Dan Aykroyd endorses UFO Kickstarter campaign

Dan Aykroyd, longtime paranormal and UFO enthusiast, has made an endorsement video for the Mutual UFO Network’s (MUFON) Kickstarter campaign.

Aykroyd’s work in TV and film is legendary, and he is a major UFO buff. The extent of his interested was demonstrated in the 2012 documentary Dan Aykroyd Unplugged on UFOs. It is 2 hours of Aykroyd talking about UFOs, which may sound boring to some, but I loved it. His level of knowledge on the history of the phenomena is remarkable. He shows he is at par with some of the top researchers in the field.

A video released recently the MUFON (seen above) shows he is still keeping up with the topic. In the video, he is endorsing MUFON’s Kickstater campaign. The goal of the campaign is to raise $78,000 to remake their website and UFO database. The plan is to make the website and reporting interface more user friendly for researchers and people in the general public who wish to report their personal UFO sighting.

In the video, Aykroyd talks about his longtime interest in the topic of UFOs, and mentions the television series Psi Factor he produced with his brother. He explains that it “touched on inter-dimensional issues.”

Aykroyd then goes on to ask people to help MUFON and its leader, Jan Harzan. He explains that “Jan having a spectacular experience as a 10 year old boy.” See more on this in the video below.

Aykroyd goes on to say, “Anything we can do to help him understand where these aerodynamically sophisticated vessels are coming from and who they are piloted by is really something that will contribute to the betterment of mankind.”

Aykroyd’s commitment to MUFON is sincere. He has been involved with MUFON for many years, and has met with their leadership several times to offer his help.

In the endorsement video, Aykroyd mentions a couple of UFO cases he is interested in, including his continued effort to help pursue evidence for the 2006 Chicago O’Hare International Airport UFO incident, in which United airlines ground crew, among others, saw a disc shape object punch a hole through the clouds as it took of vertically after hovering over a terminal for several minutes.

Aykroyd even mentions Sam Maranto, the MUFON state director of Illinois, who is leading the ongoing investigation of the O’Hare incident.

Aykroyd says, “[UFOs] is a subject that will affect us all as we go into the future.”

At the end of the video he adds that he is recording the endorsement in Topanga Park, where he says there were several UFO incidents in the 70s. He say they were “beautiful sightings. Very peaceful and benevolent.”

MUFON’s Kickstarter campaign ends in a few days. They still have a long way to go to meet their goal. However, they have had well over 200 donors as of the writing of this article.

UFO mania: New Interview - Astronaut Edgar Mitchell About ETs, Anti Gravity and Shadow Governments

What would happen if the government came out and acknowledged that extra-terrestrials are operating here on planet Earth?

Would society break down and come to a screeching halt overnight, or would things pretty much just carry on, business as usual, with everyone showing up for work on time the day after the announcement?

What would happen to our so-called democracy if the government publicly admitted that the military had fallen under the control of an unaccountable shadowy cabal, who possesses advanced alien technologies? Would people still turn out to vote?

In a recent interview, Apollo 14 astronaut and founder of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, Dr. Edgar Mitchell again gave his remarks on these topics, something he has been doing publicly for a number of years now.

He has participated in many interviews and documentaries, such as the widely-viewed film, Sirius (Dr. Steven Greer, 2013), about the existence and reality of extra-terrestrials and secret energy and propulsion systems.

Also the author of a number of fascinating books, including The Way of the Explorer: An Apollo Astronaut’s Journey Through the Material and Mystical Worlds, Dr. Mitchell is a pioneer in the scientific exploration of consciousness, and his words have impact.

He states with confidence that aliens are real and are here on Earth, that their propulsion and energy technologies are also here and would be available to us, but that a cabal, or shadow government, appears to have control over the military.

Furthermore, the extra-terrestrials here appear to be concerned with the survival of the human race, not its destruction. Dr. Mitchell comments, pointing to events during the cold war where nuclear missiles failed to fire as a result of alien intervention:

• “I haven’t had personal interaction with aliens, however, I know all of the research people, on a first name basis, both in the Unites States and Europe, South America, as a matter of fact in all of the Western world.
  
  “I know, am on a first name basis with, all of the investigators that are working in this area. As far as I can tell, the ones [aliens] that I have seen the most of and know the most about seem to be trying to help us, not harm us or hinder us.” – Dr. Edgar Mitchell

His experience on the Apollo 14 lunar mission in 1971, during which he became the sixth person to walk on the moon’s surface, was of deep spiritual significance to him, changing the course of his life and compelling him to establish one of the world’s leading foundations for research on human consciousness.

Yet, when asked about the existence of a shadow government that has access to the military and advanced technologies, he replies:

“I can’t tell you much about it, except that I agree with you… there seems to be a cabal that knows more about some of this than a lot of us do. Now, I have a little bit of knowledge into it, but not a lot, and that we think our government has people that know all the answers but that’s not necessarily true, and we’re just going to have to wait and see how that all comes out… I’m well aware of the behind-the-scenes work that’s going on, I just can’t put it into a formalized statement of any kind.”  – Dr. Edgar Mitchell

When he speaks about the state of the world, he displays considerable reverence for the environment. He has dedicated his recent years to the study and advocacy of sustainability, looking for progress in the fields of propulsion and zero-point energy production, which he says are the means by which alien races are able to visit planet Earth.

Conclusion

Now in his eighties, Dr. Mitchell’s personal accomplishments and contributions to science will, without question, live on beyond his lifetime, however, his comments on these issues are rather puzzling. How do we connect the dots between what we see happening in our world and what people like Dr. Mitchell say is happening behind the curtains of this illusion?

The information and available opinions on ETs and alien technologies are always left incomplete in similar ways, introducing doubt and offering no concrete proof.

We live in interesting times, and everything is being questioned. For every old cultural “truth”, there are a handful of theories that blow apart any official version of events. UFO mania: Exploring the Truth Behind Crop Circles

Not all crop circles are made by humans. Sure there's plenty that are and you can easily tell.

The differences between ones made by humans and ones made by… well, “not humans” is astounding. The idea of these being created from an other-worldly source is not strange or farfetched at all when you think of the big picture unfolding here on Earth.

Crop circles are all around the world, but majority of them are found in the United Kingdom and around Europe. There are thousands of documented crop circles, and still new ones each day.

Ones that are created by external beings seem to always have a high EMF (electromagnetic field) reading.

The technology that creates the circles always leave behind a strong magnetic force. There are no traces of humans walking around and dragging boards that would create insanely intricate patterns – it’s not possible.

Let’s do some comparisons

So guess where the most crop circles are made? The same place where Stonehenge is located! Putting that connection together blew my mind a bit.

Wiltshire is a country in south west England, home to many intricate, amazing crop circles, as well as many hilarious, drunken farmer looking ones.

The one to the left was taken August 2001, and the one below was taken in June of this year.

The big difference in these designs, (besides the fact that they are NO WHERE near as intricate as ‘real’ ones) is you can clearly see paths that were created from people walking.

In all of the ‘alien made’ crop circle pictures, there is never a trace of someone walking through the field. They are also usually in the middle of the field, rather than right beside the edge.

Next on the list, we have this poorly made crop circle that appeared in Tlapanaloya, Mexico in 2011.  The main circle is suppose to represent the Earth and the smaller one is the moon.

Supposedly, there are two other circles not shown in the picture that are suppose to illustrate objects like a meteor that is approaching the Earth.

Needless to say, this prediction never came to fruition because this crop circle was made by

a few bored people.

Now, let’s explore some mind blowing crop circles

The immense detail that goes into these is unreal. They are filled with sacred geometry, Fibonacci sequences and  aligning patterns that no one could make with any available technology, let alone a plank of wood.

So what’s the point of them? Why are they created? It seems quite clear that they are codes and signals to propel our awakening process. They depict formulas, diagrams and sequences.

They’re created with technology we don’t (publicly) have access to. There are ones of DNA strands, vesica piscis, sacred geometry and that infamous response we got back in 2001.

In 1974, SETI (the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence) sent a transmission from the Arecibo radio telescope. This signal was aimed towards the star cluster M13, some 25,000 light years away.

We sent an image out in the form of binary coding -1s and 0s that made out the shapes of  what humans looked like, our double helix strands, our solar system, numbers one to ten and some formulas.

Years later, we got a reply back that of course was ignored.

The ‘person’ in the picture looks exactly like a typical ‘grey’ alien. They have a single strand of DNA, are around 4 feet tall and inhabit the 3rd, 4th and 5th planets in their solar system.

What’s also incredibly interesting is that a year prior to this message this crop circle was created.

It clearly represents the image shown at the bottom of the aliens transmission, which is their ‘telescope’ or technology for communication. These crop circles are showing us their technology!

The point of these crop circles is an indirect message of telling humanity – yeah, you’re not alone.

Our level of awareness still isn’t at the point where we could handle a full on contact event. Crop circles are helping expand our knowledge of what is possible, it just gets shut down by the media on purpose.

There’s no need to be skeptical, it’s no secret aliens have been in close contact with our governments for some time now, and they know exactly what’s going on.

Our collective consciousness is ready to handle the truth of what’s going on.

Life is full of mysteries we’ve continuously been wanting to solve – well the answers are all here, you just have to recognize them.

Aarde beschermt door onzichtbaar schild...

Rondom de aarde bewegen zich dodelijke elektronen die zich voortbewegen met een snelheid bijna gelijk aan die van het licht.

Hoog boven ons, op een afstand van 11.600 kilometer, bevindt zich een onzichtbaar schild dat de aarde beschermd.

Professor Daniël Baker van de universiteit van Colorado Boulder vergelijkt het met de schilden die in Star Trek worden gecreëerd door krachtvelden en als doel hebben om vijandige wapens tegen te houden. Het verschil met het schild rondom de aarde lijkt te zijn dat deze geen wapens tegenhoudt, maar gevaarlijke elektronen blokkeert.

Het onzichtbare schild is ontdekt in de Van Allen gordels.

De Van Allen-gordels, ook stralingsgordels of deeltjesgordels genoemd, zijn twee gordels van geladen deeltjes rond de aarde. De laagstgelegen, op een afstand van 2000-5000 km, bestaat voornamelijk uit protonen. Deze werd in 1958 ontdekt door de satelliet Explorer 1.

De gordel is vernoemd naar zijn ontdekker James Van Allen, die erop stond dat de satelliet een geigerteller aan boord zou meenemen.

De tweede gordel ligt op een hoogte tussen de 13.000 en 19.000 km en is ongeveer 6000 km dik. Deze gordel bestaat voornamelijk uit elektronen en is door Pioneer 1, 2 en 3 (ook in 1958) ontdekt en in kaart gebracht. De deeltjes in de buitenste Van Allen-gordel zijn afkomstig van de zonnewind, de deeltjes in de binnenste gordel(s) zijn afkomstig van kosmische straling.

Het onzichtbare schild werd vorig jaar ontdekt door professor Baker en zijn team dankzij de twee zogenaamde Van Allen probes.

Dit zijn twee robotachtige ruimteschepen die in 2012 zijn gelanceerd met als specifiek doel onderzoek te doen naar de Van Allen gordels.

Het schild bevindt zich tussen de twee Van Allen gordels en de grootte ervan is variabel en afhankelijk van het weer in de ruimte. Volgens professor Baker lijkt het erop dat het onzichtbare schild de ultrasnelle elektronen blokkeert en dat deze daardoor de aarde niet kunnen bereiken.

“Het lijkt erop alsof deze elektronen als het ware tegen een glazen muur lopen en het is al met al een raadselachtig gebeuren”, zei Baker.

Eerst dacht het team dat deze elektronen die rond de aarde zwerven met een snelheid van meer dan 165.000 kilometer per seconde langzaam zouden afdalen in de atmosfeer van de aarde.

Dankzij de Van Allen Probes weet men nu dat deze elektronen nooit de aarde zullen bereiken omdat ze worden tegengehouden door een voor hen ondoordringbaar schild.

Many Believe On the Existence of Intelligent Extraterrestrials But Many Also Fear on the Possibility of Contacting Bad Alien Civilization

The existence of intelligent life beyond in Earth is being believed by many. Several polls revealed that most people share this belief. But, is it right to contact intelligent aliens?

This question was asked to 1,000 adults in the U.S. as part of a YouGov/Huffington Post survey, which was conducted from July 17 to 19, 2014.

Fifty percent responded that they thought there’s intelligent life on other planets while nineteen percent believe the opposite and thirty-one percent said they were not sure.

Forty-six percent are optimistic about the possibility that humans can make contact with intelligent life on other planets while twenty-tree percent think it is not possible, and thirty-one percent aren’t sure.

While many of those being surveyed are confident about the ability of humans to contact extraterrestrials, many are uneasy about the attempt to contact with alien civilizations. Only thirty-seven percent feel that it is a good idea to attempt in contacting aliens while twenty-seven percent believe that it’s a bad idea, and thirty-six percent were not sure.

The fear of alerting evil alien cultures is the main concern of people about contacting unknown extraterrestrial civilizations. Others think that there are other more important matters that need funding than attempting to contact with extraterrestrials, even if it does work.

Possible Theories Who  Is Involved with the Animal Mutilations ?

To make sense of any problem it is best to try to develop a plan or theory that at least lists the pieces of the problem in order to take a proper look at the problem you are trying to solve or at least better understand.

One area of the unknown that I find repulsive and extremely strange is that of the ongoing revolting issue of animal mutilation. I have been trying to pick out the pieces to see if I can find a path to this puzzle. It is a terrible issue that needs to be solved so that one day it can be stopped.

The most common and well known would be that of cattle mutilation. This has been going on for a very long time all over the  world where cattle can be found cleanly gutted and dropped back to the areas  from which they were taken. It is always a clean kill with out the  remains of an animal attack . They are clean cuts , not chewed or torn  and bloodless . It also is the most researched kind of animal mutilation but certainly not the only type of animal mutilation taking  place. 

Over the years I have read about many different animals found worldwide that have been found in a way that lends to mutilation rather than nature that killed them including the strange cat mutilations leaving cats returned gutted with clean precise cuts. The cats are returned to their owners looking like hand puppets. This strange practice has been recorded worldwide for over 25 years. It is not a local or onetime event it is an epidemic of madness as well as cold cruelty.

As I process what is going on around the world with this issue I realize I am not looking at one issue but more like a few different issues all lost in the convoluted ciaos of a very ugly subject matter. Much like UFO’s or abduction it is not one kind of craft or one kind of abduction being seen or taking place it is a list of different unidentified objects and abduction scenarios that have been all shoved under one title. That thinking and approach keeps us ignorant and far from solving any of these subjects which of course is exactly how the powers that be want it to be. 

Mutilation is suffering from the same ‘thrown in the same pot’ dilemma. Mutilation by name and definition is off putting and terrifying. People do not want to look at it, hear about it, or discuss it. Sadly that is not working as a method of handing it as they continue to happen and that is what we need to address. I have thought about this and admit I do not have any answers however I do have a few theories why they happen. Each circumstance is different yet easily hidden under the one umbrella title as the event in every situation is revolting and something we all would rather not deal with including me.

There may be multiple possible culprits involved with cattle mutilations. In fact I can think of three possibilities and think it is very possible all three are happening in order to use the events of the other sources who are actively doing them too as a cover. It works out well as it is a simple case of blaming the other guy for this repulsive deed as different participants take, slaughter and then dump the dead animal back to the area from which is was taken. Those doing these things can freely go along doing what they are doing with the animals for reasons we may never fully understand knowing that other sources will most likely be blamed, who are also doing it,  which ends with all of the suspects getting away without any repercussions.

 I think it is possible that our own secret or black ops part of our government is tracking possible disease or defects that have infiltrated our food chain by following the cattle ranchers across the country secretly as not to alarm the public or the ranchers or farmers to possible virus or bacteria that may have slipped in to our food chain. Following the cattle ranchers across the country, or world for that matter; to randomly take an animal to quickly slaughter for whatever they need to test in a way that is quickly done by advanced black ops operations. This of course includes throwing the unused body of the cow back down on the ground rather than carrying the weight with them. This could be possibly done by silent black helicopter crafts that have been reported seen by t cattle owners over their land.  Also  it would make sense to dump the remains of the animal especially if they are on a mission where more than one animal is being taken and tested.

 Along the same lines but for different reasons I think other life forms that  may visit this planet also take and experiment on the tissue of the animals found mutilated and also ditch the bodies  especially if they are making the rounds taking cattle from multiple places during one  expedition. I believe it is possible that animals taken by other life forms may be  kept or they may dump the remains in the ocean or deep lakes if they are covering large areas  of the earth during their visit. Sadly I have to include other species of  animals in this thinking many which are simply taken and the remains never seen  again.

Saddest of all I feel humans may be on this list of animals taken from  earth by other life forms. It is true that may be why  only a few remains of  human mutilations were found similar to the same methods that are used on cattle however that  does not mean it is not happening. It could also be part of the huge numbers of  humans that go missing each and every year never to be seen again.I do not think all visiting life forms do these horrible things but I do think there are at least a few who do take our earth animals and do experiment with them. Until we have the answers to who and why these awful crimes are occurring any theory or idea is plausible. The only way to end or answer these questions or to stop these events from continuing is to try to find the answers. If we simply refuse to deal with it, turn our backs on it and ignore it they will not only continue but in my thinking increase in numbers.

Another possibility is that another life form visiting this planet may take and use the interior of the animals as a food source. If that is the case it would make sense for them to dump the remains where they  found the animal as it would most likely only take them minutes to remove what they wanted from the animal. It would be the same as when we cut up a chicken or trim any type of meat or fish before cooking. We  throw out the  parts we do not want or use  too. I am sure once they take what they eat or use they would want to quickly dump the remains they do not need or use. Hunters in the wild  often do this leaving what they do not want for other animals to  salvage. This may be the thinking in dumping the dead carcass.

We have many secret labs in this country doing secret projects that may need the biological material of living creatures to advance the projects they are working on. Taking what they want from the animals while using small black ops silent helicopters would also explain the dumping of the heavy dead animals instead of trying to transport the added weight in flight. The projects these secret labs work on is as endless as ones imagination and surely part of the taking of and mutilation of animals found across the nation. It is much easier for this kind of secret operations to simply steal or take the animals they need and far cheaper than keeping and raising animals especially if they want what they are doing to be kept under wraps and away from public eyes.

Plum Island a small island located off of the tip of Long Island New York is one of the places that I believe did this type of operation. I believe not only did they experiment on animals I believe they used humans as well. As horrible as this may sound these things do take place. Believing your government would make sure something like this would never happen is truly naive. Not only do they know these things take place they fund them with your tax dollars!

 I am sure the above scenarios can be some of if not all reasons for the strange mutilation of our large farm animals across the  world. I am sad it takes place as it is something that I feel falls under the  loss of our moral compass as a society. I say this as I do feel humans  are partly to blame for some of these activities as well as aware that our  governments know other life forms may be involved and do utterly nothing to stop it. If it is cruel in my  mind it just is not cool. That is my thinking and I intend to stick with it.

Lastly the issue of the half cat killings is something I once again must address due to the fact no one at all seems to care or be concerned about it.

I know that there have been strange people for many years who have lived in all our towns that would take cats out in the woods and kill them for some kind of thrill. I am not referring to those crazy buggers when I talk about cat mutilation . I am talking about something far worse and without question you need to know is happening regardless of your opinion of cats or if you own one. 

The fact that something very sick, that kills living things and does so with malice by throwing the murdering of the poor innocent animals back in our faces is something we all need to know. What happens if this strangeness progresses to dogs, children or simply humans? The time to stop this nasty situation is now. The fact it has been going on for decades with only a shrug of the shoulders by society is just plain weird to me.

The cat mutilations are not part of the other animal mutilations due to the fact they are done in a way that is specific to the cats and by something that is extremely brazen and cruel. 

Cats are removed from peoples yards meaning someone or something enters a private home or private area where the cat belongs and takes the cat away from the property where they slaughter and clean out the cat internally completely clean. They then reenter the private property where they took the cat and leave half of the dead cat which has been cut in half across the center of the cat leaving a clean bloodless usually top part of the cats front paws and head which looks like a little cat puppet. The owners are heartbroken and terrified knowing someone or something entered their private property took their pets and then came back to return this eerie dead half cat puppet like carcass of their beloved pet.

I have gut feeling that the cat mutilation cases are something extremely sinister and being done by something very black and dangerous to us all.

I do not know or even want to venture in to why this is being done but I do think it is something we all need to watch out for in our neighborhoods and should make those around our community aware that these things are taking place. I believe that if we join together in finding answers and maybe if we unite together we may find solutions so we can stop all of these disturbing events.  I am not a fan of secret ops that hurt and destroy nor am I a fan of looking the other way while possible life forms from other places use us for experiment, food or curiosity.

 My hopes is that we start to stand together on issues on this earth including the most difficult of all which is killing each other and start to climb the ladder of evolution and begin to move forward. I know we are the primitive ones of our universal neighborhood and can only try to convince you all it is time for us to step up our game and become aware and daring enough to want things we find revolting to end instead of simply just looking away.

Boomerang UFO Zigzags Over NH

UFO sightings don't always get media attention immediately after they occur. When they do, however, those stories are often packed with surprises, even for an old man like me, who has been reporting on these things for decades.

I have written about pilots, for example, who rarely speak out about UFO encounters out of fear of ridicule. After all, who wants to fly with a pilot who "sees things" in the sky? That's a career killer.

That's just one reason timing isn't all that important in my line of work. The real question is the evidence, and that largely comes down to a witness's credibility.

Is there a photograph or a video? Can that account be corroborated? If the answer to either of those questions is yes, it doesn't matter if the sighting was a week ago or a year ago. Suddenly, it's an unexplained phenomena.

I recently stumbled upon such a story. And it began with a personal surprise.

The UFO part of the tale started around 8 p.m. on Oct. 5. In the rural north end of Concord, New Hampshire, Ben Speigel was hanging around with a neighborhood friend when something caught their attention in the distance above some trees.

As it turns out, 15-year-old Speigel is my nephew. While I was in New Hampshire earlier this month, he casually mentioned that he may have seen a UFO in October. When I asked him to describe it, he did better than that. He showed me a picture he took of the thing. And that got me real interested.

"We saw what looked like a bright orb in the sky and something that we thought was a helicopter seemed to be following it," Ben told me.

"We didn't know what it was and I took a picture of it on my iPod. When I zoomed in, we could see that it was a V-shape. It was probably as bright as when you look at a plane that blinks, but this wasn't blinking. There was a red light blinking on and off [some distance away from the object] and that's what made us think it was a helicopter."

Ben (pictured at left) was struck by how odd this thing moved.

"It was zigzagging across the sky, not fast, but it kept going back and forth. It made a turn and went up and then down and then back and forth again. As it was circling around, it went up and circled again. The object just finally disappeared behind the trees (shown below) and we didn't see it anymore. The whole sighting lasted about five minutes."

After telling me the story, Ben and I sat at the computer to see if anyone else in Concord or other town may have reported the same object. We found one other account.

An hour after Ben's sighting, and 30 miles south in Nashua, New Hampshire, a family traveling in their car, en route to their home, saw a boomerang-shaped object, with three white bright lights and two smaller, amber colored-lights on the bottom of it.

"We were heading west toward the Everett Turnpike when I spotted a twinkle high up in the sky," Nashua resident Jim Bowe told me last week. "At first glance, you'd think it was just a star, but it was slightly larger than the stars further behind it, and I thought that was weird. My wife and I were watching it and when we turned north, we lost sight of it for a second, and then, there it was again, just above the highway.

"My wife and son kept watching it while I was driving, and it eventually appeared to be just above the treetops, and traveling no more than 30 or 40 mph, because we were doing 50 and we could see it moving slowly, just in front of us. Then, as we drove under it, we could still see it moving over the trees, making no sound whatsoever."

Bowe, 49, recalled how the object was illuminated.

"The lights on this thing were perfectly round and shaped like domes. They were situated at the point -- the nose -- with one on each end of the wings. The lights didn't blink or change, they were just a steady, constant brightness. And there were no red or green marker lights, like you'd see on regular aircraft. My wife said she saw amber colors on each tip, right next to the big dome lights."

The first thing Bowe did after arriving home was to sketch the object, then showed it to his older son, John, who created a computer rendering of the UFO. (See image below)

To follow up the sighting, Bowe did two other things. First, he called the nearby Nashua airport.

"I asked them if they could provide me with flight times of planes coming in and out of there and what directions they were going in. I got an email back, saying, 'we're sorry, but at that time of the night, there was nobody here, so we don't have any records.' There was no one on duty at the time [of the sighting]."

The next thing Bowe did was to file a report with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), who turned the case over to NH field investigator Mark Podell. He told HuffPost he thinks this most likely has an Earth-based explanation: "I've studied aircraft and propulsion systems for 25 years. I think this sighting adds up to it being a man-made, possibly stealth aircraft that has abilities that most people are not aware of."

Bowe respectfully disagrees with that assessment.

"I think it was extraterrestrial, in my personal opinion. From what I witnessed, I've never seen a craft that could do that -- being that big -- float by without falling out of the sky and not making a sound. It wasn't a blimp or a drone. I estimated the size of it. The wings were about the size of two tour buses -- that's how big this was over the trees."

As with the earlier UFO sighting in Concord (see map below showing the distance between Concord and Nashua), the Bowe incident lasted around five minutes before the object left, heading east above the trees.

Back in Concord, Ben hesitated to speculate on what he thinks he photographed that night.

"It was a UFO, an unidentified flying object. I didn't know what to think -- it was just there."

The fact that my nephew was one of the witnesses of this object doesn't affect the overall reliability of the report, other than the notion that I can personally attest for his credibility, and that counts for something.

Another important thing is that Ben is the only person who photographed the object, and in UFO cases, the credibility of any images is paramount to the story.

MUFON is continuing its investigation of the New Hampshire boomerang.

NASA releases actual recordings from space — and they’re absolutely breathtaking

Earlier this year, Lefse Records released The Space Project, in which acts like Beach House, Spiritualized, The Antlers, and more used actual recordings from the Voyager space probe to create songs and soundscapes. Though a neat gimmick, with some intriguing submissions, the resulting album didn’t necessarily reflect the true sonic aesthetic of our solar system. For that, we turn to NASA, who has shared actual electromagnetic recordings taken from throughout our very own solar system.

No one may be able to hear you scream in space, but that whole great, black abyss miles above our heads is just teeming with noises. From the brooding, slightly ambient rumblings of Saturn and its rings to the more romantic Neptune, which sounds like sitting on a back porch in Tennesse in mid-July, our solar system’s soundtrack is as emotionally-nuanced as it is almost cinematic. Just wait till you hear what Uranus sounds like, though.
