Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.
This is our new dog Kira, a cross between a water dog and a Podenko. She has been with us since February 7, 2024 and is busy winning our hearts. She is a sweet, affectionate dog who quickly adapted to us within a week. She is very quick and curious, a very different dog than Noleke.

In the past several weeks, the subject of livestock mutilations has been discussed...in particular, on Beyond The Edge Radio with our guests Christopher O'Brien and JC Johnson. In the past, I have posted a few of the investigations by JC Johnson and his group Crypto Four Corners in relation to some of these mutilations. I thought it would be prudent to re-publish two of the accounts from 2010-11, so the readers had a better idea of what these investigators have been seeing and discussing:
Sheep Mutilation Mystery - Dine' Navajo Reservation, Near Hogback, NM
According to my friend and colleague J.C. Johnson of Crypto Four Corners, in March 2010, 24 sheep were mutilated at a farm near Hogback, New Mexico, on the Dine' Navajo Reservation. The livestock owner explains that there were large talon marks but very little blood and no evisceration. Was this an attack by a large flying predator? Why were the carcasses left intact? Could this have been a Chupacabras? Was this another example of animal mutilation and experimentation by non-terrestrials, aliens or government entities?
J.C. mentioned that a large cryptid bird or pterosaur may have been responsible for this act. That theory is not as far-fetched as it may initially sound.
For many generations, people in New Mexico and parts of Texas say they've seen birds so big they seem prehistoric.
One man claims the rugged landscape near Las Cruces hides a mystery that's haunted him for several years.
Dave Zander has lived near the Doña Ana Mountains for more than 30 years spending almost all his spare time hiking, exploring and fossil hunting in the range between the Robledo and Organ mountains.
He saw something that he's unable to explain and many people find hard to believe.
He recalls the day eleven years ago when he spotted something extraordinary: two creatures perched on a mountain less than a mile away.
"These creatures were so huge they looked like the size of small planes," Dave Zander said. "All of the sudden one of them jumped off dropped off the top of the mountain, came down the front of the mountain and all the sudden these huge wings just spread out.
"I would say the wings were at least a 20-foot wingspan."
Definitely something out of the ordinary.
"Not a normal bird, definitely of a giant variety," Zander continued. "It makes you feel like it could come over and carry you off if it wanted to."
Zander witness a real-life scene out of the movie Jurassic Park?
One ancient bird in the vicinity is an Andean condor living at the Rio Grande Zoo in Albuquerque. But it's wingspan of 12 feet pales to what Zander described: birds with an unprecedented twenty-foot wingspan, with pink bald heads and all-black bodies, and feathers on their enormous wings.
There is nothing on modern record like it.
"In comparison a 20 foot wingspan would truly be a monster and something undocumented by science," cryptozoologist Ken Gerhard said. "I believe what Dave Zander may have seen are surviving teratorns."
Gerhard has made a career studying prehistoric birds.
"What's interesting the reports of these giant raptor-like birds to continue into modern times," he said. "We seem to have a large concentration of them here in the Southwest particularly in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas as well as New Mexico and parts of Arizona."
The book includes sightings in different clusters over the past 30 years.
In 1972 in Maxwell in northeastern New Mexico, Ronald Monteleone of Trinidad, Colo., reported what he thought was a pterodactyl flying out of an arroyo.
In Lordsburg in the 1800s locals talked constantly about the sightings of pterosaurs.
And a picture circulated the country in 1890 out of Tombstone, Ariz., but it's never been considered totally legitimate.
"Other eyewitnesses are describing specifically giant feathered dark birds with an enormous wing span," Gerhard said.
Gerhard said his research falls into two different descriptions from witnesses. Some said the birds look like the prehistoric pterodactyl while others, like the creatures described by Zander, resemble the ancient thunderbird from Native American mythology.
You can find thunderbird images atop many totem poles and also carved into the lava rocks of the Petroglyph National Monument in Albuquerque. Similar images are found in petroglyphs all over North America.
According to legend, the thunderbird is said to have a wingspan the length of two canoes with the ability to deafen people with the sound of its flapping wings.
"It is definitely a real animal, according to the native peoples that lived here," Gerhard said. "It's not necessarily a legendary animal."
Bloodless Carnage: Livestock Attacks Continue in the Four Corners

JC Johnson posted a video in July 2011 that referenced a recent raid and killing of 7 sheep, including a large ram, on a farm in the Navajo lands in New Mexico. The culprit is unknown though evidence suggests a bi-pedal or upright creature. The most astonishing aspect of this particular raid is that there was very little blood found at the scene. Many of the sheep had puncture wounds but scant blood traces were left after the carnage. It didn't seem like there was any feeding on the carcasses...though the 300-400 lb. ram was dragged a fair distance.

There have been reports of canine-like hominids in the area...not unlike those described as shape shifters. In fact, there has been trace evidence collected at earlier events which is currently being tested for DNA.
Could this be an attack of a lycanthrope or possibly a skinwalker / Mai-cob? The activity suggests that, whatever it is roaming and hunting in the area, it will continue to do so.

He is a resident of the Dine Navajo reservation and this is a reply to an inquiry I made in a previous post. I have not changed anything in the email....completely original:
Well, where to start......? We are not skin walkers, we are "eaters of all" (closest translation I can do to our real name, sorry) We are old, so old that some of us remember this world when it had many moons and the land flowed like water. We are not evil, nor good. We just are. In the way of modern thinking, we are like animals; not fallen from grace, and speak and hear God directly. I don't know if we have souls, because we don't die, just .... this is really hard to explain ..... we don't go dormant, just change the way we live. Right now I am Human. I look, feel, think, and act just like one of you. I will apparently die just like one of you, only to spread out from where my " mortal remains " fall or are eaten, adsorbed... or interred, mingling with the strings of life (another hard one to put into words) that come into contact with me. Until I decide to become one of them (I have sort of decided on one of the squids, we'll see how that works out). In the time between dedicated forms, we walk in our true forms, remembering all the things that we have been. Its hard to describe being many things at once, but we do go back to places we've been because the "memories of love"(?) draw us back. We watch over you as we are directed to do, letting you live your lives according to Law both good and bad as is the will of the Creator. You are right to fear us in our true forms because we do not think as humans do, but a collage of thoughts from many forms at once.
The Creator bid us to stay our feeding on you many many eons ago, but left us with the right to protect ourselves if threatened in any of our forms (careful with that fly swatter or bar of soap). We have the ability to grasp your, or any other creatures mind if we choose, and hold them while we eat. In this form it is a very unpleasant thought and leaves me nauseous just thinking about it. All of us by now (except the ones that left this world early on for "walk about" or from the great shame) have spent many lifetimes in human form and almost all of them love people deeply. Every creature on this world fears us because you are all from survivors that have sensed us in true form. We have to calm you to walk among you even in dedicated forms.
We have traits that can be used to identify us in any of our forms. The closest thing that I can call them is "tells" mine is that I don't eat feet (yuck how nasty, .....this includes fins, hooves, tips of tentacles, pads, wing feathers or anything used as contact points for locomotion blahhhhuch). One of my co cross mates (don't ask, we have 17 separate sexes, talk about a bitch on Friday nights) will not eat anything "purple" as she sees it. Another friend of mine dislikes certain forms of nerve tissue, says it makes him itch. Short of these little peccadilloes we can consume almost anything and derive energy for life from it, from sunshine to radionuclide and every thing in between, yummy (I know, I know, "feet" have all that and more too but eeuuuuwwww!!) ! I personally have always wanted to taste anti-matter but have never gotten around to going above the cloud tops to taste any. Well, I am rambling on a bit too much, and I have to go to sleep because I have to go to work in the morning, I thought you should know some more about what we are.

“On May 15th, the Russian Proton-M rocket exploded nine minutes into its flight, but lucky for us it was all caught on video. The video shows a UFO flying from the right to the left. Just as the UFO hits the rocket, the rocket flames begin to change. At first it looked like a missile, but the object that hit looks round, like an orb,” reports Scott Waring, author of UFO Sightings Daily.
“Another possibility is the rocket was shot down. A heat seeking missile would also bend to hit the heat of the engine” says Waring.

CPC Heilongjiang Provincial Committee Propaganda Department confirmed that three unidentified flying objects (UFOs) fell from the sky today, and has plunged into Yian and Baiquan municipal territory under Qiqihar, Heilongjiang Province.

Waring says, “Three UFOs fell from the sky to land in two different provinces in China. People got a few photos, but then China Government people appeared really fast and stop them and made all the people leave. This looks like part of the UFO that hit the Russian Rocket just hours earlier. I told you in the report earlier it looks like an orb UFO hit the rocket, but they found three of them! They are in the hands of the Chinese now. Check out the video at bottom of this post.”
Three UFOs crashed in Heilongjiang cited arguments

Washington reported, according to the Committee Propaganda Department Yian noted Yian Shuangyang Meng Chang Village villagers heard this morning a huge piercing sound, after that some villagers witnessed a large fireball crossing the sky, falling within the farmers home vegetable garden.
Subsequently, the villagers photographed the UFO. According to photos, such as a round metal UFO peripheral package has jagged circle edges, and looked like a monks hat or cap on in Mongolia.
Reports as of now, Baiquan Qiqihar, Heilongjiang Province, also found that two UFOs crashed together, shaped like the first object. At the place that they fell, the UFOs have been blocked by authorities. Relevant personnel came to the scene, measuring and researching it.
This news immediately became a hot topic in website “Mainland Friends.” Friends saw the photo that this is possibly an alien probe, satellite or space debris; Some people joked that it was ” Which country is spying on neighboring China?” There are people that said this is space junk; also people believe that this is a Russian rocket launch failure that happened this morning.
However, in the end these three UFOs are still under official investigation. (Which means the China govt has sealed these files and UFOs away-SCW).
The huge funnel-like cloud was spotted by renowned photographer Ana Filipa Scarpa in Vila Franca de Xira, north of Lisbon, Portugal
Ana, 54, spotted the 1,000-foot-high swarm of bugs which was thought to be made from red locusts in an area known as Leziria Grande – meaning big plain.
The massive tornado of insects was about a quarter of a mile from Ana when she took these amazing pictures on March 9.
Ana, who has had work selected for the Sony World Photography Award 2014, said it was a mixture of awe and fear when she realised it wasn’t wind making the cloud.
She said: “At first I believed it was a wind twister, the animals around me were very nervous.
“I stayed in my place and looked for a safe place, but there was none, and at the same time the twister was never reaching me.
“So I entered my car and drove towards it. After same metres I realised that an enormous amount of insects were in fact the tornado.
“I suppose it would be better a wind twister, than a bug twister. I cannot imagine what could happen to me if they had caught me.
“It’s not known for sure what kind of bugs make up this swarm, but they may be red locusts.
“The swarm extended perhaps 1,000 ft. It was nearly a quarter of a mile away from my position and I took the picture with a 200 mm lens.
“Perspective makes the leading edge of the swarm appear smaller and thus tapered.” – Canters News Agency
Pentagon document lays out battle plan against zombies
Never fear the night of the living dead — the Pentagon has got you covered.
From responses to natural disasters to a catastrophic attack on the homeland, the U.S. military has a plan of action ready to go if either incident occurs. It has also devised an elaborate plan should a zombie apocalypse befall the country, according to a Defense Department document obtained by CNN.
In an unclassified document titled “CONOP 8888,” officials from U.S. Strategic Command used the specter of a planet-wide attack by the walking dead as a training template for how to plan for real-life, large-scale operations, emergencies and catastrophes.
And the Pentagon says there’s a reasonable explanation.
“The document is identified as a training tool used in an in-house training exercise where students learn about the basic concepts of military plans and order development through a fictional training scenario,” Navy Capt. Pamela Kunze, a spokeswoman for U.S. Strategic Command, told CNN. “This document is not a U.S. Strategic Command plan.”
Nevertheless, the preparation and thoroughness exhibited by the Pentagon for how to prepare for a scenario in which Americans are about to be overrun by flesh-eating invaders is quite impressive. Continue reading at CNN
Resident in the Heilongjiang province in China reported seeing three UFOs darting across the sky and apparently one of them came crashing down into in a man’s vegetable garden.
According to Chinanews.com, villagers in Mengchang saw three objects falling from the sky this morning. Soon after they heard a “huge piercing sound,” and a huge ball of flame came crashing down into the vegetable garden of one of the villagers.
What they found in the garden looks straight out of a science-fiction movie. It appears to be a large metal ball covered by a layer of jagged material. According to China Radio International, China Central Television news is reporting the object to be about 2 and a half feet wide and weighing nearly 90 pounds.
Chinanews.com has suggested that the object could be related to the failure of a Russian rocket at about the same time. The rocket launch was at 3:42 am local time in Kazakhstan, which is 5:42 am in Beijing. The rocket failed 540 seconds into the flight at an altitude of nearly 100 miles.
The Proton-M rocket was carrying an advanced satellite. However, the head of the Russian national space agency, Roscosmos, told Russia Today the rocket and cargo burned up in the atmosphere and should not have caused any damage on the ground.
The Heilongjiang province is a long distance from Kazakhstan, but the timing is coincidental.
Woman lynched in Brazil after being accused of witchcraft on Facebook
In a bizarre incident, a mob reportedly lynched a Brazilian woman – suspected of being a witch – to death after a Facebook post for a local news outlet spread an alert, claiming that she had been seen abducting children.
The woman died in Guaruja city near Sao Paulo last week.
“Housewife Fabiane Maria de Jesus, 33, died on May 5 after being beaten by a group of people from Guarujá two days before,” said a report from Folha de Sao Paulo, the country’s largest newspaper on Tuesday.
“The lynching was motivated by a suspicion that Fabiane was connected to child abductions in the region thought to be linked to black magic rituals. According to military police, however, there is no indication that she had committed such a crime,” the report added.
According to the report, a sketch of the woman was included with the alert on Facebook and resembled the victim.
However, administrators for the Facebook page have released a statement denying responsibility for the attack. – Mid-Day
The case involves Luis Sergio Pucheta, a law enforcement officer who was allegedly pursued by two extraterrestrials. He was found 20 kilometers away from the place he disappeared from. The police officer who insisted back in 2006 that “red-eyed beings” had chased him and given him commands, has entered mandatory retirement. Since that time, he was deeply traumatized and was never able to return to work. He has now been given retirement.
According to Resolution 383, published in the Official Gazette, Luis Sergio Pucheta was transferred to the “mandatory retirement” list due to his inability to work as a policeman since the event, due to the trauma created. The case occurred in March 2006 between the communities of General Pico and Quemú Quemú. At the time, Pucheta was attached to the Anti-Cattle Rustling Division (División Anti-Abigeato) and patrolled the unimproved roads on his motorcycle at a location known as “El cruce de cañas” some 20 kilometers southeast of Pico. It was then that he radioed the police base to say “something strange was going on”, that he needed support and was on his way to investigate. Radio contact was lost immediately thereafter.
Below are the details of the case in a report drafted by researcher Quique Mario:
“After using his cellphone to contact a co-worker who was off, a spectacular search by elements of the law enforcement personnel from Regional Unit II under Inspector Roberto Ayala took place. From the early hours of the morning, the head of the police force, Commissioner Ricardo Badaux and the Minister of Safety, Interior and Justice, Dr. Juan Carlos Tierno, were on the scene.”

Area description: A rural crossroads. Characteristics common to those of any other area, with the exception of a large cane field to the west. As a main characteristic, it has a considerable extension, being over 300 meters long with a width varying between 2 and 3 meters. The roads were passable and in good condition before the rainfall, which started at around one in the morning.
Area location: The place where the episode occurred is part of the rural area of the locality of Dorila, heading toward Maisonave to the east.
Characteristics of the protagonist: At the time, he was a 31-year-old man in good physical condition, working for the Cattle Rustling section of UR-II headquartered in General Pico. He identified himself as Sergio Pucheta, married, with a wife in the late stages of pregnancy. According to testimony collected on the site and from co-workers, he was a normal person with no apparent family issues, owner of a business (on-line) and no outstanding financial obligations. He is well-thought of by his superiors.
Details to bear in mind: The officer “saw” something that led him to unholster his sidearm, his two-way radio and drop the cellphone. The event fosters one of the hypotheses put forth from the beginning: pressured by an unknown situation, the witness made these moves mechanically. According to his story, he tried to get away from the place because they were following him “…they followed me all night…” he repeated insistently.
It was in Lindley, NY on a warm summer night in July 1965, when a Steuben County family had their close encounter with a flying saucer.
Larry told me he was nine years old when it happened. The day had been very warm. Just after sunset Larry’s father loaded the family into the car for drive through the local country side to take in some cool country air. The family was traveling on Tannery Creek Rd. east toward Caton, NY. As they drove up and down the hilly back roads, Larry suddenly spotted something bright just above the tree line as they were approaching the outskirts of Caton. When Larry pointed this out to his parents, his dad pulled the car off the road and the whole family took a good look.
Larry explained to me that the object was perhaps a thousand yards away, and hovering just above the tree line. Initially he said that the object was sort of saucer shaped. A career engineer, he struggled for a better description, “it was very cylinder shaped but wide and flat like a tuna can, and it was huge.”
Looking at the floor he pondered for a few seconds then continued his description, “It had bright lights that ringed along the bottom perimeter. The lights flashed in an irregular pattern … almost giving the object the appearance that perhaps it was slowly rotating.”
He told me that his immediate family and one of his aunts were in a state of complete wonderment watching this amazing phenomena that was leisurely hovering over the local forest for perhaps five minutes.
Then the saucer shaped object suddenly began to slowly rise until it was perhaps twice the distance from the ground. It stopped for a moment then “shot away at tremendous speed!”
Larry got quiet. I could see it in his eyes; he was deep in that moment from so long ago. Then he looked at me and said, “The strangest and most unnerving thing about the whole sighting was that the craft didn’t make a single sound.”
I asked about the rest of the family’s reaction regarding what they had just seen. Larry explained that aside from being awe struck during the event, he couldn’t remember anyone except his elderly aunt mentioning the event ever again.
The last thing he said to me before departing, “You know you never quite forget a thing like this, it’s as clear to me now as it when it happened.”
I assured him that I hear that a lot from other folks with close encounters.

In 1967 stond de Britse astronoom Jocelyn Bell Burnell voor een raadsel toen ze mysterieuze signalen detecteerde van buiten het zonnestelsel. Volgens haar was het mogelijk dat de signalen waren verstuurd door een buitenaardse intelligentie, maar later werd bewezen dat ze afkomstig waren van pulsars.
Er zijn nu opnieuw mysterieuze signalen opgevangen, zogeheten korte radioflitsen, die astronomen hoofdbrekens bezorgen. Ze vragen zich af of we buitenaardse boodschappen hebben ontvangen.
Korte radioflitsen doen zich geheel willekeurig voor en zijn daardoor niet alleen moeilijk te vinden, maar ook moeilijk te bestuderen. Men weet niet precies hoe zo’n korte radioflits kan worden veroorzaakt.
De eerste korte radioflits werd in 2007 opgevangen door radiotelescopen. Het kostte sterrenkundigen jaren om vast te stellen dat het niet ging om een fout in de meetapparatuur. Het eerste signaal, dat vijf milliseconden duurde, is vernoemd naar zijn ontdekker, Duncan Lorimer.
Volgens schattingen doen zich iedere dag tot wel 10.000 radioflitsen voor. Men was daarom verbaasd dat er pas in 2012 weer één werd ontdekt. Ditmaal werd de korte radioflits gedetecteerd door de Parkes-telescoop in Australië.
In april dit jaar kregen astronomen de bevestiging dat deze signalen echt zijn, toen de enorme radiotelescoop in Puerto Rico een korte radioflits opving. Wetenschappers kunnen echter nog niets zeggen over de herkomst van deze mysterieuze signalen.

Three UFOs fell from the sky to land in two different provinces in China. One UFO crashed into the Heilongjiang BAIQUAN Yian territory! another UFO crashed into the province Yian, Baiquan territory. According Yian Chang Meng village villagers, they first heard strange loud noise, and then they saw a big ball of fire across the sky falling in a farm owned by a village family. MUFON Executive Director Jan C. Harzan said his group's participation began in Fall 2013 when show producers called with an interest in having Spurlock participate in UFO investigations.
“They wanted to train Morgan professionally as a UFO field investigator and then immerse him into one or more actual investigations,” Harzan said. “He took the training and the field investigation very seriously at sites around the country.”
The training portion of the show will include MUFON Chief Technical Adviser Chuck Modlin and STAR Team Manager Fletcher Gray. MUFON Georgia State Director Ralph Howard and MUFON Chief Photo Analyst Marc D'Antonio are also featured in the episode.
Communications Director Roger Marsh worked with both the CNN team and MUFON management and investigators to set up location shooting at multiple sites and to review current UFO sightings from around the country in search of good cases.
“Morgan's production team was very dedicated to finding the best cases,” Marsh said. “We were trying to find cases of interest and current cases both at the same time. Many functional directors, state directors and field investigators from MUFON were very involved in the selection process. A lot of people were involved who you won't see in the show.”
With an open mind, Spurlock steeps himself in the history, theories, and photographic evidence of UFO sightings, embedding himself at several MUFON locations and communicating with witnesses, conspiracy theorists and other interested parties to make his own determination as to whether or not we are truly alone in the universe.

Il est parvenu à mettre bout à bout les images prises depuis le rover lors de son atterrissage sur Mars, le 6 août 2012, pour en faire un film si remarquable que la Nasa elle-même l’utilise dans sa communication. Aujourd’hui, c’est un autre amateur qui se fait remarquer. Andrew Bodrov, photographe, a ainsi rassemblé près de 140 clichés acquis par Curiosity au cours d’une même journée pour réaliser un incroyable panorama autour du rover, qui illustre cet article. Ces images ont été acquises le 27 avril 2014 (sol 610) par la caméra Mastcam située sur le mât du rover.
Et le résultat vaut que l’on s’y attarde. La résolution est si fine que l’on peut voir de nombreux détails de la géologie du terrain comme les strates, les affleurements rocheux et autres roches de toutes formes, dont certaines sont rondes ! Un œil exercé remarquera même les différentes conditions de sédimentation.
Quant à Curiosity, il se situe près de la dalle de grès baptisée Windjana, où il vient de forer son troisième trou. Enfin, le rover apparaît étonnamment propre, très peu recouvert de poussière, et aucun équipement ou système apparent ne semble abîmé. Seule fausse note, les roues de Curiosity. Elles sont bien plus usées que prévu, mais leur état ne semble pas s’être aggravé depuis la découverte des premières perforations, en décembre 2013.
I have a very busy couple of weeks coming up and may not be able to post much here for a while. To hold you until I can get back to making regular posts I'll treat you to this fascinating case related to me by Turkish UFOlogist Esen Sekerkarar, one of the speakers at the UFO Symposium in which I recently took part.
I loved the story of the "Esme Alien" for a couple of reasons (and I can't thank Esen enough for sharing it with me). First, the alien entity is just ridiculously weird; a floating poached egg that is somehow creepy and cuddly at the same time. Second, the reaction of the witnesses is remarkable. Third, in this unique story the UFO and the entity are one and the same! How's that for efficiency?
Here, then, is the strange tale of the "Esme Alien":
The alien encounter incident took place in 2001. Three villagers; Fevzi Can, his wife Selma Can and their neighbour Aysel Topaloglu from Narli village in Esme district of the city Usak; woke up early in the morning to hoe their tobacco farm. It was about 7 in the morning. They got on the tractor, as they would always do, but on the way they saw something 30 cm. above the ground on a farm they were passing by. The thing was about 15 meters away from them. First, they did nothing but kept on driving. But as they drove, the being started to follow them on the same direction, still keeping the 15 meters distance in between. That was when the villagers got puzzled and Fevzi Can stopped the tractor and got off it to look closer what that was. The being started to rise in the air and approached towards them. It stopped about 2 meters away from Mr. Can and hovered about 2,5 meters above the ground. The thing was completely silent. No wings or no propellers were apparent. There wasn’t any noise of an engine either, but it was in the air. Mr. Can was astonished and confused by what he was looking at, so he thought of throwing a stone at it, thinking maybe he could drop it down and examine it closer. As soon as he had the thought of throwing a stone at it, the being started to rise in the air. Mr. Can threw a few stones at it, but all missed. The being rose about 5 meters then started to fly to the opposite side, all time facing the witnesses, and went away.
The villagers told that the being they saw was about 60-70 cm. tall, wearing a bright, gelatin-like suit with an orangish, reddish bright light in the belly part. It had an elliptical head and red-coloured feet. It had no arms and the legs looked like to be attached to each other forming a V shape. It had no ears, no nose nor a mouth. According to the witnesses’ testimony; the only facial detail that was apparent was its almond shaped eyes, which seemed to be glued on the suit.
Right after the encounter, the villagers went to Mehmet Yildirim, the head official of the district, and told him about their encounter. Mr. Yildirim notified the governor Ayhan Cevik right away. A security meeting took place and the bulletin including a sketch of the alien was distributed to the head official of the district, security superiors and gendarme commanders.
The combination UFO/entity was never seen again, which is remarkable when you consider the government's response to the report. Can you imagine anyone in the US reporting that story to their local government official, then the local official reporting it to the governor, then the governor holding a security meeting, then alerting all the security personnel and gendarmes in the district to watch for a peculiar little floating entity in a gelatin suit who can predict when someone is about to throw a stone at it? My guess is that that would never happen in the US.

Russian Proton-M rocket with an advanced satellite on board crashed outside of Kazakhstan’s territory on Friday, about nine minutes after lift-off. The Express-AM4R would have been Russia’s most advanced and powerful satellite.
The crash was likely caused by a failure in one of the third stage’s steering engines, reported Oleg Ostapenko, the head of the Russian national space agency Roscosmos.
“The exact cause is hard to establish immediately, we will be studying the telemetry. Preliminary information points to an emergency pressure drop in a steering engine of the third stage of the rocket,” he said.
However several Youtube users have suggested that the rocket was targeted by a UFO.
In the videos below you can see an object enter the screen from the right, it seems to pass through the tail of the rocket, then shortly after the rocket fails.

In 1967 British astronomer Jocelyn Bell Burnell was left stunned by mysterious pulsing signals she detected coming from outside the solar system.
For months she suggested the signals could be of an extraterrestrial intelligent origin, but they were later proven to be rapidly spinning stars known as pulsars.
However, a new series of mysterious signals, known as Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs), has again got astronomers scratching their heads and wondering if, maybe, we’re picking up alien messages.

FRBs are radio emissions that appear temporarily and randomly, making them not only hard to find, but also hard to study.
WHAT ELSE COULD THE SIGNAL BE?
Flaring star
Some stars are known to suddenly flare up on occasion. It’s possible that this event could send light through the thick ejected layers of a star’s atmosphere in bursts, but if this were the cause we would expect to find FRBs towards variable stars (ones with fluctuating brightness) in our galaxy, which is not the case.
White dwarf merger
When two white dwarfs merge its possible they can combine into a larger, rapidly spinning white dwarf. This event could emit radiation from the poles consistent with FRBs and, if this is proved correct, it could indicate an association between FRBs and supernovae.
Neutron star collision
Ultra-dense stellar known as neutron stars could collide and release huge bursts of radiation before they merge – this event is already thought to be a cause of high-energy bursts known as Gamma Ray Bursts (GRBs), and could also be the cause of FRBs.
Blitzar
Some neutron stars are regarded as being ‘supramassive’, which means they are so massive they should have already collapsed into a black hole but their rapid rotation keeps them alive. When they do suddenly collapse they release an intense burst of radio waves known as a blitzar, and within this emission FRBs could also be residing.
The mystery stems from the fact it is not known what could produce such a short and sharp burst.
This has led some to speculate they could be anything from stars colliding to artificially created messages.
The first FRB was spotted, or rather ‘heard’ by radio telescopes, back in 2007 - but it was so temporary and seemingly random that it took years for astronomers to even agree it wasn’t a glitch in one of the telescope's instruments.
The signal, which lasted just five milliseconds, was named the Lorimer burst after its discoverer, Duncan Lorimer.
The radio emission was so dispersed, experts suggested it must have come from a great distance away, possibly billions of light-years.
But early estimates said there should be 10,000 of these events a day – so the fact that another wasn’t discovered until 2012 was troubling.
This was when data from the Parkes Radio Telescope in Australia suggested it had heard another FRB, along with a handful of others, but the fact that only Parkes had detected the signals had some claiming these were merely instrument glitches.
A recent discovery, in April of this year, of an FRB using the giant radio dish in Puerto Rico confirmed to astronomers that these signals are indeed real – but they’re no closer to finding out an answer as to what they are.
Theories so far include flaring stars, white dwarfs merging, neutron stars colliding and – most intriguingly – alien signals.

A follow-up observation was made by the Parkes Radio Telescope, time-lapse photo shown, in 2012. However it was not until April of this year that the signal was ruled out as an instrument glitch when the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico picked up a similar signal. But the mystery of its true origin persists

‘This extraordinary finding either indicates an as yet unknown or unusual astronomical phenomenon, or it could indicate that this is a vast alien communication network, and the universe is teeming with intelligent life forms,’ says Nigel Watson, author of the UFO Investigations Manual.
‘Every unusual signal from outer space encourages us to wonder if it is from an alien civilisation.
‘Since this signal seems so elusive and hard to interpret then this should be a candidate for further analysis.
‘It would be fantastic if this was an alien signal as the knowledge that we are not alone in this vast universe would have a dramatic impact on our perception of our place in the scheme of things.'
For now, however, FRBs remain very much a mystery.
It will take further studies and observations in future to truly determine where they come from, and what is causing them. Until then, it’s difficult to rule any particular theory out of the window.

There’s this small mining town in Russia’s Far East called Dalnegorsk and on June 29, 1986 some strange stuff went down. A UFO incident witnessed by a lot of people. According to the Russian news agency Pravda, witnesses described a slowly moving (and bobbing up and down) large reddish sphere that slowly ascended and descended as it moved across a mountain range, and its glow would heat up every time it rose up. As the UFO approached one mountain top (Mount Izvestkovaya, also referred to as Height 611) it sort of “jerked” and then crashed into the mountain. Witnesses reported seeing something like an explosion. In the days after the “crash,” hundreds of witnesses said they saw three smaller spheres show up and began to act, at least to the witnesses, as if they were searching for the “crashed” sphere by doing slow sweeps over the area and sending down what appeared to be rays of light, sort of like search lights on an Army chopper. After a while of searching, the three smaller spheres sped off and that was that. Valeri Dvuzhilini of the Academy of (Soviet) Sciences was reportedly the first person (the first earth-born human, at least) to arrive on the scene two days later.
He collected samples (now referred to as alien artifacts) of what were described as strange, metallic mesh objects scattered at the site and samples of rocks and vegetation which had been scorched in the crash. This incident is widely referred to as the “Russian Roswell,” referencing the famous alleged 1947 UFO crash near Roswell, New Mexico. VIVA LAS VEGAS In the 1990′s Las Vegas reporter George Knapp traveled to the crash site to investigate the case and was given a few of the charred “rocks” (pieces of metal) that were found there. A 2012 story in the Huffington Post says Knapp was told by the Ruskies: “Three Soviet academic centers and 11 research institutes analyzed the objects from this UFO crash. The distance between atoms (in the found metal) is different from ordinary iron. Radar cannot be reflected from the material. Elements in the material may disappear and new ones appear after heating. One piece disappeared completely in front of four witnesses. The core of the material is composed of a substance with anti-gravitational properties.” Today you can see those pieces of UFO metal that were given to Knapp at the The National Atomic Testing Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada. LEAP OF FAITH
Location: Putre, Chile – June 27-28, 1974
Young Bolivian student Lucio Quevedo Lazarte was sleeping in his room when a noise coming from the living room woke him up. Going to investigate he was confronted by a man with very short white hair, wearing a tight-fitting shiny black outfit that ended in a closed turtleneck. On his arm he wore a bracelet and his hands were enclosed in dark gloves. He also wore a strange metallic belt with several sphere and rhomboid shaped object clinging from it. Lucio at first thought that the stranger was a thief and begged him not to steal the curtains. The entity answered him by saying: “I could changed that what you call a curtain for something of more value.” At that moment the humanoid took out of his belt one of the rhomboid shaped objects and placed it in front of Lucio’s face, at this time Lucio lost consciousness. Later he woke up from a kind of trance and the stranger had already gone. He went back to bed and covered himself completely even though he was unable to sleep after that.
The next day, Lucio woke up in his bed stiff, pale and unable to move. A local police doctor attended to him and concluded that he had some type of virulent disease. He woke up around noon, seemingly returning to normal. Around 1500 he suddenly got up from bed and climbed up on top of a bunk and proceeded to jump out the window. His brother Julio saw him and ran quickly to assist him, but to his surprised he could not find Lucio anywhere, not a trace of him. The police were called and they searched for him throughout the afternoon.
Around 9:00 pm a scream was heard: “He is here!” Everyone ran to the location and found student Donato Perez on the ground with Lucio lying directly on top of him. Donato explained that he saw Lucio being accompanied by two men that upon seeing him dropped him to floor and vanished. Lucio’s clothing was dirty, and his shoes stained with grayish volcanic sand. During a medical examination it was discovered that his fingertips had triangular shaped scars on them. A couple of days later he was able to recall what happened and remembered that as he fell out of the window two short humanoids grabbed him and took him flying to the nearby Taapaca Volcano. There they entered a landed object and inside he saw additional humanoids (not described). Later the same 2 short humanoids took him back and that’s when Donato saw him arriving. In the area around the Volcano investigators found several ground traces.
Location: Iron Mountain, Michigan – 1972 – 10:50 pm
The witness was driving out of the parking lot of his foundry job when he noticed an object flying about 100 ft in the air above a junkyard. He noticed 4 lights, 2 red and 2 green. Suddenly it shot a bright beam down onto several of the wrecked cars in the junkyard, shut it off, and proceeded east repeating the same thing. The object then stops to hover above some trees and bushes. The witness drove closer to the object and realized it was a giant round disc shaped craft. There was a dome-like structure on the top with a giant pane of glass with 2 creatures standing. One pointed towards the witness car, turned to the other and immediately the glass was covered by some kind of barrier so it simply looked like a disc with a dome. The witness then stood directly under the object where he saw a mesmerizing red light that had an extremely tranquilizing effect on the witness. The underside of the object had a slight lip around the edge. Crisscrossing the belly were what appeared to be some kind of tubes or I-beams, which passed through to each of the lights resembling a “cross” or plus sign. Eventually, the witness heard a whine like an electric motor starting, and then silence set in. The lights then became more intense, while four globes beneath the object began to send off what looked like bolts of lightning. Out of nowhere and completely encircling the disc, came a coil, which looked like it was made up of overlapping scales, like fish scales, roughly spherical in shape and about 12 inches at the widest. The disc then rose cleared the top of the foundry roof and preceded slightly northeast, it momentarily turned its lights off as it glided across a street. The craft then stopped and disappeared. The witness then suddenly found himself back home.
Years later the witness remembered being lifted up on a beam of light and being inside of the disc. There he met the same two beings he had seen previously. One of the humanoids was about 4-½ ft tall, the other 4 ft. Their skin was kind of iridescent gray and they had large eyes, no ears, or mouth. They had 4 fingers on each hand with a tiny suction cup-like on each finger. Inside the object everything was metallic with sky-blue seat cushions. The humanoids seemed to lack what we would call substance, rather like a holographic image of one kind or another. He was told telepathically that they had needed electrons from the iron in the junked cars, which they needed as fuel. The witness could not remember how he left the object.
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio – October 2, 1966 – 8:20 pm
Mrs. Everett Steward was talking on the telephone when she smelled a foul odor in the room. She went to her bedroom, where she had a feeling of being watched. Looking out the window, she saw an oval shaped object with portholes & red, green, & white lights revolving around it. It was 75 ft in diameter & 100 ft up. She woke her husband, who also saw it, and called her married daughter, Mrs Janet Emery, a mile away; the Emerys also saw it, and a neighbor with binoculars could see that it had square windows glowing yellow. Janet went outdoors & saw the UFO eject a red ball, which maneuvered while the first UFO took off southward. The red ball flew 75-100 ft over Jane’s head; it was oval, and its underside was shiny like aluminum foil; it was “bigger than my cottage and yard combined.” She also smelled the garbage like odor.
Mrs. Steward went to bed, the odor still in the house. After some time, the room was filled for an instant with brilliant white light; then this vanished, and a globe of light about 21″ in diameter appeared at the foot of her bed. Inside this globe were 5 “non-human, hairless heads” with oval, sunken eyes. “Instead of noses, there were slits, and they had no mouths.” Telepathically, they repeated several times “We have made contact.” Mrs Steward screamed, and the globe disappeared. She was so disquieted by the experience that she was under psychiatric care for the next 2 years.
Location: South Dakota (no specific location) – November 30, 1994 – late night
The witness was returning home from her sister’s funeral and was very exhausted. She began to see shadows and movement on the road ahead and stopped at a rest area. She turned off the engine and layback to sleep. Her next memory was of looking down at herself in the car, her head was back, eyes shut and mouth wide open. She could see some type of craft next to the car and some beings were holding something that directed a beam of white light into her mouth. The beings spoke among themselves, saying, “That she had many lessons to learn.” The beings said that she had to get cancer, and kept repeating the phrases about “so many lessons to learn.” She found herself talking to a being that had soft tanned skin. The beings were humanoid with large eyes, but no hair. Next she found herself in the car and drove home arriving at 3:00 am. The witness did indeed develop breast cancer and was operated. She apparently recovered.
I was on my way home from work driving down a country road with a gravel pit on one side, and forest on the other. In my headlights, I saw something in the clearing between the forest and the road. At first I thought it was a deer, I slowed down in case it started to run into the road. As I got closer, I noticed it was walking on two legs. My first thought at this point was that there was a car accident from up ahead, and this person was looking for help.
At first I was confused, an animal or person. As I approached and lowered my window, I realized that it was not a person or animal I got goosebumps which lasted for about 30 seconds. It stood as high as may car, it had a very thin body, covered in a white or semi-transparent material. The legs and arms were very thin and long. The head was slightly larger than a human, with black eyes, no nose, and a slit where the mouth would be. It moved in an erratic manner as it entered the road, then it turned, saw me and began walking toward my car with an almost spider-like walk.
When it got to within 5-7 feet on the driver’s side, I got really spooked, and drove away. As I drove away, I kept thinking that there was a car accident ahead. There was nothing, and that is the time I realized that something really weird was happening. For the next week I had a hard time making a logical decision as to what I had seen. I told my wife several days later, and she said that I had been acting different.

I was talking on my cell at the end of my sidewalk by the street when I turned around facing my house and saw this huge black human-like bird thing gliding without a noise coming from the east maybe the distance would be like three streets over but about maybe five blocks down.
When I saw this I was stunned and stared at it trying to figure out what it was and then I realized it wasn’t anything I’ve ever seen. I ran into the house and yelled at my husband and my grown son to get out here quick. They came but seemed like forever and they looked and saw it too. When they saw it the thing was like the a few streets over and then disappeared behind the big trees. When we saw it we all said that no one would believe us; but I have recently been talking about it because it has bothered me so much.
I’ve lived in this neighborhood all my life and I can remember three UFO sightings since I was five and all the sightings were in this neighborhood or around Stinson Field airport. I never came forward about them because people think you’ve lost your ever loving mind until recently when others I’ve spoke with shared their experiences. I have other stories but this one is the most recent and I was wondering if anyone has ever seen this thing. It is silent like it was a glider but I could see the body was exactly like a man a very large man.
