I began filming a light to the south before it was fully dark. Initially, I wasn't sure what it was but know to film just in case. It turned out to be an interesting capture because it ended up being a minimum of four lights which ultimately disappeared below a nearby rooftop. The second set of lights were to the north and I knew immediately that they were special and began filming them because I have filmed similar lights many times before in the same location. What's so interesting about them is the formations they were flying in and how slowly they were moving. The most interesting thing of all is that this time I know their destination because the camera followed them to Nellis Air Force Base. They also flew to a very strange area I have filmed on many occasions. It is a location where hundreds of lights seemingly appear out of thin air. I could visually see the lights to the south but the lights to the north did not reveal themselves visually. Finally, in both the north and south videos you will also see airplanes flying through the scene. The aircraft that were flying in the video from the north are very likely military because they appeared to be flying in restricted airspace. You can tell when you are looking at an airplane because the flashing beacon is much stronger and more pronounced.

Witness report: I was sky watching when I spotted an unusual object in the sky. The object was moving at quit a speed across the sky and was making a rocking motion. The object was flying in and out of clouds and darting around the sky in unconventional manner. I look through my binoculars and could clearly see that this object was no known aircraft. I could also see that it was not a mechanical nuts and bolts object. Instead the object appeared to be some kind of organic mass that was self aware and was flying freely in the sky. As the object got closer I put down my binoculars and picked up my Sony HX300 Camera. I looked through the camera’s viewfinder and managed to keep up with the object as it increases it’s speed. I had my Sony Camera set to burst mode and managed to take ten photographs before the object changed it’s trajectory and started moving in my direction. The object shot right past me and over a nearby house and out of sight. I am really perplexed as to what this organic object could be. It’s very strange how this object is air born and has no visible sign of wings or any visible means of propulsion. The UFOs I normally see and photograph are mechanic in nature. I have seen and photographed a very similar object that I spotted last year. This similar object was morphing into many different shapes as it moved across the sky. This object was also organic in nature. The mind boggling as to what these organic objects could be?. These objects appear to defy the fundamentals of physics and any kind of logic. Witness report: While traveling between Melbourne to Brisbane, took this photo of cloud formation trying out new phone. Did not have my glasses on so didnt notice anything out of the ordinary untill the next day looking at the pictures noticed this strange image oval in shape and dark in the middle. It is definitely outside of the plane and will leave it for the experts to ponder over.

Witness report: Hello I have not made this public except to a handful of people , ten if that . Summer of 2014 I along with about 14 other people watched an ( unidentifiable flying object) I am a Cdl driver and hold a Uscg 100 ton captains license. I saw in the night sky what appeared to be a laser or a blurred light like taillights on a car on a hot asphalt road. The object was viewed by us for about ten minutes . I had just recently got my iPhone 5 at the time and nervously tried to work the camera settings and also put it to video mode. Many of the salmon workers probably would not pass a drug test due to THC in their blood. I Had weeks earlier seen a ufo drawn on his calendar from 2013, I asked him what it meant and he had told me they had seen a UFO over the water and cook inlet . I took what he said with a grain of salt maybe a pound of salt and just thought of it as a bunch of stoners . All I can say is that when I saw what I saw I am for ever changed , I believe it is some sort of unmaned drone or some sort of and I know I will catch hell for this , as you know Alaska is Farley unpopulated but were there are people every one knows everyone’s business . This is taken on Coho loop road , at that time of year at that Lat. we get about 4 hours of darkness .I’ll send a few pics , the only video I texted to a fisherman who had seen the same thing but from the water . I drove east about a mile and could see it outline with the sun in the north west / yes alaska . It looked like a flat arrow head bullet dull black , I have seen a picture of the unmanned drone that landed on an American aircraft carrier but this hovered / Floated if you want to call it that ,I didn’t turn off my diesel truck as many of my close friends have asked me ,to see if it made a noise , ,,, you don’t kill a Diesel engine in alaska , it’s a good way to get stuck in middle of know we’re with no power . The back seemed to have a whole at the back that emitted emitted a blurred light only once but not captured on video was a glowing discharge that looked much like a tracer round shoot out . I know this sounds like it should have been the news of the day in the Kenai penn. but I wanted to finish salmon season and make all the money I could and not loose my job or cause a stink , this is the longest text I think I’ve ever done I drove east as it went south the other guys couldn’t see it even though it had only turned 90 deg east to a heading of south .almost same place in the air . Up above a natural gas pumping station and then headed south over Cook inlet there are no street lamps and one man is known to land his two seater plane on the road as he lives on coho loop road . I was the strangest thing I’ve seen in my life . I hope it’s some sort of military drone , I hope but the light was blurrier like some one pointing a laser on a windshield but it was my bear eyes .
An Argentinian UFO agency is one of several pet projects of the country’s former President Christina Fernandez de Kirchner that was shut down during the administration of President Mauricio Macri.
The Commission for the Study of Aerospace Phenomena (CEFAE) was formed in May 2011. The agency, composed of civilian and military experts, had goals to get more details of several UFO sightings in the country.
The agency, however, only came up with one report and ten investigated UFO sightings for almost five years in existence. The only study consisted of 12 pages about the ten sightings with a conclusion that all nine of them involved objects that are commonly known to Earth, including a star, the moon, Jupiter, airplane, helicopter, red lights of an antenna, bird, and soccer ball. One case wasn’t resolved because of the lack of photo or video from the reporting witness. However, the study speculated that it may be a red laser on a wall.
The single report came out after Kirchner left the office in December 2015. It says that the cases all involve known origin that can be used as a proof that majority of people mistake known objects with extraordinary ones.
The document did not come out without controversies. It allegedly had no signatures, and the agency failed to reveal its operational expenses. The CEFAE allegedly had linked to the San Martin National University (UNSM), which public officials reportedly used for personal gain. According to several reports, the school came up with a degree in aerospace engineering during Kirchner’s time, but the $15 million in funding the division was used to pay party cronies and activists.
With Kirchner’s administration shrouded with corruption allegations, Macri is now taking down various projects started by its predecessor.

Marine Corps Lance Corporal John Weygandt, who was part of the Disclosure Project, was sent to Peru in March 1997, to provide perimeter security for a radar installation that he was told tracked drug traffic aircraft in Peru and Bolivia. He states, “About midnight, while I was on guard duty, Sergeant Allen and Sergeant Atkinson told me, an aircraft crashed and they need us to go and secure the crash site.” Early that morning we drove six Hummers close to the crash site just when it started to get light. Well, we found the area real easy because there was a huge gash in the land where something had crashed. Everything was burned and it was as if something had almost cut warm butter with a knife. It was like something on fire or had some kind of energy like a laser had cut it. It was really strange. I was in the front with Sergeant Allen and Sergeant Atkinson and we were ten or twenty meters ahead of everyone else. We were the first ones to see this thing. It had gone up the hill and then off in the side of the ravine and ridge. This was a 200-foot ridge, of solid rock. A huge craft was buried at a 45-degree angle in the side of the cliff there at the ridge. It was straight up and down. ‘
The craft was dripping a greenish-purple syrup-like liquid. The liquid was everywhere and fluctuated like it was alive and changing to a different shade of greenish purple. The craft was humming like a bass guitar and had a slowly turning light. Most of the craft seemed buried into the cliff but vents, like a fish gill were on the back. The liquid got on my clothes and ate holes in them and burned off some the hair on my arms. There were three holes in the ship that may have been hatches that were not flush with the main body of the craft. There was another hatch the same width and diameter of the top hatch and it was kind of crooked to the side and it was half-open. I didn’t see any lights or anything coming out of it but I felt this… presence. It is real strange. I think the creatures calmed me. It was weird and I think they were trying to communicate with me, like, I guess, telepathically. The Corporal estimated the craft was ten meters in width and about 20 meters in length and shaped like something between an egg and a teardrop. The skin of the craft had bumps and notches and appendages on it. It was really organic and almost like art. It looked like something that could be made in a shop. It looked like it could have been handmade but out of what materials I do not know. It was definitely nothing like titanium. It looked like metal but there was no reflection. The sun was shining on it and I could see the different shades of the craft and it didn’t reflect anything. Suddenly the Sergeants were yelling at me to get the hell out of there.
After we climbed back up, the Department of Energy people were there. They knew about it so I don’t know why we went there still to this day. But anyway, I was arrested and cuffed, both hands down. I had all my gear taken from me by men in black cammies who threatened me, subdued me, and put me on a cot. They had no nametags. At the crash site there were about thirty of these guys wearing hazard suits. I had been told aircraft were flying in and out of the atmosphere at mach ten plus. When you have objects that reenter the atmosphere, then stop on a dime, then turn around, and go exactly the opposite direction – that is somewhat strange. Meteors don’t do that. The craft was not from Earth. I knew that when I looked at it. I wondered if those facilities were built for the intent to track UFO’s and their cover was to track drug aircraft. They had laser range finders and all kinds of high tech stuff that I have never seen before. They [the laser range finders] looked like big telescopes and some sort of Command Center manned by a multi –national force. So these craft were tracked from this particular radar and were logged. I’m confident that when I saw the aircraft, it had been hit by something. Something had taken it out. Editor’s Note: Corporal Weygandt described a craft damaged by enemy action, either ours or an opposing alien force. His testimony on Page 274 of “Disclosure: Witnesses Reveal the Greatest Secrets” by Steven Greer M.D. is excellent and indicates lethal deadly force was being used against alien intruders during the Clinton Administration. We can assume this war continues.
What magical powers lay hidden inside the crystal skulls? Who made these enigmatic objects? When were they created and what were these mysterious items used for?
Many questions hover risen about the many crystal skulls which have appeared at different times in the past couple of centuries, and to answer the questions about these enigmatic objects, a series of myths, legends, hypotheses, and theories have been proposed by different researchers as answers. The truth behind them, however, remains far more mysterious than what we are willing to accept.
Perhaps the most famous crystal skull was discovered in 1924 by Anna Mitchell-Hedges Le Guillen, during an expedition to the Mayan ruins of Lubaantun, located in modern-day Belize, while they were searching for the lost city of Atlantis. Anna Mitchell-Hedges has attested that she, her father, and the others on the expedition at the “lost” city of Lubaantun, “were digging in the temple, moving a heavy wall which had fallen on the altar…. I came upon the skull buried beneath the altar, but it was some three months later before the jaw was found which was about 25 feet away.”
Made of pure quartz crystal, both the mandible and the skull were created from the same rock. Except minor anomalies, the skull is anatomically perfect, possibly representing a female skull due to its smaller size of 12.7 cm in height while its weight is around 5 kg. The prisms located at the base as the hand-polished lenses of the eyes are a combination that produces an incredible shine. The skull, which is perfectly carved out of rock crystal, has a high degree of hardness which, according to scientists, is a seven out of ten on the Mohs scale.
In the early 1970s, his mysterious object was studied by an independent restorer by the name of Frank Dorland, who estimated it would have been chiseled in basic form, using diamonds, and then polished to perfection. According to Dorland, the mysterious crystal skulls it at least 12,000 years old.
Years later, the skull was examined in the laboratories of Hewlett-Packard after which Mayan expert and archaeologist Norman Hammond studied it, and warned that the holes showed signs of having been made with metal tools.
F.A. Mitchell-Hedges mentioned the crystal skull in the first edition of his autobiography, „Danger My Ally”, describing it as the “Skull of Doom” as “dating back at least 3,600 years, and taking about 150 years to rub down with sand”; the rock crystal, he exaggerated, was “nearly as hard as diamond.”
“It is stated in legend that it was used by a high priest of the Maya to concentrate on and will death. It is said to be the embodiment of all evil; several people who have cynically laughed at it have died, others have been stricken and become seriously ill.”
Experts from the British Museum were among the several experts who analyzed the skull, dating it to the Aztec civilization around 130 to 1400 AD, but according to the natives who traveled with Mitchell-Hedges to Lubaantum reassure that the “skull of destiny” was at least 4000 years old.
There are other crystal skulls that are displayed at the Museum of Mankind in England and at the Trocadero Museum in Paris, France. Those crystal skulls were discovered by members of the Mexican army in the 1890’s, also carved out of pure quartz crystal, although not as elaborate as the one discovered by Mitchell-Hedges.
The skulls located at the Museum of mankind is considered a “twin” of the skull discovered by Mitchell-Hedges since they are almost identical except for one detail. The Mitchell-Hedges skull, has a hinged jaw, as in a real skull; while the one displayed in England, has a fixed jaw.
Many authors have many theories. There are some who link the mysterious crystal skulls with traditions and myths from Native Americans while others have linked it to Plato’s mythical Atlantis. None of the theories are scientifically supported but continue to attract thousands of people around the world, demonstrating that, whether or not pre-Columbian, and whether or not fitted with magical powers, the enigmatic skulls have an undeniable magnetism that has attracted the curiosity of explorers and researchers alike.

Edward Snowden, the leaker of NSA surveillance documents, was granted asylum in Venezuela on Friday. With safe harbors in sight, Snowden was willing to share shocking and world-shattering exclusive secret government documents with The Internet Chronicle.
Snowden’s testimony was as follows:
“The highest levels of government don’t know what to do about UFOs, and the official story that they are all merely weather balloons or natural phenomena has been clearly dismissed. If anything, these documents speak about UFOs as if they are surely guided by an intelligence beyond our own. As it turns out, the most credible and inexplicable sightings are of vehicles that have been spotted leaving the sea floor at hydrothermal vents and directly entering solar orbit.
“Because ballistic missile tracking systems and deep-sea sonar are kept as state secrets, scientists don’t have access to data about these objects. However, most of the contractors at DARPA are sure that there is a species more intelligent than homo sapiens living in the mantle of the Earth. It makes sense, if you think about it, because that is the only place where conditions have been more or less stable for billions of years. Extremophiles may live at different temperatures than us, but they have been able to thrive and develop intelligence at a seemingly accelerated rate. That’s not true, because they’ve simply evolved at the same rate, but without many of the vicissitudes which set back surface life . . .
“The president receives daily briefings about their activities. Analysts believe their technology to be so far advanced that we stand little chance of survival in any potential war. The general sentiment is that we are but ants from their perspective, so there is little chance they would empathize or attempt to communicate with us, and the current contingency plan is to detonate nuclear weapons in deep caverns to ‘sting’ the foe we have no hope of destroying in hopes it would discourage further attacks.”
Critics may allege that what the 30-year-old former NSA and CIA contractor can state with authority about our ultraterrestrial neighbors is already well-known. But the Ground-Penetrating Radar, or GPR, scans, which The Internet Chronicle has shared and confirmed with sources within intelligence community, will only serve to underscore popular bitterness over strategically timed earthquakes and tsunamis.

Op de foto zien we weer een heel andere kant van de dwergplaneet: de met valleien bezaaide noordpool.
Het poolgebied dat je hier ziet, wordt informeel Lowell Regio genoemd. Het gebied bezit enorme valleien. Het breedste exemplaar (op de afbeelding hieronder in geel aangegeven) is maar liefst 75 kilometer breed! De ‘groene’ valleien op de afbeelding hieronder lopen vrijwel parallel aan deze enorme vallei en zijn ongeveer 10 kilometer breed.
Oud Ook op andere plekken op Pluto zijn valleien te vinden. Maar de valleien op de noordpool van de dwergplaneet onderscheiden zich daar duidelijk van. Hun wanden zijn vervallen en daardoor lijken de valleien veel ouder. Mogelijk zijn ze ook veel ouder en gemaakt van zwakker materiaal.
De noordpool van Pluto. New Horizons maakte de foto toen deze ongeveer 33.900 kilometer van Pluto verwijderd was.

Bedekt Iets ten oosten van de grote valleien die we hierboven al even noemden, bevindt zich nog een vallei (met roze aangegeven). Het nabij deze vallei gelegen gebied (rechtsonder) is vrij glad. Het lijkt erop dat dit gebied bedekt is met bepaald materiaal dat kleine topografische kenmerken aan het zicht onttrekt.
Putten Wat verder opvalt op deze foto van New Horizons zijn grote ‘putten’ op de afbeelding met rood aangeduid. Ze zijn tot wel 70 kilometer breed en 4 kilometer diep. Deze putten zijn mogelijk ontstaan doordat ijs onder het oppervlak gesmolten of gesublimeerd (verdampt) is, waardoor de grond erboven naar beneden is gestort.
Ook opvallend is de kleur (NASA heeft de kleuren op de foto wel iets nadrukkelijker gemaakt) en samenstelling van het gebied. De hoger gelegen plaatsen zijn geel gekleurd, iets wat je verder nergens op Pluto ziet. Dat geel loopt – naarmate de hoogte van een gebied afneemt – over in een soort blauwgrijs. Onduidelijk is nog hoe de kleuren precies ontstaan zijn. Metingen van New Horizons wijzen uit dat er in dit deel van Pluto veel methaanijs, maar heel weinig stikstofijs te vinden is. “Eén mogelijkheid is dat het gele terrein overeenkomt met oudere methaanafzettingen die sterker door zonnestraling zijn aangetast dan het blauwere terrein,” aldus onderzoeker Will Grundy.

De twee fuserende zwarte gaten die het bestaan van zwaartekrachtsgolven verraadden, zijn mogelijk binnen één ster geboren.
Op 14 september 2015 botsten twee zwarte gaten op elkaar. Bij de fusie kwamen zwaartekrachtsgolven vrij die vervolgens door het Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory (LIGO) werden gedetecteerd. Een primeur: hoewel Einstein het bestaan van deze golven al voorspelde, waren ze nog nooit overtuigend waargenomen. Tot september 2015 dus.
Gammastraling Een nieuw onderzoek gaat nu wat dieper in op de twee zwarte gaten aan wie we deze ontdekking te danken hebben. Het onderzoek suggereert dat de twee zwarte gaten voortkomen uit één enkele ster. De onderzoekers trekken die conclusie op basis van gegevens van ruimtetelescoop Fermi. Een fractie van een seconde nadat LIGO de zwaartekrachtsgolven detecteerde, nam deze ruimtetelescoop een uitbarsting van gammastraling waar. En dat is opvallend; bij de fusie van twee zwarte gaten hoort geen gammastraling vrij te komen.
Eén stervende ster Er moet dan ook meer aan de hand zijn geweest dan een ‘simpele’ fusie van twee zwarte gaten, zo stellen de onderzoekers. Ze vermoeden dat de twee zwarte gaten kort voor hun fusie uit één stervende ster zijn voortgekomen.

Tweeling Normaalgesproken is het zo dat wanneer een zware ster het einde van zijn leven nadert, de kern van de ster ineenstort en één zwart gat vormt. Maar als de ster heel snel draait – bijvoorbeeld doordat deze het resultaat is van de fusie van twee sterren – kan de kern worden uitgerekt en in twee ‘brokken’ uiteenvallen en elke ‘brok’ wordt vervolgens een zwart gat. “Het is de kosmische equivalent van een zwangere vrouw die een tweeling in haar buik draagt,” stelt onderzoeker Avi Loeb. Om zowel zwaartekrachtsgolven als een uitbarsting van gammastraling te kunnen produceren, moeten de zwarte gaten heel dicht bij elkaar geboren zijn en binnen enkele minuten met elkaar zijn gefuseerd. Het enkele zwarte gat dat na de fusie ontstond heeft stermaterie verorberd en daarbij kwam de door Fermi waargenomen gammastraling vrij, zo denken de onderzoekers.
Het is een fraaie theorie. Of deze ook klopt, blijft nog even onduidelijk. De uitbarsting die Fermi waarnam, werd namelijk niet gezien door de Europese INTEGRAL gammastraling-satelliet en is dus nog niet bevestigd. “Zelfs als het signaal van Fermi vals alarm is, zouden we tijdens toekomstige LIGO-gebeurtenissen altijd moeten kijken of er lichtsignalen mee gemoeid zijn, ongeacht of het nu gaat om de fusie van zwarte gaten,” vindt Loeb. “De natuur kan ons altijd verrassen.”
De Atacama Pathfinder EXperiment-telescoop (APEX) onthult op een spectaculaire nieuwe foto de ijzigste delen van ons sterrenstelsel.
De foto is het slotakkoord van de APEX Large Area Survey of the Galaxy (ATLASGAL) waar de APEX-telescoop de afgelopen tijd voor is ingezet. Tijdens dit onderzoek bracht de telescoop het deel van het Melkwegvlak dat vanaf het zuidelijk halfrond waarneembaar is op submillimeter-golflengten – straling die tussen infrarood licht en radiogolven in zit – volledig in kaart. Het resultaat is een panorama dat veel gedetailleerder is dan beelden uit eerdere onderzoeken.
Koud De APEX-telescoop is zeer geschikt om het koude heelal te onderzoeken. Je moet dan denken aan gas en stof met temperaturen die slechts enkele tienden van een graad boven het absolute nulpunt liggen. Tijdens het Large Area Survey of the Galaxy heeft de APEX-telescoop de verdeling van koud, dicht gas in kaart gebracht. In deze koude en zware gaswolken worden nieuwe generaties sterren geboren. “ATLASGAL verschaft boeiende inzichten over waar de volgende generatie van zware sterren en sterrenhopen ontstaan,” vertelt onderzoeker Timea Csengeri.

Planck De data die nu door de APEX-telescoop is verzameld, wordt gebruikt om gegevens die de Planck-satelliet eerder van de volledige hemel verzamelde, aan te vullen. De gegevens van Planck zijn namelijk niet zo gedetailleerd als die van APEX.
Tijdens ATLASGAL stond dus de zuidelijke hemel centraal. Eerder werd het noordelijk deel van de Melkweg al in kaart gebracht met de James Clerk Maxwell-telescoop. Het zuidelijke deel zou je echter interessanter kunnen noemen, omdat daar het galactisch centrum te vinden is.
The Orion spacecraft is the successor to the now-retired Space Shuttle. NASA is planning to send astronauts on a first crewed flight aboard Orion in 2021. NASA’s Orion Spacecraft is destined to fly at the top of the Space Launch System (SLS).
The Space Launch System will push Orion out of Earth’s orbit to reach the moon during its first test flight in 2018. The test flight is meant to check the spacecraft’s ability to accomplish future deep space missions.
The SLS will be the largest, most powerful rocket in the world and NASA believes that it will eventually make a journey to Mars within reach in the 2030s.

Recently, the pressure vessel or primary structure of the Orion space crew module made it to Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida after leaving New Orleans…marking a step closer to the journey to the Red Planet.
NASA used the massive Super Guppy aircraft to transport the Orion capsule. The Super Guppy aircraft has a wingspan of 156 feet, The cargo compartment of the jumbo plane is 48 feet tall and 143 feet long. It can carry more than 26 tons.
The aircraft’s hinged nose can open more than 200 degrees which allows the large spacecraft components to be loaded and unloaded from the front of the plane.
On February 26, 2016, the United States Air Force announced the “next generation” bomber, the B-21. Although not much is known, they did issue a press release:

WASHINGTON (AFNS) — Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James revealed the first rendering of the Long Range Strike Bomber, designated the B-21, at the Air Force Association’s Air Warfare Symposium Feb. 26 in Orlando, Fla., and announced the Air Force will be taking suggestions from Airmen to help decide the name of the bomber.
“This aircraft represents the future for our Airmen, and (their) voice is important to this process,” James said. “The Airman who submits the selected name will help me announce it at the (Air Force Association) conference this fall.”
While there are no existing prototypes of the aircraft, the artist rendering is based on the initial design concept. The designation B-21 recognizes the LRS-B as the first bomber of the 21st century.
The reveal comes just weeks after both James and Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Mark A. Welsh III delivered the fiscal year 2017 posture statement before the Senate Appropriations Committee, making it clear modernization is a top priority for the Air Force.
“The platforms and systems that made us great over the last 50 years will not make us great over the next 50,” Welsh said during his testimony on Capitol Hill Feb. 10. “There are many other systems we need to either upgrade or recapitalize to ensure viability against current and emerging threats… the only way to do that is to divest old capability to build the new.”
James said the B-21 will allow the Air Force to operate in tomorrow’s high end threat environment, and give the Air Force the flexibility and the capability to launch from the continental United States and deliver airstrikes on any location in the world.
James also explained why the B-21 shares some resemblance to the B-2.
“The B-21 has been designed from the beginning based on a set of requirements that allows the use of existing and mature technology,” James said.
The program recently entered into the Engineering and Manufacturing Development phase and the Air Force plans to field the initial capability of the aircraft in mid-2020s.
As we're told, it's very unlikely that anyone saw it though it was likely picked up by military sensors across the world.
NASA and other space experts were, once again, blindsided by it ... or this is never happened.

NASA reports huge explosion of seven meter space rock over the Atlantic.
A huge fireball crashed into the Atlantic earlier this month - and went almost unseen.
The event took place on February 6 at 14 00 UTC when a meteor exploded in the air 620 miles (1,000km) off the coast of Brazil.
According to NASA's Near-Earth Object Fireball page, this fireball was the biggest to impact the planet since the Chelyabinsk fireball that had 500,000 tons of TNT energy a few years ago.
In only days, one asteroid will do an Earth-flyby on March 8th. We're told 2013 TX68 poses no threat to the planet but could still get very close to Earth according to NASA. The 150 foot wide asteroid will fly to the Earth possibly as close as 11,000 miles (17,000km).
While a NASA spokesperson tell us: There is no existing evidence that an asteroid or any other celestial object is on a trajectory that will impact Earth and in fact, not a single one of the known objects has any credible chance of hitting our planet over the next century.
We'll mention he forgot to add this disclaimer: At least not one that we are aware of and can clearly see coming at this time.
How many more are they missing?
NASA is currently tracking 1,600+ 'potentially hazardous asteroids' and it has only been 'blind luck' that has so far saved humanity from serious impact. Former astronaut Ed Lu has described the situation that our planet in now facing as "cosmic roulette" - how long before humanity's luck runs out?
The latest fireball report comes from Spain.
The meteor recording stations that the University of Huelva operates at the astronomical observatories located at La Hita (Toledo), Sevilla and Huelva recorded a fireball observed over the South of Spain and Portugal on February 21, 2016 and a second fireball which was brighter than the full Moon and exhibited several explosions over Spain on February 23, 2016.

CURIOSITY ROVER STUMBLES UPON A LEVITATING SPHERE, EVERYONE IS BAFFLED
Many bizarre things are found on the surface of Mars, most of them resembling Earthly structures or even living beings, and while NASA could offer simple explanation for most of these artifacts, there are some discoveries that beat even their imagination. Such is the case of this levitating object spotted by Curiosity rover.
A spectacular apparition, as some UFO enthusiasts would call it, this mystery-sphere is certain to puzzle lots of folks, amateurs and scientists alike. It has a circular design and above all, it appears to be hovering over the rocky terrain. The faint shadow raises all doubts that this could be just another anomaly caused by the lens or who knows what else. It appears as if someone who is ahead of us has already developed the gravitational waves concept and is now using it to send messages throughout the universe.
You’ve heard it well. According to the majority of analysts investigating the bizarre levitating artifact, this can only be an alien probe that has been launched throughout the universe in the hopes of finding another advanced species such as them, a project similar to what we’re doing nowadays except that they have access to better technology. So instead of peeking out into the universe or sending radio waves in space, it’s likely that another intergalactic species is sending samples with encoded messages, similar to how humans send (or used to send) a message in a bottle across the river current, seas or oceans.
If this proves to be authentic, then NASA might have just found the Lucky 7, the Holy Grail of UFOlogy that could propel our young species into the next level of understanding. But why is it that they won’t make this public? Why is there no global havoc already? It’s strange, right? But if we look at the bigger picture, an ‘alien message in a bottle’ would mean the end of all religions, people will question everything that they were served as reality so far, this would be the next step on the evolutionary scale, going from 0 to 1 in a matter of days (and that’s quite a huge leap to take).
The mystery object has a minimalist design, it is but a circular material object on the surface of Mars, but above all, it’s hovering right above the ground. There is no possible way to describe this object as being something else, so if an evolved alien species sent it as an intergalactic probe, they sure did an amazing job because they considered the simplest thing – a round, levitating sphere – that cannot be misinterpreted as something different than what it is.
This could be proof enough that intelligent life resides elsewhere in the universe, and their advanced capabilities somehow predicted that the species receiving their message will definitely doubt its origins, thus transmitting it in a circular device, a simple shape that cannot occur as a result of a natural phenomenon, but only through an artificial manufacturing process.
If this is indeed authentic, it would explain the ongoing rush to send people to Mars. An extraterrestrial message is just sitting out there waiting to be interfered with. Now, is it possible that Curiosity rover cannot properly inspect the device, and a manned mission to the Red Planet would be required in order to elucidate the mystery of the levitating artifact? According to some researchers, this could be exactly the case, and although a black-budget mission to Mars might already be underway, the space agency might be waiting for the opportune moment to disclose all their finds. It appears that the world is not yet ready for total disclosure, but we put our trust in NASA that they’ll reveal the truth, although they’ll do it gradually ( via ufoholic.com ).

As the new documentary "The Last Man on the Moon" opens, the camera pans across a crowd at a rodeo until it finds an older gentleman taking his seat.
The man, clad in a cowboy hat, padded vest and dark blue jeans with a large-buckle belt, doesn't stand out from those around him. Nothing about his appearance suggests he is a member of one of the most exclusive fraternities in all of human history.
In fact, as that scene was shot, only one person, out of the thousands surrounding him, recognized Gene Cernan.
"Just one — the man sitting next to him," said Mark Craig, director of "The Last Man on the Moon," which is openingin select U.S. theaters on Friday (Feb. 26).
Craig's film seeks to address that.
"It is basically the epic tale of one man's part in mankind's greatest adventure with quite a few laughs and tears along the way," Craig told collectSPACE.com. "We don't just dwell on the past, but see plenty of Cernan's life today, and what he shares with us on a personal level is more than any other moonwalker has ever done previously." Cernan, suffice to say, isn't just another face at the rodeo. Though he aspired to and now owns a Texas ranch, a fact that the film not just points out but features, Cernan is one of just 24 men to have flown to the moon, one of just three to have done it twice, and the last out of only 12 astronauts to leave his bootprint on its surface.
A naval aviator, Cernan was chosen as a NASA astronaut in 1963. He flew three times to space as a member of the Gemini 9A and Apollo 10 crews and commander of Apollo 17, the latter the final manned mission to land on the moon in December 1972.
"The Last Man on the Moon" recounts that history, as other documentaries have, but in doing so injects Cernan's own unique perspective on his journey.
"It wasn't just his story, but the way he told it that made a real impact," commented Craig, referencing Cernan's 1998 autobiography, which shares the same title and served as the initial inspiration for the film.
Five years in the making, "Last Man on the Moon" uses on-site shoots to bring Cernan back to the time and places where he made history. He visits the dormant launch pad where he left Earth for the moon, the museums where his spacecraft are on public display, and the Arlington National Cemetery, where some of his fellow astronauts were laid to rest.
"Every one of the film's locations had special significance for both Gene and for us on the small film crew, but in very different ways," Craig recalled. "The derelict launch pad at the Cape certainly stirred some strong feelings for Gene, and that in turn affected us on the crew. And how could a visit to Arlington [cemetery] not leave a powerful and vivid impression?"
The one location the filmmakers could not take Cernan – back to space ("We would love to have taken him back to the Taurus-Littrow valleyon the moon," Craig remarked) – is represented by archival NASA footage, where available, and Hollywood-style recreations, where not.

"Very little footage of Gene's Gemini spacewalk exists. As it was such a defining and dramatic moment in his story, we needed to bring it alive for the audience so that they could see and understand his tremendous difficulties," said Craig of the re-staged EVA. "As for Apollo 10, it was the first time Gene left the planet Earth and headed way out someplace where that few had ever been before. There is some great on board archive footage, but very little of that conveys the vastness and majestic spectacle of space."
"I was partly inspired by Stanley Kubrick's '2001: A Space Odyssey,' and wanted to intercut the real footage with the visual effects to keep it feeling big, real and emotional," he described.
Other voices add to that emotion. In addition to Cernan's own recollections, the movie features new interviews with Apollo astronauts Alan Bean, Charlie Duke, Dick Gordon and Jim Lovell, as well as flight directors Gene Kranz and Chris Kraft. Cernan's first wife, Barbara, and current wife, Jan appear, as do his children and grandchildren including his daughter Tracy whose initials he left on the moon.
Although only implied on screen, the film's title, "The Last Man on the Moon," is something Cernan struggles with to this day. While Neil Armstrong will always be the first man, Cernan doesn't relish having carried the title of "last" for so long. It is that message, among others, that Cernan – and Craig – hope the public takes away from the documentary.
"Gene delivers a number of powerful messages in the film. I would rather audiences see and hear these in the context of his story than reveal them here," Craig said. "But I think if you were old enough to remember the age of Apollo you will have some surprisingly strong emotions stirred up. And if you were born after or are too young to remember, then I believe that a major chapter in history will be brought alive by a remarkable individual who was there in the thick of it all."
"We are lucky that he has the courage, wit and honesty to share it with us in such a human way."

A former US naval officer has lifted the lid on supposedly top secret documents which he claims proves Britain's biggest UFO sighting was real.
In December 1980, the skies above Suffolk were ablaze with strange lights in the biggest UFO sighting in the UK as dozens of witnesses allegedly saw an alien aircraft land.
Now, more than 35 years later, a former US naval officer has joined other military personnel in claiming he has seen top secret documents which prove the extraordinary sightings at RendleshamForest were geniune.
The 49-year-old, who prefers to remain anonymous, claims to have valuable new evidence about the Rendlesham UK UFO mass sightings, in Suffolk in 1980.
The married man, now living in Ohio, said he was based at NAS Moffett Field, in California, and he was there from February 1986 to October 1989, while also working with contacts in Silicone Valley.
He told the Express: "I have never seen a UFO or ET or alien, however I have seen literally tens of thousand of documents confirming they are real and have visited Earth."
Confirmation: He says he knows Rendlesham actually happened
The veteran reportedly said he was now able to speak because his confidentiality agreement with the US authorities expired in 2014.
Asked why he had not removed some of the pictures or other evidence, he said: "Legally, you are not authorised to walk off with classified information. That is treason and treason is a felony.
"I do not possess anything other than my testimony and documents that authorise that I legitimately had the individual top-secret security clearances."
He said a man in his 60s with higher security clearance had told him in detail about the mysterious Rendlesham Forest case and how aliens were definitely involved.
The Rendlesham legend has been dubbed Britain's Roswell after the mystery UFO crash said to have happened outside the town in New Mexico, USA, in July 1947.
Three US officers based at RAF Bentwaters claimed a "triangular shaped craft" landed in neighbouring woods in the early hours of December 26 1980.
Danger: He was speaking because some of his friends had been killed by aliens
He is the second US military officer to come forward in recent months, after Colonel Charles Halt, who was deputy colonel at the Bentwaters airbase on the two nights spoke in Jully.
He also said he had been told by two radar operators that an unknown object was tracked at the time.
He added he had seen a mysterious object with a red light that kept on bobbing up and down in a field and claimed sparks came off it and it exploded.
