This isn't the first video recording of an unidentified object, but documents of this sort are always impressive. On February 10, 2015, user Eduardo Chavez Guerra uploaded this video to YouTube showing a strange even. He was taping a television show in a district of Lima, Perú, when a strange object appeared in the recording.
This is so strange. While Melba Ketchum like to point out this skull as more evidence of more hybridization, what’s shocking are the bullet holes in this! According to the website, Ancient Origins, this skull was discovered over a hundred years ago by a Swiss miner:
was searching for metal ore deposits in the limestone caves of Kabwe, Zambia, when he found an ancient skull that dated back to between 125,000 and 300,000 years. It was the first fossil to be discovered in Africa with Homo sapiens characteristics. But there was an even bigger surprise – the skull had a small, circular shaped hole on the side, which forensic scientists say could only have been created by an extremely high-velocity projectile, such as that caused by a bullet. The mystery was compounded by the discovery of an ancient auroch skull with exactly the same feature. The discoveries have led to many wild and wonderful speculations, but we are really no closer to solving the puzzle.
Freedom of Information requests lodged by two Melbourne scientists have revealed UFOs may be more active in Australian airspace than many people thought. Paul Dean and Keith Basterfield were so fascinated by an Australian Transport Safety Bureau ATSB report into an incident near Perth, on March 19 last year; they lodged a FOI request with Air Services Australia asking for information on recent cases of unexplained objects in our skies. When the response returned details of 13 incidents in the past seven years they were stunned. “At about 3800 ft above mean sea level, the crew sighted a bright strobe light directly in front of the aircraft,” a report into the March 19 Perth incident stated. “The light appeared to track towards the aircraft and the crew realised that the light was on an unknown object, possibly an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). “The pilot reported that the object was cylindrical in shape and grey in colour.” The pilot was forced to take evasive action to avoid crashing into the object. Another incident involved a missile-like object dropping from the sky. “(Flight) XKI (DH8C) reported a foreign object of approximate size (1 metre) within close proximity (50ft) of the aircraft causing them to level out briefly as the object passed left hand side,” an Airservices Australia pilot said: Pilot reported observation at 6800 ft.” In another incident last January a pilot reported seeing “something hovering…which then disappeared.” In September 2012 flight “TGW581 reported a red cylindrical object passing the aircraft in the opposite direction when climbing through FL200 approximately 20nm miles south of Sydney.” On April 25, 2010 near Mt Jerrabomberra in NSW an “Unidentified (upside down pyramid shaped) object drifting close to final rwy 35 … Initially drifted west, towards final for rwy 35, before climbing and drifting to the Northeast.” “Two aircraft (QFA814 and VOZ259) were diverted through noise abatement areas to avoid the object.”

Two South Carolina witnesses at McCornick reported watching a circle-shaped, translucent object that slowly moved across the sky, according to testimony in Case 63235 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The husband and wife were fishing on Clarkshill Lake – also known as Lake Strom Thurmond – when the object was first noticed. The reporting witness looked away from a contrail in the sky – and then back again – and noticed something to the right of the contrail.
“I could see the whole right side of object, but it was translucent,” the witness stated. “The left side was completely transparent. I could make out the outline of the right side with a pattern on the inside. It must have been tilted because I could make out the whole right side of the circular object.”

The witness pointed out the object to her husband.
“I said to my husband, look there is an object, but I knew he would not be able to see it unless his eyes were already fixed on the object. After pointing to the object and telling him it’s to the right of contrail it went completely transparent.”
The witness described the object.
“The object appeared to be very slowly moving to the left of contrail when it went completely transparent. I was completely in awe that I finally had witnessed what I know was a UFO. I have always been a believer and hoped that one day I would witness such an event.”
The witness will continue to watch the skies for future events.

Lake Strom Thurmond, also known as Clarks Hill Lake, is a reservoir at the border between Georgia and South Carolina in the Savannah River Basin. The lake is about 27 miles northwest of Augusta, GA.
South Carolina is currently a UFO Alert Level 5 – with 0.42 sightings per million population based on MUFON January 2015 statistics. South Carolina received a total of two UFO reports in January.
The UFO Alert Rating System is based on five levels – 1 through 5 – where states with 4.01 or higher reports per million residents are rated an Alert 1; 3.01 – 4.0 reports are an Alert 2; 2.51 – 3.0 are an Alert 3; 2.01 – 2.5 are an Alert 4; and those states with 2.0 or lower are rated an Alert 5.

President Obama’s top advisor has issued a statement that UFO enthusiasts believe a major hint of the presence of space aliens and that the government has been in contact with them.
Self-described curious sceptic on UFO topic, outgoing aide John Podesta, appears regretful for not securing the disclosure of UFO files once again.
Podesta’s tweet has shocked the UFO world. UFO experts, including Steve Bassett, have described the statement as very significant.
He tweets “Finally, my biggest failure of 2014: Once again not securing the #disclosure of the UFO files. #thetruthisstilloutthere cc: @NYTimesDowd.”
UFO believers suggest that 2015 might be the disclosure year when governments admit that alien exist and they have been in contact with these ETs.
A joke or a serious tweet, it has brought back rumours that the U.S. government will come clean. Many people today will not going to ask if aliens are real, but when will aliens coming to see mankind.
Some believers would answer this question by saying that aliens are already on Earth for a very long time. Many think that a significant event related to this subject is about to happen here on planet Earth.
One thing is sure as of today; the truth is out there. At least this is what UFO enthusiasts have been believing.

NASA astronauts who have bravely violated nondisclosure agreements to discuss the technologies of the alien craft that almost all of them have encountered during the course of their missions are patently dismissed .

You're not a singularity of cynicism; there are also many others.
A leap in consciousness will require a scuttling of your beliefs about the nature of reality; to live unburdened by an insatiable curiosity to comprehend the mysteries of the universe and UFO pilots motives, on Earth, is quite an amazing thing, in itself. As one abductee cogently wrote:

Dr. Gary Ignacio and his wife, Phyllis, were boating on North Conway Lake, in New Hampshire, near the North Conway mines, on Friday May 13, 1998.
They had both paddled into a deep hidden green canyon, entering between enormous boulders which formed a narrow granite gateway.
They had been there before and had made love in the windblown wild flowers in a unvisited field.

Two large, shiny, round craft floated on the water just beyond the narrow entrance to the cove.
What he had seen was so unbelievable that his jaw had fallen wide open despite himself; he had scrambled down to get his wife.
It had been his expression more than his silence.
His slack jaw and wide eyes more than anything else had persuaded her to quickly follow him back up the steep climb for a look at what had transfixed his face so.

The hoop was rotating once more, operated by a creature standing below it, who wore a small, scarlet head covering.
All of the being entities were small and had worn close-fitting dark suits and blue helmets.
One creature had placed a shiny green hose in the water, drawing in water and at the same time had discharged something from another hose.
Again the hoop had stopped and all the figures had frozen.
They had stared toward the couple on the rock.
Husband and wife had ducked and had counted to thirty before they had inched up for another look.
Two hours later, dazed and confused, missing time, the couple had ambled back into their boat and had headed for home.
They had both been grim faced and neither one had spoken for the whole trip back, and the further they had traveled from the lake, the more their amnesia of the incident had grown.
He had awoken, that evening, in a sweat from a nightmare.
The stars seen from his window had been bright against the blackness of the night sky.
That night, as his son had slept, he had stolen into the bedroom and had removed three books by J.M.Barrie; he had felt strongly protective and oddly repulsed by the idea of Peter Pan, a never-aging figure who comes down from the sky and floats children out of their bedroom, accompanied by a little ball of light: Tinkerbell.

Quantum mechanics, though firmly tested, is so weird and anti-intuitive that famed physicist Richard Feynman once remarked, “I think I can safely say that nobody understands quantum mechanics.” Attempts to explain some of the bizarre consequences of quantum theory have led to some mind-bending ideas, such as the Copenhagen interpretation and the many-worlds interpretation.
Now there’s a new theory on the block, called the “many interacting worlds” hypothesis (MIW), and the idea is just as profound as it sounds. The theory suggests not only that parallel worlds exist, but that they interact with our world on the quantum level and are thus detectable. Though still speculative, the theory may help to finally explain some of the bizarre consequences inherent in quantum mechanics, reports RT.com.
The theory is a spin-off of the many-worlds interpretation in quantum mechanics — an idea that posits that all possible alternative histories and futures are real, each representing an actual, though parallel, world. One problem with the many-worlds interpretation, however, has been that it is fundamentally untestable, since observations can only be made in our world. Happenings in these proposed “parallel” worlds can thus only be imagined.
MIW, however, says otherwise. It suggests that parallel worlds can interact on the quantum level, and in fact that they do.
“The idea of parallel universes in quantum mechanics has been around since 1957,” explained Howard Wiseman, a physicist at Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia, and one of the physicists to come up with MIW. “In the well-known ‘Many-Worlds Interpretation’, each universe branches into a bunch of new universes every time a quantum measurement is made. All possibilities are therefore realised – in some universes the dinosaur-killing asteroid missed Earth. In others, Australia was colonised by the Portuguese.”
“But critics question the reality of these other universes, since they do not influence our universe at all,” he added. “On this score, our “Many Interacting Worlds” approach is completely different, as its name implies.”
Wiseman and colleagues have proposed that there exists “a universal force of repulsion between ‘nearby’ (i.e. similar) worlds, which tends to make them more dissimilar.” Quantum effects can be explained by factoring in this force, they propose.
Whether or not the math holds true will be the ultimate test for this theory. Does it or does it not properly predict quantum effects mathematically? But the theory is certain to provide plenty of fodder for the imagination.
For instance, when asked about whether their theory might entail the possibility that humans could someday interact with other worlds, Wiseman said: “It’s not part of our theory. But the idea of [human] interactions with other universes is no longer pure fantasy.”

It was 1964. Late at night. The Northern California man had lost his hunting buddies in the woods near Lake Tahoe and climbed a tree to sleep.
Awakened by a glowing object landing on a nearby ridge, the man was soon fighting for his life against two neckless creatures and a robot before the beings emitted a noxious gas and knocked him out.
A tall tale? Drunken binge? Drug-induced hallucination (it was the '60s, after all)? No matter. That Placer County UFO sighting and thousands more were studiously collected and meticulously researched as part of the Air Force's strange, long-shuttered Project BLUE BOOK, a government program on the hunt for little green men -- or perhaps Soviet spies; no one is saying for sure.
For 22 years, the military seemed to spare little expense in chronicling humans' reported otherworldly encounters with glowing orbs, spinning spheres, flying ice cream cones, and more.
All of it had been hidden away in archive files until a UFO enthusiast posted 130,000 documents worth of BLUE BOOK material in a free online database for the first time last month. Dozens of Bay Area close encounters were included in the trove.
The project launched in 1947, two years after the end of World War II and just as the Cold War was gearing up. It concluded in 1969 without offering definitive proof of either aliens visiting Mother Earth or advanced spycraft launched by our enemies. But the goldmine of reports -- witness names redacted -- provides a snapshot of a nervous, suspicious era that drove our government to consider even the most fanciful reports.
"UFO investigations were taken very seriously," said Alejandro Rojas, editor of Open Minds magazine, who points to a 1947 report of an unidentified flying object near Mt. Rainier in Washington by private pilot Kenneth Arnold as the mother of modern UFO sightings.
"He was a credible person, and it hit the press and became a really, really big story," Rojas said.
Add a dash of post-war paranoia, and the Air Force dove in head first, he said.
"The public's imagination went wild with (UFOs)," agreed Jeff Underwood, historian of the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. "It was a serious attempt to find if there was any validity to a UFO crisis or just mass hysteria.
"For the Air Force, it was driven more over concerns the Soviets created a super secret weapon than if there were little green men," he said.
In the end, many of the more than 12,000 sightings diligently investigated by the Air Force were chalked up to weather phenomena, meteors, satellites, a bright planet, balloons, birds or overactive imaginations.
The latter category would seem to fit the story told in 1964 by the lost hunter near Lake Tahoe, who swore he spent the night in a tree, firing arrows at three white "robot"-looking creatures, setting scraps of his clothing afire and hurling the pieces at the glowing aliens below.
Although the BLUE BOOK documents suggest the military's time commitment was considerable, it wasn't enough to please everyone. In 1966, then-Michigan congressman and future president Gerald Ford complained that the Air Force was dismissing scores of UFO sightings from his constituents as "swamp gas," and called for a Congressional inquiry into the phenomena.
He wasn't the only famous politician to get an earful from his constituents about UFOs. In a letter to President John F. Kennedy, 63-year-old Alice Reynolds of San Mateo said she was out feeding bread to the birds when she saw two stationary white balls, one with a tail, in the early morning sky on Nov. 13, 1961.
She complained that she tried to contact the Civil Defense Control Center in Belmont, but it wasn't open, so she called the police: "They were more curious as to why I (was) up at that time than what I called about," she wrote to the president.
The UFO witnesses ranged from grandmothers to amateur astronomers and even military pilots, who should have known a weather balloon when they saw one.
Several reports included sketches, charts and purported photographs of the objects.
Bay Area newspapers had a field day with one mysterious craft spotted by dozens of people as it drifted over the region on Feb. 7, 1950, including two nurses who swore they were "non-drinkers."
"Flying 'Ice Cream Cone' Reported Over Alameda," a San Francisco Chronicle headline screamed. The article featured a cartoon drawing of the flying confection with a Navy officer looking through binoculars yelling "Vanilla!" while a young boy said: "I say it's chocolate!"
A San Jose man eventually wrote to the Air Force explaining that his own close look at the object revealed a single-engine airplane with a reddish vapor trail behind it. Mystery solved, concluded investigators.
Popular culture drove the reports, Underwood said, and it ultimately slowed them down in the late 1960s.
"As soon as Star Trek started, I lost interest in UFOs," he laughed.
He wasn't alone. On Dec. 17, 1969, the Air Force terminated the project, citing conclusions from a University of Colorado report titled, "Scientific Study of Unidentified Flying Objects." Researchers determined there was no threat to national security, additional scientific knowledge or extraterrestrial vehicles uncovered by Project BLUE BOOK. However, 701 sightings remain "unidentified."

‘Alien’ Image Raises Questions of the Terrestrial Kind
There has been a lot of buzz in recent weeks about what are being called “the Roswell slides,” a series of Kodachrome images recovered by a group of UFO researchers that include Don Schmitt, Tom Carey and Adam Dew. The images purportedly show an extraterrestrial biological entity, and there are some insinuations (well, several) that the creature is also somehow related to the Roswell Incident of 1947, and that the film stock matches the same period.
Among the recent announcements about this strange affair is that a press conference will be held in May that will feature the images publicly, along with more details about their backstory and possible implications.
Even more recently, however, one of the purported images has now appeared online, as my colleague Nick Redfern had pointed out in an article featured here at MU, where he offered only this on the matter:
“Of course, now, and as of a couple of days ago, you can see one of the images right here. What it shows, I don’t know. Many who have looked at it are underwhelmed. From what I see too, I can’t say I’m particularly excited either.”
I certainly don’t mean to be unfairly critical of the matter, since I don’t have the full back story on it at present, and few of us in the research community will have that story, apart from those directly involved with the purported “find”, at least until later this year.
However, if I had to base my expectations on the history of claims very similar to these–and their obvious dubious nature–I would have to agree with Nick that this is not particularly exciting. If anything, I would say that if the photo linked above (in Nick’s excerpt) is indeed one of the slides the group will be showcasing in May, then I am already beyond skeptical.
Now let me explain why.
The comments thread on the post Nick links to (which takes us to the UFO Conjecture(s) blog) also includes a link to a German language forum, which includes the original photo from which the “alien” image was taken. That image is a still capture from a trailer that had already been circulating the web, which actually depicts one of the slides in question as it is being examined (that image also presents a better context for the otherwise blurry image of the supposed “alien”, and I recommend viewing it here if you haven’t seen it already).
Looking at the image, the first thing I thought of (despite the blurriness of the picture) had been that the body of the purported “alien” bears strong resemblance to a child born with hydrocephalus, an abnormal condition where the amount of cerebrospinal fluid flowing to the brain increases, either due to the brain producing too much of it, or perhaps due to a blockage, or an absorption problem with the blood vessels in the region of the body. This often leads to swelling of the brain, and thus, an enlarged cranium with the infants in question (although the condition is not exclusive to infancy).
An undated photograph (described only as “very old”) from the archives of the University of Rochester shows a more extreme example of the condition in an infant, as depicted at the Wikipedia entry for Hydrocephalus:
An online image search will offer even more extreme examples of the condition than what we’ve featured above, but for illustrative purposes this image does give readers an idea of the physical appearance of an infant afflicted with the condition.
One thing we know about the purported “Roswell slides”, as written about by researcher Kevin Randle, is that there are still questions about who took the photos, and where… but that, at very least, the names of the individuals who had owned the images are indeed well known. Randle notes:
Tom (Carey) says something that I’m not sure he is going to be able to retreat from and I’m surprised that it was in the video clip. He said, “…We don’t know where the picture was taken. It’s taken indoors [so Ray or whoever, didn’t stumble across the body in the desert]… We don’t know exactly what circumstances the photographer was being a part of to take those pictures.”
They don’t know who took the pictures, only that they were found as a house was being prepared for an estate sale. The house had been owned by Bernerd and Hilda Ray and was in a collection of slides from the late 1940s and 1950s. They don’t seem to know who took the pictures or when they were taken or how Ray ended up with them and with that, the trail grows cold.
Coming back to the article at the UFO Conjecture(s) blog that features the photo, another commenter on the thread below the image notes something that is very interesting, although little background data is presented to support it. Nonetheless, I feel it is relevant to the present controversy, and submit it now for the reader’s consideration:
Hi, this is a photograph taken at a local museum in Colombia. The Rays were great travelers. We see the leg and the bottom of the skirt of a woman in the reflection of the glass. The arms of the creature are short, it is probably a child. It is well known that the EBE arms are long and come up to the knees. It is also possible that these two photographs have never been discovered in the trunk in the attic, but adds after. Moreover if we removed the idea that these two photographs were hidden in the lining of the chest, it completely changes the interest of this story. These are just pictures of the trip.
Colombia is cited as the (very general) location here, due to the belief that Bernard and Hilda Ray, whose former home had been the source of the discovery of these slides, had been travelers who might have visited a museum in that country, or perhaps some other country in Latin America, during the 1940s or 50s. Similar discussions about this possible connection have been brought up in commentaries that appear at the Paracast Forums, as well as an update that appeared on Tuesday, again at Kevin Randle’s blog. In that post, Randle features comparisons with a small human body provided to him by Gilles Fernandez, which “shows a small body that looks similar to that in the slide.”
Honestly, the image we have of the purported “alien” which researchers Schmitt, Carey and others are touting as final “proof” of an extraterrestrial body found at Roswell appears to be anythingbut. There is no need for harsh criticism here, although in the opinion of this researcher, a few questions that follow philosophical logic are warranted:
1) How can anything appearing solely in a series of photographs, without a physical specimen to match, offer “proof” that would meet the requirements of science? No biologist, chemist, or physicist would look at a photograph–blurry or not–as being representative of good, physical evidence.
2) Much like the argument with regard to the “Atacama Humanoid” featured in Stephen Greer’s documentary Sirius, how would anything that was discovered on Earth, let alone something so obviously resembling mummified human remains, offer “proof” of extraterrestrials? What evidence can conclusively present any connection between the two? At least with “Ata,” we had a physical specimen (Note that, as many reading this will already be aware, the Atacama humanoid was proven, despite apparent anomalies, to be human.)
3) When confronted with extraordinary claims of “alien life,” logic would further dictate, rather than making un-objective guesses that exert a bias equivalent to wish fulfillment, that prosaic explanations would be offered instead, and, if deemed necessary, either accepted or ruled out before leaping to otherwise illogical presumptions (Example: in likelihood, this image shows a case of hydrocephalus, rather than an alien being for which we can account for no known organism (i.e. an alien) against which we can make such an illogical comparison).
The problems here are indeed many, and in likelihood, from what we’re seeing already, the Roswell slides probably aren’t going to present that “smoking gun” that many in the UFO community have been long hoping for.
A man, who identifies himself as Martyn, said he spotted a UFO in Leeds. This sighting happened after a bright circular object was caught on video from the sky in a neighbouring city a day before.
The witness said that he noticed a brilliant white light at around 6:30 in the evening on February 8 at Kippax, Leeds. He said that the unusual aerial object changed in colours, which brought excitement to him while he was also overwhelmed by the sighting. He wanted to continue observing the odd aerial object, but he also thought of his wife who was waiting for him.
He said that his wife, as well as her brother, believed him when he told about his sighting. He said that his wife didn’t see any reason he would lie.
The images taken by Martyn look like a circular object caught by another person a day before in Bradford. But that was not the first time Martyn saw a UFO.
Martyn said he saw a bright light on 14 August 2014 at around 11 in the evening above the M62, heading towards the A1 in Castleford/Pontefract.
He said that he found a bright light while driving together with his partner’s brother. They tried to know if the object was moving, but it was hard for them because they were driving.
They concluded, however, that the object was moving slowly. They both believed right there that they saw something unusual and convinced that it was not a plane. Martyn said that they could distinguish an aircraft from a UFO because there were many planes in the area too. Martyn added that the object was not moving fast enough to be considered as a plane. The object then ascended and disappeared after two or three seconds.
Amateur astronomers have spotted two strange, cloud-like plumes high over Mars, deepening the mystery of what constitutes the Red Planet’s atmosphere, a study said Monday.
The phenomenon was observed on March 12, 2012 over the “terminator”, the boundary between day and night on Mars. A second was spotted nearby on April 6, 2012, and lasted about 10 days
One of the plumes developed in around 10 hours and lasted for about 11 days, shifting shape from “double blob protrusions” to pillars which merged into a “finger”, the study authors wrote.
Their trails were vast, extending between 500 and 1,000 kilometers (300 to 600 miles).
According to AFP, the “clouds” — if that is indeed what they were — were seen at high altitude, at about 200-250 kilometres, roughly above Terra Cimmeria, which is part of Mars’ rugged southern highlands, according a paper published in the journal Nature Geoscience by a team led by Agustin Sanchez-Lavega of the University of the Basque Country in Bilbao, Spain.
In the video, use the zoom and filters. The object is illuminated by the sun. The sun rises over the horizon of the Earth. A piece of coal retrieved from a mine in Chernogorodskly Mines in between China, North Korea and the Sea of Japan. It appeared to have something embedded in it. Source:Initial examination of the strange object led researchers to assert it looked “very much like a toothed metal rail, created artificially. It was like parts [that] are often used in microscopes, various technical and electronic devices,” wrote Komsomolskaya Pravda (resident).
The coal in this area is dated to around 300,000,000 years ago in its formation.
The Pennsylvanian coal came from the Chernogorodskiy mines from the Khakasis region north of Mongolia.2 According to international Russian news sourceKomsomolskaya Pravda, biologist Valery Brier helped analyze the odd-shaped object. X-ray diffraction revealed that it was mostly aluminum with about two to four percent magnesium. This unique alloy is not generally produced today. And Brier noted that refined aluminum implies high technology.
This is not the only out of place/out of time artifact found in coal. The problem is, for some reason Creationists are using it to prove that the earth is not as old as we thought (sigh).
Source:Standard dating of the bituminous coal seam from which it was taken dates it from the Carboniferous Period, approximately 300 million years old. Certainly no human artifact could reside in such “ancient” strata. This “fossil” is anomalous indeed.
The boy who found it in the 1940s discovered it while shoveling coal into his home's furnace. One chunk, about 15 inches by 20 inches in area and 6 inches thick, was too large, and when he broke it a metal object protruded. Diligence completely removed all coal from the bell, which had a two-inch stem between the bell and a “human-like” figure on top–a man in a kneeling position, with arms and wings. Records show the coal had been excavated from a shallow mine near his home in Buckhannon, West Virginia.
The discoverer attended an ICR seminar in the mid 1970s with his amazing find. I asked if ICR could perform some tests on it. It migrated with me to Oklahoma University in 1975, where I remained on the faculty until 1984 and had access to numerous analytical devices and experts in several fields to help analyze the bell.
Nuclear Activation Analysis determined it to be primarily of bronze with a curious admixture of zinc. A micro probe showed no residual traces of coal. Historians compared the bell to artifacts from “all” cultures, and concluded the most similar artifact was from ancient Babel, with the figurine representing a pagan god. Both have a “horn” (broken on the bell) and wings. The face on both is eerily similar. A convention of bell experts did not know its place of origin, although some felt there was a similarity to semi-ancient bells made in India. Their suggestion was that some early American dropped a foreign bell down a well, to be incorporated into the coal.

A man named John Williams was out hiking in the 1990s and kicked a rock, then noticed something odd about it. It had prongs sticking out of it like a connector. Details are vague on this, but it is said that the prongs do not appear to be stone or metal, but something unknown.
Source:In June 1936 (or 1934 according to some accounts), Max Hahn and his wife Emma were on a walk when they noticed a rock with wood protruding from its core. They decided to take the oddity home and later cracked it open with a hammer and a chisel. Ironically, what they found within seemed to be an archaic hammer of sorts. A team of archaeologists checked it, and as it turns out, the rock encasing the hammer was dated back more than 400 million year; the hammer itself turned out to be more than 500 million years old. Additionally, a section of the handle has begun the transformation to coal. The hammer’s head, made of more than 96% iron, is far more pure than anything nature could have achieved without an assist from modern technology.

A possible explanation for these out of time/out of place items is this -
Source:As noted by Mark Isaac: “The cup appears to be cast iron, and cast iron technology began in the eighteenth century. Its design is much like pots used to hold molten metals and may have been used by a tinsmith, tinker, or person casting bullets… The cup was likely dropped by a worker either inside a coal mine or in a mine's surface workings. Mineralization is common in the coal and surrounding debris of coal mines because rainwater reacts with the newly exposed minerals and produces highly mineralized solutions. Coal, sediments, and rocks are commonly cemented together in just a few years. It could easily appear that a pot cemented in such a concretion could appear superficially as if it were encased in the original coal. Or small pieces of coal, including powder, could have been recompressed around the cup by weight (Isaac, 2005).
While this is a fairly reasonable explanation, these objects need(ed) serious observation closely to see just how much of the material around them varied to show layers of mineralization versus serious compressed coal or rock over millions of years. Considering the claims of very “Egyptian” looking items in the Grand Canyon and Death Valley giants' cave finds, one has to wonder about the style of these items and their origins, especially from a people who used a style Egyptians and Asians likely fashioned their own styles after and who were known as miners. I am intrigued, but I am not sold easy, so I will continue to follow such finds and report. As always, I am providing links below to go on your own excursion and learn more.
Since the 1940s, the U.S. Air Force has kept records of all of its investigations into extraterrestrial phenomena in one extensive report called Project Blue Book. This massive catalog of thousands of UFO and extraterrestrial reports from the 1940s to the 1970s has just been released online. The UFO enthusiast John Greenwald is the man responsible for bringing these UFO documents to the public. He’s spent the last decade collecting and digitizing the files through his web site The Black Vault. Greenewald believes these documents are only the “tip of the iceberg with what the military and U.S. government is hiding behind the UFO phenomenon, [though] they claim that this is it,” Greenewald says. But there are thousands of documents missing from the files including the infamous Roswell UFO incident.
