Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

WETENSCHAP & PLANEETEindelijk, klinkt het bij diegenen die er al maanden naar uitkeken: de krachtigste raket sinds maanraket Saturn V is deze avond de ruimte ingestuurd onder het oog van een luid juichend publiek. Aan boord: de rode Tesla van Elon Musk. Hij hield dus woord.
Je weet maar nooit wie binnen miljoenen jaren ons zonnestelsel met een bezoekje vereert. Al staat één ding vast: ze zullen in de baan om de zon plots een rood voertuig zien cirkelen. Een Tesla Roadster, met uitneembaar glazen dak. “De snelste wagen ter wereld in 2017, toch volgens de oprichter van Tesla, Elon Musk”, zullen ze op het internet (?) zien verschijnen wanneer ze op zoek gaan naar wat meer informatie. “In de ruimte gestuurd op 6 februari 2018.”
Vandaag dus. En wat al maanden als grap werd bestempeld, bleek nu toch waar. Elon Musk - ook oprichter van ruimtevaartbedrijf SpaceX - postte gisteren nog een foto op sociale media: z’n auto zat vastgegespt boven in de Falcon Heavy-raket.
Bij een testvlucht is de kans op mislukken altijd groot. Dan mag er geen cruciale satelliet verloren gaan, en al helemaal geen mensenleven. Daarom worden zulke raketten geladen met ballast. Meestal is dat beton, maar voor deze vlucht koos Musk dus voor zijn eigen 1,25 ton zware auto. Die zal rond de zon draaien, tussen de Aarde en Mars. Op het verste punt zal hij 400 miljoen kilometer van ons verwijderd zijn. In de ruimte wordt de Tesla de snelste auto ooit, met een snelheid van ongeveer 42.000 kilometer per uur.

De lancering vanaf lanceerplatform Apollo 39A op Cape Canaveral in Florida was aanvankelijk gepland voor 19.30 uur Belgische tijd, maar werd uiteindelijk uitgesteld naar 21.45 uur omwille van hevige wind. Stipt op tijd ging de raket onder luid gejuich van een live publiek de lucht in. Meer dan twee miljoen kijkers volgden de lancering online op het SpaceX-YouTubekanaal. Onderweg klonk het ‘Space Oddity’ van David Bowie uit de speakers, hoewel daar in het luchtledige van de ruimte niet veel van te horen zal zijn. Achter het stuur zat een pop, Starman.
Om los te komen van de grond had de raket 27 motoren, die evenveel kracht hebben als achttien Boeings 747. Toen de taak van de zogeheten boosters erop zat, keerden ze voorzichtig terug naar de aarde, waar ze veilig landden op Cape Canaveral, klaar voor hergebruik. Het lanceerplatform ademt trouwens geschiedenis uit, want ook Neil Armstrong werd vanaf deze basis naar de maan gestuurd.

In april 2011 al maakte SpaceX bekend dat “the world’s most powerful rocket” een lanceerdatum had. Al kwam het bedrijf niet verder dan ‘eind 2013 of 2014’. Die datum bleek veel te optimistisch. De raket is pas in het tweede deel van december vorig jaar geassembleerd, waarna het gevaarte goed een maand geleden rechtop werd gezet. Tot de kortstondige shutdown van de Amerikaanse overheid roet in het eten gooide. Op 24 januari volgde eindelijk de eerste test waarbij alle 27 motoren tegelijkertijd ontbrand werden - een huzarenwerk.
En dus was vandaag ook een absoluut nagelbijtmoment. Na jaren uitstel en het feit dat het productieproces “veel moeilijker” bleek dan gedacht, volgde eindelijk de maiden trip. Die voor Musk al geslaagd zou zijn “indien de Falcon Heavy ver genoeg van haar lanceerplatform afkomt, zodat het niet beschadigd raakt”. “Dat zou ik eerlijk gezegd zelf al als winst beschouwen,” liet hij eerder optekenen. En dat lukte meer dan behoorlijk.

Wat de Heavy nu eigenlijk zo speciaal maakt? In feite is hij het sterkere broertje van de Falcon 9 met nog eens twee extra stuwmotoren, die aan weerszijden zijn gemonteerd. De Falcon Heavy heeft in totaal 27 raketmotoren, drie keer zoveel als waar de Falcon 9 over beschikt. De Heavy wordt zo de krachtigste raket sinds de maanraket Saturn V, die sinds 1973 niet meer heeft gevlogen. En heeft meer dan tweemaal de vrachtcapaciteit van de krachtigste raket op de huidige markt (voor de specialisten: de Delta IV Heavy, goed voor 28,8 ton). Ook andere huidige operationele raketten komen lang niet in de buurt van de stuwkracht van de Falcon Heavy. De in 2011 door de NASA uit dienst genomen Space Shuttle bijvoorbeeld kon een vracht van 24.000 kilo in een lage baan om de Aarde brengen. Volgens SpaceX kan hun tuig 63.800 kilo aan. Op een reis naar Mars zou dat 16.800 kilo zijn.
SpaceX zet trouwens de commerciële lanceermarkt op zijn kop, want doel van de Heavy: de komende twee jaar ruimtetoeristen naar de maan en Mars laten vliegen. De raket die de lucht in moet gaan, zal echter vooral gebruikt worden voor vrachtmissies waarbij satellieten in een baan om de Aarde worden gebracht, bijvoorbeeld de zwaardere exemplaren van de Amerikaanse overheid.

In a recent Q&A session with Herald Tribune journalist Billy Cox (who writes about UFOs on his blog De Void), ex-CIA Director John Brennan made relevant comments with regard to UFOs and the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), which basically boiled down to this: (1) UFOs are a concern, (2) they remain unexplained, and (3) he was aware of in-house endeavors to solve these unexplained events. John Owen Brennan was the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency from March 2013 to January 2017. He has served as chief counterterrorism advisor to U.S. President Barack Obama. His responsibilities included overseeing plans to protect the country from terrorism and respond to natural disasters, and he met with the President daily.
Ancient Egypt in Illinois
Historian Glenn Kimball provided updates of his research into ancient manuscripts as well as artifacts found in burial mounds in Southern Illinois (known as “Little Egypt”) that show North America was visited by overseas travelers thousands of years before Columbus set sail. The Mississippi Valley is home to over 10,000 burial mounds, which contrary to widely held academic opinion were not all left behind by Native Americans.
Black market relics found in the region depict Egyptian pharaohs, Moorish sailors, Christ on the cross, Jewish warriors, and Roman military imagery. Further, runes from artifacts found in Illinois, Michigan, California and Utah talk about migrations of people from the Middle East, Kimball said..
Kimball is currently working on gaining permission to dig in an area of Illinois where ground-penetrating radar has shown several chambers exist along a 1500 foot underground corridor. Glenn Kimball has successfully completed all course work for a Ph.D. in Communications and passed his doctoral exams. He was the former president of International Exchange School. Glenn taught at Southern Illinois University and has been collecting ancient texts since the age of fifteen and is famous for being able to integrate very diverse texts into a contiguous story line.
After 25 years of research, during which Kimball visited museums, Indian tribes, medicine men, and universities, he assembled some of the missing links and unsolved mysteries of Christianity. .
Harry Hubbard has written, several books, and articles concerning the archaeological discovery.
Harry reports on the Illinois caves, first discovered in spring of 1925 by Orville Lowery, of Hickory Hill, in the southeast corner of Marion County Illinois. Harry and fellow researchers were able to amass large quantities of information from the artifacts as to who the people were that constructed the “Illinois Mystery Cave” and the identities of the corpses who lay interred within it. Green area shows Mound Building areas that include European, Indians, and some giant remains.
Harry feels the mainstream archaeological community has suppressed America’s true history. Some of the artifacts depict strange but highly detailed images of humanoids, aliens, UFOs and more. The language depicted on the artifacts was decoded, using L.A. Wadell’s groundbreaking technique. Harry tells of the wars, famine and political upheaval in the Ptolemaic dynasty in Egypt and Cyprus as Rome conquered the area and why they may have fled, ultimately arriving in America.
Cleopatra VII was the last person to rule Egypt as an Egyptian pharaoh. After her death on August 12, 30 BC Egypt became a Roman province. Cleopatra VII was a member of the Ptolemaic dynasty of Ancient Egypt, and therefore was a descendant of one of Alexander the Great’s generals who had seized control over Egypt after Alexander’s death. Some researchers speculate this tomb is Alexander’s, Ptolemaic Pharaohs, and Cleopatra’s final burial place. It is thought Cleopatra took her family, numerous ships, supporters and sailed to Illinois and set up a base. Allegedly Alexander was buried in a solid gold coffin.
Strangely some the details from tablets clearly show Reptilian and other E.T. contact. Many of the carvings depict aliens, alien craft, that appear. Nothing here is made up or even slightly contrived. Harry outlines the parallels between Old World and New World contacts with E.T.’s 2000 years ago. There is evidence of contact with races from the sky. It is obvious these people were in contact with aliens most of whom appear to be reptilian.
The tomb had carvings of UFOs with tablets stating “A basket-like object magnificently comes and goes in a swift-like motion, and on its base can be observed many red lights twisting together.”

Ancient King Alexander ruled the entire Mississippi/Ohio/Missouri River Basins, including the Great Lakes region through Canada east to encompass the island of Newfoundland and the immediate regions north and south along the Atlantic Coast. His domain was called “Aderion” in most texts and “Happyland” or “Land of Many Smiles” in others. His fleet of many ships was well supplied with goods, colonists and artisans. This Ancient King’s name is Alexander Helios (Helios, in Greek means Sun). The abbreviated symbol for his name is always his motif, and commonly appears with a Sun symbol. Alexander Helios has been missing from History since age 10, when he was last recorded by the ancient writer Cassius Dio, in his History, Book 51. Helios was born in 40 B.C. and had a twin sister named Selene. They were the oldest children birthed by Cleopatra to Mark Antony. Helios was of Royal lineage as was his father and mother. Recorded History provides no clues as to what happened to Alexander Helios after he became a palace hostage and somewhat adopted by Octavia, Octavian’s sister / Mark Antony’s former wife. History does record that Cleopatra Selene (twin sister) married Juba II, (also a hostage in the court of Octavian) who later was granted back his homeland of ancient Mauretania and acclaimed King Juba II by Octavian.
Working together, Alexander Helios and his brother-in-law King Juba II, have left their fingerprints all over this Monumental Ancient Tomb as can be easily seen by the 100’s of tablets representing their likenesses. Copper Mining
A great deal of copper mining occurred in Michigan that was shipped to Egypt and Europe. Considering that BC period mining was determined to have stopped about the same time as the bronze age in Europe ended, there would be a good bet as to the reason why it stopped here. That and the older mines are dated to coincide directly with that same bronze age period. Unless that is we are still of the silly assumption that roughly 500,000 tons of copper was mined by the ancient Indians to make simple tools, jewelry and hooks with and there is no evidence that they ever used anywhere near even a fraction of that much copper in their culture. So where did all that copper go? To Europe and Egypt where pure copper is found.
Ten tons of copper oxhide ingots recovered from the late Bronze Age (1300 BC) Uluburun shipwreck off the coast of Turkey was “extraordinarily pure” (more than 99.5% pure), and that it was not the product of smelting from ore. The oxhides are all brittle “blister copper”, with voids, slag bits, and oxides, created when the oxhides were made in multiple pourings outdoors over wood fires. Only Michigan Copper is of this purity.
Sphinx Part of Ancient Civilization
Robert Schoch is best known for his argument that the Great Sphinx of Giza is much older than conventionally thought and that possibly some kind of catastrophe was responsible for wiping out evidence of a significantly older civilization. Schoch redated the famous monument to 7000–5000 BC, based on his argument that its erosion was due mainly to the effects of water. Rain that occurred in ancient times. The age of Virgo transisioned to the age of Leo in 10,5000 BC and many feel the Sphinx had a Lion’s face going back to that remote period. The present head appears much smaller than the large body and the calculations for the rain erosion could be extended back much further.
He received his Ph.D. in geology and geophysics from Y ale in 1983.
Schoch’s other theories include the belief that possibly all pyramids in Egypt, Mesoamerica and elsewhere represent a much older global culture such as the Visoko region (Bosnia). Robert’s book is called “Forgotten Civilization, the Role of Solar Outbursts in our Past and Future” Schoch’s proposes that in 9,700 BCE the Sun experienced a super storm with its electoral plasma discharges blasting Earth and causing total destruction and devastation triggering floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and plunging nascent civilization into a dark age. Mountain range in lower left of above image, when enlarged, shows that it is composed of many parallel layers of spheres, unlike any geologic formation. A close-up of mountain with a sharp vertical face, unlike anything that would occur naturally without crustal faulting. These mountains according to conventional interpretation were formed by meteor impact. If that is the case, their internal structure would be chaotic, not ordered and layered.
Those layers of spheres are highlighted with white lines in the image below. A building-like structures is outlined in white at the top of this mountain.
When that mountain exterior is enlarged, instead of smooth dust-covered igneous rocks, it appears like Swiss cheese, full of holes due to a composition of layers upon layers of geodesic spheres which are hollow.
With further magnification, the hollow sphere structure becomes evident. The underground Lunar base was probably printed by an enormous alien machine, and contains hollow cavities and chambers where alien life and resources existed.
The Shard is real. Goddard Space Flight Center has a display of the Shard image. Would Goddard knowingly promote a fake image? The Shard is real. I have reviewed it. It looked to me like a giant construction crane but it is so old the metal has all fused together. However the Moon seemed to be a hive of busy activity. The Moon is very old. If you look very closely at its surface you will see that it is covered with ruins of different ages, some extremely old, and made by different species. It did not originate in this solar system. It was brought here to protect ET operations on Earth. I assume it somehow forwards what the ETs extract from the Earth to its owners. They are, at a rough guess, 30-40,000 light years from here. They can have a war machine in my back yard in 7 hours, probably less if they really step on it. I know that because they did it when I first encountered them.
The local ETs are not doing us any harm. They are mining, but doing so at depths we cannot reach. Some of their experiments on the surface are annoying. I refer to abductions, which I assume are still going on although one never hears about them anymore. These data are new compared with what I have seen and heard on Ancient Aliens, History Channel. They haven’t figured out the magnitude and size of that lunar base, which they have thought was above ground and included obelisks. It may go down 5 km below the surface and be as large as the North American Continent. The aliens have been watching Earth for hundreds of millions of years.

Pentagon’s Secret UFO Study on Coast to Coast Radio
Frank Chille writes, “On January 28, 2018, Eric Davis and Hal Puthoff were interviewed by George Knapp on Coast to Coast Radio.” You have to go to the web page to hear it. Both of them said there is much more to come, and they answered some of the doubts about the Navy UFO videos. The Nimitz and Gimbal UFO videos are both authentic. There is extensive written documentation and most important, radar plots.
Dr. Eric Davis described his role in the Pentagon program which has been front-and-center in the news since a New York Times
Dr. Hal Puthoff described his background beginning as Naval Intelligence officer working for the NSA, to his studies in laser technology, and eventually as a pioneer in the study of remote viewing at the behest of the CIA in the mid-1970s. He defended the recent revelations of apparent government UFO disclosure and his role in Tom DeLonge’s UFO research organization as an effort to “put some sunshine on this area and get it out, so that it’s no longer a subject of ridicule.” Puthoff said he had examined one of the pieces of metal that was announced in the Times article and described it as “layers of various kinds of materials that you wouldn’t expect to be put together” as well as the unusual properties that are gained from this unknown method of materials engineering. It’s not new elements, it’s layered alloys that are nearly impossible for us to reproduce. Don’t count Tom Delonge out just yet.
Dr. Bruce Cornet writes, “Eric Davis and Hal Puthoff were involved in BASS under Robert Bigelow Aerospace, which worked for the Pentagon between 2007 and 2012.” However the project didn’t stop, and continues in secret. Hal said he had very high security clearance and cannot reveal too much. He did reveal Bigelow has pieces of crashed craft, and he knows their exotic construction, is unlike anything manmade.
Knapp asked him what was so different with the metals, and Puthoff let slip that they are micro layered with different elements in layers, unlike anything we have made, he claimed. The layering is at the atomic level, and he speculated that this combination produced unique physical properties that we are trying to duplicate. Was he telling the truth, or was he giving us misleading information so that the Russians and Chinese won’t think we beat them to reverse engineering alien technology? Puthoff and Davis had the opportunity to keep our professional conversations continuing since working for Bigelow at The National Institute for Discovery Science, known also as NIDS , but they did not reach out to me after I was fired. I got the feeling that they do not hold my UFO work in high regard or are not interested in it. Why? During a presentation to Bigelow and Kelleher in April 2004 at NIDS, Bigelow seemed disinterested in my data of Pine Bush UFO performances, as if he thought I couldn’t have been getting so much data. In other words, my data were not alien. Then in the middle of my talk, he walked out. Why?
Perhaps he knew that the hundreds of sightings and photos were of secret military vehicles and technology, and that I was being used by the CIA to classify what I saw and photographed as UFOs on the internet. The Black Triangles may be ours, and the Secret Space Program wanted the world to think they are alien.
As crazy as this explanation may seem, the Black Triangle performance in May 1997 was a Skunk Work’s creation, according to my partner, Marc Whitford, a Navy veteran, who witnessed it and was later told that. For more details see:
So, just how far along are we in developing alien technology? The maps NIDS created from the four databases show a fantastic increase in sightings of Triangles since the Belgian flap in 1989-1991. What most people will have a hard time accepting is that most of that increase is due to our own technology. That is why Bigelow walked out of my talk. This Google Earth photo reveals a sleek aircraft parked at the end of a small runway due west of Jupiter, Florida. To make this discovery more intriguing, the vehicle is parked outside a building owned by Pratt & Whitney. According to the company’s website, it is a world leader in the design and manufacture of top-of-the-line military engines for 31 armed forces around the world. In late 1964, the Pratt & Whitney J58 jet engine powered the first flight of the SR-71 aircraft could reach mach 3.2 without breaking a sweat. The J58 was a single-spool turbojet with an afterburner. It had a unique bleed from the compressor to the afterburner which gave increased thrust at high speeds. Fifty years later it is logical to assume new aircraft can reach mach 5 or greater. Similar craft were seen over Pennsylvania and D.C.
Then back on September 7, 2017 secret advanced aircraft were seen fleeing from MacDill Air Force Base in Central Florida just three days before Hurricane Irma began ripping across the state. As the world marches closer to war, hypersonic aircraft and missiles are being developed and or tested mainly by the United States, Russia, and China. Other countries besides these three are developing hypersonic technologies to a lesser degree.
The race for hypersonic technologies is in full swing among global superpowers. The first nation to acquire these technologies will revolutionize their civilian aerospace and military programs.
As of January 2018, hypersonic technologies are still in development and or the testing phase with many superpowers, though, it’s anyone’s game at this point. Prepping for an engine test on the concrete pad. 2. Prepping for a flight using the runway.

Lockheed Martin’s Skunk Works has confirmed that it is developing the SR-72 spy plane. The successor to the SR-71 Blackbird, which was capable of Mach 3.5, the SR-72 will be a hypersonic unmanned aircraft capable of Mach 6, or just over 4,500 mph. At hypersonic speeds, the SR-72 will be able to traverse any continent in around an hour — meaning, if they’re strategically positioned around the world on aircraft carriers, the US military can strike or survey any location on Earth in about an hour. It is also suspected that the SR-72’s hypersonic engine tech — some kind of hybrid scramjet — will find its way into the US military’s High Speed Strike Weapon (HSSW), a missile that can theoretically strike anywhere on Earth in just a few minutes. This CIA declassified memo confirms government covert interest in Cydonia during the time period of the IMIT (Independent Mars Investigation Team) which was Jan- July 1984 and that they apparently also came to believe it was the remains of a dead civilization.
“The session allegedly took place on May 22 in 1984.” Our final report was not presented in public until the Case for Mars II conference in July 1984. Therefore, again, this confirms that the US government was also investigating the Cydonia area at that time. It would appear, based on remote viewing, that the government confirmed our verdict that it was a site of an ancient civilization. The day of Mars (but not UFO) disclosure , may thus be close. Note that the government has essentially endorsed the idea of a past Mars ocean, abundant water still on Mars, and evidence of Mars life (the meteorites). Tombstone –Looking out towards Open Valley from Silver Mine I spotted strange object an focused in using camera zoom. Object is odd shaped and pure white and hovered for at least 5 minutes on March 17, 2017, with no detectable movement. Thought maybe it was a weird balloon but couldn’t see any tether and if it was free it would have drifted. My husband saw it too. While watching the UsaToday live feed from LiveStream, they where showing Griffith Observatory live broadcast of the Lunar Eclipse Blue Blood Moon event on 1/31/2018.
I just happened to notice an object travelling at a very high rate of speed going down the left side of the moon and downwards to the left until it was out of the frame. Trailing behind the object was a pulsating/flashing light that seemed to flash at regular intervals.

I was leaving my daughter’s home in Washington D.C. to go to Reagan International Airport to catch my plane on November22, 2018 about 7:30 a.m. I had just visited my daughter and could clearly hear a jet and looked up to spot it. Then above us I saw a metal object just hovering silently. It was pretty high up morphing but solid. I take as many pictures as I can before I get in the car. Key Largo — I love sunsets and was heading north out of the keys and took two pictures of the red sunset above the water on January 17, 2018. Today as I was posting pics I was surprised to see this round object with five lights above the water. I didn’t notice the object until 10 days later. In the past, as I was heading down to the keys in the same area, I noticed a light emitting a glow from the ground. It peaked my curiosity, and I kept thinking, what is lit up over there. Maybe it’s a ship. In the past, I saw a triangle above an estuary in New Jersey, where there are no houses. The next day on the radio mentioned the sighting. Mililani — I parked on Akamainui Street facing southwest on January 25, 2018. I just sensed something had glanced up and I saw a different thing than I’ve ever seen. Especially after I realized there were long horizontal lights down each tube, the tubes seemed to have some thick ribs spaced quite a distance apart. They were joined together with something thinner and darker. The pinnacle of the Isosceles triangle had a space where a star sized magenta light twinkled. After the flash it got a brighter white and all the other lights on the tubes grew brighter to drown out any definition. The clouds covered completely it. Evansville – On January 27, 2018, shortly after 6pm I was driving over to a friend’s home when my passenger and I observed a pair of bright orange objects approaching from the northeast. The objects were moving very fast and never varied in there spacing.

Waltham — I took my dog out in our backyard on January 21, 2018, and noticed the yard was lit up. I looked up seeing 4 lights in straight line above the trees. I walked closer and it glowed all together into one bright white light changing to orange and moving up and down and flashing off and on. My dog barked and was afraid. I got my phone and started filming. My dog tried to hide under the porch. I thought I was seeing something I couldn’t explain and this started around at 6:30pm. I remember being outside for maybe 20 minutes when I got inside It was two hours later. My phone started getting static and died while filming. I went inside scared. Kimball — I was outside shoveling snow at my home at 7:15 am, on January 10, 2018. I am a sky watcher so when I noticed some odd looking clouds forming I decided to take photos. I didn’t see the lights that are visible on my photo until just a couple days ago when I was looking through my pictures. Maryland Heights — At around 7:30 p.m. on January 25,’2018, my girlfriend and I were driving back home to St. Charles. As I was driving up the entrance ramp to the highway, we both noticed four very noticeable, but strangely ‘dull’ circular lights moving in the sky, in a perfectly straight formation. They stayed horizontal before then moving in every direction. My girlfriend began recording the lights, as ‘top’ light suddenly ‘faded’ out and then re-appeared at the ‘bottom’ of the formation. The same light faded out again and appeared at the top of the formation.
Once I got off the highway, the lights moved into a triangular formation for 15 seconds before going back to the four-light formation. That was the last we saw of them for the night. I have no explanation for what I saw in the sky. Thanks to MUFON CMS

I was reviewing a picture from a trip I took to the Oregon coast when I noticed a human-like figure with big black eyes looking into the window.

Lopez— We were hiking in State game lands along Mehoopany creek at Mythical falls when we observed this rocket like object higher in the sky than most planes. Moving very quickly across the sky first looking like a launched rocket going upward. It flew similar to how a satellite moves in orbital fashion. My family and I were in DC for a White House tour on August 4, 2017. We climbed up into the Lincoln memorial where there the view is awesome, so I decided to take some pictures. It was around 11 a.m. and I took 3 pictures in a row of the Washington monument. Later, I noticed something on the right of the Washington memorial. Rethymno, Crete— This UFO cloaked in a cloud was seen over Crete on January 11, 2018. You can see that it’s breaking through the clouds. Don’t be fooled by these cloaked craft. Aliens are highly intelligent and often believe that human intelligence is incredibly inferior to them. Thus, humans will often assume the cloud is just a cloud. Al Hamra – On January 25, 2018, at 10 am I was in the backyard and I saw object flying in a very strange way. I decided to take my phone and record a video. At first place I thought it was an airplane but later recognized how very slow it was floating in the air. So maybe it was a cylinder shaped object taken from the angle I was seeing this object.

Padre Abad– On January 26, 2018, at 11 pm, i saw a rectangular shape with 4 lights in a line. It turned on two exterior lights first, then it turned off and turned on two center lights. It then zoomed in and out all in a line towards me. It let me know I was watching it perform a whole show for me. Mount Taishan— Captured over Thailand was a UFO cloaked as a cloud on January 14, 2018. Why would an alien race disguise their craft as a cloud? First they have rules, rules about interrupting without the governments consent. Second they have no intention to frighten people, they instead want to get as close as possible to the ground so that they can scan the inhabitants and their daily routines. I think the cloud cloak is actually pure genius on their part.

After many long years of waiting, on Tuesday, SpaceX successfully launched its Falcon Heavy rocket into space. Though it seemed the launch was going to be scrubbed, the Elon Musk’s aerospace company pulled it off just in time — just 45 minutes before the launch window closed.
And damn, did they do it in style.
Those at Cape Canaveral — and others watching from home — witnessed the rocket system, comprised of three boosters with nine engines each, collectively generate 5 million pounds of thrust at lift-off from launchpad 39A at Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral.
The Falcon Heavy launches on Tuesday.
As the rocket shot into the sky, worries that ice build-up on the central booster’s might fall onto the shorter side-cores was present, as the were concerns that the side boosters may snap off the central booster from the pressure. Luckily for SpaceX, those disaster scenarios didn’t occur as the rocket shot through the blue Floridian sky. There was no fireworks display of explosions on Tuesday, just controlled rocket science.
The real show was only beginning, though. The three boosters separated from each other on the edge of the Earth’s atmosphere, flipped according to plan, and headed back to Earth. The two side boosters landed side-by-side in perfect unison on landing pads near the launch site a few minutes after launch:
The central booster landed landed on the droneship Of Course I Still Love You, floating in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Florida, a feat dampened only by a video camera that shorted out because of the heat and force of the incoming rocket.

The best was yet to come though: The payload for this demonstration mission — SpaceX hopes to show how its reusable rockets can be combined to carry heavier payloads and astronauts to space — was made for an internet audience.
His midnight-cherry Tesla Roadster, with a dummy in the driver’s seat, complete with a SpaceX branded spacesuit, was sent on a billion-year Martian orbit around the sun. The car safely separated from the payload fairing and there’s even a live feed of its orbit.
Musk has been talking about the Falcon Heavy rocket since 2011. It seemed it would launch in September, but that was pushed back due toJanuary, and then on January 27, Musk announced the launch date.
Then on Monday, SpaceX shared this incredible animation of what it expected the test launch to look like.
At 3:45 p.m. ET, Falcon Heavy took off from Launch Complex 39A at Florida’s Kennedy Space Center. It had successful stage and booster separation, and the two side cores executed a beautifully in sync landing at SpaceX’s Landing Zones 1 and 2.
Unfortunately, it seems the center core did not settle on the company’s “Of Course I Still Love You” drone ship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean as planned. While SpaceX has yet to confirm the loss of the core, in the audio of a SpaceX clip from the launch, a voice can be heard saying, “We lost the center core.”
Falcon Heavy, which is now the world’s most powerful rocket, carried a limited-edition Tesla Roadster as its payload, which will travel in an elliptical orbit around the Sun on its way toward Mars. Yes, seriously.
Don’t let the sports car (complete with spacesuit-clad dummy) playing David Bowie’s “Space Oddity” distract you from the real, concrete achievement here, though. In addition to adding to the issue of space junk in a unique way, the car’s trip toward Mars proves that Falcon Heavy is able to carry impressive payloads far beyond Earth.
Humanity’s Next Stop
Though originally designed to carry people, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk told reporters during a teleconference on February 5 that Falcon Heavy will likely not be used for crewed missions. “It looks like BFR development is moving quickly, and it will not be necessary to qualify Falcon Heavy for crewed spaceflight,” said Musk, according to SpaceNews. “We kind of tabled the Crew Dragon on Falcon Heavy in favor of focusing our energy on BFR.”
However, Musk did note that unexpected delays in BFR development could change that. “We’ll see how the BFR development goes,” he said. “If that ends up taking longer than expected, then we will return to the idea of sending a Crew Dragon on a Falcon Heavy around the Moon and potentially do other things with crew on Falcon Heavy.”
It may or may not be Falcon Heavy, but someday, you or I could travel to Marsaboard a SpaceX craft. Seem like sci-fi? So does the idea of a billionaire entrepreneur sending his personal car into space to test a massive rocket.

Beyond SpaceX, humanity’s options for vehicles to the Moon or Mars are limited. NASA is currently developing the Space Launch System (SLS), which is set to be more powerful than Falcon Heavy and just as capable of ferrying passengers. Current estimates suggest that it will be ready in 2022, but delays are common where massive rockets are concerned.
Overall, Falcon Heavy seems like the clear winner between the two vehicles because it’s less expensive. Heavy launches will only cost $90 million as opposed to the $500 million to $1 billiona SLS launch would run. Given the limitations of NASA’s budget and the current administration’s urgent desire to return to the Moon, SpaceX’s rocket seems to be a compelling alternative for a Mars mission.
Today’s successful Falcon Heavy launch will help SpaceX generate interest in space exploration. That interest could translate to new partnerships and increased funding, which the company will need to support their ambitious work to get humanity to our next stop: Mars.

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — The first Falcon Heavy rocket built by the private spaceflight company SpaceX soared on its maiden voyage today (Feb. 6) — a historic test flight that also sent a car toward Mars and included two confirmed booster landings.
Billed as the world's most powerful booster since NASA's Saturn V, the Falcon Heavy rocket lifted off from Launch Pad 39A here at Kennedy Space Center (KSC) — the same site used by NASA's Apollo moon missions and space shuttles — at 3:45 p.m. EST (2045GMT).
Standing 23 stories tall, the Falcon Heavy rocket is SpaceX's largest rocket yet and the most powerful booster since NASA's mighty Saturn V moon rocket. Its first stage is powered by three core boosters based on SpaceX's Falcon 9 rockets, with 27 engines (nine per booster) firing in unison to produce about 5 million lbs. of thrust (22,819 kilonewtons) at liftoff. The rocket will eventually launch payloads of up to 141,000 lbs. (64,000 kilograms) into orbit. That's about twice the payload capacity of its nearest competitor, the Delta IV Heavy, built by United Launch Alliance.
"This is a test flight," SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said yesterday (Feb. 5). "If the test flight works, I think we'd be ready to put satellites on the next mission." That mission, Musk added, could occur within the next three to six months.
A car in space, and reused rockets
SpaceX's Falcon Heavy test flight was arguably one of the most anticipated rocket launches in years, with an estimated 100,000 spectators expected to visit Florida's Space Coast to witness the event. Among those in attendance was famed Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin, who watched as the Falcon Heavy launched from the same pad he used to fly to the moon in 1969.
The two side boosters of the first stage have flown before. One launched the Thaicom 8 communications satellite in May 2016, and the other lofted a Dragon cargo ship for NASA in July 2016, according to SpaceX. [SpaceX's Falcon Heavy Rocket Explained (Infographic)

In a sort of cosmic dance, the three first-stage core boosters returned to Earth much like SpaceX's Falcon 9 rockets have in the past. Two boosters touched down at SpaceX landing sites at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station near KSC. The third was scheduled to land on SpaceX's drone-ship landing pad "Of Course I Still Love You," stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. However, the video feed on the drone cut out before the booster set down. The landings occurred in the span of 21 seconds about 8 minutes after launch as the second stage carrying the test payload continued on to space.
SpaceX has now successfully landed Falcon-family rockets 24 times — three on this mission alone. (The rocket family is named after another famously reusable spaceship, the fictional Millennium Falcon from "Star Wars," Musk has said.)
But perhaps the biggest draw of today's launch was the Falcon Heavy's unique payload: a Tesla Roadster riding atop the rocket's second stage.

Musk announced in December that the "midnight cherry red" convertible, which he owns, would be the first Falcon Heavy payload. Then, on Monday, he revealed another surprise: a spacesuit-clad mannequin called "Starman"(a reference to David Bowie's song "Starman") in the driver's seat, with its right hand on the wheel and left arm resting on the door.
About 28 minutes into today's test flight, the second stage carrying the Roadster shut down its engine, ending the main phase of the Falcon Heavy test flight. If all goes well, the second stage will coast for 6 hours through Earth's Van Allen belts, regions of extremely high radiation, and then restart its engine to send the Roadster and Starman toward Mars.
That maneuver will send the Roadster into orbit around the sun and, in turn, eventually carry the car and Starman about 248 million miles (400 million kilometers) from Earth.
"It will essentially be an Earth-Mars cycler," Musk said, adding that the orbit should bring the Roadster near Mars. There is an "extremely tiny" chance the car could hit the Red Planet, he added.
There are three cameras on the Roadster, Musk said, adding that they should capture "epic views" during the mission.
"I'm not worried about the car," Musk said. "It'll be fine."
A future for Falcon Heavy

Credit: Robert Pearlman/collectspace.comWhen Musk first announced the Falcon Heavy in April 2011, he predicted that its first flight could occur by 2013. But that year came and went, followed by more, as SpaceX tackled the nuances of building a reusable heavy-lift rocket.
Now, with the first test flight in the books, SpaceX is ready to forge ahead with commercial satellite launches. Two missions are scheduled for 2018: the launch of the Arabsat 6A communications satellite, and the Space Test Program 2 mission for the U.S. Air Force, which also includes a solar-sail mission for The Planetary Society.
The Falcon Heavy's raw power, combined with its reusable design, represents a giant leap forward for SpaceX.
"This would be a major milestone in heavy lift," Scott Hubbard, editor of the peer-reviewed journal New Space and an adjunct professor of aeronautics and astronautics at Stanford University, told Space.com before the launch. "A successful test would really advance, in my view, the potential for planning commercially acquired launch services for deep space."
SpaceX aims to sell Falcon Heavy launches for about $90 million per flight. (The single-core Falcon 9 launches sell for $62 million per flight.) By reusing the Falcon Heavy boosters, the company hopes to drastically reduce the cost of heavy-lift space missions to near that of its Falcon 9 missions.
"If we are successful in this, it is game over for all other heavy-lift rockets," Musk said.
The Falcon Heavy is part of a growing list of SpaceX launch services and ongoing projects. The company already provides satellite launch services and Dragon cargo delivery missions for NASA using its Falcon 9 rockets.
SpaceX is also building a crewed version of the Dragon space capsule to ferry astronauts to the International Space Station for NASA, with the first flights scheduled for later this year.
Meanwhile, SpaceX is developing a launch system even larger than the Falcon Heavy, called the BFR (or Big Falcon Rocket). That booster, Musk has said, is designed to launch hundreds of people into space at one time and could be used to transport passengers around the world quickly for point-to-point travel.
Musk said he was thinking of the BFR on Monday while visiting the Falcon Heavy at the launchpad ahead of today's launch.
"I'm looking at Falcon Heavy, and I'm thinking, 'It's a bit small,'" he said.

Scientists find TRAPPIST-1 planets are temperate and have more water than Earth
A set of new studies sheds light on the properties of the TRAPPIST-1 planetary system that is considered the most optimal candidate for finding biological life outside of our solar system.
The recently published studies in the journals Nature Astronomy and Astronomy and Astrophysics shed light on the TRAPPIST-1 star system, and offer new insight into the planets’ composition.
The new studies suggest the tightly-packed planets located some 40 light years from Earth are the best chance of discovering alien life. Ever since the planets were discovered, scientists have been studying the star system to understand what the planets are like on their surface.
Now, the recently published studies suggest that the planets orbiting TRAPPIST-1have great potential to host lie, although researchers caution they are ‘far from establishing’ this for certain.
The TRAPPIST-1 planetary system is made up of seven planets (b, c, d, e, f, g, h) that orbit around the star and, although scientists argue their composition rocky, they are not sterile rocky worlds.
“We now know more about TRAPPIST-1 than any other planetary system apart from our own,” said Sean Carey, manager of the Spitzer Science Center at Caltech/IPAC in Pasadena, California, and co-author of the new study. “The improved densities in our study dramatically refine our understanding of the nature of these mysterious worlds.”
Based on the analysis of how starlight interacts with the planets’ atmospheres, scientists concluded that all seven alien worlds are made of rock just like the Earth, with water accounting for as much as five percent of their mass. Our planet, for example, only has 0.02%.
As for the size, density and amount of radiation the planets receive from their star, the fourth planet (TRAPPIST-1e) is the most similar to Earth; It seems to be the Earth-like in terms of its size and could house liquid water, as reported by the European Southern Observatory (ESO).
Furthermore, researchers also found that the seven planets are considered temperate, which means that under a certain set of geological and atmospheric conditions, all of the planets could meet the necessary requirements to allow water to remain in a liquid form on their surface.
Speaking about TRAPPIST-1, Dr. Amaury Triaud, from the University of Birmingham, a leading member of the international team, said:
“Of the seven planets, and of all the exoplanets that have been identified so far, Trappist-1e is the most resembling Earth, when we consider the amount of energy a planet receives from its star, and its density, which reflects its internal composition. As our next step, we would like to find out whether the planet has an atmosphere since our only method to detect the presence of biology beyond the solar system relies on studying the chemistry of an exoplanet’s atmosphere.”
More information about the TRAPPIST-1 system, and whether or not it’s an ideal place for alien life to thrive will become clearer once NASA’s new James Webb Space Telescope is launched into orbit next year.
A landmark radio astronomy project is about to unveil its first prototype dish antenna.
Tomorrow, researchers and engineers with the Square Kilometre Array (SKA)—to be the largest radio telescope in the world—will inaugurate the dish at a test site in Shijiazhuang, China. And they expect to erect a sister prototype in South Africa by April. But funding, technical, and bureaucratic challenges have forced planners to downsize the first phase of the SKA—envisioned to include hundreds of dishes in South Africa and thousands in Australia—and delay completion by at least 2 years, to 2026.
Still, SKA officials are thrilled to see the first prototypes appear. “It’s great to actually see metal being deployed,” says Phil Diamond, director-general of the SKA Organisation, based in Manchester, U.K. “This is the culmination of a 5-year design program.”
When complete, the SKA will be much more sensitive than current radio telescopes that collect electromagnetic signals from space. In the first phase, Australia is expected to host some 130,000 dishes designed to collect low-frequency signals, while South Africa will host nearly 200 midfrequency dishes. Planners hope to substantially increase those numbers in a second phase. Researchers will use data collected by the linked arrays to investigate a wide range of questions, including what happened just after the big bang and whether there is other life in the universe.
The €674 million project, now backed by 10 partner countries, originally hoped to begin construction in 2018. But that date was pushed back to 2020 as a result of organizational hurdles, including the creation of an organization to oversee the SKA Observatory, and funding troubles forced a downsizing. Diamond says those issues have been resolved, but that countries still need to sign the legal documents.
In the meantime, the first prototype midfrequency dish, built by Chinese company CETC54 in collaboration European partner companies, will be unveiled tomorrow in China, to be joined within a few months by a second prototype in South Africa. The Chinese-led consortium’s design won out against Canadian and South African competitors, in part because of the dish’s superior structural integrity. The midfrequency dishes will need to survive the telescope’s 50-year operational life, so they will be rigorously tested.
Researchers expect to spend at least 6 months, and likely more, testing the two prototypes before attempting to move to full-scale production. “They’re at the start of a long road,” says Tony Beasley, head of the U.S. National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Charlottesville, Virginia. (The United States is not a SKA partner.) “You need to make sure design is correct.”

Projects that began more than five decades ago and still continue to this day include efforts to evaluate bizarre sightings and exotic objects, scan the skies for signs of intelligent transmissions, and develop instruments capable of sniffing out signs of life on faraway worlds. The fact that the government chose to spend some cash on a supposedly scientific look at UFOs—particularly as they could be crucially related to national security threats—really should be no surprise, says Seth Shostak, one of the SETI Institute’s senior alien hunters.
1970s and ‘80s: CIA Investigations of Paranormal and Psychic Phenomena The 1970s and 1980s saw the CIA investigating a bunch of phenomena associated with UFO sightings, such as parapsychology and psychic happenings. According to CIA report “Role in the Study of UFOs, 1947-90 (A Die-Hard Issue)”, “CIA officials also looked at the UFO problem to determine what UFO sightings might tell them about Soviet progress in rockets and missiles and reviewed its counterintelligence aspects.”
1976-1993: SETI/HRMS The only time the search for extraterrestrial intelligence, or SETI, has been written into a NASA budget line, this decade provided as much as $12 million a year for searches using the Arecibo and Goldstone antennas. Around 1990, the government’s SETI program—headquartered at NASA’s Ames Research Center—was renamed the High Resolution Microwave Survey in an attempt to avoid cancellation. Nevada senator Richard Bryan ended up cancelling the program anyway in 1993, right after actual observations had started.
1990s to now: NASA’s Astrobiology Institute Founded in 1998, the NASA Astrobiology Institute is one of many projects within the space agency aimed at investigating the possibility that life exists elsewhere in the cosmos. Scientists under its umbrella are currently thinking about whether life once existed on Mars, if there might be organisms tucked beneath the icy shells of the moons Europa and Enceladus, and how we would even recognize what life beyond Earth looks like if and when we see it. Now, and beyond.
Other ongoing work that continues to rely on federal funds includes developing instruments capable of detecting not only exoplanets but also alien biospheres, as well as work using organisms and environments on Earth as extraterrestrial analogs.

According to the Big Bang theory, the universe was born about 13.8 billion years ago. All the matter that exists today was once squished into an infinitely dense, infinitely tiny, ultra-hot point called a singularity. This tiny fireball then exploded and gave rise to the early universe. The widely accepted age of the universe, as estimated by general relativity, is 13.8 billion years. In the beginning, everything in existence is thought to have occupied a single infinitely dense point, or singularity. Only after this point began to expand in a “Big Bang” did the universe officially begin allegedly.
Does the Universe have a beginning and thus an end state? I think that question itself is very short-sighted. I have a general problem with the word started. We must understand our place in the wonderous and almost entirely unknown mux of energy we call the Universe. Our brains developed with some severe biases. Like linear time, only seeing and experiencing a super slim sliver of reality with our poor biological senses. Our senses are all lockstep into an infinitesimal experience. We can only see a small infinitesimal small slice of the EM spectrum, hear an infinitesimal slice of auditory sensations, our skin and brains as in the other examples can only process an infinitesimal slice of motion, movement, and causation. Our intellects are just as hindered with infinitesimal perceptions and understanding. We are just the dominant animal on planet Earth. We must understand that we are woefully unsuited for any of this question to fall into colloquial understanding limits.
The Universe has no obligation to make colloquial sense to us. We can not (I suspect) even ask or comprehend the correct line of deductive reasoning yet alone understand the answers that must pour forth. We and our intellects are just fleas in a world of infinite. Through our eyes, the universe is perceiving itself. Through our ears, the universe is listening to its harmonies. We are the witnesses through which the universe becomes conscious of its glory, of its magnificence.
We and the Universe are more than just our 3 spatial axes of freedom plus time. The math works out for over 10 axes of freedom (dimensions). It is all this that we must at least try to consider when you think about the big bang, or how the observable Universe began.
First off there is no reason to think in our limited capacity of start and ends. That is a bias we have evolved to trust on our little dirty ball of dirt. That is our level of animal experience and intellect we must understand is by understanding what I wrote so far is incomplete. It is an asymptote that approaches zero. There does not have to be a beginning or an end.
We are 4D creatures in a Universe of many more dimensions. To a single dimensional creature, a single point is infinite. Consider a two-dimensional creature if it ever came upon a circle structure. To that creature the circle is infinite..it would if it could represent it by the symbol for infinity. Where does the circle start? Where does it end? Who created the symmetry of the circle?
We are predominately 3D creatures and the Universe looks infinite to us. It looks like it has a beginning and an end. But it is no truer for us as it is for the 2D creatures mentioned before.
As we go up the dimensional ladder the same questions can be asked ( I assume). What spatial geometry does a 5D creature see in the Universe? I wish I knew. I have some ideas which I have previously written about.
What I do know is that answering “GOD” to any of the questions we have considered so far is just a weak player, a pawn for intellectual stagnation which never answers anything.
There does not have to be a start/end to the grandeur of the Universe. It makes no sense unless you are looking with solely evolved monkey eyes. Eyes that are driven by imperfect cognition, billions of years of evolution in just one place, and a deep fear of death and non-existence. The human construct of “God” is just that a human construct to replace the ponderings which are imponderable by some people. Not their fault.

The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every ‘superstar,’ every ‘supreme leader,’ every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there-on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.”

We could exist in just one slice of a continuum of Hubble volumes which all essentially look the same. What we see as spatial distances may and probably are illusions in the grand scheme of things. Spatial distance and time are different than we can comprehend at this point in our intellectual evolution. Serves us well on planet Earth at relativistic velocities but that is about it.
I suspect that the expansion and the question of the “Big Bang” are moot. Observable by our 3D instrumentation but is no more a complete picture than our vision is when considering the EM spectrum.
There certainly does not have to be a creator. That falls into that limited vision thing I spoke of earlier. The human brain has 100 billion neurons, each neuron connected to 10 thousand other neurons. Sitting on your shoulders is the most complicated object in the known universe and it is still unable to comprehend the truth… so far. In time we will see the truth as prosaic. I know we will have to look forward to the answers not backward thousands of years to lies and deception which is so popular today.

The maiden flight of SpaceX's Falcon Heavy booster, slated to launch tomorrow (Feb. 6), comes factory-equipped with a Tesla Roadster as a part of the payload/ballast, and is meant to be hurled toward a solar orbit that could take it as far out as the orbit of Mars.
But what's the point of sending a car into space? Is it bound to become just more space junk? We asked spaceflight experts to weigh in.
"Payload will be my midnight cherry Tesla Roadster playing Space Oddity. Destination is Mars orbit," tweeted SpaceX founder, CEO and lead designer Elon Musk, referencing the David Bowie song. In a more recent tweet, Musk said, "Falcon Heavy launch simulation almost ready. Will be set to Bowie's Life on Mars." Musk also commented that the Tesla's glove box will contain a copy of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" (Pan Books, 1979) by Douglas Adams, as well as a towel and a sign saying "Don't Panic" (an iconic phrase from the book).

"I love the thought of a car drifting apparently endlessly through space and perhaps being discovered by an alien race millions of years in the future," Musk tweeted on Dec. 2.
Shipping out
Hurling into space using an automobile as a mass simulator is certainly a first. Back in the early development days of NASA's Saturn V booster, several Saturn C-1 test boosters carried thousands of gallons of water to mimic the weight of fully fueled "live" rocket stages.
But does shooting a Roadster into space constitute a frivolous addition to orbital debris?
"He is shipping it out of Earth orbit, so I do not think that there is any risk here," said orbital-debris expert Darren McKnight, technical director for Integrity Applications in Chantilly, Virginia. "The enthusiasm and interest that he generates more than offsets the infinitesimally small 'littering' of the cosmos."
However, McKnight said "it is [a] huge waste of a beautiful car, so I would be happy to take the brand-new red Tesla off his hands, and he can send my five-year old silver Prius into space."
Launch license
On Feb. 2, the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Office of Commercial Space Transportation issued its launch authorization for the Falcon Heavy via Transportation License Number: LLS 18-107.

That license gives the go-ahead for flight of the huge rocket, noting that flight begins with ignition of the first stage from Launch Pad 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center (KSC) and transportation of the modified Tesla Roadster as a "mass simulator" to a hyperbolic orbit with the sun, meaning on a trajectory that will allow it to escape Earth's gravity.
"Flight includes landing of the Falcon Heavy first stage core and side boosters as indicated in the license application," the license states. "A flight is concluded upon SpaceX's last exercise of control over the Falcon Heavy vehicle, including the safing of Falcon Heavy vehicle stages or components that reach a hyperbolic orbit."
Boosterism or "big bang" theory?
No matter how you look at it, the Falcon Heavy is a big deal.
"This is in many ways the most significant launch since the first shuttle launch in April of 1981," Dylan Taylor, an active angel investor in commercial space ventures, told Space.com. "Falcon Heavy has the potential to open up commercial space to deep space for the first time ever."
The rocket's first stage is composed of three Falcon 9 nine-engine cores, adding up to 27 Merlin engines. Those three cores are arranged in an "octaweb" structure.
All that firepower makes for a chancy rocket launch, Musk said last July at the 2017 International Space Station Research and Development Conference in Washington, D.C.
"There's a lot that could go wrong there," Musk said. "It's guaranteed to be exciting."

Indeed, "there's a lot of risk associated with the Falcon Heavy," and there is "a real good chance that [the] vehicle does not make it to orbit," Musk said in July, noting that he wanted to make sure he "set expectations accordingly."
"I hope it makes it far enough away from the pad that it doesn't cause pad damage," Musk said. "I would consider even that a win to be honest. Yeah … a major pucker factor really is the only way to describe it."
Musk mentioned several specific reasons why the Falcon Heavy's maiden flight may not go perfectly. One is the need for all 27 orbit-class first-stage engines to light at the right time. Another is the stress that the first stage's central "core" will experience during liftoff; the loads on the rocket, from aerodynamic forces to vibration and acoustic issues, will be quite high, he said.
The Falcon Heavy will be a great vehicle, Musk said, but he added that there may be some kinks to work out, especially given how challenging the rocket's development has been.
"It just ended up being really way, way more difficult than we originally thought," Musk said. "We were pretty naive about that."
Test firing
SpaceX's Falcon Heavy successfully gunned up its 27 main engines during a test fire on Jan. 24, though it was held down tightly on the launchpad. Does that 12-second test firing signal a potential successful flight?
"Not really," said Jim Cantrell, CEO of Vector, a rocket developer in Tucson, Arizona, told Space.com. "It means that they can ignite all 27 engines at the same time. Liftoff will test the structural and flight dynamics of this new configuration and the guidance, navigation and control system that guides it. A lot can still go wrong as this is a massive undertaking."
Despite all that could go wrong, however, Burt Rutan, legendary aerospace engineer and designer of the private suborbital craft SpaceShipOne (which won the Ansari X Prize in 2004), saluted Musk and his Falcon Heavy program.
Rutan told Space.com that he thinks Musk's decision to put his car on an outward-bound trajectory was a great idea.
Elon’s maiden trek of Falcon Heavy is "somewhere along the guts and chutzpah that we did for Apollo 8 — the first time you put people on a Saturn V and shoot for the moon," Rutan said. "Has anybody made that courageous of a flight plan since?

There were no alien invasions or tales of abduction, yet a UFO sighting by a group of Pembrokeshire school children remains one of the most famous cases in Wales.
It was 40 years ago when a class of pupils at Broad Haven Primary School said they spotted a UFO in a field near their playground.
It was one of a wave of sightings in the area in 1977 - dubbed the Dyfed Triangle.
David Davies was 10 at the time and heard reports of pupils seeing flying saucers throughout the day.
"I was a natural born sceptic so after the bell rang I decided to go to the area that the children said they had seen it," he told BBC Wales.
He described seeing a silver "cigar-shaped" craft with a "dome covering the middle third".
"My sighting only lasted a couple of seconds. It popped up and then went back behind a tree."
Mr Davies said he did not feel afraid, "more in awe and wonderment", although he admitted he had "a strange desire to run away".

None of the teachers believed the children and so the headmaster separated them and got them to draw what they saw. There were slight variations, but what they drew was basically the same.
Mr Davies described the days that followed as a "wild rollercoaster."
"It went crazy with the media and it was difficult to settle down and actually think about what we had seen."
Two months later, Rosa Granville, who ran the Haven Fort Hotel in nearby Little Haven, described seeing an object which looked like an "upside-down saucer" and two "faceless humanoid" creatures with pointed heads.
She said so much heat came off it, her "face felt burned".
"There was light coming from it and flames of all colours. Then [the creatures] came out of these flames, that's what I don't understand," she said.
When she visited the field she said there was "two inches of burned grounds".
Ms Granville said the incident left her "agitated and disturbed".

A number of theories have been put forward to explain the sightings.
Then-MP for Pembroke, Nicholas Edwards contacted the Ministry of Defence after being "inundated" with UFO sightings.
Flt Lt Cowan, an officer from RAF Brawdy, visited Ms Granville's hotel and examined the site, but could find no evidence of a landing.
He joked: "Should a UFO arrive at RAF Brawdy we will charge normal landing fees."
In his report, he mentioned the possibility that a "local prankster was at work" and the description of aliens "fitted exactly the type of protection suit that would have been issued in the event of a fire at one of the local oil refineries".
This fits in with the account of businessman Glyn Edwards, who in 1996 revealed he wandered around the area in a silver suit in 1977 as a prank.

The National Archives also released files which examined UFO sightings across Wales, and the officials who investigated the Broad Haven sightings suspected pranksters.
"There is general speculation in the neighbourhood that a practical joker may be at work," wrote staff at S4 - the government department that investigated sightings at the time.
It was also thought school children could have confused a sewage tank as a UFO, although many were from farming backgrounds and would have been familiar with the machinery.
More recently, a former US Navy sailor said the figure in a silver suit was in fact a member of US military personnel wearing their standard fireproof uniform and the UFOs were new Harrier jets flying over.

To mark 40 years since the sightings, a conference is being held in Broad Haven on Saturday, organised by Swansea UFO Network.
Organiser Emyln Williams said the case started "worldwide interest".
Asked if he thought it was genuine, he said: "One child can lie, but can a whole class?
"Over 40 years at least one of them might have come forward to say they made it up - but they haven't."
Mr Williams said there were several sightings the day the children claimed to have seen a UFO, including at Hubberston School in Milford Haven.
"That year there was so much happening. It is what we know as a UFO flap," he said.

Eyewitness Mr Davies, who lives in Shropshire, will be a guest speaker.
He said he had always been open-minded to the theories which attempted to explain the sightings and at no time had he "ever sensationalised his story".
"So many people are ridiculed for saying they have seen a UFO," he said, describing his secondary school life as a "misery".
"I was beaten senseless purely because of what happened to me. It would have been so much easier to take back my story."
He admits UFOs has been a subject that has gone on to "dominate his life".
"At one point I must have had the largest library of books in Wales on the subject."

Attending alongside Mr Davies is Neil Spring, who wrote a book based on the Broad Haven sightings.
"The moment I heard of this small village plagued by UFO sightings, I was inspired to understand what really happened," he said.
His research uncovered a secret investigation by the military police.
"Whilst the government was telling the public they had no records of any unusual activity in the area, privately, officials were so concerned about the UFO sightings in Broad Haven that they asked the military police to conduct a 'discreet' investigation," he said.
Mr Spring believes local pranksters were behind some of the sightings, but said "people emulate what's happening around them" and the pranks were inspired by events which had been "sincerely reported".
"My research showed that there were strange occurrences in Broad Haven long before the incident at the school and for a long times afterwards.
"So you can take the children out of the story and you'll still have the story."
Those were the shock claims made after video of the apparently unknown object passing the Epsilon 3 rocket launch was uploaded to YouTube by conspiracy theory channel UFO Today.
The rocket was sending a £255 million satellite - which will monitor the Earth's atmosphere - from Kyushu Island in Japan into orbit.
UFO Today speculated that a "mysterious craft" passed by the rocket as it flew at 25,000mph and it could mean that aliens are monitoring our activity in space.
Thousands watched the Japanese Space agency Jaxa launch the rocket at 6.06am local time on January 18.

The alleged UFO (ringed) could be nothing more than a plane, claim debunkers.
The launch went perfectly, but during the launch a strange mysterious craft was filmed. This UFO was flying at the same altitude as the rocket.

In a promotional blurb for the video the channel said: "Many will say this is an aeroplane, but the area had a no fly zone at the time of the rocket launch.

"It was moving along with the rocket as it started it's orbit around earth. What was this object?"
Sceptics have laughed this off and said it was nothing more than a plane.
The black triangle UFO is a global phenomenon, with hundreds of sightings each years across the globe, but most in the US.
Steve Barone, aUFO hunter based near the Nellis Air Force base in Las Vegas Valley, Nevada, uploads sightings to his YouTube channel UFOs in The USA and claims this footage is one of his best yet.
In the video, two apparently triangle-shaped objects appear to fly across the screen from right to left.
Mr Barone said in the video: "I set my night vision camera up to do a little sky fishing looking at the entrance of Red Rock Canyon.
"When I got the video inside and went through it slowly and was amazed towards the end of the video you see two triangle objects fly out of the canyon into the Las Vegas valley.
"If you look really close they look like little triangles and appear to have little half domes on top of them."
He said some people had suggested there was just one with a shadow beneath, but he claimed the top went made a separate manoeuvre going into a spin while the one below did not.

The UFO hunter added: "If you look at the snap shots you see the bottom one is clearly a triangle and the top one has a rounded dome on top.
"It is a really good example of what was flying out of that canyon.
"Vegas is unreal, I am still waiting for the mother of all UFOs as it is going to be really special. It has happened before but I just didn't catch it and I know it can happen again."
Many people claim the triangle UFOs are the legendary TR-3B craft - said to be a secret spy plane developed by the US military.
The TR-3B is alleged by conspiracy theorists to be a secret "black project" spy craft of the US Government that can be flown into space.
The allegations are that these crafts are created at top-secret military bases like Area 51 in Nevada, by reverse engineering alien technology.
Others claim they are actual UFOs flown by aliens visiting Earth.
Apart from witness accounts there is no proof the TR-3B exists.
Angela Patchell, who viewed Mr Baron's video, said: "This is amazing. I saw something similar a few weeks ago.
"It passed over in front of me at a super fast speed from right to left and disappeared. This was after viewing UFO orbs high in the night sky the night before."

In de jaren twintig ontdekte de Peruaanse archeoloog Julio Tello een aantal graftombes in Paracas, die gevuld waren met skeletten met langwerpige schedels die naar schatting 3000 jaar oud zijn.
In 2013 begonnen L.A. Marzulli, bioloog Brien Foerster en een aantal andere onderzoekers de schedels te bestuderen.
Uit het eerste onderzoek bleek dat de vreemde vorm niet alleen was veroorzaakt door schedelvervorming.
Ongelooflijk ingewikkeld
Begin deze maand maakte het team op het Elongated Skulls Symposium in Los Angeles de resultaten bekend van nieuw DNA-onderzoek.
“De resultaten waren ongelooflijk ingewikkeld,” zei Foerster. “Het zal enige tijd duren voordat we weten wat de resultaten precies betekenen.”
“We weten in ieder zeker dat de mensen waar de langwerpige schedels aan toebehoren niet 100 procent inheemse Amerikanen zijn,” voegde hij toe.
Mengeling
Het gaat volgens hem om een mengeling van verschillende volkeren. Als ze 100 procent inheemse Amerikanen zijn, moeten ze bloedgroep O hebben gehad en dat is niet het geval, aldus Foerster.
“We hebben hier waarschijnlijk te maken met een subsoort,” zei hij, toevoegende dat het DNA wijst in de richting van Oost-Europa en West-Azië, ergens tussen de Zwarte Zee en de Kaspische Zee.
Genetisch van aard
Hij wees erop dat ze een aantal verschillende haplogroepen aantroffen die op geen enkele manier zijn te rijmen met de geschiedenis van Peru.
De grootste langwerpige schedels zijn gevonden in Peru en de Kaukasus, dus hij denkt dat deze subsoort naar Zuid-Amerika is gemigreerd.
Hij benadrukte dat de vervormingen genetisch van aard zijn en dat deze mensen met de afwijkingen werden geboren.
Toen het Amerikaanse leger maatregelen nam om het overgewicht van personeel te bestrijden, had niemand gedacht dat hiermee ook gevoelige geheimen aan het licht zouden komen.
Door dit alles is er nu precies vast te stellen waar zich op Antarctica een geheime ondergrondse basis bevindt, alhoewel deze niet persé Amerikaans hoeft te zijn.
Men heeft er bij het Pentagon nooit bij stilgestaan dat door middel van dingen zoals zogenaamde Fitbit horloges exacte locaties van de gebruikers kunnen worden vastgesteld. Dit systeem houdt al je lichamelijke activiteiten bij en meet verschillende dingen zoals hoeveel je gelopen hebt. Het doet dit op basis van het GPS systeem zodat van iedere gebruiker de exacte locatie kan worden vastgesteld.
Het Amerikaanse leger vond dit een goed hulpmiddel bij het bestrijden van overgewicht onder hun personeel en waren zo enthousiast dat ze deze Fitbits volop hebben verspreid binnen het leger.
Via een organisatie die Strava heet is er nu een zogenaamde heatmap gemaakt van de aarde, waarop je precies kunt zien waar de Fitbit gebruikers zich bevinden. Het zijn natuurlijk niet alleen Amerikaanse militairen die met deze dingen rondlopen, maar overal ter wereld worden deze Fitbits gebruikt. Op de volgende kaart zie je het gebruik in Nederland en België. Hoe lichter de kaart, des te meer Fitbits zijn er actief.
Bij ons valt er weinig af te leiden uit het gebruik, behalve dat het in bepaalde gebieden meer voor komt dan in andere, maar wanneer je naar een totaal verlaten gebied kijkt in Syrië, net ten noorden van de stad Raqqa, dan begint het wel op te vallen.
Kortom, we weten nu van bovenstaande locatie dat het geen totaal verlaten gebied is, maar dat er één of meerdere personen aanwezig zijn die daar rondjes lopen.
Veel militaire complexen zijn op verzoek van overheden niet opgenomen in Google Maps en Apple Map. Een woordvoerder van de US Central Command heeft aan de Washington Post laten weten dat het leger aan het kijken is naar de implicaties die de kaart met zich meebrengt. De looproutes van de militairen kunnen nu de locaties van geheime basissen vrijgeven.
En dan komt er op de zogenaamde heatmap van Strava iets bijzonders tevoorschijn, ergens in een totaal verlaten gebied op Antarctica.
Ergens lopen daar één of meerdere mensen rond met een Fitibit.
Echter, op ongeveer 12 kilometer afstand ligt een landingsbaan die de Union Glacier Blue-Ice Runway heet. De rode markering geeft de landingsbaan aan en de groene de plek waar de bewegingen zijn waargenomen.
Dan blijft er eigenlijk maar één conclusie over en dat is dat er zich onder de bergen een basis bevindt. Het signaal is opgevangen, één of meerdere mensen hebben daar een bepaalde weg afgelegd en aangezien het zo goed als onmogelijk is dat dit aan de oppervlakte is geweest, kan het alleen ondergronds zijn geweest.
De vraag die dan overblijft is: Van wie is die basis? Van de Amerikanen waar veel militairen met een Fitbit rondlopen of toch van iemand anders?
FORWARD THINKING Toby Walsh cuts through the hype to give a critical assessment of how much we should welcome or worry about a future full of “thinking” machines.
Movies and other media are full of mixed messages about the risks and rewards of building machines with minds of their own. For every manipulative automaton like Ex Machina’s Ava (SN: 5/16/15, p. 26), there’s a helpful Star Wars droid. And while some tech titans such as Elon Musk warn of the threats artificial intelligence presents, others, including Mark Zuckerberg, dismiss the doomsayers.
AI researcher Toby Walsh’s Machines That Think is for anyone who has heard the hype and is seeking a critical assessment of what the technology can do — and what it might do in the future. Walsh’s conversational style is welcoming to nonexperts while his endnotes point readers to opportunities for deeper dives into specific aspects of AI.
Walsh begins with a history of AI, from Aristotle’s foundation of formal logic to modern facial-recognition systems. Excerpts from computer-composed poetry and tales of computers trouncing humans at strategy games (SN: 11/11/17, p. 13) are a testament to how far AI has come. But Walsh also highlights weaknesses, such as machine-learning algorithms’ reliance on so much data to master a single task.
This 30,000-foot view of AI research packs a lot of history, as well as philosophical and technical explanation. Walsh personalizes the account with stories of his own programming experiences, anecdotes about AI in daily life — like his daughter’s use of Siri — and his absolute, unapologetic love of puns.
Later in the book, Walsh speculates about technical hurdles that may curb further AI development and legal limits that society may want to impose. He also explores the societal impact that increasingly intelligent computers may have.
For instance, Walsh evaluates how likely various jobs are to be outsourced to AI. Some occupations, like journalist, will almost certainly be automated, he argues. Others, like oral surgeon, are probably safe. For future job security, Walsh recommends pursuing careers that require programming acumen, emotional intelligence or creativity.
AI also has the potential to revolutionize warfare. “Like Moore’s law, we are likely to see exponential growth in the capabilities of autonomous weapons,” Walsh writes. “I have named this ‘Schwarzenegger’s law’ to remind us of where it will end.” Walsh isn’t resigned to a Terminator-like future, though. If governments ban killer robots and arms developers use automation to enhance defensive equipment, he believes military AI could actually save many lives.
In fact, Walsh argues, all aspects of AI’s future impacts are in our hands. “Artificial intelligence can lead us down many different paths, some good and some bad,” he writes. “Society must choose which path to take.”

In a massive study that included 24 researchers and published in two scientific papers, experts found that our planet suffered the impact of a space object as early as 12,800 years ago when humans were already sedentary and were beginning to form the very first complex societies around the planet.
The study titled Extraordinary Biomass-Burning Episode and Impact Winter Triggered by the Younger Dryas Cosmic Impact ~12,800 Years Ago” analyzed geochemical and isotopic markers and found that massive fires would have been responsible, in part, for the disappearance of large mammals.
“The study includes measurements made at more than 170 different sites around the world,” said Adrian Melott, Professor Emeritus of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Kansas and one of the authors of the research.
According to Melott and his colleagues, the new data indicates that the disaster was unleashed when the Earth collided with fragments of a disintegrating comet that was approximately 100 kilometers in diameter, whose remains persist in our solar system to this day.
A chaotic time for early society
This impact would have caused fires so large that the resulting dust clogged the sky and prevented sunlight from entering.
The climate cooled rapidly, the plants died, the food sources were exhausted, and the glaciers moved forward again.
The oceanic currents moved, forming an almost glacial era that lasted a thousand years more.
Gobekli Tepe is considered one of the most mysterious places on the surface of the planet. Curiously, some authors believe that a similar catastrophic event was recorded at Gobekli Tepe by its builders.
“The hypothesis is that a massive comet fragmented and the pieces hit Earth, generating this disaster,” said Melott.
“A number of different chemical signatures – carbon dioxide, nitrate, ammonia, and others – seem to indicate that an astounding 10% of the earth’s surface, or about 10 million square kilometers, was consumed by fires.”
Furthermore, according to Melott, pollen analysis suggests that pine forests were probably burned to be replaced by poplars, which is a species that colonizes cleared areas.
In fact, the authors postulate that the cosmic impact could have triggered the episode of the Recent Dryas, the burning of biomass, the extinction of the late Pleistocene of larger species (of which we were blamed) and the cultural changes in humans and the decrease in population.
“The estimates imply that the impact would have depleted the ozone layer, causing increases in skin cancer and other negative health effects,” said Melott.
“The impact hypothesis remains a hypothesis, but this study provides a large amount of evidence, which we argue can only be explained by a very large cosmic impact.”
If confirmed the hypothesis of this study which seems to have been recorded by ancient cultures, would indicate that humans not only survived a cataclysmic event, but we took advantage of it and we could start to repopulate the planet.
What Graham Hancock said
Curiously, that’s exactly what world-renowned author Graham Hancock said a few times already.
According to Mr. Hancock,
an extremely advanced ancient civilization—that flourished during the Ice Age—was wiped out from the surface of the planet some 13,000 years ago due to a massive comet strike, and the ancients left us a warning of future events.
As explained in the book Magicians of the Gods: The Forgotten Wisdom of Earth’s Lost Civilization, Mr. Hancock argues; “Near the end of the last Ice Age 12,800 years ago, a giant comet that had entered the solar system from deep space thousands of years earlier, broke into multiple fragments. Some of these struck the Earth causing a global cataclysm on a scale unseen since the extinction of the dinosaurs. At least eight of the fragments hit the North American ice cap, while further fragments hit the northern European ice cap.”

ALIENS have repeatedly switched off nuclear warheads in Russia and the United States, in a bid to stop world war three breaking out, an expert has claimed.
Steve Bassett, founder of the Paradigm Research Group (PRG), is one of the most senior UFO campaigners based in the US, and is the only registered lobbyist in the US on the "aliendisclosure" subject.
Mr Bassett claims global governments are engaging with extraterrestrials on Earth and keeping it top secret from the public.
He believes there is more chance of Russian President Vladimir Putin speaking out than Donald Trump.
Mr Bassett spoke to Natalia Pryguina for Russian TV programme Most Shocking Hypotheses on Ren TV, one of the most watched networks in Russia with a viewer base of 120 million.
He has now released segments of the interview on the PRG website.
Mr Bassett said there was a wealth of testimony from witnesses about UFOs seen hovering over nuclear facilities in both the US and Russia.
And he revealed his thoughts on the main reasons "aliens are here."

He said: "Number one, nuclear weapons tampering. There is evidence all the way back to the sixties, but the media would not deal with it.

"When a SAT-based officer or personnel try to turn them back on, they run through three sequences and as soon as they turn them back on, they are turned off again and they cant turn them back on until the craft leaves.
"This has been happening in the US, we have got scores of witnesses capable of testifying, SAT-based officers with top-security clearance."
He then detailed a more disturbing event said to have happened in Russia.
Mr Bassett said: "There was one event where there is some evidence, I am not saying it has been proved and that is an event of a different kind. We believe it happened in Russia.
"It was not a case of turning the missiles off, what happened, is, I understand the Russian nuclear facility, usually a series of missiles within a site, all of a sudden the launch sequence began within that facility and it shouldn't have happened.
"The people that worked there didn't initiate that."
He said a call to Moscow was met with a denial.
Mr Bassett said: "I have heard from separate different directions, but if it is true, at the very last minute, when as far as the people in the silo were concerned 'this is over' and apparently there were sightings over the site."
He speculated why aliens would get involved. Mr Bassett said: "What was the message there?
"'Why do you have these weapons - you want to engage in the galaxy if there is something out there do you think other civilisations, who already have interstellar travel, would let you bring these weapons into space - that is not going to happen - if you use them on each other you are done'."
Mr Bassett is not alone in his belief about aliens tampering with nuclear missiles on Earth.
Robert Hastings published the book UFOs and Nukes: Extraordinary Encounters at Nuclear Weapons Sites in 2008.
A theory emerged in 2017 that claimed nuclear weapons were stored at RAF Bentwaters during the December 1980 Rendlesham incident in Suffolk, in the UK, and that is why the site was allegedly visited by aliens.
Many alien conspiracy theorists claim that extra terrestrials are highly advanced races compared to humans.
However, sceptics say there is no scientific evidence to back up any of these ideological theories, or that any aliens have ever visited Earth.
