Vreemde trillingen in Groningen geen aardbeving
Wat een nieuwe aardbeving in Groningen leek, blijkt nu toch iets anders te zijn. Mensen maakten dinsdagavond melding van trillingen.
Het KNMI meldde niets te zien op de seismologische apparatuur, maar het instituut heeft wel een akoestische knal in de atmosfeer ten noorden van Ameland gemeten.
Even na tien uur dinsdagavond kwam een stroom twitterberichten op gang en ook belden mensen naar media om door te geven dat er een grote aardbeving in Groningen was geweest. Er kwamen ook meldingen uit Drenthe en zuidoost-Friesland.
Gerommel
Veel mensen zeggen gerommel en een knal te hebben gehoord. Ook spreken mensen van trillende ramen en ‘gerammel als een kar met ijzeren wielen’. Mensen dachten ‘even te zweven’ en er zijn veranderingen in de energie gemeten.
Op Twitter meldden inwoners van onder meer Ulrum, Usquert, Middelstum en Loppersum dat ze trillingen hadden gevoeld. Ook mensen in verder weg gelegen plaatsen als de stad Groningen, Assen en Haulerwijk voelden de trillingen.
Oefening
Volgens Defensie zijn er geen oefeningen geweest in het noorden. Wel is er een oefening met F-16’s geweest boven de Waddenzee, maar dat was voor de aardbeving. Volgens een woordvoerder is er zeker geen straaljager door de geluidsbarrière gegaan. Dat mag alleen bij Tiel, en dan alleen overdag. “Wij waren het niet. Ik heb daarvoor op dit moment geen indicaties,” aldus de zegsman.
Op woensdag zegt een woordvoerder van Defensie weer dat de mysterieuze knal wél werd veroorzaakt door een F-16 die door de geluidsbarrière vloog.
Volgens Theo Jurriens van de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen is het waarschijnlijk geen meteoriet geweest. “Dan zouden mensen dat gezien moeten hebben, met dit heldere weer.”

HOUSTON – In one Texas community, people say they are concerned about a mysterious animal that's been spotted in the area.
Some are calling it the chupacabra, but before you roll your eyes, there may be a legitimate explanation for this mythical animal.
Photos of the strange animal were taken last Sunday in the backyard of a gated condo complex. It was the third sighting of the animal in just the past 11 days. At least one man is convinced it could be the legendary Chupacabra.
“Big, long, pointy ears. Long tail, had no skin, or no fur, but you could see splotches of gray,” said resident Scott Black.

Black has seen the animal four times, each instance right outside his back door. After seeing the photos, a trapper from Ohio visited, and then sent black a cage to try to capture it.
Animal control expert Claude Griffin said while many will pass off the animal as a coyote, the physical characteristics appear to be a possible combination of several canine species from a coyote to domesticated breed to dingo.
He's seen it before in Houston area, which has a higher number of exotic pet owners than many people realize.
“People are actually inbreeding the animals and letting them go and claiming that they're catching them. They are practicing the perfection of inbreeding,” said Griffin.
It went on to describe how Antonio Acuña, accompanied by a passenger, was driving to the radio station in the middle of the night when he was startled to see a figure on the road that “at first resembled a human being” but upon closer inspection proved to have a head, hands and feet of a different, darker color. Acuña described the entity as having “very slender fingers” and clad in a white outfit with “a strange source of light on its chest.” The radio station employee and his passenger told the media that the strange image “vanished suddenly”. No follow-up was provided.
Issue #13 (September 1993) of Terra Incognita, the official publication of Mexico’s defunct Centro de Estudios de Fenomenos Parnormales, carried an interesting story about “humanoid aliens” in Valle de Santiago, a locale in the state of Guanajuato, where a UFO enthusiast was on the trail of a being “clad in a silver-blue one piece outfit, with glowing eyes that shine as if covered in gold.” Reportedly, the entity’s hair and facial hair (certainly an unusual detail in descriptions of alleged ufonauts!) matched the creature’s clothing, as did his footwear. In its right hand, the humanoid brandished what was described as a “triangle with a glowing” tip and was theorized by onlookers to be a weapon of some sorts.
According to the Terra Incognita feature (which in turn quotes a publication called Cuestión Policiaca), a group of unnamed ufologists visited the area, which includes a watering hole known as La Alberca. Visits by these researchers, from the Morelia and Zamora, occurred during a period of seven months, in hopes of substantiating either the existence of the humanoid or stories about lights hovering over the watering hole or plunging into it (a situation reminiscent of Puerto Rico’s Laguna Cartagena in the very late ‘80s).
During one of the groups visits to the site, Oscar Arredondo – a self-proclaimed contactee and member of the expedition – heard a noise in the early morning hours and reached for his camera, breaking away from his slumbering companions and heading toward a small hill, “where he saw a glow and a strange being that walked erect.”
Without hesitation, Arredondo pressed the camera’s shutter, its sound prompting the entity to turn around saying a word. Unimpressed, the being resumed its walk, startling the photographer, as “it was walking down a slope without falling or making any effort whatsoever, as though floating.” The creature strode into the darkness, vanishing without a trace, but not before the photographer took a second photo, this time of its back.
Arredondo returned to his companions and excitedly told them what had happened, waving his camera and the image it contained within. They agreed to convene at a location in the state of Michoacán to develop the film and proceed from there.
“The photo taken of the extraterrestrial’s back,” says the article in Terra Incognita, “was jealously guarded, but the photo of its front was obtained by Cuestión Policiaca.” The publication shared the image with its readers in its issue #104, for the week of October 20-26 of 1992. The faded, photocopied photo was included in Terra Incognita with the following information: “A unique photo in the world, taken recently in Valle de Santiago, Guanajuato, and showing an alleged extraterrestrial. It holds it its right hand a sophisticated [illegible]. It wears a luminous one-piece outfit. The figure looks human, but its eyes are much larger than normal, as they glow and are greenish in color. The photo was taken by an enthusiast who accompanied one of our correspondents.”
Local residents were not as enthusiastic as the UFO media, as the phenomenon’s presence had been nearly constant in the Valle de Santiago. “In a certain way, we’re already quite used to seeing those flying objects around here. We see them flying around at low altitude and they lose themselves among the Seven Mountains or Seven Moons, as we refer to that [mountain] range. They form a circle and in their central part there is a chasm,” explained Eleuterio Esquivel, a local farmer.
Another local grower – Ramiro Sánchez Esparrogoza, had an even more compelling story to tell: “I once spoke to a very strange man who wore a silvery one-piece outfit. He spoke our language. He told me to plant a seed of the same plants I was growing (carrots and lettuce) in a single plot and then – using a technique known only to him – vanished before my eyes. I never saw him again and three months later I found that the carrots were one meter tall, and you can imagine my surprise five months later, when the carrots and lettuce heads were gigantic. I could barely carry one of each.”
The story involving the humanoid photograph is certainly a stretch, even for the most open-minded reader. But some items should be taken into consideration: a short-lived UFO flap took place in the area in 1998, covering a number of central-eastern Mexican states, also involving humanoid sightings. On April 22, 1991, for instance Ms. Adriana Velazquez Montes claimed to have witnesses along with her brothers Pedro and Miguel “a fireball” in Monte de las Cruces, near the site known as Tepeji del Río in the state of Hidalgo. According to the witness, they were able to observe two “midgets”–1.20 meters tall– who signaled to the startled humans with a powerful red light.
Admittedly, form-fitting, silvery outfits on putative extraterrestrials (or ultraterrestrials) smacks of Adamski and 1950s vintage contactee yarns, and perhaps should be treated with the same level of caution. But these humanoids play a prominent role in many unusual experiences in Mexico since the early days of the modern phase of the UFO mystery. One case involving such beings – mentioned in earlier Inexplicata entries – is the October 13, 1975 case involving Mr. and Mrs. Diaz Solis as they drove through the Zone of Silence in Ceballos, Durango (roughly 400 miles south of El Paso, Texas). The Diaz couple had set off to the remote and mysterious desert location to collect stones and fossils, which are in abundance. In the early afternoon, seeing the skies darken with approaching storms, the couple boarded their Ford pick-up truck – equipped with all terrain tires, a novelty at the time – and decided to flee from the rain, but within minutes found themselves in a torrential downpour of the kind that often precedes flash floods. The dirt road turned into a roaring stream and the pick-up’s rear wheel drive quickly became stuck in the mud, despite Mr. Diaz’s best efforts. And the rain, far from dissipating, was becoming more intense.
Braving the elements, Mr. Diaz jumped out of the truck, trying to keep it from sinking any further. Amid the wind and rain, he heard his wife shouting from inside the cab that “someone was approaching.” Looking up, rivulets of water streaming down his forehead and making visibility difficult, Mr. Diaz confirmed that two very tall men were indeed headed their way. They seemed to be dressed identically in bright yellow slickers and caps, noticeable silver rings on their fingers and an emblem of sorts on the raincoats. Their features were fine yet rigid, giving them an odd appearance. They exchanged a few words with Mr. Diaz, asking him to board the truck and try to free the vehicle while both men pushed. Diaz did as he was told and in seconds, the Ford pick-up jumped right out of the deep rut it had sunken into. Overjoyed, the driver opened the door to get out and thank the good Samaritans, but to his dismay, they were nowhere to be seen. “It was enough to drive anyone insane. One minute they were there, and next they were gone as if the earth had swallowed them. There was no place where they could’ve hidden and no sign of their tracks in the muddy ground. They simply vanished.”

From my balcony I witnessed this pulsating blue-green object hovering, rising slightly and finally moving from Southeast to the Northeast over the Atlantic Ocean.
I was able to capture a few images of the object. It traveled without sound and split into two distinct objects before moving to far away to photograph any longer.
The color changed from shades of purple to blue-green and white.
The outer area was emitting a glow that grew and shrank during its movement.
The timing of the pulsating was not fixed, more of a random pattern.
This is very similar to an object I saw last year in the same area only that sighting was over the Gulf of Mexico instead of the Atlantic.
(N.Morgan) In the video below, there’s an object flying around the chemtrail plane. It seems to be tracking the chemplane. Are they working together or was the object monitoring the chemplane’s progress? There are also some explosions or emissions that occur as it heads into chem clouds. This UFO tracks the chem plane at the same rate of speed and direction.
Dr Robert Wood worked in a senior capacity as an aerospace engineer at McDonnell Douglas for his entire 43-year career. In his testimony, he states that he was involved in a specific project at McDonnell Douglas to study the propulsion systems of UFOs. In addition, he confirms the existence of other projects within the aerospace industry, and gives his assessment of the fact that this subject is not only real, but is of extraterrestrial nature. He also confirms the extreme secrecy surrounding the subject.
The people of the in the region of Val Pescara in Italy have witnessed large pulsating UFOs multiple times this year. Similar craft have been seen world-wide for the past four years.
Charles DeMeo wrote: “They say the one large one is emanating a light beam now at this time , this is over Italy on the 6th of this month and radio signals were disturbed. The term Val Pescara designates the industrial zone which is situated in the north of the town of Chieti and in the western city of Pescara and which coincides geographically with the valley in which flows the final part of the river Pescara , which takes the name. The area has been the site of repeated sightings of large diamond shaped UFOs.

A UFO was seen flying over Val Pescara, Italy by an amateur astronomer, while he was recording the Moon. This was captured on film on the 16th of April, 2013.
Cambridge, Ontario couple reports photographing an apparent Pyramid-like UFO moving rapidly over the city around a cloud cover on 3 May 2012 according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database. Cambridge is a Canadian city that is west of Toronto.

According to Michael Cohen, most UFO researchers have conclude that the various pyramid UFOs seen recently above various cities across the globe are connected. The recent pyramid UFOs seen over China and Colombia are particularly similar and might well show the same craft. UFO researchers are generally clueless as to where the extraterrestrial race associated with these craft come from or anything else about them. Some have suggested this might be a new race engaging Earthlings, others link these craft with pyramids in Egypt and other ancient events, believing these ‘ancient astronauts’ are returning as a prelude to 2012.
Most UFO researchers suspect that world governments are hiding what they know about alien and UFO visitation from the general public. These open, obvious displays have led many to come to the conclusion that aliens themselves are about to make their presence known to us, thus finally ending our isolation and conclusively answering the question: Are we alone in the universe?

Dec 11, 2009: The Kremlin has been circled by a UFO – well, that’s if you believe a video which has soared to the top of YouTube’s Russian website. The pictures apparently shot from a passing car have become an online sensation. Another YouTube clip filmed during daylight shows a fuzzy Grey object on the skyline near Red Square. Skeptics however say that if the images were for real, the public would have reported sightings to police – who are making no comment.
The object was compared to an Imperial Cruiser in the Star Wars films and witnesses estimated it could be up to a mile wide, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Two film clips exist which appear to show the same object and footage has been repeatedly playing on Russian television news channels.
The shots, one taken at night from a car and one during the day, were both filmed by amateurs.
The ‘craft’ was said to have hovered for hours over Red Square in the Russian capital.

We all have heard and read a lot about UFOs (UnidentifiedFlying Objects) through books, movies and news reports. However, our knowledge on this subject continues to be limited as the information about these flying objects is kept secret from the world. Nevertheless, the curious minds have collected boatloads of information to disseminate.
People from different countries and professions have reported UFO sightings but still no substantial evidence have been found to claim these sightings to be true. Some people believe in UFOs and some still consider them as science fiction.
Here are some interesting facts about UFOs:
1. UFO is not the only term used to refer to these objects. The term Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (UAP) is used as a broader term by investigators. Another term is OVNI – popularly used by Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian.
2. People from different locations and professions have reported UFO sightings. As per ufoevidence.org 5 to 7 percent people in the world have seen UFOs and 10 to 15 percent people know someone in their contact who have seen a UFO.
3. So far, no UFO has been tracked on radar entering the Earth’s atmosphere. As per the National Aviation Reporting Center on Anomalous Phenomena (NARCAP), some UFOs have unusual electromagnetic properties which disrupt microprocessors and adversely effect avionic systems.
4. There is a law in the US (under title 14, Section 1211 of the Code of Federal regulations, implemented on July 16, 1969) which makes it illegal for US citizens to have any contact with the extraterrestrials or their vehicles.
5. Pilot Kenneth Arnold is known to be the first person to report UFO sighting on June 24, 1947. As per the report, he spotted nine disc-shaped objects flying over Mt. Rainer, Washington. A reporter labeled them “flying saucers,” and the term entered mainstream consciousness.
6. Flying Saucers from Outer Space was the first book to use the term “UFO”. The book was written by Donald E. Keyhoe in 1953.
7. 12,618 UFO sightings were reported to Project Blue Book between year 1947 and 1969. Project Blue Book was a UFOresearch agency that was headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Even till date, 701 of these sightings remain ‘unidentified’.
8. In the late 1930s, Orson Wells’ radio show The War of the Worlds was so realistic that hundreds of people thought America was really been invaded by aliens and UFOs.
9. On August 15, 2013 the CIA finally acknowledged the existence of Area 51. This area and its surroundings are strictly off limits for public access. According to some videos and articles smuggled outside, living and dead aliens and spacecraft of futuristic designs were found on this land. But government still denies these claims.
10. According to some UFO aficionados, the Men in Black (MIBs) really do exist, and have been hammering on the doors of alien witnesses ever since the first appearance of flying saucers in 1947.
11. Area 51′s nickname DREAMLAND was allegedly derived from an Edgar Allan Poe poem by the same name. It admonishes that “the traveler, traveling through it, may not-dare not openly view it; Never its mysteries are exposed, to the weak human eye unclosed”.
12. Betty and Barney Hill had the first alien abduction. They claimed to have been taken by aliens from a New Hampshire road.
13. UFOs have inspired many clubs and organizations, such as the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), the Center for UFOStudies (CUFOS), and the Fund for UFO Research.
14. The first photographs of a UFO were taken in 1883 by astronomer Jose Bonilla in Zacatecas, Mexico.
15. Most mainstream scientists consider UFOs (in their popular sense as extraterrestrial visitors) as so extraordinarily unlikely (though not impossible) as to deserve no investigation.

Retired NASA Astrobiologist Will Present Evidence of Extraterrestrial Life at UFO Conference
Controversial astrobiologist Richard Hoover and his colleagues at the Centre for Astrobiology at the University of Buckingham have been making worldwide headlines for years due to their claims that scientist have already obtained valid evidence of extraterrestrial life. Hoover will be presenting some of this evidence at the International UFO Congress at the Fort McDowell Radisson in Fountain Hills, Arizona on Thursday, February 13.
Hoover’s controversial claims caught major media attention while he was working as the Astrobiology Group Leader at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama in 2011. In March of that year Fox News ran a story about a sneak preview they received of a paper Hoover submitted to the Journal of Cosmology in which he claims to have found evidence of microfossils inside a meteorite. Hoover told Fox News, “I interpret it as indicating that life is more broadly distributed than restricted strictly to the planet earth.”
The editor-in-chief of the Journal of Cosmology, Harvard astrophysicist Dr. Rudy Schild, said Hoover’s paper was peer-reviewed, and said he agreed with Hoover’s conclusions. However, other NASA scientists and many mainstream astrobiologists remained skeptical. The ensuing debate on Hoover’s findings played out across international headlines.

Hoover is currently a visiting scientist at Athens State University and a visiting research professor with the Centre for Astrobiology at the University of Buckingham. The later made headlines twice in 2013 for additional announcements of the discovery of evidence for extraterrestrial life. The first was with another paper submitted to the Journal of Cosmology claiming a meteorite in Sri Lanka contained fossilized diatoms they believed to be extraterrestrial. Then in September 2013, the group used balloons to find small biological organisms in the stratosphere where it is theorized earth bound organisms cannot exits.
Conference co-organizer Alejandro Rojas says, “People interested in UFOs are no strangers to controversial topics, and they are also fascinated by the search for extraterrestrial life, so it seems to be the perfect venue for Hoover to present his thought provoking evidence. The potential implications of his work are mind-blowing, which is a fact that is certainly not lost among a group of UFO enthusiasts.”

The witness was employed by the Air Force as a photographer. One day he received unexpected news that his security clearance had been upgraded. A few weeks later, he and another military photographer were flown for a temporary duty assignment to Norton Air Force base. As they landed they were taken on a two-hour drive inside an Air Force vehicle with blacked out windows. They finally arrived at their destination, which turned out to be inside an underground installation. They were ordered to disrobe and given white smocks to wear. The main witness was taken to a room, which contained a disc shaped craft suspended in a heavy net hanging from a large crane. The disc was about 30 feet in diameter and had a small opening on the side. The witness was lifted up to the opening and put inside. He was shocked to see that the inside looked to be about 10 times the size of the outside. Disoriented he poked his head back outside to check the size which appeared to be about 35 ft in diameter only. He continued to photograph the inside of the disc and was later taken to photograph 2 actual alien bodies dressed in blue jumpsuits. Very little description of the alien beings was given other than they were of small stature, had smooth bluish skin and large football shaped eyes. One body had deep lacerations and missing tissue and appeared as if it was involved in an horrific accident. At that point, he became ill and the other photographer was called in to complete the assignment. NOTE: What’s most interesting about this report is that it suggests possible, though anecdotal, proof of the space / time continuum theory. There have been rumors floating around for many years that the first Russian contact with “grey aliens” allegedly took place in 1942. At the time, a series of diplomatic visits to discuss matters of mutual concern were planned, according to alleged Russian documents and a treaty was made, Voice of Russia writes.
In 1969 in the state of Sverdlovsky, a UFO was reported to had crashed and was recovered by the Russian military. There is an alleged video footage showing the recovery, with close-ups of the UFO itself. Allegedly, there was one dead alien found in the craft. The remains of the alien and the UFO debris were taken to a secure Russian site, where the saucer was analyzed, and an autopsy done on the alien.
According to Russian newspaper “Pravda”, the KGB has allegedly had a special unit designed to gather and monitor all pieces of information regarding mystical and unexplained phenomena reported inside and outside the Soviet Union.
Also according to Pravda, General A. G. Ponomarnko, head commander of the Urals military district, was to ensure that KGB agents be involved in the work pertaining to the UFO at all stages. The agents’ reports were promptly forwarded to Colonel A. I. Grigoriev, chief of the KGB scientific department.
According Billy J Booth on About.com there are unsubstantiated reports that a UFO crashed or was shot down near the city of Prohlandnyi, in the USSR at on August 10, 1989. Soviet military radar tracked an unidentified flying object and the Russian attempted unsuccessfully to contact the craft. The UFO was classified as “hostile.” Soviet defenses were alerted, and MIG-25s flew to find and identify the UFO.
There was obvious damage to the exterior of the craft. The retrieval team, wearing protective outer wear, moved to the site. There was a small amount of radiation, and some members of the team were effected.
A helicopter on the scene was hooked up to the craft, and the UFO was transported to Mozdok Air Base. Russians entered the UFO and discovered three alien bodies-two dead, one barely alive.
A team of doctors and other medical personnel made every effort to keep the alien alive, but failed. All three of the beings were about 3 1/2 to 4 feet tall, with gray outer wear. Underneath, their skin was a blue-green color with a reptilian texture. They had no hair, large black eyes covered with a protective lid, and web fingers ended their long, slender arms. The alien bodies were kept in glass containers and UFO taken to Kapustin Yar.
This information was first reported by three Russian investigators-Anton Anfalov, Lenura Azizova and Alexander Mosolov. However, they had no documentation to support their story. – In Serbia

Zware uitbarstingen op de zon zorgen geregeld voor mooie taferelen. Het noorderlicht is soms zelfs in grote delen van Europa zichtbaar.
Uit Zweden zijn prachtige beelden opgedoken. Begin deze maand werd het poollicht vastgelegd boven nationaal park Abisko in Lapland.
Het komt tijdens zonnestormen voor dat heel wat vluchten die normaal langs de noordpool zouden vliegen, uit voorzorg worden omgeleid. Als een plasmawolk sterk genoeg is, kan die de communicatie en GSP-systemen aan boord ernstig verstoren. Ook kunnen er problemen met satellieten optreden. Werknemers in hoogvliegende vliegtuigen kunnen te maken krijgen met een extra hoge dosis straling.
Volgens ruimteorganisatie NASA moeten we ons opmaken voor grotere zonnestormen. De zon bevindt zich in de meest actieve fase van een elfjarige cyclus, al is de activiteit beperkter dan normaal. In de cyclus komen actieve en minder actieve periodes voor. In actievere periodes is het normaal dat de zon met grote regelmaat zonnevlekken en zonnestormen veroorzaakt.
Op de polen is het effect van de zonnestorm het sterkst, aangezien het magnetische veld van de planeet daar het minst beschermd is.

Een robot op Mars heeft een foto gemaakt van een ongeïdentificeerd vliegend object. Dat melden Britse media.
Het vreemde object, dat een buitenaards ruimteschip kan zijn, is vastgelegd door Marsrover Curiosity van NASA die aan het werk is op de rode planeet.
Op de foto is een object te zien dat een spoor lijkt achter te laten in de lucht. Ufoloog Streetcap1 trof de afbeelding aan op de servers van NASA. Toen hij het object uitvergrootte zag hij een kegelvormige massa met een staart. “Heeft Mars een eigen ruimtevaartprogramma?”
Diverse internetgebruikers kwamen met mogelijke verklaringen voor het object. “Er zit iets op de lens van de camera,” zei iemand. “Dat is natuurlijk een weerballon,” zei een ander. Anderen dachten aan ijs, stof of een asteroïde.
