This is a strange one. England is known for having a lot of UFO sightings and that really makes sense because last time I was in England last year I saw clouds like I have never before seen around the world and I even took a photo of a fleet of UFOs darting into the clouds. Clearly these UFOs move from cloud to cloud watching the humans below. Since England is a small area surrounded by ocean, it also makes sense to assume that there is one or more alien bases off the coast of England. Those clouds...I will never forget those strange clouds.

Alien Orb Fleet Over McDonalds In Dubai, Jan 9, 2020, Video, UFO Sighting News.

The eyewitness states that the UFOs were visible at 4:15pm. Many UFOs sightings occur just before or during sunset and this looks like a setting sun to me. Dubai has strict rule in that country and I highly doubt that they would allow festive balloons or hot air balloons to pass above them. Those black spheres really stand out in the distance against the crimson sky. I think these are UFOs passing over Dubai and I think they wanted to be seen. I deduced that by the hight off the ground, the color, the lighting and they are hovering over a McDonalds...a very public and busy area.

Flying Person Seen Over Ancient Temple In Saudi Arabia, Dec 2019, Video, UFO Sighting News.

This UFO was seen a few weeks ago over the holy temple of Masjid Nabawi. It looks like a man standing with his arms out in front of him, no head visible but thats because of the angle its turned...photo above show the back of the person. Is this Muhammad himself? Well, it does look like a person, but could be an alien ship. 

Why would aliens be interested in such a place? Its of incredible religious significants. Al-Masjid an-Nabawī is a mosque established and built by the Islamic prophet Muhammad, situated in the city of Medina in the Hejaz region of Saudi Arabia. It was one of the first mosques built by Muhammad, and is now one of the largest mosques in the world.

Aliens are interested in human nature, our beliefs, our traditions and especially those that carry on for thousands of years. Especially since thousands of years ago, aliens were often mistaken for angels and gods. Perhaps Muhammad himself is such an god like alien and is still alive on his home planet, but came to earth to install his wisdom on humanity. And this ship...might be his own coming back for some unknown reason.

Crashed UFOs and secret operational bases in Antarctica is an ongoing project, which started several years ago, carried out by UFO researcher Frederick living in South Africa in collaboration with UFO Sightings Hotspot.

Frederick who has been investigating the 3rd Reich theory for about 40 years, spoke to researchers including an ex Nazi in his town who was an electrical engineer. This man told Fredrick that there was a WW2 3rd Reich base and he told about their highly classified flying disc space program but that the world is looking in the wrong place in Antarctica.

Frederick uses Google Earth to confirm the secret bases, crashed UFOs, ancient objects, etc. as well as he collects data from his sources in the Antarctic to confirm certain classified access information, such as protected zones, no-fly zones, secret bases.

Many secret operational bases in Antarctica are camouflaged by snow and on Google Earth camouflaged by fake clouds, fake cloud vapor, fake snow, blurred and blacked-out images.

There are huge secret (extraterrestrial) bases under the ice or partly under the ice, but the structures are disguised as research stations.

Discoveries made by Frederick match the statement of Emery Smith who talks about suppressed technology and secret projects in Antarctica during a recent interview with Leak Project.

One of the reasons is that persons who have enough money buying their own private box satellite which is equipped with infrared X-ray, HD cameras and these amateurs can sneak across Antarctica at one point and can take some amazing photographs with their satellite.

Despite there is dis-information campaign of what really happening there in Antarctica, there is a breaking point now and the government have to answer on what is really going on in Antarctica. Therefore they have to release something for example they found some artifacts from an ancient civilization or extraterrestrial race.

The fact is that there are huge extraterrestrial crafts down there that coming out of the melting ice.

Another fact is that there are huge underground facilities, facilities under the ice and under the water that they and probably together with aliens are operating and these (ancient) facilities are there for quit some time.

They have mapped all these facilities already with underground penetration radar and they have also maps of the extraterrestrial crafts down there.

Acloud in the shape of a hand was seen by many people in the night of Thursday (01/09) in the cities of Asunción and Juazeirinho, region of Paraíba Cariri in Brazil.

The rare sky phenomenon was photographed by residents just before the 'hand' fell apart.

The curious image was posted on social networks by many residents, whereby one resident said " Look how beautiful, the hand of God is always stretched out for us" reports midiasalouis.

THE US Navy has admitted it has top secret footage from a UFO sighting - but say it can't be released as it would cause "grave damage" to national security.

Some footage from the USS Nimitz "Tic Tac" UFO incident in 2004, where a Navy Commander spotted  a floating object that looked like "a 40ft Tic Tac", was released in 2017, but officials say there is more being held back for security reasons.

Crew aboard the Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser USS Princeton had been spending the past two weeks tracking mysterious aircraft on and off.

The incident unfolded during carrier group exercises in the Pacific, off the coast of Mexico.

It was spotted by six pilots in total.

One baffled pilot who spotted the UFO said: "It would go from like 50 feet off the ground, which when you’re out in the open ocean, you know, off the coast of San Diego, it looked like it was just hovering over the water.

“But there was no method of propulsion that was keeping it airborne: no wings, no heat, keeping it airborne or aloft.”

Video of the 2004 encounter was revealed to public in 2017 and the Navy finally admitted the videos were real last November.

The discovery was made by researcher Christian Lambright who enquired with a Freedom of Information Request.

In a letter to the researcher, Coordinator Camille V’Estres, wrote: "Our review of our records and systems reveal that ONI has no releasable records related to your request.

"ONI has searched our records for responsive documents.

"We have discovered certain briefing slides that are classified TOP SECRET.

"A review of these materials indicates that are currently and appropriate Marked and Classified TOP SECRET under Executive Order 13526, and the Original Classification Authority has determined that the release of these materials would cause exceptionally grave damage to the National Security of the United States".

The spooky encounters have been the subject of many interviews - but have never been explained.

Life is pretty easy to recognise. It moves, it grows, it eats, it excretes, it reproduces. Simple. In biology, researchers often use the acronym “MRSGREN” to describe it. It stands for movement, respiration, sensitivity, growth, reproduction, excretion and nutrition.

But Helen Sharman, Britain’s first astronaut and a chemist at Imperial College London, recently said that alien lifeforms that are impossible to spot may be living among us. How could that be possible?

While life may be easy to recognise, it’s actually notoriously difficult to define and has had scientists and philosophers in debate for centuries – if not millennia. For example, a 3D printer can reproduce itself, but we wouldn’t call it alive. On the other hand, a mule is famously sterile, but we would never say it doesn’t live.

As nobody can agree, there are more than 100 definitions of what life is. An alternative (but imperfect) approach is describing life as “a self-sustaining chemical system capable of Darwinian evolution”, which works for many cases we want to describe.

The lack of definition is a huge problem when it comes to searching for life in space. Not being able to define life other than “we’ll know it when we see it” means we are truly limiting ourselves to geocentric, possibly even anthropocentric, ideas of what life looks like. When we think about aliens, we often picture a humanoid creature. But the intelligent life we are searching for doesn’t have to be humanoid.

Life, but not as we know it

Sharman says she believes aliens exist and “there’s no two ways about it”. Furthermore, she wonders: “Will they be like you and me, made up of carbon and nitrogen? Maybe not. It’s possible they’re here right now and we simply can’t see them.”

Such life would exist in a “shadow biosphere”. By that, I don’t mean a ghost realm, but undiscovered creatures probably with a different biochemistry. This means we can’t study or even notice them because they are outside of our comprehension. Assuming it exists, such a shadow biosphere would probably be microscopic.

So why haven’t we found it? We have limited ways of studying the microscopic world as only a small percentage of microbes can be cultured in a lab. This may mean that there could indeed be many lifeforms we haven’t yet spotted. We do now have the ability to sequence the DNA of unculturable strains of microbes, but this can only detect life as we know it – that contain DNA.

If we find such a biosphere, however, it is unclear whether we should call it alien. That depends on whether we mean “of extraterrestrial origin” or simply “unfamiliar”.

Silicon-based life

A popular suggestion for an alternative biochemistry is one based on silicon rather than carbon. It makes sense, even from a geocentric point of view. Around 90% of the Earth is made up of silicon, iron, magnesium and oxygen, which means there’s lots to go around for building potential life.

Silicon is similar to carbon, it has four electrons available for creating bonds with other atoms. But silicon is heavier, with 14 protons (protons make up the atomic nucleus with neutrons) compared to the six in the carbon nucleus. While carbon can create strong double and triple bonds to form long chains useful for many functions, such as building cell walls, it is much harder for silicon. It struggles to create strong bonds, so long-chain molecules are much less stable.

What’s more, common silicon compounds, such as silicon dioxide (or silica), are generally solid at terrestrial temperatures and insoluble in water. Compare this to highly soluble carbon dioxide, for example, and we see that carbon is more flexible and provides many more molecular possibilities.

Life on Earth is fundamentally different from the bulk composition of the Earth. Another argument against a silicon-based shadow biosphere is that too much silicon is locked up in rocks. In fact, the chemical composition of life on Earth has an approximate correlation with the chemical composition of the sun, with 98% of atoms in biology consisting of hydrogen, oxygen and carbon. So if there were viable silicon lifeforms here, they may have evolved elsewhere.

That said, there are arguments in favour of silicon-based life on Earth. Nature is adaptable. A few years ago, scientists at Caltech managed to breed a bacterial protein that created bonds with silicon – essentially bringing silicon to life. So even though silicon is inflexible compared with carbon, it could perhaps find ways to assemble into living organisms, potentially including carbon.

And when it comes to other places in space, such as Saturn’s moon Titan or planets orbiting other stars, we certainly can’t rule out the possibility of silicon-based life.

To find it, we have to somehow think outside of the terrestrial biology box and figure out ways of recognising lifeforms that are fundamentally different from the carbon-based form. There are plenty of experiments testing out these alternative biochemistries, such as the one from Caltech.

Regardless of the belief held by many that life exists elsewhere in the universe, we have no evidence for that. So it is important to consider all life as precious, no matter its size, quantity or location. The Earth supports the only known life in the universe. So no matter what form life elsewhere in the solar system or universe may take, we have to make sure we protect it from harmful contamination – whether it is terrestrial life or alien lifeforms.

So could aliens be among us? I don’t believe that we have been visited by a life form with the technology to travel across the vast distances of space. But we do have evidence for life-forming, carbon-based molecules having arrived on Earth on meteorites, so the evidence certainly doesn’t rule out the same possibility for more unfamiliar life forms.

A big wake-up call': ‘Giant UFO’ over California reportedly seen ‘by more than 100 witnesses’

The assumption, however, was instantly dismissed taking into account the above average height it flew at, equal to “2,000ft in the air”.

On top of that, the object seemed to be silent, stuck on the horizon without changing its position, making conspiracy theorists likewise rule out skydivers.

In the caption to the video, the uploader claims the object, which many deemed to be some stealth craft, had seen by “over 100 witnesses".

“Whatever it is it's Not a CGI hoax. Difficult to tell if All the lights are connected to one object", another suggested.

“At one point, the huge UFO was just hovering in the same spot for over five minutes before it speeds off into the night sky", uploader UFOS & Aliens Santana wrote, while another suggested that if so, “then that is impressive footage".

Users appear to be taking the perfectly realistic craft video seriously:

“I’m sharing this!.. Ufo activity is increasing so fast! The world is gonna get a big wake up call!” one exclaimed, whereas a second left some room for a bit of irony:

“Another floating broken light bulb that needs to be replaced! New ladder almost ready! Lol”

They found massive black holes in 13 dwarf galaxies, which are now among the smallest galaxies known to host such massive black holes. In roughly half the galaxies, the black hole isn’t at the galactic center, but instead is “wandering.”

It’s an amazing aspect of our knowledge of the modern universe that – everywhere we look – large galaxies have supermassive black holes at their centers. Now a team of astronomers has spotted 13 massive black holes in dwarf galaxies, located less than a billion light-years from Earth. All 13 galaxies are more than 100 times less massive than our own Milky Way. That makes them among the smallest galaxies known to host massive black holes. The astronomers announced the discovery at the American Astronomical Society’s recent meeting in Honolulu, Hawaii (January 4-8, 2020).

The astronomers estimate that the black holes in these smaller galaxies average about 400,000 times the mass of our sun. That’s in contrast to the supermassive black hole at our galaxy’s center, which is about 4 million times the sun’s mass.

Amy Reines of Montana State University led the new study, which was published January 3 in the peer-reviewed Astrophysical Journal. She said in a statement:

The new … observations revealed that 13 of these galaxies have strong evidence for a massive black hole that is actively consuming surrounding material.

We were very surprised to find that, in roughly half of those 13 galaxies, the black hole is not at the center of the galaxy, unlike the case in larger galaxies.

The astronomers used the Karl G. Jansky Very Large Array (VLA) – on the Plains of San Agustin in central New Mexico – to make the discovery.

They said their finding suggests that these dwarf galaxies likely merged with other galaxies earlier in their history. The theory is consistent with computer simulations predicting that roughly half of the massive black holes in dwarf galaxies will be found wandering in the outskirts of their galaxies. Reines said:

This work has taught us that we must broaden our searches for massive black holes in dwarf galaxies beyond their centers to get a more complete understanding of the population and learn what mechanisms helped form the first massive black holes in the early universe.

Reines added:

We hope that studying them and their galaxies will give us insights into how similar black holes in the early universe formed and then grew, through galactic mergers over billions of years, producing the supermassive black holes we see in larger galaxies today, with masses of many millions or billions of times that of the sun.

Ancient Scythian “Amazon” Women Discovered In Russia Buried Alongside Their Weaponry

A troupe of ancient warrior women buried 2,000 years ago alongside dozens of weapons has been discovered in a Russian cemetery known as Devitsa V, illuminating how Scythian women lived, died, and were celebrated in the afterlife.

Archaeologists with Russia’s RAS Institute of Archaeology have been studying the site since 2010, gradually working toward excavating the 19 massive archaeological mounds that throughout the years have been slowly plowed over for agricultural purposes. It is under one of these mounds – measuring 1 meter high by 40 meters wide  (3.3 feet high by 130 feet wide) – that the Don excavation team discovered a narrow entrance leading to the remains of a tomb made of crisscrossing oak blocks and surrounded by earthen clay.

Buried below the mound were four women of differing ages: a young girl around the age of 12 or 13, a woman in her 20s, another between the ages of 25 and 35, and a woman 45-50 years old. The entrance to the tomb was sealed, leading archaeologists to believe that all four individuals were buried at the same time.

Two untouched skeletons were laid to rest on a wooden bed covered by grass, one of whom was a young woman placed in the “position of a horseman”, which required the tendons of her legs to be cut in order to position her. Under her left shoulder were a bronze mirror and two nearby spears. On her left hand was a bracelet made of glass beads.

Nearby, a middle-aged woman between 45 and 50 years old – a “respectable age” considering the average lifespan was between 30 and 35 – was buried in a ceremonial headdress called a calathos. The jewelry was made mostly of gold with traces of copper, silver, and iron, the rim of which was decorated with pendants in the shape of amphorae, ancient containers used to hold coveted goods. The unique headdress is the first of its kind to be found in this state and of this quality from the region.

"Such head dresses have been found a bit more than two dozen [times] and they all were in 'tzar' or not very rich barrows of the steppe zone of Scythia. We first found such headdress in the barrows of the forest-steppe zone and what is more interesting the headdress was first found in the burial of an Amazon," said Valerii Guliaev, head of the Don archaeological expedition, in a statement.

An iron knife wrapped in fabric and a uniquely forked arrowhead were also placed near the woman, suggesting she was an Amazon – Scythian women-warriors who rode along the nomadic horse-people of Iran and Eastern Europe.

Also found in the tomb were more than 30 iron arrowheads, an iron hook made in the shape of a bird, a horse harness and hook to hang it, iron knives, fragments of pottery vessels, and animal bones.

 5000 Year Old Aboriginal Cave Painting of The “Wandjina.” Known As ‘The Sky Beings’

  5000 year old cave art from Australia depicts strange beings that resemble what many perceive to represent the modern day 'Gray Alien.' These beings were known as Wandjina, cloud spirits and sky beings.

  Ancient cave art depicting peculiar beings has been found all over the world, dating back thousands of years. Perhaps these beings weren't really mythical?

Those who have gone deep into the lore associated with the UFO and extraterrestrial phenomenon are no doubt aware just how far back the phenomenon may go. Today, the UFO phenomenon is documented quite well, and it’s taken very seriously as, in the past decade alone, it’s gained a tremendous amount of well deserved credibility. But there is also the fact that the documentation of this phenomenon dates back thousands of years, there are multiple cases outlined throughout history, and many of them you can find in Dr. Jacque Valle’s book, Wonders In The Sky. 

But how far back does “documentation” go? Discoveries of ancient cave art all over the world raise some interesting questions, especially ancient artwork in the form of cave paintings that were discovered in Kimberly, Australia. These specific paintings I am referring to were created approximately 5000 years ago by the native aborigines, and they illustrate entities that they referred to as the Wandjina, or sky beings.

According to Richard Dolan, one of the world’s leading UFO researchers,

In the aboriginal tradition, these beings were part of the beginning of creation and had great power over nature. One of them even became the Milky Way. When looking at the haunting images of the Wandjina, it is easy to think of gray aliens: oversized heads, no hair, large black eyes, no ears, no mouth, and pure white skin.  Until the modern era of UFOs and depictions of ET beings, scholars had no point of reference for the Wandjina, no way to understand why these native Australians would create God beings so radically different in appearance from themselves. According to Encyclopedia Britannica,

Wandjina style, also spelled Wondjina, type of depiction in Australian cave paintings of figures that represent mythological beings associated with the creation of the world. Called wandjina figures, the images are believed by modern Aborigines to have been painted by the Wondjinas, prehistoric inhabitants of the Kimberley region in northwest Australia, the only area where cave paintings in the wandjina style have been found. Among the Aborigines, each wandjina image is renovated, or repainted, by the oldest living member supposedly descended from its originator (source)

Based on everything we know now, maybe these beings weren’t quite ‘mythical’ as suggested. Many scholars also emphasize that they were considered “cloud spirits.” (source)

Again, there are many such strange depictions found all over the world. For example, not long ago, more paintings were discovered by scholars in Chhattisgarh, India.

According to archaeologist JR Bhagat, these paintings depict extraterrestrials. The Chhattisgarh state department of archaeology and culture was planning to seek the help of NASA and ISRO for research regarding the paintings, that’s the last I heard about that.

“The findings suggest that humans in prehistoric times may have seen or imagined beings from other planets which still create curiosity among people and researchers. Extensive research is needed for further findings. Chhattisgarh presently doesn’t have any such expert who could give clarity on the subject. The paintings are done in natural colours that have hardly faded despite the years. The strangely carved figures are seen holding weapon-like objects and do not have clear features. The nose and mouth are missing, and in a few pictures they are even shown wearing spacesuits. We can’t refuse the possibility of imagination by prehistoric men but humans usually fancy such things.” – JR Bhagat (source)

Dolan goes on to describe many other examples in his book.

There are many such ancient paintings on rocks and in caves around the world that depict what look like ET beings. In the northern Italian region of Lombardy, there is a rock painting dating to the Copper age, between 5,000 and 7000 years ago. It depicts apparent priests or God figures. Each of them has what appears to be a halo, except that these halos look rather more like helmets, with straight lines extending out from them.

The Takeaway

Perhaps some of these beings are indeed ‘extraterrestrial?’ Perhaps some of these beings are still visiting us today? The realization of this seems to have occurred throughout human history, but as we discover more and become more technologically advanced ourselves, perhaps some type of global interaction is part of our future? Perhaps it has already been for beings on other worlds? Always interesting to think about, because these realizations do indeed have tremendous implications.

Why are they there? Unclear.

“It’s creepy,” said Missy Blackman, who saw three drones hovering over her farm outside Palisade, Neb., on a recent evening, including one that lingered right above her house. “I have a lot of questions of why and what are they, and nobody seems to have any answers.”

Since before Christmas, sheriff’s departments in the region have been bombarded with reports of large drones with blinking lights and wingspans of up to 6 feet flying over rural towns and open fields. The drones have unnerved residents, prompted a federal investigation and made international news, even though they may be perfectly legal. And still, they remain unexplained.

“In terms of aircraft flying at night and not being identified, this is a first for me personally,” said Sheriff James Brueggeman of Perkins County, Neb., who has worked in law enforcement for about 28 years and who saw the drones while on patrol Tuesday night.

He said he had heard rumblings about people wanting to shoot down a drone, and had urged residents to report the sightings to law enforcement instead. “I think it’s kind of a joke, but you have to remember the part of the country we live in,” the sheriff said. “People here don’t like their privacy to be invaded.”

The flights have drawn attention just as the Federal Aviation Administration last week proposed sweeping new regulations that would require most drones to be identifiable. Ian Gregor, a spokesman for the F.A.A., said that the timing of the proposed rule was coincidental, but that the agency had opened an investigation of the sightings in Colorado and Nebraska.

“Multiple F.A.A. divisions and government agencies are investigating these reports,” Mr. Gregor said in an email. He declined to discuss the inquiry in detail, but said investigators were trying to determine who was operating the drones and the purpose of the flights.

On Facebook, 911 dispatch lines and local newspaper columns, the drones have been the talk of rural Colorado and Nebraska. And as sightings increase — people in four counties said they had seen them on Tuesday — so too does the urgency of residents’ questions.

Some have suggested they might be part of a simple mapping operation, or a land survey conducted by an oil and gas company — but why would such flights run at night?

NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter has returned some amazing high-resolution photos of the surface of the moon, including these ones of steep cliffs and impact melt inside a young crater called Giordano Bruno.

You might think of the moon as gray, rocky and dusty, a bleak and desolate world. But in fact, the moon is a beautiful place in its own way, and does offer some incredible scenery with its many craters and mountains. This view inside a crater from NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) is a great example, and as the article title says, spectacular.

The stunning view inside a young crater in the top image shows how otherworldly yet starkly and serenely majestic the moon can be.

These photos were taken by LRO in August 2017, from an altitude of 70 miles (113 km). Giordano Bruno Crater is one of the youngest large craters on the moon, 13 miles (21 km) in diameter, and located at 35.97 degrees north latitude, 102.89 degrees east longitude. There is a lot of surface brightness (albedo) contrast visible, as the sun was high above the horizon at the time, and the only shadows seen are from steep cliffs and large boulders.

The steep cliff – the inside wall of the crater – rises a staggering 9,843 feet (3,000 meters) above the bottom of the crater, where you see a large melt pool of ancient liquified rock, left over from the huge impact that created the crater. Can you imagine yourself standing there and gazing up at this massive crater wall in front of you?

The impacts that create craters like these are powerful. Here, a large rocky asteroid or meteor – up to 1.2 miles (2 km) in size – slammed into the moon about ten times faster than a speeding bullet. As typically happens, the impacting rock created a hole in the ground much larger than the rock itself. A tremendous amount of heat and pressure are released during the impact, which melts a lot of the rock. This created a temporary pool of melted rock – the melt pool – which sloshed and flowed, almost like water. Over time, the melted rock cooled and solidified, leaving the darker-colored melt pool we see today. You can still see where the melted rock flowed across the crater floor, filling depressions.

There is also some interesting dark, rubbly material on the bottom floor of the crater, which may be from basaltic dikes or perhaps impact melt glass, called impactite. Could it be similar to what China’s Yutu-2 rover recently found on the far side of the moon?

It isn’t known yet exactly how old the crater is, but the well-preserved forms of the impact melt flows and the sparsity of other smaller craters inside it show that it is quite young geologically-speaking, probably less than 10 million years.

Some of the LRO images of this crater have a pixel scale as small as 1.6 to 1.8 meters (5.5 to 6 feet). When in its lowest orbit, LRO obtained images of the crater with an impressive resolution of 50 centimeters (20 inches).

LRO was launched on June 18, 2009, and has been returning a wealth of science data ever since, as well as stunning views like these.

De ontdekking dateert van vorige zomer, toen Wolf Cukier uit Scarsdale in de staat New York stage liep bij NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland. Bij het doorpluizen van telescoopbeelden van ‘planetenjager’ TESS (Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite) botste hij op een planeet die niet rond één maar rond twee sterren draait. Hij schakelde meteen zijn mentor in en, toen ze pas na een periode met ups en downs in hun overtuiging zeker waren, ook de andere collega’s.

De planeet kreeg de naam TOI 1338 b mee. Nieuwe planeten die gevonden worden met TESS worden niet genoemd naar de ontdekker ervan, maar beginnen met TOI. Net zoals TOI 700 d, de pas ontdekte planeet die gelijkenissen vertoont met de Aarde en waarop eventueel leven mogelijk zou zijn.

Cukier moest systemen onderzoeken waarbij twee sterren rond elkaar cirkelen. “Ik was ongeveer drie dagen ver in mijn stage toen ik een signaal van een systeem genaamd TOI 1338 zag”, zei Cukier over zijn ontdekking. De student zag iets in de baan van twee sterren dat het licht blokkeerde. “Eerst dacht ik dat het een stellaire eclips was, maar de timing klopte niet. Het bleek een planeet te zijn.”

TOI 1338 b is volgens NASA de eerste planeet met twee eigen sterren die ontdekt werd met TESS. Het is ook nog maar de dertiende ooit gevonden in zijn soort. De planeet is 6,9 keer groter dan de Aarde - ongeveer zo groot als Saturnus - en ligt op 1.300 lichtjaren in het sterrenbeeld Schilder. Een van de twee sterren is tien procent groter dan onze zon. De andere is kouder, minder helder en qua massa maar een derde van onze zon.

Voor de student, een Star Wars-fan, is TOI 1338 b, die zich elke 93 tot 95 dagen rond twee sterren beweegt, zoals de fictieve planeet Tatooine. “Bij elke zonsondergang gaan er twee sterren onder”, aldus Cukier.

De tiener droomt nu al luidop van studeren aan een van de drie Amerikaanse topuniversiteiten Princeton, MIT of Stanford.

What is the Connection Between Alien Visitors and UFO Sightings?

UFO sightings have been around since the beginning of time, and everyone who has watched or investigated them has noticed a fascinating similarity between the event of a spaceship landing on the moon and the origins of the extraterrestrial subject. One theory is that the UFOs that have been sighted were a cover for the alien wars that took place in deep space millions of years ago. It’s also said that the landing of the UFOs on the moon were the proverbial last ditch efforts of the extraterrestrial visitors to get off the planet, thereby avoiding being assimilated by our planet. It has been also suggested that it was the presence of extraterrestrial life that was used to explain away the strange behaviour of the alien visitors.

During a visit to Egypt in the year of 1950, a group of scientists took up residence in a hotel at Thebes. There was an unexplained noise emanating from the hotel, in particular from a strange metallic rod with a large hole in it. The metallic rod seemed to emit a lot of noise, and at one point an unknown man appeared and began talking to a group of three men, one of whom thought he could recognise the voice.

UFO sightings, and the stories of encounters with UFO’s, have been reported as far back as the 1930’s. After all, many of the major discoveries in science and technology happened during that period. For example, Nazi scientists including Von Braun were able to build the first piloted aircraft, which was an important technological breakthrough that led to the other advances that have taken place in aerospace and aeronautics.

Even if this is not the case, and most scientists believe that UFOs are real and that we really do have some kind of alien visitors to our planet, there have been many recorded encounters of these UFOs. It was reported in 1973 that two US Air Force Generals saw an unidentified object that they described as a pyramid. It also helped that the shape of the object closely resembled that of an orbiting satellite.

The UFO phenomenon is not limited to the United States alone, and there are many other countries that have their own UFO sightings. There is a connection between some UFO sightings and natural phenomena, and it has been widely reported that many of the UFO sightings that have been reported are related to electrical storms, tornadoes, volcanic eruptions, volcanic eruptions, and seismic activity. The question of where these UFO’s are coming from remains a mystery, and most scientists have no idea.

The Ice Age that existed for many millions of years, including the Ice Age that currently exists, lasted about a thousand years. Because there was a marked increase in the number of UFO sightings at the same time, and it is also believed that more UFO sightings occur during periods of more seismic activity.

Even if the weather doesn’t create a UFO sighting, some of the things that you can see, or at least hear about, while you are looking around a UFO sighting are compelling enough to be worth taking note of. For example, it is reported that there are some very crafty, multi-dimensional crafts that look like they have been in space long enough to make their presence known. The way they interact with objects in the air is also something that causes a lot of talk and the accounts that come in about them are extremely compelling. Now this sounds like science fiction, but it is very close to the truth.

Daytime UFO activity over Los Angeles, CA 11-Jan-2020

Another great 2020 UFO Sighting! This one was taken over the city of Los Angeles, California on 11th January 2020.

Witness report: 

Orbs Rose from the west, 3 orbs followed by 5 that rose in a group, caught up to the first 3 then formed a pentagon. They held that shape for minutes. Looking westward at a working crane, I saw what i thought were bright perfectly round balloons floating upward from behind clouds to my west at an angle of about 25 degrees. The cloud today, after research were at a minimum 1300 feet to 2500 feet and dissipated at 24,000 feet. There were wispy clouds in the area of the orbs. They floated up slowly. The wind blew the clouds north east, slowly. The orbs followed the wind but appeared to go less north than the clouds. The 3 white orbs were by them selves for about a minute. then 5 orbs came up slightly faster than the others primary assent, and then slowed and split into the pentagon shape filmed. I have a snap shot of the first 3, in the area of the pentagon you won’t find any orbs.

In the other photo you can see the pentagon orbs close to the first 3. That shows they accelerated to the area, not filmed but seen by me. The 5 came up close, like a group of balloons released at the same time, then slowed and formed the pentagon shape filmed. I thought that this was not balloons!! Balloons don’t form shapes and hold for minutes. Those balloons stayed in that shape and followed the first 3 perfectly from west to directly over head, heading east. I lost sight of them after that. Clouds to the east covered them. I filmed and observed seagulls after that. They were sharper in the photos, under the cloud cover, much closer. I could tell then that the orbs I saw were not birds or balloons. I’ve observed satellites many times passing over, The orbs had that appearance, but not the speed. It took about 12 minutes to go from 25 degrees to 90/100 degrees. Real slow. I photographed helicopters and airplanes, also observed the appearance, altitudes, etc. From that observation my guess is the orbs were anywhere from 5000 feet to 20,000 feet. I won’t guess what they were, just reporting what I saw.

You can totally judge for yourselves. As an artist who has an eye and perception better than normal, and as an aircraft fan, I know aircraft, I’ve seen balloons, satellites, shooting stars etc. This was none of those

Fast radio bursts—or FRBs if you’re trying to sound like you’re in the know—are mysterious, bright bursts of radio waves coming from outside our galaxy. Bright is a bit of an understatement, actually. In just a fraction of a second, fast radio bursts emit as much energy as our sun does over the course of a century. But there are a lot of events and objects out in space whose magnitude or power is best shown by making our sun look like a tiny, weak, little nerd of a star.

There’s a rarer type of FRB that is still completely mysterious: repeating fast radio bursts. While most FRBs flash once and only once, repeating FRBs demonstrate a consistent pattern of the same signal, leading some to speculate that the source may be artificial or intelligent in nature. Only one repeating fast radio burst has so far been traced to its source, a dense dwarf galaxy 3 billion light-years away. Now researchers have traced a second repeating fast radio burst to a nearby galaxy similar in structure to our own. What they found, however, only deepens the mystery.

FRB 180916.J0158+65 is the memorable name of the object in question. It was discovered by the Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment (CHIME) observatory in British Columbia, Canada. Astronomers at CHIME, alongside a network of observatories in Europe, were able to trace FRB 180916.J0158+65 to an arm of a medium-sized spiral galaxy only 500 million light-years away. Which is close for another entire galaxy, and makes this the closest FRB ever discovered. Their findings were published on January 6, 2020 in the journal Nature.

Now that’s a story in and of itself: tracing a repeating fast radio burst to its source for only the second time and it happens to be the closest FRB (repeating or nonrepeating) ever discovered. There are tons of jokes about our neighbors being aliens that practically write themselves. But here’s the rub. The location they tracked this FRB to has no sources of radio waves that, to our knowledge, could produce a fast radio burst of any kind, let alone a repeating signal.

This finding also flies in the face of every other FRB astronomers have managed to track down. The only other repeating FRB researchers have localized came from a galaxy that has a definite persistent radio source—possibly a nebula, according to researchers—which was seen as a likely source of the FRB. This new one has nothing of the sort, meaning, at the very least, that researchers still don’t have a nice model to explain repeating fast radio bursts.

But it’s always fun to put on the old wild-and-baseless-speculation-hats. Actually, we don’t even need the wild-and-baseless-speculation-hats. Take that off. Researchers tracked a repeating radio signal to a galaxy that has no visible means of producing it. That’s kind of nuts.

“Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope” took place in 0 BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin), making Luke Skywalker 19 years old when he left his home planet Tatooine and its binary stars, Tatoo I and Tatoo II. In 2019, Wolf Cukier was 17 years old and a high school junior when he left his home in Scarsdale, New York, to summer intern at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland in Year 0 BDT – Before the Discovery of TOI 1338 b, the first exoplanet found to be orbiting two stars at once. Does this make him a Jedi or just really popular at school?

“There’s a whole bunch of things that also looked like planets when I was searching. It took some time to actually verify that this was a bonafide planet and not the telescope shaking or something. When I first found it, it was among 100 other things I flagged to start. I do think I put like 10 asterisks next to it. I thought it looked pretty good compared to the rest of the things I saw.”

Cukier described to The New York Post his work using data from NASA’s Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) to search images of the sky for changes in a star’s brightness over time, which would indicate the transit of a planet in front of it. Cukier knew that the smaller dwarf star of the TOI 1338 pair could be causing its dimming (obviously a smart kid), so he flagged (or asterisked) it and kept an eye on it. His hunch paid off when he observed a consistent transit in front of the large star that could definitely be a planet … one that is about 6.9 times larger than Earth. But how could he confirm it?

“Throughout all of its images, TESS is monitoring millions of stars. That’s why our team created eleanor. It’s an accessible way to download, analyze and visualize transit data. We designed it with planets in mind, but other members of the community use it to study stars, asteroids and even galaxies.”

In a NASA press release, Adina Feinstein, a graduate student at the University of Chicago and co-author with Cukier of the paper on the discovery which was discussed this week at the 235th American Astronomical Society meeting in Honolulu, introduces us to eleanor, which Wolf probably had to explain to his girlfriend is not a female robotic co-worker but an open-source python framework for downloading, analyzing, and visualizing data from the TESS Full Frame Images. The program is named after another sci-fi character — Eleanor Arroway, the central character in Carl Sagan’s novel “Contact.” She confirmed TOI 1338 b was real and not an instrument anomaly. Since he’s still a teen, will Wolf Cukier one day make a trip to his own circumbinary Tatooine planet … or at least see a probe visit there in his lifetime? Probably not, since TOI 1338 is 1,300 light-years away in the constellation Pictor. However, he does qualify to appear in a NASA press release and co-autor a scientific paper. In the world of astronomy, that’s the equivalent of a laurel and hearty handshake.

Let’s hope that in the world of senior year at high school, it means an A in astrophysics and a scholarship to a good college for Wolf. Not to mention a date with a real Eleanor.

We have a number of candidates running for president who claim they will investigate the existence of extraterrestrials and their spaceships once they’re elected, but these types of promises tend to get shoved aside when more pressing matters like foreign affairs, domestic disasters and welcoming championship sports teams to the White House interfere. Perhaps it’s because none of these candidates have any actual encounters with UFOs or ETs. Fortunately, there’s one candidate running for US Congress in California (of course) who has both, and his name is probably familiar to ufologists – retired U.S. Air Force Captain Robert Salas, who says the recent release of videos showing military encounters with UFOs are part of his motivation to run, and disclosure is part of his platform. Does he have a chance?

Robert Salas, a UFO witness (and researcher) who figured prominently in UFOs & Nukes: Extraordinary Encounters at Nuclear Weapons Sites is running for Congress.

“And just as I [called my commander], our missiles began going into what’s called a no-go condition, or unlaunchable. Essentially, they were disabled while this object was still hovering over our site.”

In 1967, Robert Salas was told by personnel under his command at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana that a red, glowing object about 30 feet in diameter was hovering just above the front gate of the facility. As he was escalating this up the chain of command, the ten Minuteman One nuclear-tipped missiles (ICBMs) at the base shut down due to failures in their guidance and control systems. In a story he has now told many times, Salas asked about the status of the UFO and was told by a guard that it took off at a high speed. The ICBMs were eventually brought back online and an investigation was conducted, which found no viable/believable/non-ET cause for the mysterious shutdown. Salas and everyone else involved were told never to discuss the incident again.

So why do so many people know about it? Well, ex-soldiers talk, especially when there’s beer involved, and Salas discovered there was a similar UFO-related shutdown incident in 1966 at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota. He decided to come forward with his story in 1994, co-authored a book, Faded Giant, about it in 2005, co-sponsored a press conference about it with other ex-military witnesses in 2010, participated in the Citizen’s Hearing on Disclosure at the National Press Club in Washington in 2013 and wrote another book about it and other similar cases in 2015 (Unidentified: The UFO Phenomenon). And yet, with all of that effort – including lectures and media appearances, Salas has not been able to influence disclosure about UFOs, ETs and their possible relationship to nuclear weapons and nuclear power, even though UFOs are often seen around power plants.

“So, how does this relate to my running for Congress? You may have already guessed? It will be one of my prime objectives to get Congress to take this phenomenon on as a serious matter. One that is directly related to excessive secrecy in many of our agencies and the issue of nuclear weapons.”

On his political website (salas4congress.org), Salas lists “The UFO Issue,” “Excessive Government Secrecy” and “Nuclear Weapons” as part of his platform. For greater details on his beliefs, he refers voters to his other website (spiralgalaxy.org). Unlike the current presidential candidates, Salas is upfront about them. He tells De Void why the recent UFO videos inspired him to run – he sees the military seizing on them as a funding vehicle to fight aliens, not work with them.

“The shutting down of our missiles was, to me, a message – that’s all. They did no damage to those missiles, by the way, they simply upset the inertial guidance system. All they had to do was go out there and reorient the missiles properly so that if they launched, they would be accurate on target. It was strictly an orientation thing.”

Does he have a chance? California’s primaries on March 3rd are bipartisan, which means the top two vote-getters will meet again in November, regardless of their party. So, he just needs to finish second against a strong incumbent. And if he doesn’t?

“I don’t know where this is gonna go. But if I don’t get laughed out of the place for this UFO stuff, if I can get the UFO community behind me even more in terms of donations, then hopefully I’ll have enough to compete, and stimulate more interest in this subject.”

The CIA recently declassified an intelligence report which reveals new information regarding a nearly 50-year-old UFO sighting. The sighting happened during the summer of 1973 at an experimental missile range located in Kazakhstan (Soviet Union’s Sary Shagan Weapons Testing Range).

The heavily redacted report contains only one paragraph explaining the mysterious UFO encounter that happened at a spot called “Site 7”. It explains that the witness was watching a Canada vs. USSR sports game on television when the person “stepped outside for some air”. At that point, the witness reported seeing “an unidentified sharp (bright) green circular object or mass in the sky.” Even though the object was hovering in the sky, the witness was unable to give an approximate size.

According to the report, “Within 10 to 15 seconds of observation, the green circle widened and within a brief period of time several green concentric circles formed around the mass. Within minutes the coloring disappeared. There was no sound, such as an explosion, associated with the phenomenon.”

After researcher John Greenewald asked for a Mandatory Declassification Review and received the intelligence report, he made an interesting connection between numerous unexplained sightings during the Cold War and other similar UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) sightings reported by the U.S. Department of Defense. In fact, a military official told The Washington Post that UAPs can sometimes be seen in military airspace multiple times per month.

In a telephone interview, Greenewald told Newsweek, “This is very much similar to the context we see today, with threats on military facilities,” adding, “The U.S. Navy has gone on the record saying whatever this is, it’s a concern. They’re being encroached upon by this unidentified phenomena.”

The report also added that several weapons were being tested at the range, such as experimental missiles and warheads that contained cartridges that were loaded with hundreds of metal balls. “According to hearsay, experiments involving laser weapons were conducted at an unknown location at the range. Supposedly the tests involved powerful antennas,” the report read. The UFO sighting happened at Site 7 which was used as the headquarters for the “warhead checkout unit” with a number of Soviet Air Force personnel stationed there. The full report can be read here.

It’s quite interesting that the UFO encounter took place at an experimental missile range in 1973 because just a short time before that there were over 12,000 UFO sightings reported to Project Blue Book between the years 1947 and 1969 during the Cold War.
