Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

1. The Best Sci-Fi Martians Ever
This month, NASA released news that its Discovery Rover had discovered organic matter on Mars.
While that's not necessarily proof of life on Mars, it's more evidence that such a thing is or could have been possible.
With that in mind, we're paying tribute to fiction's most iconic denizens of the red planet.
2. The Martians of War of the Worlds
H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds is perhaps the prototypical Martian invasion story. And Orson Welles' later radio broadcast adaptation of the classic story is the stuff of legend, having inspired real panic among folks who missed that the broadcast was fiction and not news of an actual invasion by Martians.
Welles' visual idea of the Martian's ships with their round bodies and spindly, spider-like legs has also influenced the portrayal of UFO's in popular culture for decades.
3. Dr. Manhattan
Doctor Manhattan may not be a native of Mars (like Mark Watney), but in Watchmen it's something of his home away from home, with key scenes taking place on Mars' surface.
Mars is also where Dr. Manhattan flees at the end of the story, after Ozymandias' cataclysmic plans come to fruition.
4. Uncle Martin
Ray Watson's comedic Uncle Martin may be an outdated reference to some (despite a reboot film in the 90s), but for the generations raised on black and white broadcasts and TV Land reruns, My Favorite Martian's eccentric Martian anthropologist was practically definitive.
And we'd be remiss not to mention the show's human co-star Bill Bixby, who went on to co-star with another green guy you might have heard of...
5. Amy Wong
There are a few humans who claim "Martian" status on our list (either by birth or arrival), but Futurama's Amy Wong is, well, the cutest. In fact, this Planet Express employee and daughter of Martian "Buggalo" ranchers had "cuteness reduction surgery" to make her less intimidating.
Amy's more than just unearthly cute though – over the course of Futurama's seven seasons, Amy earned her Ph.D in Applied Physics from Mars University.
6. Mark Watney
Matt Damon's character Mark Watney from Ridley Scott's 2014 film The Martian (and the original Andy Weir prose novel) isn't a native Martian... but as Watney pointed out he did colonize the planet, which is worth something. And hey, if Weir and Scott want to identify him as a Martian as the film's title indicates, who the hell are we to argue.
Bonus points go to Damon/Watney for being a Martian AND a space pirate AND doing an Iron Man impression (and following Doctor Manhattan's lead as the loneliest guy on Mars).
7. Dejah Thoris
Edgar Rice Burroughs' Dejah Thoris is perhaps the most iconic actual Martian from the author's John Carter of Mars stories – though her beautiful, human-like appearance belies her alien nature.
The green, four-armed Barsoom, the enemies of Dejah Thoris and John Carter, are much more in line with what later sci-fi Martians would look like with four arms, green skin, and monstrous forms.

The chattering, blood-curdling Martians of Topps' Mars Attacks! trading cards (and comic books and movies and so on) are some of the most monstrous residents of the red planet to make our list, but they're also some of the most instantly recognizable.
And hey, if you ever find yourself face to face with some of these little green men, just call up Slim Whitman's "Indian Love Call" on Spotify and they'll all be toast.
9. Martian Manhunter
There are surprisingly few Martian superheroes in comic books – probably because when J'Onn J'Onzz arrived on Earth in 1955, the so-called Martian Manhunter cast a definitive shadow over the idea of a caped crimefighter from the red planet.
That's not to say J'Onn was the first alien superhero (Superman himself takes that honor) but his Martian origins gave rise to a whole wing of the DC Universe including characters like the villainous Hyperclan, and his heroic protege M'Gann M'Orzz, a.k.a. Miss Martian.
10. Marvin the Martian
If you ask just about anyone to name a Martian, they'll bring up Looney Tunes' megalomaniacal Marvin, the pint-sized, helmeted alien conqueror with a special hatred for Bugs Bunny.
Marvin's even made it into comic books recently, meeting the Martian Manhunter in a crossover one-shot from DC Comics.
For a few weeks in July and August, Mars will be at its closest point to Earth since 2003 and is expected to outshine Venus and Jupiter in the night sky. Not only will Mars illuminate for the casual stargazer, but close proximity to Earth will allow anyone with a telescope to get a more detailed look at the red planet’s unique features.
In 2003, Mars came within 34.9 million miles of Earth, setting a new record that had not been approached in 60,000 years. This summer will be the first time Mars and Earth rekindle that bond, slated to move within 35.8 million miles of each other on July 31, according to The Weather Channel.

Mars opposition, whereby the Earth passes directly between Red Planet, will occur July 27, and happens roughly every 26 months, according to NASA. This year, while the Earth cozies up between Mars and the sun, the red planet will also reach its closest point to the sun in its own orbit. This up-close and personal lineup is a phenomenon known as perihelion, and it’s not every day that opposition takes places within the same weeks as a perihelion. This is known as a perihelic opposition and it only occurs every 15 or 17 years.
Of course, some perihelic oppositions bring us closer to Mars than others. The orbits of Earth and Mars don’t lie on quite the same plane, and gravitational tugging from Jupiter tends to influence Mars’ orbit, meaning we won’t get as close of a reunion with Mars as we saw in 2003, but that record is expected to stand until August 28, 2287.
Mars will be its brightest to the human eye on July 31. The red planet will rise on July 30 at 8:25 p.m. Eastern, showing up Venus and the stars until it sets at 5:18 a.m. Eastern the next morning. The planet will be shining brightly throughout August.
While this celestial happening may not beat the 2003 record, witnessing the perihelic opposition does come with bragging rights. It will be the last time stargazers will see Mars this big and bright for years, as the next time Mars and Earth get this close won’t be until September 15, 2035.

Après réflexion, le conducteur se rend bien compte qu’il ne s’agit pas d’un avion.
« Il était exactement 0h50, ajoute-t-il. Je n’ai pas pu m’arrêter pour prendre une photo car j’étais sur l’autoroute et de toute manière, je ne l’ai vue que quelques secondes… »

Un témoin
À quelques dizaines de kilomètres de l’A16 sortie Saint-Pierre, à Sin-le-Noble, près de Douai, un homme a vu exactement la même chose dans le ciel.
« J’étais chez moi, je suis sorti pour fermer le volet et là je tombe dessus ! Je l’ai vue à l’est, et sa direction était du sud vers le nord, explique-t-il. Je l’ai vue environ quatre secondes. Je voyais bien la boule de feu avec sa traînée puis je l’ai perdue devant la maison d’en face ! J’ai appelé mon père à 0h52 pour savoir s’il avait vu quelque chose et il m’a dit non ! J’ai passé la soirée sur le net pour savoir si je n’étais pas le seul. »
Philippe Sénicourt, membre du club d’astronomie dunkerquois et animateur scientifique au Palais de l’univers et des sciences à Dunkerque, confirme qu’aucun phénomène de météorite n’a été enregistré par les appareils de détection basés au PLUS.
« Par définition, une météorite est un fragment qui s’écrase sur la Terre, note le spécialiste. Nous enregistrons une à deux météorites par an sur la terre. »

Mais les internautes qui nous ont rapporté ces faits n’ont pas rêvé pour autant.
« Il pourrait s’agir d’un bolide, une grosse étoile filante que l’on peut observer dans le ciel pendant quelques secondes. »
Le phénomène est visible « à plusieurs centaines de kilomètres », ce qui peut expliquer que le phénomène ait pu être visible à la fois à Calais et à Douai, et sûrement ailleurs dans la région.
En témoignent ces deux habitants de Saint-Martin-au-Laërt :
« C’était comme une étoile filante mais en feu. On s’est dit que c’était une étoile filante, on a essayé de la prendre en photo mais comme on conduisait, on n’a pas réussi. C’était comme une étoile en feu qu’on pouvait suivre. »
D’après les premiers éléments recueillis, l’objet en question serait donc un bolide.
« Nous en recensons plus d’une dizaine par an », ajoute Philippe Sénicourt. Et au vu de ces que les quelques témoins nous ont rapporté, on peut même parler de super bolide.
Des traînées jaunes aperçues sur la côte
Un premier phénomène avait également été évoqué par des internautes mardi soir.
« Vers 22 h, j’ai aperçu plusieurs traînées jaunes dans le ciel sur la plage de Wissant, confie l’un d’eux. Je les ai vues pendant quelques minutes. »
Même description pour l’un de nos internautes sur notre page Facebook :
« Nous étions à la plage, on a vu une traînée de feu qui s’est éteinte puis rallumée. Ce n’était pas un avion puisque la traînée avait une forme d’ellipse.»
Pour Philippe Sénicourt, une simple description comme celle-ci est difficile à interpréter, on peut le comprendre.
« C’était peut-être un avion qui reflétait la lumière du soleil. »
Avec l’arrivée des beaux jours, de plus en plus de phénomènes de ce genre seront observés par les simples quidams qui n’auront bien souvent que leur imagination pour tenter de connaître la signification de ce qu’ils viennent de voir. C’est un peu ça aussi les joies de l’astronomie.

Aevum's New Rocket-Drone Airplane Duo Could Launch Satellites Every 3 Hours

A space launch every 3 hours may soon be possible using rockets carried on a fully autonomous unmanned airplane, a new startup company suggests.
Alabama-based startup Aevum aims to per mission, using an air-launch system called Ravn.
"Ravn is designed to launch every 180 minutes," Jay Skylus, Aevum's CEO and chief launch architect, told Space.com. "Other launch vehicles fly only a handful of times a year with an average of 18 months of lead time." [Rocket Launches: The Latest Liftoffs, Photos & Videos]
"The typical turn time, from landing to takeoff, for a commercial aircraft can range from 30 to 80 minutes," said Skylus, an aerospace engineer who worked at NASA and Boeing. "Ravn operates just like a commercial aircraft would."
Ravn could launch satellites as frequently as once every 3 hours, Aevum representatives say.

Aevum is focused on launching multitudes of tiny satellites into space. Such constellations of satellites could enable advances such as "wireless internet everywhere," Skylus said.
The key to Ravn's planned launch rate is its unmanned nature, which "simplif[ies] ground operations considerably," Skylus said. "Ravn takes off and lands horizontally on any standard runway. Ravn is engineered to be autonomous from the moment it leaves the hangar from taxi, takeoff, launch, landing and taxi return to the hangar."
As such, Ravn may need a ground crew of as few as six people, Skylus said. "Compared to the ground- crew needs of other launch systems, Ravn requires at least an order of magnitude less ground-crew personnel," he said.
Aevum isn't the first company to develop an air-launch system. Northrop Grumman's Pegasus rocket has lofted dozens of satellites, and Stratolaunch Systems and Virgin Orbit are both working on rocket-carrier plane duos of their own. But these other systems all employ piloted aircraft.
The first stage of Ravn consists of a reusable, fully autonomous unmanned aircraft system designed for atmospheric flight. "The overall aerodynamic design of the vehicle has been optimized for the rocket separation," Skylus said. "The maximum speed of the Ravn first stage is Mach 2.85 [2,186 mph, or 3,519 km/h]."
This aircraft carries an expendable two-stage rocket engineered for spaceflight. The first stage of this rocket uses a proprietary fuel approved by the U.S. Department of Transportation, while the second stage relies on liquid oxygen. "The rocket engines have already been hot-fire demonstrated," Skylus said.
Skylus was inspired to ramp up the rate of satellite launches when he came across a story of U.S. soldiers killed in action in Afghanistan in 2005.
"With my own brother serving in the U.S. Army and away from home during that time, the news felt personal to me," Skylus said. "Upon research, I gained insight that communication failure was partly responsible for the losses we suffered in Afghanistan. I recall being furious that, while I could instant-message readily, people who were fighting to protect our country struggled with communication challenges."
"Determined to figure out exactly why, I dug into communication technologies and found out that, in locations where geography is the limiting factor, the communication technologies were not necessarily faulty. We just needed better satellite-revisit times and positioning — more satellites," Skylus said. "However, the cost of deploying those satellite assets was stifling progress."
In flight simulations, "Minnie, Aevum's autonomous flight software, has already completed nearly 640 flights," Skylus said. This work included the successful simulated launch "of a 30-satellite constellation in less than 3 hours," he added.
Aevum has designed, built and tested both its aerodynamic components and a prototype unmanned aircraft system. "Aevum's currently building a proto-flight Ravn vehicle and aims to complete the ground qualification of the entire proto-flight Ravn vehicle this year," Skylus said.
Aevum's customers can use the company's web app or call or email to deliver their cargo. In this sense, Aevum wants to be "the UPS or FedEx of space," Skylus said. "We take care of all the logistics and offer mission design at no cost to you, and you can book launches and track your satellite through our app."
Aevum is working toward beginning flight testing in 2019. If the entire flight test campaign goes according to plan, Aevum has three launches planned for the fourth quarter of 2019, Skylus said. "We're always seeking to connect with more customers — there's still some capacity on these three launches," he said.
"Ravn is unlike any other launch system known today," Skylus said. "Aevum's focused on providing a delivery service that will directly enable the solutions that address global challenges that cause pain every day, which include communication and connectivity."
Skylus described Aevum's work on June 2 at the Dawn of Private Space Science symposium in New York.

NARCAP contains pilot UAP sighting reports
NARCAP were dedicated to provide US pilots and aviation professionals a place to report observations and aviation safety related incidents involving the UAP (unidentified aerial phenomena). The pilot UAP sighting reports was carefully analyzed by NARCAP´s science chief Dr. Richard Haines and research associates around the world.
They have a lot of in-depth articles and technical analyzes of pilot UAP sightings. Not only from U.S. pilots but pilots from all over the world. Besides the technical reports, there were a section with international reports about the UAP related to air safety. Also a section with a large resource of documents from associated research could be found on the site.
NARCAP Chief Scientist Dr. Richard Haines
Apparently, Mr. Haines announced his retirement as Chief Scientist for NARCAP as of January 1, 2017 (reddit). And who could take over NARCAP as chief scientist seem to be unresolved. See the video below with Dr. Richard Haines.
I recently found the NARCAP site in my search after world-wide disclosure information on UFO´s and could see it offered an important piece of information. It would be quite a loss in ufology if NARCAP disappears forever with Dr. Richard Haines. But Mr. Haines reach over 80 years old now, so he has rightfully earned his retirement.
NARCAP.ORG WHOIS information
I attempted to contact the owner of the domain name NARCAP.ORG on June 13th 2018 but today on June 17th 2018 I still got no response. On WHOIS you can read that the domain expiry date is on September 26th 2018, so the site is not down because of an expired domain name. It seem to have been taken down intentionally by owner or hosting company.
I also contacted them on their Facebook page, where they actually talks about the need of money to run their website, which they have done for free out of own pockets since it started late 2000. They are also on Twitter under the name narcap1

What if we actually do inhabit a Universe where life, at least complex life is unbelievably rare. So rare that in the immense dark fathoms of deep time, with near infinite real estate, intelligent life arose exactly once. Us. There is no pantheon of intergalactic minds. “We’re first” is one of the three classes of answers to the Fermi Paradox, the other two being “we’re rare” and “we’re fucked.”
If Wakanda can stay hidden, could a past civilization have escaped discovery?
Few scientists I’ve spoken to take “we’re first” answers seriously. It seems statistically unlikely; the Galaxy is filled with planets very much like ours orbiting stars very much like ours, and this planet is actually about two billion years younger than average in our galaxy, giving plenty of other places a considerable head start on developing life.
I tend to agree with that understanding but what if? What if it is not true.
What if we are the first? The first (and so oldest) aliens, the first in the time stream who will time travel or the first in the universe who will discover interstellar travel. This would explain why there have not been visitors from the future because we are the very first to invent the time machine and do that. I love author Larry Niven’s thoughts on this: If time travel is possible, the universe will keep being changed (by time-travellers) until a state is reached where time travel is never invented. That universe will not change. And we’re living in it.
It would also explain why we haven’t seen aliens, maybe it’s because WE are the first “aliens” to travel interstellar and colonize the galaxy, only to discover other species who are just a couple million or a couple of thousand years behind us.
I think people (scientists are just people who know science) tend to dismiss the “we’re first” position too easily because it seems born out of hubris, wishful thinking, dreams of exceptionalism, or religious nonsense.

I can see a more plausible scenario, goes like this:
Resources needed to sustain a growing population are always limited to the planet the species is on. Space exploration is great, but it will not produce the additional water, air, carbon dioxide or space needed to grow.
Technology consumes resources, as does population growth.
Societies like ours that are dedicated to growth and consumption eventually deplete their resources and vanish. That kind of conscious, then, might well be deemed an aberration, cosmically speaking.
That tendency is clearly due to a particular kind of “consciousness” that humans have evolved. But rather than being an unequivocally good thing, that kind of consciousness may ultimately be self-defeating.
Societies that thrive are those that learn to live in a mildly-adjusted “harmony” with nature–or homeostasis, really–where they are not taking more from the environment than they are giving back.
A population that is living in that manner (whether consciously, as we know of consciousness), or in a more automatic way, like other species on this planet) do not (or unable to) do much in the way of space exploration or technology development–and in any case they are liable to be limited to a relatively small area, given the size of the universe.
So there are likely to be a relatively large number of planets containing life that have never ventured out looking for others.
Of those that have ventured out, their “visitation possibilities” are extremely limited.
Any such visitation would probably be limited to say, a probe containing automated-interaction systems of some kind. The best design would probably limit the probe’s life to 1,000 years, at most. (Even were it totally self-sustaining, jungle overgrowth, earthquakes, and other natural disasters would inevitably overtake it, in time.) Or it might touch down, stay a few years, and then move on. Either way, any such contact would be fleeting and ephemeral, recorded only in myth and legend.
Any records of such contact would be irretrievably lost by a species such as ours, with the kind of consciousness that goes around burning each other’s libraries on the theory that if what they say is in our religious texts, they’re redundant, and if not, they’re heretical.
But let’s consider the alternatives. If intelligence is common in the Universe, we would have seen signs. Even with interstellar distances what they are, some narcissistic and evangelical civilization would have sent, at the very least, unmanned probes to other stars to bring knowledge of their existence and/or spread their knowledge and principles. There’s no reasonable counter-argument; even if most civilizations destroy themselves before they reach that stage, it is hugely unlikely that all would. Even if most civilizations prefer navel-gazing, it is hugely unlikely that all would.
So intelligence is not common (the only other possibility is that we are under some sort of pointless quarantine). It is really not hard to believe this rarity. It took more than a billion years since life evolved for intelligence to arise. Our Galaxy has roughly 100,000,000,000 stars. If only 1 in 1,000 has planets with conditions to make life possible, and life only starts in 1 out of 1,000 potential incubators, and intelligence only arises in 1 out of 1,000 cases where life starts, well, that makes 100 intelligent civilizations arising in the Galaxy at some point. Say the propensity to self-destruct or navel-gaze accounts for 95% of them (not that unlikely)–now it’s not that hard to begin that of the remaining handful we may be either the first or far enough away for expanding probes of the others to not have reached us.
What about the other 100,000,000,000 galaxies? Here, distances are so immense that almost certainly nobody would attempt to travel or communicate. We can’t know if we’re first. We know we’re rare. So if we self-destruct, it will be a real pity…

The latest and most interesting thing that has been discovered at the Bermuda triangle are two beautiful and mesmerizing pyramids made out of glass. Also, there was a great technology, a great mystery for modern science revealed underneath the ocean of the triangle.

Today the truth about the existence and the importance of these pyramids is not yet proven to be wrong or right because the Us Navy tries to hide it all away from the eyes of the public. According to him, he was an employee of the Mars Defense Force, owned and run by the Mars Colony Corporation.
Whether these people really experience something beyond our fantasy is yet to be discovered.

The commander of Apollo 11, in a way, confessed that they have seen something weird. However, he dodged to give a proper answer.
The truth is that almost every astronaut on the mission was part of the Military Air Forces and they were aware of the Ministry of Defence’s rule:
“The military members spreading any UFO information are subjected to The Espionage Act”.

“As we approached this glow it turned to a monstrous circle of white lights on the water. Then we saw a yellow halo, small, much smaller than whatever it was launched from, about fifteen miles away.”
In only a matter of seconds, the gleaming UFO equaled their altitude. Thus, Bethune had to free the autopilot and draw the plane’s nose down in order to dodge a crash. But soon, the object shifted going towards them.

At the same time, certain plane instruments started failing due to the powerful electromagnetic disruptions the UFO generated.
The plane had 31 passengers, a psychiatrist and of course, the crew aboard. All of them watched as the event was unrolling.
As soon as the plane landed, the witnesses were questioned and pressured on signing a non-disclosure form. Their testimonies, however, were upheld by radar data from an Air Force station in Goose Bay, Labrador.

There has been a mutiny in UFOlogy, in regards to the Roswell Incident.
Just picture a bunch of nerds beating the hell out of each other with their pocket protectors and fake lightsabers. Not really, but something even more unexpected has occurred around the black mailbox. One of the grand masters of the “Roswell Incident” is Dr Kevin Randle. He has done the unforgivable. He publicly stated that he believes that the Roswell Incident is better explained by the prosaic then by proclaiming aliens.
“I asked Randle, if he no longer thinks that the Roswell incident was extraterrestrial, what does he think it was? He said he really doesn’t know. It wasn’t E.T., but it wasn’t a Mogul balloon, either. Randle then launched into a critique of skeptics being unskeptical because they insist that the debris found was from the once-secret Mogul spy balloon project, when the evidence supposedly proves that it was not. Thus skeptics are, he says, as illogical as the ET believers.”
Randle is not the first to regain his senses in all this Roswell stuff, UFO researcher Curt Collins posted the following information to Facebook:
“Roswell Incident” co-author William Moore bailed out in 1997… I wish to advise anyone who might be interested that I no longer am of the opinion that the extraterrestrial explanation is the best explanation for this event.”

I have always thought Roswell was a waste of time. It is a gigantic “Hail Mary” pass that stretches across the minds of the true believers. The odds that a civilization sent a spaceship to Earth and then to have it crash is quite extraordinary. Extraordinarily unlikely.
I commend Dr Kevin Randle for his “mea culpa”. He spent 30+ years researching the Roswell Incident. He authored books about it and spoke at innumerable conferences, podcasts, and radio programs. It takes a big person to admit when they were wrong. To change one’s mind in light of new evidence is a virtue, not an issue. Imagine spending your whole life dedicated to a cause and then one day openly admitting you were wrong. I have respected him for what he has accomplished in the past, now I respect him for the content of his character. In the sciences, these things happen more often than in other pursuits. It is part of the scientific method and one of its great strengths, self-correction.
I quote Gordon Bonnet, host of the blog called ‘Skeptophilia’:
“If the truth (my conclusions based ONLY on the evidence), turns out to be different than I thought it was, then my viewpoint on the subject MUST alter/change to reflect this, that is the skeptic’s code”.
This reminds me of much of the sceptical wisdom that I gained from Kevin Randle’s writing in some of his books.
I do agree that Kevin has, in effect, shot himself in one foot at least, and is now in a sort of suspended, neutral, position of being neither pro or con. This is quite a turnaround from his previous books which were all very much pro-ET. He may lose a few friends because of this, but that is a risk one takes in ufological debates. Karl Pflock did a partial turnaround with his two books, his second repudiating much of his first. Bill Moore seems to have recanted long ago. Is there anyone left (Stan Friedman or David Rudiak maybe?) who can revive this Roswell ET corpse, or is it time to finally cremate it?
Let’s now move along…
Can this please be the end of all this Roswell business. Let’s chalk it up to being an unknowable unknown. If there is agreement that Roswell doesn’t involve a crashed spacecraft or pickled aliens, does the incident warrant much further attention? This has gone from a Cosmic Watergate to 1940s balloon identification. If it was Mogul, we have misidentified sky trash. If it’s not Mogul, we have someone else’s misidentified trash. There’s not much to be gained by either side in winning this debate.

Geen ufo dus, maar een grote wolk die graag wil opstijgen. De lucht, die niet verder omhoog kan vanwege de warme luchtlaag, stroomt horizontaal en licht dalend weg. Doordat de lucht tijdens het dalen een beetje opwarmt, lost de wolk aan de randen op, met als resultaat deze spectaculaire pannenkoekvorm, die ook veel weg heeft van het ruimteschip uit de film ‘Independence Day’.

WETENSCHAP & PLANEETRuimvijftig jaar geleden cirkelden vijf onbemande satellieten rond de maan, die beelden met een extreem hoge resolutie maakten van het maanoppervlak. Toch waren de foto’s die het grote publiek in die tijd te zien kreeg korrelig en van een zeer lage resolutie.
De satellieten Lunar Orbiter I tot V, die in 1966 en 1967 gelanceerd werden, moesten gegevens verzamelen om de perfecte landingsplaats te vinden voor de Apollo-missies. De foto’s die dat opleverde, waren zo scherp dat ze vergroot konden worden tot 16 bij 12 meter.
Na gebruik werden de beelden achter slot en grendel bewaard, ver weg van het publiek. De reden? Als de foto’s wereldkundig gemaakt werden, zouden ze de superieure technologie verraden van de camera’s op de Amerikaanse spionagesatellieten, waarop de apparatuur van de maansatellieten gebaseerd was.

Haar team kreeg een leegstaand McDonalds-restaurant ter beschikking, dat voor de gelegenheid ‘McMoon’ werd gedoopt. Het doel was de tapes te digitaliseren voor ze onbruikbaar geworden waren of de technologie waarmee ze uitgelezen konden worden niet meer bestond.

De bestanden die dat opleverde waren gigantisch, zelfs naar huidige normen. De beste beelden zijn tot twee gigabyte groot en kunnen zonder kwaliteitsverlies uitvergroot worden tot een enorm aanplakbord. Toen de NASA-ingenieurs ze in de jaren 60 afdrukten, moesten ze de foto’s in een kerk ophangen omdat ze zo enorm waren.
Mozaïek
Het Lunar Orbiter Image Recovery Project (LOIRP) heeft in totaal tweeduizend beelden van 1.500 analoge tapes gerecupereerd. Naast de allereerste foto van een ‘aardopkomst’, de aarde die opkomt aan de horizon van de maan (zie boven), bevat de verzameling bijzonder gedetailleerde foto’s van Orbiter IV.
Die had als opdracht één groot beeld te schetsen van de volledige voorzijde van de maan. Tussen 11 en 25 mei 1967 nam de Orbiter een reeks foto’s die het hele gebied van de noord- tot de zuidpool en van de west- tot de oostzijde omvatten. Dat leverde een mozaïek op van 12 bij 13 meter.

De toenmalige ingenieurs legden het beeld als een plattegrond op de grond en alle onderzoekers – ook de astronauten – moesten hun schoenen uittrekken om het te verkennen. Zelfs op deze grootte waren de beelden zo goed dat de onderzoekers met vergrootglazen aan de slag konden.
Dit gigantische beeld werd gebruikt om de locaties te bepalen die Orbiter V in nog hogere resolutie ging fotograferen. De beelden van Orbiter V leidden uiteindelijk tot de definitieve locatie waar Apollo 11 zou landen.
Tijdens opgravingen in de buurt van het Oostenrijkse Salzburg is door archeologen een bizarre ontdekking gedaan.
Er is een object gevonden van minstens 800 jaar oud dat als twee druppels water lijkt op de tegenwoordige mobiele telefoon.

Een kleine drie jaar geleden deed onderstaand verhaal de ronde: Archeologen deden tijdens opgravingen een bijzondere ontdekking, want ze hadden een 800 jaar oud object gevonden dat veel overeenkomsten vertoonde met een tegenwoordige Nokia telefoon.
Wat toen alleen maar vragen opriep en wij ons afvroegen of het misschien een grap van die archeologen was, is nu opgelost en het blijkt dat er helemaal geen archeologen in beeld komen.
In 2012 maakten Karin en Max Weingärtner van het kunstbedrijf Art Replik van klei een mobiele telefoon vrij naar een model van een Ericsson, niet een Nokia zoals algemeen werd (en wordt) aangenomen vanwaar de naam Babylonokia, die zelfs de kunstenaars geadopteerd hebben. De bedoeling was ermee bekend te worden als makers van replica’s zoals blijkt uit een computermuis van steen eveneens voorzien met spijkerschrifttekens zoals ook de telefoon. Eén foto echter lekte uit of werd gelekt of kwam in de verkeerde handen terecht, maar toen waren we al in 2015 (deze bewerkte foto, die overal op het internet te vinden is, heb ik bovenaan opgenomen). Het schijnt dat Art Replik zelf met het verhaal is gekomen dat de telefoon was gevonden bij een opgraving in Fuschl am See in de provincie Salzburg in Oostenrijk en dat het zou stammen uit de 13e eeuw vóór Christus vanwege de erop aanwezige spijkerschrifttekens.
En hiermee hebben we het zoveelste Youtube nepfilmpje. Wel jammer, zou wel leuk geweest, maar de waarheid is iets minder spannend in dit geval.
Zij vonden daar iets dat verdacht veel lijkt op de tegenwoordige mobiele telefoon.
Het is een oude kleitablet die eruit ziet als een mobiele telefoon met in plaats van onze moderne tekens, een soort spijkerschrift. Hierdoor lijkt het alsof dit voorwerp oorspronkelijk uit Mesopotamië komt omdat daar het spijkerschrift voor kwam.
Het is niet bekend waar de archeologen in Oostenrijk precies naar op zoek waren, maar waarschijnlijk niet naar kleitabletten voorzien van spijkerschrift.
Toch dat is wat ze hebben gevonden en het leek op de mobiele telefoon waarmee ze waarschijnlijk de volgende foto’s hebben genomen.
Men heeft de kleitablet gedateerd op rond de 13e eeuw. Dat is een tijd waarbij het al duizenden jaren geleden was dat het Soemerische spijkerschrift was ontdekt.
Kleitabletten met daarop spijkerschrift zijn op zich niet ongewoon. Er zijn er in totaal ongeveer twee miljoen opgegraven. Deze schrijftaal was een groot mysterie tot in de 19e eeuw toen de code werd ontcijferd.
Desondanks is de kleitablet uit Oostenrijk bijzonder vanwege een aantal redenen.
Eén is dat het niet gevonden is in de streek waar je het zou verwachten; in Oostenrijk en niet in Iran of Irak.
Er is slechts ooit één keer eerder een object met spijkerschrift ontdekt buiten het bekende gebied en dat is Fuente Magna schaal.
Deze werd ontdekt in het moderne Bolivia. Deze schaal is een raadsel want voor zover bekend zijn de Soemeriërs nooit in Zuid Amerika geweest en dus is de vraag hoe die schaal daar terechtkwam.
De tweede reden waarom de Oostenrijkse vondst opzienbarend is, is natuurlijk omdat deze kleitablet als twee druppels water lijkt op een hedendaagse Nokia telefoon.
Je ziet de twaalf toetsen net zoals op de moderne telefoon, een display en spreek- en menuknoppen.
De overeenkomsten met een moderne telefoon lijken teveel om nog toeval te kunnen zijn.
Anderzijds is er uiteraard toch enige voorzichtigheid geboden omdat de vondst eigenlijk te mooi is om waar te zijn.
Daarom heb je mensen die het wel geloven en zij die zeggen dat het wel nep moet zijn omdat het niet kan.
Voor zover ons bekend staan op dit moment alle mogelijkheden open.
Is er misschien een tijdreiziger geweest zo’n 800 jaar die zijn telefoon ergens in Oostenrijk is verloren?
Is het toch een bizar toeval en is het gewoon een kleitablet welke toevalligerwijze op een moderne telefoon lijkt, met toevallig ook nog eens al de knoppen op de juiste plek?
Is het toch een grap van de archeologen zelf misschien?
Zijn er buitenaardsen geweest die deze telefoon op één of ander manier zijn kwijtgeraakt?

De afgelopen tijd zijn er veel berichten geweest over de alsmaar heftiger wordende aardveranderingen en er komt nu zoveel informatie los dat het nog nauwelijks bij te houden is.
Vooral ook informatie over onbekende planeten die nu op zoveel verschillende plaatsen en door zoveel verschillende mensen worden waargenomen dat er geen ontkennen meer aan is.
Wij worden regelmatig door lezers op de vingers getikt die willen weten waarom wij aan een bepaald onderwerp of een bepaalde bron geen of niet genoeg aandacht hebben besteed.
Waarom doen jullie dit niet en waarom gebruiken jullie die bron niet enzovoorts. Het antwoord is heel eenvoudig: Omdat wij met heel weinig mensen zijn en er maar 24 uur in een dag zitten, zijn wij niet in staat om altijd overal alles te bekijken.
Daarom zijn we ook blij met lezers die ons regelmatig aanvullende informatie toesturen die op zich dan ook weer interessant kunnen zijn voor andere lezers.
Een dergelijk bericht is het volgende en dat gaat over de planeet Nibiru en metgezellen. Het door ons ontvangen bericht (dank!) volgt hierna en wat daarin staat is uiteraard de mening van de lezer.

Jammer dat jullie nog steeds niet de veel betere en betrouwbaardere bronnen melden/gebruiken voor jullie berichtgeving over het Planet X system (let op: dus het gaat niet om 1 hemellichaam maar om bijv. aantoonbaar nu al DRIE hemellichamen die inwerken op Moeder Aarde, Jupiter schijnt er zo'n 69 te hebben, Venus ook een paar etc.).
Een voor iedereen duidelijke bron (want de beelden spreken voor zich) is op You Tube: Universal News Media. Deze (christelijke) vrouw laat bijna dagelijks sinds de laatste paar maanden beelden zien van FAA webcams uit Alaska. Heel goed is hierdoor te zien hoe snel die hemellichamen intussen dichterbij de Aarde zijn gekomen (bijv. eentje beslaat nu al meer dan de helft van zo'n webcam beeld!) maar ook wordt door haar werk duidelijk hoe hard er door de PTB aan wordt gewerkt om via zeer intensieve chemtrails de zichtbaarheid van die hemellichamen voor de massa te verbergen (wat steeds moeilijker wordt, omdat die hemellichamen zo dichtbij staan). Dan zijn de ongefundeerde opmerkingen van de lezer van jullie artikel van 15 juni daarmee ook weerlegd.
Maar als je echt wilt weten hoe de zaak met het Planet X systeem in elkaar steekt, en hoe dit bijv. aantoonbaar de oorzaak is van de vele aardveranderingen (tot aan het opwarmen van het zeewater, de overal open scheurende en brekende grond en de 'omgekeerde bliksems' aan toe) dan zouden jullie je lezers kunnen verwijzen naar de vele, bijna dagelijkse video's van Doctor Claudia Albers, van Planet X News' Scott C'ione. Zij legt als natuurkundige op uiterst heldere, ook voor leken, wijze uit hoe het allemaal in elkaar steekt.
Overigens: de Zeta's zijn een zeer onbetrouwbare bron, die hun eigen agenda hebben (met steun van bijv. de CIA), en die het bekende recept gebruiken van alle foute bronnen: kleine stukjes juiste info verpakken in het grote, onjuiste geheel, zodat mensen die te weinig ervan weten toch denken dat zij een betrouwbare bron zijn.
Op meerdere webcams, bijv. in Europa (maar begin 2017 heb ik wekenlang kunnen genieten van prachtige beelden in Mexico, naast de opgaande zon, van zeker twee hemellichamen), kun je hemellichamen van het Planet X system (om het zo maar te noemen) zien gedurende bepaalde tijden, bijv. van 15.00 uur - 15.45 uur. Dit dan alleen uiteraard als het onbewolkt is en er geen chemtrails getrokken worden (wat zelden het geval is). Soms 1 stuks, soms twee naast elkaar. Na een paar weken is er dan niets meer te zien, blijkbaar zijn die hemellichamen dan in een andere baan terecht gekomen, want je ziet ze na enige tijd als het ware oplossen in de achtergrond, steeds vager worden. Ik noem die websites niet omdat ik heb ervaren dat, als 'ze' blijkbaar kunnen zien dat je regelmatig op bepaalde tijden naar zo'n webcam kijkt, dan verwijderen 'ze' een paar uur beelden van die webcam of zelfs een hele dag of 1 keer zelfs een paar weken, zodat je niks meer kunt zien. Maar een beetje zoeken op dergelijke webcams levert al snel beelden op van die hemellichamen (meestal rond zonsondergang), omdat ze nu zo dicht bij de Aarde staan. Ook op Buienradar kun je regelmatig 'tweede zonnen' zien op ingestuurde foto's, die naïevelingen dan 'een tweede zon' of 'bijzon' noemen, zonder dat hier verder enig commentaar op komt!
Tenslotte: ook webcam beelden die 's nachts gemaakt zijn, geven spectaculaire beelden. Kort samengevat: het wordt gewoonweg niet meer donker 's nachts, ook niet in Zuid Europa (want in het noorden, zoals Alaska, blijft het nu natuurlijk licht 's nachts) en op bepaalde plaatsen aan de hemel is er nu doorlopend een duidelijke oranjeachtige gloed zichtbaar en is de omgeving bijna net zo helder te zien als overdag, geen zaklampen nodig!

A senior security official said that a report about a sighting of a round UFO hovering over the residence of the Prime Minister on Lok Kalyan Marg in New Delhi briefly fazed security personnel in the VIP area but put their suspicions to rest after the immediate search discovered nothing.
The Perimeter Security Officer gave an “OK Report” to Delhi Police after the search ended.
Dependra Pathak, a Delhi police spokesperson and special commissioner of police, affirmed the sighting but said the inside information of the event could not be disclosed. Pathak explained the sighting was reported but not alarming, and keeping security reasons in mind; more details cannot be shared.
An unnamed officer cited in the first instance said that Special Protection Group (SPG) sent information about the sighting to PM’s security unit of Delhi Police and the Delhi airport operations control centre, which received the report around 7:30 pm. The Delhi airport operations control centre comprises staff from the Delhi International Airport Ltd, Central Industrial Security Force, and the air force.
Immediately, the alert was communicated to the National Security Guards and the Intelligence Bureau. Also, put on high alert was the Delhi Air Traffic Control (ATC).
According to the officer cited above, the Delhi Police was also roped in, which assured a temporary extra deployment on the fringe of the PM’s residence, while other security agencies performed the drill to hunt down the suspected menace.
Such an incident taken place is not the first time. Around 10 pm, on September 17, 2017, the Delhi police security control room received a report about a drone-like object sighting around the Parliament area. However, an ACT’s radar, which cannot capture small flying objects in any case, caught no object.
In the same month, ATC was informed by the Delhi Police control room about the drone-like flying object sighting above a hospital in a southern suburb. However, authorities found nothing.
In November, draft regulations for the use of drones in the country were unveiled. The guidelines for the use of drones will be finalised when the Directorate General of Civil Aviation receives a response from the ministry of home affairs and the ministry of defence.
On Jun 14, 2018 a high speed horseshoe-like UFO has been filmed over France.
The footage shows the UFO speeding through the clouds where it looks like the UFO changes to a horsehoe-like shape but that can be an optical illusion.
Besides the possibility that the witness has caught a UFO, the object could be a drone or a fighter jet and the white shape is the air stream over the wings as it travels super sonic.
