanations, but Vallee says the reports that remain unexplained are provocative enough that they deserve more thoroughgoing study. Jacques Vallee: Many of the reports in our book came from professional scientists in the 18th and 19th centuries including two directors of the Paris Observatory. Many of the cases, both ancient and modern, involve trained people such as the entire crew of an aircraft ... and official cases involving near-collisions. Lost India City Dwarka Could Rewrite History

The remains of what has been described as a huge lost city may force historians and archaeologists to radically reconsider their view of ancient human history. Marine scientists say archaeological remains discovered 36 meters (120 feet) underwater in the Gulf of Cambay off the western coast of India could be over 12,000 years old. The vast city - which is five miles long and two miles wide - is believed to predate the oldest known remains in the subcontinent by more than 6,000 years.

It's possible that the submerged city could be part of the great lost culture of Atlantis. I met with Dr. Robert Schoch whose research of the erosion of the Egyptian Sphinx and the findings at Gobekli Tepe in Turkey indicate civilizations on Earth are much older than archeologists are taught perhaps dating to 8,000 BCE at the end of last ice age. Sea levels during the last ice age were 390 feet lower so many important cities from that time are now under the oceans. There are hundreds of detailed ancient texts that include astronomical reference points, and geological information, and we can use star charts to pinpoint when the ancient events they wrote about took place.

Interestingly, in Egypt the Dendera Zodiac shows the skies above Giza at 8,000 BC-- thousands of years before the Egyptian culture should have existed. Some of the best evidence for advanced ancient technology comes from samples of vitrification at megalithic sites. The huge structures were built without mortar, and the only way they could have done that was to have super heated the stones into a magma-like state, which implies the use of a sophisticated technology not associated with the ancients. Debris recovered from the Dwarka site - including construction material, pottery, sections of walls, beads, sculpture and human bones and teeth has been carbon dated and found to be nearly 9,500 years old. The city is believed to be even older than the ancient Harappan civilization, which dates back around 4,000 years. Author and film-maker Graham Hancock - who has written extensively on the uncovering of ancient civilizations claims, "Cities on this scale are not known in the archaeological record until roughly 4,500 years ago when the first big cities begin to appear in Mesopotamia. Nothing else on the scale of the underwater cities of Cambay is known. There's a huge chronological problem in this discovery. It means that the whole model of the origins of civilization with which archaeologists have been working will have to be remade from scratch," he said. Jupiter's moon has layers of water, possibly life

As club sandwiches go, this undoubtedly is the biggest one in the solar system. Scientists said that Jupiter's moon Ganymede may possess ice and liquid oceans stacked up in several layers much like the popular multi-layered sandwich.

They added that this arrangement may raise the chances that this distant icy world harbors life. NASA's Galileo spacecraft flew by Ganymede in the 1990s and confirmed the presence of an interior ocean, also finding evidence for salty water perhaps from the salt known as magnesium sulfate. Ganymede, which with its diameter of about 5 300 km, is the largest moon in the solar system and is bigger than the planet Mercury. Bubbling thermal vents a team of scientists performed computer modeling of Ganymede's ocean, taking into account for the first time how salt increases the density of liquids Steve Vance, an astrobiologist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California, said the arrangement might be like this: at the top, a layer of ice on the moon's surface, with a layer of water below that, then a second layer of ice, another layer of water underneath that, then a third layer of ice, with a final layer of water at the bottom above the rocky seafloor. "That would make it the largest club sandwich in the solar system", Vance said in a telephone interview. Ganymede boasts a lot of water, perhaps 25 times the volume of Earth's oceans. Its oceans are estimated to be about 800 km deep. Ganymede is one of five moons in the solar system thought to have oceans hidden below icy surfaces. Two other moons, Europa and Callisto, orbit the big gas planet Jupiter. The moons Titan and Enceladus circle the ringed gas planet Saturn.

Strange Weather

Our weather appears abnormal snow, tornadoes, wild fires, and drought occurring simultaneously in different parts of the United States. Why? I suggest someone or something is messing with our weather. Chemtrails exist and may lead to unknown consequences. China and Russia brag about making it rain and snow. They even export technology to other countries such as Mexico where rain making technology is bringing fertility to Central Mexico. A small change in Mexico's rainfall may bring tornadoes to the Midwest or a draught in the West. The Joplin Missouri Tornado killed 161 people in May of 2011. stronger building codes and shelters could have saved many.

However, tornado seeding and taming aircraft may have saved all their lives.

Chairman of the Natural Resources Stewardship Project, Tim Ball, argued that the issue of climate change has become politicized and exploited, and has led to the undermining of scientific objectivity. A small group of people saw environmentalism and global warming and climate change as a vehicle for a political agenda, but when the science showed that global warming wasn't really happening, they switched over to climate change, moving the "goalpost," he lamented. Further, this group has claimed that "carbon pollution" or man-made CO2 has caused the problem.

“This group doesn't want to let go of their political agenda and keeps raising the ante-- they want people to be scared, and surrender all control to them, he continued. Ball says he's been lambasted for being a skeptic, yet maintaining a skeptical stance is really practicing good science, he suggested. Pyramids in Italy

Montevecchia -- We have also learned of pyramids discovered near the town of Montevecchia (40 kilometers from Milan), in Italy. The discovery was initially made by satellite. These are the first pyramids ever discovered in Italy.

Their dimensions are quite impressive. The highest pyramid is 150 meters tall. They are stone buildings, as recent excavations have proved. However, they are now completely covered by ground and vegetation, so that they now look like hills. The inclination degree of all the three pyramids is 42/43° and their alignment is very similar to that of the Egyptian pyramids. Their age is still undefined although they are surely older than 3,000 years. Nothing was found nearby which may help to date the structures. In early 2003, the pyramids of Montevecchia (“Old Mountain"), ca. 30 miles from the Italian city of Milan, were discovered through the use of satellite and aerial imagery. These pyramids are now completely covered by ground and vegetation and appear to be natural hills, but the possibility of something more was enough for the Czech WM magazine and their editor in chief Georg Wojnar to visit the area. The team concluded the first pyramid had a base of 100 metres, with a height of 50 metres. Three potential pyramids were surveyed, with one pyramid showing clear signs of stones worked into the structure. All three structures had an inclination of 42/43 degrees. The sides of all pyramids were aligned and were offset from the cardinal points by 7 to 12 degrees northeast. From the initial aerial surveys, there was speculation that their layout compared to the pyramids of the Gizeh plateau – and thus to the Belt of Orion. The Czech team stated that their on-site research had showed that the pyramids actually aligned with the passing of Orion at the sunrise of the summer solstice. Sims spent Friday out in Central Texas testing out new UFO-hunting night-vision equipment but his media rep Jolene Ray Harrington confirmed that a second season is likely. Sims is one of four alien investigators on the show who travel the U.S. interviewing potential abductees about their experience. He claims to be one of the world's leading experts on UFOs. Sightings in the United States

Alaska Light

Anchorage -- This is my third report to MUFON and with each sighting significantly becoming more sophisticated. I watch them every night and have since late last summer. On May 8, 2014, they would stay in the same position for many days then change positions for a period of time. When they finished they would move on to another position. They went from coastal areas, to neighborhoods and to the airport. I have watched these orbs since July 2013. Hats off to MUFON, where would we be without them investigating. Last week, I viewed many bright shiny objects in the sky all around. There were so many in every direction, I couldn't begin to count them flying at different elevations. Some would appear and disappear instantly, while others would stay out and remain in place for long lengths of time. I have taken many pictures and some are in color as well as others being white/grayish or otherwise. I believe those are beams from the lower in elevation appearing orb, which I have viewed. In my photos there are two parts one primary upper orb and the lower seems to be the object that is doing the gathering of data and imaging. I saw the orange circle through my neighbor's fence in my backyard. I had my Husband go outside on our back deck to see this bright orange appearing circle, also. Because of the photos I have taken, especially in recent months, I have come to the opinion; these orbs are taking pictures of many things such as buildings, airports and yes, even vehicles. Alabama Light

Lake View -- During the night of 5 May and morning hours of 6 May 2014 my outside surveillance camera video recorded a triangular object hovering above my driveway on three different times. They were 1930.57 on 5 May, 2230.30 on 5 May 14, 0127.52 on 6 May 14, and 0503.45 on 6 May 14. Each video recorded for 40 seconds. During each recording the object did not move. It appeared to just hover above my drive way with lights shining. One light can be seen projected in my front yard using another camera (the blueish looking one. I did not witness this because I was asleep. I do recall my dog starting barking during the night. All of the snapshots are taken of video from my 3 motion activated cameras. Thanks to MUFON CMS.

California Cylinder

Walnut -- I was outside in my front yard where there was empty sky now appeared two spinning disc shaped fiery orbs on January 10, 2014. At first I thought two jet planes were turning on their chemtrails so I grabbed my Smartphone and videoed those objects. They were not any man made craft. We all agreed unanimously that no plane hovers in the sky and then moves that distance in 12 minutes unless there are a vast distance away from the planet say outside of earth's atmosphere. Apparently with a fiery glow a slowly shifting spinning fuel/ from the sun’s corona to the power supply energy of what I come to realize were not only vastly far, but vastly huge alien spacecrafts refueling there core reactors utilizing the invisible energies of the sun’s outer atmosphere rendering them very visible now. Pointing the camera in the same direction two more larger or slightly closer objects appear to be tracing the exact same flight path. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Colorado Disc

Delta -- I was out in the desert at Adobe Buttes and put my camera on top of my Jeep and let the video run. While the camera was running I wasn't looking up and was just playing with my dogs. When I came home and uploaded the film onto my computer is when I noticed this flash on the screen at 15 seconds into the video. The object looks like it has a dark body with white wings. Crows or kildeer are possible but none were there because the dogs always scare them away. The object flashes on the screen for a split second. It only appears in one frame. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Illinois Object near Moon

Maalot -- I was on my way to the mall walking at my neighborhood suddenly I noticed a glowing object flying in the sky near the moon on July 16, 2013. I thought it was strange and unlike anything known so I took out the cell phone and started filming the object . The object flickered, went up and down and after about half a minute disappeared from view I felt passionate and shocked to photograph the event because I felt something unusual happened. Kentucky Teardrop

Williamsburg -- I was smoking on my back porch about 2 AM on May 7th and noticed the brightest thing in the sky was not the moon. As the moon was to my southeast and this orb was to my southwest. I have seen from one to 4 at a time what look like glowing orbs. The latest one maneuvered in a small area, then slowly faded away. I uploaded it on to my PC and inverted the colors and changed the contrast. In doing this I was able to still see the object after it faded. It appears to shoot up into the sky at great speeds. Montana Wildlife Camera

Roundup -- The image was captured by my wildlife camera and zoomed in May 7, 2014. I only check the cameras once a week but my Moultrie cameras are very sensitive and capture blades of tall grass blowing and other things. Sometimes I have between 500 and 2,000 images to look through. On Saturday I went up to check my 3 cameras and came back home to view the photos on my laptop. I found a series of photos it captured on May 7, 2014 at 11:44 A.M. When I zoom in the photo becomes blurry and hard to see clearly what the object is. Although it is blurry you can clearly see the object is blimp shaped. It is white/grey on the top and the bottom appears to be a dark purple color. I am not trying to claim this is a UFO and I do not know if it was flying or actually landed. Thanks to MUFON CMS

New Hampshire Orb

Littleton -- Hiking in a snowstorm in the White Mountains I took some pictures of strange objects hovering around us. They were landing at our feet and were up in the branches. I took several pictures of tree branches and later noticed the strange object sitting on a branch which I cannot explain or can my wife who was with me that day. The birds were acting odd. We returned to this exact site months later in order to see if this object might have been some sort of device set in these same branches but found no evidence. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Pennsylvania Lights

Collegeville -- I was driving home on Ridge Pike around 9:15 PM on May 4, 2014, and saw 7 orange glowing lights in the sky. They looked like they were hovering and on fire. I was very curious about them because they did not look like stars or any kind of craft. I went into my yard 9:30 PM, and stood there for 10 minutes and saw other ones that were moving fast and heading north. One or two would be visible and then fade off. We observed this object change shape at least 5 times before lowering some sort of appendage from its bottom. Australia Sightings

Seal Rocks, New South Wales -- We sitting on a rocky headland fishing when we noticed two orange circular glowing objects at 11 PM on April 22nd 2014. The lights were in a level elevation and a distance apart and both glowed and lasted for five seconds. A short time later we noticed three lights to the east of our position that glowed in twos and threes at once several times. The lights flew suddenly north again in a group at various elevations. The reflection from the orange glow was visible on the ocean surface so they had a fairly low altitude. The lights moved silently and continued to appear in different locations until we departed.

Inverell, New South Wales –Both witnesses confirm that it definitely was not an animal such as a bat or a bird on May 2nd 2014 at 7:30 PM. The object emitted blue light and flew very close across the front to rear of their vehicle which was travelling into Inverell township. Both witnesses believe it was not an aircraft and was oval shaped, one large oval and two smaller oval shapes attached to it on each side like wings. Moggill, Brisbane, Queensland – I was outside having a cigarette and saw what looked a star at 9 PM, on May 6th 2014, but it was moving at a considerable speed in a straight line towards the Sunshine Coast. It flew into a cloud and caused it to glow but could not see any flashing lights and no headlights. There was just one solid light that came out from behind the cloud until it just vanished.

Ballarat, Victoria – A large object was moving in the sky on May 7th 2014 at 11:50 PM. It appeared large compared with the stars, silent and glowing red.

Sarajevo -- I saw flashing lights in the sky and photographed them getting this picture on May 7, 2014. It stood still in the sky for about 10 minutes and then I finished my cigarette and had to return to work. I kept the camera pointed towards the sky, but later I realized that it does not have memory. Keep your eyes on the sky guys and you will see! Thanks to MUFON CMS

Morro dos Conventos -- Three girls were taking photos of the sea when the birds were agitated and the object appeared and the girl with the camera managed to capture an image. In the second photo the object and the birds in the sky that were there previously all disappeared. The girls were startled and cried. Several of the girls saw the object and were frightened. Canada Jet Sound

Kelowna, British Columbia -- I heard a loud jet like noise so I looked up only to discover there was no jet in the sky on April 28th 2014 at 3:05 PM. But what I did see was this bright white roundish object in the sky, so I took a picture with my phone but not sure if I captured the object because it was so sunny and bright out that I couldn't see my phones screen. Limerick City, Munster -- My wife and I were watching a fireworks display from our hotel when she pointed out a light in sky that looked a bit like a star on May 3rd 2014, at 10 PM. It was behind the fireworks and shot up, stayed still for a moment then moved really fast a few miles across the sky and continued for about ten minutes then it shot off. India Unknown Three Fireballs.

Hoshiarpur – Around 10 PM on 3 May 2014, my brother and I saw three fireballs in sky in one line one after another. I don't know what they were, but it might be a UFO as they moved with same speed. They increased speed after five seconds and flew away from us silently. After 20-25 minutes we saw another UFO with a different shape and a yellowish parrot color. Mexico Cylinder

Cancun -- It must have been about 8:30 PM when I observed a rectangle in the distance that was hovering over the Caribbean Sea, on May 7, 2014. I observed these phenomena south of Isla Mujeres from the 5th floor of the Hyatt Regency in Cancun, where I was staying. I was fast enough to capture this object on HD video camera. It stays still for about two minutes and then it disappears on the video. It was long grey rectangular object. Thanks to MUFON CMS

South Africa Round Object

Parkhurst, Johannesburg, Guateng -- We saw five big round white objects moving over our house on May 11th 2014 at 3:10 PM. My husband a very experienced pilot said that, “One object reflected red/pink and the one other object reflected green.” To me they just looked white and were flying in formation over us. They turned north and carried on that way until out of sight. Sheldon, Birmingham, West Midlands -- I was driving to work Friday morning April 18th 2014, about 7:15 AM, when something caught my eye in the sky. When I looked up it was a very bright round light that looked metallic. It was not a plane or helicopter. I took my eyes off it for a split second to look at the road when I looked back again it had gone. Air Force prepares to dismantle HAARP ahead of summer shutdown

The U.S. Air Force gave official notice to Congress Wednesday that it intends to dismantle the $300 million High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program in Gakona this summer.

The shutdown of HAARP, a project created by the late Sen. Ted Stevens when he wielded great control over the U.S. defense budget, will start after a final research experiment takes place in mid-June, the Air Force said in a letter to Congress Tuesday.

The University of Alaska has expressed interest in taking over the research site, which is off the Tok Cutoff in an area where black spruce was cleared a quarter-century ago for the Air Force backscatter radar project that was never completed. But the school has not volunteered to pay $5 million a year to run HAARP.

Responding to questions from Sen. Lisa Murkowski during a Senate hearing Wednesday, David Walker, deputy assistant secretary of the Air Force for science, technology and engineering, said this is “not an area that we have any need for in the future” and it would not be a good use of Air Force research funds to keep HAARP going. “We’re moving on to other ways of managing the ionosphere, which the HAARP was really designed to do,” he said. “To inject energy into the ionosphere to be able to actually control it. But that work has been completed.”

Comments of that sort have given rise to endless conspiracy theories, portraying HAARP as a superweapon capable of mind control or weather control, with enough juice to trigger hurricanes, tornadoes and earthquakes.

Scientists say all of that is nonsense, and that the degree of ionosphere control possible through HAARP is akin to controlling the Pacific Ocean by tossing a rock into it.

Built at a cost of more than $290 million, the site has 180 antennas on 30 acres that are used to direct energy into the ionosphere, which is 55 miles to 370 miles above the Earth, and monitor changes in the flow of charged particles. Stevens was the godfather of HAARP, which he helped start two decades ago with annual earmarks slipped into the defense budget.

At the hearing on defense research and innovation, featuring six representatives of the Pentagon, no one said HAARP has a future in the defense budget.

Walker said the Air Force has maintained the site for several years and the last project is one by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Once completed, the site will close.

DARPA Director Arati Prabhakar said, “The ‘P’ in DARPA is projects. We’re not in the business of doing the same thing forever, so very naturally as we conclude that work, we’re going to move on. It’s not an ongoing need for DARPA despite the fact that we had actually gotten some good value out of that infrastructure in the past.”

Walker said the Air Force would like to remove critical equipment this summer to avoid the expense of winterization.

Alan Shaffer, assistant secretary of defense for research and engineering, said HAARP is a “world-class facility,” but the department does not need it anymore.

“With all the other issues and problems and challenges facing the department at this time, we just don’t see that that investment, over a long-term period, is where we would prioritize our investment,” said Shaffer.

“No one else wants to step up to the bill, ma’am,” Shaffer said to Murkowski.

On another topic, Murkowski asked Shaffer about small modular nuclear reactors for remote areas. She said, for example, Eielson Air Force Base could benefit from “reliable energy security that nuclear power can provide.”

Shaffer said the “sticker shock” of an initial $1 billion investment for a small nuclear reactor is a huge obstacle. – ADN

Women encounter witch in woods

Two women got more than they bargained for when they camped out in the woods near Bristol.

Lola Swan and Kate Channon had set up their tent and camping equipment in dense woodland on the outskirts of the city in the hope of enjoying a relaxing night under the stars, but as darkness fell things started to take a turn for the worse.

“During the night we heard the sounds of, what can be described as, people walking around,” said Lola. “Twigs and branches were cracking and breaking, like footsteps on the forest ground.”

The women became increasingly aware of the feeling of being watched but were unable to see signs of anyone else in the area. At one point Kate whistled out and was terrified to hear someone whistling back at her from the darkness. Some of their camping tools also seemed to have gone missing.

The two friends eventually made the decision to flee after hearing what sounded like a baby crying at around 1am. “After midnight it all got too scary and, in our panic and fear, packed up our tent and got the hell out of there,” said Lola.

The experience didn’t end there however, as the following morning while flicking through the photographs they had taken in the woods Lola discovered an image showing what appeared to be a strange glowing figure in the background.

Tall man in the basement

My name is Tess and I’m 20 year’s old now. When I was young, me and my sister both hallucinated (and dreamnt of) a tall man in our basement. We spent our childhood’s being frightened of him and until I was about 10, he was in every nightmare I had. Not always the center of attention, but often off to the side… just watching. My first experience began when I was 6, my sister was 8 and we were home alone. I was blasting music quite loudly from the back of the kitchen (where the stair’s to the basement are) – and suddenly heard a man shouting; “Turn that fucking shit off”. I immediately turned it off assuming it was a systematic error from within the stereo and called my sister over. We hung about next to the stair’s and shouted out to him; “Hello?” He responded with “Hey”. A conversation, short answer’s and rustling and grumbling began between my sister and I and the man downstairs. We were not scared, and had signaled my neighbor who was in our backyard for help. Soon there were neighbor’s covering all exit’s of the house and the cop’s were called, and we stated to him “leave the way you came in”. At this point we began to hear footsteps come up the stairs and bolted for the door, but we stopped halfway and saw that nobody was there. The cop’s found nothing.

After this experience thing’s changed a lot for me. Between the age’s of 6 and 10 I often heard him speaking in the basement and every once in a while I would respond. Around 10 thing’s got a little worse. I began waking up (at 3 am) every morning to some sort of disturbing phenomenon, some time’s I would see a little boy sitting in the middle of my room who would disintegrate. He did not scare me. Other time’s I would wake up to screaming, right against my bloody ear. I could feel the heat of breath and my ear drums would shake. Once I awoke to my stereo flying across my room and smashing into my mirror. The most disturbing of all these experiences – though, was this. I awoke one morning (3 am) and nothing WOKE me up. So I was terrified waiting for something to happen. An apparition to appear or something. I had often been calling for my mother on these occasions and she would come up to my bed and lay with me until I fell asleep. So in my fear, I called to her. She yelled back to me “come downstair’s”. And so I did. I did not find it odd as I went downstairs that ALL the light’s were off. It was as if I was in a trance. I called out “Mom?!” and she responded “I’m in the basement”. It only hit me as I got close to the basement that it was odd for my mother to be down there, at 3 am in the dark. It was as if I had broken from the trance. I picked up my phone and rang my sister, only to find out my mother was not home at all. I was 13 when this happened and a border who lived with us when I was little (in the room I lived in then) had a similar experience, which I found out about year’s later.

Thing’s cooled off for a while. Nothing too weird, but I was home much less. When I was 14, I had my first widely shared experience. I had my first boyfriend and my best friend with me. I told them the stories of my past and they were eager to experience it themselves… so we did what dumb kid’s do. We waited until 3 am and then went down to the basement. I was terrified but eager to experience. We went into the boiler room, a tiny room that barely fit the three of us. I said what dumb kid’s say; I provoked. “You’re so big and bad when I’m home alone, you can talk but you can’t show your face eh? Scared of us kid’s?”. At this point I saw my friend grab my boyfriend’s leg. This confused me. I looked at her and noticed she was staring at the ground in fear. I turned to my boyfriend and noticed he was doing the same. I was sitting behind the boiler, so I had to lean over to look through the doorway (which they both had a clear view of). And there he was. Hard to explain, very pale, deathly looking face. Long black silhouette. The most frightening thing about it was his neck. It looked broken, his head was slanted in such a way it looked as if it was barely hanging on. We sat in that boiler room for what felt like forever, trapped. Unable to breath. Unable to speak. Finally, I began to pray. I am not a religious person but I did not know what us to do. Finally, he was gone. We dispersed ever so quietly and didn’t speak of it much after.

Year’s pass, the activity slow’s. Every once in a while I’d hear my name being whispered or watch thing’s move on their own (entities would play with my cat’s/move thing’s across the floor). At 17 I saw an apparition again, I hadn’t been living at home prior though. I awoke in my bedroom and knew there was somebody behind me (I was facing the wall). I knew when I turned I would see them. And I did. There was a very VERY tall woman, so tall she had to slouch under the ceiling because she could not fit. Under her shawl, one each side were two smaller women. The taller woman said in a very aggressive manner, “Leave this reserve now”. I left and slept at my friend’s that night.

Another year or two passed. I wasn’t home often. I made a friend who was all about paranormal investigating. At first he was excited and saw it like a game – that changed quickly. I decided to conquer my fear’s of the basement. It started by accident as I learned there was underground tunnel’s that ran through my neighborhood during the time of the underground railroad. Me and him went down to remove what seemed to be a ‘false wall’. We decided to record the experience and accidentally caught some paranormal stuff. We were not looking per say, rather experimenting not expecting a result. Here is the result of that;

The quality removed much of the girl that appear’s behind my friend, but what’s really interesting is the man coughing in the background. Very, very odd.
Time passes and we begin to get LOADS of EVP’s. All of them were on my computer which crashed about 8 month’s ago (SO SORRY!). The most interesting of the EVP’S was, when we asked “why don’t you speak louder?” We got the reply “I cant, I can’t, he’ll chop my head off”. This brought me back to the experience with the man in my basement with the “seemingly” dismembered head. At one point my friend went a little overboard, and a little too far. We were sitting next to the basement, observing, when a woman began to laugh…loudly, hysterically. I ran (ofcourse) in tear’s. It was so loud and frightening. But my friend? He strolled away casually (laughing about with her). He aggravated them (I think) because of what happened next. He’d often refer to them as “his friend’s” and one night, our last night investigating because it was getting really weird… my friend got cut. He was a snappy dresser, so he ALWAYS had his dress shirt tucked in. As we came out of the basement he stated his side was hurting. So he pulled the shirt out of his pant’s and under the material his skin has a perfect cut. It looked like a scalpel could have done it, it was pretty deep. Yet his shirt was not ripped nor touched. He removed the shirt, put it in his briefcase and we went to bed. The next morning we returned to it and the shirt has been torn up. It was brand new and very strong material.

GIANT CIGAR-SHAPED UFO CLOSE TO INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION!

Video footage captured from the live camera stream of the International Space Station (ISS) shows what appears to be a giant cigar shaped UFO hovering nearby. The live footage was captured on May 13, 2014 and has been archived on the ISS video channel on Ustream. The UFO appears to have up to half a dozen orange lights flashing on and off in a random manner, and is stationary relative to the ISS though at some distance away.

It appears for approximately seven minutes before fading away. The footage was taken by one of the ISS external cameras that are normally directed earthwards. The stationary nature of the UFO and the way it slowly disappears has led some to conclude it is little more than a lensflare. Not so according to Blake Cousins who was the first to upload a recording of the ISS live video feed on his popular YouTube channel, Thirdphaseofmoon. He along with a co-host believe the footage may be evidence of an alien mothership tracking the ISS.

The footage of the UFO has been given a preliminary examination by Cousins who enhanced the lighting and contrast to determine what kind of an object it is. His analysis suggests that it is a solid object and not a lensflare. If it is a genuine alien vehicle as Cousins contends, then it appears to be deliberatedly tracking the ISS. For what purpose?

America’s Stonehenge May Be 4,000 Years Old–Was it Built by the Celts?

Studying the origins of the aptly named Mystery Hill megaliths, also known as America’s Stonehenge, whets one’s curiosity but does not satisfy—unless one is satisfied by the excitement of confounding mystery alone.

The site, in North Salem, N.H., includes stone monoliths and chambers spread across 30 acres.  The stones are said to have complex astronomical alignments. A 4.5-pound stone slab that seems to be the focal point of the site may have served as an altar for sacrifice. It is grooved with a channel for draining, possibly the blood of a victim.

A variety of characteristics have fueled a theory that America’s Stonehenge was built by Europeans as long ago as 2,000 B.C.—thousands of years before the first evidence of Viking settlement in North America. Archaeologists are divided. Some say evidence is lacking to support this theory and that the site may have been constructed in relatively recent times.

Many similar sites are found on the stretch from Maine to Connecticut, though none as expansive as Mystery Hill. Here’s a look at the site’s characteristics and the views of various experts.

Why it May Have Been the Celts

1. Glyphs seem to suggest an archaic Irish language, though any deciphering of the glyphs has been controversial.

2. It seems from astronomical alignment that the megaliths mark cross-quarter holidays. These holidays are only celebrated by the Celts, according to astronomer Alan Hill. Some have compared the megaliths to Stonehenge. 

3. “Carbon-14 results coincide with the date of a major immigration by Celts,” according to a book by David Goudsward and Robert Stone titled “America’s Stonehenge: The Mystery Hill Story, from Ice Age to Stone Age.” Stone bought the site in the 1950s and opened it to public viewing and to further research. Goudsward and Stone continue: “The Celtiberians [Celtic-speaking people of the Iberian Peninsula] interacted with Carthaginians, a nationality almost certain to have the skill to cross the Atlantic. However, there is not of the ornamentation on the stones that would be indicative of Celts.”

Carbon Dating

In 1969, archaeologist James Whittall unearthed stone tools at the site, along with charcoal flakes that could be carbon dated. The dating showed the tools’ user was working around 1,000 B.C., according to Goudsward and Stone.

Whittall recovered charcoal from several other locations on site and carbon dating ranged from 2,000 B.C. to 400 B.C. 

Dating Using Astronomical Alignments

Astrological alignments concur. Astronomer Dr. Louis Winkler, the principal site scientist, found the positions of some stones align with where the stars and other celestial objects would have been about 2,000 years ago. He has also done radiocarbon and laser theodolite dating to support a Bronze Age origin (2,000 B.C.–1,500 B.C.).

Anthropologist Bob Goodby of the New Hampshire Archaeological Society (NHAS) said the alignments are “coincidental.”

“With so much stone around, it wouldn’t be that difficult to find some alignments that correspond to celestial things,” Goodby told Boston University publication the Bridge. This isn’t the only “coincidence” cited by critics of the ancient-European-origin theory, nor the only one cited as a little too “coincidental” by supporters of the theory.

For example, critic Richard Boisvert, New Hampshire’s deputy state archaeologist, admitted the structures resemble ancient European megalithic structures, but that it’s a coincidence. He told Discovery that it’s a case of the same form fitting the same function.

Professor of astronomy at New Hampshire Technical Institute Alan Hill does not see the astronomical alignments as coincidence. He told New York Times that the megaliths mark cross-quarter days, the halfway points between the solstices and equinoxes. Celts are the only ones to celebrate cross quarter holidays, he said. Hill dismissed the theory that the structures are cellars built in the past few centuries, partly because the doors are not wide enough to admit wheelbarrows.

A local lawyer and mystery novelist, David Brody, told the Times there are too many similarly puzzling stones and structures in the region to write it all off as coincidence.

Stone-on-Stone Tools Suggest Primitive Builders

The builders apparently used stone tools, not metal tools. Boisvert’s boss, New Hampshire state archaeologist Gary Hume, told Discovery the stone-on-stone workmanship is similar to that of Native Americans. He was hesitant to say the megaliths could be 4,000 years old, but he seemed to leave the possibility open. He said he wasn’t going to question “the two reputable surveyors who had vouched for the alignments,” wrote Wright.

The Natives and the Celts are not the only groups archaeologists have pinned as the potential builders. 

Some say it may have been the Phoenecians, the people of an ancient kingdom on the Mediterranean. The standing stones align with the location of the polestar Thuban during Phoenician times, according to Wright.

Jonathan Pattee, a shoemaker and his family lived on the site throughout much of the 19th century, and many say he and his family built the structures. Dennis Stone, Robert Stone’s son who is also currently owner and operator of the site, told Discovery that some of the structures were probably built by Pattee, but certainly not all.

Others have also said the intricacies of construction and alignment were not likely carried out by the Pattee family, and the family would have used metal tools, not stone tools.

Goodby and other critics of the ancient-origin theory say archaeologists would have found signs of people living on or near the site, such as burial grounds. He said the sacrificial stone was probably actually a place for inhabitants in more recent history to make soap. Whatever the theories, as  Goudsward and Stone write: “There has been so much damage in the last four millennia that no matter who you believe built the site, there is just enough physical evidence to warrant further investigation along that line. This has produced a spectrum of theories as wide and expansive as the skies that may or may not be charted by the ancient monoliths.”
