Florida’s primary is coming up one week from today and the race for the GOP nomination in the 27th district has taken an interesting turn. There are a number of viable candidates in the field and the GOP has held the seat for decades. (The demographics have been shifting of late, however, so the race is seen as being more competitive.) The Miami Herald released their editorial endorsements for each party this weekend. They selected newcomer David Richardson for the Democrats, a seemingly safe choice. But on the Republican side, they picked Bettina Rodriguez Aguilera.

Rodriguez Aguilera also looks like a solid pick at first glance, having experience as a county legislator, a business consultant and a campaign trainer for female candidates. But the Herald was also quick to point out that she’s an “unusual” candidate in that she claims to not only believe in extraterrestrials but to have been abducted by them and taken aboard a spaceship as a child. The Editorial Board was most impressed by Rodriguez Aguilera, now a business consultant.

We realize that Rodriguez Aguilera is an unusual candidate. Last year, she told the Miami Herald — and several Spanish-language media outlets — that she believes in extra-terrestrials. She says when she was 7, she was taken aboard a spaceship and, throughout her life, she has communicated telepathically with the beings, which remind her of the concrete Christ in Brazil. There you have it.

“This is a non-issue,” she told the Board. We agree. Her bona fides as a former elected official, and now a businesswoman who spends time in other countries training women to run for office are solid.

Rodriguez Aguilera is a strong candidate in the race with plausible conservative ideas. The daughter of a Cuban political prisoner, Rodriguez Aguilera became an activist, volunteering with the Cuban American National Foundation. She said that she was coached by its former leader, Jorge Mas Canosa, who taught her that, “If you don’t have a solution to a problem, don’t raise your hand to complain.”

The Hill has some additional details of the candidate’s testimony regarding her experience with the aliens. From her description, they sound like the “Nordics” which show up in many abductees’ stories rather than the more common “Grays.”

“I went in. There were some round seats that were there, and some quartz rocks that controlled the ship — not like airplanes,” Rodriguez said in the interview. She said she was visited by three large, blonde beings.

In a separate interview with the Herald last year, she said she joins “the majority of Americans who believe that there must be intelligent life in the billions of planets and galaxies in the universe.”

In some ways, it seems nice that the Miami Herald would write off Rodriguez Aguilera’s extraterrestrial experiences as a non-issue and focus on her qualifications and experience. And it’s certainly true that a significant number of Americans believe in the possibility of technologically advanced alien beings visiting the Earth. (Those numbers may have gone up a bit after the government recently released some footage of our Navy pilots chasing what certainly looked like a UFO of some sort.) So if that’s what she believes, why hold it against her?

But at the same time I find myself suspicious of the motives of the editorial board at the Herald. Are they really putting their weight behind Rodriguez Aguilera in the primary because they think she’s the best candidate? Or do they want the GOP to nominate someone who can readily be painted as a kook so they can help flip that seat from red to blue?

Maybe I’m being a bit too suspicious here. Discussions of extraterrestrial phenomena have certainly become more mainstream of late. But I’d still put my money on the newspaper trying to pull a fast one.

Alien Rave? Michigan Man Spots Mystery UFO Putting on Light Show (VIDEO)

He later noted that "the object itself did not move" and that he was able to observe it for more than 20 minutes.

It's unclear what the mysterious object might have been.

Woodruff's sighting follows that of a North Carolina man who claimed to have spotted a "spacecraft" hovering above some trees near the Tar Heel State's Lake Norman last week. It was later revealed that the mysterious UFO was actually the Goodyear Blimp, which was in the area for NASCAR's Coca Cola 600 race.

Ancient Bottle Found On Mars Near @NASA Rover, Aug 2018, UFO Sighting News

Looking though the gigapan Mars photos, I found something that closely resembles an ancient clay bottle. Its very similar to this 2,000 year old Roman bottle which I include into the photo for you to compare. Again I am showing you a NASA Mars photo which has been altered by NASA into a False Color...which makes the surface look red and brown. But in reality, Mars surface looks more similar to a desert on Earth. NASA adds False Color to hide from the public the fact that Mars is more hospitable than they want you to know. This way, there is no other country racing to Mars and NASA will have no competition...which gives them a lot of time to get there.

Sure this is not a UFO, but it is one hell of a great space photo that the public has not seen before. Here is a photo that has never been seen in the news before. It's an astronaut chucking a satellite into space like a baseball. Sounds fun and probably worried NASA a lot since these mini satellites are also delicate and easily broke. Truly an amazing photo of a historic and important event in human history.

Fellow cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev (out of frame) joined Prokopyev during the spacewalk which also saw the installation of the Icarus animal-tracking experiment and the retrieval of a materials exposure experiment on the Russian segment of the International Space Station.

Two Giant UFO Hover Over Florida Beach Area, Aug 2018, 2 Videos, UFO Sighting News.

Now these UFOs have been seen before. I remember seeing similar UFOs in a Steven Greer (Renowned UFO researcher) video from 2015. This is a different time and different instance, however these are 100% the same UFOs at the same location. I will include the video during sunset at the bottom of this post. 

You can see there are no boats or ships in the area. There are no planes, jets or helicopters heard or in the area. No flares...there is no logical explanation for this sighting. However if you do research, you will find Steven Greers video from 2015 is the exact same location watching the same exact UFOs. 

Its obvious that 4-6 miles off the coast of Florida lays an underwater alien base where UFOs enter and leave at about 5-7pm, since both sightings took place around sunset. Amazing discovery and we need to explore this area with underwater recording technology so that we can find the exact location of this base.

Wild Claim – Face and Name Of An Alien Overlord Are Printed on Dollar Bills

A group of UFO hunters has claimed that the US dollar bills are hiding an alien overlord’s picture.

They discovered an image depicting the face of the space alien rulers of Planet Earth on the same side of the banknotes showing the infamous pyramid.

They believe that extraterrestrials have placed hidden messages in the currency. Adding contrast (shadow) to the original will turn it into the alien head, they explained.

Alien enthusiasts have been saying that extraterrestrial arts are made of many levels of understanding, making them too complicated for human’s primitive minds. They explain that humanity is a primitive species controlled by primitive decision making and instincts.

They think that the classic one dollar US bill is proof that extraterrestrial has infiltrated the US government and possibly has permanent control.

This sector of alien enthusiasts thinks that there are secret signs all over Earth that aliens have been controlling humankind’s destiny for their benefits.

They point out the visible letters MERICA at the top, saying that it may mean Me Rica, the name of a particular alien overlord.

UFOs are not extraterrestrial!

Modern secular researchers are getting closer to the truth

As a young man (non-believer), I loved watching science fictionand its portrayal of older, more advanced extraterrestrials (ETs) inhabiting other worlds and warping around the galaxy in their hyperdrive spaceships. However, when I became a Christian and biblical creationist, the strong evolutionary link to the belief in ETsbecame obvious. Then there was the claim that millions of people (including many Christians) have seen strange objects manifest in the sky, and others even claimed to have been abducted by aliens. Besides the fact that interstellar travel is impossible as the basic laws of physics that govern our universe would have to be violated, I already knew enough to know that these experiences could not all be dismissed as wishful thinking or psychological delusions. In short, something was really happening to these people. So, I undertook specialist research into what is called the ‘UFO phenomenon’ which led to my Amazon top 50 best-selling book Alien Intrusion: UFOs and the Evolution Connection and dozens of further articles on creation.com.

I got more than I bargained for. This was no innocuous field of study. It was necessary for me to attend UFO conferences where I witnessed, first-hand, people in trance-like states claiming to be ‘channelling’messages from aliens. I discovered deliberate and insidious attempts by dark spiritual forces to deceive mankind. Just like people who were converted to Christianity, these ‘experiencers’ were having life-changing experiences that altered their perception of the universe and their place in it. Of course, most non-Christians would say that I was constrained by my Christian worldview to interpret events in such a way. Many have said that Alien Intrusion: UFOs and the Evolution Connection is not really a ‘Christian’ book in the sense that it is a serious, close look at the UFO events that have shaped the mainstream school of thought about the UFO phenomenon. It revealed that there are massive inconsistencies in the idea that alleged wiser and benevolent ETs are coming from a ‘galaxy far, far away’, and are overseeing human evolution (a common theme).

The book was really a collation of secular research (using the hostile witness approach) to support the above conclusion. I.e. it wasn’t just little ‘Joe Christian’ here saying “believe me”. For example, paranormal and UFO researcher John Keel (deceased/cited later) who is probably best-known as the author of the book The Mothman Prophecies (later made into a movie starring Richard Gere) said:

“The UFOs do not seem to exist as tangible, manufactured objects. They do not conform to the natural laws of our environment. They seem to be nothing more than transmogrifications tailoring themselves to our abilities to understand. The thousands of contacts with the entities indicate that they are liars and put-on artists. The UFO manifestations seem to be, by and large, merely minor variations of the age-old demonological phenomenon.”¹ 

One of the most famous UFO researchers (and UFO authors) of all time is Ph.D. scientist Dr Jacques Vallée. It was the research of both Vallée and Dr J. Allen Hynek (former US Government researcher into UFOs) that inspired Hollywood director Steven Spielberg to make the classic movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Indeed, the lead UFO researcher in the movie was a Frenchman and was actually based upon Dr Vallée. As far back as 1977, he wrote:

“I propose the hypothesis that there is a control system for human consciousness … I am suggesting that what takes place through close encounters with UFOs is control of human beliefs, control of the relationship between our consciousness and physical reality, that this control has been in force throughout history and that it is of secondary importance that it should now assume the form of sightings of space visitors.”²

He also concluded that:

“ … human belief … is being controlled and conditioned, man’s concepts are being rearranged, and we may be headed toward a massive change of human attitudes toward paranormal abilities and extraterrestrial life.”³

This all sounds very much like 2 Thessalonians 2:9–12.

“The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

The modern UFOlogist

Vallée and even Keel showed that ETs were actually nothing of the sort and that it was some kind of ‘psychic’ force that would alter its appearance depending upon its audience’s ability to understand. In the past they were elves, fairies and even spirit beings manifesting themselves to third-world cultures. However, to the ‘true believer’ who really desires there to be benevolent aliens visiting us from different star systems, then perhaps they are interdimensional and not really from our own physical universe. Speculative ideas about the evolution of the cosmos such as string theory and multiverse have only accelerated this idea. In fact, Dr Vallée became disenchanted somewhat with modern UFOlogy believing that it had been hijacked by a religious group of New Agers and that serious research had suffered as a result. I agree.

In concluding that the phenomenon has psychic/spiritual aspects, both Dr Vallée and I might have a new, modern and surprising, ally to our beliefs about the deceptive nature of ETs. One of the most famous of the current crop of UFOlogist is Nick Redfern, a British born author and UFO investigator and conspiracy theorist who has been an advocate of the Disclosure Project for many years. He has written 13 books and numerous articles for various publications, and is a regular guest on The History Channel shows such as UFO Hunters. In an online article he recently wrote:

“ … my views on the nature of the UFO phenomenon have radically changed over the years. Back when I was in my twenties, I was of the opinion that UFOs (the truly unknown ones) were extraterrestrial … As I slid into my thirties, however, my thoughts slowly began to change (something which also happened for a few friends of mine in the field, too). And as many people will also know, my views—today—are far closer to those suggested by John Keel. Namely, that we’re dealing with something that co-exists with us and which masquerades as ET. It’s not enough for me to say ‘My views have changed.’ There are the reasons why my mind has altered since my early thirties (or thereabouts). And, there are several reasons, rather than just one.

“There’s the nature of the entities themselves: they practically overemphasize who, or what, they claim to be. We only have to take a careful look at such cases … to see that these ‘incidents’ are clearly stage-managed. It’s a game, a scenario that has <e…< em="">everything to do with trying to emphasize the ET meme … . Of course, they could easily avoid us! But, here’s the deal: they want to be seen. It’s not an accident. It’s carefully planned. And it’s designed to plant an image of ‘ET scientists’ in the mind(s) of the witness(es).”⁴

Parallel realities

His thoughts are almost so identical to my book that my heart races as I read his views. He is so close to the truth. I had always highlighted the inconsistency that our ‘alien creators’ couldn’t get their stories straight about where they were from. Once they were from planets in our own solar system, but we’ve visited those planets and shown them to be liars. Now they come from distant star systems where we cannot test their claims. In short, they can’t all be our creators and therefore they cannot all be correct! Redfern now sees it too.

“It’s much the same with the way in which—in both Contactee and Abductee cases—the aliens aren’t just keen to tell us which planet, star-system, or galaxy, they’re from. They’re more than a bit too keen to do so. Once it was Venus and Mars. Then, it was Zeta Reticuli. Or is it the Pleiades? The problem is not so much where they claim to come from. Rather, it’s their eager insistence on letting us know where they’re from—and time and again. There’s another issue, too. Over the decades, we have allegedly been visited by long-haired Space Brothers, stacked Space-Babes, black-eyed and large-headed dwarfs, bipedal reptiles, praying mantis-type creatures, and … well … the list goes on and on. But, they all seem perfectly comfortable with the Earth’s gravity, temperature, oxygen levels, etc. Doesn’t that strike you as a bit odd?”

 

The last point about being compatible with Earth’s atmosphere was another inconsistency that I’d highlighted. He continues to reinforce my own findings:

“They’re not at all unlike multiple accounts that one can find in numerous religions. In fact, they’re near-identical. Lives are radically changed, and people find themselves on new paths. Gods, angels, demons, the ‘little people,’ and—today—aliens: it’s all one and the same. A force that we presently don’t understand and which impacts upon us—and manifests before us—in a fashion that is relevant to the people of the particular era in question.

“But, I can say for sure that, every year, my views that we are dealing with something much stranger than ET grow stronger. The main reason: the phenomenon works too hardto come across as alien. As McKenna said: ‘We are part of a symbiotic relationship with something which disguises itself as an extra-terrestrial invasion so as not to alarm us.’”

A wise man once said:

“What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9 NIV).

Often creationists get accused of not coming up with original research. Here is one example where the secular researchers (if they choose to be honest with their findings as Mr Redfern has done) are coming to the same conclusions. It’s also a wonderful confirmation that once again using the Bible as our filter we can help dissect and discern one of the most puzzling mysteries of the modern era and show it for what it really is. My interview with another former New Age UFO researcher and MUFON investigator showed he also found the Bible was the only thing that could adequately explain the phenomenon.

I applaud Mr Redfern for his candid views and for his honesty in putting the usual reinforcement syndrome to one side and, potential books sales, to speak the truth about his findings. It’s a rare thing. I will be sending Mr Redfern a signed copy of Alien Intrusion: UFOs and the Evolution Connection with my prayers that he also finds the One who is the truth.

Nothing Is Solid & Everything Is Energy – Scientists Explain The World of Quantum Physics

It has been written about before, over and over again, but cannot be emphasized enough. The world of quantum physics is an eerie one, one that sheds light on the truth about our world in ways that challenge the existing framework of accepted knowledge.

What we perceive as our physical material world, is really not physical or material at all, in fact, it is far from it. This has been proven time and time again by multiple Nobel Prize (among many other scientists around the world) winning physicists, one of them being Niels Bohr, a Danish Physicist who made significant contributions to understanding atomic structure and quantum theory.

“If quantum mechanics hasn’t profoundly shocked you, you haven’t understood it yet. Everything we call real is made of things that cannot be regarded as real.”

 At the turn of the nineteenth century, physicists started to explore the relationship between energy and the structure of matter. In doing so, the belief that a physical, Newtonian material universe that was at the very heart of scientific knowing was dropped, and the realization that matter is nothing but an illusion replaced it. Scientists began to recognize that everything in the Universe is made out of energy.

“Despite the unrivaled empirical success of quantum theory, the very suggestion that it may be literally true as a description of nature is still greeted with cynicism, incomprehension and even anger.”

Quantum physicists discovered that physical atoms are made up of vortices of energy that are constantly spinning and vibrating, each one radiating its own unique energy signature. Therefore, if we really want to observe ourselves and find out what we are, we are really beings of energy and vibration, radiating our own unique energy signature -this is fact and is what quantum physics has shown us time and time again. We are much more than what we perceive ourselves to be, and it’s time we begin to see ourselves in that light. If you observed the composition of an atom with a microscope you would see a small, invisible tornado-like vortex, with a number of infinitely small energy vortices called quarks and photons. These are what make up the structure of the atom. As you focused in closer and closer on the structure of the atom, you would see nothing, you would observe a physical void. The atom has no physical structure, we have no physical structure, physical things really don’t have any physical structure! Atoms are made out of invisible energy, not tangible matter.

It’s quite the conundrum, isn’t it? Our experience tells us that our reality is made up of physical material things, and that our world is an independently existing objective one. The revelation that the universe is not an assembly of physical parts, suggested by Newtonian physics, and instead comes from a holistic entanglement of immaterial energy waves stems from the work of Albert Einstein, Max Planck and Werner Heisenberg, among others. Scientists Explain the World of Quantum Physics Nothing Is Truly Solid, And Everything Is Pure Ener

The Role of Consciousness in Quantum Mechanics

What does it mean that our physical material reality isn’t really physical at all? It could mean a number of things, and concepts such as this cannot be explored if scientists remain within the boundaries of the only perceived world existing, the world we see. As Nikola Tesla supposedly said:

“The day science begins to study non-physical phenomena, it will make more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of its existence.” 

Fortunately, many scientists have already taken the leap, and have already questioned the meaning and implications of what we’ve discovered with quantum physics. One of these potential revelations is that “the observer creates the reality.”

A fundamental conclusion of the new physics also acknowledges that the observer creates the reality. As observers, we are personally involved with the creation of our own reality. Physicists are being forced to admit that the universe is a “mental” construction. Pioneering physicist Sir James Jeans wrote: “The stream of knowledge is heading toward a non-mechanical reality; the universe begins to look more like a great thought than like a great machine. Mind no longer appears to be an accidental intruder into the realm of matter, we ought rather hail it as the creator and governor of the realm of matter.

One great example that illustrates the role of consciousness within the physical material world (which we know not to be so physical) is the double slit experiment. This experiment has been used multiple times to explore the role of consciousness in shaping the nature of physical reality. (2)

A double-slit optical system was used to test the possible role of consciousness in the collapse of the quantum wave-function. The ratio of the interference pattern’s double-slit spectral power to its single-slit spectral power was predicted to decrease when attention was focused toward the double-slit as compared to away from it. The study found that factors associated with consciousness, such as meditation, experience, electrocortical markers of focused attention and psychological factors such as openness and absorption, significantly correlated in predicted ways with perturbations in the double-slit interference pattern.(2)

What’s The Significance?

The significance of this information is for us to wake up, and realize that we are all energy, radiating our own unique energy signature. Feelings, thoughts and emotions play a vital role, quantum physics helps us see the significance of how we all feel. If all of us are in a peaceful loving state inside, it will no doubt impact the external world around us, and influence how others feel as well.

Studies have shown that positive emotions and operating from a place of peace within oneself can lead to a very different experience for the person emitting those emotions and for those around them. At our subatomic level, does the vibrational frequency change the manifestation of physical reality? If so, in what way? We know that when an atom changes its state, it absorbs or emits electromagnetic frequencies, which are responsible for changing its state.  Do different states of emotion, perception and feelings result in different electromagnetic frequencies? Yes! This has been proven. (3)

Within 1994 the book The Orion Secret by Robert Bauval as well as Adrian Gilbert caused a good uproar. No question, it says on the cover “After more than four thousand years they solved the actual secrets from the pyramids”. The thesis, that purports to have completed this, is the Orion Correlation Theory or, in a nutshell, the OCT.

Although released by 2 authors the actual thesis is basically the work associated with Robert Bauval. He states to have discovered the solution to concerns people hotly debated. Is pyramid positioning coincidental? Or do they offer a wider strategy?

Should you glimpse the Sumerian, the Egyptian, the tales of the Maya. If you examine each one of these cultures, exactly what you’ll notice is the exact same story shared in different methods in different languages. A Nasa spacecraft that will land on an asteroid and take a sample has just glimpsed its target

The asteroid named Bennu is about the size of a mountain.

TWO YEARS AFTER launching from Florida, a Nasa spacecraft is closing in on an ancient asteroid, Bennu, for a sample of space dust that could reveal clues to the start of life in the solar system.

The spacecraft, OSIRIS-REx, has even snapped its first, blurry pic of the cosmic body, which is about the size of a small mountain, about 500 metres in diameter.

The spacecraft is designed to circle Bennu, and reach out with a robotic arm to “high-five” its surface, then return the sample it collects to Earth in 2023.

The first images of Bennu were taken on 17 August at a distance of 2.3 million kilometers from the $800 million spacecraft.

“This is the closest we have even been to Bennu,” said Dante Lauretta, OSIRIS-REx principal investigator at the University of Arizona, Tucson.

“This is significant in that we are now in the vicinity of the asteroid, closer than we have ever been even during the close approaches of the asteroid to the Earth.”

Bennu was chosen from the some 500,000 asteroids in the solar system because it orbits close to Earth’s path around the sun, it is the right size for scientific study, and is one of the oldest asteroids known to Nasa.

Astronomers say it poses a slight risk — a one in 2,700 chance — of colliding with Earth in 2135.

It is also a carbon-rich asteroid, the kind of cosmic body that may have delivered life-giving materials to Earth billions of years ago.

The OSIRIS-REx mission is not the first to ever visit an asteroid and attempt a sample return — Japan has done it before and Europe has managed to land on a comet.

But it is the first asteroid-sample-return mission for Nasa, and it aims to bring back the biggest sample ever, on the order of 60 g.

The US men who walked on the Moon during the Apollo era of the 1960s and 1970s collected and carried back to Earth 382 kg of moon rocks.

In December, the spacecraft will begin a detailed survey of asteroid’s surface, which NASA has defined as “arrival” at the asteroid.

Orbital insertion is expected on 31 December. The sample, however, will not be taken until July 2020.

UFO SPOTTED in Buckingham and Oxfordshire as strange 'BLUE EYES' travel across night sky

STRANGE blue lights moving through the night sky have been spotted by residents in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire as some onlookers describe seeing a UFO.

The unusual UFO lights were spotted across Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire

Late last night concerned residents expressed their disbelief on social media as they reported seeing an unusual light that looked “like a pair of eyes”.

James Lidington, who saw the bizarre occurrence from Princes Risborough, told Express.co.uk: “I first notice them at around 11pm, and they lasted around 2 mins before dispersing.

STRANGE blue lights moving through the night sky have been spotted by residents in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire as some onlookers describe seeing a UFO.

“The lights were very large and shaped like a pair of eyes looking down at you.

“It moved across the sky, we only lost sight of it as it disappeared out of sight.

“It was very strange to see, I’ve never seen anything like it before.”

Sightings of the blue lights were seen across the county and were spotted by multiple people.

The lights were also photographed by residents of Bicester in Oxfordshire.

Mr Lidington continued: “It looked like maybe someone had a bright light on, like a flood light but it got brighter and moved across the sky, right over us before vanishing out of sight.

“You read and hear story about people seeing what they think is aliens.

“This was very like those stories, making it feel like it could be aliens or some night creature watching above us.”

Another onlooker described a “blue sky” on Twitter.

The strange sighting is one of several sightings of off activity in the skies over the past few months.

In November residents in the Russian city of Yekaterinburg were left perplexed as they claimed to have seen an alien spaceship.

An unidentified object was caught on camera in the early hours of Monday morning and fell near the southern outskirts of the city near the local EXPO exhibition centre and Koltsovo airport.

Despite the video evidence of the incident taking place, the Russian Emergency Ministry's branch in the country's Sverdlovsk region has said there were no reports of any such events taking place.

The local airport also failed to see the green light.

Massive Pyramid, Lost City and Ancient Human Sacrifices Unearthed in China

The pyramid contains 11 steps, each of which was lined with stone. On the topmost step, there "were extensive palaces built of rammed earth, with wooden pillars and roofing tiles, a gigantic water reservoir, and domestic remains related to daily life," the researchers wrote.

The city's rulers lived in these palaces, and art and craft production were carried out nearby. "Evidence so far suggests that the stepped pyramid complex functioned not only as a residential space for ruling Shimao elites, but also as a space for artisanal or industrial craft production," the archaeologists wrote.

A series of stone walls with ramparts and gates was built around the pyramid and the city. "At the entrance to the stepped pyramid were sophisticated bulwarks [defensive walls] whose design suggests that they were intended to provide both defense and highly restricted access," the archaeologists wrote.

The remains of numerous human sacrifices have been discovered at Shimao. "In the outer gateway of the eastern gate on the outer rampart alone, six pits containing decapitated human heads have been found," the archaeologists wrote.

China's Sending a Probe to the Moon's Far Side. Here's Where It Will Land

The 115-mile-wide (186 kilometers) Von Kármán Crater lies in the northwestern SPA basin. The topography of the landing region is generally flat.

Secondary craters and ejecta materials cover most of the area's mare (volcanic basalt) unit and can be traced back to at least four source craters: Finsen, Von Kármán L, Von Kármán L' and Antoniadi. The region also features extensive sinuous ridges and troughs.

New information

China 1st to Send Mission to Dark Side of the Moon

A recent paper, led by Jun Huang of the School of Earth Sciences at the China University of Geosciences in Wuhan, lays out some key characteristics of Chang'e 4's targeted landing zone. 

The study presents a detailed 3D geological analysis of the nature and history of the Von Kármán Crater. The researchers found that the region contains far-side mare basalts affected by linear features and ejecta material from a wide range of surrounding craters.

The results provide a framework for the Chang'e 4 mission to carry out on-the-spot exploration, the scientists wrote in the study, which was published in May in the Journal of Geophysical Research: Planets.

Relay satellite

Already in place for the upcoming mission is the Chinese relay satellite Queqiao. It will enable communications between mission control here on Earth and Chang'e 4, as well as future far-side missions.

Queqiao lifted off in May atop a Long March 4C rocket from China's Xichang Satellite Launch Center. The relay spacecraft has made its way to a halo orbit around the Earth-Moon Lagrange Point 2, a gravitationally stable spot beyond the far side of the moon.

Lander, rover instruments

The Chang'e 4 lander and rover were designed as backups for the successful Chang'e 3 mission, which launched in December 2013 and landed the rover Yutu on the lunar surface. So, some of the science payloads on Chang'e 4 are similar to those of its predecessor, such as a landing camera, a terrain camera, a panoramic camera on the lander and a visible/near-infrared imaging spectrometer, along with two ground-penetrating radars able to reveal the subsurface structure of the landing area.

Additional instruments on the lander are a low-frequency radio spectrometer, which will perform joint space-physics observations with the low-frequency radio spectrometer on the Queqiao relay satellite. [China's Yutu Rover Moon Mission in Photos]

Also onboard Chang'e 4 is a German lunar neutron and radiation dose detector to explore the surface radiation environment of the far side.

A new instrument on the rover is the Swedish neutral atom detector designed to study the interaction between the solar wind and lunar surface materials.

In one of my recent articles here at Mysterious Universe – titled UFO Encounters, Saucers and Secrets – I highlighted the UFO connection to the U.K.’s Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ), which is the U.K.’s equivalent of the United States’ National Security Agency (NSA). I stated: “Robin Cole, of Cheltenham, England, spent a great deal of time addressing the matter of GCHQ and UFOs. To the extent that, in 1997, he published a report that detailed his extensive research in this seldom-addressed area. Cole cultivated sources from GCHQ, secured data on UFO cases secretly investigated by staff at the agency, and learned that GCHQ had a large library of books on the UFO subject. But, there was more, too. As a result of his investigations, Cole was visited by personnel from the U.K. Police Force’s Special Branch, who wanted to know all about his work, which had him worried or a while. The GCHQ Tempora Program

The fact is, though, that such was the extent of the interview I did with Cole back in the 1990s, I thought I would make this a three-part article, which is exactly what I have done. In my first book, A Covert Agenda, I made mention of a small (but nonetheless intriguing) body of evidence pertaining to the collation and investigation of UFO data on the part of the sprawling Government Communications Headquarters at Cheltenham (GCHQ), England. Although GCHQ actively and forthrightly denies that any such claims have a basis in reality, time and again snippets of information surface, suggesting that behind the official stance there exists an incredible story just waiting to be uncovered.

To illustrate this, on 29 March 1996, two security guards assigned to the facility viewed during the early hours of the morning a silent, brightly lit object that over-flew their heads while they patrolled the base. “We just looked at it,” said one, adding, “We weren’t frightened. We were just amazed.” The other concurred: “I have never seen anything like it before in my life. It was traveling very fast. It definitely was not a plane.” The response from Government Communications Headquarters when the media latched on to what had occurred was tight lipped. “No doubt they did see something but I couldn’t say what it was,” was the carefully worded response from a GCHQ spokesman.

Robin Cole was able to shed further light on the 29 March 1996 UFO encounter reported by two GCHQ security guards. He told me: “Both of the guards were so convinced by what they’d seen that they went to The Citizen – this is the local newspaper that covers the Gloucester area – and reported it. Well, the papers went on to publish their names and the fact that they were security guards at GCHQ. Normally, people who work at the base just say that they’re civil servants, because they don’t want to be associated with GCHQ publicly. Well, we didn’t make too big a deal out of it, but we did try and look into it all a bit deeper. As I previously said, there area number of people within Circular Forum who work at GCHQ. Of course, I tried to press them to find out what they could.”

Cole continued: “It just so happens that one of our members knew one of the security guards and another member used to work at GCHQ as a security guard and knew the other one. They then subsequently invited the two of them around for tea and got on to talking about UFOs – as you do. Basically, both of them stated that when the article in The Citizen appeared, ‘We were both hauled in before our superiors the following morning and we were told that what we had seen was the Mir Space Station, and that we were to drop it unless we wanted to face severe action. You know how it is [at GCHQ]; they’re all paranoid. But we know deep in our hearts that this was not a space station. It was far too low in orbit and it just came over and stopped. It was there for several minutes and was then joined by a second light. The one then seemed to drop down quite low, and as soon as it started dropping, the pair of them just shot off. And we know it wasn’t Mir.’”

“It’s something that’s interested me from way back when in England as a newspaper reporter. And a good friend of mine, Buzz Aldrin, the second man on the moon, has told me stories of astronauts coming back to Earth reporting UFOs.”

While he was best known for being friends with the rich and famous, Robin Leach, the host for 11 years of “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous,” was also a UFO believer and a friend of paranormal and UFO expert Lee Speigel, who revealed that side of Leach in a Huffington Post article in 2011. Robin Leach, known for his signature sigh-off, “champagne wishes and caviar dreams,” signed off for good on August 24, 2018, at the age of 76.

“Truth be told, Leach and I actually went UFO hunting one rainy night in 1976 up in Maine after hearing stories of many local citizens spotting strange nocturnal lights in the sky.”

Lee Speigel recounted his UFO adventure with Robin Leach while covering a fundraiser for the Keep Memory Alive center in Las Vegas, which raises awareness and funds to support the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. Leach was a major fundraiser and a charity auctioneer for the event.

“I haven’t ever really raised the subject with celebrities, probably because they’d think I was weird and mad. But we do know that over the years, everybody from presidents of the United States to major dignitaries around the world, and, certainly, some of our NASA space boys — they have claimed to have seen and photographed unexplained flying objects or phenomena.”

While Robin Leach didn’t broach the UFO subject with celebrities he interviewed on “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous,” he did interview John Alexander, a retired Army colonel and author of “UFOs: Myths, Conspiracies and Realities”, for Las Vegas Weekly – an interview set up with the help of Speigel. The colonel told Leach about UFO disclosure at the U.S. presidential and world leader level and secrets he’s learned about Roswell and other real and alleged UFO incidents. Needless to say, Leach was characteristically excited.

“I am fascinated with the subject, and you can be certain the next time I run into the retired colonel, we’ll share a glass of fine champagne and maybe a little caviar and talk a little more about the phenomena.”

Robin Leach had reportedly been hospitalized since November when he suffered a stroke in the Mexican resort city of Cabo San Lucas. Tributes are already pouring in from around the world from the rich and famous who knew him. Did he also get a message from space? After what would be his last conversation with Leach, Lee Speigel said Robin wished for this:

“Maybe for my eventual bucket list, we should try for one more UFO encounter trip!”
