Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.
This is our new dog Kira, a cross between a water dog and a Podenko. She has been with us since February 7, 2024 and is busy winning our hearts. She is a sweet, affectionate dog who quickly adapted to us within a week. She is very quick and curious, a very different dog than Noleke.

I took my dog out just prior to going to bed at 10:45pm as I do every night. We live on the third floor of an apartment building in Irvine California. I happened to see a bright whitish orange-yellow light ascending up over the trees in the southeast sky which seemed to come toward me like a plane’s head light (which is what I assumed it was), but then it just stopped and hovered where it was at. It seemed as if we’re possibly 3-5 miles away, maybe less. I watched for a moment or two and then hurried to put my dog inside while I grabbed my iPhone and headed back out and snapped several pictures.
I then stood on the front walkway on the third floor of my building looking southeast and just watched it sit there for another 10 minutes hovering. During the time that the light was present, several helicopters were in the sky heading towards it. One of the helicopters had a search light, but the light was swirling around skyward instead of toward the ground as they do when conducting a typical search. I watched in amazement thinking there had to be a logical explanation and that it would eventually end up being a common object that I would be able to recognize, but it remained stationary. Then it was as if someone just turned out the light. It seemed as if it was still there after the light went out. Upon examining my pictures, I noticed the light seemed to have a distinctive circular shape with almost a separate round spot in the center that stayed consistent in each picture whether it was a zoom shot or a regular one. Today, I google to see if anyone else had reported anything similar and a gentleman from Temecula,CA videotaped the very same thing last night as well. Temecula is to the southeast of where I am.
For well over a decade, abduction experiencers have been discovering, much to their dismay, substances on their bodies post-abduction. Many of these fluoresce under certain types of lighting. The most common spectrum these substances are visible under is the UV spectrum, i.e., a ‘black light.’ In 2003, abduction researcher and professional counselor Eve Lorgen published an article about this particular type of evidence of alien abduction titled Fluorescence Findings on Various Body Sites of Abductees. Eve Lorgen holds a B.S. in biochemistry and worked in the biotechnology industry for 7 years. According to Eve,
“The most common use for fluorometric compounds are for fluorescence labeling of substances such as DNA, enzymes, and antibodies in immunology, medical diagnostics and biotechnology. They are also employed as cytochemical stains, fluorescent probes and markers in histology. Fluorophores are excellent for the detection of trace metal and pesticide analysis…”
According to Eve, “The primary fluorescence found on abductees is in the brilliant yellow-green region of the visible spectrum…These sites include: the arm, forearm, shoulder, behind ear, breasts, back of calves, hands, chin, chest, vaginal opening, pubic hair, dog hair, and also inside the mouth and on the tongue itself. Most fluorescence is subdermal, although occasionally some fluorescence spots could be wiped away, yet most is retained within the skin suggesting an external application and diffusion mechanism through the dermal layers.”
“Less common types of fluorescence emit in the red-pink (hot pink) region and are found primarily on the hands, fingers, palms and neck region of abductees. These abductees report handling and cuddling of infant alien/human hybrid creatures. This is also subdermal.
The photo on the top (wrist) is that of a three-year-old. Note the orange-pink color of the child’s wrist. This close up reveals the overall shape of the mark and it appears to depict an unusual symbol. The child’s family has a history of abduction experiences and one of the child’s parents remembered an encounter the previous night. This is a potentially disturbing reminder of how young humans are when their first interaction with these Beings occurs.
Citing Lorgen’s 2003 article: “Less common fluorescence is white, light blue and lavender. White has been found in the mouth and oral mucous membranes and tongue. Lavender fluorescence has been found on the forearm.”
Over the past 10 years, it appears, at least from the number of images available on Internet research sites, that the color blue may have increased in prevalence. This could also be due to the fact that more abduction experiencers are taking a proactive role in their own investigations and are simply finding more marks and substances on their bodies that fluoresce under ultraviolet light. In any case, the blue-white spectrum appears to be observed more today than it was 10 years ago.
Other examples are included below:These marks were discovered on the knee of an abductee immediately after an abduction encounter. It is an unknown substance that fluoresced bright white/blue under UV illumination. The abductee had partial conscious recall after the event. [Image - Knee]The abductee also had three slender finger “prints,” i.e., what appeared to be finger markings, that fluoresced under UV lighting, but unfortunately, the photo wasn’t clear enough to show the detail so it has been omitted. They were identical in appearance as the marks on the knee but thinner.The above photo depicts a possible alien handprint on the right palm and fingers of a male abductee. These markings are composed of an as yet unknown substance which fluoresces bright blue under UV illumination, and is invisible under normal room light. A similar substance was also on the left thigh of the same abductee after the same encounter. [Image – twocircular marks]
This photo below was taken of an abductee’s bedroom rug. It depicts an unknown substance on the carpet near the abductee’s bed and appeared immediately after an abduction encounter. The area is about 10 inches wide and is shaped similar to a dumbbell. It is invisible under normal light, but fluoresces blue under UV illumination. Three female alien Beings were observed to be standing near where this stain was discovered. They were not the ‘typical’ Greys that are often reported, but rather similar appearing to the aliens in blue coveralls depicted in the movie Communion, but more human looking; which leads us to suspect they may have been a hybrid version of the Communion Beings. The photograph below shows a similar blue substance on the hand and thumb of an abductee. As is the case with the other substances, it is not visible under normal lighting, but fluoresces blue under UV illumination.[Image – Hand-Thumb]

From the onset of birth defects caused by untested prescription drugs on pregnant women to GMO’s unleashed upon the public from consumption of foods that have caused frightening mutations when fed to lab rats, the long term effect of commercially sanctioned industrial experimentation goes on. Generations of Americans and other nationalities exposed to such tampering with the food supply will be felt in the years to come. When more than 50% of the US population alone is on some form of prescription drug that has inherent side effects the future can be measured in eventual consequences for future generations.
It’s in the water!
There are thousands of pollutants that have been found in varying degrees in the public water supply as industrial chemicals, psychiatric drugs, and insecticides. When these contaminants that cannot be filtered by conventional purification methods, come together, the effects can be devastating on, not only a physiological and psychological level, but even on a genetic scale. The cumulative effect over the years and decades that follow are both unpredictable and dangerous. Mankind will doubtlessly be pushed into a strange reality of undiagnosed conditions that are a direct result of influences little understood from a multiplicity of environmental causes that were neither natural nor foreseeable except by the unscrupulous, who profited by suppressing negative findings. The threat of cigarettes would have a devastating impact upon future generations aided by the denial of the producers of the product.
Radioactive half lifes
From the far reaching implications of the Fukushima incident whose impact can only be guessed at as the radioactivity contaminates the ocean floor, fish that are consumed, and the immediate area occupied by residents to other environmental time bombs that are ticking, mankind becomes the unwitting participant in a worldwide experiment of irresponsible planning and cover-ups. Is it the destiny of the human body to be at the mercy of industrial accidents, adulterants in the food supply, medications, and more causes that may go undetected?
Long term psychological impact
Imagine the state of mind of the masses ravaged by the accumulation of psychoactive drugs in the water supply as public use becomes more and more tainted in doses that are not just measured in parts per million anymore! We know just from the exposure of selected Navy personnel during World War II to nerve gas experiments that subsequent generations of their children experienced disproportionate incidences of miscarriages, cancers, and other oncological disorders that could not have been anticipated at the time. The human species is fast becoming a guinea pig to the ongoing experimentation of social development. Man unwittingly adversely affects his own development in reaction to many different levels of exposure intended and unanticipated by the scientific community.
The ominous factor
Why have experiments been conducted by shadowy government agencies upon an unwitting public such as military aircraft used to release airborne pathogens to aerosol forms of LSD? Are these the actions of leadership that demonstrate a willingness to solve the problems of exposure upon human beings? Yet, more and more a long history of secret experiments and projects have been exposed that will have lasting effects even on a hereditary level that can be measured over generations. Man will become a weakened, diseased, and mentally challenged product of poor political leadership and ruthless corporate profiteering.
Is there any credence to the worst case scenario of the accidental release of super viruses intended for either germ warfare or for the massive exterminations of humans considered to be surplus population that do not fit into the Agenda 21 agenda? Are plans for United Nation depopulation schemes to supposedly keep unsupportable levels of the human population from exceeding agricultural and resource levels of the world the inevitable legacy of a ruthless human species that will either orchestrate its own demise or fall victim to a global form of global fascism that will revert our world into a new era of the “Dark Ages” brought about by the megalomania of an elite class?
When politics go uncontrolled
You see humankind is very capable of arriving at a much reviled consequence of actions that could have a perverse evolutionary impact never intended by nature, God, or the unfettered progression of existence. It seems that we are destined as a species to forever alter our very own outcome which may very well be destructive rather than constructive. Has it been as a design of our own self destructive genetic code already installed within us by unknown processes, or are we, by virtue of victimization, simply on the road to self-extermination on so many different levels that we are incapable of controlling these scenarios? Only time will tell. However, one thing seems assured. Man seems totally incapable of governing himself without repeating the horrid and forgotten lessons of history!

Have you imagined how it feels like to go over state secrets from a nation that no longer exists? You are likely to experience no repercussions, zero blowback, no fear, and zero security oaths to fudge. This is what Giuliano Marinkovich has been doing for nearly 20 years, not only in his native Croatia’s capitol but also in six other independent states that once comprised Yugoslavia. Apparently, he is now into something that would give him leads.
Some of them involve former Yugoslavian President Josip Tito, a UFO above Belgrade, dead pilots, and crashed MiGs.
If Marinkovich publishes his research in the West, he will likely to invite more eyes on him with that teaser. Currently, he is releasing it out in the Balkans. Just last month Marinkovich took onto Croatian State Radio 2 for the Pan Adria Incident, which features testimonies from a retired civilian pilot, former air traffic control chief, and ex-flight engineer. He will follow it up in the television with Yugoslav Air Force vs. UFOs, scheduled to air in September.
Giuliano Marinkovic
Marinkovich was a shift commander for signals intelligence division of Croatian army during the country’s war for independence in 1991-1995. One of his duties was to monitor communications among the United Nations Protection Force (UNPROFOR), which is the international peacekeepers implementing a neutral zone between warring powers that is created in order to diminish the danger of conflict. UNPROFOR has UFO reports and his unit tracked the activity over zones-of-separation airspace. His unit collected the reports and delivered them to headquarters as part of their daily reports. However, nobody did any follow ups, according to Marinkovich. His curiosity led him to an incident on August 16, 1977 involving a Pan Adria airliner. On evening of that day, Fokker-227 crew reported an intensive red light that paced them shortly before approaching to Belgrade. The radar indicated that the UFO parked above the airport and remained there for so long. The chief controller was called for an emergency duty. Later that day, President Tito was scheduled to leave the airport for Moscow.
The Fokker pilot continued to Titograd and when the plane got airborne, the mysterious object followed. Another Fokker was instructed by the traffic controller to approach the UFO. The unknown flying object immediately accelerated toward the second Fokker, which made a maneuver to prevent a collision. The object stopped then flew back to Belgrade. According to Marinkovich, a military base nearby joined the fray and sent MiGs with orders to open fire.
Marinkovich writes that they have confirmation from several witnesses about the fate of the MiGs. Marinkovich reveals that the MiGs had crashed and the pilots had died. He adds that many witnesses are hesitant to come out about their UFO knowledge because it could ruin their credibility. He also notes that people find it easier to share their knowledge after many years. Marinkonvic further says that they are safe to come out today as the nation where they previously served doesn’t exist anymore.
The Antikythera mechanism is an ancient analog computer designed to predict astronomical positions and eclipses. It was recovered in 1900–01 from the Antikythera wreck, a shipwreck off the Greek island of Antikythera. The computer’s construction has been attributed to the Greeks and dated to the early 1st century BC. Technological artifacts approaching its complexity and workmanship did not appear again until the 14th century, when mechanical astronomical clocks began to be built in Western Europe.
The mechanism was housed in a wooden box about 340 × 180 × 90 mm in size and comprised 30 bronze gears (although more could have been lost). The largest gear, clearly visible in fragment A, was about 140 mm in diameter and had 223 teeth. The mechanism’s remains were found as 82 separate fragments of which only seven contain any gears or significant inscriptions.
Today, the fragments of the Antikythera mechanism are kept at the National Archaeological Museum of Athens.
Yesterday I saw on VTM News a news report about a six-fingered Brazilian family afflicted with a genetic condition, known as polydactyly. This reminded me of the 1995 alien autopsy film.

De Amerikaanse luchtvaartautoriteiten melden dat er geen ongebruikelijke activiteit is waargenomen, waardoor de lichten voorlopig in geheimzinnigheid gehuld blijven.
De ruimtetelescoop Hubble heeft een wel heel bijzondere foto gemaakt. De sterrenkijker maakte een panorama dat het universum op zijn kleurrijkst toont. Sterrenstelsels van vijf tot tien miljard jaar oud werden vastgelegd op de gevoelige plaat.
Ruimtevaartorganisatie NASA legde voor de eerste keer op een panorama ultraviolet licht vast, dat niet zichtbaar is voor de mens. Het ziet er op de foto uit als een lichtblauw schijnsel dat zich rondom roterende sterrenstelsels begeeft.
Het panorama is een compositie van meer dan achthonderd foto's van de laatste elf jaar. Op het kiekje zijn ongeveer tienduizend sterrenstelsels te bewonderen.
Steeds meer willen we weten hoe het écht voelt om op een andere planeet te staan. Oppervlaktefoto's van Mars en de maan bevredigen onze nieuwsgierigheid niet meer. Voor wie zich afvraagt hoe de atmosfeer van een andere wereld ruikt, hebben NASA-wetenschappers de geur van Titan nagemaakt, de maan van Saturnus. Dat schrijft wetenschapssite MNN.
'Essence of Titan' zou een prachtige naam kunnen zijn voor een nieuw parfum, maar in werkelijkheid is het aroma van Titan niet erg aantrekkelijk. Volgens de onderzoekers ruikt de atmosfeer op de maan vooral naar benzine.
Aanlokkelijk klinkt dat niet. Toch is de geur beter dan de wetenschappers verwachtten op basis van de samenstelling van Titans atmosfeer. Die bestaat namelijk uit stikstof en methaan - een van de primaire gassen die ontsnappen wanneer we een wind laten.
Gele waas Hoe kwamen de onderzoekers dan tot die benzinegeur? Eerst becijferden ze aan de hand van spectromatische gegevens, gegevens over de chemische samenstelling van een object, hoe ze interplanetaire geuren op Aarde kunnen namaken. Daarna gingen ze aan de slag met informatie die verzameld werd door de ruimtesonde Cassini. In hun lab begonnen ze gassen en koolwaterstoffen te mengen en aan te passen, waarna ze het mengsel vergeleken met de beschikbare informatie.
Titans unieke geur kon volgens de NASA-wetenschappers niet bekomen worden met enkel stikstof en methaan. Daarom voegden ze meer ingrediënten toe, waarbij vooral benzeen. Benzeen is een natuurlijk bestanddeel van benzine. Het is gelig van kleur, zoals de gele waas van Titans smog.
Verbrand buskruit De geur leunt al dicht aan bij de unieke signatuur van Titan die werd geregistreerd door Cassini, maar is nog niet perfect. De onderzoekers gaan dus verder tot ze het brouwsel geperfectioneerd hebben. Daar willen ze met dezelfde methode ook het aroma van andere werelden namaken.
Titan is een van de amper vier buitenaardse werelden waarvan we oppervlaktefoto's hebben. De andere drie zijn Mars, Venus en onze eigen maan. Volgens astronauten van de Apollo ruikt de maan naar verbrand buskruit.

Er is momenteel veel te doen rond een vreemde structuur die op enkele kilometers voor de kust van Malibu in Californië op de zeebodem is gevonden. Het ovaalvormige object lijkt te worden ondersteund door een soort pilaren die een ingang vormen naar een donkere ruimte.

Presentator Jimmy Church zei dat één van zijn luisteraars hem afgelopen maand op het fenomeen had gewezen. “Mijn eerste indruk was dat het Grieks, kunstmatig en niet natuurlijk was,” zei Church. “Van bovenaf bekeken heeft het object een bijna perfecte ovale vorm. Het valt op omdat het een soort dak lijkt te hebben.”
Is een buitenaardse UFO-basis de enige realistische verklaring voor deze ‘anomalie’? Geoloog David Schwartz van de Amerikaanse geologische dienst USGS vond de structuur niet zo bijzonder: “Ik denk dat het object natuurlijk is en deel uitmaakt van het continentaal plat. Toen het zeeniveau lager was is dit gebied mogelijk blootgesteld aan erosie. Daarnaast worden er veel aardbevingen waargenomen in deze omgeving. Het enige wat ik zie is variatie in de kustmorfologie.”
De beelden van het object voor de kust van Malibu zijn ook bekeken door de onafhankelijke egyptoloog John Anthony West, die een Emmy Award won voor zijn documentaire ‘Mystery of the Sphinx’, waarin hij samen met geoloog Robert Schoch laat zien dat de Sfinx van Gizeh duizenden jaren ouder is dan gedacht.
“Aangezien het object 600 meter onder water ligt is het volgens mij niet mogelijk dat het door mensen is gemaakt,” zei West. “Ik heb genoeg ervaring opgedaan om onderscheid te kunnen maken tussen geologische formaties en door mensen gemaakte bouwwerken.”
West is geneigd voor de geologische verklaring te kiezen. “De pilaren zijn zo te zien ongelijk verdeeld en meer naar rechts zie je pilaren die zich nog aan het vormen zijn,” ging hij verder. “Ik ben ervan overtuigd dat UFO’s echt zijn, er is gewoon te veel bewijs. Maar verder weten we niets. We weten niet wie ze zijn, waarom ze hier zijn of hoeveel onze overheden ervan weten.”
Ook voormalig FBI-agent Ben Hansen deed een duit in het zakje. “Google krijgt de gegevens van verschillende bronnen, waaronder de marine, de meteorologische dienst NOAA, NASA en andere agentschappen,” zei hij. “Omdat ze vaak gebruikmaken van verschillen technologieën sluit de informatie niet altijd goed aan. Google vertrouwt in die gevallen op programma’s die 3D-omgevingen kunnen genereren. De pilaren lijken het resultaat te zijn van bewerkte beelden die aan elkaar zijn geplakt.”
Er gaan dus verschillende theorieën rond over de anomalie van Malibu. Is het een onderwaterbasis of een geologische formatie? Volgens West kan het een ingang zijn, op dezelfde manier dat water een grot onder het oppervlak kan vormen.
“Tenzij je er met een camera naartoe gaat, weet je niet waar de ingang voor dient,” zei West. “Ik denk alleen dat je niet ver zult komen als je naar binnen gaat. Weinig kans dat ze er de verloren schatten van Atlantis gaan vinden.”

Witness said: I was driving with my girlfriend to her house in r.s.m. I saw a big glowing light over a hilltop in the distance ahead of us. Brighter than any light possible. We drove around the hill to get a closer look. It seemed to have moved further out in the distance. We pulled over next to the road where we saw 5 other people watching the same thing. (As we were standing there people kept driving up to see the same thing). There seemed to be a little bit of a green light coming of the top of it. It seemed to be saucer shaped with antenna or something coming off the top to emit the green light. When we pulled up a second one appeared a little higher just to the left of it. The UFOs were glowing extremely bright and slowly pulsating in brightness. We watched for about 20 minutes as both would randomly go dark and reappear and pulsate. Decided to give up and drive home after both went dark and were no longer visible. As we got to my house atop a big hill we looked out in the distance towards the beach and could see 2 extremely large mother ships. It couldn’t have been anything else because they had very bright white lights on the side of them in a row. One had 5 white lights and a little green one on the end just below the far right white light. The spot where we saw the UFOs was just over the hill in the Cleveland national forest area just east of Rancho Santa Margarita, California. Can pinpoint on map if needed to.

Witness said: Hi, can you UFO enthusiasts please take a look at this please. I am from the UK travelling around NZ staying on a rural property in Eyrewell Forest, Waimakariri. At around 16:45 today my hostess spotted this object in the sky, at first i thought it was just the first star of tonights sky but it was way too early. After about five minutes i decided to grab my camera from the house to get a video and photos. When i zoomed in on the object it looked different, a vertical poll in the sky omitting a bright light from the center, but to the naked eye could have passed for a star but it was moving (as in much faster than a star would of course). As you can hear in the video i stepped to the side to get a shot through the trees, this was simply to (hopefully) make it easy for debunkers to see the video is genuine. Is there a explanation? was the picture i got the result of some king of light distortion? A typical glitch of a cheap camera? The model of camera is ‘CANON digital IXUS 70′ it has 7.1 mega pixels, an on the projection shell of the lens it has 5.8-17.4mm 1:2.8- 4.9, just in case it makes a difference. On March 30, 2000, the witnesses were travelling along the Klondike Highway from Whitehorse to the Village of Pelly Crossing, Yukon. The sky was clear with a glow of predawn blue. They were nearing the end of Little Fox Lake and came around a sharp right-hand bend near the base of a mountain. Upon coming out from the bend they could not believe their eyes. The witnesses saw a 30 to 40ft diameter saucer, hovering about 200 ft off the ground. It was described as a classic disc shape with a dome on top. The dome had two curved windows from which a blue light was shining. The car headlights dimmed and their tape deck stopped playing. Their watches stopped functioning:
UFO makes woman leery of night travel

For Leah Isaac, a strange encounter with the third kind on March 30 made a believer out of the former skeptic. The episode, meanwhile, is attracting the interest of the American media.
“I can’t even travel at night anymore,” the Pelly Crossing resident told the Star in Whitehorse this morning.
Shortly after 5 a.m. on the day in question, Isaac was travelling to Pelly from Whitehorse along the North Klondike Highway with a friend when they came around a corner at Little Fox Lake to a sight neither had seen before.
About 15 to 22 metres (50 to 75 feet) away was a disc-shaped aircraft hovering about 60 metres (200 ft.) off the ground.
“It was silver and transparent,” she noted. “It was like a mirror. It was almost like you could see right through the craft.
“It’s so hard to explain because you never see that kind of material. It’s almost like you can see right through it.”
Inside the craft appeared a blue, turquoise colour, but she did not see a pilot nor anyone in the craft which she noted was “so advanced.
“I was really scared, but I was really shocked when I’ve seen it,” Isaac said. “We were both shaking.”
Isaac’s analog watch stopped, while another friend’s digital watch went into chrono mode, the truck’s tape deck stopped and the lights on her vehicle dimmed.
“Everything went dead,” she said.
Isaac reported the craft seemed to be somewhat confused at their presence. After about five seconds, it shot in front of their vehicle and stopped instantly on the left side of the road.
Isaac reported that she had never seen anything move so fast, and it made no noise.
“I think if it wanted to hurt us, it probably would’ve,” she said.
As Isaac kept driving through the experience, her eyes were peeled on the site, while her friends told her to “floor it.”
They took off after the craft disappeared and didn’t look back for fear that it would follow them. It was about five minutes before the watches began working again and 10 minutes before the tape player resumed working.
“I was driving really fast, as fast as I ever drove, and then when we stopped somewhere, we were just shaking.”
When they got to Pelly, they began laughing about the event and their reactions to it.
“I didn’t even watch where I was driving,” she said. “It’s just funny now that you think about it.”
Although Isaac and her friend had initially agreed not to tell anyone, before they got into Pelly, they changed their minds.
When Isaac arrived at her mother’s house in Pelly, she immediately drew a picture of the craft, wrote about it and began telling her mother the story.
“She was really excited, too.”
Isaac also contacted other friends and family that day to tell them about her experience. While some say she “has made up a good story,” others believe her. There have been numerous sightings around Fox Lake over the years.
“It’s reality. I’m just telling people what I’d seen.”
In the three weeks since the experience, she has spoken with the media, including a Los Angeles radio station, in hopes that others will come out with their own stories.
Although she’s still scared to drive alone at night, it has tweaked her curiosity and changed the way she views things.
“I think people should be aware of what’s going on in the Yukon,” she said. “There’s more sightings now than ever.”
Before the experience, she was skeptical of other life in the universe, but now she is curious to know what’s out there and has considered going back to the site early in the morning to see if she can find out more. She’s curious as to why the ship was lingering near telephone poles.

There have been many close encounters with UFOs in the Yukon but it is not often that we get a report like this so soon after it occurs. The witnesses were interviewed about 15 hours after their experience. They were still in a state of shock, coherent, and sincere. For those who doubt accounts like this, I only wish they could hear the witnesses first hand. Their emotional state and what they had to say has left a deep impression on me. Many thanks to FOX4 for notifying us of this sighting, conducting the initial interview and for obtaining the witness drawing. Since this article has been published one of the witnesses has informed us that she does not mind having her identity disclosed. “I know what I saw” Leah Isaac states, “and I was a skeptic before!”
The Account:
Leah Isaac, a friend of hers, and a young boy (who was asleep) were travelling northbound along the Klondike Highway from Whitehorse to the Village of Pelly Crossing, Yukon. The sky was clear with a glow of predawn blue. They were nearing the end of Little Fox Lake and came around a sharp right-hand bend near the base of a mountain. Upon coming out from the bend they could not believe their eyes! To the right and about 300 ft (90 meters) away was a 30 to 40ft (9 to12 meters) diameter saucer, hovering about 200 ft (60 meters) off the ground! They observed it to be stationary for 4 to 5 seconds as they were travelling along the highway and then it shot across horizontally in front of their vehicle at an “incredible speed” and stopped instantly on the left side of the road. “Nothing can move that fast”, “in the blink of an eye” the witnesses described. It remained motionless for only another split second and shot off even faster in a different direction (basically performing a 90-degree turn and shooting off behind them). One witness thought it went right into the side of a mountain while the other thought it followed the mountainous skyline. “Come on, floor it, floor it!” shouted the friend to Leah. They continued northbound fleeing from the location and eventually pulled over about 20 minutes later. They were both visibly shaking. “We were more scared than excited, I think if it wasn’t so close it would not have been so frightening”, “It’s like we caught it by surprise when we came around the corner”, “it was so advanced”, “I’ll never be the same” were some of the comments by the witnesses.
The witnesses got a good look at the saucer. It was a classic disc shape with a dome on top. The dome had two curved windows or lights from which a beautiful ocean blue or aqua colored light was shining. The surface of the craft was difficult to describe. Some of the words the witnesses used were “mirror, silver, translucent, shiny, glassy, reflecting the color of the sky”. It was as though the UFO was trying to “camouflage against the background sky color”. “Had it been pitch black out I don’t think we would have seen the body of the craft, just the windows or lights” Leah remarked.
As the UFO streaked in front of their vehicle, the car headlights dimmed and their tape deck stopped playing. They both wanted to check the time of their sighting. However, Leah’s battery-operated analog watch stopped (at 5:00am) and the man’s digital watch went blank, and then got stuck in “chrono mode” and wouldn’t reset. A few miles down the road Leah tapped the face of her watch and it started working again. The man fiddled around pushing buttons on his digital watch and it started working as well, the time indicated was 5:12 am. They checked the tape deck and by all indications, John Fogerty should have been playing away. The tape hadn’t run out, the volume was on, and the lights on the cassette window indicated that the power was on. Other than the initial power drain, no additional problems were noted with the truck. The man figured that they managed to get the tape deck and watches functioning properly after they traveled a “couple of miles” past the UFO sighting location. The woman figured that about 5 minutes had elapsed when they managed to get their watches functioning and about 10 minutes until the tape deck started to work. Although the witnesses were travelling in a vehicle, no noise was heard emanating from the UFO.
Updated Information:
Leah Isaac was interviewed in Whitehorse and was asked to use reference objects (buildings around her) to help provide estimates of the closest approach and size of the UFO. These distances were measured and the following results were determined: At their closest approach the UFO was about 27 metres (90 feet) away and about 10 metres (34 feet) in diameter. The geometry gives a viewing angle of about 22 degrees of an arc.
Further investigation into this case is described in the IUR Journal (International UFO Reporter) Summer 2000 issue Vol. 25. No. 2. by Mark Rodeghier* and Martin Jasek.
*Mark Rodeghier is the scientific director of the Center for UFO Studies in Chicago. He has dedicated his UFO studies to cases where there had been interference with the vehicle’s electronics, such as this one that occurred at Little Fox Lake. To date he has catalogued some 500 such cases. He has the following to add regarding this case:
“I am definitely interested in more information on this report, as much as possible, both because it is a recent case and because very few vehicle interference reports have been studied in depth before. This is because they have been so infrequent–only somewhat over 500 have occurred worldwide since 1947–so any one investigator may only see one or two reports in a lifetime of UFO investigations. I have personally investigated only one report, although I have spoken with the witnesses in about a dozen other cases.
I can tell you that this case fits a pattern I first discerned about 20 years ago. That is, in most vehicle interference reports, the UFO is disk-shaped, about 30 feet in size, and comes quite close to the witness. It often moves in front of the vehicle, as it did at Little Fox Lake. Most cases also occur in isolated locations. The color blue is quiet common. It’s amazing to me to see this pattern repeating here in the year 2000.”
