Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

New details have emerged shedding light on a spate of mysterious UFO and alien sightings which gripped a West Wales community almost 40 years ago.
Dubbed the 1977 Broad Haven Triangle mystery, conspiracy theories went into overdrive when reports emerged that 14 pupils from Broad Haven primary school had seen a UFO landing in Pembrokeshire.
The head teacher at the time backed up their claims, saying they had all drawn similar pictures of the craft.
Many others reported being petrified by a strange silver alien.
Now a new novel claims to have revealed details of a declassified MoD document which suggests top-ranking officials carried out a covert inquiry into the mysterious activities.

'Archive evidence'
The Watchers by Neil Spring is said to be based on “true events” and promises to reveal the truth about what really happened at Broad Haven.
According to the Express, Mr Spring researched the case through documents sent to the National Archives 30 years after the bizarre happenings and after a new witness came forward.
“I visited Broad Haven a sceptic, and came away convinced that some of the locals knew far more about the mysterious occurrences of 1977 than they are willing to reveal,” he said.
'Faceless humanoid'
According to documents held at the National Archive in Kew, the story began one night in April 1977 at 2.30am when Rosa Granville, who ran the Haven Fort Hotel in Little Haven, was awoken by strange noise and lights.

Looking out of her window, she described seeing an object which looked like an “upside-down saucer” in the field next to the hotel and two “faceless humanoid” creatures with pointed heads.
The incident, she said in a subsequent letter she wrote to her MP Nicholas Edwards, left her “agitated and disturbed and not the least bit desirous of another encounter”.
'Inundated with sightings'
On receiving Mrs Granville’s letter back in 1977, Mr Edwards contacted the Ministry of Defence and Flight Lieutenant Cowan, an officer from RAF Brawdy, then visited the hotel.
The MP said at the time: “I am being inundated at the present time with representations about UFOs said to have been seen in Pembrokeshire.”
Other incidents reported in the Broad Haven area at the time included a class of schoolchildren who claimed to have seen a spacecraft near their playground.
Then a family said they saw several UFOs in the space of a week, as well as several sightings of silver-suited creatures.
MoD officials expressed no interest, saying there was no threat to national security.
'Discreet inquiry'
However, among the documents was a letter from the head of the MoD’s S4 wing to the Provost Security Service, the RAF’s internal police force.
The S4 chief wrote: ”I have not even told the Minister I am consulting you” and called for a “discreet enquiry” after expressing bewilderment at the number of apparently “level-headed” witnesses to the strange activity.
Mr Spring said: “(The new witnesses’) testimony rocked the very foundations of the British Government.”
'Bombshell document'
Nick Pope, who worked as UFO investigator for the MOD, said: “This bombshell document shows how the MoD’s UFO project asked the RAF Police to conduct a secret investigation into these mysterious events, while Parliament, the media and the public were being told the subject was of no defence significance.
“Defence ministers were cut out of the loop.”
The disclosures have prompted Tory peer Lord Black of Brentwood to call for a full explanation from the MoD of what it uncovered.
'More answers needed'
Lord Black said: “A number of recently released MoD files leave little doubt that a small number of sightings of aerial phenomena - particularly by military personnel, pilots and air traffic controllers - remain unexplained and unidentified.
“There needs to be further examination of these issues in the hope of learning something new.”
The sightings in Broad Haven took place near a military base, leading some observers to suggest the crafts had actually been Harrier jump jets and the aliens were just men wearing fireproof flying outfits.
Two years ago a former US Navy sailor came forward to say that the cause of the silver-suited being was in fact a US military personal wearing their standard fireproof uniform and the UFOs were new Harrier jets being flown.
The MoD has not commented.

The “Other” Alien Autopsy Film
On May 5, 1995, a highly inflammatory piece of film-footage was shown to a select audience at the Museum of London, England, by a man named Ray Santilli. Thus was born the controversy surrounding the now-notorious Alien Autopsy film – a controversy that raged for more than a decade. On April 4, 2006, however, everything changed. Britain’s SKY Television show Eamonn Investigatesrevealed that the infamous Alien Autopsy film, that tantalized and intrigued so many for years, was not what it appeared to be.
Ray Santilli told host Eamonn Holmes that he was responsible for the creation of the footage, along with colleague Gary Shoefield and special-effects expert John Humphreys, who worked on the British sci-fi show Dr. Who and on the fantasy movieCharlie and the Chocolate Factory. Santilli continued to assert, however, that he didsecure original footage from a still-unidentified cameraman which appeared to show areal alien autopsy, but which was in very poor condition. The result: what was presented to the world was “restored footage.”
Inevitably, most researchers – from that moment on – dismissed the AA film as being of no real, meaningful consequence. There are, however, certain aspects to the matter that still provoke interest. One being that a number of stories exist of witnesses who claimed to have viewed eerily similar footage, but decades earlier.
The British UFO investigator, Jenny Randles, made an intriguing comment with regard to an offer of alleged Top Secret documents on crashed UFOs that had been made to her in late 1986 by a British Army source that she calls “Robert.” According to Randles, Robert had then recently left the military and had personal access to certain UFO files that had been surreptitiously removed from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio, and provided to the British Army by a source at Wright-Patterson.
From there, sources in the Army were determined to forward this documentation on to Randles for circulation and dissemination to the public. The transfer of the classified material to Randles never occurred, however, and to this day she remains unsure of what motivated this bizarre episode. Her comments on this strange, cloak-and-dagger episode are notable, however, and highly relevant to alleged film footage showing an alien autopsy.
Within the files that Robert described to her in 1986 were photographs that sound very much like images that had been lifted directly from the Alien Autopsy film: “Bear in mind,” Randles said, when I interviewed her specifically on the matter in 1997, “1986 was years before the Autopsy film surfaced. In fact, the connections with the Autopsy film and with what Robert told me are chillingly similar. One of the impressions that you get from viewing the Alien Autopsy footage is that the body is very human-like; and is around five foot in height. I have to say, it struck me as soon as I saw the footage that this was very similar to what Robert had described.”
Two reports that may have a bearing on this issue came from the premier collector of UFO crash-retrieval accounts, the late Leonard Stringfield. In 1980, in The UFO Crash Retrieval Syndrome, Stringfield related the testimony of a former “Air Force radar specialist, who in the spring of 1953 was “summoned to view a film at the base theater” while stationed at Ft. Monmouth, New Jersey.
The film, Stringfield was told, showed “a desert scene dominated by a silver disc-shaped object embedded in the sand with a domed section at the top.” The source of the story advised Stringfield that the UFO had been recovered in New Mexico in 1952. It was fifteen to twenty feet in diameter and was surrounded by “ten to fifteen military personnel dressed in fatigues.”
Stringfield’s informant told him that the movie then jumped to another scene. According to the man’s recollection: “Now in view were two tables, probably taken inside a tent, on which were dead bodies. Two were on one table; one on the other. The bodies appeared little by human standards and most notable were the heads, all looking alike, and all being large compared to their body sizes. They looked Mongoloid, with small noses, mouths, and eyes that were shut.”
Interestingly, Stringfield was told that the man and his colleagues were ordered by a superior officer not to discuss what they had seen with anyone and merely to “think about the movie.” Two weeks later, T.E. was told: “Forget the movie you saw; it was a hoax.”
Stringfield’s source added that: “The 5-minute long movie was not a Walt Disney production. It was probably shot by an inexperienced cameraman because it was full of scratches, and had poor coloring and texture.”
Interestingly, the description of the film being of poor texture, and the fact that it seemed to have been filmed by an inexperienced cameraman, seems to tally very closely with the out-of-focus, poor-quality segments of footage that Ray Santilli thrust upon the world in 1995. Also tallying is the fact that the footage described to Stringfield was first presented as real, but then, afterwards, relegated to the world of hoaxing.
Similarly, in his report UFO Crash/Retrievals: Is the Cover-Up Lid Lifting? Leonard Stringfield wrote: “In 1985, Chris Coffey, of Cincinnati, who was a close friend of astronaut Ellison Onizuka, revealed to me that she had asked him when they met after one of his visits to Wright-Patterson AFB, about his interest in UFOs. He admitted he kept an open mind on the subject and added that his curiosity was aroused when he and a select group of air force pilots, at McClelland AFB in 1973, were shown a black-and-white movie film featuring ‘alien bodies on a slab.’”
Stringfield continued: “In his state of shock, he said he remembered saying aloud, ‘Oh, my God!’ Chris, knowing my work in C/R [Crash/Retrievals], had arranged for me to meet Onizuka to discuss UFOs after his scheduled flight on the space shuttleChallenger. As it turned out, fate intervened when the shuttle exploded.”
For most people in UFO research, the AA film is dead and buried. And maybe that’s exactly where it should stay. But, I’m still not sure we have the full story behind it…

A Crashed UFO And Telephone Weirdness
Back in 1991, UFO researcher Leonard Stringfield published his then-latest of many reports on crashed UFOs. I had read all of Stringfield’s earlier reports, booklets and books, but this one stood out for me. The reason being that it referenced the alleged crash of a UFO, in 1964. The location was an area of woodland and fields near the Staffordshire, England market-town of Penkridge. It’s a town only a short drive from where I grew up as a kid. At the time, however, I was down in the south of England, in Harlow, Essex. But, I made a note to look into the affair next time I was back in the Staffordshire area.
As for Stringfield’s story, it was an intriguing one. Unfortunately, and as was the case with so many of Stringfield’s informants, the name of the person who provided the story was not listed. Or, rather, it was, but in the form of a pseudonym: “S.M. Brannigan.” According to the story, back in early 1964 “Brannigan” was serving in the US military aboard “…a specially rigged LST, a flagship that was attached to a naval amphibious force at an unspecified point in either the Caribbean or the Atlantic…”
Stringfield’s source informed him that it was his job to intercept and translate Soviet military transmissions. One such transmission – of early 1964 – stood out. Reportedly, the US Navy monitored Soviet chatter concerning the tracking and spiraling to Earth of nothing less than a UFO. Supposedly, the malfunctioning UFO split into two segments: one coming down somewhere in Germany and the other in a wooded/field area near to Penkridge. There were rumors of “remains” and of “bodies” hastily and secretly recovered by UK and German forces.
Well, it was quite a story! But, it lacked a real name for “Brannigan.” And it also lacked solid data, back-up sources, and a specific date. Nevertheless, I have found myself faced with less material to work with – and on more than a few occasions, too. I looked into it for a while, but I could not find a single piece of data to support the story. Now, we move on to 1995. That was the year in which a woman with a deep interest in UFOs, Irene Bott, established the Staffordshire UFO Group. One year later, in September 1996, Irene had a first anniversary SUFOG conference in the area, at which I spoke.
During the booze-quaffing session after the gig, I told Irene about the 1964 affair and she found it all very interesting. To the extent that she made mention of it in the local (but now defunct) newspaper, The Chase Post (which covered the towns and villages in and around Staffordshire’s Cannock Chase). It was an article that led an elderly man named Harold South to contact Irene with a startling story. According to South, he was on-site shortly after the 1964 crash occurred and while hordes of British military personnel were racing around, closing roads through a particular part of the Cannock Chase, and loading a small, delta-shaped vehicle (or parts of it) aboard a large, transporter vehicle.
South also claimed he was later visited by local police, who, he believed, had seen him as he drove close to the makeshift cordon and tracked him down by the license-plate of his vehicle. He also said they confiscated his camera, which he eventually got back, minus the film – which allegedly showed shots of the crash-site. Well, that was quite as story, too! It was not until December 1996 that me and Irene were able to arrange to meet with South in person – which we did, at his small apartment in the town of Brownhills. We called him, around the end of November, to see if one particular date was suitable. It was. Then, on the morning of that particular date (December 11, 1996), we called him again, just to make sure a meet was still cool. Yes, it was.
Well, that was all good. Or, at least, we thought it was. When we got to South’s apartment, his entire demeanor had changed. He didn’t want to talk to us – at all. He was clearly a worried man. He did, at least, invite us in. If nothing else, that was something positive. We asked South what was wrong and, for a few moments, he hemmed and hawed. Finally, however, he told us about the reason for his sudden change of heart. According to South, in between us phoning him and arriving at his home he had received a phone call from the British Ministry of Defense, warning him not to talk to us!
Yes, you know what I’m going to say: that was quite a story too! I have heard a lot of similar such controversial claims over the years, many of which led nowhere. This one, however, was a bit different. We asked South if anyone had called since the MoD phoned. He replied, “No.” So, we asked if we could use his phone and dial 1471. It’s a UK service that allows the caller to obtain the number of the previous, incoming call. Providing, that is, it’s not withheld by the caller.
Sure enough there was a number. We dialed it as South looked on, not unlike someone awaiting a firing squad or castration without anaesthetic. Or both. Not only did we dial, but someone answered. It was a woman who was very cagey about identifying herself by name. We were, however, able to prove the number had taken us to an operator-service that was run by the military. It was responsible for channeling calls to and from military establishments in the West Midlands and Staffordshire regions of the UK. In other words, the call to South could have come from any number of military bases in the area. But, all we had was the operator-number that called South, rather than the originating source that was connected to South by the operator.
Needless to say, it didn’t take us anywhere. But something did. South added that as well as the Ministry of Defense warning him not to speak with us, rather oddly they gave him a number to call in the event that he “might want to speak with” them again. So, we asked for the number and dialed it. This one took us to an office of the Ministry of Defense Guard Service at Whittington Barracks, near the city of Lichfield.
The voice on the other end of the line was cordial (throughout the brief conversation the man at the other end genially called Irene “flower”), but careful about what he said. He gave up nothing at all and the conversation was soon ended. He clearly reacted when we phoned though, since he wanted to know how we had got an internal number at the Guards Service, rather than their main-line. Well, he told us nothing, so we did likewise and said our goodbyes. “Bye, flower,” he said to Irene.
Over the next couple of years, Irene got a few more snippets of data, which collectively suggested there may have been some truth to the story that originally surfaced via “S. M. Brannigan” and Leonard Stringfield, and which was later expanded on by Harold South. It’s an episode that I still occasionally think about, nineteen years after we met that worried old man. Of course, none of what happened on that freezing cold, winter’s morning in December 1996 confirms aliens crashed near Penkridge 51 years ago. All I can say for sure, is that we were able to 100 percent prove that on the day in question – when we were due to speak with him about his crashed UFO claims – Harold South had a call directed to his home from a military operator-based service, and he was given an internal number at the MoD Guard Service, in case he might “want to speak” with someone about his experience.
All of this begs a couple of questions: (A) why was it made so easy for me and Irene to find the military operator’s number via the 1471 service? And (B) why was South even given a number at Whittington Barracks at all? Irene and I wondered if we had a hidden whistle-blower somewhere in our midst. One who was feeding us a few snippets of data (in the form of odd but easily traceable phone calls), in an attempt to try and convince us of the validity of the 1964 crash. But, in a way that didn’t compromise his or her identity.
Admittedly, I have no firm opinion on what went down on that day in December 1996, except to say it was very strange, deeply memorable, and extremely intriguing. Beyond that? Nothing but a mass of questions that are unlikely to ever be answered.

This happened last Saturday here in Las Vegas the wife and I were driving saw this thing above the mountain range to our left. I took a quick picture and nocticed that there was a police officer down there also watching it. So my wife told me to turn around let’s go see what it is so I went down to the police officer and ask him apparently he was answering a call from dispatch from a commercial pilot that said this thing at one point was in the line of sight for incoming air traffic into the airport here in Las Vegas and they had genuine concerns that I was in their flight path.
So he was answering that call he had followed it from 3 miles down the road up to this point looking for any vehicle that somebody might be in controlling this thing by the time we got there there was nobody there but him and I and my wife watching this thing sit above the mountains edge ascending descending rotating from left to right parts of it also rotating by themselves righ to left. It was the size of maybe a large bike it made no noise and it was moving unnaturally another words it wasn’t moving by the wind it was being controlled that’s why the immediate thought was that it was a drone. I sent you guys these three pictures to look at it to tell me maybe you have answers I’ve seen things on the internet similar to this I’m assuming maybe that’s what that is.

NASA heeft een video vrijgegeven van de zogenoemde Nebula-sluier, restanten van een enorme ster die 8.000 jaar geleden ontplofte. De beelden werden gemaakt door de Hubble-telescoop.
De kleurrijke stofwolk ligt aan de rand van een kolossale gasbel die de stervende ster de ruimte inblies voor ze ontplofte, zo'n 2.100 lichtjaren van de aarde verwijderd. Het rood in de beelden komt van de gloed van waterstof, het groen van zwavel en het blauw van zuurstof.
De supernova moet zo'n 8.000 jaar zichtbaar zijn geweest vanop de aarde in de vorm van een nieuwe, felle ster in het noorden.

"Het mysterie rond Mars is opgelost", laat NASA weten. Wat dat precies betekent, is nog onduidelijk, maar wetenschappers denken dat NASA zal aankondigen dat het vloeibaar water op Mars heeft ontdekt. Morgen om 17:30 uur (onze tijd) geeft de ruimtevaartorganisatie een persconferentie waarin wordt uitgelegd wat er precies is ontdekt. Meerdere toponderzoekers van NASA zullen aanwezig zijn bij de persconferentie in het hoofdkwartier in Washington.
De geruchtenmolen over wat NASA nu juist gaat aankondigen, draait op volle toeren. In het centrum van de geruchten staat Lujendra Ojha, een student aan het Georgia Institute of Technology. Hij zou "per ongeluk" bewijs gevonden hebben dat er water vloeit op Mars nadat hij in 2011 beelden bestudeerde van de planeet. Ojha zal tijdens de persconferentie het woord nemen.
Ojha onderzocht en bewerkte beelden van het Marsoppervlak en vond vormen die zich over de planeet lijken te bewegen op een manier waarop water ook beweegt. Na die ontdekking onderzocht Ojha jarenlang of de bewegende patronen echt water waren.
Het zou dus heel goed kunnen dat er water vloeit op Mars en dat er zelfs een oceaan is. De gevolgen van de ontdekking zouden gigantisch zijn, omdat water kan betekenen dat er ooit leven op de planeet is geweest.
Dat er water op Mars is, is niet nieuw. Wetenschappers ontdekten 40 jaar geleden al ijskappen. Maar tot nu was er nog geen bewijs van de aanwezigheid van vloeibaar water.
Morgen weten we wat NASA nu zo graag wil aankondigen en of er echt water over Mars stroomt.

In Engeland verschenen afgelopen week grote nieuwsberichten over een geheim UFO-onderzoek door het Ministerie van Defensie.
Daaruit is een document boven water gekomen en een 14-tal schoolkinderen zagen een UFO landen en maakten daarvan tekeningen.
Engeland is niet alleen het land met veel gebouwen die allerlei spoken huisvesten, maar zeker ook een natie met een rijke UFO-historie.
Het is daarom ook niet voor niets het land dat oude monumenten zoals Stonehenge en graancirkels kent.
Enige weken geleden schreven wij een artikel over de fenomenale UFO-activiteit in de Engelse plaats Warminster in het midden van de jaren zestig. Eind jaren zeventig was er echter nog een plek die de concurrentie als UFO-hotspot zou kunnen aangaan met Warminster.
Dat is een regio in Wales die wordt aangeduid als de Broad Haven Triangle, een soort variatie op de naam Bermuda Triangle. Daar speelt een zaak die tot op de dag van vandaag voort leeft en die enkele dagen geleden weer in het nieuws kwam.
De aanleiding is dat een bekende Engelse politicus Lord Black of Brentwood van het Engelse Ministerie van Defensie opheldering wil over de gebeurtenissen die daar in die periode plaatsvonden.
Deze Lord is ervan overtuigd dat er in die tijd, ondanks stevige ontkenningen, wel degelijk iets gebeurd is en dat men vanuit het Ministerie van Defensie dit probeert te verbergen. Hij baseert zijn vermoeden onder andere op dat er bij een lagere school een UFO werd waargenomen door schoolkinderen.
Niet alleen zagen ze die vliegen, maar 14 leerlingen zagen hem zelfs landen. Later werd hen gevraagd om onafhankelijk van elkaar tekeningen te maken en die leken uiteindelijk verbazingwekkend veel op elkaar zoals je in het volgende voorbeeld kunt zien.
Lord Black zoals we hem voor het gemak zullen noemen, is er van overtuigd dat er iets gebeurd is waar geen “normale” verklaring voor is en wil dat dit tot op de bodem wordt uitgezocht.
De hernieuwde belangstelling is ook omdat een onderzoeker en auteur, Neil Spring, onderzoek heeft gedaan naar een aantal UFO-waarnemingen uit die periode in die streek in Wales. Hij zegt dat hij een document boven water heeft gekregen waaruit zou blijken dat er een geheim UFO-onderzoek is uitgevoerd door het Ministerie zonder dat de politiek daarvan op de hoogte is gesteld.
Lord Black heeft zelf ook een bezoek gebracht aan die streek en zegt, “Ik ben als scepticus afgereisd naar Broad Haven, maar als een ander mens teruggekomen en ervan overtuigd dat sommige van de plaatselijke bewoners veel meer wisten over de mysterieuze gebeurtenissen dan ze bereid waren te vertellen”.
Uiteraard werd er in die tijd door het Ministerie ontkend dat er sprake was van vreemde activiteit in dat gebied.
De Engelse krant The Mirror heeft het Ministerie van Defensie om commentaar gevraagd naar aanleiding van de uitlatingen van Lord Black, maar hebben (nog) geen antwoord gekregen.
Als Lord Black volhardt, komt er misschien een vervolg op dit verhaal.

Like Us on Facebook Mirror reports that video footage on a car dashboard camera showed another vehicle, a small white car, collide with a lorry near Izhevsk. In the same footage, an object is seen moving in the sky erratically. The UFO was also visible to other travelers on the same road. According to Daily Mail, the lorry was seen swerving on to the verge to the road's right which forced the white car to swerve into the road. However, another car on the opposite of the road hit the white car and flew off the road. The British daily says the drivers involve in the crash were likely distracted by the UFO, causing them not to look to the road and the traffic on the opposite lane. The lorry's driver was not hurt but is undergoing treatment for shock. The 60-year-old driver of the car died, while his 22-year-old passenger was badly injured and is in the hospital. Police are investigating the UFO sighting. The incident happened on Sept. 18, and since it was posted, the 50-second video had gone viral with almost 17,000 views.

From every corner of the world, and for people of different races, cultures, creeds, ages and occupations, there are tales of alleged abductions. Unfortunately, their claims were thrown out by an expert because the latter believed that there’s no constellation resembled on it. However, one expert says that truth is near on their claims. David Saunders, the famous statistician, says that the image drawn by Betty Hill’s resembles Zeta Reticuli, which happens to be a vast star binary system in the southern constellation of Reticulum }. He argues that Betty cannot randomly sketch the star map if, in the first place, she never seen it. Betty died in 2004, but she previously shared her abduction story. She was being taken on board. The examiner is the one who did the testing. They were being put into a stool, checked her eyes, nose, ears, and throat. She further claimed that the examiner went on to check her nervous system. The scariest part is when the aliens inserted a needle-like instrument in her navel part that caused pain. The same way goes to Barney, except that, aliens are more interested in his bone structure. The climax of her abduction story is when she met the alien leader. She asked the residence of the alien, and upon replying, he showed her the star map. The made Betty drew the map under hypnosis.

And this isn’t even a new revelation Ilyumzhinov is currently president of the International Chess Foundation (FIDE), a position he’s held since 1995, after readily defeating former world chess champion Garry Kasparov last year for the job.
His background and position on UFOs and ETs will undoubtedly bring Ilyumzhinov under fresh scrutiny — he’s reportedly considering running for president of FIFA, the international governing body of football. During his Kalmykia presidency, Ilyumzhinov — pictured above at a 2006 meeting in Moscow’s Kremlin with Russian President Vladimir Putin (left) — claimed he was abducted by extraterrestrials.
Ilyumzhinov says that, on an evening in September 1997, ETs wearing yellow spacesuits spirited him out of his Moscow home and took him to their spaceship. Here’s part of an interview he gave in 2007 for an Al Jazeera news report, “Meet the President — Kirsan Ilyumzhinov”:
I was taken [from] my apartment in Moscow to this spaceship, and we went to some star and after that, I asked them, ‘Please bring me back.’ They are like people, like us. They have the same mind and the same vision. I talked with them and I understand that we are not alone in this whole world — we are not unique. I am not a crazy man, but after I gave the first interview to Radio Freedom in Russia . Thousands of people wrote me letters and called on the phone, saying, ‘Oh, Kirsan, you are a politician and you are not afraid to talk about it?’
Considering his alleged otherworldly encounter and his long-term association with FIDE, it’s not surprising to hear Ilyumzhinov make an out-of-this-world connection between aliens and the game of chess. Thanks to the Huffington Post.
The 4000 year old Beauty of Loulan of China
Loulan was discovered in 1980, but it was 3800 years ago that she died in China on the trade route known as the Silk Road. The natural dryness and salty soil preserved her and over two hundred other mummies, who had lived in settlements along the trade route. The mummy has been called the Loulan Beauty because of her amazingly preserved stately facial features that have remained quite beautiful even in death.
The Chinese government has been reluctant to allow full access to the mummies because of their Caucasian or alien identity. The Tarim mummies look more European than Asian and are descendants of the original inhabitants of the area and not later arrivals, as Chinese history claims.
Victor Mair, a professor at the University of Pennsylvania, was instrumental in getting access to these mummies’ genetic samples in 1993. Their findings revealed that the mummies are indeed European but they probably migrated from the Siberian region. Mainstream historians have always had the concept that early people were not world travelers when in fact most evidence points to just the opposite. Loulan’s people are clearly of Caucasian descent and their grave goods suggest that they were probably merchants of textiles.
The settlements along the Silk Road might very well have been meeting points where merchants from the west traded their goods for goods from the east. Pliny the Elder described the traders from this area as tall with flaxen hair and blue eyes. Loulan herself lived to be about 40 to 45. One of the mummies, the Yingpan Man, was six feet six inches tall and wore a red tunic with gold embroidery. He also wore a gold foil burial mask.
She probably died from lung disease and was buried in well-made woven clothing. Some of the mummies are actually wearing plaid patterned loomed cloth. Many of the mummies are tattooed like modern tattooing and one female has crescent moons and ovals tattooed on her face. A male mummy known as the Chrechen Man has sun tattoos on his temples, although the tattoos could represent UFOs. It is known that the ancient people rode horses, used chariots and had at least some medical knowledge.
The Chinese government did allow further testing in 2007 and 2009 and the findings supported the Siberian connection as well as suggesting the mixing of people from Mesopotamia, the Indus Valley, Europe and other unknown sources. Thanks to Margaret Moose.
Note: I suggest the unknown sources were extraterrestrial. Almost 200 pyramids ten thousand years old are found in China near other Caucasian blondes and red heads.
Mars Pyramid Found
The Pyramid: Alien hunters say this pyramid is roughly the size of a small car, and believe it may be the tip of a much larger pyramid buried underground. This ancient pyramid was found by Martian Archeology of Youtube. He found a pyramid, maybe even two if the one on the far left in the video is one. It is interesting that the pyramids on Mars and in China look similar. He also found the walls of a very large building to the right of the small pyramid. It’s just a fantastic discovery by Martian Archeology.
Cylinder UFOs over Pluto
Mister Enigma of YouTube reports that there are UFOs in the latest Pluto photo Sept 18, 2015. The UFOs are in orbit around the planet and are vertical, an odd position for a UFO, but not unheard of. UFOs can tilt sideways and even upside without bothering the occupants inside since they have artificial gravity. Remember these are untouched NASA photos. Scott C. They don’t have the time or manpower to keep an eye out all the time, but with NASA budget cuts, they just are not able to cut the video before the UFOs are seen. Hauntings and UFOs Connected
Researcher Brett Allen s a former Albany NY top radio jock and UFO Magazine 2007 cover and feature, featured for his mass red orb or B.O.Las.
Brett Allen writes, “As you know I have been studying and researching both the “Paranormal” and UFOs for decades; since my own experiences began in childhood in NY’s Hudson Valley. My most dramatic sighting of red “Orbs” or “Balls of Light” had traffic in knots on a busy interstate back in 1981”. I believe was the first sighting of the Hudson Valley Flap, featured on the cover of UFO Magazine back in 2009.
Sadly, my own personal experiences have shown me all too well that most UFO investigators do not look outside their own fields for correlation; and all too often dismiss other anomalous fields, offering up the same prejudices they have received concerning their own research. However, correlating commonalities in the Paranormal, UFOs and yes, even Bigfoot, has been the focus of my personal research; as I live in an area where all three have been experienced. Most UFO investigators do not realize that hauntings, as well as UFOs …and even Sasquatch reports, often feature similar eyewitness testimony: from similar EM manifestations, to the inclusion of “Orbs” or “Balls of Light.” In fact, my research has found incredible evidence to suggest they are all connected.
For nearly a decade “Paranormal” researchers have been documenting similar “light anomalies” and “orbs” seen in UFO events with incredible regularity in haunted locations. They have been piling up an incredible array of photographic evidence from the “unseen” IR and UV wavelengths; utilizing techniques such as Night Vision and Full Spectrum photography, capturing wavelengths outside the human visual spectrum. Interestingly, many cheap digital cameras and cells allow a certain amount of leakage of UV and IR into their images; which have resulted in some amazing images in both hauntings and Ufology… while many also claim Bigfoot encounters also feature “orbs” and light anomalies; tales many do not realize are straight out of Native American lore. Yes, you can photograph things the human eye cannot see, but these are wavelengths many animals and insects do indeed see.
I believe just as ancient peoples have told us, this is the hidden “spirit world” or “underworld”, long out of our sight hidden in these unseen wavelengths. My own two UFO photos were not visible when taken, yet were captured during a strangely “booming” sky some a bit further west call “the Seneca Guns.” Could ‘alien” visitors, whatever their origin, have long been utilizing these EM wavelengths as camouflage”; the very reason many UFOs suddenly appear or “wink” from view?

Among the many amazing images of apparitions and light anomalies being regularly caught by investigators, I have come across one particularly disturbing image that may set the world of Ufology on its proverbial head. It was taken with “full spectrum” photography in a “demonically” haunted, former church rectory in Sedamsville, Ohio. The rectory had been the site of many disturbing acts and after beginning renovations, its new owners had been tormented by a malevolent, demonic ‘haunting’. Enduring scratches, burns, disembodied voices, shadows, and even troubling, psychological manifestations… possession; the owners were in need of help in the form of “paranormal” Intervention. I have long agreed with Erich Van Daniken that we have confused religion with “alien” visitation; not to say we do not have a creator. Award-winning, documentary filmmaker and host of the Travel Channel’s Paranormal Investigation series “Ghost Adventures”, Zak Bagans, caught the enclosed image. Although many dismiss such research as nonsense, his team has remained at the forefront of Paranormal Investigation… and has worked hard to cement its credibility. Those of us who have endured a haunting know the phenomenon is quite real. It has shadowed man’s existence since record keeping began. Constantly innovating with new technology; the team stays at the forefront of innovation and technology… with some incredible results; such as the recent introduction of Microsoft 3D Connect software combined with imaging sensor arrays… results which can be seen online.
However, consider this; is it mere coincidence that all “paranormal events” manifest similar Electromagnetic anomalies; the very same as those seen in UFO Close Encounters: battery drain, confounding technology, interfering with lights, radio interference, even raising the hair on the body? The astounding image Bagans caught was first aired in Oct. 2012, two years before Boyd Bushman ever
released his now infamous Alien/Area 51 Disclosure video 2015. In that video, just before his death, Bushman held up his own film stock image of an alien, later discredited by many when a similar likeness turned up online. But what no one noticed is that Bushman’s image is also incredibly similar to Bagans that was taken two years before. Bagans has little knowledge of Ufology. In fact, he sees hauntings solely in the context of religion.
However, religious texts do tell us beings come to Earth to guide, collect and demons… to torment the living and steal souls. Yet Science refuses to even address the issue of the soul and save on academic, has never tested for its existence. Is it mere coincidence that many ancient cultures call non-human UFO occupants… demons? “Demon” is also a word used in many ancient cultures as a name for the “fallen” or, as my own study of Strong’s Biblical Concordance tells me, “descended” Angels.
Notice the similar cleft in the forehead, as well as the facial layout. May I remind you, we are told by whistle blowers, there are many alien species visiting Earth, and many suggest two types of alien grey; one benevolent, another malevolent. Bagans estimated the figure would have stood 4ft tall. I ask you, is this image not eerily similar to what we know as an alien “grey”? The image was never put online, and was virtually ignored even by Bagans; even suggesting it could be “pareidolia the imagined perception of a pattern.” I had to do some work to obtain it.
Amazingly, Bushman told us that aliens are telepathic, which would account nicely for the psychological manifestations and disembodied voices experienced in many haunted locations; could it also account for our ability to ‘drive them out” using strong mental intent or ‘summon” them using a Ouija board? Amazingly, in such “demonically” haunted locations, many teams have documented sudden temperature drops to an exact 66.6 degrees Fahrenheit… a number straight out of the Bible. Sadly, today, few realize just how much of the Bible, archaeologically, has been proven as fact. There are hundreds of Biblical locations and cities that have been found. Last month even the Biblical home of Goliath, Gath, was found. I have no doubt von Daniken is right, and personally believe too many UFO and Paranormal researchers have been missing the bigger picture… Wild men, today known as Sasquatch, were painstakingly chiseled into Cathedral walls for a reason… and is it mere coincidence, that the very same EM manifestations surround many of their encounters?

California Strange Lights
Vandenberg— It hovered in our pasture shortly until a rocket was launched in 1989. My Japanese wife and dog were dazed for several days after their encounter. I called the Vandenberg duty officer informing him of my suspicion, they said, “It was their launching of a rocket.” I argued the distance was too far from our ranch to the rocket site. Their next launch looked like a matchstick, while this burning orange object was the size of a helicopter. He recommended calling Lemoore Naval Air Base because they were doing experimental flights, so once again I called
A few days later an insurance man shows ups claiming one of us called for an estimate. My wife tells him about the encounter, but neither of us called? Shortly afterwards our curtains were closed when we were awaken by bright search light lighting up our bedroom. There was no sound just a light rain and I saw nothing and found no tire tracks. Also another rancher nearby was having so many upsetting encounters, she called CNN News and had a video to prove her story of harassment by UFO’s to family and horses. She called Lemmore Naval Air Base to complain many times. Colorado Triangle
Denver — I was flying a Frontier Airlines flight to Dallas FW, departing at about 4:50 PM. We had arrived at our cruising altitude about 10 minutes before seeing the object. I saw an odd shaped object leaving a strange looking vapor trail and snapped a few pictures. The object was moving west and made a roll maneuver to assume an east path to fly parallel with our flight. It held this path for about twenty seconds before suddenly disappearing. The object appears to be small – the pictures are taken with an iPhone 5 and in the five images, you can track it before it dives out of sight. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Florida Strange Light
Kissimmee — I witnessed this weird flying object on September 19, 2015. It was ascending from 20k feet to like 40k feet in seconds.

Idaho Lights
Nampa — My girlfriend and I were walking to the store when we noticed that there were numerous lights in a circular formation off to the east on September 20, 2015. We saw a huge set of lights over Nampa. My first initial thought was that it was a UFO, so we kept watching. It hovered silently as we kept watching and were smiling and a little nervous. I got chills all over my body me and my girlfriend began talking about it a little worried. We sat watching for 25 minutes, when we lost sight of it. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Massachusetts Light
Quincy– On September 18, 2015, I was driving a taxi in Boston, when I noticed a very bright light to the east. I get to my place and it is visible again moving strangely and silently so it can’t be a plane.
I am interested, took six shots of it, and watched it from 4:00 until 4:45 am, as it hovered. I have no idea what this could be. There is no star of any kind in this part of the sky. Very bright white light looked very large. Logan Airport I close but they are not in the flight pattern and it is 4 am. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Michigan Lights
Fort Gratiot – I was on my patio lounge chair and noticed some lights brighter then the stars with binoculars on September 12, 2015, through tonight the 19th. They had an oval shape of bright lights and a pulsating red and green light just above the bottom rim of bright lights. I have witnessed this for the last 8 days. I am 55 and only have binoculars, so I made drawings to explain them. They are a web of millions of tiny bright twinkling lights in a dome shape coming out of circular base forming a disk. Montana Hovering Object
Argenta– On September 13, 2015, the witness was driving on Highway 278 in Southwestern Montana and saw a large object hovering over the mountains. He got out of his car and snapped a photo with his Polaroid camera. At that point, the object abruptly streaked away. A couple from Texas also stopped and really “freaked out” by what they saw. The witness stated, “I felt electrical energy” in the air and my hair “stood on end.” The object was emitting beams of light and had very long wings with an upward protrusion at the end of each wing. The object was visible 200 feet off the ground and streaked away towards Badger Pass.

Atlantic City — I am a police officer and I was on a scene when I observed a glowing orange orb on September 6, 2015, traveling at an extremely low speed overhead. The object did not make a sound nor did it have any of the usual lights associated with a plane or helicopter. Both of the aforementioned are extremely common in the area and I am very familiar with both. While on scene, I took my phone out and recorded two videos of it. The first had a flash on, but due to the sensitivity of the scene, I quickly ended the first video, turned off the flash, and then resumed filming. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Warrior writes, “I was working in the front room around 3 am, and heard a noise like a lawn mower. It was going on for quite a long time, I said to myself who would cut their grass at 2 A, so I went to the window to see. I was on the top third floor and realized there was no grass in the flats below and that it couldn’t be a lawn mower. I was shocked when I looked out of the window to see a black hovercraft type craft outside the window on August 12, 2015 at 1:42 pm. It was shiny black metallic and I could see the driver’s area lit up and the driver was wearing orange overalls. I could not see a face as a white helmet was worn with a gasmask with a hose like the air bag on an accordion. There was dark goggle like mask on the eye area, and the hands had dark gloves. The person looked human and the craft reflected the light. I ran to my bedroom to tell my husband and tried to wake him, but he wouldn’t get up. I ran back to my daughter’s room and saw the craft was still there with the person looking my way. Farmingville— letting our dogs out at night, I saw a huge red orange light come up over tree line across street on September 18, 2015. It was moving faster than anything I have seen with no sound. I am ex military and a current NYC detective and never seen an aircraft move so fast. It came toward me a little lower than normal flight levels. It turned north, bobbled a lot and straightens out flying higher in front of a plane that was flying much slower. The plane changed course and followed the light but it just went out. Richmond — I reported a sighting of 6 to 12 UFO’s on February 8, 2014. Since then I have had anywhere from 6 to 10 UFO’s flying around my apartment including the latest on September 17, 2015. The UFO’s hover in various places in the area and small Cessna airplanes seem to be keeping and eye on them. On any clear night, you can see the UFO’s, and the Cessna aircraft nearby. Alderley — On August 23, 2015, I spotted a disc shaped UFO outside my kitchen window. I filed a report but didn’t have my camera. However, this time, I was staring out the window as many aircraft flew by and all showed up on radar. I observed a fast light like a shooting star that slowed and became stationary. It was another disc, like the one I saw the other day. The object was west of me, probably above Brisbane. I got my camera and zoomed in using a tripod. Scarborough, Ontario — Paul Shishis writes, “September 21, 2015 while on morning break I was outside alone checking the eastern sky when something dark caught my eye at 10:11 am. It was doing a zigzag pattern directly above the roof and then flew in a straighter path. Its movements were indeed strange, so I started to snap pictures hoping to reveal better detail. I took twelve pictures – the last one shown is on a slight zoom. Only two pictures caught the unknown dark craft that appears to be a classical disk like flying saucer! Guadalajara — I am sorry I changed the color of the photos so much, but it’s the best way to see as much of the UFO as possible taken on September 13, 2015. In one of the photos, I can see a pilot of the craft standing up. The cockpit window is so transparent; we can’t see it in the photos below. The UFOs propulsion is causing a distortion field around it. That is why its shape seems to be changing, but it is not. This is the most uniquely shaped UFO and interesting design I have ever seen. News states: An iridescent, multi-hued cloud phenomenon was recently spotted in Costa Rican skies, and residents were left awestruck and mystified. Coincidentally, the sighting occurred on the country’s Independence Day. Bangkok — This UFO orb was captured by DT Smile Love of YouTube on September 14, 2015. This type of UFO is often seen, but often mistaken and dismissed as stars or planets. The UFO is not a sphere, but a disk, tilted on end like a wheel, similar to the Biblical Ezekiel’s wheel of 593 BC. This way, the UFO can allow itself to be seen as it studies you from a distance. Norfolk — I have been watching the skies recently noticing flashes of white or blue light that are like camera flashes. I stood at my back door on July 21, 2015, and noticed what looked like a larger star moving towards my house from the south. It then changed direction and altitude heading northeast. It climbed and stopped, then descended and hovered. I felt intimidated by it as the light disappeared over the houses. Since then I have had numerous sightings and photos of these encounters. Taunton Somerset — We saw a red and blue lights moving very slowly coming downward then flying up, then stopping, then turning left and right on September 20, 2015. It was coming towards where we were standing in our garden. When I started to take photos, it then started to move away very slowly and drop lower behind the trees. Converging black holes in Virgo constellation

Earlier this year, astronomers discovered what appeared to be a pair of supermassive black holes circling toward a collision so powerful it would send a burst of gravitational waves surging through the fabric of space-time itself.
Now, in a study in the journal Nature, astronomers at Columbia University provide additional evidence that a pair of closely orbiting black holes is causing the rhythmic flashes of light coming from quasar PG 1302-102.
Based on calculations of the pair’s mass–together, and relative to each other–the researchers go on to predict a smashup 100,000 years from now, an impossibly long time to humans but the blink of an eye to a star or black hole. Spiraling together 3.5 billion light-years away, deep in the Virgo constellation, the pair is separated by a mere light-week. By contrast, the closest previously confirmed black hole pair is separated by 20 light-years.
“This is the closest we’ve come to observing two black holes on their way to a massive collision,” said the study’s senior author, Zoltan Haiman, an astronomer at Columbia. “Watching this process reach its culmination can tell us whether black holes and galaxies grow at the same rate, and ultimately test a fundamental property of space-time: its ability to carry vibrations called gravitational waves, produced in the last, most violent, stage of the merger.”
At the center of most giant galaxies, including our own Milky Way, lies a supermassive black hole so dense that not even light can escape. Over time, black holes grow bigger–millions to billions times more massive than the sun–by gobbling up stars, galaxies and even other black holes.
A supermassive black hole about to cannibalize its own can be detected by the mysterious flickering of a quasar–the beacon of light produced by black holes as they burn through gas and dust swirling around them. Normally, quasars brighten and dim randomly, but when two black holes are on the verge of uniting, the quasar appears to flicker at regular intervals, like a light bulb on timer.
Recently, a team led by Matthew Graham, a computational astronomer at the California Institute of Technology, designed an algorithm to pick out repeating light signals from 247,000 quasars monitored by telescopes in Arizona and Australia. Of the 20 pairs of black hole candidates discovered, they focused on the most compelling bright quasar– PG 1302-102. In a January study in Nature, they showed that PG 1302-102 appeared to brighten by 14 percent every five years, indicating the pair was less than a tenth of a light-year apart.
Intrigued, Haiman and his colleagues wondered if they could build a theoretical model to explain the repeating signal. If the black holes were as close as predicted, one had to be circling a much larger counterpart at nearly a tenth of the speed of light, they hypothesized. At that speed, the smaller black hole would appear to brighten as it approached Earth’s line of sight under the relativistic Doppler beaming effect.
If correct, they predicted they would find a five-year cycle in the quasar’s ultraviolet emissions–only two-and-a-half times more variable in its intensity. Analyzing UV observations collected by NASA’s Hubble and GALEX space telescopes they found exactly that.
Previous explanations for the repeating signal include a warp in the debris disks orbiting the black holes, a wobble in the axis of one black hole and a lopsided debris disk formed as one black hole draws material off the other–all creating the impression of a periodic flicker from Earth.
The new study also offers a new technique for investigating other converging black holes, the researchers said. By estimating the combined and relative mass of PG 1302-102’s black holes, they narrow down the pair’s predicted crash time to between 20,000 and 350,000 years from now with a best estimate of 100,000 years. (The predicted crash time by Graham’s team was 10,000 to several million years from now with a best estimate of 250,000 years).
“We can start to put numbers on the rates that black holes come together and build up into larger black holes, and use what we’re learning to search for more black holes pairs,” said study coauthor David Schiminovich, an astronomer at Columbia.
An uptick in the number of black hole binary discoveries has made astronomers hopeful that a collision could be detected in the next decade. This summer, Graham and his colleagues reported another 90 candidates, while astronomers at Columbia expect to soon unveil discoveries of their own from data collected at California’s Palomar Observatory.
With more black holes to watch, the chance of witnessing a crash and the gravitational waves predicted, but not yet detected, by Einstein’s general theory of relativity, grows.
“The detection of gravitational waves lets us probe the secrets of gravity and test Einstein’s theory in the most extreme environment in our universe–black holes,” said the study’s lead author, Daniel D’Orazio, a graduate student at Columbia. “Getting there is a holy grail of our field.”

An explosive new novel published today has revealed details of a declassified MoD document which suggests top-ranking officials carried out a covert inquiry into the 1977 Broad Haven Triangle sightings in Wales.
The area was gripped by UFO and paranormal fever after several people saw lights and objects hovering in the sky, a being in a metallic space suit, while poltergeists allegedly plagued one family, animals were seen cowering and ghostly figures reportedly peered into farmhouse windows.
Among the witnesses were 14 children who all drew similar pictures of a craft said to have landed near their school.

Paranormal author Neil Spring
The book - The Watchers by Neil Spring - is said to be based on "true events" and promises to reveal the truth about what really happened at remote Broad Haven along a strip of rugged coastline in Pembrokeshire National Park near an RAF base.
Mr Spring, who last year released his debut novel The Ghost Hunters about legendary paranormal investigator Harry Price, researched the case through documents sent to the National Archives 30 years after the bizarre happenings and after a new witness came forward.
At the time MoD officials expressed no interest in the sightings, saying there was no threat to national security.
However, among the documents was a letter from the head of the MoD's S4 wing to the Provost & Security Service, the RAF's internal police force.

The S4 chief wrote: ""I have not even told the Minister I am consulting you" and called for a "discreet enquiry" after expressing bewilderment at the number of apparently "level-headed" witnesses to the strange activity.
Mr Spring said: "(The new witnesses') testimony rocked the very foundations of the British Government.
"I visited Broad Haven a sceptic, and came away convinced that some of the locals knew far more about the mysterious occurrences of 1977 than they are willing to reveal."
The disclosures have prompted Tory peer Lord Black of Brentwood to call for a full explanation from the MoD of what it uncovered.
The Tory peer has been long involved in getting official government files of UFO sightings and inquiries made public.
Lord Black said: "A number of recently released MoD files leave little doubt that a small number of sightings of aerial phenomena - particularly by military personnel, pilots and air traffic controllers - remain unexplained and unidentified.
"There needs to be further examination of these issues in the hope of learning something new."
Two years ago a former US Navy sailor came forward to say that the cause of the silver-suited being was in fact a US military personal wearing their standard fireproof uniform and the UFOs were new harrier gets being flown.

What’s Behind NASA’s Upcoming Mystery Announcement About Mars?
Our best guess: flowing water, and the potential for alien life.
NASA officials will announce Monday morning a major scientific discovery related to their continued exploration of Mars.
The agency won’t give too many details on what exactly the big reveal is, apart from the fact that the briefing will feature some pretty big names at the space agency (including Jim Green, director of planetary science at NASA HQ; Michael Meyer, the lead scientist for the Mars Exploration Program; Lujendra Ojha, a grad student at Georgia Tech; Mary Beth Wilhelm at NASA’s Ames Research Center, and a grad student at Georgia Tech as well; and Alfred McEwen at the University of Arizona in Tucson).
Nevertheless, there are some clues from the speakers and from the chatter over the web in the last few weeks that we can use to speculate what the big discovery might be.
First up, the odd-person out at the news conference is Ojha, a Ph.D candidate in planetary science at Georgia Tech. Why would NASA invite a grad student to speak at announcement like this?
Back in 2011, Ojha sort of accidentally discovered “possible flows of salt water on Mars.” Ojha was studying gullies on Mars that seemed to be indicative of past water activity, and stumbled upon evidence of liquid, briny water that seemed to spring up in finger-like dark flows — known as “recurring slope lineae,” or RSL — on surface of the planet during warm seasons.
That discovery was made while Ojha, as an undergrad at the University of Arizona, was conducting an independent project with McEwen. The pair, along with other collaborators, published a paper in Science detailing their findings. It caused a huge stir, and scientists went to work trying to confirm this.
Ojha continued to work on this after moving onto Georgia Tech to start his graduate studies, presumably in collaboration with Wilhelm. There’s a good chance the presence of both of them, plus McEwen, at Monday’s announcement means NASA will be revealing something big about the RSL sites.
What’s more, the RSL sites have been a hotly-discussed topic in space research circles in the last few weeks. The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter has taken images of RSL fading in cooler months but rising back up again in the same locations during warmer months. Over 200 scientists gathered at the second Mars 2020 Landing Site Workshop in Monrovia, California last month to discuss, among other things, what the RSL sites might be and how they needed to be studied in the future.
If the discovery is indeed liquid water, it could be that the source is underground — and that flowing water might exist under the surface of Mars.
And where there is water, there is the potential for life.
Is any of this true? Is NASA going to tell us there is a flowing river or planet-wide ocean sitting underneath all of that red rock? We’ll have to wait till Monday to confirm. Try not to nerdgasm everywhere.

But Schroeder isn't the only one who has attempted to explain miracles in the bible with science.

According to an in-depth report by Atlas Obscura, Schroeder's believes time when the universe was created was about a trillion times slower, due to what he calls the 'stretching factor' in Einstein's equations.
Einstein's model of 'general relativity,' the faster things go, the slower time moves. And Schroeder says because light moves so fast, it affects time.
Schroeder argues that change in perspective changed the meaning of the six days. Six of these 24-trillion-hour days come out to a little over 14 billion years
'When the Bible describes the day-by-day development of our universe in the six days following the creation, it is truly referring to six 24-hour days,' he writes.
'But the reference frame by which those days were measured was one which contained the total universe.'
Schroeder argues that change in perspective changed the meaning of the six days. Six of these 24-trillion-hour days come out to a little over 14 billion years.
His theory has been widely dismissed. Peter Enns, a biblical scholar, said its 'absurd that you can actually find physics in Genesis I.'

Another event in the Bible that has been targeted by scientists is Moses's parting of the Red Sea, in time for the Israelites to cross and escape the Pharoh's encroaching army.
In 2010, Carl Drew, a researcher at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), transformed the Exodus's story of the Red Sea parting into a computer model.
He changed the 'strong east wind' into ones that were 63 miles per hour, applied it to a reconstruction of a spot in the Nile Delta,
He concluded that this could indeed have 'divided the waters.'

FLOODS AND FAMINE MAY HAVE KICKSTARTED WORLD'S RELIGIONS
They often form a central part of most biblical stories, but it appears that floods, famines and plagues may have also helped to start belief in some gods in the first place.

The findings may help to shed light on how religions such as Christianity, Judaism and Islam first emerged and why stories of hardship play such a central role.
In the 1990s, drawing on archaeological and anthropological evidence, Colombia University geologists William Ryan and Walter Pitman claimed that 'ten cubic miles of water poured through each day', and that the deluge continued for at least 300 days.
More than 60,000 square miles of land were flooded, and the lake's level rose by hundreds of feet after merging with the Mediterranean, triggering mass animal migrations across Europe.
The researchers, whose findings have been backed up by carbon dating and sonar imaging, claim that the story of Noah's flood had its origin in this cataclysmic event.

It looks like an Ostrich egg is questioning the age of the Pyramids of Giza postulated by mainstream archaeology.
Some evidence casts doubt on the actual chronology of Egyptian pharaohs. The Turin King List, also known as the Turin Royal Canon, raises many questions that science does not seem to accept. Despite attempts at reconstruction, approximately 50% of the papyrus remains missing. This papyrus as presently constituted is 1.7 m long and 0.41 m wide, broken into over 160 fragments.
The Egyptian hieratic papyrus thought to date from the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II contradicts the established dates and chronologies on the Egyptian world. Researchers are coming across great amount of information which suggests that Egypt is much older than what archaeology and history are telling us.
The Turin King List is currently located over 3000 kilometers from the land of the Pharaohs, deposited in the Egyptian museum in Turin, Italy. It was discovered in 1822 by Bernardino Drovetti in the ancient Egyptian capital of Thebes. The list was translated by Jean-François Champollion, known primarily as the decipherer of the Egyptian hieroglyphs and a founding figure in the field of Egyptology. Even though the The Turin King List has numerous historical details, modern-day archaeology has chosen to ignore it.
The Shemsu Hor
Accordion to the Turin King List, Egypt was ruled by beings -half man, half gods who received the name or title of Shems Hor (the “companions of Horus”). The 1.7 meter long list tells a different story than that accepted by mainstream Egyptologists. The Turin King list points to the fact that the first government in the Nile Valley was not that of Pharaoh Menes 5000 years ago as archaeology believes, but around 11,000 years ago. This revolutionary king list appears ratified largely by another story equally despised by archaeologists: The texts of Manetho dating back to 240 BC. Manetho, who was a priest of the sun-god Ra at Heliopolis was commissioned by Pharaoh Ptolemy II to write the history of Egypt from the beginning. According to Manetho, before Menes, the first pharaohs of the First Dynasty, Egypt was ruled by a demigods for thousands of years. The Greco-Egyptian high priest does not mention the Hor Shems like The Turin King list, but the coincidence is incredible.
There are more artifacts that suggest the history of Egypt is wrong. A Orstrich egg deposited in the Museum of Nubia, south of Egypt suggests ancient Egypt is older than we are told by history and archaeology. The discovery was made by English archaeologist, Mallaby Cecil Firth in 1907. The egg, painted and deposited in the tomb, had several different drawings on its surface, on one side it had depictions of plants and ostriches while on the other side, an impossible scenery: The Great Pyramids of Giza.
This discovery is incredible just because of the depiction of the pyramids. Why? Because according to researchers, the human remains found at tomb 96 where the Ostrich egg was found date back to the Nagada I culture; 7000 years ago. This is something impossible since Archaeology and history tell us that the pyramids at the Giza plateau are around 4.500 years old.
So who is wrong? Ancient texts and depictions of the pyramids that date back thousands of years ago? Or archaeologists and historians who firmly hang onto their beliefs?

UFOs exist – that much we should all be willing to concede.
But let’s quickly clarify that UFOs are very likely notaliens from outer space. They are simply objects that are flying and whose identification has eluded us for the time being. Simply put, they are, as the name implies, unidentified flying objects.
If, one day, extraterrestrial intelligence were ever to be discovered (especially here on Earth), then it would require extraordinary and reliable evidence. After all, one could argue that this would be the greatest discovery for humanity to finally answer the question… are we alone?
So, blurry pictures, shaky videos, and spooky anecdotes aside, here are 20 things to consider before coming to the conclusion that what you’re seeing or hearing about is actually a UFO piloted by an alien from outer space…
Lightning Sprites
Sprites are large electrical discharges that occur above thunderstorm clouds. They can be in various shapes and are sometimes even preceded by a sprite halo, which is pancake-shaped (a-la-UFO). Sprites are visible from the ground but have also been reported by pilots and seen from space.

Missile Tests
Remember the viral video about the UFO spiral in Norway? The military is constantly testing new technology, and sometimes we’re fortunate enough to witness their failures. In this particular case, it was the Russian’s testing their Bulova missile. When its rocket motor spun out of control, it created the spiral of white light near where the missile was launched from a submarine in the White Sea.
Hole punch clouds (also known as fallstreak holes) are a rare type of spectacular cloud formation which looks like a hole was literally punched through the clouds. They are formed when the water temperature in the clouds is below freezing but the water has not actually frozen yet. When the conditions are right and ice crystals form (perhaps as a result of a jet flying through) it sets off a domino effect causing the water droplets around the crystals to evaporate. This leaves a large (often circular or elliptical) hole in the clouds which can give the illusion of a UFO. Another cloud type – lenticular clouds – are also commonly mistaken for flying saucers.
Weather balloons come in all shapes and sizes, and depending on the viewer’s vantage point, they can easily be misidentified as a UFO. Even at night, they can be lit up by the sun on the day-side of the Earth, making the illusion of a UFO all the more convincing.

Venus (or Other Planets)
The planet Venus is very often mistaken for an airplane, satellite, or UFO. It’s the second brightest object in the sky – only the moon is brighter – and sometimes is reported by people driving in cars that it’s a fast moving object, hovering 500 ft or so above the horizon. Because Venus is close to the Sun, it never ventures far from the horizon – exactly where you’d expect to see a landing airplane… or apparently, a flying saucer.
Bonus fact: Venus is so bright that it can even be seen during daylight – this is known as a daylight disc. Because this is a rare and quite an unusual sight, it’s often reported as a UFO.

Illumination Flares
Illumination flares dropped from planes can give the illusion of multiple bright objects moving in the sky in “formation”. Perhaps one of the most famous examples occurred on March 13th, 1997, when, starting at around 10PM, hundreds of not thousands of people in the Phoenix area witnessed a row of brilliant lights hovering in the sky, and then slowly falling. As explained in the Wikipedia article on the Phoenix Lights:
The U.S. Air Force explained the second event as slow-falling, long-burning LUU-2B/B illumination flares dropped by a flight of four A-10 Warthog aircraft on a training exercise at the Barry Goldwater Range at Luke Air Force Base. According to this explanation, the flares would have been visible in Phoenix and appeared to hover due to rising heat from the burning flares creating a “balloon” effect on their parachutes, which slowed the descent. The lights then appeared to wink out as they fell behind the Sierra Estrella, a mountain range to the southwest of Phoenix.
A Maryland Air National Guard pilot, Lt. Col. Ed Jones, responding to a March 2007 media query, confirmed that he had flown one of the aircraft in the formation that dropped flares on the night in question. The squadron to which he belonged was in fact at Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona on a training exercise at the time and flew training sorties to the Barry Goldwater Range on the night in question, according to the Maryland Air National Guard. A history of the Maryland Air National Guard published in 2000 asserted that the squadron, the 104th Fighter Squadron, was responsible for the incident. The first reports that members of the Maryland Air National Guard were responsible for the incident were published in The Arizona Republic newspaper in July 1997.
With the increased popularity of light decorations like Chinese lanterns, it’s no coincidence that UFO reports have also increased. And there’s good reason – from a distance, Chinese lanterns look very strange – hovering brilliantly in the sky, slowly moving. When there’s a group of lanterns at once, they tend to move in unison due to the wind giving the appearance of multiple flying objects in the sky.
Airplanes, Helicopters, Drones, Satellites, or the ISS
If an airplane is flying directly at you at night, its lights will appear very bright and may fluctuate in size. At the same time, because its going towards you (rather than horizontally) it will look like it’s hovering in place. Helicopters and drones can produce a similar effect (in fact, pranksters have attached very bright LEDs to quadrocopters to make it look like a UFO).
Satellites and the ISS can also move across the sky in an eerie fashion, and can appear especially bright depending on atmospheric conditions and their position relative to the Sun.

Military Experiments or Aircraft
The late 1940s and early 1950s were a great time for spotting UFOs and aliens in New Mexico, primarily because that’s where the Air Force was conducting some of its top-secret research. One such program was known as Project Mogul and involved floating microphone-carrying balloons to high altitudes in an attempt to pick up the sound waves generated by Soviet atomic bomb tests. The Air Force has since confirmed that a 1947 crash of one of those balloons created the debris that birthed the Roswell UFO Incident (more on that below).
On another occasion, residents of County Cowley, Kansas, thought a UFO had been captured and was being transported through town. Much to the dismay of ufologists, a spokesperson for Northrop Grumman (an aircraft manufacturer) revealed that the object was a covered wingless version of its X-47B craft being transported from California’s Edwards Air Force Base to Patuxent River, Maryland. It was further explained that they shrink-wrapped the rest of the fuselage after taking the wings off the drone for the cross-country road trip.
Despite countless admissions from pranksters, people continue to believe that crop circles are a message from aliens. However, conspiracy theorists argue that “that’s what they’d like us to believe“…
Was the discovery of a face on Mars an example of alien architecture? No, but it’s a great example of pareidolia.
This phenomenon – detecting something clear and distinct from an apparently obscure stimulus – is called “pareidolia“. Carl Sagan hypothesized that, as a survival technique, human beings are “hard-wired” from birth to identify the human face. This allows people to use only minimal details to recognize faces from a distance and in poor visibility but can also lead them to interpret random images or patterns of light and shade as being faces. If you look at modern high resolution images of the Face on Mars, it’s clearly just the shape of the natural landscape.

The Roswell Incident and Alien Autopsy Was a Hoax
In 1995, a grainy, black-and-white film surfaced that had supposedly been shot by the military shortly after the Roswell incident in 1947 (which we previously discussed was the crash from Project Mogul). The video shows a post-mortem dissection of an alien body, and was touted as evidence of what some UFO buffs had claimed all along: that alien bodies had been recovered from the Roswell crash site by the U.S. government.
Soon after the alien autopsy footage was broadcast on Fox television, serious doubts were raised about its authenticity. Skeptics (and even many UFO researchers) branded the film a hoax, pointing out anachronisms and inconsistencies in the film. In 2006, the special effects artist who created the alien body shown in the video confessed that it was in fact an elaborate hoax.2
The Term “Flying Saucer” is the Result of Poor Reporting
The familiar term “flying saucer” is actually the result of a reporter’s error. After interviewing Kenneth Arnold about his sighting, a reporter from the Eastern Oregonian newspaper reported that Arnold saw round, aerial objects (in fact he said they were “crescent shaped”). Arnold said that the objects “flew erratic, like a saucer if you skip it across the water”—not that what he saw resembled an actual saucer.
Yet that “saucer” interpretation stuck, prompting many eyewitnesses to repeat (and hoaxers to duplicate) Arnold’s nonexistent description. This strongly shows the role of suggestion in UFO sightings; as skeptic Marty Kottmeyer asks, “Why would extraterrestrials redesign their craft to conform to [the reporter’s] mistake?” Also, one should ask, “Where were all the UFO sightings before the article was publicized by mass media?”

Alien Abductions Are a Product of Our Culture
In The Demon-Haunted World, astronomer Carl Sagan points out that the alien abduction experience is remarkably similar to tales of demon abduction common throughout history.
“There is no spaceship in these stories. But most of the central elements of the alien abduction account are present, including sexually obsessive non-humans who live in the sky, walk through walls, communicate telepathically, and perform breeding experiments on the human species. Unless we believe that demons really exist, how can we understand so strange a belief system, embraced by the whole Western world (including those considered the wisest among us), reinforced by personal experience in every generation, and taught by Church and State? Is there any real alternative besides a shared delusion based on common brain wiring and chemistry?”

Alien Implants Aren’t From Aliens
It is claimed that aliens have implanted various objects in human abductees. Victims claim to have found small objects in their bodies and come to the conclusion they must have been abducted. Some alien implants have even been recovered, and when they are tested, they are found to be indestructible or of materials not found on Earth. Really?
Using the magic of science, we can test this.
Joe Nickell, a columnist for Skeptical Inquirer magazine, noted that, “Since 1994, alleged implants have been surgically recovered but they’ve become remarkably diverse: one looks like a shard of glass, another a triangular piece of metal, still another a carbon fiber, and so on. None was located in the brain or nasal cavity, instead being recovered from such extremities as toe, hand, shin, external ear, etc.; some were accompanied by scars while others were not. As physicians know, a foreign object can enter the body unnoticed, as during a fall, or while running barefoot in sand or grass—even as a splinter from a larger impacting object.” People find all sorts of weird things in their bodies, but so far none are of alien origin.
UFOs are usually observed by untrained people and almost never by professional or amateur astronomers who spend their lives staring up at the skies looking for extraterrestrial life. They’re never captured in picture or video with high end optical equipment that can be properly analyzed in greater detail. Isn’t that a bit odd? Don’t you think that since SETI (whose sole mission is to find extraterrestrial life) would have found something, anything – anything! – that could confirm at least one of the many alleged UFO videos or pictures out there?
Also, one would think that with the increased availability of smart phones to take video and photos, you’d see many more high quality videos and photos of UFOs, but in fact, the videos are just as lousy – they’re out-of-focus and just as shaky.
The Drake Equation
The Drake Equation, developed by Frank Drake in 1961, is a tool to estimate the odds of finding intelligent life in the universe. The estimates for the variables are rife with debate, but as technology improves, the estimates for each of the variables become more accurate.
Plug in some numbers and try it out for yourself – the odds are still exceptionally low that intelligent alien life is even out there, let alone hovering in our backyard.
Just because “we don’t know” doesn’t make it a UFO
Now, since the majority of UFOs can be explained, what about the ones that can’t? One must be careful to not fall into the trap of “just because we can’t explain it, therefore, aliens”.
Sure, there are some cases of UFOs that are legitimately unidentifiable – that is, we still don’t know what they are. But the fact that some pilots or scientists claim that cannot think of an explanation is not proof that they have observed an extraterrestrial spacecraft. It simply means they don’t know what they saw.
It seems reasonable to believe that the main reason we can’t explain some UFO sightings is because we simply do not have enough evidence. If we had more evidence, these sightings could very likely be explained by conventional means.
I don’t know… therefore, aliens!
But you can’t prove what I saw was NOT a UFO!
Another common tactic of UFOlogists is to claim that the skeptic cannot prove that what was seen was not an alien craft. One is supposed to infer from this fact that the perception probably was of an alien craft. This kind of reasoning is known as the argumentum ad ignorantiam. A claim does not become true or reasonable if a contrary claim cannot be proved to be true. With arguments for UFOs there are two distinct moves here.
One is to claim that no logical explanation is possible because some scientist, pilot, Air Force Colonel, or Ph.D. cannot think of one. This logical fallacy is known as the “Argument from Authority”. If an authority says “it’s gotta be a UFO, then it’s gotta be a UFO”. Not true.
The other is to point to the lack of contrary evidence: no counter-testimony of other eyewitnesses, no proof that there were not aliens or alien spacecraft. Here, too, there is a logical fallacy. The fact that someone can’t come up with an explanation for something is irrelevant to deciding whether the correct explanation should be couched in terms of aliens from outer space.
The choice is not either (A) we know this explanation is correct or (B) we must conclude that aliens have visited us.
Of the many paranormal ideas/mysteries/legends out there, UFOs and “intelligent aliens” are at least somewhat plausible – though unfortunately I think there is an reasonably high probability that the human race will never encounter intelligent beings from outer space. But one can hope that one day, extraordinary evidence will presented and we will celebrate the proof that we are not alone in this universe…
I want to believe… and I will only believe once extraordinary evidence is presented to me…

Een documentaire over een gebeurtenis die (nog) nooit heeft plaatsgevonden: onze eerste ontmoeting met buitenaards leven.
Het VN-bureau voor Outer Space Affairs in Wenen, vooraanstaande wetenschappers van NASA, ESA en de International Space University (ISU) vertellen over hoe zij het eerste contact aanpakken. En wat daar allemaal bij komt kijken, zowel sociaal als psychologisch maar ook juridisch. De film schetst een ijzingwekkend geloofwaardig scenario van het eerste contact. Te beginnen met de meest eenvoudige vraag, zoals: waarom ben je hier?
The Visit: An Alien Encounter opent deuren van instanties en laat een werkelijkheid zien die vervreemdender is dan sciencefiction. De film laat zien hoe we het onbekende benaderen, maar legt vooral ook onze angsten en hoop bloot.
Op 8 oktober zal The Visit in de Nederlandse bioscopen te zien zijn. In deze documentaire is de vraag niet of, maar hoe de mensheid zal omgaan met buitenaardse wezens. Er worden scenario’s geschetst van wetenschappelijke, politieke en mogelijk militaire protocollen. De documentaire onderzoekt daarmee vooral wat het betekent om mens te zijn, en waarom we naar de sterren kijken, op zoek naar buitenaards leven.
1) Er zijn minimaal vier verschillende soorten buitenaardsen die de aarde de afgelopen duizenden jaren hebben bezocht.
2) De soorten hebben waarschijnlijk verschillende agenda’s en dienen niet beschouwd te worden als van hetzelfde ras.
3) Een van die soorten is wat men noemt de Tall Whites. Volgens Hellyer werkt dit type samen met de Verenigde Staten.
4) Er leven op dit moment buitenaardsen op aarde.
Volgens ufoloog Scott C. Waring is de plek waar de Tall Whites wonen een ondergrondse basis op het terrein van Nellis AFB.
Bekijk met dat alles in het achterhoofd de video onderaan dit artikel. Het is een opname die enkele dagen geleden is gemaakt bij Nellis AFB. Dan zie je beelden van onbekende vliegende objecten boven de luchtmachtbasis.
Volgens Scott is de maker van onderstaande video erin geslaagd om een vertrekkend of aankomend schip van de Tall Whites vast te leggen.
De maker van de video zegt dat dit niet de eerste keer is dat hij dit soort merkwaardige vliegende objecten vastlegt op die locatie. Hij verbaast zich het meest over de technologie die achter deze schepen moet zitten. De manier waarop ze van een bolvorm plotseling veranderen in een rij van objecten, zich vervolgens verspreiden en wegvliegen.
Zo zegt hij, “Wanneer iemand mij vertelt dat onze luchtmacht hun tijd 25 jaar vooruit is dan zou ik daarop zeggen: meer dan 1.000 jaar en deze opnames bewijzen het”.
Zo blijft de vraag bestaan of we hier te maken heb met een schip van de Tall Whites zoals Scott Waring denkt of met een vliegend object van de Amerikaanse luchtmacht dat misschien onderdeel uitmaakt van de geheime ruimtevloot.
