Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

Arizona witness recalls saucer UFO low over drive-in movie
An Arizona witness at Yuma recalls events from 38 years ago when a UFO moved close to family members at a drive-in movie theater, according to testimony in Case 60102 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting center.

The witness was at the drive-in with her mother, stepbrother and young daughter when dim lights were seen in the sky in September 1976.

“I simply assumed the dim lit lights were that of the windows of a passenger airplane,” the witness stated. “At this point I couldn’t see its shape – just the lights.”
But the object wasn’t moving.
“After about 20 to 30 minutes of glancing at what I assumed were window lights, I realized this ‘plane’ was not moving nor was it making any sound and realized it was not a plane. I stood up in the bed of the truck and told those with me to look. I began pointing at it because they couldn’t see it. Its windows were too dim.”
Then the object moved closer.

“It was a very dark object, but the closer it moved the better I could see its shape. It looked as if it had a wide, huge bell on top of it. When I saw it almost over our truck, my mother and stepbrother still couldn’t see it. A lady in a car next to us began trying to see it. It moved upward, tilted and that is when I saw the brighter lights on the bottom of this object. I was almost screaming for them to see it!”
As the object moved away, it appeared to be a saucer shape.
“At that moment it began moving, wobbling, and began going upward with its shape changing into a typical saucer shape. My stepbrother saw it at this point and said, ‘I see it! Look!’ At that time it began flopping from one side to the other several times. With each flop it got smaller like it was moving away. We were both tying to get my mother to see it, and she did at the point just before it went away. It was gone in a breath but left twinkly sparkles behind it. It looked as if it had gone through a door and closed it.”

Yuma is a city in and the county seat of Yuma County, Arizona, population 77,515. Arizona MUFON is investigating. Arizona has a current UFO Alert Rating of 5 with a low number of recent reports nationally. West Virginia witnesses at Elkins reported watching and following a low flying , triangle-shaped UFO that eventually appeared to cloak itself and disappear about 8:40 p.m. on September 25, 2014, according to testimony in Case 60101 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The reporting witness and his wife were driving south out of Elkins on Beverly Pike when two bright orange lights were observed low in the sky.
“The light on the right was higher than the one on the left, suggesting the object had just changed direction or was banking from a western direction of travel to a northern direction of travel,” the witness stated.

The couple moved closer to the object.
“We watched the lights get closer and appear level as the object was traveling due north in the opposite direction of travel from us. We noticed a third, dim white light in the front of the object, thus forming a triangle of lights with the two orange orbs to the rear/side.”
The witness described the object.
“As we got closer I noticed the orange lights were hourglass-shaped. Last night was very clear and devoid of any cloud cover. This made it possible to discern the shape of the object was indeed a triangle, flat black in color, reflecting no light.”

The witness believes there may be many more witnesses out there.
“This is a heavily populated area with many brightly lit businesses. The object traveled directly over a huge shopping center with Wal-Mart and several neighborhoods. We pulled over at a Ford dealership to observe and watched as the object slowly passed by – much too slow for even a small Cessna and at a low altitude.”
The object was low enough in the sky for a good look.
“The altitude was roughly slightly lower than that of which an airplane would be if it was about to land. I’d estimate speed at around 30-40 knots. The scale of this thing was huge! It’s ‘wing’ span I would estimate around 100 yards. I am very familiar with general aviation and military aircraft and this was neither. I saw no discernible control surfaces, canopy, windows, or any other feature – just flat black with two orange lights and one white, dim light.”
The object did not appear to move away, but just disappeared.
“As the object passed by us, it disappeared as if using a cloaking device. All we could see was stars. Again, this is a very heavily populated and bustling area. Anyone traveling south on the Beverly Pike between 8:35 and 8:40 would have seen it, as it was flying parallel with the five-lane on the Wal-Mart side of the highway.”

Nicolas Cage has done some spooky things for his movie roles, including taking on the role of Johnny Blaze in the Ghost Rider films. The most unusual, even for Cage, was when he stayed not only in a haunted house in Louisiana, but also Dracula’s Castle.
The nephew of the renowned director Francis Ford Coppola, Nicolas had decided to change his last name to make it on his own merits. Taking on the last name of not-so-well-known Marvel Comics character Luke Cage (one of his favorites), he certainly distanced himself from his already famous relative. The way he became famous was apparently by taking odd roles and putting his own brand of strangeness into them.
To prepare for one of his least successful films, Ghost Rider: The Spirit of Vengeance, Cage had spent a night in Dracula’s Castle in Romania to “channel the energy,” said costar Idris Elba. Elba had seen him come on the set and noticed he had that “up all night” look about him.
That was when Nicolas Cage confessed he’d spent the night in the fabled ruins, and Elba could only ask why he did that.
Idris Elba explained Cage’s actions as well as he could.
“We were shooting in Romania, Transylvania, and he just went up there to spend the night, as you do. And then he walked away. True story.”
Cage also owned a haunted house in Louisiana from 2007 to 2009. He had been writing a horror novel and wanted some inspiration, so it only made sense to him that said inspiration should come from the home of a notorious serial killer.
The home had once belonged to Madame Lalaurie, a nineteenth century socialite known for torturing and murdering her slaves. Apparently a history of violence and suffering was all the house had to offer, because Nicolas Cage admitted he didn’t get very far with the novel despite it having been called the “most haunted house in America.”
Cage’s attraction to all things spooky seems to have no end, since he once starred as a man who thought he had become a vampire after getting involved with an allegedly undead lover.
The Left Behind actor may have gotten his start in spooky dealings when someone had allegedly told him his son Weston would be dead by the age of 15. That person was wrong, but the message may have played with Cage’s mind a bit much and created a curiosity about the things that go bump in the night.

Chinese restaurant sold ‘opium-laced noodles’ so addicted patrons would come back for more
A noodle shop owner in northern Shaanxi province was detained after he was discovered to have been adding parts of a poppy plant, from which opium is made, to food so that customers would keep coming back. The noodle shop’s owner was held for questioning and confessed that he purchased 2kg of poppy shells (the bud of the plant in which poppy seeds are found) for 600 yuan(£60, $100) in August.
He secretly added it to the food to lure in more customers. The owner was detained for 10 days. Poppy shells used to be an ingredient in a popular hot pot sauce until the product was banned. The restaurant’s activities came to light after one customer, Liu Juyou, 26, tested positive during a routine urine test under an anti-drink-driving programme. He said he never touched illegal substances, so was shocked by the test result.
Liu was detained for 15 days from September 3, unable to convince police that the drug, he suspected, might have come from the food from a noodle shop he frequented. Liu asked his family to help him test the theory, eating noodles at the restaurant and going home to take urine tests. When the relatives also tested positive for drugs, they alerted the police, who launched an investigation.
An anti-narcotics police agent said that chemicals from poppy, even poppy seed pods, could build up in the body – enough to get a positive for opiates on a drug test. If the food is ingested over a long period of time, it would have an addictive effect, he said. However, despite finding the restaurant culpable, Liu’s appeal against his detention was dismissed by police, who said their priority was to detect drugs and punish drug users. The mainland’s anti-drug law bans opium, heroin, morphine, marijuana and any other anaesthetic and psychotropic drugs which can be addictive. – SCMP
Looking for extraterrestrial life is akin to a search for a cosmic needle-in-a-haystack, as evidenced by the above incredible Hubble Space Telescope image showing approximately 10,000 galaxies.
In large part, thanks to NASA’s Kepler spacecraft, more than 1,400 planets have been identified beyond Earth.
A few days ago, NASA tried closing the gap between life on Earth and the possibilities of life elsewhere. The space agency and the Library of Congress (image below left) brought together scientists, historians, philosophers and theologians from around the world for a two-day symposium, “Preparing For Discovery.” Their agenda: To explore how we prepare for the inevitable discovery of extraterrestrial life, be it simple microbial organisms or intelligent beings.
“We’re looking at all scenarios about finding life. If you find microbes, that’s one thing. If you find intelligence, it’s another. And if they communicate, it’s something else, and depending on what they say, it’s something else!” said astronomer, symposium organizer and former chief NASA historian, Steven J. Dick.
“The idea is not to wait until we make a discovery, but to try and prepare the public for what the implications might be when such a discovery is made,” Dick told The Huffington Post. “I think the reason that NASA is backing this is because of all the recent activity in the discovery of exoplanets and the advances in astrobiology in general.
“People just consider it much more likely now that we’re going to find something — probably microbes first and maybe intelligence later,” he added. “The driving force behind this is from a scientific point of view that it seems much more likely now that we are going to find life at some point in the future.”
Among the many speakers at last week’s astrobiology symposium, one has raised a few international eyebrows in recent years.
“I believe [alien life exists], but I have no evidence. I would be really excited and it would make my understanding of my religion deeper and richer in ways that I can’t even predict yet, which is why it would be so exciting,” Brother Guy Consolmagno, a Jesuit brother, astronomer and Vatican planetary scientist told HuffPost senior science editor David Freeman.
Consolmagno has publicly stated his belief that “any entity — no matter how many tentacles it has — has a soul,” and he’s suggested that he would be happy to baptize any ETs, as long as they requested it.
“There has to be freedom to do science. Being a good scientist means admitting we never have the whole truth — there’s always more to learn.” Consolmagno also doesn’t think the public would panic when or if it’s revealed that alien life has been found.
“I really think it would be a three-day wonder and then we’d go back to worrying about reality TV or the crazy things going on in Washington — that’s the way human beings are. Because I think most people are like me: we expect it’s out there. And our reaction would be, ‘Wow, thank heavens. It’s about time.”
Earth is no longer the center of the universe, nor is it flat — at least that’s the currently accepted thinking among most scientists. And we now know, conclusively, that there are a lot more planets than the ones in our own solar system.
“The number of habitable worlds in our galaxy is certainly in the tens of billions, minimum, and we haven’t even talked about the moons. And the number of galaxies we can see, other than our own, is about 100 billion,” Seth Shostak, senior astronomer at California’s SETI Institute told HuffPost.

At the NASA/Library of Congress symposium, Shostak gave out some startling numbers about how many stars there are in the part of the universe that we can see. “It’s a big number: 10,000 billion, billion. And we know that most of those stars have planets — 70 or 80 percent. If all of those planets are sterile, and you’re the only interesting thing happening in the cosmos, then you are a miracle. That would be exceptional in the extreme. So, the middle-of-the-road approach is to say, ‘You’re not a miracle, you’re just another duck in a row of ducks.’”
“The bottom line of this,” Shostak said, “is something like one in five of all stars may have an analog to Earth. That’s a lot of habitable worlds, and, indeed, the number of Earths in our own galaxy might be on the order of 50 billion.”
Those are big numbers to ponder.
The D.C. conference included a great deal of discussion about the upcoming mission of the Hubble’s long-anticipated successor: the James Webb Space Telescope. As large as a tennis court, this deep space observatory is scheduled for a 2018 launch and will orbit beyond our moon. The Webb telescope will focus on new planetary discoveries and collect data from the atmospheres of those planets, looking for certain things that might point to what we would consider possible indicators of life.
HuffPost asked Dick, an astrobiologist, for his opinion on the continuing output of UFO reports around the world.
“I try to keep an open mind on this. Ninety-some percent can be explained by natural phenomena, etc. The question is what to do with the other 3 or 4 percent,” Dick said. “My opinion is that they should be studied further, on the one hand. By definition, they’re something that we don’t know what they are. They could be some physical, psychological or social phenomena that we don’t know about. But I think it’s jumping to a conclusion that they’re extraterrestrial. I don’t see that evidence.

I woke up about 2 AM with my cat napping between my ankles. He had curled up and started purring, no way in hell I was going to wake him up. I rolled over and went back to sleep.
At 9 AM, I woke up to my alarm, called a store to see if my application had gone through yet, and reached down to pet Gandalf. He hadn’t moved, which I thought was strange because he’s still young and doesn’t sit still for longer than 20 minutes. I started talking to him, which usually gets a churr in response. He was silent. I nudged him off my foot, when I realized he was stiff.
I put my hand on his chest, not breathing. I panicked and picked him up, absolutely rigid and cool to the touch. His tongue was out slightly, and I started crying. I had just lost a cat a month ago, right before we got Gandalf. I shook my boyfriend awake, telling him, “There’s something wrong with Gandalf wake up wake up!”
Then I heard a churr. Gandalf sat up and stretched, then attacked my boyfriends feet for moving under the covers. Boyfriend snapped at me for scaring him awake, and told me to lay back down for a bit before I got up. From waking up, to discovering my dead cat, to waking my boyfriend up couldn’t have taken more than two minutes, but I checked my phone and it said 10:30 AM.
All day I keep checking on Gandalf, the only strange thing about him is he hasn’t let me out of his sight since this morning. Combine that with the creepy alien kitty outside and I don’t think I’ll be sleeping tonight.

As an abductee, whenever I have been in the presence of tall reptilians, rage and hatred is palpable, from them; according to several psychics, who never met each other, I am a reincarnated Pleiades officer who was on a rescue mission to save Earth children from reptilian slavery and in the process, I and my crew were captured and hanged.
Most fascinating, without them ever seeing me, I have a noose-like scar from surgery on my neck, to remove discs that crushed my spinal cord , this lifetime, a vestigial remnant of reptilian vendetta exacted in this lifetime.
Earth is under invasion, one person at a time, and we are all alone, together.

I felt electric vibrations throughout my whole body while in bed and saw my body then separate and float out of my body, in astral abductions of my spiritual essence, which retained all of my predilections and discrimination, all the while leaving my chop-meat-DNA- contrived- body, bereft of spirit, behind, in bed.

A quantum leap in humankind' s intellectual development occurred in Sumer 6000 years ago when cuneiform writing was invented in order to record a dramatic starburst. Every pulsating thrust of the technology with which humankind surrounds itself today was initiated when a star died in a dramatic, brilliant explosion.
The psychological and cultural impact of the supernova on the inhabitants of Sumer was overwhelming. Today astronomers recognize the nearest and brightest supernova ever witnessed by humankind as Vela X, now a faintly flashing pulsar about 1300 light-years from our solar system. George Michanowsky, a specialist in Mesopotamian astronomy, saw how the very first and most fundamental symbol of Sumerian script was one which represented “star.” He went on to show how the first word ever written by a human soon became linked with the symbol for “deity,” thus communicating “star god.”

In effect, Steiner may have given us another definition of the semi- divine progeny that the ancient Hebrews named Nephilim,” which does, in fact, mean demigod, men of “great renown.”
Steiner went on to speculate that within the larger evolving human race are the descendents of those divine-human hybrid beings, men and women who are animated by higher ideals, who regard themselves as children of a divine, universal power. It need not be overemphasized that the larger body of humankind is devoted to the service of egotism, materialism, and selfish, personal interests.
Steiner believed that within what he termed the emerging “Sixth Post-Atlantean Race” would be children of the divine universal power who would be able to initiate those men and women who have developed their faculty of thought so that they might better unite themselves with the divine. The children of the divine universal power, those who have the “seed” within them, will be able to initiate the more advanced members of humankind. People so initiated will be able to receive revelations and perform what others will consider miracles. The initiates will go on to become the mediators between humankind and the higher intelligences.
The whole point of the efforts of these higher intelligences is to enable humankind to become more independent, more able to stand on its own feet without having to rely on the higher order of beings that directed us in ancient times.
Rudolf Steiner was born at Krajevic, Austria-Hungary (now Yugoslavia) on February 27, 1861. Although he had experienced encounters with the mystical and the unknown as a young child and was guided by an adept he would only refer to as the “Master,” Steiner's early academic accomplishments were in the scientific fields. His father had wished him to become a railway engineer, which led Rudolf into a study of mathematics, and seemed only to whet his appetite for the material sciences, leading him to pursue studies in medicine, chemistry, physics, as well as agriculture, architecture, art, drama, literature, and philosophy. Fascinated by the works of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Steiner began the extensive task of editing Goethe's scientific papers, and from 1889 to 1896 worked on this project. It was also during this period that Steiner wrote his own highly acclaimed The Philosophy of Freedom.
When he was in his late thirties (c. 1897), Steiner received a revelation of what he believed was the turning point in human spiritual history, the incarnation of the Divine Being known as the Christ. In the twentieth century, Steiner said, humankind began to enter the “fullness of time” when the Christ principle, cosmic consciousness, might once again become manifest.
Steiner defined “Christ consciousness” as a transformative energy that greatly transcended orthodox Christianity. In Steiner's view, the Master Jesus became “christed” and thereby was able to present humankind with a dramatic example of what it means to achieve a complete activation of the spiritual seed within all human souls and to rise above all material considerations.
In Steiner's Tenth Lecture on the Gospel of St. Luke, he reflects that just as a plant cannot unfold its blossom immediately after the seed has been sown, so has humankind had to progress from stage to stage until the right knowledge could be brought to maturity at the right time.
To Steiner, the Christ energy is the catalyst that germinates the seed that great Spirit Beings implanted within their human offspring. There were, of course, the physical seeds of male and female, which intermingled to produce the whole human being. But there was also something in each human that did not arise from the blending of the two physical seeds. There was, so to speak, a “virgin birth,” a something ineffable, Steiner says, which somehow flowed. into the process of germination from quite a different source: “
In 1913, Steiner set about forming his own group, the Anthroposophical Society, which he declared would be about the utilization of “human wisdom” (anthro=man; sophy=wisdom)to achieve contact with the spiritual world. The human intellect, Steiner insisted, could be trained to rise above material concerns and to perceive a greater spiritual reality. The human consciousness had the ability to activate the seed that the great Spirit Beings had implanted within their human offspring.
Steiner emphasized that the path to such contact might best be attained by a proper application of meditation. When human consciousness had been raised to the spiritual level where it can experience the eternal element that is limited by neither birth nor death, then it can comprehend its own eternality and its ability to be born again in subsequent life existences.

Such spiritual prophets as Steiner have foretold that humankind is now entering the “fullness” of time when cosmic consciousness, can once again become manifest. Sensitive observers of the contemporary scene have taken careful note of the fact that thousands of men and women throughout the world are being activated by a heightened state of awareness that comes to them in dreams, visions, and strange memories. These individuals are feeling the seed bringing forth new life within them and they are concerned about the spiritual needs of the human souls around them.
Spiritual history is replete with many sincere and insightful prophets and teachers who lived before the Master Jesus, but, Steiner said, they could speak to their fellows only by using the faculties transmitted through their earthly natures. They must use the energy and the wisdom of Earth.
According to Steiner, Jesus tapped into an awareness of that higher energy which comes from the realm of the Divine. He knew that a speck of this energy no larger than a mustard seed could exalt the human psyche. He knew that even the slightest infusion of this energy into the physical seed of male and female would transform the individual into a citizen of a higher dimension of reality, the “Kingdom of God.” And, at the same time,.he taught that the doorway to enter such a wondrous kingdom lay within the heart of each sincere pilgrim who sought to join him there.
Perhaps something truly was added to the energy of the Earth Mother at that time–call it the Holy Spirit for lack of a better term—and hundreds of thousands of men and women are being activated by that same cosmic energy today as it is received in their dreams, visions, and memories. All over the planet, contemporary citizens of Earth are having the seed within them, their spiritual legacy from beyond the stars being brought to fruition.
Futurist Theodore J. Gordon has commented: “In considering the future of religion, it is appropriate to ask what the unknown might yield in the next few decades that would have relevance to man' s view of his relationship to the cosmos. A major event … would be the discovery of extraterrestrial life wherein we would become members of a community of life, participants in a drama bigger than we could have dreamed.”

Still wondering about the mystery of flying saucers and 3-foot tall aliens dressed in metallic clothing, which the FBI described in a 1950 memo? The agency has released a statement with details about the famous document.
The memo describing the mysterious UFOs was created in 1950, three years after the Roswell incident, but the Federal Bureau of Investigation claims they are not connected. In a blog post published this week, the agency says it never investigated the mysterious sightings – even though it could not explain what Guy Hottel, former head of the FBI’s Washington, D.C. field office, described.
“An investigator for the Air Force stated that three so-called flying saucers had been recovered in New Mexico,” Hottel wrote in the memo, which was addressed to FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover. “They were described as being circular in shape with raised centers, approximately 50 feet in diameter. Each one was occupied by three bodies of human shape but only 3 feet tall, dressed in metallic cloth of a very fine texture. Each body was bandaged in a manner similar to the blackout suits used by speed fliers and test pilots.”
According to the document, three men including a police officer, a highway patrolman and an army guard had all reported seeing a “silver colored object high up approaching the mountains at Sardina Canyon” which then “appeared to explode in a rash of fire”. It also explained that several residents had reported witnessing two explosions, followed by a falling object.
The memo had first been released under the Freedom of Information Act in the late 1970s, but was not available online until the FBI uploaded its public records in April 2011. Since being posted to the Internet two years ago, the document has generated more than two million views, making it the FBI’s most-viewed public record in history.
The document’s publication has led to numerous media reports that labeled it as “proof” of alien existence. In 2011, the Daily Mail connected the FBI’s report to the 1947 Roswell UFO incident – an alleged extraterrestrial spacecraft crash that has been the subject of controversy for decades.
But since the FBI’s memo was published three years after the Roswell incident, the agency wants the media to know that it is a separate incident and that it never solved the mystery.
“The Hottel memo does not prove the existence of UFOs. It is simply a second- or third-hand claim that we never investigated,” the bureau said in a blog post on its website.
“There is no reason to believe the two are connected,” the post added.
Even though it is the FBI’s job to investigate potential security threats, which may include unidentified flying objects and mysterious explosions, the agency has defended its inaction, claiming that verifying UFO sightings is not part of its job description.
“The FBI has only occasionally been involved in investigating reports of UFOs and extraterrestrials,” the blog says. “For a few years after the Roswell incident, Director Hoover did order his agents—the request of the Air Force—verify any UFO sightings. That practice ended in July 1950, four months after the Hottel memo, suggesting that our Washington Field Office didn’t think enough of that flying saucer story to look into it.”
Although the FBI wants to clear up rumors about the memo and claims that it never confirmed that any sort of alien life forms had been found, the agency does admit that the sightings still remain a mystery – a statement that might instill hope among UFO believers.
“Sorry, no smoking gun on UFOs,” the agency writes. “The mystery remains…”

A witness to the UK’s most famous UFO sighting says he may be suffering from the effects of radiation, and in a recent press release, points out that a UK Defence Intelligence (DI) report suggests that he may have been exposed to UFO radiation. Meanwhile, the U.S. Air Force says they have lost his service and medical records from that time.

It was reported this week that the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) has admitted that they will be releasing more UFO files, despite having said that they had already released all of their UFO files. This current revelation has been due to the efforts of John Burroughs, a military witness to the UK’s most famous UFO sighting.
Burroughs says he has been seeking official answers as to what he might have experienced that night in December, 1980 when he and others witnessed a UFO. At the time, Burroughs was a U.S. Air Force security officer stationed at RAF Bentwaters in Suffolk, which, along with nearby RAF Woodbridge, was on lease to the U.S. Air Force.
Since then he has had health problems and suspects that his UFO experience may have contributed to his condition. He says, “I have specific medical symptoms that are considered by some very knowledgeable people to be a fingerprint of a specific kind of radiation.”
It was actually a Freedom of Information Act Request (FOIA) he made in December that prompted the MoD to release these newly found UFO documents. However, coincidentally, the MoD did not actually post that information publicly until September 16, the day after Burroughs sent out a press release to many UK media outlets alerting them to his plight.
On the Mod’s weekly FOI responses site they posted a response to a letter by Andy Russell asking for the same files Burroughs was asking for, stating that they will release them, but it will take up to 9 months to process them first. Russell, a UK citizen, says he made the request after reading about Burroughs discussing the files at a talk in Sedona, Arizona.
Burroughs points out that in Volume 2, on page F4, there is a discussion about the effects of “UAP radiation” on humans. UAP, or Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, is a phrase used for UFO. It states, ” The well-reported Rendlesham Forest/Bentwaters event is an example where it might be postulated that several observers were probably exposed to UAP radiation for longer than normal UAP sighting periods.”
The document also noted the effects of “UAP radiation” in the next section:
An important fact is that the reported effects of (presumed) UAP radiation on humans is that it is quick-acting and remembered – although, curiously, following the event there is little or no recall of events as a continuum. In short, the witness often reports an apparent ‘gaps’ or ‘lost time’ – often not accounting for up to several hours.
This section of the DI memo was shocking to Burroughs. He suffers from congenital heart failure, and suspects it has something to do with his years of service. Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services denied his claim in 2012 and told him there was no record of him being in the Air Force in 1980. They said his military records began in 1982. He had actually joined in 1979. In fact, he had to work with Arizona Senator John McCain’s office to get his records corrected. As reported by Billy Cox of the Herald Tribune, Burroughs was told by a McCain staffer, “It took a yeoman’s job to get your DD214 corrected, but we may never be able to gain access to the missing USAF medical records from 1979 to 1983.”
Another witness to the events, James Penniston, is having similar problems receiving his medical records. They believe their files have been deliberately tampered with.
Burroughs is frustrated by the whole affair, and continues to seek to get the UK and US governments to release what they know about the Rendlesham Forest incident.
He is also very concerned that he, as a witness/victim, has had to do all of this research on his own. In particularl, he wonders why researchers, such as Dr. David Clark, who helped get some of these files released and aided the UK National Archives with talking points on the UFO file releases, did not spot some of this.
Burroughs says, “Clarke was able to pick out information on key cases such as Rendlesham, offering for public understanding that the MOD thought the issue was settled, but did not include the part where they said observers experienced radiation and other side effects at Rendlesham.”
Burroughs says he realizes, “[The radiation] is not proof that the phenomenon encountered is extraterrestrial in origin, but it suggests the possibility. I am not saying I know what the phenomenon was that we encountered. Only that it was.”

Two days before the St. John's symposium, on Tuesday, at about 1:30 am on the morning of May 9, 1998 police officer Louis Byrnes of Wynnewood, Oklahoma, spotted a lighted object in the sky.
The UFO flashed blue, red and white lights.
Byrnes radioed in to the Oklahoma Highway patrol and then kept the UFO under observation for forty five minutes.
In the meantime, the State Highway Patrol office at Oklahoma City was notified and it in turn alerted Tinker Airfare Base nearby.
The airbus reported having the object located on it's radarscope and also that there were no other aircraft aloft at that time, so that the unidentified blip was the only one on the screen.
The next night, May 10, a Wednesday night, diamond-shaped formations of UFO's which changed colors from red to white were seen for forty five minutes by patrolmen in three police cars cruising about Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Oklahoma highway patrol headquarters received so many calls from a wide area that it's teletype was jammed.
It's official report said the sightings came from Purcell north through the Norman area to Chandler and back through Meeker and Shawnee.
It also stated; "Oklahoma highway patrol units 26, 30, and 40 have also made visual sightings. Tinker air force base has had from seven to twelve of them on radar, at a time, and they advise that they are flying at approximately 22,000 feet.
At eight the next morning, the whole state was plunged into unexplained darkness for over an hour; a bright morning dawn became midnight. **
At C.I.A. Headquarters, in Quantico, Va. , Dr. Phyllis Boylan, Chief Officer of E.T.B.E. (Extraterrestrial Biological Entities) research read a presidential briefing paper to an office of seven committee members.

The child had been swept into an overhead craft and examined by small, dark, large-eyed, hairless beings with
large pear-shaped heads, that extended in the back, a thin torso, long arms with three long fingers, spindly legs, no ears and mere slits for mouths.
The large black eyes had compelling power, but unlike their assurances to the contrary, he had felt pain unlike any imagined, and as he had screamed, they had penetrated parts of his body: ears, eyes, nose, head, sinuses, feet, arms, intestines, and legs had implant energy drains placed.
The large black-wet eyes had stared at him endlessly, extensively, close up to his head.
"This will not hurt."
But agony had suffused lines and channels in his body.
Terror, rage and pain had overcome him and the creatures, immune to his suffering, had said,
"You will forget."
When he had returned to the desert floor, forty minutes later, his father had looked switched off. eyes glazed, saliva dribbling from the right corner of his mouth.
The boy's sobbing had awakened his father who had
told him that he had imagined and had dreamed it.
"The Texas sun can give you heat stroke, son, make you see things", he had said and had held the shaking boy close, placing a hand over his son's forehead.
"We'll find some shade."
They had walked to the shade of hemlock and mesquite at the foot of rock outgrowth and his father had eaten bologna sandwiches with yellow mustard, washed down with canteen water.
But the child had held his father's hand and would not let go; he had stared upwards in fear.

Deze omstandigheden kunnen zich overal voordoen.”
“Toen we de oorsprong van het water op aarde bepaalden, ontdekten we dat de manier waarop ons zonnestelsel is gevormd niet uniek is en dat exoplaneten zich vormen in een waterrijke omgeving,” ging hij verder. “Op sommige exoplaneten kunnen de omstandigheden geschikt zijn voor de ontwikkeling van leven.”
Het internationale team van wetenschappers bestudeerde ijs dat sinds het ontstaan van het zonnestelsel bewaard is gebleven in kometen en asteroïden. Aan de hand van computersimulaties toonden ze aan dat het water in de oceanen, meteorieten en kometen eerder werd gevormd dan het zonnestelsel zelf.
Het water bevatte deuterium, een ‘zware’ isotoop van waterstof, wat erop wijst dat het afkomstig kan zijn uit de interstellaire ruimte. De onderzoekers hebben vastgesteld dat in ieder geval een deel van het water in het zonnestelsel en op aarde ouder is dan de zon.
Als andere zonnestelsels zich op een soortgelijke manier vormen, lijkt water een veelvoorkomend ingrediënt te zijn voor de vorming van planetaire systemen, aldus hoofdonderzoeker Ilsedore Cleeves van de Universiteit van Michigan.
Tot op heden heeft de Kepler-satelliet bijna 1000 planeten buiten het zonnestelsel ontdekt. Het onderzoek is verschenen in vakblad Science.

Ons sterrenstelsel, de Melkweg, gaat botsen met het naburige sterrenstelsel Andromeda en dat wordt niet fraai. Dat wisten we al enkele jaren, maar het Australische centrum voor radio-astronomisch onderzoek heeft daar nu een simulatie van gemaakt die ons een idee geeft van wat er onze planeet te wachten staat.
Deze simulatie maakt deel uit van onderzoek dat probeert aan te tonen dat reuzensterrenstelsels zoals Andromeda de neiging hebben kleinere sterrenstelsels zoals de Melkweg op te vreten om te groeien.
"In oorsprong zijn alle sterrenstelsels klein. Ze groeien door gas te verzamelen dat ze omzetten in sterren", zo stelt astronoom Aaron Robotham, die dit onderzoek leidde. "Nu en dan worden sterrenstelsels letterlijk opgeslokt door grotere sterrenstelsels".
U hoeft echter nog niet meteen naar de dichtstbijzijnde schuilkelder te rennen. De kans dat u het nog meemaakt, is uiterst gering. De botsing komt er immers pas over zo'n vijf miljard jaar.
Een Britse UFO-spotter die elke dag op de website van NASA de foto's bestudeert die de Marsmobiel Curiosity maakt, heeft daar zowaar een 'verkeerslicht' gezien.
Joseph White wreef even in zijn ogen toen hij de foto zag die de Curiosity op 19 september op de rode planeet maakte. Deze keer was het geen rat of een doughnut. "Van bij het begin volg ik de foto's van NASA, ik surf elke dag naar de website om de nieuwe beelden vanop Mars te bestuderen", verklaarde White aan Western Daily Press. "Toen ik deze foto zag, dacht ik 'secondje, hier is iets vreemds aan de gang'".
Terwijl White gelooft dat wat hij op de foto zag "duidelijk door een intelligent wezen is ontworpen", gaat het hoogstwaarschijnlijk om een rots.
Eerder deze week zag blogger Paul Scott Anderson een vreemde 'val' op Mars. Volgens wetenschappers bij NADA was het een sfeer rots die zijn bolvorm aan concretie te danken heeft, een proces waarbij mineralen hard en compact worden.
Eerder werden al een iguana, een vinger, een schedel en een dijbeen 'gezien' op foto's van Mars.
De Indiase Marssonde Mangalyaan, die gisteren in een baan rond de Rode Planeet is gekomen, heeft haar eerste foto's van het hemellichaam doorgestuurd. Dat heeft het Indiase ruimtevaartbureau ISRO laten weten.
De Mangalyaan is het eerste Aziatische ruimtetuig dat Mars bereikt. De fierheid van India daaromtrent kan alleen maar stijgen nu de sonde haar eerste foto's heeft doorgestuurd.
De kleurencamera op de sonde is kort na het stabiliseren van de elliptische baan van de Mangalyaan aan het werk geschoten, goed voor een tiental foto's van het oppervlak en de omgeving, vertelde wetenschappelijk directeur V. Koteswara Rao tegenover het Franse persbureau AFP. De Mangalyaan zal ook foto's van de twee manen van Mars nemen en naar het vluchtleidingscentrum in Bangalore sturen.
Nog volgens Rao is alles normaal aan boord van de slechts 74 miljoen dollar kostende sonde die in de eerste plaats een technologische demonstratiemissie voert. Niettemin doet de Mangalyaan, ('Mom' of 'Mars Orbiter Mission' in het jargon) ook aan heus wetenschappelijk onderzoek, bijvoorbeeld naar de aanwezigheid van methaan in de atmosfeer. Landen doet 'Mom' niet.
