New Study suggests Alien Civilizations may number in TRILLIONS

Rejoice Alien hunters, the possibility that Earth is not the only planet inhabited by an intelligent civilization has gained more credibility thanks to a brand new study that coincides with NASA’s recent planetary discoveries. The new study, published in the Journal Astrobiology proposes that more planets in our galaxy harbor advanced civilizations than anyone previously imagined.

“We really do know that pretty much every star in the sky hosts at least one planet,” said astronomer Adam Frank co-author of the study.

Woodruff Sullivan and Adam Frank looked at NASA’s recent discoveries of potentially habitable worlds and considered the odds whether sophisticated civilizations could have inhabited them or still do.

“What we showed was the ‘floor’ on the probability for a civilization to form on any randomly chosen planet,” Frank, a University of Rochester physics and astronomy professor, told The Huffington Post in an email. “If we are the only civilization in cosmic history, then that what we calculated is the actual probability nature has set. But if the real probability is higher than that floor, then civilizations have happened before.” 

According to Frank, the potential number of planets orbiting their host star within a habitable distance is staggering.

This raises hopes that one of those planets might host alien life, and with a bit of luck, we even might discover an advanced alien civilization inhabiting one of those planets.

“Even if you are pretty pessimistic and think that you’d have to search through 100 billion (habitable zone) planets before you found one where a civilization developed, then there have still been a trillion civilizations over cosmic history!” Frank wrote. “When I think about that, my mind reels — even if there is just a one in a 100 billion chance of evolution creating exo-civilizations, the universe still has made so many of them that we are swamped by histories other than our own.”

The Drake equation

One of the most famous equations dealing with the possibility of Alien life existing in the universe is the Drake Equation. It was created by astronomer Frank Drake in 1961, and it estimates the number of planets that may be home to advanced alien civilizations with the ability to communicate with other civilizations in the cosmos.

However, Frank and Sullivan modified the Drake equation implementing new data into it. Since the Drake equation analyzes the possibility od advanced civilizations existing in the Milky Way, the equation proposed by Frank and Sullivan calculate the possible number of advanced alien civilizations that have existed in our galaxy throughout the whole ‘known’ history of the universe.

Writing in the Astrobiology study, Frank and Sullivan state:

“ Recent advances in exoplanet studies provide strong constraints on all astrophysical terms in the Drake equation. Using these and modifying the form and intent of the Drake equation, we set a firm lower bound on the probability that one or more technological species have evolved anywhere and at any time in the history of the observable Universe.” (source)

The two researchers write about what they call: “the cosmic frequency of technological species.”

“The universe is more than 13 billion years old,” Sullivan, of the astronomy department and astrobiology program at the University of Washington, said in a statement. “That means that even if there have been 1,000 civilizations in our own galaxy, if they live only as long as we have been around — roughly 10,000 years — then all of them are likely already extinct. And others won’t evolve until we are long gone.

“For us to have much chance of finding another ‘contemporary’ active technological civilization, on average they must last much longer than our present lifetime,” Sullivan said. (source)

We have searched for traces of advanced alien civilizations, in hopes of finding out we are not alone for decades.

“With so many stars and planets filling the cosmos, it boggles the mind to think that we’re the only clever life to have made an appearance,” SETI Institute senior astronomer Seth Shostak told HuffPost in an email. “Frank and Sullivan use new research indicating that roughly one in five stars is orbited by a planet that could nurture biology. After that, it’s just a matter of counting up the tally of stars in the visible universe, and saying that — with all the suitable real estate that’s out there, if we’re the only place with intelligent life, then we’ve really won the mother of all lotteries.”

However, Shostak tells us not to be overly optimistic or pessimistic about the SETI Institutes search for intelligent signals from our cosmic neighbors.

“The odds that no one is out there are very, very small. It’s a bit like an ant coming out of its hive, seeing the enormous amount of real estate stretching in all directions and deciding that, if its home is the only ant hill, then its existence is a near-miracle,” said Shostak in an interview with HuffPost.

Experts say it’s too late to hide from Aliens

According to experts, we need to think to be more cautious about the messages we send to space in hopes of contacting our cosmic neighbors.

It’s too late to conceal ourselves in the universe say, researchers.

Scientists believe that if there is an alien civilization out there somewhere, they most likely already know we exist. That’s according to claims made by a group of researchers who think we need to be more careful next time when we send out messages out into space hoping that one day, our galactic neighbors will respond.

In an interview, Douglas Vakoch, president of the San Francisco-based non-profit Meti (Messaging Extraterrestrial Intelligence) International said that the current signals that are being sent into space are far too simplistic. In fact, the messages might be considered as primitive by any alien civilization that intercepts the messages sent by earthlings, and therefore may not be easy to interpret the way we intended it.

“It’s too late to conceal ourselves in the universe, so we should decide how we want to represent ourselves, Vakoch told Forbes. Extraterrestrials may be waiting for a clear indication from us that we’re ready to start talking.”

That’s why his team at METI International have kickstarted a new campaign that aims to develop messages for extraterrestrial civilizations that are both informative and provocative.

Their plans are big, in fact, they want to send out the first radio transmission by the end of 2018, emphasizing on messages that will reveal basic mathematical and scientific concepts, which any alien civilization in the cosmos should be able to interpret.

‘It would be ideal to use a powerful transmitter like those used for planetary radar studies, such as Arecibo Observatory,’ said Vakoch.

Actually in the past, some similar signals have already been sent out into space, with perhaps the most famous one being sent out by the Arecibo radio telescope in 1974.

The binary digits in the message reveal information about our star system, the human species, and Earth’s biochemistry. But according to Vakoch, we need to include an instruction manual so to speak, so that extraterrestrials can decode the messages we send out more easily.

„There are a lot of hidden assumptions embedded in the ways we portray three-dimensional objects on two-dimensional surfaces,’ said Vakoch. Even if aliens use pictures, they may use a different set of conventions to map solid objects onto flat surfaces.“

During his interview with Fobes, Vakoch said that the messages we send out need to be more detailed. Instead of sending only a few details on the biochemistry of our planet, we should include the entire Periodic Table of Elements.

However, not everyone is so optimistic about searching for aliens and hoping that one day, they contacted us or visited Earth.

In February, a leading scientists at Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) commented that if aliens did visit Earth, they would take control thanks to their advanced technology, giving them an edge and ultimately leading them to make the rules on Earth.

Astronomer and co-founder of the Seti Institute Jill Tarter told TechCrunch: ‘If they showed up on our doorstep that means they have technologies that are considerably advanced with respect to ours. And because of that, they’re going to be the ones that set the rules.’

However, there are hopes that Aliens Species are peaceful and intend no harm. She explained that if such an advanced alien species had developed the technology to travel long distances across space, they must have learned to behave in a peaceful manner.

Interestingly, according to NASA’s chief scientist Ellen Stofan, it’s very likely that in the next 20 to 30 years, we could find evidence of alien life forms.

The discovery of the century: Have researchers found the mythical Hall of Records?

It is said that the Hall of Records holds the key to understanding our civilization and real history of humanity.

Mythologically, it is said to be a library buried somewhere in Egypt, and many people believe it could be located under the enigmatic Sphinx of Giza, watching tall and proud over the Pyramids of the Giza Plateau. A discovery of a vast underground library made in 2008, could forever change history and the origin of the Ancient Egyptian Civilization. 

The Hall of Records is said to house the knowledge of the Ancient Egyptians documented in ancient papyrus scrolls and is believed to account for the history of the lost continent of Atlantis, as well as its location. Compared in importance, the Egyptian Hall of Records is just as the Great Library of Alexandria, which housed Grecian Knowledge.

While mainstream scholars firmly state there is no evidence whatsoever to indicate that the Hall of Records is real, scientists like Robert Schoch and Thomas Dobeck among other believe it could be located underneath the Sphinx.

In the book Message of the Sphinx, Graham Hancock, and Robert Bauval state that the Egyptian government together with American archeologists have blocked any investigations around or underneath the Sphinx, preventing anyone from locating the underground cavities and finding out what is located beneath the Sphinx.

While those who believe the Hall of Records exists was built by the ancient Egyptian civilization, there are others who think that the Hall existed but was not built by the Ancient Egyptians, but rather by a much older ancient civilization that predates the Ancient Egyptian.

However, what if the Hall fo Records was not located underneath the Sphinx? What if there is, in fact, a giant underground library somewhere in Egypt?

Suppressed by mainstream archeologists and scholars, there is an enormous underground library discovered in Egypt a while ago. It can easily be considered as one of the greatest discoveries of Ancient Egypt, yet only a few know about the existence of its existence. It is a discovery that could be considered as one of the most significant findings of the century, yet, for an unknown reason, most mainstream scholars, together with the Egyptian researchers have tried very hard to keep anyone far from it.

 The Lost Hall of Records, finally found?

Is it possible that this is the long-lost Hall of Records? Interestingly, the existence of the ‘underground library’ was mentioned by Herodotus and Strabo who had the pleasure of visiting and recording the legendary labyrinth before it vanished from history.

Among the first to mention its existence was Herodotus:

This I have actually seen, a work beyond words. For if anyone put together the buildings of the Greeks and display of their labours, they would seem lesser in both effort and expense to this labyrinth… Even the pyramids are beyond words, and each was equal to many and mighty works of the Greeks. The incredible underground library could easily be what is referred to as the Hall of Records. Discovered in 2008 by a group of Belgian and Egyptian researchers, the underground temple consists of over 3000 rooms which are filled with incredible hieroglyphs and paintings, the enigmatic underground complex is located less than 100 kilometers from Cairo at Hawara, not far from the Pyramid of Amenemhat III.

This incredible discovery has been kept away from society under mysterious circumstances. The results of the expedition were published in 2008 shortly in the scientific journal of the NRIAG, and the results of the research were exchanged in a public lecture at the University of Ghent. Media from Belgium attended. However, the finding was quickly suppressed since the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities (Egypt) put a hold to all further communications about the discovery due to Egyptian National Security sanctions.

In 2010, de Cordier opened a website, Labyrinth of Egypt in order to make the discovery available to the entire world. Even though researchers have confirmed the existence of the underground complex, major excavations need to take place in the future in order to explore the incredible finding. It is believed that the treasures of the underground Labyrinth could hold the answers to countless historical mysteries and the ancient Egyptian civilization.

Is this the long lost Hall of Records? Moreover, is it possible that because of its extreme importance, the government decided to deny further studies and excavations?

Interestingly, the discovery of the mystery underground library seems to fit perfectly into the accounts of the mythical Hall of Records.

I am a writer for various sites commenting and sharing ideas on all sorts of different topics, so I recently took the time to check out one of the top UFO websites on the Internet dealing with UFOs and Extraterrestrials, and I decided to do a little review of stories on UFODigest.com, 

While there, I took the time to watch and listen to a video interview of Erich von Däniken who authored Chariots of the Gods and numerous other books.  Some of the information he brought up was not entirely new to me, but I listened to see what new things I could learn.  The questions he brought up have been asked from time to timeby otyher writers over decades since he first published his works bginning in the 1960s.

Briefly, one of the questions he posed is whether Mankind was created by the “Lord God” or by Extraterrestrials posing as “gods.”

In my opinion, there is no need to fear truth because truth will reconcile itself when enough information is known.  For example, the law of gravity exists.  If that is all a person knows, that person would say that it would be impossible for a plane to fly.  The fact is, planes do fly because through the lprinciples of thrust and lift, they can overcome the law of gravity.

So how do we reconcile various differing viewpoints?  When there is a seemingly difficult question to reconcile, I start with the greatest mathematical probability as being the bottom line truth, around which others are tributaries.  I start with one truth that is mathematically impossible without divine intervention.  That is the truth of prophecies past surrounding Jesus the Christ.  I am not referring to what some refer to as  end times or “the rapture” or Armageddon or any of those.  I am referring to the ones that were fulfilled in Jesus’s first coming, his life, his death, his resurrection, and his purpose.  Depending on how these prophecies are counted there are somewhere around 300+ prophecies that had to be fulfilled. 

In other words, if two or three things are listed in one scripture, do you count that as 1, 2, or 3?   A scientist in times past figured the probability just 8 of the scriptures being fulfilled to be absolutely astronomical.  Three hundred of them would be out of the Milky Way ball park!

So I start there.  If those prophecies have been fulfilled,  then we can rely on other things the Bible says. However, what does the Bible say about something that might be construed as something “extraterrestrial”? 

Genesis Chapter 6 talks about how “the sons of God” came down in to the daughters of men, chose some for wives, and procreated giants, known as the Nephilim.  That fits in with the stories of pyramids,  gigantic heads, sculptures and so forth that men ranging from roughly 4 – 6 feet in height or so, sometimes a bit larger, could never have  produced simply using prehistoric tools.

Then the Bible tells us that the world was corrupted.   Other studies of these matters have drawn conclusions that there was genetic modification to the point that only one man still retained a pure enough gene pool to save, and that was Noah, hi progeny and his posterity. 

Of course, his son Ham may have been influenced concerning genetic manipulation prior to the flood or “the seed” being preserved.  Some have postulated that Ham castrated his father, Noah, for Noah never had any further children after the flood, following and the tent incident with Ham. 

In any case, there are many stories about a worldwide flood and it fits in with information and legends known about extra-terrestrials.  It just depends through what lens you look at it.

I prefer to look at it through the Christian viewpoint since there is one defining thing that no other culture, explanation, or Holy Book has and that is the prophecies concerning Jesus the Christ.  To me, the mathematics of those prophecies supersedes any other information.  In other words, stories about extraterrestrials will have story lines in the Bible, but the Bible will not necessarily be in the story line of an extraterrestrial.

The War in Heaven …

Angels against Devils or Angels versus Extraterrestrials?

There are other points that can fit in with the extraterrestrial story.  Why did they come?  Where did they come from and why?  The Bible gives us clues.  There was a “war in heaven.” 

A being named Satan was thrown to the Earth.  He tried to take over the Earth from a man namedAdam, who had been in charge.  The whole story of the redemption of Mankind and bringing it back to the One God from the clutches from Satan is told about in the Bible and is still in the process of being completed, i.e., returnig dominion over the earth to Man,it’s rightful owner.

Can stories of Extraterrestrials and the Bible be reconciled?

I feel they can be reconciled with modern scientific discoveries..  However, I feel that when there is a question of what story is the “correct story” line, due to prophecies of times past having been so completely fulfilled, that the Bible has to be taken as the final word over any stories that might be deduced otherwise.  The prophetic understanding and fulfillment simply is not there for any other story line.

As King David said, “I will go to him, but he will not return to me.”   David recognized that some directions of truth are a one way road and while interest in “extraterrestrials” may yield a lot of information, I personally believe the studies will finally culminate around the truth in the Bible, and not otherwise.

Of course, none of these questions, whether the questions of Extraterrestrials involvement in human affairs or questions about Jesus, are things the governments of the world particularly want studied.  They have figured out some good story lines to feed the masses.  They would prefer it if those same masses would bury their heads in entertainment or distractions and never raise them up again in questions.   If they do, they might not believe the story of evolution, a “modern myth” and cornerstone of science,and so they might not be so easily controlled, and, in fact, the ruling elite might lose economic power.

These are the underlying Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of mass media control of public opinion:

Don’t question any Magic Bullet, don’t question 911, don’t question ‘global warming.’ Don’t question anything that looks strange and where the facts don’t make sense.  Don’t question the safety of vaccines.  Don’t question GMO’s.  Don’t question Chemtrails.   Don’t question HAARP.  Don’t question the Fed.  Don’t question war.  Don’t question the military/industrial complex.  Don’t question the NWO cabal.  Don’t question the theory of evolution.  Don’t question Area 51.  Don’t question the truth about extraterrestrials.  Don’t question, don’t question, don’t question. 

That is how governments want everyone to reconcile truth: Hear and obey, don’t look, don’t study, don’t ask, don’t question.  That way they keep the masses ignorant, suppressed, poor, and enslaved.

These make up some very disturbing ideas for the average person.  However, those are thoughts for another blog post for another time.  The point of this is, yes, there is information about extraterrestrials to be studied, and if we try to understand, we may be able to reconcile more than we realize.  And, we may be able to reconcile it and correlate legends and myths of Extraterrestrial involvment with early Mankind to events described in the Bible.

Earth Launches Mysterious Odd Shaped Object Into Space (Video)

The latest International Space Station live stream footage (May 20, 2016) shows an odd shaped unidentified red object which appears to rise over Earth’s horizon. The object then shoots off into space.

Given the speed of the strange object, what looks like three separate orbs reflecting a reddish light, it is not likely that the object is a satellite being launched into orbit.

Assuming the object is a man-made spacecraft, though given the odd shape of the object it does not look like a conventional craft, for what purpose they launched it into space?

There’s a Massive Fleet of Spaceships Stationed Behind the Moon, Researcher Reveals

There’s a video circulating on the internet of a spaceship meeting just behind the Moon. The footage was made available by an esteemed academic that wants to reveal the truth to the world once and for all.

There has been much talk about human activity in space. According to numerous sources, the chances for humans to experiment in space other than the International Space Station are extremely likely. Although there has been many intriguing evidence brought to light by the UFO community, authorities still have a closed mindset regarding this subject and go on ignoring it. However, when the academic community released images of an alleged spacecraft located beyond the moon, the matter took a different term.

 

What if I tell you there is conclusive evidence brought by various researchers that show massive movement in the vicinity of our planet? And that images provided are recognized by various universities as being authentic?

 

On March 23, 1983, President Reagan proposed the development of the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI), an ambitious project that would build a space-based anti-missile system aimed at defending the American people from any rogue missiles launched by the Soviets.

 

 

What President Reagan didn’t anticipate at that time was the lack of technological means needed to complete this daring project. The SDI, also dubbed ‘The Star Wars’ program would require extremely advanced technological systems that were yet to be researched and developed. The system (if successful) aimed at inclining the nuclear balance towards the US, giving them an unprecedented advantage when it came to intercepting nuclear attacks, but also mounting them more effectively.

 

According to atomicarchive.com, “among the potential components of the defense system were both space and earth-based laser battle stations, which, by a combination of methods, would direct their killing beams towards moving Soviet targets. Air-based missile platforms and ground-based missiles using other non-nuclear killing mechanisms would constitute the rear echelon of defense and would be concentrated around such major targets as U.S. ICBM soils. The sensors to detect attacks would be based on the ground, in the air, and in space, and would use radar, optical, and infrared threat-detection systems.”

 

Although a lot of effort had already been put into the ‘Star Wars’ program, the technology proved to be too complex to research and handle, so later administrations have decided to cancel it entirely. But was this really the end of the SDI considering the huge amount of effort and funding put into it so far?

 

The US government rejuvenated the idea of missile defense system in the years to come by establishing the National Missile Defense, but evidence suggest their SDI activity never actually seized to exist. Even more, the program has been classified and perfected using funds received through black budget programs. It seems that, at this point, an entire fleet of spaceships is stationed in the back of the Moon, and if it sounds impossible, you may want to watch the video below that’s showing just that.

 

 

 

It was discovered in 2011 by John S. Lenard and published on YouTube to make as many people aware of it as possible. The video reveals numerous objects found in space just near the Moon. If the entire visible design is a mothership or rather more crafts stationed in space remains a topic of debate, but the value of the provided footage is undeniably of extreme importance.

 

YouTube user josephsangelo commented on the promising capture expressing his gratitude towards its discoverer: “Thank you John for this video. The Interstellar Spaceships you’ve shown and are showing us all are immensely important to human historic evolution. Soon we’ll all know there’s life many millions and/or billions of years more advanced than our own. I hope you get an award one day for your professionalism and log endeavors. Is it just me or are there aliens on board moving around the exterior? Who gets the award for the 1st alien spacewalk?”

 

Although there’s a high chance for the UFOs to be alien in nature, the possibility of them being developed by the military is even more likely. After all, the massive funds directed by President Raegan towards the program cannot just sink down the drain, that’s why we suspect the ‘Star Wars’ initiative continued along the years, but it followed a different objective – to secretly develop and test advanced space technology.

 

So why doesn’t the world react more openly to such vital information? Why doesn’t the media disclose the entire deal? Could it be because most official institutions work hand in hand to supress the truth? ....

After that, the Russian ex-president revealed to a journalist that every leader of the Kremlin is handed two folders with classified information regarding the visit of extraterrestrial beings.

 

At that time, Medvedev’s statement was a worldwide premiere, since it was the first time when a high level official publicly acknowledged the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations during the presidential mandate.

 

 

A riveting news article was published in 1980 in the “Sputnik” magazine about the perceptions and experiences of UFOs. This article contains reports from ten Soviet and American astronauts. Only one of these astronauts refused the possibility of UFOs getting in and out of our galaxy.

 

Ievgheni Krunov declared that it’s actually impossible to deny the presence of UFOs, and we should admit that these are more than simple optical illusions, even some of their characteristics like the rapid change of flight course at a 90 degrees angle offers us a lot of food for thought.

 

Astronaut Ghenadi Strekalov mentioned that he witnessed numerous strange and inexplicable phenomena, but hesitates to classify these events in any way. Still, he described a phenomenon observed on September 28 1980, during his day shift on the Mir space station: a flying sphere above the Earth, at an altitude of 20-30 km, around Newfoundland. The atmosphere was clear and the visibility was perfect, so he could watch for about 10 seconds how the sphere was shifting beautiful vivid colors, and afterwards disappearing almost instantly.

 

Strekalov remembered that the UFO had a perfect oval shape. He claimed that he reported the event to the Mission Control Center, but it did not classify as a UFO, concluding that he must be more precautious in the relation with his superiors.

 

According to publicly released documents, in the year of 1952 alone have been checked and confirmed over 100 UFO phenomena with no logical explanation, that were registered and labeled in the CIA archives as “inexplicable”.

 

• “Almost 100 believable confessions remain inexplicable at the moment. However, the CIA monitoring will continue and no reports will be made public.”, the report notes.

 

To the disappointment of ufologists around the world, the declassification of those 10 documents coincides with the relaunch of the “X Files” series and apparently those documents do not contain any information regarding crashed UFOs, encounters or kidnappings.

 

According to the CIA spokesman, the organization believes that the public will find the information extremely fascinating:

 

 

• “We have decided to release to publicity a few files that even the most skeptical individuals will find appealing. Five of these files are fit for “X Files” agent Fox Mulder, but the other 5 files are perfect for his skeptical partner, agent Dana Scully.”

 

Conspiracy theorists believe that CIA’s decision to make these documents public does not coincide with the relaunch of the new X Files series, but rather are an attempt to warm-up the audience for later disclosures.

 

“Apparently, the CIA used the rebirth of the X Files franchise to remind the people that the agency has agents investigating these cases.”, declares Stephen Basset, executive director of Paradigm Research Group, an organization that militates at the White House in order for the government of the United States to admit that aliens are real.

 

If the world will eventually accept the UFO reality we are yet to find out, but hopefully it won’t take long until our governments will spill the beans about the existence of extraterrestrials.

Steven Bassett, directeur van de Paradigm Research Group, lobbyt al meer dan 20 jaar. Hij wil dat het Witte Huis open kaart speelt. In een interview met de krant in Londen zegt de 69-jarige Bassett ervan overtuigd te zijn dat 2016 het jaar is waarin de meest historische aankondiging ooit wordt gedaan.

Bassett ziet het al helemaal voor zich: “Dit jaar zal op de voorpagina van alle kranten ter wereld staan dat we niet alleen zijn. Het belangrijkste nieuwsbericht dat ooit naar buiten is gekomen.”

De lobbyist denkt dat zijn werk nu eindelijk vruchten zal afwerpen. Maar waarom het jaar 2016? Eerder dit jaar zei presidentskandidaat Hillary Clinton dat ze het UFO-mysterie tot op de bodem gaat uitzoeken als ze in het Witte Huis belandt.

Haar campagnemanager John Podesta zei openlijk dat topgeheime UFO-stukken moeten worden vrijgegeven. In februari 2015 twitterde de voormalig beleidsadviseur van Obama: “Mijn grootste mislukking van 2014: wederom niet gelukt de UFO-stukken naar buiten te brengen.”

In september 2015 twitterde Podesta over een interview dat Clinton had met een journalist: “Stel haar de volgende keer vragen over aliens!” In maart dit jaar schreef de Daily Express over de betrokkenheid van Clinton bij het Rockefeller Initiative van Laurance Rockefeller in de jaren negentig, dat gericht was op het naar buiten brengen van gevoelige informatie over dit onderwerp.

Bassett denkt echter niet dat Clinton de president zal zijn die de aankondiging gaat doen. Sterker nog, hij denkt niet dat ze de volgende president zal worden.

Waarheidsembargo

Hij is er zeker van dat wereldleiders na het Roswellincident in New Mexico een ‘waarheidsembargo’ opgelegd hebben gekregen om te voorkomen dat de waarheid over buitenaards bezoek naar buiten zou komen.

“Na Roswell werd dit waarheidsembargo opgelegd onder Truman,” zei Bassett. “Andere landen en internationale media stemden ermee in.”

Nu Clinton in de mainstream media al enkele maanden openlijk spreekt over aliens, wordt het waarheidsembargo doorbroken door Amerikaanse kranten, aldus de lobbyist. Het Witte Huis kan het volgens hem niet veel langer meer geheim houden.

Bassett is er zeker van dat aliens bestaan en ontmoetingen hebben gehad met wereldleiders op aarde. Hij zegt dat dit het best bewaarde geheim ter wereld is.

“De bekendmaking vindt dit jaar plaats,” zei Bassett stellig. “Ik weet niet zeker wie de verkiezingen gaat winnen, maar ik denk dat Obama het gaat aankondigen. Ik ben er 85 procent zeker van dat Obama de aankondiging zal doen voordat hij het Witte Huis verlaat. Enkele dagen later zal de Britse premier Cameron volgen.”

Bassett meent dat het waarheidsembargo ook van kracht is in landen als Rusland en China. Hij vindt het vreemd dat president Poetin nooit heeft geprobeerd de waarheid naar buiten te brengen.

“Ik probeer Obama hiertoe te dwingen,” besloot Bassett. “En ik denk dat dat gaat lukken.”

UFO Documentary: Military Case Has New Evidence

Unidentified Flying Object is not readily recognizable to our naked eyes, but they are common these days because many people come forward to report their alleged sightings. A UFO was caught on the radar, and the two former radar technicians on the field came forward to report it. These claims were recorded in a new documentary known as the UFOs and Nukes: The Secret Link Revealed. As named in the title, the documentary makes a statement that aliens have an interest in all the nuclear facilities. It supports the claims of the military witnesses and government documents that claim the alien presence in the nuclear storage areas and nuclear weapons.

The encounter took place at the Royal Air Force Base Bentwaters, in which the radar technicians were involved. During that time, U.S. military leased the bases. The incident commenced on December 26, 1980, when the lights were observed in the forest, and two policemen were requested to investigate. A mysterious object with strange lights was reported coming on their way. The men who approached the object described it as a triangular-shaped extraterrestrial vessel hovering above the forest. It moved to the treetop at a fast speed after watching it for a few minutes.

Nights later, the alleged lights came back. However, this time, Charles Halt, the Deputy Base Commander took with him a team of security law-enforcement officers to investigate. Soon after, they reported a red light with an eyeball-shaped move through the forest. It splits into five disc-shaped objects before they flew. Afterward, they saw another disc-shaped object hovering towards them. It stopped, flying above them with a shot of laser-like beam that lasted a few seconds. According to the documentary, when RAF Bentwaters became the largest American tactical nuclear bomb depot resides in Europe. Afterward, he conducted research to find the one who has been in the RAF Bentwaters control tower during that time. As incredible as this sighting sounds, the documentary covers the present documents obtained from the former Soviet Union that show the same events happened there.

Swirling, Spinning Clouds Seen from Space

Whimsical cloud vortices dot the sky in a new satellite image of an island volcano.

The shot, captured by the Operational Land Imager on the Landsat 8 satellite, shows eddies in the air near Mawson Peak on Heard Island. The island is in the Indian Ocean and belongs to Australia. At 9,006 feet (2,745 meters), Mawson Peak is the island's highest point, according to NASA's Earth Observatory, which released the image May 8. [See Images of Some of the Weirdest Clouds]

Heard Island is off the beaten path, to say the least. It's nearly 2,500 miles (4,000 kilometers) from Australia and more than 600 miles (1,000 km) from Antarctica. But wildlife finds refuge on Heard Island and the islands that surround it. According to the Australian government, four penguin species make their home in the island group, living alongside 15 species of breeding birds, including albatross and petrol. Southern elephant seals, Antarctic fur seals and subantarctic fur seals also use the islands as breeding grounds.

Heard Island is about 24 miles (40 km) long, and growing: Fresh lava has been flowing from Big Ben, the volcano whose highest peak is Mount Mawson, since at least the 1980s. What isn't dominated by fire is covered in ice: According to the Australian government, 70 percent of Heard Island is permanently glaciated.

None of that is visible under the cloud cover in the new image, which was taken May 3. What is visible are the disrupted air patterns caused by Mawson Peak. The clear circles are called von Kármán vortices after the physicist who first described them.

Mawson Peak is the highest point on Heard Island in the Indian Ocean.

It's not the first time satellite imagery has revealed such patterns. In 2012, NASA released a shot of Saint Helena, a volcanic island in the South Atlantic Ocean, featuring similar vortices. They also appear in a shot of Guadalupe in the Pacific taken that same year.

Heard Island is in the "Furious 50s," latitudes known for their strong westerly winds. In short, according to the Australian government, the island is cold, cloudy, wet and windy. Vortices aren't the only cloud formations seen downwind of Big Ben's peaks, either. Cap clouds, which are dome-shaped cloud formations, are sometimes seen hovering over the tops of mountains. UFO-shaped lenticular clouds and twirling roll or rotor clouds (so named because they seem to roll along a horizontal axis, like a barrel down a hill) also form in the turbulent atmosphere above the island.

Billions of Years Ago, Mega-Tsunamis Washed Across Mars

A new study shows that Mars was wracked by huge tsunamis 3.4 billion years ago. These hypersaline seas may have stayed liquid even at subfreezing temperatures—creating a promising environment for life.

SURF’S UP

Roughly 3.4 billion years ago, a giant meteorite smacked into the northern plains of Mars. Not too surprising, perhaps, considering the crater-strewn surface of the Red Planet, which is a familiar sight to anyone who consults the Martian maps put out by the NASA’s Viking Orbiters.

However, the aftermath of the impact is surprising. It triggered a mega-tsunami.

That’s right—a massive wave scoured the Martian surface, leaving a permanent imprint of the ancient catastrophe and leaving evidence for us to find…evidence of a cold, salty oceans (which may once have harbored life).

The work was published yesterday in Nature Scientific Reports, and it also shows that another impact—a few million years after the first—created a second mega-tsunami.

The two tsunamis had estimated onshore wave heights of up to 120 m (almost 400 ft)! And likely washed several hundred kilometers inland. For comparison, the wave that struck Japan in 2011 was just 39 meters ( 128 ft).

“The tsunamis could have been triggered by bolide impacts, which about every 3 million years, generated marine impact craters approximately 30 kilometers in diameter. Thus, the proposed tsunami events likely took place a few millions years apart,” said study coauthor Thomas Platz.

A COLD OCEAN ON A COLD WORLD

In the millions of years that elapsed between the two impacts and their consequent tsunamis, Mars’ climate underwent a rapid deep-freeze. The Martian ocean seems to have largely frozen over, shrinking the shoreline significantly.

“The older tsunami emplaced enormous boulder-rich deposits and as the wave retreated back into the ocean it formed widespread backwash channels,” explains J. Alexis Palmero Rodriguez, lead author of the study and Senior Scientist at the Planetary Science Institute.

The second tsunami, however, formed great lobes of ice where it reached its maximum extent, where the water froze and never returned to the mother ocean. These lobes largely retain the boundaries they had when they froze, and still have their “flow-related” shapes, which means they might still contain frozen and emplaced materials from that ancient ocean—a time capsule, of sorts, filled with fossil remnants of ancient Mars.

They would be a perfect target for a future geological lander on the Red Planet; in fact, some of the features are very close to the old Mars Pathfinder site, so no dramatically new technologies are required to reach them.

It’s thought that the ancient Martian ocean was extremely salty, which means that, even in subfreezing temperatures, it likely remained liquid. Such hypersaline environments are known to be habitable in terrestrial seas, so these “icy lobes” might be a perfect place to search for evidence of past life.

“Subfreezing briny aqueous environments are known to be habitable environments on Earth, and consequently, some of the tsunami deposits might be prime astrobiological targets,” says study coauthor Alberto Fairén, principal investigator at the Center for Astrobiology, Spain.

New Study: Ten-Billion-Trillion To One. We Are NOT The Only Technologically Advanced Civilization

It seems like everyone is talking about the extraterrestrial question these days. Humanity has always wondered, “are we alone?” and a new study seeks to answer that question scientifically, arguing that, not only are we not alone, but we never have been, and there are most likely a number of different intelligent extraterrestrial civilizations out there right now.

The study, published in Astrobiology and written by Adam Frank and Woodruff Sullivan from the Universities of Rochester and Washington, respectively, used the recent discovery of dozens of exoplanets to hypothesize on the likelihood of other technologically advanced civilizations existing. The study emphasizes that, unless the odds of advanced life evolving on a habitable planet are astonishingly low, then “human kind is not the universe’s first technological, or advanced, civilization.”

According to Frank:

The question of whether advanced civilizations exist elsewhere in the universe has always been vexed with three large uncertainties in the Drake equation. We’ve known for a long time approximately how many stars exist. We didn’t know how many of those stars had planets that could potentially harbor life, how often life might evolve and lead to intelligent beings, and how long any civilizations might last before becoming extinct.

Astrophysicist Frank Drake developed an equation in 1961 to estimate the number of advanced civilizations likely to exist in the Milky Way galaxy. The Drake equation (top row) has proven to be a valuable framework for research, though it is impossible to do anything more than guess at variables such as L, the probable longevity of other advanced civilizations. The equation is as you see below.

These researchers applied new exoplanet data to the universe’s 2 x 10 to the 22nd power stars, and found that human civilization is likely to be unique in the cosmos only if the odds of a civilization developing on a habitable planet are less than approximately one in 10 billion trillion, or one part in the 10th to the 22th power.

Frank went on to explain the implications of this discovery:

One in 10 billion trillion is incredibly small. To me, this implies that other intelligent, technology producing species very likely have evolved before us. Think of it this way. Before our result you’d be considered a pessimist if you imagined the probability of evolving a civilization on a habitable planet were, say, one in a trillion. But even that guess, one chance in a trillion, implies that what has happened here on Earth with humanity has in fact happened about a 10 billion other times over cosmic history!

Other scientists have also been weighing in for some time now. A couple of years ago, two top astronomers from the SETI Institute (Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence)  appeared in front of the congressional House Science and Technology Committee for a hearing regarding the search for extraterrestrial intelligence. They told the committee that extraterrestrial life most certainly exists, and that discovering life on other planets is not only inevitable, but will most likely occur within the next 20 years:

In the last 50 years, evidence has steadily mounted that the components and conditions we believe necessary for life are common and perhaps ubiquitous in our galaxy. The possibility that life has arisen elsewhere, and perhaps evolved intelligence, is plausible and warrants scientific inquiry. . . . If you extrapolate on the planets they discovered, there are a trillion planets in the galaxy. That’s a lot of places for life. We know that the majority of stars have planets . . . [but what] fraction of stars has planets that are more like the earth? It might be one in five.

Scientists have already discovered billions of Earth-like planets in our Milky Way galaxy alone, and we would be foolish to think that planets must be just like our own in order to harbour life. Who knows what other kinds of lifeforms have developed, or what their essential conditions for life consist of? We cannot assume that other species will be just like ours.

The Other Probability: We Are Not Alone. We Have Been Visited & Are Currently Being Visited

Below is a great clip of Dr. Brian O’Leary, a NASA astronaut and Princeton Physics Professor, speaking in the Thrive  documentary about extraterrestrials.

Just as the notion that aliens exist is gaining mainstream traction, so too is the idea that we have already been visited by them. We can attribute this shift largely to the recent official disclosure of the UFO phenomenon, which revealed that objects performing impossible maneuvers at impossible speeds that defy our known understanding of physics are commonly seen by trained observers (military personnel).

A declassified defence intelligence agency report details a classic encounter. Like many other encounters of this kind, the object is tracked on air and ground radar, and is confirmed visually by the pilots who are sent to investigate:

As the F-4 approached a range of 25 NM he lost all instrumentation and communications (UHF and intercom). He broke off the intercept and headed back to Shahrokhi. When the F-4 turned away from the object and apparently was no longer a threat to it the aircraft regained all instrumentation and communications. .  . . 

The object and the pursuing F-4 continued on a course to the south of Tehran when another brightly lighted object, estimated to be one half to one third the apparent size of the moon, came out of the original object. This second object headed straight toward the F-4 at a very fast rate of speed. The pilot attempted to fire an AIM-9 missile at the object but at that Instant his weapons control panel went off and he lost all communications (UHF and Interphone).  (source)

Another classic example comes from the Chilean Air Force:

Two pilots on a training mission, each flying an F5 fighter aircraft, tracked the object on their airborne radar. It gave a return equal to ten or more aircraft carriers-except this object was in the air, not floating on the water. Each pilot assumed his radar equipment was faulty, until he learned that the other pilot was also getting the same return. Not only this, but ground radar from a nearby airport also picked up the object and confirmed its huge size. The pilots also saw the object with their own eyes. One pilot later said that at a distance of twenty miles, it looked “like a plantain banana swathed in smoke.” The pilots were frightened, having no missiles or weapons. As they approached the massive object, which had been motionless all this while, it took off at an unimaginable speed. On May 19, 1986, a large portion of Brazilian airspace was occupied by UFOs. The Brazilian airforce kept sending their jets to get a closer look at what they were picking up on radar. Here is a quote from the Brazilian Minister of Aeronautics, Brigadier General Otavio Moreira Lima:

At least 20 objects were detected by Brazilian radars. They saturated the radars and interrupted traffic in the area. Each time that radar detected unidentified objects, fighters took off for intercept. Radar detects only solid metallic bodies and heavy (mass) clouds. There were no clouds nor conventional aircraft in the region. The sky was clear. Radar doesn’t have optical illusions. We can only give technical explanations and we don’t have them. It would be very difficult for us to talk about the hypothesis of an electronic war. It’s very remote and it’s not the case here in Brazil. It’s fantastic. These objects also cause equipment in the jets to malfunction. Many have reported this happening, including Dr. Jacques Vallee, notable for co-developing the first computerized mapping of Mars for NASA, and for his work at SRI International on the network information center for ARPANET, a precursor to the modern Internet. He published a paper in the Journal of Scientific Exploration titled “Estimates of Optical Power Output in Six Cases Of Unexplained Aeriel Objects With Defined Luminosity Characteristics” which examines these occurrences.

While these files only describe unidentified objects, the question of where these objects came from and who is flying them must inevitably arise. And indeed, defence intelligence agencies have also kept files on supposed extraterrestrial matters, a practice which demonstrates their interest in keeping tabs on this issue.

For example, here is an FBI document addressed to “certain scientists of distinction,” to “aeronautical and military authorities,” and to “a number of public officials.”

The document is a letter that was sent to the director of FBI in Washington from the San Fransisco office on a matter pertaining to UFOs & extraterrestrials:

“Lt. Colonel (name redacted) of G2 [G2 means army intelligence], San Francisco advised today he has no further information, and that our Seattle office is in  possession of all information known by him and is handling the matter at Tacoma, Washington.”

The document goes on to provide a copy of a letter written by someone with “several university degrees” and a former “university department head.”

The memorandum also states that “the mere fact that the data herein were obtained by so-called  ‘supernormal’ means is probably sufficient to insure its disregard by nearly all persons addressed.”

Key words to take note of: the fact that they would like to “insure its disregard” by “nearly” everyone addressed.  Does this mean that ‘some’ of the people addressed should not disregard it?

The letter goes on to outline the following: (pages 21 & 22)

• Part of the disks carry crews, others are under remote control.
• Their mission is peaceful, the visitors contemplate settling on this planet.
• These visitors are human-like but much larger in size.
• They are not excarnate Earth people, but come from their own world
• The disks posses some type of radiant energy.
• They do not come from any “planet” as we use the word, but from an etheric planet which interpenetrates with our own and is not perceptible to us.
• The bodies of the visitors, and the craft also, automatically materialize on entering the vibratory rate of our dense matter.
• They re-enter the etheric at will, and so simply disappear from our vision, without trace.
• The region they come from is NOT the astral plane, but corresponds to the Lakas or Talas. Students of esoteric matters will understand these terms.

Then we have cases like what happened in Zimbabwe many years ago, when more than 60 school children witnessed a craft landing and what appeared to be non-humanoid beings exit it. The event led a Harvard professor to conclude that extraterrestrial contact is indeed happening. It’s quite an amazing story and you can read more about it HERE. To this day, these children, now adults, maintain that they were telling the truth.

These are just a few out of many reasons why so many people believe extraterrestrials exist.
