This is our new dog Kira, a cross between a water dog and a Podenko. She has been with us since February 7, 2024 and is busy winning our hearts. She is a sweet, affectionate dog who quickly adapted to us within a week. She is very quick and curious, a very different dog than Noleke.

Open Minds Special Report – The origins of the Majestic 12 documents has its roots in a complicated set of events that included disinformation, hoaxes, and lies. There exists a prevailing belief among a great many within the UFO community that there will someday come a “mass landing,” a revelation to the entire world of the flying saucer reality we have only seen the briefest hints of so far. We somehow believe we are “owed” a climactic revelation as to the true nature of the flying saucer phenomenon, that we will one day have paid our dues and will receive a payoff in the form of some kind of ultimate truth.

One of the most common ways this idea is expressed is with the phrase “a landing on the White House lawn,” which presumes the U.S. president would be the first person the alien presence would want to communicate with. This is sort of an extension of the old 1950s cliché in which the aliens land and say, “Take me to your leader.” Perhaps the White House landing myth implies that they have eliminated the middleman/informant and gone straight to what Americans in their national pride would like to assume is the leader of the free world.
Another myth this basic concept incorporates is that of a morally indifferent alien force that wants to talk politics at the White House and eventually be interviewed on CNN. Any number of similar scenarios can be imagined while the waiting for some kind of open disclosure of the alien presence by the UFO occupants themselves continues. We wait, without being able to define what we’re waiting for.
But what if we’re waiting for the wrong kind of mass landing? What if the UFO occupants are not morally indifferent at all? What if the ancient astronaut interpreters of the phenomenon are right and the aliens are the gods that created us and at least tried to teach mankind a set of moral codes, a system of ethics that reflected their own “alien” morals and ethics? Perhaps the Old Testament word would be “righteousness,” and the prophets crying out down through the ages for truth and justice were not merely raving in some kind of sacrosanct psychosis but were, as they claimed, pressed into service as a “mouthpiece” or advocate for God?
There has always been a thin line between madness and genuine religious experience. The story of Abraham and his near-sacrifice of his son Isaac is a frequently used example of this problem. Abraham claims to hear a “voice,” which he assumes to be God, telling him to “sacrifice” his son. If Abraham were to walk into a courtroom today and tell a judge his “voices” told him to murder his own child, one would hope he would receive immediate hospitalization. It is typical of the schizophrenic to use what psychiatry would call “religious delusions” to justify any number of violent or otherwise antisocial behaviors.

Yet from childhood we are taught that Abraham was not psychotic and was having a genuine conversation with the true God. We are also taught that God chose at the final instant to take mercy on both Abraham and Isaac, providing a sacrificial animal, seemingly out of nowhere, to substitute for a frightened and confused Isaac. God’s real point had been to test Abraham’s faith, in a manner appropriate to the historical context of the ancient world.
As UFO believers, we too would like some kind of assurance that we are on the right side of that same thin line. While the morals of this country and the world around us may be said to have deteriorated to a depressing, even dangerous degree, there still exists a kind of social contract, law and order, and an agreed upon effort to maintain a level of ethical behavior we can live with comfortably enough to survive.
We think we know what is right and who among us could somehow trust an invading alien army to tell us different? Would these faceless, unknowable flying saucer occupants necessarily have a moral agenda at all? And should they have such an agenda, would they automatically want to impose that on us or even deign to teach it to us?
What to fear and who to trust about that fear? These kind of unanswerable questions inevitably grow wearisome to even the hardiest of UFO speculators. But this book on UFOs and the Second Coming is an attempt to answer some of those questions by blending the prophecies of the Bible with what little is known of the UFO phenomenon. Admittedly, in the marketplace of truth as it exists today, we already have two strikes against us. We are taking up two sharp sticks of something society has seen numerous examples of in the context of insanity – Biblical prophecy and UFOs – and giving ourselves a painful poke in the eye. Many a maniac with an axe to grind has wrapped himself in one or both of these subjects, usually to nauseating effect.
But nevertheless, we persist in this line of inquiry, of careful painstaking research. I have interviewed a group of experts on the subjects of Biblical prophecy and UFOs. Some have made the leap of faith and believe they are two inseparable parts of an overall whole, while other interviewees quoted here tend to carefully avoid expressing a belief in some future violent apocalypse.
For instance, what does the Second Coming mean to ordained minister Dr. Barry Downing? Downing’s impressive academic background in both science and religion, combined with a longtime study of the UFO phenomenon, makes his opinion as “expert” as they come.
Biblical prophecy scholar Gary Stearman discusses how the long awaited Rapture will be timed to events in Israel and explains how UFO waves in that embattled stretch of Earth have always been an expression of God’s unfolding plan in the modern world. One must learn to live with the idea that the Day of the Lord will arrive as a “thief in the night,” catching the entire world off-guard and entering our reality unannounced.

There are also chapters offering the aforementioned less apocalyptic view of the Second Coming. In interviews with religious and UFO scholar Dr. Brenda Denzler and prophecy researcher G.C. Schellhorn, Christ’s return is portrayed as a quieter transformation of humankind’s collective consciousness, a kind of moral rebirth taking place on levels too subtle to be readily apparent to the unenlightened observer. What if Christ and the other prophets can achieve their merciful ends without a “blood and guts” confrontation with the wickedness of the world?
The legendary husband and wife team of Brad and Sherry Steiger are interviewed for separate chapters about their beliefs on the Second Coming. Brad recalls his youthful days in Bible class and explains how his views are now less extreme, less black and white, regarding what we mean when we discuss things like the fearful aspects of the Book of Revelation.
Meanwhile, Sherry also feels her childhood religious beliefs and even time spent in a Lutheran seminary as a young woman did not prepare her for the truths she would later discover. What should be emphasized, she believes, is the commonality between all world faiths and the peaceful, good intentions of the prophets who introduced them to us. Yet she concedes she is troubled by portions of Book of Revelation and believes the Mark of the Beast could easily become a reality. Did the late Dr. Frank Stranges correctly identify the Antichrist? He is among the many who have tried to “name names” in that regard, but in this exclusive interview he explains his reasoning for doing so in some detail, while at the same time decrying the “fear mongers” who use the Second Coming to terrify rather than to inspire. Will the UFOs eventually spread the wisdom and grace of Christianity to the entire universe after carrying out the Second Coming on Earth?
Finally, I touch on the possible use of holograms to stage a false Second Coming and offer a checklist of signs to watch for in the countdown to the Day of the Lord, as provided by Gray Stearman.
Returning to the subject that began this chapter, it is my belief that we should not be waiting for a morally indifferent landing on the White House lawn. Should the mass landing come, it will more likely be from the skies over Armageddon, when the UFOs arrive en masse to combat the armies gathered by the Antichrist. Jesus Christ is often thought of as the teacher who cautioned us to turn the other cheek but he also said he came not to bring peace but the sword. In Revelation, Chapter 19, he is called the Word of God, he from whose mouth issues a sharp sword with which he smites the nations. He is accompanied by the “armies of heaven” who follow behind him on white horses. Would you not agree that all that stands in marked contrast to “moral indifference”?

The family spent many hours discussing how Kate was able to do what she did without the abductors simply grabbing both of the sisters which was their intention. Kate felt she knew instinctively why she was able to save them. Kate is sure that her sudden burst of anger and rage stunned her abductors and literally threw them off their game. She said she could sense a hesitation from them as she screamed and cursed at them in an angry rage while running around the truck with flailing arms raging at them as she forced her sister back in to her truck. Kate said her very soul reacted in furious anger at the attempt to take them and the usual fear she felt in all her other encounters simply took a back seat as her anger raged at this attempt to take her and her sister.
Kate also remarked that another major role in her being able to do what she did was that her new truck did not shut down like many other times she had encounters while driving. Her new SUV kept running making it possible for her to throw the vehicle in a quick reverse and speed away from the circle of light.
The family feels that maybe something different in the new vehicles makes shutting them down a bit harder or that Kate's unexpected display of anger and rage threw off the abductors to the point they did not follow their usual protocol giving Kate the jump on them which gave her time to evade the abduction attempt.
I do know that this is not the first time I have encountered a story of someone avoiding an abduction by displaying an odd emotion towards their abductors that seems to confuse and disarm them. I am sorry Kate was so seriously wounded but very glad she avoided a full abduction. I think at this stage of life both of these brave women deserve an end to these horrific abductions that have followed them during their lives. Sadly that is not the case and they continue to be hunted.
About a week ago I called Kate to see how she and her sister were doing hopeful they were feeling better since their last event and to inquire when they would be leaving the area.
Kate is still recovering from her ordeal but does seem to have damage that may last with her forever. She discovered that her vocal cords were harmed and she has days when talking is very difficult. I could hear the change in her voice and understood her continued anger at her captors and secretly feel it may be the very thing that will keep them away from her. I believe that fear strengthens their ability to take and control humans and once Kate replaced that fear with rage and anger she became a target too difficult to control and hopefully not worth their time or effort in the future.
Donna however did not make out as well. In fact what happened to Donna is something I never heard before from any abduction case I researched nor have I ever read anything like it in all my years of dealing with the paranormal.
The first encounter with both sisters involved occurred in early April of this year 2014. What I am going to write about now happened a few days ago during the last week of May 2014.
Donna was feeling nearly back to her normal self. She and her husband, at their son's insistence, were living in his house with his family. He had a large home that offered comfort and safety to his parents and thought it wise to protect his mother from any future problems during her recovery from this last event. Donna was itching to return to her own home which is located only blocks away from her son’s home but agreed she felt safe and at ease staying with her son and his family.
Donna and her husband had a large bedroom and bath with a private sitting area that was located over her son’s large garage and part of the second story of his home.
They would retire to the suite after dinner where they would watch TV, work on their computer or read until bedtime.
It was the night after Memorial Day that the older couple decided to go up even earlier than usual as they were worn out from a full family weekend of BBQ s and grandchildren. Donna's husband headed for the small sitting room where a large TV and big recliner waited for him. Within minutes he was deeply involved with a piece of pie in one hand and his remote in the other. Donna was feeling restless and thought she may be over tired. She found her book that she was reading and sat down in a large chair next to the bed to read for a while before going to bed.
What happened next cannot be explained or compared to any other event I have ever come upon or heard in connection to any other abduction case.
Donna sat reading when she sensed something in the room. For a split second she thought it was her husband moving about but quickly realized it was something else.
She placed her book on her lap and looked up. To Donna's stunned amazement she found her bed room filled with her dead relatives. The clear image of her mother and father as well as her young son who passed in his teens were all standing in front of her. Her grandfather was there as well. She sat stunned unable to move. Her family members started to dart quickly from one side of the room to the other quickly flashing across the room from side to side. Donna filled with fear believing her time had come and they were there to take her with them. Suddenly Donna realized her grandfather’s soul was not moving back and forth across the room like the others and stood still and clear in front of Donna. Donna realized he was engaging something else in the room as he spoke loud and clear over Donna looking at the area behind Donna's chair.
Quickly Donna could sense something standing behind her chair. She turned to see what was there but was stopped by the command of her grandfather not to look. Donna did get a glance before she was stopped that some kind of creature was standing directly behind her chair. Donna sat frozen while the spirit of her grandfather took on the creature standing behind Donna. He told it that he demanded for it to leave and it would not be allowed it to take Donna, not today or any other day. The other members of Donna's family continued to swirl around the bedroom. Donna finally found her courage and asked her grandfather what she should do. Her grandfather continued to engage the creature standing behind her.
While this was happening Donna's husband only about 15 feet away continued to watch TV until he heard his wife talking. At first he yelled out his customary “What did you say” When she did not answer he decided to peek in on her to make sure she was alright. That is when Donna finally had a witness to her ordeal as her husband did walk in to the bedroom.
Donna's husband took one look at the scene taking place in the bedroom. He turned his head and took one look at the creature standing behind his wife when he heard Donna's grandfathers voice boom out across the room “DO NOT LOOK AT IT'. Donna's husband ran to the bedroom door screaming at the top of his lungs for his son to bring the gun and yelled for help.
Within seconds Donna could hear her son and teenage grandsons running towards the room. With a snap of what seemed electricity in the air the spirits and creature were gone. Donna's husband fell to his knees and started to cry. Her son and his family came crashing in to the room. The room had a foul sulfur mold like smell in it. The grandsons quickly checked the closets bathrooms and made sure all the windows were locked. Donna sat in shock at what had just occurred. She and her husband remain living with their son and both still need medication to deal with this latest ordeal that no one seems to have an explanation for.
Clearly whatever it was that tried once again to take Donna was stopped by the loving spirits of her family members who have passed over. It seems Donna's grandfather was the strongest of the spirits as he engaged and prevented the thing standing behind her chair from doing what he came to do. Donna is beside herself at this point and lives in constant terror. She does feel somewhat relieved that her husband was able to witness part of what she has had to deal with for a life time. The added dimension of Donna’s dead relatives entering the ordeal is confusing for all involved and something I personally have not ever heard about in any other abduction case or from any other abductee or contactee.
Both sisters remain under the eyeful watch of their families. Both sisters have become disgusted and angry at the continued harassment of their life long abductors. I feel this change from fear to anger and rage may be the key to ending their torment and hope they can focus on that approach and never give over to fear again. I know this is easier said than done but it is all I can offer to these courageous women at this point in life.
I am not equipped to comment on the strange event that took place in Donna’s bedroom. I have never encountered or heard any other scenario like it during all of the years I have been interviewing and researching the abduction issue. I do know I respect and believe this event took place based on the quality of character of those who related the event to me. I also find it extremely disturbing as it may be a sign we are entering a new level of existence where creatures we do not understand cross between dimensions or space that we are yet to understand.
I found this article to be one of the most upsetting I have ever written due to the fact that both of these ladies are seniors and at this point just being attacked without mercy by these cruel non-human abductors. I can only pray that they continue to stay angry and protected by the spirits that look after them.
I too am aging and find that my days need to be filled more with family and love and less with computers and keyboards. I have decided while writing this article to take off the summer and enjoy my home and my family. I also have been writing a great deal about the danger of constantly being connected to our technology and concerned it will soon remove mankind from its humanity and towards a colder harder being that will continue to be controlled by devices and soon forget to smell the roses or notice them along the way. I need to practice what I preach and intend to detach and reattach to a slower kinder life and make sure I enjoy life and those I love each and every day.
I will be back when I am ready to continue my endless journey with the unknown.

Immersing oneself in the world of the unidentified flying objects can be exciting, illuminating, stimulating, and enlightening. That very same world, however, is filled to the brim with cold-hearted killers that will not think twice about taking you out of circulation, if such action is deemed absolutely necessary. And not all of those cold-hearted killers are human.
There are cases after cases of missing aircraft, vanished and dead pilots, suspiciously-timed heart-attacks, murders made to look like suicides, the use of mind-control techniques to provoke quick d eaths, the many links between t e UFO phenomenon and the November 22, 1963 assassi nation of President John F. Kennedy, the termination of numerous scientists with secret UFO links, journalists hung out to dry ( as in forever), the terrifying human equivalents of so-called cattle-mutilations, and fatal illnesses provoked by close proximity to unidentified aerial craft.
In the very year that the UFO phenomenon entered popular culture, 1947, there was agrimly impressive catalog of deaths. When, in June of that year, a flying saucer reportedly exploded over Maury Island, Tacoma, Washington State, no less than two military personnel and two media men died under questionable circumstances. Less than two weeks later, the infamous event at Roswell, New Mexico occurred – an event that is dominated by suspicious suicides and mysterious deaths.
Six months later, Captain Thomas Mantell, of the U.S. Air National Guard, was killed after pursuing in the skies over Kentucky what many UFO researchers believe to have been a spacecraft from another world. Twisted wreckage and a dead pilot were the only pieces of evidence left for investigators to scrutinize.
Then, in May 1949, the life of the first U.S. Secretary of Defense, James Forrestal, came to a literal, crashing end when he plunged to his death from a window of the Bethesda, Maryland,National Naval Medical Center. Rumors abound that Forrestal’s classified, government work gave him unique access to the U.S. Government’s most guarded UFO secrets of all – secrets that Forrestal was intent on disclosing to the world, had his untimely and suspicious death not got in the way.
Four years down the line, in November 1953, no less than six pilots lost their lives or vanished into oblivion as a result of their UFO pursuits. Karl Hunrath and Wilbur Wilkinson were two men obsessed by UFOs and who mysteriously disappeared on November 10. Claiming to be in contact with human-like aliens, they took to the skies of California to meetwith their extraterrestrial friends – never to be seen again. In less than two weeks later, four more pilots were gone: this time they were U.S. military pilots, each and every one involved in UFO incidents in the Great Lakes area.
In 1959, one of the most controversial of all UFO-related deaths occurred: that of flying saucer investigator and author Morris K. Jessup. While the official story is that Jessup’s death was suicide (he was found dead in his car in a Florida park), there are solid grounds for believing that it was far more than that – nothing less than a case of full-blown murder. The reason: to keep Jessup away from certain UFO secrets that powerful players wanted kept hidden.
Without doubt the most sensational story that suggests a link between a suspicious death and flying saucers is that of President John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated on November 22, 1963 at Dealey Plaza, Dallas, Texas. As incredible as it may sound, the JFK killing is absolutely littered with spies, spooks and secret agents who were deeply linked to the UFO phenomenon. Was the president shot to prevent him from going public about what he knew of alien visitations? Don’t bet against it.
In the late 1960s, and even more so in the mid to late 1970s, numerous farmers across the United States reported that their cattle were being mutilated in horrific fashion: organs, blood and tissue were removed by unknown entities. Strange lights were seen in the sky. UFO encounters abounded. But, it may not just have been animals that were mutilated. There are more than a few reports on record of human mutilations – from the 1970s onwards and alljust about as grisly as their cattle-based counterparts. Are we being used as food by hostile and malevolent aliens?
Eerily paralleling the November 1953 affair of Karl Hunrath and Wilbur Wilkinson, in October 1978 a young Australian pilot named Frederick Valentich disappeared over Australia’s Bass Strait. That Valentich vanished shortly after seeing a UFO at extremely close quarters has given rise to the theory that he was the victim of nothing less than a cosmic kidnapping.

Moving on, from the early part of the 1980s to the 1990s, dozens of scientists working for GEC-Marconi, in the United Kingdom, died under very dubious circumstances. Many were linked to President Ronald Reagan’s Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI), which was known far more famously by its nickname: “Star Wars.” That SDI was alleged to have been created to deal with a possible attack by hostile aliens led to an astonishing hypothesis: the Marconi scientists were murdered by extraterrestrials, utilizing advanced mind-control technology, to prevent the SDI project from coming to fruition.
Then there is the 1999 death of UFO/conspiracy author/researcher Jim Keith, who penned such books as BlackHelicoptersoverAmerica; CasebookontheMeninBlack; and SaucersoftheIlluminati. Was Keith’s death really just a tragic accident? Or did dark andmanipulative forces conspire to have Keith taken out of circulation?
Collectively, the above accounts and reports are just the beginning of a long list of untimely deaths in the field of Ufology. Indeed, the number of people involved in research of the UFO variety, and who have died under mysterious circumstances, is now in the dozens. There is something so secret, so shocking, and so terrifying about the flying saucer phenomenon that it requires the permanent silencing of those that get too close to the truth. And if you are someone who scans the skies for alien spaceships, you just might be next on someone’s hit list…
It’s true, back on February 18, 1930, Clyde W. Tombaugh discovered Pluto (although it actually was there long before he discovered it). While Pluto’s a mere 3.67 billion miles away, and the telescopes of Tombaugh’s day were primitive compared to today, he still did a better job than MUFON has in discovering the Billy Meier UFO case, which is one finger click away on a computer.
I bring this up because I had a call from a very sweet woman at MUFON who informed me about this year’s symposium and invited me to buy vendor space there. I was a vendor at last year’s event and had some interesting interactions there, which also included my successfully “pleading the Meier case” to a judge, as I describe in And Did They Listen?
I informed the young woman on the phone that I no longer buy vendor space at events at which I’m not speaking and, of course, I explained to her that I represented the Billy Meier UFO contact case. She hadn’t heard a thing about Billy Meier…despite the fact that she was working in some capacity at MUFON. This wasn’t altogether surprising since MUFON had, remarkably since its founding 45 years ago, been unable to find, and therefore avoid drawing any attention to, the Meier case whatsoever. After all Meier’s UFO information first made the news in 1964 and in fact Asket had foretold MUFON’s existence in 1953, 16 years before it was created. As you can see she told Meier:
70. But the fight for the truth will be very hard because you will have to fight against the lack of understanding and lack of reason of sectarian ufological groups, and so forth, who are strongly anchored in the religious and in pseudo-sciences.
71. In regard to that, take note especially of the coming worldwide organisation for ufological work, MUFON, because – along with various pathological know-it-alls and slanderers of truth – it will be your greatest adversary.
Of course today there are other equally truth slandering, adversarial groups and individuals, such as Exopolitics and its hack disinformation agents Stephen Bassett and Michael Salla; the once hopeful Disclosure Project and its huckster, Stephen Greer; the ironically named OpenMinds, which purchased Wendelle Stevens’ collection of information, documentation, etc., including a lot of the Meier material and, on one hand sells his UFO photos while, on the other hand attacks the case as a hoax. I think the term bottom feeders is appropriate.
One of the reasons why the UFO topic is marginalized is because the UFO industry is busy saturating the media with delusional claims from frauds and charlatans that “open-minded”, gullible, unthinking, non-discerning, unscientific, illogical people uncritically believe. It’s not an accident either. Look behind some of these organizations and individuals and you’ll find a lot of money, vested interests and connections to parties that profit by keeping people confused and in the dark, often while appearing to be supporters of, here it comes…”disclosure”. But the only thing really needs to be disclosed, the one thing that the UFO cover-up is really all about is…the Billy Meier case.
So for all the good folks in MUFON, and everywhere else, who really do want to know the truth please know that it’s freely available. And today you don’t need a fancy telescope that can peer deep into space to find it. All you have to do is start reading all of the information, evidence, corroboration for Meier’s tons of prophetically accurate scientific and environmental information, spiritual teaching, etc.
Why it’s now so easy to find the truth that even the dedicated Lights-in-the-Sky-Chasers-in-Chief can do it and share it with all of their constituents…if they really want to.
As for the MUFON event, it features 12 speakers – not one of whom knows the first thing about extraterrestrials and their UFOs – nor of course will any of them be speaking on the Meier case. In fact, one of the speakers, James Fox, has offered a $100,000 reward for proof of an extraterrestrial UFO. Despite my having sent him the information several times, including the latest proof, Fox (who produced a film called “I Know What I Saw”) apparently doesn’t know what he’s looking at…or where his checkbook is.

Although saucers seem to involve a majority of benificent space people, the Devil always managed to, now and then, crab the act.
Of course, many investigators have observed that saucers, particularly in the past, have often been interpreted in the light of the day’s scientific, religious or other beliefs.
This observation was brought to mind by an account in SS&S (3/73) in which editor Gene Duplantier tells how a retired scientist experienced what was obviously a very close brush with saucerians and thought he had met up with the Old Scratch.
The old account appeared in the Lincoln Daily Star, back in 1922, which indicated the strange matter had been reported to the University of Nebraska.
The scientist, who would not give his name, was outside his house when he saw a large disc come down about 80 rods away. He went closer and saw an eight-foot-tall being emerge from the craft and proceed toward him.
A deeply religious man, the scientist was certain this huge being must be none other than Satan himself. Remembering his Bible teachings, he mumbled, “Get thee behind me, Satan,” and turned his back on the creature. As he turned he noticed another disc coming down from the sky, and it hovered above him as if to protect him from the landed creature.
Next, the scientist heard voices emanating from the airborne saucer, appropriately quoting Biblical texts.
The creature on the ground, which the scientist definitely felt was hostile in intent, became discouraged, as if the voices had a deterring effect upon it. It took off on foot, rapidly disappearing. The scientist tracked “the Devil” to where the disc had landed.
Further adding fire to the diabolical theory was the fact that the thing left tracks similar to hoofmarks, and went through a barbed wire fence, which was left burning hot, and severed as if it had been burned through with a welding torch.
A more “enlightened” “space age” explanation could come up with much different explanations. Perhaps the huge creature was from another planet, out to capture a specimen, but deterred by “good” saucer people who prevented the abduction. The hoofmarks could easily have been misinterpreted and the barbed wire was likely a severed ray gun. The voices from the “good” saucer likely were received telepathically, and colored somewhat by the observer’s own subconscious and religious beliefs.

De ambassade moet worden uitgerust met landingsplaats voor de ruimteschepen van de Elohim.
De Raëlians hebben lange tijd tevergeefs gelobbyd om het bouwwerk in Israël te kunnen realiseren. Ze willen dat de ambassade een extraterritoriaal karakter krijgt, zodat de groep wordt vrijgesteld van aardse belastingen.
Woordvoerder Daniel Turcotte liet zich in een persverklaring uit over de voordelen die de ambassade met zich meebrengt: “De ambassade zal Canada op de lange termijn tientallen miljarden opleveren. Het gastland van deze ambassade zal als interplanetair knooppunt een hoge status krijgen. Raëlians zijn een groot voorstander van klonen. In 2002 kondigde de Raëliaanse bisschop Brigitte Boisselier aan dat het bedrijf Clonaid erin was geslaagd de eerste gekloonde mens te hebben gecreëerd. De baby zou Eve heten, maar bewijs bleef achterwege.
De Raëlian Movement telt wereldwijd naar schatting 90.000 leden, die met name in Zuid-Korea, Japan en Canada wonen. De Elohim worden zo rond 2025 verwacht.
How old is the Earth? Scientists think that the Earth is 4.54 billion years old. Coincidentally, this is the same age as the rest of the planets in the Solar System, as well as the Sun. Of course, it’s not a coincidence; the Sun and the planets all formed together from a diffuse cloud of hydrogen billions of years ago.
In the early Solar System, all of the planets formed in the solar nebula; the remnants left over from the formation of the Sun. Small particles of dust collected together into larger and larger objects — pebbles, rocks, boulders, etc — until there were many planetoids in the Solar System. These planetoids collided together and eventually enough came together to become Earth-sized.
At some point in the early history of Earth, a planetoid the size of Mars crashed into our planet. The resulting collision sent debris into orbit that eventually became the Moon. How do scientists know Earth is 4.54 billion years old? It’s actually difficult to tell from the surface of the planet alone, since plate tectonics constantly reshape its surface. Older parts of the surface slide under newer plates to be recycled in the Earth’s core. The oldest rocks ever found on Earth are 4.0 — 4.2 billion years old.
Scientists assume that all the material in the Solar System formed at the same time. Various chemicals, and specifically radioactive isotopes were formed together. Since they decay in a very known rate, these isotopes can be measured to determine how long the elements have existed. And by studying different meteorites from different locations in the Solar System, scientists know that the different planets all formed at the same time. Failed Methods for Calculating the Age of the Earth Our current, accurate method of measuring the age of the Earth comes at the end of a long series of estimates made through history. Clever scientists discovered features about the Earth and the Sun that change over time, and then calculated how old the planet Earth is from that. Unfortunately, they were all flawed for various reasons.

Natuurkundige Vincent Icke, hoogleraar theoretische astrofysica aan Universiteit Leiden en bijzonder hoogleraar kosmologie aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam, schrijft in zijn boek ‘Zwaartekracht bestaat niet’ dat hij het verschijnsel zwaartekracht eigenlijk niet kan verklaren. Het is alsof de aarde met een touwtje aan dingen trekt, maar het touwtje is nergens te vinden.
Sinds Newton is er weinig meer gesleuteld aan de theorie van de zwaartekracht. Niemand kreeg tot nu toe vat op de vraag: Hoe werkt de zwaartekracht? De algemene relativiteitstheorie van Einstein zegt dat materie de ruimte kromt, maar een eeuw later zijn we nog geen spat verder. “Hoe vertelt de zon aan de ruimtetijd om zich heen dat die gekromd moet zijn?” vraagt Icke zich af. “We weten het niet. In dat opzicht heeft mijn generatie natuurkundigen er niet zoveel van gebakken.”

De ruimtesonde Venus Express cirkelt al 8 jaar rond de planeet Venus. Het einde van het onderzoeksprogramma is aangebroken. Daarom wordt de sonde nu klaargemaakt voor een laatste opdracht.
Het ruimtetuig zal de atmosfeer van Venus induiken. Het gaat om een riskant manoeuvre, waarbij de sonde het vaste oppervlak van de planeet tot 130 km zal naderen. Tijdens die tocht zal de atmosfeer als een rem fungeren. Wetenschappers willen met deze laatste opdracht meer te weten komen over de Venusatmosfeer. De missie is gepland voor de periode tussen 18 juni en 11 juli.
Als de sonde de tocht door de helse atmosfeer van Venus overleeft en niet door zijn brandstof heen is, zal ze nadien terug in een hogere baan gebracht worden om nog enkele maanden onderzoek te verrichten.

Op de grote Saturnusmaan Titan komen net zoals op aarde duinen voor. Titan is de enige maan in het zonnestelsel met een atmosfeer. Uit recente waarnemingen blijkt dat de duinen zich lijken te verplaatsen en dan nog wel tegen de wind in.
Volgens wetenschappers is dit echter maar schijn: waarschijnlijk hebben de duinen nog onvoldoende tijd gehad om rechtsomkeer te maken. De wind op Titan is immers veel zwakker dan op aarde en als gevolg van de veranderingen in de omloopbanen van Saturnus en Titan was de voornaamste windrichting op Saturnus 35.000 jaar geleden net omgekeerd dan tegenwoordig. Door de zwakke betekent dit dat het duizenden jaren duurt eer de wind de richting van de duinen kan veranderen.

De ruimtetelescoop Hubble heeft een wel heel bijzondere foto gemaakt. De sterrenkijker maakte een panorama dat het universum op zijn kleurrijkst toont. Sterrenstelsels van vijf tot tien miljard jaar oud werden vastgelegd op de gevoelige plaat.
Ruimtevaartorganisatie NASA legde voor de eerste keer op een panorama ultraviolet licht vast, dat niet zichtbaar is voor de mens. Het ziet er op de foto uit als een lichtblauw schijnsel dat zich rondom roterende sterrenstelsels begeeft.
Het panorama is een compositie van meer dan achthonderd foto's van de laatste elf jaar. Op het kiekje zijn ongeveer tienduizend sterrenstelsels te bewonderen.

There are THREE objects of interest – 1) the main 60 meter circular anomaly, 2) a smaller secondary object lying approx. 200 meters from the 1st anomaly with an area shaped like two “Gothic church windows” and 3) a third anomaly – a 28 meters high and 275 meters wide rock outcrop with a crack running through it, lying some 1500 metres South of the circular object, direct on the other end of the “trail”. The team has stated Anomaly 2 might turn out to be the most interesting than the first, and they plan to dive on it this time around
The object lies at approx. 85-90 meter depth in international waters between Sweden & Finland Conditions at site are poor – visibility is low – 2-3 feet, low light levels, low temperatures. 60 meter in diameter, 4 meters thick Perfectly round, somewhat flattened dome-shaped object made of a “rock-like” substance, although it is not a rock formation. There are rock formations, which appear on the surface of the object. (like ayers rock in Ausralia) That is the definition I have of a rock. The anomaly is made of some other material which I do not know what it is but I´m sure there are several different materials @ the sight, you have 5-10 meter deep layer of clay, that lies on top of the Scandinavian rock. On top of the clay lies this anomaly, and on top of the anomaly small stones of different kind.” ~ Stefan Hogeborn November 13, 2012 When asked if the anomaly was metal, Peter Lindberg answered, “Nothing like any metal I know any way.” June 8, 2012 It seems like the circle is covered in a very thin layer of sediment, but at certain locations the silt is thicker, nearly like clay. I guess that the currents can stir the silt up at these locations. When the divers scraped it off a blackish surface appeared underneath. Nearly the entire anomaly seems to be of the same material except a piece of cliff where I have marked the black ring for the hole and the blue ring where the the drop weight landed on the second dive. (south on the anomaly). The team is not sure if it is just rocks which are laying on the anomaly or if it is a part of it. The surface of the circle is not entirely smooth, in some places it is cracking. It appears to be covered in some type of hard cement-like substance, mineral deposit. After being chipped, the interior of object is black, like volcanic rock, almost petrified inside. Material is very hard, not simple stone, described as “preserved rock”. Hogeborn describes the sense of carbonized material. The object has rounded sides with rugged edges (not smooth). “It’s like someone has pinched the mountain at the edge, as if you have moulded together two molds, and it sticks out stones between the molds”,- Stefan Hogeborn. “We can see this phenomena at several different points on the anomaly. It appear to occur where we have these structural corridoors, cracks and such things.” – Peter Lindberg There are two round holes in the circle. One is 30 cm wide, and the other is approx. 2 meters wide and surrounded by a square formation of 2 x 2 meters. There are not only straight lined formations on the circle, there appear to have construction lines and boxes drawn on it. 90 degree angle corridors 1.5 meters in height and 3 meter wide, which are cut into the object. Divers said there was a “blackish” powder that had been attracted to the cameras. Looks like something has been very hot down there, so that the stone has melted. Dennis believes this to be true because “some stones look like their up side is burned. Also the blackish material which looks like it has been poured out gives the sense that it might been some heat down there.” – Peter Lindberg, July 4, 2012“The surface of the (circular) object has cracks in it in some places 1-2 inches wide, and in these cracks, it looks like something has poured out like magma…If the magma had come out before the ice age, it should have been scraped away by the ice, but now it’s there like it poured out yesterday.” – Earthfiles interview with Peter Lindberg ” As you understand it is very much in this that points toward this not being just a “stone formation”. “The cracks seams not to be irregular, they seams to go vertically or horizontally. Behind them you can see a blackish colored mineral(?) with the structure of old wooden planks.” – Peter Lindberg, June 21, 2012 Dennis said that a volcano is possible, however according to researchers, there has never been a volcanic activity in the Baltic Sea. Also, the object they found doesn’t look like a volcano because of the perfect circular form of it and also because of the 90 degree angles. Peter Lindberg, on the other hand feels they have found volcanic activity (see below) and this volcano-like mountain (approx. 2 km away from the anomaly) will be looked at on their next expedition.
“The entire anomaly has a thin layer of silt on it and when the divers scraped it off a blackish surface appeared underneath. Nearly the entire anomaly seams to be of the same material except a piece of cliff where I have marked the black ring for the hole and the blue ring where the the drop weight landed on the second dive. We do not know if that rocks just lays on the anomaly or if it is a part of it.“There is nearly no silt at all on the anomaly, just a very thin layer. You can clearly see the structure of the surface through the silt. I as diver would refer it to what you find on ships hull. You can clearly see the color but when you brush with your hand over the surface you notice it is a “slimy” layer on it.
The circular object rests upon a 8 meter tall pillar/foundation. “The foundation is more that it has “popped up” like a cork or it has always been there but being partly exposed by the ice or currents. It is more of a solid cliff than bottom being pushed together to a conglomerate”- Peter LindbergThe foundation increases in thickness, to a dimension of 56 meters near the top where it meets the object. On one side of circle (front), the object is extending approximately 4-6 meters off from pillar. The object does not appear to be connected to the pillar. There is a wedge formed gap between the upper part (the circle) and the lower part (pillar foundation). Looks like granite, surface of anomaly is made of different material than pillar. “During the last expedition it was confirmed that there is a wedge formed gap between the upper part (the circle) and the lower part (foundation/pillar). However, if the two parts are completely separated or if the upper part and the lower part are the same object has not been clarified“.

Carlos Colon was alone returning to town when as he neared some cross roads he began hearing a loud humming sound that seemed to be getting more intense. He decided to stop the car. He began checking the radio thinking it was the origin of the strange sound, when suddenly out o…f the corner of his eye he noticed five figures walking on the nearby embankment. The figures were described as man-like very tall; with large tear drop shaped heads, and a long neck. The facial area was covered by a dark upside down teardrop shaped area; no facial features could be seen. They all wore tight fitting dull white coveralls. They approached the witness to within 20 meters. Colon noticed that the figures seemed to be behind some type of “viewing” screen like a projection of some kind. He stared at the figures for some time, then looked back at his vehicle and noticed that it was now facing the opposite direction. He walked away, entered his vehicle, and drove away. Afterwards he felt a strange malaise and felt very apprehensive for some time.

Two young boys, 13-year old Giovanni and 15-year old Alessandro were walking alone on the Via Vittorio when they suddenly noticed a dazzling light emitting intermittent flashes. This flashing was immediately followed by a strange whistling sound. After walking for about 100 meters the two boys noticed a bizarre creature standing next to a light pole. It was described as short and white in color. The creature then moved very rapidly in a strange zigzagging motion disappearing into a nearby wooded area.

The next day the same two boys along with two other friends entered the wooded area in search for the strange creature. Soon about 50 meters away among some bushes the boys saw a round whitish head, hairless and extremely wrinkled in appearance. Terrified the boys left the area but soon returned to the site armed with a camera and a pair of binoculars. Soon they were overcome by a strange malaise and headache. They again saw the humanoid, which they described as about 90 cm in height, dirty white in color and with very long arms. It had three digit hands that ended in ball shaped tips. Its head was oval shaped devoid of any facial expression, it was pointed at the top and it had a very pointed chin. Its most prominent features were its huge black oval shaped eyes. Its mouth was but a thin line and its nose, two small round holes. Its skin appeared to be gelatinous and was very corrugated. It appeared devoid of any sexual organs. The boys left the scene. The creature was apparently seen on the next day in the same woods, but it scurried away into the brush when a witness approached it and disappeared.
In the winter of 1981 a remarkable incident occurred in the farmland of Michigan’s Thumb.
33-year-old Cindy Barone and her family claimed that a creature had been following them since September, after destroying their neighbor’s barn door. “I’ve had fences torn down and grain barrels dumped over and eaten,” she told Detroit News.
But the event that made things worse took place by the end of November.
When Barone’s daughters went to the barn to do some work that night, they had a close encounter with the unknown creature.
Tina, 13, and Roxanne, 12, said that something with “fur” was in the barn.
“Roxanne was scared to go into the barn because she’d heard noises before,” Tina told Detroit News. “I said I would go in first, so I reached in for the light,” she explained. “I don’t know what it is but I do know it is something.”
“I felt fur. At first I thought it was a goat or something, so I took my glove off and I touched it again. It let me touch him when I took my glove off. The horses were running around, they were spooked. But it was just curious, whatever it is.”
Reportedly, Tina told her younger sister to run back to the house. Then, the girl said, she also started walking slowly away from the barn, until the creature started following her and she took off running, although she admitted it didn’t try to harm her.
The rolling farmland of the Thumb
She described the mysterious intruder as being “tall with red eyes” and “big and black and furry”, standing on two legs and emitting a “deep growl”.
“It scared me so bad I just had to run. I just can’t put what it looked like into any kind of form,” Tina said.
An older family member, David Barone, tried to spook the animal by brandishing a 16-gauge shotgun. But the beast didn’t move.
“It didn’t know what to do and I didn’t either,” said Barone. “It was about 6 feet; 6 or 7 feet 6. I didn’t shoot to kill, I just shot in the air to scare it away. It ran into the woods, making a funny noise. It was standing on two feet and had real long arms-between a bear and an ape, that’s what I think. I’ve never seen a Bigfoot, so I have no idea if it was one of those.”
A police report was filed, but according to the family, the local sheriff didn’t take the story seriously and a proper investigation was not conducted. A department spokeswoman suggested that what they saw was probably a raccoon.

Cousins, Beth, 22 and Debbie, 16, had gone to a dance on this night but had to leave early in order to catch the last bus home. Around 2330 they left the nightclub and headed to the bus stop and waited for about 20 minutes. They finally boarded the bus and Debbie sat by a window. Soon,… Debbie noticed a bright reddish object apparently following the bus, but ignored it thinking that it must have been a balloon or an airplane. However she continued to observe the object until she got off the bus. Soon they reached the street Debbie lived; it was a dead end street next to a large football field. At this point the girls saw a strange disc-shaped object hovering over the field. Soon they entered Debbie’s home and went to sleep. For several years both Beth and Debbie believed that their experienced had merely the observation of the strange object hovering above the football field. However, over time both began to experience dreams involving strange-looking beings, with large black eyes. They resolved to contact a UFO researcher in order to investigate what was causing these memories or dreams. Beth was hypnotized on April 27 1991 by experienced hypnotist and Ufologist, Mario Nogueira Rangel, under regression Beth recalled seeing the object hovering at a low altitude above the football (soccer) field. She felt attracted to the field, did not want to go, but something caused her to walk in that direction, Inexplicably a figure suddenly appeared in front of her, confused Beth noticed that the strange being beckoned to her, pointing up. He was about 1.30m high, ‘ugly’ resembling a large insect, with a huge bald head and long thin arms, with fingers that reached below the knees. He wore a kind of tight fitting green coverall, which covered the feet and up to the wrists and neck. ‘His’ eyes were very large and dark, the hands were very ugly, with four fingers of the same size, and his skin was a strange mixture of brown, gray and green. The ‘thumb’ of the alien was positioned higher than humans, and Beth could not see any nails but saw what appeared to be very thin webbing in between the fingers. Propelled by some force Beth and the alien are directed into a cylinder of light which floated Beth and then Deborah into the hovering ship. They then came to a room where Debbie was taken by two aliens to another location. Beth was then taken by three aliens to a nearby room, where she is unable react and placed on a low bed attached to the floor by a stalk, her feet overlapped the table. One of the aliens stood by the side of the bed while the other two remained on the other side one was operating a small screen-like device which was placed on a bracelet on Beth’s wrist. They grabbed her nose and she felt her right nostril dilate. One of the beings carried in his hand a long thin transparent device with a round object at the end. The device or tube was then introduced into her right nostril. The second being helped while the third watched. Beth saw a screen overhead similar in design to a television monitor with a long tube that was attached to her neck. Apparently she was able to see on the screen anything that was being removed or inserted into her body, which caused her to feel a lot of pressure. Upon leaving Beth noticed that a tiny piece of oval shaped crystal had apparently been left in her head. One of the beings also stuck a sharp instrument on Beth’s big toe which she assumed was to remove blood or for another implant. The three aliens talked among each other but Beth could not understand their language. The bracelet was then removed and one of the beings using hand gestures indicated that she should get up. She sat up on the ‘bed’ and saw her shoes on the floor. The alien then gestured for her to stand up, she then put her shoes on and saw her cousin being brought up and then both taken into the same luminous cylinder that initially had brought them up to the ship. Beth had asked the aliens where they were from and what were they doing on Earth but received no response. She only had a vague impression of being instructed but could not remember nothing about that. At no time did the aliens speak to her, only to each other. They never showed any emotion but looked at her intently with penetrating glances. In the end of the beings approached her and stared into her eyes, without saying anything. Moments later they were already on the field, not knowing how they had come down. The UFO was gone. Beth thinks she received a telepathic message instructing her to go home, which she did running. Once there she felt thirsty and drank two glasses of water and two of orange juice. Hypnosis of Debbie came a few days later on May 5 1991: Debbie described the light emitted by the object as orange covered in mist. She recalls that upon arrival inside the UFO she was separated from Beth and escorted to another room whose door opened like the lens of a camera. This room was hazy orange but lighter. She was sitting on horseshoe shaped chair attached to the floor by a metal rod and was accompanied by three very similar aliens. In the room there were many round buttons and small appliances or monitors resembling televisions. The beings had very large eyes and four fingered hands, very thin, wrinkled and without nails and with webbing in between. They seemed to be barefooted with similar ugly looking feet. There were two small holes instead of a nose and their ears seemed to be glued to their large bald heads, arms, legs and necks were long and thin. They noted with great interest her clothing, touched her face, mouth and teeth. They looked closely at her fingernails and her right foot. Soon after a metal claw-like appendage grabbed on to her left arm and held her left wrist. One of the beings then produced a long device whose tip had two small transparent spheres, which were filled on one side with white liquid and the other side with dark fluid, which she assumed was blood, not that she had been pinched or perforated. Next to the being was something similar to a computer screen where Debbie saw drawings of thin squiggly lines which she imagined was a representation of her body. One of the beings was operating the equipment and wrote some ‘words’ on the screen in an unknown alphabet. The creature was very busy touching numerous knobs and buttons with his long thin fingers. They talked to each other without moving their mouths or lips in a very strange language that Debbie imitated as “Ti ti ti”. Debbie then asked what they wanted and why was she chosen but received no reply. The back of her chair suddenly fell back and Debbie was now lying as the aliens examined and touched her eyes with great curiosity. At one point Debbie left the chair and followed the aliens, for whom she felt great affection, despite their appearance and behavior. She went to a wall nearby which stood motionless three of the aliens. One of them pointed something resembling a ‘gun’ which emitted a beam of bright light causing the clothes on Debbie to ‘disappear’. Providing the conditions for a more detailed examination which ensued immediately as the aliens then touched her breast, navel, and specially her vaginal area, one of the beings slapped her thing several times. They examined her back and buttocks and cut and saved a bit of hair. Returning to the chair Debbie was already dressed not knowing how. After the examination she did not see the aliens again. She then pressed a few buttons and a door opened she walked out and was already in the street near her home accompanied by Beth.

Ray Fowler is one of the luminaries of Ufology and is bringing his vast experience to the public via adult education classes. His classes range from alien abduction to out of body experiences, which he believes have similarities.

Fowler has written 11 books on his UFO investigations, the first in 1974. It was titled Ufos: Interplanetary Visitors; A Ufo Investigator Reports on the Facts, Fables, and Fantasies of the Flying Saucer Conspiracy, and largely focused on his UFO investigations with the Mutual UFO Network, where he served as the Director of Scientific Investigations.
Although Fowler played a large role in many of the most important UFO investigations over the years, he is most known for his investigation of a group abduction of four young men in Alagash, Maine, and for the abduction experiences of Betty Andreasson Luca. Both of which Fowler documented in books. What has become known as the Andreasson Affair, the title of his first book on Andreasson’s abduction experiences, resulted in three books.

Professionally, Fowler spent much of his life in defense. After graduating college, he worked for the National Security Agency as a cryptographer, intercepting Russian communications. Then he served in the U.S. Air Force Security Service for four years. After the air force, Fowler spent 25 years working with Sylvania/GTE Government Systems, including serving as senior planner for the Minuteman Missile program.
According to a recent article on The Village, Fowler’s interests in the heavens began when he was 10 years old and he and his sister saw an exhibit of telescopes. He had to have one, and eventually did a couple years later.
Although the nights of staring at the sky with his telescope marked the beginning of his curiosity about what might be out there, his fascination with UFOs was piqued when he had his own sighting as a teenager on July 4, 1947. Coincidentally, or not, the same time as the famous Roswell UFO Crash.
“I remember the long rows,” Fowler told The Village. “The farmer put jugs of water for us at the end of the row. I was thirsty so I was working like mad, and well ahead of the other workers making my way to the water when what first looked like a parachute to me appeared in the sky. I realized it was not. It was a disc-shaped object.”
Fowler says the object hovered for a few minutes and then was gone. He was the only one to see it and he assumed it was an experimental government aircraft of some sort. Then he saw that others had seen it and that the Air Force was looking into UFOs.
Many years later, after a lifetime of UFO investigations, Fowler wrote UFO Testament: Anatomy of an Abducttee, in which he said his UFO encounters continued, and that he was also an abductee.
Fowler’s paranormal interests did not end with UFOs and outer space. He has also studied out of body and near-death experiences. His interest in this area had begun when his father was struck by lightning while working as a radio operator. One day he was pulling down an antennae to prepare for a thunder storm that was rolling in when he got hit.
That is when Fowler says his father had a near-death experience.
“As he was lying there he realized he was out of his body and that a tunnel of light was coming through the top of the station straight down through the floor. He said that three robed figures did something to him, threw something across the wires, bowed to him and went up into the light.”
Fowler witnessed how everyone, including Fowler himself, was skeptical about his father’s experience. Fowler did not believe his father until another paranormal experience took place.
Friends of the family had a son that was a soldier during World War II. They had not heard from their son and they were concerned. Since Fowler’s father had a near-death experience, they thought he might be able to help and asked if he could sense anything.
While in a dream-like state, Fowler’s father said he saw their friends’ son on the battlefield with a bandage on his arm and he was carrying a little dog. Fowler says, “A short time later the [family] received a letter from [their son]. In the letter he told them he has suffered some shrapnel wounds. He also told them all about a little dog they (his unit) found and kept with them.”
Fowler has had an interest in near-death experiences ever since. His book, The Watchers II, in part, examines the similarities between alien abduction and near-death experiences.
Now, at the age of 80, Fowler is teaching courses on UFOs, alien abduction, and near-death experience offered by Adult Education of the Kennebunks and Arundel. The Village reports that, “Fowler’s students appreciate and admire that the courses he teaches are fact-based and dependent on the latest research, his gentle nature and open-mindedness are what keep them coming back.”
Eunice Sargent, a student who has taken several of his courses says, “Ray is very solid, very well-read and knowledgeable about a lot of topics. He is precise and careful but he doesn’t force his opinions or judge the opinions of others. He gives information and allows sharing. He’s cool that way.”
