Dit is ons nieuw hondje Kira, een kruising van een waterhond en een Podenko. Ze is sinds 7 februari 2024 bij ons en druk bezig ons hart te veroveren. Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.
This is our new dog Kira, a cross between a water dog and a Podenko. She has been with us since February 7, 2024 and is busy winning our hearts. She is a sweet, affectionate dog who quickly adapted to us within a week. She is very quick and curious, a very different dog than Noleke.

On June 24, 2014 at the camping site near Mt. Tokachidake (an active volcano in the northern part of Japan), which has been famous for UFO sightings for decades. You can see a bright object soaring up from the bottom right corner of the video screen, but in reality, my camera was facing the zenith, and the object was moving horizontally across the sky from the east to the south. I fixed my camera position and did not follow the object, so the zigzag motion of the object was not because of camera shake. I was the only one looking up the sky and other people (mountain climbers) were already sleeping in their tents. Since the site was at an altitude of 1200 meters and the temperature was very low at night, there were no insects flying, and the fireflies (lightning bugs) do not exist in the area (the fireflies do not fly at such a high speed in the first place and my camera cannot catch such dim lights). The flying insects usually look like black dots in the light and never reflect the light so brightly (only the moth would show blurry reflections). The site was completely dark and there were no outdoor lights nearby (and it was a dark moonless night). I could see many stars in the sky with the naked eyes, but my small digital camera (CASIO EX-H10) could not catch any starlight. So you can guess how bright that object actually was. These video clips are for the general citizens, so at first I did not go into details in my explanation for the media interview especially regarding somewhat mysterious incident occurred before the UFO appeared. About one and half hours before I saw UFO, I was surprised by a small mechanical sound that I heard from my left side (no more than two feet from where I was standing in the camping site), and I saw a long-haired young woman in white clothes.
As I mentioned,the site was almost completely dark and I could not even see my shoes very well, so I could narrowly recognized that woman but could not see her face. Then I saw a small and round red light in front of her chest or her solar plexus. I supposed she would be fixing her camera to a tripod to take pictures of beautiful starry sky (but I did not actually see any camera or tripod) . That slender lady was about 5 feet and 7 inches tall and had black hair. Although I wondered why she was working in the darkness without any lights, I stepped back silently because she did not seem to have noticed that I was standing so close to her and I did not want to surpise a young woman in the darkness. After that I kept standing for a while at some distance from her, but the next time I found that she was gone – disappeared without making any sounds of walking. In the camping site,I could hear footsteps very well even if they were more than 20 meters away.
I wondered where she had gone because I did not hear any sounds of car. It was too dangerous for anyone to leave the site on foot because there were wild bears often appear in that area. She was not looking up overhead but straight ahead to the east where the Tokachidake mountains rises – and it was the very direction where the UFO appeared about one and half hours later. Although there is no certain links between that mysterious lady and the UFO, I have to say that I had seen another mysterious young gentleman who suddenly disappeared before another UFO appeared in the sky when I was waiting for the chance to videotape UFO on the beach of Kamakura on February 25 in 2014. At that time, I saw a large disk-shaped green UFO that circled over my head and flew away. I was so surprised to see the UFO at a such close range that I momentarily forgot about taking its picture even though I had my camera at hand. Having had such similar two experiences, I came to believe that the mysterious lady and the gentleman may have something to do with the UFOs that appeared after these mysterious people disappeared. I have videotaped night scenes with my digital camera many times but I have never seen any digital noises. On the other hand, I have heard from my friends that they had witnessed a strange bright object flying with the zigzag motion in Hokkaido area which is one of the most famous UFO hot-spots in Japan. For the past several years, I have debunked many fake photos and videos as well as mistaken UFO reports, but it does not mean that I am a non-believer. I just wish to know the truth only. So I have conducted a camping in Hokkaido which is very far from Tokyo where I live. And fortunately I had opportunities to videotape the flying objects UFO with zigzag motion. In March 2010, an extraordinary event took place in Lavonia, New Hampshire…a small town in the central part of the state, situated between Lake Winnipesaukee and Winnisquam Lake. The following NUFORC reports are from two witnesses who had the same encounter together. Some may feel that these witnesses were attempting to generate a hoax in order to cover up something else. I’ve been willing to give the witnesses consideration and the benefit of the doubt until evidence to the contrary comes forward:
My name is D. I am sixteen years old and I live in New Hampshire. Last Saturday night I went out with my girlfriend, who lives in Laconia, when we had the following experience: I was with her around 11. We wanted to take her Mom’s car because it was nicer and we wanted to go look at the stars. We went to Fun Spot at the back parking lot in Laconia. There were 8 cars already there when we arrived. Little by little, the cars started leaving one by one. We were the last car in the parking lot. Then the lights of the parking lot and the lights of the houses around us and the lights of the houses down the street started to go out one by one. Then my girlfriend noticed something blocking the moon and asked, “What was that?” I knew it wasn’t a cloud because it moved back against the wind and blocked the moon again. I don’t know how to explain this but it turns into a ball when it wants to slow down and move around quickly and when it wants to go fast, straight, it turns into a flat plate with maze box-shaped lined lights. These were on all the time. The colors were dim yellowish white and did not change. I cannot tell whether these were part of the bottom or not. It flipped a lot. I did not know which side was right or up on it. It was doing this over the trees across the street from the parking lot. It suddenly crossed the street towards our car. Its size was as big as 14 houses. It was really quiet. That’s when we had to leave. But I did not have time to turn on the headlights.
We put the clutch in to start the car and jammed it into 1st and floored it. The front end got picked up and the car could not move. We steered left and right but the car just kept on going up into the air. My girlfriend was scared and she had boogers coming out of her nose while I was cursing. The car was going up and the back wheels were off of the ground. Then I looked out of my window and saw that the parking lot park lines started getting smaller. Both our windows were down this whole time. The front windshield started to crack and shake and the cracks spread from the passenger side to the driver’s side. It popped outwards like it was pulled out.
Something yanked my wrist. Not aggressively. And the whole time in my head something was telling me “Don’t panic,” or “Don’t be scared.” And it wasn’t in English in my head but I got the meaning. It wasn’t a language – I don’t know how to explain it. And on my girlfriend’s side, it had her half-way out of the window. Her butt was off of her seat, maybe one-and-a-half or two feet? and the car was pointed almost completely straight up at the stars – yet I saw no stars.
Every time I tried looking at it, in front, a white film went over my eyes. It was kind of like staring at the sun with your eyelids closed. I could not hear her screaming but I know that she was screaming. My ears felt like they kept on popping from the altitude. I couldn’t hear. The smell was like unbearable, like you want to close your nose. It was spicy, like pepper-sprayish, and clean at the same time – it was a smell that you could stand but you would close your nostrils because it still smells bad. When I tried to fight and get my wrist back in the car, that’s when the grip got stronger. It was pulling my left arm up out of the window – there was no pain but it was strong – …. I was trying to fight off the grip on my wrist. My tongue was numb. The horn beeped by accident and the grip got a little loose. It beeped again in the struggle and my arm flopped down in the car. My girlfriend also fell back in her seat and we realized we were still up in the air. ! It took 2 seconds for the car to drop. When we dropped, the air bags came out. We floored it as fast as we could through the town. It was almost a straightaway to go to my girlfriend’s house with very few turns to take. During this time, both of us couldn’t stop crying. We arrived at her house and her Mom asked, “What happened?” All this took place from 11pm to 12:30 am. It seemed like we were in the air for 10 minutes and it felt like it was forever. Her Mom called the police, and a policeman came.
The policeman did not believe us when we first told him what had happened until he looked at the vehicle. There were no scratches or dents or anything. He said that there was no reason for this to have happened to the car when there are no dents or scratches and no reason for the windshield to shatter and pop out the way it did. He had no explanation for why the windshield popped outwards. Also, when I went to open my cell phone in front of the policemen, I got shocked by it.
On Monday, I went to my doctor to get a whole physical to make sure I was OK. My wrist had a puncture wound while my forearm has a cut that is semi-circular and there’s blood on it. I do remember that when I first looked at my arm after I got it back in the car, it was red with blood. But by the time we got to my girlfriend’s house, there was no blood anywhere. On the center consul of the car, there is an imprint of her hand. I don’t quite understand what the policeman said but it was something about the skin of her hand leaving an impression.
Now, I don’t like to feel bumps in the car, or feel anything that trembles like a boombox. I don’t want to be out in dark areas at night. I also don’t like to walk out to my Mom’s car, anymore, outside. “
“My name is E and I’m eighteen years old. I live in Laconia. Last Saturday night, my boyfriend D came up to see me and we went out. When we got to Fun Spot, in Laconia, we parked in the back in the separate parking lot. We turned off the car and it was totally silent. We were just sitting there and I looked up at the moon. I saw this weird black-shaped object. And then, I said to my boyfriend, “What was that?” He looked up at it and he said, ”If it gets any closer, we need to leave.” I kept staring at the moon to see if it was just a plane or something. It moved back across the moon. It was huge and it looked like it was zig-zagging or changing shape. I couldn’t tell. He said, “I think it’s coming closer.” It flew so fast over the trees getting closer to where we were. It felt like it was zeroing in on us. It blocked the moon. And then, we started panicking and driving away. I thought were were going to hit the Bingo building. We turned left but it felt like we went off of a jump – you know that feeling? like we were on a rollercoaster? And we were in the air. I was trying to pay attention to everything that was going on but it felt like I couldn’t. When I looked up, everything was black. The smell was not nice but it was like something you could stand. It was an odor I’ve never smelled before. I heard absolutely nothing – it was silent. I felt immobilized like I had no control over what I was doing or over my body. I could see nothing. It was like opening your eyes in a pitch black room.
I felt really nervous and scared. I don’t remember crying or screaming. I held on to the center console because I felt like I was lifted. I was holding on so tight that my thumbprint is imprinted on the center console. And then, when I finally realized what was happening, I was so close to the windshield that my body was going forward with my arms behind me. Everything was black. I heard a loud noise like a horn. Once. And then, the car just dropped. I hit my eye on the dashboard and the airbags came out. I couldn’t believe what had just happened. I held my face and I looked over at my boyfriend. I saw that his left arm had blood. I said, “Are you OK?” I looked at the windshield and it was cracked, totally, but only on the passenger side. I could see D but I couldn’t see anything outside. The only thing that made the car drop was the sound of the loud horn. When the car dropped, there was a loud boom. After that, we just drove so fast out of there. The smell went away after we drove away. And I started crying. And I said, “What the h—l just happened?” My boyfriend said, “I don’t know, I don’t know.” I didn’t feel like they were following us.
When we got home, my Mom said that she could hear me from the outside while I was freaking out. I couldn’t stop crying. My Mom said, “Calm down and tell me what happened.” I said, “You’re never going to believe me.” “Is it my car?” she asked.
And I said, “Let me explain,” because I felt that if I didn’t explain it fast enough, it was just going to go away from my mind. At about 12:15 am, a cop arrived. I told him what had happened while I was sitting down at the dinner table. My boyfriend was sitting next to me – it was then that I noticed that there was no more blood on his arm or his clothing. The cop didn’t believe me at first until he finished looking at the car. He told my Mom that there was no reason for the air bags to come out because nothing else on the car was damaged. He didn’t check underneath the car but we found out later that the underside was totaled. The cop said that he was going to the place where we had been.
I just felt thankful that we’d gotten out of there. But I couldn’t stop crying for more than 2 hours afterwards. My Mom said, “You should go take a shower and get the airbag dust off of you.” But I didn’t want to be alone at all. I felt lucky. And there were no scratches or anything anywhere on my body.
The first night, my dream was that I was a little girl, maybe 6 or 7 years old, in an Elementary School classroom. I was looking at myself as a little girl. And then it was like the teacher called me up and I couldn’t talk or say anything – but everybody else seemed to say something for me. Like everything I wanted to say, everybody else was saying it except for me. They were saying exactly what I wanted say. I have never had a dream like this before – where I am a little girl and see anything about the past. I did not feel right at all.
I am better now. I still worry about seeing this thing again and I pay attention to the sky at night. I really don’t go out at night, anymore, because I’m scared. “
UPDATE: someone on the ATS forum contacted the Laconia, NH police and received the following response:
Officer Batstone responded 03-21-10 at 0017 hrs., to take the report from the 18 and 16 year old and look at the vehicle that was damaged. The incident they reported occurred at the Opechee Park, which is no where near Fun Spot as they report to you.
According to the ATS post, Opechee Park is 0.8 miles away from the Fun Spot. Not a great distance, but obviously the “incident” reported was different than the incident submitted to NUFORC.
Honestly, I think these kids were hesitant to tell the police that they parked in the Fun Spot for some reason, so the police report states Opechee Park. BTW, the Fun Spot is a huge place and (from what I gathered online) the parking area is immense.
However the time of 0017 hours (1:17am) on March 21st does correspond correctly in both reports.
This proves there was indeed an incident, that a vehicle was damaged and that an officer was called to the scene.

Police backed up a UFO sighting caught on VIDEO. It is a well documented case and does merit serious open minds.After responding to a call regarding unusual lights in the sky, police in Lower Paxton Township, Pennsylvania say they also witnessed a UFO.
ABC 27 in Harrisburg reported on a UFO sighting in Lower Paxton Township Monday night. Resident Stephanie Wilkerson says she was enjoying a glass of wine when she spotted a strange light.
She told ABC 27, “I thought it was a plane until I realized it wasn’t moving. I watched it for about 20 minutes and I started noticing it changing colors.”
She called to her husband to come outside and also called a nneighbour She says her neighbour was amazed and got a pair of binoculars to get a closer look. At first the neighbour thought it was a planet, but he says it changed colors, turning yellow, which made him rule that out.

Stonehenge blijft een mysterieuze plek vol verrassingen. Archeologen hebben onder Stonehenge 15 monumenten uit de nieuwe steentijd opgegraven. Het antwoord op de vraag waarom het gebouwd is, ligt dus misschien onder de grond.
Het team van archeoloog Vince Gaffney van de Universiteit van Birmingham heeft voor het eerst de ondergrond van de regio rond Stonehenge in kaart gebracht. De universiteit is samen met het Ludwig Boltzmann Instituut in Oostenrijk betrokken bij het zogeheten Stonehenge Hidden Landscapes Project.
De wetenschappers hebben onder meer een ‘cursus’ ontdekt, een walstructuur die zich uitstrekt over een gebied van drie kilometer. Deze constructie is honderden jaren ouder dan Stonehenge zelf en werd vermoedelijk gebruikt voor rituelen.
De archeologen troffen onder het aardoppervlak ook grafheuvels, greppels en dolmen aan. De ontdekkingen kunnen waardevolle informatie geven over de prehistorische vindplaats. Voor de opgravingen zijn bodemradars, magnetische sensors en 3D-lasers gebruikt.
Wetenschappers weten tot op de dag van vandaag niet wat de functie van het mysterieuze bouwwerk is. “Stonehenge is één van de belangrijkste en waarschijnlijk ook de meest bestudeerde monumenten ter wereld,” vertelde professor Gaffney aan Smithsonian Magazine. “Het gebied is door deze ontdekkingen helemaal veranderd.”
Town council repeals decades-old law that banned 'magic arts'
FRONT ROYAL, Va. (WJLA) -- A Northern Virginia community is divided tonight over a debate that sounds like something out of history books.
In Front Royal a decades-old law bans things considered "magic arts."
At a town council meeting Monday night, the passions were front and center.
Someone called this a faith war—pagans versus Christians.
Many in Front Royal say they'd pretty much forgotten about the law that bans fortune telling, Tarot card readings, or practicing magic arts.
When a Tarot card reader set up shop at the Brooklyn Marketplace on Main Street—for just one day—the manager says some people in the town threatened to boycott the other vendors if the Tarot card reader stayed.
"This is an extreme group of people who,have taken on an ordinance to push their own political agenda," says Arlene Ballou.
After looking the law over, the town council scheduled a vote to repeal the ban.
And opponents sprang into action.
Outside the town council meeting, one group of citizens marched carrying a cross while others bowed their heads in prayer.
“For the Judeo-Christian tradition, it's an abomination; it's giving someone the power that God has. Only God knows the future," says Leo Morton.
Inside, it was a packed house and things got heated.
At the last minute one councilmember tried to amend the law to take out offensive terms like "gypsy" but he was quickly voted down.

Several witnesses, including multiple police officers, saw a strange object over Lower Paxton Township.
The anomalous object was first spotted by Stephanie Wilkerson who had been sitting on her porch on Monday night when something in the sky caught her attention.
Initially believing it to be an airplane, Wilkerson became intrigued when she noticed it start to change color and called her husband outside to see what he thought. A neighbor went inside to fetch some binoculars in an effort to identify the object but remained unable to determine what it could be.
Eventually the police were called in to investigate and an officer turned up at the scene. Having no idea what the object was either he called his superiors for a second opinion but even they were unable to shed any light on the phenomenon.
One officer contacted Fort Indiantown Gap and Harrisburg International Airport to find out if they knew anything about it but was told that there had been no scheduled flights at the time.
A team of researchers has finally managed to explain how such large boulders can move all by themselves.
The phenomenon, which was discovered in the 1940s, pertains to the inexplicable movement of extremely heavy boulders across a dry lake bed situated in Death Valley National Park.
Nobody has ever seen the boulders move directly but long trails left behind them in the sand seem to suggest that they have somehow traversed significant distances all by themselves. Some of the rocks that have shifted even weigh upwards of 320kg.
In an effort to solve the mystery once and for all a team of scientists from Scripps Institution of Oceanography visited the site in 2011 and set up a high-resolution weather station and 15 rocks fitted with GPS devices to measure even the slightest movements with impeccable accuracy.
It would take a further two years for anything to happen, but eventually during a visit to the site in December 2013 the team discovered that the area had been submerged in 3 inches of water.
As it turned out the movement of the rocks occurs under a very specific set of circumstances that requires there to be just enough water to cover the ground but not enough to submerge the rocks. The actual movement occurs due to a combination of strong winds, the freezing of the water during the night and the thawing of the ice by the hot sun during the day.
"It's possible that tourists have actually seen this happening without realising it," said co-author Jim Norris. "It is really tough to gauge that a rock is in motion if all the rocks around it are also moving." Read more at Scripps
The Monsters have been uncaged! The whole furry, scaly, red-eyed, bat-winged, fanged, dripping-clawed, oversized pack of slavering unknown creatures that I spent two years cramming into a 376-page paperback are now free to romp and roam where ever anyone may care to read about them. And in this book, it’s not just all about upright, wolf-like creatures. I wanted to create a work that shows something of the breadth and depth of the unknown kingdom that eyewitnesses continue to glimpse day and night in sky, land and water. I think it’s amazing that people see giant primates, huge flying things thought to have died out with the dinosaurs, and weird beasties like the Chupacabras that looks like nothing ever seen before, and yet we know next to nothing about most of them.
Not that this is anything really new. People like Ivan Sanderson, John Keel and many other investigators were slogging through marshes and tromping far off lands long before I began to collect the experiences of otherwise ordinary people. Nor is my occupation all that unique; I have plenty of contemporary colleagues, friends and investigators from all sorts of backgrounds and abilities–too many to name here but see the acknowledgments page in Monsters for mere starters–to whom I and the whole field of cryptozoology owe an enormous debt for their own research and studies.
I hope this book, if nothing else, will help make the case that although modern science insists these creatures are not here, they sure look like they are to those who see them. Natuurkundigen gaan onderzoeken of we in een 2D-hologram leven
Amerikaanse wetenschappers willen aan de hand van een aantal experimenten onderzoeken of we in een hologram leven. Het klinkt misschien bizar, maar tegenstrijdigheden tussen de relativiteitstheorie van Albert Einstein en sommige ontdekkingen van Max Planck over materie kunnen alleen worden verklaard als we in een Matrix-achtig hologram leven. Dat zegt Craig Hogan, directeur van het onderzoekscentrum Fermilab in de buurt van Chicago.
“Duizenden jaren lang hebben we aangenomen dat de ruimte bestaat uit punten en lijnen,” zei hij. “Misschien is dat onjuist en bestaat de ruimte net als materie en energie uit golven. We willen erachter komen of ruimtetijd net als materie een kwantumsysteem is.”
Net zoals gasten tijdens een televisieprogramma geen idee hebben dat hun ogenschijnlijke 3D-wereld enkel bestaat op een 2D-scherm, is het goed mogelijk dat wij er geen weet van hebben dat onze 3D-ruimte slechts een hologram is. De informatie over alles in ons universum kan worden gecodeerd als kleine pakketjes met twee dimensies.
Als je vlak voor het tv-scherm gaat zitten zie je allerlei pixels. Van veraf vormen alle kleine puntjes een naadloos beeld. Wetenschappers denken dat het universum op een soortgelijke manier werkt en dat de natuurlijke ‘pixelgrootte’ van de ruimte ruwweg 10 biljoen biljoen keer kleiner is dan een atoom, een afstand die door natuurkundigen ook wel de Plancklengte wordt genoemd.
Holometer
De experimenten worden uitgevoerd met de Holometer, het meest gevoelige apparaat dat ooit is gemaakt. De Holometer maakt gebruik van een tweetal interferometers, apparaten die elk een laserlicht naar een stralingsdeler en door twee loodrechte armen zenden. Het licht wordt daarna teruggereflecteerd naar de stralingsdeler, waar de twee lasers weer samenkomen. De eventuele schommelingen in helderheid die door dat proces worden veroorzaakt, zullen door de onderzoekers worden geanalyseerd.
Verwacht wordt dat binnen alle frequenties zulke storingen zullen voorkomen. “Als we een storing vinden die we niet kunnen wegfilteren, ontdekken we misschien iets fundamenteels over de natuur – een ruis die intrinsiek is aan de ruimtetijd,” aldus natuurkundige Aaron Chou van het Fermilab. “Een positief resultaat zal een hele wereld van nieuwe vragen over de ruimte openen.”
“Als we iets ontdekken, kan dat onze ideeën die we duizenden jaren hadden over de ruimte compleet veranderen,” besloot Hogan.
A Texas witness at Fairfield reported watching a “very bright, white light” UFO at close range, according to testimony in Case 59342 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was “patrolling on County Road 2570” on her way to County Road 833 at 8:47 p.m. on August 24, 2014, when the object was first seen and thought to be part of a tower. She pulled her vehicle over to the side of the road.
“This huge, very bright object, went up and traveled slowly to my right,” the witness stated. “I then heard this jet-like noise that ended as quickly as it started. I put the truck in gear and went down to County Road 833 and turned around. By this time it was coming back to the spot I had first noticed it.”
The witness again parked her vehicle and while watching the object noticed lights on top of it.
“They went from one side to the other and had a rhythm in its own pace.”

The object then moved south and out of sight.
“It scared me to putting that truck in gear and hauling it straight back to my job site. I told a co-worker and I just kept going on and on about it. Took me about three hours to settle down and I particularly did not want to get back in the truck and go anywhere – period.”
The next day at work, the witness reviewed the area where the object was hovering.
“So the next day, going back to work, I saw that the place the UFO was hovering over is power lines from the power plant.”

Fairfield is a city in Freestone County, Texas, population 2,951. Texas MUFON is investigating. Texas has a current UFO Alert Rating of 3 with a high number of recent reports nationally. Texas had 80 UFO reports in July 2014 – the 2nd highest reporting state – while California had 104 reports as the highest reporting state. The above quotes were edited for clarity. The UFO Alert Rating System is based on five levels – 1 through 5 – where states with 150 or more reports for the month are rated an Alert 1; states with 100 or more reports are rated an Alert 2; 25 reports or more for the month are rated an Alert 3; 13 or more reports are rated an Alert 4; and those states with less than 13 reports for the month are an Alert 5.
Several people reported seeing flashes of light after the earthquake that shook Napa Valley on Sunday. Similar lights have been seen after other earthquakes all around the world. A scientist with the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) Institute in Mountain View, California says the lights, which are often mistaken for UFOs, are what he calls “earthquake lights.”
KPIX 5 (CBS San Francisco) says they began receiving reports of the strange lights right after the earthquake on Sunday. Other witnesses reported their sightings on twitter.

Scientist Friedemann Freund with the SETI Institute says these sorts of reports are often made after earthquakes all around the world. KPIX 5 included pictures and videos of the lights from Japan and Peru (seen above).
Freund says the lights are often believed to be UFOs or exploding transformers. However, he believes the lights are EQLs, short for “earthquake lights.”
Freund told KPIX 5, “What they are, are a consequence of the stresses building up deep below the earth, seven miles like in the case of the Napa Valley earthquake.”
Freund has been researching the EQL phenomenon for 12 years. He and his team have looked at over 65 cases spanning over 400 years.
Even though Freund offers a conventional explanation for the lights being seen after earthquakes all over the world, most seismologist don’t believe earthquake lights exits. However, Freund is far from being alone in his beliefs.
Earlier this year, the Washington Post reported on an experiment conducted by Rutgers University. They created a miniature model of earthquake-like conditions, and found “huge voltage jumps that result from the shifting of granular material used to mimic the earth.”
Their findings lend credence to Freund’s theory. However, he admits there is a lot of work still to be done. He told the Washington Post, “The observation is really well done, the experiments are well conducted, but the full understanding is not yet available.”
As for those who doubt the existence of earthquake lights, Freund says, “There are things that we still don’t understand about the earth, so why not accept unusual, exceptionally unusual phenomena taking place? And the light outburst from the ground is one of them.”
At least 20 witnesses watched several UFOs from the beach on Skyros Island in Greece. One witness caught a few of the objects on video before they sped off at “breakneck speed” into the distance.
Jewish Business News reported on the UFO video posted by YouTube user DisclosureNow – Greece (seen above). The video was reportedly taken soon after 1 am last Tuesday morning, August 12.

According to Jewish Business News, ” The UFOs were seen coming from the eastern part of the island, and they disappeared over the horizon in the sea.”
The description in the video, translated by Google Translate, says that 5 objects were seen flying parallel “in front of the stunned eyes of at least 20 person” who were at a beach bar. They watched the objects for about a minute when suddenly they “arrived at a point in the sky and disappeared at breakneck speed in the distance.”
According to the video, “The astonished patrons not believe their eyes as the objects were within walking distance from the beach – about 500 meters!”

The witness who posted the video says they checked with the Port of Skyros the next day, and were told that they knew of the sighting. Apparently, port authorities rushed to the area, but had not seen anything. They were alerted by other witnesses.
The video description also says that the witness attempted to capture all of the objects on video using their cell phone, but only three could be seen. The third can only barely be seen flashing.
The video does not show much, but if the witness is to be believed, the lights shooting off into the distance must have been quite astonishing.
Interesting object caught by Helioviewer, (AIA 304 - Time: 2014/08/26) which appears to show a huge object firing or possibly drawing energy from the Suns corona.
Is it a UFO? Or something else.
One day later, (Time: 2014/08/27) another unknown object caught by SOHO, Lasco C2.
Furthermore, Lasco C2 and Lasco C3 show several unknown large white cigar-shaped objects and one angelic shaped object.

The shapes appearing in the images sure are strange and obviously huge.

De vrij heldere beelden tonen een ovaal object met heel wat lichtpunten onderaan. Een filmpje op Instagram laat dan weer zie hoe de 'UFO' zich voortbeweegt door de lucht.
De waarnemingen hebben een lokaal tv-station aangezet om er een reportage aan te wijden. "Het is makkelijk om te zeggen dat het aliens waren", verklaarde astronoom Carolyn Sumners aan KPRC. "De truc met UFO's is om na te gaan of er een andere verklaring mogelijk is voor het vliegende object. Hoe meer mensen het hebben waargenomen vanuit alle mogelijke invalshoeken, hoe groter de kans dat we het gaan kunnen identificeren en duiden. Maar er zullen altijd dingen gebeuren waarvoor er geen verklaring is maar dat maakt het net interessant."

Witness said: My husband and I were standing on our front porch,when I noticed the ball of light. I have seen them many times but normally at night and not having a camera in hand but this time I finally did so I magnified my camera on my Moto x Motorola cell phone by 4.0x to catch it on film. We both were trying to get it on film at the same time but I was able to. This is the first time I have seen them during the day our neighbor has also seen these several times. I always watch the sky here at my house I have a thing for the stars and clouds etc.. So my normal is to look up and see what is above and I seen it just above the clouds facing across the street . It had no FAA lights on and as it passed it was no plane, or anything I can describe as a object that I would be use to seeing living not far from an air port / base .. It wobbled and the light on it changed colors it had a trace tail but nothing I wouldn’t explain away with camera flaring. I watched it for over 2mins as I video-ed it and it finally descended at an angle disappearing behind the trees. We first seen it at 8:26pm est and it disappeared at 8:28pm est.

Witness said: The flashes were observed over two nights in the oregon skies. They remain in a general location and sometimes flash brighter or dimmer between 8-10 seconds apart. The object flashes/pulses for over an half-hour and shortly after is no longer visible. This is a strange one indeed and one of my friends just reported seeing the same event. He lives about 7 miles away.

Op 27 september 2012 stuurde de Curiosity foto's naar de Aarde waaruit bleek dat er ooit op Mars water moet hebben gestroomd. Kiezelstenen waren dermate geërodeerd dat zij lang in stromend water hadden gelegen. In maart van vorig jaar maakte het Amerikaanse ruimtevaartagentschap NASA bekend dat onderzoek van een rotsmonster had aangetoond dat in vroeger tijden leven op Mars mogelijk is geweest.
