Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

Physicists at the University of Cambridge have found a theoretical foundation for the existence of wormholes, which are tubes that connect two different points in space-time. If a piece of information or physical object could pass through the wormhole, it could open the door to time travel or instant communication across enormous distances. "But there's a problem: Einstein's wormholes are notoriously unstable, and they don't stay open long enough for anything to get through." In 1988, physicists reached the conclusion that a kind of negative energy called Casimir energy could keep wormholes open.
What's the Big Idea?
The theoretical solution reached at Cambridge has to do with the effects of quantum energy, which tells us that even vacuums are teaming with waves of energy. If you imagine two metal plates in a vacuum, some waves of energy would be too big to fit between the plates, meaning that the space-time between the plates would have negative energy. "[U]nder the right circumstances, could the tube-like shape of the wormhole itself generate Casimir energy? Calculations show that if the wormhole's throat is orders of magnitude longer then the width of its mouth, it does indeed create Casimir energy at its centre."
A massive underwater entrance has been discovered off the Malibu, CA coast at Point Dume which appears to be the Holy Grail of UFO/USO researchers that have been looking for it over the last 40 years. The plateau structure is 1.35 miles x 2.45 miles wide, 6.66 miles from land and the entrance between the support pillars is 2745 feet wide and 630 feet tall. It also has what looks like a total nuclear bomb proof ceiling that is 500 feet thick. The discovery was made by Maxwell, Dale Romero and Jimmy Church, host of FADE to BLACK on the Dark Matter Radio Network on Monday, May 12th 2014 and announced on Facebook, Twitter and Church’s radio program the following day. The underwater base has been a mystery for many years with hundreds of UFO/USO sightings…many with photographs…but the entrance of the base has remained elusive…until now. The entrance can support nuclear sized submarines and massive UFO/USO activity and allow access to different military installations that are inside the US such as the China Lake Naval Base that is in the middle of the Mojave desert and the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Hawthorne, NV between Las Vegas and Reno. In the photographs you can see its relation to the coastline, Los Angeles and its natural surroundings which to not match up with the structure itself…which is massive in scale. The support pillars to the entrance are over 600 feet tall. Malibu, California, is known the world over for its scenic beauty and as the playground of the rich and famous. Few people know that it is also the land of UFOs.
In the late 1950s, as my neighbor and some of his friends were watching the sun setting on the Pacific Ocean, they witnessed three bright UFOs fly across the water at great speed then hover for a few minutes over the Santa Monica Mountains before flying off out of sight. My family moved in around 1962. We had a perfect view of Zuma Beach in our front yard with the mountains for our backyard, and the star-filled sky above us at night. During the 1960s, people were frequently seeing UFOs flying around Malibu, but a lot of people were taking hallucinogenic substances in those days too. However, by the early 1970s, whole families were going down to the beach at Point Dume at night to watch the multicolored UFOs that would sink under the water at times. Hawaii News Now has received multiple reports of mysterious lights in the sky appearing to be off west Oahu around sunset on Tuesday.
Photographs sent into our newsroom show a bright zigzag light overhead. There have been multiple sightings from all across Oahu, Maui and Lanai.
It wasn’t long before calls began pouring in as well.
“Super bright…this long line…then it went into this loopty-loop,” said Carie Matthews, a North Shore resident.
“It was just a zigzag…almost looked like letting air out of a balloon,” Bryan Cuelho from Waialua said.
Xander Amatore, 10, from the North Shore said, “It was like a streak of light. It was white. It was really bright. It went kind of in a loop, but as it went down it was in a zigzag.”
Honolulu police said they’ve received numerous calls, but don’t believe the lights are tied to any kind of Military activity. A U.S. Navy spokesman said he is not aware of any Military operations that coincide with the light.
“We can say little, if anything, about what these patterns [above] signify, why they were cut into rocks, or who created them. For all intents and purposes, they might have been made by aliens.” When a new NASA book on alien communications has a paragraph like that, you better pay attention.
Of course, the scientists and scholars who contributed to Archaeology, Anthropology and Interstellar Communications—anew 300-page volume [1.8MB PDF] edited by Douglas A. Vakoch—are not saying these carvings were definitely made by aliens. They’re saying that, since we don’t really know the origin and meaning of these markings—which were made thousands of years ago all cross Europe, America and India—we can assume that they are made by aliens as a test to what we may encounter when we actually make contact with a civilization from another planet.
It’s a serious book—deep and complex, but quite accessible. I have been going through it and it is truly fascinating stuff. And I’m not only talking about the gem at the top of this article:
Consider again, therefore, the desirability of establishing symbolic/linguistic communication with ETI [Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence]. It is helpful to review some parallels from human existence that pose problems for us today. One of these is “rock art,” which consists of patterns or shapes cut into rock many thousands of years ago. Such ancient stone carvings can be found in many countries [...]
We can say little, if anything, about what these patterns [above] signify, why they were cut into rocks, or who created them. For all intents and purposes, they might have been made by aliens.
That’s only a tiny part of a much larger logical chain that takes into consideration our knowledge on historical and prehistorical Earth, as well as our understanding of biology, evolution, and physics. For example, after going through a number of assumptions about the potential physical and biophysical differences in Chapter 15—titled Constraints on Message Construction for Communication with Extraterrestrial Intelligence—Vakoch writes about the implications (emphasis mine)
Implications—I
If the reader accepts these assumptions, then our first constraint on possible messages is simple: don’t think of “sound worlds” or music or speech as the domains, vehicles, or contents of ETI messages. Regardless of semiotic concerns (see below), the accessibility of acoustic messaging must remain doubtful. Furthermore, there will be intended and unintended aspects of performance, which elaborate the difficulties of using sound. In my view avoidance of the sound world need not be controversial.
On the other hand, vision and the use of images would appear to be at least plausible. Although spectral details cannot be considered universal, the physical arrangement of objects on a habitable planet’s surface will be shaped in part by gravity (the notion of a horizon might well be universal) and thus multispectral images might plausibly be considered worthwhile for messages. More generally, the implications for considering SETI/CETI as some sort of anthropological challenge need teasing out.
Makes total sense to me.
I won’t quote more of the book here because that would be a worthless exercise, but so far—I’m still eagerly reading it—it’s a really great read.
It’s comforting that NASA is thinking about human-alien communication under a new focus, one that is not purely based on the physical sciences of planetary research or exobiology, but that ties it with our current experience in trying to decipher our own archeological and anthropological past. That, according to Vakoch, is the objective of this volume (emphasis mine):
The chapters in this volume combine incisive critique with hope that there is a response to the skepticism behind these critiques. Addressing a field that has been dominated by astronomers, physicists, engineers, and computer scientists, the contributors to this collection raise questions that may have been overlooked by physical scientists about the ease of establishing meaningful communication with an extraterrestrial intelligence.
These scholars are grappling with some of the enormous challenges that will face humanity if an information-rich signal emanating from another world is detected. By drawing on issues at the core of contemporary archaeology and anthropology, we can be much better prepared for contact with an extraterrestrial civilization, should that day ever come.

Op de savanne in Namibië, Angola en Zuid-Afrika bestaan mysterieuze kale cirkels die worden omringd door hoog gras. De kale plekken in de graslanden komen vooral voor in het westelijke deel van Afrika. Al tientallen jaren is het onduidelijk hoe de zogenoemde feeëncirkels ontstaan. De theorieën variëren van radioactieve mineralen tot buitenaardsen.
Een Duitse wetenschapper van de Universiteit van Hamburg, Nortbert Jürgens, heeft jaren onderzoek gedaan naar de bizarre cirkels en concludeerde dat ze het werk zijn van zandtermieten.
Hij hield de termietensoort Psammotermes allocerus verantwoordelijk voor de feeëncirkels. Die zou de wortels van het gras wegvreten, waardoor een kale plek ontstaat. Zo zou er veel water doorsijpelen in de grond en kunnen de termieten er lange tijd overleven.
De feeëncirkels variëren in diameter van twee tot 20 meter en kunnen tot wel 75 jaar blijven bestaan. Het zijn zandgronden met aan de rand gras dat langer dan een jaar blijft groeien. Na het onderzoek van Jürgens bleef een belangrijke vraag onbeantwoord: waarom hebben de kale plekken een cirkelvorm?
Tijdens een nieuw onderzoek, waarbij luchtfoto’s werden bestudeerd, zijn wetenschappers tot de ontdekking gekomen dat de feeëncirkels regelmatig over het landschap zijn verspreid, wat erop wijst dat termieten waarschijnlijk niet de makers zijn.
Dergelijke patronen in de natuur zijn vrij ongewoon, aldus hoofdonderzoeker Stephan Getzin van het Helmholtz-Zentrum für Umweltforschung in Leipzig in een verklaring. “Er zijn duidelijk sterke regulerende krachten aan het werk.”
Getzin en zijn collega’s zeggen dat termieten in het wild in onregelmatig verspreide clusters leven. Ze stellen dat de insecten geen patronen kunnen maken zoals ze die op de luchtfoto’s hebben gezien. Getzin denkt dat de patronen door de natuur worden gevormd als gevolg van de waterschaarste. Het onderzoek is gepubliceerd in het tijdschrift Ecography.
Door hun relatief lange levensduur vallen de feeëncirkels bijna niet op en gingen veel mensen ervan uit dat ze permanente onderdelen van de savanne waren. In ieder geval zijn de cirkels het resultaat van een complex proces.
Wie een mooie meteorenregen wil zien moet komende vrijdag wakker blijven. Sterrenkundigen verwachten aankomend weekend namelijk een enorme sterrenregen die mogelijk deels in Nederland is te zien. Wellicht is het de grootste groep vallende sterren van dit jaar, meldt onderzoeksinstituut NOVA.
De sterrenregen vindt plaats in de nacht van vrijdag op zaterdag, pakweg tussen middernacht en vier uur. De beste tijd om te kijken is kwart voor drie in de ochtend. De meteorenzwerm hoort niet tot de jaarlijks terugkerende zwermen, zoals de bekende Perseïdenzwerm die ieder jaar in augustus te zien is, en is daarom erg uitzonderlijk.
De deeltjes uit deze zwerm zijn in de negentiende en vroeg twintigste eeuw losgekomen van komeet 209P/LINEAR, die in vijf jaar om de zon cirkelt. De komeet werd in 2004 ontdekt door het LINEAR-project. Experts voorspelden drie jaar geleden dat de deeltjes dit jaar in de dampkring van de aarde terecht zouden komen. Volgens NOVA is de zwerm bijzonder omdat hij nog nooit eerder is waargenomen.
De meeste meteoren worden verwacht in de buurt van de Poolster, aan het einde van de steel van de Kleine Beer. NOVA verwacht tussen de 20 en 75 meteoren per uur.

Meteoren staan bekend als vallende sterren, maar hebben eigenlijk niets met sterren te maken. Meteoren worden veroorzaakt door ruimtegruis, steentjes die vaak niet groter zijn dan een zandkorrel, dat in de atmosfeer van de aarde terechtkomt. De stofdeeltjes komen in botsing met de aardatmosfeer en veroorzaken kortstondig een lichtstreep aan de hemel.
De meteoren worden traditiegetrouw vernoemd naar het sterrenbeeld waaruit ze afkomstig lijken te zijn. De nieuwe vallende sterren hebben hun oorsprong schijnbaar in het sterrenbeeld Giraffe (Camelopardalis) en worden daarom Camelopardaliden genoemd.
Een lang, dun wormgat zou als een bizarre vorm van glasvezel gebruikt kunnen worden om boodschappen door de tijd te sturen met behulp van lichtpulsen. Het bestaan van wormgaten, tunnels die twee punten in de ruimtetijd met elkaar verbinden, wordt voorspeld door de algemene relativiteitstheorie van Albert Einstein.
Wormgaten kunnen in theorie worden gebruikt voor tijdreizen en kwantumcommunicatie. Er is echter een probleem: de wormgaten van Einstein zijn buitengewoon instabiel en blijven niet lang genoeg open om er daadwerkelijk iets doorheen te krijgen. In 1988 suggereerden Kip Thorn van Caltech en zijn collega’s dat wormgaten open kunnen blijven door gebruik te maken van een soort energie die Casimir-energie wordt genoemd.
De kwantummechanica leert ons dat het vacuüm van de ruimtetijd wemelt van kwantumfluctuaties, die energiegolven creëren. Stel je twee metalen platen voor die evenwijdig aan elkaar in dit vacuüm bestaan. Sommige energiegolven zijn te groot om de platen te passeren, waardoor er tussen de platen minder energie is dan eromheen en de platen naar elkaar worden geduwd. Het effect kan ook worden gezien als een resonantie van de vacuümenergie tussen de platen.
Theoretische pogingen om wormgaten met dergelijke platen open te houden waren tot nu toe zonder resultaat. Luke Butcher van de Universiteit van Cambridge heeft mogelijk een oplossing gevonden. “Wat als het wormgat de plaats van de platen kan innemen?” vroeg hij zich af. Met andere woorden: kan het wormgat zelf Casimir-energie opwekken?
Butcher heeft berekend dat het centrum van een wormgat onder de juiste omstandigheden Casimir-energie kan opwekken. “Helaas wordt er niet genoeg energie opgewekt om het wormgat stabiel te houden,” aldus Butcher. Uit de berekeningen blijkt dat het centrum van het wormgat wellicht lang genoeg openblijft om er boodschappen doorheen te sturen.
Een wormgat is een korte weg door de ruimtetijd, dus als je er een lichtpuls doorheen stuurt kun je sneller dan de lichtsnelheid communiceren. Omdat een wormgat twee verschillende punten in de tijd met elkaar kan verbinden, is het in theorie mogelijk om boodschappen door de tijd te versturen.

Ingenieur en geoloog Phil Schneider zei voor zijn dood dat buitenaardsen tot op het hoogste niveau samenwerkten met de Amerikaanse overheid. Schneider werd in 1996 dood aangetroffen in zijn appartement. Hoewel de lijkschouwer concludeerde dat hij zelfmoord had gepleegd, zijn sommigen er zeker van dat hij is vermoord. Dat schrijft de krant Epoch Times.
In 1954 sloot de toenmalige Amerikaanse president Dwight D. Eisenhower een pact met drie soorten buitenaardsen, aldus Schneider tijdens een lezing in 1995. In ruil voor buitenaardse technologie zou Eisenhower de buitenaardsen toestemming hebben gegeven om vee te verminken en mensen te ontvoeren.
Veeverminking doet zich in de Verenigde Staten al decennialang voor. KLAS-TV sprak van 10.000 gemelde gevallen verspreid over het hele land. Sommigen zeggen dat de verminkingen het werk zijn van occultisten, hoewel ook vee is gevonden waarbij organen met grote precisie zijn weggesneden. Anderen zeggen dat er een verband is met buitenaardsen.
Schneider zei dat de vele duizenden vermissingen wereldwijd mogelijk verband houden met buitenaardse ontvoeringen. Hij zei dat er negen buitenaardse rassen zijn die mensen zien als ‘voedselzakken’.
De buitenaardsen gaven de Amerikaanse overheid volgens Schneider een metaalsoort die vrijwel onverwoestbaar is. Hij toonde het publiek een stuk metaal dat gemaakt was van niobium, een scheikundig element, en mariniet, een ‘buitenaards element dat niet in het periodiek systeem is te vinden’.
Hij zei dat de overheid met de hulp van de buitenaardsen een spionagesatelliet had ontwikkeld waarmee een stuiver op je keukenvloer kan worden gevonden. Schneider stelde dat de buitenaardsen het pact hadden geschonden door meer mensen te ontvoeren dan was afgesproken. Sindsdien wordt er volgens hem onderling gevochten.
This giant skull from Peru is (allegedly) quite similar to skulls found in hundreds of graves across North America from the 1700s through the early to mid-20th Century (read about full story of the Paracas Skulls here).
The Smithsonian Institution aggressively acquired the remains of a vast preponderance of giants’ remains unearthed in North America. Newspaper articles from the period tell the tale. Many of these, thankfully, are published in a book by Richard Dewhurst called The Ancient Giants Who Ruled America.
The technique that Smithsonian curators used to coax people to ship the evidence to them was quite ingenious. First, the museum established itself as the anthropological authority bar none. Often, this was enough to attract flies to the “bug zapper.” And if it wasn’t, then requests were mailed by the museum, which asked to see the evidence.
After bones and artifcacts were shipped from another museum, or from a private party, the Smithsonian then proceeded to “sit on them” for a long, long time. In retrospect, it’s obvious that the material was simply put into a top secret warehouse somewhere. Inquiries from the parties involved would produce stalling. Years typically became one or two decades.
Yes, the Smithsonian’s modus operandi tended to use passive aggressive means to confiscate evidence. This time-honored tradition worked like a charm. Museum staff (from other institutions) tended to give up the easiest. Private parties that had personally discovered or bought the remains were more persistent.
Eventually, though, the person would die, as folks tend to do. When another generation of family members deigned to keep up the fight of getting back their property, the Smithsonian would then shift into second gear: refusing to even acknowledge that it had ever received the skeletons and artifacts.
Most times, the next generation of family members did not keep badgering the Smithsonian. Why? Well, primarily because they were busy with the travails of earning a living and raising a family. Of course, public perceptions about such things might also have been a contributing factor. The sciences had not only brushed off the evidence; they had also taken a firm stand against the possibility that a giant race of hominids once lived in North America, long before the native Americans arrived (assumedly after the giants were no longer).
So, by the 1950′s, children and grandchildren of the original owners of said artifacts, which were stolen by the Smithsonian, could have started to doubt “grandpa’s stories” about a giant skull, copper jewelry, etc. Plausible deniability worked like a charm when new staff and new scientists at the Smithsonian replaced the older generations, which originally accepted the remains. How’s that for sneaky? It’s why I call the Smithsonian “Land of the Lost.”
Notice the red hair on this skull (above), which also has a much heavier cranium and jaw than a human skull, as well as an elongated shape. Most skulls from the Midwest and South of the US were no oblong, but quite a few from the Southwest and West did tend to have an oblong shape. This gives rise to the question: was there more than one species of giant?
I have never tended to think that sasquatches were the same race as the giants that built elaborate structures, massive in size, pyramid, fortifications, and also possessed technology, which, in some cases, was more advanced than ours today. For example, metallurgists cannot duplicate the amazingly strong and light weight copper found in jewelry and equipment used by the giants.
These men all met strange and tragically premature deaths according to Richard Dewhurst, author of The Ancient Giants Who Ruled America. If this giant skull is real, then it belonged to a giant of truly titanic proportions. The picture pushes the bounds of credulity, even for me. Could it be a fabricated tall tale to cast a shadow of doubt over the other evidence by association?
This technique is called “disinformation,” and it tends to work on the general public like a charm.

Witness said: I was looking to see if the Russian rocket launch was caught by the ISS HD cam when I found this UFO at the ISS. Its only there for a few seconds but is interesting. The UFO does move just a little bit and as it does, it dims and fades due to its cloak. The angle of the sun reveals the cloak for a few seconds to minutes.

Witness said: So I really don’t know what to say about this, while driving around Salvage, Newfoundland and Labrador looking at all the icebergs, I noticed what appeared to be a chunk of ice just barely attached to an iceberg, hoping to catch it collapse I took out the camera and zoomed in. What you can see is a white object not attached to the iceberg, but rather spinning around and changing shape? There was no fog and it was a perfectly clear day so I’m up for debate. So any ideas what this could be I’m open to all opinions, ufo, illusion or what? This is easily the strangest thing I have ever witnessed in my life.

All four of them had faces and wings, and the wings of one touched the wings of another. Each one went straight ahead; they did not turn as they moved.
Their faces looked like this: Each of the four had the face of a human being, and on the right side each had the face of a lion, and on the left the face of an ox; each also had the face of an eagle. Such were their faces. They each had two wings spreading out upward, each wing touching that of the creature on either side; and each had two other wings covering its body. Each one went straight ahead. Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, without turning as they went. The appearance of the living creatures was like burning coals of fire or like torches. Fire moved back and forth among the creatures; it was bright, and lightning flashed out of it. The creatures sped back and forth like flashes of lightning.
As I looked at the living creatures, I saw a wheel on the ground beside each creature with its four faces. This was the appearance and structure of the wheels: They sparkled like topaz, and all four looked alike. Each appeared to be made like a wheel intersecting a wheel. As they moved, they would go in any one of the four directions the creatures faced; the wheels did not change direction as the creatures went. Their rims were high and awesome, and all four rims were full of eyes all around.
Then the living creatures moved, the wheels beside them moved; and when the living creatures rose from the ground, the wheels also rose. Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, and the wheels would rise along with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels. When the creatures moved, they also moved; when the creatures stood still, they also stood still; and when the creatures rose from the ground, the wheels rose along with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.
Spread out above the heads of the living creatures was what looked something like a vault, sparkling like crystal, and awesome. Under the vault their wings were stretched out one toward the other, and each had two wings covering its body. When the creatures moved, I heard the sound of their wings, like the roar of rushing waters, like the voice of the Almighty, like the tumult of an army. When they stood still, they lowered their wings.
Then there came a voice from above the vault over their heads as they stood with lowered wings. Above the vault over their heads was what looked like a throne of lapis lazuli, and high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man. I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him. Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him.
This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking.

Bizarre footage of a weird shape-shifting UFO has surfaced on the internet. The mystery object seems to hover over an iceberg, and appears to change its shape several times.
The strange white object was filmed by Youtube user “235FireFly” while he was driving around Salvage, Newfoundland and Labrador.
“What you can see is a white object not attached to the iceberg, but rather spinning around and changing shape.” He stated.
“This is easily the strangest thing I have ever witnessed in my life.”
Could the UFO be trying to mimic the color and shape of the iceberg in an effort to blend in, with the environment, or is it possibly some kind of new military stealth technology, Whatever it is its weird.

In the 1930′s, in a small rural village 100 miles southwest of Chihuahua, Mexico, at the back of a mine tunnel, two mysterious remains were found: a complete human skeleton and a smaller, malformed skeleton.
In late February of 1999, Lloyd Pye was first shown the Starchild skull by its owners. Nameless then, it was a highly anomalous skull. He initially felt it would prove to be a rare genetic deformity of some kind. This skull’s symmetry was astonishing, even more so than the average human. In fact, all of its bones—most of which had human counterparts—were beautifully shaped. But shaped like what? Solving many questions that this unusual skull presented became his challenge.
Sixty to seventy years ago an American girl of Mexican heritage in her late teens (15 to 18) was taken by her parents to visit relatives living in a small rural village 100 miles southwest of Chihuahua, Mexico. The girl was forbidden to enter any of the area’s numerous caves and mine tunnels, but like most teenagers, she went exploring. At the back of a mine tunnel she found a complete human skeleton lying on the ground’s surface. Beside it, sticking up out of the ground, was a malformed skeletal hand entwined in one of the human skeleton’s upper arms. The girl proceeded to scrape the dirt off a shallow grave to reveal a buried skeleton smaller than the human one and also malformed. She did not specify the type or degree of any of the “malformations.” The girl recovered both skulls and kept them for the remainder of her life. Upon her death they were passed to an American man, who maintained possession for five years before passing them to the American couple who now control them.

The witness heard a noise at his door and on opening saw a 4-foot tall humanoid standing there; he was wearing a suit that was light on top and dark on the bottom. He retired indoors to get his gun and flashlight and stepped out on the porch, playing the light around the yard. The flashlight illuminated an object above a nearby tree; then a beam of light from this object knocked the witness back. Following this the witness remained indoors. Both he and his wife felt cramps, and the witness said that his head felt as though it would explode, his body felt numb, and his ears were ringing. He reportedly saw 6 or 7 UFOs throughout the night, and a number of 4-foot tall humanoids, some of which could be heard on the roof. The beings made a chattering sound. All were gone by 05:00 a.m. Footprints were seen on the grass, and on the roof a metal louver was partially removed.

Two witnesses involved in a previous encounter, watched 6 or 7 humanoids with glowing green belts, similar to those they had seen the week before. Two of them had grayish glowing belts, and one of the witnesses saw two normal sized human figures that glowed a silvery white instead of green. After an hour of observation they woke a third witness, who saw only blue green lights. When they shone a flashlight beam on one of the figures, it disappeared, but was still there when the beam was removed. It gradually became foggy and at 04:30 a.m. they went to bed, but the two original witnesses thought they could hear the sound of a woman screaming three times, and a door slamming. They again experienced headaches and ringing in their ears. The third witness, who heard a noise like someone chiseling rock and a high pitched chirping sound, did not suffer from headache. They saw no UFOs that night, but others reported objects locally on subsequent nights.
1977 – At 12:45 a.m. a 26-year old woman and her 13-year-old niece looked out their bedroom window in Lindley, New York before retiring and saw 11 or 12 white lights in a “dipper” shaped formation that were moving about in the sky. One bright light appeared on a hill 300 yards away. They could hear a whooshing sound, then two lights rose in the air. Then next heard footsteps from the creek, about 100 yards away, and saw two small figures floating up and down in front of a tree by the creek. After this they saw several more figures, at various spots, carrying what seemed to be flashlights. They wore tight-fitting, “skin diver” suits with glowing green belts.
A luminous red rectangular object was seen by one of the witnesses. It approached the creek, and then backed away. At this point both witnesses developed severe headaches. They then saw a figure on a distant hill shining a light on a tombstone there, and the stone seemed to rise up into the air and move back and forth. A figure taller than the others, who were less than four feet tall, stood near the light on the hill and called out with an “ooh, ooh” signal. The others all approached him and, five minutes later, deployed back into adjacent fields. One of them approached the house. He came under the second story window and dropped to the ground, as if to conceal himself, he then approached the door and rattled the handle. By this time, 3:45 a.m., the older witness had called her mother, who notified the state police. All of the lights and figures disappeared just prior to the arrival of the police, the lights in the sky being indistinguishable from stars. Both witnesses believed only an hour had passed but actually over three hours had elapsed. They complained of burning eyes and headaches that lasted for two days. Footprints were found in the area.

When three unidentified flying objects came hurtling from the skies, terrified villagers in China’s Heilongjiang province thought they were under alien attack.
Local residents were terror-struck when a fireball screamed to Earth, shanghaiist.com reported.
One “large metal ball with a jagged-edged layer” that crash-landed on a vegetable farm had a diameter of 70 centimetres and weighed around 40 kilograms, according to the website.
Two neighbouring villages also reported similar ‘UFO’ crash landings around the same time. The incident scared the villagers who thought it was an alien attack.
However, the falling objects could be from a Russian communications satellite that crashed nine minutes after take-off outside Kazakhstan, around the time the alleged UFOs were sighted.
Russian space agency head Oleg Ostapenko believes that the satellite exploded due to the failure of the third stage’s steering engines, Russian news agency ITAR-Tass reported.
Some reports claim that the fireball sighted in China were actually debris from the exploding Proton-M rocket.
The three blast sites with metallic debris have been blocked for further investigation by local authorities. No casualties have been reported so far.
Earlier there were reports of a giant fireball crashing in Queensland, Australia, though no debris was found at the crash site.
The alien encounter incident took place in 2001. Three villagers; Fevzi Can, his wife Selma Can and their neighbour Aysel Topaloglu from Narli village in Esme district of the city Usak; woke up early in the morning to hoe their tobacco farm. It was about 7 in the morning. They got on the tractor, as they would always do, but on the way they saw something 30 cm. above the ground on a farm they were passing by.
The thing was about 15 meters away from them. First, they did nothing but kept on driving. But as they drove, the being started to follow them on the same direction, still keeping the 15 meters distance in between. That was when the villagers got puzzled and Fevzi Can stopped the tractor and got off it to look closer what that was. The being started to rise in the air and approached towards them. It stopped about 2 meters away from Mr. Can and hovered about 2,5 meters above the ground. The thing was completely silent. No wings or no propellers were apparent. There wasn’t any noise of an engine either, but it was in the air.
Mr. Can was astonished and confused by what he was looking at, so he thought of throwing a stone at it, thinking maybe he could drop it down and examine it closer. As soon as he had the thought of throwing a stone at it, the being started to rise in the air. Mr. Can threw a few stones at it, but all missed. The being rose about 5 meters then started to fly to the opposite side, all time facing the witnesses, and went away.
The villagers told that the being they saw was about 60-70 cm. tall, wearing a bright, gelatin-like suit with an orangish, reddish bright light in the belly part. It had an elliptical head and red-coloured feet. It had no arms and the legs looked like to be attached to each other forming a V shape. It had no ears, no nose nor a mouth. According to the witnesses’ testimony; the only facial detail that was apparent was its almond shaped eyes.
Right after the encounter, the villagers went to Mehmet Yildirim, the head official of the district, and told him about their encounter. Mr. Yildirim notified the governor Ayhan Cevik right away. A security meeting took place and the bulletin including a sketch of the alien was distributed to the head official of the district, security superiors and gendarme commanders.
The combination UFO/entity was never seen again, which is remarkable when you consider the government’s response to the report. Can you imagine anyone in the US reporting that story to their local government official, then the local official reporting it to the governor, then the governor holding a security meeting, then alerting all the security personnel and gendarmes in the district to watch for a peculiar little floating entity in a gelatin suit who can predict when someone is about to throw a stone at it? My guess is that that would never happen in the US.
In 1905, Albert Einstein published the theory of special relativity, which explains how to interpret motion between different inertial frames of reference — that is, places that are moving at constant speeds relative to each other.
Einstein explained that when two objects are moving at a constant speed as the relative motion between the two objects, instead of appealing to the ether as an absolute frame of reference that defined what was going on. If you and some astronaut, Amber, are moving in different spaceships and want to compare your observations, all that matters is how fast you and Amber are moving with respect to each other.
