Daily 2 Cents: Contacting Houdini From Beyond — Entity Above My Bed — Mysterious Animals of Cryptozoology
Daily 2 Cents: Contacting Houdini From Beyond — Entity Above My Bed — Mysterious Animals of Cryptozoology
Hungarian-born Harry Houdini (nee Ehrich Weiss) was the world’s greatest conjurer of magick, performing deeds beyond human comprehension. But he wasn’t in any way, shape, or form a believer in the paranormal. His tricks were all cunningly designed, and his body was trained to withstand rigors that would make a Navy SEAL squeal “momma!”
Houdini lived in an age when Spiritualism ran rampant. He battled mediums in court, because he could easily see through the tricks they used to fool the gullible. After all, Harry probably invented a couple of them. He duplicated the medium’s act, debunking them in the witness box and on public stages.
In fact, he was an original member of the Scientific American committee that offered a cash prize to any medium who could successfully contact the dead. No one has ever collected on the dare.
His friendship with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle ended in a bitter breakup because of their opposing views on Spirituality. Doyle was a great supporter of spooks interacting with the material plane; the Great Houdini thought contacting the spirit world was just pure hokum.
Oddly, Harry debunked a seance that Doyle attended so well that Sir Arthur though Houdini himself wasn’t exposing, but channeling, the supernatural. You just can’t win.
On Halloween, October 31, 1926, Harry Houdini joined the netherworld spirits he had spent so much effort fighting, dying of a ruptured appendix. He was buried in a coffin he used in his show for one of his bits of derring-do.
Houdini was interred in the Machpelah Cemetery in Queens, New York, with the crest of the Society of American Magicians inscribed on his gravestone. To this day, the Society holds its “Broken Wand” ceremony at his resting place every Halloween, the anniversary of his passing.
But the great escape artist, despite his skepticism, had one more trick up his sleeve. Before his death, he set up a code that he’d contact his wife Bess with if he could somehow wriggle through the wall separating the living from the dead. She would pass the same code on to him if she died first.
Partially, he hit upon the idea because he never passed on a challenge. But practically, Houdini came up with the encryption so that Spiritualists couldn’t claim to have made contact with their great nemesis once he was on the other side and couldn’t defend himself in this earthly vale.
The cypher was based on an old vaudeville trick and something that only he and Bess would know. The message was, “Rosabelle-answer-tell-pray, answer-look-tell-answer, answer-tell”. Sounds kinda mysterious, but for an old show biz couple, it was simplicity exemplified.
The inside of Bess’ wedding band was engraved with “Rosabelle”, the name of a popular song she sang in her act when they first met. The other words represented an alphabetic code used by the magician and his assistants to pass asides without the audience knowing. In stage shorthand, the rest of the message spelled out “Believe.”
Bess Houdini held annual seances on Halloween for ten years after Houdini’s death, but Houdini never showed. Oh, once a Reverend Ford claimed to be in contact with Houdini and his mom, code and all, but it ended up that Bess had inadvertently let the message slip to newspaper writers the year before.
In 1936, after a last unsuccessful seance on the roof of the Knickerbocker Hotel, she put out the candle that she had kept burning beside a photograph of Houdini since his death, later saying “ten years is long enough to wait for any man.”
Then again…at the moment she snuffed out the candle, a violent thunderstorm broke out overhead, with boomers, lightning, and a torrential downpour. They would later learn that the cloudburst didn’t occur anywhere else in Hollywood, just above the Hotel. Was it a freak storm or did he show up after all?
Anyway, the tradition of holding a seance for Houdini continues by magicians throughout the world to this day.
The yearly Houdini Seances are most notably held at the Houdini Museum in Scranton by magician Dorothy Dietrich, who had sat for them at New York’s famous Magic Towne House. Bess had asked Walter Gibson to carry on the tradition after her fruitless decade, and before Gibson died he asked Dietrich to continue the mystic circle after him.
And yes, the seances have joined the modern age of internet magick. The museum is asking that serious channelers (“no kooks, please,” it requests of participants) try to contact Harry and e-mail the results to the museum.
A web seance…we think it’s time to let the Great Houdini get some rest. Maybe he finally got himself into one spot where he can’t escape. But then again…
Some say that the shade of Houdini roams where his old Laurel Canyon home once stood. Those that pay a visit on Halloween claim to see a dark figure standing on the spectral staircases or walking in the garden grotto.
Many believe that this shadowy shape is that of Harry Houdini himself. The magician always said that if it would be possible for him to come back, he would. Maybe he has. – Reader submission
Maybe this isn’t the right place to post this, since it’s more like a dream, but I’ve been thinking a lot about an experience that happened to me a few months ago and don’t really have anyone to talk to about it.
I was asleep and dreaming. There was nothing unusual about the dream. I was cooking pasta on the stove in a woman’s kitchen, but she wasn’t home, so I tried to hurry up. I’m boiling water and a pretty blonde woman appeared and said it was okay to use her stove. It’s just some nonsense dream, until she stops and stares at me and looks at me with intense concern and says, “Here. Let me get it out of you,” and raises her hand toward me, as if to remove something from my hair.
I wake up and I’m staring at the ceiling. In between my body and the ceiling is this black ink-like mist that is symmetrical, like an inkblot. It’s morphing and hovering there. It’s completely non-human… Just a lively intricate design. I bolt up straight in my bed and scream bloody murder at it. It vanishes.
I was terrified but that fear went right to anger and my first instinct to protect myself was to shriek at it. I woke the whole damn house up that night. I used to have night terrors as a kid, so my mom thought nothing of me screaming, which is a little troubling, but whatever.
What are your thoughts? Has anything like this happened to anyone else? Did some nice lady remove this crazy looking thing from me? I wonder how many other blobs are in there. – Reddit.com
Inside the international scientific community, cryptozoology – the study of animals whose existence has not been recognized yet by zoologists – is seen as a futile hobby for naive and romantic people.
However, the simple consideration that just about 250 years ago the classified animal species amounted approximately to one thousand, should lead to a more conservative and less dogmatic approach, not forgetting that still nowadays new species are being discovered every year.
The purpose of this article is to analyze evidence and testimony concerning some peculiar animals and then, in the second part, examine reports about the alleged presence of strange beings that do not seem to be mere animals. Continue reading at OpenMindsTV

Memphis Daily Appeal, March 30, 1875 pg 1. The article reads,
“The recent high waters in East Tennessee has unearthed Indian bones in many places and the Kingston Tennessean thus speaks of discoveries in Roane county: On Long Island, a skeleton was exposed which was adjudged to have been a brave of some eight or ten feet in height, which throws Captain McElwee’s mound-builder quite in the shade. In Colonel Center’s bottom, a short distance from town, where formerly stood an …Indian mound, numerous skeletons were also exposed, near which were found many articles common among Indians, such as stone hatchets, rude unshapen beads made out of pebbles, flint arrow heads, pipes, portions of earthen vessels, etc., which according to tradition, it was customary to bury with their dead for use when they reached the happy hunting ground. Mr. J. M. Denning has gathered a number of the reminiscence of the past and has had many visitors to view them.”
Captain W. E. McElwee was a prominent lawyer in Roane County Tennessee. The following is part of his bio from the History of Tennessee and Tennesseans by William Thomas Hale 1913 pg 2451.
“One of the oldest members of the Roane county bar, to which he was admitted in 1860, but now for many years retired, Captain McElwee has had the career typical of much that has been beast in the lives of Tennesseans, during the last half century-as soldiers, lawyers, successful business men and always a man of influence and the highest integrity of personal character.”
The article is suggesting that McElwee had previously unearthed a rather large skeleton. He did indeed unearth several skeletons from a burial mound in Tennessee but I could not find any measurements in the historical literature. The moral to the story is once again that these are burial mound human skeletal finds with human artifacts. These are real people (often prominent and well respected), real places and the historical events are often reported by respected historians in town and county histories. Smithsonian agents also unearthed a seven and a half foot skeleton in Roane County Tennessee, as listed in the 12th annual report of 1890-1891.
Onondaga: Reminiscences of earlier and later times by Joshua Victor Hopkins Clark, 1849 pg 83. The following is reported,
“Near the west bank of the creek, was an extensive Indian burying-ground, where skeletons have frequently been disinterred and are occasionally to this day-two having been exhumed during the past year. At the time the wet locks were constructed at Syracuse, in 1819, over one hundred were taken up. In excavating the canal for the red mill, on the east bank… of the creek, several skeletons were found. In 1843, one of extraordinary size was disinterred; one of the lower bones of the leg being set beside the limb of a tall man, reached far above his knee. The skull was comparatively large and the jaws were surrounded with a full set of double teeth, all around, They were perfectly sound, covered with a beautiful enamel of the most perfect whiteness.”
Reports obscurely buried in all manner of scientific and historical document, from all around the country, over decades of time, in an era of inefficient communication, reporting the same anatomic anomalies, does it make sense that this is not a reality? Sorry about the run on sentence but isn’t it obvious to the non-conflicted mind. These over 1000 accounts are not part of an anthropological curriculum in college. Quite to the contrary they are entirely absent from the text books although they constitute sober observational reports of ancient skeletal remains. While not done with the expertise of today’s scientist they are nevertheless the first skeletal accounts and descriptions of the ancient races of America. You would think physical anthropologists would be very interested in this information and quickly be able to make the connections and understand the profound nature of the material. Instead, anthropologists and archaeologists are all taught that to speak of giant skeletons is career suicide, on par with unicorns and dragons. The Cardiff giant story is beaten to death and mastodon remains are the supposed reason for the confusion. The disturbingly racist beginnings of anthropology in this country are not highlighted and all the anomalies in the field of anthropology are not encouraged to be looked at. Here we are left, where common sense would tell anyone that something is out of whack and more investigation is needed but professionals literally refuse to give it look.
In Kuban village Trinity everyone is talking about the visit of unknown creatures. Some believe that at night in the barn appears cast, others are convinced that it’s aliens, and local ufologist called guest plasmoid.
Several nights in lens surveillance camera installed on the facade of the warehouse, gets something glowing and floating in the air. People are afraid to leave the house at night and speculated.
Tatiana White, local resident: “Have you seen the cartoon about Casper? It was something gel, air, rose up and sank. “
Tatiana works as a watchman and a mysterious object encountered in the workplace. The woman says that someone sought out like a ghost and looked curiously at the camera surveillance. She ran outside to investigate, but during this time the ghost allegedly illegally penetrated her workplace.
Tatiana White: “We have already disabled heating pipes banging. Someone rummaging in a trash bin, although we have mice. “
The incident immediately watchman told neighbors, but those were not surprised. As it turned out, this phenomenon or an intruder, they also met more than once.
Andrew Kudryakov, a local resident: “We somehow the guys noticed the glow, even glow and some object. I do not know what it is. Decided to stop to come, and when approached, all vanished like a mist. “
Soon luminous object began to appear not only on the stock, but also on the streets. Residents of the village divided into two camps. Some even have no doubt that it was a ghost, others believe that the so-called phantom – the usual firefox, though larger sizes. Excited residents volunteered to help Kuban ufologist. He carefully examined the record and put forward a very different version.
Yuri Stroganov, ufologist “This is not an insect, apparently, this is not some technical thing. This can be called a plasmoid. Plasmoids recorded TV, video and fotopparaturoy, the human eye can not see them. “
In the village in the near future will come a special group of ufologists. They promise to install sensors, the so-called trap ghosts to clarify the origin of the mysterious stranger. Meanwhile Tatiana White, not waiting studies, just in case gave recording cameras to the police…
Buddhist master describes UFO sighting in 1884…Hsu Yun (aka Xu-Yun), famous Chan Buddhist monk, recounts a UFO sighting from 1884 in his autobiography.
Last week we received an email from Sanjin Đumišić, a Swedish writer, photographer, intermedia composer and editor-in-chief for the Swedish music site AlltFörMusik.se. He wanted us to check out his blog entry about a cool discovery he made while reading the autobiography of a famous Chan Buddhist.
Chan is often described as …Chinese Zen Buddhism, of which Hsu Yun was one of the most influential Buddhist masters. He is believed to have lived for 119 years. He was born in 1840, and died in 1959. Online you can find a pictorial biography of the life on Master Hsu Yun, and also his autobiography, titled Empty Cloud (the UFO sighting is on pages 47 and 48 of this pdf).
Sanjin was surprised to discover a passage recounting Hsu Yun’s visit to Da-luo Peak in 1884, where he went to pay respects to the “wisdom lamps.” Hsu Yun writes:
I climbed the Da-luo Peak, where I paid reverence to the ‘wisdom lamps’ said to appear there. I saw nothing the first night but on the second, I saw a great ball of light flying from the Northern to the Central Peak, where it came down, splitting a short while later into over ten balls of different sizes. The same night, I saw on the Central Peak three balls of light flying up and down in the air and on the Northern Peak, four balls of light which varied in size.
Wisdom-LightsThis story can also be found in the pictorial biography and reads: The Master bowed to the Wisdom Lamps on top of Ta Lo Mountain. People often came to this spot to witness what fortune they might. At first there was nothing unusual, but then they all appeared: Large ones, small ones, and in between – each fireball was unique.
Hsu Yun has two Buddhist orders named after him, and although he is so famous, I could not find any more information about the “wisdom lights.” However, the area where he saw them does now have a Buddhist temple.
Sanjin was surprised to come across this UFO reference in an unrelated book. He writes in his blog, “There must be so much more of these observations hidden in books you don’t expect to find any UFO references.”
Users of Twitter reported having seen a UFO in the vicinity of Mexico's Popocatepetl Volcano on Monday morning. In recent days, the government of that country has reported an increase in the stratovolcano's activity, recording up to 430 emanations in 24 hours with outbursts of incandescent material.
Following a photograph of volcanic activity this morning by @webcamsdemexico, taken from the popular SkyAlert, Twitter users higlighted the presence of an unusual dark spot in the images.
The video displays the strange phenomenon over the volcano.

What do you believe was behind this report and photograph?
I have noticed a white bright round object in the sky on 6/6/2014 at 16:20 (Local Cyprus time), 14:20 GMT,at the following approximate position. latitude 35° 3’17.44″N, longitude 33°26’32.30″E
Fortunately the background sky at the time was quite dark as a heavy storm was approaching, helping to spot the UFO, due to increased contrast. At first I thought that it was a white nylon bag carried away in the sky by wind. I later realized that it was not the case as its movements did not resemble those of wind.
It moved randomly a couple of times vertically downwards nearing about 100m from ground level as well as horizontally around the specified spot. It maneuvered for about three minutes and then moved steadily at approx. 60 – 80 km/hr in a westward direction. After moving a distance of about 10 Km it moved fast in a Southerly direction away from me. I have taken a picture of the object with a 5MP Nokia phone. It would have been nice if I had a better camera.
Considering the distance observed I estimate the diameter to be approximately 70m.I could not hear any specific noise produced from the object probably due to distance from it. I am attaching the picture that I managed to take.with my mobile phone. It is the first time that I have noticed such an object.
We leave it for you decide on the origin of the object. Is it a Balloon, bird, blimp, aircraft or something else?
If you have any information or able to get film or photographic documentation then please contact the Paranormal Chronicles at : Paranormalchronicles@aol.com.
Some of the most controversial aspects of our recent book Real Encounters, Different Dimensions, and Otherworldy Beings dealt with contactees, abductees, and others who claim that their encounters with alien beings were achieved through dreams, astral projections, near-death experiences, and past life memories. After our more than 50 years researching accounts of UFO contact, it has become clear to us that thousands of experiencers have met UFO intelligences through the mind, spirit, or nonphysical self and that consciousness offers a valid tool for exploring the UFO phenomenon.
Recently, quantum physicist Dr. Robert Lanza expressed his thesis that consciousness exists outside of the constraints of time and space. It is able to be anywhere: in the human body and outside of it. It is non-local in the same sense that quantum objects are non-local. Dr. Lanza also believes that multiple universes can exist simultaneously. In one universe, an individual can be dead. And in another, he or she continues to exist, absorbing other consciousnesses which have entered into their universe.
Dr. Lanza is not the only physicist or astrophysicist who postulates the existence of parallel worlds and who suggest the possibility of multiple universes. These theorists alsobelieve that no physical laws exist which would prohibit the existence of parallel worlds. Many of them maintain that it is consciousness that creates the material universe, not the other way around.
Dr. Lanza boldly points to the structure of the universe itself, and argues that the laws, forces, and constants of the universe appear to be finetuned for life, implying that intelligence existed prior to matter. He also claims that space and time are not objects or things, but rather tools of our animal understanding.
If, as many physicists and paranormal researchers argue that the human essence can soar free of the accepted limitations of time and space imposed by the physical body and may therefore truly engage in “astral flight,” “soul travel,” or the more academic “out-of-body experience,” then it may well be that the paraphysical aspect of humankind may more easily interact with that paraphysical species we commonly identify as the UFOnaut. Indeed, many accounts that tell of a subject having been taken aboard a UFO may be descriptions of a mental/spiritual/nonmaterial experience, rather than an actual physical/material one.
Thousands of men and women have been provided with their own personal evidence and proof of the validity of the ecsomatic existence of human personality. There is an enormous body of literature dealing with out-of-body experiences (OBE), near-death experiences (NDE), and so-called astral travel, and numerous accounts of the phenomenon are to be found in mystical and religious traditions.
Spontaneous OBEs most often seem to fall within eight general categories: (1) projections while the subject sleeps; (2) projections while the subject is undergoing surgery, childbirth, tooth extraction, etc.; (3) projection at the time of accident, during which the subject receives a terrible physical jolt and seems to have his spirit literally thrown from his body; (4) projection during intense physical pain; (5) projection during illness; (6) projection during near-death experiences(NDE), wherein the subject “dies” for several moments and is subsequently revived ; (7) projection at the moment of death, when the deceased subject appears to a living percipientwith whom he has an emotional link; (8) conscious out-of-body projections in which the subject deliberately seeks to project his spirit from his body.
Now, it would appear, another category must be added: projection during which the subject feels that he has been taken aboard a spaceship and/or visited another world, and has interacted with an alien intelligence.
Susan H., of Pennsylvania, witnessed a low overflight of a UFO when she was five years old. She stood on her front lawn, spellbound, as the craft came speeding over the rooftops in her neighborhood.
Today she has a degree in chemistry, and she is the technical manager of an industrial laboratory. She is married, with no children-a levelheaded woman with her feet solidly on the ground. And yet she reports a vision, a dream of being taken to a large group of people who are gathered in a strange city. The people seem concerned and are talking with great agitation about recent uncertain reports of odd weather patterns. Susan knows about the reports, but she is not anxious, because to her they were normal and expected.
At this point in the dream she gestures upward to a clouded sky where two, possibly three, golden submarine-type spacecraft have appeared. “I had been totally aware of their impending arrival.”
Susan says that the vision shifts, and she is transported with a large number of people aboard one of the craft. “Each of us has a small collection of things with us in various types of knapsacks, suitcases, and so forth. We are in this huge room that seems to have some curves to it. We receive a message to go to the view port. All of us are unafraid, accepting and expectant.
“We are hovering high enough, so that a sense of the curvature of theEarth can be seen, but we are not so high that we cannot see that we are over the water with the shoreline in full view. We are told that they will begin a rotation of the spaceship and that we will see that there is nothing to be concerned about, such as falling down because of gravity. The ship begins to rotate. As we watch the shoreline move during the rotation, we are amazed and excited, and feeling somewhat unnatural. We are astonished when we stay in one spot with respect to the motion of the ship.
“It was an incredible feeling, and one which I distinctly recall to this day,” Susan said. “It was almost like the kind of amusement park ride that strives to disorient through optical illusion. After the rotation we were told to make ourselves comfortable, and we returned to the corridor outside the view port and sat on the floor. I had the sense that we were going on a long voyage, but one which I knew was not going to take long.”
Vickie states that at the age of five or six, she had a dream of being on another planet. She still remembers how beautiful it was. The colors were vivid and clear, and there were more varieties of colors than there were on Earth. The main color of the planet, she recalls, was a glorious yellow.
Although Vickie firmly states that she considers the Earth to be very beautiful, she has never thought of herself as an earthling or felt truly at home on this planet. During the last several years, she has become even more convinced of her extraterrestrial origin. In fact, she thinks that all humans are. She wonders if the men and women call themselves “Star People” could be enlightened ones from the same part of the Universe.
In a psychic vision she understood that she spent three hundred years on Venus in preparation before coming to Earth and· that she comes from a place in the stars called Sananda. Vickie has also been told that somewhere in space there is a very large spaceship in which there is a body that she occupied in a previous lifetime lying in a state of suspended animation.
When Vickie was eighteen years old, she met Glenn, whom she later married. Glenn told her that when he was twelve years old he had been entrusted with some information from the stars. At last Vicki had found someone with whom she could communicate, someone to whom she could relate.

Scott Waring, author of UFO Sightings Daily, says, ”this was emailed into me, about these long underwater structures, but nearby it I found 16 round objects in two groups of eight that look like disks at the bottom of the ocean…in flight formation. Very unique and may be linked to the 1940s Battle of Los Angeles UFOs seen over the city. They are at the edge of Santa Monica and Marina Del Rey.”

Waring says, “The long structures are all pointing to each other and in the center between them all the area is pixalated and obscured…thus evidence that something is being hidden from the publics view. Most likely and entrance area to an underwater alien base. This could be an ancient one and not necessarily a currently used base.”
“Interdimensional Beings.” Let’s go to Wikipedia to get an overview: There is a hypothesis called “Interdimensional hypothesis,” relating that UFOs, aliens, shadow people, crop circles, Bigfoot, and ghostly activity are all explained by the passage of beings from another dimension occasionally crossing into our dimension and being glimpsed. I’ll be honest. When I first heard about this theory, I laughed. It’s a normal reaction when hearing such a “universal” view of ghostly activity. Then, I started reading more about it and considering it. Honestly, the concept of souls of the departed lingering as if their lives on Earth weren't enough seemed equally as ludicrous. And, having witnessed shadow people and other apparitions, I have come to wonder if this is all we perceive of something crossing through one dimension and interacting with another. Shadow people: When people report seeing a shadow person out of the corner of their eye, they turn and watch it, sometimes showing a startle as if it didn't think you could see it and then just races away into full vanish. How? Here's how it would work – we are 3 dimensional, we put our finger on a photograph that is a 2-dimensional image. If that 2-dimensional being had thought and vision, he would see only that part that is in the 2nd dimension with him, length and width but not height. So, he'd see another of his own kind appearing and then (when we take our finger away) vanishing! So it would be with interaction between dimensions. Only the portion we perceive in our 3rd dimension would be visible for us and the rest of it would remain only visible for those in the next dimension. This gives a good explanation for the coming and going “out of thin air” and some of the qualities that are not quite like us, such as all black solid looking figure with no detail or sheer-see-thru apparition. Ghosts: Some things explained by this theory include the lack of evidence of visitations, the difficulty capturing them, their ability to show up and then disappear suddenly, and the inability to capture on camera or recording device. Locations: There are also some areas like Bennington Triangle that have a wide variety of events occurring on one place that make them seem likely portals for the dimensions. Skinwalker Ranch in Utah is another popularly cited location that supposedly opens “portals” to other dimensions. Heaven, aliens, and weird cryptids: Concepts: Taking the example of the 2-dimensional image and the 3-dimensional person, they exist in the same space (person holding a photograph or watching a TV) but the image has no height and consequently would not perceive such a thing because it is out of the realm of its capability. So this might be with man in his third dimensional incarnation – we cannot perceive the next dimension because we do not possess those attributes. If the 2-dimensional photograph represents a non-intelligent/non-cognizant image of me in the third dimension, so could I in the third dimension cognitively and intelligently represent a version of me in the next dimension? That is how Heaven might be explained. The next incarnation that adds a spiritual attribute to the concept of Sharon – like the 3-dimensional me adds physicality to the image version of me on photograph. Each incarnation adds more understanding and more unlimited access to the universe; the 2-dimensional sits on a wall, the 3-dimensional flies around the earth, the next dimensional ??? Evidence: I've been considering some evidence recently that we might audibly hear the interference of two dimensions. Imagine Mr. Photograph in the 2-dimensional form – what if a 3-dimensional person puts their finger on their world. Mr. Photograph only seems length and width and realizes it's like one of his own kind but he does notice two different things – 1. That this being came out of nowhere and left all of a sudden. 2. It is giving off a lot of heat compared to the other beings in their realm. This kind of understanding might make it easier for us discern when and how and even where other dimensions might be interfering with our own world. Phenomena is always the best indicator and, like those freaky shadow people with detail who come and go with no notice, we see red flags. Heed those red flags. We might not understand the other dimensions, but we might also come to understand when they are playing with ours.
Conclusion
Any way you look at the concept of interdimensional beings, I actually have it as one of the top of my list of explanations for phenomenon. I am more likely to believe that concept than souls being stuck here because they don’t know they’re dead or they unfinished business which I put further down my list. Just some of the things attributed to being interdimensional include; UFOs, grey aliens, reptoids, shadow people, other types of aliens, Bigfoot, Yeti, ghosts, and pretty much anything not explained that is “phenomena.” What do I think of it? Well, I have zero doubt there are other dimensions and since we do interact regularly with 2-dimensional images like television, there is no reason to think other dimensions don't access ours or we interact with theirs. The 2-dimensional photograph might not know we touched them or that they represent an image of someone we love, but we might play a similar role to another dimension – they can interact with us, but we are limited by physicality and 5 senses and are unable to process it except in right conditions when we get a glimpse. The 2-dimensional world can't mess with us, but we can enter theirs and mess with it – burn a photograph, draw on a sketch, whatever – but it cannot come and mess with our world. So, it might be this way with interdimensional beings – they have the ability to affect and enter our world, but we cannot mess with theirs. The plot thickens…. And some people take it to be a place of evil (rather ironic if this is the place of Heaven) — see this —
The article reads,
“A mound containing the skeletons of several prehistoric people has been discovered on a farm near Carthage, Ill. The skeletons lay in all conceivable positions and are supposed to be those of warriors who fell in battle. It is believed that the farm is the site of an ancient battlefield. The skeletons are of unusual size and the teeth in the skulls are larger than those of ordinary human beings. The authorities …of Carthage college have received permission to explore the cave and a noted antiquarian has been sent for to aid in the investigation.”
A common theme in many of these accounts and in Native American oral history is evidence suggesting ancient conflicts and wars that occurred. Intricate defensive works and hilltop forts of earth and stone existed in many states around the Ohio River Valley in ancient times. Many details of these giant skeleton reports point to something that indicates an anthropological mystery beyond the excessive size of the remains. Teeth being larger than those of ordinary human beings is often reported. A difficult thing to explain away because it occurs so often in these reports.
El Paso Herald, April 19, 1915. A report of the unearthing of a giant skeleton from Arizona is given. “The skeleton of a giant fully eight feet tall has been found near Silver City”, said H. E. Davis. “The thigh bone of this ancient inhabitant of the southwest measures two inches more than the ordinary man and must have been a giant of great strength. The jaw bone is large enough to fit over the jaw of an ordinary man. A peculiarity of the forehead is that it recedes from the eyes like that of an ape. The similarity is still further found in the sharp bones under the eyes. The skeleton was found encased in baked mud, indicating that encasing the corpse in mud and baking them was the mode of embalming. Near the skeleton was found a stone weighing 12 pounds which, judging from its shape, must have been a club. The wooden handle has rotted away but there are marks on the stone that indicate that it had been bound to a wooden handle with tongs. It is rather peculiar that less than 30 miles from where this skeleton was found and located on the Gile river are the former houses of a tribe of small cliff dwellers. The existence of these two races so near together form an interesting topic.” These “gorilla-like” or “monkey-like” skulls have been reported in many states, several times by Smithsonian personnel. Professor Thomas Wilson the curator of Prehistoric Anthropology for the Smithsonian, said the following about the find of an eight foot one and a half inch giant skeleton in Miamisburg, Ohio in 1897, “The authenticity of the skull is beyond doubt, Its antiquity is unquestionably great. To my own personal knowledge several such crania were discovered in the Hopewell group of mounds in Ohio, exhibiting monkey-like traits.” In 1923, John Peabody Harrington working for the Smithsonian during an excavation of the Burton mound in Santa Barbara California unearthed gorilla-like skulls with 7 inch jaws and 3/4 inch skulls. Sounds like alot of monkey business has been going on that Anthropology has yet to address.
Lewiston Evening Journal, July 25, 1907 pg 2. A report of unusually large skeletons found in Maine is given. “It is likely that the visitors of the Tercentennial, either at Bath or at Popham, may have the privilege of seeing skeletons of two of the magnificent specimens of physical manhood such as the American Indian of the days Sebenio, Samoset, Nahanada and Sansoa really were. Which, being interpreted, is that when James Perkins dug the cellar of his house at Popham Beach, …on the knoll next north of the Riverside Hotel, the skeletons unearthed, who were, in life from six to seven feet in height, giants in fact.
Mr. Perkins took the jaw bone of one of these Indians and placed it on his own face. It completely encased his jaw and he is a pretty good sized man. Mr. Perkins gathered all the bones of these two skeletons together and placed them in a barrel and reinterred them so. It is proposed to dig up the barrel and have the bones set together to illustrate what manner of inhabitants Weymouth and Popham discovered in the earliest years of the 17th century when they arrived in this section of Maine.” This bio is from the Penobscot Maine Maritime Museum, “Captain James E. Perkins was born in 1867 and grew up in Popham Village, on the shore of Atkins Bay at the mouth of the Kennebec. His view of the world was shaped by the river and its bustling maritime activity. Steamboats that serviced coastal and island communities, Boston-bound vessels carrying passengers and freight, work boats and pleasure craft made the Kennebec a busy thoroughfare.
Perkins was hired at age 15 as first mate on the steam tug Adelia and in 1889, at age 22, became the youngest captain on the Kennebec when he took the helm of the Percy V. He navigated the river for more than three decades as captain of a succession of steamboats: Damarin, El Dorado, Island Belle, Winter Harbor, Islesford, and Sabino.” Perkins was also an accomplished portrait photographer and the Penobscot Museum has 530 glass plate negatives of his work. Perkins was reported to have been keenly interested n the history of Maine and had a love for his community, he passed away in 1935. I have contacted countless museums and historical societies on the trail of this mystery but the reality is that the sheer volume of reports makes it a long and painstaking process to hunt down information regarding these finds. I have been in touch with Penobscot Museum and hopefully I can learn more about this matter. Records, diaries and family accounts will eventually add to the body of evidence needed to fill in the gaps of a phenomena alarmingly ignored by those whose job it is to dig for the truth.
Google relied on UFO watchers to track rogue Loon balloon
Google claimed responsibility for a cigar-shaped UFO that was seen in multiple states in October 2012. And now the technology giant has revealed more details about the incident.
The UFO sighting generated major headlines in 2012 after amateur astronomer Allen Epling captured photos and video of a strange cigar-shaped UFO in Kentucky in October 2012. A couple weeks later, local media reported that the UFO was simply a toy solar balloon. But many doubted this identification. It wasn’t until nearly a year later that Google stepped up to announce that the UFO was theirs.
Wired reported that Epling and others witnessed “a test of Project Loon, a breathtakingly ambitious plan to bring the Internet to a huge swath of as-yet-unconnected humanity—via thousands of solar-powered, high-pressure balloons floating some 60,000 feet above Earth.” Not everyone bought Google’s story because the Project Loon balloon images released by Google looked nothing like the images captured by Epling. But now Google has an explanation for that.
On May 17 at Smithsonian magazine’s “The Future is Here” festival in Washington, DC, Google X Chief Technical Architect Rich DeVaul announced that the 2012 UFO was a 120-foot-long cylinder prototype called a Falcon 11. Subsequent Loon balloon designs reportedly took on a more conventional appearance.

DeVaul also revealed that this Falcon 11 prototype was only supposed to take a brief test flight in California. But it malfunctioned, leading to its cross-country flight. In addition to losing control of the balloon, Google team members also lost the ability to track the rogue balloon. As Space.com reports, “Instead, they found themselves relying on UFO watchers across the country, tracing its trip from California to its most famous sighting in Kentucky, then on to Canada over the course of 11 days.” DeVaul adds, “If you want to start a secret stratospheric program, and one project goes rogue, you can outsource your tracking to the UFO guys.”
Google’s Project Loon had reportedly been in development for two years before it was unveiled on June 15, 2013.
Despite these latest details, there are sure to be those who still doubt that Google was truly responsible for the 2012 UFO sighting.
A New York witness at Middletown reported watching a slow moving, rectangle-shaped UFO just 20 feet from her home at the tree top level after a humming sound caused her to look out a window, according to June 10, 2014, testimony in Case 56979 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was inside watching television at 1:30 a.m. on May 5, 2014, when the humming sound caused her to investigate.
The witness remained inside the home and afraid while the object hovered just 20 feet from the home for more than five minutes. Pictured: Middletown, NY, skyline. (Credit: Wikimedia Commons)
“I saw three orange glowing lights in a rectangle form and it was moving very slow,” the witness stated. “I watched in disbelief and I was, to be honest, very afraid.”
The object then hovered near the witnesses’ home for about four to five minutes until its lights went out suddenly.
“The lights disappeared like someone was hitting the switch.”
The witness stated that an object with the same description appeared over her previous farm house less than two years ago and that her husband saw the object with her then.

Middletown is a city in Orange County, NY, population 25,388. New York MUFON is investigating. New York has a current UFO Alert Rating of 3 with a high number of recent reports nationally. New York had 31 UFO reports in May 2014 – the 3rd highest reporting state – while California had 102 reports as the highest reporting state. The above quotes were edited for clarity. Please report UFO activity to MUFON.com.

The UFO Alert Rating System is based on five levels – 1 through 5 – where states with 150 or more reports for the month are rated an Alert 1; states with 100 or more reports are rated an Alert 2; 25 reports or more for the month are rated an Alert 3; 13 or more reports are rated an Alert 4; and those states with less than 13 reports for the month are an Alert 5.
Hsu Yun (aka Xu-Yun), famous Chan Buddhist monk, recounts a UFO sighting from 1884 in his autobiography.
Chan is often described as Chinese Zen Buddhism, of which Hsu Yun was one of the most influential Buddhist masters. He is believed to have lived for 119 years. He was born in 1840, and died in 1959. Online you can find a pictorial biography of the life on Master Hsu Yun, and also his autobiography, titled Empty Cloud(the UFO sighting is on pages 47 and 48 of this pdf).
This story can also be found in the pictorial biography and reads:
The Master bowed to the Wisdom Lamps on top of Ta Lo Mountain.
People often came to this spot to witness what fortune they might.
At first there was nothing unusual, but then they all appeared:
Large ones, small ones, and in between – each fireball was unique.
