Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

UFOs seen by multiple witnesses over North Carolina beaches (Photos)
Multiple witnesses reported glowing orbs of lights in the night skies over North Carolina beaches this weekend. The UFO sightings, along with a couple pictures of the objects, were submitted to WWAY out of Wilmington, NC, who reported on the unusual objects.
Woozy Dell told WWAY that she spotted the lights Saturday night over Ocean Isle beach, where she is vacationing. “I thought that’s a strange light. Maybe it’s a helicopter light, and I was watching them go, and they sorta did like a half circle,” Dell said. She continued, “And then I saw another one come, and then I thought this is bizarre, and it got a little interesting.”

Then more lights began to appear. Dell says, “So I saw two, and then I started seeing three, and then I started seeing four, and then I started counting them, because I thought, ‘My gosh. What is this?”
She described the orbs as “orangeish-red, but when it went back around it was white.”

The next day, Dell asked around to see if anyone else had seen the lights, and she says at least one person told her they had.
WWAY says they also received an email from another person who claims to have seen UFOs on Saturday at nearby Wrightsville Beach. This person said they were with a friend. In the email, the witness describes seeing similar strange lights at around 4 a.m. They watched the objects for around three hours. The witness says they thought the lights were planets at first, but then they began making “erratic motions.”

Dell says of her sighting, “It is certainly an unidentified object, and it was in the sky, and then went away, and it was, the lights, were so unusual that it was something you don’t forget.”
She also hopes to see the objects again. “I have to admit,” Dell laughed, “I did go out the next night looking. And tonight looks like a clear night, so…”
The latest oddity spotted by bloggers who follow the images coming from Mars rover Curiosity doesn’t take a lot of imagination to see. It really looks like a thigh bone. Well, some kind of bone.
According to UFO Blogger, the rover captured the image on Aug. 14. It’s the latest in a string of fossilized animals and other unexplained phenomena that bloggers have reported.
These sightings include an iguana, a cat, a dinosaur spine, two dinosaurs, a mysterious light, a toy boat, a half-human and half-goat face and a rock that popped up from one image to the next when the rover wasn’t on the move (see all the photos above). NASA itself was initially puzzled by that one but determined the rock changed position when the rover turned in place and pushed the rock.
Curiosity has been on Mars since Aug. 6, 2012. It completed its first Martian year — 687 Earth days — on June 24.

A blogger who maintains the site “Mars Anomalies, UFO Sightings and More” pointed out the feline shape in a NASA Mars rover photo.
A team of scientists has discovered living microbes in a subglacial lake below Antarctica.
Researchers with the Whillans Ice Stream Subglacial Access Research Drilling (WISSARD) project successfully drilled through the Antarctic ice reaching Lake Whillans in January 2013. After collecting both water and sediment cores, the team returned to the United States to test the samples. Researchers were surprised and thrilled to discover that, not only are microbes alive in the lake, but it is also an active ecosystem.

Researchers conclude that Lake Whillans is home to nearly 4,000 species of single-celled organisms.
This isn’t the first time scientists have recovered microbes from such an extreme environment. Researchers discovered 100,000-year-old microbes in the sediment beneath another subglacial Antarctic lake, Lake Hodgson, in September 2013. Another Antarctic lake, Lake Vida, was found to have “a diverse and thriving community of microbes” in November 2012. But the WISSARD team asserts that its microbes are the first organisms ever retrieved from a subglacial Antarctic lake because previous studies didn’t take enough precautions to eliminate the possibility of contamination.
Astrobiologists are very interested in life like these microbes that are able to live and thrive in extreme conditions. As New Scientist explains, “The finding is good news for astrobiologists hoping to discover life elsewhere in the solar system: in the ocean beneath the frozen surface of Jupiter’s moon Europa, for instance, or clinging on under the Martian polar ice caps.”
The team’s research is published in the journal Nature.

Tiwanaku (Spanish: Tiahuanaco and Tiahuanacu) is an important Pre-Columbianarchaeological site in western Bolivia, South America. Pumapunku also called “Puma Pumku” or “Puma Puncu”, is part of a large temple complex or monument group that is part of the Tiwanaku. Tiahuanaco is an example of engineering so monumental that it dwarfs even the work of the Aztecs. Stone blocks on the site weigh many tons. They bear no chisel marks, so the means by which they were shaped remains a mystery.The stone itself came from two different quarries. One supplied sandstone and was situated 10 miles away. It shows signs of having produced blocks weighing up to 400 tons. The other supplied andesite and was located 50 miles away, raising the question of how the enormous blocks were transported in an age before the horse wasdomesticated in South America. Close examination of the structures shows an unusual technique behind their building. The stone blocks were notched, then fitted together so that they interlocked in three dimensions. The result was buildings strong enough to withstand earthquakes.

Sacsayhuamán (also known as Sacsahuaman) is a walled complex near the old city of Cusco, at an altitude of 3,701 m. or 12,000 feet. The site is part of the City of Cuzco, which was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1983.

They are three parallel walls built in different levels with lime-stones of enormous sizes. Zigzagging walls are made of boulders used for the first or lower levels are the biggest; there is one that is 8.5 m high (28 ft.) and weights about 140 metric tons. Those boulders classify the walls as being of cyclopean or megalithic architecture. There are no other walls like these. They are different from Stonehenge, different from the Pyramids of the Egyptians and the Maya, different from any of the other ancient monolithic stone-works. Scientists are not certain how these huge stones were transported and processed to fit so perfectly that no blade of grass or steel can slide between them. There is no mortar. The stones often join in complex and irregular surfaces that would appear to be a nightmare for the stonemason. [subject related:
Stonehenge is a megalithic monument on the Salisbury Plain in Southern England, composed mainly of thirty upright stones (sarsens, each over ten feet tall and weighing 26 tons), aligned in a circle, with thirty lintels (6 tons each) perched horizontally atop the sarsens in a continuous circle. There is also an inner circle composed of similar stones, also constructed in post-and-lintel fashion.
Stonehenge is angled such that on the equinoxes and the solstices, the sun rising over the horizon appears to be perfectly placed between gaps in the megaliths. This is doubtless not an accident, and probably contributed to the stories of its mysterious origins.
Gerald Hawkins, a Professor of Astronomy, concluded that Stonehenge was a sophisticated astronomical observatory designed to predict eclipses (Stonehenge Decoded). The positioning of the stones provides a wealth of information, as does the choice of the site itself. If you can see the alignment, general relationship, and the use of these stones then you will know the reason for the construction. The author, and other astronomers, discovered the 56-year cycle of eclipses by decoding Stonehenge! The movement of stones once each year from an initial fixed position allows to predict accurately every important lunar event for hundreds of years. This computer would need resetting about once every 300 years by advancing the stones by one space. Mankind generally used the cycle of the moon as a unit of timekeeping.
One of the strangest mysteries in archaeology was discovered in the Diquis Delta of Costa Rica. Since the 1930s, hundreds of stone balls have been documented, ranging in size from a few centimetres to over two meters in diameter. Some weigh 16 tons. Almost all of them are made of granodiorite, a hard, igneous stone. These objects are monolithic sculptures made by human hands.

The Temple of Jupiter is one of the most impressive Temples in Baalbeck. It measures 88×48 meters and stands on a podium 13 meters above the surrounding terrain and 7 meters above the courtyard. It is reached by a monumental stairway. One of the most amazing engineering achievements is the Podium which was built with some of the largest stone blocks ever hewn. On the west side of the podium is the “Trilithon”, a celebrated group of three enormous stones weighing about 800 tons each.
Some archaeologists might well wish that Baalbek had been buried forever. For it is here that we find the largest dressed stone block in the world – the infamous Stone of the South, lying in its quarry just ten minutes walk from the temple acropolis. This huge stone weighs approximately 1,000 tons – almost as heavy as three Boeing 747 aircraft.

The Great Pyramid of Giza (also called the Khufu’s Pyramid, Pyramid of Khufu, and Pyramid of Cheops) is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza Necropolis bordering what is now Cairo, Egypt, and is the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World that survives substantially intact. It is believed the pyramid was built as a tomb for Fourth dynasty Egyptian King Khufu (Cheops in Greek) and constructed over a 20 year period concluding around 2560 BC. The Great Pyramid was the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years.
Originally the Great Pyramid was covered by casing stones that formed a smooth outer surface, and what is seen today is the underlying core structure. Some of the casing stones that once covered the structure can still be seen around the base. There have been varying scientific and alternative theories regarding the Great Pyramid’s construction techniques. Most accepted construction theories are based on the idea that it was built by moving huge stones from a quarry and dragging and lifting them into place.
The Shroud of Turin is reputedly Christ’s burial cloth. It has been a religious relic since the Middle Ages. To believers it was divine proof the Christ was resurrected from the grave, to doubters it was evidence of human gullibility and one of the greatest hoaxes in the history of art. No one has been able to prove that it is the burial cloth of Jesus of Nazareth, but its haunting image of a man’s wounded body is proof enough for true believers.
The Shroud of Turin, as seen by the naked eye, is a negative image of a man with his hands folded. The linen is 14 feet, 3 inches long and 3 feet, 7 inches wide. The shroud bears the image of a man with wounds similar to those suffered by Jesus.
One theory is simply that the Shroud is a painting . It has been proposed that it was painted using iron oxide in an animal protein binder. The STURP scientists have concluded from their studies that no paints, pigments, dyes or stains have been found to make up the visible image. Could the image have been produced by a burst of radiation (heat or light) acting over short period of time which would have scorched the cloth? Scientists have not been able to duplicate the characteristics of the Shroud using this method just like the painting hypothesis. Also the color and ultraviolet characteristics of the Shroud body image and a scorch are different. The shroud body image does not fluoresce under UV light but scorches like the burns from 1532 do fluoresce under UV light. Thus many scientists rule out the radiation theory.
In the 1930?s, in a small rural village 100 miles southwest of Chihuahua, Mexico, at the back of a mine tunnel, two mysterious remains were found: a complete human skeleton and a smaller, malformed skeleton. In late February of 1999, Lloyd Pye was first shown the Starchild skull by its owners. Nameless then, it was a highly anomalous skull.

The long-standing Star Being legends of Central and South America provide a plausible mechanism for how a highly abnormal skull (relative to humans) might have been biologically created rather than genetically or congenitally malformed, or physically manipulated by deliberate deformation (binding). Such immense deformation across the entire occipital (rear) and parietal (upper side) areas of the skull could not result from binding without deformation being visible in the frontal area, which is not evident. Birth defects across the entire occipital and parietal areas, while not impossible, seem highly unlikely because of the remarkable symmetry exhibited in all areas of the skull, including those effected by the deformations. The terrain of the bone in the eye sockets contains incredibly subtle indentations and ridges that are perfectly symmetrical in both sockets, which simply have to have been formed by genetic directions rather than by deformations.

“This device is just extraordinary, the only thing of its kind,” says Mike Edmunds (Cardiff University, Wales) one of the scientists investigating this amazing artefact.“The design is beautiful. The astronomy is exactly right. The way the mechanics are designed just makes your jaw drop.”
Nothing like this instrument is preserved elsewhere. Nothing comparable to it is known. from any ancient scientific text or literary allusion. On the contrary, from all that we know of science and technology in the Hellenistic Age we should have felt that such a device could not exist. Some historians have suggested that the Greeks were not interested in experiment because of a contempt-perhaps induced by the existence of the institution of slavery-for manual labor. On the other hand it has long been recognized that in abstract mathematics and in mathematical astronomy they were no beginners but rather “fellows of another college” who reached great heights of sophistication. Many of the Greek scientific devices known to us from written descriptions show much mathematical ingenuity, but in all cases the purely mechanical part of the design seems relatively crude. Gearing was clearly known to the Greeks, but it was used only in relatively simple applications. They employed pairs of gears to change angular speed or mechanical ad- vantage, or to apply power through a right angle, as in the water-driven mill.

As a young professor at MIT in the 1920s, Vannevar Bush (1890-1974) did seminal work on analog computing and was a cofounder of Raytheon, whose initial success was based on long-lasting radio tubes. But he is best known for his role in Washington during World War II: as President Roosevelt's advisor, he organized the Manhattan Project and oversaw the work of 6,000 civilian scientists designing new weapons. His 1945 report "Science -- The Endless Frontier" spurred the creation of a system of public support for university research that endures to this day.Although he helped to give rise to the military-industrial complex, Bush was a skeptical observer of the interplay between science and politics. He warned against the dangers of an arms race and led a failed effort to halt testing of the hydrogen bomb. This balanced and gracefully written biography brings to life an American original and his times.
Review of Endless Frontier: Vannevar Bush, Engineer of the American Century by G. Pascal Zachary
The End of the Frontier: Vannevar Bush & Harry S. Truman
I have made the case elsewhere (Oh Canada! Wilbert Smith & The UFOs) that Vannevar Bush was an extremely unlikely choice to be tapped by President Truman for anything to do with a crashed flying saucer, whether it was the supposed MJ-12 group or the committee referred to by Smith in his famous (or, in my opinion, infamous) "Top Secret" memo which , among other things, detailed his conversation with American scientist Dr. Robert Sarbacher.
Why? Because, to put it in the vernacular, the two were on the "outs" - Bush was Rossevelt's man. With the ascension of Truman to the Presidency, Bush's spot at the top of the scientific establishment in Washington was effectively finished.
In my MJ-12 Mea Culpa, I raised four points for Stan Friedman to answer with respect to MJ-12, one of which was the unlikelihood that Bush would be tapped by Truman for any such project. To his credit, Stan responded to this particular point by sending me the relevant excerpt from Bush's memorandum of his meeting with Truman and Secretary of Defence James Forrestal on 24 September, 1947. It was at this meeting that MJ-12 was supposedly established by Truman, with Forrestal and Bush as key members.
The problem for Stan and other MJ-12 defenders is that Bush's memo of the conference, far from demonstrating that Truman considered Bush a trusted advisor (the kind you would put on a project like MJ-12), reveals the opposite.
Bush was there to discuss with Truman the prospect of Bush taking on the chairman's job at the newly formed Research and Development Board. It was not the job that Bush had been angling for - he wanted the post of Secretary of Defense, as noted by historian Pascal Zachary in Endless Frontier: Vannevar Bush, Engineer of the American Century (at pp. 322-323). Still, Bush was willing to take the RDB position for a year or so, but only on one condition - if the scientists in the country felt that he had the confidence of the President.
According to Bush, Truman replied that he did not see how they could think otherwise, and that Bush "certainly had his confidence."
That was not enough for Bush, however, who knew better. He told Truman that "inasmuch as he had not called me in for anything for a year, and since the last report that was made on the future of science in this country was made by someone else [PK note - Bush's rival John Steelman], scientists naturally gathered that I was not in his confidence."
This is a remarkable moment for anyone who thinks that Bush had retained any influence in the Truman administration. In the first place, he was being given a consolation job. In the second, he was not willing to take it unless Truman specifically expressed his confidence in him - twice! A man who knew he had the President's confidence would not have had to ask at all.
Truman again assured Bush that he had his confidence, and that Truman had not really realised that Bush had not had anything to do with the preparation of the Steelman report. He then told Bush that, "if it had not been true in the past, I would rather be frequently in contact and that if there was an impression that [Bush] did not have [Truman's] confidence that that impression would soon be corrected by future relations."
Bush took the job. He lasted, as he had predicted that day, less than a year, leaving the RDB in a mess after failing to secure Truman's confidence in his ongoing battles with the Joint Chiefs (see letter from V. Bush to James Forrestal, 8 September 1948 - NARA, RG 218, CDF 1948 - 1950, 334 RDB, 102). In 1948 Bush was specifically excluded from Truman's special advisory committee for an appraisal of progress in atomic research, a final snub to the man who had been instrumental in the creation of the atomic bomb in the first place (see Truman's Memoirs: Years of Trial and Hope, pp. 298 - 303; it is one of the few references he makes to scientific issues, indicating its importance).
In 1950, William Golden, Truman's science advisor, noted after a conversation with Bush that "Bush is now on the outside so far as Government scientific matters are concerned, a position of which he is very conscious and to which he referred time and time again. Though President Truman is very cordial to him he does not call upon him for advice, though Dr. Bush has pointed this out to him on a number of occasions. It is very evident that Dr. Bush, who had a very close working relationship with President Roosevelt, does not approve of the current state of affairs." None of this should come as a surprise to anyone who has studied the totality of Bush's government service, in particular the rapid decline in his influence once Truman suddenly came to power. Take the New York Times obituary for Bush (30 June 1974, pp. 1 and 36), for example. The Times devoted six columns to Bush's life, but only two paragraphs to his work after the end of the Second World War. Similarly, Physics Today (September 1974, pp. 71 - 72) observed that Bush would be "chiefly remembered for his leadership of the Office of Scientific Research and Development during World War II" and the twenty years prior to 1938, when "he attained great distinction as a professor of electrical engineering at MIT."
Of course, all of this was painfully obvious to Bush, who had discovered the true nature of his relationship with Truman on 14 June, 1945. Truman, in a 15 minute meeting that day, told Bush that he "liked" Bush's Endless Frontier report, which Bush saw as the blueprint for the future of science in the United States (a future that would have Bush at the helm). It was eerily similar to Truman's expression of "confidence" in Bush at the 24 September, 1947 meeting.
Bush left the June 1945 meeting no doubt feeling good about his prospects.
Later that day, a presidential aide told him that Truman had rejected "Endless Frontier."
Not the president himself; an aide. It is a snub that is indicative of what Truman really thought of Vannevar Bush, a man who, as he got the news, must have realised that he had reached the beginning of the end of his own, once seemingly endless, frontier in government service.
FINALLY, a picture of a UFO that is not a badly photoshopped flying cigar.
And not just one image. Hundreds of people reported seeing a ring of blinking lights in the sky above Houston, Texas, during a lightning storm last week and plenty of them had cameras.
Photographs and videos of the event have been circulating on social media, generating so much interest on social media that the Huffington Post actually ran a poll on “The Texas UFO”.
Some of the best footage was recorded by Houston musician Andrew Pena, who says he was videoing the spectacular lightning show while driving along the Interstate 45 freeway in the city’s south and didn’t realise what he had until he played it back at home.

The video, which shows a circle of brightly coloured lights moving around in the sky, has been declared both “amazing” and “nothing” by UFO-logists and sceptics alike.
“I think the trick with UFOs is figuring out what else they could be,” Dr. Carolyn Summers, vice president for astronomy at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, told KPRC-TV.
“It’s easy to say that it could be aliens. The more people who see it in different directions, the more likely we are to figure out where it is, what it is, and see if we can explain it.”

Mutual UFO Network chief investigator Fletcher Gray dismissed the object as “no more than light trapped in the side window” of Mr Pena’s car.
The UFO was reportedly hovering less than 20km from the Johnson Space Center, leading others to speculate it could have been NASA testing its latest toy, a “supersonic flying saucer” which was launched from Hawaii on June 28.

The device, officially named Low Density Supersonic Decelerator, imitates the rapid inflation technique of the Hawaiian puffer fish as a way to protect spacecraft during landings.
The aim is to reduce the speed of descending spacecraft, making it easier to land on planets like Mars.
Other theories include a weather balloon, the reflection of a street light, stadium lights and an unmanned drone but so far there has been no official explanation and no word from NASA.

A video shot outside of Vancouver, British Columbia, during a forest fire unexpectedly captured a lot more than firefighting efforts.
On July 17, 2014, Castanet.net, a news organization in Western Canada, posted a video shot in West Kelowna — northeast of Vancouver — featuring efforts to stop the Smith Creek Wildfire.

“In the news piece, a bright object appears from behind clouds above the fire area quickly moving left to right,” according to Castanet.net. The news site revealed the following description from a witness who noticed the unusual aerial object in the video:
Shot out from the clouds above the mountain during a forest fire near our neighborhood. It pulled a wisp of cloud with it as it exited.
A forest fire broke out on the mountain behind us and during the attempt to put it out, this event took place.
I was watching a video online of the fire from a little earlier in the day and I spotted the UFO 37 seconds in. I have no idea whether anyone else has noticed this or not. Most folks would be focused on the fire.
37 seconds into the video the UFO comes shooting out from a cloud right above the mountain and passes through a clear spot back into the next cloud. I was quite startled and surprised when I saw it.
The UFO left a thin trail of cloud vapor as it exited the cloud. This, to me, eliminates any thought that this might be a camera lens artifact or light phenomenon effect.
The event lasted only a few seconds. Judging by the distance I was from the object it had to have been moving very fast. The scene cuts away while the UFO is still visible. I’m left to assume that there must be more footage of it than I saw.
I phoned the website’s news department to ask if it would be possible to see the full footage, but was met with disapproval. In retrospect, perhaps I shouldn’t have mentioned the word UFO.
While no official explanation has surfaced about the UFO, OpenMinds.TV asked Marc Dantonio, chief photo and video analyst for the Mutual UFO Network, aka MUFON, to look at the video. He suggests the object could have been a bolide, a type of very bright meteor that streaks through Earth’s atmosphere.
“I am convinced that this was a really good find,” Dantonio told Open Minds. “It is an Earth-grazer, a meteor that approaches the atmosphere at a shallow angle, and continues on, skipping off the atmosphere back into space. Some of them will slow down enough to become trapped and fall to Earth but they many times just skip on off and keep going.
“This one does indeed show a vapor trail as it moves through, it does come out from behind the cloud, and it moves at a speed completely consistent with Earth-grazers.”

There’s one other interesting thing about the Canadian news video that may have been overlooked. YouTube commenter Joe Edwards observed something else in the sky in the same video footage:
“Did anyone notice the very next scene, it seems something dark and very fast flew from right to left across the screen, that was just as interesting,” Edwards wrote. “It occurs at about the 32-second mark.”
This object moves from the far right of the image to the far left, literally, at the blink of an eye. At first, one might assume it’s probably just an insect streaking by the camera. But, depending on how you look at it, it appears to slip behind trees and a telephone pole.
We asked HuffPost video editor Eva Hill to isolate the fast-moving object to see if it could be determined to fly in front of or behind the trees. We’ve included several screen grabs of the object in the following slideshow.

While that explanation seems plausible for the bright object, it doesn’t hold for another anomaly spotted in the enhanced version of the video. At about the 32 second mark in the news video, a black object appears quickly over the pickup truck. Some say it’s a spot on the lens or a bug but it appears to go behind the trees and the telephone pole. Enhanced views don’t help identify it and no explanation for it has come from any parties.

A bizarre looking UFO event has taken place in the skies over Milan, Italy on July 6th, 2014. What appears to be a very high flying highly reflective UFO has beencaught on HD video.
The video itself may give clues as to what we are seeing in the video. Two cameras were used in the supplied video . The first is a Sony Handycam HDR-PJ260 and for the second half the video it was a Canon EOS 60D digital camera set for video camera mode. The Canon EOS 60D provides the superiorimages of this event. I have focused on the Canon video for this article.
A little about the camera involved
The 9-point AF system on the new EOS 60D features f/5.6-sensitive cross-type focusing on all nine focusing points. The center AF point is a hybrid of standard cross-type and special diagonally-shaped “X” cross, with high-precision sensitivity for f/2.8 and larger aperture lenses. Available for the first time in an EOS camera are Canon’s new creative image filters. Familiar to Canon PowerShot users, these fun photo effects help make a great image more dynamic, even after it has been shot. Canon provides four artistic filters that allow photographers to capture an image and then create and manipulate a digital copy of it.
The of interest to us in this UFO video is the filter called “Soft Focus Effect Filter”. The Soft Focus effect filter helps dramatize an image and smooth over shiny reflections.
Here is an example of what the soft focus effect has on light colored object.
The cameras aperture is also of interest to us when analysing this video. Aperture, like ISO, controls two things. It controls the depth of field and the amount of light entering the lens. Depth of field refers to how much of the subject is in focus. A shallowdepth of field leaves some of the subject out of focus, while a larger depth of field means that the foreground and background are both in focus. The camera’s aperture is the hole or opening in the lens that allows light through. This hole can get bigger or smaller depending on the camera’s settings. The sizes of the opening are known as f-stops, hence the “F”. F-stops average from f/2.8, f/4.0, f/5.6, f/8.0, f/11, f/22.
In Canon’s literature it makes reference to the F/2.8 as being the optimum aperture setting and that it accommodates even larger aperture settings. In the image below take a look at what a aperture of F/2.8 looks like. Make note of the shape of the opening (the aperture).
This video is obviously a case of optical aberration combined with the “Soft Focus Effect Filter”. This yields the effect you see in the video. The hexagonal shape of the aperture comes into play when the light coming into lens bounces around the optic glass due to impurities in the optics. In bright light situations you can see the shape of the aperture due to optical aberrations in the glass. that would explain the similar shaped reflections you see off the UFO.
One of the more interesting clues that sheds some light on this UFO mystery is the fact that July 6th, 2014 was a Sunday. According to Italian tradition. Most weddings were held on Sunday as it is considered the “luckiest day” for the bond of matrimony.
What the most likely thing we are seeing in the video are wedding balloons released during a wedding ceremony.
Obviously this is just speculation on what the UFO could be. But it is a plausible explanation that has the benefit of being simple and does not require extraordinary events to have occurred. Occam’s razor may being dull and boring but is almost always right. The original photographer needs to come forth and inform us of the exact camera settings were used and provide the original rawvideo for a more in-depth analysis. Otherwise all things point to it being wedding balloons.
After years of speculation it has now been proven beyond a doubt that life can thrive in the vacuum of space. The Russian news service ITAR-TASS reported today that one of their cutting edge scientific experiments which involved taking samples from the illuminators (lights) and the ISS spaceside surface has proven unique and conclusive results. The scientists aboard the ISS have found traces of sea plankton on the outside of the space station.
…Microorganisms could be found on the ISS surface thanks to high-precision equipment. “Results of the experiment are absolutely unique. We have found traces of sea plankton and microscopic particles on the illuminator surface. This should be studied further,” chief of the Russian ISS orbital mission Vladimir Solovyev said.
Every conceivable niche upon planet Earth has been populated by diverse life forms – on land, in freshwater and the seas, beneath layers of rock far below the earth’s surface, in the frozen Arctic and even buried within the formless ooze on the ocean beds and encircling scorching sulfur-spewing hydrothermal vents.
Yet, inexplicably, there is one lone but vast ecological niche that was believed to be totally untouched by biological activity – the atmospheric layers that encompass our planet.
It is common knowledge that Planktons (planktic) survival is strongly dependent on factors such as sources of nourishment, the physical state of the water column, and the abundance of other plankton. Plankton organisms include drifting animals, protists, archaea, algae, or bacteria that inhabit the pelagic zone of oceans, seas, or bodies of fresh water; that is, plankton are defined by their ecological niche rather than phylogenetic or taxonomic classification. Now their niche can be expanded to include zero-gravity, zero-atmosphere, and harsh cosmic rays.
Experiments which had been conducted for a quite long time were summed up in the previous year, confirming that some organisms can live on the surface of the International Space Station (ISS) for years amid factors of a space flight, such as zero gravity, temperature conditions and hard cosmic radiation. Several surveys proved that these organisms can even develop and thrive… Vladimir Solovyev noted that it was not quite clear how these microscopic particles could have appeared on the surface of the space station…
As science evolves and our understanding of the world and the Universe we live in develops, it is going to become abundantly clear that life is able to survive in environments we never dreamed possible. It is this writers opinion that life abounds in the Universe. Life has had over 14 billion years to evolve. That amount of deep time leads to endless possibilities to the diversity and distribution of life in our Cosmos. Life must be everywhere in this amazing and wondrous universe. Life is not constrained to a small sliver of conditions.
Life will thrive in conditions in which we have not even considered up to this point. Life may have evolved even in open space.

An independent group of researchers in Puerto Rico believe they possibly made contact with ‘beings from elsewhere’ last Friday, August 15, 2014, 37th anniversary of the mysterious ‘WOW! Signal’ captured by SETI.
Joshua P. Warren's team transmitted a message, recorded by George Noory, into space all day, from Arecibo, Puerto Rico, and various other spots on earth asking ET to appear around certain GPS coordinates as a live webcam streamed footage of the general location.
A variety of anomalies were captured on camera, including a “saucer-shaped object” that appeared and which then shot straight up into the sky, accompanied by a strange, high-pitched tone.

In the next video, we also hear a strange high-pitched tone as an object appears and disappears straight up into the sky.
Warren’s team compared that tone to the famed WOW! Signal, (Video: WOW Signal received at SETI on Aug 15, 1977) and say it is so similar they think the UFO possibly sent this signal to them as a sign of successful communication.
Warren's team captured the strange audio throughout a section of 7+ hours of raw footage from the webcam. Watch the video titled Arecibo Project 2 and listen especially around 1:40:00 into the video.
Joshua P. Warren: “We believe the UFO may have sent us the same type of signal that came from space, and was recorded by SETI, 37 years ago". He adds: “This was a complete surprise. Though it was picked up via a webcam microphone, and not a broad dish like SETI had, our analysis thus far has shown it is essentially a demodulated signal from the WOW! transmission turned into audio.”
When asked for his opinion of what the “beings” may be, Warren said: “After my 7 years of research here, the accumulating evidence suggests we may be dealing with a new form of life in Puerto Rico. Sometimes huge, and sometimes small drones, I believe these beings could be a highly-advanced, extremely sleek and efficient organic/electronic hybrid. They have probably evolved much longer than humans, and are now capable of inter-stellar and inter-dimensional travel, seeming to pop in and out of our visible dimensions almost instantly.
Russian scientists say they have found traces of sea plankton on the surface of the International Space Station (ISS), proving that life can survive in the harsh conditions of space.
Russian ISS orbital mission chief Vladimir Solovyev told reporters that the discovery was made during the analysis of samples taken from the illuminators and the surface of the ISS. ITAR-TASS News Agency writes that this confirms, “some organisms can live on the surface of the International Space Station (ISS) for years amid factors of a space flight, such as zero gravity, temperature conditions and hard cosmic radiation.”

The experiments not only found that the sea plankton has survived on the ISS surface, but that they could develop.
How the plankton got onto the surface of the ISS is still not known. The plankton could have hitched a ride, or, according to Yahoo! News Australia, Solovyev offered another possibility, “It means that there are some uplifting air currents which reach the station and settle on its surface.”
Solovyev says, “Results of the experiment are absolutely unique. We have found traces of sea plankton and microscopic particles on the illuminator surface. This should be studied further.”
If life can survive adrift in space, it gives credence to the idea that life on earth could have originated from elsewhere. It just hitched a ride on a rock or chunk of ice. It also means that life can flourish in much harsher environments than previously thought. Space itself could harbor living creatures.

NASA spokesman Dan Huot says they have not confirmed the sea plankton claims. He told Space.com, “As far as we’re concerned, we haven’t heard any official reports from our Roscosmos colleagues that they’ve found sea plankton.” Roscosmos is Russia’s Federal Space Agency.
