SPACE TWINS

Heading into space is certainly a life-changing experience for each of the lucky astronauts who have had the privilege. But who could have thought that it actually changes you on a genetic level? Thanks to a pair of twin astronauts, NASA has been able to study the changes to the bodies of those who spend long periods of time in space to a degree that wouldn’t otherwise be possible.

To determine how space changes the human body, researchers collected a variety of biological samples from twins Mark and Scott Kelley while Scott was spending 340 days aboard the International Space Station and Mark was left on the ground. The twins were excellent subjects for this kind of research as not only do they have nearly identical genomes, they have also had similar life experiences since they’re even in the same line of work.

In evaluating the brothers’ data, the researchers noticed some striking differences in various biological markers, such as gut bacteria and even chromosomes. One of the more remarkable findings of the testing was that Scott’s telemores, the ends of his chromosomes, were longer, though they eventually returned to pre-mission lengths. Further research will be done on other astronauts to see if this is a common pattern. Also in the genetic realm, Scott’s DNA methylation levels decreased during his time in space, while Mark’s increased in the same period. Once again, Scott’s levels returned to their baseline levels once he was back on Earth, but researchers aren’t sure what such changes even mean.

DNA CHANGES

According to NASA, other studies of how the body fares in space have shown clear differences in spatial orientation, bone density loss at rates up to 12 times higher than those on Earth, loss of muscle strength, and cardiovascular deconditioning. In this study, however, researchers were able to compare genetic changes with samples from a control, providing a more complete picture of the effect.

There is still much analysis to do on the data being gathered, as well as from data that can be gathered from other astronauts. According to Christopher Mason of Weill Cornell Medicine, “The data are so fresh that some of them are still coming off the sequencing machines.” The results have yet to be peer-reviewed, and it could be a few years before they are, given the sheer volume of data.

As we get closer to being able to put a human on Mars, this work becomes more valuable. The trip to the Red Planet alone is a six-month journey. Therefore, crews would be spending at least a year in space. Knowing that our astronauts will be safe is of the utmost importance, and not only for Mars — we will likely be seeing more people in space, in general, especially with the coming of private space stations on the horizon. Knowing how space impacts our bodies is the first step in determining how we can mitigate any deleterious effects for our future adventurers.

The mystery of the true location of the legendary city of Atlantis, which is said to have been destroyed overnight, has captured our imagination for thousands of years.

Now, the discovery of large stone anchors in the Strait of Gibraltar hints the powerful Bronze Age civilisation described by Plato may have existed.

A new National Geographic documentary called Atlantis Rising charts an epic search for the lost city from Santorini, Greece to the islands of the Azores, comparing theories based on literature about the enigmatic civilisation.

The origins of the myth of Atlantis lies solely with Greek philosopher Plato, who referred to the Bronze Age city in two of his dialogues, 'Temaeus' and the 'Critas', in the fourth century BC.

In them, he says the Atlanteans mined gold and silver which they used to decorate temples and walls, while the capital of Atlantis was a port comprised of rings of land and sea.

Plato suggested the civilisation was destroyed overnight when an earthquake and tsunami struck, destroying the city's important port which was buried beneath mud.

Experts featured in the new documentary, produced by Titanic director James Cameron, draw on Plato's texts in a bid to reveal the lost city's location.

Filmmaker Simcha Jacobovici told IBTimes UK: 'We went back to this source and used the way he describes Atlantis as a treasure map, comparing the city's features with existing places.'

They did not expect to find a complete city, but set out to discover artefacts that had survived the ravages of time and may have been washed into the Atlantic by a mighty wave, thousands of years ago.

The team of scientists and marine archaeologists used advanced navigation techniques and multi spectral imaging to uncover clues about the Lost City of Atlantis, which some scholars believe to be entirely fictional.

Professor Richard Freund, University of Hartford, added: 'Plato is writing in a very specific time period, so when he says Atlantis was located at the strait of Gibraltar - he called them the Pillars of Hercules at the time - every single mariner, every single Greek reader, knew exactly where he was talking about.'

Clips of the documentary, which aired on 29 January, show marine archaeologists discovering a large stone anchor in what was the Pillars of Hercules.

The anchor, which measures 83cm across and has a hole in its centre, could be evidence of docks or breakwaters at the dive site.

Professor Richard Freund of the University of Hartford, said in a clip: 'It's a really amazing find.

'This anchor you can get very excited about. 

'This is a 3,000, 4,000-year old anchor that is massive for a very large boat, which shows us that ancient large boats were sailing into this area 4,000 years ago.'

In fact, the team discovered six of these intriguing artefacts that could date back to the Bronze Age – the largest ancient anchor hoard to be found in the Atlantic near the Strait of Gibraltar.

'Atlantis Rising' also divers explore the seas around Santorini and around the islands of the Azores, to compare a range of theories about the enigmatic civilisation

'These anchors could be 3,500 to 4,000 years old and establish a harbour in the Atlantic, where I didn't even dare dream to find anchors,' Mr Jacobovici told Indiewire.

'If we found six on a few dives, there must be thousands out there, confirming Plato's report of a port just past the Pillars of Hercules,' he said in the documentary.

The programme explores multiple locations in its bid to unlock the mystery of Atlantis.

For example, Plato wrote that ships sailed the Atlantic stopping at the Azores and experts touched on the recent discovery of pre-Roman structures on the remote islands that suggest ancient people sailed the vast ocean thousands of years before Columbus, in keeping with the famous tale of the lost city.

The documentary also travels to Donaña National Park in Southern Spain, which was the subject of a previous 'Finding Atlantis' documentary.

The marsh used to be an open bay adjacent to the Pillar of Hercules – the ancient name given to the Strait of Gibraltar - where the anchors were discovered, suggesting it could have one been the site of the lost city.

The researchers explored a number of areas, including Santorini, Greece, the Donana National Park and Campanario in Spain, and the Azores islands, marked on this map

The programme also includes author Georgeos Diaz-Montexano's idea that some Atlantian refugees fled inland to what is now Campanario, southern Spain and rock carvings in the area seem to show a record of the epic tale and its drowned port.

Pointing to one of the rock etchings, Mr Diaz-Montexano said: 'You can see around three inscribed boats here with about eight to 12 oars each.'

Experts used spectral imaging to take a closer look at the etchings, revealing a horse and boat which could be interpreted to be sinking beneath a wavy line depicting the sea, as well as concentric circles, which were a feature in Plato's description of the lost city.

It has previously been suggested that the present day islands of Santorini or Malta may once have been Atlantis, but neither fits with Plato's description.

Mr Jacobovici told IBTimes UK that while Santorini was destroyed overnight by a volcanic eruption and was home to an advanced Bronze Age civilisation, it is not on the Atlantic side of the strait of Gibraltar, as described by Plato.

While the documentary is not able to pinpoint without doubt the site of the Lost City of Atlantis, it compares archaeological examples of concentric architecture, for example, with Plato's descriptions.

This led the researchers to surmise they may have been a 'mother city' of Atlantis – possibly in southern Spain – but the advanced civilisation spread across the Mediterranean.

'Southern Spain may have been the centre of a civilisation which spread to Malta, Santorini or all the other places we have investigated,' Jacobovici said.

However, artefacts uncovered on land and sea have yet to be examined in the lab to reveal their origins, meaning some scholars who believe the Lost City of Atlantis is an allegory constructed by Plato, may not be convinced.

SEA-GOING SUPERPOWER, OR WAS PLATO PLAYING POLITICS? 

Atlantis was first described by the Greek philosopher Plato more than 2,000 years ago.

While many believe the story is a myth created by Plato to illustrate his theories about politics, others insist it is based on a real historical disaster.

According to Plato's account, written around 360BC, Atlantis was a major sea power located in the Atlantic.

It was larger than ancient Libya and Asia Minor (modern Turkey) put together, and was 'the way to the other islands, and from these you might pass to the whole of the opposite continent'.

His account included detailed descriptions of the island - with mountains in the north and along the coast, and a plain in the south.

Its kings were descended from Poseidon - the god of sea - but their divine lineage became diluted as they mixed with mortals.

By around 9600BC the island had conquered much of Western Europe and Africa and enslaved its enemies.

This date would make the city nearly as old as the end of the last Ice Age and pre-dates the earliest recorded city states, found in what is now Iraq, so seems rather unlikely.

After a failed attempt to invade Athens, the entire island sank into the sea 'in a single day and night of misfortune' which may have involved a volcanic eruption.

Over the centuries, scholars have attempted to locate the real Atlantis - believing the account was based on a real ancient superpower.

One of the theories is that Plato was describing the Minoan civilisation on Crete and the neighbouring island of Santorini which was devastated by a massive volcanic eruption around 1600BC, but others believe the islands do not fit Plato’s description of Atlantis’ location.

Some believe the Atlantis myth was inspired by the Black Sea floods of around 5,000BC - an event that may have also generated the flood stories which appeared in the Old Testament.

Une équipe de chercheurs britanniques, canadiens et italiens estime avancer la première preuve d’observation que notre Univers primitif était jadis un hologramme. Ces travaux publiés dans la revue Physical Review Letters ne suggèrent pas que nous vivons dans un hologramme en ce moment, mais plutôt que dans les premiers stades de l’Univers — quelques centaines de milliers d’années après le Big Bang — l’Univers fut projeté en trois dimensions à partir d’un hologramme à deux dimensions.

L’Univers holographique évoqué dans les années 90 suggère qu’une description mathématique de l’univers nécessite en fait une dimension de moins qu’il n’y paraît. Toute l’information qui crée aujourd’hui notre réalité serait en fait contenue dans une surface à deux dimensions. Cependant, cette fois, c’est l’univers tout entier qui est codé ».

C’est pourquoi les chercheurs tentent de combiner ces deux physiques et le concept d’un univers holographique possède le potentiel de réconcilier les deux. « Un système à moindres dimensions serait compatible avec tout ce que nous voyons depuis le Big Bang », explique Afshordi Mandelbaum qui a participé à l’étude.

Pour avancer leurs preuves, les chercheurs ont créé un modèle informatique pour simuler un univers holographique. Dans ce modèle, vous aviez une dimension de temps et deux dimensions spatiales au lieu de trois. En « nourrissant » leur modèle avec des informations réelles sur l’Univers, y compris des données sur le fond diffus cosmologique, les chercheurs se sont rendu compte que les données s’intégraient parfaitement. En revanche, le modèle ne convenait que pour un petit univers (pas plus large que dix degrés).

Que peut-on en conclure ? Les chercheurs disent qu’ils sont encore loin de prouver que notre Univers primitif était en fait une projection holographique, mais le fait que des données d’observation du monde réel pourraient expliquer une partie des lois de la physique manquantes en deux dimensions signifie que nous ne pouvons raisonnablement pas l’exclure. Donc, y a-t-il une chance que nous vivons tous dans un hologramme en ce moment ? « Pas tout à fait », répond Afshordi, « le modèle ne s’applique uniquement qu’à l’Univers à ses débuts ». Quant à savoir comment s’est opérée la transition entre les deux, ça, c’est une autre énigme.

Why The Aliens Wont Talk To Us And The ELITE NEED REMOVING!

This morning I had my usual cup of coffee first thing and my traditional bowl of porridge to kick the day off, and then did my usual thing of checking out Facebook and the news on my phone…..This is where it all went wrong! Immediately on FB I was presented with the most disgusting acts of cruelty towards animals! So I then decide to check out the News, of which I am then confronted with stories about a guy being nearly beaten to death with batons by the Police in front of his child!? Oh and then I read another ‘happy’ story about how those vile sub Humans The ‘Islamic State’ have been going around Syria and Iraq raping and murdering 100’s of women and children, simply disgusting and evil!

And this ladies and gentlemen is exactly the reason why the Aliens do NOT want to speak to any of directly, until we actually one day gain a true sense of humanity and unite as one.

So what could be the key factors for why the Alien Beings haven’t talked to us yet directly? Well please check out the below to give some clear-cut evidence as to why this:

Mankind’s cruelty

The Human race (as mentioned above) are slowly but surely becoming a very cold-hearted species, you just got to look around to see that.  With wars going on in many parts of the word and violent crime on the rise daily is it really a surprise why the ET Beings do not come down from the sky and say hi? No it is not as we now live in a world where violence is a way of control.

The ET beings are not stupid and can see what we are like as a species and what the consequences could be for the Human Race if Aliens did try reaching out to them! We have become war mongering creatures that use power to manipulate and control.  We are restricted to different countries boundaries around the world and have our 40 hours per week and pay your bills monthly lifestyle already mapped out to us all by those who Govern us – is it surprising so many do not have an interest in what life lies beyond planet earth when they are so heavily burdened down with the mediocre chores penned out for them….

What must the ET’s think of our actions?!

Unless the human race as a whole start learning more about how to treat others in this world, then we will always be deemed by the ones who watch us from the skies to be too aggressive to approach.

China is one of those countries (sadly one of many) that give planet earth such a bad name, by the way it treats its fellow man and creatures that share the same vast country.  Animals in China have no rights and are treated in the most barbaric of ways possible, usually before they are killed and then eaten.  (just look up their disgusting Dog Eating festival which slaughters up to 10,000 dogs!).

U.I.P will not stereo type, but if the Aliens are watching us then they will be DISGUSTED by countries such as China and the way they appear to promote lack of care or understanding for any living creatures! How would a religious extremist view an Alien Being? Simple, they would want to kill it like any other brainwashed extremist would. Lets take the cowards known as the Islamic State (or ISIS) whose only ambition in life is to create havoc and suffering throughout the world. Terrorist groups like ISIS are trying to divide the world and wipe out anything that is different to them. Terrorist groups like this are also trying to remove evidence of the Human Races history by destroying famous statues and artefacts which have been around for nearly as long as we have as a species!

SCIENTISTS HAVE DISCOVERED A LOST ANCIENT CONTINENT IN THE INDIAN OCEAN

Humanity has only just begun to tap the surface about the mysteries held by the vast oceans which cover so much of this Earth. Scientists are regularly discovering new species of animals in the deep sea and experts are even uncovering the early stages of proof for lost continents and perhaps even lost civilisations. One such newly discovered continent has recently been located at the bottom of the Indian Ocean, between India and the island nation of Madagascar. It is believed that the continent once covered the ocean up to the point of the East African island of Mauritius.

 

ANCIENT CONTINENT DISCOVERED UNDERNEATH THE INDIAN OCEAN 

 

Geologists have long been fascinated with the rocks on the island of Mauritius as some of the mineral fragments uncovered there are around 3 billion years old. This is significantly older than the relatively young island which was created approximately ten million years ago as the result of extreme volcanic activity. It was speculated that these highly ancient fragments had originated in a lost continent located deep beneath the island nation. Now, these suspicions have been confirmed. 

 

 

Researchers working at the University Witwatersrand in South Africa have been using a novel imagining technique known as mass spectrometry to investigate these suspicious. They discovered that the mineral fragments had been transported to the island by travelling lava emanating from underneath the sea. This indicates that there is a continental crush beneath Mauritius. According to Professor Ashwal, the lead author on the team’s report, this continent would have once “formed part of the ancient nucleus of Madagascar and India.” 

 

Experts have suggested that this lost continent, which they have dubbed Mauritia, would have been an incredibly dangerous place in the past. The region would have been covered with volcanoes and would have experienced both earthquakes and volcanic eruptions on a fairly regular basis. According to the researchers, it is likely that the continent was fragmented by this intense seismic activity which would have occurred in the region from the early Cretaceous period onwards 

 

 

According to Alan Collins of the University of Adelaide, more and more lost continents have been discovered in recent years, including underneath his homeland of Western Australia. “It’s only now as we explore more of the deep oceans that we’re finding all these bits of ancient continents around the place, ” he said.

NEUROSCIENTISTS BELIEVE THEY’VE FOUND PROOF FOR LIFE AFTER DEATH & PRESENT IT TO THE UNITED NATIONS

Scientific knowledge is expanding every day at an exponential rate, and the implications of new developments, particularly those that challenge the current framework regarding the true nature of reality, are far-reaching indeed. One area that continues to become a focal point of study for many physicians and neuroscientists is the relationship between mind, brain, and consciousness.

Is the brain a receiver of consciousness, or is consciousness a product of the brain? Although science has not yet shown with absolute certainty that consciousness exists separately from our physical organs, there is a lot of evidence (both anecdotal and scientific) which indicates that consciousness is something completely separate – that it continues on even after we have deceased, that it is and can be a separate “thing” from the brain. There seems to be a lot of consistency when it comes to studies that have examined this issue. New findings within this field are rapidly changing how we perceive and relate to the physical world.

Below is a video of Dr. Bruce Greyson speaking at a conference that was held by the United Nations. He is considered to be one of the “fathers” of near death studies. He is Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Science at the University of Virginia.

In the video he describes documented cases of individuals who were clinically dead (showing no brain activity), but observing everything that was happening to them on the medical table below at the same time. He describes how there have been many instances of this – where individuals are able to describe things that should have been impossible to describe. Another significant statement by Dr Greyson posits that this type of study has been discouraged due to our tendency to view science as completely materialistic. Seeing is believing, so to speak, in the scientific community. It’s unfortunate that just because we cannot explain something through materialistic means, it must be instantly discredited. The simple fact that “consciousness” itself is a non-physical “thing” is troubling for some scientists to comprehend, and as a result of it being non material, they believe it cannot be studied by science.

More Research

“Some materialistically inclined scientists and philosophers refuse to acknowledge these phenomena because they are not consistent with their exclusive conception of the world. Rejection of post-materialist investigation of nature or refusal to publish strong science findings supporting a post-materialist framework are antithetical to the true spirit of scientific inquiry, which is that empirical data must always be adequately dealt with. Data which do not fit favored theories and beliefs cannot be dismissed as priori. Such dismissal is the realm of ideology, not science.”  – Dr. Gary Schwartz, professor of psychology, medicine, neurology, psychiatry and surgery at the University of Arizona (1)

In 2001, international medical journal, The Lancet, published a 13 year study on Near Death Experiences (NDEs). (2)(3)

“Our results show that medical factors cannot account for the occurrence of NDE. All patients had a cardiac arrest, and were clinically dead with unconsciousness resulting from insufficient blood supply to the brain. In those circumstances, the EEG (a measure of brain electrical activity) becomes flat, and if CPR is not started within 5-10 minutes, irreparable damage is done to the brain and the patient will die”

A total of 344 patients were monitored by the team of researchers, and an astounding 18 percent of them had some sort of memory from when they were dead, or unconscious (no brain activity), and 12 percent (1 out of every 8) had a very strong and “deep” experience. Keep in mind that these experiences have occurred when there is no electrical activity in the brain following cardiac arrest.

Another study comes out of the University of Southampton, where scientists found evidence that awareness can continue for at least several minutes after death. In the scientific world this was thought to be impossible. The study is the world’s largest near death experiences study ever published, and it was published in the journal Resuscitation. (4)

“In 2008, a large-scale study involving 2060 patients from 15 hospitals in the United Kingdom, United States and Austria was launched. The AWARE (AWAreness during REsuscitation) study, sponsored by the University of Southampton in the UK, examined the broad range of mental experiences in relation to death. Researchers also tested the validity of conscious experiences using objective markers for the first time in a large study to determine whether claims of awareness compatible with out-of-body experiences correspond with real or hallucinatory events. ” (source)

This type of phenomenon has not only been recorded looking at Near Death Experience’s, but also with studies in the realm of parapsychology. One study in particular that related most to this topic, spanning more than two decades, was conducted by researchers at Stanford University in conjunction with the United States Department of Defense. It was called the “remote viewing program.”

A gentlemen by the name of Ingo Swann was able to successfully describe and view a ring around Jupiter, a ring that scientists had no idea existed. This took place precisely before the first ever flyby of Jupiter by NASA’s Pioneer 10 spacecraft, which confirmed that the ring did actually exist. These results were published in advance of the rings’ discovery. The successful viewing of the ring by Ingo came after scientists observed him identify physical objects in hidden envelopes that were placed a few hundred kilometers away.(5)(6)(7)

This type of thing lies within the realm of extended human capacities, and is one example out of many that have been documented and observed, yet lack a scientific (materialistic) framwork that provides some sort of theory.

There is study after study, book after book, and lecture upon lecture. This is simply a very brief and condensed summary of a topic that has been examined for years.

ZE LATEN ZICH STEEDS VAKER ZIEN

Er worden de laatste tijd steeds meer mooie en duidelijke UFO opnames gemaakt, waarbij ze zich op heel opvallende plaatsen laten zien. 

Zoals bij vulkanen, bij chemtrails, maar ook regelmatig in de buurt van verkeersvliegtuigen zoals onlangs bij London Heathrow het geval was. 

De waarneming bij Heathrow is gedaan door een man die met een goede camera zijn tuin in ging om daar wat foto’s te maken die hij als wallpaper op zijn computer kon gebruiken. 

Zodra hij buiten kwam zag hij een vliegtuig op een hoogte van ongeveer 1500 meter met een vreemd object in de buurt.

Wat de man opviel, was dat het object zonder enige moeite tegen de windrichting in bewoog en varieerde in hoogte. Het kwam behoorlijk dicht in de buurt van het vliegtuig zoals op de afbeelding hierboven te zien, en schoot toen onverwacht omhoog waarna het vervolgens uit het zicht verdween.

Wat verder opviel was dat er ook enkele vliegtuigen op grote hoogte vlogen en dat toen de UFO naar boven schoot en deze passeerde er opeens een contrail/chemtrail achter deze vliegtuigen verscheen, alsof de temperatuur van de lucht plotseling was veranderd. 

Bovengenoemde zaak werd deze week ingediend bij Mufon en staat geregistreerd onder nummer 81809. 

Via een lezer (dank!) ontvingen wij een prachtige opname van een klassieke retro UFO bij één van de Mexicaanse vulkanen. Dit beeld is al wat ouder, maar hij laat heel goed de vorm zien van wat wij de klassieke of retro vliegende schotel noemen.

Dit ontwerp UFO wordt ook veelvuldig in verband gebracht met de Duitse varianten aan het einde en na de Tweede Wereldoorlog. 

Eén van hun meest bekende ontwerpen, de Haunebu, zag er als volgt uit:

De vraag of we met al die onbekende vliegende voorwerpen in onze lucht te maken hebben met aardse objecten, eventueel gebouwd met behulp van buitenaardsen, of dat het inderdaad bewoners zijn van andere planeten blijft vooralsnog onbeantwoord. 

Een mix van beiden is natuurlijk ook nog heel goed mogelijk en volgens iemand die veel onderzoek heeft gedaan, hebben we nog niet het laatste gezien van de Duitsers op Antarctica: 

Ik verwacht wel dat ze in zullen grijpen op het hoogtepunt van de aankomende derde wereldoorlog en dit zal de dag des oordeels/dag van de waarheid zijn. Hoe dit plaats zal vinden, daar durf ik niet echt iets zinnigs op te zeggen, ik vermoed echter wel dat het op dat moment een bewustzijnsverhoging zal veroorzaken, een WTF moment dat de wereld nog niet gezien heeft.

UFO Seen Hovering Over Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco On Jan 29, 2017, Photos, UFO Sighting News.

Here is a great sighting from San Francisco this week. A UFO was seen flying over the bridge, probably admiring the construction of the mile high bridge. The original photo had the UFO too far away so I zoomed in and made it more visible here. I have reported about 5 UFOs near the bridge area over the last 4 years, but never with such great detail.

Upon reviewing the pictures, I noticed something that was unlike the other things in the sky (birds). I didn't notice it at the time, just afterwards while looking at the photos. Possible Nazi Base Found In Antartica That Once Had UFOs, Videos, UFO Sighting News.

I have been hearing a lot about Antartica lately. About hidden alien bases found on Google Earth map, and an old Nazi base found abandoned.  This subject cannot pop up so many times unless the truth is fighting to get out. I think this deserves more attention, and if world leaders are showing up in Antartica for no apparent reason, you can bet that they were there to see something monumental.
