Airplane Passenger Captures UFO Fleet Hovering Below His Plane [HD]
A fleet of UFOs was captured on tape by a passenger aboard of a jet airliner flying to Taiwan. The man succeeded in filming this incredible ‘flock’ of UFOs until a stewardess urged him to turn off the phone due to the landing policy.
After the case was reported to MUFON on October 23, 2014, analysts and UFO hunters alike have tried to find a reasonable explanation for this spectacular sighting, but ended up with no reasonable explanation, other than a UFO scenario, and so the case remained unexplained.
The bright UFOs visible on the plane window do not resemble to any known crafts. They appear relatively small in size and their circular shape is a good indicator that they are if otherworldly origin. Also, the strange orbs are flying at a lower altitude than the jet airliner, right above the clouds that provide a perfect cover-up from ground radars and other devices that could spy on them from below.
Are these flying orbs following or spying on the plane, or is it that they’ve been surprised by the airliner’s passenger by pure coincidence? From what the witness revealed, it appears that a powerful light coming from the window first caught his attention.
I was on the airplane of Eva Airline from Canada to Taiwan, the witness stated. It was October 16, 2014, 30 minutes before landing. The first clip was only five seconds. I saw a bright light flying under. In the second picture I saw three UFOs in my camera.
The third video I have is 38 seconds and it shows about eight UFOs flying under the plane. I used slow motion to film the video until they asked me to turn my camera off due to landing policy. The location is at the northeast of Taiwan, he added.
We can see clearly how the bright orbs are flying just above the clouds while at the same time maintaining the same speed as the plane. They don’t appear to have an organized formation like a military squad would be aligned, therefor raising many questions about their origins and purpose. Could these be alien crafts? Or is it that the military is testing their new toys?
After further analyzing the case, we’ve discovered a lot of similarities between these UFOs and the bright orbs reported all over the world. The objects are flying at the same altitude, which most of the time is just above or below the clouds and have the same features in shape and brightness. While further zooming in, they appear to pulsate, thus explaining the powerful flash of light that caught the attention of the witness.
These curious bright orbs were seen by UFO hunters countless times and are either interfering with some presumed chem trails, or they perform dynamic rituals on the night sky by executing some law-defying maneuvers.
This however, is a rare piece of footage surprised from above, and it reveals an alarming number of these orbs, as well as an oblivious interest in our earthly aircrafts. Why are these UFOs not going for a more cautious approach, behind the plane or even on its sides, instead of revealing themselves so carelessly? Is it because they are already used to our extreme ignorance or maybe because we’re talking about secret military technology here?
Whatever the case, this phenomenon is becoming more and more alarming, and as their numbers increase, so is their level of carelessness towards us. If these orbs are indeed of extraterrestrial origins, military devices or even artificial intelligence, we are yet to find out, but based on their fearless behavior, it might not take that long until they publicly reveal themselves to the world.

If life ever existed on Mars, its last outposts near the Red Planet's surface might have been in very salty environments, new research shows.
This premise might help guide where future rovers land to look for signs of past or present Mars life, scientists say.
The idea that Mars may have once hosted life is rooted in plentiful evidence suggesting that rivers, lakes and seas covered the Red Planet billions of years ago. Because there is life virtually everywhere there is liquid water on Earth, some researchers have suggested that life might have evolved on Mars when it was wet, and that life could perhaps survive on the planet even now. Currently, the search for signs of possible life on Mars is mostly focused on ancient wet habitats. However, researchers now suggest that future missions to Mars might also want to consider drier places that past Martian life might have inhabited.
Although Mars might once have possessed lots of water on its surface, it dried over time, and is now an extremely arid planet. In the new study, scientists reason that ancient Martian microbes might have colonized the land just as life did on Earth, and then adapted to the Red Planet's increasing aridity.
To reconstruct how ancient Martian life might have evolved to survive the drying of Mars, scientists investigated adaptations to aridity on Earth. They found that "there is a predictable sequence of how organisms adapt to increasing dryness," said study co-author Dirk Schulze-Makuch, an astrobiologist at Washington State University in Pullman.
In Earth's arid regions, many organisms can dry up without dying and can resume life quickly after rehydration, even after years of complete desiccation. Biological soil crusts made of relatively complex communities of microbes can cover up to 70 percent of the surfaces of some deserts, the researchers said.

However, a dramatic change is seen when a region shifts from arid to hyperarid. Biological soil crusts become increasingly fragmented or patchy, and there is a significant decline in microbes' abundance and diversity. Instead, microbes in hyperarid areas are usually lithobiontic — that is, they colonize either the surface, underside or interior of rocks, the researchers said.
In the driest regions of the Earth, relatively complex and abundant communities of microbes can still survive inside porous crusts made of salt. These crusts are hygroscopic — in other words, they tend to absorb moisture directly from the air, the researchers said.
The researchers suggested that, as Mars dried, microbes eventually might have evolved to subsist on atmospheric moisture. Liquid brines within salt crusts might have served as the last available habitats for life near the Martian surface, Schulze-Makuch said.
"The last near-surface life on Mars would most likely be associated with salts," Schulze-Makuch told Space.com.
The scientists suggested that these refuges may have disappeared only recently — or may still exist. As such, future missions to Mars may want to analyze salty rocks, he said.
Schulze-Makuch noted that it's also possible that life survived deep underground on Mars, "such as within lava-tube caves."
Schulze-Makuch and his colleague Alfonso Davila at the SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) Institute in Mountain View, California, detailed their findings online Feb. 2 in the journal Astrobiology.

For the first time in history, scientists have physical proof that pairs of black holes will sometimes circle around each other, collide and mush together to form a single, bigger black hole.
This news of binary-pair detection is extremely significant for astrophysicists, but it was somewhat eclipsed by the simple fact that the Large Interferometer Gravitational Wave Observatory (LIGO) had detected gravitational waves at all. It was the first instance of a direct detection of these ripples through space-time, and it marks the dawn of a new subfield of astronomy.
Vicky Kalogera, a black hole scientist at Northwestern University in Illinois and a member of the LIGO team, said it was appropriate that gravitational waves took center stage last week. But she took some time to talk to Space.com about why the pair of black holes that LIGO detected is particularly strange and exciting, too. There are two things that make the pair of black holes detected by LIGO interesting to astrophysicists like Kalogera.
One of the ways that black holes are thought to form in the universe is via star death. The hypothesis goes that when massive stars stop burning fuel, all their mass collapses down into a very small area, and creates an object with such a massive gravitational pull that not even light can escape. The gravity is so intense that the laws of physics, as humans understand them, break down.
Individual black holes have been observed in various ways, but until last week, there was no physical proof that black holes can exist as binary pairs that circle around each other and eventually collide.
"We see binary stars all the time," Kalogera told Space.com. It should follow that those star pairs should one day die and form black-hole pairs. And yet, "up until now, we had zero experimental evidence, even indirect, that binary black holes exist. … So, the significance of this discovery from an astrophysics point of view is that it confirms all the theoretical predictions that binary black holes exist."
Without a gravitational-wave detector like LIGO, scientists would never have been able to study binary black holes. Researchers can spot individual black holes in distant locations because material around those objects gets accelerated and radiates light.
But Kalogera said scientists don't expect to see any kind of light radiated from around two black holes spinning toward each other and colliding, because the dynamics of the system would be very chaotic, and not very conducive to material accumulating and staying nearby. So detecting them with light-based telescopes may be impossible.
The fact that the recently upgraded LIGO detector spotted a binary black hole merger so early in the instrument's observation period means there's a chance that scientists will have a lot of black hole data to study in the coming years.
Stirred, Not Shaken - How Colliding Black Holes Make Waves | Video
The second really interesting feature of the black hole duo is their mass.
The colliding black holes detected by the LIGO collaboration have 29 and 36 times the mass of the sun, respectively. These are not, by any stretch, the most massive black holes ever detected. The black hole at the center of the Milky Way, for example, is more than 4 million times the mass of the sun. The most massive black holes in the universe seem to be about 12 billion times the mass of the sun. It's still a mystery how these exceptionally massive black holes form.
Using X-ray telescopes, scientists have identified black holes that seem to have formed from stars similar to Earth's sun, but Kalogera said those black holes reach a maximum mass of about 20 times that of the sun. Black holes with masses of 29 and 36 times that of the sun are somewhat hard to explain.
"The 29 and 30-plus solar masses come as an unusual surprise. If you look at most binary stars in [the Milky Way] galaxy, given the composition of the stars, we don't expect black holes of this mass," Kalogera said. "The higher mass tells us that these binary black holes formed from a particular environment [with a] metallicity that is different than [the sun's] metallicity."
Metallicity refers to the fraction of the star that is not made up of hydrogen or helium, but instead consists of heavier elements.
A higher concentration of hydrogen and helium allows the star to retain more of its mass through its lifetime, Kalogera said. Stars continuously loose mass because of stellar wind, a flow of particles away from a star's atmosphere. But in the past seven or eight years, scientists have revised their theories to show that stellar winds are weaker than previously thought.
"If those winds are very strong, you end up with final masses that are very small and you don't form heavy black holes," Kalogera said. "Around in the late 2000s, estimates of how strong [solar] winds are were revised. … Astrophysicists realized from electromagnetic observations that the winds are weaker than we thought. So, if you now put weaker winds in your stellar models, your final masses are heavier, so you're getting these heavy black holes to form in your models. … By now, many groups have confirmed those predictions."
The detection by LIGO further corroborates those theories, but this is just the beginning. More observations of black hole binaries will help scientists refine their models even more.
One major question Kalogera said she hopes astrophysicists will eventually be able to answer is how black hole binaries form. There are two leading models, which she refers to as "vanilla" and "wacky."
Many stars in the universe live as binaries, because stars are born in clouds of gas and dust and these stellar nurseries typically have more than enough material to form multiple stars.
The "vanilla" description of binary black-hole formation starts with a happy, stable pair of normal stars, living their lives in relative peace. They grow up together, they get old, they both explode into supernovas, then collapse into black holes. After that, they stick together and eventually merge.
The "wacky" idea is a bit more chaotic.
"They're dancing, basically, in a swirl of stars, flying around, and sometimes, through recoils, [the stars] can shoot some of the other stars out of the cluster," Kalogera said.
So it could be that binary black holes form from stars that weren't born in the same litter, but were flung from their original homes. Or, these complicated interactions could also lead to scenarios in which multiple, newly formed black holes can move toward the center of a stellar group. There, some of them would be ejected while others remain, forming stable binaries only after becoming black holes.
Eventually, with a larger sample of binary black holes from LIGO, Kalegera said scientists may be able to discern which formation method dominates in the universe.
"We'll be able to tell whether wacky wins or the more vanilla [model]," she said.
Kalogera and the other members of the LIGO scientific collaboration published a paper in The Astrophysical Journal Letters that describes what the researchers have already learned about the newly discovered black hole pair, and how that fits with current theories.
On February 15, Britain’s Express newspaper announced that a new whistleblower is about to publicly emerge with thousands of documents concerning extraterrestrial life. Nick Pope, a former government official that led an investigation by Britain’s Ministry of Defense into UFO files for three years, has declared that the whistleblower is a genuine insider.
The Express described the whistleblower as a third-class petty officer with the U.S. Navy who worked for three years (1986-1989) at the Naval Telecommunications Center within the former Naval Air Station at Moffet Field, near San Francisco, where he gained access to the documents.
The whistleblower, according to the Express, filed a report with the Mutual UFO Network on February 13 claiming he wants to promote “disclosure”. He was quoted as saying:
I’m not reporting a UFO sighting rather a UFO related experience. I have copies of my security clearances. I personally handled, viewed and delivered thousands of documents involving UFO/ET Projects. My secrecy agreement with the US Government expired in October 2014.
“He said that UFO/ET were real [sic] and that hopefully disclosure would happen in my lifetime since he was in his early 60s at the time.” In the report he said: “I was required to deliver TS Code word designation COSMIC to SRI, ESL/SYLVANIA, LOCKHEED SKUNKWORKS, TRW, RATHEON, BERKELEY LABS, LAWRENCE LIVERMORE LABS, and other think tanks throughout Silicon valley.”
The whistleblower’s background has important similarities with another recent whistleblower, William Tompkins, who also claims he worked with the U.S. Navy as a courier of highly classified information concerning extraterrestrial life and technology to major aerospace industries and think tanks from 1942 to 1945.
After this, Tompkins worked with a number of leading aerospace companies from 1947, which included Northrup, Lockheed, Douglas Aircraft Corporation, TRW, and General Dynamics. Tompkins has included a number of documents in his autobiography, Selected by Extraterrestrials. They reveal his work in designing kilometer long spacecraft in the 1950s and 1960s. These were eventually built and deployed by the U.S. Navy as space battle fleets in the 1980s.
Tompkins is working on the next edition to his autobiography where he will release more of the documents he accumulated during his military and corporate career that support his claims of U.S. Navy and corporate involvement in extraterrestrial/UFO projects.
Could the thousands of documents soon to be released by the new whistleblower mark the start of the long anticipated document dumps Secret Space Program whistleblower Corey Goode has been discussing since mid-2015?
A full disclosure event would consist of a major data dump on the Internet with many hundreds of thousands of document, audio and video files on multiple mirrored sites for everyone to have access to. There would be a collapse of the corporate media machine and a 24/7 television and radio education campaign would be initiated. Not all channels and stations would be co-opted so people are not overwhelmed and could “tune out” as they needed to due to the stress.
As originally envisaged, the document dumps would reveal all the truth about secret space programs and extraterrestrial alliances, and this would lead to war crimes trials and major global changes. A catalyzing event, such as global economic collapse, was argued by a Secret Space Program Alliance to be necessary for the document dumps plan to move forward.
In a previous article published on January 1, I wrote about recent meetings by elite groups which indicated that negotiations were secretly underway to prevent the catalyzing event from occurring:
A catalyzing event such as economic collapse, as Goode was told, could be prevented by a new financial system being put in place to reform the current financial system. Thus, China and other BRICS nations could come forward to rescue the tottering international financial system in exchange for a variety of benefits.
This has led to Goode’s current report that a decision has been made by an alliance of global elites and secret space program groups that the massive document dumps will not be going ahead after all. A more limited disclosure plan has been agreed upon, which will spread out the document releases over an extended period to allow the public to better acclimate to the disturbing information they contain.
I was told heavily credentialed people who have worked in the lower Military/Intelligence Secret Space Program are being prepped and coached to be whistleblowers and provide the public with the “truth”. This same group had a direct message sent to me that I should back off of the full disclosure narrative as it is “irresponsible to the public”.
Regarding the yet to be disclosed documents awaiting release by the new whistleblower, it will be important to evaluate these documents in terms of how accurately they detail the U.S. Navy’s involvement in extraterrestrial/UFO related projects. This will be seminal when it comes to revelations concerning the existence of secret space programs that Goode and other whistleblowers have previously disclosed, which are investigated in Insiders Reveal Secret Space Programs and Extraterrestrial Life.
Tompkins testimony, as discussed in a series of articles, provides an important basis for evaluating the new whistleblower’s claims and documents. This will help determine whether the new whistleblower’s testimony is part of a partial disclosure plan intended to cover up crimes in space, or a genuine disclosure initiative designed to acclimate the general public to what lies ahead.
As to whether Tompkins testimony itself is part of a full or partial disclosure plan, it’s important to point out that Tompkins received the go ahead to begin writing his autobiography in 2001 by Admiral Hugh Webster, a former Corporate Director of the U.S. Navy League. In 2009, Tompkins began collaborating with Dr. Robert Wood, a retired 43 year veteran with McDonnell Douglas, who was so impressed by Tompkins information and documents that he eventually became the book’s editor.
Selected by Extraterrestrialswas only recently released in December 2015, but its 14 year gestation means that it long predates elite negotiations over full and partial disclosure, some of which Goode claims to have attended beginning in March 2015. The 2001 approval by Admiral Webster suggests that Tompkins revelations are part of a U.S. Navy sanctioned disclosure plan that has been in place for some time, but is now moving into high gear.
Consequently, the February 13 report to MUFON by another U.S. Navy whistleblower suggests that the Navy is encouraging former personnel to openly blow the whistle on top secret projects involving extraterrestrial life and UFOs by coming forward, and releasing documents that substantiate their testimonies.
Different elite groups, secret space programs and ancient “Inner Earth” civilizations are currently negotiating over how much of the truth they are willing to reveal to humanity about their respective existence and the reality of extraterrestrial life. This is according to the latest startling update by Secret Space Program whistleblower, Corey Goode.
Goode claims that he was recently taken to the Kuiper Asteroid Belt where he witnessed a historic meeting between representatives of seven ancient Inner Earth civilizations, and a highly advanced group of extraterrestrials which Goode has previously referred to as the “Sphere Being Alliance”. The Inner Earth groups venerate members of the Sphere Being Alliance – whom they refer to as the “Guardians” – because they have been the ancient protectors of human civilizations on Earth going as far back as 18 million years.
In his January 14 update, Goode refers to the Kuiper Belt meeting as the third in series of meetings that began in early September 2015, which he discussed in a report released on September 23.
I have had 3 meetings where the “Inner Earth Breakaway Civilizations” were present. In one such meeting we met at a base in the Kuiper Belt where representatives of these breakaway groups finally had their chance to meet with the “Guardians”… Gonzales and I stood there for the entire meeting exchanging perplexed glances as the “Guardians” and the breakaway civilization representatives interfaced. They stood there silent and motionless accept for the slight waving of arms and legs of the “Guardian”.
In Goode’s September 23 report, he described a very intense emotional “mind meld” he had with “Kaaree” (Car-ee), a priestess from one of the Inner Earth groups. She was also present at the Kuiper Belt meeting. He said that the Kuiper Belt meeting with the “Guardians” had similar emotional effect on the Inner Earth representatives:
Once the exchange was over the members of the breakaway civilization were visibly shaken and overcome with excitement at the same time. I felt much of the same emotions coming from them as I did after the “mind meld” I had with Kaaree where I shared experiences and information from my adolescence. I was able to speak briefly with Kaaree as they were leaving. She was a little flustered and only made a few comments on her way down the hall.
Goode went on to assert:
I asked her how it went and she replied that her group and some of the more negative groups that had formed this ancient breakaway council had “not been proper stewards” of this planetary sphere. She was in an extreme hurry to get back to the meeting where the rest of the ancient breakaway groups were gathered.
Goode’s revelation that the “Guardians” told the Inner Earth beings that they have “not been proper stewards” is very significant. It suggests that the Inner Earth beings were being taken to task for one or more of their long standing policies dating back millennia. According to Goode’s September 23 report, these could well include collaborating with elites from Secret Societies manipulating surface humanity, yet maintaining strict separation from the rest of humanity, and their emphasis on maintaining genetic purity by isolating themselves.
This kind of chastisement from the Guardians/Sphere Being Alliances apparently led to dissension among the representatives of the seven Inner Earth Groups attending this unprecedented Kuiper Belt meeting.
It wasn’t until later that Lt. Col. Gonzales told me that this was the last meeting these 7 groups had together before a few groups split away soon after this historic meeting.
According to Goode, the Inner Earth group that Kaaree belonged to has decided to change their isolationist policy and begin revealing themselves to surface humanity:
I met with Kaaree again not long after I was briefed on the above information. She made it clear that some of the ancient breakaway groups had decided to take a slow approach to revealing their true identity to those they are in contact with on the surface. They will visit the ones they visit in craft and reach out ethereally to those they are in remote contact with. They are starting with a test group to see how they respond to the news.
Goode went on to describe how humanity is at a critical juncture as negotiations between different secret space programs, ancient breakaway civilizations and elite groups controlling surface humanity, move towards their final conclusion:

If we do not, we are giving “silent consent” to the negotiations between the Alliance and these Syndicates and their outcomes.
Goode says that he will soon release a long awaited conclusion to his September 23 reportalong with reports about more recent meetings he has attended.
While there is a great need to continue efforts to substantiate Goode’s incredible claims, there is also a need to be open to the possibility that his revelations about secret negotiations over full or partial disclosure of alien life, classified space programs and ancient breakaway civilizations are genuine.
Given current global events, it’s not hard to agree with Goode that humanity appears to be at an important cross roads – we are about to collectively decide how much of the truth we can handle about a great number of issues that have been previously withheld from us all.

Three weeks ago, headlines announced that the U.S. had detected a mysterious “dark” satellite wheeling overhead on a regular orbit. There was nervous speculation that it might be a surveillance satellite launched by the Russians, and it brought the uneasy sensation that the U.S. did not know what was going on over its own head. The ‘Alien Satellite’ is even said to have been seen in space “shadowing” the Sputnik 1 Spacecraft, when cosmonauts reported seeing a UFO in polar orbit around the planet.
Even more mysteriously, the Gruman Aircraft Corporation showed interest in the alleged Alien Satellite. On September 3, 1960, seven months after the satellite was first detected by radar, a tracking camera at Grumman Aircraft Corporation’s Long Island factory took a photograph of the Black Knight. At that point, people all over the world started identifying the object in the sky, which could be seen as a red light moving at higher speed compared to other satellites in an East to West orbit.
The same year, the Black Knight satellite was located once again in Polar Orbit. Astronomers and Scientists calculated the object’s weight to be over 10 tons which would be at that time the Heaviest Artificial Satellite to orbit our Planet.
Three years after allegedly spotting the Black Knight, when Gordon Cooper was launched into space, it is believed that he actually reported seeing a mysterious UFO, with a glowing green object in front of his capsule in the distance moving towards his Spacecraft. The Muchea tracking station, in Australia, which Cooper reported the object to, picked up this Unidentified object on Radar traveling East to West.
According to believers that suggest, we are being tracked by an alien satellite in polar orbit around Earth, the extraterrestrial satellite carries a mysterious message and originates from the Epsilon Bootes Star System, and was placed to monitor Earth around 13,000 years ago.
There are numerous enigmas surrounding the Black Knight. Today, we cannot know for sure whether we are looking at space debris (thermal Blanket) or something that originated from an otherworldly civilization. "These results confirm several very important predictions of Einstein's theory of general relativity," Hawking said in a BBC interview. "It confirms the existence of gravitational waves directly."
As is becoming clear, the direct detection of these ripples in spacetime not only confirm Einstein's famous theory of general relativity, they open our eyes to a previously "dark" universe. Astronomy uses the electromagnetic spectrum (such as visible light, X-rays, infrared) to study the universe, but objects that do not radiate in the electromagnetic spectrum will go unnoticed. But now we know how to detect gravitational waves, there could be a paradigm shift in how we detect and study some of the most energetic cosmic phenomena.
"Gravitational waves provide a completely new way of looking at the universe," said Hawking. "The ability to detect them has the potential to revolutionize astronomy."
Using LIGO's twin observing stations located in Louisiana and Washington, physicists not only detected gravitational waves; the gravitational waves they detected had a very clear signal that closely matched theoretical models of a black hole merger some 1.3 billion light-years away. Already, from initial analysis of the black hole merger signal, Hawking has realized that the system seems to align itself with theories he developed in the 1970's.
"This discovery is the first detection of a black hole binary system and the first observation of black holes merging," he said. "The observed properties of this system is consistent with predictions about black holes that I made in 1970 here in Cambridge."
Hawking is perhaps most renowned for his work on melding quantum theory with black hole physics, realizing that black holes evaporate over time, leading to his involvement in the fascinating "Firewall Paradox" that is continuing to rumble throughout the theoretical physics community. But here he refers to his black hole area theorem, which forms the basis of the "second law" of black hole mechanics. This law states that entropy, or the level of disorganization of information, cannot decrease within a black hole system over time. A consequence of this theorem is that should two black holes merge, like the Sept. 14 event, the combined event horizon area "is greater than the sum of the areas of the initial black holes." Also, Hawking points out that this gravitational wave signal appears to be in agreement with predictions based on the "no-hair theorem" of black holes, basically meaning a black hole can be simply described by its spin, mass and charge.
The details behind how this first gravitational wave signal of a black hole merger agrees with theory are complex, but it is interesting to know that this first detection has already allowed physicists to confirm decades-old theories that have, until now, had little to no observational evidence.
"This discovery also presents a puzzle for astrophysicists," said Hawking. "The mass of each of the black holes are larger than expected for those formed by the gravitational collapse of a star — so how did both of these black holes become so massive?"
This question touches on one of the biggest mysteries surrounding black hole evolution. Currently, astronomers are having a hard time understanding how black holes grow to be so massive. On the one end of the scale, there are "stellar mass" black holes that form immediately after a massive star goes supernova and we also have an abundance of evidence for the existence of the supermassive behemoths that live in the centers of most galaxies. There is a disconnect, however.
If black holes grow by merging and consuming stellar matter, there should be evidence of black holes of all sizes. But "intermediate mass" black holes and black holes of a few dozen solar masses are astonishingly rare, throwing some black hole evolution theories into doubt.
With the detection of gravitational waves on Sept. 14 came the realization that a black hole binary merger caused it. Two black holes, "weighing in" at 29 and 36 solar masses, collided and merged as one, generating a very clear gravitational wave signal. But, as pointed out by Hawking, how black holes of this specific mass came to being could provide some clues as to how black holes grow.
One thing is clear, however: This is the first time that we've acquired direct evidence of a black hole merger — a key mechanism that underlies black hole evolution theories — so it's good to know we're on the right track.

The UFO phenomenon is varied, ranging from unexplained sightings to alien abductions. Throughout the years, people have had bizarre flashbacks where otherworldly beings or even humans performed different actions on them, and although when awake they couldn’t recall a thing, under hypnosis the situation changed drastically.
According to researchers, this phenomenon is widespread throughout the society, and there may be hundreds of thousands of abductees all across the globe. Even though only a small number of these people have been investigated by researchers, the information gathered offers valuable insight and above all, all the related experiences appear to have common traits, thus leading towards the same source of abduction– aliens.
The beginning of the abduction phenomenon is pinpointed in the late nineteenth century, where cases of healthy people behaving unnaturally started to emerge. Probably the most popular abduction case comes from Nome, Alaska, where 24 people mysteriously disappeared between the 1960s and 2004. FBI homicide detectives who later investigated the case dismissed the Nome missing people’s file as being due to “excessive alcohol and a harsh winter climate.” However, there are other leads pointing at a possible alien abduction, a hypothesis which was strongly supported in the 2009 movie “The Fourth Kind.”
We’re not going to focus our attention on this case though, but on another fascinating story from the 70s, where a truck driver from Argentina claimed he had been abducted by three humanoids.

Dionisio Llanca was a skilled truck driver born in Ingeniero Jacobacci, Rio Negro, Argentina. He got out of bed on Saturday, 27 October 1973, unaware of the events that were about to happen. After he had dinner with his uncle Enrique Ruiz, he got into his Dodge 600 truck that was fully loaded with construction materials ready to be delivered to Rio Gallegos.
He left the house at about 12:30 AM on Sunday, and because of the skills developed in his 12 years career as a driver, he noticed something was wrong at the right rear tire. However, he decided to leave the problem for later, so he departed in a trip supposed to last for 2 days. On the way to Rio Gallegos, the tire got really low under the pressure of the heavy cargo and there was nothing that Dionisio could do to remediate the problem other than to get out of the truck in the blinding dark and attempt to fix it on his own. It was 01:15 AM when he began changing the tires, alone on a desolate road.
I braked the truck on the shoulder, got down, took out the jack and the tools and began to change the tire. The road was completely deserted. All at once the road was illuminated with an intense yellow light that seemed to be about 2,000 meters distant. Because of the color I thought that they might be the headlights of a Pugeot and continued with my work. A few seconds passed and I had my shoulder to the light but it became so bright that it lighted the whole area. Now the light had changed to a bluish color similar to an electric arc welder. I tried to get up but could not rise; I had no strength, and a strange thing – – my legs would not respond. I was on my knees. I wanted to get up and look towards the woods that grew along one side of the road.
Then I saw a great thing in the form of a plate suspended in the air at some seven meters altitude, and three persons at my shoulders looking at me. I tried once more to get up but could not. The paralysis became total and I could not even talk. The three beings stood looking at me for a long time, perhaps five minutes. They were two men and a woman. The woman was between the two men. I believed it was a woman because of the form of the breast and the long hair, blonde, reaching to the middle of her shoulders.
The men were also blond with shorter hair in back. The three were about the same height, one meter and 70 or 75 centimeters, and dressed in the same manner: single piece smoky gray coverall suits well fitted to the figure, yellow boots and long gloves reaching to the middle of the arm of the same color. They had no belts, nor weapons, nor helmets nor anything else. Their faces were like ours except for high foreheads and elongated eyes, like the Japanese and a little tilted. They talked among themselves in a language impossible for me to understand. They had no vocal inflections but sounded like a radio badly tuned with chirps and buzzes.
One of them grabbed me by the neck of my sweater and lifted me firmly but without violence. I tried to talk but my voice would not come out. While the one held me up another put an apparatus in the base of my index finger on the left hand. They looked closely at the apparatus. It was like a razor but had a small tube. They applied it to me for several seconds. It did not hurt. When they left I had two drops of blood on my finger, then I passed out.”
It was about 3 AM that Sunday when Dionisio woke up between two cars in the backyard of the Sociedad Rural Bahia Blanca, approximately 9 kilometers from where he met the alien humanoids. He couldn’t recall a single thing from the past experience nor his life, so he started to walk, but soon fainted away. When he woke up again, he followed route 3 walking disoriented until a driver stopped to pick him up for he was in danger of getting killed along that road. He ended up in a local police station, and was furtherly transferred to the Hospital Espanol because the policemen though he was intoxicated.
Doctor Ricardo Smirnoff from the Hospital Espanol diagnosed Dionisio as it follows:
The subject has no visible injuries, but refuses to be touched on the head as if he is having a profound ailment located there. There is also a barely unnoticed abrasion on his left eyelid.
His memory did not return, and he was constantly crying and asking in what city he was, until the hospital staff decided to move him to the Hospital Municipal. It was on October 30, at 10 AM when the man woke up in the other hospital with his memory fully restored. First thing he did was look for a cigarette and see what time it was, but all those items were missing except for his 150,000 pesos. Although he now recalled the entire alien experience in close-up, he was more worried about his truck, but fortunately, the police informed him they found it stationed on a roadside in Villa Bordeu, approximately 18 kilometers from the town of bahia Blanca.

The truth about extraterrestrial life isn’t known, and when it is, President Barack Obama will let you know.
That is the message Mr. Obama had for six-year-old “presidential expert” Macey Hensley in an interview broadcast Friday. Interviewed by Ms. Hensley on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Mr. Obama said humans haven’t contacted alien life.
“We haven’t actually made direct contact with aliens yet,” said Mr. Obama, with lawyerly precision. “When we do, I’ll let you know.”
Macey also wanted to know if Mr. Obama’s dogs had Secret Service protection.
“Bo and Sunny, they’re on their own. But usually we don’t let them out of the White House unless they’re with us,” he said, referring to his two Portuguese water dogs.
Mr. Obama taped an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday as part of California trip that included both business and pleasure. He is expected to spend the weekend golfing before a summit with Asian leaders next week.
“It’s always good to get out of Washington, which can sometimes be a little depressing,” he told host Ellen DeGeneres.
The lighthearted interview featured a video message from First Lady Michelle Obama to Mr. Obama in honor of Valentine’s Day. The first couple will be apart for the holiday.
“Roses are red. Violets are blue. You are the president. And I am your boo,” Mrs. Obama said in the message.
A new breed of humanoid robots may soon be serving your plane meal onboard an Airbus.
Joint Robotics Laboratory and the Airbus Group have merged together to launch a new Joint Research Program. This new partnership aims to develop humanoid robots that will be used for aviation manufacturing.
“Given the unique nature of aviation assembly and the specialized character of the tasks involved, Airbus Group has very well-defined needs,” explains Abderrahmane Kheddar, the director of the JRL. “For instance, robots must be capable of navigating through narrow spaces such as fuselages, and executing complex tasks from a variety of positions. In short, the manufacturer needs humanoid robots that can make human movements such as kneeling or leaning, and that can perform more sophisticated functions, such as screwing or torqueing,” adds Adrien Escande, the leader of the joint research program.
Since 2004, the team has been making advanced functions on the robots a reality rather than just science fiction.
“By combining Japanese expertise in hardware and robotics along with advanced French knowledge of mathematics and algorithms, we made encouraging initial progress in fields such as robot design and haptics, or tactile perception,” continues Kheddar. “We are now building on these achievements to develop multi-contact locomotion, which enables humanoid robots to move using not just their feet, but also other body parts such as elbows, knees, and hands, as a human would when crawling.”
NEW BREED OF HUMANOID ROBOTS
The project is called COMANOID (Multi-Contact Collaborative Humanoids) European research. They are focusing on the qualities that the robots will need to assist the aviation industry. In short, these humanoids need to be able to kneel, lean, and balance themselves on uneven surfaces. They have to be “trained” in safely moving around the passengers, the aircraft, and their fellow humanoids. They also need to perform tasks, like simple repairs and placing objects in their proper storage places.
The team is expanding these basics by working on more intricate movements that require improvement in two key areas: robot control and planning.
“To illustrate what this means, try to imagine a rock-climber,” suggests Adrien Escande. “To take the next step on a rock face, they must think ahead by identifying possible foot and handholds, and by deciding which movements to make, and in what sequence. This is the planning function. Then there is the control function, which enables the climber to adapt their movements in real-time based on uncalculated events, such as a slip or a gust of wind. We are currently using numerical optimization techniques and advanced algorithms to improve capacity in both of these areas.”
One example is having the humanoid open a panel in an aircraft at knee level. It has to accurately calculate its movements by knowing where to kneel, how to grasp handles, and where to place its hands for support and balance. The calculations should allow the humanoid to react immediately. In a situation where the humanoid needs to assist a human worker, it should be able to anticipate the human’s movements in real time. They should be able to work hand in hand in milliseconds.
No easy task.
To achieve this amazing feat, the researchers needed to model the robot’s perception and behavior. Everything that the humanoid does is based from mathematics. An action is translated as a mathematical problem, which then becomes an equation. The next step is to “solve” the mathematical problem using algorithms developed by scientists.

In the example given previously, about a humanoid opening a panel at knee-length, several calculations need to take place, such as balance, distance and counter-balancing force. For humans, our body adjusts automatically in these types of situations. For robots, we need to program them to “adjust” automatically using algorithms like bipedal locomotion, fall control, and contact force distribution.
THE ROBOTS OF THE FUTURE
With all of the impressive algorithms in place, the team is still trying to improve the robot’s learning capacity. They plan to “teach” these machines to eventually search information over the Internet by themselves.
Ultimately, the project will help robots learn new tasks such as cooking or putting paper in the printer simply by reading information from the Internet. These instructions will be stored in their knowledge base for future use. These various sources are then integrated by the robot in order to carry out the task. Eventually, they want to see robots that are independent and can find solutions to problems on their own.
AVIATION ROBOTS
Aside from airplanes, the humanoid robots will be adapted for helicopter and aerospace activities. Soon, they will also be used in other industries such as train or ship building, where there are more complex tasks at hand.
“It should be very clear that these humanoids are not intended to replace workers, but rather to offer them better working conditions by freeing them from chores that are physically-taxing or that involve contact with pollutants,” concludes Kheddar. “This enables workers to focus on the more skilled and value-added aspects of their activities. In other words, these robots are sophisticated tools intended to assist them as part of a synergistic human-robot collaboration.”
DARPA has announced that its latest submarine hunting drone, ACTUV, is ready for action - potentially starting a drone revolution in naval warfare.
NOT JUST ANOTHER DRONE
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) revealed back in 2010 that is was building an unmanned autonomous, submarine-hunting war machine. Essentially, the program was building a drone for naval warfare.
Now, DARPA has announced that its program is ready for live trials.
The Anti-Submarine Warfare Continuous Trail Unmanned Vessel, or ACTUV (pronounced as active) is scheduled to launch on April 17 from the Vigor Shipyards in Oregon. It will conduct sea-trials for 18 months following its maiden voyage, where it will begin tests for its long-range tracking and self-driving functions.
The eventual objective of ACTUV is to be able to track down enemy submarines in shallow waters. It is designed to operate autonomously for two to three months and eliminate the need for human crew members to guide and operate it. This lack of human crew will also reduce the chance for human error while it is searching for potential threats.
Its launching and trials are but a small part of of the Pentagon’s ongoing Third Offset strategy, which was devised to help the U.S. maintain superiority over rising military powers like China and Russia, which are both involved in regions that include large swathes of international waters.
The Pentagon is dedicating a staggering $18 billion to the effort.
SAVING LIVES, SAVING COSTS
The ACTUV itself is unarmed, but the ship can be used on scouting mission wherein it will locate spying adversaries before other ships are deployed, preventing actual human lives from falling into danger.
Its daily cost of operation is lower than that of other sea vessels with ACTUV costing around $15,000 to $20,000 per day, according to a Sea Magazinereport. In contrast, a destroyer costs about $700,000 per day to operate.
Other advantages of the ACTUV include greater payload and endurance than a ship-launched unmanned surface vehicle, its ability to launch from and recover at a pier, and the elimination of the need to integrate the system with a ship.
Naval operations for ACTUV isn’t restricted to locating submarines. The Navy is also considering using it to locate mines, supply other U.S. naval vehicles and provide logistics in operations. At just 140 tons and 132 feet in length, ACTUV is relatively small for a warship, which can allow naval forces to utilize it in deploying in a variety of waters and situations.

A new research paper suggests that dark matter determines the internal structure of galaxies within galactic clusters, molding our cosmos.
GALAXY CLUSTERS AND DARK MATTER
Scientists have found that dark matter resides in regions of space where matter is dense, which is why galaxy clusters (huge clumps of stars and planets) are vital to learning about the mysterious phenomenon that makes up more than 20 percent of all matter and energy in the universe.
Because dark matter is invisible (despite the fact that it is universally present), scientists must infer its existence by observing how it affects regular matter. They do this based on the idea that, the heavier and denser a cluster is, the more dark matter is in that area, but a new study suggests a more complicated connection.
Hironao Miyatake from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena California says that “Galaxy clusters are like the large cities of our universe. In the same way that you can look at the lights of a city at night from a plane and infer its size, these clusters give us a sense of the distribution of the dark matter that we can’t see.”
In their new study, Miyatake and his team suggest that a galaxy cluster’s internal structure is somehow linked to the the dark matter that resides around it, making it the first time that something other that a cluster’s mass has been linked to the dark matter surrounding it.

LOOKING AT THE BIGGER PICTURE
To make the connection, the researchers studied about 9,000 galaxy clusters with help of theSloan Digital Sky Survey DR8 galaxy catalog. From there, they divided these clusters into two groups based on their internal structures.
In one group, galaxies were more spread out within the cluster, while in the other group galaxies were more densely packed. To help with this cataloging, they used a technique called gravitational lensing, which lets them look at how gravity in the clusters bend light.
They found that in the denser cluster group had fewer neighboring clusters tha the less dense cluster group. This means, according to the team, that dark matter determines how densely packed galaxies within a cluster are.
Miyatake said “this difference is a result of the different dark-matter environments in which the groups of clusters formed. Our results indicate that the connection between a galaxy cluster and surrounding dark matter is not characterized solely by cluster mass, but also its formation history.”
The researchers say that this connection is a “consequence of the nature of the initial density fluctuations established before the universe was even one second old.”
The research team will continue exploring the connection between galaxy clusters and dark matter.

Near-Earth asteroids generally die a lingering death in the depths of space rather than plunging into the sun as previously thought, a new study suggests.
Researchers studied the properties of nearly 9,000 near-Earth objects (NEOs) — asteroids and other bodies that come within 1.3 Earth-sun distances of our planet — to build a model of the overall NEO population.
This model seemed to have a problem, however: It predicted that astronomers should be seeing 10 times more NEOs that closely approach the sun — come within 9 million miles (15 million kilometers) or so of the star — than they actually observe. [Potentially Dangerous Asteroids (Images)]
The research team spent a year puzzling over this outcome before coming to a surprising conclusion: The missing NEOs are actually being destroyed as they get close to the sun, but long before they actually dive into the star.
"The discovery that asteroids must be breaking up when they approach too close to the sun was surprising, and that's why we spent so much time verifying our calculations," study co-author Robert Jedicke, of the University of Hawaii Institute for Astronomy, said in a statement.
The team's work should help scientists better understand the NEO population in a variety of ways. For example, many meteors that light up Earth's night skies are pieces of debris shed by parent NEOs on their laps around the sun. Such debris clouds travel on the same orbits as their parent bodies, but astronomers generally have trouble finding these NEOs. The new study suggests that this is because the parent objects have already been destroyed, the researchers said.
In addition, study team members determined that darker NEOs die farther from the sun than brighter ones do, which helps explain something astronomers already knew: Asteroids that approach the sun closely tend to be quite bright.
This finding implies that dark and bright asteroids may differ significantly in structure and composition, the researchers said.
"Perhaps the most intriguing outcome of this study is that it is now possible to test models of asteroid interiors simply by keeping track of their orbits and sizes," lead author Mikael Granvik, of the University of Helsinki in Finland, said in the same statement. "This is truly remarkable and was completely unexpected when we first started constructing the new NEO model."

Asteroids are fascinating for lots of reasons. They contain a variety of valuable resources and slam into our planet on a regular basis, occasionally snuffing out most of Earth's lifeforms. How much do you know about space rocks?
Granvik and his colleagues built their model by studying nearly 100,000 images of NEOs acquired by the Catalina Sky Survey in Arizona over an eight-year period.
To date, scientists have identified and tracked almost 14,000 NEOs, but the overall population is thought to number in the millions. Astronomers think that most of these bodies begin their lives in the main asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, and then veer inward after experiencing gravitational nudges by Jupiter and/or Saturn.
The new study was published online today (Feb. 17) in the journal Nature.

A video recently made rounds online as it shows an intriguing sudden explosion of Colima Volcano in Mexico just as a cigar-shaped object flies past above it. Conspiracy theorists say the mysterious object is alien in origin, and it causes the sudden explosive activity of the volcano.
The strange thin disc seems to pass quickly through the smoke and lava that come from the mountain and continue to fly to the other side.
Ufologists say that the video shows an alien spacecraft dropping off and picking up aliens from and to their hideout within the volcanic chamber.
They say the UFO passes over the mouth and through the lava with a burst of light before all goes black. They think that the unidentified flying object transports something or someone to or from their underground base below the volcano.
If the theory is to be believed, aliens or extraterrestrials may have been touring the Earth without the knowledge of the public.

Ook nu duikt er weer een enorm ruimteschip de Colima vulkaan binnen en wordt het hoog tijd dat er eindelijk iets gaat gebeuren.
De wereld heeft er een handje van om bepaalde dingen categorisch te negeren. We doen net alsof we gek zijn, dan bestaat het niet en gaat het vanzelf wel weer weg.
Voor ons is één van de grootste raadsels ter wereld het feit dat er bij de VN in New York niet druk wordt vergaderd over de zo langzamerhand spookachtige dingen die in Mexico plaatsvinden.
Vreemde, bizarre en volkomen onverklaarbare zaken rondom de bekende Mexicaanse vulkanen zoals Popocatépetl en Colima.
Niet alleen is daar druk UFO-verkeer waar te nemen in alle vormen en soorten, voor het eerst hebben we eigenlijk ook bewijs dat enorme ruimteschepen de vulkanen induiken op weg naar hun ondergrondse basis.
Zoals dat gebeurde eind oktober 2012 toen een ongeveer kilometer lang ruimteschip verdween in het binnenste van de vulkaan.
Op het moment dat dit gebeurde, vertoonde een Mexicaanse weerradar het volgende:
Onderstaande afbeelding is afkomstig van de weerradar van Intellicast van 27 oktober, de dag dat een UFO de vulkaan Popocatépetl in vloog. Het beeld de hele dag online tot en met 28 oktober.
Hier zie je heel duidelijk de vorm van de vortex.
Het centrum van de vortex ligt precies op de plaats waar de vulkaan zich bevindt. Dit toeval lijkt ons te groot om geen verband te hebben met de Ufo die op datzelfde moment de vulkaan binnenvloog.
Wetenschappers hebben nog steeds geen idee en een nieuwsbericht van Televisa, het station wat de opname heeft gemaakt, laat weten dat men heeft uitgerekend dat de snelheid waarmee het object naar binnenvloog, groter was dan die van een vliegtuig.
Ufologen wereldwijd zijn van mening dat het óf een basis betreft in de vulkaan, vergelijkbaar met de basis van Marconi in de Andes, óf dat het een ingang betreft naar de Holle Aarde. Een combinatie van beiden zou ook nog een mogelijkheid zijn.
In de loop der jaren zijn dit soort fenomenen gewoon doorgegaan en het is dan ook de inmiddels wereldberoemde Streetcap1 die weer zo’n enorm ruimteschip heeft weten te vangen die een Mexicaanse vulkaan binnenvliegt.
Hij heeft dit gedaan door eenvoudigweg de publieke webcambeelden te bestuderen, waarop je op een gegeven moment kunt zien dat een soort identiek ruimteschip als degene hierboven, in dit geval de Colima vulkaan, in duikt.
Jarenlang gaan dit soort dingen nu door en er gebeurt helemaal niets.
Hebben wij als mensheid zo weinig belangstelling voor wat er gebeurt op onze aarde en in de ruimte om ons heen? Sluiten wij bewust de ogen omdat we bang zijn voor het onbekende?
Waarom wordt er niet eens een wereldwijde (Facebook)actie gestart en een poging gedaan 2016-02-17eindelijk eens onderzoek te doen naar de vreemde, bizarre en niet natuurlijke gebeurtenissen rondom de Mexicaanse vulkanen.
Waarom krijgt de elite alles voor elkaar wat ze willen en laat de bevolking zich keer op keer als een klein kind zonder eten naar bed sturen?
